Danielle Peazer
It's Brooke, Danielle and Katie back for her.
Brooke Michio
We're debating if it's her third or fourth appearance now on the pod. It's Katie Bellotti. What's up?
Danielle Peazer
Thanks for having me gals.
Katie Bellotti
Thank you so much for being here on this blistery cold day in New York City.
Danielle Peazer
I saw some snowflakes. No, you didn't. When I was walking in, I meant to say that.
Katie Bellotti
Oh my goodness.
Danielle Peazer
It's so exciting.
Katie Bellotti
Exciting.
Danielle Peazer
Yeah. Some flurries are.
Katie Bellotti
Wow.
Brooke Michio
There's a. Definitely a chill in the air. But we all, we kind of didn't like say the vibes. We all kind of dressed the same vibe a little bit. YouTube especially. I feel like it's giving cabin trip in a good way.
Katie Bellotti
Yeah. Giving cabin trip which we've all done together before. We have, we've done all different terrains together. We've done.
Brooke Michio
We've had some amazing. Yeah, we've gone coastal, we've gone, we've gone up, we've gone down.
Katie Bellotti
Yeah. We haven't done international.
Danielle Peazer
Oh wait.
Katie Bellotti
Yes we have.
Danielle Peazer
What have we not done though? What kind of like a Europe.
Katie Bellotti
We haven't done Europe.
Brooke Michio
Like, like a multiple, like country type like in one trip.
Danielle Peazer
Yeah, we should do Italy less.
Katie Bellotti
Brooke and I were just talking about last week how, like, we just don't have a Europe trip in the books at all. Yeah, well, you're dating someone from Europe.
Brooke Michio
Yeah, aren't you? Are you planning to go?
Danielle Peazer
Oh, we are gonna go back to England in the spring at some point. Not sure when, but I have some things on my list. I really want to go to the Cotswolds.
Katie Bellotti
Oh, my gosh.
Brooke Michio
What is that? Forgive me for. It's uncultured.
Danielle Peazer
Yeah, it's pretty much. It's a. There's a lot going on there, but it's. It's kind of like a cottagey feel.
Brooke Michio
Okay.
Danielle Peazer
Village type of feel. But there's a bunch of different areas in the Cosmo. Very nice little, like, you know, cute towns. And then bath. I really want to go to bath, so I have some things on my list. And then, you know, Jack, like, you know, he'll have a say, but, like, the. There's things I need to do.
Katie Bellotti
I love that. And while I think actually 99 of our listeners know who you are, I do want to give you a little intro. So, Katie Belotti, we met through YouTube, literally, years ago. Like, that's probably what we talked in our first episode with you. Do you want to sell everyone, like, your vibe?
Danielle Peazer
My vibe right now is.
Katie Bellotti
No.
Danielle Peazer
I. I feel like it's so funny because I. You know, I think all three of us can agree, like, when we introduce ourselves, when we describe what we do, and it's. It's kind of fluctuated over the years, but I really like to think that the reason it's fluctuated is because I have just changed over the years. So really what it is now is still documenting my day to day. But it isn't just life in New York City anymore. Like, I'm kind of settling into certain niches and things that I like. I like storytelling. I like history. I like. Cooking Is a new one. That's a new arc.
Brooke Michio
I like that vertical for you. I do. Like, a content pillar. Cooking, history, cocktails.
Katie Bellotti
Like, pretty cocktails.
Danielle Peazer
I feel like I just like classic things.
Katie Bellotti
Yes.
Danielle Peazer
In life. A good drink, a good dress, a good beef dish.
Katie Bellotti
You're kind of Sarah Jessica Parker energy in a good way.
Danielle Peazer
Thank you.
Brooke Michio
Yeah.
Katie Bellotti
Like. Or Carrie Bradshaw, I guess I should say.
Danielle Peazer
Yeah.
Katie Bellotti
A little bit of that energy with a little Charlotte.
Danielle Peazer
A little Charlotte. Yeah. I feel like I'm a blend, definitely.
Brooke Michio
I feel like that's what everybody wants. To be a blunt, like, not nes. You want the good traits of Carrie in The sense of like the independence, I guess. And like I'm not a carry, really.
Katie Bellotti
I. I think it's so annoying when people are like Carrie. Like, I understand she doesn't make the best decisions, but like she is the star of the show. We can't hate her.
Brooke Michio
No, I know. I feel like when you re watch with the lens of Carrie sucks. Like she really does suck. But like now that I know it. But in upon watching the first time, that wasn't necessarily exactly frame of. Yeah, right.
Katie Bellotti
Funny. And did you guys see Charlotte came out throw on podcast. Charlotte.
Brooke Michio
Charlotte.
Katie Bellotti
Kristen Davis.
Danielle Peazer
No, I didn't.
Brooke Michio
Oh my gosh. How did this not come across your desk?
Katie Bellotti
Do not see this.
Brooke Michio
Wow. It's called are you a Charlotte or you're a Charlotte?
Katie Bellotti
Are you a Charlotte?
Brooke Michio
And she's rewatched. It's like a rewatch podcast.
Danielle Peazer
And how funny is that? Because. And just like that, the spin off is Carrie having a podcast and like Charlotte.
Katie Bellotti
Right.
Danielle Peazer
Charlotte York would never know have a podcast.
Brooke Michio
Absolutely not. Absolutely not.
Danielle Peazer
Scary.
Brooke Michio
No. Kristen Davis said Checkmate. Jessica Parker coming in hot.
Katie Bellotti
Really highly of sjp. I listened to the first episode. You guys need to go listen to it, like as soon as we stop recording.
Brooke Michio
Do you have to watch video too, or is audio only okay?
Katie Bellotti
I. I got through it just fine.
Brooke Michio
You managed though.
Katie Bellotti
But I did see a TikTok clip of it, so it was nice to have that visual. And I pictured her while I was listening because I saw that clip for sure.
Danielle Peazer
Yeah.
Brooke Michio
So did she just talk about the first episode of the show?
Katie Bellotti
Yeah, she rewatched the pilot and she was like, I haven't watched it literally in 20 years. It's. Oh my God. I don't want to spoil it. It's so interesting. Like hearing the behind the scenes.
Danielle Peazer
I'm gonna listen to love it. Well, it is interesting. There's so much lore. Because I believe. Quote me, I don't want to say the wrong thing, but I think I'm pretty sure that the three of them. So in the show, Miranda, Charlotte and Carrie all actually lived together in an apartment. Like the actual ladies while they were filming.
Katie Bellotti
No way. No. Kim Cattrall.
Danielle Peazer
So that's the. The tea.
Katie Bellotti
That is.
Danielle Peazer
She wasn't involved for one reason or another. This is truly just what I've heard. I don't know if it's actually true.
Brooke Michio
Speculation.
Danielle Peazer
Yeah, I believe it though.
Katie Bellotti
Like Gossip Girl. A lot of them lived together at the start because they all auditioned in la, right?
Danielle Peazer
Yeah.
Brooke Michio
They're LA based actors.
Danielle Peazer
Yeah.
Brooke Michio
Yeah.
Danielle Peazer
Over well, especially with the first season of any show, you don't know if it's going to continue.
Brooke Michio
True.
Danielle Peazer
So, you know, anyway.
Katie Bellotti
That is wild.
Brooke Michio
Katie. A little fun, Katie. Back to the day.
Danielle Peazer
I love a little fun.
Katie Bellotti
Yeah, I love.
Brooke Michio
So good at those, though. So full of knowledge. You are. I feel like you do really well in like a trivia show.
Danielle Peazer
No, it's just. Oh, Jeopardy.
Katie Bellotti
Do you love Jeopardy.
Danielle Peazer
Jeopardy.
Katie Bellotti
Wait, yeah. You posted because you started watching the pop culture Jeopardy.
Danielle Peazer
Pop culture Jeopardy. I've heard mixed reviews. People don't like Colin Jost as a host, which is funny, but I really enjoy it. And you know who enjoys it the most? Jack.
Katie Bellotti
Really?
Danielle Peazer
My boyfriend.
Brooke Michio
Jack loves the pop culture one. Specifically.
Danielle Peazer
Yes, yes, he loves. He gets every answer wrong, but he still loves it.
Katie Bellotti
But it's so fun. Can we just say that I. Because I don't think you've been on Gals and the Ghost since you started dating Jack.
Brooke Michio
Yes. We need to film a new character unlock.
Katie Bellotti
Yeah, new character. That's who Jack is. Oh, my God.
Danielle Peazer
So actually fun enough, funny enough. We just became Facebook official today.
Brooke Michio
Oh, my gosh.
Katie Bellotti
Oh, my God.
Danielle Peazer
I have to go.
Katie Bellotti
Like the post.
Danielle Peazer
We started dating, like almost two years ago, I feel like, at this point. And we just became Facebook official today.
Brooke Michio
Are you Facebook official?
Katie Bellotti
I don't think so.
Brooke Michio
Are you? I'm not. No, I'm not.
Katie Bellotti
I think I have it as in a relationship, though.
Brooke Michio
Let me go give it a. I have any. Like, I don't use my Facebook.
Danielle Peazer
Like, me neither. But the thing is, is I remember this is my first boyfriend, my first relationship.
Katie Bellotti
Oh, my God.
Danielle Peazer
Started dating. Yes, we're official.
Katie Bellotti
Oh, my God.
Brooke Michio
What are the pictures that come up? Or is it just like the. Like I'm obsessed. It's like both of you guys.
Danielle Peazer
I actually just changed my profile picture today. So here's how it all all began.
Katie Bellotti
Amazing.
Danielle Peazer
I was looking through footage from a trip that Jack and I went on literally like a year ago because I had this idea to make a tick tock.
Brooke Michio
It's.
Danielle Peazer
You'll see it. Oh, maybe not.
Brooke Michio
Well, we'll see.
Danielle Peazer
It's anywhere you can find.
Brooke Michio
Short form.
Danielle Peazer
No, I'm anywhere you can find it. So I found. I was looking through these video clips and I showed Jack. I'm like, look at, look at this picture of you when you were tan. It's like, you know, dead of winter.
Katie Bellotti
Yeah.
Danielle Peazer
And Jack, he doesn't like, you know, care about. He's not very vain, like, in that way. But he saw the picture of him and he's like, can you please send that to me? Like, I want to make that my profile picture.
Katie Bellotti
This is a big deal.
Danielle Peazer
He hasn't updated his profile picture in like five years. He just suddenly decided to update his profile picture to that photo. And then while we were doing that, he was like, wait, are we even official on Facebook? I'm like, I haven't thought about FBO in like 10 years. But I remember seeing, you know, my friends get into relationships and it being such a huge moment to see that notification come across my desk, like so and so and so and so are in a relationship.
Katie Bellotti
So true.
Danielle Peazer
Or it's complicated.
Katie Bellotti
Yeah.
Brooke Michio
Oh my God.
Katie Bellotti
Why did we ever have that as an option?
Brooke Michio
I know, wild.
Katie Bellotti
But do it like middle school. Like it's complicated.
Brooke Michio
So are people liking the relationship status though and like commenting on it? Like, so happy for you too.
Danielle Peazer
We're getting buzz from people I have spoken to in.
Brooke Michio
So I'm obsessed with that.
Danielle Peazer
Like people that just like, don't know me anymore that I'm still friends with.
Brooke Michio
Yeah, they're like, happy to see you found someone.
Danielle Peazer
No, literally, I'm like, oh my God, I'm getting some buzz.
Brooke Michio
No, I. Does Jack use Facebook?
Danielle Peazer
No.
Brooke Michio
Oh, so that's actually even more fun.
Katie Bellotti
You know what he means though? It's like, oh God, that would be a great profile picture. I'm sure my last one isn't good. Like it's old. Like it's. Yeah. Sometimes you see a photo and you're like, that's a good profile. Profile photo. And then I go in and I kind of change everything.
Danielle Peazer
I mean, I haven't even changed my Instagram profile picture. I still have a bob. I need to change that.
Brooke Michio
By the way, I like this hair length on you. I have to say, I know that people like, I don't know if you feel that it's in between, but I think it's perfect. Like I saw you say, like, should I grow it or. I think it's great.
Danielle Peazer
We are at the. The awkward length.
Katie Bellotti
But no, I don't think it's awkward cuz you. It looks like you have layers.
Danielle Peazer
So I got some layers that's gorge spliced in because it was all one length. I don't know, I just, I feel like the less I do, the better I look. I've realized as I've grown, that's something I've like. The less, you know, really good life lesson. Less. No blonde, no highlights, no nothing.
Brooke Michio
Just Katie. I couldn't agree more. No more big Decisions. Like, honestly, I found, even with makeup, like, I'm like, when I stray so far and I'm like, let me try something different. I'm like, I just like the products I like.
Danielle Peazer
Yeah.
Brooke Michio
You know, and, like, what works, works.
Katie Bellotti
Definitely.
Danielle Peazer
Well, your hair looks fabulous right now too.
Brooke Michio
It's a. It's a good, good color, you know, I feel.
Danielle Peazer
And the styling. What did you do? How did you make it?
Brooke Michio
Oh, my gosh, guys, I finally figured out how to use my Dyson Air app. You want to hack moose?
Katie Bellotti
You have to use, like, oh, so wet hair. Or, like.
Brooke Michio
Yes, I'm talking about. So yesterday, I gave myself, like, a proper blowout with the Dyson Air wrap. So I use, like, the one of. What is that one? Like, the circular brush.
Katie Bellotti
Just like. Yeah, like the blowout brush.
Brooke Michio
I guess I use the curling one after that, which I feel like that falls, but it's more so just to, like, get it really, like, whatever. But to get the volume on the top, you have to use mousse when your hair is wet.
Danielle Peazer
Wow.
Brooke Michio
And you really flip your hair back and forth. I saw a girl on TikTok doing it. I was like, I. I'll put it to the test.
Katie Bellotti
Yeah.
Brooke Michio
And I realized that it really is.
Katie Bellotti
Wow.
Brooke Michio
So it's not, like, flat to your head. You know what I'm talking about?
Katie Bellotti
Yes.
Danielle Peazer
That's the worst. I feel like my hair definitely.
Brooke Michio
No, it doesn't. You have very thick hair.
Katie Bellotti
I feel like you have, like, a definitely.
Brooke Michio
Yeah.
Danielle Peazer
Wow.
Katie Bellotti
You don't think you have thick hair?
Danielle Peazer
Well, one hairdresser one time told me that I had thin hair.
Brooke Michio
That's just simply not true.
Katie Bellotti
Yeah.
Brooke Michio
They're trying to sell you on something.
Danielle Peazer
Yeah. And then one hairdresser got mad. Like, I saw this woman when I was home in Maryland because I was just. I needed. I was desperate for a little bit of a trim. And she was like, ugh. Did you box dye your hair recently? It's so dry. I'm like, what are you talking about?
Katie Bellotti
Yeah. By.
Danielle Peazer
She's like, do you want to do a moisture treatment?
Brooke Michio
I'm like, oh, that's what it is.
Katie Bellotti
Okay. Notice.
Danielle Peazer
Okay. Like, I just don't trust anyone anymore.
Katie Bellotti
No.
Danielle Peazer
Everyone's just trying to sell me something.
Brooke Michio
I.
Katie Bellotti
Every single person is.
Brooke Michio
I am completely aligned. Yeah, I know. But at the same time, like, I'm so easy to sell to. Like, you can convince me. Like, if we talked about this the other episode, like, you know, if you're planning on buying one thing, but you're a good sales associate. I'll buy 10. Like, you know, I want to support you and your business, but, like, you know.
Katie Bellotti
Yeah, true.
Brooke Michio
Support me, buddy.
Katie Bellotti
Actually, speaking of all that and going back to Sex in the City, did you guys see the news about the carries townhome?
Danielle Peazer
What about it?
Brooke Michio
They're roping off there.
Katie Bellotti
Well, there's rope there now. Yeah, but they are gonna put an iron gate because people were, like, jumping over the rope and, like, sitting on the stairs and, like, laying across. But she was saying a story about how the owner of this town home that, like, they filmed in Sex in the City and it's in the West Village, and, like, everyone knows where it is. You go by, take photos, whatever. But she was saying in the article that she. The guy that came to her, like, the location scout, he had just graduated from nyu, and he said to her, like, please, please, I need to secure this destination or I'm gonna lose my job. And she felt so bad, so she let it happen. And now she's, like, regretting it because it's just like, they've ruined her life.
Brooke Michio
I mean, not actually, but, like, kind of.
Katie Bellotti
It's just, like, such a problem. Her tenants are always complaining. And I was like, that's so funny though. The sales associate got her. He was like, please, I'm gonna lose my job. Like, please.
Brooke Michio
Now it's a public landmark. It's literally on Google Maps. Carrie Bradshaw's apartment. Like, it's a tourist destination. You come to town, you go stop by.
Danielle Peazer
Maybe they take it off Google Maps. Like, why is it on Google Maps if she's that upset?
Katie Bellotti
Yeah, I feel like she could control that, but apparently it's not for sure yet. Like, she's trying to make sure an iron gate happens, but, like, HBO or someone's pushing back because they do still film there sometimes.
Danielle Peazer
Yeah.
Katie Bellotti
And just like that.
Brooke Michio
Yeah.
Katie Bellotti
So idk.
Danielle Peazer
Interesting.
Katie Bellotti
There's a little fun fact. I'm trying to read more articles, sort of like. Really? Yeah, really.
Brooke Michio
What are the sources?
Katie Bellotti
Cosmopolitan came from Snapchat. And then I read the article.
Brooke Michio
I'm dead.
Katie Bellotti
Well, then I clicked into it.
Brooke Michio
No, that's good.
Katie Bellotti
You know when sometimes you just watch the story.
Danielle Peazer
Yeah.
Brooke Michio
It's like the headline gets you. It's like, yeah. Oh, my gosh. What? What a horror. And then, like, you click on it like, oh, her makeup product shattered. Like, it's like something so crazy to get you to click on it.
Katie Bellotti
I lied, though. I lied. Actually, it was better. This one is like, it's because I never do this. I'm still subscribed to this, the skim. Do you guys remember?
Danielle Peazer
Yes. Wow.
Brooke Michio
Wow. You're so millennial.
Katie Bellotti
I know. I used to, like, love it in high school. Like opening up my class in class and like, reading.
Brooke Michio
Yes.
Katie Bellotti
Anyways, no, the subject of the email was like, Carrie Stoop is gone and so obviously I'm locked in. It was like the very bottom article.
Danielle Peazer
Yeah.
Katie Bellotti
But then I clicked into it, so actually that's a verified source, but I need to get back in. I think it's so interesting. Like, I loved being able to say that I know you all the time. You all. I just love that knowledge.
Danielle Peazer
Yeah, well, my, my facts are from Reddit, so.
Katie Bellotti
Oh, it's so crazy that you go.
Danielle Peazer
On Reddit, Reddit and then all that's interesting Dot com. Oh, I love that website. All that's Interesting Dot com. If you ever just like, want something to scratch your brain in a good way. All that's interesting Dot com.

Danielle Peazer
Yes.
Katie Bellotti
And because Katie is so fun. So Brooke was out of town this weekend, but me, Katie, and Clara went on a walk, like, after breakfast. And Katie looks at the city so differently. It's beautiful. I'm, like, looking at the shops. I'm like, oh, damn, they're closed. And Katie's like, but look at that building.
Danielle Peazer
Just. Just look up. You know, you romanticize New York City, too.
Brooke Michio
I.
Katie Bellotti
Too. But it's so beautiful what you do. Like, I.
Danielle Peazer
More so just think. I'm like, what happened here? Because, you know, I look at a building, I'm like, what went down in this place?
Katie Bellotti
Someone's cooked here.
Danielle Peazer
This literally, someone's cooked here.
Katie Bellotti
Yeah.
Danielle Peazer
Because this. You know, this has been here. And I have this app where you can see photos of the city. Like, it's. There's a. It's a map format, and you click in. There's not one for every single, you know, square inch of New York City. A photo. But if you click into where you. Where you are on a given street, it'll show you photos from the New York Public Library database of what the street looked like in X year. And it's usually like, 1920s, like, 1930s. And there's photos. It's literally blowing. So I see it in my head, but it's. I think it's nypd. No, well, wait.
Katie Bellotti
Public library.
Danielle Peazer
D. Nypld, not nypd. Nypld. I'm pretty sure. But if you just Google New York Public Library database App obsessed.
Brooke Michio
We'll put in the newsletter. Yeah, put in the newsletter, I have to say, because that's like, I feel like, you know, underground. Like, information.
Danielle Peazer
Yeah. But it's, like, not that hard to, like.
Brooke Michio
I think people believe that I do.
Danielle Peazer
More work than I actually do. But I do have some books that I've bought recently that, like, they kind of, like, double click on different neighborhoods and show you more about a given neighborhood.
Brooke Michio
Oh, that's cool.
Danielle Peazer
And, I mean, let's not forget my ghost tour for my birthday.
Brooke Michio
Yeah. I was so fortunate to be able to attend.
Danielle Peazer
Brooke attended the ghost store.
Brooke Michio
It was. No, it was more. It wasn't like. And they haunt you today. And also, like, this is, you know, the. Who lived here? That was iconic. And this is what this is. People say. But It's. It was less like creepy crawly and more like history based in history.
Danielle Peazer
It was at night, it was, like, dark, and it was Halloween time. So that was kind of what made it spooky, but it wasn't really that spooky. I'm not easily spooked, so. But it's. It was essentially a tour of the West Village, but of the ghosts of West Village. So, like, you know, this very famous person was Edgar and, you know, Edgar Allan Poe, and he lived here and then like Washington Square park and like, this used to be this. And it was really eye opening. Really.
Brooke Michio
For sure.
Danielle Peazer
Yeah.
Brooke Michio
I enjoyed it. I would recommend. I mean, it was fun, like a walking tour of the city, but I would recommend people to do it. Oh, yeah. The first time I. I had ever done well growing up, I guess, like with field trips and stuff.
Katie Bellotti
True.
Brooke Michio
Yeah. Did you guys ever do, like a high school trip to, like, that was like, driving distance or something? Like, we went to Philadelphia and I.
Katie Bellotti
Remember you told me that when we were in Philly, they did, like, when.
Brooke Michio
We were in middle school is like, middle. Big middle school trip. We're going to Philly and, like, whole.
Katie Bellotti
Going to see the Liberty Bell goes.
Brooke Michio
Yeah. And you could go see the Liberty Bell. And then when I was in fifth grade, we went to Gettysburg.
Katie Bellotti
We saw, like, Beauty, where you live in Long Island. Like, you can get so many places. Yeah, we didn't. We didn't have all those iconic places in Florida.
Brooke Michio
No. I guess they're like, we go to the beach.
Danielle Peazer
Let's go.
Katie Bellotti
We go to the aquarium. And like.
Brooke Michio
Oh, that's fun. That's a fun trip. No. Did you do anything like that, Kate?
Danielle Peazer
We went to dc.
Katie Bellotti
Oh, there you go.
Danielle Peazer
Maryland.
Brooke Michio
So great.
Danielle Peazer
But I used to go. We went to the Newseum, the Newseum.
Katie Bellotti
I literally had to. Yeah, I heard Mus.
Danielle Peazer
The Museum of News, they went under. They're shuttered. They're gone.
Katie Bellotti
No, they're shuttered.
Danielle Peazer
And I am shook because it was like, I just can't believe that a museum could go under like that. Just like, I can't comprehend that.
Brooke Michio
I feel like they're expensive to run, I guess.
Danielle Peazer
But there was a whole newsroom.
Brooke Michio
Oh, my gosh.
Danielle Peazer
Exhibit in there. And you could sit down and, like, pretend like you're on air and you could be the weather girl.
Brooke Michio
Stop.
Danielle Peazer
It was. I like core memory. I still have the video somewhere. I paid for it. My mom gave me a budget and I blew it.
Brooke Michio
That's. No, I would. I would definitely blow it off.
Danielle Peazer
I Wanted to be a weather woman. That was.
Katie Bellotti
No. That sounds so fun.
Danielle Peazer
Yeah.
Katie Bellotti
That's. Wow. Did you guys ever have anything like Enterprise Village or, like, where you went to, like, a community, like, a fake community, and you had a job?
Danielle Peazer
No.
Brooke Michio
So I have a memory of this, but I can't tell if it's, like, Mandela effect, like, I think that it happened, or is that the right term for it? Like. Or, like, if it's a fake memory or if it actually happened, because I feel like I see pictures of these things. Like. Yeah, they're like, oh, remember when I'm like, did I actually go to that, or is that just, like, me convincing myself? I did.
Danielle Peazer
I'm that way a lot, too, from childhood.
Brooke Michio
I know. I feel like those went out of business, too, though.
Katie Bellotti
I know. I bet they did. And those were the best days.
Brooke Michio
Where did you work? Do you remember?
Katie Bellotti
Years. One year I was a bank teller, and then the other.
Brooke Michio
Are you randomly assigned?
Katie Bellotti
Yeah. Yeah. And then one year I worked at McDonald's. McDonald's is, like, where you wanted to work, like.
Brooke Michio
Oh, yeah, of course. Yeah.
Danielle Peazer
I'm just picturing. Did you. Did you dress up?
Katie Bellotti
Oh, yeah, we had a uniform.
Brooke Michio
Oh, my God, it was so. Man. No, I definitely would remember if I did it. This. That's deep. Like.
Danielle Peazer
Yeah, you're like, all right, maybe we.
Brooke Michio
Were assigned a uniform. Like, it was.
Katie Bellotti
Or maybe it was, like, a vest. No, that's still, like, something. Oh, my God. But it reminded me of the news channel thing. I actually. There was that, too. There was, like, a reporter situation. I'm so jealous.
Brooke Michio
Yeah, that's pretty cool. I guess they can't let you choose because maybe, like, they would be, like. Yeah, like, really popular ones. So they're like, got a randomly assign.
Katie Bellotti
So I have to check back in with the middle school girlies.
Brooke Michio
Yeah.
Katie Bellotti
Touch with them.
Brooke Michio
Yeah.
Katie Bellotti
So funny. So, Katie Bellotti.
Brooke Michio
Katie. Wait, did we even veer so far from even who Jack is, though? That's how we veered down.
Katie Bellotti
Did you just say how you met your boyfriend Jack? Like, just the quickest. Also, Katie has an amazing podcast with her best friends called Match Made in Manhattan that Brooke and I both listen to every single, every week.
Brooke Michio
It's one of two podcasts, I think, that I listen to. Truly every.
Katie Bellotti
Truly every.
Brooke Michio
Yeah.
Katie Bellotti
Because it's just that good. So obviously all the chronicles are on the podcast, but just a little something. Something about how you guys met and everything.
Danielle Peazer
Yeah, so we met a year and a half ago. Like, almost two years. It, like, feels like about two years.
Katie Bellotti
Yeah.
Danielle Peazer
20, 23 on hinge. We are a Hinge success story. It works, ladies and gentlemen. Love to hear it. I will say it was my last date before summer because it was right before we were going to the Hamptons, and I. I mean, the Hamptons is a magical place. You meet so many people. I was like, why on earth would I want to be tied down in the Hamptons? Famous last words. Went on one last date. Like, one last hurrah date. And one thing you need to know about me is I wear a lot of dresses. I wear a lot of, like, fun. Like, I like to, you know, wear, like, loose, twirlable outfits. Like, just comfy, but still, like, very cute and dressed up. And that's just, like, how I like to go through life. I rarely wear pants. Rarely wear jeans, actually. More so now. I wear them more now. But at the time, I didn't. And for some reason, I was just so, like, weird about this last date before summer. I, like. I wanted to be a different person, I guess, for some reason. So I went in, in a crop top and jeans to this bar and ordered a margarita.
Katie Bellotti
It was the weirdest margarita.
Brooke Michio
That's, like, not Katie. That's like Kathy.
Katie Bellotti
Like, I feel like that's like a Katrina. Like, that's totally Katrina.
Danielle Peazer
No, it's. It was an alter ego. I don't know who she was.
Katie Bellotti
I'm picturing it because you have that photo that Colby took of you, right? Going into the bar.
Brooke Michio
You're just like, I'm. I'm gonna let my hair down. Like, I feel like I could picture you.
Danielle Peazer
No, I don't know what I. What I was on. I don't know. But anyway, so went on this final date. We had met on Hinge. I actually had very low hopes for the date because he had misspelled my name in the first message to me.
Katie Bellotti
Oh, right.
Danielle Peazer
He. You know, just backing up a little bit. He had reached out. Well, I actually liked him first. But he messaged me first and said, hi, K A T I E. Which I was like, God, I was in, like, the realm of, like, I. Men are so dumb.
Brooke Michio
Like, yeah, see the name? That's up.
Danielle Peazer
Hinge was really grinding my gears. I had been on so many just terrible dates or just, like, dates that I'm like, that was such a waste of time. Like, why did I. Why was I not just home? Like, why did I go? Why did I do it? Why am I even trying? So I was down in the dumps, feeling that way. And then this guy Misspells my name. And I'm like, my God, people are so stupid. I didn't even respond. I just, like, went on with my life. And he then doubled down and was like, I am really sorry for speaking, spelling your name wrong. Will you go on a date with.
Katie Bellotti
I forgot about that.
Danielle Peazer
So I already had very low hopes going into it, because I'm like, okay, the man is an idiot. He's dumb.
Katie Bellotti
The man is an idiot.
Danielle Peazer
The man can't spell. So went on the date in my jeans, very out of character.
Katie Bellotti
Ordered a margarita.
Danielle Peazer
Margarita. Like, this is just so not me.
Katie Bellotti
You're like, he doesn't. He just spelled my name wrong. Like, he's gonna get Katie instead with an ie.
Danielle Peazer
I was. I don't. I was like, maybe I'll just try something different. Like, maybe this is my problem anyway, but low key. Long story short, we are. We became official about, like, I don't know, three weeks later, which is crazy. Like, it moved very Weeks later. Yeah.
Brooke Michio
I. Yeah. Because we're in the Hamptons.
Danielle Peazer
Yeah.
Katie Bellotti
My God, it felt like at least a month, but I guess a month.
Danielle Peazer
And three weeks or not really. Like, yeah. Like, I think it was maybe like, a little over three maybe.
Brooke Michio
Because how many and a half you guys hung out before we went to the Hamptons? Like, a few.
Danielle Peazer
Like, every day. That was it.
Katie Bellotti
Maybe.
Brooke Michio
Yeah, that's what it was. Yeah.
Danielle Peazer
Like, yeah, it moved very quickly, but I. I really.
Brooke Michio
And I ha.
Danielle Peazer
Hate when people say this, but, like, when it's the right person, you know? You know, I will say there are times, like, I feel like I knew very quickly that he was my person. But then, of course, like, there were moments of doubt creeping in or, like, feelings of, you know, because I. I just turned 29, I'm like, this is getting very real. And there were moments where I was just back and forth. My mind. I'm like, should I be settling down right now? Should I be, like, continuing to.
Katie Bellotti
You just turned 28 to correct you.
Danielle Peazer
Yeah. At the time.
Katie Bellotti
Oh, you mean. I just.
Danielle Peazer
Right now.
Katie Bellotti
Okay.
Danielle Peazer
I'm 29, so, you know. But easing into the late 20s.
Brooke Michio
I see. So over the course of the relationship you're talking about. Yeah. Yeah.
Danielle Peazer
But then, you know, you start to realize you. Yeah. You just start to realize that this is your person, and, like, you need to just do what's right for right now, and the future will worry about itself.
Katie Bellotti
Yeah.
Brooke Michio
That's really nice.
Danielle Peazer
And we just moved in together.
Brooke Michio
Yay. Big move.
Katie Bellotti
We love Jack.
Danielle Peazer
Long story short, moment. But he is a Wonderful person. Hey, we are like the same age. By, like, maybe off two months. He is from England. He. I don't know, works in sales.
Brooke Michio
He's got a steady job and he's reliable.
Danielle Peazer
No, he's. He's, you know, funny and very thoughtful.
Katie Bellotti
And he's so funny.
Brooke Michio
Yeah, he's really funny. Just a great, great personality and. Yeah, a real. A real mate.
Katie Bellotti
Yeah.
Brooke Michio
Does he say mate?
Danielle Peazer
He says mate a lot, but I think. I think it's like an everybody over there thing.
Brooke Michio
Yeah.
Danielle Peazer
Mate.
Brooke Michio
Good, good, good. Mate, like.
Danielle Peazer
Yeah, good day.
Katie Bellotti
Good.
Brooke Michio
That's.
Danielle Peazer
That's more down under.
Brooke Michio
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Danielle Peazer
But, yeah, that is so exciting.
Brooke Michio
Big, big move.
Danielle Peazer
And he gets along with both of your boyfriends?
Brooke Michio
Yeah, he does.
Katie Bellotti
They went golfing the other day. Really? Yeah, like last weekend.
Brooke Michio
Oh, that's so fun. Where did it. Where do they go? Off.
Katie Bellotti
They went to Chelsea Pierce. They went and like this. We were literally all together and then they were like, we're gonna go play golf. I mean, kay are like, okay, bye.
Danielle Peazer
Well, we were at so Fun brunch, and all of a sudden they were just like, so we're gonna. I'm like, oh, cool.
Katie Bellotti
Okay. I feel like it's an activity stuff to clean. I was like, sure.
Danielle Peazer
I'm like, goodbye, See ya. And then Jack text me, goes, we're gonna go play pool at Danielle's. I'm like, oh, does she know you're coming?
Katie Bellotti
That was a whole red. This was a Brooke Michio red panic. Ryan text.
Brooke Michio
Oh, wow.
Katie Bellotti
Which I appreciated the text because he's done this before where he just, like, bring someone up to my apartment without telling me any.
Brooke Michio
That's a crazy thing.
Katie Bellotti
It's. Well, we've discussed it. It doesn't happen because I was like, that's actually wild. Like, when we live together, like, you cannot do that. Like, you simply. But anyways, he was. I love Jack. Nothing to do with Jack. But he texted me. Me and Jack are headed back now. He didn't say anything about pool. He's like, me and Jack are headed back now. And I was like, bird panic. I was literally in the middle of filming an ad like I had all over my apartment. And I was like, maybe could you.
Danielle Peazer
Guys go play pool?
Katie Bellotti
And he was like, perfect. But I'm sure that's what they were planning on doing. Maybe. I don't know.
Danielle Peazer
But no, I don't like people coming over unannounced.
Katie Bellotti
No.
Danielle Peazer
I think it's very similar to my fear of spontaneous FaceTimes.
Katie Bellotti
Yes.
Danielle Peazer
Yeah, they're scary something about me. Like, I get that if it's like, oh, in an hour, do you want to chat? Or like, whatever. Something like that. But I don't even. I just don't think I FaceTime at all. Really?
Brooke Michio
Yeah. I think you're not a face. I think you're barely even a call person. Aren't you more of a.
Katie Bellotti
Every now and then I'm like, katie, I. It would just be so much easier if I call you.
Brooke Michio
Yeah.
Danielle Peazer
And that's fine.
Katie Bellotti
And you're like, yeah, of course.
Danielle Peazer
Like, out of the blue.
Brooke Michio
I know what you mean. How did people do it before texting.
Danielle Peazer
Or when you had. Like, texting was a really laborious. You know, you have to do three taps per letter.
Brooke Michio
Forget it.
Danielle Peazer
I remember trying to hear that from me. I remember trying to do that under my desk in school. Like, yes. But you know, calling was really the only way to do it. Like, oh my God, I would.
Brooke Michio
Yeah. I don't know how this.
Danielle Peazer
My heart like, beats out of my chest when I see a phone call from someone.
Brooke Michio
Like, oh, 100%. What did I do wrong?
Danielle Peazer
Exactly.
Brooke Michio
Every time I'm like, oh, darn it up again.
Danielle Peazer
Like, literally. Literally.
Brooke Michio
Anyway, wait, can I say on the note of like, people stopping by randomly, that is the most. Like, rom com.
Katie Bellotti
Yeah.
Brooke Michio
TV show, even books bit. And like, I have never experienced that.
Katie Bellotti
You're so.
Brooke Michio
Like, that is not. At least in my reality. Maybe in college a little bit college. Unannounced drop bys for sure. But like, my friends don't just like show up at my house. Like, that's like, not happening. I feel like even with each other, like, we would never be like. Like, no here, smiley face. Like, or just knock on the door. Like, that's not happening.
Katie Bellotti
No. And it's because we all live in like, buildings where you have to like a few different ways to get upstairs. It's like you gotta call up, you gotta go to the doorman, whatever it may be.
Brooke Michio
I guess it's not like driving to your house and like just showing up at your house versus Right.
Katie Bellotti
But then I think about Gossip Girl because I was just re watching it. Like, all of a sudden Chuck just walks in or Nate walks in.
Brooke Michio
I know you're like, oh, hello, Chuck.
Katie Bellotti
Hello, Chuck. Or Nathaniel. Like, how do they all. All just like walk in like that?
Brooke Michio
Oh, you're so right.
Katie Bellotti
Dormant. Like, have a list of the cast.
Brooke Michio
I mean, I guess like, like, check.
Danielle Peazer
Bass would pay them off.
Katie Bellotti
Yeah.
Danielle Peazer
Have like hundreds. Like a stack of hundreds.
Brooke Michio
Yeah. He's like, don't tell Blair. I need to leave these three dozen roses on her bed.
Katie Bellotti
Yeah, or like, when Rufus. Spoiler. Spoilers. But when, like, Rufus would walk in and, like, Lily's with Chuck's dad. Like, it's like, oh, well, you're not together anymore. Why?
Brooke Michio
Yeah, why are you showing up?
Katie Bellotti
How are you?
Brooke Michio
Give me a call.
Danielle Peazer
How about a sex. Still true. People don't just show up at your.
Brooke Michio
No, no. But it is a thing in movies. It makes it good for the bit. Like, it adds.
Katie Bellotti
Because. What? Oh, hey, can I come? Okay. And then, like, they come and knock on the door.
Brooke Michio
Yeah. The only thing that I would do is, like, if I were in one of your neighborhoods. I feel like I've done that today before. Like, oh, I ha. I'm in the neighborhood. And, like, now that we don't live around the corner from each other, it's like, yeah, oh, sure, I'm around like that. Of course.
Danielle Peazer
But you're still texting before.
Brooke Michio
I would never just show up.
Katie Bellotti
Or it would actually even be crazy if, like, my doorman calls up, hey, Brooke's here for you. I'd be like, where's?
Brooke Michio
Yeah, you'd be like, she's around, like, here.
Katie Bellotti
I don't know. Keep her down there. I have to make sure it's her, like, true, you know?
Brooke Michio
Yes. Yeah, that would be like, you'd have to go and find friends and confirm me.
Katie Bellotti
Oh, she is on top of me right now, so. Yes, you can.
Brooke Michio
Yeah. I don't know.
Danielle Peazer
That is so fun.
Brooke Michio
I love that whole general, like, respect. I feel like for each of, like, not just showing up. I don't know. Maybe I'm crazy.
Katie Bellotti
Even my own boyfriend doesn't just show up.
Brooke Michio
Yeah, that's because you talk about it. You're like, hey, you're coming over tonight, right?
Katie Bellotti
I think maybe twice he surprised me with something, but, like, no, never.
Danielle Peazer
Like, I know Jack, but now, because we live together, that's got. I never know. Like, I'll get home sometimes and he'll not be there. And I'm like, wonder where he. Like, I just don't know.
Katie Bellotti
Yeah, it's like, why aren't you home? Like, or.
Danielle Peazer
Or he'll just. Yeah, like, he'll just come in and I'm like, where? I don't know anything anymore.
Katie Bellotti
But that's so true.
Brooke Michio

Danielle Peazer
Yeah, same as me.
Brooke Michio
To the transition. Having a roommate again. How is it?
Danielle Peazer
It's honestly like wasn't as big of an adjustment as I thought. I mean granted, we're in, we're probably like three weeks in right now.
Brooke Michio
So it's the beginning I feel like is like, I mean me at the beginning. I haven't even looked the first few weeks. It's like a lot though because it's like the stuff and the figuring things out and the new systems. I don't know if you feel like that because people, it's magical and I definitely, it's amazing and like living at the restaurant, whatever. But I truly think in the beginning it's a little wait, I put my stuff there. Put your stuff there? Like the stuff?
Danielle Peazer
Yeah, it's the stuff. It's the shoes. It's the new rules, the things. Yeah, the, the like, you know, when are we doing the dishes? Like when are we doing like and splitting up the tasks to the point where I don't want to feel like his mom and being like, hey, can you do that? But he's actually really good at just knowing what, when and what to do.
Katie Bellotti
That's incredible.
Danielle Peazer
I really think like, I don't know, he was raised right where he came from. No, I mean I know where he came from. His parents are lovely. But like Jack is just unlike. He is unlike anyone I've ever met. He is just so intuitive to him. Like he knows when what I need and when I need it. Like it's just crazy. He just knows he's written by a woman. He knows when literally Jack was written by a woman. I swear he knows when I need space which I think that was the biggest stress that I had was I know I get overwhelmed sometimes and I just need everyone to get out. Like get out, be quiet, go away. I'm freaking out over something. I need to be alone. So I was worried about that because I actually don't have like any doors in my apartment. Like I have a door on my bathroom, but that's it. Like no door on the bedroom. Everything is very open. So if I want to be alone it's like I. I don't know where to go. We don't have offices. Where do we go?
Brooke Michio
Do you send him out for a walk?
Danielle Peazer
Well, he has an office. Well actually no. You know what he does go out and he sits at the coffee shop and plays his like his games. He has these New York Times.
Brooke Michio
I'm playing them right now.
Danielle Peazer
Spelling bee. Do you like spelling bee?
Brooke Michio
That's the one that I don't do. I do wordle and connections every day. Yep, that's my new habit.
Danielle Peazer
That's what he does every day.
Brooke Michio
Oh, I love that.
Danielle Peazer
That's extended your sport.
Brooke Michio
Yeah, I do.
Danielle Peazer
He'll go and do that and he'll just be out and he knows.
Brooke Michio
Oh that's great.
Danielle Peazer
I don't feel like I've yet to feel like I'm like stepping on his toes or like. But then again I will say we are at my previously my apartment right now. So I feel comfortable in my space obviously.
Katie Bellotti
Yeah.
Danielle Peazer
But you know it's just all about doing check ins. I think that's what's important about it to do is to just pause and be like hey, are, are you feeling okay with this arrangement?
Katie Bellotti
Like yeah, good.
Danielle Peazer
Like how are you doing? And I asked him that a few times like just before going to bed, like that sort of thing. Like hey, is ever like do you feel like you have space here? Like things like that. And we're looking for an apartment for the two of us. Like that's going to be our space in the next month. So that'll be good because I don't truly. Because I feel like it's hard to, you know, like I already have all my stuff. Like where it is like, the couch is where it is and all these things, decisions have been made. Like, you know, before I even knew him, choices were made, so. But it's. It's going very well. It's. I. I didn't know, like, what it would feel like to live with a guy. Like, I've just never. I don't have a brother. Like, I truly have.
Katie Bellotti
No, that is so true.
Danielle Peazer
My dad is my dad, so that's. Yeah, like, a whole different thing. Plus, like, I feel like my dad is the biggest minimalist, like, I've ever met. He just, like, doesn't even have things to put anywhere. I swear.
Katie Bellotti
Perfect.
Danielle Peazer
Jack has a lot of stuff, but it's all things, you know. I don't know.
Brooke Michio
You make it work.
Danielle Peazer
Yeah, we make it.
Brooke Michio
We make it work.
Danielle Peazer
It's New York City. Like, there's going to be. You're going to have to clean your apartment every day.
Brooke Michio
100%. No, for me, I feel like, for me, that's been. The multiple rooms that has helped a lot. Like, and I'm like, sometimes I'm like, look, I got to film this. And, you know, and obviously I'm so comfortable, like, filming in front, but sometimes I'm like, I don't know what the fuck I'm going to say. Like, I don't have a script for this. It's going to be rough, and I just need to do my thing and get mad at myself with the door closed. Like, you know, and you get that. Like, that's the creative process. Like, it's part of it.
Danielle Peazer
Yeah. I still haven't gotten to the point where I can film voiceovers with him in the room.
Brooke Michio
Yeah.
Danielle Peazer
I feel like that's something I need to work on. Like, I'll just be like, I literally get stage fright. I cannot.
Katie Bellotti
Yeah.
Danielle Peazer
I cannot do a voiceover with him around. Like, I'm going to start giggling like, he. I'm going to mess up and then feel, like, self conscious and.
Katie Bellotti
Yeah, that's the one thing funny. Does he, like, leave his, like, shaving, like, on the sink?
Danielle Peazer
There's so many of them. Like, where did they all come from? The hairs have multiplied.
Brooke Michio
They regenerate. Yeah.
Danielle Peazer
Someone must have created something to fix this.
Brooke Michio
I think there's something you could put in the sink. I've seen, like, it's like a giant, like, plastic bowl, but, like, are you gonna whip that out every day? Where are we gonna put the bowl?
Danielle Peazer
Where's that gonna go, you know?
Katie Bellotti
Yeah. Where's the bowl?
Brooke Michio
I don't know. Could you shave in the shower.
Danielle Peazer
I mean, there's no mirror in there.
Brooke Michio
Do you get one from Amazon?
Katie Bellotti
Gotta get a suction cupped mirror.
Brooke Michio
Oh, my gosh.
Katie Bellotti
That's a good idea. Brooke.
Brooke Michio
I have one. That's great. Yeah, it's great.
Danielle Peazer
Wait.
Katie Bellotti
Okay.
Danielle Peazer
I should get this for him.
Brooke Michio
Yeah.
Danielle Peazer
Yeah. I didn't realize, like, how often the shaving happens too.
Brooke Michio
I had no idea about men's facial, like even having a day, like every.
Danielle Peazer
Three days he's shaving his face.
Katie Bellotti
Oh, my God. So there's just.
Brooke Michio
Yeah, no, it's very.
Katie Bellotti
It's way more often in the shower too. Is that what.
Brooke Michio
Yeah, he'll do some like. I feel like he does like the rough shave in the shower and then like detail shot.
Danielle Peazer
The detail shot.
Katie Bellotti
I know what you mean.
Brooke Michio
That's enough.
Danielle Peazer
I think the contour.
Brooke Michio
I honestly still don't really understand, like, men's like the. The haircut versus the neck shave versus the like.
Katie Bellotti
Yeah. Like when it all happened and I.
Brooke Michio
Don'T really think about it. My mom one time, I love you, mom, but this was crazy. She, like, she saw Ben, like, unshave. She was like, oh, Ben, are you going to go see your parents like that. I was like, mom, you can't say that. And I didn't think anything of it. I was like, oh, I think you look like, he looks good. Like it's grown out a little bit. But I. I just didn't even cut. But I guess is that maybe an older generation thing of like when you're. When it's like more shaved? It's more like professional? Like, I don't really know.
Danielle Peazer
Yeah, I think it is a cultural thing, like generational generation. Yeah, well, and probably cultural, but yeah.
Brooke Michio
Yeah, for sure.
Danielle Peazer
Generational. Like, I remember my dad. My dad grew out his beard during COVID which was crazy because he was always clean shaven. Like, I didn't even know my dad could grow a beard.
Brooke Michio
That's always crazy.
Danielle Peazer
So often for work because his office, like, you're not allowed to have facial hair. He, you know, I don't know if that was. I'm pretty sure that's what it was like. You just couldn't have any facial hair. And so he never did. Then Covid, he was working from home and I guess, like, they were more lax on the rules. He now has a beard. Has not. He's not. Not had a beard since 2020. And he went into the office, he pretty much was like, he's kind of on the road to retirement anyway. Yeah, yeah. If someone tells Me to shave it. Like, I'm quitting. Like, I'm. I'm like, dad.
Katie Bellotti
Yeah.
Brooke Michio
But he's has it.
Danielle Peazer
I think now he's like, more and more people are coming to the office with beards. I feel like people are realizing. It's like, come on, guys. It's not that deep.
Katie Bellotti
Like, it's not that.
Brooke Michio
It's not.
Danielle Peazer
Like, maybe if you don't brush your hair or you just like, look unkempt. But a beard doesn't make you look unkempt in my.
Brooke Michio
No, no, definitely not.
Katie Bellotti
Definitely not.
Brooke Michio
But yeah, it's definitely because I like the beard. But then they've said that something like it gets like itchy and kind of scratch. Like when you're in the grow out phases. Like, there's awkward. Like just like growing out your hair. Like this awkward length.
Danielle Peazer
I think like an awkward fade.
Brooke Michio
Like, interesting.
Katie Bellotti
No hair. Like, I haven't him. Like, it's so upsetting.
Brooke Michio
So he can't grow.
Katie Bellotti
He's trapped.
Danielle Peazer
Oh, no.
Brooke Michio
I don't know if that's. Well, no, I feel like. But then he doesn't have to dirty up the sink and do all these things.
Katie Bellotti
Yeah. I mean, he definitely still shaves, though. Like, he has to shave. Like, sometimes it gets a little grown up. But I don't know how to explain it. Like, he can't get a full. My brother too. I can't.
Danielle Peazer
I can't picture him with a beard because.
Katie Bellotti
Yeah. Make it happen. He can get like a goatee and I'm like, no. Like, that's. And sometimes I feel like, do you like it? I'm like, absolutely.
Brooke Michio
I feel like some guys do the stache thing. Like the like. And it's just like a few, like, little hairs and I'm like, it's just for me.
Katie Bellotti
Timothy Chalamet's eyelashes. Yeah. Like, literally that.
Brooke Michio
It's a no for me. But like, I see the vision.
Katie Bellotti
I see.
Brooke Michio
Yeah. It feels like they, like went to party city and like, bought like a fake mustache. Like, but like, you know.
Katie Bellotti
Yes. Like, oh, my God.
Brooke Michio
Like in the school plays. Like when it would be like, someone's got to be the old man. And like, there we go.
Katie Bellotti
I'm like, remember when mustaches were trendy?
Brooke Michio
Yeah.
Katie Bellotti
You know what I mean? Like, I would be like, mustache, band aids. No.
Brooke Michio
And I would do it. Hold it up.
Katie Bellotti
Yes.
Danielle Peazer
Well, that's my first take picture. My first photo on Instagram is my mustache phone case.
Brooke Michio
There you go. Why was that? That was such a.
Katie Bellotti
That is.
Brooke Michio
That needs to be stuck, actually.
Danielle Peazer
Mustaches. And that one necklace with the owl on it.
Katie Bellotti
Oh, everyone.
Brooke Michio
100.
Danielle Peazer
Everyone had owls worthing.
Brooke Michio
Infinity sign.
Katie Bellotti
Oh, yeah.
Brooke Michio
That was on everything that I. I mean, I have some pieces of jewelry, actually, that.
Katie Bellotti
Yeah. Infinity sign, owl, mustache, mustache does need to.
Brooke Michio
Mustache is so, like, I could understand the other two.
Danielle Peazer
Like.
Katie Bellotti
Yeah.
Brooke Michio
Symbolism, nature.
Danielle Peazer
What's the symbol of now? What's the 2025 mustache? Like, what is it? What are we going to regret?
Brooke Michio
Gosh.
Danielle Peazer
What are we gonna look back and be like, why? I mean, there's trends, obviously.
Brooke Michio
Yeah. I'm trying to think of, like, a simple, kitschy things, like, obviously. Like, you know, you have your phone charms and stuff. So I'm trying to think, like, what the symbol is on it that, like, is a taxis.
Katie Bellotti
I love taxes.
Brooke Michio
No, that's, like, good. Oh, no, it can't be.
Katie Bellotti
Yeah.
Brooke Michio
It can't be. Like, what's so, like, cute and in right now that, you know, we're gonna look back.
Katie Bellotti
Yeah. Like, think about bag charms and stuff that people. No bows will always be in.
Brooke Michio
Yeah. I feel like the bows, like, it could be something that we look back on. We're, like, intense.
Katie Bellotti
Yeah.
Danielle Peazer
Really big moments.
Brooke Michio
I know the really big.
Danielle Peazer
There was a big moment.
Katie Bellotti
Yeah. Okay.
Danielle Peazer
We'll have to think on that.
Katie Bellotti
But maybe.
Danielle Peazer
Maybe back in the day, we thought infinity signs would always be a 100.
Katie Bellotti
Guys, come on.
Brooke Michio
Oh, my God. Can you imagine now? Yeah.
Danielle Peazer
It literally means forever. So it's going to be trendy forever.
Katie Bellotti
That's true.
Brooke Michio
Yeah. Do you only have one tattoo?
Danielle Peazer
One? Well, technically, three.
Brooke Michio
Well, three.
Danielle Peazer
Three dots on my.
Brooke Michio
I love it.
Danielle Peazer
That's like, a great index finger.
Brooke Michio
Is that what it's called? Yeah.
Danielle Peazer
Yeah.
Brooke Michio
No, I thought your index finger. Pointer.
Danielle Peazer
Why is it called an index finger?
Brooke Michio
Because isn't it, like, you, like, where.
Danielle Peazer
You'Re going through your. Your.
Brooke Michio
Yeah. When you use it for, like, flipping and things.
Danielle Peazer
That is a good. Anyway, it's on my ring finger. Three dots. Yes. And I. I was told this was temporary, but five years later, it is still here, and it is getting darker.
Katie Bellotti
Oh, that's. I feel like it's. The hand ones go first because you're, like, washing your hands and stuff.
Danielle Peazer
Yeah, and I was told that, too, so I was like, perfect. Like, three dots. How long could that take to go away? Like, my parents would kill me if they knew I had a tattoo. Now they've. You know, my sister has a lot as well, so it's. You know, they've gone over that. But, yeah, it's still here.
Brooke Michio
Note to self. It's probably not temporary. If anybody's. Yours looks great, though.
Danielle Peazer
From Amazon.
Brooke Michio
That is insane.
Katie Bellotti
Called the index finger because it's the finger most often used to point or indicate things. The word index comes from the Latin word indicare, which means to point out.
Danielle Peazer
Oh, I love knowing this. And I'm gonna use this.
Katie Bellotti
I know.
Brooke Michio
That's a good. That's it.
Katie Bellotti
I love knowing it.
Danielle Peazer
Isn't it fun? You tuck it away, you say, did you know? Yeah.
Brooke Michio
Hey, someone's, like, doing something with their finger. You're like, did you know?
Katie Bellotti
Then, yeah, I'm using my index finger to indicate to you.
Brooke Michio
That is a really.
Danielle Peazer
I mean, it is true indication.
Katie Bellotti
The more you know, the more you know. Well, we do all have something we're loving this week. Katie did prep.
Danielle Peazer
I prepped well. I texted. I was like, do I need to come with any?
Katie Bellotti
That's such a fair question.
Danielle Peazer
I remember you guys. The last time you're like, song of the week.
Katie Bellotti
Oh.
Danielle Peazer
We had segments, and I was like, okay, I need to know.
Katie Bellotti
Shoe of the week. No, no, favorite.
Brooke Michio
Literally just one. Now we've gone from, like, five different segments, streamlined it to one.
Katie Bellotti
You know, maybe we'll switch it up again sometime soon. But what are you loving right now, Katie? Could be anything.
Danielle Peazer
What am I loving right now? I came prepared with a fragrance that I'd love to share, because I don't know about you, but I was getting really sick of everything I had and totally thinking, like, okay, this is. This was for a different era of me, definitely. And I feel like I've entered a new era, so I need a new fragrance. And the fragrance I'm loving right now is called what's Aaron? The brand.
Katie Bellotti
A E R. Oh, yeah.
Danielle Peazer
I think it's part of Estee Lauder. Yeah. I was trying to figure out how they're linked. I think Aaron Lauder is a person.
Katie Bellotti
Yes.
Danielle Peazer
So Aaron is the brand. And it's Coco Rose. It's the little brown container, and it comes. It's like a little glass, little bottle, and then it comes with a brown bow on it. And it's so, first of all, adorable. Gold top. Like, such a vibe.
Katie Bellotti
It sounds really.
Brooke Michio
Where did you find.
Katie Bellotti
Yeah.
Danielle Peazer
How did you know it was delivered to me? It was a PR thing. It is for sale. So it's. It's. It's out now. But Coco roll to describe the smell, because for me, I'm not. I don't like super floral scents, but I do like feminine scents. Like, I don't want it to be Too masculine, personally. So it's a good mix of. It's sweet and feminine, but not, like, floral. Not, like.
Katie Bellotti
Is it, like, charm? Like.
Danielle Peazer
Yeah. Warm. It's. It's chocolate rose, so it's, like, rosy. Oh.
Katie Bellotti
Literally chocolate.
Danielle Peazer
Like, that's kind of cocoa rose is what they. It's. There's, like, a chocolatey feel to it where it's warm. It's definitely good for winter. And, you know, I don't see myself wearing this in the summer, but it's, like, romantic. It's. I love. But not like rose. Yes. But not floral. Like, not, like. Like, you know, stuffy and.
Katie Bellotti
Yeah.
Danielle Peazer
Not too, like, Chanel.
Katie Bellotti
Like they're spraying it on you at the department store.
Danielle Peazer
Yeah. Like, I feel like it'd be a really good scent to wear on a first date. Like, I feel like it would be very. Yeah. Oh, I still smell it on me. I kind of this morning. Can you smell?
Brooke Michio
We're taking a waft.
Katie Bellotti
Oh, my God.
Brooke Michio
Okay. That's.
Katie Bellotti
I complimented you on this the other day.
Brooke Michio
I love it. It's.
Danielle Peazer
Yeah.
Katie Bellotti
Oh, I.
Brooke Michio
That's a really nice one. That's perfect because it's, like, sophisticated, but it's not, like, too, like. Like, I feel like it's a. It's If.
Danielle Peazer
Yeah.
Brooke Michio
Perfect.
Danielle Peazer
It's not your mom's perfume.
Brooke Michio
No, absolutely not.
Danielle Peazer
It's not Victoria's Secret.
Katie Bellotti
I know.
Brooke Michio
That's what I'm saying. It's good for our time of life.
Danielle Peazer
Yeah.
Katie Bellotti
So anyway, when you're recommend, so good.
Danielle Peazer
And a little goes a long way.
Katie Bellotti
I'm Kaitlyn Bristowe, host of off the Vine Podcast, where I get real, maybe a little too real sometimes, with my friends and celeb guests from Bachelor franchise and beyond. I'm talking guests like Jonathan Van Ness.
Brooke Michio
Na na na na na na na.
Danielle Peazer
Na na na na na na na.
Katie Bellotti
Nikki Glaser, Wells Adams, Elise Myers.
Danielle Peazer
Just, like, in this, like, business jacket. Like, I would love some tacos. Heidi D'Amelio, Big Brother's Taylor Hale.
Katie Bellotti
I have to bring it up because it happened, and we're gonna get through it. What I do and so many more.
Danielle Peazer
So come hang out with us. Hear ridiculous confessions and get a little.
Katie Bellotti
Vulnerable, because you know what? We're all just floating on this weird little planet together.
Danielle Peazer
Follow rate and review off the Vine.
Brooke Michio
Podcast wherever you listen to your podcast.
Katie Bellotti
When you guys spray perfume, do you spray it on certain parts or do you, like, body mist it?
Brooke Michio
I sprayed on certain parts.
Katie Bellotti
Where do you spray them?
Brooke Michio
I. I learned. I feel like back in the day on, like, Pinterest, like, YouTube or something. The polls point. So I. That stuck with that. And I do a Spray my hair. That's like a. Yeah, that's something that I started to do, but I feel like mine doesn't last the way, like, mine would not be still on my body. Like that.
Katie Bellotti
Well, made me think. I never actually put it there, so maybe that's why.
Brooke Michio
Where do you put it?
Katie Bellotti
Like, I just. I'm the worst.
Danielle Peazer
I'm kind of all over. I'm kind of like that, too. Well, I go like here, here. I always go like, the neck, chest. I feel like when you hug people, that's where they go.
Brooke Michio
Okay.
Danielle Peazer
And then the wrists. I do. Just because I feel like. Then it gets all over everything I'm touching and do like, oh, I love that.
Brooke Michio
That's really the cart.
Danielle Peazer
And like that. Yes, but.
Katie Bellotti
And you shake back the nape of your neck. I remember Chuck and Blast. Talk about the name.
Danielle Peazer
Yeah. Yeah. So that's where I go.
Katie Bellotti
I was just curious because I feel like I'm doing it all wrong, so I just want.
Brooke Michio
Yeah. 100. I need to focus more, I think, on that.
Danielle Peazer
I think there's a science, but I just don't know what it is.
Katie Bellotti
And I don't understand why. Pulse points. Is it because, like, I. I don't understand.
Danielle Peazer
There's got to be a reason. Or someone just started doing it, and then it became.
Katie Bellotti
Who knows? It's something.
Brooke Michio
Unless it's just something easy to remember. You're like, you know where your pulse points are.
Katie Bellotti
Right.
Brooke Michio
Maybe it's. I don't know. I'm just speculating. Who knows?
Katie Bellotti
Yeah. Or maybe it just happens to work out that the place they recommend. Yeah. Who knows? We could go to.
Danielle Peazer
It probably has to go. Has to do with your pheromones as well or, like, all of that. You know what I mean? Yeah, the pheromones. Like, I was reading this book, and the girl, it's like, it was kind of, like, smutty a little bit, but she was talking about how she, like, like, was, you know, in bed with this guy and, like, was, like, smelling the top of his head to see if she was, like, interested in him. I'm like, never something I've done. But that's apparently what you do. Because the pheromones come out of your head. The top of your head is, like, the most.
Brooke Michio
Really?
Danielle Peazer
This is what the book said. I don't know.
Katie Bellotti
So she would purposely smell it.
Danielle Peazer
Yeah. To test to see if, like, she.
Brooke Michio
Could get behind it reacts in some ways.
Danielle Peazer
No. And if it's something that, like, makes you feel warm and like. Like a familiar. Like a warm happiness, that means that you're compatible. Cute pheromone.
Katie Bellotti
Did you go and smell Jack's head?
Danielle Peazer
Haven't done that yet. I gotta try.
Katie Bellotti
Smell tops of their heads. Yeah.
Brooke Michio
Make sure that you're compatible. Imagine after all this time, you're like, not. Not gonna work for me. Oh, just because of the scent of your top. Here.
Katie Bellotti
Sorry. Someone told me. You know what I feel like we should reveal, and maybe we've revealed it before.
Brooke Michio
What is it?
Katie Bellotti
It's nothing crazy. We have a group chat, the three of us, and it has a name. And I always love hearing people's group chat names. And I think it's like, that is a good one.
Brooke Michio
Ours is definitely appropriate to share too.
Katie Bellotti
Yeah. Yeah. Should we say it on count of three?
Brooke Michio
So not even, like, I know the grand reveal. One, two, three.
Danielle Peazer
Get lost.
Katie Bellotti
It's like, who gets to say.
Danielle Peazer
But the thing about it is, I.
Katie Bellotti
Don'T even remember why I could understand a general.
Danielle Peazer
Like, there's lore, but I just don't remember why we did that.
Brooke Michio
I don't remember the one particular case that set us over the edge. But I think in general, we were speaking about people bothering us. Get lost.
Katie Bellotti
Get lost. Like, oh, yeah. People being mean in the comments or someone.
Brooke Michio
Yes. Trying to stir up drama for no reason. You're like, it was during. Like, it's like, kick rocks. Like, get lost.
Katie Bellotti
Yeah. Touch grass. Yes. Kick rocks. Get lost. And I. I think it just because we always had this chat. I'm someone. I hate when a group chat doesn't have a name. Like, literally, I went to go to the movies with people the other day. I told you. And I made the group chat, baby girl, because, like, I need that chat to have a name, you know?
Danielle Peazer
Well, then, yeah, you know, it was made. That makes sense.
Katie Bellotti
Yeah.
Danielle Peazer
Very organized.
Katie Bellotti
Yeah. And we ended up talking that chat a lot more about the movie. So I was like, now I really can make it the chat name. But so I'm sure, like, we always had that chat and it was always us sharing our grievances and, like, also catching up. And so then we were like, let's.
Danielle Peazer
I think it's get lost with, like, a heart emoji. Like a hand heart or like, something.
Katie Bellotti
Like, there is an emoji involved to.
Danielle Peazer
Make it a little bit less.
Brooke Michio
A little less aggressive. Like, it's not actually get lost.
Katie Bellotti
It is a hand heart.
Brooke Michio
It was us. It's like, it was a place for us to. Oh, this person's gonna get lost.
Danielle Peazer
Picture is me falling into the. Oh, yes.
Brooke Michio
Oh, such an iconic.
Danielle Peazer
That was from the Gals on the Go trip that you guys.
Brooke Michio
Fashion pass trip.
Danielle Peazer
Fashion pass. Gals on the Go trip in the Hamptons. I think that's kind of around the time that we, like, probably named it that, too.
Katie Bellotti
I think it was probably vintage.
Brooke Michio
Yeah, that was an iconic shot. Yeah, it is a vintage be so fun.
Katie Bellotti
Like, I love hearing people's group chat names.
Brooke Michio
I feel like I don't have the most creative. Like, now you're inspiring me to make them more, like.
Katie Bellotti
What about, like, your college friends?
Brooke Michio
Silly Goofy. We, like, recently renamed it because we had, like, an inside joke on one of our trips and, like, made it that.
Katie Bellotti
Oh, that's fun.
Brooke Michio
I don't know.
Danielle Peazer
Yeah, I've got a re. Yeah, mine's I Heart New York is our New York college group chat.
Katie Bellotti
I love that.
Danielle Peazer
Well, it's. It's. I mean, it's. It's. It is what it is. I feel like we could get a little bit more crafty with it.
Brooke Michio
Normally, a group chat with three people I don't name. Like, I'm happy that ours has a name, but, like, I have some group chats of three, and I'm trying to think now. Like, none of them have titles, but I. I guess I'm not as into.
Danielle Peazer
It as you, but I. I overthink.
Brooke Michio
No, I like it, though.
Katie Bellotti
I appreciate front.
Danielle Peazer
If I were to make, like, change the name of a group chat to. To, like, an inside joke, I'd be like, does everyone get it? Like, I would be, like, overthinking.
Brooke Michio
Oh, 100. I. I changed it, and I was waiting eagerly.
Katie Bellotti
No, no, you were the changer.
Brooke Michio
I was the changer. And I'm holding it for, like, you know, two minutes. I was like, oh, God, please someone.
Danielle Peazer
Does someone laugh? No, that's like, I feel like I overthink every text that I send. Like, if I send it, and I'm like, I'm so that girl that, like, will go through my email and, like, remove exclamation points or, like, add them in if I'm feeling like I'm sounding too serious. Like, I overthink every text, and that is something that I would overthink. Like, changing, like, an inside joke or saying something like a joke in the text. And if people don't immediately laugh at my message, it's. I'm spiraling.
Katie Bellotti
I know. Or I'll think, oh, my God. Was that mean? Like, I was trying to be funny. Was that mean? And then.
Brooke Michio
Yeah, like, like, was the tone understood?
Danielle Peazer
Like, did it Especially when the group chat is live.
Brooke Michio
Yep.
Danielle Peazer
And you don't really have time to think. Like, you don't have time to be like, you're so.
Brooke Michio
Yeah, yeah.
Danielle Peazer
You're rapid fire.
Katie Bellotti
Like, you're typing so fast.
Brooke Michio
You can't perfect your joke. It has to just be like, I'm trying some new material.
Katie Bellotti
Yeah.
Danielle Peazer
Yes.
Katie Bellotti
Yes.
Brooke Michio
Anyway, literally, though, that's really funny. Yeah, no, I definitely get self conscious. I feel like in, in especially group chats where there's some numbers that you, you don't have and you're like, oh, you know, I'm throwing this in.
Danielle Peazer
Oh, my God. No, I'm in a, I'm in a bachelorette group chat right now. Girl that I, I mean, I love her. I've known her since I was like 8 years old. And I'm going on her bachelorette, going to her wedding. I'm not in her bridal party, but I was in the bachelorette. No, I'm, I'm thrilled.
Brooke Michio
That's my favorite special.
Danielle Peazer
No, I love it. And we're going. It's gonna be a really great trip. Very excited. But she's an active gal. Like, she's very. She loves to hike and she. I don't know anyone in the group chat really either. And this whole group is. They're active girls. They are active gals. And part of the trip is a 9 mile hike up a mountain. I'm not kidding. And there's a rock scramble at one point, which I had. I had to Google it. You have to like, you're on your hands and you're, you are like, you are climbing on rocks. Like jumping from rock to rock. And you are like climbing. Yes.
Brooke Michio
Is this an optional.
Danielle Peazer
This is, this is happening. I'm doing that. And so, but I, Everyone in the chat was like, you know, like, so.
Brooke Michio
Excited you have the train.
Katie Bellotti
So I, I think I'm serious.
Brooke Michio
No, no, I just said scramble. Like, you can never.
Danielle Peazer
I was researching. I would never searching what shoes I need to get. Like, I'm going. I, I need to get a new backpack.
Katie Bellotti
You gotta go to the REI store.
Danielle Peazer
I, I literally.
Brooke Michio
You get gear.
Danielle Peazer
And so, but in the chat, everyone was like being like, like, oh, yeah, so excited. Like, and I was like, am I the only one that's a little nerd?
Katie Bellotti
I was like, yeah, guess I got it.
Danielle Peazer
I, like, was typing. I was like, I guess I gotta get on the treadmill. 12 incline and prepare for this. And I sent that. Oh, crap. I was like, oh, my God. Maybe everyone in this chat. Like, no one's gonna.
Katie Bellotti
Like, everyone does.
Danielle Peazer
There were many hahas. I was like, but I didn't have any of them.
Katie Bellotti
I'm sure there's some closeted non climbers.
Danielle Peazer
I was like, I just need people to say no.
Brooke Michio
Non climbers, no.
Danielle Peazer
But, like, when I get on this trip, I just need people to know that, like, I'm there, like, I'm inexperienced. And like, you need to know before you even get on. On the flight to this trip that there's going to be a girl lagging behind and it's me.
Brooke Michio
Maybe there's groups like, you know, the. The experts go first rocks.
Katie Bellotti
You know, the scramble is sending me.
Brooke Michio
I've never heard of that.
Danielle Peazer
Can you picture me on my hands and knees climbing up the side of.
Brooke Michio
Dude, you just got nails.
Danielle Peazer
I know.
Katie Bellotti
Yeah, you're gonna have.
Brooke Michio
What are you gonna do?
Katie Bellotti
Yeah, gloves.
Brooke Michio
Oh, what are you gonna do? Do nails?
Danielle Peazer
No, no, my nails are not gonna make it.
Katie Bellotti
Katie walks in, she's like, gals, how do you do anything with nails? Like, I can't open bottles. Like, I can't do anything.
Brooke Michio
I know. I'm like opening water.
Danielle Peazer
How do you put tights on?
Katie Bellotti
Oh, yeah, you asked.
Brooke Michio
Yours are a little. I will say they're a bit long.
Danielle Peazer
Mine are long. I mean, I just deferred to my nail. My nail tech. I'm like, what?
Katie Bellotti
They are.
Brooke Michio
They are.
Katie Bellotti
But they're longer than mine.
Danielle Peazer
They're longer than yours. Okay. This is good to know. Mine are a little grown out, though.
Katie Bellotti
I'm true. I guess they're.
Brooke Michio
They look great, I have to say.
Katie Bellotti
I mean, thank you.
Brooke Michio
I. You know.
Danielle Peazer
Anyway, what are your favorites? I've kind of.
Katie Bellotti
Oh, oh, I already forgot. Oh, the Coco Rose Coco Ro Scramble to rock Scramble.
Danielle Peazer
If you guys have any trail shoe recommendations, send them my way.
Brooke Michio
We actually do. We wore the Merrells that time and they were. I still have them. Like, those are like, if I ever need to go off roading. Like those.
Katie Bellotti
Yeah, like, those are my shoes.
Danielle Peazer
Yeah, I was seeing that. You need to wear trail runners, like sneakers, because your feet will, like, your feet will be turning every which way.
Brooke Michio
Because these are like a sneaker style on rocks.
Danielle Peazer
Oh, really? Okay, good.
Brooke Michio
Right. Like I would.
Katie Bellotti
They're sneaker styled.
Danielle Peazer
All right, I'll look into.
Katie Bellotti
They're not. Actually. I don't even think. They're not.
Brooke Michio
Like, they're not high.
Katie Bellotti
No.
Brooke Michio
They're low, but they they have a really stable bottom part.
Katie Bellotti
We were in the snow, but they were for anything. Oh, okay, cool. They're truly.
Brooke Michio
They're good. And they're not too bulky, because I feel like some of them were. The other options were.
Katie Bellotti
And there was some terrain that didn't have snow on it. I remember when we went on that walk, so I know.
Brooke Michio
Well, our walk. That we're like, yeah, that's when we.
Katie Bellotti
Stayed at the Green Light Cabin.
Danielle Peazer
Green Light.
Katie Bellotti
Where Matchmate in Manhattan was started.
Danielle Peazer
That's where. Yes.
Katie Bellotti
And then we went and stayed there.
Danielle Peazer
It's definitely haunted there.
Katie Bellotti
Oh, definitely.
Danielle Peazer
That place is haunted.
Katie Bellotti
I believe it. I believe it.
Brooke Michio
Didn't we say there was some noise? Yeah, we did say. Yeah, we were like, perpetual noise. We're like, oh, it's fine, though, because.
Katie Bellotti
None of us stayed. Or. No, you guys, we stayed in the.
Brooke Michio
Basement, and it was very loud.
Danielle Peazer
That's a choice.
Katie Bellotti
Yeah, that was a choice. I was like, you guys can go do that. There was fully another bedroom.
Brooke Michio
I don't know why. That was really rogue of me.
Katie Bellotti
It was really rogue, but I get it. Because the bedrooms were, like, right next to each other. Or there was another bedroom. Bedroom downstairs.
Danielle Peazer
Yeah.
Brooke Michio
I think we're trying to be respectful, but yeah.
Katie Bellotti
No, everybody love, like, I. You guys were like. That was like your first vet.
Brooke Michio
Like, we're like, February, two or three months into dating.
Katie Bellotti
Yeah. They'll take the downstairs. We know the journey.
Brooke Michio
No worries. We'll sleep next to the boiler.
Katie Bellotti
Yeah, like, no worries. The game room. My favorite this week is it actually made me start giggling a little because it reminded me of Brooke. You'll know why. It's the Sage Wellness Peppermint Halo oil.
Brooke Michio
Of course I'm familiar. Yes.
Katie Bellotti
Katie.
Brooke Michio
I don't know.
Katie Bellotti
We were in Toronto.
Brooke Michio
Yeah, it was like a year ago. We were in Toronto for our show, and there was, like, some mall that was attached to, like, a train station. Whatever. We were like, we wanted to go to the mall. We're like, oh, we'll hit up this one.
Katie Bellotti
And to get a blowout, there was a hair salon.
Brooke Michio
Yes.
Katie Bellotti
And I had noticed at the corner of my eye that there was a Sage Wellness, which there used to be one in Soho. It's essential oils and everything. I loved that store. And it closed. And I was like, brooke, there's one here in Canada. Meanwhile, I can fully order it online. But I was so excited to see it in person. Yeah. To see in person. And tried things out.
Danielle Peazer
Yeah.
Katie Bellotti
So I was like, you were like, go, run ahead.
Brooke Michio
Well, I Was finishing up my hair. Yeah, yeah. So I got me in there. I go in there. Danielle's still fully engulfed in the shopping process. She's getting swatches left and right. Like, she's deep. They were like, they loved her. They loved her.
Katie Bellotti
She's like, you ready?
Brooke Michio
I was like, we gotta head to the show. We're late. Relate.
Katie Bellotti
I was like, oh.
Brooke Michio
Like, no, I know, but you were enjoying yourself.
Katie Bellotti
Like, you were being really respectful. You. You weren't. She wasn't bothering me. I just.
Brooke Michio
You're so knowledgeable. They. I think they appreciated your knowledge. You're like. And this is the lavender. They're like, yes.
Katie Bellotti
Yeah. They loved it. They were really loving it. So then they wanted to include Brooke. Of course.
Brooke Michio
Of course. And they're like, what are you. What are your ailments? Like, what are you feeling? I was like, dress stressed.
Katie Bellotti
We have to go tonight.
Danielle Peazer
Where do I begin?
Brooke Michio
I was like, I feel, like, quite stressed. And they. I don't know why this started, but she was. They, like, took the peppermint oil, and they were like, this. This will do the trick. And she was like, I'm going to use our extra strength on you. And she. Where did she put my. On your back.
Katie Bellotti
It was. Oh, maybe your back.
Brooke Michio
Like, my neck and.
Katie Bellotti
Yeah, the back of your body. I remember that she put in the.
Brooke Michio
Back of my body. And I was like, okay, try it out. I knew I wasn't gonna buy anything, but I was, like, just trying to, like, you know, be part of something.
Katie Bellotti
Yeah.
Brooke Michio
And then I start, like, uncontrollably tingling. I was like, whoa. Am I supposed to like. And she's like, yes, it does have a cooling sensation.
Katie Bellotti
But, like, Brooke sees a bug, you know, and she's like, oh. Like, she was doing that.
Brooke Michio
It was like, not. I. I'm familiar with the cooling sensation, of course. Like, this was like. It felt like something had gone wrong. Like, I was like, yeah. I was like, oh, my gosh. And now I can't move. Like, I felt like I was almost like it went so deep to the. Like, it was like, danielle, is this normal? And I was like, yeah.
Katie Bellotti
And you're like. Like, okay. Like, you were trying to be so calm, and then, like, I could just tell things were going.
Brooke Michio
Things were going wrong. It just, like, didn't work with me. And, like, I could see how, you know, some. If you have, like, a muscle ache or something, probably would be great. I had no ailments.
Danielle Peazer
Like, I don't know.
Katie Bellotti
So then we left. But I remember we were at the theater. And you were like, danielle, I still feel it. Is this normal? I was like, I promise you. But so I was cleaning out my nightstand drawer and I have like all these oils in there and I usually use. Always use the stress release one. But there I had the peppermint and I had a headache. And that's like what it's for. Really?
Danielle Peazer
Yeah.
Katie Bellotti
Almonds and headaches. And let me tell you, the new Advil, for me, like, I tell. Really, you have to be so careful, not put too much because it could get in your eye.
Brooke Michio
Oh, my God. I can't.
Katie Bellotti
Brooks, like, tell me less.
Brooke Michio
That would be terrifying. Like, I can't even imagine the burn.
Danielle Peazer
Oh, you'd be on your way to the er, right?
Brooke Michio
Literally.
Katie Bellotti
How would you like.
Brooke Michio
No, this stuff is strong and I have like a hot, like a. A pretty decent pain tolerance. It wasn't even pain. It was just like the sensation was so strong, you can't even believe that.
Katie Bellotti
It's like Icy Hot if you ever use that. But it's like. I mean, it's a little rollerball.
Brooke Michio
That's what I'm saying, you see? And you're like, how could this little tincture. Much to me, like, you know, it's cute. Like, it's little.
Katie Bellotti
I should have brought it with drinking, but it just been helping my headaches. And I put on the back of my neck and it feels really nice. But then as it was feeling nice, I was like, Brooke would literally hate this right now.
Brooke Michio
They gave me the extra strength.
Katie Bellotti
Yeah.
Brooke Michio
To be fair, she was like, oh, no worries. I got. I wonder if she knew.
Danielle Peazer
That's good. I need to take less Advil.
Katie Bellotti
Yeah, right?
Danielle Peazer
Definitely take too much Advil.
Brooke Michio
I don't think too much. Like once a week.
Danielle Peazer
Like, not every day, but like, every time I'm dehydrated, I'm like, let me just take Advil. I'm like, no, I should just drink water. Like, what am I doing?
Brooke Michio
Like a headache or something.
Danielle Peazer
I get so dehydrated in the winter.
Katie Bellotti
Me too.
Danielle Peazer
Because I feel like.
Katie Bellotti
Because you're not as thirsty, maybe. I, I. Yeah, I guess you're not drinking.
Danielle Peazer
Well, once you feel the symptoms of a, like a headache of a dehydration spell, like, it's too late.
Katie Bellotti
Like, you, you're so right, you know, you are dehydrated.
Brooke Michio
Yeah.
Danielle Peazer
Like, I wish that there was an early indicator of like, you should drink some water now.
Katie Bellotti
So true.
Brooke Michio
We need like a human gas tank. But like, yeah, yeah, you're running low. Brooke, what are you Going fuel.
Katie Bellotti
Bring us home.
Brooke Michio
I'm loving the House Labs mascara. I always talk about House Labs, but I don't think I talked about this product yet.
Katie Bellotti
No, you have not talked about.
Brooke Michio
I love it. I'm wearing it right now. I mean, it's just a. I hope it's not like. Is it, like, under my eyes?
Katie Bellotti
No, it's not. That's not really. Check one.
Brooke Michio
Yeah. Wow. I just. Everything House Labs makes, like, it just becomes the best in that category. I swear. Like, they. Because they really, like, invest in their products. I know.
Danielle Peazer
Lady Gaga.
Brooke Michio
I know. And she really does it right. Like, the foundation. Amazing.
Katie Bellotti
So good.
Brooke Michio
What else do I really like? The eyeliner is really good. The blushes. Oh, my gosh. The blushes, the sticks, and the regular, like, powder. They're all amazing. This mascara just. Do you watch the Lipstick Lesbians on Tick Tock? Have you ever seen their video?
Katie Bellotti
You've showed me that. Or. We were on a trip with them.
Brooke Michio
Yeah.
Katie Bellotti
Beauty. Yeah.
Brooke Michio
Oh, you have to go home and watch them now. They're amazing. They're like this couple, and the one woman she like is like, a cosmetic chemist, so she knows, like, all the formulas of things and she does, like, reviews based on that.
Danielle Peazer
Wow, that's very cool.
Brooke Michio
Yeah. And she's. She was speaking so highly of this, and I had it in my PR stack. I was like, let me try it. It's just a great mascara. Like, the separation, the length, like, it stays on so good. But I feel like it's not damaging on my lashes because, you know. Yeah, you take off, you're like, okay, my lashes are gone now.
Katie Bellotti
Yeah.
Brooke Michio
Oh, yeah.
Katie Bellotti
I know what you mean.
Brooke Michio
I mean, it's just a good mascara.
Danielle Peazer
It looks good.
Brooke Michio
Just gotta say thanks. Yeah.
Katie Bellotti
Brooke. For that wreck. Always coming with a beauty wreck. I love it. I always end up buying it. So.
Brooke Michio
Really, I think you'll like this one. What mascara do you guys currently use? Oh, Katie's on the. Is it mascara that you're on the CVS thing for? Is that for eyeshadow?
Danielle Peazer
That is a liquid eyeshadow, but yeah, it's called Brilliant Eyes. Liquid eyeshadow.
Brooke Michio
Go to your local CVS and look for an eyeball on the display and you'll see. That's such a good vibe. That is sick.
Danielle Peazer
L'Oreal Paris. Still using my eyeball. Paid zero dollars for that.
Brooke Michio
That's a shame. That's a shame.
Danielle Peazer
No, it is a shame.
Katie Bellotti
It's so cool. It's bragging rights. I think that's my eye.
Brooke Michio
That's part of your lore.
Katie Bellotti
Hey, that's my eye.
Danielle Peazer
It's a fun fact.
Brooke Michio
What mascara do you actually use? So currently, we'll end on that.
Danielle Peazer
I use L'Oreal Paris slash Paradise.
Brooke Michio
Oh, people like that one.
Danielle Peazer
Lash Paradise. And then also the gold tube. I don't know what it's called, but it's a newer one.
Katie Bellotti
Anastasia. Anastasia.
Danielle Peazer
Well, it's L'Oreal Paris.
Katie Bellotti
Oh, you mean it's a gold tube Telescopic.
Danielle Peazer
I think it might be the new one. It's not.
Katie Bellotti
I love.
Danielle Peazer
It's like a thick gold. It's just their newest mascara. I forget what it's called, but it's also very good.
Brooke Michio
What about you, Danielle? What are you. Oh, dude. Not use mascara.
Katie Bellotti
I do. I do. Oh, okay. Thrive Cosmetics. The tubing.
Brooke Michio
Oh, wow.
Katie Bellotti
Yeah, I always have problems with mascara, but this one doesn't smudge too much, so that's how I judge a mess.
Danielle Peazer
It looks really good.
Brooke Michio
I think it looks really good. The tarte tubing mascara was pretty good. I like it too.
Katie Bellotti
Yeah, you used that up.
Brooke Michio
So I was like, yeah, switch to the next one.
Katie Bellotti
Katie, thank you so much for gracing our.
Brooke Michio
Oh, my gosh.
Katie Bellotti

Brooke Michio
I'm not, I'm not.
Danielle Peazer
I'm scared.
Katie Bellotti
I'm choosing not to.
