Jesus is the foundation, and we—the Body of Christ—are the building. But what kind of building are we? And who is the architect? Why is it important to know that we're God's building? Come with me on a journey through Scripture as we answer these questions and more!

During His 3 to 3.5 years of ministry on the Earth, Jesus laid the foundational truths of New Testament doctrine. After His resurrection and ascension, His disciples continued to preach and build the Church upon this foundation. This foundation laid in the hearts of His disciples revealed an amazing side effect: people began to take note that they had been with Jesus. Join me in this episode as we discover how the result of building our lives on the Word of God changes us to be just like Jesus. And as you and I surrender more and more of our lives to the living Word of God, the world around us will be able to see and take note that we've been with Jesus, too!

Martin Luther (1483-1546 AD) is a real-life example of someone who, in the face of major religious persecution and denominational division, chose to make the Word of God the final authority in his life. He was willing to forgo all he previously thought was the truth in order to put his faith in the Scriptures that disproved what he had always thought was true. And because of that, God was able to reveal to him foundational revelation for the entire Body of Christ that had been lost since the Book of Acts. Let the Word of God enrich you today as we take a brief look into the life of this brave man of God.

Every building must have a foundation in order to stand and not fall. According to the Bible, the building we're made to be and the house we choose to build should be built on the Word of God. In this episode, we will learn more about what it means to build our lives upon Jesus—the Word of God—Who is the foundation of our building.

Join us for our very first episode as we talk about Jesus, the Foundation of the Body of Christ! Together, we’ll explore how He has saved us—spirit, soul, and body—and what that means for our everyday lives. Let’s dive in!
