It's amazing. The gals get a little getaway. We've been staying at the Montauk Yacht Club. We've got all the Elements products. It's such a vibe in the room. Oh my gosh. Everything. We're just having the best time. Like we needed a gals Hamptons moment. We didn't think it was happening.

And it's happening.

We didn't know. It is happening. It's. It's live. Yeah. I feel like we're on opposite travel schedules. You've been canceled, flights delays. You're hanging out. Late night at the airport.

No, I've literally made friends at the airport. Like, it's really weird. By force. By force, yeah. Yeah.

Like, you're not, like, looking for friends.

No, no, no. It's just, like, there gets a point where you're just so. You're just all so frustrated, and it's like, okay, I have to talk to someone about this kid, you know, because we're all, like, traveling solo. It's definitely a lot of, like, that vibe. But, yeah, no, I. I didn't know if I'd make it here today, and I'm so happy to be out east with my gal, my G. We're here. It's been really, really nice. We got here yesterday, and now we're obviously recording today. It's just so fun. Like, we're quite literally on a boat. Like, it's not like we have to stay true to the Gals in the Go name, because, you know, we're gals on the Go. We have to. We've recorded in pools. We've recorded on a cruise ship. So now it's time we record on a boat. A yacht. Yacht. I'm calling it a yacht.

At our workout classes this morning.

I know. Oh, my God. It was so nice, guys. We had, like, a morning together, but also, like, we did both of, like, what we wanted.

True to Danny, and true to Brook, we went to East Hampton, which was so nice. I went to New York. Pilates. You went to Soul Cycle. And then I got Golden Pear coffee. She got Jack's coffee.

But we got out of our workout classes and I was like, oh, the people in my workout, you know, they were giving like it was a lot of like, you know, Hampton's couples, but like, who's. We're here on a Tuesday, so. Yeah, keep that in mind. You know, a lot of who's out here, they go out on the weekends. But if you're here all summer, like, you, you've had, you've got a house

here, you, you've got to stay. It was funny. Brooke said that. And then I said, wait, me too. I was like, it was all women in their 60s that were so fabulous. Cartier bangles up to their elbow, like, and super fit. And super fit. Like, they were like, I, you know, I'm taking modifications. They're going all out. I'm like, okay, like, I gotta back together here.

[Brooke]

There was a lot of fit people in mind too. And Soul Cycle, they only do. I guess this is a Hamptons thing. At least at this location, when the classes aren't full, they only do the front row or the back row. I was in the middle. There were, you know, maybe a few in the middle, but like major, like the entire front row was taken in the entire back. I was like, this is.

[Danielle]

It's if you know, you know, vibes.

[Brooke]

I know, but there were so many. I mean, I just have to assume that they're moms and dads, I guess. Yeah, maybe that's an assumption, but because I wasn't really doing too much active listening. I was more so just, you know, being like, ah, their house probably looks great, you know.

[Danielle]

See, I think that's where we differ. Like, I'm definitely an eavesdropper. I've been eavesdropping a lot. Whereas you like to like, look at the phones. Like, who are we texting?

[Brooke]

And like, I extrapolate.

[Danielle]

Yes. I love to like, draw my own conclusions.

It's like, you know that 15 of the time that it happens to be that.

I got right in. There are some ladies chatting. I'm like, what are we chatting about? They're talking about, like, fishing tournaments. I was like, oh, that's so interesting. In Montauk for a fishing tourney.

What does that entail?

I don't know. But she kept saying the word trifecta. And tuna, which we know I tried in Japan. Wait, can we talk about that?

Tuna gate.

[Danielle]

Tuna gate. All of Brooke's friends were like, danielle actually had tuna for the first time I've had.

[Brooke]

I've almost like, you know, we talk about a lot of things on the podcast. We have clips and like, friends. I feel like we'll reference certain things or be like, oh, that was so funny. Yeah, this happened. Or you guys had that bit and, you know, that's so you. Whatever. I've had so many people separately in my life. I think actually my parents did something too. So many people separately say something about Danielle and Katie's consumption of tuna. Because you guys made this video. Was it. It was in feeders, actually.

Katie made a tick Tock about it. I just posted a little story.

[Brooke]

Okay. Well, something was said along the lines, like, from Japan. And I obviously, you know, I know Danielle, she, you know, anytime she's not with me, she's willing to try it.

That's when I get adventurous with my eating.

[Brooke]

Yes, of course. Yeah. No, but you tried tuna, which is not. I wouldn't say that. That's really crazy. Like, I feel that that's a pretty basic fish, if we're talking fish. But I know you don't eat fish.

However, so many people in my life, they were like, is that really Danielle's first time having tuna? Like three separate people. It was like my brother. I had like a friend say something. I feel like, why would I. Like just what they're like. Really, Daniel? Really? Their first time having tuna, huh?

Like, you're like, I'm here to tell you.

I was like, I can confirm.

Yeah. The rumors, because I've never seen it myself.

Yeah. I haven't seen it with my own.

But anyways, we were back to the pool. We were. You were. Brooke is like seeing this. These two people talk.

And then I. I look. New fixation. Unlocked. Looking at the ring finger.

See, I'm not there yet. I don't think to look at the rings at the fingers.

Yeah, this is. This is a new thing that I. I never used to look at this before. People would say it, they'd be like, and he was married. Like, because they would say, oh, look,

I've literally never paid attention to that.

My entire life up until pretty much this moment, like one month ago. Whatever. I think it's just because now I. I have something on this finger.

Yeah. Not that I'm particularly looking sometimes, like, I'll meet like a woman like around our age and I'm like, oh, like you are Engaged too. Like, I. And I. Yeah, I just am like, oh, okay. But they're not saying, like, you don't have to be like, I'm engaged, by the way. Like, you don't have to be a big announcement.

True. It's like she's wearing the announcement.

But I just think it has to be a big deal. Like, I. I'm in that phase of it.

Of course. No, I mean, they were talking, but I was like, Brooke and I are trying to, like, do hand signals to each other because, like, I'm in the pool when she's.

Under the umbrella. She likes her shade. And I was.

See that? I. I saw that the original woman had left and then I was like, I feel like he didn't even ask for a number. But then I. Not that they were like, could have

been a slam dunk, if I do say so myself.

I wouldn't say that like, they were flirting, but like, they had a share. Like, a lot of connections. And he wasn't wearing a ring. But do maybe a lot of men, like, don't wear their ring? I feel like growing up, I mean, my parents are the most in love. You guys know this, but I feel like sometimes my dad, like, dayto day. But my dad's, like, working outside, to be fair.

I got a little distracted. I was like, is there a shark in the water? I hear people probably can't even hear this. There's some kids on the beach. It's very wholesome.

up paddle boarders, I'm just like, oh, there's Ben. Like, I just know Ben loves paddleboard.

It's really good core workout.

Apparently it's incredible. Yeah, it's very hard. And balance. You have to balance.

For those people, I'm sure it's fun. Well, we have so much catching up to do because we. I mean, this trip came at perfect time because we hadn't seen each other in, like, maybe a little over a week. I can't remember. So there was, like, so much to chat about. And, like, how are you? How.

I'm good. I just came back from a friend's bachelorette. I'm like the. The CEO of Bachelorettes at this point. I think I just. I can't say no to them, you know? They're so fun.

They're so fun. Like, they're such a fun girls trip. Are you kidding me? I've been on one. I'm so jealous.

You. You're. You know, when you're my age, right?

You're much, much older.

When you're much older, you'll start going on more. No, they're so fun. The best position to be in. I've said it before. Is invited to the bachelorette, not in the wedding. All fun, no work. It's awesome. I've learned. I've learned a Friday to Sunday Bachelorette is my sweet spot. Three nights.

Yeah, I actually had some work stuff on Thursday, so I couldn't go that day anyways. But, like, Friday, I did a Friday to Sunday. And it was good.

Hair up or down is like a thing. But I feel like yes, because I think of my mom's generation and they they definitely had something called a banana clip. I think it still exists. But I remember when I got these clips, my dad was like, it reminds me, like Athena when he had a banana clip. And I was like, what is that? It was like some sort of, like, you had to, you know, definitely style. It wasn't as.

You have to go in and out. Yeah.

But I. I think they'll always be there. You know, they'll just come in and

out, but you know what I mean? Like, the styles have changed. I mean, I definitely still wear my hair up in full with the claw clip, but I know what you mean.

The bump, it's not. Yeah. We're gonna look back and be like, what were we doing? It's similar to. In middle school. I did that bump style with a clip.

Yeah. This morning at our workout. Someone has to change someone else. I actually didn't even notice you on until we got in the car.

I had time. I. I just knew my hair was already kind of done, so I was like, let's see. And oh, my God, I think I'm gonna get back on Facebook. Not, like, posting necessarily, but. Oh, there are just people in my life that do not post on Instagram that are posting on Facebook. Like, I see photo of my Aunt Debbie at the beach with her friends. I'm like, oh, I didn't know she was at the beat, you know, like, just like, I don't know. And like, some people from college that I don't even think I follow them, maybe on Instagram, but I have friends with. Oh, it's so entertaining. Do you ever pop up?

Some of. Like, recently, some of my friends brought up, like, some of the Facebook groups that they're in, like, and that they see content of, and I just am like, wow, these are. They're still a bad place. Like, they still are places that I feel like I wouldn't want to be.

Like, they were like, drama that's been happening.

I think it was, like, two trips ago. Like, they were like, look at what I found in this Facebook group. And it was just like, local drama or something. And I'm just like, it's. Do you see? Like, this is why I don't go on Facebook, you know?

Yeah, this. This is why. Yeah, no, no, not on Facebook groups. Those can get scary. It's unfortunate because I'm sure there are some really helpful ones and Facebook Marketplace.

Well, I wanted to talk to you about your canceled flight and like the lore behind that and everything because I feel like we didn't really address it and you really didn't complain much, which I'm really proud of you for doing because I feel like you took it like a trooper. You're just like, nope, look, my flight's canceled. It sucks. I'm here.

I know. And I feel like we've probably talked about in the podcast when it's annoying when influencers like post like at airlines

like American Air, get your act together.

But I was close because I was just really. I didn't. Because I was like, no, I don't like when other people do this. But I was just so fresh, frustrated and like, I'm not gonna lie. So far, our airline, Delta, and I think it's specifically for the Midwest. I just don't think Delta in the Midwest, like, I don't know, they just don't have planes or something. It was just. I. I mean, you guys, in this last week I had three flights canceled. One of them was United. I will say and love Delta forever. And they will forever be my home airlines, like without a doubt. But I just think they might not have enough planes for. Because it was like, oh, we don't have a plane. I'm like, well, what they tell you

that they don't know.

Cuz I. Because then I'm calling the Delta Diamond Medallion. I'm like, so what's going on here. And I was also so excited. I was going to be going to the Megan Ro. I literally missed the Megan Rooney concert, which. Oh, boohoo. But, like, I was really excited to go and I missed it. And so. Yeah. But yeah, no, I. I did take it like a champ. The I was going to my family reunion. My flight got canceled for that morning.

Going there or going. Oh, I didn't realize on the way there too.

Going there. So then I quickly found a flight, a different flight and got on, and I was a little bit later than I wanted. And then my. On my way to the airport on Thursday, leaving my family reunion, my flight got canceled. So then I booked another flight, and then I'm at the airport. It kept getting delayed, delayed, and then it was canceled. And then I had to spend the night in Indiana.

[Brooke]

And how did you decide what hotel to stand in India?

[Danielle]

Oh, it was that it was one of those flights where it's just a ton of businessmen who clearly have that. Which you do. And it made me want to create account Marriott Bonvoy. Like, so they were just immediately booked in all these rooms, whatever. And I'm calling the mayor. Every hotel, boom. We're booked because multiple flights were getting canceled. There was no rain by the away. Like, I don't know what was going on. Oh, damn. So then I'm, you know, I don't want to talk about where you stayed. You don't? I wasn't thrilled. I wouldn't go back, but it was a bed, and I'm grateful that I was able to quickly go. You know, it's fine.

No, of. I feel like you didn't really romanticize Indianapolis. That's why I was like, you know.

[Danielle]

No, I know. Brooks texted me Indie day. I. I go to Indie a lot because that's where we fly in and out of for family union. But then, like, I've been to football games there. I went to eras there. Like, I've done indie. I'm good.

Like, you've seen it. Everything you need to see there.

Yeah. Like, some people were really nice and sent me coffee shops. But then I was like, like, my, you know, my mom's texting me. It's a sign. You just need to rest and restore. So I just, like, laid in the bed and I asked for late checkout, you know.

Oh, that's funny. My mom would be like, yeah, this is so stupid. Like, yeah, she'd be like, right there with me. Her flight, her Delta flight got canceled this week too.

Where was she coming from?

Florida.

Oh, yeah. I think it's also summer. Like, summer storms, maybe.

But to be fair, like, I don't want to be traveling when there's lightning and stuff. Like. And I feel like we've been getting these random, like, night downpours. Yeah, right. Like, out of nowhere, like, there's, like, 30 minutes of, like, intense wind, storm, downpour, lightning. And then you, like, go outside and you're like, okay, every tree fell down. Like, what happened here?

I agree. No, I mean, that's. That's why I think maybe my mindset shifted. Like, people would. I mean, we got on the plane, and then we had to d. Plane, and everyone was so upset, and I was like, guys, like, what if it's a mechanic issue? Like, aren't we happy that they're saying

that you had guys?

[Danielle]

No. Finally, the guy next to me. I mean, bring back connection, because I feel like if you're traveling alone, you're around a ton of people traveling alone. No one actually talks to each other. It's like, everyone's pissed. The flights delay, but no one's talking to each other. So the guy next to me is just. I'm like. I'm, like, worried he's missing, like, a wedding. Like, he was so upset, and so I said to him, I was like, I'm so sorry. Like, is everything okay? And he was like, oh, no. It's just, like, annoying. I was like, oh, well. I was like, well, I'm glad that, you know, I'd rather be safe than sorry. And he's like, what'd you have? And I said, I had a concert tonight that I'm missing. And he was like, wow, okay. Yeah, I don't have it so bad. I was like, yeah. Like, he didn't even have plans. He was just, like, annoyed, which is so valid. Like, but I was just like, it could. Like, I'd rather be safe. Like, maybe it's raining in New York, and, like, I just. Let's be safe on the ground.

Like, there's a reason it's canceled. I mean, sometimes it's like, the pilot timed out, and that sucks. But then you don't want a tired pilot, right?

Like how do you even know? So then I started thinking about logistics. You know when you start like really thinking about things and you're like, that's very you.

Thinking about like statistics of like who's organizing. Like this pilot, but then he's timed out and then the flight attendants who, who making the schedule. I know that there's like softwares and so forth, but it's so above my head that actually like so stresses me out to think about.

Yes. And like even this is actually a good question for the flight attendants and everybody who works in that, you know, category. They book your hotels for you. Right? Like for them, like if you're a, if you're a flight attendant. Yeah. Like you're not like being like, okay, I'll book and reimburse like so then they have to book all of your stuff too.

That's a great question. I've been assuming because I feel like they all roll into the same hotel.

I know. Because then they have a shuttle and then that yeah. Brings them all together, which like totally makes sense.

Yeah, that's a good question. They just must be so used to flying and having hotel rooms. Just like living out of a suitcase, obviously. But then they get to go to so many different places, which is so fun.

It is so fun. I, I feel like it would be simultaneously like my like an amazing job and also like my worst nightmare because like I love to be home. But at the same time travel is so fun and I feel like like every day is exciting cuz like you get to see exciting people meet. You probably get to meet the coolest people. I would Imagine if you're working in that way.

I didn't even pop out the extender when I was coming back from Illinois. I had my little base suitcase, my carry on, no extender, and the man is putting my bag in the thing, and he was like, damn. Well, it's like, I. Literally, part of the reason I do it is because I'm just sick of the comments like, oh, quick trip and big suitcase, you know? And like, I still. So I just. I can't win with the luggage.

Like, can I say the difference of something that I experienced on, like, now, I don't know if this has to do with. But it was my flight to Georgia and my flight home from Georgia. Okay, flight to Georgia. We land. I'm traveling with my friend Alicia, and she was. She was like, hey, I got to get my suitcase a few rows back. Yeah, there's a nice gentleman next to me. He was like, which one is it? I'll grab it for you. Yeah, like, he fully grabs it. He takes it down for her. Like, really nice. He had to, like, go back to get it.

That's really, really nice. I love. It's always appreciated, like, if you're a man or a woman, whatever.

Nice way home. There's a guy, like, in the row in front of me, and he turns to a woman about two rows behind me and goes, can you. Can you hand me my bag? And made the. This older woman.

Oh, my God.

Pass in the bag. I was like, I can't even. I'm sorry. Have you heard?

[Danielle]

You should have stood up and, like.

[Brooke]

And. And by the way.

No, that's crazy.

I do that all the time. Literally all of the time.

No, I was shocked, and she was, like, kind of struggling to. I was like, I don't like watching this right now. Like, this is not fair. It's not. No, I can't look.

Yeah, no, that always makes me really upset. I actually got feedback from my mom. She likes. Loves when we talk about travel things. So she is probably thriving in this moment.

I. I love a bag gate check situation. Like, you know, like, because, you know, I don't want to risk it and try to stop, you know, But I

It was right away the pink tag one.

Yes. But there was some confusion if it was at the end. End of the jet bridge or if it was on, you know, the.

So we were all standing there, and then there was like, we're all waiting. And then they were like, guys, they're in the blah Blah, blah. And like, everybody collectively was like, like, whatever. We all go up and get them and they open the thing and we're all like, in order. And there was like a young girl in front of me, and she. She had to get like. You know, it was lines. There was like two lines. Everybody, like, grabbing their bag and she goes. And she's just pulling at her bag.

[Danielle]

But it is as other bags are in front of it.

[Brooke]

No bags in front of it. But it was like she was pulling it vertical, but it needed to be flipped horizontal in order to come out, out, like, because there was like, like little like, lips on the shelf. You know, she's pulling it and she's just doing the same motion, pulling, pulling, pulling. And I literally, at this point, I was. Was, you know, I was on a 6am flight, cuz, you know, me and I go, I got it. And I literally push past her, flip it in one motion, like, take it down. And she like, was she like, how'd you do that? Yeah, no, I. And then all my friends were like, dying, laughing. But I was like, honestly, I.

[Danielle]

You were on a mission.

[Brooke]

She needed to get hers in order to, like, free up the line.

[Danielle]

If you just keep trying the same thing, that is not gonna work.

[Brooke]

And then we get off and we go all the way. This is like, so minimal. People are probably gonna be like, I don't.

[Danielle]

What did you say? Am I boring people to tears?

[Brooke]

I might be boring you to tears.

[Danielle]

No, but she's let me get off.

[Brooke]

And then I, you know, I hear them talking. And then she was like, my suitcase has scratches on it now or something. It was brand new. I'm like, babe. But I don't. I'm not gonna take the blame for that. I'm not gonna take the blame for that. I'm sorry that you gate. Oh.

The scratches were when she was repeatedly

doing the same motion.

[Danielle]

A one, one swoop motions was gonna get this.

She was like, my new bag of scratches on.

I know. I literally heard her say it. And I was like, I have to keep walking. I have to keep. It's a child. I have to keep walking.

Yeah, she was a child.

She was younger. Like, she was. It wasn't like an adult. Like, it was definitely like she was traveling, like, with her mom, but it was like, it was not like a child child. Like, you know, she's grabbing her own bag.

What's a child? That's not a child. But yeah, with her mom.

Yeah. Well, what age do you start carrying your own suitcase?

Yeah. What age are you carrying on? Honestly, I feel like my mom just handled my bags when I was young.

Like, I don't remember because I see kids with, like, their own. But if it's like a big family, you gotta, you know, handle your own bag. I think, like, if you have a bit. A lot of kids in a family,

like, it's like, at a young age, you start caring.

[Brooke]

So what do you have going on coming up? Any trip trips, travs?

[Brooke]

I'm wedding touring. I'm running. I'm, you know, trying to be as fit as possible, you know, continuing with my weight training. I really, like, I want to get past that point where I'm, like, wobbling because, like, you know, there's some weights that I lift.

[Danielle]

Yeah.

[Brooke]

And it's just like, I have noodle arms, you know, Like, I'm just. When do you get past that? Like, how many years of training does it take?

[Danielle]

I think in a month or two, you'll be feeling great. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

[Brooke]

I'm trying to stay diligent about that. I, like, what do I have? I don't have really too many travels. The next few.

[Danielle]

Yeah, I guess your. Your travels have happened. Like, your big. Your big travels. Now you're in the city. You're busy, though, in the city.

I do feel as though I have a lot of, like, you know, friends, birthdays, you know, I just have so many friends. No, I'm.

You've got lots to do. Oh, you know what was funny, you guys? So we obviously. A couple episodes ago, Brooke vulnerably shared with us her journey of the AI. Like, what's wrong with my face? And it's so funny. I was literally at dinner last night, and I said to Brooke, I was like, have you heard this new term, beauty maxing? And you're like, yes, Danielle, I literally talked about this three weeks ago, and of course, now it's registering to me. But I see where you were going with that of, like, yeah, how can you improve just, like, without makeup and stuff? Like, just your face and, like, your skin and just, like, to be your most natural. I mean, I guess people were mad.

[Brooke]

People were mad at me. They were like, this is pathetic. Like, it's so sad that she hates, like, sees herself like this. I was like, is it sad to, like, want to look good?

Like, no, it is not sad to

If that's sad, then we can go back to, like, corny and performative. Like, Then it's like, God forbid I like care what I look like.

I've actually been so diligent about speaking of like product products. Like we've been talking about it. Like my body.

My body cream ritual. I go through a lot of body cream.

The marine body. Their marine collection in general smells really good. Which, you know, I love it. You love. But it smells like clean and fresh. Not like. Oh, like fragrance. Like.

But yeah, you were like, no, I moisturize every day now.

Like your whole body, sometimes twice a day.

That's amazing. I've been better about doing my legs, but my arms. But the whole body is just.

I, I typically entertainment when I'm doing my self care rituals. I feel like that's like when I listen to something or I play. Oh my gosh. I've been watching Five Star Weekend, you know.

So good. We both read the book. Good.

And she just did such a good job with it.

I'm like halfway. I think episode four, five or something. I mean, what. Talk about a well done adaptation.

It's so good. And the N. Tucket of it all is so fun.

So fun. I, I just feel like she nailed it. Like the, the static, like just everything about him just like, oh my God. This is maybe one of the best book adaptations I've seen.

lot of times they ruin it, you know?

Yeah. A lot of people do say this, that it's ruined and did you. You thought Housemaid was good though.

I remember I did like it. No, I, I thought it was a good movie. I liked it. I. I'm. In terms of adaptation. I like. It's like, are we going by the accuracy of the book or are we going by like it was enjoyable to watch.

[Danielle]

Because I think that to be a good adaptation has to be both. Yeah, no, that's like the casting's off. It's like throws me off A little bit.

[Danielle]

No, I know. Then it's like, this is not what I pictured at all. Yeah, no, this one, a lot of, like, Gigi, the character Gigi really pictured, weirdly. And then Jennifer Garner, I think fits Hollis. Is that her name? Hollis?

[Brooke]

Yeah.

Not enough. We just had too much to talk about. Yeah. We sat by the fire pit. It was such a vibe. Chit, chit chatting about all the things we always had things to talk about. So wait, this episode comes out. I would have just gone to Georgia, which I heard.

I already talked about a little reunion trip.

[Danielle]

Little reunion trip with my pledge class. So hopefully I, I survived it and had fun. And then from there I went to Vegas for a day. Hopefully. That was.

To go see wizard of Oz, which I think you're gonna do too, eventually.

[Danielle]

And then. Oh, I guess I should do a little update on my dad quickly.

Yeah, I think so. So I say this because as this episode goes up, I believe I'm going home this weekend and Ryan's coming with me, which will be good because last time Ryan came with me, like, it was not a fun time. So I'm excited for Ryan to see my dad, but no. Okay. So my dad, I don't, I don't want to say he's 100, so much better, but I'm going home so that I could be with him for a really important appointment to see, like, if he. He's probably gonna need some sort of surgery or something. And eventually, I promise I will sit down and be like, this is what happened. But just for now. It's just. I don't know, it's just I don't like to talk about all. Because some people are like, oh, well, I had this and I got it. And I'm sure it would get some helpful things, but I just can't so anyways, we. Yeah, I'm going home, taking him to an appointment. Hopefully we'll get some sort of good news or just clarity of like, what's to come next. But. But it's just so nice, like, getting texts from him again. And like, like, he literally was like, oh, I see, it's windy. He actually did say it was windy in Montauk today. And I was like. But it was when we were by the pool and I was like, oh, I don't think it's windy. So it's just nice to like get text like that from him again. He got in the sauna with my brother yesterday. He got in the pool. I mean, these are quick, like little 15 minute moments. But like from where he was like, I'm just, I just want to say thank you guys so much for everyone who's like, prayed for my dad and for you just like, for supporting me. Like, I really, like, it was hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel for a while and I just, it's just really nice. So I'm really grateful that he's on the mend.

[Brooke]

I. I'm so happy to hear it. I know. I'm so happy to. I mean, what you can do is go by the actions and the actions prove that, you know, like, you see the, like, it in that. Right?

[Danielle]

Yeah. The medicine that he was taking has worked and good. And you know, and he's.

I mean, he's feeling better.

Yeah, it might. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It might force him into retirement. And he's trying to figure this out because, like, he, he love. He's a doctor and he loves what he does, but he's not been working for months now, so I don't know how like, that all works, but yeah, I know. I think he's like, conflicted. So there's that. But anyways, yeah, I'm excited to go see him and he says hello to you all, as always. Hi, girls.

Actually, speaking of retirement, that came up on the Bachelor at like, talked about early retirement. Yeah.

And like, some of my friends being like, yeah, like, I'm trying to like, this is a strategy thing that people do. They're like, I want to make a lot of money and retire at like 40. And I thought that, that was just like a thing that people try to sell you an online course for. Like, you know, if you do this, you can retire.

Yes.

[Brooke]

But they were like, people were legitimately saying it. Like, no, like, I want to, like,

[Danielle]

like girls on the batch.

[Brooke]

Yeah. Or they like their partners want to or something like that. And I was like, damn. I didn't realize that people do that. Like, what do you do after you, like, if you retire? 40. I mean, I know that you golf. Yeah. Yeah, I guess you golf.

Yeah, no, I know. I. I think it's hard for us to comprehend because with what we do, we like, share our life.

Yeah.

So I don't know if there'd be a time, I mean, you know, you obviously slow down or you do different things.

There's certain days I feel like I'm retired.

Oh, and by the way, way what we do is, you know, it's awesome and so fun.

There's some days that I'm like, today is kind of giving retirement.

Like, yeah, it's giving retirement. We got to be by the pool. You know, we'll do a podcast later. No, I mean, we live the life very, very great.

But I'm talking about like, true, true retirement. Thought about it like that, like, truly, like, and live off of the money that you made.

That's like so crazy because you have

to like, really, you have to decide, like, this is the number I'd be comfortable with and like, do the math of like how much money you spend in a year. And it's like, okay, like, I could handle that. Like, I have enough savings.

You have to really run the numbers there. Yeah, yeah, it's a good, I mean, it's a really cool, like, if you really. Some people, I feel like they work jobs that like, are not sustainable to be working more than like 20 years, you know, like, definitely college. It's like, okay, like your body is going to like not be able to do these crazy hours after a certain point or something. So like, I, I do. I, I can understand it, like for those sort of jobs, but I feel like then it's like I would just be like, oh, I would get a new job. But I guess if you really grind it out, then it, hey, love it. I just like, I haven't. I've yet to like meet a 40 year old that's like, hey, I'm retired, you know, or like 4 year old. But I see it online that people are like, you know, I'm, Hey, I'm 30 and this is my yacht. I'm Retired. Buy my course now.

Yeah. Yeah. We both have gotten separately. We didn't know this. We've both been watching Selby. Shelby saps content.

Yeah.

So I think that she's kind of like. I mean she just bought this huge.

She's definitely not retired. She works.

Yeah. And she like has a course. That's why I guess she does have by my course of like this. But I just. Her content so fascinating to me.

Yeah, no, I still am Operation Nikki. She made like a second account. Like I'm obsessed.

Because she's really like strategic, I feel like with growth strategy. Like she posts like similar types of videos. So she wanted to do like, I think more talking video and things like that. So she made a second account for that where she could like people that would want skincare favorites or like here's like a routine but like talked through more like longer, even longer format versus like the quick cuts.

Like more like the ASMR cleaning.
