B
I'm Brooke. Happy Wednesday.
A
Happy Wednesday. I wish I could sing so bad.
B
I think that you're. You're better than me.
A
I've never actually. I have heard you say we did that.
B
We did that.
A
You sang the other day. Oh. My name is Reggie George. Wow, what a time. And tick tock might be leaving us, so.
B
I know. What the heck. Maybe by the time this episode is up, we have a final verdict.
A
Yeah, I know it's hard to know. Really.
B
Yeah. The world is in such a state right now. I mean, my God, like, I feel like we need some levity, some humor.
A
We need some humor. We are, we are here to do that for you guys, hopefully. And just give a little distraction from your phone. Like, it's just not fun. And we're thinking of all of you that are affected by these fires. Yes.
B
Yeah.
A
And unfortunately we had to reschedule our Irvine show, which was really sad.
B
Yeah.
A
I think it's for the best.
B
I feel like it was a good decision.
A
Yeah.
B
Just we were supposed to be in LA this whole week and we were just like not the time.
A
Right. To come on in and be like, hey guys, let's go to Erewhon.
B
Am I right? Yeah, absolutely not feel right.
A
So we are giving you guys all hugs and thinking of all of you and we've been posting resources and we've been donating ourselves as well. But just know that it's definitely top of mind for sure. Both of us. And we did reschedule the Irvine date though to April 2nd.
B
Yes.
A
So we really hope to see you guys there. I definitely got some messages like we'll still be there in April, so really, really glad. Don't know if Fibula will be joining us because he may not be able to, but we're gonna.
B
I know the day change.
A
He was really excited to join us, obviously this week, but. Yeah, so. But this is gonna be a really fun episode. I feel like we have so much to talk about.
B
So much.
A
And really grateful that we're able to just do this every week.
B
Of course we're here, we're vibing and the rest of the tours you know, continued as scheduled.
A
So, yes, as this episode's going live, we'll be in Miami.
B
Yes, we will be. I know where Danny's activated in my.
A
I feel like you love Miami too.
B
I do. I do. Really like it. I do. Oh, of course. I mean, of course. I feel like, I mean, it's your favorite place in the world. It's in my top places for sure.
A
Amazing. So, yeah, I gotta figure out outfits. So if you want to snag a last minute ticket, we're at the Miami Improv tomorrow night. The 22nd maybe is the day. Yeah, 23rd.
B
Because then Atlanta is on the 25th.
A
Yeah, we'll be in Atlanta. And that's gonna be so fun. We have so many of our friends from college coming. Like, seriously, I think Ryan's coming.
B
Like, get excited.
A
Yeah, yeah, Excited. No Santa hat, but.
B
Oh, no.
A
January. Yeah, it's January, but special guest.
B
You can't look for him in the crowd.
A
Yeah, well, because his mom was coming. He was like, my mom's going. I feel like I should be there. I was like, yeah. Oh, that's hometown show.
B
Her first time seeing the.
A
Her first time seeing the show. I'm like, kind of nervous. Like, that's kind of scary to be at the show. Oh, yeah, I gotta watch my mouth. No kidding. Don't worry, you guys. I will not spare any details. It's gonna be so fun. So definitely go get your tickets and then the week after. Do we go anywhere? I don't even know. We're going to the Midwest. Boston.
B
Then we're going to Cabo ourselves.
A
Oh, fun.
B
Triple. I'm showing live show.
A
Unless, you know, I mean, we'll do a live show if there's people there vacationing as well.
B
Our friends that we made by the pool. You know, maybe we.
A
Arsenio. Yeah, I love him.
B
We're just going for fun. We'll talk about that later.
A
Yeah.
B
And then right after that is a few weeks go by and then we have Boston, which is. I'm like, so get excited.
A
Gretchen's our special guest. There are some tickets left if you want to get them. We have lots of friends coming to that show.
B
For sure. It's going to be friends galore and.
A
You know, like social media friends.
B
Exactly. I was gonna say guest appearances in the crowd. So.
A
Yeah, you know, and like, they're friends of the gals. Sure. They're like friend of. You know, like there's like adjacent, but like, these are our. Our peeps. So we're really. There are literally some of Our influencer friends traveling for this show, which is so nice. I just don't want to say because I don't know if they've said so.
B
I know, I know.
A
Big secret. Surprise guest. No, but on stage with us will be Gretchen. So that's going to be really, really fun. And it's just, you know, we're getting back to it. Back in the saddle, if you will. We are in the road. I know I said this last time we recorded, but again you are glowing because again you went down south and you had a lovely trip.
B
This is all fake. I mean, obviously. No, I, I literally got back so good. Oh, I put on a big layer of self tan because I filmed a video today like, of like vacation outfits. It's cute. It's very awesome. You know, I was like, oh, I can't. You gotta look in, you know, because I self tanned like before the trip. Anyways, I went on a fantastic bachelorette trip to Palm Beach, Florida. Confusion between West Palm beach and Palm Beach.
A
Oh, confusion accepted.
B
I. We were being, we would be eating lunch or something and I'd be like, oh, you know, I just love Palm beach people. Like, we're in West Palm beach, we go to dinner. Oh, like, oh, still no. Now we're in Palm Beach. There's like a bridge that you go into Palm beach proper.
A
But like where is like Worth Avenue? Is that a thing?
B
Yes.
A
Is that. Maybe that's.
B
That's Palm Beach. You ever seen these tik toks of the like the people.
A
Oh yeah, of course.
B
I love your outfit. Where is it, bro?
A
Yeah, literally we were making fun of.
B
Them the whole time. Like we're like walking down there and like love your outfit. Tell me about it. I was like my Birkin's limited edition.
A
Oh, that's a funny TikTok to make video Instagram reel, should I say?
B
My gosh, YouTube short.
A
YouTube short. Also I'm loving all the girlies making YouTube channels right now.
B
I know.
A
Come on over to YouTube. The water's great.
B
It is, it is.
A
I can't wait for this YouTube research. I wonder if it won't be.
B
I wonder if it will be YouTube proper videos or shorts. Like I was trying to figure out what that where.
A
I feel like YouTube proper. I was using horizontal videos.
B
Really?
A
Like people promoting their horizontal videos. So.
B
Wow.
A
I. I don't know. I don't know. But I, I think it's so we were just talking about YouTube vlogs last week. How it's so nice to have it on your TV. Get YouTube Premium, like, pre prepare and enjoy. But anyways, you were in Palm Beach.
B
I was in Palm Beach. It was a lovely destination for Bachelorette, I bet. Yeah. I have to say, we. There were some other bachelorette. Like, it was just a lovely itinerary. I feel like it was with my college friends, and I feel like we're very much so in our. Like, you know, a lot of the group is married now, like, you know. Yeah. So we're engaged. Yeah, we're engaged a lot. Oh, my gosh. We're going around the table. Everybody's trying on rings. You know, I was like, I'll see what I like.
A
Yeah.
B
No, but everybody was just in the best mood. We're celebrating my friend Jacqueline, who is the best. And just, like, such good belly laughs, nostalgia from college, you know, good memories, good inside jokes. I always feel bad for, like, in this case, like, there's two other people that, like, weren't in my college group, and we were definitely very, like, inclusive of them and whatever. But I'm like, you just have jokes that, like, you just will never under, you know?
A
Yeah, that's really tough, like, unfortunately. But I'm sure you guys were really nice.
B
Totally, Totally. But you would invite, like, you know, I feel like if I had a bachelor tomorrow, I would be inviting people from so many different, like, life and groups.
A
You're gonna have to all get along.
B
Yeah.
A
Like, I don't make the rules.
B
We're gonna have to make some new inside jokes.
A
Y. Oh, that's so true. You've been on a few really great bachelorettes. I feel like.
B
Yeah.
A
Like, you've been to Arizona.
B
Yeah. Scottsdale.
A
Yeah.
B
And then Dewey Beach. Over. And then this one. Yeah. Yes. But I have to say, Palm beach was great. Really lovely destination. I would suggest going there. I mean, I feel like it's a nice, like, warm weather destination. We did. I've done Airbnb for every bachelor I've been on so far, and I feel like it's nice, like, all the. In one or verbo. I guess. I don't. I'm not the one booking them. I'm not.
A
There's, like, so many.
B
Yeah, that would be nice. Like, I've seen, like, because those are, like, the luxe ones, Right? Like.
A
Or maybe. Yeah. We were looking for Stagecoach, and there's some nice album stays, but maybe I would say it's just California. I'm not sure.
B
No, I think they have them everywhere. I think it's like a more curated collection.
A
Yeah.
B
Which is actually kind of nice because I love Airbnb and vrbo. But sometimes you get lost on there and you're like, oh, my gosh, I don't even eat. Like, I thought I knew what I wanted, but now I don't. And. Yeah, totally. Yeah, for sure. I was. I wrote down. Sure.
A
You have some notes, a few silly.
B
Things that happened on the trip. Okay, first question. Do you sleep with white noise?
A
Yeah.
B
The entire night.
A
It's a new. Okay. But not when I'm traveling. I have a lot of friends that do that. Okay, but on my hatch, it's a new thing. I put it on. Like, it goes through the night. It's like the night routine.
B
Yeah.
A
And then it turns into white noise throughout the whole night. I know. It's nice.
B
I don't judge, but I judge a little. I know.
A
I understand what you're saying. Like, I don't need it.
B
Not you particularly, but I'm. I. Because I pulled the group because I realized how big of a thing this is. Because I. My room was great. I shared a room with my friend Jessie. She's like, you know, she got there earlier. She's like, I got us a bedroom. I was like, sick. Love this for us, you know, Bathroom attached. Love it. And we, like, we're like, going to go to bed, and she turns on her speaker. Literally, like a fucking speaker. And she was like. She's like, do you care if I sleep with white noise? And I could sleep through anything, truly. Like, yeah, if I'm really tired, don't worry about it. And I was like, yeah, like, I don't mind. And then I realized it.
A
I do mind.
B
It is consist. I. For some reason, I thought it ebbed and floated. I guess I was thinking like ocean waves or something. No, it is a consistent noise like that.
A
No, there are people that need it no matter where they are, and they play it on their phone or speaker.
B
The speaker died halfway through the night. I did wake up to the. Like, like, Because.
A
Yeah, that kind of wrecks the vibe. Yeah.
B
But I understand falling asleep to it. I can't as a. But then at the same time, I'm a very, like, paranoid person. I need to be aware of the noises in my house.
A
Oh, yes. Of white noise.
B
Yeah. That would not work for me because I would be like, I couldn't hear that, you know, door slam or the creaky door, like.
A
No, I see. That's why I do it. Because my apartment makes, like, a lot of noises and it freaks me out. Maybe it's the living alone.
B
So it's like Calming in a way. Yeah, I. I get it. I wish that there was a way. I mean, you could put on like time remote, I guess, and like turn it off after 30 minutes. I just was shocked when I pulled the group, but. And people like, Brooke, you have a hatch. I'm surprised you don't. And I was like, I know. Like, I never got into this habit and I like, don't want to.
A
I know there's brown noise, pink noise, white noise. There's so many noises.
B
I need to listen to something.
A
I actually don't like wave sounds.
B
Why?
A
Because it's like too distracting to me.
B
Because it's not a consistent path.
A
Because it's not consistent. Oh, my God. Virgo versus Aries over here.
B
Yeah, I don't really like any. If I'm completely honest. I would prefer to sleep. Yeah, I never fell asleep with the TV on though. Did you used to know that?
A
No.
B
Yeah, these people, they were telling me like. Yeah, you like to fall asleep to a podcast or. I was a podcast. My God. Maybe some people.
A
Oh, my God. You're constantly stimulated. No, there's definitely people that do that. For sure. It's just preference. It is funny though. You really get to know someone when you like. Yeah. Like when we're traveling for tour. You won't find me.
B
Like, I was gonna say new habit.
A
Yeah, no, no, it's just like on my hatch. It's right there.
B
Totally. I really didn't mind it, so it was like. If it was really, really fun, I would have been like, you got to put in headphones or something. But totally.
A
I mean, just makes you think.
B
Just people's sleep habits, right? They change through the years. Really, really funny. I've been losing things.
A
No, I've been.
B
I've never been.
A
This person needs a lot of air. Tags girlfriend.
B
I know.
A
I like that kind of losing. Or I did.
B
See, I lost two things on this trip.
A
One. Indignity. No.
B
Yeah. Three. Three. The first one, we did a bow tie. As I said, it was like a sunse. That cruise. Yeah, it was great. There's actually another bachelorette group there too. The Bachelorette. Oh my God.
A
That's a movie.
B
Yeah, it honestly could be.
A
Definitely.
B
Yeah. And we were going to get off the boat then at this point. And I wore. I wore heels because we're going to dinner afterwards. I didn't wear like stiletto style heel. They were kind of like a block, you know, So I was like, I'm good. I did like the pair of heels getting off the boat. I. I Mean, I didn't really have that much in my hand, but I just like got a little overwhelmed and I had like my purse, I had the two shoes, I had like just a few things in my hand and I was going to reach for like, I guess the hand, like the handle to like make sure that I could get off securely. You know, one of the shoes just flies out of my hand, goes clunk into the water.
A
That was a good water noise.
B
Yeah. I was like. And for some reason at that time, none of my friends or no one from the bachelorette was around. So I was just like, haha, waiting for someone to like react.
A
Yeah. Like, oh no.
B
Yeah. And the stranger woman behind me, she goes, oh honey, it's gone, it's gone.
A
Oh honey, it's gone.
B
Because like I looked for a second, I guess I'm like, should I go for it? Should I not? It started going under the boat and it was like a big floating it. Like it's. I saw it start to go down underwater. No. And it was going under this big ass boat. I was like, I'm not going to risk myself like at that point.
A
But you had dinner after.
B
We had dinner after. What do you do? I got off the boat, I was like, guys, I have one shoe. And everyone was like, what? What are we gonna do? And for some reason, like I just didn't think to panic. Like, I was just like, it's funny.
A
Yeah, guys, it's funny.
B
I have one shoe. Ha. And they were like, no, you can't like go out like that.
A
Oh. Because places are like strict about the barefoot thing.
B
Well, it wasn't like a beach town, like Palm Beach.
A
Like not like, like it's not like just came in from the beach all sandy.
B
No, it was. At least the places we were going were like more like inland I guess. Maybe like the dive bar right there. It could have been.
A
No, I think you're right. Yeah, it wouldn't work.
B
Wasn't going to work. But luckily some of my friends like needed jackets so they were like, oh, uber back. Cuz I was like, I'm going to find a surf shop. People. Like, there's no surf shop here, Brooke.
A
Like what I totally was going to say, did you buy flip flops?
B
Like I would have gone to like a CVS or a surf shop I guess and gotten some shoes. That's just like so out of character for me. Like, I don't really know. I've literally like never been that person. It's like, oh, I, I left my, my, you know, Even like leaving my jacket and stuff. I typically don't do.
A
No, you're like on it.
B
Like we get make sure other thing I lost besides my dignity. My AirPod case.
A
Like the holds that. What holds the AirPods or like a decorative.
B
I had my air pods in my ears and like that. I know. I don't know what's happening to me. I took it out on the plane, had my pods in. Next thing I know I made it through the terminal. I was going to put them away and I went to find my. And they were on the plane, but I was already through like on the other end. And I was like, oh my God, what do I do? So I didn't go. Yeah, they say you can't go back. Like, you know the big signs, like, don't go back past this point.
A
Like, yeah, if it was something like really important to you, you could like call and wait on hold and like a whole thing. But I had no.
B
Also there's like, I didn't write my name on it. Yeah, there's no just like a blank AirPod case.
A
Ah, that really.
B
I know that's a big L. I just got new AirPods too. I lost a pair recently. What is wrong with me?
A
Nothing's wrong with you.
B
No. But AirPods, like, I never used to lose those. Some people I feel like are chronic AirPod losers. They're like for sure on losers. The way you said it sounded like they are like, it's like a personality thing. They're like, oh, yeah, I had to buy a new pair. Like, and that. That gets me like, I get irked by that because I'm like, that's expensive. Like to just be. Yeah, it's like, you know, I might have to go back to wired headphones. I don't trust myself anymore.
A
It's kind of trendy, so I take pictures and videos for a living. Like, I am constantly putting myself on the Internet and there is nothing worse than when there's a photo with just a big old red pimple, you know, is a big old red juicy pimple. A
I, like, got away from the headphones. I need. We need to bring those back. They're good earbuds. Like.
B
Oh, just like.
A
Like the air maxes.
B
I wasn't talking about those. Is that what.
A
I know, but I'm saying when you bring those back, because it's harder to lose.
B
Totally that. No, totally. I thought about bringing those, like, today when I was commuting here, but they're just so big. And I do feel like sometimes it's.
A
Like, with makeup on, too. I don't love to.
B
And hair done for the.
A
Yeah, yeah. You've got a slick back tonight.
B
And I do like to be aware in New York City, and sometimes I feel like they are a little.
A
I know. Definitely on edge lately. It's like head on the floor.
B
No, I like. I like the idea of it.
A
The idea of it. That's, like, one of our best things. We've. It is.
B
So that's. That's the things I lost, but I gained a lot of good memories. Truly, such good memories. Yeah.
A
What were the themes?
B
That's a really good question.
A
Yeah.
B
Tell us what was, like, the main theme, Because I'm learning now the bachelors have, like, a main theme. It will be like Last Splash.
A
Yeah.
B
Before the. The wedding. Like that.
A
Yeah.
B
That didn't make sense. Like.
A
No, the one I went on was the Last Splash, so the.
B
Of the entire thing.
A
Yeah.
B
Like, that was the overall overarching theme. And then the nights you had.
A
Then you have different nights. Yeah.
B
So what we're trying to think with it. Let me pull up to find the overarching theme. One night was, you know, sunset vibes, and there was, like, a. A mood board, I guess, to kind of, like, go off of. The other night, we all wore white and the bride wore pink. She didn't say what, like, what she was wearing, but they were like, everybody wears white, which I love as a theme, you know, And I feel like the bride could wear something just fun. Like, they could wear whatever they want and you could wear. I'm trying to find. Oh, it's. It was toast on the co. Last toast on the coast.
A
Oh, cute, cute, cute.
B
Like, pink and not orangey.
A
Okay.
B
Were, like, the colors of the balloons I'm showing. Put it in the newsletter.
A
Yeah.
B
It was really cute. And they did, like, you know, the printouts of the. The groom's face and.
A
So funny.
B
Really cute. Personalized gift. A good idea for anybody in their bachelorette era.
A
Yeah.
B
A little confusion, though, on who Gives the gift, like, you know, like the tote bag when you enter. Of all the stuff.
A
I had confusion with our bachelorette as well.
B
Who. Who did you think gives that gift?
A
We. What did we end up doing? Or what do we. We thought it was the maid of honor, but we ended up doing, like a few of us, like, did it for the group.
B
Okay.
A
So just. I don't know. What did you guys think?
B
I think the maid of honor did it. Yeah, she did an amazing job. She did majority of the decorations, the Costco run. Like, she did like a lot of that stuff. And I think that we might have like split some of like the Costco stuff. Obviously we split like the food we ate.
A
Yeah, of course.
B
But I think she covered like a lot of the decorations and things like that as like her gift. But then the bride made us each like a personalized acrylic sign that says, like the town that we currently live in. And then the miles to the distance of where the wedding is. So it says, you know, like New York 600, like with like the arrow, you know, like, to the wedding. Yeah.
A
And it's a sign or a tray.
B
Yeah, it's like a little.
A
Oh, that's so cute.
B
Sort of.
A
Yes, I see.
B
And then a purse and then a note to everybody.
A
I love that.
B
Like a nice detailed, you know, like.
A
It'S like, thank you so much for being.
B
Yes, that's. That was her personalized.
A
Oh.
B
Which I really like. Oh, you guys can. I'm sure that this stuff is all over Pinterest. I don't know. I am in early phases of planning. Mariah's bachelorette. Yes.
A
Brooke is on duty.
B
No, I was like, it was a combination of appointed and self appointed. Because she was like, yeah, yeah, we need to get to. And I was like, we need, we need to get to this yesterday.
A
Like, yeah, this needs to be happening.
B
Yeah. Because I've realized you have to get planning those things early.
A
I'm sure just to get dates. Yeah.
B
For that many people.
A
I know.
B
Oh my God, that's so much booked up.
A
I can't wait to see Brook in like canva mode. Like maybe.
B
I know Etsy has everything. I started cuz I started putting stuff in Pinterest and I've noticed everything links back to Etsy and like they have it all. It's amazing.
A
Love Pinterest.
B
Love it. I know. I feel like I'm in my like crafts era.
A
Not I love I, I.
B
But it's fun.
A
Home Renault.
B
You see me with like a hammer and like the hey, guys.
A
I'm Brooke.
B
Yeah, I feel like I'm gonna be on hd. I'm gonna be like, yeah. Hey, guys, we just finished phase one construction.
A
Oh, my God. That's gonna be so fun. I can't wait to find out where you guys end up going and what you're doing and all the things.
B
Exciting. Yeah. Well, when you planned, was the destination already selected or were you like, oh, yeah, the destination.
A
Yes, it was selected. And then I kind of went in.
B
And you hopped in.
A
I hopped in. I hadn't never been to the location, but I.
B
And you had. That was your first bachelor ride too.
A
And it was my first time.
B
It's very hard to plan a bachelor if I can't even imagine how you would. Because you. Yeah, you think, you know, but you. You don't like coordinating that many people or like over 10 people for multiple activities. It's hard. You have to really rank.
A
Definitely. And just trying to, like, get a feel for, like, the group and what people may not like, what they'll like, but also making sure the bride is the one who's the most happy.
B
Of course.
A
It's. But it's a fun game.
B
It's so fun. Fun. It's such a fun. You get to cosplay as, like, a party planner.
A
Really. I know.
B
I'm like, maybe I'll start a side business.
A
I think you're going to.
B
I'm thinking, like, I need to. You're like, with every hobby.
A
Yes. But, hey, it's a hobby.
B
You're right.
A
Hobbies in 2025.
B
Bachelorette Brooks, Bachelorette service.
A
I mean, you've been on enough now where you know what works. So. Yeah, that's really.
B
Maybe. Okay, that was enough about me. Now tell me about you. I missed. I did have some FOMO from. I know, a really fun girls weekend.
A
It was so chill, though. Like, I. So our friend Clara Purse came to town and she had text us, and Brooke was like, oh, my gosh, I'll be on a bachelorette. But we really didn't make plans until the week of. And I was just literally here. I had no plans. And so we just did two different breakfast dates. So my plans this weekend were breakfast on Saturday morning with Clara and Katie and then breakfast on Sunday morning with Claire. Okay. It was nice. We missed you. It was lots of, like, conversation.
B
It was deep thinking.
A
Yes. Like, lots of chit chats, lots of laughs. You know the drill. That was really fun. But I have so much television to talk about. If you may. If I may.
B
Please indulge me. I was. I. Have you spent most of the weekend?
A
Yes. I've been watching so many things.
B
That is really great to know because I feel like we've both not really been online much, and I, you know. Hey, how's your summer?
A
Like, yeah, literally. I know. I. I just.
B
What have you been up to?
A
Because say. Yeah, right. It's. Yeah. I really just organized my apartment.
B
You said you wanted to do that.
A
I wanted to do that. And I'm still. Tomorrow's my last big day. I'm gonna go to Container Store because they're going out of business. Yes. I've just been, like, vlogging the whole week. Whenever there's something I'm doing, I just film it.
B
But you're watching tv.
A
Yes. First off, I want to say thank you for the wreck for Home Edit. Because I watched that on Netflix. The Home Edit. Because obviously we're talking about Free Makeover. Well, they, like, you told me they have their own show where they organize. Like, Khloe Kardashian had no idea. So was Binging that and obsessed with it. It's so funny. Just the two girls dynamic. Like, it's just good Saw Baby Girl.
B
I want to hear all about it.
A
I'm not gonna spoil it.
B
Is there, like, a big plot twist?
A
No. I guess. Yeah. No, there's really not. But I do need you to go see it.
B
Okay.
A
An lmk. What you think?
B
Okay.
A
However, part of me wants to tell you to wait till it comes into home dvd. You know, like, Blu Ray dvd. Because let me tell you, it is intense.
B
Something that I might want to watch in private.
A
In private. Like, even watching it with my girlfriends was like, this is a little weird.
B
What was the. Were there, like, other groups of friends?
A
It was all girlies that were in there. There were some, like, boyfriends and husbands or whatever it may be. But, like, you know when. Like back in, like, school, when you would start to laugh and you just can't stop.
B
Yes.
A
And you're like. It's so quiet. Yeah. Like me, I cannot laugh right now. That happened to me and my friend. We were like. There was just. It was so 12 years old. Like, it was just Nicole Kidman. She's gotta act out a lot of orgasms. I'm just gonna be honest.
B
Okay.
A
Okay. Okay.
B
Who even knows if it's acting?
A
Yeah, she's just over there.
B
Intimacy coordinate.
A
Yeah. And it was just like, you're in this room full of people. We're all just sitting there watching it. And then my friend, she made one Noise, like. And I just started dying laughing. And Delaney's like, daniel, you.
B
Because she.
A
Delaney is not a movie talker. She is like a glued.
B
She's a cinema buff, I would say. Right. She takes the theater very, very seriously.
A
Brooke. Like, it was not cutting it with her. So honestly, that helped me kind of be like, oh, my God, I have to walk back in. Like, because not like I thought it was funny, but just, like, you know, when it comes over you.
B
Yeah, yeah.
A
But it was the casting, honestly, I thought was amazing. The. The boy or the boy?
B
The man.
A
The man who plays this. It's. Do you know, like, the story?
B
Yeah.
A
The interns.
B
He works for the company. How is he supposed to be, like. Like, our age?
A
Yeah. A little younger, I would say, because.
B
Okay.
A
Right. I Like. Did you like 50 Shades of Gray? Did you ever watch it?
B
Yeah, I thought it was okay.
A
Same. I never was into that, so it didn't seem realistic.
B
Like, it seems so far from.
A
It's so seductive. So, like, intense. Like, it's. For some people. Yeah.
B
But I feel like there was enough plot building before. Like, it wasn't like, I needed more backstory on his. I needed a prequel.
A
Yeah.
B
Honestly, on his.
A
You need some intimacy first.
B
Yes.
A
No, of course. Take me on a date first.
B
Yeah.
A
This is different. I think if you didn't like 50 Shades, I don't want to. I tend to do this where I hype things up, but I think we also went in being like, we may hate this movie. Oh, my God. Like, we were. We literally have created a group chat called Baby Girl now where we send videos. Like, edits. Like, I'm talking. We're sending edits from the film, really. But, like, I don't know. It might not be, but it's so, like.
B
No, I really want to see it. I've. I've been on that side of Tick Tock as well. I've seen, like, the edits of the club scene. I saw that there's.
A
You would love the club scene. At one point, I kind of had to close my eyes. It was so much strobe lights for so long. It's just like. But some people say it has no plot. And I'm like, that is so far from the truth. It has such a plot. There's such a message behind it. Everyone always has something to say. But honestly, a lot of people, I think, really loved it. Like, it's just so good.
B
I'm gonna add it to my list, but I probably will wait until it comes on at home.
A
Yeah. Dream I don't know if I'd watch with any. Like. Yeah, I don't know if I'd watch with a man.
B
Have you ever gone to movies alone?
A
No.
B
No. And honestly, that's one thing I might do alone. A little weird.
A
Yeah. I mean, no, I don't think it's weird.
B
It's not weird, but, like, if people look at you, they might be like, yeah, not at that movie. Like, certain movies, if you show up by yourself. Oh, oh, okay.
A
Like. Like Hideout too.
B
Like, well, yeah, that's weird. No, I don't think it's weird to see Wicked alone. Like, I don't think that's weird. No, it's like, oh, I'm passionate about the film.
A
Yeah. I have friends who go to the movies alone.
B
Yeah.
A
My ex boyfriend would go to the movies alone. I think it's normal.
B
I'm not gonna go see Baby Girl alone. But it's a good concept there, no?
A
Yeah, for sure.
B
If you have, like, the AMC thing, I think you go along because, like. Yeah, you gotta go to make it work, Right.
A
I think Regal now offers that too.
B
Really? The main package.
A
Yeah.
B
You're a Regal Girl.
A
I just love the Regal and Lower east side. You probably went when we used to live over there.
B
Yes.
A
So nice. So we have that one.
B
It's right next to the food hall and.
A
Yeah. Which is closed now.
B
The entire thing is closed.
A
Not the entire thing, but the restaurants are closed. Only the top part with the market is open now. Like, they've gone out of business. My gosh, so sad.
B
That was a great spot.
A
It was such a great spot. And we were literally gonna go there for dinner before the movie.
B
Yeah.
A
Couldn't do it, so. I know, but I just had to say my piece and I really need people to DM me that have seen Baby Girl because Baby Girl.
B
Talk about it. It's a crush on this guy now.
A
I do.
B
Like, is it kind of like that type of thing? Yeah, it's like, now we all love him. Like, yeah.
A
Like, oh, my God, where has this actor been? Like, got it. It's so good. Like, I'm obsessed. So definitely go see that.
B
I like a movie like that where you're like, I suddenly need to do, like, deep dive Lauren to, like, these.
A
Yeah, exactly. Yeah. And. But it is weird. Like, it makes you feel weird. A kind of movie. Anyways, the other thing I watched, you have to watch this.
B
Okay.
A
It's called Unreal. It's old. Maybe you've watched it.
B
No, I don't think so.
A
You've probably heard of it. I feel like maybe we've talked about it there. It's a Netflix show called Unreal. It came out in 2018. There's Four Seasons. It's about, like, a show like the Bachelor. It's like the behind the scenes of, like, the producers and how they get certain girls to go crazy and say certain things. Does it sound familiar at all?
B
It does sound familiar. Is it fiction or non fiction?
A
Because I. I think when I initially heard about it, I thought it was, like, reality.
B
Like a documentary.
A
Ye. Yeah.
B
Yeah. And it's not. It's like. So it's like a fake show about the behind the scenes of a real show? Yes, sort of.
A
It is. And it makes me just want to call up people that have done the Bachelor and be like, tell me if this is real. Because it is.
B
I mean, we have some sources.
A
I know. I'm like, yeah, I really am. Like, are they, like, done with their contract to tell us now? Because the shit. Like, the producers would say certain things, so one girl would say something to another. Like, someone's, like, it was really sad. Like, someone's, like, parent would die, and they wouldn't tell them because they wanted to make sure they'd be at the ceremony that night. The rose ceremony. Like, really. It's honestly really up and a little dark at times, but it is so good. Like, I stay up so late. Watch.
B
Really?
A
It's.
B
How did you stumble up?
A
You just were flipping through, and so I'm starting to. I've been watching a little bit more TV that Netflix is starting to say, oh, you might like this. I don't know how the home edit equals Unreal.
B
Yeah.
A
Wow.
B
It's giving you.
A
But I don't think it's talked about enough. It's kind of tell me lies energy.
B
Is the actual, like, production on it, like, good? Like, it's not corny?
A
It's not corny.
B
Like, I. I have to give it a go because I like, is it all about the Bachelor every season or quote the badge?
A
Like, yeah, well, it's not. It's called Everlasting. What a show. And instead of being a Bachelor, they're a suitor.
B
Okay.
A
But it follows, like, a couple producers and, like, what happens behind the scenes and then the show. And then now I'm on season two, so there's, like, a new Bachelor suitor. But there's. It makes me. I really feel like a lot of it's real. Really?
B
I'm sure they would, like, just interview or fact check or.
A
Yeah.
B
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
A
But please, like, when you have a salt, like, I wouldn't. Like, this is something. I'm like, why aren't people talking about it? But maybe they are and I just missed it.
B
Maybe they are.
A
Yeah.
B

B
All my friends on the Bachelorette, they were talking about all these shows. Everyone's going, oh, have you seen. I was like, are you guys watching that much tv? Like when do you want. And I guess I flip through YouTube. I like, I don't have one consistent.
A
Yes, I know.
B
And I think I need to get. I used to be a show like so.
A
Yeah, you definitely were at one point.
B
And then I feel like now I flipped to like a little bit of tick tock, a little bit of YouTube. Like when I have two hours versus watching two episodes of Shy, like I'll just.
A
Well, because shows like that, you kind of need to be locked in watching.
B
Totally.
A
So I usually am like that. But something about January, I'm just watch. I just watch. Just honestly, I'm just not wanting to be on social media. Yeah, sad January. I just want to like be in someone else's world right now. So I think that's nice. And I started the let them book, the let them theory book.
B
Love it, love it.
A
Thank you.
B
It's like the best self help book I've read in a really long time because it's very. It's like a novel. It's not a novel but like it feels like it in the way that she tells stories and you're so right. Samples, which I appreciate.
A
I really like how she's very vulnerable about it. Perfect. I wasn't perfect.
B
Or totally. She shares some stuff that you're like, wow, I can't believe you really put this in this book right now. Which I appreciate.
A
100. No, it's really nice. And the her five second rule or whatever is incredible. Like, now when I wake up in the morning, I'm like, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. You gotta get up. Like, it helps. And then I actually ran into Kit this morning at a workout and she was like, I've been doing the five second thing. And I'm like, same. What are we all doing? Mel Robbins.
B
When you crack open your eyes, you just count.
A
Yeah. Like, you turn off your alarm. You're not supposed to let it snooze. And then. Am I perfect? No, Like, I. I definitely lay there for a second. But it helps you get out of bed. You just say, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. But you have to count down. Like, down. Yeah.
B
You say it aloud.
A
Yeah, I. That's the only way I can get it.
B
Yeah.
A
Because if you're like, in your head, it's like, I'll start over.
B
Yeah. Yeah.
A
So it definitely works.
B
That's great.
A
Yeah, I know. So that's.
B
Yeah.
A
Really? All my updates, right.
B
All my friends were saying Apple TV as the best show. So I think I need to get Apple TV again. They were saying, severance. Have you heard about this?
A
I have heard about it.
B
Silos. There's another one with an S then too. Shrinking. Have you heard about that one with Jason Siegel?
A
I think is maybe. And then. Well, obviously the morning show is on Apple TV as well.
B
A lot of good stuff. So I need to fire that back up. I think I'm always, like, flipping through everything, like, with man. Like, what do we watch? What do we watch? I. I feel like Apple TV has the content that people want these days.
A
There's. There's so much. And then. Oh, I also started that show, the Affair. Like, there's so many shows to watch right now.
B
Actually, my favorite is a show. So we could.
A
Oh, perfect.
B
Segue right into that. Should we?
A
Yes.
B
What's your favorite? My favorite is season three of the Traitors. It is out. Only the first three episodes are out. But I've just been waiting for this all summer to finally be back. Like, truly, I have been waiting for this. It's such a good show. If you don't watch it, it's like reality competition, but not it. Also drama. Oh, I. I Think you would like it. Ciara from Summerhouse.
A
I saw that.
B
She's great. They pull people from all different reality TV shows we're talking about. I mean, they have people from the Bachelor on there. They have people from more competition shows like Survivor, Big Brother. They have Real Housewives. They have just some people that are like. Like in high British society. Like random people. And you're like, how did they get this group of people? But it is so good, I have to say.
A
I. It's all the buzz right now.
B
Yeah.
A
I hear it's really amazing. I might need to give that a go as well.
B
Definitely recommend. That's on Peacock. Oh, and then also while we're doing TV wrecks.
A
Yeah.
B
Another show that I've been watching that I've. I'm all caught up on that. I'm really enjoying Mr. Beast games. Have you heard about the show?
A
Yeah, I've seen people watching it.
B
I'm saying, I feel like this one, I'm like, where's the advertising for this show? But I guess it's like literally his videos are the advertising for it. Because it's the biggest budget reality TV show ever. The budget was 100 million because he's giving away so much money in price.
A
That's part of the.
B
But then you see the production. You're like, they, like, built an island. You're like, how the. Like, I'm like, crunching the numbers. I'm like, how are they crunching the numbers? But it is a really entertaining show, I have to say. And that's on Amazon Prime.
A
Wow.
B
And that's like weekly. I can't stand the week. Weekly release. I can't stand it. I need more than one episode a week. I. I don't know how we did it back in the day.
A
Like, ah, that's the worst.
B
You got to give me, like, at least three or four in a drop.
A
Yeah. You know, otherwise you're not hooked. Sorry.
B
But I see why they do it. To space it out. Because it's like, you know, he's.
A
Keep up the height.
B
Yeah. You keep the show.
A
There's pros to both. I'm loving you. Gave me, like a few more chocolates recently and I now like the chocolate crunch one or something.
B
I know I ran out, but it's good. It's for the best because I. I unfortunately don't need those in my home. Yeah. It's a. It's a good show.
A
Yeah.
B
It's like, I haven't seen anyone else talking about.
A
I'm like, I saw someone recently Talking about it, like when all your boyfriend wants to do is watch Mr. Beast or something.
B
Yeah, it's. I mean it's not like super. It is very similar to his videos, I would say.
A
Yeah. Like I. I'm picturing it now, but.
B
It'S so like multi part and they. I just can't even imagine, like I'm watching and thinking about like the production of it because there's just so many people and like so many, like so much going on that I'm. How did they even do this?
A
Incredible.
B
Yeah, I know.
A
Pretty incredible. Honestly. He does a lot of cool stuff.
B
I know. To go from like little YouTube to that. The biggest show on YouTube. I know. I'm proud to be a YouTuber these days.
A
Proud. Proud.
B
I wear my YouTube.
A
I love that.
B
What are you loving?
A
My favorite is it's cold outside. So if you didn't know, we. And we always talk about this, but like, you can be so warm head to toe and then your hands are freezing cold. And like that. That's what makes you so cold. So I mean, I got these last year, but the rechargeable hand warmers, electronic hand warmers are just PSA reminding you to get these because they're amazing. Mar Washer didn't know about these and now she's purchased them because they are incredible. The ones I have, you charge them with your iPhone. Charger, the USBC, one in each hand. Sometimes they get too hot, so you have to turn the intensity down a little bit.
B
Really?
A
I just feel.
B
So they charge all day? Like a little. Yeah.
A
Oh, totally. Like one time, just not good. I like left them in my pocket kits on. On accident. And that night though, they were still on and hot.
B
Wow. I'm sure that they can't. They make it so that they can't like.
A
No, no. I don't think it's flammable or anything, but it's definitely.
B
Yeah. You want to turn them off.
A
Yeah. At least you don't. They don't die. And you don't get your coat all hot, of course. But yes, that's my favorite. I realized we've been talking so long, we are doing a Q A.
B
Okay. So we asked you guys on our Instagram, which is at Gals in the Go podcast, to ask us some questions. We like to do a check in. I feel like we haven't done a Q A. And a sec.
A
No, we haven't. And like, I love when my favorite podcasters do Q&As. I'm like, we can ask you the Questions we want to know. So we might have to do a part two if we don't, because you guys sent in really good questions. Like, I feel like sometimes it's like, a lot of the same, but these are really dynamic. So thank you guys for submitting. And if you don't follow us on Instagram at Gals in the Go podcast, definitely do so now so that you can be included in the next one.
B
Yes. Okay, let's hit it.
A
Hit it.
B
I thought you would like this one. What's Yalls favorite perfume right now? And I ask you this because is you're the CEO of Scent.
A
Oh, my God, So thoughtful. I do have a favorite thing right now. It is called Balda Freak from Byredo, and it's amazing. It's honestly, you know, the rare Beauty find comfort scent.
B
I was gonna say. I. I'm like, is that your. Well, I'm liking the new rare beauty anyways.
A
Oh, the citrusy one? Yeah, the Find comfort collection, which is like, the purple bottle smells exactly like this. I think, like, they worked with the same company that Byredo does whatever over. It is so good. So much so that I was getting a pedicure the other day, and the girl, she did recognize me, but then, like, I went home and she DM'd me, and she was like, oh, my gosh. Wait, I meant to ask you what perfume you're wearing, because, like, I'm still thinking about it or whatever.
B
So that's. That's.
A
I love that. Right?
B
One of the best. Yeah, I'd say.
A
I couldn't explain the scent to you. It's something like, I've never. Like, how do you explain that scent? Like, that rib, it's so good.
B
I don't even want to say comforting, but it's warm. I would say it's. I want to say mature. It's mature, but not, like, old lady mature.
A
No, it's, like, chic.
B
That's what I would say.
A
I don't know how to explain.
B
I think you might see the bottle and be like, oh, it's like a body spray. Like, I feel like that's what I thought. I was like, oh, it's gonna be like the rare. No, like the Victoria's Secret body sprays. And it is just not. Let me tell you, it is just, like, sophisticated. It's like.
A
It's sophisticated. So I. Because that's like a mist. Technically. I think it's like a hair mist or a body mist. So I went to buy Rado, and I bought myself the perfume, and I Think it. It just, like, lasts a little longer. But pair that with the mist on. Like, your hair. You are smelling good. Love. What's so your favorite right now is the rare beauty.
B
They have a new scent. It's like.
A
Yes.
B
Awaken Confidence collection, I think.
A
Confidence, yes.
B
And, like, I just like that one. It's definitely fruity. It's more. More of like a daytime scent, I would say. I feel like it is really, like a. Wakes you up.
A
It's definitely like a daytime, like, bright and happy scent.
B
I love.
A
Good.
B
When I'm, like, going to SoulCycle, I spray that in my hair, all over my body, and then I do that deodorant. Do Put on purple perfume to work out.
A
Yeah, Yeah, I think that's good. No, it energizes you, I think.
B
Well, I also just consider the crowd, you know, I'm like, doing this, like.
A
Definitely doing it for the group mentality. Like, being kind. Maybe it'll overpower the sweat.
B
Like, especially when you put in your hair.
A
Yeah. Your ponytail slipping around.
B
Yeah. They're like.
A
I think that's really thoughtful, actually.
B
Thank you. Question on Buy Rado. Do they sell that at Sephora? No, you have to go to the Birado store.
A
I did, because we are so blessed to have one in New York. But they also have it at, like, Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Nordstrom. I think they have great sense.
B
Yeah.
A
Okay. I picked this, and I can't remember if we've done it or not, but I. I don't know your answer, so I don't think we have. What would your death row meal be?
B
Yes, we've talked about it, I think, briefly. But mine, like, it changes because today, like, today. Oh, my God.
A
Or like, this month. This month can't just be, like, what you're craving today.
B
Yeah, I'm kind of in, like, a fried rice sort of vibe recently. Like, I would love to, like, do, like, like a true traditional hibachi fried.
A
Right.
B
Honestly, just the hibachi meal experience.
A
Yeah. Like the soup.
B
I want to add two shrimp. I want the soup. I want the salad.
A
I want.
B
And then I want my fried rice rice. Chicken or steak? Maybe a combination of both. And I want the yum yum sauce on the side. Honestly, like that to me, like, okay, take me out.
A
We should go to Benihana. I've never been there. I know you've been. It's.
B
It's okay. It's not a suburb experience, but we should go.
A
Where can we get that? Or do we don't have that in the city.
B
There's another place that I went a few times.
A
Flame.
B
Yes.
A
I only remember that because you like posted a story there.
B
Yeah.
A
Wow.
B
It's been a while. Have you been to that one?
A
No.
B
Oh, there we'll go there is also great, by the way. But you know, did you. Are there good place? Hibachi places like by your house?
A
Oh yeah. Kobe's Japanese Steakhouse. It was amazing. It was like a chain in Florida. There's probably one near your parents house.
B
No. Well, I don't know about that. But there are so many hibachi places on Long island. Like.
A
Oh, really?
B
I swear, like. Yeah, it was maybe just for a moment. There was like so, so many.
A
It's. It was such a thing. Oh, but to go. I just love it. This is your birthday. We went for birthdays a lot.
B
Yes. Always a birthday.
A
So dessert, Would you do dessert?
B
Oh, and then I always like to end with like a very, very, very chocolatey. Like either. Like I like the souffle that they need to put in the oven for 20 minutes.
A
Yeah, I gotta pre order.
B
Yes. Or like a lava cake or something like that. Like very, very chocolatey. Honestly, water with it. I'm so boring. And you know that's with your lemon. With my lemon, of course. And a straw and extra ice. Oh my God, I'm crazy. That's right now though, it fluctuates, you know. How about you?
A
Well, we share the same dessert actually, which is crazy. Lava cake.
B
Yeah.
A
I love. That's my. That would be my death. For dessert.
B
Great dessert.
A
I would start with a dinner roll with butter. And then it would be spaghetti and meatballs with green beans.
B
So it's a salad. Do you have a specific place?
A
No, just in general. Not particularly. Home cooked maybe. Or penne vodka. Like just depends. But pasta for sure. Oh, that's funny. And I would do a.
B
A drink. You could have multiple.
A
Sometimes people do alcoholic drinks. I'm like, really? Like, they don't taste that good.
B
That's how I feel. But I think some people do think, you know, some people are like real lovers of a margarita. Like they're just like, it tastes so good. Like I, you know, I mean it.
A
Tastes good when you want to drink.
B
I agree.
A
No, I would do like Shirley Temple. It definitely going Shirley Temple. That's a fun one.
B
That's a good one.
A
Yeah, that's a.
B
That's a solid order.
A
Yeah. Thank you. You too. Go.
B
Yeah. Personal travel plans for the year.
A
You. I think you should need to go first. You've got a lot. I feel like, all right.
B
I mean, I can look at my.
A
Calendar, pull up my count.
B
I feel like for like the first half of the year. Well, besides the tour, I guess. Like, where else we're going? So we're going to Cabo. We're doing our girls trip to Cabo. We are. Where am I going in February? Nowhere. We're just doing, I think, tour things. In February.
A
Yeah.
B
I kind of want to go upstate for a weekend at some point. I'm trying to factor that in. Like a night, nice weekend upstate in March. I'm really freaking excited. I'm going to St. Vincent for the first time. I know. That's so bougie to me.
A
Right? Like, it's like going one of the saints. I feel like anything with a saint in front of it. I'm like, okay, booze.
B
I know. I'm staying, like, with a resort, like, doing a thing with them, which I'm really excited about.
A
Nice.
B
And then we have my birthday. I don't really have plans for that. I do want to get down to Florida at some point too.
A
Like, what are we doing for your birthday? Or what are you. Or maybe you don't want to do a we thing? Maybe.
B
No, I'm. I'm happy to make it a wee thing. I. I mean, we could do a dinner, like, on my actual birthday. That'd be fun.
A
I would love that.
B
Yeah, we'll. We'll put that in tentatively. Now. It's not like I'm gonna do a trip or anything because it's kind of like right after tour and like, we're doing, you know.
A
Yeah, maybe for your 30th or something.
B
Yeah. I mean, if someone wants. Invite us to Coachella, we'll go.
A
Yeah, like, maybe.
B
And then what else is coming up? I was, like, considering going to Ultra. That's in the end of March. But I. I don't know. I think it's just gonna be a lot to sort of.
A
It could be a last minute.
B
Yeah. I feel like it might be a last minute decision. I kind of need it to be the type thing where it's like someone's like, we're going with this group. Like, come with us.
A
Yeah.
B
I can't think.
A
You want someone, like, corral everyone.
B
Yes.
A
And like, be like, I'm waiting for that. Yeah.
B
You know, for once I get that.
A
Do you have any summer plans?
B
Oh, and then summer plans. This bachelorette that, you know, I'm concocting, I guess, brewing. I'm trying to think, like, specific weekend Oh, I have weddings. I just have weddings.
A
That's what I'm thinking.
B
Oh, yeah, yeah. We have Gretchen's wedding.
A
Yes. We have Jazz's wedding.
B
Jazz's wedding. We have those.
A
Only weddings we share.
B
Oh. I have my friends whose bachelor just did wedding in North Carolina in April. So I feel like it's like, personal travel, but a lot of it is, like, for.
A
For something.
B
Yeah.
A
Yeah.
B
Does that make sense?
A
Yeah.
B
Not necessarily.
A
Like, because you just want to go. Yeah.
B
But things always come up. But I'm very grateful.
A
Yeah. Yeah. Same. Like, February is live shows. March, I have a couple girls trips. I know. I'm excited. I hate that they're, like, all the same month. But, like, you do what you can.
B
It's hard to find scheduled.
A
Yeah. You know, I've got to really bring it. One weekend, I'm doing Charleston. My friend lives there, and I'll see Clara.
B
Very, very fun.
A
Another weekend, the Hallmates are doing a trip to Austin. Oh, I love Texas and might be going to Turks and Caicos with my high school friend. There's just a. Wow.
B
Lots of groups every.
A
My. Basically, my three friend groups, other than, like, our influencer friend group, were like, I want to do a girls trip. I'm like, I'm not going to say no, but can we do some in April? But then. Yeah, in April. Stagecoach. That's all I have planned for now, which obviously Brooke was invited to. But, like, yes, I think you have a bachelor. You actually have something, though.
B
I have a wedding night weekend.
A
Yeah. That's what it is. But getting that together, and then literally just Gretchen and Max's wedding. Jazz and Kevin's wedding. I also would like to go to Florida at some point. That's really it. I don't have summer plans. Don't know about the Hampton.
B
Yeah. I was gonna say. What about that? Is it?
A
I don't know. Do we want to do it? We have to talk.
B
I know, I know. Well, I feel like the thing with the summer plans, like, the bigger things like, that you have to start planning in January.
A
I know.
B
It's really.
A
When it made me think, I was like, oh, that's this year now.
B
I know. So.
A
But, like, no trip or anything. Like, no big trip. And we're going to Cabo, obviously, which would be so fun.
B
Yeah. Yeah. But I know. I had such a great time in Europe last summer. Like, I was like, oh, I really want to do this every year. But, like, that's just unfeasible, really. But I would love to.
A
You know, I know we do a lot of domestic travel. I feel like a lot of domestic. Yeah.
B
And like Caribbean. Caribbean, yeah, like that sort of stuff. But not necessarily like.
A
Like Europe. Yeah, like the big trip. Yeah, I don't have that.
B

A
Hi, I'm Stassi Schroeder. On my podcast, I share candid updates from my personal life, chat with some of my best friends about what's going on in our lives, give commentary on the latest pop culture headlines, and sometimes deep dive into random topics. I'm obsessed with like, human design. It's a bit all over the place, but that's how I like it. And you will too. Listen to my podcast daci, wherever you get your podcasts.
B
I really like. I have like big aspirations like I really want to go to, you know, Japan, Korea, like, those places. But I just don't, as of now think that's in my 2025. I think it's in my 2026.
A
Yeah.
B
I don't know. Do you have any, like, big place that you're like, I want to go to?
A
Yeah. I mean, anywhere that, like, Ryan's like, down to take off work for. His dream is always to go to Japan. Yeah, actually. But it's just like, if he's, you know, I feel like, yeah, let's see if he takes off. And it wants to do that, but it would if we don't have time that this year we don't have time to plan that with the combination of.
B
Taking days off for weddings and like, it's hard. It's gotta have to pick and choose between, like, your personal wants and desires and like, your friends and family at some points and be like, oh, yeah, there's, you know.
A
Yeah, it's all great problems.
B
100. So. Oh, my God. Blessed to have.
A
But.
B
But it's not a priority. Like, I'm like, I'm not. It's not. I don't have priority that I do it immediately.
A
You know, same. I don't know. It's just not the calling at the moment.
B
Yeah, maybe next year. Yeah, again next year.
A
Maybe next year. I thought this question was funny. If the podcast wasn't called Gals in the go, what would we name it.
B
Today or back then?
A
Let's go today because back then we were like, you know, girlies on this, on the goals.
B
Coffee. Yeah, like, whatever.
A
We definitely today.
B
Oh, my gosh. Well, I told you my concept. Except that we just debris. We just do gals.
A
Oh, yeah. Yeah, we had that drop the on the go. Yeah. Like, gals have it in the gals.
B
But then it needs. It needs more. But that's a working bit.
A
Yeah, like, we're the gals, but it's gal pals.
B
We could do different. Completely different. Let me think. Completely different.
A
Yeah, I did like that.
B
There's been some good new podcasts that are coming up and I'm like, how are people still thinking of original names? And they are doing it.
A
The titles that they're coming up with are so good. Like, their names.
B
A lot of, like, comedians, I think they have funny podcast names that are.
A
Like, Yeah, I don't know. I loved. Not that we'd want our podcast because called something about being mid, but, like, I thought that was so funny. That was so funny. Maybe we'd go off of that energy. Like, Because I feel like one day you and I are, like, super motivated, and the next day it's like, eh, yeah, get them next time.
B
Yes. Like.
A
Like that energy.
B
Totally mediocre or something.
A
Yeah, exactly. No, totally. I would be curious what you gu. Would say, like, this year, if you were to name our show, what it would be.
B
Oh, we can do that.
A
We could do a poll, you know, have them help us out.
B
We should do an Instagram post where we have people help.
A
Yeah, that would be funny. Not that we would change it to this, but, like, you know, just to see what you guys would say. But I do. We keep trying this. I do see a new podcast artwork in our future. Like, my hair is bright blonde short.
B
We took. We have a photo. We have a series of photos. My hair was a little red, but I don't care.
A
Your hair was red. And my hair was in a different way than it normally is. So it's like.
B
But it's such a good.
A
It's a good photo, and I. We'll definitely have to talk about it because it could be good for podcast artwork. It's a good. We're gonna hype up this photo so much.
B
I know. I don't think it's over hyping it, though. Like, we saved it for a reason.
A
No, it's so good. It's like, damn. Should we have posted it or do we keep it?
B
No, I think it's good for big things.
A
It is. I'll have to figure that one out.
B
Yeah. You guys have such good questions.
A
I know we're gonna have to do a part.
B
Two really fantastic. Okay. Two kind of combined best tips for furnishing a new place. It can be overwhelming picking out the new pieces and someone else said, how do you all begin decorating? I love the y'all, by the way. How do y'all begin decorating? Developing your style and not just falling for trends.
A
Love that.
B
Oh, I guess that's like personal style. But let's do it in. Let's do it in the home way.
A
And the home. In the home.
B
Edit in the home. Yes. Inspired by. I like this. Tips for furnishing a new place. It can be overwhelming. It's like, oh, new place. And I feel like it could be so easy to just panic, get stuff on Amazon or be like, oh, I just need to have this now. So whatever. Like, we'll ship the fastest. I've done it too.
A
I've definitely done it. I did it the other day.
B
Really?
A
I wanted something asap. Rockies, you Know, it's what you do. The first thing that comes to my mind is, is picking. Like, I feel like usually it's the couch. Like, picking something like that big first piece, and then you can kind of build out around that. Because you can't really get a coffee table if you don't know how big your couch is. And if it's a low couch or a high couch, like, it's all those things. Like, pick out your couch. Make sure to measure everything. I feel like in college I would just buy something and hope it fits just terrible. And now it's like, no, we're taking out the tape measure.
B
Yeah. And you don't realize, like, the extra, like, 6 inches does make a difference. Like, that's something that I've learned even.
A
Or, like, if the door opens in or if it opens out, if something's going to be in the way, like, those little things are so important.
B
And you think, oh, it's fine. I'll just squeeze around. No, like, that's going to impact your every day.
A
Yeah. You should be looking at how deep it is and, like, how long. Like, literally just measure it. That's such a big, important part.
B
One for me is the. My mom always says the importance of rugs, and I'm always, like, rolling my eyes. But then you actually put a rug in a space and you're like, damn, like, they were right.
A
Like, it pulls it together.
B
It pulls it together. It also separates spaces. If you are in an apartment and you want to maybe separate, Great. Especially if you're in a studio, like 100. Then to separate, like, zones, sort of like, of your space.
A
Yeah, I like that.
B
Designate them. It also just makes it cozier, too. Like, more homey. You could add color if you want in a rug or, like, you know, tie things together. Not that doesn't need to be first, but I would just say, like, prioritize getting them. They can even be cheap.
A
I feel like, no, you have to prioritize them.
B
You need to get rugs.
A
I needed to hear this because I have a rug. I've had a rug for months now for my bedroom, and I just haven't put it down because now my bed's down and has drawers and there's in it. And if you get your rugs first, then they're down. So that when you put your bed, you put your mattress, it's there because nothing did you have to do that.
B
I had to do for my bedroom to, like, get it lifted to put the rug down. And.
A
Yeah, I'm talking to you about that? Because I could. Me and Ryan could not lift the bed.
B
You gotta get some help. I know.
A
Like, there's so many parts of me that's like, I just don't want to put. I just. Maybe I won't.
B
I know. So maybe do the rugs first. Honestly, you could also, like, you do the couch and the rug first. First. I feel like you can kind of work your set around that for decor.
A
Definitely.
B
Like, I'm committing to this, you know, pink pattern rug. Then you can maybe the rest is neutral, like, whatever 100.
A
You can, like, pull colors from the rug or. Yeah, no, I think that's like, start out with a base, like, and then go from there. It's way easier. And like, obviously Pinterest once used. My friend actually text me literally yesterday. She was like, how did you curate your Pinterest? Like, what did you search on Pinterest to find? Find what you like for apartment decor? And I was like, honestly, it's so curated for what I want now. It's hard to remember, but just looking up certain keywords, like chic apartment or bohemian apartment or modern, like, kind of knowing.
B
Figuring out what you like, and then.
A
It slowly becomes your home page and it's everything. It's like, for you, page, same thing.
B
Yeah. Yeah. I feel like mine is definitely, like, developed to my. My taste as well.
A
Definitely.
B
Yeah. And I feel like you need to do that. It's just like, with anything and figuring out what you. You like. I mean.
A
Yeah.
B
I'm sure that we could see a picture right now of a living room and you and I could have different opinions on it. And that's like, where home decor and like, home style, it kind of comes into effect. Right.
A
Like, definitely some people.
B
I had another tip too, about sort of doing all this stuff. Oh. I would say just. No, I always say when people are like, what type of furniture do I. Whatever you need to think about how you live and, like, what you do that is a priority to you, you know? Is it. Is it the desk? Is it it? Oh, like, I. I love having my big bed. Or maybe I don't care. Like, I. I'll do a full bed, like a. A smaller one so I have more floor space. Like, you have to think about kind of what works.
A
Yeah, it's so true. And like, the home edit always talks about zones. Like, oh, like, I need a. A zone for where I put my scrubs for work. Or like, like, what is important to you. Like, don't just take a cookie cutter thing from instagram or from Pinterest. Because maybe you don't need a huge dresser. Maybe you just need your clothes hung up in the closet so you could use that space that a dresser would be for something else. A shoe rack or whatever it may be.
B
That's me with a bar card. I always had a bar card up until this point in my life. I don't. Like, I rarely make drinks. I. Maybe I like to host and entertain, but, like, not even in the way of a bar card. Like, at that point, I would want it to be like, an entire table. Like, so the bar cart, for me, I feel like that was just because I saw it on Pinterest. I was like, it's cool. And what, like, not needed, you know?
A
Yeah, no, I definitely feel you on that. I feel like I had a bar car at one point. Maybe it was in college, and I was like, I don't need this. Like, everything's in the fridge. Or like, the things that you drink aren't exactly.
B
Like, when do you actually make a drink at the bar cart?
A
Yeah, that's so like a movie when the guy goes over to pour himself some whiskey.
B
Maybe you do, though. Some people do. Yeah, some people do. For me, I'd rather have a bookshelf like that. To me, exactly.
A
That's way more on brand.
B
Yeah. And, you know, some people want the nice tv, some people don't. I feel like it varies on that sort of stuff. And take your time if you don't have to rush, because I feel like it can be, like. Like, obviously overwhelming to make all the decisions and also just financially overwhelming. So if you want to, like, space it out, you're good. You know, Rome wasn't built in a day. I, like, we talked about it last week. Like, I go to my friend's apartments and not. Not everything is curated. Pinterest, beautiful. Like, people are, you know, like, that's. That's Pinterest.
A
You know, literally Pinterest. Like, people have a corner in the back of the photo with all the.
B
Exactly.
A
Myself included. Like, you just don't. You don't see it. There's always a corner of clean clothes or.
B
Yeah, there's plenty of blank walls I have that. I'm, like, waiting for the right thing. So I'm not just.
A
Yeah, there's so many blank walls.
B
But it's fun. Honestly, home decor stuff is so fun to me. It feels so fun to, like, your first place. Like, you're independent. Like, oh, it's so. You have to, like, embrace it.
A
Embrace it, enjoy it. Lean into it. It's. You're so right. It's such a treat. Like it's so fun to really curate your own space. And, and I'm constantly finding new little like chachkes and things that I'm like, oh, this would just improve my life a little bit more. Improve the decor or whatever.
B
Yeah, yeah.
A
So yeah. Should we end on like a really silly one?
B
Yeah, sure.
A
It's not that silly, but I love this term people have been using. Do either of the gals participate in gardening? Maybe you saw this one?
B
I did. How did that become the term?
A
I don't know. But it's maybe cuz Tik Tok's weird about. Yeah, I think it's, it's really cool. Also, I was at dinner with someone and he said, oh yeah, I think they're just doing the dishes. And I was like, oh. Like I didn't understand what he meant. He's like, it's like means like having sex.
B
Oh, I've never heard that.
A
We were at a restaurant. I was like, oh, that's like a polite way. He was like, I just try to, if I'm around other people. Yeah, they're oh, they're doing the dishes. Isn't that funny?
B
That is really funny. I, I, I haven't heard that one yet. I like that.
A
I felt so More appropriate versions. They're doing the dishes.
B
Yeah. They're gardening. I partake in gardening a little bit. Not actually really. I would say maybe bi weekly. Bi weekly is every other week, right? Yeah, yeah, maybe.
A
Yeah.
B
No, I wouldn't even say weekly. And I feel like it's a mix for me. Like I like the nowadays drinks. Those are so popular. It's like a liquor alternative. That is cool. I've heard of this like thc basically. And you can control your exact amount. You can mix it into a drink. So like I'm not really drinking a lot these days. So like that's nice for me to have to be like, oh, I'll do that'll play. I'll have a little fun. Yeah. I feel like I have to be kind of particular though because I can get anti social life like when I garden. So I have to when I go when I got.
A
I love it so much.
B
So I have to think about like. But that's the cool thing now in New York that it's legal and there's dispensaries. Like you can go and really, really know what you're getting and like curate and figure out feel safer. Safer. But then also like you could like, literally talk to them. Like, I've said that, like, I need something for sleep. They give you, like, something with melatonin. You're like, hey, I need something. I want something that, like, I can be around my friends and not be, like, in my head over.
A
Yeah.
B
Like, you know, and they're like, here's something fun for you. A little pen or something. So. Yeah, I do not a. It's. I wouldn't even say that. It's every week. I feel like. No, it just depends.
A
It's like, if you're watching a movie, that would be better if you.
B
Yes.
A
We're a little high or something. Or a little.
B
A little garden.
A
A little snow.
B
Yeah, yeah, yeah. It is really fun. And I think it's nice to have, like, a good relation. I'm, like, lucky, I guess, that I have a good relationship with it where I'm like, I could do it. I could not.
A
Yeah.
B
I just feel kind of like, whatever. Yeah.
A
Yeah. How about you garden? I guess. I don't know why I asked this question, because I don't garden. But I just loved the word no. I know I had a really bad experience in college with an edible. And I know everyone's like, well, that's why.
B
But that's why.
A
Sorry. And I. I've never been good with, like, smoking anything or vaping anything, so, like, that's really not an option for me either. And I just. I was complete. Like you said, I was overthinking to the max. There are days where I'll be with someone. They're like, you could really use a hit of something right now. I'm like, I know, but I don't want to risk it.
B
So I. I get it. It.
A
But I. I do. I hope I. For any people I'm around that are gardening when I'm there, I really hope they don't feel uncomfortable. Like, I think people are so fun when they're gardening. I. I have a few friends that, like, I'm so funny to them when they're gardening. I'm like, I love being around.
B
Yeah.
A
I think I'm the funniest person alive, for sure. So that's the update there.
B
I'm here on it. It's nice that you don't just, like, back in my day, like, we had. It was like, really just the. The leaf. Like, the. You know, there wasn't necessarily. At least if you wanted an edible, like, you had to make it up in the kitchen yourself. Like, there. There were like, now there's so many options. I mean, the gummies, the, the like little sour worms.
A
Like there's everything I know, right?
B
It doesn't need to be like. I feel like those were my bad experiences. Gardening too is when like I did a smoking thing out of like in high school or even like college. Like when it would be like, oh, they would take out like. I don't know if I could say this without. I don't think I'll get flag for saying, yeah, the bong. And I like, those things are so scary. I had the worst experiences with those, like, truly when I was like, you know, sitting there, like counting my breaths, being like, how do I breathe? How do I breathe? But it's not all like that. So I feel like I need to say that to people not to encourage you to, but just because I think that's what, like I don't want to say parents, but maybe an older stereotype maybe of it and it's not.
A
So that's true.
B
Oh, you know, but do what works for you. I just feel like it's really normalized now. I feel like on Tick Tock a lot of people are talking about the nowadays and the.
A
Yeah.
B
And the can they have like the sparkling drinks? It's a nice like alcohol alternative. I'll say that. That.
A
Yeah, I think that's a great thing if it works for you. So yeah, that's that. We have so many more questions to answer, but we have just ran over time.
B
We're out.
A
