Production I feel chill when I'm around
Brooke
you because I'm insane or not.
Danielle
I feel like we're both high right now.
Brooke
I'm not quite luxury. I'm like, guys, I got something new.
Danielle
If Ally next door gets to use it, I'm gonna use it too.
Brooke
My grandfather was Delta360.
Danielle
I come from a long line of Delta360.
Brooke
I feel like I'm being annoying.
Danielle
Red heart says a lot.
Brooke
I look chopped. That's what the kids would say.
Danielle
She is online right now. Wow.
Brooke
Danielle just decided to be bold.
Danielle
Actually they did and they didn't tell me. They probably hate us and I'm obsess best. Hello, I'm going to you dm she said you do not say that.
Brooke
Hey guys, it's Brooke and this is very exciting, but last week I actually got engaged and you guys have been so lovely and supportive like on Instagram and just everywhere. And I love you all so much. Danielle literally crushed her participation in the engagement. I can't wait to tell you guys all the story. And Danielle and I are going to be back together later this week and we're going to record the story to go up on the POD on Friday. So look for that, that's Friday, May 22nd. There's going to be a special bonus episode of the POD where we're going to tell the entire engagement story. How I really got surprised, how I got there wearing white, how my nails are done, all of the tea that you want to know. We recorded this episode before the engagement, but it's Still. Still is a great one. So I hope that you guys enjoy, and we'll see you guys on Friday.
Danielle
Hello, you guys. What's up? Welcome back to Gals in the Go podcast. I'm Danielle.
Brooke
And I'm Brooke. Happy Wednesday.
Danielle
Happy Wednesday.
Brooke
Happy Wednesday.
Danielle
Brooke has, like, a funny.
Brooke
I have a frog in my throat. Like, I do. I feel like. Is that what post nasal drip is like, when you feel like you have to keep clearing your throat?
Danielle
Yeah. And it is, like, allergy vibes. Because that happened to me a few weeks ago, and I'm clearing my throat today, too.
Brooke
I think it's. I'm gonna blame it on that.
Danielle
No, I feel like I blame it on allergies. Oh.
Brooke
I was gonna say it's not the alcohol. It's definitely.
Danielle
Definitely not the alcohol.
Brooke
Definitely the allergies. I just feel like I constantly. Like, I hate that feeling of having to clear your throat. Like, it feel. You know, I'm like, oh, I have to say something.
Danielle
Yeah. Or like, if someone tries to talk when they have a throat bubble happening and they just, like, keep trying to push through and, like, just clear your throat, and then you can continue. Continue talking. But you just sound like the chill older sister right now.
Brooke
Yeah. Like, I just don't even care. Like, yeah, yeah. So chill. Like, whatever. Ye.
Danielle
To start podcasting. Brook goes. You ready?
Brooke
Yeah, ready. I just feel really chill today. No, not really. I would never describe myself as chill. Would you ever?
Danielle
No, not at all. You are not chill.
Brooke
No. Would you describe yourself as chill? More chill, like.
Danielle
No, but I think one of the reasons our friendship works is because I'm. I feel chill when I'm around you because I'm insane.
Brooke
So you feel less insane.
Danielle
Because in my life, in my relationships, I'm like, the, like, insane person, and we're insane together, but sometimes I'm like, I'll let Brooke take this.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
Because usually it's me and my friends.
Brooke
I get that.
Danielle
My other friendships.
Brooke
You. You have other friends?
Danielle
Same.
Brooke
So do you. Yeah, I do have other friends, but
Danielle
specifically with our friendship, I sometimes, you know, we go back and forth, you know?
Brooke
Yeah. No, that makes sense. Yeah.
Danielle
So how are you?
Brooke
That makes sense. I'm doing well. How are you? I'm doing swell. This month is flying by. Holy. Like, time is flying.
Danielle
Why do I feel like we're not. But I feel like we're both high right now.
Brooke
No, I do feel like I'm high.
Danielle
I feel weir.
Brooke
Like, I feel like I'm like, what day is it? Yeah.
Danielle
Yeah. No, that's like, how I've been feeling recently as well. Like. Like, in a good. Like, literally so many good things have been happening to us, and we've been getting to do the coolest things and just travel and just be around awesome people. But when I think about my schedule recently, I'm like, I actually don't know how I'm here and you're you the same.
Brooke
Yeah. I just feel like I get settled for a second, and then I, like, have to go again, you know? But it's gonna chill out. I just have a wedding every weekend, and you don't realize that the weddings really take it out of you. Because if you're on for wedding weekend, like, if I'm fun Brooke at a wedding weekend, like, forget it. That I need, like, three days of recovery. Like, that's.
Danielle
You're.
Brooke
You know.
Danielle
So, like, when we're at events, Brooke is so on. I mean, we're both on. But you, like, you power through. You don't look at your phone. You don't. You don't. She never has to pee, so she's like, yeah, I thankfully, at least have to pee. So I get these little social battery charging moments, but I don't think you do.
Brooke
No. I, like, don't leave the dance floor. Like, I. I literally leave the dance floor to eat dessert for two seconds. And, like, in that time, it's like.
Danielle
It's like, where's bro?
Brooke
Yeah, no missed on the dance floor. I'm tearing up that dance floor. But I feel like you're busy with, like, just travels. Like, I mean, what. What is your status right now?
Danielle
Status is traveling a lot still. I mean, I'm like, no.
Brooke
Are you on Delta diamond stuff? Oh. Oh, your current status.
Danielle
Oh, you know, let's find out if I've hit Diamond yet. I mean, I'm already at Platinum. Are you at Platinum yet for next year? Yeah. So let me just see. But no, Delta and I are best friends. I mean, I change flights all the time. Like, I keep. Wow. Current stat. Oh, I. I have hit diamond for.
Brooke
She's hit Diamond.
Danielle
Wow. That's only.
Brooke
Wow. You know what? My goal is to be a Delta360 member. There's only, like, 2,000 of them.
Danielle
Isn't that, like, invite only?
Brooke
Yes, very. I know.
Danielle
And why do they invite you?
Brooke
It just is fitting for us. I feel. No gals.
Danielle
I know why they should invite us, but.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
So interesting.
Brooke
I don't know how they pick. Whenever there's those, like, exclusive tier programs, I'm just like, is it it's like Nepo, baby, like, passed down.
Danielle
I don't know.
Brooke
It's like, my grandfather was Delta 360s.
Danielle
I come from a long line of Delta 360s. And. Yeah, but if you're like a Nepo, honestly, maybe, yeah, we can start the. You know, we can be the new. The new.
Brooke
The new era. New money.
Danielle
The new money. We're a new money family.
Brooke
We are so new money.
Danielle
We are. We are like, so new money.
Brooke
We're like. And we're not even, like, really, really new money, just for the record. But, like, if people were like, oh, like, yes, those two just came into wealth.
Danielle
Yes, yes, they do make some. Like, yes. Have the logos. We will do all the things.
Brooke
Like, yeah, no, I like the most stereotypical definition. Like, I am not quiet luxury. Silent wealth. Like, I'm like, loud. Like, guys, I got something new. Like. Yeah.
Danielle
And, you know, the first time I ever learned that term was in college because there was, like, old row and neuro and, like, sororities and stuff. And I never understood that. And I feel like it is kind of new money, old money.
Brooke
Yeah, I. I get that. I would rather be a new money, though, because, like, hey, it's like, more fun. Yeah.
Danielle
We built ourselves.
Brooke
No, like, no, no, no. And I know what it's like to be.
Danielle
No, yeah, I know. I know what it's like, you know?
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
Fun.
Brooke
No, new money's fun.
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke
It's not even new money. It's just.
Danielle
But no, I know what you mean.
Brooke
I've been exposed to a lot more, like, quote, like, Nepo babies recently. Like, people who, like, you know, their parents still pay their rent up. And I'm not judging if that's your situation. I'm quite frankly jealous because, like, yeah, we're just bitter. No, it was like, you're out, like, you know, pay for everything yourself. And it is truly. And I just read this book, the Strangers book, and they're so rich in this everywhere. So, so rich. And it's just like, I. You. I can't even imagine, like, thinking that way and just being like, yeah, I'll just transfer the money. Like, yeah, we just bought this vacation. I was like, willy nilly. Like, not like, just casually, you know.
Danielle
So it's not a fiction book.
Brooke
It's a memoir. It's a real, real book.
Danielle
Wow. Everyone's talking about it like, you would like it.
Brooke
I think maybe. Actually, I don't know. It reads like fiction. It's about a woman's.
Danielle
It reads fiction.
Brooke
It's about a Woman's divorce. But it's like kind of like psychological thriller esque vibes. It's like uncovering who the man was, sort of.
Danielle
Wow, that's interesting. Yeah.
Brooke
Not that he's like a killer. Yeah. But it's kind of like that. It's like, how could I marry this person who is now like a stranger? Like, it's.
Danielle
Are you assuming any content right now?
Brooke
I'm reading. That's what I'm reading. Well, I just read Strangers.
Danielle
Yeah. Yeah.
Brooke
So I feel I'm either watching TV or reading. Do you feel that way too?
Danielle
Yeah, I guess I'm just doing neither right now. Like, I feel like I, I am watching Summer House right now. I am doing that.
Brooke
Oh, I keep up with. Yeah, I've been keeping up with and Rhode Island Housewives.
Danielle
Oh, I started it because you told me to. Someone told me to.
Brooke
They're nuts. They're nuts.
Danielle
They are. I just didn't know people from Rhode island had an accent.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
Do they?
Brooke
Yeah. It's so funny. No, they do. They have like a Boston, like sort of like Rhode Island. Yeah.
Danielle
I love like Rhode island as the backdrop. Like I do.
Brooke
No, I, I, I love it. And they're crazy. Like, the one girl, like, she's like, they tell Rula. They're like, yo, your husband's cheating on you. Your husband's cheating on you. Like relentlessly. And she's just like, I just don't see it. And they're like, we have a photo. Like we're showing. She's like, that's AI.
Danielle
Like, that's funny.
Brooke
She just doesn't care. Like. And it's like, okay, then I'm just gonna stop showing you. I think.
Danielle
Speaking of AI, I got got bad by my high school Spanish teacher. She posted on Instagram at the Met gala. And my mom sent it to me, goes, look Senora blah blah at the Met gal. And I was like, holy cuz she does have this like random lore of like a famous person. And I was like, wow, I'm sending it to my friends. And then I go, wait, the carpet was not red this year. Oh, that's so funny. And then I scrolled and it said like, haha wasn't actually, but we should put ourselves at the Met gala.
Brooke
Oh, that's funny. I haven't used AI for images in a while, like to do those. Because I was doing those pranks for a little bit.
Danielle
Yeah. Because I think like, it depends on like the platform that you utilize. And ChatGPT, like, doesn't really do Good photos. I feel like I've fully switched to
Brooke
Claude, by the way. I, like, wasn't really, like, I feel like I wasn't using AI to its full potential. I'm still not like, I'm not gonna lie. Like, I, I still Google most things. Like if I have a question, I go Google.
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke
But I feel like I switched to Claude to help me with like business related things and I really like it. No, not an ad. I. And I know people are gonna be like, hey, I hate you guys. But like, I, I really, it helps sometimes. I'm sorry, I'm sorry.
Danielle
Here's the thing with AI. If Sally next door gets to use it, I'm gonna use it too. Hey, like, I'm sorry. Hey, like, I'm sorry. That's not fair.
Brooke
If the kid in seventh grade down the block is using it, I think that we get to for his math homework, then I think we could use it this, you know?
Danielle
Yes, I think so. And it like, if we all collectively decided to stop using it. Okay. But no, there's going to be people doing it, so we should utilize it to our full potential.
Brooke
I think that that's like the message now that people are going with. They're like, if you aren't using it,
Danielle
like, you're just gonna be like you're behind.
Brooke
Yeah. Like, you might as well just get with the times.
Danielle
Yeah. It helps like lighten your workload a little bit or allow you to use your time for better.
Brooke
I, I'm not even like, I, I feel like I need like a crash course on like how to use it more efficiently if I really want to.
Danielle
Yeah. I feel like CHAT knows everything about me. Not everything, but like a lot of things that I would need help with. Like, I don't know, I just would have to like retell it everything.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
Claude. I mean.
Brooke
Yeah. I don't even know why I switched. I feel like just. I heard it was better. I was like, all right, I'll just switch.
Danielle
No, everyone I know is switching to Claude. You're not the only one. Hey, you're not. But you know, you're not like the other girls.
Brooke
I'm not? No, I'm like really, like, different and like crazier.
Danielle
Like. So are you done with your wedding guestant?
Brooke
I think no. When this goes up, I have another one this weekend. But like, not. I don't have to sleep there. It's nice when you don't have to sleep like at a hotel, honestly, getting ready in like a raggedy hotel. I'm going to be honest, like, I feel ugly. I'm. I show up to the wedding, I'm ugly. Like, if I'm. I feel like I'm being annoying. This episode, like, we're just going to be annoying. I'm being annoying when I'm, like, getting ready at, like, a random ass, like, off the highway hotel that, like, you know, because it's like, a really remote wedding venue. I don't have my things. I don't have my mirror. I don't have, like, I look crusty. I go to that. I look chopped. That's what the kids would say. I go to the wedding and I look chopped.
Danielle
I look unknown.
Brooke
No.
Danielle
Well, keep that in mind then, because we're going to Bridget Mitch's wedding and I booked the hotel first, so Brooke was like, just let me know what you picked. I picked a more expensive one because of the bathrooms. Because I literally said to Ryan, I was like, I want a nice bathroom because that's going to be like a content wedding. Like, I know we're going to be, like, in stuff. So I was like, I want to look good, so I want good bathroom. So when you see the bright slate, don't be mad at me. No, it wasn't the most expensive.
Brooke
Getting a phone call. You've been getting a lot of phone calls today.
Danielle
And you know what? My phone's on do not disturb.
Brooke
So do you have it that, like, the people could break through? I think I have it that way
Danielle
I have my dad can break through and no one else. And somehow my brother has figured. Boy, Freddie boy. I don't ever call him that. I have no idea.
Brooke
It sounds like it's like he's not a boy. Like Freddy boy.
Danielle
Freddy boy. He's probably calling to ask me about something that we're doing that's fun. So.
Brooke
Yeah, that's really fun.
Danielle
Yeah. See, I no longer. I used to get pits when my brother would call me like, something's wrong. And I'm like, no, nothing's wrong. Everything's okay.
Brooke
Yeah. I was like, do you have to answer that?
Danielle
Like, yeah, I guess I should, like, double check.
Brooke
Yeah, no, you're fine to. To double check. I completely agree. The getting ready vibe is really important to me for these weddings because I do treat it like getting ready for the Met Gala. Like some of these weddings, I'm like, especially when, you know, I. I just went to a series of weddings of college friends that were getting married and I was seeing some old characters in my lives, you know, people that I was making out at the bar with. In college. Like, I was like, not that it. But I don't. I don't want to show up and be like, that's Brook Micio, the girl who. She looks like that now. Like, I need to show up and be broke. Mitchell. Like, wow, she looks hot. Like, you know.
Danielle
No, of course. I mean, when you're around college people, like, I. There's nothing better than someone saying, oh, my God, you look great.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
Like, I'm sorry.
Brooke
That's what I'm saying. Like, I want to take my. Like, I take my time getting ready. My friends will be like, I only need an hour and a half. I'm like, no, give me three. Give me three hours. I want to leisurely get ready. I want to be able to, like, you know, not be rushed. I want to, like, maybe enjoy a drink while I get ready. Why not?
Danielle
You have really inspired me in that way. You're like, I like leisurely. Time to get ready. I want to feel really, really good.
Brooke
I feel like my best when I'm, like, not rushed to do my makeup and stuff. That's just so.
Danielle
So then in theory. Oh, no. But you're staying, like, one night at a hotel because I was like, wouldn't you like getting ready at home and then being able to go to the wedding during the day?
Brooke
I feel like most of the time I've been having to do two nights because it's the welcome party. But, like, this one that I'm doing, I'm doing one that's like Airbnb, so I guess. Oh, yeah. Those are hard, too. Yeah, I know. I'm just gonna.
Danielle
Look, jobs. Yeah, we're just gonna be in a job. I'm just. I'm always gonna go for the hotel over the Airbnb, because a lot of the times, unless you're splitting it with a ton of people, it's still a lot of money. And you gotta do so much work the next day when you're checking out. And if I'm only there for a quick weekend.
Brooke
I know, I know. I. I agree. Like, to me, I go. I leave my house so that I don't have to take out the trash. Like, you know, like, I'm not, like, showing up somewhere so that, like, I do have to. Do you need to take a phone?
Danielle
Sorry, no. They just had a little question about the doctor. So I was. But I was texting and talking at the same time.
Brooke
You're such a. You're multitasking.
Danielle
Yep. You know, just managing health care from nyc.
Brooke
You are. You Are.
Danielle
They're like. It's just, you know, because it's a ton of boys trying to figure out how to get on, like, a telehealth call. I'm like, go to this website.
Brooke
So we're doing that with, like, Ben's graduation. There's links involved, you know, like, they're like. And they're like, how. Like, you know, his grandparents. How could I access it? It's like this LinkedIn. I don't. And, like, literally just. Literally just click the link. Literally just click it.
Danielle
Click it. Like, it will do everything for you,
Brooke
you know, because it's like a YouTube, like, live stream link. But I do get it. Like, then I have to have more sympathy for people who, like, are. And I. I actually do. I'm so patient with everybody except for my own mother with, like, teaching her technology. I will sit and teach Ben's parents. I will sit and teach his grandparents. Like, literally, I will teach. Like, I'll be like, oh, my God. Yeah, this is how you post an Instagram whatever. But for some reason, I think I just get so frustrated because I've shown my mom how to post an Instagram story, no joke, maybe 100 times. Like, so, you know, I'm just like,
Danielle
yeah, no, I mean, I'm the same way. I've, like, showed my mom so many times, and then I'm like. But it's the first time she's living life.
Brooke
I know.
Danielle
I see those TikToks and I get all sad and I'm like, I'll text her. I'm like, I'm so sorry. I was rude about that.
Brooke
Like, I just, you know, I. I know what you mean.
Danielle
My mom. I'm sorry, she is online right now. I don't know if she's, like, replying to Tony, your story. I wake up and it's actually really. I mean, she replies to each and every story that's up and, like, a different thing and, like, a question that I have to answer with each thing. She's, like, in flow state right now, which is good. Like, she's really happy right now and, like, really in it.
Brooke
But, okay, she.
Danielle
She's in right now.
Brooke
So in, like, in, like, she's just charged up.
Danielle
Like, Yeah, I don't even, like, perfect example. Ryan goes, look at this text your mom sent me this morning out of the blue. No, nothing. I told her yesterday. She goes, thank you for everything you do for Danielle. Like, and for taking care of her. Have a great week.
Brooke
Like, wow, that is so nice. Oh, she feels really connected you know what I mean?
Danielle
She's, like, charged up.
Brooke
Yeah, she's just, like, filled with gratitude.
Danielle
Filled with graduate. I mean, it's like, so cute and sweet.
Brooke
Oh, that's really sweet.
Danielle
That's just fun.
Brooke
Wow.
Danielle
Yeah. I don't know why that came out.
Brooke
No, that did.
Danielle
Wedding.
Brooke
No, you're talking about moms on Instagram and whatever. Moms on Instagram and, like, teaching them.
Danielle
Yeah, yeah. It's really funny.
Brooke
Patience with, like, teaching people things. Yeah, Yeah.
Danielle
I love when someone's grandma will, like, comment on my photo, thinking it's like, her photo. Yeah. Like, oh, Remy, you look so good. I'm like, this was meant for someone.
Brooke
Yeah, yeah.
Danielle
Like, thank you.
Brooke
I'll tell her.
Danielle
I'll tell Brooke she looks good here.
Brooke
That's really funny. Well, speaking of Remy, you just went on a fabulous trip.
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
Went on a fun show me your moomoo brand trip. And I really am. I have no more brand trips booked. Do you have any brand trips coming up? No. Yep.
Brooke
I think we say that now. And then there's gonna be like, five more yet.
Danielle
There's gonna be one.
Brooke
There's gonna be in a good way. I'm not. I'm open. Yeah.
Danielle
Open for business.
Brooke
Like, honestly. Yeah.
Danielle
They're so fun. So Remy did a collection, and I only laugh because she's just, like, the funniest person. I just. Whenever I think of Remy, like, she's just so funny. As you guys know, Remy Bader came out with a collection with show me your moomoo, which is so exciting because it's like really extended sizing and it's all about actually wedding guests.
Brooke
Yeah. There was some really cute looks. Yeah.
Danielle
It's like being the best dressed wedding guest and it's just like, fun vacation attire. So she got to do a brand trip. She got to pick the place, she got to pick the people. And so I was really flattered, obviously, when she asked me if I wanted to go, because honestly, I think it's because her and I have gone on so many brand trips together now. So we know, like, you know, we just work well together. She's one of those, like, how you and I like the late night, like, giggles.
Brooke
Yeah, yeah.
Danielle
Have to be silly. Whatever. So honestly, when she invited me, I. She just said, like, it's on this island I've always wanted to go to. It's like, so sick. It's gorgeous. She sent, like, a photo and I was like, cool. I hadn't thought about it since. And then the week leading up to it, People were like, oh, where's the trip? And I just kept saying, the Caribbean. The Caribbean. Because it is in the Caribbean. I didn't. I don't think any of us really even. She was like, I thought it was gonna be like a quick two hour flight for people from New York. It was like such a long trip. You have to fly from New York to Barbados and then get on a very, very, very small plane. Smaller than the plane that we did from Nantucket to New York.
Brooke
That's crazy. That's really small because there's no bathroom on that plane. No.
Danielle
There's no baby. There's no plane on or. No, the baby. There's no bathroom on that plane. It was like an hour flight. And honestly, I wasn't that nervous, but some of the girls that were on my flight were, I mean, obviously extremely nervous. But I think if we hadn't done our Nantucket escapade, it would have been a little more. Yeah, I would have been like a little bit more scared. You know, I had my beta blockers if I need. I didn't take them, though.
Brooke
Wow.
Danielle
Yeah. So it's just like a really long travel day to get there. And then once you're on the island. So the island is called Canowan island, not Canoein.
Brooke
Okay.
Danielle
Canaan. Canaan Island. There's a Soho House there. Yes. So that's why we're like, oh, my God, like, this is so cool. So it's a Soho house, a Mandarin Oriental, and then the canoe canal, I cannot say it correctly. Estate, which is where we stayed. Which actually Prince Harry stayed there.
Brooke
Oh, okay. So it's like a really nice place.
Danielle
Yeah. There was a letter that he wrote from, you know, her Majesty, the pleasure. Whatever the heck they say it was on the wall. And it was a beautiful villa. I mean, the views were gorgeous. You drive around the island on a golf cart, you know. You know, I love a golf.
Brooke
Is there like a grocery store and stuff? Oh, you're like, no. You're like in the villa, like. So it's like more like resort vibes.
Danielle
Yeah. Like they have, you know, people that work for the villa and it's very
Brooke
like, they take care of things.
Danielle
They take care of things for you.
Brooke
Like, if you wanted to order room service, could you order room service?
Danielle
No, no, no.
Brooke
So what, what did you do? Like, what do you think we.
Danielle
They would make us. We had like a private chef for. Oh, my God. I'm literally so popular today. I don't know why. I'm getting some calls. We had A private chef who would chef out breakfast and like, certain meals, but then others we'd go. But literally, for example, the island was so there. There are more turtles on this island than humans. Like, it's a fact. Which is crazy. Like, on this island, there were so many turtles. There were literally tur. Squirrels. It was so funny everywhere. And they're so cute and they kind of go faster than I thought. Big turtles are like this medium size, which, like not a big old tortoise, but like.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
You know, not even little normal size. And between the three hotels that they have, they could only fit up to 200 people on a full day on the island. Wow. Yeah. Not people that actually live there, but 200 tourists can be on this island at once, which is not a lot at all. Which they also say this island is where billionaires escape the millionaires. So. And I think it's because it is literally so secluded. But I say all this because literally one night we were supposed to go to one of the three restaurants they called the show me your Mimu team. And they were like, we do not have enough food for you guys. You're gonna have to go to one of the other restaurants. So then they're scrambling poor. You know, they had planned this a while ago. They. They had a really good itinerary. Everything. Yeah, the island just didn't, I think, I swear to God, we were crocking up one of the nights we had ordered or they like just brought out family style. It was not enough food. We were all like. They would bring out a bowl of rice for a table of 10. And this was also just like what the restaurant recommended. It wasn't the show me or Moomoo team. It was like the restaurant was like, we bring one bowl of rice. Everything that would come, we'd be like, can we get two more fries? One bowl of fries for 10 girls. I think they thought we, like, didn't eat or something. We're all like, no, no, we need protein.
Brooke
I love being on a trip where people eat. I was like, I feel nice. I feel safe.
Danielle
I felt so. Oh, my God. We were all like, no, no, we need food. So that was funny. But it was just so gorgeous and like truly so remote and. But it was just so funny because Remy was like, it's so funny. I thought we were just like a two hour, you know.
Brooke
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Danielle
Because she had also toyed with the idea of us going to Cabo, but she was like, ah, that's so far. But really, that would have maybe been
Brooke
Closer, because a direct flight, because it was direct fight.
Danielle
So that. That was so funny. God, we just had so many.
Brooke
But it wasn't worth. Was it worth the planes, trains, and whatever to get there? Like, was it so beautiful?
Danielle
Was it, like, beautiful? And it was just like, as soon as we got there, we were just so relaxed. And Remy did such a good job of, like, curating a group of people that would all get along really well. And, yeah, we just. We just had so much fun. And I'm. I was so grateful to be on that trip, and it was so nice because a lot of these brand trips, it's like, oh, I gotta plan my outfits and, like, yada serve looks. But we didn't have to plan our outfits because we just wore Remy's collection, and it was so cute. So we just wore it, you know?
Brooke
Yeah, that's fun. I mean, you guys are great. The colors look great. Did you all say, like, hey, tonight we're wearing the orange dress? We're like, no. Everything's coming up cotton these days. I'm not even joking. Literally, everyone's talking about 100. Cotton is 100. Like, everyone's saying that they want comfortable cotton clothes. And honestly, I'm starting with comfortable cotton undergarments because that's the thing that's touching my body in all those places.
Danielle
No, my mom, every year for Christmas, she's like, I want 100 cotton underwear. Like, I don't know. It's just a thing. Everyone's making the change, and I think skims is really on the poll because people are including us, or we're now starting to replace a bunch of our underwear, and we wanted to, like, invest in this new. This new cotton phenomenon. Skims just launched a new fabric everyday cotton. And it's perfect. Everyone knows that skims is the expert in comfortable underwear, and I think I'm gonna replace my whole top drawer with this fabric. I literally am wearing them right now, and they're so comfortable, and they're apparently good for you. Like, it's just good.
Brooke
Yeah, they're really comfortable. They're really soft. I feel like I don't feel like, that itchy, scratchy feeling. Like. Like, this is so tame. I. Like, at the end of the day, when you're like, I want to, you know.
Danielle
Yep. Change.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
Like, I don't.
Brooke
Yeah, I really like the. The cotton scoop bra, too. Like, I wear the regular, like, cotton. I wear the skims fits everybody's scoop bralette. But then this is it. That same thing in, like, the cotton fabric. It is to die for. So soft.
Danielle
There is nothing I love more than showering, feeling super clean, and then grabbing my skims. Like anything of the everyday cotton from skims. I'm like, like, oh, this is just, I'm just putting fabulousness onto my body with my cotton underwear. Like, I just, I just feel put
Brooke
together and I also like, feel like I'm part of something. Like, everyone's talking, I'm being so serious. Everyone's like, I love cotton. I feel like the feeling on my body. I'm like, yeah. Like, I wear cotton too.
Danielle

Like, I'm trying to tan, I'm trying to have comfortable chairs. I'm trying to like have it be cute. And thank goodness for Wayfair. Like, oh my God, the patio furniture we had. I was like, this is literally ancient. And so I was like, dad, brother, let's, let's take a look. And me and my brother picked out these really, really nice outdoor chairs.
Brooke
And I'm like, I love it. I love it. I love that the items on wafer, they come fast. Like, you know, no, seriously, you're like, I want to transform this backyard. I don't want to transform it in three months. I want to transform next week.
Danielle
Like, that's so true.
Brooke
Right?
Danielle
I want to do it right now. Like when you get your mind to something.
Brooke
No, I'm like, no. Like, this is getting a full refresh. And I love, I just absolutely love that about Wayfair. I, I love that they have so many different styles. Like, literally, if you just put in their search, like outdoor chairs, like 50, 000 results. Like, yeah, literally stairs, chairs, Chairs for every single style.
Danielle
I'm sure they have stairs too. They've got stairs, ladders that they seriously name it. And Wayfair has it. Like, if you want to go more chic or more coastal or farmhouse, whatever it is, they have it. I feel like hair is a really big topic. Like last week I was on a trip and we were always just like talking about hair and hair growth and like, how is your hair that long? And everyone is just talking about neutrophil right now.
Brooke
Because if you want that feeling where your ponytail suddenly feels a little fuller or when you feel like you don't need extensions, honestly that's a good feeling. When you like get a, you know, grip on your hand, like it's, I don't need extensions because Nutriful's awesome. Like Nutrafol is the number one dermatologist recommended hair growth supplement brand. And it's the number one hair growth supplement brand that's personally used by dermatologists.
Danielle
They these supplements are peer reviewed, they're NSF certified for sport and clinically tested to measure improvements in hair growth, quality and strength. I really genuinely believe that one of the reasons that I'm not wearing hair extensions anymore is because I'm staying consistent with my Nutriful routine. Like so many of my friends are on the Nutrafol. Like, I just feel like it's an amazing thing and it's really easy to add it to your daily routine. You can order online, there's no prescription needed. They also have automated deliveries, which is just so nice. So it just keeps you on track. You're not like, oh shoot, I gotta add like, order my next one.
Brooke
And. And good things take time. Like you're taking those four pills every day. Like, right? Is it four pills? Four. Yes. It's a lot.
Danielle
It's a lot.
Brooke
No, but it's so, but it's so worth it though.
Danielle
Yeah, no, it's worth it. And I just put it in my little supplement box.
Brooke
Every day you take a whole stack
Danielle
so it doesn't even matter for you. It literally doesn't matter. And it's, like, so exciting when you see those results. So let your hair be one less thing to worry about. Brooke
One thing that, like, you and I are both into right now is color. Like, we really are all about. I'm so, like, throw out the neutrals. Like, it's just boring. It's been done before. Like, thank you next.
Danielle
Like, thank you, next. No. I literally had my friend who's an interior designer come over the other day, and I literally said to her, I have a beige apartment. I'm ready to make it some color.
Brooke
Is it sad? It's a little sad. Beige. Like, you need color.
Danielle
Like, I just. I'm like, I could. I like neutral, but I was like, I could use a pop. And that's why I will be checking out Ross.
Brooke
I mean, we've got to introduce the color. We've got to introduce, like, the flowy floral dresses or like, the. The perfect, like, colorful sandals. Because spring isn't just for refreshing your look. It's also for, like, like, setting the vibe. Setting that new vibe. Ross has more of the brands you love at 20 to 60% off other retailers prices. The new looks and new vibes don't have to come with a huge price tag. At Ross, you don't just shop. You work your magic.
Danielle
Actually, they did, and they didn't tell me.
Brooke
I saw. I saw this picture. Yeah, I had that thought. I was like, wow. Danielle just decided to be bold.
Danielle
No. And you know I love match with people. No. What happened was it was the first night, and we had gotten there late, so it was dark. So I was like, I. I'm not even gonna get many photos in it and whatever. And it was. It was. It was my least favorite dress, I'll say. On me. On me. Because it was like, whatever. I don't know. I just. I loved all the outfits. I was like, I have to pick one that I'm not gonna get as many pictures in.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
So I chose the orange one. Now, looking back, it actually was, like, a really, really cute dress, but I just wasn't thinking. So anyways, I wore it the first night Remy comes down and she sees me and she's like, oh my God, you're gonna kill me. But I just, I just now decided, oh, anyone that picked out that dress, we should wear it tomorrow night. I was like, well, I'm already in the dress, so I'll just wear it tonight. So then the next night, like, literally everyone wore the orange dress.
Brooke
You looked great though. I mean, you look great.
Danielle
No, I decided to be different.
Brooke
I like that orange color. It's nice. I love.
Danielle
Oh my God. No, the collection is so freaking cute. Like the two piece set, the. There's, it just like looks good on genuinely everybody, which is what her goal was for it. So I'm really happy for her. And it was doing really well. And you know, we. She had like a bagel in PJs. Pajamas.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
So they've really good pajamas or bagel and coffee pajamas.
Brooke
Yeah, bagel and PJs.
Danielle
Literally. Yeah. And I'll say it again. You know how I always like to keep up the group chats. Honestly, other people have been keeping up the group chat.
Brooke
So, like about like jokes on the trip. Yeah. What?
Danielle
And you know this so well because you and I do this. Like, there is nothing funnier than when you're on your way back from a trip. You're just exhausted, you want to get home and everyone's on the flight. Things happen.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
Each other from your seats and you're like peeing your pants, laughing. Like they were just, just. I can't even think of it. But so many funny things that kept happening.
Brooke
That's really funny.
Danielle
Like, I could think of so many times where you and I were on the plane.
Brooke
Yeah. Yeah.
Danielle
You're just like slap happy.
Brooke
You are. You are.
Danielle
Yeah. But it was, it was fun to like be with Bridget and Danielle like after their bachelorette. After their, their bachelor. They're, they're and like, hear about all that. And honestly, just being with the twins, like, it's so funny. They were literally like we were walking at the airport and I, I, Danielle gets on the, you know, the people movers.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
And Bridget walks next to her and she's like, I'm just gonna keep up with you and walk the same. You know, they're just. When you're a twin, it was so funny. They're just, they're hilarious.
Brooke
That is so, so great.
Danielle
So we were saying we need to do something. All eight of us.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
The boys, Brigitte, Danielle. I mean, it's a. I feel Mitch
Brooke
and Ryan are more similar and then Ben and Lois are.
Danielle
Yeah. Yeah, I guess you see that? Like I said, Yeah, I never thought about that. Are you more of a loser Lewis or a Mitch? Wait, you're so right. And actually, somehow Ben came up and Daniel was like, she or Daniel? I'm sorry, I can't speak. Danielle was like, lewis loves Ben.
Brooke
I was like, yeah, no, he. They. They vibe. Like, you know, I mean, he vibes with like, all of them. I feel like.
Danielle
Yeah, but you're so right. It's like nine and Mitch personality types. Ben and Lewis, you're 100, right? Who would you say who's more of a Bridget and hers?
Brooke
Like, I hate to be like, oh, my God, they have the same personality. Because they don't. They really do not.
Danielle
They, like, do and they don't.
Brooke
But they have the same energy level, which I feel like we vibe with really well. I feel like we. We get along with high energy people. Like, some people, it's too much for them and they're like, whoa, like, that's a lot.
Danielle
So. Right. Like, we can just keep up with that.
Brooke
No, but we get like. I actually prefer to hang out with people. Like, if someone's like, I'm like, laid back, like, we're probably not to going be friends. Like, you know, like.
Danielle
No, I feel like we'll meet people sometimes. We're like, oh, that's just.
Brooke
It's.
Danielle
They're just. They probably hate us because we're just like.
Brooke
But sometimes, like, I do like it sometimes because, I mean, my boyfriend's more chill and I do like it.
Danielle
Like. True.
Brooke
But he gives something. He doesn't give nothing. I mean.
Danielle
No, And Ryan's actually really chill. Like, he's actually really quiet a lot of times. Like, if he's like, in a social setting, he'll yuck it up. But, like, he actually is. Like, when it's just the two of us, it's chill. Like, I'm the more. Yeah, so I know what you mean. It's very important to have both, I
Brooke
think to have both the energies in your life. But I feel like in friends, I prefer the higher energy.
Danielle
Yeah. Because you need to be able to, like, keep up with each other.
Brooke
Yeah. And I want to be, like, inspired to, like, do activity. Like, just do things. Like, I need that energy to, like, pull me out. Like, I feel like that's why, like, you people, like, you and Katie are like, let's like, go do. Like, I need that. I need that higher energy, like, in my life.
Danielle
Can we talk about how you texted the other day wanting to get dinner?
Brooke
Oh, because it was after, like, we saw. We all saw each other. I know. I don't think I've ever done that. I was like, ladies, we should all get together.
Danielle
Brooke started up a group chat the other day and was like, we should all get dinner. I was like, that is so cute. I mean, obviously you do that with me all the time.
Brooke
Like, well, because I wanted to. Like, I was like, oh, I haven't caught up with like Margo alone. And then. Yeah, well, I feel like it would be the group chat. Like, you know, some friends, like, I do hang out with Margot alone. Like, it's not weird, but like, why wouldn't we just all hang out if we're like, we're gonna get dinner?
Danielle
Like, you know what I mean?
Brooke
Like, how do you decide? Like, oh, we need to catch up. Or like the group should.
Danielle
That's something I'm like, constantly. I've like, chilled out. But like, especially when we first moved to New York and like making new friends and stuff of like, like how, like trying to make everyone friends and try to. And then you're like, okay, it's not that deep. But like, I get offended if someone doesn't include me. So like, it's like finding that balance of who goes to what. I know what you mean.
Brooke
But sometimes like one on one, especially with the newer friend, like, for me, I kind of get intimidated. I'm like, to talk about. Yeah, like a buffer. Honestly, I prefer a four person dinner than a two person dinner.
Danielle
Oh my God. There's just so much more to talk about. You don't have to give as much.
Brooke
Yeah, I. I agree. And it's like I'm catching up with all my friends one on one. I will say, like, I've done it a few times with like newer people and I like, I kind of like get anxious.
Danielle
It's a first date.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
Even if you've met them a few times.
Brooke
Yes. I'm like, thanks for meeting me tonight. Yeah.
Danielle
Yeah. And you're just like sitting in front of each other, so vulnerable. No, it's actually a lot. Honestly, if I'm one on one, I'm like, let's go for a walk.
Brooke
That's safe. Because you don't really have to make eye contact.
Danielle
You just keep looking ahead. You can like, look at each other on the stage. I think we're crazy.
Brooke
Walk is a good activity. Or like a coffee or. Or something.
Danielle
Yeah, walking. Especially now that it's getting warmer out. Like, let's go for walks.
Brooke
There's nothing wrong with hanging out with one person. This is all like, in My head things. No, people probably prefer smaller groups. Like, I actually prefer the. The bigger group.
Danielle
Yeah. Oh, my God. There's just more to talk about.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
And like, there's nothing better than if there's three of you and one of you can go non verbal.
Brooke
Yes.
Danielle
Like, sometimes you and Katie will be talking and I'm just like, I'm gonna go on my phone for a second.
Brooke
Yeah. Catch up on my things.
Danielle
Yes. Yes. It's just nice to catch up on your things. And like, like, they're talking.
Brooke
Yeah, I'll let them have their moment.
Danielle
Yeah, let them have their moment.
Brooke
There's the story I haven't told you.
Danielle
What does that shirt say that you're wearing?
Brooke
Oh, this is actually show me your moomoo too. Not an ad. What does it say? A mayor? Is that.
Danielle
I was like, oh, I think that
Brooke
means fish and French. No.
Danielle
I don't know.
Brooke
I have no. Or does it mean ocean? Maybe it means ocean.
Danielle
I don't know. I'm going.
Brooke
I doesn't mean ocean.
Danielle
Oh, it's ocean. Wow.
Brooke
Do not speak French. Yeah.
Danielle
You're good at context clues. You're like, yeah, see, I would have thought it meant fish or something.
Brooke
Well, there's a big fish under it. If you're watching on YouTube, you see this big old fish.
Danielle
Can you believe my Japan trip's coming up, like, really soon?
Brooke
Yeah, I know. You guys, late night Japan planning.
Danielle
Oh, my God.
Brooke
What does that entail? I thought it's planned.
Danielle
It is, but we're working with a travel agent. She's like, absolutely amazing. But for some reason, like, so Ryan, Ryan and Jack. Because me, Katie, Jack and Ryan are going.
Brooke
And.
Danielle
And it's funny, like, the travel agent, she like, sent us the itinerary. It's like Danielle and Katie's Japan itinerary. Just because we've been the ones, of course. And Ryan's like, hello, I'm going too. And like, he has been a part of the planning process. But it's so funny. He was like, you put me in an email chain with her. I'm a CC Jack in this. I'm like, okay, I just didn't think.
Brooke
So they're involved. Yeah, yeah.
Danielle
There's just like this baseball. Well, you know, the baseball game. And Ryan, she like, she's a very bougie travel agent.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
Really nice.
Brooke
So she's like, trying to book you a box. Oh, my God.
Danielle
So he's like, we're looking to go to a blah, blah game. I forget the name of the Japanese baseball team. Whatever. And she was like, okay. I look into, she comes back, she's like, I wasn't able to get any sort of like VIP package. Like, you know, maybe if you find something yourself. And Ryan's like, wait, there's literally a game on this night. I was like, maybe just book it. I think she thinks it. Yeah, she thinks like a box or something.
Brooke
Like. Yeah, like full like limo experience or something. Pulling up to it.
Danielle
Yeah. But so Jack and Ryan are gonna go to a baseball game and me and Katie are gonna go shopping.
Brooke
Oh, you're not gonna go to the game?
Danielle
No, I don't want to go to the game. Oh, that'll be our one time where we're, you know, not together. I was just, I said, katie, if you want to go to the game, like we can, but we're not there as long of time. I have a. Katie and I have been sending each other, so I'm literally bringing in MD Sukis. Did you.
Brooke
I brought like a half empty one and I ended up like, you know, needing to do the expander and like whatever.
Danielle
Right.
Brooke
But it all fit.
Danielle
Yeah. And you could worst comes to worse, you buy.
Brooke
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Danielle
Cheap.
Brooke
Like there's one thing I'm gonna have you bring back for Ben. He, he likes these like strawberry chocolate like candy things and he was trying to find them online and he was like, they just don't sell them here.
Danielle
Yes. And watcha. I, I'm gonna take my orders.
Brooke
Yeah, yeah. Take your requests from people.
Danielle
I'm gonna bring like basically an empty suitcase. I guess I should put something in it so they're not like this way's nothing. I don't know how that works.
Brooke
People put a suitcase in a suitcase. I noticed for traveling I don't do that.
Danielle
I don't know how that would work
Brooke
cuz like they would have two different sizes.
Danielle
Yeah, well, no, of course.
Brooke
But I know you have to fill it up. Like it's hard.
Danielle
Yeah, fill her up, Fill her up.
Brooke
That's going to be so fun. So you have that trip coming up and then you have.
Danielle
I'm getting really excited about that. Going to like a family reunion for Ryan in Wisconsin.
Brooke
You guys like, and your family reunions in like rogue places West.
Danielle
Family reunion. I, I straight up, it was asking Ryan's mom this past weekend. I was like, so what do I need to bring on this trip? Like, you know, like what type of
Brooke
clothes are you staying in? A house.
Danielle
Yeah, we're staying in a house. And so cute. She was like, you guys should take the Biggest room. I was like, I really feel like
Brooke
they think I'm like, oh, my. As opposed to them.
Danielle
Yes. I was like, why? I found out why. Because the pool table is in that room. There's like, a pool table in this base?
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
It's not like, this big. Okay. But she was like, you guys should take the biggest room. I was like, wait, we don't.
Brooke
Yeah, it's okay. It's okay.
Danielle
I don't know.
IQ Bar Advertiser
She's like.
Danielle
She's just so sweet.
Brooke
Oh, that's so nice.
Danielle
The best for us. It's so nice. But, yeah, so there's like a boat day, and there's like a. There's all kind. There's like a. Oh, I'm really excited about this. They're doing, like, a golf. The boys are doing a golf tournament. She said, we're, like, going. I was like, oh, perfect. We can, like, get all dressed up and dress and drive the golf carts. I've always wanted to do that and, like, watch them play golf. But I don't have to play golf.
Brooke
I'm obsessed with beverage Car girls on Tick Tock.
Danielle
I need them back on my feed.
Brooke
I just got a new one. And she gives, like, recipes, kind of, like, things that I would never make. It's like, you know, this is like the floating blue. Blah, blah, blah. Like, and it's like two shots of vodka, blue Gatorade, Sprite.
Danielle
Like, that sounds so good right now.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
So refreshing.
Brooke
Yeah, I think it was called, like, Blue Ocean or something. Yeah, I'll get the La Mer. I love those. They're so, like, satisfying to me. That. And like, there's some videos that, like. Like, I feel like, honestly, like, how am I? Like, not that I'm like a crazy, anxious person, but, like, sometimes, like, when I'm just like, I want, like, soothing videos, like, golf cart videos, cleaning videos, Operation Nikki. I am obsessed with, like, Long island mom videos. There's this Long island mom who.
Danielle
That's your future.
Brooke
No, but she's like, real long. Long is like the thick accent. She's like. There's this one. She goes. Every Wednesday, I let my kids pick where we get our meal from. And today we went to, like, like, Del Ciels or whatever. And she's like, I got the 40 meal deal. And she, like, shows her haul. I'm obsessed. Like, I don't know why she's so calming.
Danielle
Like, that is really awesome.
Brooke
You know, like, niche communities.
Danielle
I do love a niche community. I definitely have a few that, of course, there's, like, random girls that live in Florida and just live a very relaxed life. And I just. I don't even know their names, but
Brooke
it's like you're coming, following them along. Yes. So sweet. So sweet.
Danielle
Oh, my gosh.
Brooke
Exciting.
Danielle
That just like, came in my head.
Brooke
I was just thinking of, like, because I was reading some of the comments and people were like, I had a feeling. And I'm like, please don't say. Or like, I knew it. Like, if someone said that to me, I would be like, oh, my. Like, people, you have been glowing. Which I know it is a compliment. Yeah. Also, like, are you analyzing the body like, that much? Like, what does that mean?
Danielle
Like, you know, so not here for that. Yeah. It's so hard to control your inner thoughts. I suppose.
Brooke
I know.
Danielle
It's a crazy thing. I'm like, are you just like, constantly
Brooke
or people will say, well, people say, you know, you're glowing, confident now. I'm like, oh, my God, am I my.
Danielle
I'll tell a story.
Brooke
I often resort back to, like, a time in my life when I was like, very stressed about, like, getting my finances in order very quickly, which is when I was purchasing my condo. And honestly, something that like, really genuinely made me feel stressed and just like, felt like I had, like, more control over my whole situation because I knew what was actually going on in all of my accounts was Rocket Money.
Danielle

It literally has saved users over $880 million in canceled subscription.
Brooke
Yeah, I love. I love that feature of it. I also just love when people talk about budgeting and stuff. Like, I'm not doing an Excel strategy. Like, I'm just not doing that. Yeah, but Rocket Money categorizes all of your spending for you. You can link all of your accounts. I have all my different banks linked. You know, I got the gals on the go account on there. Like, it's all on Rocket Money. So I know exactly what's going on. You know, you don't have to be surprised, like, oh, my God, I'm paying for Hulu twice or something. Like, because everything's listed out.
Danielle
Yeah. And you'd be surprised what you might be paying for twice or whatever it is. Or it's like, hey, you got paid today. Money entered your account. I love those email.
Brooke
That's a good email.
Danielle
That is a good. I'm like, thank you, Rocket Money. Or, you know, uncategorized, something happened today or whatever. I just. I really, really like it. It can. I mean, we all know I love to throw on some Drake, take my time doing my hair and makeup, and enjoy that. Oh, my gosh, that perfect pregame drink.
Brooke
Yes. I feel like the perfect pregame truly sets the tone for the night. And what better way to set the tone than with Malibu Pink. It's truly the best summer get ready with me drink. It's vibrant, it's bold, it's got fun new fruity flavors of guava, pineapple, and coconut.
Danielle
No, I already know Malibu Pink will be coming with us on all of our girls trips this summer. It's perfect for the girls like us, me, who like to take shots. But if you're not one for shots, it also pairs perfectly with a lemonade for a cute and easy cocktail moment. I feel like I would do the shot. You would do, like, the cocktail.
Brooke
Yeah. I'm definitely gonna be sipping it as a mixed drink, but while I get ready, also, it's. It's like this gorgeous, vibrant pink color. Can we talk about it? You guys know that's my favorite color and scream summer.
Danielle
And with rooftop season here, you guys. I know. You know, we all know Brooke really wants me to throw a rooftop party at my apartment. Call back to a few episodes ago. Malibu Pink will be there as my get ready with me hype up drink.

Brooke
Like, I'm realizing that, like, since you spend so much of your life in your bed, like, you spend a lot of time, like resting your head on your pillow and like, you know, like
Danielle
the products and like your skin.
Brooke
Your skin. Oh, my gosh. The products and the things that are touching your skin, your hair. Like, like essentially your pillowcase. For me, my sleep mask. Because I sleep with the sleep mask every single night. Like, the material matters.
Danielle
The material matters. And I recently decided I want to, like, really take care of my skin. And my dermatologist said to try silk. It's very cooling, it's gentle, and it just like, it's just so good for your skin and it's good for your hair. Like, your hair just like, looks better the next day. I'm realizing, like, a blowout looks really nice. I just didn't realize a pillowcase could help with anti aging and hydration until I tried Blissey.
Brooke
We love Blissey. I. I feel like Mads always tells me to use silk things. Like, you gotta use silk because it's natural and like, it just helps like, reduce your frizz and your breakage and stuff. And Blissey is just so great because they have over 100 colors. They've got like really cool collabs. They've got like a Zodiac collection. It's a gift that, it's the gift that keeps on giving because you're giving it, like to someone they're gonna use every night and think of you. That sounds romantic, but, like, you could
Danielle
always lay their head at night. No. And it's just, just again, like it's cooling. It's like this naturally cooling, breathable, hypoallergenic. People love something that's hypoallergenic. Dermatologist tested and it's recommended and fully machine washable.
Brooke
Wash a lot.
Danielle
Yeah. Oh, I'm sure you have to. And because you guys are a listener, Blissey is offering 60 nights risk free, plus an additional 30 off when you shop at blissey.com galsonthego that's B-L-I-S-S-Y.com galsonthego and use code gals on the go to get an additional 30 off your skin and hair. Will. Thank you. It literally, like, was crazy. My mom. My mom all of a sudden is deciding she really wants to be a grandma. Oh yeah. She is full on.
Brooke
Like, where did this come from?
Danielle
I have no. I mean, of course, like, she can't wait, but all of a sudden she really can't wait. And I'm like, I'm literally not even engaged. Like, this is. Yeah, so far.
Brooke
Why? Because she probably has been like with people that have grandkids and she just is like, okay.
Danielle
I literally do not know. And. But then I. So she's been saying so much stuff about that recently. And then I couldn't believe it. I saw this reel and it was a daughter telling her mom that she was pregnant. The mom was just absolutely freaking out. It was the cutest thing. So I sent it to my mom. I was like, this is gonna be you. Or I was like, this is you.
Brooke
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Danielle
And she literally goes, I was on the Remy trip. She goes, oh my God. Is this you like telling me something? Like, I did notice your breasts are looking fuller.
Brooke
No, that via dm.
Danielle
She said this was last week.
Brooke
I think your mom is on some crack or something. Like, based on you're saying she's replying every story. That's a crazy thing to say. I love you, peaceful Michelle. That's insane.
Danielle
I literally go, I need to like, find. I literally. Mom, you do not say that. And then she like, she backtracked. But I was like, you. You literally, you.
Brooke
You're trying to soft launch the concept of getting pregnant without being engaged. That's what she thinks.
Danielle
So I sent it to her. She goes, I mean, are you telling me something? I thought your breasts are looking a little fuller in this trip. I go, omg. No, I'm kidding. She goes, hence the fullness. I go, then that was really it. And oh. She goes, I know. That's extreme. Lol. You know me and my adjectives. I'm like, mom, you're lucky. Like, my mom's not one to like comment on bodies like literally ever. So when she said that, she was like, no, I cuz I think you're probably like engaged her.
Brooke
Yeah, she thought that you were like
Danielle
being like, she wants to be Mimi. That's what she wants to be called, Mimi. She's ready to be Mimi.
Brooke
That's crazy. I mean, I didn't realize that your mom was one of those like, Some people are like. You can really tell, like, when their moms are like that because, you know, they're like, I'm right. Ready for me some grandkids.
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke
I can't wait to have some more people running around here. Like. And she's never.
Danielle
Yeah, that does. Your mom ever.
Brooke
No, she's like, brooke couldn't wait. Brooke needs more time. Let her cook. Yeah.
Danielle
No, I. I am literally. I don't know what my mom. My mom's. You know what it is. Honestly, we've just had so much going on. She's finally coming to herself. But, I mean, I'm saying it because I've said it to her. I'm like, mom, whoa.
Brooke
No, that's. Joy.
Danielle
We're really happy right now.
Brooke
I really am at, like. And I know it's so cliche, like, the phase of life where it's like, every day there's like. But I'm not even being dramatic every single day on my Instagram, of the 1500 people I follow, which maybe that's a lot, there's either an engagement, a pregnancy announcement, or, like, a we bought a house, slash, we're moving. There's one of those three every single day.
Danielle
Big three.
Brooke
Yep. No.
Danielle
And I feel like every day I'm commenting, like, congrats.
Brooke
There's no more congrats. Like, honestly, at this point, I just.
Danielle
I comment. Omg. I don't know what to say.
Brooke
That's good. That's good.
Danielle
Like, Or. You should be so proud.
Brooke
I know. And sometimes I start overthinking my comment. I'm like, I've met this person, like, twice. They probably think I'm a weirdo to be, like, all caps. Like, congrats to you both.
Danielle
Like, they probably so happy guys. Love you guys.
Brooke
Love you guys. Never met the one, like, the guy or whatever it is.
Danielle
I ever see you comment down on someone, I would literally check in on you.
Brooke
Yeah. Is everything okay?
Danielle
Love you guys.
Brooke
I think I'm just running out of phrases. I say congrats to you both lot.
Danielle
Well, then I, like, get you. I'm sure you, too. They say you're not supposed to say congrats when someone gets engaged, but I literally say it every time. So then I'm, like, so happy.
Brooke
So happy for you both.
Danielle
Or. And then the pregnancy. I'm like, can I not say congratulations?
Brooke
Yeah. Yeah.
Danielle
The etiquette. I don't. I think that it gets out the door.
Brooke
No, I think it is, too. I mean, I think that it's just, like, if you comment anything like, it's like, showing support, right? Like, I mean, yeah, it's like just being. Or even, like, hard hearts. Like, being like, yay, Hope with hearts.
Danielle
Do you ever overthink your hearts? I'm like, oh, red hearts is a lot. Like, I should switch to white hearts.
Brooke
No, I don't overthink that. I definitely overthink my comments sometimes and be like, it's giving. Like, I want to be your friend. Like, you know, like, I feel like I'm trying too hard and being like, yeah, again, it's like, oof.
Danielle
Brooke commented, like, you know, or sometimes someone gets engaged or whatever. And I'm just commenting because I'm. It's someone I know, and I. I just want them to know I'm happy for them.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
I'm like, oh. I don't want them to think, like, I expected to be invited or anything.
Brooke
Oh, like, that's. That's reasonable.
Danielle
Because some people, as soon as someone gets engaged, I notice they're in there. And I've done it, too.
Brooke
Yeah. I. I mean, I guess I've done it too, but now after going to all these weddings, I'm like, I'm going to do the opposite. Like, maybe I just won't comment. Congrats. We'll see what happens.
Danielle
Right?
Brooke
Like, I'm like, love will be the real test.
Danielle
Yeah. No engagement gift. Like, no flowers.
Brooke
No, no.
Danielle
There have been a few people you and I have, like, sent flowers to and, like, didn't get invited.
Brooke
To be fair, we didn't know at the time. Like, this was a few years ago. I feel like we didn't know the etiquette at the time, but we did send.
Danielle
Wait, what do you mean? No, no.
Brooke
Like, we did the most. Like, we did too much. Yeah.
Danielle
Like, you know what I'm saying? Like, you're so right.
Brooke
A few years ago, when we weren't, like, really regularly going to weddings, we were like, oh, my God, they got engaged. We have to send them a gift. Like, we. We have hung out with them, like, three times. Like, we don't have to send them a gift, you know?
Danielle
No, totally. And I'm still trying to figure out the.
Brooke
The etiquette of.
Danielle
Of the etiquette of literally all of that.
Brooke
Yeah. And I think it depends. It's like, so person to person dependent. Like, I feel like that's the same amount with the amount that you, like, give people, like, wedding gifts and people. I see people say, like, hard and fast rules, and then people, like, really get, like, you know, in the comments, like, upright I'm like, it literally depends person to person, like, your friendship, your financial status. Like, I feel like it varies. Like, there's no blanket if it's.
Danielle
You know, you both know them really well if. If it's the destination wedding. But then they say if it's a destination, you shouldn't give so much money because you're spending so much. But also, every wedding I go to recently is destination for me.
Brooke
I know. You're so right. Yeah.
Danielle
And for you. Except for the few, like, Long island
Brooke
ones, I guess, or, like, partially upstate if it's like upstate that, like, right there. Like, not sleep that. Yeah. You know.
Danielle
You get it. Yeah. I'm still like, I'm ready to go to some weddings. Like, I haven't.
Brooke
Oh, you've got it in you. So you got a few more. If you see Danielle Compton, congrats. Just know she. Yeah. You're like, what's your address? Btw, want to send you a little something.
Danielle
I want to send you a little something. I. I got something with your name right on it.
Brooke
I do, like, a big buy muster, like, something like that to just be like, oh, my God, yay. Like, fun. Like, I really do. Like, I think that is fun.
Danielle
No, literally, always sending. We sent Edible Arrangements the other day to someone.
Brooke
Yeah, I know. We.
Danielle
We be sending things to people.
Brooke
I. That's what I'm saying. On that note, I think we need to send.
Danielle
No, I had this thought literally last week. I was like, I am, like, breaking the bank, like, sending all these things to people. And I'm like, did they send me anything? Like, I don't.
Brooke
Yeah. And I. You know, then my mom would say, brooke, you don't send just to be sent. But it's more so just like, am I doing too much? Like, am I like, are they, like, another broken. Daniel sent me flowers again. Like, you know.
Danielle
No. Ryan actually made the point about this the other day. He was like, you're just like, that's your love language.
Brooke
You are.
Danielle
And you too, though. Like, I wasn't talking about us. I was talking about something else. And so. But I think he would agree. For you too. Like, I think we were talking about this earlier. Like, our families, we grew up, like, big gift. Like, it's just what we do. So it's like, even if we don't get it back, that's just like, what we assume you do.
Brooke
You're so big gift culture. Huge.
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke
For anything. Like, and it doesn't have to be like, a diamond, like, necklace. Like, it's not Necessarily like that, but
Danielle
it would just be like an acknowledgment of something is, like a gift.
Brooke
Yes, yes. Even, like, toys, trinkets. Like, I feel like it would be like the last day of school and I would, like, get a gift, like. Yeah, like, literally for anything.
Danielle
Like, congrats.
Brooke
Yeah, congrats. You know, War.
Danielle
Yeah. We didn't get awards growing up, but we did get little gifts every now.
Brooke
Okay, maybe now we can get awards. I don't know, maybe.
Danielle
Maybe gals on the go could get, like a podcasting award. That would be fun.
Brooke
Do you, like, normal, like, people, like, dated, like, has Ryan, like, won an award, though? Like, that's the thing I think about, like, like, people in, like, normal nine to five jobs are like, whatever. He works more than that. But you know what I mean?
Danielle
Like, I don't know.
Brooke
Is he, like, getting awards? Like, Like, I think they don't really do that.
Danielle
Yeah, no, no, but Ben's getting awards.
Brooke
But that's like a season school.
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke
I guess maybe when you're like, you
Danielle
do get awards and work sometimes, like, I don't know that Ryan has, I
Brooke
think, like, mega, like, big corporations. They do that. Like, I feel like at the accounting firms and stuff, it's like, oh, like, you got.
Danielle
You get like a trip or like. Or like a night out. Yeah, like something or other.
Brooke
A night out on the company.
Danielle
I. I met Ryan's co workers for the first time.
Brooke
Oh, yeah.
Danielle
That was a big. It's so funny. I made a tick tock, like, last minute, and people were really invested because I was like, I don't know what the other girlfriends of these co workers are wearing. Like, I was really, really stressed. Thank God. Ryan. We were literally going to a barbecue on Long island, and Ryan wanted me to wear the barbecue table. He was like, you should wear this gingham red dress, which is so cute. But I was like, to meet all. Yeah, yeah, right. Yeah, right. So then he goes, oh, do you
Brooke
want me to ask blah, blah, what
Danielle
his girlfriend is wearing? I said, yes, actually, that would be great. But then I felt really awkward because he goes, okay. She said, she's wearing jeans and ballot flats, first of all. Ballot flats.
Brooke
He. He read that out loud. He said, she's wearing ballet flats.
Danielle
Yes. I'm like, Ryan, you're so smart. Like, ballot flats.
Brooke
Oh, my God.
Danielle
And that is quite literally what I was wearing. I was wearing jeans and ballet flats.
Brooke
See, that's. Yeah. Now.
Danielle
So then I immediately changed into. Oh, I did like, a denim tuxedo and Then I actually wore these boots. I. And I was happy with my choice, but people were commenting, like, how did. How did your outfit suffice? Like, and think, God, I didn't wear a dress. Oh, my God. This was like, very casual chill. But it was so fun, like, meeting his co workers. They were telling me they were like, Ryan is the most overdressed out of all of us at the office every day wear jeans. He. He now. God, he would never wear.
Brooke
He wears a suit, right?
Danielle
He bas. No, not the suit jacket. But yeah, he wears pants and a white long sleeve button down every single day. And they were like, it's so funny. Like, he. It was just funny hearing.
Brooke
Really funny.
Danielle
Like, probably when you have met Ben's classmates, like, it's just. It's really in like lab partners.
Brooke
Oh. It's when they're like, oh, my God, like, he's our favorite person. I'm like, I. Why do I want to cry? Like, I'm proud of, like, my kid, but, like, he's my boyfriend. I'm like, he. He has friends. Like, yes, exactly. Look, he made friends.
Danielle
Like, like out in the world. Like, without us.
Brooke
No, literally without. Without me. Like, people really like you.
Danielle
No, it's really sweet.
Brooke
Yeah, that is really sweet. It's so nice to like, date someone like, who? You're like, that sounds so, like, corny. But like, you're like, wow, like, people actually like, like you.
Danielle
No, you know what I mean? Like, yeah, you're like, oh, my God, he's big man on campus.
Brooke
Good reputation.
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke
Like, well liked in the workplace. Like, that's a real honor.
Danielle
And I also love, like, they all like, like, he clearly talks about me a lot, which is like, oh, that's scary. Like, oh, my God. He told us he did that. I'm like, oh, so he talks about me.
Brooke
What is it?
Danielle
What else does he say about me? So that was nice.
Brooke
Oh, I love that.
Danielle
But that was a bit. I was like, I hear about all these co workers all the time, but they've never had an event. So it was nice to. I mean, it was like, not a formal event for their company, but it
Brooke
was a laid back, laid back BBQ
Danielle
on Long island, you know? Yeah.
Brooke
They commute every day.
Danielle
That person does. Yeah. It's just the one person that like, lives out there. Yeah. Yeah. But, you know, we met his son. We're in the backyard. It was like a vibe.
Brooke
Yeah. I've been on like a really big kick of like, you know, I get like, fixated on, like, things like, right now like, my fixation is like, I like, want a brownstone in Brooklyn.
Danielle
Oh, yeah, you need that like in
Brooke
the next like five years. Like, I'm like, like, I want this.
Danielle
Get the condom. Yeah.
Brooke
Like, I'm like, no, I just am obsessed. Like, I've been getting. I mean, it's so out of the budget. Like, it's actually laughable. Like, it's like beyond really. Well, I mean, you could get one for. I could get one for probably what I got my condo for, which is insane to begin with.
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke
But then I would have to do every room.
Danielle
Would you like, make it?
Brooke
Yeah. No, because it's like decrepit. Like, if you get one for that price, like, it's legit falling apart.
Danielle
It's like you gotta then go in
Brooke
and the nice ones are like, I mean, they're like six, seven. Yeah, like six, seven, six, seven. No, they're in. I love watching the tours of them. I'm just like obsessed. I'm just like, I, I love the concept of like a home, like in the city, but like, that is like, it's just. And in like Upper east side and like those, like, it's just so beyond incomprehensible, like to be. You know what I mean?
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke
But Brooklyn, I'm like, you know, we're new money. Like, we're working towards that goal. Like, you know what? Hell yeah. Like someone new money would get a town home in Brooklyn.
Danielle
Like, hey, so you know how you, you post that tick tock. Like people always ask me, my next project, I'm gonna get a brownstone. Yeah, you're working towards brownstone one day.
Brooke
I, you would, I mean, you would like these too. I think they're really cute.
Danielle
Oh, I know. Exactly.
Brooke
The only con is that they're really narrow.
Danielle
They're really narrow stairs. You gotta like go up, right?
Brooke
It's. Yeah. Well, I would want the one that's like you walk in the front door like you're in the house. Like, it's not like you have to like enter your unit. You know what I'm saying? Like, yeah, yeah, yeah. They're very vertical and they're very narrow.
Danielle
Very vertical.
Brooke
But I like the, like, you know, you have a little patio and like, it's like really like the combination of suburb, city living. Like, I, I like, I just like that.
Danielle
Oh my God. If I like was living in New York for a long period of time, like, I, I think that's the perfect balance. Yeah.
Brooke
Like, I know.
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke
I don't know why, like, I like Got this idea through my head and then Ben and I were like, in Brooklyn Heights and I was like, oh, no, I need it, like, tomorrow.
Danielle
Does he like them too?
Brooke
Yeah. It's impossible to not like you. You see them and you're like. And you see the cute, like, families coming out with their strollers and everything, and you're like, oh, like, that's me.
Danielle
Like, wait, so here's a fun question for you because I get asked this a lot.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
About you. Do you see yourself staying in Brooklyn forever? Like, like as long as you're in the city?
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
Or would you move back into Manhattan ever?
Brooke
I don't see myself moving back to Manhattan. But, you know, life can change. Like, life, circumstances and things could change.
Danielle
So.
Brooke
But I do see myself. I. I don't see myself in this particular, like, place forever. In my. Like, I think I have one more place in the city in me. And I think that that would be my brownstone, you know?
Danielle
I think so.
Brooke
I think that's my. That's my, like five year.
Danielle
It's.
Brooke
I always do this thing where I'm like, that's my five year goal. And then like, suddenly next week I'll be like, it's my two year goal.
Danielle
And then it will be a one year goal tomorrow. Like, I can't wait any longer. Like, no, not shopping for year.
Brooke
I decided I'm going bankrupt. I need the brownstone.
Danielle
Need that. I'm going to need that now. Have to move some things around.
Brooke
Yeah, that's cool. If you see me with a hard hat on and a hammer doing some work, just know that I'm. I'm broke. Like, just know that it's not a job. It's all gone.
Danielle
She's. She got the brownstone, though.
Brooke
New money, no more.
Danielle
New money, no more. There's our title. Yeah. Well, I had so much fun talking to you today.
Brooke
Me too. Except that I'm sorry for this frog in my throat. I legit feel like I have, like.
Danielle
Like, you know, I. I don't think.
Brooke
I don't know what's wrong.
Danielle
I shouldn't have even pointed it out.
Brooke
No, no, I keep, like, doing like, the clearing my throat thing, which I. I actually do hate, so.
Danielle
No, but it's hard. I mean, what are you gonna do when you podcast for an hour? We can't. I had a cough for a month and the people on the podcast did get annoyed with me. Sorry.
Brooke
But I didn't. Sniffling. But I think that the sniffling is me.
Danielle
Oh, did someone say something about the Sniffling.
Brooke
People say things about, like background noises and whatever. And I'm like, like, someone said something about.
Danielle
Oh, about my snorting.
Brooke
No, but I thought that it was. But then I was like, I think it was me.
Danielle
No, it's my snort laugh. That's what they're. It's like when I'm like. Or I don't know what I do
Brooke
because I just breathe through my nose and I. I can't. Like, you know, that's what.
Danielle
Because I was like, oh, my gosh, guys. Like, they're laughing about my snore. And you're like, I think that's me. And I'm like, no, I really.
Brooke
You do. It's because you think I have a deviated septum. So when I breathe, I go like. You know, when I.
Danielle
It's.
Brooke
You can hear me, like breathing and stuff sometimes, like, I feel though. Yeah.
Danielle
I don't know. Us justifying everything for each other. Okay, we love you guys so much. Thank you so much for listening or watching on YouTube. And we'll see you guys next week.
Brooke
See you next week. Bye.
