The following podcast is a Dear Media production race Dear Literally, I did get
Danielle
hit on on my way here.
Brooke
The groom should be here.
Danielle
Updates on your foot because it seems
Brooke
like it's like the biggest insurance fraud scam of all time. Oh no, Micha, need to talk to him. That's how my brain works though. Just bear with me.
Danielle
Formative day for you.
Brooke
I just look like an idiot.
Danielle
See me leading a run club? Just know I'm getting a B.
Brooke
Okay, whatever. Hold me back. Never a good place to start. Hey guys, what's up? Welcome back to Gals on the Go podcast.
Danielle
It's Brooke and Danielle. Hope you're all having a fantastic, fabulous Wednesday or whatever day of the week you're listening to this on.
Brooke
I. I always listen to podcasts when they come out because you know, I like to be current.
Danielle
Yeah, we here like to hear and track. You know with our podcast I get excited.
Brooke
Like I have like my days. Yeah, like I'm like Wednesday, great day. Honestly not I'm biased cuz we're on this day. But there's like a lot, a lot
Danielle
of people come out with podcasts on Wednesdays. I have a few on Mondays or at least one. Let's get dressed. I listen.
Brooke
Yeah, you stand.
Danielle
That I stand.
Brooke
Yeah, you stand.
Danielle
Yeah, it's like the one Fashion podcast. I'm like, yes.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
But it's just fun to have your days. Like, you said.
Brooke
Hey, a little something.
Danielle
Kind of like days of the week underwear, you know, but different.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke
I never really got into those because
Danielle
I feel like you did.
Brooke
No, because, like, you have to be on the right wash schedule with them then.
Danielle
And maybe that was me being a young Virgo. Oh, yeah. You're like, organization underwear.
Brooke
Yeah. But then what would happen if you were the Tuesday underwear on, like, Friday? You would never do that. I would never. Okay.
Danielle
I would have never. I don't know what I would do now. Now. I wouldn't care. Back then, that was a big deal to me.
Brooke
I understand.
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke
That's important.
Danielle
How are you?
Brooke
I. I'm great. You know, I've just been running around, doing all my appointments.
Danielle
Honestly, for, like, life, for beauty, for
Brooke
wedding, for everything, really. I mean, honestly, I just came here because I. I just. I just came here to record.
Danielle
Obviously, you're all.
Brooke
We're all gathered here today. Thank you for coming. No, I just raced here. Literally. I'm, like, taking the subway. I'm, like, running street. Whenever I'm, like, on the go in the city. I'm like, this would be such a good, like, cut scene in a movie. Do you think about that? Like, I'm like, if, like, the angle's on me and I'm, like, running in my long skirt. Like, I'm like, this would be really cool shot right now.
Danielle
Really great cut scene.
Brooke
Yeah. Or I just look like an idiot. I mean, I definitely look like an idiot. But if cut properly.
Danielle
If cut properly. Like, optional to look really cool.
Brooke
Nice. Like, music in the background.
Danielle
I see it suddenly.
Brooke
I see Lee. I see.
Danielle
Oh, my gosh, we've got Andy Sachs over here making it to her podcast. Just a girl in New York making it.
Brooke
Running. Trying to make it in the big city. Yeah.
Danielle
Trying to make it in the big city. Coming from Brooklyn, literally. Where were you?
Brooke
We were at the courthouse trying to get our domestic partnership license. Is that what we wore all white? Well, we did wear all white. I have something else after this, which I'll get into. And I was just like, okay, well, now I'm just, like, wearing all white.
Danielle
You know what I mean?
Brooke
But, yeah, but I was. You have to go through, like, security to go through into a courthouse, which, like, honestly, does make me feel more secure, because, I don't know, it's like a big, like, federal building. I forget it's legit, the dmv. Like, you know, you think that it's like gonna be. It's not in the same building as the dmv, but like, you think it's gonna be like, it's in like an old courth.
Danielle
You know, you're like, oh, I'm going
Brooke
to the nice old courthouse. And the security guy, he was like, congratulations. Because I think he thought that I was getting like, my marriage license.
Danielle
I'm sure he did.
Brooke
Yeah. No, and a few other people in the waiting room said that too, because they are also dressed. Some people bring like a crew because they're like getting married and like, you know, they bring their people.
Danielle
Were they like in white dresses and stuff?
Brooke
A lot of the ladies were in white dresses, but Ben was a blue lemon shorts. So I was like, it's like offensive.
Danielle
Like, yeah.
Brooke
You would show up like this, like for our wedding day.
Danielle
My groom looking like that.
Brooke
He wasn't like. But it was like all gray.
Danielle
Kind of like it was giving.
Brooke
Yeah, I know. And a guy went up to him specifically, was like, congratulations.
Danielle
Like, yeah, yeah.
Brooke
But no, we waited there for 30 minutes and it's just a long line. I have to go back another time, essentially. So sorry.
Danielle
You're so dedicated to the gals, you're like, no, I got to record.
Brooke
Well, you know, it should be just like a paperwork appointment.
Danielle
No, it's so silly.
Brooke
What even is domestic partner. People are probably like, what is this like? Cuz it seems like it's like the biggest insurance fraud scam of all time. But it's like literally the legal. I don't even want to call it a loophole because it's just. It's the completely legal thing that just sort of like happened. And I don't think it's everywhere, but I know it's in New York State. I. New York City.
Danielle
Heard of it till moving here.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
Like, everyone does it here.
Brooke
Everyone does it. Yeah. Because I think basically before gay marriage was legal, like, this was like the partnership situation that, like, people did, which was so crazy that like, that was.
Danielle
You had to.
Brooke
Then you had to do that. You kind of just like get married.
Danielle
But happy pride month.
Brooke
Yes, Happy pride. Yes. But they were like, you can be domestic partners, but you can't be married. Like, what the. Okay, whatever. But then they just kept it around, and then people of all types started using this.
Danielle
Right.
Brooke
Basically it gets you, but it, like, isn't marriage. It really only gets you because I looked into it. I was like, should we just get legally married if we're gonna do all this paperwork? Like, I had the Thought like I was like, I mean if we're going to the courthouse and doing all the paperwork, like, not that I wanted to do that per se, but I'm like, it would save me a trip I guess. Like, you know, meanwhile it's.
Danielle
It takes a while.
Brooke
Yeah, yeah. But domestic partner versus marriage. Domestic partner literally only gets you rights to. You have to live with someone. You have to like prove that you live together. You don't really need much proof though. It's not like they're asking you like, you know in like the movies when they ask you the question.
Danielle
Separate rooms.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
What does she eat for breakfast?
Brooke
Yeah, no, no, I'm pretty sure you literally just fill out like a form. Like we filled out most of it online and we just have to like sign in person.
Danielle
Oh my God.
Brooke
Like, and maybe like say, like say something. I don't really know. It's not. There's no. Yeah, yeah. But it literally only gets you rights to be on the same insurance. So like what partner A could be on partner B's or vice versa.
Danielle
That's so nice. Self employed girls.
Brooke
Yeah, it is really nice. I always kind of like, you know, when we started dating I was like, oh, if we like you know, end up together, like it would be nice like to get some health insurance. Being creative. You know, I do pay for it out of pocket but like it'll be nice to be on something. Like it's still, you still have to pay for it obviously.
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke
Hopefully some good coverage that you know, isn't an arm and a leg. And that's literally it though. Like I was like, what else? What? What? It's like city employees get a few more things like whatever. But it's not. I was like, okay, but like, you know, does he have like rights to like my, you know, like are we talking about bank account? Yeah, like will making and stuff like that. But no, no, it's literally nothing. Like, like the only thing is insurance, which is kind of crazy because it's literally illegal. It is a legal local. It's completely legal. They actually like so many people do this. This is such a common experience in your 20s.
Danielle
Good tip. Some people should look into if it's available in your state or city.
Brooke
A lot of my friends are like doing it now. I don't know why suddenly we all Woke up at 20. Cuz like 29, I'm running. I'm like, I got to make it. I'm not going to make my appointment.
Danielle
I literally can fix it.
Brooke
So.
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke
Congratulations.
Danielle
Congrats.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
Yeah, you were all white to domestic. So. So now you gotta wait.
Brooke
I'm gonna go back on Monday. I was like, you know what? I keep. I always forget that, like, if you have the ability to like, which I like, do have the flexibility of time, like to do the first appointment of the day because then they don't get backed up.
Danielle
Totally. That's why I take the first flight of the day.
Brooke
Yeah, I know.
Danielle
Yeah. Not that I always do it, but.
Brooke
I know, but it is. You got stuck the other day.
Danielle
I got stuck because I did the freaking later flight.
Brooke
You wanted more time. I know. Sometimes that is a gamble for sure. Like taking the Gambi.
Danielle
It's a Gambie.
Brooke
What about you? Where are you running from in this little darling grass? Are you running from anywhere? You're very comical. Collected over here.
Danielle
Yeah, thank you. I did get hit on on my way here. Yeah? Yeah.
Brooke
Like, shouted at, like, like whistled like
Danielle
a proper, like, man came up to me. He. I was walking. I kind of like in the, you know.
Brooke
Yes. When you, like, take. You're listening to that song in your headphones and you take it out.
Danielle
Sorry, what? I was literally watching my own TikTok back because I wanted to, like, you know, someone comment something. You're like, oh, let me watch it in the. Yeah, the commenter, you know. So then I went back to watch. I'm watching my own video, and I just. This man is like in my space. And I'm like, what? And I just kept walking. I didn't realize he was trying to talk to me. Those noise canceling AirPods, they really do something.
Brooke
Oh, that's so funny.
Danielle
And I was like, oh, sorry. What? Oh, oh. And he goes, oh, sorry, are you listening to music? And I was like, yeah, watching my own.
Brooke
Yeah, yeah.
Danielle
And he goes, oh, I just want to say I really like your dress. I was like, oh, thank you so much. And then he kept walking and then he stopped and I said, yes. And he goes, are you single by any chance? I was like, no. And I always feel like when I say no, they think I'm like, lying.
Brooke
But you're like, no, I promise. Like, here he is. No, I literally.
Danielle
So then I kept going. I was like, I live with my boyfriend in my apartment. I'm like, why am I showing him where my apartment is?
Brooke
Oh, no, it was like, close to home.
Danielle
Yeah. I was like, oh, it's right there.
Brooke
Was he. Was it like a compliment?
Danielle
It was a compliment. I was complimented by this, like, I was flattered that he did that.
Brooke
That's what I mean. Yeah. No. Cause sometimes it's like. Like, the characters usually, that hit on me, it's like. I know there's, like, memes about it. Like, I feel like it's like, literally, the guys who hit on me, and it's like, no, they're usually like, I'm not trying to be ages, but, you know, they're like, either, like, 95 or they're like. You know what I mean?
Danielle
Maybe they can't see.
Brooke
Yeah. Or like, something's a little off. Like, Mike.
Danielle
No.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
Usually something's a little off. And he wasn't my type by any means, but, like, it was. I was like, he was just a normal guy walking down the street.
Brooke
Wow.
Danielle
And I was like, no, I'm not.
Brooke
It's a good ego boost.
Danielle
It's such a good ego boost. I wanted to, like, text Ryan and be like, someone, but I was like, no, I wouldn't want him to tell me that. So.
Brooke
Yeah. Then you're like, what's her fucking name? Yeah. What streets were you on? Like, I'm sending out my security now to do a quick testing.
Danielle
A quick Instagram story that's like.
Brooke
I think you can mention it in passing if it comes up. Like a dinner or something. You know, I feel like it's not.
Danielle
Not told me before.
Brooke
Of course. No, and it is a compliment. I mean, it's good on both.
Danielle
Like, good. I'm glad you're good.
Brooke
I know. I would kind of be worried if it wasn't. I.
Danielle
Yes. I. I do hope that girls find you attractive, actually.
Brooke
Or, like, if you're asked if you're single, like, at least. You know what I mean? Like, I'm like, that you're decent. Yeah. You're confirmed decent.
Danielle
Firm decent. That's all.
Brooke
Yeah. Yeah. Oh, that's really great.
Danielle
No, I just came from my apartment
Brooke
in this dress, though.
Danielle
Like, in this dress. I. Well, I was just thinking how I was wearing my little raincoat for your bridal. Yeah. Like, I'm going to step it up today.
Brooke
Well, so. You look great. Oh, we stepped it up last week.
Danielle
Yeah. Well. Yes. Yes. Oh, my gosh. If you guys didn't see, we got to. We never even talked about the fact that we literally had the Larry o' Brien trophy in our apartment. In our.
Brooke
In our shared apartment.
Danielle
Our apartment. And in our, like, studio with us.
Brooke
Like, it was so crazy.
Danielle
It was so cool. The NBA just, like, let us hang out with the Larry o' Brien trophy for a second, which was so cool and so underrated. Like the fact that we just got to do that.
Brooke
I didn't want to touch it because I get nervous.
Danielle
Yeah, I know.
Brooke
Yeah, but you did.
Danielle
That photo you got of me was really nice.
Brooke
You had to handle with gloves.
Danielle
Yes, with white gloves. Felt like Michael Jackson. Oh, so the movie. You did amazing.
Brooke
Oh, my gosh. So good, right?
Danielle
Oh, my God.
Brooke
Didn't just make you want to dance.
Danielle
Oh, my God. I was in my seat.
Brooke
Like, hold me back. Actually, that's the soundtrack I'm not listening to. Suddenly I see him like, yeah, get my love. Yeah. That's literally what I'm listening to. Or I'm. What's the. There was like one that I didn't know is like something about, like, working. It was like working pork. Like, like the scenes when he's like, you know, doing all the tours and stuff.
Danielle
And you're like, those scenes. No, those scenes are always so good in movies. Like on the come up, the paparazzi love a movie trope.
Brooke
Like, oh, so good.
Danielle
Those.
Brooke
Those were good scenes.
Danielle
Those were really good. Yeah. The whole movie was done so well. Like, I know entertained. Like, I could have watched two more hours of it.
Brooke
No. And I've been on, like, it makes you go on a Michael Jackson cake and you're just like, everyone's a bop. Like, honestly, like, there's just so many, like, hits, bangers after.
Danielle
And I know what you were saying now of like, how he would go to in like the lab, basically let him see Mama's up. Like, how.
Brooke
Yes. People were like, just let him cook.
Danielle
Like, yeah, he's got this. Just give it a sec. It was crazy.
Brooke
Ben told me he can't. He never learned to read music, so he literally just did that.
Danielle
Wow.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
Things he did that.
Brooke
That's like. That to me is talent. Like, if your brain just like worked. We said it like, you know, he could just get in the studio and they were just like, let Michael create
Danielle
like, liter know and the producer like, I just love like, the scenes. The movie was like, no, just let him keep going. Like, yeah.
Brooke
And then the dad's like, no, no, Michael, I need to talk to him. Yeah, let me give him. And they're like, please let Michael do his thing.
Danielle
Yeah. Such a good.
Brooke
So good.
Danielle
So.
Brooke
And Miles Teller, were you shook when he came out? I was like,
Danielle
he had a wig on. That's for sure.
Brooke
Yeah, he's in everything. But he plays character so well.
Danielle
He does. He really. Like, for a second, I had to say to Ryan, that is Miles Teller, right? Like, who is who he can be
Brooke
anybody, like, who does Milestone want to be today? Really?
Danielle
I love that feeling. When I feel my hair and I'm like, oh, it's. It's growing. It feels healthier. Like, when your ponytail is just like
Brooke
a little fuller and your hair's looking great. I have to say thank you, seriously, so much.
Danielle
YouTube always, though. Like, I've been on my hair journey. I took my extensions out, but that's because I have neutrophil, you guys. I have neutrophil to rely on. It's just so nice to have that support for hair health from within. Like, it actually helps you grow, grow stronger, visibly thicker hair. So it just feels amazing.
Brooke
Nutrafol is the number one dermatologist recommended hair growth supplement brand. And it's the number one hair growth supplement brand personally used by dermatologists. And I trust a dermatologist.
Danielle
Yes. You're like, okay. They sign off on it. Perfect. Nutriful's hair growth supplements are peer reviewed. They're NSF certified for sport and clinically tested.
Brooke
It's so easy to add it to your daily routine. There's, there's a few pills and you got to be patient with it. Like, that's the thing. Like, it's going to take. It's not overnight results, I feel.
Danielle
Yes.
Brooke
No, you're locked in. Like how?
Danielle
Like, you know, like six months. Yeah.
Brooke
Like, it's worth it. It's worth it. You order online. You don't need a prescription. You can sign up for automated deliveries and free shipping to keep you on track.
Danielle
Yeah, I really like that. Like, it's so nice. You don't have to worry about, oh, I got to order it.
Brooke
I'm out.
Danielle
And then there's, like, inconsistency.
Brooke
No, no, you got to be consistent.
Danielle
It's just delivered to your door. You're like, oh, next month is here.
Brooke
And it's just part of your routine now. Nutrafol, part of you.
Danielle
Yes. And it's something that, you know, oh, I'm going to be so happy. Like, my ponytail is going to feel fuller.
Brooke
I'm, I'm looking like a year out. Like, I'm like, okay, I can visualize.
Danielle

Summer. Summer. Oh, it seriously feels like school's out. Like, I'm living my best life. It's summer. I feel like the days start, you know, kind of blending one into the other, but at the same time, like, I don't want to waste the summer. Like, you know, I. No, no. I want to, like, live each day to the fullest. But that doesn't mean that I'm not taking care of myself.
Danielle
Like, we're so easy to get caught up.
Brooke
We're still prioritizing us because. Yeah, that's important.
Danielle
Yeah. Because even though there's like so much fun happening in the summer, I feel like it's really important to like, sit down and like, take a moment for therapy.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
If you can.
Brooke
I mean, you need to build in time for yourself first.
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke

Brooke
Sweaters to the back.
Danielle
Yeah, sweaters. I should put them in my storage unit.
Brooke
Oh, they really. To the back.
Danielle
Yeah. Hopefully there's no more cold days because they. I slowly took out my jackets and then my sweaters and I'm like, now I don't even have my thick sweaters. Summer always makes you rethink like what you're reaching for every Day we're going for more like lighter fabrics, you know, those better materials pieces that you just like feel good the moment you put them on.
Brooke
Yeah. And I think we both always, year over year, go back to quints because they've got those high quality essentials. I love quince linen.
Danielle
Oh, so good. So does peaceful Michelle.
Brooke
Yeah, she's so Quinton quints coated. I love that quince has beautiful everyday pieces, like 100% European linen pants, dresses and tops. We're obsessed with style starting at $32. Like the prices are. The prices are right.
Danielle
I'll say that the prices are right. Like they generally have so many things for guys too. Like Ryan and I were buying a couple things for our Japan trip because you told us, you know, you need to have that like capsule wardrobe vibe. And quince really has everything because we're going in June so it's going to be warm. They also have denim and it's soft and easy to wear. Their organic cotton sweaters are perfect for layering on like cool summer nights. Like a light shoulder.
Brooke
Yes.
Danielle
Yeah, I did keep out my quince like cashmere sweater because that's over the shoulders.
Brooke
It's like a whole thing.
Danielle
Of course it's a whole thing.
Brooke
Everything at quints is priced 50 to 80% less than similar brands because they work directly with ethical factories and they cut out the middleman. So you're paying for the quality but not like the brand markup and the marketing and what like no bs?
Danielle
No bs. And they seriously have everything for like home kitchen, bedding and beyond. Like a little bit of everything. So elevate your summer wardrobe. Go to quints.com gals for free shipping on your order and 365 day returns. Now available in Canada too. That's Q-U-I-N-C-E.com gals for free shipping and 365 day returns. Quince.com gals I feel like our age, a lot of our friends are like playing around with new cities or they have someone that is an athletic field and they need to move around a lot or whatever it may be. And it's like so exhausting to have to keep buying furniture for all these new, new places in case that you're not going to stay there forever.
Brooke
It's literally a furniture problem. Like yes. Or you like a furniture, then you have to get rid of it. Like no, no. Buying furniture is expensive. The delivery is taking forever and assembling it is like a whole nother nightmare. And truly buying furniture sounds simple until it's not. Like if, especially if, you know, like, I'm only here for a year, like, it's hard to justify.
Danielle
Yeah. And I feel like it's truly moving season right now. Like, people are getting new jobs, they're moving to new cities. And it's, it's really annoying too. When you buy like that fast furniture, sometimes it falls off apart after one move. It's not sustainable, it's not durable. Like, it's not even gonna work if you're trying to bring it around to different cities.
Brooke
But I feel like your home is so important. Like, you want it to feel like a safe space, something that you love. And that's why Court Furniture Rental gets it. Because they're helping people furnish homes, apartments, temporary spaces without the stress, the waste, or that big upfront cost.
Danielle
It's really nice because there's no ownership headaches, you guys, no buyer's remorse. Oh my gosh, I've had that so many times after buying furniture. It's just furniture rental that works for this chapter of your life. Like, maybe you're in this in a different kind of era, different style. Like you could just rent that piece of art. It's genuinely genius.
Brooke
Yeah. So you pick a curated move in ready package or create your own custom package. You pick your delivery date and court delivers everything and sets everything up. So when you walk in, your place is already done. Like a dream. Honestly.
Danielle
Yes. Like, your place looks great the day you move in. You have no assembly trauma, no furniture waste, all the packages everywhere. Like it's genuine. Like, you should enjoy moving day again, especially if you're moving around a lot. So rent today at Court.com podcast. That's C-O-R-T.com podcast. To our single gal pals out there, what if we told you there was a way to date without all of the guessing games, the back and forth and wasting time with the connection? That's just not it.
Brooke
A dating app we're getting straight to the point is literally in the name. We want to introduce you to the Highly dating app.
Danielle
The name highly means, hey, I like you. It's an app all about finding real, genuine connections.
Brooke
The highly dating app removes the guessing games with its unique features like the X and clicks that uses science backed questions to vibe check your matches. Like you got to do the vibe check before you decide you want to like them. There's also a major crush feature, so you get to make the first move before you match. Like, it just isn't dating app that makes sense.
Danielle
Think of it as a way to test out a connection without being kind of like, overly intrusive. They can read your message, they can check out our profile and then decide to accept or decline the chat. The Highly dating app gives you a much, much, much, much higher chance of not only finding a match, but finding one that's real with a fresh, new curated set of profiles each day. Like, that's awesome.
Brooke
And there is a reason the highly dating app is a top five dating app in the App Store and it was the list of the best dating apps by Glamour. So, I mean, it. It's there. Like, people are on it. It's happening.
Danielle
It's. I. I really like the name. I mean, look, it's time for you to find that genuine connection and. And the highly dating app is where it's at.
Brooke
Download Highly Dating App from the App Store or Google play or visit highly.com. this is H I L Y dot com. Date as you are with Highly Dating app.
Danielle
Date as you are with the Highly dating app. No, it was really amazing. And that. So he was his manager, right?
Brooke
Like, yeah, but Michael chose him. He said, I want him.
Danielle
But I thought that was a table of lawyers.
Brooke
That's what I thought, too.
Danielle
It wasn't set up correctly. I will say one note to the director.
Brooke
I feel like manager, lawyer could be. I don't want to say interchangeable, but like, representation, you know, representation at that
Danielle
point because it was just all the people at the table, they looked like lawyers.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
It wasn't giving, like, creative manager.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
But maybe back in the day, it wasn't like. Like, our managers don't look like those. Like, they're like, just.
Brooke
No, yeah, yeah. They're like people who, like, I want to, like, wear like an outfit. Yeah. It's not like, nice suit.
Danielle
Like.
Brooke
Yeah, yeah. I don't think I've ever seen my manager in a suit. Actually.
Danielle
We used to share a manager that wore a suit every day.
Brooke
Yeah, he was like. He was like that. He was at the table, though.
Danielle
He was like that.
Brooke
That's like old school Hollywood school. Like, I like new school Hollywood. At least the digital department.
Danielle
Black T shirts and like, hats.
Brooke
Yes. You're so right. They know all the brands and shit.
Danielle
Like, yeah, they go to the clubs.
Brooke
Yeah, they go out. Like, I feel like they're like half of their job is, like, socializing.
Danielle
Honestly, it's so exhausting.
Brooke
I think about that all the time. I think about the PR girlies, like, honestly, like Delaney and Colby. I think about them all the time. Because Much talking. I just feel like they're always on the job.
Danielle
Always on the job. And like my friend, we used to work in sales, My friends that work in sales, the more I talk to them, it's like you have to socialize a lot.
Brooke
A lot of.
Danielle
It's like taking the clients out or like trying to impress new people.
Brooke
Yeah, no, and it's not just like a dinner. It's like dinner into drinks, into whatever. Like you have to like what? Like you can't be the first one to go home.
Danielle
No, you can't. Might not buy your product. Yeah. Or.
Brooke
Which is so deal.
Danielle
Which is so crazy.
Brooke
I know. You guys are amazing.
Danielle
You guys are amazing.
Brooke
Shout out.
Danielle
Shout out. So what are you doing after this?
Brooke
Oh, after this I'm going to Bloomingdale's to register to get.
Danielle
So are you gonna get to have the scanning gun?
Brooke
I am, I am. I called and I made sure. So I was like, do I need to like make an appointment? Whatever? And they were like, well, the guns are always available. No scanning guns, you know, they had to Clare. Yeah, yeah, the scanning guns.
Danielle
Scanning guns.
Brooke
Scanning guns are always available. Like while the stores are.
Danielle
You make a TikTok.
Brooke
Yes, of course, of course.
Danielle
Is there a bride war sound you can use?
Brooke
I watched it recently because I. I felt inspired.
Danielle
You had to get in the mood.
Brooke
Yeah, I did get in the mood and because then I'm looking up how old was Anna Hathaway in bridewurst? She was like 25.
Danielle
Wow.
Brooke
I know. But Kate Hudson was like 30. So that made me feel.
Danielle
That makes sense. That makes sense.
Brooke
That made me feel better.
Danielle
I'm gonna need some content.
Brooke
Yes, 100%. We're gonna go. At first it was just gonna be me and Ben's sister, cuz she's done it before. And I was like, oh, like let's go together.
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke
Then I was like, you know what, I think the groom should be here too for us. Just given that he does most of like the cooking and stuff anyways. He's more particular with like kitchen appliances. Like I will buy something because it's cute or be like, oh yeah. To be honest, I don't really need anything. Like this is all like, I feel very blessed. I live a very full life.
Danielle
Yeah. You were telling me it was because other people have been asking you like, please, please.
Brooke
Yes.
Danielle
We just need something to go off of. Because knowing you, you wouldn't have normally done this.
Brooke
No, no, no, no. And I would just say like give money and stuff. But like I think with A lot of older family members. Like, it doesn't. That's not how it was done. Yeah. They're like, I want to get you the registry.
Danielle
Give me the link.
Brooke
Literally, Benjamin. Or they're like, where are you registered? Then they, like, show up to that store.
Danielle
Yeah, they want to.
Brooke
That's old brick and mortar. Like a picture.
Danielle
Look up the name. I actually did that with my mom a few times growing up. Really? Yes.
Brooke
We didn't, like, go to a lot of weddings when I was I.
Danielle
Only my babysitter's wedding. Yeah, just a few, but okay. Yeah.
Brooke
I'm trying to think, like, baby showers and stuff. Yeah.
Danielle
Like, baby shot. You would let me.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
Like Bed, Bath and Beyond.
Brooke
Oh, we definitely did, like, a Babies R Us, like, situation. I remember going with my mom and.
Danielle
Yeah. We grew up in the perfect time. I'm so grateful. Like, oh, my God. We'll talk about it later. But on Love island, how they're like, yeah, I was born in 03.
Brooke
Yeah. And they're young. They're young. It's a young crop. Crazy kids. Yeah. Yeah.
Danielle
So you're going to Blooming.
Brooke
So I'm gonna go to Bloomies.
Danielle
And you're wearing your new mew.
Brooke
Mew. I did. I did. This was my, like, one splurge bridal purchase. My feet are red from my run here. You know, suddenly.
Danielle
Yes.
Brooke
Guys are new, man.
Danielle
I can't stop my little run. Yeah, you love your little jogs. That's what brought you to run a half marathon.
Brooke
Yeah. Oh, and I. I ran. So I go, well, let me finish the Bloomingdale slot, then I'll go back to running. Circle back to running. Yeah, but, like, where do you register? That is the question, you know, and then I asked people, because you can register literally any. Almost any, like, department store, any store. Like, they have. Most likely, like, I told you, they have bridal collections. They have, like, if you go on their website, it's like, register because they want you to shop. Like, it's basically encouraging people to buy you gifts from there.
Danielle
True. They want you to register. Yeah, that makes sense.
Brooke
So. But everyone told. Not everyone, but, like, you know, the. They were like, Bloomingdale's was the type of. Like, I feel like that's like the old. You know, they're like, Bloomingdale's.
Danielle
Like, yeah, that's very New York.
Brooke
Yes.
Danielle
It's all. And you have all New York family, so that makes sense.
Brooke
Yes. And they've, you know, they have everything. Yeah. I'm like, what do I really. The One thing that I really like, I'm like, okay. Like, I think I know you haven't bought this for myself because, like, it's hard for me to justify. Even though I bought these shoes that are probably the same price, which, you know, that's how my brain works, though. Just bear with me. He's an espresso.
Danielle
I knew you're gonna say that. Like a true, like, pound. Yeah.
Brooke
Like a real one. But everything. I'm like, we. I mean, I think maybe an immersion blender would be nice. Like one of those, like, blenders that, you know, you can kind of blend it in. But, like, you know, and people have told, like, then other family members, like, you know, you need the proper serving wear and stuff. I'm like, my Marshalls and TJ Maxx finds are great. Like, you know, I feel like.
Danielle
I guess you'll see what speaks to you.
Brooke
Like a nice, like, salad bowl with, like, the right. You know, like, it's 200 salad bowl. I'm like, why?
Danielle
Like, maybe like a night. I mean. No. We have so many blankets. I was gonna say no. Yeah.
Brooke
That is the one thing I do not need.
Danielle
No.
Brooke
No more room.
Danielle
We've got. They don't have Lola, but me does, anyway.
Brooke
No, I. I think it's mostly, like, kitchen stuff, I guess. Yeah. Or people do.
Danielle
Yeah. Really? Ben should be there.
Brooke
That's what I'm saying. Because it's like his tools. Like.
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke
Because I would just be like, oh, my God, this was so cute. And he'd be like, this has no practicality, you know? Yeah.
Danielle
The wedding day comes and you're getting all these random trinkets.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
He's like, bro, quiet.
Brooke
Yeah. No. So we're gonna go do that.
Danielle
So they do still have the gun.
Brooke
Yes.
Danielle
So cool.
Brooke
I know. And I feel like, like, do they even have the same. The full inventory in store? Because I feel like, in store now, like, they don't even carry.
Danielle
I feel like this will be like, a performative day for you and a
Brooke
good, like, performative register.
Danielle
It's going to be a performative. I think you guys will see a few things, but I think it's just fun to go in person, I think. Yeah. You're doing that.
Brooke
Yeah. You could register like, Williams Sonoma. I saw that they have good stuff.
Danielle
People do Amazon.
Brooke
Yeah. Well, I mean, those are nice because you could really get everything. There's like, if you do, like, the knot or one of those, like, you can register from, like, anywhere. Hypothetically. Like, it pulls everything in, but. But then you can't just show up and say, we're, you know, we're here for. For Brooke and Ben, the future prizes, you know, they can't.
Danielle
Oh. Because the knot or whatever that website
Brooke
is, it pulls everything.
Danielle
Like, I see.
Brooke
Yeah. Like, you can hypothetically pull from. Yeah. People do luggage. People register for luggage. I guess I have honeymoon. Yeah.
Danielle
I always go for the honeymoon fund on a registry.
Brooke
That's nice. Yeah.
Danielle
Yeah. I don't know.
Brooke
Someone commented on something, they're like, you can do a future child college fund. And at first I was like, that's kind of crazy. And I was like, honestly, it's kind of smart. But I don't think it's for me to list that. But, like, you know, I understand the vision in that.
Danielle
Yeah, I do understand the vision, though.
Brooke
It's like, that is like when you
Danielle
get married, starting a family, the two of you, and event. Eventually one day, you know.
Brooke
That is so true. I started, like, really going so deep on just my life. I was like, oh. Because I had a call with my accountant. I've just been, like, really doing, like, really all. No, no, no. You don't even know.
Danielle
You don't even know. I feel like we're just skimming the surface.
Brooke
Yeah, no, we literally are. And we were talking about, like, weddings and stuff, and I was like, oh, well, my mom. Because my mom and I use the same account. I was like, well, my mom will talk to you about the wedding, and you know, how she plans on, you know, what, whatever, like, what happens there. And then I'm thinking, I'm like, wow, one day I'm gonna have to pay for my kids wedding. Like, you just start really thinking about. You're like, wow, this is circle of life.
Danielle
Yeah. That's what you do.
Brooke
That's crazy. Yeah. So anyways, I'll circle back to running.
Danielle
Yeah. People need updates on your foot.
Brooke
My foot's totally fine. I went and got an X ray afterwards after our recording a few weeks ago because I was like, oh, my God, my freaking foot's broken now because I was actually in a lot of pain.
Danielle
You were limping?
Brooke
Yeah. And it was completely fine. And I was like, you know what? I'm just gonna take it easy for the next few weeks. And it just. The pain completely subsided. I took a break from running for a little bit, and then I focused on, like, strength training and stuff. So I don't know. Some people told me the same thing happened to them. They were like, look, I ran. I didn't fully hurt myself, but I felt it coming. And then, you know, you ease off of it. If it obviously kept hurting, like, I would have gone again because then you have to get, like, an MRI and stuff. But I'm. I'm good. I'm in the clear.
Danielle
In the clear. All good. So you went for a run this morning.
Brooke
Yeah, this was like, my first run back.
Danielle
How did it feel suddenly?
Brooke
Yes. That is so.
Danielle
Suddenly I say, oh, it's so Skyline behind.
Brooke
You're so right. Like, run, like, you know, and me. Me and my engagement ring, like, being like, ah.
Danielle
And then you're finishing up, cooling off, saying, hey, Derek. Walking into the building, like, yeah, Any mail?
Brooke
Or just pass people on the street? And I'm like, oh, my God. So good to say.
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke
Hi.
Danielle
Yeah, I got engaged.
Brooke
No, I. It was a good run, to be honest. I'm really motivated to run again because I'm doing a brand deal that involves me leading a run club next month,
Danielle
and I'm really scared people are gonna go, oh, my God, this is so.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
Little preview for the gal.
Brooke
Yeah, it's coming. Big things coming.
Danielle
That's so exciting.
Brooke
I asked was like, how long is the run? Yeah. So I can get an idea. I don't think it would be very long, Right.
Danielle
I doubt it. Yeah. They didn't tell you yet?
Brooke
No, but it's really cool. Like, I'm so excited about it. I was honestly, I need the push. Like.
Danielle
Yeah. And you'll, like, run and chat with people. Yeah, jog. Jog and chat.
Brooke
Yeah. Right. Is that what people do?
Danielle
I have no idea. I walked past a run club this morning, and I was like, wow. They just all decided to do that.
Brooke
They all just woke. I see them. They, like, end at the Fort Green Farmers Market on Saturday around, like, 9 or 10, which is, like, when we go and I see them, like, and they're all like. You know, I've seen them, like, taking pictures at the end or being like.
Danielle
Like, it is a cool. Hey, maybe you'll, like, love it so much you'll start one or you'll join one. Who knows? It's a cute idea.
Brooke
Join me for weekly runs. I understand. Like, it definitely gets you motivated, like, and gets you going because you have, like, accountability of being like, my. My. My run club, you know, you have to show up. Yeah. Yeah.
Danielle
They'll be like, where's Brooke? She's not here.
Brooke
And then.
Danielle
So was it fine running, though?
Brooke
Yeah, it was.
Danielle
Felt good.
Brooke
Oh. I mean, it was really hard. Yeah.
Danielle
Oh, I can't.
Brooke
Yeah. Like, I know. It was really Hard. I was like, I ran with no set. Like, I was just. I just want to run and see, like, how good I feel. And I. First I was like, I could do five, and then I was like, four. Sounding real nice.
Danielle
Four is sounding perfect. Like, four is a lot in my head.
Brooke
It. It. That's like, almost 10,000 steps.
Danielle
Like, and you do, like, a circle.
Brooke
If you go down to Brooklyn Bridge park, my favorite place, you can run the piers, which is really, like. That's, like, flat.
Danielle
But then you don't get so far, but you. Right.
Brooke
Yes. Well, so I'll run the piers, and then I, like, run them on the way back, too. It's. But then you kind of have to go back on an incline to go back to, like, regular a little. Yeah. So you. So you start on a decline, and then it's, like, all flat, and then you go on an incline. Running uphill is fudgeing hard. Oh, my God.
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
You get more out of breath. You get winded. Like, sounds vulnerable.
Brooke
Yeah, I was cramping. It was hard. Look, you're like, can imagine.
Danielle
No, like, I literally. You're really convincing me to want to run.
Brooke
How much would someone, like, if, like. Let's just say a brand came to you, and they're like, danielle, like, we want you to lead the run club. Like, would you. Or would you really stand true? Like, that's.
Danielle
I mean, if you guys see me leading a run club, just know I'm getting it back because I would. No, I would do literally a mile. Like, I would do a mile.
Brooke
No, that's fine. Yeah. What? You do a mile.
Danielle
The only time I've. The last time I. The literal last time I ran was when I did Kate Max's running interview two, three years ago.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
It's probably the last time I've ran.
Brooke
And you actually ran for that, right? Yeah, that was, like, real run.
Danielle
It wasn't like, in Dumbo.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
I was in Brooklyn running around.
Brooke
Oh. So that's, like, kind of where I run then. I think it's the same.
Danielle
Is that where is it?
Brooke
Like, right by the one hotel. Is that where you went? Yeah, that's literally where the route goes. It starts so pretty, like, in Brooklyn Heights. And then you run down and then you run all the piers.
Danielle
Yes. When you said that, I was like, I think I've been there. But then I thought, no way. Yeah, that is.
Brooke
It's nice. Yes.
Danielle
Beach. You can sit and take a load off.
Brooke
It's like a great route. I really like that route.
Danielle
That's Ideal.
Brooke
But I have to give myself time. That's the thing. Like, I'm not like. Like, I always tell myself, I'm like, 45 minutes. I'm like, it's an hour and a half.
Danielle
Like, that's a long. Yeah. Then you have to, like, shower. It's a whole.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
You're hungry, probably.
Brooke
Well, and then if I don't eat, then I get the shake. So it's like, you have to eat right after, like, to really, like, you know, take care of yourself. Yeah, you got it.
Danielle
Electrolytes. Like, it's a whole routine, you guys.
Brooke
It really is. It really is.
Danielle
Can I tell you something that happened to my friend?
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
And I got her permission to show.
Brooke
Oh, my God.
Danielle
Because I just, like, didn't know that this could happen with, like, all this travel everyone has coming up in the summer. And you'll let me know if you've heard this. Oh, my friend was going to Charleston, actually was boarding her flight, so she obviously heard they had scanned her boarding pass, everything. She wasn't checking a bag, but they scanned her boarding pass to check in through tsa. She goes to get on the plane, and they're like, oh, we gave your seat away. She was like, what? And they were like, you didn't check in in time? I didn't check in in time. So many of my flights, I check in. Like, I guess a lot of times I do it the day before because you just get the notification. It's easy. But I've definitely, like, checked in on my way to the airport before, and she was like, I did check in, and I have been through tsa, and they're like, that's our policy. She flew American Airlines.
Brooke
I was gonna say, I feel Delta.
Danielle
No. I was like, maybe Delta just doesn't do this. But she was like, no, they lit. They literally, her and two other people, their seats were given up, and she was. She was, like, so upset. She was with her boyfriend. Her boyfriend.
Brooke
Like, so he went, yeah.
Danielle
She was like, you have to go. Like, we have to get there. So she got on the next flight. It was fine. But what the.
Brooke
That's really crazy.
Danielle
Tell me everything. Like, did you do something wrong? She was like, no. They said, I didn't check. You're supposed to check in one day before.
Brooke
Yeah. Yeah.
Danielle
I didn't know that.
Brooke
Yeah. I mean, I know that they give up the. On the. The seats, but I thought that Those are literally 10 minutes before the flight, like, leaves. Like, it's like, yeah, you know, very, very, very last minute. Like, yeah.
Danielle
And, like, she had already gone through security. Like, they had. She's been scanned already. So, I mean, yeah, maybe she literally didn't check in until she's walking into the airport, but I know so many people that do that.
Brooke
But you have a ticket. Did she? Okay, now this is where I'm gonna get into the nitty gritty.
Danielle
Like, I'll have to ask her, was
Brooke
it, like, a basic ticket or was it main?
Danielle
I should ask, because if it was basic, maybe you lose some rights.
Brooke
You don't have as many.
Danielle
Right.
Brooke
You actually have, like, no rights. Like, if you get the basic. I know this. With Delta, there's, like, main, which is like, of course the main. But then there's a level below, which is, like, basic, which is a much cheaper fare. But, like, legitimately, it's like, if the flight is full, you're kicked off. If, like, there's so many things. It's like you do not have a seat assignment until.
Danielle
I know exactly what you're saying.
Brooke
But still, you would still think that you have your ticketed passenger on that plane, though, even if you have no rights. Like, you know, like, that's kind of crazy.
Danielle
No, I. I think it's. Oh, she's typing. We're live. She said Maine.
Brooke
That's crazy, because I see. That's.
Danielle
Because that's happened to Ryan, where you, like, get assigned your. He does. He basically does that every time.
Brooke
Really?
Danielle
One of the ladies had first class and she. That's not okay. Yeah. And she didn't.
Brooke
Did she freak out? Oh, my God.
Danielle
Wow. She must have been pissed. Yeah.
Brooke
Wow, that's really interesting.
Danielle
It, like, made me so angry for her.
Brooke
Oh, my God. And then her boyfriend's. See you later. Goodbye.
Danielle
I get. And he. I guess. Well, he. No, he got up from a seat when he found out because she's, like, texting him.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
Or no. I mean, he didn't make it far past. They made him go forward. They're like, sir, go forward. Because they didn't realize they were together. And she didn't get on the flight, though. And he was. He was standing up. He's talking to flight attendants. Like, I need. My girlfriend's out there, you know? Yeah, but I get it. It's like, he should take the flight.
Brooke
No, of course. Because he. Well, is he even going to get on the next one?
Danielle
Right? Exactly. Like, I don't know. Maybe they only had one seat left, and thank God she got on it.
Brooke
Wow, that's so crazy. They would be hearing from me. Yeah. I'M dialing immediately.
Danielle
Like, oh, yeah, I would have. Like, she was like, no, I was upset, but I was like, I think I would have cried.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
Because they were on, like, the 6am flight. I would have been so tired, pissed.
Brooke
Like, I mean, at least they had all day to get there, but still, that's like, oh, oh. So at least you gotta take the morning flight.
Danielle
I know the way you said it was, I guess.
Brooke
Yes, of course. It's morning flight. That's the best flight.
Danielle
I literally said, Can I talk about this on the podcast? Because I just think it's crazy.
Brooke
I didn't know it was bad.
Danielle
And she was going home for her son's high school graduation. I'm sorry. American Airlines do better. I'm not gonna, like, tag American Airlines. I hate when people do that, honestly.
Brooke
But when what they. They're, like, had a terrible experience with at blah, blah, blah. Yeah. Yeah.
Danielle
I feel like people probably don't do that as much anymore, but I just think it's like, come on.
Brooke
No, I've definitely taken to Twitter in my day.
Danielle
No, back in the day. But when people are still doing that.
Brooke
I know, I know.
Danielle
I'm like, unless it's praise. Like, I think praise is nice.
Brooke
Oh, that's so nice. I actually.
Danielle
I love Delta. At Delta.
Brooke
I will stay on the phone and do the phone survey for people that are nice.
Danielle
Oh, when they're. Yeah, yeah.
Brooke
I just did that the other. I had a lovely woman. I actually, right now, I don't have health insurance. Like, I, like, fully. Like, I should be panicked. I should be concerned. But the woman on the phone was. Was a delight. So I stayed on. I gave her five. I said, she talked, and then, like, it was like, please leave a message. Like, you know, leave your comments. I was like, she was a delight. She. You know, this is a really stressful time. I'm really worried. She's amazing.
Danielle
Like, I'm really down on the dumps.
Brooke
But Sherry, I just brought her home. She was like, oh, my God, we're gonna work on this. You know, like, she was really empathetic.
Danielle
I love when they say, we, like, just gonna solve this right up.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
Hey, honey. Like, I needed to hear that. I needed to be comforted.
Brooke
I like, I like when they take the stance of, like, we're in this together and not the, like, siding with the company. Like, they need to decide, like, the company. Like, we're on a team here.
Danielle
You know what I always wonder when you're, like, at the airport or at a hotel and you're checking in, and you give them your credit card and id, Whatever. What are they doing on their computer? They're like, typing. Typing.
Brooke
At the hotel.
Danielle
At the hotel and you're checking in. It's like, what all could they be doing?
Brooke
That's actually a really good question.
Danielle
When we were in Vegas, I mean, this woman was. And me and Freddie both are like, what could she be? Like, who is she texting someone? Is she on imessage?
Brooke
Yeah, that's keeping up.
Danielle
Like, what are they typing? Clicking. Okay, Maybe they're, like, picking our room based off if they like us or not. You know, like, if you book through amex, it's like, okay, I'll give them the upgrade. But I've always just.
Brooke
I thought it was just randomly. Like, not randomly assigned, but I thought that, like, it was kind of predetermined. Like, the computer, like, you know, they're like. The computer says what it says.
Danielle
Like, I always thought that, but I think they do kind of like, okay, I can put you in this one. Would you, like, high floor? Like, maybe not every time, but just like, what are they doing specifically? What are they typing? If you guys know.
Brooke
If you know, let us know down below, let us know. Well, another thing that I did this week is I set up a bank account with Ben. Yeah, I really just did a lot this week. I know. No, that's why I say I'm doing admin this week. It was a week of admin.
Danielle
Oh, my God. That's for.
Brooke
We just need a bank. Like, I just, you know, we've been saying, like, okay, like, well. And I guess we could have waited till we were married, but I have this big theory. I'm like, people are gonna get us gifts, like, and we're gonna need a bank account to put the. Get, like, money gifts. And he was like, I don't know who is giving us. Like, you keep referring to people giving us gifts, but, like, I don't know who. And I was like, no, no, trust me, it's gonna be.
Danielle
Well, if you guys do a, like, engagement party stuff like that. I don't know.
Brooke
I just am like, okay, well, if it's not from the registry, maybe people will send us a check. Like, I. I just.
Danielle
That's so true. And it's like, whose bank account goes in?
Brooke
That's why it's like, it's. Both of us joined. So we set it up, and there was a lot of typing, a lot of time.
Danielle
Oh, what are they doing?
Brooke
There was so much typing. I was like, like, it Was literally like, a full essay. You know what I mean? Like, yeah, yeah. I'm like, so what's for dinner tonight, by the way?
Danielle
Yeah. You could fully do something else.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
Like, I always wonder, like, when we made our gals in the go bank account.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
What are they doing?
Brooke
Yeah. No.
Danielle
Well, Brooke, like we said, suddenly I see it's summertime, and I feel like again this weekend, I literally have a rooftop party. And something that's perfect to bring is Malibu Pink.
Brooke
I love showing up with, like, the perfect drink that, like, you can be like, hey, we can just take this as shots if you want. Bring it chilled.
Danielle
Yes. It has to come chill.
Brooke
Yes. And you could be like, hey, let's do shots. Or you could be like, actually, like, I brought a mix mixer. Like, we can, like, mix it with some stuff. I love, like, showing up with the full kit, you know, and just. Yes, here we go.
Danielle
Option to do this or do.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
Brooks into more of, like, it's basically this, like, very fun, pink, vibrant cocktail. Brooke usually does it over ice.
Brooke
Right. And with the lemonade.
Danielle
With the lemonade.
Brooke
I love, like, lemonade. Fun fact about me, like, that's, like, one of my favorite things. So this mixed with it, like, I feel like it's literally pink lemonade. It's perfect.
Danielle
It's so refreshing. It's delicious. Which I have tried it like that, of course, but you guys know I'm a shots girly. So chilled in a little shotgun glass down the hatch. Like, it's so good. You don't need, like, a chaser after, which I really appreciate. I am totally bringing this this weekend. It was such a hit last time I brought it at a pregame. It's also just fun when you're getting ready to have, like, a cute little pink drink on your counter. I love an aesthetic shot of, like, your makeup and the drink. You could, like, pour it in a pretty glass.
Brooke
Like, it's girly. Like, it's really, like, getting ready with the girls. Coated.
Danielle
Ready with the girls. So we're really grateful to Malibu Pink for coming out this drink. I just rhymed.
Brooke
Yeah. And so it's really fruity. It has, like, guava and pineapple and coconut. It's. As we said, it's that pink color. So it's really, really fun. It just. It's kind of, like, unlike anything that I've ever had before, honestly. Like.
Danielle
Yeah, because.
Brooke
Because it's so flavorful and in the sense that, like, you can just drink it on its own. 100, you know, like, it's you're ready to go?
Danielle
Yeah. And like we were saying, you know, you could serve it so many different ways. You can make up your own little cocktail with it. Like, it's. At the end of the day, it's this really delicious rum. Like, it's just so good.
Brooke
I love Malibu.
Danielle
I mean, we love Malibu. I mean, like, the bottle is so cute. I also love how it's just like a little twist top. Like, I just had to grab it. Like, I mean, come on. Guava?
Brooke
Yeah. No, it looks good on the shelf.
Danielle
It looks good on the shelf. I just have it out in my kitchen and it's just a vibe. I feel like when people walk in, they're like, oh, you ready to party? I said, yeah.
Brooke
Yeah. Honestly, keep one link in the fridge and then keep one, like, on your bar cart. Like, I feel like maybe that's.
Danielle
This one would look really good on the bar cart. You could put, like a little, like, I don't know, pink candle. Not. You could really, like.
Brooke
Yeah, yeah.
Danielle
It's very gals coated.
Brooke
If I had, like, my pink girly apartment, I would, like, lean in, but it still is, like, this is my girly bit.
Danielle
Yeah. You know you were, like, alone for a few days last week, right?
Brooke
Yeah. And I was like, pink takeover.
Danielle
Yeah, Takeover. No, it's really bright. It's really great. It's great for, like, if you're having, like, I don't know, just a summer fun day. You wear your little bathing suit, you do it up, you make the drinks. It is absolutely delicious. So get ready with Malibu Pink. Find Malibu Pink at a retailer near you. Must be 21 or older. Malibu Pink white rum with Tropical Liqueur 21 alcohol Volume 2025, imported by Premium Pernod Recar USA New York, NY.
Brooke
It was the same thing. Oh, then they asked about that, you know, because it's like a. Like, I was like, well, I have another bank with my other partner, my business partner.
Danielle
He's my domestic partner and I've got my business partner suddenly.
Brooke
Yes. That's so. Like, going to the bank, you know, like, setting up, like, being like, you know, oh, they were so nice. Have a. Have a great day. And you too. Like, and you too.
Danielle
Now, did you see the pictures of Dua, Lipa and Callum?
Brooke
Yeah. Giving you and Ben it is in her little. Like, that was like a. You know, a real hat.
Danielle
All the things.
Brooke
I mean, she looked fab, you know, on some others, it might be like, okay. Yeah, okay, okay. That was a choice. But I feel like she pulls off any look.
Danielle
She really does. She looks. It was more like. Not that she's not sophisticated, but very.
Brooke
Yes.
Danielle
That vibe for her.
Brooke
I picture her wearing, like, a little slinky. Not to the courthouse, per se.
Danielle
A little slingy, like.
Brooke
But I wouldn't necessarily picture her in, like, this. You know, I would see Jackie.
Danielle
Oh. Vibe, like, it was so Jackie O. Vibes.
Brooke
But she looked fab. Yeah. Going to the. So they went to the courthouse.
Danielle
They went to the court going. I mean, I. Chapel. You know what I finally watched after years of you telling me to watch Four Weddings on tlc. Yes.
Brooke
What was that on the plane or just in general?
Danielle
It was just on one of the streaming platforms on our tv.
Brooke
Oh, you. You clicked on it?
Danielle
Yeah, we just saw it.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
Right. We have to watch this. I've been hearing about this forever. He hated it.
Brooke
I was gonna say.
Danielle
I don't think, but I just was, like, so dying to watch it and. Oh, my God, it was so entertaining. I. We only watched the first episode, but
Brooke
this first episode of the whole show.
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke
Probably start with the first. No, the pilot is never a good place to start. It's messy. It is messy. The production budget, there is none. Like, it's low budget. Right.
Danielle
Like, that was just the show. Does it get better?
Brooke
You, like, I would skip to, like, season four, episode seven. Like, just go random because every episode's different. And, like, you know, just go. When they, like, you know, they're in their flow. Like.
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke
You know.
Danielle
Yeah. That is. So why did I. You know what? Because I didn't know if, like, I'm realizing now, one episode is Four Weddings.
Brooke
Yeah. Yeah. But I thought it was, to be
Danielle
fair, Ryan was like, well, no, we gotta start from the beginning, because it will go.
Brooke
I get it.
Danielle
And I was like, okay.
Brooke
Oh, my God. I'm sure the pilot of that show is a mess. I'm gonna go watch.
Danielle
It was a bit messy, but it was so, like. I'm curious if, like, basically the show Brooke had told me, it's like, four brides, they don't know each other beforehand, but they meet, and then they all go to each other's weddings and, like, judge them.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
And, like, one of the women, she did her.
Brooke
They do themes. Yeah.
Danielle
She did their wedding at, like, the horse races.
Brooke
Oh, wow.
Danielle
Like, so they, like, literally. But it wasn't as bad bougie as I. Like. They just kind of, like, got married in the courtyard of. And then went.
Brooke
Watch it. It really. The show really conceptually doesn't make a ton of sense because also, the budgets are so different, and they compare. Like, they'll be like, yeah, her budget 5,000 and her budget's 400,000. And they put them in the same episode, like, competing against each other.
Danielle
This one. They all had pretty similar budgets, actually.
Brooke
Oh, they did.
Danielle
But I'm so. That's interesting, that. Okay, but no, but they were significant. They were different enough, though. I see what you're saying. It's like she had 10,000 more dollars.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
Something.
Brooke
And this was back in what year?
Danielle
No, I know. I'm like, those prices wouldn't exist now. Like, the prices they were saying.
Brooke
Yeah, no, but that show. I watched that when I was, like, young and impressionable, and I feel like that show led me to believe that everybody has a theme for their wedding. No one has. I've never been to a wedding with a theme. At least 20. That and 27 dresses led me to believe that every wedding had the circus theme or the. The masquerade theme. Weddings don't have a theme. Like, maybe a color scheme, maybe a vibe. Have you ever been to a wedding with a theme?
Danielle
No, like New Year. I've never been one, but I guess New Year's Eve theme. But that's not even a theme. It's just. You celebrate.
Brooke
Yeah, I guess I've been to some that is a garden chic or whatever. That's not even female. It's like a dress code, you know,
Danielle
it'd be a funny break. I don't know. I feel like you and Ben have talked about so much already that he wouldn't, like.
Brooke
Yeah, yeah.
Danielle
But if you were like, so, what do you think our theme should be?
Brooke
That's funny. That would be funny. He wouldn't give me the reaction that you're hoping for, though. You know, he's not very like.
Danielle
Well, no, I know. He would be like, brooke, what are you talking about?
Brooke
Yeah, no, it would be like.
Danielle
Like, that would be funny. Like, you, like, pretending, like. Okay, like, one thing we haven't talked
Brooke
about is, like, the theme.
Danielle
And then he'd be like, what? But I guess you guys have gone to so many weddings together.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
That he knows, like, what. That's not normal.
Brooke
But, like, 27 dresses when she's going through everything, like, there's, like, a goth wedding. Like, there's like the Halloween wedding. Like, I'm like, how is this? I remember being like, oh, my God, these are crazy. They were more like costumes. They weren't dresses. Like, looks.
Danielle
You're so right. There was, like, a goth one. There was all kinds of.
Brooke
Yeah, they probably had some themes in that one. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, and the couples are so interesting on that show. Also. Like, old TLC shows. This is just like, an observation that I have, like, and I think it's also because I. I have a distorted perception of how old I think I look. Because, you know, you grow up and you, like, see your face every day, so you're like, I don't think I actually, like, look range. But sometimes those people, they'll be like, and I'm 27. I'm like, oh, my God. And I thought you were 45.
Danielle
Yeah, yeah. No, I always thought. I. I literally thought that when you were 27, you were old.
Brooke
Like, probably when I was because of those shows. And I think it's literally just how they dress and style their hair. Like, it's not how they actually, like, you know what I mean? Like, it could. They could have a full upgrade makeover if they just.
Danielle
Well, what not to wear was so.
Brooke
Yeah. Yeah.
Danielle
Loved that show.
Brooke
My God.
Danielle
And. Oh, no, that was that tlc, the Extreme Makeover Home Edition.
Brooke
I love that show. That bus, it was like, the kid would be like, I like aquariums and then aquarium bedroom for you. Like, we brought. Yeah, that. Talk about themes.
Danielle
Talk about themes.
Brooke
Oh, my God, they did the craziest shit on that show. That was so wild.
Danielle
You did a theme for your shoot 16.
Brooke
That makes sense. Like that Bar bot bomber, Bar mitzvahs. Like, that makes sense. Children's birthday parties have a theme. Honestly. Have a theme for your birthday? Like, I have a theme for my.
Danielle
Yeah, we've done themes in New York.
Brooke
Wedding is. The theme is love.
Danielle
Yeah. No, the theme is. No, for sure. I. I can't think of a wedding I've been to where there's a theme. I. Jazz is. But yeah, we had to all wear black.
Brooke
Yeah, but that's a dress code. That's. I feel like that's not a thing.
Danielle
What even would a theme? Well, I guess the ones we've explained
Brooke
what was in that episode there wasn't really, like, it wasn't theme, but.
Danielle
Well, they had to wear, like, their Kentucky Derby hats and, like, it was at the horse races.
Brooke
There's a girl on Tick Tock who, like, reviews four wedding episodes, and she, like, gives, like, a Recap of them. Basically. You should look into this so you don't even have to watch them. It's like her commentary on them and she does like screenshots and she's like. And this was their theme.
Danielle
Like.
Brooke
Yeah, basically. Yeah.
Danielle
About it.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
Wow. People are making videos about you and your engagement. Well, you like sent me one.
Brooke
Like one. One. Yeah, I know. And it was like positive. I was like, like, I'm gonna leave it at that.
Danielle
Yeah. Like I'll just keep it there.
Brooke
Yeah, I know.
Danielle
So crazy.
Brooke
Yeah. Cuz I saw like one negative comment about my ring, but I was like, it's similar to like if someone doesn't like your outfit, I'm like, thank God you don't have to wear it.
Danielle
Yeah, like luckily, luckily you don't have to. Hey, I'm not telling you to wear it. I actually don't want you to wear it because it's mine.
Brooke
And you know, hey, maybe if you had a ring you.
Danielle
Yeah, no, they don't have a ring.
Brooke
Joking. I'm joking.
Danielle
Maybe there's no ring.
Brooke
I'm joking. That's. But I feel like that's so true. Like in 99 of situations, it's like, you know, people will be like, oh my God, God, your boyfriend, blah, blah, blah. Like it's like, well maybe if you had a boyfriend, like not to be like that. I used to be that hater. Like, you know, I really would. Like, I feel like I'd be like, that's her boyfriend and. Yeah. Or whatever.
Danielle
You know, if you had one.
Brooke
No, that sounds up to say.
Danielle
But that's what have these people that say the meanest. It's like, oh, so you're not happy?
Brooke
That's, that's what it comes from a place of. Like more so that. And you know, maybe she is engaged and maybe she's happy and she just simply doesn't like the ring. And you know, if that's your truth, I can live with.
Danielle
I can handle it. Can you manage it?
Brooke
I can, I can manage it. Yeah. It's engagement. I know we talk about this all the time, but my God.
Danielle
Congratulations. Oh, that was so exciting. She sent us a selfie.
Brooke
I need the story because she was wearing white.
Danielle
I'm dying. Oh, I took that as yellow. I took that as yellow.
Brooke
Really?
Danielle
That was yellow?
Brooke
You read that as yellow?
Danielle
It was reading yellow.
Brooke
Like it was very cream white.
Danielle
Really?
Brooke
That's what I thought. I don't know.
Danielle
Oh my God, you've got me.
Brooke
No, maybe not. I don't know.
Danielle
No, no, it was like. I remember thinking, no, I need the story, though, because she. I'm just confused.
Brooke
She looks amazing, though. The outfit is so chic.
Danielle
No, the outfit's so good.
Brooke
No, there's flashes, like, paparazzi vibes.
Danielle
Like, she. It's literally so her. Yeah, I guess it does look. Well, he's wearing white. It looks cream in this, but I guess I just thought it was yellow, but it definitely. Yeah, could be cream. It's not white, though.
Brooke
Well, she looks stunning.
Danielle
She. She looks stunning. They. Charlie's amazing. We met him once at dinner, and I knew. Like, I remember her telling us, like, I'm gonna marry him. And, like, I get it. Like, when.
Brooke
I know when she said that, I was like, oh, my Lord. Like, you know, because, like, she hasn't said that about anybody before. Like, so. And we've known her for so long, and I feel like. You don't. Don't say that.
Danielle
No.
Brooke
Like, unless you mean it. I don't know. Yeah.
Danielle
But I do remember, grow. Growing up, she would always say, like, guys, I swear, what's gonna happen is I'm gonna meet some guy and then just, like, want to marry him right away.
Brooke
She literally called it, and I understood immediately. For context, he, Danielle, and I, like, when we went home separately, he opened up our Uber door for us to be, like, a real gentleman. Like, you know.
Danielle
Yeah. Mackenzie, Elizabeth, by the way, if you don't know she's an influencer, best. Like, I feel like you should know him. Know who that is. But just if you want to go look at her photos. Kenzie, Elizabeth.
Brooke
Stunning. So stunning.
Danielle
He is. He was such a gentleman.
Brooke
Such a gentleman.
Danielle
He literally came to dinner with all ladies and.
Brooke
No.
Danielle
Handled it perfectly. Was in the conversation.
Brooke
Spoke. So I love when, like, they speak so highly of the other person. Like, you know, when he's like, rub her back.
Danielle
Like, he was. They were so. I'm so happy for them. Like, they. Her wedding. Their wedding.
Brooke
He's, like, a real.
Danielle
He's a cat.
Brooke
Real. A real catch. A real man. Yeah.
Danielle
And she's a cat.
Brooke
I know.
Danielle
And her ring's gorgeous.
Brooke
They're beautiful.
Danielle
No, we need, like, the wedding story.
Brooke
Not to make everything about me, but a woman on the street did yell at Ben and I. She's like, you guys are a hot couple. So. Actually, that was better. That was yesterday. That was better than me.
Danielle
That feels good.
Brooke
It was better than. I was like. I was like, oh, thank you. You just made.
Danielle
No, that's better that.
Brooke
That. Sorry. I had to make everything about Me. But they're a hot couple. That's what made me think of it, because I was like, yeah, they're like a beautiful, beautiful, like, you know, like, real.
Danielle
They look all American.
Brooke
Yeah. Yeah. No, and this woman, like, I feel like I didn't, like, fully hear what she was saying, but then I made out, like, the end of it.
Danielle
I was like, what were you guys doing?
Brooke
We were just walking. We're running our errands. Where were we walking from? We've just been walking all around. Yeah. We've both been trying to get 10k steps. So we're like, let's, like, walk and pick up dinner. You know, like, let's go to the bank.
Danielle
Like, we're. Yeah, well, when the weather's nice like this, too, it's like, let's lean in.
Brooke
Suddenly I see.
Danielle
I saw this. I sent it to Brooke, but this girl posted that one Love island episode is about 13k steps on three speed. And that really made me want to watch on the treadmill. Like, that's smart. Yeah, just put it on your phone. On the treadmill walk.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
13K steps. Hell, yeah.
Brooke
Yeah, I know. And things like that make me want to get, like, the treadmill for my apartment, but I know I'm not going to use it.
Danielle
And I know it for a second. Like, it's nice, but that's if you have a house.
Brooke
Yeah, it's a house thing. I don't need it. I don't need it.
Danielle
Yeah, it just. It's nice during some seasons. And you're like, I'm actually so over it, but we should quickly talk about Love Island. Even though by the time this is up, there have been so many episodes, but I'm. I'm already in.
Brooke
I'm so in.
Danielle
I'm so happy to be. This is my third Love island season, and I'm really happy to be here. So happy you've been watching even longer.
Brooke
I watched it in, like, 2020, like, randomly, because I just had.
Danielle
Not.
Brooke
Like, I was just. They used to like Barrett. Well, it is kind of. Big Brother is also another reality TV show on cbs, and they used to have it on CBS before it was on Peacock. So it was like. It kind of, like, went into it. So I was like, oh. And it was like, Covid. I literally had nothing going on. I lived in the city by myself. I was like, sure, I'll watch it. Sure. And it was bad. It used to be really bad. Like, I feel like they completely, like, redid it because it was like, cut for tv. So they Couldn't, like, curse or, like, be inappropriate really, or, like, whatever. And now, I mean, they definitely did, like, the kissing challenges and stuff like that. But now everybody just. Ben was watching the beginning with me and he was like, and now they're going to kiss that she's just going down the line. I was like, yeah, no, that's how it goes.
Danielle
Like, they're making out with tongue, too.
Brooke
Yeah, but I don't mind. I'm like, it's hot people. Like, they're beautiful people. They are so. I hate to use word, but they're so confident.
Danielle
They really know. During all of their intros, like, they all just looked so good. Like, dancing in the Ocean. I'm like, I would not look.
Brooke
I know when they're just like child
Danielle
posing in the ocean, you think that
Brooke
they're like, freestyle or they give them some, like, choreo.
Danielle
I always wonder that. Yeah, it's like, so this is going to be the part where it's in Slow mo. We have your name in bold.
Brooke
And, like, they must tell them, like, you know, give it up to the.
Danielle
Yeah, put a fan on. We'll get slow Mo going. Yeah, they must.
Brooke
Right? I feel like they have to kind
Danielle
of, like, it's just so nice to have something to look forward to. Like, tonight we can go home, watch Love Island. Tomorrow night, go home, watch the violence. And it's just the sound is so synonymous with summer now, too. It is like you were outside all
Brooke
day, cozied up, and I. I personally love it. I feel bad for the people who don't like it, but, like, they love. I mean, I feel bad for, like. Like, Ben right now. He's like, oh, I lost you. Like, you know, because he's.
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke
Like, it sucks. Like, I'm like, every night, he's like, you're gonna watch it. Like, I was like, yep, I did last summer. Like, every night.
Danielle
Every night.
Brooke
I don't like watching in the morning. I. Unless I really, really have to. Like, if we have plans at night. But then I see the spoilers on social media.
Danielle
I mean, within seconds of the show ending, they're like, coupled up. I know in feed, I'm like, I might have to mute them sometimes when we're away and stuff. Like Japan.
Brooke
Oh.
Danielle
Oh. It's going to be a big issue while I'm in Japan.
Brooke
You know, it's a lot of content.
Danielle
That's a week I'm going to.
Brooke
Oh, you. You know, sometimes you just have to stop and just not catch up.
Danielle
Or a week later.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
Or like, oh, last night's was really good because there are definitely episodes that are mundane and boring.
Brooke
Yeah, yeah. There's some filler episodes for sure.
Danielle
But maybe you could just say I'll
Brooke
give you a high level catch up
Danielle
option to just watch episodes 12 and 16.
Brooke
Yes, yes.
Danielle
That would be really helpful.
Brooke
You'll probably. I mean that's gonna be like around. It's not gonna be Casa More, but it will be.
Danielle
Can't miss Casa More.
Brooke
It really is just such a good show. I tried to watch the UK one last year but that was a lot to keep up with the two. That's a full time job. Yeah, that's like.
Danielle
That's a lot.
Brooke
That's unemployed like that. And I think I. I do have to go to the bank sometimes.
Danielle
Yeah, you have to go make your will. Yeah. Domestic Park.
Brooke
I have so much to do.
Danielle
You're doing lots of little errands.
Brooke
We are. Because Ben's about to start working. Like I'm.
Danielle
Wait, so we gotta schedule.
Brooke
I feel like an I. I'm gonna have an absent fiance. Not really. But like you know, like that's why I'm like soaking up.
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke
Last. Last lick.
Danielle
Because he starts soon.
Brooke
Yeah. And he's gonna be a resident doctor. I mean, you know from your dad,
Danielle
like, I mean like you're in there.
Brooke
Yeah. It's like people like it's six days a week. I'm like, yeah, yeah. And they're like every week. Yeah, yeah. No, it really is how far in
Danielle
advance he get a schedule for?
Brooke
Sorry.
Danielle
Like a whole year.
Brooke
Yeah. So like I guess it's like the equivalent of like two semesters. So he has his like two blocks of time that he is off. So we have to plan the engagement party kind of around that.
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke
Wow.
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke
Not really. But it would be ideal too. Cuz like I don't want him to like do it on his one day off. No.
Danielle
Actually enjoy it.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
Exciting. I can't get over your mom saying it needs to be consistent but not redundant. Or what did she say about the engagement party?
Brooke
The wedding, the theming. Theming consistent, but theme. Theme. What's the theme of the wedding?
Danielle
That would be a good prank for your mom. Oh, hopefully she's not.
Brooke
Would be though.
Danielle
That would be fun. Funny. Like mom, we haven't talked about like the overarch.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
I just clearly want you to prank someone.
Brooke
Well, and we have to do like I'm gonna do the call with like the planner and Ben. But like it's really. I was like after this did you pick your planner? I did. She said yes to the planner she selected. I didn't sign the contract yet, but I, like, replied to her. I was like, you've been chosen.
Danielle
Oh, my God. Is it like the one you kind of told me?
Brooke
Yeah, yeah. There's one that I just, you know, it's a vibe. They say that you really vibe with your person, so. But I. I picked her and she said yes, so.
Danielle
Amazing. So then you can start talking about venues and timing.
Brooke
Yeah, I think he's gonna be on, like, the first call, but then I don't think he really cares to be involved.
Danielle
Yeah. Like, I think, let me know the need to know.
Brooke
Yeah. And it is, like, ultimately, like, yeah, it's our day. But I think he trusts that I, like, know how to throw a party and stuff, so I think that he. And he knows what we. We have a loose list of, like, you know, must. Must haves.
Danielle
Yeah. Haves. Things that need to be done. Yeah. And you said you might do it in the city or outside. We'll find out.
Brooke
We're gonna find out. You know, somewhere in New York so much. Somewhere in New York. You know, people, like, New Jersey is great options. Like, I don't. I don't really. Not really a Jersey girl, but, like,
Danielle
you know, the engagement party.
Brooke
Oh, the engagement party will be in the city. Yeah. Like, the actual wedding, most likely New
Danielle
York, but yeah, that'd be. For you just be random to get married in New Jersey.
Brooke
I know that's.
Danielle
I like, no ties.
Brooke
And even if the venue is beautiful, like, I like knowing that, like, I got married in New Jersey. Like, that doesn't sit right with me. I don't know how to explain it.
Danielle
Especially being a Long island girl.
Brooke
That's what.
Danielle
Like, if you're a Florida girl getting married in New Jersey and you live in New York City, like, I don't think that's as crazy.
Brooke
No, of course.
Danielle
You know, not that I probably in Jersey either, but, like, I don't know.
Brooke
It's not really. I just had TikTok about a Long island experience that I'm curious if you had growing up, because, like, we talked about how, like, you know, Italian cultures and stuff, but my Italian grandparents would do this thing where they would have people over for coffee and cake. So it'd either be like a midday thing or like a dessert thing.
Danielle
That's so cute.
Brooke
So instead of it being like, you know, oh, come over for dinner. Come over. Like, you know, you'd be like, oh, like. Like, let's gossip. Over, like, coffee and cake. And they. My grandparents would always have an Entenmanns cake out on the counter with, like, with the knife in it, like a butter knife. You know what I mean? So you could like, easily take slice. And it just reminded me of, like, being younger, you know, Like a slice of cake and little gossip and like, a warm coffee. I'm like, I kind of wish I got to experience that, like, as an adult. As an adult. Because that sounds fabulous. Like, come over for coffee and cake coffee.
Danielle
You're making me hungry right now.
Brooke
Maybe we should start implementing that, though. Like, come over for coffee and cake and gossip and piping hot tea.
Danielle
Yeah, and piping hot tea. No, I love that. I actually think that's a really nice idea. Like, come over for dessert. Like. Yeah. Specifically cake. I'm so here for this, like, dot cake resurgence because, like, I'd, like, feel just love cake, so.
Brooke
I like cake too. Have you tried cake cake?
Danielle
No. Have you?
Brooke
No, I don't, but you don't me, though.
Danielle
Didn't you just go to Butterfield?
Brooke
I go to Butterfield all the time.
Danielle
Did you see the dog cake line?
Brooke
They only restock them on, like, certain days. Yeah. And yeah. I mean, it's like a cake with sprinkles on.
Danielle
I think you could just get the box yellow cake from a store, make it and put sprinkles on.
Brooke
I love a box cake. I love. Honestly, I really like, like, a bakery cake. Like, I like going to, like, little cupcake bake shop and, like, getting like, a slice of cake. Like, to me, that's so much more premium than like, a little, you know.
Danielle
Oh, my God.
Brooke
Right?
Danielle
Slice of, like, birthday cake.
Brooke
Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Like Magnolia Bakery. Like, going and getting, like, a slice of cake or a cupcake.
Danielle
A cupcake will do just fine.
Brooke
Yeah. That is gonna hit more than, like, 100%. Not that I'm. I'm sure it's delicious. No.
Danielle
If presented the opportunity. Hey, love to try.
Brooke
Yeah. That's what I feel about it. Like, I'm like, I'll miss. I'll get the next wave. Like, when it becomes more accessible. Yes. It's like dot cake theme, everything.
Danielle
I know. I saw dog cake, coffee or something.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
Someone posted some baker. Yeah, I don't know.
Brooke
I know. I'm like, did they trademark it? Like, can you trademark the tm?
Danielle
Who knows?
Brooke
Not cake.
Danielle
Well, should we end it there on cake?
Brooke
You want to come over for coffee?
Danielle
Yeah, I'm getting hungry for cake now,
Brooke
so maybe we should do like dot cakes.
Danielle
