I'll start off with my peak. These earrings that I'm wearing that you can't see if you're listening. There's huge, chunky gold earrings, and they're just, like, a big statement. So here's the deal. Here's the deal. So I ordered an outfit for this event because I was like, a night out in Mexico. Let me type that in. Pinterest. And let me figure.

An order outfit. And then the brand emailed me yesterday, which was the. This the day before, and said, hey, we don't actually have that in stock, so we had to cancel your order. And I said, e. Okay, okay, so now you put me in a pickle. So I went through my closet. And you know what? I had ordered these earrings from another website at the same time. It said they were delivering today. And they're such a statement earring for, like. I was like, I can do hair and, like, make the earring and, like, figure it out and do a more plain outfit. And then the earrings were, like, saying they were going to deliver today. And they delivered two minutes before you walked in the door. Yes. So peak. They came in, I thought, because it said until 9pm Damn.

I know. And I thought it was the worst thing. Like this.

We're going to be at the event and I'm going to have. Not my earrings.

I have some, like, life to me. I had a workout today, like, and mind you, it's been four days since Coachella, and I literally say three.

But I have to move my marathon. I can't run my half marathon that I have planned since January 2026. I'm so annoyed. I'm so fucking annoyed. But it is what it is. I had an opportunity come up that unfortunately I cannot say no to. But the good news is I did immediately schedule another marathon two weeks later. So we're still doing a May half marathon. Still happening. Happening. Different city, different place, different marathon. But luckily I got my toe wiggled in another half marathon in the month of May. It's just gonna be delayed by two weeks, which is fine. We can work through it. I just had. Had this marathon. I paid for it. I'd had it on my mind. I signed up for it, I wanted to do it. And I was like, of course, of course. You know, as an influencer, we're very, very lucky and we're very, very blessed. And I'm very, very grateful for every single opportunity I've gotten. And I know Manny is too. But sometimes live your life, because oftentimes, if you try to plan a trip or, you know, a marathon or whatever, it may be far out in the future. It's really hard to do that with our career. It just.

Especially when you want to take something like if you, like, if you want to do the opportunity that arises, you're a working diva.

It's going to be hard because this has been always something I've had to toy with and play with throughout my career. Because you do have to pause a lot of special moments or things you want to do for your career. Because whenever the time arises for like a career opportunity or a job is oftentimes you can't say no to. So that's a little downside of the career. But I'm not trying to complain or convince you that Totally. Anything here. I'm just trying to state how I feel because I'm like, damn. You know, like, one day.

I mean, you've been looking forward to it for four months now.

Yeah, exactly. That's why it's kind of like. But it's fine. Like, I'm still gonna run my half marriage.

Yeah. And it's still the same month, so I can't even complain.

Like, it's not like we're not going to be seeing each other because of what I do. So I feel like over the weekend, like, energy just shifted. Like, literally out of, like, the blue.

Yes. So it felt like it was less and, like, less frequent and less, like, flirtatious in a way, if that makes sense.

So then I was kind of like, okay, okay, whatever. I'm just probably reading into it because I'm, like, having a busy weekend, and I feel like since then, and it's been, like, what, four days since the weekend? Like, yesterday, we didn't even talk at all. Like, it's been like, literally, like, okay,

this was my question I needed to ask you. Okay, so after he said, going Thursday, what'd you say to that?

I responded the next day because I was. I waited to the next day because the thing is, I'm the type of person to, like, I'm gonna meet energy with energy. Like, I feel like that's how I feel. Like, I'm not trying to, like, play games. I'm not trying to do anything. I just don't want to be the only person that feels interested or the only person that is, like, present for something. So I'm gonna meet someone with the same energy. Like, if you're taking 24 hours to respond to me, I'm probably gonna respond in 24 hours, too. I'm not gonna respond immediately because I'm going to give it a beat as well. So I responded the next day. And I was like, oh my God. Like, have so much fun. Like, I hope it's amazing for you. I have. The weather's going to be great. And that was basically it. And like that and like the conversation kind of died. Essentially.

I'm talking like, for example, like, I can tell when you're probably annoyed in texting. Like, I can tell when you're like, like you're like about something. And I can tell when you're like more excited texting. So it's the exact same thing when you're getting to know someone and like you. You figure out how they text. Like, let's say, for example, if I was in a bad mood, I'm probably not going to be sending like little emojis. I'm not gonna be sending gifs. I'm not gonna be sending. I'm not gonna put hahaha. Like it's. You're gonna catch like my tone through texting. It's the exact same thing. So I just caught the tone from there and I was like. And the frequency as well. So if you're used to something for two weeks and then it goes to like completely different, you're gonna be like, something's afoot. And I just trusted my gut. My gut was telling me I'm like, I'm the process of getting ghosted. He's not really interested anymore. I can tell. And it's honestly interesting because it doesn't happen to me very often anymore. Like I'm not really getting ghosted anymore. Like, that's like not a thing.

For me as. Because I just like, I don't know. I just feel like it's just my energy shifted. Like I'm just not. I don't know, like I'm just not getting ghosts as frequently.

No, I did put a double speed, but I'm not sending you because I do it just to freshen it up. But, yeah, that's. Honestly, it's been shitty. Like, I have been in a bad mood for the last, like, three days about it, because my problem is that when the vibes are really good and, like, we meet in real life, like, I'm going to be a little bit more open. I'm going to open up a little bit. I'm going to be a little bit more, like, not so closed off, if that makes sense. Like, I'm not. We didn't meet through, like, a dating app. We met in person. So I'm automatically a little bit more, like, lively. I guess you can say so because I've opened myself up more. That means you're just able to get hurt faster because you opened up a little bit. So because I opened up and I got hurt, I'm kind of like. Like, I feel almost like a little crab, like, going back in. So I'm in that state right now, which is really frustrating.

You probably just talk to somebody else or doing something else or traveling or wants to hook up with everybody at Coachella and, like. Or something like that. You know what's crazy is I saw that tour.

Anyway, so we're watching like her perform and doing her thing and it was such a. Like I was like, wow, this woman is just like a boss. Be like truly. And she would like stop middle. She's like, it's not going to work. Just running back. Like she was such a professional in her way where she's such a perfectionist, where she was like, no, I know we're not gonna get that take. So we're just running back. Do it again. Stop immediately. Running back So I was like, I was almost intimidated being there, like, in the way of, like, watching her. I'm like, oh, my God. Like, I would be so intimidated if I was, like, dancing for her or, like, working on the scenes with her. I was freaking out. So I go. So I'm, like, talking to, like, people around there, and I, like, talk to her manager, like, or, like, one of her people on her teams. And they had just finished the thing, right? They had just finished it. They finished it off. And they were like, today's JLo's, like, birthday. And I was like, oh, my God. Okay, Period. And they're like. So then he comes up and he's like, manny, so here's what we're gonna do. By the way, she doesn't even know I'm there.

I'm in danger zone. She go. He's like, what if you bring out her a cake and we sing and we sing Happy Birthday to her While you're carrying JLo the cake and it's just gonna be a surprise for her? And I go, what the are you talking about? I'm so.

So they're like, you know what, you guys, we're inviting you to work out with Adriana Lima. And I'm like, work out with her. So I'm assuming this is going to be some little phony workout, right? We're gonna get cute pictures, whatever. So I felt safe going to it. Mind you, I'd never really done workout classes and or anything, so I was like, well, I'M hungry on the way there, so I'll stop by Chipotle and get a full bowl and a Dr. Pep or Mr. Pibbie. They have Mr. Pip. And I ate all of that and then I went there and they were like, I, I, I ate a lot of chips.

We get out of the car, it's night time. Like it is like dark again. The thing is, we knew like we're probably, we don't want to disturb her because it's already late. She's probably asleep. We're gonna just go through and be fine. We get out of the car, we're walking towards the house. Two massive dogs, like rottweilers come out going the in on me and Patrick.

And you know, they were homophobic dogs.

Oh, they hated. The thing is like, so it was. So it was actually her man had dogs. Oh, and his dogs had actually gotten out to the front girl. And so his dogs had no idea who we were. Like, it wasn't her dog, it was his dogs. And me and Patrick were like literally frozen solid.

We were like this. Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God. So then I'm like, Patrick, we're going to have to climb the tree.

I'm like, we're gonna have to like climb this tree because the dogs are literally coming up to us, us like growling and they're like like, you guys, imagine these huge ass dogs, me and Patrick. Okay. Luckily I. In that moment I knew I was faster.

In that moment I was like, I'm faster than Patrick so I'm gonna be able to get away.

She's asleep. And I'm literally like. And the thing is, our car is too far away now, where we can't go back to the car, because if we start going back to the car, the dogs are right after us.

The dog. The second the dog sees. Because right now we're like. I was like, trying to be like. You know, when a bear comes up to you, apparently you're supposed to be like, oh, girl. I don't know how, by the grace of God, truly, the dogs lost interest in us.

It was she in. Honestly, I'm not trying to, like, on people wearing, like, that or sheen, but it would. It was sheen, you guys.

[Manny Mua]

It would probably, like, $4. The whole fit. Less, maybe less. She comes out. The glam is shocking. Shocking. I think that, like, that was, like, the. Like, they were trying to go for Cirque du Soleil, and it didn't. But it was almost like, land. Not that. So she comes out, and we're like, oh, like, okay, cool. Like, she obviously has, like, her little fit in her tire or whatever.

[Laura Lee]

Maybe she's the presenter for the.

[Manny Mua]

Yeah, okay, cool. Maybe, like, this is how it's going to start, and then it, like, it progresses if it, like, kind of gradually goes on. She has her hula hoop.

[Laura Lee]

No, you forgot about the piece of string. Not the piece of string.

[Manny Mua]

Hula hoop was second Hula hoop was second. You're right. Okay, so we're going to start off with the string. She comes out and she has a whip.

[Laura Lee]

It is.

[Manny Mua]

It's a wit.

[Laura Lee]

It's like an Amazon children's toy.

[Manny Mua]

Yeah. So it's like a whip.

[Laura Lee]

Amazon. It was an Amazon children toy. It was a handle, and it had those little arrow. Iridescent light strings hanging out of it for, like, a little girl to play with.

[Manny Mua]

Yes, it's exactly like. That's literally what it was. Just a little bit longer than, like, the normal ones. She comes out and she's like this.

[Laura Lee]

Just. Just. That's it. Just, honey, no rhythm. Just.

[Manny Mua]

And we're not kidding. When I was literally like this. Wait, is this a light show girl? So she's just like. It's so think of, like, rhythmic gymnastics, like, with the rhythm ribbon, but with the light. And the thing is. But not as graceful with the ribbon. It was a whip.

[Laura Lee]

She was literally just whipping that, walking around the tables, just whipping, like, her life.

[Manny Mua]

And we're like.

[Laura Lee]

I'm telling you, this was a hire from, like, Craigslist. It was a task rabbit.

[Manny Mua]

The fact that the, like, hotel restaurant is the one that did it. Like, what's going on?

[Laura Lee]

But the brand booked it through the hotel restaurants. They didn't know. But the hotel restaurant hyped it up and was like, this is. So we kind of look over at the brand also. Everybody's phones goes down immediately.

[Manny Mua]

Anyway, from this to.

[Laura Lee]

We need to put our phones away. So the brand immediately. I look at the girl because we're sitting by the brand. And the look on her face was very perplexed.

[Manny Mua]

She was like.

[Laura Lee]

She was.

[Manny Mua]

What the going on?

[Laura Lee]

So then we were. She's like, don't applaud yet because I'm coming back, you guys.

[Manny Mua]

We have our part two.

[Laura Lee]

We have part two and we're.

[Manny Mua]

Don't worry. She's like. And she's like. And you. I. You ready for more of this? Because I have a part 2. Get ready for the next act. And I go, maybe there's a progression. Maybe there's more.

And then she comes better with hula hoops. And baby.

One worked. One lit up.

One of them was switching.

One of them was twitching.

[Manny Mua]

One was twitching. It was really. One had, like, lights on the hula hoops. And then one hula hoop had, like, out, out, light out, destroyed. Like, it was just. And she was so she was doing the little, like.

And there was like, nothing happening with the hula.

[Manny Mua]

No. She literally was doing this.

[Laura Lee]

She dropped them, like, 15 times.

[Manny Mua]

Dropped the hula hoops. I'm not kidding you. Literally, like, maybe like, six times.

[Laura Lee]

When I tell you, if you gave me a manny. The hula hoops, I swear on my

[Manny Mua]

soul, we could do better.

[Laura Lee]

We could do better.

[Manny Mua]

We could do more with that.

[Laura Lee]

We could have done more.

[Manny Mua]

She literally was. She had. She would do this with the hula hoops. She would get them. She'd go like this.

[Laura Lee]

Somebody was off work and had a call in an audible. Yeah.

[Manny Mua]

And then she would, like, kind of like, toss them around, but they. Then they would fall on the ground. And then she would, like, have them, and she would be like. Like, as if they were just like, wait, almost.

[Laura Lee]

If they were a fan, you guys.

[Manny Mua]

And so we were all. And like, I'm not kidding, you guys. At this point, I'm like, if you look at me, I'm laughing. Like, it's so bad, everyone. I'm like, this. Looking down like this.

[Laura Lee]

So we look at the brand at this point, and she's like, okay, I don't know what this is. Like, the brand is like, I'm so sorry. We did not know what this was. And then she's like, I'm going to come back a third time.

[Manny Mua]

She's like, I have my font final.

[Laura Lee]

And then the brand's just like, oh, God, please, Lord Jesus. Like, oh.

[Manny Mua]

She's like, we have our finale.

[Laura Lee]

We still have the finale. So don't.

[Manny Mua]

She's like, I have my finale, you guys. Don't wait. Just get ready. Like, get ready for the next round. And so at this point, it's gotten so bad that I'm looking forward to the finale. Like, it's, like, gone like this for me. Like, it's almost gone full circle where I'm like, I have to know, what's the finale now?

[Laura Lee]

Yes.

[Manny Mua]

It's so bad that it got to a point where I'm like, now I need to see. Now I need the final finale. She comes out, the finale with the whip and the hula hoop. It's a double. But she adds a veil and a wedding dress.

[Laura Lee]

There was a veil, but she still has on the colorful leotard. She just put it on top of it, so.

[Manny Mua]

And it only goes to her hips.

[Laura Lee]

It was like a child.

[Manny Mua]

It was a child's wedding dress.

[Laura Lee]

Wedding dress.

[Manny Mua]

So it goes to her hips, and then the lycra is underneath, where it's literally just leggings. And so she's. She's twirling in it.

[Laura Lee]

I want to know how much she was.

[Manny Mua]

Oh, I'm.

[Laura Lee]

They paid her.

[Manny Mua]

If it's more. If it's more than literally $25, I'm pissed. I'm pissed. If it's more than $25.

[Laura Lee]

It was bad.

[Manny Mua]

It was one of the worst, like, performances I've ever seen.

[Laura Lee]

I think they said she was like the islands performer.

[Manny Mua]

They did.

[Laura Lee]

They did.

[Manny Mua]

They were like. They were like, oh, like, she is like, the. She's always hired for these events. And I was like, oh, wow. That's why I was so, like, intrigued. Because of Russia was like, no. Like, she's, like, always hired. Like, she's always working here. People, like, love her. D. And I was literally, now that we've seen it and we witnessed the entire thing with the hula hoops and the. The string, I go, this is the craziest thing I've ever.

[Laura Lee]

That's the craziest thing. It was like a fever. It felt like a fever dream. It felt like a fever dream.

[Manny Mua]

And she would, like, go around the tables and, like, wiggle her little whip and be like. And people were like, what the is going on? And had her little, like, veil. And it was just a very experience. And I've never seen anything like it.

[Laura Lee]

And I just remember the brand being like, I'm so sorry. We had no idea.

[Manny Mua]

The next day. I remember talking to the brand the next day, and we were like, so that's a light joke.

[Laura Lee]

They were like. We had.

[Manny Mua]

They're like, girl, don't play with us right now.

[Laura Lee]

No idea.

[Manny Mua]

No. The brand was so in on it. They were, like, cracking up because they were like, girl, we also had what the was happening.

[Laura Lee]

No idea.

[Manny Mua]

Like, and how could you. Like, you're obviously visiting a foreign island for the first time. Like, how are they going to know what's going on? You see? Just don't know. But it was just so crazy that every. The entire. All of us at every table was just like this.

[Laura Lee]

We cannot believe it. And it just.

[Manny Mua]

I thought we were getting pun.

[Laura Lee]

And it just kept happening and happening and happening.

[Manny Mua]

I thought it was a joke.

[Laura Lee]

That's one of my favorite stories. It's one of those. You definitely had to be there because I'm telling you, if you saw this, you're. You would be like, I'm gonna see
