A
Jesse, what are you doing? Clear as a bell.
B
Wait, I'm gagged. My team actually is the hottest team in a couple days.
A
One more day, somebody's gonna get cussed out by somebody.
B
Journey.
A
Welcome to your favorite podcast. It's full coverage with your host, Laura
B
Lee and Manny Mua.
A
Hey, guys. We are in my beauty room today because our. By the way, our podcast space is getting demolished right now and honey. Revamped. And every episode, the top comment is like, I really don't like this room you're filming in. Go back to Laura's house. And we're like, you guys.
B
We are. Because the thing is, as you guys know, we. We have been. I feel we've said so many times this is super temporary. We just had to get into a new space because we were moving out of the last one. Like, we were like.
A
But if there's ever one episode, we don't bring it up. They're like, I just want to remind you, we hate it.
B
Hate it.
A
We hate the room.
B
I was like, guys, we know, but honestly, I'm so excited to see how it's going to. And I think we're going to get into it, like, pretty soon. In the next, like, couple of weeks. Yeah.
A
Or so. So you'll be seeing the new room very, very soon.
B
I'm so excited. I'm so, so, so excited. It's going to be so freaking amazing. And it's going to be like a nice revamp. I bought an eyeliner yesterday, by the way, and it was a cheapest fuck. It was from the dollar store. And I have literally taken two showers by now. And I saw residual and I wiped.
A
You know, as I know that that's a chemical that's going to rot your eyeball off that. I want it. I want it. I want that.
B
You know, I have a $25.
A
I have a real leaky eye, and I want it.
B
You know, she. She needs this.
A
I need that.
B
She needs this fucking demon. But say, you guys, we want to just do like a. A fun little mini rapid fire. But it's more so about, like, Mormon wives. I feel like we had been. We had filmed a while ago, and then, like, literally two days after we filmed, like, Pandemonium broke. And this is a show that we watch, like, actually religiously, so we're like, no, no, no, no. We're not moving past this. We need to have our conversation and timelines, facts and proof allegedly of the show.
A
Also, so much has developed, like, since the Taylor Frankie Paul situation happened. So many little nuances and pieces of. Has developed. So we just want to put it all together. We want to wrap it up in a bow, and we want to talk about it with you guys. But first, peaks and pits.
B
Okay, what is your. Did you hear that correct? Okay, what is your peak or pit? First?
A
I'll start with two peaks. So first peak is. I actually officially got rid of my perioral dermatitis a couple weeks ago.
B
It's gone.
A
It's gone. It's done.
B
It worked.
A
The thing. I got on antibiotics. So so many people told me. They're like, laura, just get on antibiotics, which get. Guess what, guys, I can't prescribe myself. Film it just. But I saw two different dermatologists. They both gave me two different creams, and the creams worked, but they weren't cures. They were just, like band aids to put over it. So I saw. So I. I was seeing an esthetician, and she was like, we have someone that can write prescriptions. Nurse practitioner, and she deals with perioral dermatitis patients a lot, and she'll give you. She said, if you've had it this long. So I saw her, and she was like, if you've had it for over a year, my God, you should have been on antibiotics. It'll get rid of it in no time. So I did a low dose of doxycycline, and it has been gone. And nothing that irritates it has been able to bring it back.
B
No.
A
So even a pizza, red sauce can't bring it back. Tomatoes can't bring it back. Heated rooms can't bring it back. Sweat, I can put on makeup for 12 hours. Nothing will bring it back.
B
You're not getting any of that.
A
Nothing. Clear as a bell.
B
Wait, I'm gagged.
A
I am like, you guys don't even know how happy I am because I have finally found peace in my life. So I just had. Because I talked about Perry or on this podcast. So I had to wrap up the case. The case.
B
The case is closed.
A
And, you know, I think some people have, like, mild cases of it where they can do, like, the diaper rash cream and, like, all the little concoctions that people do. I do think that that works, and you should try it if you have it, because I tried everything before the antibiotics just because I went to the doctor.
B
And you also, like, usually don't want. And also, you, like, don't really want to be on and. And not why I was going to say antidepressants. You don't want to be on like, doxy for, like, a long amount of time. It's bad for, like, your gut. So, like, I understand not wanting to just even take them because it's just like, I wanted to, but it's like,
A
I wanted to, like, give it to me. I actually asked the dermatologist the second time I went, really? Yes. I said, can you please? Everybody said, just get on antibiotic. And she was like, no. And I was like, oh, my God.
B
Yeah, guys, we need it. We. We do need it. So what do you think it is? It's just, like, a skin rash or is it something inside? Like, it's an internal thing that you have to just get rid of. I don't. Like, how does it even work?
A
I don't know. Because mine would flare up the worst when I ate red sauce. So definitely some internal business going on there. But at the same time, make it would piss it off more than anything. So it's just like, a little bit of both. I do know all of my workout girlies that sweat a lot have a
B
case of it, really.
A
So I think it provokes it, but I just think it's something you got to get to go away, and then it'll go away for good. But it was one of the most annoying things because it's on your face.
B
I know. No, I know. And then the photos. When you said the other ones, you guys, I gotten photos from Lauren. She's like, just a red sauce, and they were shocking. Like, they just like. And it looked painful. It didn't look like. It was just, like, annoying and ugly.
A
It was like. It was like, Bernie, you know, like, raw, burny skin. That's what it feel like. And then, because I would have a full red mustache, like, if I went out, I'd had to put a little concealer on it, which would then irritate it. Yeah, you guys, if you've had it, it is the devil. Okay, that was different. The flake was my molasses. Gone.
B
That's sick. I love that it's gone.
A
And not a day goes by where I just take it for granted. Every day I wash my face, and
B
I'm like, you look at yourself in the mirror, like, thank you so much.
A
Yes. I'm so happy. And then my second peak is that McDonald's has grape jelly again.
B
So was that not, like, what happened? Grape jelly being a second peak is just so crazy, you guys. I was talking to Laura earlier. She goes, one of my peaks. McDonald's. I'm like, K Pop demon hunters collab.
A
I was like, no. No. Okay, so I love a little McDonald's sausage biscuit.
B
Oh, do you ever McGriddles for me? I'm a McGriddler. I, I, I used to have, like, the biscuits back in the day, but then once I discovered the McGriddles.
A
You didn't go back.
B
I cannot go back.
A
I don't put jelly on my McGriddles. Do you put jelly on my.
B
No, no. That's just as is.
A
Because it's syrup in it. Yeah, they're too sweet. But like a buttery biscuit, you want a little jelly?
B
You need something. You want a little jelly.
A
So sorry, you guys, I have a cough. We'll get into that later. That's coming out. Literally. Literally. But I would order a little saucy biscuit, and I want grape jelly, but they never have. They only give me strawberry and strawberry. And strawberry jelly is fine. It's fine.
B
Like, that's so funny. Like, I honestly would not tell the difference in the middle of eating that. I would not be able to tell the difference.
A
I want grape jelly.
B
That's so funny, because even, like, the crustables. Uncrustables, because there's, like, a grape jelly and there's a strawberry. I'm just like, give me either.
A
Like, I'll eat either. I don't care.
B
But, like, but you can tell the McDonald's one.
A
I just want a grape jelly. Yeah, you know what? If, like, we're. We're doing something, I get strawberry. I don't care. I'll eat it. But I just want a grape. So it's been years. And then the other day I order McDonald's sausage biscuit, and I, like, asked for a pack of jelly, and they threw in a grape jelly. And I said, did you even say
B
you're like, oh, I want jelly? And they just threw in.
A
Huh.
B
You didn't have to even say, I want grape jelly.
A
And I threw in both.
B
Wow.
A
I freaked out.
B
So then you're like, oh, so you're back. Oh.
A
So I was like, oh, my God. So you guys have grape jelly again? Because I would ask you a great jelly, but we only have strawberry now. And I'm like, why? I feel like grapes are more popular flavor. Am I crazy?
B
Strawberries are more popular flavor.
A
Oh, maybe in the South.
B
Not McDonald's. I mean, just, like, in general, like, overarching. I think, like, strawberry is, like, a more popular flavor.
A
J is a grape juice jelly. Who the.
B
I thought that was strawberry. No, peanut butter and jelly.
A
You're getting grape on it. It's purple, not red, Laura.
B
I've always had red. See, that's my whole life. I've had strawberry jelly.
A
Wrong with you. That's what's wrong with you. I love grape.
B
That so funny. I did not know that.
A
I like both, to be honest.
B
Yeah, me too.
A
I mean, they're very, very, very similar. Just give me the grape jelly.
B
Yeah. Honestly, my peak just started. The new league. New team. New league. Not new league, sorry. New season of the league. And this is a longer season. It's actually eight weeks instead of just five. Like last time where it was like a shorter season. And this time I'm on an established team. I've talked about it a little bit before and we just had our first game on Sunday and we won. And honestly this like, this team talent wise is just like, oh. Because they've played with each other for so long. And so the outside was actually like, he was just out of town. And so they actually asked me to fill outside. I ate and do. What's so funny?
A
What's the outside?
B
Outside is like a front row and back row player. So it's kind of like you get both and you're a pin hitter, so you're on the sides. There's a outside, middle and opposite. That's like at the three. The front and then there's three in the back. Just in general.
A
Six total.
B
Six total. But there's two outsides in a court at a time. Always just rotating like this. It's like an all around player. So I played it, we won. And I was doing really good. And I found out that a teammate actually records the whole game, right? He's like, literally, like, apparently like he set up a camera. It's wearing a microphone. Oh, a mini microphone. And put it on two teammates. Our captain and then Ernesto, he put it on. And so literally he sent all the footage over. He does an unlisted YouTube link. Okay. Sent it all over. And it's literally the funniest shit to watch back. Because we watch the entire game and it's commentary. It's like, hey guys, we're fucking here. We're back at our new season. But it's like anything that something bad happens and he's like. And you would hear them be like, it's okay, guys, it's all good, it's all good. So it's a really funny thing to watch back. And also when I see the recording of myself playing one, I'm like cringed out. Part of me, there's. There's always gonna be Part of me, like, there's just something about it.
A
It is. It's horrible.
B
It also helps me in the way it was like, oh, Like, I wasn't doing that then. Like, I should actually been, like, lower and, like, covering better. So in a way, I feel like it's actually better for your playstyle. And I think that's like, what they do in real sports. Like, they record games and then they, like, play it back. Like, the coaches will play it back. Like, hey, look what you flopped.
A
Yeah.
B
So I feel like watching it. It was supposed to be, like, for fun, but I'm watching it like,
A
well, I.
B
Am I there? Okay, great. But I was really glad to, like, join because I was really scared. Really nice. I wasn't texting her before. I was like, yo, I'm, like, kind of nervous because I'm joining this new team or like a team that's already established and they poached me. So I feel like I have to, like, perform. I have to show out because I'm like, you literally, literally asked me to be on the team. But one of the. Okay, another gag that's like, kind of cool is like, I'm actually going on a date with not a teammate. It was someone on the opposite team that we played against.
A
Okay. I'm like, damn, you're already hooking up with the damn team.
B
No, not on my team. No, no, we don't play. But I Honestly, you guys, okay, My team actually is the hottest team in the league. And I'm not even playing. And I'm not even playing. I'm not being facetious. Like, they are literally. I add to it. Yeah, I do add to the vibe for sure. But they are just a hot ass. Like, they're like a hot guys.
A
You guys are definitely Global Jam.
B
Hmm.
A
You're Global Jam.
B
What the hell is Global Gym? Okay, that's literally. Yeah, so the thing is, everyone has chance, I guess, because they are. Again, they're already established. So they have a chant per person. So when they. I don't have one yet because, like, they're like, I'm just so new. So it's per person. So, like, for example, like, one will have this chant. One will have this chant and every time they get a point and it's their chant. So now they're like, I'm hearing it on the thing because I'm obviously not knowing it's happening because I'm playing the game. But I can now I can hear with the mics and watching it back, they're like, oh, fuck. We need a Manny chant.
A
God damn it.
B
And it's so cute watching it back. So I'm, like, really excited to be on this team, and I'm really, really just happy in general being on it. And we went out on the night before for, like, the pre the season kickoff. It was like a little event. I went for, like an hour, and it was just nice to get to, like, hang out with, like, the team, getting to know them and just, like, build camaraderie in a different way.
A
So, so much fun.
B
Really exciting. But yeah, I'm going on a date, like, in two days.
A
I love that the.
B
Literally someone that was on the team that we played against, I felt very heated rivalry. Very heated rivalry dog.
A
He's a traitor. I love that. That was so good.
B
So I'm excited.
A
Well, my pizz that I have the congestion. So me and Minnie have done the math, we've done the science, we've gotten in the labs, and we've come to realize that this sickness is not sinuses. It's a virus and it's contagious. So all of you, look out. So our friend Z got it, and then he text us. He's like, I'm just going to let you know we just hung out, but I'm sick today. So then shortly after, a couple of days later, Manny got sick. Y' all remember we were filming the podcast episodes. He was sick.
B
I was like, guys, I have really just bad sinuses right now. Because the thing is, it's not normal. No, it wasn't a normal. It wasn't a normal sick.
A
And you're not like, down like, like with the flu or something. It's like you just have low energy for a few days. But, like, all my snot is clear. Tmi. Tmi.
B
Yeah.
A
But, you know, it's not like an infection.
B
That's why you think it's, like, actually an allergy.
A
It's very allergy behavior. So then a few days later, I got it. A few days later, Tyler got it. My trainers got like, everybody has gotten it. That I know. So I think it's very much virus, but I have it. So if my voice sounds weird, if you hear me coughing, I got it.
B
It's like a chest thing. It really is, like, because I. That's why I had thought for so long that was allergies. I'm like, guys, I'm just congested, but I don't have, like, a fever. I don't have body aches. I don't have chills. I don't have Headaches, Like, I don't have anything. But we were, like, looking into it because actually, a lot of our other friends that are not just in our friend group, like, had gotten sick too, and they were like, no, no. Like, there's definitely, like, something going around right now. And, like, it's contagious.
A
It's contagious. But you know what? It sucks because it lingers.
B
And the chest of always lingers.
A
I was. Oh, it does always. I was literally just finished one of my heated classes, and at the end, you know, it's quiet. It's like E time. It's like silence. They're like, very.
B
Yes. The very pun.
A
When I tell you the coughing attack I had, she stopped. She goes, laura, are you okay?
B
In the middle of the class, I
A
was like this, trying to hold it in. I was like, I'm okay.
B
Wait, Laura. I can literally see it because I literally done that where I'm like, look at that skit, that hot dog skit.
A
On Medley's joke on the hot dog. He's like, no, I'm not joking. I'm okay. I was. Please stop. I was like, in the fucking class. In the fucking class. I'm going to die.
B
The fact that the teacher's like, laura, you good over there?
A
Because it was like, 20. Like, I was, like, coughing and choking to death. And she's trying to tell these fucking
B
people to be calm.
A
Yes. And I'm like. She's like, get out.
B
Laura's in the fucking corner, like. And everyone's like this.
A
I was trying to drink water and everything, y'. All. Nothing was helping. I was like, oh, Lord, I'm about to walk up out of here. It was so embarrassing.
B
Did you end up walking out or did you stay?
A
I just stay.
B
Yeah. You're like, everyone, you know what?
A
Hey, everyone else.
B
I paid to be here.
A
I'm gonna get my time.
B

B
dude, that is honestly horrific to just cough and have an attack in the middle of a class. Because in quiet time, in quiet time like okay, why don't you just kill me?
A
Normally the music's booming so I can get a little, I get a little cough here, there I could get a little and then keep going like don't know. I had to know. And by the way, the whole time I'm thinking this is sinuses and I quit classes for four days straight whenever I got six. I I didn't want to pass it to anybody or anything like that.
B
Then you know, you're like, gosh, yeah, really a thing.
A
Yes, exactly. But like, after the math, after it was like, done and said and done with, I went back to class and I'm just. I'm still coughing. I mean, it's been over a week.
B
There's no, like, I don't. And the thing is, like, you cannot be contagious and you can just have a cough. Like, that's just kind of how it is. And I think that's. That's like, the last of it to leave it is because I think you're only viral in that, like, period for the. The main symptoms in the beginning, and then it goes away, but the cough will just stay. Because the thing is, like, when you have deep congestion, you just will keep coughing of, like, flaming for weeks.
A
It's so annoying.
B
I've had it for what, like, three weeks maybe. Like, I've been coughing. So luckily now I'm at my least, like, coffee is.
A
Yeah.
B
But it's been like three weeks.
A
Very annoying. What's your pit?
B
My pit. Okay. So I went to San Diego recently to visit my mom for her, like, birthday. And it was super, super cute. And the last day, I don't know what it was, I was leaving. And I felt so sad leaving them that I ended up starting to cry on my way home. It was so strange because it was just like, such a nice weekend and it was so nice hanging out with them. And the last night, like, before I left, we had went to Aaron's place because he got a new place with his, like, roommates. And it's like, a really cute place. And we're just like, sitting. We were eating and sitting by the fire, just me, Aaron, my. My other Nick, and then my mom and my dad. And then because it was my mom's birthday, we're sleeping. She was like, for my birthday, I would love for us to, like, share, like, two things we're grateful for this year.
A
So.
B
And so we did, like, this little, like, cutesy, like, Kumbaya, Kumbaya vibes, like, just saying what we're grateful for. And of course, like, my mom got emotional, so that made me emotional. So then when I was leaving, I just felt like I felt so happy that weekend with them that it made me sad, like, to leave them because I was like, oh, I had such a good time. And sometimes I feel like when I'm out here, I don't feel. It's not that I feel, like, alone because I know I have. I have such a great, like, system around me, obviously, with you guys and my chosen family. But it's like there's something about when I just go back to my house alone. I love. I do love, mind you. I love living alone. But there's something about, like, when you have, like, your unit.
A
Yeah.
B
That's not here.
A
Right.
B
And you can, like, rely on them and like, a way in different ways. And, like, they have all each other. They have them for down in San Diego and Chula Vista. And it's just me up here. So sometimes I feel like, that kind of loneliness where it's like, I don't have my family here.
A
Yeah.
B
So that, like, I was driving home and it just made me sad and I was starting to cry. But, you know, I feel like it makes the times we are together better.
A
Maybe you should spend more time with them. Like, try to go back a little more. Your heart is yearning for a little more of that family connection. And we're getting older, so maybe that's what it is too.
B
It's like, like when you're older.
A
Yeah.
B
And the thing is, like, also, like, because I'm not there for a copious amounts of time, I'm not even getting enough. There's not enough time for me to get annoyed.
A
Yeah.
B
Does that make sense?
A
Yeah.
B
Where it's like, you have that, like.
A
Yeah.
B
If I'm there for two days.
A
Where it's just. Goodness, it's just good old time. But, baby, day three, day four, I'm like, somebody's about to get cussed out.
B
Like, it's just. Like, it's not enough time. And the thing is, because I don't live there, so it's more. So just like, it's nice to just go in, visit and then just book.
A
That's how we're with our family. Beach trip. Like.
B
Yes.
A
At the end of it, it's like, perfect. It's perfect because we all still love each other.
B
Yeah.
A
But one couple days more day's gonna get cussed out by somebody. Like, somebody's gonna crack. You know what I mean? We always plan it out the perfect amount of time. But that is so nice. You'll have to go back more weekend, you know.
B
Totally. They're gonna come up on Sunday. We're like a little birthday dinner or
A
something cute on Sunday.
B
So we're just like a cute little, like, just chill. They always want to, like, do something.
A
Yeah.
B
Birthday. Which is nice because we all, like, try. I don't know yet, because we've been, like, planning for the actual day, like, with our own Group. So then I was like, oh, the next day we can do something. But it's actually Easter.
A
Do you guys celebrate Easter?
B
Yeah, I think they. They definitely do more. Yeah, mommies definitely do. But they definitely would be celebrating more for sure. Like going to church and stuff like that. But they're gonna come up and hang out.
A
It was so interesting about Easter because back whenever I lived in Alabama, I didn't always go to church religiously, but I did when I was young. And I remember Easter Sunday morning, the church blown out. Why is that?
B
They. I don't know. For some reason, they want to go during Easter Sunday.
A
Like, I don't know what it is, baby. Once a year, that's the day. But why? I don't know what it is. I know what it symbolizes. But so does Christmas symbolize, you know, the birth and all that? So there's a lot of symbolic things that has to do with.
B
Then why not go with the rest of it?
A
Yeah, that's what I'm saying. I ain't trying to judge nobody listening.
B
No, no. I'm just. It's more so just like a curiosity because I. I wonder the same thing.
A
Because it is always open the damn doors out.
B
Oh, on. On Easter Sunday. I was almost gonna say Christmas because also. Because Christmas time is busy as well.
A
Is it? Is.
B
It must be during Christmasy time. It is also busy. But, baby, Easter, it's a whole different breed. It is. It is lit for the Lord. Lit for the Lord.
A
Lit for the Lord. Praise Lord.
B
We are lit for the Lord. That is very righteous gemstones. We are lit.
A
I want to go to a righteous gemstones church just to see. Just to see.
B
I would like to also see. I want to see a megachurch of 5,000 people in a room.
A
All I know is that a mega church. The whole entire sermon is going to be tithing. Tithing, Tithing.
B
Is that what it. Is that what it's about? Tithing Today, tomorrow, and next week. Next week?
A
Next week, baby. Yeah, y' all sign them bank accounts up. We gotta get a new Gucci outfit. St
B
like that is like, I'm in last season Gucci.
A
I need y' all to tie. This is for the Lord. And keep the homeless out. Yep, that's what this is about.
B
It's so crazy. Like, that's like a lot of the mega churches are just like, money making.
A
It's a money making business. It's tax free, baby. Tax free. Tax free. Money making, honey. T, for the Lord.
B
You gotta tithe.
A
But that's not all churches. We got churches. But a lot of churches are that are not megachurches, too. So I'm not gonna sit here and even give them credit, too.
B
Every. I think, like, any, like, Christian church does tithing. Like, that's just like a. Around the board. Yeah, that's how they run.
A
That's.
B
That's how they keep going.
A
Yeah, keep going. You know, they do good things, too, but for sure.
B
For sure.
A
Okay. Shall we?
B
We shall. Let's get into Mormon wives. Mormon lives. It's Mormon lives, baby.
A
I'm saying Utah's a train wreck.
B
Let me tell you something. Hey, hey. Who you tell. Let me tell you something right now. Who the Are you telling as a girly who grew up lds? Because the thing is, it's not even just. It's not even just about the fact that it's like, lds Mormon. It's the fact it's. The. Utah is a state. There's just a lot of spook, I fear. Yeah, there's a lot of spook. Yeah, there's a lot going on in Utah and there's a lot of, like.
A
I know the Mormons love it, though. I know the Mormons are like. The church is like, Yes, I bet
B
you anything the church is literally like, we hate the show.
A
I know. I know. That's what I know. The church is pissed. I know they're pissed.
B
Cuz like, it. Like, let me tell you something. It doesn't make them look good.
A
And also the Real Housewives of Salt Lake, baby. It's a disaster.
B
It's a disaster.
A
I mean. So I think we'll start with Taylor, Frankie Paul, because that news broke as we knew that her new season of Bachelor. Well, first of all, we saw the full season of more and why season four came out if you didn't see it. Honestly, to be honest, it is a lot more of the same to me.
B
It's very similar to the season three, but, like, there's more crazy, like, nuances to different situations. But there. It's very similar.
A
Like you said, same kind of problems. Maybe a little less Demi problems. I don't even know why Demi's on the show, but very. That. Okay, so then that ends. But it ends with Taylor going literally getting off the plane and Dakota begging her not to do Bachelorette because he's a psychopath, and then she ends up going to do it anyway. So that's how the season ends.
B
Okay, so then Samuel Rose.
A
I want to stab him in the eye with. Oh, with this pin. She got in trouble for domestic violence.
B
I want to.
A
Oh, not too much. They're gonna cancel my Bachelor.
B
No, seriously, like, they. Them, too. Really enraged me this season. I do fear, but, you know, like, beyond, like, in, like, a whole different world. But I did feel like, okay, she's making strides. She's gonna go on the bachelorrette. She's gonna do something. She's gonna change her ways. What? Drops the video.
A
Video.
B
Oh, that video was.
A
Okay, so there was a assault incident with Taylor against Dakota, and we all knew about it. She talked. They pulled up so many podcast. Podcast clips with her talking about it, the chair situation, chair situate. Talk about everything she did, admitting all of it, saying she was completely. I mean, just completely coming clean multiple times on podcast. But it wasn't until a couple days before her season of Bachelorette premiered that TMZ drops the video footage of Dakota filming it.
B
Girl.
A
So that was a shocker. I always think it's so interesting how TV networks, brands, everyone, and everyone is always okay with what happened, but they're not okay if people saw what happened.
B
Correct.
A
So that's always interesting to me.
B
That's just 100%. Well, the thing is, because, like, at the end of the day, it's like, okay, well, she owned it. She apologized. She's, like, moving forward from it. It was three years ago, but so then the network is thinking, like, okay, well, she's moved past it. She's moving forward. Like, that's what we're gonna have to go with. The fact that the video came out is where they're like, well, fuck us like this. It just got to. Because the thing is, you can hear about something. You can be like, okay. She can be apologetic, and you can hear about a situation. Seeing the situation is not gonna be the same as hearing about the situation, because when you watch the video, it's, like, more almost brutal than you would think it would have been.
A
Even though she described everything perfectly, even with her child. Was that, like, the whole thing?
B
Yes, she definitely was seeing it.
A
It's like, damn, it's hard.
B
It's hard to watch. It's an uncomfortable. It's like an uncomfortable video to watch. Like, truly. But the video ended up coming out. The video. The. And the show was canceled, like, kind of like right then and there. Like, it was very short after that, maybe the next day.
A
No, it was two hours.
B
Two hours.
A
It was two hours, girl.
B
That's how. That's how fierce the video is. If you guys have not seen it, the video is.
A
They're, like, intense.
B
They're like, this Is. Well, the thing is, at that point, when you see that, it's almost like, unerable. Like, you can't, like, have someone do that and then like, them also, like, be in trouble with the law years ago from that situation and then be like, let's just hear it.
A
Bachelor. They're.
B
It's abc.
A
Should have aired that. I know it's abc. It's abc. And then Disney's air trunks, they own.
B
They are like PC Nation, baby.
A
They're PC Nation. But they got these More that girl, please, so fucking for real with me right now. Please get real. This is my courtroom.
B
Hear ye. This is just Judy over here. We have Judy. No, I. I could not. Where's your gavel?
A
Where's the gavel?
B
No, but it ended up being, like, such a crazy situation. And then, like, obviously it came out. Like, kind of not came out, but people really were speculating that Dakota himself was the one that, like, leaked the video.
A
I think. I personally think Dakota.
B
I personally think he did.
A
And I don't even think proof from TMZ will make me believe otherwise.
B
Same. There's not actually. There is nothing in this world that will not. That would make me think that he didn't purposefully drop the video or leak the video or get the video out there because of how it transpired for it to be coming out days before the Bachelorette. For him at the end of the season to be like, you know, like, save a rose for me. Like, he knows that there is this, like, vicious cycle and he's in the cycle. Like, he knows that them two are very, very toxic for each other and that. And so does she. Like, they both actually know, which is why it's almost frustrating to watch because you're like, you guys. Like, you both get what is happening. Like, you're not dumb. Like, you're actually not dumb. You actually are understanding what's going on and you're still doing it, which is almost like, why it's like, stop.
A
It's hard to watch.
B
It's hard to watch. It's almost unwatchable. Like, seriously, there's moments where I'm like, this shows unwatchable for me.
A
Yeah.
B
So then that ended up breaking. The show got canceled, and a lot
A
of it broke the Internet, truly, because they cancel the show so fast. So there's a lot of this and that. A lot of tit for tat. A lot of speculation as to how it got leaked. I personally think Dakota. I think majority of the Internet thinks Dakota. And then I even said on my instagram Sodi. Sodi. My Instagram story that I think Dakota is like Stephen DeMarco off of Tell me Lies. So in Tell me lies, Stephen DeMarco, he is, like, one of the most toxic, most. He's hard to watch on the show and made his character so horrible. But.
B
And he's fake, so imagine a real one.
A
And he's real. He's alive today. The devil is alive today. So he takes things from relationships, and he holds them over people as blackmail.
B
Also. Jordan.
A
Right. Exactly. Exactly. Well, they're best friends.
B
Yeah.
A
They deserve their best friends. So. So that's kind of what he does. So that's why I put that. Because I'm like. And people were like, well, Taylor's crazy, too. And I'm like, yeah, we know that everybody and their mom's talking about Taylor. I'm talking about Dakota. And I can talk about Dakota if I want to because he's in the situation too, and he's just as terrible. So if I want to say something about Dakota, I can do that.
B
Also, watching the show, like, literally fuck Dakota. Like, honestly, like, watch the show, you're like, no. Like, you are fudgeing crazy. And then the girls, like, the cast members, they really help tie in the story of, like, no. He's trying to date Miranda's bestie to piss off Jay. Like, he does these manipulative things, and they might look innocent because he tries to come across. Like, I didn't even.
A
He doesn't come across innocent at all.
B
He, like, he tries to. That's the thing. He tries to be so, like. I don't know what you guys mean. Like, I. I never would have thought it got that far.
A
He knows what he does. But the problem with Taylor is she lets it work every single time. She gets baited, and he's done it a million times. So it's like, Taylor, at what point would you cut the cord? Cut the cord from this? Like, we've seen this a million times. You've treated every person in your life like shit for Dakota. You've argued with everybody in your life. At what point would you not see this vicious cycle? So at any point that Taylor breaks up with Dakota and gets away from him, he sleeps with all her friends. They'll start hooking up with her friends because it triggers her and it gets her going again and gets her to come back, which is crazy.
B
It's crazy.
A
Like, get further away from him. I did notice this little blip, which they did a flashback to this season that Taylor admitting she had a Band Aid baby with Dakota admitting that the baby they had was a bandage. Because when Jen and Zach were going. Whenever Jen was trying to get rid of Zach.
B
Yeah.
A
Which still needs to happen.
B
Yeah.
A
Zach is so disgusting to me.
B
Same.
A
So whenever Jim was trying to get rid of Zach, what do you do? Get her pregnant again. So all the girls were like rolling their eyes whenever they found out the news. And they all go, a band Aid baby. And. And Taylor goes, trust me, it doesn't fix anything. Basically saying her and Dakota had a band.
B
That was her.
A
Like, she basically her nod to Dakota. Yeah. So they have a band Aid baby together, essentially. And I hate that for her because she's never gonna. He's gonna be a part of her life forever.
B
It's so unfortunate. Like, it really is. At least. So the baby's 18 decisions.
A
You. You make these lifelong decisions and you have to pay. Not. Not that the baby is the consequence, but dealing with Dakota is the consequence for your Dakota, which. For your decision for life.
B
And the thing is, especially when you let him. I feel like in a way, like he really controls her emotions in a way he does. And she, like, tries to get out of it. Tries to. Like she. But it gets right back in. And it's like, unless you become controlling of your own emotions, it'll just continue to be the exact same thing. Because once you can control your emotions or how you feel about a situation, they can't control you anymore. Like, you're not going to be the person that's being like, oh, well, like, you know, like, I have to go back because, like, he made me. It's like, no, no, no, you made you.
A
You made you.
B
You made you go back.
A
Especially after all this. Like, they can't watch the show, like, for real. So all of that broke. I mean, the Internet went crazy. And then he felt a restraining order, which I don't think he got. I don't think the judge passed the restraining order. But then he filed for full custody of the child, which I think he did get.
B
He did get.
A
So that was granted. That's really unfortunate.
B
Do you think that, like the video came out and then he filed or
A
he filed, which is crazy, by the way, because the video is three years old. So the video came out. I think it was like, same time. I think him and Jordan, like plan
B
all these things, you know, I think that they deliver. Like, I think that Dakota and Jordan.
A
Yeah.
B
Deliberately try to ruin the girls house.
A
They do. They. Absolutely. I genuinely think that because they. They can't have their cake and eat it too. And he's like, oh, she's going to get to go do this TV show. She's going to be. What about that time? If I ever heard the word dad, I'll kill myself. Yeah.
B
Because the fact that Jordan goes, well, we can do like dad talk too. And you know, like, we're just like, we're not riding off the coattails of mom talk.
A
That is, that's literally what you're doing, babe. That is the people only care about
B
you in any semblance of way because of the girls.
A
And that's not clocking to them. I have come to realize that like the Mormon men in Utah are like the worst men alive. Some of the worst men alive. That's what I've come to the consensus. That's what the show.
B
That's what it's come to realize because
A
there's no particular husband on the show. Everybody's like, I love Connor, I love Connor. But there was like a Tinder scandal. I mean, you know what I'm saying? I'm like, it's just like a disaster altogether. So all around the consensus is fucking train wreck.
B
Wreck. At least with Connor, he like tries to help with the kids. Like, he is a stay at home dad that tries to be a good.
A
I feel like Connor, compared to the other bitches, I do feel like he was a little iced out of the man group 100%. I feel like he was.
B
The guys are like, exactly. You could tell.
A
And that's why I feel like he minds his business was kids. Not because of like a wholeheartedness. I feel like he's just not included in with the guys. I feel like if they would have included him and would have treated him like one of the bros, he'd be right there in there with the mix. But I can't say I shouldn't say that because I. It's like that didn't happen. So we don't know, but.
B
Right.
A
It's just.
B
He didn't go on the trip to Italy.
A
Yeah. But she's like on Broadway.
B
Yeah.
A
She was doing Dancing with the Stars. They have three kids and a newborn. Like, I don't even think that was an option for him. I don't think he's Mr. Perfect. I think we're comparing him to the worst pieces on earth are so great.
B
I'm like, when you have death, death, death. You're like, oh, oh, yes, yes.
A
You're literally like, he's not so bad.
B
Yes. Compared to demons.
A
And just. And just to sidetrack, I Just want to say this. Whitney was the villain of season one. That's undeniable. I actually didn't like Whitney season either. She was like, her storyline was horrible, and the way she reacted Season three
B
was also kind of rough. Like, there was a lot of roughness and a lot of her for her.
A
But I will say Whitney is one of my favorite cast. She's like, one of my favorite.
B
I need her, actually. I need her on the show.
A
I know I want her on the show the most. She has impressed me with how talented she is, how she's held it all together. I love Whitney, really.
B
I literally. She's one of my favorites.
A
Like that, like this.
B
But also, you know what? It is, too, when you. Okay, like, I think that she. Like I said, I feel like she watched the show and you become, like, more introspective.
A
Yeah.
B
I think in a way.
A
Yeah.
B
You watch it and you're like, okay, that went so south. And I handled that completely horrifically. So I think that when you see that you actually do learn, it's like, I was just saying, like, I feel like when you watch yourself play, you learn things you are. That you could do better.
A
Quickly.
B
Quickly. You learn quickly. And I feel like that is that kind of situation where it's like. Because you get more pictures when you're watching the show back because you're like, how other people felt about your situation or like, how other people felt how you treated them, and you're like, oh, I had no idea.
A
Yeah.
B
So then you almost become more introspective, more empathetic in ways, and I feel like that's really helped her to be a little bit more, like, aware.
A
I like her a lot. I like Whitney a lot. I love watching her journey now. I love all of it. So good. Good for Whitney. Okay, so that happened. And then amidst of all this happened, literally next week, days later, days later, Jesse and Jordan announced, well, they're filing for divorce.
B
But I think it was actually like a day after the file for the divorce. It's almost like they try to slip it in amongst Taylor's buffoonery.
A
Buffoonery.
B
Yes.
A
So.
B
And it was Jordan that filed.
A
It was Jordan that filed because Jesse told Jordan she wants the divorce. Like, she was like, I thought about this for four years straight.
B
We got it.
A
I wanted to get a divorce. So he thought she was going to be the first one to run. And so their original plan was that. That he didn't want the divorce. He tried to convince her to stay, but then he was like, okay, you Want a divorce. Let's, you know, do the press together. Like, let's do it together.
B
Tell the kids.
A
Together, together. We'll tell the press together. Like, we are divorcing together. But he went behind her back and he went to TMZ and he spilled the news before they told family, friends, kids, anybody. He went so he could get his version of the story out there first. And then he also, I think, try to file for a restraining order, which was denied because he's a fucking idiot.
B
Yep. And basically it was like, I feel like it was his way to try to be like, you can't talk about me in podcasts, because I, of course, watch Caller Daddy's episode.
A
And epic.
B
Incredible, by the way.
A
Jesse, like, tells the whole story without a like and. Or a breath. She's like.
B
She's so well spoken when he watches.
A
She's like, yeah, she read. She just so good up and down. She really did a really incredible interview, and she really airs him out. But Jordan tried to get in the legal paperwork that she cannot talk about him, she cannot expose him, and she cannot go on any podcast. But it didn't work.
B
Thank God. Thank God. Like, and I like that she ended up coming out and started to air him out on the podcast with Alex. And she started to really say, like, you know, like, she talked about escort situation, talked about potential orgy party situations. And it's like, the escort situation actually happened before they even started filming season one.
A
So that's even crazy.
B
I was like, oh, my God. This happened before even started filming. And she was saying that there's, like, proof of it because the escort service, like, someone that, like, worked there reached out to her, was like, no, he's like, he was escorting, text message, phone number.
A
She. He was at work in Texas. She was saying, no one else would have known that this time. And he's number.
B
No one known his number.
A
She was. He was trying to set up hotel rooms in Texas while I was out there for an escort service. So allegedly, he had kind of cheated on her to begin with. And that's where a lot of his, like, like, craziness came from.
B
You know, I just find it crazy that that ended up happening, you know, right before the show started even filming. Like, all that happened, all that transpired. And I just like that Jesse really gave out almost like a timeline. She, like, I feel like when she talked about it on the podcast, she really kind of gave context to the situation and really was like, okay, this is like, what's happening? This is what's Going on and how it, like, transpired and, you know, where they want to go. And it's just. It's. It's so sad because I always think about, like, now watching the show and thinking about it, I'm like, dude, like, there's a lot of, like, children involved, and then, like, they're gonna grow up to see, like, these situations, this war happening between their parents. And, like, listen, like, of course kids, like, deal with divorces in real life, and, like, obviously that's, like, real life, like, that does happen. Totally. But there's something about it being aired on tv, which I feel like, just makes it hard.
A
That. That part does make.
B
I think about that.
A
I mean, listen, I think. I think the thing is, like, if I saw my mom saying the things about my dad that she said about Jordan, I wouldn't want anything to do with my dad. Oh, that's the thing. So it's a hard on the kids.
B
Sure.
A
But at the same time, I'd be like, oh, this is good information to know who this person is. Yeah, I want to know who. Who this person is, is in my life. I would want to know that. So, you know. Yeah, definitely hard on the kids. But the truth is the truth, the baby, either way, whether they know it or not, the truth is the truth. I do think, yeah, it's hard with the scrutiny, but by the time these
B
kids are adult adults, I mean, they'll figure it out.
A
It's not gonna be the same.
B
They're gonna be fine. Did you see how she talked about her plastic surgery, how she regrets it? Yeah, I felt for her. And then when she talked, she kind of talked about why, and then talking about, like, how she can control surgery and she can control how she looks and.
A
Yeah.
B
You know, with her last partner, because she did have a marriage before, and he was even worse than Jordan, which I think is even crazier. She said that worse than Jordan.
A
Say it was worse.
B
And I was like, so she was just, like, in a vicious cycle. And that's the kind of why she thought. She just, like, you know, felt like she needed to do these surgeries, to feel like she was in control of something. And it's really sad because, like, it, like, almost, like, psychologically makes sense what she's saying.
A
Yeah.
B
And it's like fog. Like, you know, you're in those, like, those cycles again, like. Like, she was talking about, like, it just sucks to be in one.
A
I love. I love that she aired him out for saying, like, I need you to go to Pilates every Day and be a tradition, more of a traditional wife. Whenever that motherfucker doesn't even work, doesn't
B
contribute, goes golfing every day.
A
And then he's like, I need you to be more of a stay at home mom. That kind of vibe.
B
No. And he goes, I just need to be more traditional.
A
This is where I think the Mormon men thing is really toxic and disgusting. And this is where a lot of the Mormon men's have that attitude within this friend group and I will say, like LDS a lot. They have a lot of kids like it. Like, and they have kids in Utah. Like that is a normal thing. They have a lot of kids. They have kids, yeah. That, that is just like kind of part of the community. I'll say. I think that part is unfortunate because I say this because these are young girls and they're with, they're learning who they are, they're learning their power, they're building their careers, but they've already had all these kids with these men and then it's like divorce, divorce, divorce, divorce. And that's okay, you can do that. But you're going to be attached to these men for the rest of your life. Where if you would just wait it out a little bit and figured out your life a little bit, you know, and like what you want, it would be easier.
B
The kind of person you want.
A
Yeah, the kind of person you want to be with. It would just. And want to raise a family with. It would be easier to leave these horrible men if there weren't so many kids involved too. Because that's going to be hard on a child's life too. Just like all this chaos and ruckus. Like Taylor Preggy, Paul has three kids, by the way.
B
I forget that all the time.
A
Three kids, that's crazy. It's crazy for all that's like happening. So that's why I say like, like, you know, that's tough because it's like you're with these toxic men that want to control you. They want a traditional wife. You have all these kids with these men and then you grow up and you go, wait, what am I doing?
B
I don't like this anymore.
A
What am I doing? This is like a terrible life. I don't want this. But then you have all this with this person. So you're going to be a part of their life forever, no matter what.
B
What I appreciate about the show is that it actually shows women leaving situations that they don't like. And I do feel like a lot of the times growing up, you know, religious in general, just. And I think it's like religion across the board. I think a lot of the times women will stay in situations because they feel like they have to. There's, like, almost like, social obligations, a spiritual obligation that they feel like they need to stay for their kids or for their religion and whatnot. And I like that the show shows that these women, even though they're, like, going through the gigs and it's tough, they will leave their men because they're. Because they're unhappy. And I think that it's a. It's watching the show, seeing people's feedback, getting out of your own fucking bubble that makes you realize, wait, I'm actually not happy.
A
Yeah.
B
And I don't have to begin this anymore. And I think that that's what's been, like, really nice about the show. And it shows these different, like, walks of life because I think that in a more traditional sense, women can feel kind of trapped in situations like that. And that's just from what I've heard and just from what I've seen, it looks so, you know, almost claustrophobic in ways, and they feel like they can't get out, but it's like, no, no, no. You have a choice. You can get out. You know?
A
So the show, Righteous Gemstones. I don't know if you guys have seen it on hbo. They make. It's a spoof. They make fun of mega churches and, like, how they are. But I listened to Danny McBride talk about interview and where his info for the show came from, and he said that his family was a huge, huge, huge part of the church growing up.
B
Okay. That's how it became a thing.
A
They were so deeply embedded in the church like, it was their whole life. But then, you know, his mother was in a toxic relationship, and whenever she chose to leave the church, turned their back on his mother, I see. And left them out high and dry. And so that's what happens a lot of time in religion. It's all good until you don't follow their rules, and then it's not okay anymore. And that's why a lot of times women will stay in bad situations because, you know, it uproots your whole entire life. So, yeah, it is nice to see these and a lot of times standing in their power and doing what they need to do, regardless of what a church or religion or what other people have to say about it. I think it's more so than the opposite. I think a lot of people have to say, like, what the hell are you doing? Get the Hell out of there.
B
Exactly. And I really just feel like there's a lot of, you know, in religious settings, there's a lot of misogyny and a lot of, like, women are less than. And.
A
Yeah.
B
I think that it's important to see situations and see things happen so that you can reevaluate for yourself and realize, you know what? I don't want to be in this situation. I don't want to be controlled. I don't want to be emotionally manipulated, and I don't want to feel like I'm less than.
A
Yeah.
B
In my. In a partnership. You know what I mean? So I think it's really. It's things like that that make me really happy, that shows like this exist, because then I'm like, okay, it's great that you're actually seeing people's real lives. And then, you know, these women, like, uprooting their actual life just to be happy.
A
Yeah.
B
Just to get out of a situation that they know is toxic.
A
Yeah.
B
Because it's hard. It's scary. Like, uprooting your life is fucking terrifying.
A
It is.
B
But they'll do it because they're like, no, I know. I deserve better.
A
Right.
B
You know, and everyone. Everyone deserves better than situations like that.
A
Yeah. So, you know, they're working on their divorce. The prenup was. She'll have to pay him alimony, shot to pay him child support. They'll split the kids 50. 50 is how that came out to be. And then Jesse will go from there. So amidst all of this, a day, like a day or two later, Miranda posts on her Instagram, her social media, her. She's doing her makeup. She talks about how basically her ex husband is like a waiting line for all these women to hook up with. Like, he's the only man left in Utah, apparently, because Jesse got caught at a party with him and she got caught kissing him. So then Miranda then posts a picture of flowers to prove, yeah, she did kiss him. This is from Jesse admitting, basically she's sorry she did it, but she did do it. I wish Jesse didn't kiss him, because I'm like, jesse, what are you doing? Chase ain't no better. He's so ran through, too.
B
Oh, now after watching now, it's like, baby, that is ran through number one.
A
And Layla's like, just so we all know, me and Miranda weren't friends with him, but I'm like, that's just another one. It's like, my God, ladies, is he the only man?
B
Wait, how many of the group has he hit? Layla Layla. Miranda.
A
Jesse. Miranda. There's gotta be one more.
B
Yes. Taylor.
A
Oh, my God. Hello. That was the whole. That's how it became four of the girls. That's so fucking disgusting.
B
And that's four that we know about. That's four that we are aware of. That we know.
A
That is so crazy.
B
That's insane. So, yeah, I saw that too. And I was. And I'm so curious as, like, how that even transpired, because I'm just like, wait, what's happening? Like, where people up? Like, was there a situation? Like, what is going on there? And the thing is, I feel like that really also adds to the culture of, like, ooh, swinging. And like, Mormons are swingers. And, like, it adds to that weird, like, thing that's happening over there. And I'm like, okay. That just adds that perpetuating of the Utah Mormon culture even more that you're, like, almost, like, running through your friends circles. If I was Miranda, let me tell you something. Oh, I'd be pissed. And not for the way of, like, still caring about him in, like, a romantic way, obviously, but in, like, girl, you're my homie.
A
Disrespectful respect is crazy.
B
It's not even about him. It's about, like, my friends.
A
Yeah.
B
Hooking up with him.
A
Okay, so that happened. So I'm assuming Miranda and Jesse are not on great terms. And I'm sure. I'm sure Layla is on Miranda's side, so there's a little riff there. So then you want to tell them about this little yes stitch that came out.
B
Yes.
A
So another ran through one.
B
It's ran through it again. Number two, Dakota. So I thought this was so funny, too. So, like, it was posted and talked about that Lila Gibney, who's, like, was talked about so much recently from, like, you know, the debacle with, like, Tana and Brooke and just so much situations. That's, like, one of her friends, it came out that she and Dakota were sexting, which I'm like, how is this happening? And it was happening during, like, the. The Bachelorette, like, before the Bachelorette filming, when he was in, like, canoodles with Taylor and everybody and everyone in the. Yes. And so he was like, I'll fly you to Evelyn F1. Like, there was a whole situation happening. Macy comes out and, like, confirms the text. They were sexting. Apparently when he found out that she was trans, he, like, ghosted her. Right. But it was a thing. And then, like, there's comments like, I think Chase commented, like, Lila living Jordan's like, best life because it's like a running joke now that Jordan and Dakota are, like, butt buddies.
A
I wouldn't even be at this point.
B
I wouldn't even. I literally wouldn't be surprised at this point. The group doesn't surprise me.
A
Not at all. They can't surprise.
B
They can't surprise you anymore.
A
I'm unsurprisable.
B
But I did find that really, really fascinating. I was like, oh, my God. So the Dakota again, just talking to everyone. Also, the situation in the show when Dakota was talking to Miranda's bestie pissed me off. Yeah, that was just another situation.
A
I'm like, no, Dakota just doing that to piss off Taylor. To just like, even Brandon was like,
B
he's just doing this and telling the friend.
A
The friend's like this.
B
It's air.
A
Is air up there, but air.
B
I fear.
A
Nothing sank in.
B
You're so strong. Nothing sank in, Miranda, you are so strong.
A
No, you know how to choose some friends. That's all I must say. I'll be so fucking for real.
B
That too. Well, also, she, like. What's it called? I feel like she told her for. She was like, you can't, like, do this. Like, she wasn't enabling her friend, but at the end of the day, it's
A
like, she got her friend together.
B
She did.
A
Rolling. She got her friend together. But she already knew about this happening behind the scenes with her friends. So it was like, when the cameras were on Marin, it was like, what are you doing?
B
What do you think that that could be done in that situation where, man, I could have been like, hey, you can't do this. Like, what do you do?
A
I agree with Miranda in the aspect of this has been my best friend. Taylor is not my best friend. If anything, she helped destroy my marriage. So, like, I owe no loyalty to her, But I will reprimand my best friend and let her know what time it is. And I think that's just the only thing you can do.
B
Yeah, I do. I was thinking the same thing, because I. I was like, why are you doing that?
A
Dakota is like, the lowest, bottom of the barrel thing you could possibly touch.
B
So I would judge her.
A
I would have a problem. Like, I would then be like, I don't know if you're, like, my type of people, though. It's like, you're such good friends. I'd be like, I just don't know if you're my type of people anymore. And I would consider cutting that front off. Because if your judgment is that bad and that low, I'd Be like.
B
And the thing is, they end up talking, like. They end up talking about, like, how he has a way of, like, trying to love bomb people to get attention and to, like, get them to. It's like a manipulation tactic. He's using these tactics to get them to, like.
A
Well, he's a sociopath.
B
Yeah. He wants them to be, like, attached to them.
A
How crazy is that?
B
That was crazy.
A
So it sounds like the Mormon wives are not doing great.
B
They mean they pause filming.
A
Oh. And then they, like, grazed over, like, a blip about Michaela getting divorced.
B
Oh.
A
Because. So
B
she moved to LA or she moved to California.
A
She moved to California. Divorce girl.
B
A whole nother situation.
A
I love that. They're all like, fudge. You tell. We're just all going to move to L. A.
B
Literally. Honestly. Like, great. Like, you guys should be in a place that's, you know, more liberal, more open, more like, you know, more with the 21st century. I feel more, like, plugged in to what's happening.
A
Yes.
B
And, you know, it's crazy because, like, I felt like when I was watching the show and seeing Michaela and her man's, like, struggles, like, that's such a tough situation too. And I always. And I had wonder when I was watching it, I was like, like, how do you, like, go? How do you even move past this as a couple? Like, I don't know if you really can.
A
I feel like. And I may not know what I'm talking about because we're all. I only see what the TV show allows us. I feel like Michaela has been checked out of that marriage. I feel like she's been done with him. She's been tapped. And I feel like they just did a scene for TV to, like, clear up where it's going. Like, I feel like she'd been new and they already knew what their plan was. And then they just needed to do the scene for the show.
B
Right.
A
To cover. Yeah, for continuity of the show. But I kind of tell whenever she's just like, so, like, he doesn't exist, you know?
B
Like, yeah, like. And the thing is that gets sad because I see, like, her. She's emotional about the situation. Because it's like, of course, a hard situation to be. Yeah, it's tough when you have a partner, but you, like, don't want to be physical with them because of other situations happening, like, internally that you don't want to deal with. It's like, also dealing with her health, like, her actual, like, physical health.
A
And, like, so hard.
B
It's just so Much going on that it's like, I feel like the last thing on my mind would be like, yeah, I want to have. I want to look.
A
Yeah.
B
Like, I don't want to do that. Like, I want to like, like focus on myself.
A
So totally.
B
I'm just happy that like they're gonna do what they need to do separately and she's gonna do what she wants to do and move to like, again, move to California. I love that. She like basically uprooted her life.
A
Great.
B
Again, another thing, like I was saying, like, yes, like, if you're in a happy situation, move to Cali.
A
Well, speaking of move to Cali. So they've now figured out that they're gonna do a mom talk of Los Angeles. I don't know how that's gonna work because same.
B
I have no idea. Like, what does that even mean?
A
I don't know what that means. But they're already speculating cast because the producers of the show, they check who they follow. And they were following a lot of the mom girls who are some more years and some are Mormon, some aren't. I think that's cool to do a mix. But they can already speculate that there's going to be a mom talk about LA show.
B
I thought it was like fascinating the fact that they like found that production followed like 10 girls like right then and there and they're like, they're all new. They're like, what's happening? And then also while production is on pause for Utah show, they were saying like, oh, they're going to start filming for the LA version.
A
Yes.
B
Of the spin off. And they were saying speculation that Jen or Whitney would be.
A
I think, yeah, they're gonna do Jen, Whitney. It sounds like Michaela's gonna hop over too. Now.
B
That would be sickening.
A
Also, Macy put on her stories. I noticed. She said basically production keeps cutting out all of her storyline because she's not, you know, going through a divorce, a swinger scandal, a cheating. So they cut all of her storyline. She was pretty upset about that because it's like they don't seem to care about what's going on in their life if it's not that dramatic, horrific, dramatic
B
thing is what I find really, like what I love about like watching like Macy scenes and like Michaela scenes and like I feel like when I'm watching like they go through obviously and it sucks and it's understandable, but it's, it's less insane than a lot of the other things. And it almost gives you like a little bit of Reprieve.
A
Yeah.
B
Like you feel like some like, peace. Like, I feel like even though like she's like, let's say fighting with her partner or they're like dealing with the situation with like when they went out of town and they're like not telling people their partner stuff, at least you can watch that and be like, it's like drama. But it's like, I don't feel like I'm having heart palpitations right now. And I feel like, yeah, it needs to be like legally handled. You know what I mean?
A
I also feel like, and I was telling Benny this after I finished season four, I was like, they have too many casts on this one show because you're not getting enough storyline. It's like, Michaela, we're just gonna throw in a little blip. She's getting divorced. Like, it's just tiny little blips they're throwing in and there's too many people and there' too much going on. So they either need to do more part time cast and kick off a couple of the cast, or what it sounds like is they're gonna do a new show and then move some of the cast like Whitney, Jim, potentially Michaela and a couple of the others over to the new show because it's too much in one show.
B
It is. And the thing is, because it's sad because like, you want to see, like,
A
yeah, you want to see it all, but you can't. It's too much.
B
You only have so much. And the thing is, when the things are so like, let's say like Taylor's situation, Taylor's situation with Dakota is so in wrapping of the show and it's so almost integral to what the show is in a weird way that like, I feel like half the show is just about them.
A
Honestly, that could be a show that's in its own show that is its own.
B
Because then it shows like, obviously it shows like Taylor's mom and her situation and then it shows like her sister. And I'm like, dude, this is.
A
It's so much, girl. I was like, Christ.
B
So I feel like it's. They do need to do a spin off if that's the case. Like, girl, like, let the girlies all
A
shine so we can get a little more. Yeah, exactly. So. And then we did me on Sorry, girl. But like, we didn't even need the singing. We didn't even need it. They could have just cut all that and told us more about some of the other characters. Girl.
B
My favorite part.
A
I feel like the producers Wanted to roast Demi.
B
They did. I do.
A
They can't stand her because she's not fulfilling her contractual needs for doing. Not doing the interviews, not doing the reunion. So she's pissed off the production. So I feel like that was their
B
slide of her, like, production literally threw that in there.
A
They did.
B
To make fun of her.
A
I feel like they did her, man. I feel like they.
B
Well, because it did not make them look good, and it made Demi even look crazier because she's like, no, your fucking pitch is off, you bitch.
A
First of all, why are either of you singing? Let's just start there.
B
Let's start there.
A
When they start singing in the car,
B
I lost it. I was like, this is that. This is literally giving. She's got a smile, and it seems higher. Your pitch is so off.
A
That's Demi.
B
That's Demi. To Brett. To grandpa Brett, if you will. Sick. No, it's. It's literally diabolical. I don't know why. I mean, I do know. I feel like that is such a good reason. We're going to roast her.
A
We're going to tear her up.
B
We're going to tear up. We're going to roast her and. Because she's not. What I thought was so funny is when the interview would be like, and what do you think about that scene, Demi? And it would be crickets, and it's an empty chair.
A
Oh, they were.
B
She's not interviewing. I'm like, oh, they literally are like,
A
do you remember season one? Demi was the most loved.
B
I do. It almost feels like a lifetime ago.
A
It does. It certainly does. Her true color shines.
B
No, I. She was like, the people were obsessed with him. She was, like, the fan favorite. And then it got to her head.
A
Yep. Well, she's. I think it just enough time went by where it was like, we quickly figured out who that was, but she
B
literally was like, I'm the fan favorite. Pay more money, maybe? No.
A
It got Jesse kicked off the show to get her paycheck. She tried to collect Jesse's paycheck. Huh.
B
Okay. So there's just a lot of diabolicalness. Yes.
A
These girls, it's.
B
It's too much. But we had to do a deep dive because I feel like we hadn't. We weren't able to talk about it, and we wanted to, like, talk about, like, the entire timelines, receipts proved, and
