Manny Mua
Mom, can you tell me a story?
Laura Lee
Sure.
Carvana Announcer
Once upon a time, a mom needed a new car.
Laura Lee
Was she brave?
Carvana Announcer
She was tired mostly. But she went to Carvana.com and found a great car at a great price. No secret treasure map required.
Laura Lee
Did you have to fight a dragon?
Carvana Announcer
Nope. She bought it 100% online from her bed, actually.
Manny Mua
Was it scary, honey?
Carvana Announcer
It was as unscary as car buying could be.
Laura Lee
Did the car have a sunroof?
Carvana Announcer
It did, actually. Okay, good story. Car buying you'll want to tell stories about. Buy your car today on Carvana. Delivery fees may apply.
Manny Mua
Are you on? Are you mic'd? Yeah. Fuck, yeah. It's time for boopy cleanup, baby. The poop deck, as they call it. You would have to have.
Laura Lee
I would have to have me love.
Manny Mua
We met at the perfect time.
Laura Lee
We do.
Manny Mua
But the product is so sickening.
Laura Lee
Welcome to your favorite podcast. It's full coverage with your host, Laura
Manny Mua
Lee and Manny Mua.
Laura Lee
Hey, hey, hey.
Manny Mua
And we're back in our news.
Laura Lee
Jazz hands. Jazz hands. Jazz hands.
Manny Mua
You guys, we're. I'm so. Did you see the comments from last episode? The girlies are living for the podcast, and I'm so glad that you guys are enjoying it, too.
Laura Lee
I'm glad you guys really like it.
Manny Mua
We love it.
Laura Lee
We've been through so much with our podcast studios that I was already like, if you guys don't like it, I don't care.
Manny Mua
And I hate to say that I
Laura Lee
sound brash, but we've just been through so much. We've just been through so much. So, you know, sometimes you have to be like, I don't need any other validation from this project other than my own. But to see positive comments shared brings joy to my heart.
Manny Mua
Same.
Laura Lee
I'm very happy that you guys like it.
Manny Mua
Same. Because. Especially because, like, since you guys are watching it, it's like, I'm so glad that you guys enjoy it because we want to be an environment that makes us feel good. So it's nice that it feels good for you watching. You know what I mean?
Laura Lee
That does feel good.
Manny Mua
And I feel great in here.
Laura Lee
But I have, like, a guard around my heart, of course. With Podcast Studio.
Manny Mua
Oh.
Laura Lee
I'm, well, very guarded in my Mental health.
Manny Mua
That's because we're. We're scarred.
Laura Lee
We were scarred.
Manny Mua
Yeah.
Laura Lee
Yeah. But besides that, we're gonna do a little rapid fire today. And by the way, we're filming, like, in the middle of the night.
Manny Mua
You guys, it's 8pm the middle of the night. We. Us.
Laura Lee
We up. We did.
Manny Mua
Because we had so much happening. It's because we had a lot happening this week.
Laura Lee
Yes.
Manny Mua
More so Laura's fault.
Laura Lee
It is my fault completely, actually.
Manny Mua
I. Of course he's understanding. No, man.
Laura Lee
He was understanding. Okay. That this is my pit. Oh, yeah, do it.
Manny Mua
Oh, yeah. Honestly, a real pit, though.
Laura Lee
It is a real pit. But it sounds so pathetic because it's like, girl, get a life. But I have this workout class and this teacher, he's very, very popular, but it's my favorite workout of the week, and I've been going to the studio for three years, and this next class is going to be my 300th class.
Manny Mua
No way.
Laura Lee
Yes.
Manny Mua
Like, actual 300300.
Laura Lee
I can show you in the app. I'm at 299 right now.
Manny Mua
I love that.
Laura Lee
So I'm really excited.
Manny Mua
And it is your last class.
Laura Lee
It is. So that's the fucking pit from hell. So I signed. So this class is so popular, you have to sign up for a month in advance. Not weeks, a month. Which. That's crazy.
Manny Mua
Can you sign up for a multiple at a time, though, and just go.
Laura Lee
You can sign up for four ahead.
Manny Mua
Great.
Laura Lee
But the problem is, is, like, you have to stay on top of it because once you. The next week starts, everybody tries to bomb Russia and, like, grab that class, and the class gets so full that you can't be put on a wait list.
Manny Mua
Got it.
Laura Lee
Like, it gets past the wait list. So basically, it's my favorite. It's a heated class. I've been to this place forever. But so I'm. I signed up for it for tomorrow, which is the day we always film the podcast. And so I went to be like, oh, that's okay. I can just take it another day. Thursday we have a event. Yeah, can't take it Thursday because it's only on Tuesdays and Thursdays. So then I was like, the following week, I could take it. Can't. I'm not. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm gone. Then I was like, the following week, signed up full. Following week, signed up full. So the next time I'll be able to take it is sometime in June. So I'd have to take a month off my class if we weren't filming at 8pm and it's the you do
Manny Mua
the you do for like something that you like really are passionate about, like something you really care about.
Laura Lee
It's like my favorite little thing I get to do for myself.
Manny Mua
Yes, it's like your thing and just.
Laura Lee
And like so now I get to do it this week because we rearranged our whole entire lives and schedules for me. But I don't get to take it again till June, which is, that's so. And to take that much time off.
Manny Mua
That's why I know. Cuz like for example, that's like me, like I, I make happen for like my volleyball games. So I know.
Laura Lee
What if they were having games but you were not able to participate till June and like you were gonna miss out. You'd be pissed.
Manny Mua
Yeah, exactly.
Laura Lee
I'm so pissed.
Manny Mua
That's how I would feel the exact same. And I'm sure like, especially like there's people I feel like are really like work out class people that like enjoy a class. So I feel like those girlies will understand like that are like. Yes.
Laura Lee
You know what's crazy? I like, I'm friends with the instructor, but I don't talk to anyone else in there too. I just love this class. It's so hard.
Manny Mua
That's why you like and none of
Laura Lee
the other classes are hard enough for me. Because when you're 300 classes in, I mean, you're gonna have to find something that challenges you.
Manny Mua
Right.
Laura Lee
You know, you're really.
Manny Mua
And this one challenges.
Laura Lee
This is so challenging. But it's so much fun.
Manny Mua
And it's worth it because it's like you're actually tired after.
Laura Lee
Oh and dripping.
Manny Mua
Literally.
Laura Lee
This is a class that's like 115, 120 degrees and it's like a boot camp. It's not like a little pulse, pulse, pulse. It's more like a pick up your heavy weights and do burpees, do push ups.
Manny Mua
Oh my God.
Laura Lee
Hold a plank for an entire song. Like it's tough and like it really challenges me.
Manny Mua
And in the heat and in the hottest heat, that's why it's like crazy.
Laura Lee
It's literally insane. Women hold up way stronger in the class than men. You know how people's energy beside you, like if they keep going, it can motivate you to keep going. Every time I'm by a man, I'm so disappointed because men are flops in the class. They can't do.
Manny Mua
They try.
Laura Lee
They can't. But the women will keep going a lot of these. No, seriously, the men cannot. No. Pilates destroyed you. Which was hysterical, by the way.
Manny Mua
Well, that's what I'm saying. Like, it's like. I think that it's just like a. Biologically, we suck.
Laura Lee
It feels like fight or flight.
Manny Mua
Is it fight or flight? Maybe that's why.
Laura Lee
Fight or flight. From what I'm witnessing, I think men are flops.
Manny Mua
Yeah, I agree. Like, I literally think. I think that's literally what it is. They always say, too, that, like, they always, like. Or, like, not me always say, but they always make videos of, like, let's say men trying parties and parties. And men are always, like, going through the gigs, doing. And when we're like this or whatever.
Laura Lee
Yeah. They can't.
Manny Mua
Like, for some reason, it's just like. It's like a known thing that men just kind of flop at that.
Laura Lee
They flop.
Manny Mua
I can't confirm. I also flopped it too.
Laura Lee
They're so floppy. So every time a man gets by me, I'm like, you're not gonna motivate me. Get the away.
Manny Mua
And also, you're just like a man next to you.
Laura Lee
Also, it's terrible.
Manny Mua
There's also that. Just get away from me.
Laura Lee
It's terrible.
Manny Mua
Yeah, my pit is when it's like pit. I mean, it was a. It was a funny situation I'm just gonna use. So basically, we went to New York this weekend, which we will talk about as, like, our, like, joint peak, because we went to New York and it was really, really sick. But when I got back home, mind you, we landed so late.
Laura Lee
Me and Manny both took. How crazy is this? Me and Manny both took Red Eyes out of New York. But we were on different planes and different airlines because the planes airline filled up and there wasn't enough. So we had to take completely separate flights, which we almost missed by the hair or our chin on our chinny chin chin.
Manny Mua
And I have hair on my chin a lot. Hey. Yeah. So basically we. We land. It's like 10:30pm at this point, and I'm like, really quite tired. And my driver sent me, like, a text. He's like, hey, I'm here to pick you up. And I'm like, okay, cool. Like, I'm at carousel three. And he's like, oh, well, they didn't hire us for that. Like, they hired us to get you at curbside. I was like, okay, cool. Like, all good. I'll meet you at the curbside. But it was just, like, so, like, kind of abrupt. And I was like, okay, like, all good. Like, I'll I'll just text you when I'm getting my bag, and I'll go from there. And I was like, okay, cool. So I'm, like, waiting, and the pack's taking so long, you guys. It looked forever to come in, so I finally got it, and I said, I'm like, hey, I'm coming out now. I'll see you at the thing. Tell me what letter you're at. I'm like, great. Sounds good. So I told him what letter I was at, and I'm, like, waiting there. It's been, like, five minutes. And I'm like, yo. Like, what the. So I text him, and I'm like, hey. Like, I'm at the letter. Like, this letter. Like, just. What's your eta? You know?
Laura Lee
Yeah.
Manny Mua
He was like, oh, there's traffic. And I'm like, okay. Well, I thought you were, like, already here. You said that you're here. And he's like, yeah, I'm coming. I'm coming. So I'm like, cool. So I'm waiting there, waiting there. Another five minutes goes by. I'm just kind of like. Like, whatever. I look over, and I see, like, this, like, just couple, like, at the next column over. A column over. Not by me.
Laura Lee
Not a letter column.
Manny Mua
Because I remember looking for this very specific car because it gives you a license plate in the car. So I'm looking at the column, I see this couple getting to this car, and I see it starting to, like, kind of go off. And I look at the license. That's my license. When I tell you guys, I ran over to the column, so these people were getting with my bags, and I'm like, what the. So then I literally am like. As I run. As I run over to the next.
Laura Lee
Bang on the car window.
Manny Mua
And I'm like. And I'm like, who are you supposed to be picking up? That's what I say. We supposed to be picking up. And he's like, manny. And I'm like, I'm Manny. I was at that column right there, and I'm like. And I'm doing this, and I'm doing this. And basically, he picked up the wrong people at the wrong time. So then he goes. He, like, kind of looks back at them, and he's like, I gave you guys my license plate.
Laura Lee
Yeah.
Manny Mua
And you guys said, yes.
Laura Lee
What the hell?
Manny Mua
And so apparently, the couple that got in the car. Idiots.
Laura Lee
Yeah.
Manny Mua
Had said, oh, yeah, that's us. So they were just gonna go to my house. Are you guys stupid?
Laura Lee
Like, what is the plan, babe? What?
Manny Mua
I Literally. So then, of course, I look at them. I'm like, sorry, guys, you gotta get out. I. This is me. And so they get out, and they were on my flight too.
Laura Lee
You better stop it right now.
Manny Mua
They said, I'm not kidding you. Maybe, like, two seats behind me. I recognized a couple. And I go, if I wasn't just, like, locked in looking for the license place in the car, they would have just drove it off, went to my home.
Laura Lee
Yeah. And they would have been feeding your dog.
Manny Mua
I was. I just couldn't. I just couldn't believe us.
Laura Lee
I literally ran by her hair.
Manny Mua
I did. I needed her to get out immediately. And him. Both of them.
Laura Lee
Oh, I know. We were ready to go.
Manny Mua
He's like, sorry. And I'm like, you're lucky I caught you, because I would have been very upset because I was already struggling with the car beforehand.
Laura Lee
Oh, yeah.
Manny Mua
On our way.
Laura Lee
Yes. Oh, my God. Let me tell you something. This.
Manny Mua
The car. They're done. They're done.
Laura Lee
They're done.
Manny Mua
I'm done.
Laura Lee
So the car service leaves Manny. And then my car service went to the wrong hotel. So me and Manny are walking out of the photo shoot. We're in hills. We're in full blame. And we're like. The photo shoot ran late, so we were an hour late going to the airport. And the problem is we have to check a bag, and you have to be there at least one hour before your flight, which you're already pushing it at that, but to. In order to check the bag. And so what it's looking like is, like. Traffic is, like, at a stand still. It was.
Manny Mua
Because we left later than usual.
Laura Lee
We left way later. So traffic was getting worse and worse. It was just growing and growing. So we were not gonna pull up before our flight, so we were screwed. And then the driver was driving. Snell, Glacier Pace. Glacier Pace, you guys.
Manny Mua
So we had, like. We had. So we actually had different cars getting us because we have different airlines. So we're flying same airport, different airlines, but we're only 15 minutes apart, our actual flight taking. So. Okay, cool. Like, we should be able to actually leave at the same time and just kind of go. I go outside because the driver is like, hey, like, whatever. They text me that they're here. The shoot's running a little late, so we're in the middle of, like, shooting, and I go downstairs, and I look at my missed calls and voice notes. Okay. Or my voicemails. I look at it, and I transcribe it, and I listen to it, and they're like, hey, since you were a half an hour late to your little pickup time, we actually just released your drivers. Like, thank you so much. So my driver wasn't there anymore.
Laura Lee
And so I'm like, manny, it's cool, because you can just hop in the car with me because my driver has a few more minutes to wait, and we're good. We can just use my driver. He can drop us off at two different terminals. So I call my driver. He's like, yeah, I'm here at the hotel.
Manny Mua
And I was like, thank God Lori Haswer is here.
Laura Lee
Like, I'm not seeing your car, sir. He's like, I'm at the Howard.
Manny Mua
I was like, oh, we're not the Howard.
Laura Lee
We're not at the Howard. We're not at the Howard.
Manny Mua
So hers went to the a different hotel. Mine completely ditched me.
Laura Lee
And we're an hour late. So we call an Uber and have to wait on a Uber. And the Uber we get. We're talking so loud in the car. We're like, we're gonna miss our flight.
Manny Mua
We were quite obvious about, like. Like, it was like, context clues.
Laura Lee
And, babe, he was like, I mean,
Manny Mua
eventually, I was like, yeah, we're actually really trying to make this. Can you, like, time?
Laura Lee
Can you get there? Manny was like, wait, what are we gonna.
Manny Mua
You guys, honestly, though, I was hungry at that time, and I was stressed. I'm really cranky.
Laura Lee
One biscuit from McDonald's, you guys.
Manny Mua
I had to McGriddle that day.
Laura Lee
It is now, like, 5:30, and we have not had one. Not a snack, not a chip, not a morsel, not a crumb. We have had water since 9am it is 5:30pm me and him are starved, and we're about to miss our flight, and the driver will not go.
Manny Mua
Oh, I was getting.
Laura Lee
And we're literally. Manny's in full glam going to the airport. I'm literally high heels running to the security.
Manny Mua
Like, the little fluffy shirt. Yeah, you guys, I went through all tsa, went through everything. Fully painted, full lash on living. Oh, they were. The divas were living, which was really fun. I always forget because I'm not as, like, out in, like, structured public going through full glam as much anymore. Like, I just don't do as much.
Laura Lee
I mean, I want to get.
Manny Mua
Yes. But, like, honestly, I got stopped by many women that were like, oh, my God. You're like, your makeup is crazy. Like, just so. They were just so sweet and so cool. Like, the TSA people were so sweet and cool. So it was Just more so. Like, I was as long as I knew I could just check my bag. I don't give a. After that.
Laura Lee
I love when you're full glam and I'm full glam. Women are like, did he do your makeup?
Manny Mua
Every time.
Laura Lee
Every time. And I'm like, no, the. He didn't do my makeup. I did my makeup.
Manny Mua
But I could.
Laura Lee
But because you're a gay guy, you did my. You did my beat. Every straight women can beat, too.
Manny Mua
And also, I'm like, she actually did my makeup, period.
Laura Lee
We should do a bit.
Manny Mua
Okay. So, like, so that was the crazy part of New York, but the good part of New York was everything.
Laura Lee
There were so many good.
Manny Mua
It was fudgeing crazy. It was so good.
Laura Lee
It was so good.
Manny Mua
New York this last year was, like, honestly, phenomenal.
Laura Lee
Yeah, we had an amazing time. We went there with Charlotte Tilbury. We were part of a campaign in which we cannot speak on just yet.
Manny Mua
The product is so sickening.
Laura Lee
God, they've needed this product.
Manny Mua
Yeah. Honestly. And I just feel like it just, like, really fits their line so good. So I'm really. So we went with Charlotte Tilbury. I actually end up going a day early to watch Devil's product out there with l', Oreal, too. And that was amazing. I love Devil wars product, too. They did it justice.
Laura Lee
Okay, good.
Manny Mua
Which I feel like, is. It can get a little spooky out there with. With sequels, honey.
Laura Lee
They've disappeared.
Manny Mua
I'm actually, like, when I'm watching a movie for the first time, I'm like, I can be critical, but not that critical. Like, I'm like, okay, I'm enjoying my vibes or whatever. If I'm watching a sequel, I tend to be a little more critical because I already have a vibe of what I want to see, you know? But this one didn't disappoint me.
Laura Lee
Okay, I'm glad to hear that.
Manny Mua
I really am excited for you to
Laura Lee
watch it, because I was hesitant.
Manny Mua
But Friday was great. The Friday we had, that was, like, our freer stay.
Laura Lee
We got to go shopping, got breakfast. Oh, you're wearing a belt. It does. It looks really good.
Manny Mua
I just honestly needed a belt, but it's a cute little.
Laura Lee
Looks really cute. Cute little Diesel bell. And then we went to see Chicago with Whitney. So we. Charlotte Tilbury knew we wanted to see Chicago, so they got us tickets to see it. They got angels fucking seats in the house.
Manny Mua
Oh.
Laura Lee
We were like, oh, the seats were sickening.
Manny Mua
Seats are sickening. Like, the whole team, honestly, the team. The show team. Yeah, they were amazing because you guys were, like, really trying to make it work for us, and we really, really appreciate that.
Laura Lee
Yeah, they're amazing.
Manny Mua
So it was just really cool to go there, especially with, like, a brand that, like, stuff I really like. And Chicago was incredible. Like, you guys, I never seen Chicago before. I didn't know what Chicago was even.
Laura Lee
We both went in with blindness because we didn't want to look up, like, what it's about. We wanted to.
Manny Mua
We already knew. We didn't know what it was about.
Laura Lee
The reviews were so good on it. We were like, okay, we just have to see it. It's about murder and treachery.
Manny Mua
And apparently there's a movie of Chicago as well. And everyone keeps, like, damning me, like, you have to watch Chicago, the movie.
Laura Lee
So good.
Manny Mua
But it was really crazy.
Laura Lee
I know her last day was Sunday, so she's done with Broadway. She said she did six months, eight shows a week. Girl, you get Wednesdays off, she does
Manny Mua
a double on you after.
Laura Lee
Okay, so the curtain closes during intermission. It's like a 15 minute break for people to go to the bathroom. And like, in between the show and as soon as the curtain closes, freaking Whitney, who was literally right on stage one second ago, literally starts dming me. And she's like, are you at my show? And I was like, like, how are you dming me right now? You literally must still be on the stage. Like, where did you even get your phone? But she was like, come back. You tell. I was like, I'm here with Manny. She was like, you both come backstage. She was like, I want to show you backstage. So we got to go backstage. We get to go on the stage. And we got to meet Mark, which we hadn't met Mark.
Manny Mua
Mark was so sweet too. Mark is also in. Was in Chicago as well.
Laura Lee
Incredible.
Manny Mua
Like, I just loved that so much to see them both, like, apparently they
Laura Lee
were, like, breaking records with the box office for sure.
Manny Mua
It was blown out.
Laura Lee
Bl out.
Manny Mua
It was crazy. And also, like, just in general, just Chicago in general. I was blown away with, like, the production. I was blown away.
Laura Lee
So good.
Manny Mua
Her co star that's in it is phenomenal.
Laura Lee
The dancers, like, everyone's just so phenomenal.
Manny Mua
There's so many hot guys in It.
Laura Lee
I don't, by the way, I hate musical movies, and I want to make that very clear. There is nothing like a Broadway play. There is nothing like it.
Manny Mua
You know what? It is too top tier, though. It is.
Laura Lee
It's like top tier talent.
Manny Mua
There's also, like, something about watching people do what they're meant to do. Like, there's something about that.
Laura Lee
That is why I love going to Broadway the most. I get to see a person play out their passions because their dream. And there's nothing better than seeing a. Seeing someone get to do what they love.
Manny Mua
Yes. It's so cool.
Laura Lee
Better.
Manny Mua
And they have talent. So literally on top of it. Like, they're living out their entire dream. And they're so good at that thing that they booked Broadway
Laura Lee
York. I feel like it's very top.
Manny Mua
Pinnacle.
Laura Lee
Yeah, It's a pinnacle 100.
Manny Mua
So, like, I feel like at that point, when you're in a Broadway that's like, okay, the next thing is probably to, like, do another show that's on Broadway and, like, kind of like have, like, diversify your portfolio in some ways and things like that. To do different roles and different things and see, like, if you could do those things, I'm sure it's incredible. It's so cool. Or maybe act too.
Laura Lee
That was like, one of the coolest things ever. And then the next day, we went and shot with Charlotte Tilbury for the campaign.
Manny Mua
With actual Charlotte, too.
Laura Lee
Oh, that was our both of our first time meeting Charlotte. So she's amazing. Oh, she's a good time love, I'll tell you that.
Manny Mua
She's our vibe.
Laura Lee
Like, I feel like she is our vibe.
Manny Mua
She just, like. She just, like, is literally our vibe.
Laura Lee
I recommended Dr. Groot to her.
Manny Mua
Oh, let me tell you something.
Laura Lee
She was like, how do you.
Manny Mua
She. Laura was literally like, what? Like that head of hair. And I'm like, I want it. Yeah.
Laura Lee
I was like, I swear it's mine. Like, there's no extensions. She was like, no, I know, but how do I get it? And I was like, seriously? I've been on Dr. Groot and Manny has, too. We've been using that miracle and shower treatment for years. Tyler uses it too. Like, everybody uses it to tie is a rosemary treatment. It's, like, proven to.
Manny Mua
It's amazing.
Laura Lee
Make your hair grow healthy.
Manny Mua
And I use a shampoo and I use a conditioner.
Laura Lee
Yeah.
Manny Mua
I use the entire system.
Laura Lee
It's incredible.
Manny Mua
I'm obsessed.
Laura Lee
So I straight up told her, and I was like, you need to get, like, the miracle in shower.
Manny Mua
No, get this. When you're doing your shot, like, you're doing yourself. So I'm sitting down and I'm like talking to Charlotte, and she's like, like, hair. And I'm like, girl, I know, it's crazy. She's like, do you use Dr. Groot too? She's looking at my hair. I'm like, don't look too close to my hair. But I do use doctor. She was literally like, up. And I'm like, charlotte, stop it. But I was like, yeah, I use. And I was like, I use, like, the full system. I use a shampoo, shower conditioner. Her assistant was right there. Literally like this.
Laura Lee
Yep.
Manny Mua
Typing down, like, what Laura had told her about Dr. Groot. How cute is that?
Laura Lee
It's so cute.
Manny Mua
I was just telling her. I was like, no, it's like a Korean haircare.
Laura Lee
Yeah. I was like, it's Korean haircare. So good. It's amazing. So we had a good time and then we booked our asses home and.
Manny Mua
And the rest is her stream.
Laura Lee
The rest is history.
Manny Mua
Here we are. Speaking of Whitney, let's just dive right in.
Laura Lee
Dive in. Because that's part of our rap.
Manny Mua
I just thought was the way she did it was so cute. Cute because so when she's doing Broadway, like, we actually witnessed her do the first bit where it's like, those Mormons, you know, those Mormon wives.
Laura Lee
She like, points to the newspaper because she wants to be famous. And she's like, you'll see me in the paper next to those Mormon wives.
Manny Mua
It was crazy. She's like, right next to one of them, you know? And then so like, everyone goes crazy erupts. So she does that bit, but she's like, oh, you know where it says, like, Whitney Lovett is leaving Secret House, like Secret Wives or Mormon Wives. And everyone, of course, roars and screams. So, yeah, Whitney Lovett officially is a leader.
Laura Lee
She announced it like a real On Broadway during the show.
Manny Mua
Have you seen. Have you been seeing comments out of curiosity about people being like. For the fifth time, like, I've even seen people being like, okay, again, announcing it again. I'm like, you guys, so because someone's on a show and they're like talking about it or like not being in sequences or not being as part of a season or as present, that does not in any way shape or form mean that they've left the show.
Laura Lee
Yeah.
Manny Mua
When someone goes and like, hey, I'm leaving secret lives, Mormon wise, it's official means that they're fudgeing leaving the show. Actually, it's not like, one of those things where it's like, oh, she just, like, not in it that much. Like, technically, Demi, who's, like, barely in the season at all, hasn't left the show because she's still in the show. So when you leave the show means you're no longer part of the main or partial cast.
Laura Lee
Like, I feel like anytime someone gets a big press hit like Whitney did for leaving, people get so bitter. 100 they just do. They get so, like.
Manny Mua
Yeah. But I think it's because they were thinking that she, like, had already left or she was coming because, you know, that was part of her narrative, was coming back to get these, like, opportunities about, like, saying the show, the moms.
Laura Lee
Do you feel like Whitney's kind of outgrown more my wife? I do too.
Manny Mua
I do. I really do.
Laura Lee
She's very talented. It's very clear that the girl is so talented. And even on Tick Tock, like, she was famous for her dancing. Really?
Manny Mua
Yeah. I mean, they had. She already had a lot of followers for the dance.
Laura Lee
Like, her and her man, like, doing all these crazy dances. And then, like, she's very talented or what she down Dancing with the Stars. So it's just like, constantly evolving paths.
Manny Mua
Yeah. 100 I think that's what it is
Laura Lee
about Mormonism, you know, and like, cheating and abuse. Like, she's. I feel like she's just evolved past the show.
Manny Mua
Well, totally. The thing is, like, because now we've actually been able to see, like, her dude Dancing with the Stars and her do Broadway, like, you can see that this girl has this, like, talent that
Laura Lee
is not just so common.
Manny Mua
And she's our. She's a star. So it's like, I do think that there's just past, like, the reality. Like, she's. I. I definitely think that she's, like, moved past and moved forward from it because she has other things in her pipeline. I'm not saying being on the show is bad. Obviously that's cool on the show and like, that it's like, it's an amazing opportunity.
Laura Lee
I feel like it's running.
Manny Mua
She can do for her. I do. I genuinely feel like that. I feel like she's able to do more with it. And it was a great catalyst for her to be able to move forward in her career and her stardom in some capacity. But I just like Winnie a lot. Like, I genuinely really, especially from this last season, like, I really just her heavy. And then we became, like, duties with her. We made her at that event.
Laura Lee
We sure did. But her like, character, and her growth path has been, like, pretty big, you know, huge.
Manny Mua
I didn't like her one of the seasons.
Laura Lee
I didn't either. Season one, she was total villain. I mean, I don't know how much of that was plotted and planned, but she was definitely, like, the villain of season one, and I wasn't a huge fan. And then I feel like we got to know her and, like, saw who, like, the real villains were on the show, and then we actually got to know her in real life, and we were like, oh, this girl's no villain.
Manny Mua
Exactly.
Laura Lee
And the thing is, the smartest. Literally the smartest sister out of all of them. You know what I mean? She really is one of the most mature ones. Very mature. Like.
Manny Mua
Well, I feel like she, like, from watching and from getting to, like, speak with her, I do feel like she has a really good head on her shoulders. And I genuinely think that it's one of those situations where I do think that if you're in a show and you're in an environment where it's kind of toxic and being kind of volatile, you're going to be more toxic and volatile, if that makes sense. Like, I feel like you're going to. It's going to be brought out in you.
Laura Lee
Yeah. You're going to bring it. Perform.
Manny Mua
Yeah. You're going to bring it up and then just going to be brought out. So I think at the end of the day, you are going to be a little bit more performative.
Laura Lee
Yeah.
Manny Mua
In a show like that, because that's kind of what the show requires.
Laura Lee
I still feel like she had, like, that star power. Because season one was. All you talked about was Whitney.
Manny Mua
Exactly. Because all the cat. Like, the camera wouldn't get off of her.
Laura Lee
Yeah. Yeah. So it was interesting. But I'm really happy for her exit. I'm excited to see what she's gonna do next. So I love to.
Manny Mua
I'd love to see all the girls going even past the show.
Laura Lee
Isn't another one of them doing Dancing with the Stars? Miranda or somebody?
Manny Mua
Oh, I don't know.
Laura Lee
I don't know.
Manny Mua
I know Jen did it.
Laura Lee
Jen did it. Yeah.
Manny Mua
Obviously, Taylor was gonna be about. That's something past Mormon Wives. Was. Was. So I feel like a lot of the girls are, like, doing things really cool. Really cool things.
Laura Lee
I was on that show. I would be taking dance classes every
Manny Mua
single day of the week to potentially get on dancing. Yes.
Laura Lee
Because I'd be like, oh, would you
Manny Mua
want to be on Dancing with the Stars?
Laura Lee
I would do it.
Manny Mua
Yeah.
Laura Lee
Yeah.
Manny Mua
Laura yes.
Laura Lee
Would you not do it?
Manny Mua
No.
Laura Lee
Why?
Manny Mua
I can't.
Laura Lee
That.
Manny Mua
That's too.
Laura Lee
But you could take class. I feel like it would be one of those challenges that are so daring and so scary and so challenging.
Manny Mua
100.
Laura Lee
It would change you for the rest of your life. And you gotta say yes.
Manny Mua
I don't think I could say that's
Laura Lee
the point in living.
Manny Mua
I have this really weird thing with like the art, like performing. I can't. I can't sing in public.
Laura Lee
Me.
Manny Mua
That's why I'm like, you would do it.
Laura Lee
I'll sing in public all day.
Manny Mua
Oh baby. I know you would.
Laura Lee
Sounds like tin can do.
Manny Mua
Like, I have a hard time doing karaoke.
Laura Lee
You do.
Manny Mua
So there's a lot of things. Like it's like. There's thing I won't sing. Like there's some like. I have this like weird like mental blog with that. And it's. It's the same with dancing.
Laura Lee
I feel like I'll do anything once for sure. Even if I'm terrible and everybody hates me and they're like, how'd she even get on the show? She sucks so bad. I would still do it.
Manny Mua
Absolutely. Why not?
Laura Lee
I'm down.
Manny Mua
Because it's a cool like accolade too. At the end of the day, it's
Laura Lee
just like I feel like, you know, you gotta do.
Manny Mua
It's a challenge and it's something you have to do.
Laura Lee
Challenges. Yeah.
Manny Mua
You know, not a lot of people get to do that. So like. And just in general it'd be cool, but like. Like I couldn't do it.
Laura Lee
Damn. I was hoping on together.
Manny Mua
You know what? I'll be the. The. The pro. You be the.
Laura Lee
See, that's what I was thinking.
Manny Mua
That's a great thought.
Laura Lee
They tend to have people that have some type of dancer background, though.
Manny Mua
A lot of people don't have dancer background.
Laura Lee
Well, you think.
Manny Mua
You think Harry Josy had a dancing background? That's stiff ass.
Laura Lee
Ass. No, he was a stiff ass.
Manny Mua
Wooden.
Laura Lee
Wooden.
Manny Mua
Wooden legs.
Laura Lee
Legs.
Manny Mua
There's just. There's a lot of people that don't have any dance background.
Laura Lee
Okay.
Manny Mua
And there's some people that do that have obviously a leg up. Like Whitney, Charlie.
Laura Lee
I think maybe I go into things wrong. My point wouldn't be to win. It'd be just to try it.
Manny Mua
Absolutely. For like the. For the fun.
Laura Lee
Yeah.
Manny Mua
And for the experience.
Laura Lee
For the story time. For the plot.
Manny Mua
Story time.

Manny Mua
The plot or the recaps on this.
Laura Lee
For the. Yeah. I would come on every week and tell all the realty. And I really hate to remember that whenever Jen got sent home, Whitney covered her mouth. And they were all saying, Whitney was laughing.
Manny Mua
Yes.
Laura Lee
You think she was laughing?
Manny Mua
I think she was shocked.
Laura Lee
I think she left.
Manny Mua
Really?
Laura Lee
No, I don't.
Manny Mua
I. I think that she was shocked.
Laura Lee
I think she was shocked and like,
Manny Mua
kind of like, you know, when you uncomfortable giggle.
Laura Lee
All eyes on her. And I think the best. She was just like, let me cover my mouth. Yes.
Manny Mua
100.
Laura Lee
Because I think, like, obviously I don't
Manny Mua
think she's like, no, I think that was just like.
Laura Lee
Also, she's not that dumb.
Manny Mua
Exactly.
Laura Lee
You know what I mean? Like pr.
Manny Mua
It's a shock. It's a shock.
Laura Lee
Yeah.
Manny Mua
And it's like. Like an uncomfortable giggle.
Laura Lee
Huh?
Manny Mua
That's all.
Laura Lee
That's just my shade her, though, like on live. That's right. That's right. That's right. That's right.
Manny Mua
She literally was like, I'm not waiting for Whitney. Like, the whole thing.
Laura Lee
Jen has come a long way, too, on the show.
Manny Mua
I think so, too.
Laura Lee
Jen has also come along.
Manny Mua
I think so.
Laura Lee
We're gonna give her some.
Manny Mua
I think a lot of the girls have come a long way.
Laura Lee
I agree.
Manny Mua
I think a lot of them have most. I'd say most of them have.
Laura Lee
Our next topic. Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni finally do a private.
Manny Mua
I took a screenshot of this settlement.
Laura Lee
You guys sleep tonight.
Manny Mua
Let me say this. Blake Lively just about let me reach a confidential settlement on May 4, which is not when you guys are watching this, but when we're seeing this on May 4, ending a 18th month legal battle over the film. It ends with us. The agreement resolves allegations of sexual harassment retaliation just before a scheduled trial, allowing both parties to avoid potentially damaging public court battles, which I feel like now that it's like saying, like, oh, because they're trying to essentially avoid this, like, damage. More damage. They. It's a secret settlement. Like, they're not. It's not that.
Laura Lee
What do you think this do you think is Break even? Secret, secret settlement.
Manny Mua
Yes. I definitely think it's one of those things. Where it's like, neither of you guys can really talk about you guys to each other in the past anymore and just kind of have to let it lie because they both kind of, like, got a lot of scrutiny for it. So I think that what they're spooked about is idea that, let's say, going for trial for real, that means, like, things are open. Like, people will find out.
Laura Lee
That's gonna be a field day.
Manny Mua
It'll be a field day for people, especially, like, the little investigative reporters that
Laura Lee
are trying to figure out, like, I gotta do the mat on my. Wrap it up. Just. I love how they both paid all their money in legal fees, and now they're assuming. It's like, nothing.
Manny Mua
A wash. It's a wash. Because that was like a. It was definitely, like a pride thing on both ends. It wasn't like, a thing of, like, we really want this to be said. It was like, no, they're going to like, let's just keep taking as far as we can, or something finally happened, which I'm just happy it's done. Like, honestly, like. But that situation. Is it 18 months.
Laura Lee
That's insane.
Manny Mua
18.
Laura Lee
That's two children, like, the top. That's two births paying the top lawyers ever. 18 months. Two. Yikes.
Manny Mua
Births, mind you. It's like birth child.
Laura Lee
Or child.
Manny Mua
That would be. I don't. I don't. I don't think. Think that would even work. I don't know. But I'm just glad that it's done.
Laura Lee
I'm sick of it.
Manny Mua
Because the, like, it becomes to. It becomes like a show.
Laura Lee
It has become a circus.
Manny Mua
It's a circus.
Laura Lee
I'm absolutely sick of it. And I never want to hear the names Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively in the same sentence ever again. But I do hope they're able to do a movie together in the future.
Manny Mua
I don't think there's a world. Same room together. Imagine there's a world where there's, like, across the hall.
Laura Lee
They're just, like, from the Met gala. Yeah, baby.
Manny Mua
No, I feel like. I feel like just Justin is more like behind the scenes anyway.
Laura Lee
Yeah. I didn't know who he was before this.
Manny Mua
Right.
Laura Lee
Just gonna be honest, I just hadn't really heard of him before.
Manny Mua
He was like. I think his main thing was Ugly Betty.
Laura Lee
Okay, See, I didn't watch Ugly Betty.
Manny Mua
Okay, I didn't either, but I just remember him being, like, the hot guy from Ugly.
Laura Lee
Okay, got it.
Manny Mua
So I just didn't. I didn't watch it myself either. I kind of Wish I did. Like, that was like a, a phenomenon at the time.
Laura Lee
Ugly Betty. It was for sure, wasn't it?
Manny Mua
I thought.
Laura Lee
Okay, so the clothing brand, Kai.
Manny Mua
Oh, yeah, let's talk about this.
Laura Lee
There's a little discourse in the air about. So Ky, it's Kylie's Chloe brand and basically she came out with a lot of cute launches, I'll say mid price range. Some stuff was expensive, some stuff was like 30 bucks, like some, some not. And basically she's doing a rebrand with it because a lot of people notice that the website has constantly been down and then back up and then there's been a lot of changes. So she officially put out a statement that she wasn't sure about the identity of the brand and really wants to change that up. So she's taken some time to do a rebrand with it, which I think you should rebrand your brands and pivoted and change it as many times as you want to. But there was an influencer who noticed a discrep discrepancy in the sizing for the brand. So the brand has carried most of its lines, I think extra small through 4x. And like with the rebrand, it seems like with the new launches that they're not going to do, do that anymore. It seems like they're only doing like, I think maybe up to extra large.
Manny Mua
Okay.
Laura Lee
But the influencer said that she'd been sent PR by the Kai brand multiple times. I'm not sure what size she was, but I believe she was in the 2x3x4x one of those ranges. And whenever they sent her PR, they sent her an extra large and she was like, I wonder why they sent me extra large. That's not my size. So she went to the website to look at the products and it did have like XL2x3x4x listed, but all those sizes were like sold out from the day of the launch. So she was like, you guys are trying to fool people. Like you're not really providing those sizes, you're just marking them as sold out on the site. So there's a little discourse with that. Like, is she taking away the inclusive part of the brand or not? I don't know. Maybe it was just those pieces and they just left it like that. Yeah, but you know, she's doing a rebrand. There's a little bit of discourse behind it, but who knows? I feel like the Kardashian Jenners, you know, they've had so many brands, months.
Manny Mua
Yeah.
Laura Lee
And they're constantly trying different things. All the time and I think just
Manny Mua
to see what sticks.
Laura Lee
Yeah, basically, yeah. Once something doesn't stick, they either figure it out or drop it.
Manny Mua
100. I do feel like it's one of those things where, I don't know, I feel like they. I don't like the idea of them trying to like, fool their customer, obviously, because that's like, obviously insane. But like, is there a world in which that they did have them and they just sold out?
Laura Lee
Like, there is. I mean, absolutely. And maybe they just had super low, low stuff.
Manny Mua
You have like low quantity of that. And I think that in like, that world in clothing, I don't think they have the same kind of moq. Like in beauty, where it's like really quite intense. Thousands per unit, per color, things like that, where it's like maybe in clothing it's a little bit.
Laura Lee
It is less, you know.
Manny Mua
So I feel like maybe they. They just like. Let's say they could have had less units because maybe their customer.
Laura Lee
Clients.
Manny Mua
Yeah, the client isn't buying those sizes. So then like, okay, we're gonna have to make less of that because they're not moving anyway.
Laura Lee
So they're selling out way faster. I think that's like, probably a possibility as well for them.
Manny Mua
It could be like in the air. It could be literally like.
Laura Lee
Or maybe like there's some pieces they're not going to be able to provide in those sizes, but some pieces they are, you know, just not everything. Maybe that's a possibility too.
Manny Mua
Like some just like cannot be made that way.
Laura Lee
Yeah. And so maybe they should just take down from the site like those exercises instead of saying sold out. But this is us making all assumptions.
Manny Mua
Totally. That's what I'm saying. I'm just. I'm really just thinking out loud where I'm like thinking in the way of like, how, like how it would work or like what the actual, like, situation could be. Like, it could be multiple things. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. But yeah, I mean, that's very interesting.
Laura Lee
I know, it's very interesting.
Manny Mua
I'm very. I'm very like, I'm curious. It's just that the next launch, I'm like, curious to see like, what happens.
Laura Lee
Yeah.
Manny Mua
You know, I thought Kai had like, great stuff.
Laura Lee
It did. I bought stuff from there. Really cute stuff.
Manny Mua
Super cool stuff.
Laura Lee
Yeah, super cool stuff.
Manny Mua
So that's collections, right?
Laura Lee
Actually, yeah.
Manny Mua
Yeah.
Laura Lee
Excited to see like, what she does with the rebrand, cuz you know, see where she takes it.
Manny Mua
I want to wear some of those clothes sometimes.
Laura Lee
Well, Babe, either T. Girl it up
Manny Mua
or, or just say it.
Laura Lee
Yeah, you know, xl, babe, Excel.
Manny Mua
They might not have them, but they might not have it. You don't, you don't know. You guys, you don't know.
Laura Lee
What's our next toppy?
Manny Mua
Okay, the next one. I've been seeing like all over the news about the cruise ship that has had several cases of hantavirus. Three cases in which they've already passed away on the cruise ship. And it's a cruise, a cruise ship that's basically like their people are quarantined on this ship and they can't get docked.
Laura Lee
It says that the country that they're parked out outside of Africa right now has not allowed them to disembark the ship because of the virus being on the ship. They don't want it to spread. So they're basically locking down people on this ship. And three people have already died from the virus, which apparently they got off the ship because they were so sick and got admitted into the hospital in Se? A, South Africa and literally passed away. I think they were all elder, slightly more elderly and older. Yeah, a 69 year old, 70 year old passed away.
Manny Mua
But this, there's five other suspects of like getting it as well though.
Laura Lee
Oh my God. And it says that this is a virus passed down by rodents and that this is a very rare virus.
Manny Mua
Yes, I found a. Heard of hantavirus, like never in my life. But the fact that it's like essentially this little, this virus that's running rampant on this cruise ship and these poor people, 150 people are like quarantined on the ship.
Laura Lee
They're stuck on the ship with a rampant virus and right now two of the crew members have it.
Manny Mua
No. Yeah, I saw there was a video posted by one of the guys that's on the thing and he's like, I'm, I'm on this crew. Like I'm, I'm here. And he's like, this is not just like a headline. Like we are people and like we are so scared. And like it was a really, really, really sad and heartbreaking video to watch. And I'm just like, I don't know, genuinely like, what do you do in this situation when you have a deadly virus running rampant on a ship? What can you do other than quarantine? But it's like, dude, it's up for the people that are getting quarantined. Like, I don't even know what, because
Laura Lee
they don't have like testings for this virus. I'm assuming to be like, do you have it or do you. Yeah, not so easily. So. And then you don't want it to run rampant, start spreading everything.
Manny Mua
Also, like, they're not going to know that the incubation period right then and there of like, when someone's exposed for when they're showing symptoms. And, you know, it's such a scary and spooky thing.
Laura Lee
It says you have to be exposed to rodent droppings, urine, or saliva to get this.
Manny Mua
So, like, do you think, like the. Either the bat is.
Laura Lee
Ships are filled with rodents.
Manny Mua
Totally. So the rats are either like, in their food. Food or biting them in their sleep. I'm convinced, like, there's. There has to be something to do with that. Like. Like with the droppings or something like that. But the fact that it's like, infected people when it's a really.
Laura Lee
Unlike Covid. It's respiratory illness and it has a very high mortality rate. It says high mortality rate, says 38 of people that get it passed.
Manny Mua
Oh, my God.
Laura Lee
Yeah. So it's super dead. That's very high.
Manny Mua
They're so fiercely quarantined because they don't
Laura Lee
want this to spread.
Manny Mua
Oh, my God. Africa.
Laura Lee
Have people not seen the poopy Ship? Ship.
Manny Mua
See, that's. That will scar you for life.
Laura Lee
You cannot get on these cruises. You guys don't. I mean, they've gone south like, a million different times, so we can say that for sure. But remember the ships that broke down in the middle of the ocean, they didn't send another ship to come rescue them for the longest time. And people were having to throw their. Out of the side of them. I mean. I mean, poopy was everywhere on that ship.
Manny Mua
I honestly just can't imagine. Yes. Ran out of food. I just can't imagine being like, basically on, like a. A death situation. Like, you're literally on this, like, floating
Laura Lee
thing, and the rest of the world's just going on here on this thing, and they won't let you off because they think you might have the virus. Feels like a movie to me.
Manny Mua
It. No, it is a movie. I'm like, there's could literally be movies. I'm surprised it hasn't even been another movie. You know, like, do you have it cruise?
Laura Lee
Yeah.
Manny Mua
Zombie.
Laura Lee
I would never get on a cruise ship again.
Manny Mua
No. Now I'm like, I'm done. I'm past it's all right day.
Additional Narrator/Announcer
We're done.
Laura Lee
We're done. I'll never get on a cruise again. I took a couple cruises in my younger years. A gay Cruise. Will you do a gay season of cruise? No, they're opening a cruise and it, but it only holds, it only holds like less than 100. Like it's small, small, small luxury. Yeah, it's like less than 50 people. Like it's a yacht essentially and it's like a Four Seasons hotel on the
Manny Mua
water and completely different.
Laura Lee
We have to go though.
Manny Mua
We go from. Is that easy touch a cruise ship.
Laura Lee
I hear it's like right now it's like crazy expensive though.
Manny Mua
But also the thing is the, the actual like one of the issues with cruise ships as well is cuz obviously what's great about cruise is that you're able to travel to many different places
Laura Lee
and it's all inclusive.
Manny Mua
It's inclusive and it's like really, really great for that and I think that's really awesome for the camaraderie. Problem is that it's really easy to spread viruses and bacteria because you're on a cruise and it's like you're not. You're pretty mobile on there, like immobile like that's. You only have the cruise. Let's say everyone's going to one place to eat. Everyone's going one place like kind of figure things out and you don't know if the passengers are sick or anything like that. So it's really easy to spread things. That's what like freaks me out about cruises. It feels very like germy.
Laura Lee
Okay, so the four back to the Four Seasons.
Manny Mua
Let's go back, let's go back, let's
Laura Lee
go back to that because I have some information on that I think we all need to know about.
Manny Mua
I think we should all.
Laura Lee
Everyone, everyone listen up. Four Seasons cruise is launching in 20, 2026. It starts at $3,000 per day. The rooms and suites cost between 20,000 and 350,000 depending on which suite. Whichever suite you get, that's not per person, that's per suite. It's only four decks. So it's basically a giant yacht. And the entry level prices start for a seven night suite, 20, 25,000 if you want. Top tier 350,000 and standard is 30 to 45,000. This is a luxury hotel on the water and like we were saying it's only like not that many people can go. I think honestly it's a yachty actually. Oh, that's a lot. 190 guests. But main cruise ships like Carnival is like thousands.
Manny Mua
That's what I'm saying. Like I feel like there's. When I think of cruises I think about like thousands of people. I don't think about 120.
Laura Lee
Okay, say that 120. So let's see how many people are on.
Manny Mua
Well, yeah, I was on a Carnival.
Laura Lee
Carnival Cruises.
Manny Mua
I just think it's thousands. But it could be hundreds.
Laura Lee
No, I think it's between. Is what says between six two thousand, six thousand five hundred. So the. So the four seasons is up to like 120. So that's substantially.
Manny Mua
I mean, it's like a way do luxury with 600.
Laura Lee
You can't 6,000 people.
Manny Mua
Unless it. Oh, no,
Laura Lee
6,000.
Manny Mua
Not 6,000. No, babe, that's so crazy.
Laura Lee
No, that's.
Manny Mua
No, that's honestly crazy. Like, the prices are way out.
Laura Lee
It's because it's brand new. Like, they're just debuting it this year. It's just starting, and we have to let them. I think it would be a great retirement trip for us.
Manny Mua
I think that Four Seasons.
Additional Narrator/Announcer
Feel free to hit us up.
Manny Mua
Honestly, feel. Are you on. Are you miked? Yeah. Yeah. Okay. What I really feel is that they should sponsor that full coverage. Yeah. An episode on the Four Seasons deck, you guys. That would be a great episode.
Laura Lee
I need experience.
Manny Mua
And you know what? We're doing it for you. We want you guys to be able to see what's happening.
Laura Lee
If y' all see me on that. Don't say.
Manny Mua
Don't say.
Laura Lee
Damn it.
Manny Mua
Laura, what happened to you? I got on cruises.
Laura Lee
Me of Four Seasons. The Lord's like, they kicked me off.
Manny Mua
Hey, you can't.
Laura Lee
That's Carnival business.
Manny Mua
That's Carnival. Honestly, I've been like, my. Not my whole life. Oh, my God. For a long time, I wanted to. On a gay cruise just to see the experience of a gay cruise. And I've told you this a million times.
Laura Lee
They book out.
Manny Mua
They book one. They book out like insane. But also, like, the idea of like the Jeremy thing being on a cruise semen is. Oh, that she men. See you guys, people. I have friends that go on gay cruises that tell me that they already pre. Prescribe doxy prep, like just to get it all in their system before so they don't get catch every single disease.
Laura Lee
Oh, my God.
Manny Mua
Yeah.
Laura Lee
There's gotta be a better way.
Manny Mua
Is it a better way? So literally everyone's just on the ship. I would want to go just for the. To see. Not trying to.
Laura Lee
Oh, you're trying to. You are not trying to see.
Manny Mua
And take a look.
Laura Lee
Do not believe this fool.
Manny Mua
I don't take a long time look
Laura Lee
again me on there, all the gays.
Manny Mua
I just want to take a little gandy and see what's. But also, like, the gay cruises, they're like, they're going to, like, the Maldives. Like, they're doing, like, really intense party. Like, big cruises. Yeah. Like Spain cruises.
Laura Lee
Oh, yeah.
Manny Mua
Like, I'm like, girl, y' all can't do a little Florida Keys.
Laura Lee
The gays do love the Florida Keys now.
Manny Mua
They do. They love the Keys.
Laura Lee
Love the Florida Keys.
Manny Mua
Can you do a little Cabo gauge one? Like, come on.
Laura Lee
I know. They need to do a little pv, baby. You're gonna get the hep. You're gonna get the hep again.
Manny Mua
I've already had hep A. I can't get it again. That was horrible. I cannot get hepatitis.
Laura Lee
You're gonna get. You can't be going on these cruises now.
Additional Narrator/Announcer
No, it's just a little food for thought. The biggest cruise ship in the world can hold nearly. Almost 8, 000 passengers, but with the crew included, 10,000 people.
Manny Mua
My personal 2,000 crew members. That's all. I mean, it makes sense. You have to have a lot of.
Laura Lee
It's giving Titanic, baby. How many people. Titanic?
Manny Mua
Yeah. How many people are on a Titanic?
Laura Lee
That's my personal hill.
Manny Mua
The fact that we were on, like,
Laura Lee
a floating nightmare, Blunt rotation nightmare also.
Manny Mua
Ain't no service there, baby.
Laura Lee
10, 000 people, no service.
Additional Narrator/Announcer
I'm going between 2, 200 to 2, 200.
Manny Mua
Titanic.
Additional Narrator/Announcer
On the Titanic, yeah.
Laura Lee
How many?
Additional Narrator/Announcer
2,200.
Carvana Announcer
Okay.
Manny Mua
So it was too much for me.
Laura Lee
Cruise. That was pretty good. Big cruise.
Manny Mua
That's two. It wasn't a cruise, though.
Additional Narrator/Announcer
That was trans.
Laura Lee
Oh, yeah. That was transportation. That was transportation.
Additional Narrator/Announcer
It's not for fun.
Laura Lee
Very, very wealthy friend. I won't say any names. And it's not.
Manny Mua
I know who it is.
Laura Lee
It's not Jackson. I have a very, very, very, very wealthy friend. And she decides, oh, I have two kids. I think it was like their spring break. She was like, we should try a cruise. So we should just. We should just play around. We should try the cruise. We should see what this business is all about. She told me she got on that cruise. Her and her kids were like, oh,
Manny Mua
no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. What kind of cruise?
Laura Lee
I was probably like a Royal Caribbean or something like that. The first stop that they make, she hires a private jet.
Manny Mua
No, she does.
Laura Lee
Yes, she does. And never gets back on the boat. She hired a private jet and got her the out of there. She said, oh, honey, book the jet.
Manny Mua
Simply can. We simply can't to be that rich and that Wealthy. To be like, you guys, just like, this is it. Cr. I have to get the jet out of here.
Laura Lee
I got a jet coming to Madrid. We're getting the out of here.
Manny Mua
I'm guys.
Laura Lee
I know.
Manny Mua
But the thing is, there are, I'm sure cruises that are not four seasons, that are nice, too. Like, that are nicer.
Laura Lee
Oh, yeah.
Manny Mua
You know, I'm sure there's, like, other versions of it that are, like. I'm sure there's a type of rating system that's like the bougiest ones to, like, the worst kind.
Laura Lee
Spirit Airlines.
Manny Mua
Spirit. Is there a Spirit Sea? Is there a Spirit at Sea? Like, I don't know.
Laura Lee
Spirit C. Is it? Carnival is not Spirit. I'm gonna Google.
Manny Mua
Spirit of the Sea is crazy, bro. What is the Spirit of the Sea, Tyler?
Laura Lee
The cheapest.
Manny Mua
Look it up.
Laura Lee
What's the cheapest cruise line?
Manny Mua
Yeah, like, just, like, the most.
Laura Lee
Like, if it says Carnival, I'm gonna scream carney. Margaritaville of the Sea is considered the cheapest cruise line. 100 to $130 per person. That's their lowest voyages.
Manny Mua
Okay, well, Margarita, you know what?
Laura Lee
That's my personal. That's my personal.
Manny Mua
No, Margaritaville, the sea. I just can't. I just don't think that's gonna work for me, girl. What do you mean?
Additional Narrator/Announcer
So this list here has the Margaritaville at the Sea, but also carnivals on that list. They did a top three in carnivals
Manny Mua
on it, and top three.
Laura Lee
Me and Ty went on a carnival cruise one time during his college spring break, and we got the cheapest room that we get at the very bottom of the boat. We were basically next door to the workers.
Manny Mua
And you didn't get seasick?
Laura Lee
I did. It was horrible. Horrible. Yeah, girl. You felt that rocking at night. I was below deck. I was below deck, Laura.
Manny Mua
Yeah, that just, like, simply would not work.
Laura Lee
And then we, like, got off the boat in Mexico, and I was piss drunk getting back on that boat. Oh, I am talking blacked out in the streets of Mexico, because everywhere. Oh, pissing everywhere. Because I remember, you know, they have areas where they know the carnival, like, the cruise people are going to be getting off. And, like, there's a bunch of shops. And when I tell you that, by the way, this is my first time in Mexico, we're like Ensenada or something like that. They have all these little shops, all these cute. And I've never even been out of the country. I have a passport card. Not even a real book. Because if you're on a boat, you can use your passport card. Card. They have, like, a card, but it only works by ship, not plane.
Manny Mua
Okay.
Laura Lee
So the book takes much longer. It's a lot more expensive. So I ordered a passport card. So I'm in Mexico, and they have all these little shops, like, they sell them little. So I was buying some. And every single time you would buy something, a dude would pull a tequila bottle out from behind and would give you a shot if you bought something.
Manny Mua
Oh, so you were plastered.
Laura Lee
I was.
Manny Mua
Did you buy. You were buying things?
Laura Lee
I bought so many things. Swear to God.
Manny Mua
Just for the show. Was what money in that pocket?
Laura Lee
It was like five cents, you know? And I remember, though, less than the shot was. Oh, way less. I remember, though, I had, like, a $20 bill, and there was. I was, like, so blacked out. There was a man with a fruit cart, and he had just, like, a orange. Like a raw orange. One orange. And I gave that man $20. I swear to God, I gave that.
Manny Mua
You were that up.
Laura Lee
That up. I was like, I need that orange so bad, sir. I'm on. I was like, this is 20.
Manny Mua
He's like, he lucked the out with that 20. And for one orange.
Laura Lee
Yep, for that one orange. And I dragged my sorry ass back on that boat. Spring break college.
Manny Mua
I mean, that's the college way. I guess it is, man.
Laura Lee
You gotta live. You gotta live.
Manny Mua
I lived after you did. But it is the college way for a lot of heteros.
Laura Lee
Yeah.
Manny Mua
Part of it. The spring break cruise. Mexico. Tulum. Wait, what's the other. What's the place that people go to that party a lot in Mexico? That's more like.
Additional Narrator/Announcer
We went to Cozumel that she was talking about.
Laura Lee
I thought we went to Ensenada.
Additional Narrator/Announcer
Ensenada's on the.
Manny Mua
Cozumel is not what I'm talking about here. I think it is too long.
Laura Lee
I think I was.
Manny Mua
That's like the more party place of Mexico.
Laura Lee
Cancun.
Manny Mua
Cancun, yeah. Talking about Cancun. I never, like, did, like, spring break Cancun vibes. That's why I'm like, I've never done that. But I know that's a huge thing in Cancun, specifically. I love that, though.
Laura Lee
Yeah.
Manny Mua
At least you gotta experience it. You gave that man your 20?
Laura Lee
I sure did.
Manny Mua
Girl.
Laura Lee
Girl.
Manny Mua
And that was your last 20.
Laura Lee
And that was probably the last 20 I saw for a long, long time.
Manny Mua
I was like, yeah, it was his 22.
Laura Lee
Yep.
Manny Mua
That was my. The next 20 was ties that went and left.
Laura Lee
I remember you had to buy, like, the soda pass card. And we were just broke as on that cruise.
Manny Mua
What's a soda pass card?
Laura Lee
You have to buy like pay extra to get like sodas. So you have to pay for a soda card. And we couldn't pay for excursions. We could. I'm talking about, you know, when we scrounged our pennies together to literally get on this boat because it was his roommate and her girlfriend. It was like the four of us. And it's just so funny the memories you make whenever you literally scrap by to make a trip happen.
Additional Narrator/Announcer
One soda card.
Laura Lee
Oh, I rem. We bought. Bought the four of us. We bought one soda card and we were just pass it around and use it. It was so funny.
Additional Narrator/Announcer
We also snuck booze on.
Laura Lee
Oh yeah. We absolutely filled up so many flasks. Cuz you had to buy.
Manny Mua
You can bring there. Because I thought you get free alcohol on the cruise.
Laura Lee
You can bring wine. But we. No, alcohol is not free. It's not inclusive.
Manny Mua
I thought was inclusive.
Laura Lee
No, alcohol's not inclusive.
Manny Mua
You guys. You guys inclusive cruises, but not on carnival Bab.
Laura Lee
It's like spirit.
Manny Mua
God damn you, carnival.
Laura Lee
You got to pay for every extra gone. So I remember we filled up all these flasks with liquor. Like plastic flasks so they wouldn't go through the metal detector or something like that with liquor. And we were like making drinks in our room. We'd order a coke and go to our room. We would go to our room in like 54D at the bottom of the where the engines are running.
Manny Mua
But I bet you guys have the best time.
Laura Lee
Yeah, they made us serve people at night too.
Manny Mua
No, they didn't.
Laura Lee
No. Imagine they're like okay below deck.
Manny Mua
For real.
Laura Lee
You know, we were.
Manny Mua
Okay. So we caught you in those flights glass.
Laura Lee
Yeah.
Manny Mua
Toilet time.
Laura Lee
Clean the poopy, you guys.
Manny Mua
Time for poopy. Clean up, baby. The poop deck as they call it. Dude, that is so crazy.
Laura Lee
Yeah.
Manny Mua
God, I really missed out on those drunken years, you know?
Laura Lee
You did, man. You could have got up with me. You. I would have ruined your life.
Manny Mua
You would have.
Laura Lee
I would have had me.
Manny Mua
We met at the perfect time.
Laura Lee
We did not a second sooner, baby. Second.
Manny Mua
I used to be shy.
Laura Lee
You would have been awakened.
Manny Mua
I would have been.
Laura Lee
Been like, oh, mom. Yeah, take her with
Manny Mua
like wild Thornber. No, she is. She's a. That's Laura.
Laura Lee
I loved it.
Manny Mua
Running like this.
Laura Lee
Couldn't do it now.
Manny Mua
No, actually you could do. You could push some down.
Laura Lee
I could do some damage now. No, no, no, no. Laura, you can't the hangovers remember that time, lights out two years these ago. Oh, I tell these stories, and then I get these paragraphs. Her office. They're like, she's an alcoholic.
Manny Mua
I loved when she got blacked out two years ago.
Laura Lee
You guys always bring it back. Coaching me into rehab.
Manny Mua
No, Laura, no. They know. Knows you are not an alcoholic yet it's a problem. We can tell it's a problem. No, they know you're not alcoholic.
Laura Lee
I was a alcoholic. I know what an alcoholic is. Okay. I know what an alcoholic is. Is grew up.
Manny Mua
They know you're not an alcoholic, Laura. They know.
Laura Lee
They don't know.
Manny Mua
Laura's like, they don't know.
Laura Lee
Like, this. I am.
Manny Mua
They don't know.
Laura Lee
They don't know.
Manny Mua
They know. But that was really. That was funny.
Laura Lee
That was fun.
Manny Mua
I had such a fun time.
Laura Lee
Oh, when I was pissed ass drunk.
Manny Mua
When your titties were out on accident,
Laura Lee
I was like, why the was I that drunk? I only had two drinks at dinner. And y' all were all like, girl,
Manny Mua
you thought you tried it. You know, if it was like, why am I so up? I'm like, because you wouldn't leave. Yeah. Yeah. Because you would want to get out of there.
Laura Lee
So many drinks and shots.
Manny Mua
Oh, so funny. It was just fun night.
Laura Lee
Very, very fun night.
Manny Mua
I have to recreate that one.
Laura Lee
No, I was puking the next day.
Manny Mua
We got for, like, three days.
Laura Lee
I'm not even doing good to convince you. I'm not. They're like, see, this is why we say stuff. I know. Karen's writing her paragraph right now. Now. Yes, she is. She's loaded up.
Manny Mua
She's like, karen's like this.
Laura Lee
You need to see Christ counseling.
Manny Mua
316, John.
Laura Lee
Yes. Being.
Manny Mua
Is that a. That is a thing, right?
Laura Lee
That's literally the tattoo on my back. Yeah.
Manny Mua
That's why I thought that was such a good pull from you, man. Thank you. That's what I thought of. Maybe that's why. That's what's. That's what's envisioning in me is your tattoo. That's how I can see 3 and 16.
Laura Lee
Oh, my God.
Manny Mua
What is it? What is that verse? Do you know?
Laura Lee
For God, love the world, that he gave his only son? Yeah. Yeah.
Manny Mua
I would like to know.
Laura Lee
Bible beater right here. You know, I'll do it. You have a Bible beat, Manny.
Manny Mua
Why that one specifically?
Laura Lee
Okay, this was my idea. We all talk about this a lot.
Manny Mua
I have a question. Why is for God.
Laura Lee
So here was my idea. Here's my idea. Here's my idea. Yeah. One I had was 18 for 24 hours before I got this tattoo. Meaning there was no frontal lobe. No frontal lobe.
Manny Mua
Not even a middle.
Laura Lee
Not even a middle. So we're going to give me grace there. Second part is I had a friend getting a tattoo with me, so that gives me all the validation I need. It was a co sign.
Manny Mua
Okay. But I want to go back to the words of what 316 is in the Christian Bible.
Laura Lee
That is the verse that gets you locked into heaven.
Manny Mua
You're locked and loaded.
Laura Lee
That's the locked and loaded. So my thought was, wow, if you get a tattoo, you're going to have to, like, want that forever.
Manny Mua
Yeah.
Laura Lee
I'll always believe in God, so I'll get this Bible first. And this is a sure way that I will not regret this tattoo. So in my brain I was like, I won't regret the tattoo.
Manny Mua
Especially in your lower back. How about your lower back?
Additional Narrator/Announcer
That.
Laura Lee
Why tell them that?
Manny Mua
They know you said J like, three seconds ago. She goes, why can I tell like, the three minutes ago that you told me first? So why there if you're going to heaven?
Laura Lee
I feel like God would wash me of my sin.
Manny Mua
One of these.
Laura Lee
That part was because my frontal. I honestly was in high school and low rise jeans were in style and I wanted to look hot. I wanted to look hot. I'm being dead serious. Low rises were cool.
Additional Narrator/Announcer
Hot, but classic classy with the.
Manny Mua
I think that's where it was like
Laura Lee
a layer of class.
Additional Narrator/Announcer
Hey, boys.
Manny Mua
I'm here, but I'm here, but I'm a Christian.
Laura Lee
I'm not pure. I wasn't pure.
Manny Mua
Oh. And I know at that time, but
Laura Lee
I wanted my tattoo to peek out a little bit.
Manny Mua
Yeah.
Laura Lee
Show me. I'm a.
Manny Mua
So now do you try to hide
Laura Lee
it high schools or do you let
Manny Mua
it out like it?
Laura Lee
Oh, no, I hide it with the depths of myself.
Manny Mua
You know, we're really plunging back to, like, your crack.
Laura Lee
And seasons are in now, so I am willing to show it. I don't know. Yes, I will show it because it's, like, cool now.
Manny Mua
You know what? Tick tock. Story time 316.
Additional Narrator/Announcer
Show it right now.
Laura Lee
No, I'm not gonna show it. It's a privilege to see this.
Manny Mua
It is. You know, and I'm. And I'm blessed to never see anything.
Laura Lee
Also, someone brought up a good point, and I really like their perspective on it. They were like, as a human being, like, we constantly evolve, and you go through seasons and, like, that tattoo is definitely a your life and a season of who you were and, like, would totally, on a whim, just go get a huge tattoo across your lower back at one point in your life. And it's, like, cool to have that memory, like, because it's there. So they, like, wrote a comment, and I was like, you know what? I really do like that perspective.
Manny Mua
I love that. I actually think that's, like, the perfect perspective because it's kind of funny who you were at that time.
Laura Lee
Yes. And it's kind of funny to, like, live in these shoes and be the person I am today, where you couldn't pay me a million bucks to go do something like that. But I still have the tattoo, so it's kind of cool.
Manny Mua
Like, it was you at one point.
Laura Lee
I was that for sure. Yeah. So, yeah, that's the story.
Manny Mua
We really trailed on that one, dude.
Laura Lee
It got deep.
Manny Mua
Got really deep. Got really dark. And, you know, I think that's the end of the episode.
Laura Lee
I think that's the wrap.
Manny Mua
I got a bed.
Laura Lee
I got a bed.
Manny Mua
It's 9pm Babe. I'm tired.
Laura Lee
It is 9. It is 9 o'.
Manny Mua
Clock.
Laura Lee
I have to go home now.
Manny Mua
I have to wash off my makeup and.
Laura Lee
Yeah.
Manny Mua
But anyway, this is actually fantastic. What a fun.
Laura Lee
What a great episode.
Manny Mua
It was so, so, so, so good.
Laura Lee
It's like, you guys, I forget the camera's rolling, and this just be Manny me and talking.
Manny Mua
I know. See, that's. That's the fun part about it.
Laura Lee
This is how we get in trouble.
Manny Mua
That's how we get in trouble.
Laura Lee
That's how we get in trouble.
Manny Mua
Let loose.
Laura Lee
We love you guys.
Manny Mua
I'm also delirious because it's late, so we love you guys so much. We'll see you guys in our next episode.
Laura Lee
Bye, guys.
Manny Mua
Bye.
