Is an hour out of Seattle.
Laura Lee
It was a two plus two.
Manny MUA
The producer. Yeah.
Laura Lee
Welcome to your favorite podcast. This is full coverage with your host, Laura Lee and Manny Way. That's right, baby. Hey.
Manny MUA
Hi, you guys. How are you doing? We are looking beautiful and stunning as we always are.
Laura Lee
We have hot toppies today. We're gonna be breaking down Love Island. We got some more awesome McBruton. Catherine T. We need Bill, I need to tell Manny about this movie I watched that I didn't like. There's a lot.
Manny MUA
Y' all as well.
Laura Lee
And y' all as well.
Manny MUA
There's just. There's things happening.
Laura Lee
There are things happening today.
Manny MUA
God, the Love Island. I can't.
Sponsor
We're not getting into it.
Manny MUA
We're starting off. We have pics first. Because I do want to get into that because last night's episode pissed me off.
Laura Lee
Am I?
Manny MUA
You're like, mm, mm, my dude. Lord knows I pissed. But anyway, let's start off with peaks and pics. What is your peak or pit first?
Laura Lee
My pit. Just because I want to tell you what you do this weekend. I was like, let me tell you. But then I was like, wait, it's part of my pit. So I saw the movie 28 years later, which is like, I guess in the world. 28 Days, right? And I remember watching 28 Days, but I didn't remember, like, how the movie was just because it was so many years ago. So we went to see it 28 years later and I have to say it was low key. A floppy flop.
Manny MUA
No, no. I honestly, I feel like it looked interesting in the previews.
Laura Lee
Preview.
Manny MUA
We thought, why? What made it a flop?
Laura Lee
So the storyline, there's like a ton of holes and it just kind of seems like they threw it together really quickly because they rush a lot of scenes where things just like don't make sense. Like for instance, the mom is like deathly ill, so she like her mind's not right. So they live on a island that is. What do you call it? When Covid did we do where you're supposed. Quarantined. They're quarantined on this island because zombies have taken over. So they just like keep these people on this island that were there to begin with.
Manny MUA
Yeah.
Laura Lee
And they're like, we can't risk you coming into the mainland because that area is where the zombies are. So they're like, you guys are just gonna have to live here on this island. And there's a little trail where you can get to the mainland to get. Kill an animal, get resources, things like that. So the braver people will go to the other side to get resources. Where the mom's sick and it's like the little boy, little, little boy. Just randomly. I don't know, it's. It's just a crazy story. But he's like, I'm gonna take my mom to like the most dangerous spot cuz he hears there's a doctor there. It's like the story doesn't make any sense. And then where the do zombies could be so, so scary?
Manny MUA
They weren't.
Laura Lee
They just weren't. They were like. They were like, now the zombie virus has turned into steroids and we have big mega zombies. And it was like. I'm like, really?
Manny MUA
It was the last of us.
Laura Lee
And then there was a last of us. Exactly. It was that. And it's so corn. And then there's like a pregnant zombie. But the baby that came out, okay.
Manny MUA
She's like, it's human.
Laura Lee
It's human. Girl, get me out. I said I'm done. Aaron's busting out laughing the whole movie.
Manny MUA
And it's like a scary movie and she's literally laughing.
Laura Lee
So that's when you know they did their big one.
Manny MUA
Got it. Or they did it. They did their little.
Laura Lee
They did it. I didn't think it was great. I think if you want to see it, just wait till it comes out.
Manny MUA
Yeah. Streaming.
Laura Lee
Stream it.
Manny MUA
Yeah.
Laura Lee
And just see what you think that's not for me.
Manny MUA
That's not for me, I don't think. And I like zombies.
Laura Lee
I'm obsessed with scary.
Manny MUA
You like scary scary?
Laura Lee
Like for real.
Manny MUA
You like real scary and zombies.
Laura Lee
So good for me. Like, I love a good zombie and vampire. Any of that.
Manny MUA
I love vampire zombies. To me, anything like that. Like, to me, it's kind of mystical in a weird way where it's like zombies and vampires and werewolves. It's sci fi. I love sci fi.
Laura Lee
You can't be scared.
Manny MUA
I'm not super scared of that, though. Because it's sci fi.
Laura Lee
Top scares. That's more society.
Manny MUA
Like, when I. When I watched Sinners, there was pop scares that actually didn't get like. I look like I was like, oh, shit. But it wasn't like a scary movie.
Laura Lee
Yeah, right.
Manny MUA
I just was like, oh, my God. Like, that a jump scare would get me. But I'm like, enjoying the movie because it's so good. And, like, it was just great. But that's horrible.
Laura Lee
Yeah, I know.
Manny MUA
Whenever I travel, I like to download Grindr.
Laura Lee
Yeah, of course.
Manny MUA
Because I love to download Grindr when I'm in a different area. Cause I'm like, oh, my God. What is, like, the essence? What is, like, around me? Like, let me tell you how spooky Grindr is. An hour out of Seattle, girl Laura.
Laura Lee
It was a toothless hillbilly.
Manny MUA
It was literally no teeth. No kidding. It was just literally, like a shocking thing. So I was on there and I was literally like, what is. I'm also just not used to coming in la.
Laura Lee
Yeah.
Manny MUA
So it's like the options are so, you know, vast and crazy and everyone's, like, trying to be pretty there. It was literally like, everyone's a bottom.
Laura Lee
Damn.
Manny MUA
Literally all the pages were like, bottom Playland, baby. What am I going to do out there? Yeah, what am I going to do out there? Everyone's a bottom.
Laura Lee
Why did I think you were saying top? Like, in my head?
Manny MUA
You translated to the top. You're like, playground, honey. You're like, put a bag on it. Wait, no.
Laura Lee
Why is everybody bottom?
Manny MUA
I don't know. So then there was one. There was literally one hot guy. And maybe me too. I get like, lumberjack.
Laura Lee
Yeah, I'm getting. I'm getting lumberjack.
Manny MUA
One of the guys I was, like, talking to on there, like, the only. Literally the only hot.
Laura Lee
I'm so sorry. That was me.
Manny MUA
The only hot guy there. He hit me up and he's like, hey. And I was like, why is your pavas bottom? I literally. I was like, why are you a bottom? Like, you're the only cute guy around. He's like, Seattle's actually all bottoms. Oh, it's a big city of queen bottoms. Yeah. Everyone out there. And he's like, it's. It's a little spooky out here, so good luck to you. I'm going to be real.
Laura Lee
See you later.
Manny MUA
He's like, good luck.
Laura Lee
Don't message me like.
Manny MUA
And I literally was like, girl, I'm not. I'm actually, literally never actually doing anything when I'm there. You're seeing, but I'm just seeing. Cuz I'm just so curious of what's around. I want to see the land. The land of my people. Yeah, I want to see it. And so it was. It was actually a little shocking.
Laura Lee
Damn.
Manny MUA
It was a little shocking. But I'm going to New York this weekend.
Laura Lee
I was like, well, no. I was like, well, Manny, isn't it just so nice to get out of la? And he was like, no, it's not really. He was like, I'd prefer to be back. I was like, okay.
Manny MUA
She did. She like, is this so great? Just get.
Laura Lee
I was like, no. He was like, no, no, no, no.
Manny MUA
I'm not in Cabo right now.
Laura Lee
Yeah, I know. I'm not like, you went to Cabo?
Manny MUA
Yeah, but it was so stunning. I just have to say, like, if you live in the Pacific Northwest, like, it's so beautiful up there and I understand, like, I get it. It's very like, misdee. I will say it's very like kind of cold and gloomy and misty, which I feel like that can like, probably honestly weigh on, like, that would weigh on my mental. Like, I would not be able to survive there. But it's such a beautiful place and I understand why it's so green because it's so wet in a way and it's so like, beautiful, beautiful. So I have to give, like, you guys. It's so, so beautiful. So I'm actually going to New York this weekend because I have another work thing and I'm literally like, by the way, two cities in, in one week. It's not for me. I'm not one of those people.
Laura Lee
I'm not like a traveling diva summer, though.
Manny MUA
I know, but see, I'm excited.
Laura Lee
That's fine because we have fun trips.
Manny MUA
Like, for me, I was like, okay, I'm excited. Like, we have some fun trips coming. Like we're gonna be actually doing some shit. So I'm very excited about that. But like, but two in one Week is, like, kind of wild. It is, but I'm going this week. So I have some, like, lore. Yes, I have some lore about Newark. Let me tell you something real quick. So backtrack. I know we're getting into the. We're getting to the tea right now. So I. There's this corn star that I think is very just. He's an attractive guy. I follow him on X. I follow him on Instagram. I just think he's fine as hell. And so one day, years ago, I had bought a replica of his.
Laura Lee
What's a replica?
Manny MUA
A piece. I bought a piece, and it was basically, like. It was like, his mold.
Laura Lee
Okay.
Manny MUA
Right. I was like, okay, I'm gonna have. I had never had any, like, toy before, so I was like, okay, I'm gonna have one. Okay, I'll have one. And it's, you know, just practice. And it's his. I DM'd him.
Laura Lee
Oh, my God.
Manny MUA
Because he has open Twitter DM. So I DM'd him. And as. As I Manny and yoy page, by the way, I was like, you want to see? Hey, I wanted to see that check, honey. So I was like, hey, my friend bought me this.
Laura Lee
Oh, shit.
Manny MUA
Of course I did. I literally was like. So it was my birthday recently, and one of my good friends bought me this.
Laura Lee
And Judy.
Manny MUA
Yeah, it was one of my Judy's. She bought me this. And it looks so nice. I just want to say, like, congrats to you. I'm not even kidding. That's literally how it went years ago. He follows me, followed me, and he goes, well, let me know if you ever want to, like, serious. The real thing.
Laura Lee
Oh, you fished and you caught the bay.
Manny MUA
He caught a bass, and he lives in New York.
Laura Lee
Are you gonna see him?
Manny MUA
Maybe? Because also then we were DMing, and then he. This is recently. I was like, oh, I'm coming to New York. And he's like, oh, hit me up when you're here. I mean, we can, like, meet up. And he put, like, a winky face.
Laura Lee
Aww, you found the top heel.
Manny MUA
So now I'm kind of like, you guys, we'll see. Maybe this.
Laura Lee
Manny is booking the jet. Manny's booking the jet.
Manny MUA
I'm like, jetblue mint.
Laura Lee
That's right. He's gonna be packed and ready to go.
Manny MUA
Mind you, I'm literally only there for 24 hours.
Laura Lee
That's crazy.
Manny MUA
I'm there for. For such a short time.
Laura Lee
Cause you were there for such a short time. I was like, damn, should I go to New York? With you and us, get some podcasts, like guests. But I don't think we could pull it off, honestly.
Manny MUA
Unless I literally was like, let's push the trip two days extra. Cause then it'd be worth it to get, like, not only guests, but then also do, like, press out there too. We can do some junkets. But since it's so quick, I'm like. I'm like, don't tempt me.
Laura Lee
You cut to it as me and Peyton.
Manny MUA
We'Re in the big Apple. Laura, you should have told me that. What we could have extended. For real.
Laura Lee
I thought about it this week. I feel like it's too late. We can talk about it later.
Manny MUA
Yeah, maybe we can. We can see. We can play with that. But yes, I'm intrigued, mind you. Again, like, I'm literally there for 24 hours for a work event. I'm not there for, like, fun, but maybe I could have fun later that night. So I will be letting you guys know if that does have happening.
Laura Lee
So if you're gonna like, go do your work thing and then have that a little bit of time that night free, and then you go the next morning, fly. Got it. I'm with you.
Manny MUA
So it's literally like a. Yep. Because I fly in Thursday night events Friday.
Laura Lee
I mean, it's kind of long, girl.
Manny MUA
It's like six hours.
Laura Lee
Yeah, it's like.
Manny MUA
It's definitely a long. Yeah, it's a long. It's a long time. So it's definitely like. It'll be a journey for sure.
Laura Lee
Love all that. My peak is. Oh, I went to Venice Fest this weekend.
Sponsor
Oh, yeah.
Laura Lee
It was so fun. I met some full fam out there.
Manny MUA
Oh, my God. No way.
Laura Lee
Yes, I live. I love it. So fun. So Venice Fest is like, in Venice beach, where like hundreds vendors come together and just like their little tents and they sell all kinds of things. Where I got this necklace I'm wearing, but I just love it. Me and Ty went. We went last year too. It was so much fun.
Manny MUA
So is it like kind of almost like an actual, like, wait, it's like a swap meet?
Laura Lee
Yeah.
Manny MUA
Of like, Venice.
Laura Lee
Kind of like a swap meet. They have it like once a year. It's called Venice Fest. Yep. Little tents and there's like hundreds of them. And they have food, like crazy food trucks and everything by the beach is so much fun.
Manny MUA
I kind of love that, actually.
Laura Lee
I know it sounds fun. It is. It's so much fun.
Manny MUA
Did you go. If it's two times, did you go both times?
Laura Lee
I have. I have I went last year.
Manny MUA
It's like, what's it called? Not a routine. It's a tradition at this point. Yeah, it's become a tradition.
Laura Lee
It's an annual.
Manny MUA
I love that. I know that sounds fun. Especially, like, Venice is great when it's clean.
Laura Lee
I want to live at the beach. I know. I want to live at the beach so bad here in la. But the problem for me is, like, it's actually really cold and gloomy at the beach.
Manny MUA
And I was like, it's kind of freezing by the beach, by the water.
Laura Lee
You think, like, our beaches are just, like, burning hot. And yes, they have those moments, but, like, spring, fall, for most of the time, it's cold.
Manny MUA
So, like, the marine layer.
Laura Lee
It is. It's the marine layer.
Manny MUA
Imagine you're living there, honestly, most of.
Laura Lee
The months and gloomy. They don't get that much sun. Shine.
Manny MUA
Sh, sh, sh.
Laura Lee
Shine. So it kind of compared to the.
Manny MUA
Where we live now, it's like, sunning kind of, like, all the time.
Laura Lee
And it's beautiful weather. Like when you're in the city.
Manny MUA
Yep.
Laura Lee
So there's that.
Manny MUA
It's a marine layer.
Laura Lee
It's the marine lair, Obviously.
Manny MUA
It'll like, tear you.
Laura Lee
Pissing me the off. Manny, get rid of it.
Manny MUA
I know. I'm trying to. I can only do so much.
Laura Lee
You're not doing enough. We're sick.
Manny MUA
Okay, guys, so why don't we dig in to Love Island? I like. I have these coasters here. I don't want to play with them. Love Island. You done pissed me off, dv.
Laura Lee
Okay, first of all, there's gonna be spoilers because we're caught up.
Manny MUA
Actually, this is five days in advance. Like, you guys have seen this, so it probably won't even be, like, super sweaty. We're only 17. No, I swear. Look, look. Look at Peacock. Look at it right now. I swear to you, I think last night's episode was 17, and tonight is Casa Amore. Oh, am I right? Are we. Are we close? Are we on the 17?
Laura Lee
You can't watch Casa More, Laura.
Manny MUA
Don't even.
Laura Lee
If we could go back and watch.
Manny MUA
Don't even, because I have a dinner. I have a work dinner tonight, and I have an early morning, and I'm still watching after dinner.
Laura Lee
Yeah, you're gonna piss me off with that. Casa More is here. Look, they show all the new girls.
Manny MUA
Oh, my God.
Laura Lee
Yeah, the app. You can see everything they show them on the app.
Manny MUA
I'm gagged.
Laura Lee
Oh, you were right. First look at episode 19.
Manny MUA
Oh, my God.
Laura Lee
So we're 18. I'm gagged. I thought we were on like seven.
Manny MUA
No, literally, you're like, I thought we're on episode 10.

Manny MUA
Okay, guys, so let's talk. This is spoilers. Let's just like say right now, if you're watching the season, this is spoilers. So you want to skip ahead a little bit. So last night, the Islanders decided to.
Laura Lee
Eliminate two people and America got to.
Manny MUA
Choose the bottom and top three.
Laura Lee
The bottom and top three. So they got to. America got to vote who they want to stay in the house. And then it leaves with three girls and three guys and the Islanders get to choose which out of the three girls and which out of the three guys which one they want to send home. So they're saying the Islanders sent home a girl, they're sending home a guy. My big question is I'm so shocked and surprised that Huda stayed based off America's votes, not based off, you know, the other people in the villas votes and Jeremiah didn't get enough votes to stay.
Manny MUA
That's crazy. So thing is, I'm like, how is it that Huda got enough votes to say and Jeremiah did not get?
Laura Lee
I don't know. Because online, yes, Jeremiah does catch some hands, but Huda is really the one.
Manny MUA
She's like, baby, it's hurricane, Hurricane.
Laura Lee
So I don't understand. I was very surprised by that.
Manny MUA
I wonder If America likes the mess, though.
Laura Lee
They do.
Manny MUA
Part of me thinks, like, but I.
Laura Lee
Didn'T think America was aware that they like their mess.
Manny MUA
That's true.
Laura Lee
That's what tricked me. America is obsessed with the mess and the drama that Huda brings. But I didn't know America was aware. Do you think they were so aware?
Manny MUA
You know, I think about that too, because I'm like, I know that. But people, like, they love to hate Hooda, but the season wouldn't be what it is without her. So it's like you don't realize. No, they don't know that. And people don't realize that, like, you actually do kind of need, like a villain for a show because it gives a lot of, like, ebbs and flows and plots to like things. And without her, it wouldn't have been nearly as good without her in the show. So. But usually people don't realize that, like, oh, that's why it's like good tv.
Laura Lee
Like, were we all self aware that this is a good show because of her?
Manny MUA
Right? But I don't know if they are voting. I'm. Oh, my God. Like, what if they do know? They're like, no, we need to keep her in. Or they just had to be messy. Maybe they just want to be messy. Like, what? They want to see her, like, try to get Jeremiah back.
Laura Lee
I saw so many funny tiktoks where remember that America voted and split up Hooda and Jeremiah and it was like me on my phone, you know, we just be cute and funny and then watch the next episode.
Manny MUA
So like the crash out of all.
Laura Lee
Crash out, it was like beyond literally thought it was going to be the.
Manny MUA
Cool thing about Love island too. Guys, if you guys do not watch, is that like America, like, people that are watching have like, little bit of say in things like throughout the show. Like, for example, if there's a couple that's together and like, the challenge is like, oh, America's gonna vote and see who's gonna get separated. Like, America decides who's separated. So they have like an app for it, all this kind of stuff. So it makes it even more fun and more engaging. There's five new episodes a week. Another part that makes it really fun because it's like you're not actually waiting tons of episodes. No, I mean technically six with after some. But I don't watch after sun. So I know it's like that extra thing. But tonight, Casa more Jeremiah going home. The reason it pissed me off is because I feel like I hate seeing like, Ace being like, the ringleader of.
Laura Lee
The house, he made that call.
Manny MUA
He made like, babe, I would need them to show the footage back to not to believe that, like, I want to see it. I want to see it during, like, little movie night or whatever they do. I want to see what had, what was said, what is happening. Because I feel like Ace has had a hard on for Jeremiah and Huda for so long that he, like, just wants them out.
Laura Lee
Like, he doesn't like them where he doesn't like them. He's made that clear. He can't see stand Jeremiah. And I do feel like Jeremiah definitely love bombs. I said that somewhere online and people were like, no, actually, if you watch it back, Hood is the love bomber. And she is. She was also love bombing.
Manny MUA
Yeah.
Laura Lee
So I can't agree with that. But I think that me and Manny were conspiring. We were like, we feel like the new girl. I can't remember her name. The new bombshell, you know, Ace shot a little shot. She wasn't.
Manny MUA
He was interested.
Laura Lee
Interested. He showed a little interest in her. I don't think she showed any interest in him. But then Jeremiah and her were really hitting it off immediately. And so me and Mandy were like, did that piss. Is that what pissed Ace off about me?
Manny MUA
I honestly think that he. Ace, feels threatened by Jeremiah in a way, because the thing is, at the end of the day, too, it is also a game and it's a show, and, like, you can win at the end. So I do think that there's aspects where, like, he was like, oh, well, Jeremiah is like, a really also hot guy. And, like, they were in a. He was in a couple with Huda. Now he could be in a great couple with Andriana. So he's like, I think we need to get him out. Because I feel like in his mind, he's like, well, me and Shelly are like, the most sure thing and, like, they want to win. And I'm like, I don't know that.
Laura Lee
Him and Shelly would win.
Manny MUA
On my watch. They're not winning.
Laura Lee
I feel like Alondra and Taylor have it over him and Shelly watch.
Manny MUA
Ace is not winning.
Laura Lee
I feel like Shelley, though.
Manny MUA
Love Shelley.
Laura Lee
I feel like Taylor and Alondra and I feel like Sierra, Nick. Based off what happens in casa, I think Alondra and Taylor will be good, but I think Nick and Sierra, I'm scared for them.
Manny MUA
I'm scared.
Laura Lee
But if they do make it out of casa more, I feel like it would be Nick and Sierra versus Taylor and Alantra. Number one spot. I don't think Ace has a chance necessarily.
Manny MUA
I don't either. I literally am like, girl. What?
Laura Lee
Like, a lot can happen, though.
Manny MUA
That's true. I mean, also, yes, there's like 50 to 60.
Laura Lee
Yes.
Manny MUA
There's so many. That also makes it fun, too, because I'm like, oh, my God. You're actually getting to watch, like, a show for, like, a long amount of time. There's a lot of episodes. Like, it's fun to queue with your friends about it. I would definitely recommend watching Love island this season. And honestly, watching us last season, that's kind of what, like, created the US Hype. Because last season was so good in the United States. Love Island. So that's what's made it, like, people even tune in for this season because how good it was.
Laura Lee
It was really good, too. I started because, like, the American version's a little newer.
Manny MUA
The Mora season I watched.
Laura Lee
Yes. Such a good. The UK has some of the best seasons.
Manny MUA
You know, Moore Higgins is going to be on Traitors the next season.
Laura Lee
Oh, yeah, I saw that.
Manny MUA
I was gagged.
Laura Lee
This next season, they released all the cast of Traitors.
Manny MUA
I can't wait.
Laura Lee
Lisa Rinna's in it. I feel like I love her so much. I'm gonna fight someone if they kick her out first, but I feel like.
Manny MUA
She'S gonna be a traitor.
Laura Lee
She could probably. She'd be the best trader. The best trader. But I feel like all the loud, dramatic people in the house get sent home first.
Sponsor
Yeah.
Laura Lee
Lisa Rena's loud, dramatic. I'll be so sad.
Manny MUA
What's the other one that went home last season? That was really quick. Durind. Was it Dorinda or something that was that blonde? Yeah. I can't remember her name.
Laura Lee
She's back on.
Sponsor
Yeah.
Manny MUA
Because she went home so quick.
Laura Lee
And they were like. I just drooled.
Manny MUA
The producer.
Laura Lee
Sorry. It's all the Botox, but Laura's like.
Manny MUA
I'm so upset right now.
Laura Lee
Sorry. I'm frozen.
Sponsor
I'm so fucking.
Manny MUA
I'm actually not frozen at all. I need to go.
Laura Lee
Let me see your portal. Don't let me see it. Oh, yeah. There's so much.
Manny MUA
That's a lot of emotion right there.
Laura Lee
I have a little, but I asked her to give me some. Move.
Manny MUA
You wanted some? A little bit.
Laura Lee
You gotta let me emote.
Manny MUA
Wait, do it again. Oh, no. Yeah, I'm emoting territory. But it's so good, you guys. You have to.
Laura Lee
Manny, I can't really see how you're feeling right now. You need a Botox.
Manny MUA
Let's bring it down. I need to be there was someone.
Laura Lee
Speaking about like I forgot to get.
Manny MUA
My right hand of tan.
Laura Lee
Oh, I see that.
Manny MUA
Oh shit.
Laura Lee
And that someone was speaking about like I guess like women in society and like their forehead was like frozen solid like a brick. So fucking pissed right now. They were like, you know, women are held such as a higher standard.
Manny MUA
And the face was like, girl, she has full facelift. So sickening. So be she's like, titties higher standard. She's like this.
Laura Lee
They're like, why are they such high standards for women? I'm like, jesus, why take the will Jesus take the wheel. Listen, I shouldn't. I will never be the spokesperson.
Manny MUA
Oh no. But I am also like, yes. If I want to change something, I will. Like I all for.
Laura Lee
We're all about honesty and transparency, baby.
Manny MUA
I will always say if I'm like doing something.
Laura Lee
Okay. Is that all of our rundown for Love Island?
Manny MUA
I think so. Cuz that was the most upsetting cuz this literally just happened yesterday and we watched Hannah home.
Laura Lee
We want to say anything about.
Manny MUA
I also. That didn't make any sense to me cuz I feel like Hannah and Pepe, they were literally like. They were like a couple.
Laura Lee
Like I was supposed to be with the new guy.
Manny MUA
Yes.
Laura Lee
Tj.
Manny MUA
Yep. But see, Irish should have gone home or.
Laura Lee
Who was the third God? Amaya. You can't send Amaya home.
Manny MUA
No, I love her. Me too.
Laura Lee
I see a little of myself because.
Manny MUA
She'S kind of manic.
Laura Lee
So it's like. Like I feel like if I were on the show, I wouldn't be fully Amaya. Like she's her own person. But I see a little bit.
Manny MUA
You see some of your stuff in.
Laura Lee
There and like I. There's something so lovable about her.
Manny MUA
It's because honestly, it's so funny because with Amaya I actually feel like you get what you get with her.
Laura Lee
Yeah.
Manny MUA
And I think because she has that trait, America's like falling for her because she has this thing where she wears on her seat. She really does. And I think that because she's actually really honest and even at times when she's like. She was like to Huda, I remember when she was like, I think it's really weird that you pulled him. Like she was like honest about stuff to even her friends. And Huda, who's like her good friend in there, she literally was like, I think it's really weird that you pulled them. And like I didn't think that was appropriate.
Laura Lee
Yeah.
Manny MUA
And I'm like, the fact that I even said that to her was like, not only is she a good friend, she's a girl's girl, but she's a good friend too. Like, because she actually was telling her like, what it fucking was.
Laura Lee
And she's super light hearted and goofy and it's kind of when she fell fishing in a world of Manny said, that's me. It was me. That was me. Her face too.
Manny MUA
She was just so excited. I was like, I felt her excitement. I know I don't like, honestly, none of the boys like her. Austin and Ace didn't deserve her.
Laura Lee
They did.
Manny MUA
Austin pissing me off, by the way. She does.
Laura Lee
That's the point.
Manny MUA
No, she does. And I actually do feel. I'm like, oh. What he's actually saying is pretty valid and what he's saying, because I actually do see it, but it still pisses me off.
Laura Lee
Sitting in his lap, calling him baby, baby, our kids. Yeah. I was like, amaya, no, she's just two days and Austin's like, okay, she's gotta find the guy that wants that. Like, it takes a. A specific guy that's like into the obsessive, like, really quick.
Manny MUA
You can, you can wear your heart in your sleeve, but you like, you can be a lot too. You can be both.
Laura Lee
You got to be co. You got to be co. You got to be coy.
Manny MUA
You have to be at least like, you know, there's a game to it. There's a no. 1 thing with Maya doesn't have his.
Laura Lee
Coyness, but there's a guy out there for her for sure. And I can't wait that behavior.
Manny MUA
And I'm hoping that like in casa, she actually, like, there's someone there that would like it.
Laura Lee
I bet she does.
Manny MUA
But have you noticed that when people walk in because they say like, oh. Who they're most interested in? Like, oh, I'm really interested in seeing the link. No one has said.
Laura Lee
No one said, am I?
Manny MUA
No one said am I?
Laura Lee
Because she comes on too strong. No one's also said he's trying to paint her. I know. Or Huda or Hooda as try to pay. Amaya is crazy and we didn't buy it. But the guys he was trying to be like, she's too much. She's crazy.
Manny MUA
100%.
Laura Lee
Ace and Amaya, though, now that I see their personalities more, they could not. They clash worse.
Manny MUA
Horrible. But I love it when she went off on him on the dock, she was like. And I literally was like, this is Val. Am I fine?
Laura Lee
That was Val, I texted Al and said that Amaya is her and we haven't gotten a response.
Manny MUA
You're lying.
Laura Lee
I'm just kidding. No, she said. She said she's going to block tie, though. It wasn't good. It wasn't good. But there's something so bad.
Manny MUA
It's just something so endear. It isn't endearing. Endearing quality.
Laura Lee
Yes, yes.
Manny MUA
We love Amaya. We love out.
Laura Lee
This episode must be insufferable for people who don't watch.
Manny MUA
Don't watch. I'm so sorry. You're not. You're going to pass. We're going to move on. We're going to move on to the. I will put a time stamp when we're getting to the actual topic right now. Okay. Which one we talk about first? What's our first key?
Laura Lee
I think we should Kiki. We have two Tana situations. So first, Kathy McBroom. Austin McBroom. On the caller Dotty podcast, they bring up a pretty big, fiery little.
Manny MUA
That was a good thing. That was a very public.
Laura Lee
It was a moment where there was a lip liner. It got confused with lip gloss and a lipstick.
Manny MUA
Lip liner.
Laura Lee
It was a lip liner.
Manny MUA
Lip stain.
Laura Lee
It was a lip. Was it a lip stain? Was it a plumping cloth?
Manny MUA
Was it the too faced extreme?
Laura Lee
Was it high shine? We don't know.
Manny MUA
Was it matte?
Laura Lee
We don't know. But it was a lip liner. From what the FDA, FBI told us.
Manny MUA
From what we FBI report, Internet.
Laura Lee
Austin McBroom. Catherine gets in his car. She finds a girl's lip liner. It's not hers. Shit's about to go down.
Manny MUA
She's like, what the hell is this?
Laura Lee
Already been caught up cheating. And it's like, now we got a lip liner underneath the seat. So she's skeptical. He's like, call Tana. She will tell you it's hers. Because he thought it was Tana's because Hannah was in the car. Car. And he knew for a fact it wasn't a girl in this situation. So Tana says they FaceTime and he's B his eyes out. And you know, Catherine's like, that was awesome. Now this is where Tana comes in. And you know, I think, did Catherine say on call her daddy that Tana lied?
Manny MUA
I think so.
Laura Lee
Yeah. I think. And so Tana was like, let me just say my piece. Tana's like, I got a podcast. Let me just say what really happened. Like, this guy's balling his eyes out. And I was just like, yeah, it's mine. But it wasn't Tanner.
Manny MUA
So then. So now she's actually finally addressed the situation because Catherine went on call her daddy and they talked about it, and she was just kind of like, you know, rehashing kind of the situation, what had happened and, like, how it made her feel, you know. And I honestly, like. I like that Catherine's been, like, so open about everything, by the way, like, seeing her, like, doing these, like, press moments because of the book. And I like, definitely more on her side in comparison, obviously, but seeing how she felt about it. And Tana was like, well, like, at the time, like, I was just like, you know, I was just a kid, and I was just trying to be a friend or whatever.
Laura Lee
And, like, Austin's bawling his eyes out, and she was like, I was put on the spot, you know, she was. And Tana's so young. Tana's still so young.
Manny MUA
But I forget. She's so young, by the way.
Laura Lee
I know.
Manny MUA
So I forget all the time.
Laura Lee
Started as an infant.
Manny MUA
You're literally an infant.
Laura Lee
Started shit online as an infant.
Manny MUA
You're pissing me off how young you are.
Laura Lee
I know. It makes me. Me so mad. I wish. I wish. But here we are. But anyway, so Tana, I think the beef was like, tana, why don't you tell the truth and say that wasn't yours? But the thing is, at the end of the day, the girls who it was came out, and it was not a girl. Austin was hooking up with Austin. I can't remember the girl's name. It's like an influencer. But she was like, it was mine. It wasn't a lip gloss. It was a lip liner. And he slammed on. He was driving us home around the block, which is what he said. Said he was doing. And he slammed on brakes. My purse flipped upside down. I can believe that.
Manny MUA
That happens all the time.
Laura Lee
So my went everywhere, and I guess the. The lip liner rolled underneath the seat, but it's mine, and my boyfriend was with me. She said her boyfriend or whatever was with her, I believe. So end of the day, he wasn't cheating in that moment. Like, the girl came out, I would.
Manny MUA
Be like, you're cheating. Oh, I. If I was Catherine, I'd be like.
Laura Lee
I would have never believed the Tana or any. I would have believed any. I'd be like, this man's cheating because she just can't after he's done so much.
Manny MUA
Exactly. It honestly was more of an unfortunate, like, it was situation because it's like Tana's kind of covering up for him.
Laura Lee
Like, Tanner just got thrown in the middle.
Manny MUA
She did. She. Andrew got tossed in.
Laura Lee
Sure, it's mine.
Manny MUA
She was like, I guess, what shade was it?
Laura Lee
I do feel like she got thrown in the middle, and I'm glad I do.
Manny MUA
Like, that the girl came out. That one was like, listen, we. There was no cheating. The freaking liner rolled out of my purse. They slammed on the brakes. Like, I'm glad that, like, the situation came out of what it was, or at least what that said it was.
Laura Lee
But that's what happens whenever you cheat constantly and you're dirty. It's like crying wolf. And then you get in these situations. So, you know, good for Tana for speaking up and, like, saying her piece and the girl coming out. So that was just like, a situation of the past.
Manny MUA
Cleared up one thing, like, kind of like, I feel like Catherine was saying, like, she was, like, upset that, like, Tanner, like, had aired it and I aired it and made, like, a public thing. But I'm like, I don't know. I feel like it's weird because I.
Laura Lee
Feel like Catherine's mad that Tanner responded now.
Manny MUA
No, no, at the time. At the time.
Laura Lee
I don't remember Tana responding back then. What did she say?
Manny MUA
Well, she had, like, made a video about it. She was literally like, well, that's how we found out that, like, the situation had even happened in the first place.
Laura Lee
And Austin were battling on Twitter right before the Bryce hall fight.
Manny MUA
Yep.
Laura Lee
Yes. It came back to me. That's exactly what happened.
Manny MUA
Exactly why?
Laura Lee
So I don't know if you guys.
Manny MUA
She's like. And it wasn't my lip liner.
Laura Lee
Yes, yes. Okay, I get it now. I see where Catherine's like, yeah, she's like, don't bring this up.
Manny MUA
So it was like more of, like, a public.
Laura Lee
It became like, a public coming for Tana.
Manny MUA
Well, he's coming for Bryce too. Like, during that situation, like, during the team price on God, that was literally that Bryce versus Austin.
Laura Lee
So then Austin was tweeting things. So Tana got her jab, and it was just collateral damage.
Manny MUA
And Catherine was collateral.
Laura Lee
And I get it. I get Catherine being upset, but also when you're married to a messy ass bitch like Austin, you got a deal.
Manny MUA
Like, honestly, if you're in. The thing is too. I feel like with these situations, with these fights that were happening, they wanted to. To drum up the most amount of drama possible during them for the fight. So, like, it made sense that Tanner's even talking about it, like, every. All the.
Laura Lee
And Tina knew that too.
Manny MUA
Yeah, yeah.
Laura Lee
All the.
Manny MUA
All the press to get to the fight. That was like the whole point.
Laura Lee
We teamed Bryce on God.
Manny MUA
Even paparazzi teamed Bryce on God.
Laura Lee
I said that for a month straight. Dana, you're sick.
Manny MUA
Dana. Like this.
Laura Lee
Yeah.
Manny MUA
The little look back, like with her little sleeves. I think the paparazzi team. That's on God.
Laura Lee
I fucking live for that.
Manny MUA
That was like. That's one of the most iconic tana.
Laura Lee
Isms I've ever heard. That goes like top 10.
Manny MUA
Yeah, that's history. That's top five.

Laura Lee
Yeah, because I. We want the tail.
Manny MUA
No, and it's funny. It's called. She was like, 10. I just talked. I was like, this is years ago. I was cracking up. Like, Alex. Really? She was like. Heather just talked about.
Laura Lee
It's like. She didn't.
Manny MUA
She didn't actually. That was years ago.
Laura Lee
But anyway.
Manny MUA
But yeah, so that was. You know, I didn't like that she talked about it. It was public. It just became a public thing. Yeah, she talked about it.
Laura Lee
Love that tea.
Manny MUA
That was. That. I mean, there was like. No, like, really?
Laura Lee
There was never, like, a huge beef. It was just like, her side.
Manny MUA
When you have Austin as a man, it's a disaster.
Sponsor
It's a mess.
Laura Lee
It's not. No one WINS When Austin McGregor, man. No one wins. It's a lose, lose, babe. So good for Catherine. Good for Tana.
Manny MUA
Good for them. World peace, honestly, as long as the girls are happy.
Laura Lee
Yeah, I'm happy. Exactly.
Manny MUA
And fuck men.
Laura Lee
And fuck men, period. Also. Okay, next subject is with Tana.
Manny MUA
She just trailed. Right, Right. Like this.
Laura Lee
Tana recently, which I did see this because I was like, I'm interested. Okay. This is popcorn. Most drama I don't give a fuck about. But this, I was kind of like, what's going on? So they were like, Tana Booker battling.
Manny MUA
Well, it's also because, like, we have a podcast, so we, like, can see differently because, like, oh, my God, like, their friends have a podcast. Like, why, like, why would they end their podcast kind of thing?
Laura Lee
So they announced that they are ending cancel, which everybody was shocked. But right before that, the girls had a couple public battles because during their tour, they chose to air this footage of, like, her and Brooke battling about.
Manny MUA
I was gagged.
Laura Lee
You know, Tana not showing up on time and stuff like that. And so it was a pretty big, steamy fight. And then it was like, shortly after that, they announced that once their network contract is up with a podcast, they're gonna be pausing and, like, stepping away for a bit and maybe bringing it back. They don't know. They left that up in the air, but it happened right after they had Kind of aired that fight. So people were like, tannis, over Brooke, like, all the comments.
Manny MUA
It became that.
Laura Lee
It became that. I can see how it became that. But Tana, I think, has kind of said over and over again, like, no.
Manny MUA
Like, it's not Brooke. She's literally, like, actually defends Brooke a lot when it comes to this topic. And she's always commenting like, I love Brooke. Like, that's my diva. That's my sister. But I think that when the. That video, which, like, that was. They played on tour, so that started circulating. So because that was already happening on tour, they just correlated. Oh, you guys are battling, you guys are fighting. So therefore, you guys are enemies, you know? But that wasn't the case. I think that honestly, they're. I feel like Tana especially too, like, because she does the podcast with Trisha. She will do guests on podcast. She was doing the one with Logan, with Jeff for a while, and then having canceled, I'm like, she's probably just, like, burning the candle at both ends, and she's just going and going and going and going, and she probably like, bitch, I'm tired. I want to take a break.
Laura Lee
I need a break.
Manny MUA
You know what I mean? I feel like that's kind of where she's.
Laura Lee
I feel like it's more her than just based off what I've seen. I mean, I don't know their personal conversations, but I do feel like it's her more than Brooke wanting to pause on this podcast. For sure. I feel the vibes that it's like, more Tana pushing to, like, end it, not end it or just pause it.
Manny MUA
Take a little break.
Laura Lee
But, yeah, they were waiting till their contracts up, I heard them say in their episode. And then I was really surprised, to be honest. I was shocked because the cancel podcast is so big. But Loki, everything Hannah does is really big.
Manny MUA
Yeah. 100.
Laura Lee
So it's kind of like, I don't know, I could see her being burnt the living out.
Manny MUA
Me too.
Laura Lee
I will tell you this. If I did all the things Tana does and, like, all the podcasts and all the touring and all, I would lose my. My mind so much. And she's been doing it for years and years and years, and now Tana has, like.
Manny MUA
I mean, touring is one of the beasts.
Laura Lee
Tana's got Coin Tata. Coin Tata. So it's like she's working herself to death from what I can see.
Manny MUA
Yeah. What it looks like.
Laura Lee
And I think she just needs a break.
Manny MUA
I honestly think that's what it is.
Laura Lee
I think she Needs a break.
Manny MUA
I don't think that it's what people think it is, and I don't think it's some type of. Of like, oh, my God, they hate each other. I really don't. I think that they actually love each other a lot. And I think Tana's like, bro, I'm, like, running myself thin. And I'm like, I think she wants.
Laura Lee
To go be in Hawaii.
Manny MUA
Me too. With her man. I think, too. I think that she wants to just be, like, a happy. Go lucky girly with her man.
Laura Lee
I just watched Tana's haul from, like, Paris, I think, and her and her man are in it, and I'm just, like, so deeply enthralled with their relationship, and I love them so much. And Santana seems, like the happiest she's ever seemed.
Manny MUA
I thought the same thing. So I love seeing them together.
Laura Lee
I feel like she's happy to be with her man and just take a little break and be happy.
Manny MUA
Me too.
Laura Lee
But it is shocking. It's.
Manny MUA
I mean, it's crazy because it's so big. And the thing is, I also think that, like, for me, if it was me, I'd be like, let's just not tour then. Like, you know, I mean, I was like, let's just. I would feel like I would want to take just, like, things away so I can still do other things, because I can't imagine how hard it would be to do, like, United States tours or, like, Europe tours on top of doing the episodes. Like, I'm like, how do you even do that physically? Because the touring is the part that, like, gags me.
Laura Lee
Gags.
Manny MUA
That's so hard.
Laura Lee
So hard.
Manny MUA
Hard on your body, on your mental everything.
Laura Lee
Brooke and Dana or Havintana's like, I want to show up five minutes before we go on stage.
Manny MUA
Absolutely. She's like, bitch, you can't do that.
Laura Lee
So it's just like, the burnout will cause the crash out.
Manny MUA
To me, it just, like, low key makes sense because I just feel like it would be so hard to do it, like, and also do, like, Jeff's. And then also. In what world? No, not happening.
Laura Lee
Next on our list, Justin Bieber.
Manny MUA
Oh, my God. His crash out.
Laura Lee
He had a crash out. He had a crash out with the Pops.
Manny MUA
I feel like, what's not clocking, too?
Laura Lee
I. What's not clocking?
Manny MUA
What's not clocking?
Laura Lee
I feel like we've seen this time and time again where the paparazzi makes celebrities crazy, though.
Manny MUA
100. I honestly blame the Pops.
Laura Lee
We've Seen it with Ben Affleck acting up, like, you know, going the off. Kanye going the off. Just like, we've seen it time and time. Like, the paparazzi and media makes celebrities go insane. I don't know if that's the only thing going on.
Manny MUA
I don't think so. I think there's definitely things happening.
Laura Lee
I think they're perpetual.
Manny MUA
I don't think you're going to. I also don't think you're going to act like that if, like, everything's happy, go lucky, to be quite honest. So I think that there's definitely probably something. Some underlining things, but recently there was a video of Justin that went viral and it's like, paparazzi. And he's literally like, you guys need to stop, like, basically following me. Stop harassing me. You guys are like, on private property. And they're like, no, we're on the sidewalk. And honestly, like, even the hearing the paparazzi talk, I'm like, you guys are so annoying.
Laura Lee
I know. They sound.
Manny MUA
Piss me off.
Laura Lee
They sound so.
Manny MUA
You guys sound so horrible. And it's like, I don't give a. That's your job. Find another job. Like, they're so annoying. And I could understand celebs probably being so frustrated by, like, just their invasion of privacy constantly. It just seems crazy to me.
Laura Lee
Like, I get it, people are saying he should leave la, but it's. It is too.
Manny MUA
It's la, though.
Laura Lee
I know, I know that's hard to.
Manny MUA
I saw the same thing. I saw that people were like, well, maybe he just needs to, like, have some time for himself and leave la. But it's like, how do you leave, like a hub for your career, essentially, and Haley's career. Yes, exactly. It's like, hard to, like, I don't think that he should have to leave LA for the sake of wanting to be having a little privacy though, either. Like, I don't think that's fair. So it's like, at the end of the day, even what they're saying, like, oh, you're a public figure or public figure. Yeah, he is, but that does not mean that he's not a person at the same time. So it's like, I do feel like they just treat him like, what do.
Laura Lee
You think is going on with him?
Manny MUA
I. I literally don't know. I feel like there's definitely concern because to me, because even Justin says he's like, I'm not well. Like, he literally publicly says, like, I'm not doing well. So it's like, I think there's definitely something going on. I just don't know what it is. I also feel like, like because he got famous so young so early, I think he's been like traumatized by that. I think that this had a lot of like bad effects on his mental health because of the fame so young that like, you know, they say that fame is a trauma in a way.
Laura Lee
Yeah.
Manny MUA
And I think that Justin has had fame so young for so long that he's been traumatized for all these years.
Laura Lee
Yeah, Justin, like even as a little kid, he's never been able to go into a store. He's never been able to like grocery shop. He's never been able to like do any of the thing. I'm not trying to buy pity for him.
Sponsor
No.
Laura Lee
Same stating that, that his life has always been so different from everybody else's just because the fame was at such a young age. So he's never known at such a high level. Yes.
Manny MUA
Justin Bieber was just, I mean it's.
Laura Lee
One of the most famous people in the world as a child. So when it's that kind of high level, like you have to live a completely different life than society your entire life, you'll have to like live completely different. And I think the people he's been involved with, I think the people he's been around and just all of it warps you. I mean he was a little kid around huge influential adults. Yeah.
Manny MUA
I mean we saw his videos. Like it's a lot, it's just a lot.
Laura Lee
It's a lot.
Sponsor
I feel like.
Manny MUA
But I think that because of like where he's at in his age now, like that stuff will just catch up to eventually.
Laura Lee
I think it's catching up.
Manny MUA
I think it's catching up and I think that he's probably like having these crash outs because he's been in the game for so long and he's probably so tired of this public facing thing. Like I honestly feel like, I feel like with Justin, I feel like he actually doesn't want to be famous. Like yeah, I feel that now at his point. Yeah, he's like at this point now he's like, I don't want to be famous anymore because he's already like kind of like checked out and he's already done the things he wants to do. He's probably, probably like, I'm like, this is crazy. I want privacy. I think that people, when they get into the fame in the public light, they don't realize how intense it is really.
Laura Lee
By, I mean, I mean it can in A way.
Manny MUA
But it can't.
Laura Lee
It can, but it can't. Yeah.
Manny MUA
So I think that's one of those things.
Laura Lee
Seclude yourself in the middle of nowhere. Sure. It can buy.
Manny MUA
That's horrible. Who wants to live that?
Laura Lee
I know.
Manny MUA
So it's like, I think that there's. There's aspects of it because it obviously, fame comes so many perks and privileges that, like, are just beyond our wildest dreams. And then there's also, like, the dark side of it, which there is a lot of darkness to Hollywood and fame and everything that gets thrown in there. So I think that. That we're seeing some of that kind of manifest and, like, the way he's acting and the things he says and like, even, like, I thought, like, for. Even reminds me of the caption of, like, him being, like, I told Hill, you should never be the COVID of Vogue. I thought that was wild that he even said that and posted. It was like, I told her that. Where it's like. I think it's one of those things where it's like, I just don't think things are the same. The wires aren't, like, crossing. Like, I don't think that there's a lot of, like, you know, tactics and normal, like, things that normal people would probably feel in situations because he's been so enabled for so long. He doesn't have, like, he probably just doesn't have those social cues that people would have. And I think a lot of celebrities at that level probably don't either.
Laura Lee
Yeah, you know, celebrities at his level don't have social media, but because Justin's so young, he does. But, like, most big actors and stuff, like, they don't even have social, like, bitch. No, no. Like Scarlett Johansson, Dakota Johnson, like, Ben Affleck, not Brad Pitt. None of them have a social media page. And, like, they don't. But he's. He's so young, so he's going to.
Manny MUA
Yeah. Anybody wants. He just wants to have one. So I don't know. It's tough. I feel. I feel bad and like, honestly, watching the video, I feel bad for him. Like, I. And like, yeah, I became a meme. And it's funny to be like, oh, my God, what's not clocky? And stuff like that. But at the end of the day, it is sad and, like, what he's saying, I do feel like it has a lot of merit for what he is saying.
Laura Lee
Like, and I, like, I agree it with them, but I get. It's like talking to them is just giving them more content like, and he's.
Manny MUA
Like, you're gonna take out of context and like, it's going to be spun in a certain type of way. Which it was. And it, and it is. But it's just like, it's. It's just sad to see because it's literally like, it looks like they're like seeing a monkey and they're like recording the monkey, like, dance, monkey, dance. And it literally feels like that in a way. And it's like, does he deserve that because he's famous? I don't think so.
Laura Lee
No.
Manny MUA
You know what I mean? But people could, people could think that they could be like, well, oh, you're a famous public figure. Yeah. But does that mean that they're like, not human anymore? I don't know. So I think, I think that they deserve at least respect.
Laura Lee
Yeah.
Manny MUA
You know, in. In some capacities. So I don't know. I think it's. The whole thing is really like sad and unfortunate and I feel bad for him.
Laura Lee
Yeah.
Manny MUA
And I feel bad for Haley.
Laura Lee
Me too.
Manny MUA
Cuz they, they probably just have to deal with a lot of it together.
Laura Lee
And they have another divorce rumor going every week. Every week. I'm like, this is so old.
Manny MUA
It's so old.
Laura Lee
When they sign the papers, I'll believe you.
Manny MUA
100.
Laura Lee
So old.
Manny MUA
Well, because they just probably use that as like the click, the banger, the grabber.

Manny MUA
So I've been actually seeing this and it's been popping up on my fyp. So I have like a illustrious history with Lashify. There's lore, there's lore. I've had like, so there's this brand called Lashify and they've been in the game for, you know, a long time. And they have these like Lash clusters that they've patented and like they've made a thing. And back in the day I did a video, I reviewed the lashes and I didn't like, love them. I thought they were kind of confusing and I was just like, you know, it's not my thing, it's not my vibe. I just don't really like the cluster thing. I wanted to do a regular lash. So they didn't like that review. And like the owner didn't like their review. They thought I was like doing it wrong on purpose. And I was just like, no, I just think it's kind of a confusing thing and it's just not my. It's not my tea. But it got into like a weird spot and I had felt like they were like saying like, oh, well, you'll never you'll always be a manual. You're like a true. Not everyone wants to be a drag queen. And like, it felt like kind of homophobic in a way at the time. Yeah, basically it felt. It felt like they were saying like, our lashes aren't for guys anyway. Like, they would never work on you. And so I remember thinking like this. I literally publicly was like, what the fuck does that even mean? And I remember kind of going off on the brand, being like, what are you fucking talking about? So I remember back in the day too, they had like gotten my number from my order because I bought them myself, got my number for my order and texted me, shitting on me and like shredding me. Like, the owner texting me personally taking my number from my order, which I thought was literally scary. Crazy.
Laura Lee
So scary.
Manny MUA
So scary. So crazy. And they were like threatening me and I was like, this feels crazy. I just bought the product and reviewed it the way I would want to review. I'm sorry if I didn't do it the way you want me to review. But I just reviewed it the way I wanted to review it.
Sponsor
So I had always had a bad.
Manny MUA
Taste in my mouth with that situation. Fast forward now. We're with Bethenny Frankel makes a public statement about last year. I'd be like, don't you ever fucking come for me. I don't give a fuck.
Laura Lee
Basically threatened to sue her because she was like, I guess using a competitor's brand brand when they had sent her the lashes, which is, by the way, just absolutely diabolical, like insane. So the answer, wrong one with Bethany Frankel. She will make a video and she will shred.
Manny MUA
So she basically went off on them and was like, how dare you, like, bitch, come for me. Essentially was like, you're not going to try to get me to not use a competitors. Like it doesn't matter. Like she can have bought something and just because you're in the middle of a lawsuit with the company doesn't mean. That doesn't mean anything. It's like, it means that you're. It means you're in a loss with company and someone wanted to try their last. It doesn't mean shit. So the fact that they even tried to involve her was like, you're going to be. You're in trouble, essentially. And kind of giving her that kind of threatening tone was crazy. Like, I genuinely thought that was fun looking crazy. I remember making a video during that Bethany Frankel thing being like, bethany, I love you. Because I literally was like, there was lore with them for me, from years and years and years ago, where I had always felt like the owner feels spooky to me. Like, it was just like, I didn't like it. I didn't like her energy, I didn't like her vibe. Just from those moments I had. So then this got brought up and I was like, oh, it seems like she don't change, right? It doesn't seem like it's changing. So now you guys, now we're here. More things have come up. And so now last hour is getting shredded again all over Tick Tock. Where I'm seeing it and the reason I'm even seeing it is because I made a video talking about the Bethany Franco situation. And I'm getting comments on it, like, recently. And I made that video months ago. The algorithm hit the algorithm. People are like, and now that I knew it was you, like, people were like, they remember my situation from back in the day.
Laura Lee
It's just like all the situations are adding up, combining.
Manny MUA
So basically now Latifah is like, I guess they're suing another company that's on TikTok that's very popular, that does lash clusters. And they're like, you can do that. That's our technology. But their comments and like, their brand commenting back, things are like, kind of crazy. They're saying things like, oh, well, you know, we don't want this, like Chinese, or like, you shouldn't want that Chinese dude, that Chinese knockoff. And it's almost like, it seems like it's coming across almost like in a degrading way. And so she basically made a video and was like, well, I've made. I made these back in the day. And I was the first one to ever create lash clusters and invent this technology. And we have it patented and trademarked. And so anyone that tries to come for that, I'm going to sue. And it's funny because outside looking in, I can understand a business person being like, hey, that's what patented is are for. I understand not wanting your technology to be stolen. But then she says things like, we invented this. And it's like, baby people have been cutting up lashes. They've been doing lash clusters for. For tens of years. And then for like, I think even the lashify responded. One of them that was like, oh, and we invented manga lashes. Anime lashes, by the way, which is like so crazy. Like, to even say these statements to claim that, like, that you invented manga lashes. Like, they were just like making these really wild claims in the comments. So basically the lashify situation is just getting re drudged and it seems like they're just getting re judged over and over.
Laura Lee
It's going to tank a computer.
Manny MUA
This company, girl. They. Okay, I agree with you 100. But one of their last lawsuits, they won that lawsuit and it was like a 30 million dollar.
Laura Lee
Shut up.
Manny MUA
They sued another company because they have.
Laura Lee
The patent on the lashes.
Manny MUA
And I get like, like I was saying, like, as a business person, I understand having a patent on something, but trying to claim that you invented, you know, a style to me is kind of crazy. Where I'm like, babe, people were doing clusters, they were cutting their lashes individually. They were doing all these things way before. You can't say you invented a style.
Sponsor
You could say you invented a technology.
Manny MUA
And be like, hey, under the lash, double sided glue.
Sponsor
Great.
Manny MUA
That's your patent, period.
Laura Lee
That's their patent.
Manny MUA
That's their patent. That's what they're saying.
Laura Lee
Brands do that.
Manny MUA
I know, I know, but like that's like, I guess that was their technology originally when it comes to like doing the double sided wand where you like seal it. That was like their thing, I guess. But anyway, what pisses me off about the situation is that their lashes, like their system I think is like $125, whereas a lot of lashes that are competing are way less. And honestly, like, it seems like they're better quality, like the way that they look compared to what they've done.
Laura Lee
Girls, you better start coming for the podcast next.
Manny MUA
I said seem.
Laura Lee
No one said seem.
Manny MUA
It seems like it, honey. It just, that's just what it looks like to me, in my honest, humble opinion. But no, it's just kind of crazy. It's just weird to see something re dredged up from something I literally had went through like, like eight years ago during the situation. And I'm like, it's getting redrued again, coming for it. And it's just like I don't like the way that the brand goes about. Like they're commenting.
Laura Lee
Canceling business.
Manny MUA
Yes, canceling the businesses. I don't like the way that they talk to people. I think that's crazy. I think it's really demeaning. And it's like, I understand having a patent. That's the thing though. It's like I, as a business, I understand that. But to be demeaning and almost like dehumanizing is what it seems like to me. Like I don't like, I just don't like the way they do it personally.
Laura Lee
Right.
Manny MUA
So I'm just like, it's Kind of embarrassing to have a owner come across that way. Yeah, I think.
Laura Lee
Yeah.
Manny MUA
You know, I was like, girl, that's it looking like.
Laura Lee
And listen, it's like, strike one, two, three. I understand these other companies maybe be doing something they're not supposed to be doing whenever she's patent it. So I understand, like, maybe that's not right. Strike. But it's just like all the way that she goes about. It's not necessary. And like the comments, attacking Bethany Frankel, stealing your phone number off your order and attacking you, like these ways about going about the business is not just not the way. Yeah, it's just not the way.
Manny MUA
It's just not the way. So I'm really, like, kind of gagged. I literally just saw a video like today I had like a hundred and ten thousand likes on it. So, you know, I had like hella views. And it was like, pov, you're the owner of Lashify. And it was like this funny reenactment. And I was really like, this is crazy because it's.
Laura Lee
It's kind of like, it's like going around real.
Manny MUA
Yes, it's going around. Like, how crazy? Yes. So I'm like, kind of like shocked and gagged by it. And if it was me, I'd be like, girl, just like, let the lashes speak for themselves. Like, why are you even going crazy?
Laura Lee
Yeah, yeah. They seem to be doing great.
Manny MUA
They seem to be. I mean, clearly you guys are like, I don't understand.
Laura Lee
They have a store on Melrose Gag. Melrose Gag. They have a last.
Manny MUA
That's gaggy to me.
Laura Lee
And every time I see it, I'm.
Manny MUA
Like, yeah, just like, it's just like, to me, it just. It's. It's crazy because, like, they could have a great system, but like, it's so tainted.
Laura Lee
Yeah, right, right.
Manny MUA
I'm taint. Like, the image of them has been so tainted and it's been tainted to me for obviously the drama they've had.
Laura Lee
Online and been cussed out so many times online by different people, you would think, and technically they're winning lawsuits. So it's. It just goes to show you the way they're handling the situations and they're.
Manny MUA
Literally like, we're going to. We're going to come for you. Like, how dare you try it. Like, they want it. They say that, like their actual account is being like, oh, you. You think this Chinese knockoff is going to be like, we're going to be. We're going to. We're going to do UK courts.
Laura Lee
Would you Do a video Trying the Chinese knockoff.
Manny MUA
Yes. No. It's funny because to me, I actually don't like those kind of things. I actually don't like putting lashes underneath my lashes. I don't like to have them on for, like, super, super long amount of times. Like, I'm actually not interested in that. I don't like the system, which is why you and I reviewed. I was like, it's not really for me. I realized it. I was like, I'm more of a lash. I want to take it off really quickly. A strip in and out. So I was like, oh, that's just not my vibe.
Laura Lee
Yeah.
Manny MUA
So. And I know that. So I'm not actually really interested in using those kind of products.
Laura Lee
I'm so done.
Manny MUA
But, yeah, it's kind of crazy. So I don't know if you guys have seen around that or you guys. Do you remember the Lashify lore with me? Like, I'm curious. The full family members or some of them. Because it went deep. It went deep because I actually went. And mind you, I was messier back then. I was a lot messier back then in those days. And so I went in a lot harder.
Laura Lee
Clear.
Manny MUA
Some cure. I did. I did. Because it definitely got, like, a big spot. People. And people still come and be like, I remember when they did you so dirty. I'm like, yeah, you remember that? Because I went the fuck in, honey.
Laura Lee
I cannot.
Manny MUA
So it's crazy. So I'm curious to see how that transpires.
Laura Lee
Well, that is our last rapid fire toppy today. Let us know if you're watching Love Island. How do you think Casa Moore is gonna go by the time this episode is out? It will have already happened.
Manny MUA
We'll have had 1, 2, 3. Three episodes out by Friday. By Friday. Because Friday, when this goes up, that night is when we have episodes. So we have three episodes.
Laura Lee
Yeah.
Manny MUA
All the Costa, I think, will have happened by the time this goes up.
Laura Lee
Wow. Can't wait.
Manny MUA
Oh, I'm feral.
Laura Lee
I know. It's so crazy because this is actually happening live.
Manny MUA
I know.
Laura Lee
It's like, one day off, I think. Yeah, exactly. Like 24 hours off. So it's, like, actually happening. By the way, I'm back in my Survivor kick.
Manny MUA
Oh, you. You back. You texted. You're like, I'm back in.
Laura Lee
I'm watching episode 40 or season 48 right now.
Manny MUA
And you're in there.
Laura Lee
I'm in there.

Manny MUA
Now that we love Island, I'm like, where's our 60 episode season?
Laura Lee
Isn't it pitiful TV shows? Give us eight now, girl. Goodbye with these eight. That's a movie.
Manny MUA
Eight episodes is diabolical. Out of here.
Laura Lee
But anyways, we'll catch you guys in our next episode.
Manny MUA
Bye, guys.
Laura Lee
Bye, guys.
