Danielle
Hey, guys, what's up? Welcome back to Gals on the Go podcast.
Brooke
It's Brooke and Danielle, and I'm feeling a little witchy today.
Danielle
Danielle is in full costume.
Brooke
Happy Halloween, everybody. Brooks in costume, too.
Danielle
This is, like, so my vibe. Like, a subtle costume. And I feel like it's so your vibe to, like, go all out theater kid. Like, are we cosplaying as a witch? Like, I wasn't sure if you were gonna, like, have a different name.
Brooke
Oh. Oh, no. I didn't think that far. I just got really excited when we were talking about, you know, we've never done this before. If you're watching a video, we are dressed up today, kind of.
Danielle
I. I feel we're both wearing black.
Brooke
We both wore all black accessories.
Danielle
It. It's a whole vibe, though, going on. You have gloves. The gloves are really giving. I love them.
Brooke
Happy Halloween.
Danielle
Happy Halloween, guys. What is. What else is there to say? I feel like we came up with the idea last minute. We're like, let's wait.
Brooke
Yeah, well. Oh, yeah. That's what I was saying. We've never, like, we always forget when we're recording. So we record like a week before, usually sometimes sooner. And we'll be like, oh, my gosh, that was going to come out right before Halloween. We should lean in. So we decided to lean in a little at first. Actually. I'm not even gonna say because I think we should still do what I was talking about one day.
Danielle
Oh, 100.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
That doesn't even need to be out. I mean, that could just be what it's.
Brooke
That's what I'm Saying, like, that could be next week. Who knows? And then Brooke was like, let's. We could get like a little something. So I trekked on over. I mean, you were fully about to as well, but I went to spirit Halloween this morning.
Danielle
No, you braved it for both of us. Was it a pro? Was it a big. It was.
Brooke
Well, it was good because I wanted a morning walk, so this was that perfect thing.
Danielle
Great.
Brooke
It. I actually enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Oh, it was nostalgic to go.
Danielle
Tell me about the experience. Was it well stocked? I feel like it was picked up.
Brooke
I know it's not yet. Oh, I don't think the last minute stress people have walked in yet because, I mean, it was also a Monday morning. Like, that was just like, you know, there was no one there, but I walked in and of course, like, immediately there's like those automatic zombie things in your face.
Danielle
Yeah. Smoke machine. Yeah. Welcome.
Brooke
I was probably their first customer because I walked in, like, right when they opened, but they had. Who you gonna call? Ghostbusters and Monster Mash. Those are the two songs I heard while I was in there.
Danielle
I'm telling you, it must be those two on a. Those are like the quintessential Halloween soundtracks, right? Yeah, of course.
Brooke
Oh, my gosh. And Thriller.
Danielle
I'm sure I didn't hear it while Spotify Halloween party.
Brooke
Like, yeah. Like, I feel like when people are having Halloween parties, it's like, what do you play? Like, if you want to get seasonal with it, like, those are the three songs. And maybe like, there's probably more that we don't even know about.
Danielle
If you just search Halloween vibes and like, some of the. Like, you could look up like that, have that tone of like. Is it like the organ that kind of gets.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
Like a horror film vibes.
Brooke
Oh, for sure.
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke
No, it was really fun, though. So Brooke was like, I just want some ears. I'm thinking, like, I'm gonna be a cat, so I'm expecting, like a little section of ears. You guys there were. I had to send you probably, like, five photos.
Danielle
There's a lot to comb through, like, a lot of options to be had. But I trusted one singular photo of these years, and I said, I trust.
Brooke
That's why I took that photo, because I knew you'd want those. So I. To the zoom up of those, you.
Danielle
Could really go for if. Do you want a furry cat, you want a glam cat. That's kind of what I'm channeling today.
Brooke
Brooke went for the glam Cat. And I said, do you want a tail? And Brooke goes, I'm good. Like, did you think I was serious?
Danielle
Yeah, I did. I was like, well, I was not gonna show. Like, I was like, I guess maybe if we're go.
Brooke
No. Since we're sitting.
Danielle
I mean. Yeah.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
So you. You have your hat now I got a hat. Classic. Like, have it in your repertoire.
Brooke
I've never. And I was thinking that I've never been a witch for Halloween before. I feel like everyone. I'm sure. Have you done that before?
Danielle
Yeah. Yeah. One of the most recent years, I feel like. Because once again, you wear all black. You wear a hat.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
You got these tall black boots. Easy costume.
Brooke
We're both in, like, black dresses with black boots. Yeah.
Danielle
Simple. No. Great.
Brooke
I literally went. I knew you wanted to be a cat. I didn't know what I wanted to be. So I just let Spirit Halloween tell me.
Danielle
That's always the. It's a fun game. I've done that in years past, too. I'm like, you know, I guess roulette.
Brooke
Spirit Halloween roulette.
Danielle
That's really funny. You get, like, five costumes, like, absolutely ridiculous. You just, like, spin a wheel or something. That would be kind of fun.
Brooke
It is kind of fun. And I also took a little time to gander over at the costumes area because I was like, what are the 2024 costumes?
Danielle
For kids or for everybody else, really?
Brooke
I just went to the women's section.
Danielle
Yes.
Brooke
And there wasn't anything, like, super crazy standout, like, pop culture. There's a lot of, like, Barbie stuff still. There's some really cute western costumes, but nothing, like, Thought I was like, oh, that's so 2024.
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke
Just kind of bumped about current.
Danielle
Interesting. I feel like you gotta get a little, like, Spirit Halloween is like, the. If you're dressing up as a character. Like, if you're doing something that's, like, easy with accessories, like, you grab. But if it's a more original. It's not gonna be at Spirit Halloween, you know, like, this. Spirit Halloween is the mainstream destination. That's where I shop.
Brooke
But, yeah, they have, like. Or if you need, like, an accessory, like, it's honestly perfect for today if.
Danielle
Like, you want, like. I remember, like, growing up, like, I'd be like, I'm gonna be a nerd. And, like, get, like, the glass.
Brooke
Yeah, exactly.
Danielle
Cowboy hat, whatever. It may be, like, those little things, too.
Brooke
Yeah, no, it was definitely. I definitely was keeping an eye out for our costume if there was any accessories that we needed. But that really Wasn't might be an Amazon thing for us. Yeah. I think you'll need to order.
Danielle
I know, I know. But luckily we got that two day prime.
Brooke
We do get that two day prime. Revolves got that two day shipping. Got people unlock.
Danielle
Like we've got options.
Brooke
We've got options. We've got options. So Happy Halloween to. To everyone.
Danielle
That's the thing about Halloween. That's fun is that like pretty much everybody's out. I know.
Brooke
I was gonna say to all who celebrate.
Danielle
Yeah. There definitely are people who like don't.
Brooke
There's some anti Halloween.
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke
Like people really don't like Halloween. I don't feel like relax and I. I get like the scary part. Like I know some people who get like spooked and like understandable but just stay away from the spook.
Danielle
I. I like cute. I've always said I like, you know, cutesy kitty cat, little girl candy. That energy.
Brooke
Yeah. Cutesy Halloween. I've. Have you ever worn like blood, like fake blood gore vibes fx if you will.
Danielle
I feel like I did vampire at one point but like the, the. It was poorly done. Like it wasn't like, you know, like I got the thing but like the blood of it all. I was like, ah, no, it's too complicated.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
How about you?
Brooke
Same.
Danielle
No. Have no. Like, you know, crazy like head injury.
Brooke
Like the half skeleton? No, no.
Danielle
I don't really ask that or something and it's like, oh God.
Brooke
I'm like, are we still doing that?
Danielle
I know I don't. It's very jarring. But I, you know, go for it.
Brooke
Right here we are saying if you don't like Halloween, you suck.
Danielle
I appreciate the effects of it all. Like that's. I feel like it's a cool way to like express your like makeup. Yeah. Because any other day would be a.
Brooke
Little strange, but yeah, it would be a little strange. So if you just need to get it out one day a year, that is fine. One thing I do not like and I'm so glad I used to live right near where they did the parade. Oh. And it. I was land. I was locked in. I was landlocked. Like I could. It was the last two years. I literally was like getting so much anxiety because you couldn't get anywhere because people are up and down like adults.
Danielle
Like this isn't the kid day of Halloween, was it? Or it was like a little bit around there, right?
Brooke
Yeah. I want us. I think I feel like it was Halloween, but also there's no way around the day. It must be around the day. Because also, it's so wholesome. Going to, like, the West Village. I'm sure Brooklyn has some really cute neighborhoods where the kids are trick or treat. And there's no way that's happening on the same day as this crazy parade that happens down. It's down, like, fifth Avenue or sixth Avenue. I don't know. It was over there, and it was crazy.
Danielle
Did you see the Tompkins.
Brooke
Yes.
Danielle
Square park dog parade?
Brooke
It's so cute.
Danielle
I feel like this is having. I mean, it happens every year, but, like, this year, it's so viral. It's everywhere. The costumes are so cute with the owner and the dog. I saw, like, ET like, they put the dog in the basket and, like, had him, like. Yeah. The person was riding a bike and they were.
Brooke
Wait, that's so cute. I need to, like, go unique.
Danielle
Like, renditions.
Brooke
Yeah. I had our friend, took his dog, and he was Harry Potter.
Danielle
I love that.
Brooke
And his dog's name's Potter, so.
Danielle
Oh, that's adorable. Yeah, I love that.
Brooke
So cute.
Danielle
But how do you hear about stuff like that? Like, I feel like I'm in such a bubble. Like. Like, I feel like I see it afterwards. I'm like, damn, there's a dog parade today.
Brooke
Like, I know, I know. I feel like it's like a lot of people that live over in East Village, like, they know. I feel like we kind of knew what was going on. We lived over there maybe, but, yeah, I never knew. Today's the day we should go watch.
Danielle
Like, you know, like, the marathon, like, the big days in New York.
Brooke
Oh.
Danielle
But, yeah, I feel like for stuff.
Brooke
Like that, I'm not a little more niche. I need to go watch some TikToks, though. I only saw a few, and I definitely scrolled.
Danielle
Oh. It would be very, like, wholesome content for your. We're recording this on a Monday, so. Happy Monday.
Brooke
Happy Monday. No. That would be so fun. Okay, well, we're gonna talk all things hallo past costumes, play some games. We're just having fun. It's like that day when you go to school when it's like, the Halloween.
Danielle
Party day, and you're like, I'm not learning today.
Brooke
Yeah, I'm not. We're gonna roll the TV out. There's.
Danielle
I love when that happens. When the lights go down in the classroom and you're like, oh, yes, yes.
Brooke
I am not practicing cursive today. Like, we're literally just hanging out. My mom brought cookies from Publix. Like, really?
Danielle
It's kind of giving substitute Teacher energy.
Brooke
It is. And that we got a. That's us. You're a substitute. No, honestly, I felt like a. Like a substitute teacher this morning. I was like, I'm.
Danielle
No, I love it. It's like, Danielle's not here. We have Danielle the witch or whatever.
Brooke
It's like, hey, guys, like, I am the fun one today.
Danielle
No, I love it. I feel like I would, like, you know how there was, like, subs that you had, like, good subs and not bad subs, but, like, the ones that were, like, preferred and everything.
Brooke
Yes.
Danielle
I got, like, Ms. Danielle today.
Brooke
She lets us play games.
Danielle
Yes, that sub. Yeah, that's a cool, chill, fun.
Brooke
Oh, for sure.
Danielle
Like, it's definitely versus the one that's, like, more uptight. But, like, I also get it. Like, you got to do your jobs.
Brooke
Yeah. But it's also. I also think about it now as an adult, because I guess we're adults now, and you think about. Oh, my gosh. Well, they were substitutes. They wanted to make sure that they're doing their job.
Danielle
Totally.
Brooke
They didn't want to get in trouble.
Danielle
No, you cannot be too lax.
Brooke
Like, I actually don't know how some of the substitutes were so bad. I know, because that's scary.
Danielle
More chill personality.
Brooke
But, yeah, more chill. A more chill vibe.
Danielle
I feel like I'd be so serious. They'd be like, oh, hey, yeah.
Brooke
No, I'd be like, I. I don't know. Can we ask Ms. Jones, if that's okay? Sorry, it's your day off. Hi. Are we allowed to do this? But before we get any further into the episode, we do need to remind you that the gals are going on tour. Oh, so soon.
Danielle
So soon.
Brooke
Like, actually next week.
Danielle
That's when it begins. That's when our Philly show is. We have a little bit of time in between, like, the two. Those shows. Yeah, it's like Philly one month. New York.
Brooke
Yeah, one month.
Danielle
Like, and then it gets.
Brooke
And then we get into busy, gritty year.
Danielle
Get your tickets, gals, on the Go podcast dot com. Should we list off?
Brooke
Yeah, I'm going to list over mind, because I think people are like, oh, they're not coming near me. And then I. I'm sorry. I hate getting messages. Like, I didn't know you were coming to Cincinnati. Like, we've been there.
Danielle
Or. Or I get the. Are the tickets still available? I'm like, yes, yes, tickets are still available. And, like, maybe you didn't get them when they first came out. Like, get them now. You know, secure the date. For your holiday fun.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
Or your post holiday fun. Like, just do it.
Brooke
I think people are starting to realize, like, oh, my gosh. Like, I need to get my tickets. Like, yes, you do. Because we don't want you to miss out. They're going to be such fun shows. We've started pulling, like, all kinds of fun content for them. So. November 7th, Philadelphia. We're really excited. That's so soon. So seriously, last minute girls night. Highly suggest. December 6th, New York City, big show. January 16th, Irvine, California. I don't know. Next time gals are going out west.
Danielle
No. And this is a risk for the gal. So come out if you're like a west coast listener and you're like, I love. Like, please come.
Brooke
Yeah. We really were scared to go over there for some reason.
Danielle
So we need the right.
Brooke
So, yeah, prove us right because we were like. Or prove us wrong.
Danielle
Yeah, prove us wrong.
Brooke
January 17th, San Francisco. January 23rd, Miami. January 25th, Atlanta. February. Sorry, my gloves are.
Danielle
I was gonna say, are you even able to scroll with these things?
Brooke
I'm wearing mesh gloves right now, you guys. February 13th, a little galentine show in Boston. February 20th, St. Louis. February 21st, Chicago. February 22nd, Cincinnati. March 6th, Houston. And ending it all, March 7th in Dallas.
Danielle
Boom, boom, drop. It's happening. Get your tickets. That's all.
Brooke
And just stay tuned on Gals on the Go podcast, Instagram for all kinds of updates about the shows. Just everything. If there's a little engagement, like if we need some. Some of yalls help.
Danielle
Like, yeah, for sure. Little. We love to, like, involve you guys in the shows. Yeah, it's very. They're very fun. Look, we don't have to commit, you know, Take it from us. Every time we go on tour, I feel like people are always like, wow, I'm shocked. How I think people go in with low expectations and.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
Which is good. No, you know, reasonable expectations. But then let us have some fun.
Brooke
Let us have some fun. Let's all have fun together. Speaking of fun, what is that beautiful drink over there you're drinking?
Danielle
Oh, my gosh. Today's beverage, it's a pumpkin cream cold brew. There's a Starbucks, like, by where we records. Like, and sometimes I'll go, I have, you know, I get a few times a week. The only complaint I have right now is I got a venti and it's low on low ice. Not enough ice to coffee ratio, which some people would say that's good because, you know, you get more coffee. I. The ice is very important to me. In an ice drink. Like, I want to be able to audibly hear it. And like, that's not enough.
Brooke
She's like shaking her head.
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke
Like, I hear the ice.
Danielle
I have like, my sensory things where I'm like, that's like. But I'm not gonna request extra ice.
Brooke
No. Because then they go too hard. Like you some. Like there's no drink. Yeah. Then there's no drink.
Danielle
They have, like, lines. I think that they're supposed to fill it up too.
Brooke
I love.
Danielle
If I drank all this cold brew, I think I would literally go into cardiac arrest. So, like, unfortunately, I can't do that.
Brooke
But, like, that's a cold brew.
Danielle
Yeah. With the cold foam. Oh. And I get. Instead of the vanilla syrup, I get sugar free vanilla syrup. I just feel like it tastes the same. So I just get that one instead.
Brooke
We'll have to do a. A checkpoint at the end of this episode and see how far you've drinking. Because Brooke loves to sip. She's a little sipper.
Danielle
I love a sip.
Brooke
Sippity doo dah.
Danielle
You know, it's a personality thing. Like, some people, they get a coffee, it's gone in two seconds. Some people, they. They're like me. It could be 5pm and maybe I still have that hat. The corner.
Brooke
For sure.
Danielle
Coffee in the corner.
Brooke
Yeah. That was something I used to talk about in our first live show. That was my bit, but we have new bits, so.
Danielle
Yeah, I actually had a bit about you that you plan your Halloween costumes typically in September, but not this year.
Brooke
Not this year. I. It's actually, I feel like so behind because I was like. But I really only. I have one Halloween party. We have one Halloween party. I feel like the last few years, it's like there are so many things.
Danielle
And you got to, like, gear up.
Brooke
Yeah. But no one cares this weekend, so. Or next weekend. That's okay. We have things to do at Verizon.

Danielle
This show is sponsored by Better help. It is the season of masks and costumes. When I'm recording this, it's the week of Halloween. Like, I feel like, you know, we're covering up. Truly. I've been seeing some crazy looks on social media. I feel like it's like, fun to play pretend for a little bit, but, like, you don't want to constantly be feeling like you are hiding behind a mask. I've definitely felt like this in some situations in my life, maybe in, like, a work setting or, you know, with the new people in my life where I can't, like, fully be my full self, you know, and it just. It's not ideal. It's not great. We got to get down to, like, the root cause, because masks should be for Halloween fun and not for our emotions. I love therapy. I actually have therapy today. I'm very excited about it. I feel like sometimes, you know, it could feel like you're bringing up a lot of things to the surface, but, like, kind of working through those things or things that you may not have even known have had such, like, a profound impact on you and kind of uncovering everything. It's all about finding the right fit. So you got to find a therapist that you vibe with. And that's why Better Help is so great. Because if you're thinking of starting therapy, you should give Better Help a try. It's entirely online. It's designed to be convenient, flexible, and suited to your schedule. So you go on, you fill out a brief questionnaire to get matched with a licensed therapist. And I love that you can switch therapists at any time for no additional charge because it. Sometimes it takes a minute to find the right fit. I've gone through a few therapists in my day, and I feel like now I have one that I just. I love her. She gets it. So take off the mask with BetterHelp. Visit betterhelp.comgals today to get 10% off your first month. That's BetterHelp. H-E-L-P.comgals, i feel like you've been keeping busy. So tell me about the dogs. Tell me about the Danielle. I saw her on Friday, and, like, I was like, what are you doing tomorrow? You're like, I think I'm gonna have.
Brooke
A day on Saturday. Yeah.
Danielle
You're talking about.
Brooke
Yeah. I was like, I'm probably gonna be kind of crazy.
Danielle
I have a day. And when Danielle says she's gonna, like, I think that rarely happens.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
I was like, oh, so tell me about your day.
Brooke
It was a lovely day. Where did it start? In my bed. I woke up in my bed. It started around 2. So, you know, I'm not a huge day drinker, but I did have a lot of fun. Went to Amity hall with some friends, and we, like, watched the Alabama game. Alabama lost to Tennessee, which is awesome. But it just makes us as Georgia people look so bad because.
Danielle
I know.
Brooke
I mean, they lost to Vanderbilt too, right? Yes, but we lost to them.
Danielle
I feel like football is completely flipped upside down though. Yes, right.
Brooke
The football is. But it's kind of nice. It's kind of like, oh my God.
Danielle
It'S an even playing field.
Brooke
Yes. Everything's kind of out of whack. Fully went into this Texas game on Saturday thinking we were going to lose. Like, I really tried that whole low expectations thing and it worked because we was great. That was wild that we won. Like, truly did not think that was going to happen. But at the same time I was like, we are going to be so hungry for this win after losing to Alabama. Like, and they came in so hot. Like normally we're second half team and we came in so hard. It was so good. I mean, still things to work on, but like, it was great game and. But I'm not sad like, because Ryan and I were going to go to Austin and one of the reasons we were like, oh my God, we're totally going to lose. And like, that's a bummer of a weekend. But I'm still happy that we were here because it was so fun. We went back to American Whiskey. Good old George Bar.
Danielle
So fun. I saw the aesthetic shot the chandelier, I. I turned him and I was.
Brooke
Like, and here she is.
Danielle
He's like, american Whiskeys.
Brooke
I romanticized the Georgia bar and it.
Danielle
Was a fun bar. I will say that is a fun bar.
Brooke
It is a fun bar. I will say it gets, gets packed. And I kind of like was trying not to go there again because I just thought it was gonna be extra packed. And Ryan was like, unfortunately we have to go to American Whiskey because we haven't lost since. I've gone there. And I was like, that's wrong. We lost Alabama once when we were there. I'll never forget it. He was like, okay, one loss. Like, he literally was so superstitious about it. And at halftime, like a ton of people in our grade were renting out Amity hall. And I was like, I would love to like go see some of them. And it was a challenge. He was like, if we leave and we lose, I'm gonna think it's my fault. I'm like, Ryan, you are not on the team.
Danielle
He, he might be an honorary member at this point though. I was gonna say how happy was, was he with the win. He must have had an amazing night after that point.
Brooke
Yeah, we literally just went in, ate pizza, and went home because we were so exhausted, like, watching those games, you know, it tires you out.
Danielle
Well, you're. Because you're up, you're down, you're. Yeah.
Brooke
You're glued and. Yeah. So. But it was a great game. And go Dogs. Truly. And we have a bye week. This past weekend, as this episod up, we had a bye week, so there's no game. Like, Brooke, I have zero plans this weekend. Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
Danielle
You just had a no plan weekend. It's kind of a nice reset. So maybe. And things always fill in for you.
Brooke
You'll be gone. What am I.
Danielle
Well, things fill in for you.
Brooke
Well, you know what I really want to do is I want to do something like, I kind of want to rent a car and like, see some foliage.
Danielle
You should. This is the.
Brooke
Should I go?
Danielle
This is the weekend to do it. You can go.
Brooke
Who's got the leaves?
Danielle
No, no, Got him. Yeah, Upstate, like past Westchester, I would say, like, you know, or nor even like northern Westchester until, like, I mean, how far, like, are we talking overnight?
Brooke
Oh, yeah. I. I don't know.
Danielle
No, no, two hours is fine. You could do that in a day trip.
Brooke
I was thinking day trip.
Danielle
That's fine. Yeah. Drive up some leaves, pick like a destination. Be like, we're going to this like, pumpkin patch or this orchard.
Brooke
Like, have somewhere to go.
Danielle
Yeah. Like, you know, Katie would choose a thrift store. Like somewhere that's like, that's where we're going. And then like, drive up and down.
Brooke
I was.
Danielle
I think it gives you, like, something to like.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
Know that, like, you could take your pictures there, you know?
Brooke
Yeah, that's really true.
Danielle
Tick tock is so helpful for stuff like that.
Brooke
I just need to go to TikTok.
Danielle
Go to the spookiest town, Sleepy Hollow or whatever those places are.
Brooke
Yeah, okay. That might have to happen because that just sounds so lovely. How was your weekend?
Danielle
My weekend was great. I had a very grandparent heavy weekend. You did? No, it was very. Lots of grandparents.
Brooke
Multiple.
Danielle
Yeah. So my. My grandma is in town. She was visiting my parents on Long island. And then the whole idea was that she wanted to come see, like, my apartment, of course. And see that for the day. So she came out with my parents and they came for lunch and she was just so happy. She was taking pictures of quite literally everything to the point that we had to like, actually take her phone out of her hand because, like, she's taking pictures of like, these rooms and I'm like, grandma there's children. Like, you can't be, like, taking, like, in the amenities.
Brooke
Oh, in your amenity store.
Danielle
Ye. No, in the amenity. Like, you know, we're in the pool, and she's like, what a. Oh, my God. Taking pictures with grandma. There's children in the pool. You cannot be taken.
Brooke
It's a little creepy.
Danielle
Oh, yeah.
Brooke
She wants to show her friend.
Danielle
She wants to go home and look.
Brooke
Where my granddaughter lives.
Danielle
Yes, totally. And have that experience which, like, you know.
Brooke
Does she have an accent? I just gave her one. Sorry.
Danielle
A little bit. It's like. It's almost like a Brooklyn accent, though. Like, it's, like, you know, one of the, like, vowels, and.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
I don't know. It's different than the Long island accent.
Brooke
Okay.
Danielle
But she's lived many places, so it's, like, a little bit of everything. Yeah. I, like, said in a vlog, I was like, I want to make it up to Maine. And people like, well, you have to, like, why wouldn't you? And I knew that my grandma's coming, so I got, like, it's. It's not necessarily. She also goes. She leaves for the winter and, like, goes to. She's still, like, so mobile. Like, I love it. I love how she, like, lives her life to her fullest, which is amazing. She goes to Portugal for, like, three months in, like, from. Yeah. Like, mid December through, like, March.
Brooke
Because you can't really.
Danielle
I mean, you can live in Maine, but, like, she's 82 years old. Like, she doesn't need to live in Maine in the winter and, like, be shoveling her driveway. Like, what?
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
And it's, like, rural Maine. Like, I know Ryan's grandparents live in, like, more rural Maine.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
Like, remote.
Brooke
Yeah. I don't. Yeah. They. They be moving to cold places.
Danielle
Yeah. Yeah. And. Which is lovely, like, some of the year. Yeah. So got to see her. And then it also landed on the same day that Ben's grandparents were having their. Wait for it. 65th wedding anniversary.
Brooke
Wait for it.
Danielle
Wait for it. Because that's just, like, I started thinking about it. Oh, anniversary, anniversary. 65 years of marriage. Like, the fact that they're both healthy together, happy, like, oh, my God.
Brooke
It's so special.
Danielle
So special. It was very. Emotionally. Some people were crying in the speeches. You know, they had. It was so sweet. They loved their grandkids, like, just so much. And they had. They had all the. Their two sons gave speeches. Then the grandkids speak, like, so Ben gave me. Yeah. Yeah.
Brooke
So cute.
Danielle
So cute. His Ben has a cousin who's 16 and he gave a speech and it rhymed. No, it was.
Brooke
The creativity is unreal.
Danielle
It was amazing. I love like that was the whole thing too. They were like, it's so nice to get together for like happy events.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
Like I. Yes, so true. Celebrating anniversaries.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
Birthdays, all of these things because, you know, it brings everybody together in a happy way.
Brooke
I really like that message. I've never been to someone's like anniversary. Me neither. Have your parents ever done something?
Danielle
No, I don't. I actually don't even know how many, like, I'm like bad at keeping track of like the year.
Brooke
That would.
Danielle
That.
Brooke
Yeah, that'd be a lot for you.
Danielle
No, but I think you're supposed to.
Brooke
No, you know, I'm sure. Yeah, you were supposed to.
Danielle
I don't know. Some people, like, I think they have. Yeah. I think it's a personal thing, kind of to keep track of yourself.
Brooke
Yeah. And then you can update the others like, oh, Brooke. Letting you know.
Danielle
Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's been this many years.
Brooke
Yeah. That's really so special though. A very wholesome for you.
Danielle
Yeah. Lots of family time. And then Sunday, I feel like I rotted. It was like one of those days where it was like, you know, I did my morning walk, went to a new bagel place.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
Like sat the rest of the day.
Brooke
I'm sad. I. Yes. That's the best. I rotted too.
Danielle
You did.
Brooke
Until 2pm in my bed.
Danielle
Wow.
Brooke
I wasn't even hungover. Caitlyn FaceTime me. She goes, are you? Because I had saw her then I for. She was like, are you hungover? I was like, no. Just been laying here on TikTok. I've been in deep. I have. There's two things that I randomly do. I watch live streams that you've done too on TikTok live of people like at Disney just like walking around.
Danielle
I've been on. I see the New York City ones all the time now. Walk and talk through New York City.
Brooke
Oh, you must have clicked on one.
Danielle
It's like midtown Manhattan. Walk and talk.
Brooke
And it's usually like in the morning, in the morning square.
Danielle
No one's there. It's like.
Brooke
So yeah, yeah.
Danielle
What else? You see the walk and talks of Disney and what else?
Brooke
And I have been watching the Taylor Swift eras lives.
Danielle
You watch them.
Brooke
I'm like that girl right now.
Danielle
Okay, so. But that's only on the weekends. During the night.
Brooke
Yeah, yeah.
Danielle
So yeah.
Brooke
But this past weekend, Friday, Saturday. No, not Friday. Saturday. And no, no. Friday and Sunday night, I was, like, watching the Live.
Danielle
Like, you propped it up and.
Brooke
Yeah, I propped up mainly because I wanted to see the surprise songs and I just wanted to be a part of it.
Danielle
But, like, are they, like, handheld or they, like, on a tripod?
Brooke
Some have tripods, some have handhelds or something else I've been watching are people. Like, this one girl lives in New York and she has, like, a ton of monitors behind her and she's, like, commentating on it. Like, I am just finding this so interesting. Like, oh, guys, it's the new Rep bodysuit. Or, oh, you know, she's. Please let it be the all green 1989 outfit. I'm still learning what all that means.
Danielle
The costumes.
Brooke
Yeah. Like, and that meaning.
Danielle
Oh, it all is meaning.
Brooke
I think all green meant it was gonna be like, rep is coming. But then she came out and she was wearing green skirt, orange top. So it was like this whole thing. So I've been really, like, I'm. I truly have been so interested in it, and I think what Taylor has created is absolutely amazing.
Danielle
I did see a lot of. I got a lot of Eras content. I got a lot of people very upset that Influencers went to the Arrow yeah concert. I. Wow, that was crazy.
Brooke
Yes, I know.
Danielle
Backlash about that.
Brooke
A lot of backlash about that.
Danielle
But, like, you would go to. If you remember that's the thing. Like, I mean, it would go to even deep. Deep Taylor fan or not, you get invited to Aristore. Free ticket, free plane ticket, free hotel. You're gonna.
Brooke
You. I'm sorry, you're gonna go? Like, like, you're gonna go.
Danielle
I mean, I like, Taylor, we already went to the car. But, like, I. I would go, too.
Brooke
Yeah, you would go.
Danielle
100.
Brooke
I actually wasn't. Yeah, you were invited, but I didn't go because of the dogs. Like, that's crazy. But don't worry, because I haven't. Why I told you.
Danielle
Oh, yeah, Big enough.
Brooke
Delaney. And I. Delaney calls me and she goes, danielle, like, I can't do it anymore. I. I can't. I can't not see Eras tour. She. Because her excuse was. She was like, I've seen the movie. I've seen it all online. And she's like, I have to experience it. Like, will you please do this with me? And I'm like, twist my arm. Twist.
Danielle
I've been waiting for someone.
Brooke
I've been waiting for one more chance. So we are going to Eras in Indiana.
Danielle
I'm so excited for this experience for you.
Brooke
It's Gonna be a quick trip.
Danielle
It's Indianapolis, right?
Brooke
Indianapolis.
Danielle
Honestly, a great city. I. I like it.
Brooke
I was briefly, but yeah, it's good.
Danielle
I think the airport's, like, right there. Like, it's convenient.
Brooke
Oh, yeah. I go every year. Oh, yeah. So I'm well versed in the. In Indiana, and we went when we went to the national championship too, so. I just love Lucas Oil Stadium, you know, got there juju there. But yeah, so Delaney and I are gonna go. Well, we haven't got tickets, by the way. All we've done is book plane tickets. Because Lainey was like, if I buy the plane tickets, I'll get locked in. And then, like, I had told her when Kenzie and I went to London night or whatever, like the last. Or our last night there, we bought them last minute and the prices went half. Half the price the day up. However, I don't know, now I'm seeing Miami. A lot of people caught on to this. And even, like, halfway through the show, tickets were still really expensive. So I don't know. I hope Delaney didn't see those Tiktoks, because she's probably getting a little. I'm definitely getting a little nervous, but we just have to go. So we're gonna go to night three. We're gonna. Cause we have, like, Halloween festivities next weekend, so we're gonna fly in on. It's a little risky. We're gonna fly in on Sunday morning and go to night and fly out Monday morning. So we're gonna be great.
Danielle
No, I think it's pretty much. I mean, if you look ahead at.
Brooke
The weather, as long as weather's permitting, we can always change our flight to Saturday night if. Yeah, but I was just kind of hoping for a Saturday rot after Katie's party. Valid, so.
Danielle
And then one last night at the hotel. One.
Brooke
Yeah, we're not. And. Oh, and that's. We're not even staying at a hotel. Her family lives there.
Danielle
Oh, perfect.
Brooke
So that's why this was kind of justified. We're like, okay. Like, we won't be paying for a hotel.
Danielle
That's a big justified.
Brooke
I'm really trying to, like, match with her. Not, like, actually match, but we're trying to, like, maybe be the same era.
Danielle
That's great.
Brooke
Want to be the same era. I need to redeem myself because people were really unhappy with my outfits in London. So I need to redeem myself. I wore a sparkly tank and jeans.
Danielle
And people felt, oh, like it wasn't, like, enough.
Brooke
And you know what? Yes. But the first Time we went. I went full on stuff. Now we did. We went out. We went all out.
Danielle
We had stuff in our hair. Yeah.
Brooke
So I was trying to be like, yeah. So now I'm gonna do one last hurrah. I'm really, I'm really excited though. I'm really so excited. It'd be so fun to experience with Delaney. I'm fully gonna be taking videos of her. Just like her reaction, like. So I'm really excited.
Danielle
You guys are gonna have a blast. You've been trying to go again. I feel like you've been trying. You. You once again. You tried me one more time.
Brooke
You're like, I know.
Danielle
One more time. Bring her home one more time. That's great. I've been enjoying that. That content as well. Not that I'm not that deep, but like I have been seeing.
Brooke
Because it probably hasn't popped up, but once one pops up, you click on it. There's just so many.
Danielle
I'm more in like getting ready for Eric. Like, I.
Brooke
Yes.
Danielle
I love hairstyles and the. That stuff.
Brooke
It's just an exciting time and I'm gonna miss when it's all over.
Danielle
True.
Brooke
Like, it's over, I think at the end of this year.
Danielle
And then she's taking him. Yeah.
Brooke
Then she's gonna maybe get married. Who knows? I don't know.
Danielle
You think?
Brooke
I don't know.
Danielle
I don't know. Maybe you're like, you Taylor Swift, like predictor. You start doing the comment you have all.
Brooke
Next you're gonna be like, wait, is that Danielle right now?
Danielle
Next thing we know, it's like, hey, guys, welcome back T585.
Brooke
Oh, my God. No, it really might happen. So I don't know. It's. It's a really fun thing. And I forgot my friendship because so many people bring us friendship bracelets to go.
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke
I don't know if they meant for them to be friendship bracelets or not, but so many people have made us. I was going through my collection. Gotg. Don't text. Like, yeah, I have so many. And I forgot to bring them to London. So I'm excited to bring them to Indiana. So, like, let's. Let's trade bracelets.
Danielle
I've always wanted. Oh, that's so cute.
Brooke
And I remember we went to MetLife. Like, I don't think we had any. And someone gave us MetLife one.
Danielle
It was so sweet.
Brooke
So shout out to you.
Danielle
I love.
Brooke
Do you have a current favorite?
Danielle
Yeah, I do, I do.
Brooke
Why don't you share it with us?
Danielle
So in My rot day yesterday. My rot. I watched. I just needed something, like, light, happy, you know, like, we. I was just like, could we watch something, like, funny and, like, you know, it took a few tries. We tried some things that didn't. Didn't quite land.
Brooke
Yeah, that happens.
Danielle
Yeah. But then we landed on the show. It's an old show, Nathan, for you. Have you ever heard of this? No. Have you heard of it? Yeah.
Brooke
Oh, my gosh.
Danielle
Nathan Fielder. So he's like a comedian. I. At first, I, like, didn't get the bit. I was like, is this him or is he acting like, what is it?
Brooke
Oh, I love it already.
Danielle
Like, I think that is his bit.
Brooke
Okay.
Danielle
So the bit is that he's like, oh, but he's really dry. Really, really dry. And, like, the humor is more like uncomfortable humor. Like, he makes people, like, he just picks out the craziest people. The people on this show are absolutely nuts. He's supposed to help, quote, struggling businesses, and he gives them the most, like, ridiculous ideas and, like, how to improve their services, essentially.
Brooke
And he's being serious, or you don't know.
Danielle
Like, it comes across like he's being serious, and some of them actually, like, quote that, like, take his ideas and then, like, you see them. But, like, I think it's because he gets people that are, I don't want to say vulnerable, but, like, willing to, like.
Brooke
Like, we'll do anything.
Danielle
Yeah. Like, do the bed or something. Yeah. I. I can't even explain it. We. I think we jumped into, like, either season two or three. Like, and you don't have to watch them in order. There's no the order.
Brooke
Oh, I like that.
Danielle
It is just so I.
Brooke
You have to go home and what is it on?
Danielle
I watch on HBO Max. It's literally from, like, 2013 or something. Ben was like, oh, I used to watch the show, like, put it on it. I was audibly, like, at one point, I was, like, gasping for air. Like, I was like, it's so funny.
Brooke
Oh, my God, I need to write this down.
Danielle
Yes.
Brooke
For you.
Danielle
I'm trying to think, like, I, I me explaining it's not going to be as good. There was one episode where. Did you ever hear. I literally watch videos about this in, like, my marketing classes. Dumb Starbucks. Did you ever hear about this?
Brooke
No.
Danielle
Like, it was like a parody of, like, Starbucks. Basically. He started because you can create, like, a something that's very similar. I'm literally drinking Starbucks. You can create a something that is a parody of something so that he was able to use Essentially the same Starbucks logo but wrote like dumb in front of everything. So it's like a dumb venti. A dumb grande dumb whatever. Like. And he opened up this place in LA and it literally caught, like, major attention. But it was all joke. Like, I. That's all that I can say. You have to watch it.
Brooke
Wow.
Danielle
So funny.
Brooke
This is getting, like, in the club. We're all fit.
Danielle
Yeah. Yeah.
Brooke
And I'm like, what?
Danielle
I love the dry humor. Like that type of humor where you're like, oh, my gosh. Like, he just sits. Like it makes people feel uncomfortable. And he's like, okay.
Brooke
Yeah. Sitting here like, that's a good show. I feel like to watch with your partner too. This sounds perfect.
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke
Well, thank you for that.
Danielle
I know. Yeah. So lighten your mood this Sunday. Lighten your mood, Nathan.
Brooke
For you, tm.
Danielle
Yeah. How about you?
Brooke
Mine is so different. Mine's a product, but no, that's why. That's what the show's all about.
Danielle
Exactly. You get variety around here.
Brooke
Variety.

Brooke
Mine is. Have you ever tried the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Skin Serum?
Danielle
Actually, I don't think so. Maybe.
Brooke
Kat has definitely used it on doing your makeup. And I really love it. I just got the big bottle, as you would say, a vat of it.
Danielle
Oh, that's so fun.
Brooke
And it's the perfect. I feel like I'll do my skincare in the morning and then like, maybe I don't do my makeup just yet. And then it's like a couple hours later and it's like, okay, I'm doing my makeup. I don't. I feel weird just putting like, stuff dry on my skin. Like I gotta like, raw dog, if you will. You know, I need like something, you know, make a little glow under your foundation, whatever, maybe. So I've been using the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Skin Serum. I don't know what it is. The smell I love. It's not like this amazing smell. Just like, it reminds me of getting ready. Yeah, it, it's not too oily or anything. It's very light. But it just allows your makeup to apply really nicely. And I highly suggest that it kind of acts as a primer for me. Me love, love it. Love that I got the mini size for my makeup bag. It's just a great.
Danielle
Love it.
Brooke
So go. Yeah, go Charlotte Tilbury. So do you want to play a quick game of Halloween this Or that I'm.
Danielle
I'm so in.
Brooke
Okay, do it. Here we go. Yeah, it's like silly fun stuff I sourced from, like, sourced.
Danielle
Is it like one of those, like, teen magazines?
Brooke
Totally. It's like perhaps the graphic. Like, it's so like I literally copied and pasted into my note.
Danielle
I love it.
Brooke
Okay. This or that. Halloween edition. Sour candy or chocolate candy.
Danielle
I just read an article about how me. I just read. I actually read the article.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
Did you watch TikTok the article? Because like, I follow, you know, Washington Post, like, whatever. And it was like how chocolate is out. Gummy is in.
Brooke
Oh. Like trend wise, like universally.
Danielle
And I feel like I've seen that.
Brooke
And I mean, I've always been that way.
Danielle
And I agree actually in recent reason.
Brooke
Really?
Danielle
Yeah. But that was a shift for me as well. I feel like I changed. So you feel the same?
Brooke
Yeah, definitely.
Danielle
More source.
Brooke
Like refreshing.
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke
But chocolate's fun.
Danielle
It feels like candy. Like, you know, like I'm indulging in candy.
Brooke
Yeah. It's like colorful because chocolate you might have throughout the year candy. I mean, not that you don't have sour candy throughout the year, but candy is like it.
Danielle
It feels like you're a kid. Like.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
Candy. It's like the nostalgia of like the. I agree.
Brooke
Okay, cool. So we're aligned. Buy a costume or make a costume. Let's say spirit of Halloween or like, like.
Danielle
Oh, okay.
Brooke
Okay, let's do that.
Danielle
Cuz, like, did you have a mom that like made you your Halloween house?
Brooke
No.
Danielle
No. Me neither. Yeah. I mean, they did great.
Brooke
They did the.
Danielle
They did great.
Brooke
But they did other things.
Danielle
They weren't sewing.
Brooke
They were. I didn't ask. I loved when we were younger, like going to the Halloween store and picking out your costume for the year. So fun.
Danielle
Same energy as Valentine's. For Valentine's Day. The pack of Valentine's you get really defines your. That's like your personal brand for your school. Yeah.
Brooke
It's like this is my personal branding.
Danielle
I'm doing like, like the.
Brooke
For sure. So I. I feel like we both in the last few years have like diy, like not. Yeah. Diy.
Danielle
Thought of something that's a little more original and put together the pieces. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Brooke
And it's not even. Maybe it is something that they offer at spirit Halloween or something like that, but you want your own pieces. Like it fits you better. It's more flattering usually.
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke
Okay, cool. Oh, trick or treat. I. I've always been a treat girl.
Danielle
I'm a treat But I know you like a prank, so I don't know, maybe you are a trickster.
Brooke
I don't know. It's like, so funny. Growing up, I remember one time we were. We were trick or treating and they were like, I'm gonna give you a trick. And we're like, ah. It was like, the scary man.
Danielle
And they didn't give you any.
Brooke
And then he was like, just kidding, I'll give you a treat. But I. And that's when. That was a moment in my life where I was like, you could get a trick instead of a treat.
Danielle
That's. Wow. I don't think I ever really put that into context. I feel like I. Because it's not a calm. That's like, same energy as coal for Christmas. Like, yeah. I was like, you could, but, like, who would?
Brooke
But, like, that's so.
Danielle
That's criminal.
Brooke
That's season.
Danielle
That's horrible.
Brooke
No, that's rude.
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke
Alien or mummy?
Danielle
I feel like I'm an alien girly mummy's mommy's a little skewy.
Brooke
Yeah, I'm going alien.
Danielle
You are? Yeah, yeah.
Brooke
Potion or spell? Well, we know how you feel.
Danielle
Potion or spell? I feel like a spell. I feel like that's like, more practical magic.
Brooke
I would recommend to start with a spell and then go to potions.
Danielle
That's a more elegant way.
Brooke
Yeah. Walk through cobwebs or drink a witch's brew.
Danielle
Walk through cobwebs. Actually my worst nightmare. Like, I hate everything about.
Brooke
I can just picture you. It's like when a bug flies on you.
Danielle
Yep.
Brooke
You don't vibe with that?
Danielle
No. We have cobwebs apparently, like, in our plants, like, because, you know, they have, like, little bug, like.
Brooke
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Danielle
Ben's friend yesterday was like, you guys got some spiders in here. I was like, now I can never water the plants ever again.
Brooke
Yeah. Now I'm so scared. Constant that.
Danielle
So what was the other one?
Brooke
Or drink a witch's brew.
Danielle
I mean, that sounds delicious. What are you serving up?
Brooke
I'll do. I'll do some mock witches brew for you. You know, like a mocktail. Oh, carve a pumpkin or paint a pumpkin.
Danielle
I like the idea of the carve, but it's so messy. It's so messy.
Brooke
You, like, really do know.
Danielle
And it rots.
Brooke
It rots.
Danielle
Neither for me this year. How about you?
Brooke
I carve because I want the seeds to cook them in the oven because pumpkin seeds are so good with little salt on them. But in college, we painted pumpkins and it was fun and it's not messy.
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke
But I have a pumpkin in my apartment right now, so.
Danielle
What are you gonna do with it?
Brooke
I'm gonna carve it. I don't know if I'm gonna, like, do a design, but I'm gonna open it up and get those seeds out.
Danielle
That's so witchy of you.
Brooke
So witchy. We'll do one more. Are.
Danielle
These are fun. I like them. They're very.
Brooke
Oh, you do? Okay. Yeah, we'll do a few more, then. Turn into a vampire or turn into a werewolf.
Danielle
Yeah. I feel like I was always team. I. I didn't get so deep into Twilight, but I was vampire for sure.
Brooke
Yeah. Well, werewolves are like. Yeah.
Danielle
They have better PR. Because they have all those shows.
Brooke
They have better pr.
Danielle
They do, because they have adult shows. They have True Blood. Like, they got, like, the shows and then what was that other one that freaking, like, Nina dobrush Rev was in or something?
Brooke
Higher Diaries.
Danielle
Yeah. I never watched that, but she. That was, like, big.
Brooke
Yeah, you're right. They do have better pr. Candy corn or Tootsie Rolls?
Danielle
Candy corn. Under protest.
Brooke
I was gonna say. Can I say neither?
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke
Yuck. I used to like Tootsie Rolls a lot when I was younger. Really? But now it's like, they're so chewy.
Danielle
I feel like they'll take out my teeth, even though they're all real. Like, if you have fake teeth, I feel like you have to be careful about what.
Brooke
Yeah, you do, right?
Danielle
Like, if you have veneers, can you eat a Tootsie roll? Being dead?
Brooke
0 comment down below. Yeah, Let us know. Okay, last one. Actually. Haunted house or graveyard?
Danielle
No, literally, neither.
Brooke
Like, really?
Danielle
Take me out. Like, honestly, like, have you.
Brooke
So you've never. Obviously, because you didn't live in Florida, did, like, the Halloween horror night.
Danielle
Yeah, I know. You're like.
Brooke
I don't particularly like that. No, but it was. Oh, my God. It was the nostalgia of, like, going with your middle school crush. And, like, I'm scared. Like, but I wasn't cute because I would literally just, like, dig my head into their shoulder the whole time because I was so scared. Weird.
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
I hate everything about that graveyard.
Brooke
For sure. North.
Danielle
Yeah. That's. Nor. That's, like, actual practical fear. Like, for real.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
Especially at night. Like, I mean. Well, during the day, obviously.
Brooke
It'S fine, I guess.
Danielle
No, you have to. I mean, like, a graveyard.
Brooke
I think this means, like, during Halloween.
Danielle
Yeah. I'm picturing, like, at, like, dusk with the smoke in the air and. Yeah.
Brooke
No.
Danielle
Yeah. No, I. I don't know, I'm not a scary movie person. I'm not. I don't like to be scared. If I'm gonna be scared, I want to be scared. Like on a roller coaster or like.
Brooke
Yeah, like thrill, thrill.
Danielle
That's what it is.
Brooke
Oh my God. That just gave me so much life with my gloves. Yeah. No, but one day.
Danielle
Are you gonna wear this the rest of the day?
Brooke
No, I didn't even wear them here. I wore a commuter outfit here.
Danielle
Because you were. If you see this wood walking down.
Brooke
No, I can't. My doormen already are just like, like, what's going on with this girl? Actually the other day I was walking out of my apartment. I think my doorman saw me in five different outfits in under an hour. Cuz I was filming a video.
Danielle
Were you with someone else?
Brooke
I was with.
Danielle
That's fair, that's fair.
Brooke
But like, you know, it definitely happened. And finally on the fourth outfit, I'm walking back in, I have one more outfit to go. And my doorman goes to Neil.
Danielle
Come here.
Brooke
If you go. If you're looking for a good place to take a photo, go up to this street. At the end there's this huge wood panel. I think it would be great for a photo.
Danielle
That's so considerate of them. Did you use.
Brooke
Well then I was like, okay, like I can't.
Danielle
Gotta check it.
Brooke
Because we're gonna come back in and he's gonna ask how. Yeah, so we found it. It was literally giving one hotel. Like he honestly, I'm vibes. It was totally the vibes. But it was like so cute. He's like, he like addressed it in a good way. Wasn't like, oh, there's another. He was like, if you're looking for a good go to the street.
Danielle
He sees your hustle and he respects it. Yeah, I appreciate.
Brooke
Have you had that yet with your dormant of like going up and down in different outfits?
Danielle
No, I've definitely had different outfits. And they've seen me in all forms.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
You know, they see me in raw form, pimple patches, etc, and then they've seen me in like glam form and.
Brooke
They'Re like, I'm confused.
Danielle
Yeah. Where is you? Somewhere in the middle. I did tell you. Did I tell you that? My package guy?
Brooke
Yes, yes. But you need to tell the audience.
Danielle
Well, you know, he's not sure what I do for work yet and I really want to tell him what I do, but every single time I go, there's always like a line of people behind me. And I just don't want to explain.
Brooke
To the whole group.
Danielle
Oh, like, I'm just not there. I'm just not there.
Brooke
No. If there's an audience, I would. Wouldn't want to either.
Danielle
It's always a line, so. But he. He throws out these guesses. He likes to. You know, the first he said, are you a doctor? And then he said, oh, you're a nurse. I was like, no. Recently, I went down in my sweat. My Mayfair group sweatset. No makeup, pimple patches go down. I was like, oh, get my packages. He's, like, scanning them out, and he's like, are you a model? I was so flat. I mean, I'm riding this high still. Yeah. That is so cute, Truly.
Brooke
What did you say?
Danielle
I. I didn't. I was like, no. Like. But I didn't say, like, not affirm.
Brooke
No, like, it was a song.
Danielle
No.
Brooke
You're close.
Danielle
You're close. You're getting warmer. Yeah. Try again tomorrow because one guess.
Brooke
It's your new guessing game. Oh, my God.
Danielle
So everyone's like, please just let him know. I know. I. I really need to. I just. Like, we need. It needs to be the right moment. Like, I. I, like.
Brooke
Did people hear him say, are you a mom?
Danielle
100. He spoke with projection. Are you.
Brooke
He enunciated.
Danielle
Are you a model? Like, it was like, no. And then. But then he. I think now he just thinks I like clothes. He's like, you're like my sister. You like clothes? And I'm like, exactly.
Brooke
Yep. I just shop all the time.
Danielle
I love clothes.
Brooke
Oh, because you think he's saying all this because of all the packages you're getting or just because of your schedule?
Danielle
Yeah. He's so confused. He's so. It just doesn't make sense. And then he sees Ben and scrubs. He's like. Like, you know, I don't think it's adding up.
Brooke
Like, we're gonna need an update. Every time there's an update, you have to. God, that's so funny.
Danielle
I know. I feel rude, though, with the guessing game.
Brooke
No, it's definitely hard. It's definitely hard. Okay, so should we go through some of our past costumes?
Danielle
Costumes?
Brooke
I don't know. Like, I've. I've known you for a long time, but still not your whole life. Like, I don't know, like, my back.
Danielle
My. Yeah, I'm a bit of the backstory.
Brooke
I have heard that. Surprisingly, I'm, like, using my knuckle to go on my phone. Well, do you have childhood?
Danielle
Yeah. How far deep are We. I mean, I don't have every single year. Like, I truly. I feel like there's like, erased years of my life. I'm like, we. The. I will say the years in between film and digital. Like, I feel like there was a few years in between there that we switched, like, some digital cameras. They're somewhere. I don't know where.
Brooke
Yes. Yeah, you. I'm sure if you went home, you.
Danielle
Could like, like early middle school years because, like, then I started documenting my own. Right.
Brooke
Yeah, that's so true.
Danielle
Because yours. I know your family has all of your files, like, very organized, right? Like, digitally organized.
Brooke
Yeah. Luckily, I was able to go on Amazon photos, but still, he didn't have every year because I didn't know how to search it. I was just searching the month of October and trying.
Danielle
Because it's not on Halloween. Precisely.
Brooke
No, the iPhone. You can say like, costume or Halloween and it kind of. Yeah, yeah, the AI is good, but we don't have to do in anything in order. We can just say, like, some costumes. We've been in the past.
Danielle
As a kid, were you very classic costumes?
Brooke
Like, yeah, I'd say so. You too?
Danielle
More characters, I guess. Like, character of the times. Like, okay, my youngest costume. I was a Teletubby. They put me in, like, I have a picture. We could put these in the newsletter. So subscribe.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
Substack.
Brooke
Yes. For the visuals.
Danielle
Yes. Like, but it. You know, me and like, a onesie color.
Brooke
Do you remember?
Danielle
I have. I have a photo. Let me pull it up.
Brooke
That's so. No, yeah, same.
Danielle
How about you? You were Teletubby too?
Brooke
No, but I was a pink Power Ranger.
Danielle
Great costume. Great costume.
Brooke
I know.
Danielle
That was. That was so like, the times.
Brooke
Wait, can you show me? Can we show each other?
Danielle
Oh, my gosh.
Brooke
Cute.
Danielle
Wait, I saved it the other day. Hold on. My mom, like, sent me pictures of pictures, you know.
Brooke
Oh, hey, whatever.
Danielle
Like, I'll take whatever you got. Yes. Oh, so I guess pink.
Brooke
Oh, Toby, that's such a, like, vibey photo. It's giving this go before your childage. Yeah, it's really cute.

Danielle

Brooke
That was so, like, the cool girls were doing that like the year before.
Danielle
Is that elementary school vibes?
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
Like, oh, you're so. So the moment.
Brooke
Wearing a glow stick necklace. Like, things are happening.
Danielle
I love that. These are like, when I was very, very young. This was also. I was Tigger. I think. I feel like I was very young. Yeah. Very like Winnie the Pooh.
Brooke
Yeah. I actually don't have like the very young ones. I wonder because that's like your parents put those and put those on you.
Danielle
For sure. Yeah. I feel like I had no choice. Maybe they're like, you know, do you like Tigger? And I'm like, yeah, right?
Brooke
Yeah. Like, they pay attention to like what shows you're watching or books you verbal cues. Yeah.
Danielle
And like some of these are pre speaking. I was probably speaking.
Brooke
Yeah. Pre speaking. I have no idea what this one is. One of them. I think this was like a diva of sorts. It's just like all pink with like mesh. Like, oh, I love snack gloves.
Danielle
I'm curious what the title on because you know how they know. They give the costume some silly names.
Brooke
Yes, they do.
Danielle
Dancing diva.
Brooke
Like, I know. I feel like it was like dashing diva. Yeah. Something diva.
Danielle
That's fun. Yeah.
Brooke
I did a lot of pink.
Danielle
Think. Yeah. That's very Gals in the Go Live show.
Brooke
I know.
Danielle
What else I have Sleeping Beauty. This must have been like kindergarten or something. It's like the classic. No.
Brooke
Oh, wait. You mean. Is that Snow White?
Danielle
Wait, yeah, sorry. I got the so cute Snow White. I lied.
Brooke
Sounds like you're Sleeping Beauty last year.
Danielle
No, I was Sleeping Beauty, like fifth grade. The pink one.
Brooke
Oh, my God. Yeah. What am I thinking? Belle?
Danielle
I know. You know because. Sorry, this is. I'm getting the.
Brooke
Yeah. You have been a lot of characters, huh?
Danielle
What year was it? This was 2,000. 10. 32,000. So I was three.
Brooke
That's so.
Danielle
Wow.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
I can't tell age at all. Is. It's probably six here. Like. No, three.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
There's some Batman and like Pikachu in the background. That's how you know the time.
Brooke
Pikachu.
Danielle
Those are still relevant costumes, though.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
You did get the headband and everything too. You.
Brooke
Oh my God. That's adorable.
Danielle
Accessory pack.
Brooke
I know. Like getting like extension pack for your costume.
Danielle
That's how it's like the base and then I remember.
Brooke
Yeah. It's like. Then you can like get the accessories if you want. Accessories. Not included this one. I was a Bratz doll, of course. And I had, like, a little.
Danielle
Oh, I'm obsessed. Wait, that's a vibe with the palm trees in the background. I'm upset.
Brooke
That was the thing about growing up in Florida. No, I'm says the seasonal photos always, always had a palm tree in the back.
Danielle
That's iconic. Were you. You were Bratz Girl, right?
Brooke
Yes. You were not.
Danielle
I was not.
Brooke
You were.
Danielle
I was Polly Pocket.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
For the most part.
Brooke
What about in high school?
Danielle
I. I wrote down some of these. I was.
Brooke
I, I, I stick middle school. You're right. I have no photos.
Danielle
I know.
Brooke
I'm like, it was that in forgotten.
Danielle
I think it. Because you. Your parents started pictures because you're like, mom, stop taking pictures of me. And, like, you just like, go and take your own with your friend ones.
Brooke
Yeah. And I can't find those. Those were, like, on digital cameras, probably.
Danielle
And these are film.
Brooke
These are. These are digital cameras. No, these are digital cameras, Daniel.
Danielle
On film.
Brooke
Yeah. Middle school or high school? High school. I have some documented. Do you?
Danielle
Yeah, for sure. I feel like I always stuck to what I know, which is like, the basic with the accessories. Like, I did a cowgirl with the plaid. We all did plaid shirts and boots and hats. How about you?
Brooke
High school. I have this picture of me and my friend Lucy. We were thing one and thing two. We also had a dress code, so it's like.
Danielle
You had to wear your college shirt with that?
Brooke
No, but, like, it was very particular on, like, the short, you know, Like, I think you still couldn't. I don't remember the rules, but they definitely let us, like, bend them a little.
Danielle
You were getting pretty crazy there. Yeah.
Brooke
Shorts. I don't know. This year, me and my friends were mermaids.
Danielle
Oh, my God. I'm obsessed.
Brooke
We, like, daily, literally, this is at school. So we had, like, mermaid leggings and these, like, shirts with shells on our boobs. And we were really nervous we were gonna get in trouble.
Danielle
And you didn't.
Brooke
We didn't. I don't. I don't. Not to my knowledge.
Danielle
Wow, that's. That's. You guys are, like, went all out.
Brooke
Well, it was a thing. Oh, my God. Did you guys do, like, rate the costumes? No, we had like, a Twitter. Like, it was like an official Twitter at our school. And they would post, like, you could submit your costume, and if the more likes you get them, like, you would win that day.
Danielle
Oh, my God.
Brooke
And spirit week, too. That was the thing. Yeah. Yeah.
Danielle
You guys had really good Spirit.
Brooke
But we didn't have homecoming king and queen because that was not inclusive. But then we did this, like, I don't know.
Danielle
Oh, that's so interesting.
Brooke
Yeah. What else you got for me?
Danielle
We. We, like, didn't do a big homecoming dance, but we still had king and queen.
Brooke
Yeah, I wish we did. That's so cute.
Danielle
I was an angel. Sophomore year of high school. Like, I got the things I remember, like, running around. We, like, went to my house and then, like, like, didn't sneak out, but, like, we're going out. Like, we're like, drinking in the streets. Like, like, like being s. Calling people, sharing one beer. We're like, I'm going to be crazy.
Brooke
Yeah. I don't remember what we did in high school on Halloween until, like, the later year, like, junior and senior year, but sophomore and freshman year, like, after.
Danielle
The trick or treating era of your life and.
Brooke
Right.
Danielle
Yeah. I feel like it's, like, roamed because, like, people are out, so it's not, like, sketchy to be out because.
Brooke
Yeah, we just roamed.
Danielle
Were you in a trick or treating neighborhood?
Brooke
Yeah, it was fine. I don't think it's a trick or treating neighborhood anymore. So sad. How about you? Yeah.
Danielle
Yes. My block still is. Very much so. I feel like everywhere I always lived was very, like, community.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
Retreating, which was kind of nice because my friends would just come over. We'd like Rome.
Brooke
You like, doing hit the streets. That's really.
Danielle
Girls. We're in the street.
Brooke
We're in the streets. College or do you have any other high school ones in middle school?
Danielle
I have a picture of this one because I made a YouTube video. My brother and I did, like, a costume reveal. Like, we made a video and I was Lady Gaga and I went allout diy so I can always wig. And you know, I'm not a wig. Wig.
Brooke
Yeah. That's different for you.
Danielle
I'm not a big costume wig person. Like, where it's like, oh, I did like, the short blonde.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
Just itchy.
Brooke
You don't feel like yourself. It is fun, but you don't feel like yourself.
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke
That's cute when you're like.
Danielle
I mean, that was like a character.
Brooke
This was in high school. You didn't know?
Danielle
No, no, that was. That was in middle school. That was in middle school.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
Oh, college. I, I. Same, same theme. I feel like I did devil, like, multiple times with the devil horns and, like, a red dress. I did cat freshman year, high school. Freshman year of college for a part.
Brooke
Yeah. That's a classic Like Brooke mature.
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke
Safe.
Danielle
We don't really have a big Halloween.
Brooke
No. Because it was always around Georgia, Florida game.
Danielle
Yeah. Like other schools.
Brooke
Every single weekend. Margot Lee, I always think about her. That was iconic. Yeah. Only like, two year. Like, I see. I was Cher one year for Halloween. Like Cher from Clue. Clueless.
Danielle
Not sure. The singer from Clueless is a great costume. I love that.
Brooke
Totally. And I was Elle woods, which I was actually pretty proud costume.
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke
When I was, like, so blonde.
Danielle
Yeah. These are, like, easy. You could, like, kind of work with what you got.
Brooke
Yeah. I swear. All pink. Put some glasses on.
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke
Black cat. That's easy.
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke
The last few years, though, I feel like we've had some good, like, some. Some New York City costumes.
Danielle
We've totally. Well, we had that one year where we did, like, three nights. I don't know why.
Brooke
I don't know.
Danielle
Popular back then, I guess.
Brooke
Our Blair and Serena costume, honestly, is so good.
Danielle
It was a great. That was put together by us.
Brooke
Yeah. All the pieces that was put together by us. And we should, like, repost that, honestly.
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke
Like those. Yeah. We did, like. We were acting.
Danielle
We committed to the bit. We're in the middle of Soho, like, in character. People were like.
Brooke
We literally dressed up and put on our costumes to make Tiktoks, and then later that night, changed back into them.
Danielle
Party for Katie's party. Right.
Brooke
Katie's party.
Danielle
That was a fun, fun time.
Brooke
That was a fun time. We were angel and devil. I have those. I was.
Danielle
Yeah. Yeah.
Brooke
Brooke was the devil.
Danielle
Yes. And then I. I did a little red riding because I don't think. I didn't know what else to be. And I feel like I had a black dress. I was like, oh, this is convenient.
Brooke
That was really pretty.
Danielle
Yeah. What about.
Brooke
What were you.
Danielle
That. That day.
Brooke
I don't know what day you're talking.
Danielle
About, because we did three.
Brooke
Oh, that day I was Cruella de Vil. Oh, I think.
Danielle
Yes.
Brooke
For that Cipriani party. Yeah. I was definitely Cruella de Vil that day. Day. And then one year, me and Ryan did three costumes together consecutively. Peter Pan and Tinkerbell. Carrie and Big. And then golfer and a caddy.
Danielle
That was last year, wasn't it?
Brooke
No, it was two years ago. Because last year we were Justin and Haley when I. Which was so iconic because, well, like, literally everyone did it, but the woman that did my hair had done Haley's hair. That for that outfit, which was so awesome. I got really lucky there.
Danielle
That was a. That was a big costume. And you Guys like blew it out.
Brooke
Of the part, like.
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke
Cuz Ryan like dedicated to the bit and put the tattoos on his neck and unfortunately one of them were semi permanent, so it took a while to get that one off. Yeah. What were you. Was last year Pikachu or.
Danielle
No, last year was Belle Beauty.
Brooke
Oh, yeah.
Danielle
The corset that I had in the skirt, which was. It was cute.
Brooke
I loved it.
Danielle
Yeah. The year before that bed and I did Pokemon, like trainers where we.
Brooke
Yes.
Danielle
I actually love it. I have the picture printed out and I. So I. I don't see that a lot. So I feel like that's kind of.
Brooke
I really liked that one a lot from.
Danielle
I think I got it on Dolls Kill. They actually have some good costumes.
Brooke
Oh, we should look there for our costume.
Danielle
Yeah. Maybe pieces I know if they like shipping.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
I feel like some of these websites, they toe the line real, real tight between like quality costume and sexy like. And it's like. Yeah, it's a fine line.
Brooke
Yeah. It's like how sexy we get.
Danielle
Yeah. We. I mean, sex about every. Everything.
Brooke
Everything, Everything.
Danielle
It wasn't like Pokemon trainer. It was like sexy Pokemon traitor.
Brooke
Like sexy Starbucks barista. Like literally everything.
Danielle
Yes.
Brooke
And you know what? More power.
Danielle
No, you gotta lean in.
Brooke
But it's like, what are you comfortable with? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Last year I also did Eloise at the Plaza. That was like such an easy costume. I just wore like a white puffy top, black skirt.
Danielle
Yep.
Brooke
Mary Jane vibes. And then I was also a devil. And I rented this really cute, cute red set from Pickle and just got ears. And sometimes you just have to go classic.
Danielle
I'm here for a easy, breezy, beautiful.
Brooke
Yeah. So stay tuned. In a few days, you'll see what the gals are being. I don't think anyone would ever guess it.
Danielle
No, I don't think so either.
Brooke
I. Hopefully we can like really like. I want to make it like really good and like.
Danielle
No, me too. That's the thing. Like some of these you can't go halfway. Like. Like these we can.
Brooke
Today we're just, you know, if it's.
Danielle
Something that people wouldn't obviously guess, like you gotta like embrace it more. I feel.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
Otherwise, I mean, you can explain the backstory. I feel like that's a whole thing too. Like, you know when you ask them like, what are you? And they're like, you got five minutes? Like.
Brooke
Yeah. Can I show you a couple photos? This is who I am. I know. So I think. Well, it'll be pretty obvious, especially when we're together.
Danielle
Yeah. So, yeah.
Brooke
Stay tuned for that.
Danielle
Travel as a group.
Brooke
Yeah, we'll have to travel as a group. Ryan might be adding on to the costume.
Danielle
There's a few add on optional. Add on. Yeah. Which is nice. Fringe character.
Brooke
Yeah. Yeah. It'll be really great. Well, this definitely got me in the Halloween mood.
Danielle
Me too.
Brooke
I have to say same.
Danielle
I'm craving some sour candy. Dare I say. And I had two sips of.
Brooke
Oh, yep.
Danielle
Checkpoint Pumpkin brew.
Brooke
I mean, maybe almost an inch has been drinking of Brooks coffee. I'm so serious.
Danielle
It's, it's, it's not quite hitting today.
Brooke
What if you are? Will you go home and add more ice? Perhaps? Yeah.
Danielle
100.
Brooke
Good.
Danielle
100%. Yeah. Anyways, thanks so much for spending Halloween with us. I hope you're feeling spooky.
Brooke
Happy trick or treating. Happy. Haunted housing and partying. And be safe. And we love you guys so much.
Danielle
See you next week.
Brooke
Bye.
Danielle
