Wo. Car wash, yeah oh, come on, sing it with me Car wash, car wash yeah.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
I'll sing it with you, Angel. I'll sing it with you, man. Oh, my God.
Joe Rubin
Damn.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
That's such an awesome way to open.
Joe Rubin
Oh, man, I love her voice. I love it. It's. She's got such a unique sound to her. Like, what a great voice.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Yeah. Unique sound, but, like, also, like, just so much, like, soul in it. So much. Like, just grit.
Joe Rubin
So much. Awesome.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Oh, yeah.
Joe Rubin
No, it wasn't just the sound. Like, she crushed the song too. Like.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Yeah, yeah.
Joe Rubin
Really good.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Absolutely had that disco fever in there, man.
Joe Rubin
It was exactly.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
That was Angel Lark singing Car Wash. Yeah. From the movie Car Wash. The song talks about, like, meeting people, like an Indian chief and all that at the car wash. I know that when I want to go meet people, most people. See, now, this is the trick. Most people go to the local pub, and they're like, I'm gonna have a fight, and I'm gonna go meet some people at the bar. But those are, like, lonely, depressed people. And, like, you know, it's. It's like it's easy, you know, I like to go to the car wash, you know, and I like to go hang out and while their cars are going through, then you know who you want to meet. Like, all right, I see that Beamer. Yeah. Who. Who, who got the Beamer? I'm going to talk to that person. And that's actually how we met.
Joe Rubin
I, I was going to guess gas station bathroom, but.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
I was on the other side. And it.
Joe Rubin
What was, what did it say on top of in.
Mike Whiston
In.
Joe Rubin
Dumb and Dumber be here at 7 o'. Clock. What was it?
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Damn, I can't remember. Was that Dumb and Dumber?
Mike Whiston
Yeah.
Joe Rubin
No, what was, what did it say?
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Yeah, it was, it was like trucker guy for a good time, you know, whatever.
Joe Rubin
I'd be here at 7pm it was.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Like 7, you know, for some great karaoke.
Joe Rubin
Oh, my God.
Mike Whiston
Oh, oh, oh.
Joe Rubin
Speaking of that, I, I have, I give this the secret password.
Mike Whiston
Dude.
Joe Rubin
It's number. The secret number. The secret number. Right now, if you're listening to this right now, this episode, and you are down at Podfest, the secret number is 5. 5.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Once again, the secret number is. Yeah. 5.
Mike Whiston
5.
Joe Rubin
Now, if you're not at Pod Fest and don't give a shit, that means nothing to you. So let's continue with the regularly scheduled programming. But if you're PodFest, that number is fine. Yeah, we're doing an awesome scavenger hunt right now for a secret buried treasure.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Yeah.
Joe Rubin
And the number is five. What?
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
We're gonna let you know all about it, but first, I am Mike Whiston. I am the co host and co founder of the Friday Night Karaoke Podcast and the Friday Night Karaoke Facebook group.
Joe Rubin
And I am Joe Rubin with the same exact title. And welcome to the newest episode. And if you haven't already guessed, it's. It's TV themes and movie themes and commercial themes and any sort of theme song. That's what we're doing this week.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
I love this week. There are so many theme songs that really just get stuck in your head. Some of them are like just, you know, they're just phenomenal. They, they, they follow you forever. I mean, you know the songs from Labyrinth with David Bowie, I mean, they. Some of the best songs ever. Never Ending story.
Joe Rubin
Yeah.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
And you just start singing that and everyone else is going to be singing along with you. Yeah, you know, that's a demolition, man. They were like, just singing like all the songs of the theme songs.
Joe Rubin
Yeah.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Theme songs, man.
Joe Rubin
It's good that you have like Cool songs stuck in your head. I have like, commercials from the 80s stuck in my head, like cherry Coke and like the double mint commercial. Like, it's just I have like the stupidest in my head.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Double double your refreshments.
Joe Rubin
You know, like, that's the kind of that gets stuck in my head.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
No, there's nothing wrong with it. You know, those things kind of just like embed themselves in there and you can't get rid of them. They're there forever. So once again, that was Angel Lark with car wash from the movie Car wash to kick off movies TV commercial theme week for the Friday night karaoke podcast. This is episode number 69 and we are super stoked to be here. I love themes like this. They're super fun. You know, there's a whole bunch of serious themes that we put in the group. And again, for anyone that doesn't know, if you go to Facebook and type in Friday night karaoke, you'll find our community of a little over 36,000 members negativity free ad free. It's a really just all about the music. And that's where we pull these songs from. Every week we have a new theme and the theme for this one was actually FnK themes. So it was all about what do you know? I know, right? So we have a whole bunch to go through since most theme songs are short. So we're going to go through to a minimum. Coming up next, we have a phenomenal member of the Friday night karaoke community. This man is man. I love his voice. He puts on some awesome stuff or puts out some awesome stuff in the group. Has some amazing range. And he's going to be showing it to us with his best rendition of the Pokemon theme song. I love this. I actually, Leo Marchioli did this song, you know, like the. The heavy metal guy who like does, oh, nice as metal and like, it's better than the original. Like, I listen to it all the time. It's so good. But let's give it up for Kimo Coleman with the Pokemon theme song. Here it is. I'm doing Pokemon from the 90s.
Joe Rubin
Here we go.
Mike Whiston
I wanna be the very best like no one ever was to catch them is my real test to train them is my tongue I will travel across the land Searching far and wide Use Pokemon to understand the power that is inside Pokemon Gotta catch em on a show and me I know it's my destiny Pokemon oh, you're my best friend In a world we must defend Pokemon Gotta catch em Allah so true Our courage Will pull us through. You teach me and I'll teach you Pokemon. Gotta catch him up. Gotta catch him.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
I tell you what, I'm catching. I'm catching some chemo fever because that was great.
Joe Rubin
That was really good, dude.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
That was really good.
Joe Rubin
Yeah, you know, he watched that like every, you know, he loved that show. I mean, I mean, everyone, you know, everyone love that show. It's like, you can tell, right? He's like, what are you gonna sing? He's like, the Pokemon theme. 100. I'm in it.
Mike Whiston
Yeah.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Like, I'm in, like, I was waiting for people to put up like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles or.
Mike Whiston
Right.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
You know, any of like those old classics as well. You know, there's a lot of them that don't actually have any words, you know, like. Or they have like, just like super basic words like, where was the Transformers theme? Do you remember?
Mike Whiston
Was it.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Wasn't it just like.
Joe Rubin
Yeah, more than meet the Autobots, Wage battle to destroy the evil forces of the Decepticons.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Okay, you win. You win.
Joe Rubin
Optimus Prime.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
I think I need more people putting that stuff out there because Transformers. All right. I have that Megatron from last week, if you remember. I. I totally have that Megatron and Megatron.
Joe Rubin
Yes.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
You can do the voice, man. You got it. So once again, that was Chemo Coleman with the Pokemon theme song. Kind of alluded in the loot. You were like, pretty damn.
Joe Rubin
Yeah, it was a subtle hint for sure.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Yeah. We have a secret number again. Once again, that secret number was five.
Joe Rubin
It was.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
But what is that for?
Joe Rubin
We're doing a treasure hunt at the event right now. If you're. I mean, it's live now. It's no secret anymore. Right. We're. We're here at podfest, like as this is live. Right. You know, shortly. And we made our theme this year, pirate theme, just for fun. And it gives me an excuse to continue growing out the beard, you know, and. Yeah, that's why we did it. This beard is now a tax deduction, which is nice.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
So we're actually hosting this really cool event on Thursday the 16th. We're going to be at. Oh, Shucks, we mentioned this last time. But if you actually go into the Friday night karaoke community on Facebook, you can see the post and see all the details. But yeah, it's going to be over at oh, Shucks on International Drive in Orlando and we will be hosting a big karaoke party.
Joe Rubin
Yeah, a little karaoke. Just chilling. Evening. So if you're there right now and you're listening to this PodFest podcast. Come on down, join us. And, and the. The secret number is basically we're doing a big scavenger hunt. We've got as. As pirates do, buried treasure and, and we have a big treasure map. And you gotta find the clues, you gotta read it Goonies style. You know, I want you, I want. You need. You need Mouth to translate it from Spanish for you and, and just read it and, and, and find the right numbers to unlock the combination of the treasure chest and get the buried treasure.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
You know what? You know, I could totally do the Truffle Shuffle now. I've got.
Joe Rubin
Yeah, you can.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
I've gotten to that stage in my life where I can do the truffle shuffle, you know, accurately. So, Joe, I'm taking you home with me.
Mike Whiston
You're gonna live with me now.
Joe Rubin
Did you know he didn't even clear that with his parents? I feel like that's a big ask. You know, like, imagine like sprinkling on there and this mom's dad's like, oh, really?
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
That's the best.
Mike Whiston
Really?
Joe Rubin
Not even know.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Fun fact. Fun fact.
Mike Whiston
The.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
When we first started the Friday night karaoke community, like, what, four years ago, something like that. The very first profile image on Facebook was Sloth from the Goonies with a microphone in front of his mouth.
Joe Rubin
That's awesome, dude. I got. I have a Goonies like Sloth pirate image on my Jeep. Like a little sticker on the back of my Jeep.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
I'm jelly.
Mike Whiston
It's cool.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
I'm jelly.
Mike Whiston
That's awesome.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
So coming up next, we have a classic. And you know, there's, you know, this is themes. There's gonna be a ton of classics in here, but another classic. This is gonna be from the older 1967 version of Spider Man. And none other than. Oh, I don't. I'm not drinking tonight, but no, if I want coffee, maybe doing a shot. We'd be doing a shot. It's Eric Dabrowski with the theme from Spider Man. Gotta do the shot. There he is.
Mike Whiston
Spider Man. Spider man. Whatever.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Spider can spin to every size can't you see?
Mike Whiston
Just like lies look out here comes a spider man Is he strong?
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Listen, bud, he's got radioactive blood can.
Mike Whiston
You swim from afresh? Take a look overhead hey there, there goes a spider man in the chill of night at the scene of a crime like a streak of light he arrives just in time Spider Man, Spider Man Friendly neighborhood Spider Man Wealthy, Fame is ignored Action is his reward to him life is a great big bang up Whenever there's a hang up. You'll find a spider. Man.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Man, this is messing me up. It's like a minute long. Like I haven't even gathered my thoughts. Eric Gabrowski, that was phenomenal. I, you know, I, I love like Eric puts his all into every single song he puts out and he does like a wide range. Like he challenges himself with a little bit of everything. He actually I think started putting up his like own, he has his own album now out on Spotify he does listen to and his own songs. Yeah.
Joe Rubin
Which is so cool. I love that. And he just started that recently, you know, like he joined Friday Night Karaoke a few years ago. He's one of our oldest members. Not age wise, but like one of our originalists. Originalist members. And yeah, and, and, and he's just, he's always been just fantastic at, at singing and doing what he does and being so supportive of the whole community and decided one day he just taking this to the next level and, and put out his own songs. How cool is that?
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
And the dude's actually like jacked.
Joe Rubin
Oh, he's totally jacked.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
You know, like, you know, have you ever seen Dragon Ball? You know, where they're, where they're doing like the training like with like you know, 100 times gravity and you know, just like ripped like that's, that, that's, that's Eric Dabrowski. You know, I think the dude can probably do like a thousand push ups with like two fingers.
Joe Rubin
One handed. Right?
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Like. Yeah, he's got this while singing.
Joe Rubin
Right.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Like a nice little Disney song. Yeah, he's got it going on. So Eric Dabovsky with the Spider man theme song. You know, I never saw the old 1967 Spider man, you know.
Joe Rubin
Yes, you did.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
No, I mean I've seen like clips of it, but I've never actually sat and watched it. I don't believe maybe when I was a kid I did but you must have dude. At all. Wow. I don't. Yeah. But you know, apparently that the theme was like so popular that Michael Buble like recorded his own version and like a bajillion other artists. That's a successful theme.
Joe Rubin
All right.
Mike Whiston
Yeah.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Yeah. Michael Buble man. I, I, I, I always thought he was like super lame until like I.
Joe Rubin
Didn'T you heard him, until you heard him sing and then he's like, oh, he's so good.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
He's so good.
Joe Rubin
Yeah, it's the name Buble. He's like, hey, he can't be that good with a name like that. But Then you hear him singing. He's, like, phenomenal.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Yeah. You know, like, originally I thought he was like some old dude, you know, from back in the day that used to, you know, just do, like, lounge music and stuff. I didn't realize he's like a young dude. Youngish dude, I guess.
Joe Rubin
Youngest.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Yeah. Something old. I'm 43.
Joe Rubin
I. I have no idea how old he is, but he's got an old soul.
Mike Whiston
Yeah.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
I don't know. Yeah. Moisturizes, maybe when you go to the car wash, bathroom, you know. All right, coming up next, we got Jennifer Adams, moderator for the Friday night karaoke community. Just like Eric Dabrowski. And, you know, they both put in some great work to keep the. The threads negativity free and just keep everything moving in the right direction. But Jennifer is also just a phenomenal person with a amazing voice, and she's put out some absolutely incredible songs over the last few years here. Coming up with this song is a show that I definitely did watch a ton of, and just a theme that we're probably most people our age would be familiar with. This is going to be Suicide is Painless. And you know what show that is?
Joe Rubin
No.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
It's mash. Oh, listen. Yeah. I never knew the name. You know, I never knew. No.
Joe Rubin
Yeah, that's. That's a new one for me.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Here it is.
Mike Whiston
Visions of the things to be Pains that are withheld from me I realize and I can see that suicide is painless it brings on many changes and I can take Ignore me that if I please the game of life is hard to play I'm gonna lose it anyway A losing cardi someday so I have to. The sword of time will pierce our skins it doesn't hurt when it begins as it is it works its way on it the pain is stronger Watch it rain Suicide is painless it brings a little change and I can take or leave it if I please Brave men once requested me to answer questions that are de. Is it to be or not to be? And I reply it all I ask me and I can take the leave I please. You can do the same thing if you please.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Man, that song is dark. I never realized how dark that song is. When I was young, I used to watch mash. You know, like, my parents used to watch it or my dad used to watch it, and I used to watch it, and I know the song. I. I couldn't, like, recite the words. You know, I couldn't sing the words.
Joe Rubin
But, no, I don't remember hearing words. I just remember Hearing like the. Yeah, I mean, background music.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Yeah, same. Those words are really dark. So I looked it up and that theme, Suicide is Painless. Like that actual song was written by the 14 year old son of the director of MASH. So a 14 year old dude wrote this song.
Joe Rubin
That's one deep dude. That's.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Yeah, it's deep. It's dark.
Joe Rubin
Troubled kid.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Holy. But let me tell you, Jennifer Adams just vocal awesome.
Joe Rubin
Oh, she's great.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
I was just texting Joe in the. While that song was going on. I'm like, I'm having so much trouble. It's 1207am for me in Japan right now.
Joe Rubin
Oh, you're such a. I'm trying, I'm trying.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
You know why I'm sober.
Joe Rubin
Oh, you gotta be up in like four hours, dude. So, you know.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Joe Rubin
Dispense with the chit chat and play the next song. Stop crying.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Okay. Okay then.
Joe Rubin
All right, let's go.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
So again, that was Jennifer Adams with Suicide is Painless from mash. And coming up next, we have a member who will actually be joining us in Florida, in Orlando, at the karaoke party. We put this post up in the group and a couple people said that they're going to try to make it out. And this is one of them. This is going to be Brian Kennedy, who's coming with his wife.
Joe Rubin
Oh, sweet.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
And he's going to be singing Little Wonders from Meet the Robinsons. Let's go.
Mike Whiston
All right. Let it go Let it roll right off your shoulder don't you know hardest part is over Let it in Let your clarity define you in the end we will only just remember how it feels Our lives are made these small hours these little wonders these twists and turns of fate Time falls away these small hours these little wonders still remain Let it slide Let your troubles fall behind you Let it shine until you feel it all around you and I don't mind if it's me you need to turn to we'll get by.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
It'S.
Mike Whiston
The heart that really matters in the end our lives are made these small hours these little wonders these twists and turns of fate Time falls away these small hours these little wonders all of my regret wash away somehow But I cannot forget the way I feel right now these small hours these little wonders these twists and turns of faith these twists and turns of faith Time falls away these small hours these small hours still remain yet yeah still remain these little wonders these twists and turns of fade Time falls away these small hours these little wonders still remain.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
And that's what we call every single one of the members of the Friday night karaoke community our little wonders.
Joe Rubin
Oh, that's so sweet. That was nice.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Kennedy with Little wonders from Meet the Robinsons.
Joe Rubin
Yes.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Meet the Robinsons.
Joe Rubin
I love that movie. Yeah, I love that movie. It's so good, dude. And like, like every Pixar movie, at the end of every Pixar movie, I'm like, damn you, Pixar. Why are you making me cry? Like, I cry at every single Pixar movie.
Mike Whiston
Movie.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
That's it. It was actually really, really good. And they, like, depicted the family in, like, such a perfect way, and then they all together at the end and.
Joe Rubin
Right.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
You know, being family guys, ourselves, you know, like, it's really relatable.
Joe Rubin
I know. I totally cried. And yeah, that song at the end there, it really brought it together for me. It did. I love the song. Brian crushed it. Love that. Nice job. Looking forward to seeing Brian this week in Orlando. How cool is that?
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Question is his. What songs are on his roster for the evening? Like, what's he going to be queuing up?
Joe Rubin
Something good, I hope.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Yeah. I mean, of course it's gonna be something.
Joe Rubin
I know.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Yeah. I've been having my own troubles. Like, I'm, like, going through my list and, you know, I'm sure anyone listening can actually relate to this. When you're going to live karaoke, of course, you have, like, tons of songs you love. Lots of songs you sing in the shower, some songs that you know that you can sing really, really well and that, like, people, like, when you go out to live karaoke, if it's, you know, something that you regularly frequent. But the biggest challenge is, you know, you probably only have, especially in a large event or in a big karaoke room or bar or whatever.
Joe Rubin
Yeah.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
You really only have, like, three, four songs for the entire night.
Joe Rubin
If you get to four, you're great. It's usually around, like, the two to three mark maximum, depending on how places. So if you get there early. Yeah, yeah.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Choose your next song.
Joe Rubin
Yeah, you got, like, I get, like, two songs up there on stage.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
I picked.
Joe Rubin
I plan for two if I'm going out to karaoke, you know.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Yeah. And then you have to, you know, take things into account, like, how many people have heard me sing this song or they're in this current room right now. Like, tons of other factors that come into play. And then picking the right song that gets everyone in, because there's nothing worse than getting up up there. And then, like, everyone's just, like, talking and, you know, drinking and like, you know, you're singing, you're like belting your. Your heart out and you're just not grabbing the room.
Joe Rubin
The other thing is, you know, when I do the recordings, when I. When I sing it on, like, smule and. And go to post it, I'm usually like four takes in, right? I do four because I listen to the first three and I'm like, oh, God, I missed the notes. I forgot the words. I screwed it up, right? Like, you get one shot when you're on stage, right? That's it. You better do it in one.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
How many shots did this take? Oh, by the way, this is going to be Joe Rubin and Dana Love. Belli Belly, Lena Lally. I did it again. Joe Rubin and Dana Lavelli with. You're the one that I Want from Greece. All right, how many take. How many takes did it take?
Joe Rubin
One.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Just one.
Joe Rubin
No, I'm just joking.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Here it is.
Mike Whiston
And I'm losing control. Cause the power you're supplying, it's electrifying. He better shake up. Cause I need a man and my heart is set on you. He better shape up. He better understand. To my heart I must be true. You're the one that I want, honey. The one that I want, honey. The one that I want. The one I need. Oh, yes indeed. If you're filled with affection, you're too shy to convey. Meditate in my direction. Feel your way. I better shape up. Because you need a man who can keep me satisfied. I better shape up. If I'm gonna prove that my faith is justified. You're the one that I want. I wanna be. I me. You're the one that I want, honey. You're the one that I want, honey. You're the one that I want.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
I got to tell you, you kept us satisfied. We left that truck stop with a ear to ear smile. Totally.
Joe Rubin
Totally. You know, I've done a bunch of duets like that. I think that was my most favorite one.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
You gave John Travolta a run for his money on that one. You rocked. And Dana Lavelli, ah, she always puts out such awesome stuff.
Joe Rubin
Ah, she's so good. Once she opened that. That duet there, and I was like, oh, she. Anytime you had a chance to sing with Dana.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Yeah.
Joe Rubin
Take it, you know. And that was. That was a fun one. Yeah. And man, did you see that? Those boyish good looks, those little smooth face. That dude on the left, it's under there somewhere.
Mike Whiston
I don't know.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
In Orlando. I'm gonna shave it. When you're sleeping Just like, half of it. Like, half your face. It's gonna be great.
Joe Rubin
Nice. I. I'd rock that the rest of the conference, you know.
Mike Whiston
Right.
Joe Rubin
Just half a beard.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
You see. You see, like, where they do that, they, like, you know, shave like, half of someone's face like that. And, like. And they put, like, the mirror. Like, it's like a mirror on both sides, and I put a mirror in the middle of their head, and it kind of looks like two different people.
Joe Rubin
Interesting.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Yeah.
Joe Rubin
Yeah, I'm not gonna do that. So that's a lot. It seems like a lot of work. I'm just.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
It's like, so much work, and it's like, you know, probably really annoying.
Joe Rubin
Like, yeah, I'm just gonna leave the beard. This is too much. But that was fun. I. I did enjoy that. That was minus. Maybe when I was totally pissed drunk with you and sang the pirate song.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
That was my favorite. We have to. We have to sing that song.
Joe Rubin
Yeah. Other than that, that was my. That was my actual favorite, like, real duet that I sang.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Yeah. So again, once again, that was our own Joe Rubin right here. And Dana Lavelli with. You're the one that I want from Greece. I love musicals. I love Broadway. I'm actually. While we're in Disney, as. As Take it for what it is, when we're. When we're down in Orlando on the 19th, you're going back home, and the other person from our company is going back home. Chase. And I am going to be in Disney solo all day long. And I booked myself a dinner and then a show, and the show. It's. Luckily the timing lined up, luckily for me. And the Broadway singers for, you know, the Broadway production of Frozen will be at Disney singing the songs from Frozen.
Joe Rubin
None of this is. None of this is weird at all to you at all.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
I'm so excited.
Joe Rubin
Okay.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
I'm gonna be the only, like, dude by himself who's 43. I'm gonna be like, let it go.
Mike Whiston
Let it.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
If I just. If. If I just need Josh Gad to show up and sing in summer, and my life will be complete. This is what you're dealing with.
Joe Rubin
I feel like I need to take a personal reflection of who I hang out with. Like, really look really, like, deep within me.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
That's what the truck stop bathrooms for.
Joe Rubin
You know, at first, I was joking about the truck stop bathroom. Now I'm not sure.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
The reflection. So with that said, we still have a few more to get through and less time to do it in. All right, so coming up, Next we have another. They're all longtime members. We keep going over that, but they're all longtime members. They're all phenomenal members. And this one is no different. This is going to be Cara rurup. You know, I know she used to post like a ton back in the day, and she still posts a decent amount now, I believe. But yeah, just I've joined a bunch of collaborations with her as well. Or duets with her as well. Really fun to sing with. She has this. This incredible Broadway type voice and like opera type voice in some cases. She's done like phantom of the opera and a ton, a ton of others. I think I did like les Mis, like master of the house with her and it was super, super fun and she really gets into character and she's dressed up before. Again, this is Kara Rurup and she'll be singing. This is a classic. We almost opened with this one. She's gonna be singing the. The theme song to cheers. Where everybody knows your name.
Joe Rubin
Nice.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Let's give it a listen. Making your way in the world to tay Taylor.
Mike Whiston
Everything you got?
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Taking a break from all your worries?
Mike Whiston
Sure would help a lot? Wouldn't you like to get away? Sometimes you want to go? Where everybody knows your name? And they're always glad you came? You want to be where you can see? Our troubles are all the same? You want to be where everybody knows your name? You want to go where people know? People are all the same? You want to go where everybody knows your name?
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Roll out of bed Mr. Coffee's dead?
Mike Whiston
The morning's looking bright? And your shrink ran off to europe and didn't even write? And your husband wants to be a girl? Be glad there's one place in the world? Where everybody knows your name? And they're always glad you uk you want to go where people know? People are all the same? You want to go where everybody knows your name? You want to go where people know? People are all the same? You want to go where everybody knows your name?
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
I mean, that's all I ever wanted to go where everybody knows my name. And that's why I love going to the local pub because they all might know my name.
Joe Rubin
Nice. Do you walk into. They all go norm when you walk in?
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
No.
Joe Rubin
Oh, that would be cool.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
They go because it's in Japan.
Joe Rubin
Nice.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Actually, mine's called 40 ounce. That's my local and it's awesome. And there's like a 76 year old dude named papa. Everyone calls him papa. His name's not papa, but everyone calls him papa. And Everyone calls his wife mama, and she makes the best chicken wings in Japan. It tastes just like back home in Connecticut. And they're phenomenal. And I love that place. And let me tell you, that whole feeling you get from, you know, listening to that song, you know, the Cheers theme song there. And, you know, just the whole idea behind, like, going to your local pub and just feeling at home.
Mike Whiston
Right.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
I know exactly what that's like.
Mike Whiston
Yeah.
Joe Rubin
No, that was really good. I haven't heard that song in a little bit. I'm glad that Kara signed that one. That was good. She did a great job too.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Kara rocked it. Yeah, absolutely. Was that a real lyric from back in the day, like, your husband wants to be a girl? I heard that. Yeah. That was one of the lyrics that she said, like, when your. Your husband wants to be a girl or something. Like, I heard that. I 100 heard that. I'm like. Like, maybe do a double take. I'm like that. Did they sing that back? Is that, like, a new season ad libbed that one?
Mike Whiston
I don't.
Joe Rubin
I don't know. Because I really don't know. I'll have to listen to it on.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
The replay Now I want to go look it up. Now I want to know, because now, regardless, it's interesting now, because now I want to go find out. Inquiring minds want to know. So once again, Kara, row up where everybody knows your name. We all know your name. Cara, you're awesome. Keep singing the theme song from Cheers. So that song was almost scrapped for a different project, and then it eventually found its home here. So they actually didn't write that song for Cheers. It just kind of fit the theme for the show, and they decided to use it.
Joe Rubin
Nice.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
I'm glad they did.
Joe Rubin
Yeah, I'm glad they didn't go with the MASH theme song.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
I mean, they could have gone with a Ninja Turtle theme song. That could have been kind of cool.
Joe Rubin
Gotta drink them all right.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Oh, my God. Yes. That's what we should do. Oh, you know what? We should do a parody week for Friday night karaoke, but it should be theme parodies.
Joe Rubin
Theme parodies.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Theme parodies. It should be like.
Joe Rubin
You're gonna have to come up with some examples, dude.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Yeah, it would be difficult. You need to use, like, AI or something. It's gonna be really challenging. Yeah. Otherwise. But that would be really fun to be the listener on that week for sure. If you are watching the video right now in the Friday night karaoke Facebook group. And again, if you're not a member, just go to the group, type in Friday or type Facebook. Type in Friday night karaoke. There's three questions. Answer them and you are in, baby. Just answer the questions. If you don't answer the questions, you get denied. We just want to make sure you're real. So just how many people we got.
Joe Rubin
Now, by the way?
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
30. 36.
Mike Whiston
36.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
I'm learning numbers. Thousand members.
Joe Rubin
Nice. 36, 000 members. That's freaking awesome, dude. There's like hundreds of songs get posted every day. It's fantastic. Just tons of talent too. It's not just songs. Like, there's so many talented people on FnK. I love it.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
I remember back when we had like, literally only had like a handful. I remember like when Eric Dabrowski was there and Asthma Bully Jones and like you and me and a handful of others. And it was, yeah, a couple of us posting a bunch of songs and commenting and liking all of the. Literally everything in the entire group. And it was. There were fun times but like led to this. This awesome phenomenon that is Friday night karaoke. And I'm.
Joe Rubin
It's pretty awesome.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Blessed to be part of heck yeah. Yeah. Rock. So coming up next, we have another one of the co founders. I wonder which one. Which one? Another one of the co founders. This was a while back, but attempting the opening theme to the Super Mario Brothers super show. Give it a listen. Hey paisanos.
Mike Whiston
It's the Super Mario Brothers super show.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
We're the Mario brothers and plumin's a game. We're not like the others who get all the fame. If your sink is in trouble you can call us on the double. We're faster than the others. You'll be hooked on the brothers. Hooked on the brothers.
Mike Whiston
Kicky kicky, kicky yicky.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
So ya for a treat. So hang on to the seat. Get ready for adventure and remarkable feats. You'll meet Cooper, the troopers, the princess and the others hanging with the brothers. You'll be hooked on the brothers to the bridge. I miss those days. You know what you can actually put like at the time frame by the microphone being used or the headset being used because it's progressed over time. Now, of course, we're using sure. Microphones. Sure. I'd like to thank you for sponsoring the Friday night karaoke podcast with these beautiful MK7s.
Joe Rubin
They are beautiful. Mine is to the left here because I up the wiring in the back there.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
But. But thank you.
Joe Rubin
I'll get that fixed one day.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
A little bit up. That's why we're here, right?
Joe Rubin
Yeah, exactly. Exactly. That was back in a long. That's back when you used to skate. I noticed.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
I. Yeah, you know, I actually went skateboarding today. You know, my.
Mike Whiston
Really.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
For anyone that doesn't know, I have two kids, 11 and 6. 11 year old girl, 6 year old boy, and they both love skateboarding. And my, my six year old son has been skateboarding like every day recently. Just, he's like, just wants to get out and do it. And he asked me today, he's like, dad, can you take me out? And I want to show you some cool stuff and I want to see what you could do. And I'm like, you want to see.
Mike Whiston
What I can do? Yeah.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Yeah, let's go.
Mike Whiston
I want to show you what I could do.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
And then, you know, I didn't break my Achilles.
Joe Rubin
Can I just ask from a, from a, I don't know, from a responsible adult angle here. Did you think it was wise just a few months after you took a boot off and you could still just barely walk five hours before you're about to take an international flight to a conference to get on the skateboard for the first time and show off to your kids?
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
My wife said exactly the same thing.
Mike Whiston
All right.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Like, she's like, I'm gonna have to take you to the hospital and you're gonna go to Orlando again in a boot.
Joe Rubin
Honestly, I, that would have. Nothing would have made me happier to see you show up with a boot again.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
No, you, you have to worry because we're going to be playing golf on the 15th and I play better in a boot. I don't know.
Joe Rubin
He played better, but I still suck.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Yeah.
Joe Rubin
When you start from like down where you were like, I mean, you know, it wasn't so bad.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Look.
Joe Rubin
And we got, we got chasing the boot too now, which is nice. So I think it's both of you guys.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
I think his knees just, you know.
Joe Rubin
He'S wearing some sort of, some sort.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Of wrong side of his metal.
Joe Rubin
Metal exoskeleton.
Mike Whiston
Right.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
I don't know. They made him better, faster, stronger. They had the technology. Someone should do that as the theme. They should just get on here and their song is like.
Joe Rubin
What'S that? Six Million Dollar Man.
Mike Whiston
Yeah.
Joe Rubin
Actually, with inflation, it's like $60 million now. Yeah.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Seriously, what's the Six Million Dollar man worth right now? We're gonna listen to another song and then I'm going to check ttp, that's. And find out exactly what that Million Dollar man is worth today.
Mike Whiston
All right.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
What that would be, what that would cost Today. So, you know, that last one again was myself, Mike Whiston with the opening theme to this.
Joe Rubin
Nice job, buddy.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
By the way.
Joe Rubin
I didn't even get to say that. Nice job. It's all good. That was fun. I missed that show. I love that show, by the way.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
You know, my favorite thing about the show was it was a. It was a twofer. So they always had that. And then immediately afterwards would be the Legend of Zelda. And that's what it's called. The Legend of Zelda or the Adventures of the. Of. No, no, I think it was Links. The Adventures of Link, maybe. I don't remember.
Joe Rubin
Possibly.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
I don't remember the name. It's been the Legend of Zelda or the Adventures of Link, something like that. But it was like this, like, anime, ish version of Zelda, and it was just freaking awesome. And it was actually. I watched it with my kids not that long ago, like a couple months ago. Again, just to get a little blast of nostalgia. And it didn't hold up very, very often. Like, you'll watch them all these years later. You're like, oh, my God, I liked it. I like that. Like Gummy Bears, for instance, was amazing. And I watched, like. What did I watch that I hated? There's been a bunch.
Joe Rubin
So did this not hold up?
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
No, it definitely held up. It was great.
Mike Whiston
Okay.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
It was. It was awesome. It's. And if you were a person who played those old Nintendo games.
Mike Whiston
Yeah.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
And like, you actually loved it and you love that music and all that kind of stuff.
Mike Whiston
Stuff.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
You know. You know. Yeah. Anyway, nice. So coming up next, another great member of the Friday night karaoke community. I recently did a duet with him that he totally carried me on a little Nirvana. And it was so good. Like, the dude is massively talented. He sings a little bit of everything. One of my favorite things he's ever sung was the Phantom of the Opera and just absolutely rocked that song. And. But he's done so many across all kinds of genres. He does really well with, like, a lot of rock and, you know, stuff like that. And this is going to be a little different. It's going to be Paul Bright with One Life to Live from the show, or no movie show from the show. One Life to Live.
Joe Rubin
Nice.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
I've never actually seen it before, but anyway, here it is.
Mike Whiston
Here's what you do when you don't find the rainbows in this time here's where you go when it looks like the rain won't end don't cry there's always tomorrow where you can have a second chance and after for tomorrow all that you have to remember Is what you do when you think nobody cares for you look in my eye and see there's an answer there it's true we'll find tomorrow a place for us I know. Because time only know how long forever's gonna last and we don't even need to ask let's live today and find someone to share it with. Cause we only have one life to live.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
I mean, if we have one life to live. I love that I'm living it and listening to this music because it was awesome.
Joe Rubin
That was good. I. I actually, I. I don't think I've seen that song, that. That show, or heard anything from that show in decades. Like, way to pick one out of the hat there. That was. That was good.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
But, like, I saw the. The little thing for Smule come up on the. You know, it said One Life to Live, right? And I've never seen that. I've never actually even heard of One Life to Live before. And Paul's post on Facebook, when he posted the song up, mentioned something about, like, you know, this blast from the past or whatever. And, you know, if you remember this one, you're gonna be pulling out your. Your puddin pops or something. He put, like, in the. In there. And my head immediately went to Bill Cosby with, like, the pudding bops. And I was like, did Bill Cosby sing Is this the Cosby Show? I don't remember. I went looking, like. And then I was, like, typing in, like, One Life to Live, Cosby Show. And it's like, everything coming up was, like, One Life to Live from One Life to Live. I'm like, that can't be it. That's too obvious. I'm, like, trying, like, where's Cosby?
Joe Rubin
Oh, man. You know what? You know what we have? I'm kind of disappointed about. No one did the Golden Girls theme.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Yeah. Someone did something, and I can't remember what the hell it was, and I read it wrong, and I thought it was the Golden Girls, and it was something completely different. Oh, Gilmore Girls.
Joe Rubin
Oh.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
I was all excited. So, like, I saw the theme. I'm like, yes, and I'm gonna play it. And I'm like, they up. Oh, man. Girls.
Joe Rubin
Dorothy would not approve.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
No, it was the Gilmore Girls. So whatever. It's all good.
Joe Rubin
Oh, man. Next time I have a request, next time we do themes, someone's got to post the Golden Girls theme.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
You have to. I mean, like, it's. It's not Just classic. It's like a part of our souls.
Mike Whiston
It is. It is.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
It's one of those things. It's just like the. The soundtrack to our lives.
Mike Whiston
Right.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Well, does the days to our lives have a theme song?
Mike Whiston
Probably.
Joe Rubin
I didn't want to watch that show.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Yeah, I didn't watch either.
Joe Rubin
I think my mom watched it.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Have a theme song?
Joe Rubin
Probably. Yeah. Yeah, definitely.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Nphs. Oh, man. I. I can think of some good stuff there, too. Anyway, thank you. Paul Bright singing One Life to Live from One night to Live. And we're at that time of the podcast, the really last one time where we are the last song. All right, almost over. Do it.
Joe Rubin
Let's hear it.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
It's been a nice little run.
Joe Rubin
It has been.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
It has been a good run here. Yeah, it has been. You know, I do love these theme weeks, you know, all the theme weeks in general, but the theme weeks about themes are, you know, a little extra special.
Joe Rubin
The theme this week is themes.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Oh, my God. Oh, my God. He's so meta. So coming up last, it's gonna be a little Jeff Madasuki, or as he likes to be known in the Facebook community, Maestro Madasuki.
Mike Whiston
All right.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
And I absolutely freaking love this song. It's from Forgetting Sarah Marshall, and it's going to be Jason Siegel singing Dracula's lament. All right, give it a listen. This is from the movie Forgetting Sarah Marshall.
Mike Whiston
It's getting kind of hard to believe things are going to get better.
Joe Rubin
I've.
Mike Whiston
Been drowning too long to believe the tide's going to turn and I've been living too hard to believe things are going to get easier now I'm still trying to shake off the pain from the lessons I've learned and if I see Van Helsing, I swear to the Lord I will say slay him. Take it from me I swear I won't let it be so Blood will run down his face when he is decapitated his head on my mantle Is how I will let this world know how much I love you Die, die, die. I can't.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
I love that song. I want to. I want to sing it so bad now. I want to try it so badly. But Jeff absolutely rocked it. I love that. He had the piano thing going at the end. He had the voices going, and, you know, he just.
Mike Whiston
He.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
He really.
Joe Rubin
That was really good.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
It was really good.
Joe Rubin
It was such a goofy song in the movie, and I'm like. Like I was. I was like, what the am I listening to? And. But you know what? It was made that it made the movie, I think.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
You know, I agree, I agree.
Joe Rubin
Actually, the other song, the. The Russell Brand song, I think made the movie, now that I think back. But that one was. That one was, like, very close second. Know what? Jeff crushed it.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Yeah. Yeah, absolutely. And what a perfect way to end the.
Joe Rubin
Yes.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
FNK themes. Theme of the week and theme of the podcast. Ah, what. What. What a. So much talent in this group. So much talent in this lineup. It was super fun to listen to. It's like almost 1am for me. And you can, you know, you get to that point where, you know.
Joe Rubin
Yeah.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Everything in your brain stops.
Mike Whiston
You know what?
Joe Rubin
You're. You're. You're over the hump, man. You may as well just stay awake and just go directly onto the flight.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Yeah.
Joe Rubin
Start drinking now. Get a cab to take you to the flight and just pass it on the plane. I love for 13 hours.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
This is a brilliant idea. So at this time of every podcast, we usually go through and pick a new theme and.
Joe Rubin
Oh, that's right. What are we doing?
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
So I think we should either both pick a theme and then kind of rumble back and forth, or if you have something queued up, I would love to hear it.
Joe Rubin
I don't have anything, actually, at all. I'll think of one on the spot, though, if you've got one. Do you have one queued up? You have one that we can argue about?
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Sure, I'm gonna make one. I. I don't have one queued up. I'm gonna make one up on the spot.
Joe Rubin
I'm gonna make one up on the spot, too. I got one.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
So I'm gonna go and just make this nice and simple. We haven't done this in a. In a quick stint, and I. I rather enjoy it. We haven't done a punk week in forever or more. Actually, more importantly, we haven't done a. A UK week in a while. So, like, I'm. I'm saying let's bring back British Invasion.
Joe Rubin
Okay.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
I think. Hey, British Invasion. Singing songs with artists or singers or groups or whatever that are originally from the uk.
Joe Rubin
Okay. Because it's not really punk week, but I'll. I'll call it. I'll go with British Invasion.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
That wouldn't be punk. That wouldn't be fun.
Joe Rubin
Yeah.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Be British Invasion week.
Joe Rubin
I'm like, British punk. You're really narrowing it down.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
You could do the Beatles. You could do the Sex Pistols.
Mike Whiston
All right.
Joe Rubin
Anything.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
Anyone? English, from England?
Joe Rubin
Okay. Love it. I'm in. I'm not gonna even argue because it's One amas. Yeah, we're gonna go with British Invasion.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
All right, done. British Invasion week coming up next. All right, so that's it. That's it.
Mike Whiston
That's it.
Co-host (possibly Dana Lavelli or another co-founder)
That's what you get from me this week. And thanks for sticking with us through the end. You know, I got. I gotta say, you know, we've. We're on every major podcasting platform anywhere that you could listen to us. You know, we're on Apple podcast, iHeartRadio, we're on Spotify, Castbox, Google Podcasts, Amazon. Yeah, literally anywhere that you listen to podcasts. And all of you amazing listeners, I believe we get somewhere between like, 30 to 40,000 people listening every single time we put out an episode. And you all keep us going here. And we also want to give you a huge thank you for listening, by the way.
Joe Rubin
I just checked. I just checked the charts with the number six music podcast in America right now.
Mike Whiston
