Cy: Yn nyfnder y ddaear, cuddai'r bunkeri ymchwil o dan y pridd.
En: In the depths of the earth, the research bunkers lay hidden beneath the soil.

Cy: Roedd yr awyrgylch yn dawel fel arfer gyda sŵn distaw'r peiriannau.
En: The atmosphere was usually quiet with the faint hum of machines.

Cy: Ond heddiw, yng nghanol Gwanwyn, wrth i'r byd uchod ddeffro gyda gŵyl Beltane, daeth y tŵr tywyll yn dawelach pan fiodd y pŵer yn mynd allan yn sydyn.
En: But today, in the middle of spring, as the world above awakened with the festival of Beltane, the dark tower grew quieter as the power suddenly went out.

Cy: Roedd Rhys, gweithiwr peirianneg y bunkeri, yn cnoi ei wefus.
En: Rhys, the engineering worker at the bunkers, bit his lip.

En: "Rhys, what do we do now?"

Cy: " gofynnodd Cerys, ofn yn ei llais.
En: asked Cerys, fear in her voice.

Cy: Roedd angen yr ymchwil hwn er mwyn cyflwyno eu darganfyddiadau newydd a bwysig.
En: This research was necessary in order to present their new and important findings.

Cy: "Bydd yn rhaid i ni drwsio'r system pŵer yn llaw," atebodd Rhys, gan wybod y risgiau.
En: "We'll have to fix the power system manually," replied Rhys, aware of the risks.

Cy: Roedd Gareth, y technegydd tawel a chyfrifol, yng nghefn y ystafell, hefyd yn awyddus i helpu.
En: Gareth, the quiet and responsible technician, was at the back of the room, eager to help as well.

Cy: Cydsyniodd Gareth, "Gallwn ni ei wneud gyda'n gilydd.
En: Gareth agreed, "We can do it together."

Cy: "Roeddent yn gwybod ei fod yn beryglus, ond roedd y tîm yn cyd-gysylltu'n hyderus yn erbyn yr her.
En: They knew it was dangerous, but the team confidently coordinated against the challenge.

Cy: Yn y tywyllwch llonyddu, aeth Rhys a Gareth at y tŵr trydan, tra bod Cerys yn paratoi'r system cyfrifiadurol.
En: In the calming darkness, Rhys and Gareth approached the power tower, while Cerys prepared the computer system.
