There's some incredible TV coming out of the UK right now. Brits just do it differently. The accents, the wit, the scenery, the devastating one liners disguised as compliments. It's all streaming on Britbox. They have the best mysteries, dramas, comedies, and seriously addicting originals like Outrageous, based on the true story of the Mitford sisters. They were kind of like the Kardashians of the 1930s. Wealthy, audacious, chaotic, wildly opinionated, and always making headlines. And chances are you've never heard their story. It's stunning. It's jaw dropping. It's very British. So check out Outrageous. It could be your next favorite. Don't miss Outrageous. Streaming now only on BritBox. I have a question for my Latin friend sitting over here. Is gringa a bad word? No, don't say that.
Manny Mua
You're the question for our latter friend. It's good. He got mad.

Welcome to your favorite podcast. It's full coverage with your host, Manny Mua and Laura Lee.
Manny Mua
How are you guys doing today? We're back in the studio. You know, we wanted to like, we wanted to be the traveling duo.
Laura Lee
Yep.
Manny Mua
We're just a traveling system.
Laura Lee
You never know where we're gonna be now.
Manny Mua
Literally, it's like Carmen San Diego. Where is she?
Laura Lee
Up into interpretation of where you click. Wherever the hell we are.
Manny Mua
It's like where's Waldo Buffer the studio.
Laura Lee
We have some hot ass toppies today, honey.
Manny Mua
There's so many, you guys. There's so many activities.
Laura Lee
It's from reality TV to PDFs, trial Tik Tok band to more. I mean, like, it is so much.
Manny Mua
There's a lot. There's a lot going on in the media right now. So many things happening. But before we start, of course we do want to do a peek and pit our good, our gold and our poopy of the week.
Laura Lee
I will start if you're cool with that.
Manny Mua
Please do.
Laura Lee
Well, first, my peak is Tyler's birthday. Fourth of July was so much fun.
Manny Mua
Amazing.
Laura Lee
We did not have a Blowout party. Party this year like we did last year. I just had a couple friends over to rot in the pool and have a drink or two.
Manny Mua
No, but your spread, you guys. Laura is a spread connoisseur. She can put together, like, she can put it. Even a charcuterie is like, really a feat, but she can do it. She can do all these, like, things. She sent me this video. She was like, this is what we have. And I literally was like, you guys, I was blacking out. She had like Mexican candy. She had like watermelon with chamoy and tahin and like, she. It was very Latina, actually.
Laura Lee
It was.
Manny Mua
It was like a mixture of Latina and white. It was a really good combination. It was as hell. It was. It was a great combination. It literally was Latina and white. It was like the best thing. I was really like. And it was just nice to be able to just like sit and chill and just like relax and play ping pong.
Laura Lee
I have a question for my Latin friend sitting over here. Is gringa a bad word? We don't say that. We don't say that. I'm a gringa. No, you.
Manny Mua
I mean, you are. But it's like, I think that it's. It's just about context. It's about how people use things in context. Like, because I think. Because someone could be like, which is kind of like, you, white girl. Like that. Like a night in the. Or they can just be like. Or they can just be like, oh, she's a gooding girl. Like, it's just kind of like, oh, she's a white girl.
Laura Lee
And that's fine.
Manny Mua
And I think that would be kind of fine. But I think that it just really depends on context is what, you know, Greenga is giving. But it is like, you're like, you're just a white girl.
Laura Lee
Love it.
Manny Mua
You're like, questions. It's good. He got bad. It just sounds.
Laura Lee
It's fine. But it just depends. It feels not. I don't know. So.
Manny Mua
Yeah, like, you're like, wait a minute. It really. I think it's just contextually, it's one of those words where it can be like, you know, a. Can be used in like a. Or like a. You're a. Yeah, it's kind of like that.
Laura Lee
It's kind of like translates.
Manny Mua
Yeah, it depends on how you use it. I really do believe that for sure. Depending on, like, what you want to be said.
Laura Lee
Okay, well, we're learning today.
Manny Mua
Yeah, I love that learning experience.
Laura Lee
Had a great fourth of July. So slay hot take. Oh, Tyler's birthday just passed. Happy birthday to Tyler. We had a beautiful birthday.
Manny Mua
Oh my God, it was so slay.
Laura Lee
I have a hot take on the 4th of July. You. We don't need fireworks till 3, 4am no. Or the 5th either. As a matter of fact, all the leftovers. Go ahead and toss those two while we're there. Also, yalls trashy ass are pissing me off. Tell them Lake Tahoe. Over a thousand pounds of trash found on their beaches.
Manny Mua
You were lying their shores from that, from that.
Laura Lee
From the 4th of July. I go running the 5th of July. That morning our beach is destroyed. I mean destroyed from people. So that pisses me off.
Manny Mua
So we can't have nice things.
Laura Lee
We can't have nice things because people are idiots. And it pisses me off.
Manny Mua
Pisses me off.
Laura Lee
And then the fireworks. 3, 4aM let's cap it at like 1. Let's do cap it.
Manny Mua
I actually don't think we need him at all because I honestly think like you guys, I've seen so many firework accidents, I'm literally like, you know what? You know what? I think we're good. No, honestly, the reason I don't really like the fireworks and they're fun to look at, don't get me wrong. But I think that for pets too, it kind of like, it makes me like frustrated for them because they get so stressed and they get so scared and they don't actually really know what's happening. Yeah, and that's the part that freaks me out because a lot of like animals will literally like run away or freak out because fireworks are going off. So it's like, makes me sad for them. So like if you're going to do it, do it like yeah, like do it on the beach or like somewhere that's so far away from like housing and like living and people's pets. I think that part like, it really saddens me for that because they're beautiful to look at but it's such a scary thing for your pets.
Laura Lee
Also, whenever I lived in Alabama it was so spread out there and it wasn't compacted at all. So like the fireworks would stop around 1am yeah, like occasionally at 2am you'd hear one, right? Like one. Because it's just like way less population. And I've lived in LA for 11 years now and baby, when I tell you it is non stop booms from 7pm till probably four or five o' clock in the morning. And when I tell you non stop, I'm Talking about it sounds like bombs are going on.
Manny Mua
Literally.
Laura Lee
I never sleep. And it's just like, guys, can we just all come together?
Manny Mua
Let's. Let's wrap it at 1.
Laura Lee
To wrap it at 1? Yeah, let's wrap it at 1 because.
Manny Mua
It'S latest how still? And it's like you got your celebration and everyone's drunk as hell.
Laura Lee
You got.
Manny Mua
Is more. That day, I swear, is an excuse for people just to get blacked out.
Laura Lee
It is.
Manny Mua
It.
Laura Lee
Absolutely. People just want to black out and that's fine. And if you want to go blow your hand off with a firework, do it. But do it before 1am like, do it around 1, cap it at 2, get one or two sparklers in at 2 and be done 3 or 4am I need you to shut up. I do. I do.
Manny Mua
By four. It's like kind of crazy.
Laura Lee
If you are those people who shoot them at 3 or 4am I am personally preying on your downfall. I'm just out there, I'm praying know that. Because it's wildly unnecessary, but had a great fourth love a good fireworks show.
Manny Mua
I love it.
Laura Lee
It was great. That's just my take.
Manny Mua
That's my take on the four of it.
Laura Lee
Stop trashing my beach. That's about it.
Manny Mua
Is that. Was that your pit part?
Laura Lee
All that just like.
Manny Mua
It's a mixture, actually.
Laura Lee
The fourth. I love the fourth because I love sun, pool, being outside.
Manny Mua
Right.
Laura Lee
So I always have a great time. So I always look forward to the fourth, but by the end of the fourth, I'm ready to crack people.
Manny Mua
Yeah. Well, it's also nice because a lot of people are off, so it's like kind of like a longer weekend for people, traffic. It's a. Yeah, it's a really nice, like, for that. For that aspect of it.
Laura Lee
It is. There's a lot of good aspects of it. But of course, I think a lot of it too is living in a big city. You live. You deal with a lot of the riff raff.
Manny Mua
Oh, yeah, of course. Every big city's probably dealing with my. Okay, my pick, I'm just gonna use as like my. My lore because do you remember when I went to New York and I was telling. I was like, you guys, I might meet up with this corn star. Yeah, corn guy. So I actually got a lot of dms about this. I got so many because I was like, okay, I'm coming back to la. All my dms are literally like, did you meet up? Did you meet up? Well, I didn't. Okay. But let me tell you Guys, Why? I didn't. Okay, so there's. Laura, if you are my family members, literally get the off here. You're gonna piss me off. If you're listening right now. Anyone. Nana, you have to go. You have to get off of this. You cannot listen to what I'm saying right now. Anyone. So the reason I didn't hit him up was because the day before I left, I actually got some trade. I know.
Laura Lee
Did you tell me this already?
Manny Mua
I told you, like, briefly. Like, I was. A brief moment. I got some trade. It was actually gym trade for my dream. My. For my dream. For my gym. And he was. He's like. He's become, like, a kind of a friend of mine and acquaintance, but he was like, you're also, like, my gym crush. And we're always, like. We always flirt and here and there. So I went over to his place the day before I was leaving for New York, and we hooked up. But let me tell you something. I wasn't prepared for the gravity.
Laura Lee
Sludge.
Manny Mua
The gravity. No. My God. She's like. You painted? No, I did not paint the room, Laura.
Laura Lee
Well, no, but I wasn't prepared.
Manny Mua
I was prepared like that. Of course. I'm always prepared like that, but I wasn't prepared for the gravity of the situation at hand.
Laura Lee
The longevity.
Manny Mua
Oh, the longevity. The girth, some might say. There was just a lot going on. And I'm not kidding you, for, like, three days after I was destroyed.
Laura Lee
Oh, my God.
Manny Mua
I'm not kidding. It was to the point where I was really like, let's wrap this up.
Laura Lee
That's awesome.
Manny Mua
Do you ever have moments like that where you kind of. I mean, I don't know. You're like.
Laura Lee
So you're like, okay, no offense, Ty.
Manny Mua
Yeah, but you're like, come on.
Laura Lee
Yes.
Manny Mua
Like, it was one of those moments where it was so much for me that I was like, all right, and we're good. I think. I think you're done. Like, I am. Like, it was at that point where I was like, help me. Help me.
Laura Lee
That's so.
Manny Mua
So it literally was like I was destroyed for the entire trip of New York. I couldn't even enjoy, like, anything else.
Laura Lee
You are not calling that porn star.
Manny Mua
Yeah, we'll just bleed that. I. So I honestly feel physically could not hit him up because I was so unwell for, I would say, two days afterwards. Like, I was walking funny.
Laura Lee
Oh, my God. Sitting on a balloon.
Manny Mua
And you know what's really gaggy. You know what's actually really funny? So he had sent me his, like, number. And it was. He put his full name. And so I like, of course Instagram and look him up, like, because I want to see what his page looked like. He's an actor.
Laura Lee
Oh, my God. What movie? Tell us who he is.
Manny Mua
I can't tell. I can't do that. But he's an actor, and he is, like, always gone for, like, things. And he's like, yeah, like, I'm here. So whatever I see him is when he's here, when he's not filming. And so we. We canoodled. And that is why. That is why I could. Yes. And I can circle back to the corn later on, back in the. In the future. But I was. I was not. I wasn't able. I wasn't strong enough.
Laura Lee
Honey. That booty hole.
Manny Mua
Oh.
Laura Lee
That would make me a Todd dead.
Manny Mua
I literally was like, you guys at the.
Laura Lee
This is the last.
Manny Mua
No, I'm not kidding you. I. And it's so funny because with him, I know in my heart of hearts I'll never hit him up to hook up again.
Laura Lee
Really.
Manny Mua
I know. My heart of hearts. Even though it was like, I had. I had fun moments. It was like, so it was to the point where it was. Because I think too big is also unenjoyable. Too small is unenjoyable, and too big is unenjoyable. So it's like, there needs to be a happy medium here. And it wasn't. It was. I felt like Goldilocks with the porridge. Oh, it was too big, and there's been too small. I needed the just right. And it wasn't. And he literally was. And he's like an aggressive person, so he's like, you like that, right? And I'm like. I swear it was rough. So, yeah, that was a journey for me. And it's funny. I actually just saw him literally yesterday at the gym, and I hadn't seen him since then. And I was like, hey, we just, like, chatting. And I was looking at him like.
Laura Lee
Get away from me. Get away from me.
Manny Mua
Get away from me, you sick. My horny goggles are completely lifted. They're completely gone clear. Oh, baby. The sky, the sky. The sky was blue that day. Get away from me. So, yeah, that is my. For my peak. It was part of my. My lore.
Laura Lee
So horrible. I'm sorry that happened to your butthole.
Manny Mua
Oh, my God. It was the worst ever.
Laura Lee
Yeah.
Manny Mua
Like, honestly, one of the worst. One of the biggest ever taken. It was my peak.
Laura Lee
Oh.
Manny Mua
Because it's just funny. I just. I was using it as A continuation of the lore was my peak. And my pit was actually my mosquito bites.
Laura Lee
Shut up.
Manny Mua
You guys. Tell me why it's me. Why me? Why am I getting bit by mosquito at Laura's house?
Laura Lee
Gabriel too? Oh, yeah, he did too. He got tore up.
Manny Mua
He got.
Laura Lee
Do you know me and Z? Okay, we have a friend named Z too, who got stuff.
Manny Mua
He got, so might be a lot, you guys. We got the animals goddess at Laura's.
Laura Lee
Okay? So we're outside for like the whole afternoon on the 4th of July. And literally my friend Z, he's heading, had a drink in his hand. A bee went on his finger for no reason. He was like, oh, my God.
Manny Mua
We didn't know what it was.
Laura Lee
He's a like, puffy stinger. Like, he pulled it out and a be got him. And then after that, the mosquito. Mosquitoes came. They took Manny as prisoner. They took Gabriel as prisoner, hostage. And they covered themselves in bug spray.
Manny Mua
Yeah, well, I cover after.
Laura Lee
But they kept getting you. I felt like with the bug spray, I felt like they were still getting you.
Manny Mua
I got five bites on my lower back because I had a cropped shirt on and I was sitting down. So one literally. I also one flew up my shirt, apparently, and they went, I have a constellation on my lower back. And you guys, I'm like, kind of allergic to mosquitoes. So my reactions aren't like the little like just like a red dot. It tends to be like a blow up. Like a golf ball. Yeah, you've seen, like, you see, my.
Laura Lee
Reactions are kind of blowing up too.
Manny Mua
His two are like. So they must know, like, it's funny. The Gloria said this and she was like, I swear to God, the people that are allergic are the ones that get the bit. And I was like, it's the truth. Like, the ones that are like, have the most fierce ass reactions are the ones that get bit the most.
Laura Lee
I was sitting outside with you guys the entire time. Me and Z, neither of us used one drop of bug spray. Nothing. We did not get one bug bite. Not one.
Manny Mua
You guys have toxic blood.
Laura Lee
God's chosen.
Manny Mua
The second it bites you, the mosquitoes drunk. I can't do this.
Laura Lee
Baby.
Manny Mua
It was like, why? Why? Why me?
Laura Lee
Isn't that.
Manny Mua
And Gabriel, honestly, we got up. What was your pet?
Laura Lee
The fourth of July people?
Manny Mua
So it was a combo. It was another. It was another combo. I get it, I get it. It was a combination of many, many things. Should we get into the peaks and pits?
Laura Lee
We have to. We're gonna start, I think, with P. Diddy.
Manny Mua
We should definitely start with PD because the trial is over, it's done. And it has been a long, the P. Diddy trial, just in general has been such a long journey and I'm pissed at the results. I'm pissed.
Laura Lee

So I listened to a news channel, A correspondent went to the courthouse every single day of the trial and she broke down on her new on the news channel, like the T of exactly what's going on. So his sentencing date is not until October 8th. Now he is in a holding cell. Like whenever you get shifted over to the main prison, your life becomes much more nice. Whenever you're in that in between jail, say it's really, really rough. So his attorney is now pushing for the official sentencing to be pushed forward. I don't know if that'll happen anyways, but a sentencing right now is set to October 8th, so we won't actually know until October 8th, which is crazy. So the main serious charges that he was getting on trial for was racketeering, conspiracy and sex trafficking. He was acquitted on both of those charges. Meaning not found good. Guilty. He was found guilty, however, on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. He is being held at that Metropolitan disease detention center in Brooklyn, which is where he wants to get moved out of. And I think he's been there since he got taken to court because they gave him no bell. His attorney thinks he's gonna get 21 to 27 months in prison, which is around two years. But the federal prosecutors are aiming for more of 51 to 63 months. They'll most. He'll most likely only do two years, though. His business empire is starting to fall. As you know, he was a huge investor in a couple things. Revolt tv, cut sok liquor. That's probably the biggest one. Completely cut ties. And then. Yeah, and then capital prep school, which I was like, what is that? That's actually the charter school that he found it in Harlem. They have completely sever ties with him. However, he still owns Bad Boy Records, Shan John Clothing, and Empire Global Records. However, these businesses had took a major hit whenever he was first taken arrested and taken to court. And they are still taking a huge hit because of all that came out in the case. So his businesses are suffering at least. But yeah, that's. That's what's going on. That's it.
Manny Mua
I feel like, at least like I. When it comes to the situation, because if they're not going to get him on like the big charges, at least like the things that he's done have been like, you know, under flames, have been suffering because it's like, no, I feel like he was like, he's a monster. And for him to, like, honestly, for the jurors to even say that, like, he wasn't found guilty for those. The racketeering and the trafficking, I'm kind of like, what? And they're trying to basically say, like, in trial. They're like, no, he's just a swinger. Yeah, like, that. That is, like, his thing. That was like, their defense is that, no, like, he did. He's just a swinger, and he lets us swing with people. But it's, like, so much more than that, I feel, because they. I'm like, what about all the, like, coercion and the essay? Like, what. All that stuff? So I do feel like the jury is, like, absolutely mistaken. And they're not.
Laura Lee
The jury is actually. One jury member spoke out because they are catching some heat because they're like, y' all so obviously saw this celebrity and you're letting him off. And they backfired. One jury member back. Jury member backfired and said, no, we're following the law versus the evidence. And that's just what this is. But, I mean, the public is not taking it very well. All of the jury are wanting to remain completely anonymous. I was.
Manny Mua
I fucking would. Of course, baby, don't even, like, show me.
Laura Lee
Exactly. And you know what's interesting is I recently watched the OJ Documentary, and it was definitely a different situation because they're going to court for different situations, however, similar situations. And whenever. When someone looks super terribly guilty of something, but yet they still get off because they hire the best of the best, best, best lawyers, and they do have the likability of the fame on their side with normal civilians who are the jurors. Both cases have that in common. And OJ did get off on his case, Right? Okay. In his civil court, he didn't. But, like, his jail time court, he did. And because of that, it ruined everything, his entire career. He lost his home. Like, everything came to a halting stop for him. And I. I don't know what O.J. was thinking. He's gone now. But maybe he was thinking, like, oh, I got off. I'm free. I get to start over. He didn't get to start over at all. Like, it.
Manny Mua
He Diddy will not be able to start over.
Laura Lee
No. And that is where I'm at. That's my hope. I'm hoping that, you know, it's. It's the court of public opinion is what he'll face next. And that will be, you know, people are not going to put up with him anymore and, like, his. But I'm really scared for Cassie and all the people who are so bravely came forward in this case, because into up to two years, maybe five years, he's going to be out again and being able to do whatever.
Manny Mua
That's not a long time.
Laura Lee
Two years, not so. I feel like their lives are now in danger.
Manny Mua
I do that then of the day, he's still, like, a powerful person. He might not, you know, have the connections he did. I will say, you know, after a couple years, if things continue to decline for him and his, like, wealth and everything, his empire. He might not be the powerful person that he once was, though, so. Which is like. That is kind of like, okay.
Laura Lee
So much money, though, like, stacked up, just, like, stacked. That, like, I could be wrong about this.
Manny Mua
Who knows? I don't know. What's that worth this?
Laura Lee
Yeah, I don't either, but he just has so many houses. I mean, he's p. Did he.
Manny Mua
Yeah.
Laura Lee
Still owns that record label. It's, like, crazy. So I'm like, does it even matter? He's a lot richer than OJ Was.
Manny Mua
Right.
Laura Lee
But I'm like, does it even matter what happens to him next? I think he has a nest egg so big.
Manny Mua
Yeah, he'll be fine.
Laura Lee
He never has to make another penny, and he's still gonna have the power to do whatever he wants. But I'm hoping not. I'm hoping.
Manny Mua
I know it's really sad. It's really important. I mean, the whole thing has just been absolutely insane. Like, just in general, like, the fact that it, like, the trial part is over and, like, it's done with that, and obviously you don't know the actual, like, sentencing, but it's just been such a long and tumultuous journey. I do wish that. Part of me wishes that they, like, showed footage of the trial. Like, I wish we. To see the inside of it, to, like, know how. What his demeanor is and to know how people, like, are coming across and all that kind of stuff. Because I'm always, like, really curious to see what is, like, happening in there, what. What the jurors would be thinking, like, or why they would say someone's guilty or not guilty and what they're seeing, you know, so I'm very like. I was. I.
Laura Lee
Will not film them.
Manny Mua
Civil ones. Yes. Right. Other ones will. They'll. They will.
Laura Lee
Yes.
Manny Mua
Yeah. I can't remember, but, yeah. So federals. They will not. But, yeah, honestly, it's actually freaking crazy. And I do hope that he gets like, really the most time he can get.
Laura Lee
Oh.
Manny Mua
Because after even watching the documentary about.
Laura Lee
Him, I get really hung up on is like watching that documentary and like listening to the real victims speak and say what happened to them. If you.
Manny Mua
If it's haunting.
Laura Lee
It is so haunting. I actually don't recommend watching it if you're triggered by anything like, because it's so much in there. I don't recommend watching it because it is very triggering. But it's so dark and runs so deep that it's like, how. How has he not been stopped?
Manny Mua
No, it's crazy. It's like, it's really sad also because when you see like someone with a lot of money and fame and, you know, wealth, that it's like, wow, they can really just do whatever they want and people will literally just move by and let them bulldoze them.
Laura Lee
Yeah.
Manny Mua
And it's honestly really, really sad and it's unfortunate. And I feel like PDD is the perfect situation of that. Like, perfect. He's like the perfect storm. Because he's sick.
Laura Lee
He is sick. That's a sick man right there. Well, that's that on that. I mean, we'll pick back up whenever. If they move the sentencing date or if they. On October 8, whenever we get the sentence, we'll pick back up. Our next topic is Matt and Abby.
Manny Mua
Oh my God, the girlies Again, out of it, if you will.
Laura Lee
So shout out to spill sesh. Because I watched her video on what's going on with them. However, I did see all the tick tocks of different influencers shading them.
Manny Mua
Yeah, I did too.
Laura Lee
I do not know why randomly. And by the way, I was like, are they talking about Matt and Abby whenever I did that too. Yes.
Manny Mua
How funny that you even thought that.
Laura Lee
There was like a trend where you turn your head around and like, like factual stuff and then you're like, who said that? You know what I mean? It was a guess. So a lot. Like a couple people took the opportunity to call out Matt, Nabi, or at.
Manny Mua
Least what it looks like. It's very like, I don't know if.
Laura Lee
You guys remember, this is the couple with the cruise ship situation where they left the child in the room to go have dinner.
Manny Mua
We've talked about them before. So yeah, they're basically a tick tock couple who, by the way, their YouTube channel is huge. Is it?
Laura Lee
Well, I mean, they get like a lot of views. Yeah, it's pretty big.
Manny Mua
They all. I mean, so they also have a podcast and the podcast has actually got them Caught up before as well. Especially Matt Mat. Honestly, when it comes to Matt and Abby and, like, the turmoil that they go through, it's really mad to me. Yeah, Matt's the mess.
Laura Lee
He's the mess.
Manny Mua
I feel like Abby actually feels, like, very, like, honestly sweet and, like. I don't know. I feel like I get good vibes from Abby, but Matt is the one that, like, has really horrible takes.
Laura Lee
Horrible takes also. I mean, like, I'll never get past the take of him not speaking to his wife for two days after she gave birth because he was mad that his life is going to change forever.
Manny Mua
Like, she's postpartum, too, for two whole days, and she. He didn't talk to her. I'm pissed. He's a freak. Like, that really? That. Really. That was actually the first time I ever realized we met. Was that scary? Me, too. And that was already such a bad intro for me that I literally was like, this man's a freak.
Laura Lee
There's no recovery in my book.
Manny Mua
And then there was just so many things that have happened and, like, saying that. That basically. He also said in the podcast, he was like, yeah, it feels different down there after you had kids.
Laura Lee
Oh, my God.
Manny Mua
Some things don't need to be online. Also, I will say, I don't think that there's. There's a world where you need to talk about every nook and cranny of every single part of your life. Like, you don't have to do that. So basically, they. What happened was that they went on someone else's podcast and they kind of, like, address, like, the rage baitiness of what they do, because everyone's basically been like, this is all planned. They. They plan the things that they do. It's all planned for clout. It's a rage, baby.
Laura Lee
So crazy. You go, why on earth would you sit on your podcast and tell these stories and say these things? Granted, this is mad. I'm not even talking about Abby. She really doesn't do most of it. It's like, all him, really?
Manny Mua
Yeah.
Laura Lee
But I think it got to the point where people were just like, there's no way on earth, like, you didn't know that was gonna cause this huge problem or get you a ton of hate. And then you guys go act shocked by it, but they're like, clearly, it's rage bait, right?
Manny Mua
No, that's the guy. They basically were like, we have realized that. He's like, basically, they said, this is our real life. This is, like, actually what's happening with us. We're just like saying everything that's like coming to our mind. But we've realized that we kind of need to take a step back and not talk about every single aspect of our relationship. And I was really like, oh, so you didn't think about that before? Okay. But basically I was. I was also like illuminative in the way of like, Abby was basically saying, like, I actually don't go online. I'm not reviewing our podcast. Like, things just go up and they just go up.
Laura Lee
That's a responsibility.
Manny Mua
You kind of have to as a kid. I'm sorry.
Laura Lee
Being on Tick tock, being on YouTube, being on a podcast, and then to go say, I'm not online. I just don't watch.
Manny Mua
I'm not re watching any of it.
Laura Lee
That is a responsibility I feel. And that's part of your job that you're skipping out on. So when trouble does come your way, I feel like that's because of lack of your responsibility that you've taken in your career. Because whenever I heard that, she's like, I'm just completely like, I don't know what's happening. Yeah. I'm like, that's not a good answer.
Manny Mua
No. But I also feel like her saying that, it's like, like, what are you talking about?
Laura Lee
Like, if.
Manny Mua
If your online presence and your online Persona is your entire job and for you to be like, oh, I don't see any of it.
Laura Lee
It doesn't make sense.
Manny Mua
That's like being a doctor. Being like, oh, but I don't, like, practice. I just go into the surgeries.
Laura Lee
That's like me and you getting in trouble. Trouble for saying something online, but then.
Manny Mua
Saying, oh, but I didn't see it. I don't know what.
Laura Lee
Yeah, exactly.
Manny Mua
Like, oh, I'm not gonna, like, I'm not gonna research it, but I'm just gonna go in, like, what the are you talking about? Like, I feel like that is a part, like, where you can't weaponize your incompetence in that way. Or, like, be so naive to think that as a content creator, that is your sole job online. If you piss people off or you have an audience that cares about you who actually is concerned. Like, for example, I do know wholeheartedly that their audience is concerned because they're like, why the are you with Matt? That's like their biggest thing. They say that Matt is a big ass red flag and that she does seem sweet and naive. I think, me too. 100. I agree with what. What they're saying. But basically it's like, why like, it's basically wasted breath. If you're not even looking, if you're not even following up, if you're not trying to be there with your audience to actually, like, make a connection, then, like, what's the point? I don't know. I feel like it's really, really odd to see a creator be like, I'm just posting and I get off immediately.
Laura Lee
I don't also believe that really for her.
Manny Mua
Do you do that with her or in general?
Laura Lee
I just never seen a creator have that many social channels and podcasts and yout channels and like, not scroll or see any of it. Like, I've never seen that in the history of living in la. I've never seen a content.
Manny Mua
Maybe because we live in la, maybe.
Laura Lee
That is why, maybe we just don't experience. But I also think maybe you should consider, like, this not being your career. If you, like, kind of have no part of it other than like, filming.
Manny Mua
And walking and walking away. It seems odd to me. It does seem odd. And like, I understand, like, the aspect of it being like, your job and your career. Absolutely. But with that does come a connection, and that does come, like, a social responsibility of what you're posting. Or like, she, like, she said in the thing, she was like, oh, yeah. Well, I didn't really know it was gonna get backlash because we just talked about it and it was posted and I was like, she's like, I don't review the episodes or anything. And I was like, you don't review your podcast episodes?
Laura Lee
See, that's the part where I'm like.
Manny Mua
I'm literally like, what the are you talking about?
Laura Lee
That's whenever I'm just like, well, maybe this isn't for you. For you if, you know, if you're not responsibility.
Manny Mua
I feel like if you're a big content creator, there's responsibility that, like, there's responsibility that comes with that. And I don't give a fuck what any other content creator tries to say about anything like that. That they're like, no, I'm just pushing. Like, no. There's a type of responsibility that comes with having a platform, and when you have a platform, you do grow up a little bit faster. Yeah, I will say, because you're like, oh, like, you have a lot of opinions. People tell you, like, things that might be offensive, and you kind of like, okay, you learn really fast. Yeah, that's what I'm trying to say. When you become a content creator, that's a larger one and you get a lot of opinions, a lot of different things you learn quicker than most people do because you're kind of like, oh, okay. Like you just learn different types of things, different avenues. So if you're the type person that's posting without learning anything.
Laura Lee
Yeah.
Manny Mua
What are you doing? That's part of being a content creator is being responsible with your platform 100 or you would hope, like, you would hope.
Laura Lee
Listen.
Manny Mua
But do you believe like the rage rate thing, do you think that they're just, that's just like how it is that they're just posting it and like.
Laura Lee
Now they're like, she has a believability to her whenever she speaks him. It's hard for me.
Manny Mua
I agree.
Laura Lee
Believe anything that comes out of his mouth because of the type of person that he clearly is. It like, makes me hard to like believe that he's not just saying it for the. I, I think it's not rage bait in the way that it's real.
Manny Mua
I agree. That's, that's the part I, I was like, I actually think that they're being genuine about the, the fact that they're not real. It's real.
Laura Lee
It's real and they're telling you them to you to get the clicking view. So I do think it is a form of rage bait, but I think it's real rage bait.
Manny Mua
It's the thing it's actually happening actually.
Laura Lee
Makes it kind of worse.
Manny Mua
It makes it kind of like, oh, so this is like, I don't know. Also you're being dead ass about her feeling different. It wasn't rage bait like that idiots.
Laura Lee
Make this up and said you meant.
Manny Mua
It when you meant it. Like, I literally was like, oh, so.
Laura Lee
Then I go, is this, does this make me. Does this make it better or does it make it worse?
Manny Mua
I think it makes it worse because I also again, like, I think that it's the naivety of thinking that like, like you should be talking about all these different things too. And it's kind of like, wait, I, I'm glad that they're at the spot now that we're like, you know what, maybe we should like talk to our friends about something instead of just bringing everything online. And I'm like, oh, now you think that. Well, I'm glad, I'm glad that it's finally gone to the point for them in their minds until next time that they're thinking like, oh, maybe we shouldn't share every aspect of every nook and cranny of every problem that we have. Also when you share every problem that you have, you get opinions About. From people, about your problems, and then you can't. How do you navigate your problem right. Yourself? Like, how do you navigate it with your partner?
Laura Lee
100. I mean, listen, the Internet is a really tricky thing. And when you have an audience, you want to be relatable and you want to bring all of your problems to them to be relatable and show that you're real. Now, their stuff kind of goes, like, further than that. But even if you share, like, a normal problem that you're having with an audience, you're gonna get a lot of riff raff and stuff that you don't want to hear, too. So you have to be very aware. Content creator, any doors that you open, they don't close. And you are subject to however big your audience is and what you're putting out there. That many opinions. So it's like, can you handle. And do you want that many opinions on whatever topic you're about to bring to the case? Because if you can't, it's as simple as you shouldn't speak on it, because that's just the way it is. You know what I mean? And we've learned that through years and years of being content creators. I mean, we were never, like, like, blatantly saying something terrible. No, no, like, being, like, shocked. You know what I mean?
Manny Mua
But we made mistakes, mind you, of course, total mistakes. And it happens and you grow and you learn and you, like, hopefully improve. Absolutely. But it is something where you kind of like, again, you take something from a situation and even a bad situation that happens to you. You hopefully try to take a little nugget of, like, information or learning, and you grow a little bit from it. And like, obviously as humans, we. It's actually good to make a lot of mistakes because you just learn so much more. But, you know, as you grow, you do hope that that does stick. And, like, I always find it really fascinating when people fall into, like, a crate, like, say they do something crazy, they get shredded for it, insanely, fiercely, and then they do it again. And I'm always gagged by that because I'm like, you're doing the, like. Didn't you, like, learn anything? Like, any kind of lesson?
Laura Lee
Like, what's not clicking, what's not clicking, what's not cooking?
Manny Mua
That's like, to me, that's always really, really fascinating because I'm like, do you not have that thing in you where you learn your lesson, your lesson? You just want to get burned again?
Laura Lee
Some people don't. Some people really don't.
Manny Mua

I will say this season overall, like, overarching since it's coming to an end and I've seen majority, literally, I don't like this season. I don't like this season. And if it wasn't coming to an end, I'd want to quit watching it just because I genuinely feel like for majority of the season, no one has actually liked each other. None of the connections have been real. People went on there to get famous. There's no real friendships, it seems like, on the show. And it's just like, overall, like, it was very conniving.
Manny Mua
Yes.
Laura Lee
Last season there were heaps and valleys and ups and lows and highs, but at the end of the day, you could tell, like, there were so many genuine friendships between the girls and the guys.
Manny Mua
Yep.
Laura Lee
Like, it seemed like. And. And like we've even hung out with that cast and they're all still friends a year later because there were so. And they're all still dating each other because the connections that they found in there were real. They really wanted to date each other. They really were friends. And in this one, it kind of seems like none of that's real.
Manny Mua
It's. It's. It's really weird, actually. I feel like, like, in the way they've done it this time, because people get eliminated. Like, you know, the castmates eliminate themselves. I feel like a lot of them, they have eliminated actual, real connections. And it's a really weird thing because I think that there's been connections in the show that have really could have blossomed to be really real and, like, things that we would have really loved to see. But then they like someone. One of them gets eliminated and, like. And the explanations don't make sense for the elimination.
Laura Lee
It's kind of like, what's the point in this show? Because it seems like whenever someone does have a real connection, they send them some. Someone gets sent home.
Manny Mua
Yes.
Laura Lee
So it's like, what is this show literally, like, wasn't the whole point to couple up and to go on the show.
Manny Mua
Contradictory? It's really contradict because then they'll be like, oh, well, she found a connection. So she, like, Got her experience. So she can go, like, you know, like, for example, them explaining about the Hannah situation to me made no sense.
Laura Lee
That was the biggest load of, biggest.
Manny Mua
Load Bush I've ever heard in my whole life. I mean, honestly, like, Sierra had fallen off a lot for me.
Laura Lee
Yes. At that point. At that point too, because whenever she stood up there and gave her big speech to Pepe as to why they sent Hannah home, there was a part where she brought TJ into it. TJ was not there yet. He was in casa. So that was a straight up lie that she was telling.
Manny Mua
See, I, I, I just think that there's a lot of, like, phoniness that was happening and I think a lot of people, this is why they love Amaya, because she actually, you don't get really phony vibes from her. You literally getting what you're seeing. Like, she doesn't have a showrunner running her account. She didn't even know. She literally, like, I'm just gonna go and have fun, do the best I can.
Laura Lee
Yep.
Manny Mua
Like, she wasn't going for the idea of genuineness from her and then from anyone else.
Laura Lee
Not without her. They would all be sitting at 10.
Manny Mua
They would be doomed.
Laura Lee
They would all be doomed.
Manny Mua
But it's basically coming to it. So basically. Also like this last week, Sierra, one of the islands, got eliminated. Not eliminate. She got taken away from the villa because of a scandal she had gotten to online. And it's actually turned into like this insane clusterfuck of a situation because, like, I fully believe in, like, people taking accountability and, you know, holding people accountable for actions. And I'm all for that 1000%. But what I've seen online happening to Sierra is actually way past, like, what I thought would happen to her, like, the vitriol, the death threats, her family, like, the fact that her family's had to get involved. People hitting up her family, hitting up her close friends, like, saying that she, like, doesn't deserve to live. I'm honestly scared for her mental health. Like, when she gets out, I am dead ass. And like, even though I feel like you can hold people accountable and hold them responsible for something but not take it to the point of, like, death threats. Like, I feel like there's a line, you know what I mean? And I think that when a show.
Laura Lee
Is getting a billion views per episode and the audience is that big and it's that polarizing, when something like this comes out, they take the heat of a billion people.
Manny Mua
Yes.
Laura Lee
And that comes in ways of death threats and just super inappropriate Things now, like me and Manny said, we don't condone anything that was said, and we understand there are consequences for your actions. She's facing them, but I don't think death threats are ever necessary. And because the audience is so big for the show, I mean, the most. It's. It's the most insane amount.
Manny Mua
It's like an avalanche.
Laura Lee
It is. It is. And, like, I'm worried for her at this point because I'm like, no one needs to die.
Manny Mua
And honestly, what's crazy is that, like, I had, like, talked about some of my stories a little bit yesterday, and someone responded, and they're like, you only feel sorry for her because she was your favorite. And I'm like, it's so funny you see that, because she had been, like, dwindling down my list for weeks just because, like, just the things that transpired on the show, it's kind of like, I. It's not even about that. It's about, like, just in general, like, people. And I do feel like. Like frustrated in the way for, like, for women's sake, in a way, because I do feel like women get it harder. They get it more harshly than men get it, because some of the men have been caught up for things, and they're not getting shredded the way she is.
Laura Lee
No, no, no.
Manny Mua
So that's the part that, to me, I'm kind of like, this doesn't seem fair. This doesn't seem right, like, for the way things have transpired for her. Whereas men. Of the men that in. In the show, there has been men that have caught up, been caught up for things online, that have said things.
Laura Lee
Honestly, Austin, been caught up for saying all kinds of things on Tick Tock and Twitter.
Manny Mua
Repost his reposts, huh, girly?
Laura Lee
He's been caught, yet it's crickets.
Manny Mua
Because he's, quote, unquote funny.
Laura Lee
There's no accountability for him. He's in no trouble. All love, all laugh. So that is a double standard there, that they completely picked these cases for the women, but not for the men, too. It's like, keep it even. If we're gonna do.
Manny Mua
If you're gonna do it, you better do it for everyone.
Laura Lee
Hold everyone accountable for their actions. Everyone needs to. To be held accountable. I agree. And I will say this. I was ultimately hoping Sierra and Nick wouldn't end up together, because Nick is one of my favorite guys in the house just because he's one of the only guys who can, like, form a full emotional sentence.
Manny Mua
Funny and charismatic.
Laura Lee
Yeah. So there are good things About Nick that I like. However, whenever I saw him with Alandria that one night, I knew from that. From the jump, he wasn't into Sierra.
Manny Mua
I knew from the way he, like, it just. It. It was him playing like that. You cannot act.
Laura Lee
Not that quick, not that good. Not that quick, not that switch up. So I was like, oh, he's not into Seer at all. And I started to think that. And also, whenever she pulled him for a chat after they coupled up, whenever he was. Nick was like, so, like, what are we doing in the real world?
Manny Mua
Yes.
Laura Lee
We're not like, boyfriend, girlfriend. Yeah.
Manny Mua
And she's like, yeah. No.
Laura Lee
I was like, oh.
Manny Mua
It felt very like, oh, my God.
Laura Lee
He'S not into her. So she got pulled from the villa. She's gone. And immediately now you have to understand, this is a game being played too. They can't just not couple, just be.
Manny Mua
They can win money too, by the.
Laura Lee
Way, on the line and a lot of fame. So, like, if you. If he was able to pull off a quick couple up and, like, make it to the end, like, he can still do some good. But the relationship in the past few days with Alandria versus the entire relationship with Sierra is crazy, because you can.
Manny Mua
I. I just feel like the way he treats Alandra is so different than the way he treats Sierra.
Laura Lee
I never really see him kissing on Sierra's hands and stuff.
Manny Mua
No. I've never seen it one time. Or even the way he, like, smiles or, like, holds your hand and guides her. Like, he's so. He's such a gentleman with Alundria, with Sarah, he was just kind of like, hey, girl.
Laura Lee
Yes.
Manny Mua
That's how I felt.
Laura Lee
So I feel like with Sierra being gone, one thing that's annoying me, they're like, look how everyone's getting along in the house. Now it's gone. People are getting along because everybody's coupled up and it's the end of the show and all the costs and everything's out of the house. That's why everybody's getting along. I'm like, y' all are so wild for this.
Manny Mua
Did you watch. You watch last night's episode?
Laura Lee
I did.
Manny Mua
You know what's funny about last night's episode? It felt the most Love island of.
Laura Lee
All the episodes because everybody's in a couple.
Manny Mua
Everyone's in a couple.
Laura Lee
Bombshells came in. No Costa more. No random people there to switch up your couple with.
Manny Mua
Now it's all like, I like last night's episode a lot.
Laura Lee
It's because the show is filtered out all the messy in between. And they're doing that now to wrap up the show. Yeah, they're like, we're gonna take out the mess.
Manny Mua
It makes sense.
Laura Lee
And so it's gonna be like. Like a peaceful, happy show to close this, which makes.
Manny Mua
Honestly makes sense. And I did I, like, yesterday, like, they. I mean, by the time this comes out Friday, it's not even spoiling. So they. They had, like, Amaya and Brian went to, like, the Hideaway. But, like, everyone was so happy for them. They were cheering them on. I felt genuinely so happy that, like, the way the house was treating them and, like, obviously they're going to. Because they know Amaya's America's favorite, obviously, girl.
Laura Lee
They switched up.
Manny Mua
They switched up real quick on a.
Laura Lee
My behavior on Amaya.
Manny Mua
They sure did. But did you see how, like, overarching it was? Like a happy moment?
Laura Lee
Yeah.
Manny Mua
I was kind of like, this feels like Love island to me.
Laura Lee
Yeah.
Manny Mua
Like, what I would. What I have liked it to be, like, the whole season is what I'm saying. Like, it felt like, obviously you're gonna need the job. You're all those kind of things. Aspects of it. But it felt kind of nice to see everyone kind of come together for something, AKA Maya and Brian going to Hideaway. It kind of just looked kind of like, oh, this is what Love island should have felt like.
Laura Lee
I didn't love this season.
Manny Mua
I mean, compared to last season, it's literally like my.
Laura Lee
It is night and day. I think producers got too involved. I think they did a horrible.
Manny Mua
They also got so caught up. They also got so caught. And, like, the bad edits that they did, like, they never. You guys, there's so much lore with the product with Love island this season. It's actually crazy. Even, like, the Alondria, she was doing like a. A thing like a little confessional. And then you hear in the background, like, you can't do this. A scream. And we all know it's Amaya, but Sierra is getting, like, taken out that day during the daytime because she was there in the morning. But, like, the edits are so bad and so messy. Mind you, I get. They only have a day to turn it around, so that's tough.
Laura Lee
They showed a clip of Clark looking really shady while Alondra was talking to all the girls in the makeup room. They showed this clip of, like, Clark. Look at her. Real shady and nasty. But the step of makeup that she was on and then wasn't the same. It wasn't the same.
Manny Mua
What about the one with Huda?
Laura Lee
Yeah.
Manny Mua
Huda gave Jeremiah a nasty look.
Laura Lee
She wasn't even in the room. So the. The producers were discussing.
Manny Mua
They're doing. They were doing the damn most and.
Laura Lee
Didn'T need to do anything.
Manny Mua
And they did a horrible job at it.
Laura Lee
They did.
Manny Mua
You were doing the most and you did a terrible job.
Laura Lee
Reality TV has changed. Is like, the conversation has changed so much because, like, people know that, like, it's scripted, there's producers involved, the edits, the cuts now. And in the past, like, people didn't know that. They were completely blind to that. They thought it was all real. So now people know to look for it and they are catching these producers left and right. Right again, horrible job casting. I'm like, honestly, let's just talk. Start completely over.
Manny Mua
Let's reset. Let's just reset.
Laura Lee
New season said she's an Auburn fan. Last night. I saw you saw that conversation.
Manny Mua
Did you think of me? Girl, I almost texted you immediately.
Laura Lee
Even Nick was like, what are you?
Manny Mua
She was like, I love an underdog. I'm like, I literally was like, I love that.
Laura Lee
That slight shade Auburn. Even though she didn't even mean it.
Manny Mua
I know, I know. No, but it's so funny because when that was happening, she's like, I love college football. I watch every Saturday. I was really like, laura, Laura. I was literally like, I was cracking up because she's from Alabama, but when she said she's an Auburn fan, I.
Laura Lee
Was literally like, that's why I. I.
Manny Mua
Don'T know if you had watched at the time that I was watching it, like, right on time.
Laura Lee
And I was like, I was. I was late. But when I saw that, I was like, I know.
Manny Mua
You screamed when you saw the Auburn conversation.
Laura Lee
I am an Alandria apologist.
Manny Mua
You are.
Laura Lee
I have a voted for every single time I, like Elandria can do no wrong. Because I love to see an Alabama girl go do something big and great.
Manny Mua
Absolutely.
Laura Lee
And I love how mature and powerful she is and being from alab. Like, I'm proud of her. I'm not proud of her rooting for Auburn, however. It's just overarchingly, overarchingly. I'm just. I love her. I'm proud of her. She can do no wrong. Whenever people were mad at her, you know, whenever all the girls hang up, I was still like, I totally love her. I know that we will cross paths because we always cross paths with all the reality people. So I know I'm eventually going to cross paths.
Manny Mua
We could have crossed paths tomorrow.
Laura Lee
We could.
Manny Mua
We could have.
Laura Lee
We could we always end up crossing paths with reality stars? Which. Speaking of Mormon wine.
Manny Mua
Oh my God, you guys. Here's another one. So does anyone here watch Secretized Mormon Wives? The re. Hello, Hello, Hello, Hello. Leave it down below. They just had a reunion and it was rough. It was rough.
Laura Lee
It was rough.
Manny Mua
It was depressing and it was rough.
Laura Lee
Rough. It. The crazy thing is like whenever you watch the Mormon wife season, it is very like drama filled every like crevice of it and it's very high energy and it's very like they give you the tea, they give you the drama.
Manny Mua
The episodes are like an hour long. They're long episodes.
Laura Lee
I believe the reunion, they were like, we're just gonna talk about your deepest, darkest trauma. So your depressions, any type of trauma you guys have, clock it. This episode of full coverage is brought to you by Progress Insurance. You choose to hit play on this podcast today. And me and Manny think that's a smart choice.
Manny Mua
Genius, I might say.
Laura Lee
Actually Progressive loves to help people make smart choices.
Manny Mua
That's why they offer a tool called Auto Quote Explorer that allows you to compare your progressive car insurance quotes with rates from any other companies.
Laura Lee
So you save time and research and you can enjoy your savings when they choose the best rate for you. That's what I love so much about Progressive. It is is such a hassle to find insurance with a good rate that's in your budget, but progressive has made it easy for us all.
Manny Mua
You guys have to check out the article Explorer. It is truly a game changing tool and I honestly think it's really, really cool that they make it easy for people to use, especially when. Because I feel like insurance is hard, it's tough and I think it's amazing. So I think you guys should definitely, definitely give it a try after this.
Laura Lee
Episode@Progressive.Com progressive casually insurance companies and affiliate is not available in all states or situations. Prices may vary based on how you buy. Let's not bring up, let's talk about it. Let's not talk about the drama of the show.
Manny Mua
No.
Laura Lee
So that was. It felt very low.
Manny Mua
And yes, it felt heavy. It was more of like a heavy thing. That's what I thought too. I thought that it felt like, really like when you're watching it, you're almost like, oh my God, I can't watch this. Like I'm triggered.
Laura Lee
Like it is true.
Manny Mua
It felt like a triggering episode. And like honestly they talk about so many harsh and intense and honestly very traumatic. And I actually genuinely feel bad for the cast that has dealt with the things that they've dealt with, it's really quite heart wrenching to watch them, but it's wild to watch that as the.
Laura Lee
Reunion when it didn't really happen.
Manny Mua
Yeah, I feel like it actually would have made a lot more sense. Like, for example, like, through, like, those things being brought to light. If it got brought to light throughout the entire season.
Laura Lee
And then a reunion, we cover them, film.
Manny Mua
Absolutely. It would make a lot of sense because then it's like, okay, like, you know, like, you have time to, you know, digest such an intense situation throughout an episode. Right. But when I'll. When three situations back to back, back to back to back in one reunion, it's kind of like, what is happening here?
Laura Lee
I was ready to get my popcorn and, like, watch the young battle it out. That's just not what it was. Also, Demi didn't show up, up to the reunion. So in Housewives, it's in your contract for sure. Like, if you do the show, you're showing up at the reunion, and you're gonna face all the drama and the. That you either started or that you're dealing with. If you're the villain, doesn't matter. You got to be at the reunion, and that's what makes that franchise so good. However, their reunion was an add on, so I don't think that she had it in the contract. And so Jimmy didn't come because she's, like, clearly the most hated this season.
Manny Mua
By far.
Laura Lee
By far, she's the villain of the season. But the problem for me is I, like, if you don't show up to your reunion, should you get to film the next season?
Manny Mua
No. I think some of your pay should be cut.
Laura Lee
Yeah.
Manny Mua
Like, I feel like. I know. Sorry. I feel like a stipend. Like, I feel like you shouldn't get, like, the full thing. Like, I think that there's, like, if you're not fulfilling your obligations for the show, mind you, again, this might not be in the contract.
Laura Lee
So technically, I guarantee it's like an add on.
Manny Mua
Definitely an add on. But, like, I think that it's one of those things where if they were to continue to do reunions, then it should be a requirement.
Laura Lee
I bet it will. I bet they're not gonna make that mistake.
Manny Mua
They're not. Because Demi not being there was crazy. She literally got to do a side interview with Nick Vile himself, and she was, like, talking about situations, and the girls would watch it, and they would be like, and yet, where's the. Here. She's not here.
Laura Lee
Yeah.
Manny Mua
Remember Jen? She was Literally, like, and guess what? She's not here and we are.
Laura Lee
And she calls 90 of the drama in the season. So whenever it came time to discuss that drama, she wasn't there to discuss it.
Manny Mua
Her colors make really bad.
Laura Lee
Why? At the tail end there, they filled it up with deeper conversations. Rather than talking about what happened during dramas, they had to fill it. But overall, I mean, regardless, it was depressing. It wasn't a good reunion.
Manny Mua
Yeah. Like, you again, like, you would think you're going to watch a battle or you think you're going to watch, like, kind of confrontation or kind of figuring out things going on. And there was, like, some redeemable moments. So there was some great, cute moments where I was like, oh, even I.
Laura Lee
Was like, like, for the first time because Taylor and Dakota's relationship has been so tumultuous that I have not been able to keep up with all the lies. I got the main lie where they brought the girl in. He was still sleeping with her while he was sleeping with Taylor, but he had just started. His relationship with Taylor is very early on, and he lied to her. I got that one. I did not. In the reunion, they actually cleared up, like, Taylor said, straight up all the things he did and why she wouldn't get back. And it made so much more sense. Sense to me because it was like, finally, like, a good breakdown of their relationship and all that had happened. I was like, okay, now I'm with you.
Manny Mua
Yeah.
Laura Lee
Now I get everything he's done.
Manny Mua
It's clear that's what reunion is good for.
Laura Lee
Yeah.
Manny Mua
Things like that. Which makes sense.
Laura Lee
Right. And that is what it should have.
Manny Mua
You want to see me? Yeah.
Laura Lee
Y' all battled her the entire season. And then Jesse wasn't able to even speak on the huge bomb that they dropped at the end of the season because she was like, well, I can't, because we talked about it next season. So why are you bringing it up in the reunion?
Manny Mua
I don't know.
Laura Lee
It was, like, weird, you know, 100.
Manny Mua
And, like, they can't. Like, why are they supposed to. They can't reveal everything when it's literally coming in the next season.
Laura Lee
And I'm sure they told her she can. Like, I'm sure. So I was like, that's a weird question to ask if, like, like, you guys should know, like, what's coming next. And she can't talk about it. So it was kind of, like, weird to ask her that for her just to say, I talk about it in the next season.
Manny Mua
Yeah. It's like, okay, I Also feel like Nick is also a very somber, like, soft host, you know, And I'm like, maybe it needs to be more, like, high energy. If he was like, in a more higher energy, like, charismatic place, it would.
Laura Lee
Have, like, maybe he was trying to be low for the low topics.
Manny Mua
Maybe that would make sense. But then it's also like, I feel like for a union, I maybe in my mind, because I think of, like, Andy Cohen.
Laura Lee
Oh, yeah.
Manny Mua
And it's kind of like he's giving you that. He's giving you, like, the charisma, the questions, the key. But then he also can get somber and have these deep moments. So I think that that's like, you know, something to kind of look to. And maybe Nick can, like, take some of those notes too, because I feel like that would be really good.
Laura Lee
Right?
Manny Mua
He did a good job. But, like, at the day, I think that it would have been nice to have those. Those high and lows.
Laura Lee
As RuPaul says, the last time is the Tick Tock situation.
Manny Mua
Oh, you guys, you need to explain.
Laura Lee
This to me because I'm like, what's going on? I'm listening to.
Manny Mua
I. Okay, you guys. So Tick Tock Tock. It just got announced yesterday that Tick Tock is going to be technically banned in the US in 2026. Like, in like, next year.
Laura Lee
I'm so tired.
Manny Mua
Officially, like, quote unquote banned. But Tick Tock is working on, like, Bite Dance. You know, the owners of Tick is working on another app that is basically gonna be the US's version of tick Tock.
Laura Lee
But are they gonna make us start from scratch?
Manny Mua
I have no idea on that part. I hope not. I hope it's gonna be very, like, threads where you like. It just like, passes over a bunch of people. I'm hoping that's what it is because I don't think that was. People would take too kindly as to having their entire accounts deleted, wiped, and starting completely brand new.
Laura Lee
It'll never be the same if they.
Manny Mua
Do that, but basically this is like, the only way to make it where Tick Tock is kind of like, gonna stay here in the United States because, like, through, like, the acquisitions, like, nothing's happened. There's been no. No, like, kind of, you know, results for that. So they're basically just creating an entire new app that we'll have to, like, download, Download, and, like, Tick Tock itself is going to be gone. What is it? I don't know what the girlies are going to do.
Laura Lee
2086 is only six months away.
Manny Mua
You just pissed me Off.
Laura Lee
That's not good.
Manny Mua
Six months away. It's 2026.
Laura Lee
Huh? I know. The year's almost done. By the way. I was going to tell you guys my peak, but only for those of you who stayed till the end. I know.
Manny Mua
Oh, great. I'm so glad that you remembered it.
Laura Lee
Everybody wants to start all their goals and traditions and all the beginning of the year. Technically, July 1st was like the second half of the year. And that's just as big of a monumental moment since all day and time is made up anyways. Yeah, it's real.
Manny Mua
It's all fake.
Laura Lee
You can count July as a start over month. So if there was a goal you fell off on, July is your month to pick back up on it. If there's something you want to do and you flopped and you didn't do it, do it, man.
Manny Mua
It's July.
Laura Lee
Do it, do it. Don't say, when I. When I last forever, you're going to be in the grave saying, when I.
Manny Mua
When I.
Laura Lee
When I.
Manny Mua
When I. You're going to win.
Laura Lee
So when I do that, when this time comes or when I lose that, you're gonna win I yourself to death. Just start.
Manny Mua
I couldn't agree more.
Laura Lee
Yep.
Manny Mua
But yeah, I'm really, I'm really intrigued. I'm really concerned about the tick tock situation because I don't want us to have to reset and do a whole like, if it, if it is that I'm gonna be really frustrated because I feel like actually we've both done a great job at having like, you know, tick Tocks and like having a platform there and really like kind of of, you know, changing or not changing ourselves, but like really like going into that, like long form content creators, YouTubers into doing tick tocks too, because that's like a feat in itself. You know, I think we do a good job at that. So I would, I would, I would suck to have all that work that we put in for years and years and years to be wiped. Yeah, I'd be pissed, actually.
Laura Lee
Really unfortunate.
Manny Mua
I'd have to strangle.
Laura Lee
Yeah, someone, someone's got to pay for that one.
Manny Mua
Someone's gonna have to pay. I think someone's gonna have to go down. Six feet under sucks. Six feet under.
Laura Lee
I don't see how we wouldn't have to start over because if you did like the American version of the app, like, how would all your followers like transfer over? Because that's feeling like a start over to me.
Manny Mua
It's, I think it's a complete, like I was saying, I think it's a complete new app.
Laura Lee
Yeah. Right.
Manny Mua
I do think there's going to be a separate version where you will get.
Laura Lee
Like, you could sign and get like, like. But, but what if like half your followers aren't on the new app?
Manny Mua
I know, then you're.
Laura Lee
That's my part where I'm like, well then you're. Yeah, you're.
Manny Mua
Well at least like. I'm like, hopefully you can get some, some of them go over. But I mean at the end of the day I think that a lot of people, if they tik tok really does go away technically, like for real. I think a lot of people will be like, okay, well we got to go over to the next one.
Laura Lee
Yeah.
Manny Mua
I think there will always be a place if people, people crave that short form, like kind of like bite sized content, they're gonna download that app.
Laura Lee
Yeah.
Manny Mua
So I think that regardless we would be fine because we are content creators and we create content for a living and we, you know, that's our thing. That's what we zoom what we find.
