The following podcast is a Dear Media production. Oh, I have a fiance too.
B
I don't know how I feel.
A
Oh hello.
B
I'm having scary, but it's also corny and performative.
A
That's my truth. Oh, that's my doctor.
B
And it got me thinking.
A
Do you have an appointment?
B
Because it's very difficult.
A
That was weird. I shouldn't have done that.
B
What's up you guys? Welcome back to Gals on the Go podcast. I'm Danielle.
A
I'm Brooke. Happy Wednesday.
B
Happy Wednesday. Hope you're all having a fabulous day. And if you like sports. Go Nicks.
A
Hey, let's go. Next. I feel like it's like a commute. Like I mean we're in New York obviously. So biased. But it feels as though like they are the underdog. Right? Cause they haven't won.
B
Yeah.
A
Every. We're all rooting for the Knicks, except so fun. That little cluster of Texas, right?
B
Like a little cluster of Spurs. I. I feel bad though. It's actually so crazy you guys. Like where our studio is is right near MSG and it's just, it's buzzing. Like it's so fun. We're actually doing an evening recording which we never do. This is just fun.
A
Yeah, it is. I. I wouldn't have Come over here. If it wasn't for this. So at least I'm. I'm glad I got to see it.
B
It's really fun. Like, it feels like it's so different, but like, we're back in Athens. It's like a college town in the sense of a game day.
A
Very communal in that way. Yeah. Where the city runs around the game. Like, we haven't, like, had something like this, like, in my lifetime as far as, like, well, the Giants when I was like, in middle school.
B
Okay.
A
But I feel football's different than basketball.
B
Football's different. Well, and like, like the basketball, it's here. Plays here in the city. Like, that's so fun. And I. I can't wait for the day, hopefully that either the jets or Giants go far, because that would just be so fun to be a new artist.
A
When it's nice to have a winning team.
B
I mean, it's nice.
A
Georgia, when they win. It's really great.
B
Yeah. Welcome to our live. It's fun to have a winning team. Yeah, I know. I texted Brooke. I was like, is it okay if I wear my next hat? Because I was gonna put it on after. And then I thought, I want to be a part of something on my walk here.
A
Yeah.
B
Suddenly I see.
A
Suddenly. Did people stop you? Ego, Nick. Did you get a lot of that?
B
Yes. And I said to myself, because remember that time you said go dogs to the person who forgot they were wearing dogs?
A
Yeah.
B
I didn't want someone to say go next to me. And I forget that I have a hat. Danielle, you're wearing a hat.
A
Did you point at people or they pointed at you?
B
No, I didn't point.
A
Yeah, not point, but like, this one
B
girl and I kind of like smiled at each other cuz she had a Nick. No, we. I, like, we both saw each other's like, it was like closer to where I live, so there wasn't many Nick.
A
A little smirk.
B
Yeah, just, you know, the smirk.
A
I see you.
B
I see you. That's like Brooke and I's favorite emoji to send back and forth.
A
Such a good emoji. It's like it just has so much like underneath it, like, you know, silly. When you want to say something like snarky, I feel like, yeah, use that emoji. Like.
B
Hey, hey.
A
I'm think I've been thinking something.
B
You know what it is? The smirk emoji is the equivalent of our, like, little voice we do. It is like.
A
You're so right. Yeah, it is.
B
You know what? I made Ryan do the Other night is the just, like, not film. We just did the.
A
Wow.
B
Okay. Trend, like, together.
A
Oh, just. Just acting. No, just improv. Yeah.
B
Just for fun. How did he highly suggest. Oh, my God, it was so funny.
A
Really?
B
Like, it was just so. I. Like, I got on video, but I was like, that's. I won't make you do that. But that's not fair.
A
I feel like you would do. Ryan's, like, down, though, right? Like, is he.
B
Yeah. I don't know. But I feel. I don't know. I. That's where I draw. Drew the line.
A
But if you're like, hey, we're doing this acting challenge, like, would he be like, that's weird. Or, like, would he be like, okay, like, because when. When you ask him to be in videos, like, I feel like he's pretty down.
B
Yeah. Like. Like, like, you know, or like a sound. Yeah, sometimes. It depends. It depends on his mood. Like, sometimes he literally is like, please don't put me on camera right now.
A
Yeah.
B
Thank you.
A
No, but that's real. Like, that's so real. Real. So never wants to be on camera. So, like, that's my truth. Like, and that's okay.
B
It's so normal.
A
Think about him. I do think about. He's like, I'm gonna. Like, I'm gonna be someone's doctor.
B
Yep.
A
But it's kind of fun.
B
Yeah, you can't have that.
A
Like, and we're, like, doing, like, a transition, like, in a dip or something. Like, no, that's my doctor. Like, yeah, nothing wrong with it. I know plenty of people that do. But, like, I understand, like, professional image and stuff.
B
Like, surprise. Oh, Gave me a vaccination the other day. That's really funny.
A
Yeah. I see it from all sides, you know, Like, I've. I mean, obviously we have a very large digital footprint, so I don't really care.
B
But, you know, they might say, is that his wife? You know, can't really control that. But.
A
No, of course not. Speaking of which, I went to a
B
wedding this weekend, and you're wearing white.
A
I know. I know.
B
I'm wearing white.
A
No, you're allowed. You're allowed. Oh, you got me a beautiful gift. Shy. Open an hour later.
B
Yeah. Well, do we open up the show with it? We want to tell your story. Well, let me just tell your story
A
that goes into it. I mean, it's not so much of a story, just a conversation. When you're like a wedding stand, like, meeting people for the first time.
B
Yeah.
A
Like, you know, and you want to, like, present, like, buttoned up, like, you know, you're like, oh, hello. Like, this is me and my. My fiance now. It was actually really funny. Ben saw, like, someone from high school that he, like, hasn't seen in a while, and he was like, hey, this is my fiance, Brooke. And he. And the other guy's like, hey, this is my fiance. Blah, blah. And I was like, wow, why do I feel like this is a competition now? Yeah, I have a fiance, too.
B
Yeah. Oh, I got one of those right here. Oh, my God, that is so true.
A
Not actually, but we're just literally in that age. Like, that's literally the age where. That's why I'm going to so many weddings and stuff.
B
Yeah.
A
Literally, like, late 20, 30, you know. Who was I saying? Oh. So I'm, like, meeting all these people for the first time and stuff, and they are. You know, the job conversation comes up, and, like, you know, everybody just has such, like, serious, like, really important jobs, and it comes around to me, and I feel like a clown every time. Like, I really do. And I love my job. I. I literally say a blessing every morning. Like, I'm like, thank a prayer. Like, literally, I'm like, thank you, another day. But when you explain it, like, in the context of a ton of, like, professional, like, you know, I'm a.
B
No, it's. I'm an editor.
A
I'm like, you know, I'm a political writer. I'm, like, really, like, serious. Not serious, but, like, important jobs, I guess.
B
Important.
A
You know, Ben's not helping me much. He's like, I'm. I'm a physician.
B
You know, I'm like, throw me a.
A
I'm like, okay, all right.
B
No, I. Yep. It's like, what do you do?
A
What do you say?
B
It happened to me recently when I went to Ryan's, like, work event. They were all just talking about, oh, I do this, I do that, and the office. I'm like, what do you do? Oh, I just say I do social media. Actually have a podcast with my best friend.
A
Podcast. Good. I say that, too. Yeah. And then they're the.
B
And then they're like, wow, what's it called?
A
Go. Oh, yeah. What's the point of it? You know? Yeah, it's really unserious, you know, but
B
I feel like it's impressive when you're like, I have a podcast, and that's what I do. Yeah. Like, okay, so it's like, you know,
A
it's always respected is the thing.
B
It's always.
A
I feel, when I say it aloud, I'm like, an imperfect like an imposter. Like, I'm like, oh, my gosh. Like, I. Yeah, I don't have a real job, but I'm like, no, it is a real job.
B
Not ask me. Like, I'll sometimes try to avoid it. I keep asking them questions entirely, and
A
then someone at the table will bring it up. Like, it was this one guy. He was like, I actually wanted to talk to you, Brooke, about, you know. And I was like, you almost got out scot free. Like, there's a table full of people. They're all like, well, what? What?
B
You know? Well, now that we all know.
A
Now that we all know. No, and it's not like, a big secret. Like, I don't know.
B
Of course not.
A
And I, like, I'm proud of it. I would rather present that way than, like, be like, genuinely like, no, I do nothing all day and I'm unemployed, You know? Like, I'm like, no, I'm so proud of what we built.
B
And, like, it's just. It's a big combo. It's. Then you kind of feel like it's all about you.
A
Oh, I'm the main character.
B
Yeah.
A
100%.
B
God. Do you know this person?
A
I know. I know. And then I feel like I need to share the same enthusiasm for their job. And, like, they'll be like, you know, like, something that I know nothing about. Like, digging, like, finance terms. I'm like, like, oh, yeah.
B
How did. How did that go with the market change? Like, how'd that. For your company? Yeah, they just got. They merged. Like, I'm.
A
I'm pulling out to try to be polite and, like, make conversation and stuff. Because, you know, especially the people that you probably are gonna have one conversation with the entire wedding. Like, I'm like, I gotta leave a good imp, at least. Like, I don't want to be. Like, I met one social media person. She sucked. Like, I have to, you know, True.
B
For all of us. Yes. Thank you, Brooke.
A
I'm doing the work.
B
That's really funny. Wow. Another wedding as engaging.
A
Just another wedding.
B
When's your next one?
A
Bridget's wedding will be the next one. But you have a few before that, right? Don't.
B
No. You keep saying that. Actually. Well, technically, I've got one.
A
Yeah.
B
Right now this weekend, so.
A
Wow.
B
Yeah.
A
Yeah.
B
But it's like. Yeah, more cash. It's more of just like a reception, but other. Yeah. No, I don't think so. Oh. Oh, I see what you're saying. No, the next one is after Bridget's.
A
Yeah.
B
So.
A
Yeah, me too. I have A few more. I had a lot of, like, spring this year, but I feel like most common wedding season is some, like. It seems like really. I guess those are the dates that get booked first, at least.
B
Yeah.
A
For me, I like a spring or fall because it's a little cooler, like.
B
Yeah.
A
You know, definitely. I saw, like, I see some of these, like, people that are in the bridal party, like, standing up there, like, in the direct sun. I'm like, oh, my God. I'm pretty praying for these people. I literally would lock my knees and go down. Like, I mean, I did in middle school courses. I literally locked my knees. I went boom. On the. On the risers in front of everybody. I don't know how I didn't hit my head. That's amazing.
B
No, I'm really glad a lot of people are starting to do, like, you don't stand up there with them. I'm letting you know now. I. For my wedding. I haven't decided, though.
A
That's okay.
B
Just letting you know because. Because if I do, like, the ceremony will be short. I just, like, haven't decided.
A
You want, like, your girls, like.
B
Yeah. And also back to 27 dresses. I think it, like, I always just envisioned the squad, your squadron with you. So I'm just letting you know. So just get those knees ready.
A
Okay.
B
But I haven't decided.
A
They're preparing. I have been training. I'm personal training. Like, seriously.
B
Yes, you have been training. We didn't talk about it last week.
A
No, we didn't. I.
B
How are you enjoying it?
A
The thing is, like, do I enjoy it? Like, no, but I feel so good afterwards. And I love her.
B
Yeah. And you learn a lot.
A
I'm learning a lot. I don't think I'll ever like the activities that I'm like, I. Will I ever like a squat jump with the swinging of the thing? Like, no. Like, I don't find joy in that. Personally.
B
Yeah.
A
I'm so jealous if you do, like.
B
Yeah, I really, so, really, so jealous.
A
But I feel like, really sore the next day, which is really satisfying. I feel like I'm working. Like, we did like a back day. I'm like, I literally don't think I've ever worked out these muscles in my life.
B
Yeah. Me, probably not. I mean, if you're dedicated, at least those machines and stuff. Like, I definitely hadn't before I worked with trainers.
A
Like, yeah.
B
At all. But you learned so much. Like, has you taught you, like, the breathing and stuff it all, like when debris.
A
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yes, yes. Like doing the Breath and the P. Like how you're supposed to have tension on it like the whole time. Like. Yeah, it like pulls out like so, like. Yes. Like. Oh, sorry, my mic. Are we still good? Okay, perfect.
B
Got two into it.
A
No, she's amazing. I feel like it's all about the vibe of the per. Like connecting and stuff. And I, I was really intimidated. I think that's what it was like. I was like, oh my gosh. I don't want to work with like someone that's like so serious. And she definitely is serious. And it's very hard.
B
Serious, you said?
A
Yeah, she's amazing. McKenna. Deal. She's literally. I feel like she's training with everybody these right now.
B
Well, yeah, I, I go to Equinox and I was signing up an Equinox class.
A
She teaches at Equinox. She does everything. Yes.
B
Oh, shook. I actually didn't end up going to that one, but. So it's her.
A
Yeah, no, she literally, it's everything.
B
Does she fuse house too?
A
Yeah, no. She must teach five classes plus personal training.
B
Plus personal. She's amazing.
A
She's a machine. And then she'll like run. She'll be like, yeah, like, she's like, no, I don't run like half marathons or anything. But then like, we'll run like seven miles and like do like a seven minute mile, like, you know, so she's a. Yeah. So I'm like, wow, you really do it all. She's. I like that though. I like a. Well, that's like, my goal is like, yes. Athlete. Yeah. I mean, it's hard. I was expecting. I went into the first one because I've like lifted weights with them before.
B
Yeah.
A
You know, and I like sweat a little bit, but, you know, you take a lot of breaks.
B
Yeah.
A
Do you lift? You wait for the other person to go And I literally. She told me the circuit and I was like, oh, shit. I like, we're really working out. Like.
B
Yeah.
A
There was like one exercise. She's like. And then we'll do this one to like get your heart rate up. But like, my heart rate was already up.
B
Yeah. Like, I don't need to warm up. Like, I'm warm now.
A
Yeah. Like, it was in the rotation. Was like. And after these lifts, like, we'll do like some sort of like, you know, aerobic, whatever. And I'm like, I. I think my heart rate's already good.
B
I think we're good. You want to check my apple watch? Yeah.
A
But I get it though. It's like kind of like Hit vibes.
B
Yeah.
A
Like, when. But I think we're just going to do a mix of things. I don't know. I don't really know. I just.
B
Act for your wedding, man.
A
Strong.
B
Yeah.
A
Yeah. No, it's definitely really helpful, too, because I would not know how to do any of these things.
B
Yeah. And then when you're, like, traveling or at a hotel gym, you're not, like, as intimidated.
A
Yeah.
B
Even though, like, I do. I literally do not get excited to. I don't just go to a gym and, like, do things ever. Unless, like, Ryan, it's hard. Like, that's not fun. It's fun when you're with a trainer or if you're with someone else or in a class, obviously, that's why.
A
Yeah.
B
You know.
A
Yeah. No, I can't. I think about her, like, fitness regimen, and I'm like, wow, that is so crazy that, like, imagine fitness truly being your whole life. Like, you have to be so passionate about it. I feel like. Because I feel like you would burn out if not.
B
Right. You literally have to be so obsessed.
A
Yeah.
B
And on top of it, like, she's not really working out with you, at least in personal training.
A
No, but in the class she is.
B
Yeah, true. In the class, but.
A
Yeah. But then she does her own. I mean, like, you're just. I feel like you're just a machine. Whenever I, like, don't want to, like, work out for a day. I'm like, my trainer's probably done eight workouts today.
B
Like, really working out right now. That's a good way to think about it.
A
I know. I'm like, we have the same hours in the day as my personal trainer.
B
Forget Beyonce.
A
Yeah.
B
Your trainer. Yeah. Wait, back to the wedding convo. I have seen this conversation going around the Internet. My friend brought it up as well, and it got me thinking. And now I'm having scaries. When you go to a wedding, is it. Do you think, or how do I word this? Do you think if you post, like, a photo dump from a wedding that you need to include the bride and the groom in it?
A
I don't think so. I mean, I don't.
B
I don't. Because what if they haven't posted yet?
A
I. I agree. I think that. But also sometimes, like, I mean, in this case, like, I was Ben's plus one. Like, I. I mean, I know them, but, like, they're. They're Ben's friends. Like, transparently. Like, I met them at the wedding.
B
Like, you know, congrats.
A
Like, I had maybe five minutes of FaceTime with them. Like, it would be odd of me to be like, you know. Yeah, I would feel odd doing that. Not that it's right or wrong, but that's just my personal.
B
Yeah, I think it depends. Like, I don't think I have gotten a photo. Like, it's hard to get a photo with them, obviously. And if you do, usually it's on like the photographer's camera. You'll get like three months later and
A
I can't stand that. Can we talk about that? Like, I know that that's like the typical. The way it goes, but I feel like by the time you get the photos, you're like, I don't look like this anymore. And like, it's over.
B
Maybe it's something to note for your wedding. Like the photographer that's like doing the friend photos. Like, get it out.
A
No, I would like it a. I feel like I can't use like a traditional wedding photographer just due to the nature of the quick turn. Right.
B
Yeah, they're like booking, you know, it's definitely like, different. And I'm sure there's you. I think you can pay like, expedited fees. Oh, of course, stuff like that. But no, it's definitely like a conversation. Okay. That made me feel better because.
A
But I guess it depends how close you are with them. Like Mariah's wedding. I feel like I did post a picture with her, I guess, on her wedding day.
B
You guys have heard us talk about skims and we're always going to talk about skims because they are constantly changing the game with their intimates. Like, I do not like to wear bras or I haven't historically in the past. However, these bras that we have from skims and the underwear, they're just so comfortable. Like the underwear from skims, it's all I wear because they don't move.
A
I. I'm slowly transforming my drawers to be everything skims, honestly. Like my T shirts, every, like, truly everything. I feel like they have the perfect things that you wear, like inside, you know that.
B
Yeah.
A
Seen or that are seen.
B
Yes, yes. They have a really cute, like loungewear, but then they've also got stuff underneath. Just like Brooke was saying, their fabric, you guys, they have the stretchiest underwear fabric. And then they also have the cutest push up bra. And I actually recently experimented with it recently. And it, it does do what it says. It looked so good with like a little tank. Yeah, it felt very feminine.
A
Yeah, no, it's giving, like model, like, you know, you're like, oh, okay. Like, I Have curves.
B
Like, yeah, it's a whole vibe. And they have this new cotton fabric that is amazing. Like, I think we literally talked about on the podcast just how everyone's talking about cotton recently. Everything's coming up cotton and skims. If you are into cotton, they've got the cotton underwear, they've got the cotton pajamas. Like, they have everything cotton for you.
A
Yeah, I feel like people are talking about cotton underwear a lot too. Like, I don't know why. Like, that's just like a whole thing right now. And I get it because I've switched and I use the skims cotton underwear. I have the everyday cotton thong and I feel like they just get it. It's extremely comfortable. Like, I don't really have to worry about, like, lines and stuff. I just feel like it's. It's working for me. It's doing its thing.
B
It's working for us. So shop everyday cotton and all of our favorite bras and underwear@sea skims.com. after you place your order, be sure to let them know that we sent you select podcast and survey. And be sure to select our show in the drop down menu that follows. I'm sure a lot of you can relate, but there's just something about getting ready for a night out with the gals that's almost more fun than the actual night out. I mean, we all know I love to throw on some Drake, take my time doing my hair and makeup, and enjoy that. Oh, my gosh, that perfect pregame drink.
A
Yes. I feel like the perfect pregame truly sets the tone for the night. And what better way to set the tone than with Malibu Pink. It's truly the best summer get ready with me drink. It's vibrant, it's bold, it's got fun new fruity flavors of guava, pineapple, and coconut.

But if you're not one for shots, it also pairs perfectly with a lemonade for a cute and easy cocktail moment. I feel like I would do the shot. You would do, like, the cocktail?
A
Yeah, I'm definitely gonna be sipping it as a mixed drink, but while I get ready. Also, it's like this gorgeous, vibrant pink color. Can we talk about it? You guys know that's my favorite color. Scream summer.
B
And with rooftop season here, you guys, I know. You know, we all know Brooke really wants me to throw a rooftop party at my apartment. Call back to A few episodes ago. Malibu Pink will be there as my get ready with me hype up drink.

A
I realized recently that I am not having nearly enough fiber. Like I should. Like, I realized that, you know, I try to do the fruits and veggies and like, I try to integrate it into like when I really think about, I'm like, where's the fiber?
B
When you came back from Japan.
A
Yeah.
B
You were like, so I definitely don't eat enough fiber. And it's becoming apparent. And you guys, fiber isn't new, it's not this trendy thing. But it seriously might be one of the most important and most overlooked parts of your health. Like, I feel like people don't talk about fiber enough totally.
A
But that's why Momentous launched Fiber Plus. It's a triple action formula that combines soluble and insoluble fiber with prebiotic resistant starch to support gut health and digestion. It's going to help your body absorb nutrients better. So it like stabilizes your blood sugar and it improves your recovery.
B
Yeah, and a lot of these fiber products haven't evolved. They're single source and full of gut disrupting additives. But Momentous took a different approach with Fiber plus, which combines three types of fiber. So it helps close that major gap in modern nutrition. If you think about it this way, if your gut is functioning better, everything else you're doing, like your diet, your workouts, your recovery becomes more effective.
A
Totally. We, we like Momentous because they are held to a higher standard. So they're clean, they've got minimal ingredients, no unnecessary fillers, and they are tested NSF certified for sports. So they've been third party tested for purity and label accuracy, which I feel like it's important to know if you're taking these supplements, like you want to know that like what you're putting in your body is good. A
But I posted, I think, a variety of things from that I don't like, but I was in the wedding. I don't know. Like, when you're in the wedding, do you post now?
B
I'm, like, looking at the last one. Well, it's like. And if I do, it's like I have, like a video of them from afar dancing or something. And I just. I don't know.
A
So now also, I cannot stand the phones during the ceremony thing. Like, I.
B
What do you mean?
A
When people take out, like, it's the ceremony.
B
You're sitting in your chair in my dump.
A
Sorry.
B
Love you.
A
That's okay. No, that's okay. Like, it doesn't mean that you didn't, you know, was your caption. Cheers to the blah, blah, blah.
B
Yeah, I said something about. Well, hopefully I did. My God,
A
maybe not.
B
Anyways, yes, I did. I did.
A
When you're in the ceremony and people have their phones out, like they're fricking paparazzi. Like, put your phone away.
B
Yeah.
A
I can't stand it. And I know that it's like, people from, like, typically, like, older generation. So they're like, hey, I want to have this photo.
B
Yeah.
A
But I'm like, thinking about the bride and groom. I'm like, they're gonna want this to be a clean shot.
B
Yeah. Gotta get a clean shot. Strike the set literally, like.
A
Cause even if they don't ask for it to be phone free, I'm like, you probably are gonna want it to be phone free. Cause it's just gonna look better.
B
It just looks better when, like, the per. Especially if you're sitting in the aisle, don't pull that phone out.
A
No, when she. When they walk down and, like, everyone has their phone out recording them walk down, I'm like, this literally, I want to die. Like, I don't know why. Like, I have secondhand embarrassment for them. I'M like, you should put that away.
B
Like, yeah, like Ben when he leans over the Broadway show.
A
We ever saw that story.
B
Oh, I thought we did. That's why maybe we did.
A
It was a time that a woman was on her phone in a Broadway
B
show, and I don't know what Ben decided to be. I mean, he was doing the right thing.
A
She was scrolling on Facebook.
B
Yeah, yeah. Not necessary during a show.
A
Literally middle of the show, scrolling on Facebook, full brightness up.
B
Yes.
A
And he lunged across.
B
Lunge was the word. Like, one knee forward.
A
I've never seen him get that low. Like, honestly, ever. I think he whispered in her, please put your phone.
B
She did.
A
No, she was like, oh.
B
She was so.
A
Like, where did he come from? To be fair, it was, like, distracting. Like.
B
No, it was. It was just the best thing ever. What did he just say? Which I kind of figured what he was saying because her. I could see her phone.
A
Yeah, that's another, like, read the room thing.
B
Yeah.
A
I mean, sometimes I fear that I don't read the room, but then I see people, like, who act like that.
B
You read the room.
A
Okay, that's good.
B
Yeah.
A
Yeah.
B
Just joking.
A
Do you. Yeah, because you're like. It takes an environment, like, where someone, like, doesn't read the room for you to realize, like, oh, my God, I
B
hope that's never been me.
A
I think I have really bad main character syndrome at the moment, though. Like, really, really, like, truly, like, I. No, seriously, I think everything's about me. Like, I see something like, that's a.
B
That's direct at me. Actually, no, every.
A
It's a problem.
B
Like, actually, like, more than. I know the thing you're telling me about, but was there more?
A
Everything, Like, I just. I'm like, someone will do something. I'm just like, I know that that's about me. Like, I don't know. Like, I actually have a problem.
B
Like, betterhelp.com gals.
A
No. Is that narcissism? I don't know. I'm scared.
B
No, no, that's. No, because if you think about it, like, I. Like, if you're an overthinker like me, like, like, in a way that's, you know. Would you say overthinking is narcissism because you're overthinking how everyone feels about you? So, I mean, so true. I don't know. I was sitting at breakfast the other day with Ryan, and the girls next to us were like, oh, but he's a narcissist. I'm like, we're just throw around like, all the time. And maybe a ton of people are. I don't know. But don't you agree we're all just,
A
like, throwing terms 100%. That's a big term. Like, that's a. You have to be, like, diagnosed. Like, you know, like, that is clinical.
B
Like, yeah, that's a thing.
A
It's a. Like a personality disorder. Yeah. Like, that's, like, I don't think that that's. I don't think that's main character syndrome. I think.
B
No, I don't think that's you.
A
I also think I'm just having a period in my life where, like, a lot of main character things are happening to me. So, like, I do.
B
I'm like, you're doing your big one right now.
A
Yeah.
B
You got the big three. You've got Japan marathon and engagement.
A
Yeah. Well, it's just like when people in med school.
B
Yeah, in match day. Yeah, the four.
A
My big four.
B
Oh, my God. Speaking of engagement, I thought it'd be fun if you opened your engagement gift on cam and you'll just pass it on to Ben later.
A
That's. You know, I know it's about the couple, but really.
B
But really, you know, I already gave Brooke her, like, girly things, so this. Really. Danielle, except for one thing in there. It's really for you and Ben.
A
This is so, so nice. Is there a card?
B
No. I, like, thought about it, and I was like, I have said so many.
A
No, you have said. Oh, my.
B
So there's a few things.
A
Oh, my.
B
First off, I just saw that.
A
Oh, my God, this jelly cat ring. Where did you see, Like, a store
B
I was at, actually, such a store you would go to in the East Village called, like, random or Random Books. Not because it's called Random is where you would go. But it was, like, books and trinkets and things. It was next to Tom's Juice. Have you been to Tom's Juice? Yeah, I just popped in there, and I saw the ring Jelly cat, and
A
I was like, oh, my gosh, Danielle, this is so thoughtful.
B
Your engagement era.
A
Like, I know you could put on your little wrist. Oh, my gosh. That is so.
B
You can totally, literally, like, donate it. But, like, I just had to give it.
A
No, no, no, no. This will be.
B
Go with your other jelly cat.
A
This will go with my wedding planning. Like, I have, like, a. Like, a shrine of, like, wedding planning things right now.
B
That's fun. Yeah, that can go.
A
I got the planner. My mom got me, like, a customized notebook, and she wrote on the spine of the notebook not to take away from your gift.
B
No, no.
A
She was like, did you see the spine of the book? Because the front says, like, Ben and Brooke, like wedding, blah, blah.
B
Yeah.
A
And the spine says prize winning notes. She customized it.
B
I see what she did there.
A
Her last name is Prizer, so that's.
B
Oh, my God.
A
I know. I thought it was cute. Anyways, so very thoughtful. Danielle. Wait, there's more.
B
We got one.
A
I see a handwritten note.
B
Yeah, sorry, my handwriting's bad.
A
Oh, my God. And it's on the stationary. One photo shoot with Madison Lane on us and film two.
B
Danielle, that is so thought spoken to her. You can just coordinate with her whenever and it's on me.
A
See, I was going to contact her about shooting the wedding too, so maybe that could be my end.
B
That can be your in. You can start there, but. And I know that Ben's like starting his residency stuff, so just whenever you guys want, just so you have more photos for save the day. I mean, obviously your photos were amazing, but I know you were like, oh, my God. I like, wasn't wearing makeup, like, if you just want some more. And she said she'll do film, like, you know.
A
Oh, my God, I love that. And we could do like. You know what people do? Like, they get like when they're getting a hot dog or something.
B
Yes. You could do like a classic New York. Like just something. It's an excuse to do it and you don't feel crazy because, like, you. It was given a gift.
A
Hey, it was.
B
You have to.
A
It was a gift.
B
Danielle and Ryan, whenever you want.
A
Yes, I know. Thank you, Ryan.
B
Yes. You know, Ryan was all over this, you know.
A
Yeah.
B
And these are. These are really for, like, you in bed. You'll see.
A
Oh, my gosh. Danielle, this is so nice.
B
It's very. What is it?
A
Oh, my gosh. Is this customized Legos?
B
Legos? I like, couldn't fix it because it came like, oh, my God.
A
And it says BNB on the back. You customize that? Dude. Danielle, this is amazing. It's like a LEGO picture of art picture.
B
And you could like. I. I almost thought about, like unopening it so you had to put it together, but they don't give directions, so,
A
you know, that's a good task for.
B
It's a little Lego.
A
Oh, my God, I love that.
B
And there's another one in there too. I got two.
A
That was so thoughtful.
B
How can add it to your shrine?
A
How did you find this on Etsy?
B
I just. I was trying to think of Legos. I almost Got you guys like a bride and groom Lego. But then I was like, what?
A
I don't know.
B
Yeah, I thought photo Lego. I was trying to think Lego.
A
So thoughtful.
B
I like this one a lot.
A
Danielle. This is so thoughtful.
B
And I posted that photo, so. Or maybe it's the other one of them you've. Oh, yeah, that one is the photo that from your engagement you posted.
A
Yeah, that was like a landscape shot. I feel like that I was like, this is a, you know, good shot. Wow.
B
So. And it really. You can take the Legos apart.
A
Oh, my gosh. Like, you just search, like Lego art.
B
Yeah, like LEGO photo.
A
So thoughtful.
B
Because hopefully Ben has fun with that.
A
He's gonna have so much fun.
B
You should take it apart and be like, okay, Ben, put it together. See what it is.
A
Daniel got us his bag of Legos. There's a secret message at the end.
B
It's kitschy fun.
A
You know, Daniel, that was so fun.
B
Congratulations once again. And I'm gonna say congratulations, because I think that's what you say. I'm sorry.
A
No, I think it, like, happy for you. Congrats to you both.
B
Yeah. Not congrats to you. It's congratulations to you guys on this next chapter.
A
Yes. That's what I.
B
Very fun. And there'll be many gifts along the way, but it's just another.
A
Oh, my gosh. That is so, so nice of you. Thank you. Oh. So I went to register.
B
Not the experience update from last week's episode.
A
Yeah. Not the experience that I thought it was going to be. Yeah.
B
I saw no.
A
Tick tock. No. I was expecting full Bride Wars. I literally, like, I tried to look it up and like, they don't.
B
They didn't really have or their sound.
A
But there was like, the scene. But it wasn't as. It wasn't what I remembered it as, you know, very.
B
Okay, yeah, it was like a minute long. So it's. How do you like. And it was like, do a TikTok
A
with them two talking to the other bride, trying to convince her to move her date, and she wouldn't move her fucking date. That was so stupid.
B
So annoying.
A
So stupid. Move your damn date. Like, that was so dumb.
B
Anyways, I need to rewatch that movie soon.
A
Yeah. They were like, hey, can you please move your date? And she's like, no. It's like, why? Like.
B
Like why these two kind people asking you? And she was just like, saying no. I think just because, like, they wanted it.
A
No. And they told. They were the one who told her about the date in the beginning if you remember, when they're walking.
B
Yes.
A
They were like, you didn't hear it from me, but there's a. There's an opening on June.
B
That's what it was.
A
Where is it? At the boathouse.
B
Oh, the boathouse.
A
Yes. Yeah.
B
So you went to register?
A
You went to register? I went to Bloomingdale's. I was like, okay, like, let's go. They have a whole. They do have a whole department. Like, and I'm not trying to slander. I really am not. I just think that it's. We have this picture in our head of, like, what it looks like, and it's a register.
B
In person.
A
Yeah. And I, like, showed up, and they were like, okay, well, the regist, like, the coordinate, like, your personal relations manager, everyone. Like, basically the person who convinces you to, like, register for more stuff, you know, like, they're not in right now, but, like, can you sign up? I was like, no, no, I don't need help. We don't need a consult.
B
Just want the scanner.
A
Literally. I was like, literally, just the scanner. She's like, okay, you can sign up, like, on your phone. It was like, very. Whatever. Then she's like, okay, you can just use the scanner app on your phone. And I was like, no, no, no.
B
Want the gun?
A
She's like, well, we do have scanners. Like. And she's like, they don't work sometimes. I literally had to, like, scan shit, like, two, three times to get it to work. Some things we finally would, like, pick something out, and it would be, like, item not available. Like, it would be like. Like they discontinued it or something, you
B
know, but they still had it out.
A
They had it in store. So I guess they're trying to, like, move the inventory, but online. Yeah.
B
So did you literally. So are you still going to register Bloomingdale's or not at this time?
A
Well, and then I have to say, with Bloomingdale's, like, it's really nice if you want, like, really, like, fine, like, china and silver, which I guess people do. It's just so crazy to me to, like, think about this, though, because, like, there's literally a whole floor of it. No. And every designer, it's giving Becca Bloom, like, when she. You know that egg thing that she, like, takes her silverware out of.
B
No, I don't. I know who she is, though.
A
Yes. Okay. She does, like, plate my breakfast with me. And she takes, like, it lux. Like, she's like, luxe silverware and everything, like, that type of stuff, but it's just, like, normal. Not normal. But, like, I'm not gonna.
B
Yeah.
A
Like, it's like fine dining.
B
Like, and you're just never gonna use it because you're like, it's so nice. Like.
A
Well, that's the thing with having things that are, like, too nice to use. It's kind of like, what's the point?
B
What's the point? You're gonna use it on, like, Christmas and Hanukkah. That's it.
A
Yeah. No, I've. We said Shannon Ford, like, eats, like, her night her meals off of her nice wedding china.
B
Oh, yeah, she does.
A
She should.
B
She should.
A
She should enjoy it, because otherwise it just sits in a box doing nothing with it anyways. There's so much like. Like, it can actually get overwhelming. And I feel like people are like, you have, you know, register for your silver in China. It's like, but why? Like, why? I don't also, like, we live in New York. I'm like, where's the. Like, it's gonna all sit. I do understand. The whole concept is, like, it's your last time to really, like, ask for a lot of stuff like this in your life.
B
I say the espresso machine.
A
Yes.
B
I think you're going the right direction.
A
Then we went to, like, the kitchen floor and just. Yeah. It just wasn't hitting. Literally. We wanted to see the espresso machine. That's, like, what we went for. Like, let's see it in person. That was, like, the one that they didn't have. I was like, okay, you're kidding.
B
Were you guys, like, laughing, or were you annoyed in that moment?
A
I. It was annoyance turned laughter. Because it just got to a point where it's, like, ridiculous, you know? It was like, oh, this is, like, really annoying.
B
And when they make you sign up on your phone, it's like, I came in person for a reason.
A
Yeah.
B
Like, give me a tablet at least to do it. Like, don't make me, like, get on my phone and do it.
A
And they had a whole department, multiple people, like, a row of people working. Like, I was just like, I feel like this is kind of the reason why. I mean, I know they were doing.
B
Like, this got away. What are you doing then?
A
No, and I know that they were, like, doing things, but.
B
No, but I know what you mean. Like, I'm like, you want to have this experience? Yeah.
A
I showed. Like, you see me, I'm in my all white. You know, you're ready to go register. And they were like, do you have an appointment? Like, yeah. I was like. I was like. I actually called a Few days ago to make sure that I could come at this time.
B
Yes.
A
And she was like, okay, well, the consultant's not here. Why do I need a consultant to tell me what to buy for my own home? That's crazy, right?
B
Like, that picture you put on your story holding, like, a Rubbermaid, like, cutting board. I was like, oh, wow.
A
No, I was like, where we're at, we'll just ask for, like, the ba. Like, we were like, okay, like, let's just. We gotta get some stuff on this list. Because we didn't come on this way for nothing. And so then we decided to pivot people. I was like, you know what? We're really only asking for kitchen stuff anyways. Because we're like, yeah, that's what we want. Mostly William Sonoma. Sounds good, right?
B
Like, sounds good.
A
Sounds good. Like, they have, like, really good appliances and nice pots. We have pots, though. Like, I'm just. I feel very blessed that we do.
B
So did you end up registering anything at Bloomingdale's? You probably scanned a couple.
A
I did, but, like, it's incomplete.
B
You won't be giving that to the people that.
A
Yeah. And, like, I tried to put the registry links on private because I'm like, this feels so vulnerable to be like,
B
yeah, people like, fine Brooks Register.
A
Yeah. And it's like one out of two purchased. And, like, I don't know. I just feel like that's like, nothing wrong with, like, some seeing the registry,
B
but it's like, if there's only a few on there right now. Yeah. Like, okay.
A
Yeah. You know what I mean?
B
Yeah. Gotta find a new plan for you.
A
Maybe we should do so then. I did do. Yeah. No, there's so many amazing websites that, like, they take everything in. But I. After hearing everybody's feedback, they were. Crate and Barrel is really amazing. So we did Crate and Barrel.
B
You know, they got furniture.
A
Yeah. No. And then I went on a section of the website. Speaking of looking at other people's registries, I hope that this isn't boring people to tears. I really do.
B
Because I really. I'll be like, brooke, okay. Like. Like, I think this is so interesting.
A
You go on the website of, like, Crate and Barrel, and it's like, register Creighton Barrel. What?
B
I just hope this is a boring people. Yeah.
A
Because they probably are like, I don't give a.
B
Like, this is so interesting. Not. You're gonna continue. But Kelly was telling me about her wedding the other day, and she was getting really nitty gritty, and I was, like, literally leaning over the Edge of my seat. Like, I thought it was so interesting. She was like, am I boring you to tears? She said that same thing. Maybe this is like you guys main characters. Maybe it's like a. You're like, I don't want ever. Like, it's actually good that you're having self aware. Self awareness. But it's just you said that and I. Kelly said it. Anyways. Okay. There's a section on Crate fair. We're both you're self. Aw, people.
A
No, no. So funny. There's a section on the website where it's like, get inspired by other people's registries. Oh, and I clicked on that first one. Corporate. Natalie, scroll down a little bit more. Morgan Yates. Like, oh, no. They have like. They're like, they must have done like, deal. So then of course I, you know, CIA. I was like, hey, what do we got to do to get.
B
Yeah, wait, you should have one on.
A
Yeah, I know. No, I. Well then I was like, I was like, I'm legitimately registering here. Like, this is actually what I use.
B
Someone that's listening works.
A
Yeah.
B
And that.
A
Yeah, they're really good. Like, they like, you know, a choice of espresso machine. Like, they have got good stuff and good. Also, like, I like the crate and Barrow brand things. Like, it's just something like, I'm just like, it's, you know, Crate and Barrel brand, like fruit bowl. Like, it's like a nice wooden. It's good. Doesn't need to be. I don't need a thousand. Like, that is so preposterous to me to think about. But, like, I just can. I literally can't think about it.
B
There's just no need.
A
I know I could use a few more, like, everyday dining plates. Like, honestly. Yeah.
B
I chip sometimes. Like, just give me some regular plates.
A
Yeah. Maybe some more. I don't know the capitals, but it's a good website. I would recommend. I'm like, when's the last time I went to a Crate and Barrel? Because then I told Ben, I was like, we should just go to William Sonoma. Like when we were like, where should we go? And he was like, like, please. No, like, please.
B
Like, please. I think we did our one.
A
He's like, I really don't want to go anymore.
B
Like, yeah, don't want to do that. I know. Unless someone tells you. They've got the scanners. They've like, yeah, just don't know.
A
And cranberry people are messaging me like they do events. Like they do. Like, they do events. Yeah. You come and like, meet.
B
Meet other brides.
A
Bride meet up. You know, I'll be there.
B
No. Oh, my God. That's so.
A
Like, they do like a. Like a, you know, 10 off everything. Like, like those events, like, when they close the store at, like, night. I feel like we do that as, like, fundraisers, like, in school.
B
Yeah. I don't see you doing.
A
No, no, no, no, no.
B
Cuz also, you'd be doing register, like you.
A
Yeah. So I have like eight things on this list essentially right now I'm like, is that like. I don't know if it's.
B
You got to do more.
A
I know, but I'm just like, there's
B
gonna be a lot of people that.
A
Is there a lot, though? Because I keep saying that, and then I'm like, no one's really asked, so I don't really know.
B
Oh, right. Because you were doing this for now. Well, I'm just thinking when you guys get married like that.
A
Yeah.
B
Gonna be another question. But you could also just have a honeymoon fund or college tuition. Low key.
A
Yeah. Donate on my behalf.
B
Yeah. Donate on my behalf. Pick a cause.
A
There's like, a dolphin named after me in, like, another country.
B
There is no, I'm saying. Oh, but, like, that could be wrong.
A
Yeah. I don't care.
B
Like, you know, donate to Brooklyn.
A
Name a school after me. Like, you know, that would be awesome.
B
Like, name school after me. Name a street after me. That should. That.
A
Yeah. Plant a tree. Like.
B
Yeah, Yeah, a tree. I love that. Have fun. Yeah.
A
So that's what's going on with all of that.
B
What's going on with you for that date? That's amazing.
A
You've been trying Matcha. You've been preparing for your Japan trip
B
and running around been trying Matcha. I don't know how I feel.
A
Makes to feel. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, you tried both ends of the spectrum.
B
You tried the blank street one. I did.
A
And that's, like, real. That's like, you know, sweet. It's like the fast food equivalent of Matcha. Like, I feel like, not as bad. I would still go there, but, you know, that's. And then you tried, like, real Matcha, so I feel like you need to find somewhere that's like an in between. Maybe.
B
I ran into my comfort creator right now. Is obviously, I love Sierra Miller from Summer House, but is Sierra. Sierra Miller?
A
Yes.
B
Bridget and Danielle's bestie. She's a redhead.
A
She's.
B
Her content is just right. I know because I was gonna say it's spelled differently, but I do. I think she's C I E R R A.
A
Okay, okay.
B
And I think others. Yeah, with an A. Anyways, I just ran into her on the street today and she was giving me some matcha ideas as well. And maybe you told me this as well, but she was like, maybe get an iced matcha latte like you said. Said, but with oat milk because it makes it a little sweeter. I don't know. That was her opinion. I don't know. It was, it was cute, honestly. Basically, Ryan woke up one day and he was like, danielle, I've never had matcha and we're going to Japan and like, I just want to have a baseline of like what to expect. So when I have this like really good matcha. He also, I think was genuinely under the impression that there's no coffee there.
A
And that was funny.
B
We texted you in bed.
A
Yeah. He was like, they do have coffee. Yeah.
B
Yeah. I was like, don't worry, Ryan. Like you can have coffee.
A
Especially the way that like Ryan drinks coffee. Like, I mean, they have black. Yeah, like they have, have.
B
They have that.
A
They don't have like you know, Duncan with caramel and you know, whatever. But they've got worries, They've got good coffee.
B
Yeah, I'm really excited about that. But yeah. So we're prepping for our Japan. Honestly, not even much prep. I've like bought my outfits forever ago. I just bought a ton of like basics. I've got the Aritzia stuff, like really all good there. And I can't believe they use our same outlets. I texted you to confirm, like triple confirm. But I guess the voltage is still a little weird. Like I can't bring an air wrap.
A
I didn't try to bring one. People were saying like I posted something like that.
B
Why did you have the hair issue? Because you forgot?
A
I didn't bring my air wrap because people told me.
B
Right. Okay. Yeah.
A
But then I was like, I probably should have, but I was using like the hotel air blow dryer and they have like, it sounds like a Dyson. Like it's like that type of engine.
B
Yeah. You're like, this doesn't sound like a
A
little power, but I don't really know how to use a regular blow dryer.
B
Nope, I don't either. I need a blow dry brush. So I bought a dual voltage blow dry brush from Amazon that was like cheap. And then it came with like a straightener you put on it and a curler. So you might.
A
I was just wearing my hair up because it was like raining every day. But you might Want to wear your hair up because it's hot?
B
No, I plan to slick it back a lot. Slick in my Rick.
A
It's nice too, because it's just out of your face for the day.
B
Out of your face. I love the vibes and everyone.
A
Like, a lot of people wear their hair up. I feel that's a thing.
B
Yeah. I might copy you and find a hair salon at some point during the trip if it makes sense to just,
A
you know, you could ask the hotel to help you with things. I didn't know that until the end.
B
Smart. Yeah.
A
Kind of mentioned that. They're like, you can. Have you tried asking them on desk
B
to help you, you know, Googling? No. Yeah, should be. I'm. I'm getting really, really excited, so that'll be really fun. But one thing I just decided to do. I don't know it Literally no reason. Actually, I know why. So basically, I'm as you guys are listening to this, I am going to Florida, and then from there flying to Wisconsin for Ryan's family reunion. Sl a wedding. Sl Grandma's birthday. Like, a lot of it's gonna be amazing. It's gonna be great. So funny, though, because. Well, I think I said on the podcast when Ryan asked me on FaceTime in front of his family, like, are you gonna need to check a bag? Like, it's extra if you have to check. I'm like, I don't know. Maybe I'm gonna need a bag. Like, yeah, whatever. Anyways, did you get the base poppy bag?
A
No, I didn't get something. I must. I was left off of that mailer list. But it does look nice.
B
It's so cute.
A
It's. Sorry. No, it's okay. I get poppy.
B
Yeah. You know, maybe it came from base because they had recently asked for my address. So maybe. Yeah.
A
Yeah.
B
Anyways, it's okay.
A
I'm not. Look, I'm all set.
B
Yeah, I'm all set. You have a pink suitcase. You're good.
A
I also recently I got some stuff from them for Japan, so.
B
Great.
A
I. I'm not. I'm not my Max.
B
You're like, I actually don't want it. So, yeah, forget it.
A
Anyways. But it looks very cute, though.
B
Well, it just, like, makes me happy. And so I was like, I would love to take this with me. And then I'm like, wait, I'm going to Florida. And then Wisconsin. Like, I gotta check bag. And then I decided I'm just gonna challenge myself to carry on a bag. Why not? Just for fun.
A
Are you traveling for, like, A week total?
B
Yeah, a week. But I thought about it. I was like, this is something. I'm like, are you guys bored to tears? I thought about it. When I go home, I have a full closet. Like, every time I go home, I bring clothes there and leave them, and I literally just wear a bathing suit or a workout outfit. Like, I'm not getting dressed up at all when I go home this week. And then there's a wedding. I rented a dress on Fashion Pass, so I have that in there. And then we're, like, going on the boat and, like, kayaking. Like, it's. It's during the summer. It's so easy. Everything's really small. It's just like, yeah, sundresses and some shorts. Whatever, Whatever. But then I was like, my toiletry bags are really, really big. So then I was like, let me pare down my makeup bags. Like, I don't know. I'm just, like, challenging myself for literally no reason.
A
You're just challenging yourself.
B
Yes. That's how I was doing this morning. I was just, like, trying to. I was like, how much can I. And it really is amazing. Like, how much. How little we don't need, actually.
A
Yeah. Oh, totally.
B
Like, the makeup. Like, as I did my makeup today, I put it in a new bag.
A
Yeah.
B
I was like, half the stuff in my makeup bag. I don't but, like, decide.
A
Deciding is hard, though. Like, I'm like, there's so many bronzers. Like, totally. Which one is the right choice, like,
B
for that day and that vibe. But this I know. I'm literally doing my makeup, like, twice in the next week, so I. I don't need to bring my huge Louis Vuitton.
A
Yeah.
B
Cosmetic. Like, I don't need to. So it's just, like, a fun little challenge. And I said to Ryan, I was like, I can't wait for your dad to not say anything about my suitcase. Really impressive, because my dad did. Like, everyone. Everyone's dad does that. Like, oh, what are you going here?
A
Robbery time.
B
Not this time. No one can say that to me.
A
So it's.
B
It's time to be outdoors. You know, it's finally so beautiful out. It's so nice out. And I've been going home to Florida a lot, as we know. And it was just time to upgrade the chairs that I was tanning in. That's why I went on Wayfair, because they have everything. I know you just had a little barbecue recently with your Wayfair things. They have so much outdoor stuff.
A
Yeah, the outdoor stuff is, like, Next level. I feel like if you've been. I feel like that's something you procrastinate. Not just you, like, everyone, like, you know, you're like, oh, okay. Like, I'll deal with my outdoor space eventually. But I love how fast Wayfair ships. Like, it's getting to you. Like, you don't have to wait until freaking next season to get your furniture. Like, no, absolutely not. It's so great. I actually, the last piece that I got from Wayfair, it's like a new kitchen cabinet sort of situation.
B
It looks really nice.
A
It's gorgeous. And I did the professional assembly with Wayfair. So literally it got delivered and then the next day I had a professional come and put it together for me because, you know, you know, I'm not, I'm not doing that. Like, Wayfair deals with all the hard parts. No.
B
Yes. That's so nice. Yeah. So they have outdoor seating, grills, major appliances, storage, rugs, decor. They, they're your one stop shop for home. Like Brooke said, they have the assembly services. They also have over 20 million five star reviews. You can hear from real customers before you buy, which I really like. Like, I want to know what Ashley says about it, you know?
A
Yeah, totally. My aunt is actually an interior designer. She's like always recommending Wayfair stuff, like to me, my mom, like anybody who she's like, helping, helping, you know, with their home because you get that like, really luxe look without the price tag. I'm telling you, like, you would never believe, like, that these items are from.
B
Yeah, they have all different styles too. Depending on what your interior design style is, like, you can filter it. It's just so nice. So patio season is here and these deals won't last. Head to Wayfair.com outdoor right now to get your outdoor space ready for way less. That's W a Y F A I R.com Wayfair Every style, every home.
A
I always hear people talk about clean beauty and I, to be completely honest, I don't even know what that means. Like, I. I've never like really done my research into it, but I feel like you can just print it on a label, be like, yay, it's clean. But it's like, what does that actually mean? Because most makeup is actually 80 to 90 pigment and filler. So once I realized that, I was like, oh, okay, I gotta be more conscious about like my makeup situation. And like, because I'm being so conscious about my skincare and like my ingredients in my skincare My skincare routine. Right. So that's why I'm really into og.
B
Yeah. And I also feel like I'll put on a full face of like non clean makeup in the morning and then I'm like, at the end of the day, it feels so gross. So that's why it's nice to have that clean beauty. They are amazing. They are NSF certified organic. It's which is one of the most rigorous standards in the beauty industry, you guys. So every product is made without synthetic fragrance, artificial fillers, or unnecessary additives. So you can feel very confident about what you're putting on your skin every day.
A
So it's a really easy, like, full face routine. Basically, they have three sticks. They have the copper for one warmth, the rose quartz for flush, and the opal for glow. I mean, I would say even less than five minutes. Like, I love that. It's just, it sticks. It's really convenient for me. I've put so much work into my skin and, like, getting my skin right. And I want to be skin forward. Like, I want my skin forward. I want my skin to shine. And that's why I love og, because it's like working with my skin. Like, it's organic makeup that works like skincare.
B
Yeah. And you don't never have that, like, it's super heavy in the afternoon feeling that I was talking about. So. Nice. So if you're ready to raise your beauty standards, OG's got you covered. Go to og.comalsonthego and use code gals on the go for 20 off. That's o g e.com gals on the go and enter code gals on the go to get 20 off. Wow.
A
You're just like a regular girl. Like, you're just a. You're laid back in your hat right now.
B
And yeah, I'm meeting a lot of Ryan's family for the first time. So I'm like, I don't want to roll in there with all my, you
A
know, you're all seeing one house.
B
Yeah, we're all staying at. Well, there's a few people. Few Airbnb, but like, yeah, I'm in a house with some of them and I just, you know, you want to be cool Danny and my bright pink suitcase.
A
But this is very Danny.
B
This is very Danny.
A
It is Danny and Danny rolling up with, like, her one little suitcase. Like, she's like, I didn't need that much stuff.
B
Like, I need much. Just swipe a little eyeshadow on. Like, really? No, I have room, you know, laid Back. That's what I've been. I literally did nothing this weekend. It was amazing. I just tanned on my roof.
A
It's nice to have a. A weekend of.
B
So nice to do nothing or plan. No plans. No.
A
No plans.
B
Yeah. And Ryan did the same thing, which he never does. Like, we were just both kind of vibing. Vibing at home. We watched Netflix shows. Like, all kinds of, like. Yeah.
A
Anything good? What? I'm like, you did the way you said that. I'm like, you want to go? I watched Netflix shows or.
B
We went. Well, because we saw the MJ movie. Yeah.
A
Yeah. Oh, I watched that too. The Verdict. Yeah, of course. Yeah. And then. No, I. No, I was just like, I. I'm so when you watch both, it's. Oh, I think it's good.
B
We saw both.
A
No, it's good. I. I. Still not the idol that.
B
Yeah.
A
I once thought he was, like, you
B
know, but then it's like, I. I will not.
A
No, it's so. It's so, like.
B
But seeing the movie the way he, like. Yeah, no, I'm not gonna.
A
No, no. It's like two different, like, perceptions.
B
Yeah. Two different perceptions. And even, like, some of his, like, like, close friends and people that. It's just. It was interesting. And I think it's good to be educated on both sides.
A
Yeah. And we didn't really know because we were younger. Like, I feel like we grew up. Like, I remember when he died.
B
Do you remember when he died? I remember where I was. I was in Illinois.
A
Really?
B
Yeah. I, like, remember where I was. It was the craziest thing. And you remember when it happened and all that?
A
No, I remember. Yeah. I remember, like, time. Like, I remember I was in middle school and like, like, people were like, michael Jackson died. Like.
B
Yeah. And then we, like, watched all his music videos again. It's like, almost. It was a resurgence for me because we were so young already.
A
Yeah. When did.
B
Like, it's kind of 2009, I think.
A
Was it in June?
B
Oh, I don't remember the month.
A
I'm like, when did he die? This is the third week we're talking about.
B
And then you sent me the Michael Jackson themed workout class.
A
I lost it. We almost put that in the dump. It is so funny, guys. There's, like, this plot, like, it was like a Pilates class.
B
Some sort of sculpt.
A
Yeah. Like a band. Like, so. And they did it Michael Jackson themed. So they have the band around their legs and they are doing, like, heel raises, but they. And then they have their hand on there. But they're all in a line, like, doing it to Michael Jack.
B
Like, it was amazing.
A
It was crazy. Let's see, when he died, June 25, 2009. So I must have been like, you know, middle school just ended. Yeah, yeah, no, it was crazy. I learned a lot about him. Like, I really.
B
It was so interesting though. Like, really well done. And I never. I never saw Neverland, like, like visually. So it was cool to me.
A
I thought that they were dramaticizing it in the movie. They weren't not.
B
Yeah, well, some clips were dramaticized. Like them looking out the window. Like, you know, but. But no, but it was really like
A
they had like rides and like.
B
Yeah, like. And like they showed his interview. I don't know. That's what I was like. I don't know. Do I go down this road right now? We've talked about Michael Jackson 3.
A
No, no, it's. But I'm glad that you aligned.
B
So you saw that too. Because it's very difficult for me and Ryan to find something we both like. And usually documentaries and stuff like that
A
we will watch, like, the most trending one. Well, yeah, I didn't want to. Like, a lot of them right now are not that. That's. That is incredibly depressing. Like, it's sad to watch, like, you know, anything that's like this. But I. I can't do the ones where people die, like, right now. Like, there's so many. I can't crash. Like, I'm like, they all die. Like, why do I want to watch that one? Like, I. I heard it's good, but it's about like a girl who, like, drove a car full of her friends, like, into a wall and they all died and she lived. And it's like, is she guilty or not guilty? I'm like, I don't care. Like, no, I don't really care. They all die.
B
Qu.
A
That's just that it's just sad.
B
Yeah.
A
I've been on bad news. Tick tock. Oh, my God. I gotta get off this.
B
You gotta say no more.
A
Yeah. No. Or have you ever gotten like, cave diving TikTok or any of these? Like.
B
Oh, my God, yes. Like, and they show like this person and then this person turned back. Oh, no. I actually, like, was holding my breath watching. I was like, I'm in the cave, right? It's like the underwater ones.
A
Yeah. The divers. The one guy went up to get help and he tried to tell them and they were like, no, it's too late. Right?
B
I. I couldn't. I. That I actually Literally said, no more like this because I couldn't.
A
This little heart can't. No, that was bad. Like I. I ended up on bad news and then just like seeing like a bunch of like. Because like they get a lot of engagement, obviously, like news stories or like going back to things that happened a few years ago, like getting the, the verdict, like, literally.
B
Of course.
A
But I'm. I'm trying to get on to Love Island Talk.
B
Yeah, watch some Love Island.
A
I actually did end up on a really interesting side of TikTok. Speaking of which, where. Because I've been like obsessed with it for the past day, I'll put it also in the roundup of the week. I don't know, I don't think it's like controversial, but I just think it's interesting to think about. There's a guy who does a lot of fashion videos, like thrift type stuff. And I guess he made a video talking about how big logos and everything make you look cheap. And then someone replied because he said, like, it signals something to the world. So like, do you want to be that person? Like, who it signals? And I'm like, I mean, I love a logo, you know, like, yeah, like, like we love a logo.
B
So, you know, I'm like, no.
A
And then people, he was like, I'll tell. Comment below, like a picture of your engagement ring, your family, this, and I'll tell you what you're signaling. And he tells them what social class he thinks that they're in. No, it is crazy. Like, I was so deep in the comments, like, of looking at these photos of like families from like the Midwest, you know, and he's like, upper middle, lower middle.
B
Like, do they reply like, you got it?
A
Yeah. No. And then, and then he'll be like, with a few of my simple tweaks, we can get you to upper. Like, I'm like, what are the tweaks?
B
Like, is it then like, you know, DM for my.
A
I don't know, maybe. Maybe that's.
B
He got your attention.
A
No, I didn't comment your race. No. Can you imagine? Yeah. And I'm like, what do we think? Engaged? No, I. But then I did start like perceiving myself. I went to my Instagram, I was like, what am I signaling? Like, what did he say?
B
Just class wise or does he have other signals?
A
This was talking about like, essentially how the best way to dress is like that you don't know, like if they. They. Because I guess like billionaires, there's some billionaire, they dress in a way that you're like, I don't know if, like, they could be right, you know, just a regular person or a billionaire. And so he's like, I guess arguing that that's. That's, like, how you want to be, like, where. It's like, you're not. Because sometimes if you're too flaunty, like, it's, like, obvious that you don't have it.
B
Right?
A
Yes.
B
Yeah, that's. That's the whole quiet luxury.
A
Yes, exactly.
B
All those things.
A
Exactly. No, he did. He told a few people. Like, he. He was like, you know, the people who. He's like, great work. I, like, zoomed in and stuff.
B
Like, I was like, what are they working on?
A
It's like, what are they doing? That's, like, so great work. Yeah. No, and also, like, people are just willing to get themselves roasted on the Internet. Like, that's crazy. There's, like, fallen, like, families in there. I'm like, save yourself. Like, don't do this.
B
How do you know their families? Are they posting photos?
A
They'll post pictures of their family. No, people. Well, I have sauce.
B
What do you think?
A
Will Smith's like, yeah, Christmas card photo. Like, something. And it's like. I'm like, this is so crazy. People do that also about, like, their looks. I've known. Notice, like, they'll be like, you know, tell me what I need to change. And I'm like, that is. I get it. Because, like, the Internet could be useful, but it could also be so brutal, man.
B
Like, sask. I Like, between the two of you.
A
I know. Yeah, please. Yeah. It doesn't.
B
I don't need the world to also see.
A
Yeah.
B
Opinions.
A
I paid for one of those AI things to tell me what I need to change about my face.
B
Were you in agreeance?
A
This now I'm just getting. I'm confessing. What do you do? I have paid for one of. Yeah, it's called Cuel. This is not an ad. I just, like, saw it, and I was like. And it's like, you know, this is why this woman is perceived as pretty. I'm, like, obsessed. Like, why do I care so much?
B
Okay. Main character. No, literally.
A
What the. What am I saying? What am I saying? No. And it was like, take all these pictures of your face. I had to take so many damn photos of my face.
B
Every angle.
A
Every angle.
B
Yeah.
A
Yes. And then they basically said, like, purport. Like, it goes into, like, your proportions of your face.
B
Okay. Yeah.
A
And you can pay extra for the surgical recommendations package. I did not do that. I was like, I don't you can't? No, I'm gonna. Would be Michael Jack, considering. No, you would be Michael Jack. I can't do that, so. But what did it tell me? It told me, like, my hair is good.
B
It. It was like, hair is good, but it tells me.
A
Oh, it was like maybe. Oh, it actually did tell me to cut my hair shorter. I was like, I don't believe this.
B
Yeah.
A
Suddenly. No, I don't suddenly.
B
See.
A
It's like, no, that can't be right. It said a little bit.
B
It.
A
It won't tell you surgical, but it will tell you, like, lip filler and stuff. It was like a little bit of upper lip filler to. Was like, I like my damn lips.
B
You know, like, maybe it's good you did it. You're like, you know what? I don't agree.
A
Yeah. Yeah. I stood strong my. And I. Like, I thought my skin looked good. And it was like, you know, I need to, like, look up this full report. It was like, a full thing, and it was expensive. I don't know if it was worth. So we're clear. Yeah, I don't think it was particularly worth it. Have you ever been sucked into anything like that online? No, I'm sure
B
not like that, though. I. I've always considered going in person to, you know, like, oh, the colors. No, no. Like, to a dermatologist or, like, and what would you do to me? Like, what would you do? Yeah, it's like, I've. I've just been so curious. Like, I won't be offended, like, if you were to just not nip and tuck, but, like, you know, a little something, something, what would you do? Like, what would be the top two
A
things now that I'm looking? My bookkeeper for our accountant actually did ask, what. What is this purchase? And I was like, well, now you've
B
talked about it on the podcast.
A
So, yeah, right off, I did. When I first did, I was like, oh, I'll do a video on this. And I was like, is this kind of pathetic that I did this?
B
Like, I know I'm telling thousands.
A
What am I signaling by posting this video? Like, what.
B
What am I saying?
A
That's like signaling lower. Like, that's, like, low. Like, that's low.
B
You know, middle.
A
Yeah.
B
Upper, middle, lower. This is great. If you come across that guy again.
A
I will. I will. He said it wasn't even. Because then people are like, I make this much. Like, what is that considered? And he was like, no, no. It's literally not about money. It's just, like, the Vibe.
B
Like, what you're signaling.
A
What you're signaling. Like, he was like, it literally has nothing to do with, like, you could be upper class and just be like a classy person. Like, essentially is what he was saying.
B
I was like, and I agree, by the way. It does not matter how much money you have at all.
A
No. But I feel like you see people and you're like, oh, my gosh. Like, they must be important.
B
Yeah. You know, basically in the way of themselves.
A
Yes. I mean, most of it is how you carry yourself. It's also like, I guess, like what you're wearing just because, like. Yeah, that's what you've.
B
Yeah.
A
Yeah. Oh, my God. And then there's people in the comments, like, like roasting him. Like, this is so, so, like, crazy that you're making this video. Like, this stuff doesn't matter. Like, I don't care about this. I care about being a good person. And, you know, and someone replied to that comment and goes corny and performative.
B
Like, saying their comment.
A
You're signaling party and performative. I can't. It was a whole war in there. I was. I was infatuated.
B
The comments. It was infatuated.
A
I would spend hours. That was like my deep dive of the week.
B
Yeah, I. Yeah, my deep dive, I guess was Michael Jackson. If I were to have one. That was because then I was searching so many things.
A
Yeah.
B
He was married to Presley's daughter.
A
Isn't that so crazy that he was married?
B
I just never knew him to be associated with something. Sorry, I will not bring him up.
A
They love. I'm trying to find my. My year analysis is ready. I'm also really glad that I didn't pay for the premium. Like you could pay for the rush for. Luckily I didn't, but because they turned it around quickly.
B
Luckily I did.
A
But they keep emailing me. They're like, are you sure you don't want your hairstyle recommendations? I'm like, is there something you need to tell me?
B
Just let me know. Here. Are they like, put it in Invisible Ink 299 to see what this.
A
I think it's like 25 bucks to get the hairstyle recommendations. I'm like, on principle, like, I don't really want it.
B
How much did you pay initially?
A
I want to say this was like 100 bucks. Like, it was not cheap.
B
You paid a hundred?
A
No, that's why I said I'm signaling, like, desperate. Like, this is really sad. Like, I am not proud.
B
I said expensive. You meant like 25.99.
A
No, no, I'm not proud of this. Like, this is not great. Like, it's.
B
The report better be damn good.
A
No, it's signaling not good. I'm trying to log in here so that I can tell you guys everything that was on my freaking report. Where's my report?
B
Do this recently?
A
This was May 20th.
B
That's recently. That's post engagement.
A
Ready?
B
That's a week after you got.
A
It was. I was spiraling that week. I was like, I don't have a lot of time. Because that's when they were like a year. Like, more than a year. Engagement is like really long. So I was like, I only have one year to get this together. Are you serious? So then I was like, panicking and I was like, oh, my God.
B
Personal trainer.
A
Yeah. I did everything in that one week. No, seriously, I was freaking out. I'm trying to log in. It sounds like this is an ad for this now, but, like, it's so crazy. It made me like. I wouldn't recommend doing this if you're already spiraling about yourself because it makes you think, like, once again, like, think I had to be strong with myself and be like, no, that is not true. Like, because it makes you think about things that you're not already thinking about, you know?
B
Right. It like, adds to the insecurities or.
A
No, like, just things I didn't realize before.
B
Okay, New insecurity unlock.
A
Yeah.
B
Yeah.
A
Because I'm sitting here thinking, like, my nose is the problem or something. And it's like, like, your nose is fine. Actually. Actually, we gotta talk about the other st.
B
So what's the report like?
A
It tells you how this photo.
B
I cannot. Oh, my God, please.
A
It's really bad. It's really bad.
B
This photo's going in the dumpster.
A
Yeah. No, and it goes into average. Like it compares your face to the average face. No, I was like, why do I need to know this? I'm quite typical. I'm signaling quite typical. So that's good.
B
It gives you a number.
A
Yeah, no, it's giving scores. I don't know.
B
Why is it only based off who else has the apple, though?
A
That's a good question. I don't know that it did say. And like, it told me my face shape is oval. I guess so. That was helpful.
B
That's helpful.
A
Cuz people always say that.
B
I'm like, yeah, I. You. It's giving oval.
A
I feel like yours is giving oval too, though, is it not?
B
I always thought mine was like, I don't know. I don't know, like, heart or circle.
A
What. How is a face shaped heart, though? Like, I don't know. I.
B
People said. I think. I don't. You know, I might have to try this app.
A
And then. Then it's like your features analysis, so it goes into everything. Oh, it did. Tell me. It was like. But your under eye circles are bad. Like, it basically.
B
They don't know who they're talking to, though. You've done so much.
A
I know. And.
B
And I don't think I. I think some people, I'm like, oof. Like, honestly. Yeah, but you don't have that to me.
A
That's nice of you. Look, they zoom in. They like, they. As they zoom in, like, to your, like, eye, it's up. If you're watching on YouTube, you see this. Yes. It's like, actually, we need to talk about this. This. It was like, look at your eyelashes. Like, the intensity of your eyelashes get lash extension. I will show you. It showed me the ideal Brooke. I will show you that. That is like the best part of the whole thing.
B
Like, if you were to do everything
A
it recommended, it's like you could look like this. And I was scared. No, no, no, no. I don't think so. Like, I was, like, kind of freaked out. Oh. Oh, my God.
B
Does it look like you?
A
I don't think so. Like, so this is the picture that I started with. Just so we're clear. Like, you know, But I took it like, no, make it said to do no makeup. Now that I'm looking at it, I probably could have done a little better, but I was panicked and rushed.
B
I needed my squirt now.
A
I needed my. This is the ideal brook. No, no, that is.
B
That is not you, and that will never be you.
A
Yeah. No, it wants me to cut my hair to my shoulder. Like, what is that length, like, to your shoulders, essentially? Sorry. You can zoom in and everything. Yeah. Maybe we can put an insert on the screen. Cut my hair to my shoulders. Where get lip filler. The lip filler's nuts. That's crazy.
B
That's just not you. Like, that is like so many surgeries, and that's just like. That's not you. No, I. I don't like that person. No, I know.
A
I'm scared. Like, I'm scared of that person. And I'm like, looking at what the differences are. It's like a brighter under eye, a little bit of a different eyebrow shape, a lip filler and the hair, something
B
with cheeks going on.
A
You're right. You're right. They are.
B
They did like, they're More prominent. They're more Angelina.
A
Yeah, yeah. It gives you eyebrow and eyelash recommendations. Under eye. It's the under eye area, like trough.
B
Wow, you really did your big one.
A
I know. I hope I'm really not like making everybody, you know, go crazy. It actually says here, like, see, I went into this being like, it's like my botch knows. Damn. That. That's the one thing I gotta fix. It literally says no summ. The subject nose is already harmonious and currently needs no non surgical adjustment. Non surgical. I guess maybe if I said the surgical package, then it would have, you know, the cheeks. It says given this underlying structure and fullness, currently there's no non surgical solutions. When it says there's no non surgical, that's like you're out of. Yeah. I wonder what I would have. My ideal would look like if I said to get the surgery though. Like, then I'm like, what's option to
B
do the surgical package?
A
What is that?
B
Another hundred dollars, you're gonna die.
A
My lips just like cut out.
B
Your lips.
A
It like cuts out every part of. This is so crazy. I would. So long story short, I would not recommend doing this. It really provided me no new information.
B
If anything new insecurity.
A
The one thing that I did see of how to like make yourself look better is to find a celebrity that you kind of look like similarly, like copy their colors.
B
You got red hair.
A
Yeah. It's like I. I've been liking a dua lipa. Like, I'm like, people are like.
B
Which you really do look.
A
No, I really don't. For sure.
B
I really do.
A
Okay, thank you. That's very nice of you.
B
And I remember you showed me the photo of the red hair you wanted and I really liked it.
A
It just wasn't giving, you know.
B
Well, it was. And then you went and did it the second time and we went pink.
A
It was a phase. It was a phase.
B
It was Halloween too.
A
It was.
B
It worked out great.
A
Yeah, I showed up. You guys, you're like, wow, you really committed to the costume. That was crazy, right?
B
Like, yeah, but. But like I'm laughing now, but generally at the time it wasn't like, Brooke looks like a clown. Like, I didn't feel that way. But now looking back at like Journey, it is funny, but I would have said, like, it was just.
A
It was such a. Like I just did everything in one. So I was on Accutane, dyed my hair, right. So I wasn't self tanning. My skin was bad. Like, you know, I had nothing going for me.
B
Like, hey, you're in a long, loving relationship.
A
No, that's the thing.
B
That's the thing.
A
When you're in a loving relationship, you take those risks.
B
Yeah. You see all of the eras.
A
Yeah. And we can look back. We look back at, like, some photos of our relationship. We're like, wow, we both just didn't give a fuck. Like, you know, like, yeah.
B
There's points where we're like, yeah, how
A
great that we both just stopped caring. But now I do care.
B
Care.
A
You know, and it's nice to not care, but it's also corny and performative.
B
I don't care about how I look.
A
Yeah, no, it is. I understand the sentiment of, like, the. Like, I'm. I don't care what society says about me, but unfortunately, society says something about everybody. So, you know, it's kind of like I. And I've seen actually, like, this side of women being like, you know, look, men are going to be, like, creepy and whatever, weird towards us anyway, so you might as well just. Just not to play into it. But, like. No.
B
Might as well do what they want.
A
No, no, no, no. But, like, use it to your. Like, if you work in a sales role and you're like, totally a woman, like, play that up. Like. Yeah, that's.
B
Have you seen this? I don't remember her. The sales girl. She's, like, gone famous. My brother, like, follows. There's a few lawn. She just bought this beautiful house in, like, Miami or something.
A
Okay. Is her name Shelby?
B
Yes, I think Shelby sounds.
A
That sounds right. What does she sell?
B
I literally don't even know, but I know she just has made so much money and, like, she's beautiful and probably uses that to her advantage. And she. Yeah, like, yes, I agree. Like, might as well, if you're ready to use it.
A
I feel like it's like an aura thing, too. Like, a lot of, like, you know, you just have to, like, be comfortable, like, being around.
B
Yeah. Like, a lot of these girls on Love island, they have, like, an aura about them.
A
I went to a concert yesterday and there was.
B
Oh, yeah, you went to a Sun.
A
Yeah. That was so crazy. I've been just being real. I'm, like, paying for recommendations.
B
My face. No, the concert wasn't Rogue. You also met Chris Lake.
A
Yeah, I did. At Papa Bagel. Yeah. Did they DM you too?
B
No. Oh, wow. They tailored it.
A
Yeah. They were like, chris Lake is coming, if you want to come. I was like, sure, that's.
B
So they've done a few, like, DJs at Papa Bagel. I think it's a cool idea.
A
I thought it was, too. I hugged him and that was weird. I shouldn't have done that. I.
B
Wait, really?
A
I. Yeah, it was corny.
B
Brooke Main character syndrome.
A
I'm sure he didn't think a thing about it. No, but it wasn't else. Huh? Cause I was like, hi, Chris. And like, we were just kind of standing, hey, Chris. And then I hugged him. But, like, it was noticeably weird. Like, you think? Yeah.
B
No one else was hugging. Or were you the only one who got to meet him?
A
I don't think the other people hugged. It was like a weird.
B
But you're a big fan.
A
Yeah. And I was like, and here's my
B
fiance, who's also a big fan, and we're going to your concert.
A
Yeah, we were like, we've seen you three times. Like, you probably. He's like, okay. Like, you know.
B
Was it other influencers there?
A
No, it was, like, open to public. But they just knew that I liked him, I think.
B
No, that's.
A
I know.
B
You got to, like, cut the line.
A
Yeah, yeah, I got the comfort.
B
Hey, vip.
A
That's.
B
Hey, use what you.
A
Hey, if you got it, use it to your advantage. No, I was like, a five minute thing. And then I got the bagels and ate them in the park while we were on a video.
B
Oh, yeah.
A
I was literally on a work. I'll just.
B
Or Grip. Grip and whatever their slogan.
A
What was I saying about the concert?
B
Oh, you're, like, being silly.
A
I'm being so silly.
B
Thanks.
A
There was a group of girls in, like, adjacent to me at the concert, and they rolled up and I was literally like, the cast of Love island is here.
B
Like, oh, really?
A
They looked like. I was like, they're going to be bombshells next week. Like, I swear, because, like, Love island people, I feel like they have a look.
B
They do have a look.
A
They kind of look like the second
B
version of the makeup.
A
They look like the ideal Brooke.
B
They do look like the ideal Brooke. And they, like, have the outfit, vibes. They do this.
A
Yeah. I mean, their bodies are insane.
B
Their bodies are rocking.
A
Yeah.
B
They all have the same. These, like, terminologies. Like, they all say, messy.
A
Yes. The way she moves.
B
Moves. You know, we learned that. What's the other one they've all been using? I don't know. There's another one. Oh, they all say, fine. Which. Yeah, he's fine.
A
That's a good way of describing.
B
Yeah. No, I like when people say, he's fine. Yeah, I like that.
A
It is so funny on the Violin though. Because it like drop the bombshells and you're like, wow, damn. And then they open their mouth and you're, you're like, oh, I am so sorry that I thought that like, you
B
know, you never know.
A
Yeah, some of them I'm like, I just got such second hand embarrassment when the one asked for a kiss. Oh my God. I wanted to. Did you watch?
B
I forgot.
A
Yeah, okay.
B
Yeah, Yeah.
A
I wanted to die for him. I was like, this is he.
B
I was.
A
How awkward.
B
Like, I know. I just. I think he is so cute.
A
You still do. See, for me, I was like, that turned me off to such a level that I was like, oh. Oh, no, no, no.
B
I'm sure if I was like in the moment. See, I'm not like involved actually. I was. I don't know. But yeah, no, it was definitely. He was definitely being very robotic.
A
Yeah, it's just interesting that like, you know, there's like this hot new bombshell and then like, no.
B
Yeah, it's like, hey. Like, he was definitely just like, yay, guys.
A
And you could tell some of them like actually have like great personalities and they're like, oh my God.
B
Yes.
A
And like.
B
But it just depends on the person.
A
Yeah.
B
Oh, what are we gonna get? Like, I don't know.
A
Yeah, you never know. I know I'm deep in Love Island. That's like my super bowl right now.
B
It's like, it's really good.
A
Yeah.
B
Really, really enjoying it.
A
They say that the Knicks being in the playoffs and Love island is like the new Barbenheimer.
B
Ah, yes. Yeah, I know. I was thinking, I was like, there's a Knicks game tonight, but also Love Island. Like, what does one do?
A
Two screens. Like the two screens people did in college. Did you screens in college. No. You didn't do. I didn't do too.
B
Like, I mean, Ryan always does.
A
Yeah, I know. Ben was like, we had four TVs. I'm like, why did you have four TVs? What are you using the four TV guys like loved.
B
It's like we got the hockey and the baseball. Then like the new. I don't even know.
A
He was like, well, we didn't have cable on. All of them was like, what were they used?
B
Yeah, guys and girls are so different.
A
They are very different.
B
That's a whole thing too.
A
But we're just. You're. You're Danny. You're. You're one of the.
B
I'm Danny. I've had to get some beers with the boys after. Are you.
A
Will you get a beer? What will you like? What beer will you order?
B
I have like been sounds so pick me. No, I just, I was about to say it. I was like, I just, I. But I don't know, I just really have been enjoying beer lately.
A
No, that's not. Pick me. That's real. That's, it's.
B
But I, so I like my favorite, favorite favorite right now is Model.
A
Okay.
B
And Blue Moon. Those are my two. Like when I go to a bar, I just look to see if they have that. Yeah, I, I, those are my two and I like Corona, but like Modelo and Blue Moon. Yeah.
A
What do you get when you go like we went to like pre game. I say pregame. Like the concert at like a Green Point brewery. It was lovely. It's called Threes Brewing. Highly recommended. It was gorgeous. Like nice to sit outside and like, you know they had like the counter where you can order and stuff. But I don't drink. I mean I just drink water but because I don't drink, I, they probably had other stuff but I was like, it's hot. I just want to drink water right now. But I'm like, how do people know what to order here?
B
Like I, you know, I used to just say Ryan, like what would I like? But now what I'll ask is if they have a light beer, like a light pilsner, like something light or if they have a sour. You might like, like those usually are like.
A
Yeah.
B
Infused or whatever. But yeah, I just asked for like the lightest one. I'm like, what do the girls get?
A
Like, I know.
B
Because the heavy ones, you like feel them in your.
A
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Brewery tours are really.
B
What did you get? Oh, you got a water.
A
I got a water.
B
Yeah. I actually think you would like some of these beers.
A
Really?
B
Yeah, like not a, not a Bud Light or anything, but something with a little citrusy like twang to it, I think. I don't know. When they're like so cold cuz they. You don't like die. You like carbonation, but you don't die. No. Yeah, always when it comes to like
A
alcohol, like I prefer like lemonade, you know, like that's my. I. Yeah.
B
So maybe. Yeah, just stick to the. Oh, there's a summer shandy. Which yeah. Is like beer lemonade. Yeah.
A
Like drinking that. Yeah, you could do that. That was like OG Claw. Like that was, that existed, I feel like before, like.
B
Well, because it's, I mean it's like
A
a beer but I guess it was
B
kind of in replacement of like that like easy drink. Yeah. I don't know.
A
Hey.
B
Don't say hey. The more you know, the more you know.
A
They didn't have Malibu. They didn't have.
B
They didn't have pink Malibu.
A
No, no. Like, a brewery's tough for a girl like me.
B
Brewery's tough. And I. Well, not that that was your prerogative, but, like, sometimes if it's like, we're going to brew, I'm like, okay, well, I want to, like, get drunk or, like, feel tipsy. Like, I. If I'm drinking a beer, like, it's not because I'm trying to get lit,
A
it's because they were sitting there over the course of hours. Like, you know, so you're, like, drinking beers, like, the whole day.
B
Oh, then my. My stomach.
A
Yeah.
B
It's, like, bloated. Like, I hate when people say that, but, like, yeah, I feel bloated.
A
Yeah.
B
During that point in time.
A
No, I get it. I.
B

A
Yeah. Yeah. Hey, that's like. Because I feel like it's like, when we catch up, I honestly feel like I can't have this. This type of conversation with literally anyone else in my life. Like, the con. The consciousness.
B
Yes.
A
Going. Brain cells signaling to AI. A little smacking. I feel like that's kind of like what it is, in a way.
B
Pretty good job at it.
