B
What's up?
A
Welcome back to Gals on the Go podcast. I'm Danielle.
B
And I'm Brooke. We are having a fabulous Wednesday.
A
A fabulous Wednesday. Very festive. We are tonight. We're going to a holiday soiree after this.
B
It just was, like, lined up perfectly, perfectly for us.
A
We're like, let's just bing, bing.
B
With a little dressed up.
A
A little dressed up. A little evening recording, which always gets silly. So you guys are in luck for sure.
B
You know, when you, like, come to the office building at night and they're like, oh, what you doing at night?
A
You know, I felt weird also. It's just. It's just that time of year where it just gets really dark so early. And that. That's actually my panic of the week. Oh, really? When you start to say something, you're like, oh, shoot.
B
Oh, shoot. Well, that's actually my panic. Should we just go right into it?
A
Is that your panic, too?
B
No, no, no. Don't you worry. That's. There's plenty to be worried about.
A
Yeah, Perfect.
B
Yeah.
A
That is my panic of the week. We're panicked because obviously we were talking about this in last week's episode. You know, we're preparing for winter, gearing up. Brooke's got the happy light. She's getting the hobbies done. I feel so grateful that I haven't, like. I feel like we all experience some form of, like, seasonal blues for sure. For me, it's the. Well, I guess this is tied into it. Like, the motivation, like, as seriously, as soon as, like, it's been getting dark. Like I panic today. Even on my way here, I'm getting ready. I'm putting my lipstick on, my lipstick.
B
So you're like, I'm getting my rouge, my rouge.
A
Putting my rouge on. And I was like, I want to film a little outfit video. Oh, it's. It's pitch black, dark out. It's. It was 4:45.
B
It's very unmotivating. But what solves it? I, I say this as I did it literally once. Waking up when the sun rises.
A
It is nice waking up with the sun.
B
So like a 6:30, like that's not going to happen.
A
You were this morning up and down.
B
Yeah, well, Ben had to wake up early for something and I just was like, I need to fix my sleep schedule. Like I've been so off that I was like, I think I need to shock my body into like. Yeah, no, I've been falling asleep at like 2am so last night I went to bed at like, you know, more reasonable time, like midnight. But I was like, I need to come back and I need to fix it tonight.
A
Yeah, you do. I actually know what you mean. I'll do that sometimes too. Like I need to wake up super early tomorrow, so I'm tired.
B
That's exactly what it is. Shock the system, shock the body.
A
Yeah, it's actually a really good way to put it.
B
Yeah. And I was actually like, oh, this is quite lovely. Now I get to see the sunrise. I felt like the day was somewhat longer even though like the sun still sets at the same time.
A
But to me it is longer in the sense of like light for sure. If you get up earlier that, that is a really good point to make. I also woke up early this morning to go to the gym with Ryan because a new gym just opened and we're really excited about it and he wanted to go see it and I knew if I wanted to go with him, I wanted to.
B
You guys went together?
A
Yeah, we went together, but we went separate activities. Yes, separate activities. And we went for 20 minutes because I bargained with him. I was like, please can we wake up at seven? Like I actually, I really didn't want to wake up at 6:30. And he was like, fine. Like we'll just go for 20 minutes and just like get a scope it out.
B
Assess the area.
A
Scope it out.
B
Is it assessed?
A
Yeah. It was really funny seeing Ryan at the gym. Like he's always told me that people watch him. People watch women.
B
Men. Men. Okay.
A
Like at the bench press. Like I, I didn't really Believe him. And then we get there and there's like these Equinox trainers and like, hey, man, like, do you want to help spot? Like, it's like this whole thing, people literally stopped to watch this man bench.
B
Whoa.
A
And I, like, don't understand. So I was like, okay. Like, I didn't appreciate. It was just very funny.
B
That's a really big deal. That's like giving performance. Like, he's doing theater. Like, really. Like, he's like, step right on the greatest show.
A
But it was like one of those things, you know when someone tells you that they do that something happens and you're like, sure, no, it happened.
B
But.
A
But I also woke up early with him. But then for me, then I'm really tired early, but he's still down to stay awake. Like, do you feel like Ben can stay up late and go to bed early and he's kind of more.
B
No, he's literally like, okay, so he needs his beauty. Like, yeah. He needs to be to sleep when he can. Like, I feel like he would sleep an additional two hours onto me. Like, honestly, like, if he. He. He will go to bed sooner than I do. If I'm going to bed at 1 or 2am like, that doesn't mean he is. I'm just up needle pointing or around.
A
Like, I don't know what I'm doing.
B
Like, literally hobbies.
A
Playing your game.
B
Yeah.
A
On the switch. Ye.
B
Something. And he fully is sleeping. Like, has been sleeping for hours.
A
Good. He also should be sleeping. He's got a lot of work to do.
B
Yeah.
A
Like, I know it's probably really tiring on the mind.
B
Men should sleep.
A
Men should.
B
Men sleep. And then they have less annoying things.
A
Yeah, exactly. It's just, you know, then you get to have your alone time. Yeah.
B
No, it's unoccup. Like, and then I don't have to worry. Like, you know, then I have like the fear looming over me. Like, almost like my parents being like, don't stay up too late, you know?
A
I know, but I'm like, you're sleeping.
B
So he doesn't even know how late I'm staying up.
A
He literally doesn't know.
B
You get into trouble out here in the living room.
A
Oh, gosh. So, yeah, that's my panic. And I know you're.
B
You're.
A
You've been panicking about this, but I've officially panicked about it. I don't remember it getting this. The sun setting this early, this soon, but I guess it is November.
B
And then it changes in when the.
A
Winter after December 21st. Then it gets. Those days get longer.
B
Yes. Isn't that what it is?
A
Yes, it is. I just like.
B
So these are really the dark days.
A
I mean, the dark days. Yeah. Yeah, true. You know, for the next month and a half.
B
Yeah.
A
We just gotta ride it out.
B
Yeah, it's. It's cozy. Get all of your sunlight filming in and stuff during the first.
A
That's another thing.
B
Day.
A
Yeah, that's another thing with filming. Obviously, we have an amazing job, but, like, it cuts down the filming hours for sure, because a lot of brands will be like, you know, please film in daylight, natural light. And it's like, oh, okay. So that leaves me. I mean, obviously we have a lot of hours in the day, but it.
B
Really is so much better to film in natural light. I really see such a difference. Like, I try to do the full lighting setup, and I'm just like, this looks like I am a ghost. Like, it just. The over. I mean. And don't get me started on overhead fluorescent lines. You know, I have an issue with those. I.
A
Big issue. Those are. Should be legal, actually.
B
I completely agree.
A
Very unflattering.
B
I completely agree. My apartment's, like, really dark, actually, because I, like, refuse to get more lights.
A
But no more big lights.
B
No more. I could get some lamps maybe.
A
Yeah. Lamps are a vibe. They're very moody.
B
Yeah.
A
I'm having an issue right now with the lamps. Where do you. I forget. Do you have the. Yeah, you have the hue, like.
B
Yes. Yeah.
A
Do you have them in, like, all of your lives? Okay. What do you do when, like. I guess you guys haven't really had people. Yeah. You've had some people stay with you. Like, they need to turn off their light. It's controlled on your app.
B
It is. But there is a manual.
A
Okay.
B
In the lamp, like, there is an on and off switch that you can, like.
A
Yeah.
B
Do a hard turn off.
A
Then it gets all messed up if they do the hard turn off.
B
Yeah.
A
And then you want to go. You go to turn it on the next day, but it's off manually. You got to turn.
B
I know we're experiencing, but I'm like, do you like.
A
I. Yeah.
B
You know, you use the light at your own discretion.
A
Yeah.
B
Like, you deserve to control that.
A
Yeah. These. The electronics are very exciting, but it also makes everything a little bit more confusing.
B
Yeah. I do love the hue lights, though. I have the best hue lights in my. My chandelier over my kitchen table. They're the ones that. I think it's like the Edison bulb is what it's called. And you see like the spiral of the light, like through it.
A
I didn't know they had that.
B
And they go from. They aren't like colored like it's just white to yellow. Like, that's the only, like, range of colors that it is. Okay. Yeah. But they are like, gorgeous. I will link these in the newsletter. They are like, it is a gorgeous light bulb. Wow. Yeah.
A
Say like Thomas Edison.
B
Yeah. I think.
A
No, I think that's gotta be because they look like the old fashioned light bulbs.
B
I'm like, I just invented this. Yeah.
A
We need Katie to do a history lesson on the light bulb. She probably already has. Who knows?
B
We do.
A
So what's your panic?
B
My panic? So obviously, you know, I've been in my needle pointing era. Share, like what I'm working on stuff.
A
Yeah.
B
This is less productive than normal. Normal. But that's okay. I'll get right back to it. I gotta get to my commissions.
A
We're doing a trip, so you'll. You'll be able to.
B
Yeah. Are you gonna need Totally. Needle one on the go? Yeah.
A
Oh, we'll be on the trip. So when this comes out.
B
Right. Yeah.
A
Yeah. We'll be on a Disney cruise. Yay.
B
Hey, I didn't get like a Disney canvas, but I have like, like a Florida one that like, you know.
A
Yes. You could work on the Florida ornament.
B
Yeah.
A
Or whatever it is.
B
Yeah. There'll be some fun ones. Yeah. In there. We'll make it fun. I should have gone a Disney one. Yeah. Maybe.
A
Hey, maybe you can run this weekend to the store. Yeah.
B
Maybe I could get them right in the nicotine.
A
Yeah. Go to the Upper east side.
B
Oh, my gosh. Okay. Someone commented on my. My Whip Wednesday. This is like. So I learned all this needlepoint slang then from Kenzie.
A
Can you please explain it to the yes.
B
Whip Wednesdays work in progress Wednesday. So everybody who's in the needlepoint community, they go online and they share. I mean, and I thought that I was like, okay, let's see if anybody likes this. And people are so nice.
A
I love it.
B
They are so kind. Like, I actually look forward to doing the videos because I'm like, I want some kindness today.
A
Oh. Not just people that don't know about it. Like people that are also in the community.
B
Yes.
A
They're accepting.
B
They are so accepting of your members. I feel like some hobbies it's gate kept to the gods like this. They are what? Come, come hug me, brother.
A
Where's my hug?
B
Literally, where's my hug? But anyways, that's Work in progress Wednesday. Another slang lns. Do you know about the lns?
A
No. What's lns?
B
Local needle point store.
A
Okay.
B
They'll say, like, go to your LNS to get these threads.
A
Like, I guess it is long to say local needle.
B
I don't know. I'm still learning the. But it feels like LNs, you know, when you start to know the lingo. I'm like, my LNs. Yeah.
A
You know, WIP or whip.
B
Whip.
A
They would never say WIP.
B
It just FL flows easier to do. And everybody has like a cute, like, tote to store all their stuff in. So I like, repurposed one of my totes. I was like, this is so fun. It's so fun.
A
It. It looks really fun. You have all of your little, like, pouches and the key rings with the threads.
B
I have like a project bag for everything because it needs to be organized. You, Danielle, the amount of pouches I have, it is. I have to send you a picture. It's ridiculous. I. But I love it.
A
It's perfect for you because you love pouches.
B
I do love a pouch. Okay, so I got a comment on my whip Wednesday that said, just. Brooke, I want to warn you to be careful because needle pointing caused me to have tendonitis. Yes. And she. She learned that she has to take a break. A two minute break every 15 minutes. Yeah. I. So new fear unlocked. You know, just when you think you find a nice cozy hobby, there's tendonitis.
A
Literally no one. Nothing is safe.
B
No.
A
Ever?
B
No.
A
So are you taking breaks?
B
Not today. I read that today and I kind of tried to. To be honest, I have. This is when I've literally done it for hours. Like, I'm sitting down and like, you know, I've. I'm watching like four episodes of a TV show or something. Like, so I know I've been there for a minute.
A
Yeah.
B
You know me. I don't. I never have to pay or anything. So I'm literally in the same.
A
You don't get up?
B
No. When I sit in that position, I do not move from that position. If anything, I like, add a blanket. Remove the blanket. Like, you know.
A
Oh, yeah, yeah.
B
If anything, I've had my hand, like, cramp up a little bit, but, like, you know, just a little shake out will do the trick.
A
Shake, shake.
B
Yeah. Literally. 1, 2, 3, 4.
A
Oh, my gosh.
B
Yeah.
A
That is a new fear unlocked.
B
You can't do it. I mean, damn. I'm over here. Like, I feel like you'll be okay. I know people have said like, be what? Be careful. The needle. Like, you know, I'm like, okay, yeah, you do need to have good lighting. I thought that it would be fun to do this with, like, ambient lighting.
A
But, like, by the fire.
B
Yeah. I was like, it's so cozy. But then I realized, like, I need, like, a book light or something to really. Because you have to see. I mean, it's.
A
The book light is back.
B
The book light is back in a.
A
Different way because you got rid of it when you got the Kindle, but now it's back. We're so back.
B
No, it's so back.
A
Sorry, Ben.
B
He hates to see that book light coming. He does. When I'm in bed with that book light in my needle, he's like, here we go. Here is the loose needles. Which is valid because I. He has, like, found a few. Like, he's been like, oh, some stray needles.
A
That will be scary.
B
Needle is loose on the floor. Yeah. And luckily it's there, not the bed or something. I don't know. Hopefully. I've been trying to keep track of all my. My needles.
A
Yes, of course. Keep your needles close, keep your friends close, keep your needs, keep the family close.
B
Drink. Where's my hug?
A
Where's my hug?
B
Yeah.
A
Oi. Well, new panic unlock. Yeah. Wishing the best on your. You have to do a stretch in those fingers.
B
No, literally two minute stretch. Every time. Yeah.
A
Every 15 minutes.
B
Yeah.
A
Okay. Glam on the go. What am I loving? Oh, I saw you were wearing some the other day as well. Having an eye patch resurgence. I used to wear them literally all the time. Like, I feel like when I first moved here, I even thought about making my own eye patches and then I fell off. I stopped wearing eye patches because I was like, are they really making a difference? But then I realized I was like, you know what? I like how they feel.
B
Agreed.
A
You know, like, do you feel like when you take an eye patch off, you look.
B
Some brands, yes.
A
Some brands, yes.
B
Some brands, no. I. I think it's about the consistency of it. And I think that honestly, genuinely, like, it needs to be pretty slimy for it to do something totally. Like, I will need there to be product, like, left on my face.
A
Yeah. Like residue to almost, like work into the skin.
B
So it's like an eye serum almost.
A
Yes. That's. That's what I've been thinking about as well, because a makeup artist. I follow she was talking about it. She's like, no, I like the. She actually really likes the road because she feels like it's good for eye Prep. It's like, oh, okay, I'll retry that one. Very good to know. But really enjoying it. More so because waking up in the morning and you're really tired, I'm like, okay, well, I'll just go get my eye patches out of the fridge and put them on.
B
And I feel, oh, you keep them in the fridge?
A
I do, yeah.
B
Maybe I should.
A
You should definitely do that. It's extra cooling.
B
Yeah.
A
Not all of them, but I do have, like a flip them in. Yeah. I've been having a resurgence with eye patches, so again, I'm not here to tell you they work, but I, I, they work in the sense that they feel really, really good on my skin in the morning. Like drinking some coffee. They. They start to slide off a lot.
B
Yeah.
A
Depends on the brand, but that's how.
B
You know it's time to take them off. Usually I don't go by the time I go by the. Are they falling off?
A
Oh, yeah. Usually I don't even look at what time it says to.
B
No, I mean, it says 10 minutes, but it's like, who actually does?
A
Only.
B
Only 10 minutes.
A
Come on. So expensive. I'm like, especially like these road ones. I'm like, I know I need to wear these for a long time.
B
So when you wear them to a workout class, can we talk about that?
A
Oh, I don't wear them to the class. I wear them. Yes. I walk to the class.
B
So you put them on right before you leave.
A
Yep.
B
And then you walk to the class and then at what point are they removed?
A
Like a block away from the gym? Whenever I see, like, the nearest trash can, I kill them all.
B
That's what my question was. I was like, is there like.
A
Yeah.
B
It's like you're letting go of them, like.
A
Yeah.
B
Before you go in.
A
Yeah. But then, was I with you? I was somewhere recently where I walked in somewhere. Oh, I think I was in Georgia. And I was like, this is weird. Like, Ryan and I were going to first watch. And I. Because we had planned on getting coffee and then going for a walk, but then, like, our plans changed. So then we went straight to breakfast. I was like, I just put these on. And Ryan's like, are you really going to wear these into first watch?
B
It's not, not the vibe. You're going to take them off here.
A
But I've been enjoying them. I just put, like, my sunglasses over top. My mom's been doing this for years, and I used to make fun of her. And then I was like, you know what?
B
Fuck.
A
It really where my. Yes. She wears her eye patches out and about in the car.
B
I didn't know that. I mean, I guess I've seen her do eye patches. I didn't realize that like she was like on these years ago though.
A
That makes sense. Well, I got her onto them in 2021, but she just keeps doing them and I kind of stopped. I'm so back though.
B
Wow. I love that for her. Yeah.
A
So iPad resurgence for a little ritual. Yeah.
B
Wow.
A

A
What'S your glam?
B
My glam? It's a under eye setting powder.
A
Speaking of the under eyes, I think we talked before this.
B
Yes. The Laura Mercier secret. Brightening color correcting long wear under eyes setting powder. Wow. Whoa.
A
We need an LNS for that one.
B
Literally. We need an S BCC L I. I feel like under eyes, I always struggle with, like, with looking chalky cakey. But if I don't set them, then, like, it's game. Like the product is just goodbye. Yeah, it's not working for me. And I think that this really works. It has, like, you pick your, like, undertone. So mine is like a little. I think that I might have like the peachy one. I might need to get the lighter shade because that's like pink versus, like peach and it's pulling a little tan.
A
I hate when that happens. I know.
B
Yeah. But the consistency is just so.
A
So is it a corrector? Not a concealer?
B
It's a powder.
A
Oh.
B
Oh, sorry. A setting powder. So I do my concealer and then I like, wait a minute, I don't know. And then I set it with the powder and then I wipe it away and it just really makes it like, lock in without creasing.
A
Is it loose or loose?
B
Specifically made for your under eyes, it's literally like, that's why it's Kind of annoying because it's like an extra product that, like.
A
Yeah. Is it like a little thing though, maybe? Because.
B
Yeah, it's a little.
A
Just a little for your under eyes.
B
And I do use it, like, then I'm like, might as well use it on my chin and like, like on my. You know, like, I'm like, I might hit the places that I get a little oily.
A
Yeah. Hit it, hit it. That's fun. I haven't seen this product. I'll have to watch you in action with it.
B
Yeah, it's a. It's a good one.
A
Did you get it during the Sephora savings event?
B
No, I actually have, like a full card and I really need to check out. I keep, like thinking, like, I'm going to want something else, though. But I'm not realizing that I could do multiple orders.
A
Oh, yeah, I have like that.
B
That's.
A
It's all.
B
Yes. You know? Yes. What you do.
A
Except they're taking forever to ship, which is totally understandable.
B
I made an order, like, somewhat recently, like, not at the ceiling event. So I.
A
The savings event.
B
The savings event. I like, recently stocked up on, like, you know when you run out of all of your skincare at the same time.
A
Yeah.
B
Like, sometimes it's like one thing at a time. There was like a period where I was like, whoa, I'm refreshing out. Yes. Actually, it was weird. It was like all my road products at once. I was like, haley, are you up to this?
A
Haley. That makes sense.
B
You got it.
A
You started maybe using them all at the same time.
B
Yeah.
A
Very consistent. Consistent with them.
B
Yeah.
A
But that is crazy. I feel like that doesn't happen.
B
No. Literally, the barrier butter and the face wash at the exact same time the same day.
A
That's freaky.
B
I know.
A
Haley.
B
Weird. Haley.
A
Haley, let's talk. Come on, let's walk to me.
B
Well, you said you have a ton of stuff down and you just want to chat, so I.
A
Do you mind?
B
No, I don't mind at all. Please.
A
First off, let's talk about air travel.
B
Air travel?
A
Yeah, like a comedian, you know, when they talk, not how, you know, things are getting shut down right now. I was like, oh, going more light because that's what we do here on. I've been waiting to tell you sort of for so long. I hope it hits. I just think it's so crazy. So we've talked about this before, but when we're traveling and you land, everyone stands up, as we know. And I think people are getting more and more greedy with the standing up and, you know, trying to get to the front. I landed in Atlanta a few weeks ago for a wedding. Flight lands, and as soon as everyone stands up, there's this couple. They're coming from the back, and they are, you know, being so annoying. Like, they're not even being like, I'm so sorry. Like, I have a con. You know, they're just, like, running through whatever, kind of just not being nice. And they were like, sorry, guys. Sorry, guys. We're, you know, we have a connection. We have a connection. Someone. I love this person. They are the mvp. All you hear is someone in their chair go, we landed early. And I thought it was so funny and so true. Like, we literally land 20 minutes early, and they're like, we have this really tight connection. It's like, we landed early. So you are. Like, you're fine.
B
Yeah. You have to be fine. Yeah, we're fine.
A
But it was so funny. We landed early because it was like, you know.
B
Yes. I love.
A
Like, I love the announcement.
B
Did you ever see who it was or they were?
A
No, because they stayed seated. Because why do we all. Especially a flight from LaGuardia to Atlanta. It's not that long of a fight. You don't need to stand up right away, Janice. Like, you don't have to.
B
No, you don't need to stand up right away. I completely agree. I. I think it's unnecessary, necessary. When people, like, especially. I'll be in row, like I usually do. My strategy is, like, one of the first rows of Maine, because you get a little bit more leg room, but, like, you don't have to pay extra. Like, that's, you know, that's the Brook Mitchell way.
A
Yeah.
B
Good strategy, especially for, like, these, like, shorter domestic places.
A
Yeah.
B
Okay. That's fine. We're in row 21. Why are you standing up right away? Like. And they stand up, and I'll be, like, deep in, like, my. Whatever I'm doing on my phone or reading. And they stand up in such a way that I'm like. Like, whoa. It's our turn. Like, yeah.
A
And you're like, oh, we gotta go.
B
We gotta go.
A
But no, don't you.
B
No, no. They just. They grab all their things and they, like, prepare. I'm like, you're gonna be standing here for a solid 15 minutes.
A
Like, yeah. And we know they turn, like, the air off so you're hot. It's like, just take a.
B
Relax. Take a load off.
A
Because I'm most always in the aisle, and I'm not getting up for you. Yeah, the aisle that we get to control the aisle. You get to control the window middle. I'm so sorry.
B
You really just controlled our thing and you lost. Yeah, unfortunately.
A
How do you feel about the reclining situation? Do you feel like we shouldn't be reclining?
B
I never. I'm not the one to ask because I don't recline. So, like in my. You just go into your little. No, I go into my pod and I just. I'm like, I'm gonna suffer for three hours and then I'll get off this thing. Like, that's like.
A
What if you're flying to Europe?
B
I'll recline. Because then it's. If it's an overnight flight, I would say if it's more than.
A
Or to la.
B
Yeah. Yeah. Okay. But if it's a less than three hour, three hour domestic flight. I know there's extenuating circumstances. You're really, really tired, whatever. Like, and I know you need to sleep, but, like, for the most part, if you are awake and alert.
A
Yeah.
B
Why do you need to recline?
A
It's way more comfortable. I'm clearly team.
B
Yeah. Yeah.
A
I just don't get why people are all in a tizzy about this recently. Because why? Like, we all can recline then.
B
It's like the.
A
It's a domino.
B
Yes, exactly. Yes.
A
But like, the only person that's screwed, I guess, is the person all the way in the back. Unless they can. Unless they can. I don't know.
B
There's also certain rows that can't recline. Yeah, right. Like that. Isn't that like the exit rounds? Yeah, some of the seats in the exit. Sorry, like, sorry, you chose the wrong seat.
A
I get. Are not cheap these days. I'm reclining.
B
I'm not mad about it.
A
Like, you can do it. I brought this up, but I. I.
B
Choose not to do it. I prefer when people don't. But I'm not. Like, when someone like, in front of me replies. I'm not like you Put it back. Yeah.
A
We all are not reclining.
B
You.
A
No, I can tell. Sometimes when I recline, I could feel them, you know, in the back, like someone behind me kind of, you know. But recline. I. I don't care.
B
What bothers me the most is when someone's like, like kicking or moving, like, and you feel they're like. I don't know if it's because they're in the pocket so much or it feels like I'm like hearing.
A
Like, like I feel like I'm.
B
Why? Because you're ruffling through Your things or what?
A
No, I just feel like I squirm a lot when I sit. I mean, even when we record the podcast, like, I'm moving.
B
Yeah.
A
And I get self conscious about that. For sure.
B
It is what it is. Yeah.
A
No, but that's good to know from the other.
B
Coming from the other side, you know, we stay.
A
We stay still.
B
Stay still. Don't. Don't recline, please.
A
My next thought, totally opposite. But these are just things I've written.
B
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, you've been traveling a lot. You've been on. You've gone on many, many flights. I mean, Danielle's. We looked at our delta status. Yes, I know. Are you proud to announce?
A
Not just. Well, no. I'll say. I'm about to hit diamond medallion. I'm very, very easy. It's a big, you know.
B
Yeah, that's like. You get, like, really good perks, and I hope. No, you're gonna get upgraded. I mean, we. You already get upgraded.
A
Yeah, we both get upgraded a lot.
B
But diamond, I mean, that's like. No, clear the way. There's a diamond coming through.
A
Like, and I'm gonna be annoying about it.
B
Are you gonna put the tag on your bag? You should. Diamond is worth it. Like, that's like.
A
I'm gonna.
B
Yeah, okay.
A
I'll think about it. I'm definitely gonna board with the diamond people.
B
You know, I see the diamonds come through, I'm like, I. I back up. I'm like, yeah, you go, go. Save yourself.
A
Get out there. Yeah, no, for sure. Very exciting. The other thought I had. It has nothing to do with travel, unfortunately. Is that okay?
B
Yeah, go. Yeah.
A
Thoughts on Froyo? Oh, you do like it. Yeah.
B
Yeah. Oh, why are we gonna debate this right now? What's made. Well, what's the context of this in travel?
A
No, nothing to do with travel.
B
Oh. Just it's completely separate.
A
Earring over. That was like, is this my earring your earrings are in. Okay.
B
It looks like it's like a bolt.
A
Oh, just kidding. It's like my earrings on Froyo. Okay, Sorry. Forgot you liked Froyo.
B
I. I've had a resurgence with Froyo recently because I realized that, well, yeah, I went to the Mimi's place, but I just realized that, like, I love a slop bowl. Like, have you seen these webs about, like, slop bowls?
A
No, like.
B
Like, people call, like, a triple label like a slop bowl. It's like, oh, I love, like, a sloppy. Using it for everything. Like a yogurt bowl. Make a sloppy, like, you know, sloppy. Like, it's just a base with a bunch of random toppings.
A
Love that. Yeah.
B
Everything's really a sloppy. When you start to think about it, then you're like, oh, okay. Like, most of the. At least for me, I feel like I eat things that have toppings. Like, oh, and I'll say bowl sloppable.
A
Like, yeah, no, I do like that. Okay. And you know, I'm going to discount you from this.
B
Okay.
A
Because you like it for a different reason. I've never felt this way by people. Like, I love frozen yogurt. Like, we should go to, like, culture or whatever that place is.
B
Like, no, I don't.
A
Have you tried that place?
B
No. Is it, like, soury taste?
A
It's sour, yeah.
B
No, I'm like, no, no, no.
A
If I'm gonna, like, have dessert, like, let's go to Cold Stone Creamery. Like, I want cake batter, ice cream, sprinkles.
B
Oh, no, I'm getting, like, brownie batter flavored froyo. Like, there's not. Okay. It's not for the health purposes. It's. It's simply because I like the taste.
A
Okay. So I just. I guess I just don't like the taste, and I don't understand it because I. It's also because I don't like a lot of dessert. So when I want dessert, it's like, why would I punish myself? But when you have froyo, like, be real with me. Like, if you're getting fro, you're like, I feel like I'm being a little bit healthier or.
B
No. Yeah, definitely.
A
A little bit.
B
Like, I mean, definitely healthier than, like, getting, like, three scoops of ice cream. I'm like, ah, this is.
A
It's yogurt.
B
It's better. Like, maybe I don't. But, like, maybe it's just the psychology. I also feel like I could. Like, I'm a volume eater. Like, I can eat. Eat more of it. Like, you know, rather than, like, ice cream. Like, sometimes it's so thick and rich. Rich. Two scoops like this. I'm like, I just made a $20 slop bowl. Like, yeah.
A
Like, I never.
B
I don't know. I think I'm using it right. Like, slopes, really. Like, it's the Chipotle bowl, like, the Mediterranean bowls or whatever. But, like, I just use it for everything. Like, everything is a slop bowl.
A
I like that. No, it's like, go to Cava.
B
Cava is.
A
Yes. That's really fun.
B
It's like a meme. It's like, the finance Bros love spending $20 on their daily slop bowl. Like.
A
Yeah, that's literally Ryan. Every day he goes and gets really sloppy. Yeah.
B
Wow.
A
I mean, that's. I feel like that's what they sell.
B
Pax is lunch.
A
Oh, yeah.
B
He's economical these days.
A
Oh, I'm sorry. Ryan does pack his lunch, but when he's doesn't. Oh, yeah, I should give him that credit.
B
Well, you pack his lunch. Actually, we have to talk.
A
Yeah, I'm like, he literally packed his chicken and rice this morning. But some days if he's in a rush or before he started packing his lunch, he was slopping. But he does a lot of slot bowls for dinner. Yeah, I. I like a good for sale packing lunch.
B
Froyo also has a little bit of a nostalgia feel for me because I was.
A
I think that's what it is for people.
B
It was right around the time that I got my license that it had its like, big peak.
A
I missed it. You know, you're much, much older.
B
Much, much older. Yeah. So when I was getting my license, you were just a baby.
A
Like, you're just a baby. Little, little eighth grade daddy. Yeah, that's true. I think I also missed that because none of my. We maybe we once or twice, sophomore year, went to Pinkberry or whatever that place is.
B
Yeah, we didn't have that. We had like local like literally like mom and Pop, like frozen yogurt shops, like Long island chains of them.
A
Yeah.
B
And they all had the same things. I mean, they all had. It was basically boxed candy as the options. Like they were topping the box. But like, it was like, you know, the cookie dough bites and the M M's.
A
I do like that.
B
Yes. And then fruit, like, fruit is options too. Right. But I'm like, who the is going to frozen yogurt and getting like.
A
No, people are.
B
I know that they are, but that's. It's not for me.
A
I think it's the place I went to this culture place in Greenwich Village. I went like literally two years ago.
B
Oh, so you're still thinking about it?
A
Still thinking about.
B
Well, because I've just.
A
I've been hearing about Froyo again. People are excited about it again, the Mimi Sweet treat. I forgot you went there.
B
Yeah, Huge line.
A
Huge line, but very popular place. Okay.
B
I do have to say I, I. On the note of yogurt, I tried Greek yolk because I'm trying to be healthy. I was like, you know what? I'll retry. I've never been like a Greek yogurt. Bowl person. I really.
A
Yeah.
B
I'll do, like, overnight oats or something, but, like, not really Greek yogurt bowl. Do you.
A
I actually weirdly like Greek yogurt.
B
This is so weird. Berries in your salad, you don't like, like, the sourness of it?
A
That's not dessert. Like, that's my secret.
B
I agree, but I just, like, tried it. I was like, this is foul. It's foul. I just.
A
Unflavored flavor.
B
Unflavored. But I put so much stuff in it. I put almond butter because I put granola. I put fruit.
A
I like froyo. This is also interesting.
B
I like the furries that aren't very, like. I don't know what that. It's sour. Really? Like, it's that, like.
A
Yeah. You don't like the sour?
B
No, no.
A
Yeah. Yeah. I don't make sense if I don't like culture. But then I like the Greek yogurt. But.
B
Yeah, well, culture is, like, extreme Greek yogurt.
A
It is, like, yeah, extreme. I don't know if it's Greek. I'm just saying, like, it's like, that sour probiotic.
B
Yeah. Yeah. You could tell by the name. It's like. It's culture.
A
Yeah, that sounds like kombucha. Like, sour. No, for sure. I have more for you. Well, you did see this, because I put this on my close friends, and I would have put it on my story, but, like, I can't. Guys. I tried my friend's breast milk.
B
I wasn't sure if you were gonna talk about this. Wow, that's.
A
Is that weird to say?
B
No, it's not weird. People have said this before. I think it's crazy. I think you're nuts, but you're like.
A
I just held a baby. Like, I.
B
No, I see you, and I am staying over here.
A
I. Yeah, I. I've always wondered what breast milk tastes like. Have you not wondered? I mean, I guess we had it.
B
When we were younger, but, yeah, it tasted so good.
A
Yeah.
B
The days.
A
I love the hazelnut flavor.
B
No, I was a formula kid. I don't know when my, like, so does that mean my mom. I don't know like, how that. Like, when you stop, like. But my mom was like, no, you're a formula.
A
And I'm like, so you never wear breastfeed?
B
No. Or what? I don't know. Actually. Now I need to ask my mom.
A
Maybe just latch.
B
All I know is that I was like, yeah, I always love that process.
A
Like. Yeah, you love that process. Give me that cold foam.
B

A
Well, I did it. I, I felt very com. My friend who I tried her breast milk, she's very open about all this stuff and like we were at a wedding and she had to go up to the hotel room to pump and I was like, I'll go with you to like keep you company. That was very nice with my drink in hand and I was like, is this like so crazy that I want to try your breast milk? She's like, oh my God, no, let's do it. So she takes a straw, she like, it puts a little in my mouth. Granted it was like, like the Tiniest drop. It did. It tasted like sweet milk. We've got giggles in the studio.
B
Like, I'm like, literally, like, I could throw up. Like, I could actually.
A
You might think that.
B
I don't know why. Like, that to me, like, that's like.
A
No. Yeah. There's gonna be forums about me now.
B
Daniel Carolyn's express.
A
Disgusting. You know what? What told me I could do it is on Summer House. I think it was Paige.
B
Yeah.
A
Tried Lindsay's.
B
Yeah. No, people do it.
A
So if Paige Sorbo did it, I was like, yeah, she's the people's princess.
B
Like, I. I just don't have a desire. No. Like, that to me.
A
I know you would literally ever. Would you try your own?
B
Maybe. But, like, I don't think I would, like, look forward to it. Like, I. I don't think I would.
A
Be like, well, yeah, I wasn't Like, I was really. I guess I did look forward to it in the sense. Because I brought it up, but I definitely had a moment of like, am I doing this?
B
You know? Yeah, maybe a few drinks got you. Yeah, for sure. Yeah.
A
Like, there were shots. Yeah, I'm gonna try, but it was a fun little moment. We were with another girl, too, who I, like, didn't know very well, so she probably.
B
Wow. She has stories to tell about.
A
You definitely went back. It's like, that girl. My God. Oh, yeah, I know her.
B
She's clearing it up here because everyone in Georgia already knows about Danny's drinking.
A
Breast milk at the wedding in the back. Honestly, like, I feel like I should have had a little bit more, but really, just to, like, really.
B
Whoa.
A
Or I'll just try all my friends breast milk. They say it's really good for your immunity.
B
I mean, I'm sure. But, like.
A
But then I, like, kind of got the sniffles, so I.
B
And how I get. Oh, my God. I don't know. I just have questions. Like, I think I understand the curiosity. Like, I'd be like, oh, what? Like, what is this? You know?
A
But. But for me, no, I don't think you would. Something's gonna change in you one day, though. I just know it. I can't wait for you to become a mom one day. Like, no.
B
And I want. Like, I want to and stuff. Like, I. I feel like I. Yeah, no, for sure. I have so many questions on, like, pumping and stuff. Like, I don't really understand. I know. I know. What?
A
You know, can you.
B
You can't drink when you're prom. Or you can.
A
No, you can. You can. They say this is what I've seen online. No, no. You could say. They say, if you can find your baby, you can feed your baby. So, like, if you're really, like. If you're like, tip. Like, if you can find your baby, get her on those women.
B
Yes, you could feed your baby. Well, now it does make sense. I feel like people drink.
A
Like, well, yeah, like, some people feel like they can't, but that's the word on the street.
B
How long do you. I don't even know how long you breastfeed for? Like, is it like a year? Is it two years? Like, I legit have no idea.
A
No, I don't know.
B
Yeah.
A
Gals talking about things they don't know.
B
I don't know. I was in my elevator the other day, and there was a baby, and someone asked, like, how old it was, and she was like, 36 months. They love. Okay, so it's a year. Like, I'm doing the math. Isn't that.
A
That's two.
B
That's three years.
A
Three years. That's three years. That's three years old. Wait, that's three years old.
B
It was 32 months or something. It was.
A
Okay.
B
It was. I was like, I think we've progressed past months at this point.
A
The reason they do this, they say, is because every month counts.
B
I know.
A
You know, Every month.
B
I know. I know.
A
We're clearly not in our mother era right now. People are like, you guys.
B
No, I know. I respect it.
A
No, but it's fun. Like, I feel like people that weren't mothers before, like. Like, they felt the same way. We did.
B
Truly.
A
Like, it's. You don't know until you know. Know until you're in it.
B
You don't know until you know.
A
I literally had a whole thing with my therapist about it today.
B
Really?
A
I was like, oh, my God, the thought. Like, I'm just like. I feel like I'm so far from it. She's like, that's okay. That's.
B
You don't. You can be that.
A
I was like, I just don't feel like I'm prepared. She's like, you're like, it's.
B
Why do you have to prepare now?
A
I have no idea. You know what it is? I went to the gyno today.
B
Oh.
A
And not that. I don't know. Just we were talking about it.
B
All that bad news?
A
No, no, no. It was good. It was really good. I love my gyno. It's like. Like, you always get yourself so worked up for these things, for sure.
B
And it's.
A
And it's really not that bad.
B
It's really not that bad.
A
I need to start filming. I did. I need to start watching the video. I filmed a video today, Danielle.
B
Afterwards.
A
Yeah, like, the gynecologist was literally not bad at all. It was so great. You were in and out in 20 minutes. So that next year I can watch it.
B
Watch that and be like, it's totally fine. I know.
A
Because you really get all worked out.
B
I know. I feel like. And everybody's like, does it hurt? Does it whatever.
A
I know.
B
It's like, no. Like, I mean, I don't know. Like, I feel like it's very.
A
Is yours like every other year and they do that. This pap smear.
B
I've been doing it every year, but I don't know if that's what. Was this an off year for you?
A
Yeah, no, no, this was a year to do it. So I'm like, okay, next year it won't. Literally. Yeah. A little, little break. But it. That part is a little crampy.
B
It's not comfortable. But it's like you work yourself up again and then you're like, that's the worst of it. Like, that's how I feel at least.
A
No, totally. I like. And I have to make things weird or I just feel weird. So I was. She's like, literally, you know, up in my business. And I was like, can you believe you do this every day?
B
Stop. I swear on my life.
A
I was like, I can't believe you just like, do this every day. She's like, oh, yeah, every day. I was like, and you like it? She's like, I love it. It's my job. She was like, my 16 year old daughter thinks I'm crazy. I was like, yeah, I do too.
B
Like, she's literally in me and that is. You're like doing bits with her. Oh, my God. And she's. You're like, wow. So what's it like down there?
A
I have every doctor's nightmare because I need to be talked down. Like, while they're taking my blood pressure. I'm like, I don't want. My blood pressure would be high. So like, let me just talk. And like, oh, my God. I just. I'm like, let me tell you about my weekend while we, you know.
B
Yes. Yeah. Like you have like.
A
During a blood test.
B
Where were we recently? Oh, my God. We were like at. We were like meeting new friends and like getting coffee.
A
Yeah.
B
Or something. And.
A
Oh, I was with you.
B
Someone started talking about like their health struggles. And I look over at Danielle and She literally. I know. You were like. Like, I could see the sense of panic on your face. You see, like, a single bead of sweat. Like, no, you don't sweat. But, you know, like, I saw her.
A
Be like, no, I am sweating today. My armpits are literally dark right now. So don't worry.
B
It's a sweater. Yeah, no, but I saw you. I saw you, like, literally just sitting there. Like, I saw into your soul. Like, you were just listening to her, like, being like. And I. You know, when it's a new friend, like, I didn't have it in me.
A
To be like, don't say that right now.
B
Doesn't like that.
A
No, you knew, basically, this girl said something that happened to her. She was like, no prior medical issues. This just happened to me. And I leaned back, and Brooke looks.
B
At me with the biggest whites in.
A
Her eyes, like, oh, no. Danielle, you good? I was like, oh, fine. Just new fear unlocked. Yeah.
B
Yeah. She was like, no family history.
A
Yeah, no.
B
No. Completely ra. Random.
A
Like, no. Anytime. And, like, I'm just making light of this, but, like, anytime something happens to someone or, like, some. You know, I feel like we're both like, okay, well, there was their history. You know, literally, I needed to make myself.
B
Are they.
A
Yeah.
B
So many questions. Yep. I'm like, I need to know, has this happened before?
A
Yeah, like, okay, maybe. Okay, so this is happening. You know, I have to, you know, tell myself that I'm okay.
B
No, I feel the same way.
A
Because the constant. I feel like you do have, like, a little health anxiety.
B
I do. To a certain. Let me diagnose. Yeah, diagnose both. Not as bad as, like, I feel like you hear about it and you're like, la, la, la, la.
A
Like, yeah, I can't even talk about it.
B
I could talk about it a little bit, but then it gets to a point. I mean, like, would your dad. Did you tell your dad, like, to stop telling you at certain points stuff? Because I feel like Ben. His med school friends will, like, talk about, like, guts and whatever. I'm like, it's too much. Like, I don't care. Like, that's disgusting.
A
Yeah, well, my dad just, like, reads X rays, so it's not. But I'm sure. Yeah, I'm sure with their. The friends.
B
Well, they'll just talk about, like, what they saw and, like.
A
Yeah.
B
And they'll be like, oh, you know. Yeah, I saw this today. And, like. Like, then they start, like, explaining, and they think it's so cool. I think it's cool that they think it's cool, but I'm like, oh, it's.
A
Beautiful that someone cares and, like, loves that. Hey, can't.
B
Can you believe you do this?
A
Hey, can you believe you do this every day? She was like, yeah, I really.
B
Yeah. I literally, like, planned my whole life to do this.
A
And she's one of those type of doctors, too. It's very, like, matter of fact, like, hey, you know, like, you know, just. It's very silly. Next thing.
B
Oh, next topic.
A
I think I actually sent you this video. Yeah. And I think it's a good. I wanted to share this. I'm so sorry, I can't cite who posted about this is. I think it was another podcast, actually. They were talking about couples living together. You know, obviously, I'm still, you know, I'm a few months in, so. And one of my biggest things we talked to Mel Robbins about it was the mess, things being left out. You know, some things, you just need to let them. They live there, too. I'll never forget when she said that. But something new that Ryan and I are starting to adopt, and I'm really enjoying it is having a fake, like, housekeeper. Did I send you this?
B
Yes. I think it's very funny.
A
It's perfect. It is perfect. So now, you know, if Ryan left out some socks. Oh, Edwin forgot to move the socks. Ryan still wants to name it a girl. I want to name it a guy. You know, we're still working on the name of this said housekeeper, but it allows it to make it fun and light. But also, you know, because I have some things, too, that I, you know, I leave boxes around and sort of. Totally.
B
Oh, totally. And I make no sense. Like, I'll, like, literally freak out. Like, your laundry is like. But then it's like, I have stuff legit in every single room. Like, you know what I mean? Like, I have stuff on the table. I have stuff on the kitchen island. I have stuff on the couch. I have stuff, like. Yeah, it's so. And it's like the one pile of his laundry. I'm like, that's what took me out today.
A
Like, no, I couldn't agree more. Would you say your bedroom is more your stuff or. No? Like, I feel like my. Our bedroom is like, like, all my stuff. Because that's the closet.
B
Yeah, I guess it depends. Like, it's like a floating system between that and the second bedroom. It's really like, whoever needs the second bedroom more like, at the time? Like, then it's like, you know, like.
A
Right now you're packing for something.
B
Yeah. So Right now. Like, yeah, the. Yes. The bedroom is, like, my zone. But sometimes it's like the office is complete Brooke takeover. Like, yeah. And that's, like, where all my stuff is. So I guess it depends.
A
It is so true, though. We choose our. But, you know, it's like I have things literally all over the place, everywhere, and they have just, like, this little corner, but it just. It just feels like. But I guess maybe we feel like, oh, well, they just have those few things. Like, why can't they keep those together?
B
I feel that way so much.
A
The laundry.
B
Yeah.
A
Ryan's had a pile of laundry for about three days on the dresser.
B
Three days.
A
I know. And I'm, like, this close to folding it, but then I'm like. And am I folding his laundry now? You know, like, it's.
B
You don't want to get. Yeah.
A
And he told me. He's like, Thursday night is my. I'm folding my laundry. Okay.
B
Thursday night, midnight. Hey.
A
Okay. Then you could fold the laundry. I don't know.
B
That's really funny. Hey, Thursday night.
A
Hey, Thursday night. You know, it's. I mean, and I used to be like that with my mom. I used to be like, yeah, I'll get to my laundry on. You know, like, of course. We all do these things, so. It's very funny.
B
Life imitates art.
A
Life imitates life imitates life.
B
It's one big cycle.
A
One big cycle. I guess the last thing that I have written down. I had a lot to say.
B
Yeah, no, I. These are great topics, and they were.
A
Things for us to both talk about. So I was like, no worries. I can carry. We got this. Have you heard of this app, Very Necessary Emojis?
B
No.
A
Oh, my God, I'm obsessed. I'm obsessed. I feel like I've sent you one or two there. You just downloaded. I think I paid for it. Yes, I did. Okay, there is there. It's basically another set of emojis, but they don't add to your emoji keyboard necessarily. They add to your stickers, which is very easy to access. But they are. They look like they would just be part of the emoji keyboard. There is one that is so funny to me. You've probably seen it.
B
Yes.
A
And it's like this side eye. It's like this. Oh, my God, it hits. Like. Earlier today, our doorman texted both me and Ryan, like, ubereats headed up. And I was like, oh, now Ryan knows. Like, I ordered Uber Eats. He's at work. So I texted Ryan on the side, you Know the side emoji. Like, it's so fun. I highly suggest the dow.
B
I'm very interested in this. That sounds.
A
I'll show you after this.
B
Search for, like, what you want.
A
You can't search. You have to scroll, so you have.
B
To manually find whatever.
A
Yeah, but there's, like, really cool, funny ones. I just. I'm gonna show you after, and that's good. I. I think that I do suggest that you guys get this.
B
All right. I wasn't sure if I was gonna talk about this, but I just think it's gonna be very funny. Yeah.
A
Let's go.
B
I don't. Haven't even told you yet. I haven't. I literally haven't told anyone. I moved in silence. I moved in silence.
A
Oh, my God, I'm scared.
B
Silence. No, it's not scary. Okay. I think I told you that I was gonna do this. So I. Upon going on Accutane, I found out about this phenomenon called Accutane Nose.
A
Oh, my God. Are you getting a nose job?
B
No. Okay. I'm not getting a nose job, but I have to tell you about my first nose job. So we're gonna. This is a whole story. Like, strap in.
A
All right.
B
Accutane nose phenomenon, Basically, it's a known thing where basically, like, almost, like, the puffiness around your nose goes down. Like, the skin. I don't. I don't know. The glands. Something about the glands. Like, okay, it.
A
They make sure it knows. Skinnier.
B
Yes. Like, they say, like, you get a free nose job when you go on Accutane. That's like, the thing. Like, okay. People really like to do it. They're like, oh, my God, my nose is so much slender. Whatever. My nose. Definitely not slender. My nose actually, like, I did notice. I was like, oh, my God. I see. I see the bones. Like, it is very.
A
Yeah.
B
Oh, no. But then I really noticed. I was, like, looking back at, like, footage and just, like, even doing my makeup and stuff. I was like, that's so weird. Like, my bump is, like, way more prominent now. So I decided. I was like, I kind of want to, like, look into this. Like, it's, like, a little. You know, it's not bothering me so much. But, like, we're on camera and, like, whatever. And, yes, technically, like, that should have been fixed, like, when I got my nose job nine years ago. Like, you know, like, it didn't be.
A
Oh. Because it was just bigger, so you might have not seen.
B
Yes, it was puffier. So it was, like, hidden in, literally in the puff. Like. No, I Swear, like, it was like, kind of like coated.
A
Yeah.
B
In skin. Yeah. But then it started to really reveal itself in the real shape, you know.
A
Came about, really came about, really came. Accutane.
B
Yes. Which for most people would be a great thing, but I think for me, it just really revealed the truth that was lying underneath the hood. You know, like when you're like, oh, this is a real problem, 100%. And the way to combat this, from what I heard, is, yeah, you get another nose job. I don't really want to do that. I mean, also, like, when you start getting into second, third nose job, like, I feel like I don't wanna say it, but you end up like Michael Jackson. Like, you do.
A
Yeah.
B
And I don't want to end up no nose. Like, I'm scared. I don't want it.
A
He was. Yeah, yeah. Getting flatter.
B
And you run out of material. Like, there's no letter that you do. I know. Sorry.
A
No, it's okay. I'm not triggered by that one. I can handle it.
B
No, no, no. No fear. They're coming to take. Watch out. Danielle, you know when people got your nose, got your. No.
A
Oh, no.
B

B
That's literally what it was. I felt like. And I felt like I was like making myself crazy because I was like, is it really that bad? Like, I don't really know. So then I the way so you can fix this, obviously, with another nose job or they say that there's this thing called like a. A non surgical nose job. What is a non surgical nose job? Literally just putting filler in your nose.
A
Oh my God. Did you.
B
Yeah, I'm getting there.
A
Okay.
B
I'm getting there. You're spoiling the story. And I realized that that's what I needed because basically, like, it was uneven and I saw that the bump was out. So I was like, if I just get a little bit of filler on this side, it should be even.
A
You know what I mean?
B
So I, I went to a person who like specializes in this because I wasn't gonna around, I was like, I need to like, go to some who does this regularly and is good at the non surgical nose job. Not just like filler, not just whatever. Like, they do this procedure often. Yep.
A
You do your research.
B
I have to tell you that the doctor like, he, he took a look at my nose and I felt like it was people with your finger.
A
Oh, like your nose goes like that.
B
He was like, this is crooked. He's like, this shit's crooked. He was like, actually, no, it. He roasted it actually to a point where he was like, like, I've seen worse nose jobs, but oh my God, this is. It is not good. Like, yes. I was like, oh my God. Like, I wasn't expecting this today.
A
I was like, wait, I've never noticed.
B
Truth comes out. He was like. He first was like, oh, yeah, like up here. But then when he actually like got out under the hood to like really start working, he was like, nah, it is, it is.
A
It was messed up.
B
It's over here. It's over here. Like, it was just, like, crooked all over. And I was like, like, holy. Here I was talking to everybody, telling them, like, I got the best nose job ever. And meanwhile, I've been botched all these years. I've. It was just under the hood, but.
A
Like, from the front, you can't tell.
B
You can't tell. But once I guess, like, you know, you saw the actual, like, bone structure. Like, you saw that. What? It was like. And so he put filler in it and like, I guess, like, really fixed it. But now it looks. It definitely looks, like, bigger, which isn't, like, my favorite thing.
A
When did you do this?
B
Literally yesterday.
A
Okay. Because I'm like, I'm trying to think.
B
Oh, literally yesterday. I'm still black. Like, it's definitely, like, black and blue still underneath. It's, like, tender to the touch.
A
Oh, so you had a big day yesterday.
B
Yeah.
A
Wow.
B
Yeah, no, I definitely had a.
A
You moved in silence.
B
I moved in silence because I was like. Like, I'm so anti filler these days. But at the same time, clearly, this is what I needed. And I asked him, I was like, doctor, like, would you. Would you advise me to get. Like, I will get another nose job. Like, tell me. Tell.
A
Hey, put me under. Hey, what do I gotta do?
B
He was like, like, no, no. He was like. Because once again, like, I don't. He was like, I don't know. He, like, I don't know what's under there. By the looks of it. It's not good.
A
He was like, I don't want to go under the hood.
B
Yeah.
A
Yeah. I was like, I've seen enough for me cosmetic.
B
Literally. I. I was like, what did he say?
A
He said, look at your nose.
B
No inverted V deformity. And a nose literally was like, I. We're gonna find pictures that I'm gonna.
A
Show you because I'm going to your Instagram.
B
I didn't even do it before and after because I was like, like, it's not. It's gonna be such a subtle change. It's not even that big of a deal. I'm just gaslighting. I truly thought I was gaslighting myself. And when he saw it, he was like, yeah. He's like, yeah.
A
And you're like, oh, okay.
B
Yes.
A
I Like, really?
B
We're gonna. I'll show you some more close ups.
A
We'll inspect.
B
Yeah. We'll go back and forth.
A
Wow. Oh, my God.
B
Not to have anyone do new insecurities unlocked, but I guess that's the lesson here is I'M not. I do not regret getting it at all. Like, Cuz I still think that for all. For nine years. She served me good.
A
Yeah. I think you have a beautiful nose. I really do.
B
Thank you. And it was good. Like it fit my face at the time. But my thing is you don't think twice before you go under the knife. I think that's what my lesson is because I think that.
A
Well, what do you regret getting a nice job?
B
No, I don't regret it because it ended up looking fine. But like, I don't know, it looks fine for all those years, I guess. But at the same time, I'm like, now I feel like I have more problems than I had to begin with. You know what I'm saying?
A
I also think, and I say this out of love. I think once you, you start, you just keep going.
B
I know, I know. No, it's true.
A
Because that's what I know. As soon as I start. Oh yeah, I'm going. And it's gonna happen, by the way. I'm not better than it, but I know I'm gonna be like, well, now I want to do this.
B
Yeah.
A
And I want to do that. So that's probably why. But I, I still think, like, I think it's been. It's looked great. Like I think, no.
B
And I, I'm happy with it. I am. But I think that now that I'm aware of the problems, I'm like, whoa. Like now I'm gonna have to live with these problems forever.
A
But now your nose looks good.
B
I guess I just have to go once a year and get the.
A
I say that I didn't notice yesterday either, so.
B
No, that's the thing. It's very subtle change. Like no one really noticed. It's still a little swollen. So hopefully it will go like the filler will accept.
A
Yeah.
B
Go down. I didn't want to get filler again. Like, you know what if this is what it's better than, I guess another nose job.
A
Did you ask him just because you had the under eye filler move, like, can this.
B
Yes. I was like, is it. Will it migrate? He's like, no. Like, he answered all my questions.
A
Yeah.
B
He was like, actually, I never advise people to get under eye filler because.
A
So he's.
B
It's a really tough region. He's past the lymphatic drainage and stuff. He actually said. And I was like, that makes perfect sense because yeah, like when you wake up in the morning, your eyes are puffy and stuff.
A
Yeah.
B
You. Filler just makes it 10 times. He was like, would you wake up sometimes and be really puffy? I was like, actually, yeah.
A
Now they really say that. Oh, that's really interesting. I mean, now that you say that, like, yes, I was in your point of view. I wasn't like, now that you say that.
B
Anyways. So now. Now that you say that. So anyways, the Accutane knows, like, once again, all these things were worth it. Like, I would. Accutaneously amazing.
A
Oh, my God.
B
Yeah. Like, I just. I. It slowly, over time, really spoke on my nose. And I was like, am I Captain Hook? Like, is that. He's the one with the. The weird nose? The. Isn't there, like, a Disney, like, villain?
A
There's Pinocchio.
B
No, he's.
A
He's got a big nose.
B
He. He's not lying.
A
He's got a weird. No, I don't know. Captain Hook. Maybe he has a weird nose. I guess we'll find out on this Disney cruise.
B
Like, yeah.
A
Oh, yeah. He. I mean, yeah. Yeah, that's a nose.
B
Nose. Yeah.
A
I don't really look at noses. I've never been that, like.
B
Because you have a good one, so you don't have to worry about it. No.
A
I don't know. I've never been told I have a good nose. Like, you know, when you're around the table, it's like, oh, I wish I had your dose. Like, no one ever tells me that. So I.
B
But I'm happy you have. It's completely smooth. No crooks. No.
A
Yeah, not really. Thank you.
B
Yeah. I think that he would say it's good. Like, you know, under the hood, things are good.
A
Under the hood, things are good. No. Oh, gosh. Well, thank you for sharing. I. I don't think there's any problem with sharing that.
B
No. We'll see. And if anyone has been in this position similarly, I guess, let me know your tips and stuff. I'm sure people could just stop doing stuff and like. Yeah, like, I. After.
A
I'm not here to tell you to stop doing stuff. I just could see.
B
I mean, it was validating, actually, to hear, like, yeah, this shit's crooked.
A
Like, you know what I mean? Like. Okay. That's what I thought.
B
I wanted to hear it, actually.
A
Yeah, you did. You did want to hear it. And. And he told you and he fixed it.
B
Hey, hey, hey. You never know.
A
I'm just, like, looking at your nose. I, like, don't want to.
B
Yeah, no. I've been looking at everybody's nose now. Right. Recently.
A
Yeah. I feel like once you're fixed. Like, I've been looking at everyone's teeth because now that I'm getting Invisalign, I'm like, looking at everyone's teeth. Like, that's, you know, we've all got it. Yeah. And maybe I'll be so obsessed with Invisalign. I'll be, like, so into teeth and, like, constantly need to make it perfect. Who knows? Who knows? I fixate on something. Who knows?
B
Look, if I pop out like, Michael Jackson, five years, just, you know, say, brooke, you've gone too far.
A
I'll let you know right now. You look great.
B
It's been six nose jobs. Yeah, bro, give it up.
A
I. I thought you were about to tell me that you're getting another nose job. And I was gonna be like, what?
B
People get revisionals.
A
But, like, I've heard of this.
B
To go to, like, an expert, though, because once again, like, I understand what he's saying. He's like, I don't know what's going on with the scar. Like, how things.
A
How they.
B
How it. Yeah. Like, it's someone else's work, essentially. Like, it's like working on top of someone else's work.
A
Yeah. That got. That has to be a bit confusing.
B
Yeah. Right.
A
I think you're good.
B
I think it looks. We're good.
A
I'm glad you went and did the little. Because the under eye filler, when that happened, that was really bothering you went and fixed it. Amazing. Because, like, you weren't liking the podcast clips. Like, it's just it.
B
Yeah. That overhead lighting sometimes. Oh.
A
Oh, noted.
B
Yeah.
A
Thanks for sharing.
B
Of course.
A
I really enjoyed this episode. I enjoyed chatting with you.
B
A little luggage and my anger.

A
I love a late night spray.
B
Like, you do love a late night spray.
A
Oh, I get so excited, I wake up flawless.
B
It's amazing. It's like they basically talk you into bed.
A
Yeah. Well, because I wanted to be tan for our cruise, but then I also kind of wanted to lay in the sun, so I was like, maybe it can be like towards the end of my day.
B
Yeah.
A
But then this weekend I have, like, some birthday parties. So I was like, oh, it'd be nice to be tan.

Podcast: Gals on the Go
Hosts: Brooke Miccio & Danielle Carolan
Network: PodcastOne
Episode Date: November 12, 2025
In this candid, laughter-filled episode, best friends Brooke and Danielle dive into a grab-bag of real-life topics ranging from the inconvenience and insecurities of botched cosmetic procedures to the curiosity around drinking breast milk. The conversation meanders through winter blues, gym and sleep habits, beauty rituals, relationship dynamics, and awkward etiquette—all in the style of unfiltered girl talk.
Unapologetically honest, sassy, and silly with moments of earnest vulnerability. The banter is conversational, relatable, and at times self-deprecating, with the hosts poking fun at themselves and each other in equal measure. Even when tackling insecurities and taboos (plastic surgery, breast milk), the humor brings comfort and camaraderie.
This episode is perfect for anyone who loves unfiltered, supportive best-friend dialogue about uncomfortable, odd, or awkward real-life moments. There's beauty advice, travel gripes, relationship hacks, and the refreshingly honest acknowledgment that being "on the go" often means messy, imperfect, but always funny living.
