A
Hey, guys. What's up? Welcome back to Gals on the Go Podcast.
B
It's Brooke and Danielle. Happy Wednesday. Hope you're all having a fabulous day.
A
We are really coming off of a fun Hamptons weekend. I think we're both a little tired, but that's. Yes.
B
That just means it's going to be one of our funniest episodes yet. It will go down in history for gals. Maybe.
A
Maybe. Hey, maybe.
B
Possibly. Hey, hey, look, look, look.
A
Danielle's doing this thing where she, like, announces things like, she, like.
B
Brooke, are you ready to podcast?
A
When did this start?
B
Is that literally today?
A
This morning? Just being silly.
B
Like, just now.
A
Oh.
B
Like, because Kelly and I were talking about, like, cleanup on aisle 10 at the grocery store. Because, guys, I literally dropped some meatballs at Citarella, and if, you know, you know, Citarella is a very fancy grocery store in the Hamptons, and I dropped some, like, two weeks ago, and I'm still thinking about it. And then I bought those same meatballs today at the grocery store and the W. And I said to the woman, like, I think I'll just hold them instead of putting them in my grocery bag. And she goes, did you hear what happened? And I'm literally like, you're like, this is about me.
A
A picture of me in the back like, that says, do not trust this woman.
B
Do not let this woman falls at Cinderella in East Hampton. But it wasn't about me. It was about someone, like, five minutes before that. But this is a fun episode, and I think it's honestly pure gold. This is a Gals in the Go original audio only episode.
A
Audio only. When's the last time we did audio only?
B
I mean, back in 09, back when.
A
Podcasting didn't require a camera.
B
Back when. The reason we started the podcast a long, long time ago was when dinosaurs roamed, when pterodactyls were roaming, thought, oh, it's fun. You know, we Both are on YouTube. We're both on Instagram. Like, let's do a podcast where it's audio only. And it was so fun, and we still obviously enjoy it, but then, you know, you got to keep up with the Joneses.
A
Yes.
B
So we. When I moved to New York and we were in the same city again, we started doing video, and it's so fun, and we love seeing the clips. And I. I know. I feel like you're a big, like, podcast watcher.
A
Like, I love throwing it on. Throwing it on the. Throwing it on cooking.
B
Or she slipped on a dress and threw on gals. On the go on the tv.
A
It's a whole vibe, though. Like, it really is. And I love when people repost, like, watching us and like, on the YouTube and stuff.
B
Me too.
A
And I. I do love the YouTube, but sometimes it's nice. Like, you know, I have a little makeup on.
B
Brooke is in full glam. She is ready for gal.
A
I had to go do my car photos, a little car photo shoot with my Hyundai, you know, And I said, I'm on a job today. I woke up and I said, I gotta. Today's the day I gotta go take my pictures and.
B
Which is so real and brave because we've been, like, in full glam so many times this week. And you were like, I'm gonna choose the Sunday lazy to go.
A
It just due to my own procrastination. Surely there will be a time later in the week. Surely there will be a time later in the week. And then here we are. The last day.
B
Surely it is the last day of the week. Well, yeah, we just decided to do audio only. Hopefully you guys liked our poolside episode. That was fun and different for us. And then we wanted to have two Hamptons episodes because, you know, we've been here for a week. We have so many fun stories. Like, so much has happened, so much to recap. And we just couldn't get it together to do a video today. So we were like, let's do audio at least so that. Well, it was always the plan. Sorry. We didn't. We weren't lazy. It was always the plan to have.
A
Always the plan.
B
We didn't have production come out.
A
No.
B
It's a Sunday, you know, everyone's off.
A
Yeah. Next episode will be video and it'll be fun. So stay tuned for that.
B
Next episode will be video and it will be fun.
A
But how was your weekend? What's. What's been going. We spent the entire weekend together. So I don't know why I say like that. I'm like, what'd you do?
B
I'm trying to think. So last time we chatted, it was Thursday. Thursday. So right before the weekend began, right before our guests came, we had Katie. Obviously, Katie's in the house with us, but Colby and Adam came, who are two thirds of Match Made in Manhattan podcast. And then. So fun. We celebrated Colby's birthday. And I had my friends Delaney, Caitlyn and Morgan come. And Ben came in for the weekend. Jack came in. I'm missing people for sure. Clara was here, obviously.
A
Who else? And then some. We had some others, like, come and stop by like, we, like, went out with Margot.
B
Yeah. Margo met us out my rostery. That was so fun.
A
Yeah. It's been like some rotating cast of characters.
B
Yeah. I'm curious. You going into. Not, like our trip in specific, but you were like. I don't know if I'm like. Like, I was so excited to come to the Hamptons, but, like, you've been like, coming throughout the summer. You were like, ah. Like, I don't have the Hamptons spark yet. How do you feel after a week?
A
I feel really good. I feel like I did it. Like, I did my big one.
B
Like, you did your big.
A
I did my big one. We had such a big weekend in terms of like, two.
B
Yeah.
A
Key nights out. I feel like this was my first time, like, really, like, going out full send this summer.
B
Definitely. Honestly.
A
Yeah. Like, when else have. I'm trying to think, like, when I was the exception of, like, Gretchen's wedding, of course. Like, yeah. Again, like, big, like, just for no reason. Like, just going out just because life is fun, you know, I don't do this sort of stuff in the city anymore. Really? Like, no.
B
Me either. No.
A
Yeah.
B
But I was. We were talking about how even though, like, they were two big nights, like living in New York, we are so used to, like, constantly having, like, if it's going out or if it's an event or, like, I feel like we are wired to be like, oh, like, what are we doing now? I don't know.
A
Yeah. No, and we're very lucky. I feel like that's. It's like the world run, but also just New Yorkers in general. I feel like they're constantly.
B
There's something to do.
A
Like, yeah. You're like, oh, okay. And even if, like, so many of my friends who, like, work corporate, like, it's like they've got a happy hour. They've got like a going on.
B
Yeah.
A
There's constantly packed social calendar versus, I feel like other parts of the world. Maybe it's a little slower.
B
Yeah.
A
That's what I see.
B
Definitely. I mean, even just like, when I go home to Florida, I'm like, whoa. We're all just like, chilling.
A
Yeah. This week it's like, well, you're here.
B
Yeah. That activity.
A
Whoa.
B
Don't let me put too much pressure on you now. Do not worry. No. We've had so much fun, so. Well, first we do, like, our little glam on the go before we forget. And then we'll get into just everything.
A
To talk about everything. Everything. Glam on the.
B
Gonna go. What are you glamming?
A
What am I glamming? I have been. So I had a really cool opportunity this week where so I. Because I. I feel like I'm in this book niche. So I get. I talk about books and I do a lot of like, book adjacent things these days. And I got invited to promote Bobby Brown's new memoir, Still Bobby Come. Still Bobby comes out in September. I power read this thing. So I got the PDF copy like a week ago. It is fantastic. And I know you and I grew up like reading the Bobby Brown books. Like you had the coffee table book, of course. That was like. There was like a teen one.
B
Yep.
A
There was a teen beauty book that was like my bible. I was like obsessed with this woman.
B
Truly. She's so iconic.
A
Like the. Yeah, the makeup, brushes, everything. So I. I think you know the lore, but I'll explain it for everybody listening. She sold Bobbi Brown cosmetics to essay Lauder 25 years ago. And she was like, she signed essentially like a non compete and she was like, still employed by them. But then I think like eight years ago or something like that, she quit and started working. Then like the non compete was kind of like over. Started working on Jones Road. Jones Road, which is her new line. And it's really just like, I actually don't even know if it's clean. I assume. I feel like it's clean beauty because she's really. She's very healthy. Like, she eats clean and stuff. So I feel like it's that kind of vibe, simple, light, more natural, glam makeup products. And I feel like I've tried a few other things before, but Bobby, she used those products. I mean, she. It was just such like a pretty everyday look. One product that really stood out to me was the eyebrow pencil. So the Jones Road eyebrow pencil. It's like 20 bucks.
B
Do you have it on right now?
A
Yeah.
B
Yeah. Your brows look fire.
A
It's great. She said that there's like little fibers in it that are kind of like.
B
Brat, you know, make it look like a brow. Wispy.
A
Yes. Like, it's not just pencil. Like, there is like, it's a little texture almost.
B
Whoa.
A
Yeah. So pretty high tech.
B
Yeah, it's pretty high tech. I think that's so cool that you got to go do that. Thanks.
A
It was really.
B
We were all like chilling by the pool. Was literally a Saturday. And then Brook's like, I'm headed to get my makeup done by Bobby Brown. So iconic.
A
It was very, very cool. I felt very lucky to be there. And the products are really great. I feel like they're very, like, summer easy girl. Like, you're throwing, you know, you want, like, a few products in your bag. Vibe.
B
I. One of my first makeup products was. Or my first nice makeup product was the Bobbi Brown tinted moisturizer. It was in a black tube. Yeah. My mom bought me it. We went to Nordstrom. I got color matched or whatever.
A
Oh, so fun. That's like a universe. Why was that such a universal experience?
B
Maybe the moms love Bobby.
A
I think the advertising was, like, really good. Like, they were. You know, it's like, this is it. And it really does. They were saying, like, Bobby touches so many generations of. Of women. She does.
B
Jones Road, baby.
A
Yeah.
B
Thanks for that little tidbit. Of course.
A
What about you?
B
My glam on the go is. Honestly, it really is on the go. I love it. It's kind of glam adjacent, I guess it's called Bondi or Bond. Yeah, Bondi. B, O, N, D, I, E. And it's a roll on adhesive. I hate fashion tape. Like, I agree.
A
It just doesn't.
B
You're always, like, trying to head out the door. You're overstimulated. Try to peel those double sticky things. Like, no.
A
I also just feel like it's not sticky enough. Or sometimes it, like, rips my skin. I feel like it goes one or two ways. Like, sometimes I'm like, oh, this isn't supporting. And then. No, sometimes I'm, like, ripping it off and I'm like, oh, my gosh, I have, like, a third degree burn now.
B
Exactly. Or you have to, like, place it in the perfect spot so the clothing sticks on the. It's just. I don't like it. And I knew that I had a dress that I wanted to wear, Surf Lodge. And I knew I had a lot of side boob going on. And I was like, I don't want too much side boob. So I had seen all these Tick Tock shop ads, honestly, for this thing called Bondi. It literally looks like a Summer Fridays pink lip balm. But it's perfect because I used it on either side. I just. You literally. It looks like lip balm. The applicator looks like lip balm. And you apply it wherever you need to stick your clothing to let it sit for 30 to 60 seconds, to let it get tacky, and then you stick the piece of clothing to it. I had never used it before, so I brought it with me to Surf Lodge. Never needed to use it.
A
Whoa.
B
It stuck the whole night. And I was dan. We were Dancing. Yeah, we were jamming.
A
So how was it taking it off?
B
I took. You just remove it with water. So I took a shower. But also I was pretty drunk, so I don't even. Right off, I feel like. And I remember the whole evening, which we'll get into, but I feel like I did shower. And then I asked my friends. I was like, did I shower? They're like, I don't know because I just, like, came up here and went to bed. I feel like I showed.
A
So you, like, you're able to take the dress off, but it's just, like, sticky.
B
Yeah, it was just like. Just like a little sticky. I need to, like, check my dress, though.
A
Oh. And see how it. But this sounds like a cool product. I'm intrigued by this.
B
Yeah, you definitely should get it.
A
Gretchen's wedding, I had like a big.
B
I was thinking about that.
A
I could have used that.
B
Yeah, exactly. Like, it's just nice. And I like that. You can just bring it with you and like, add extra if you need. It's very on the go friendly. And I think it's the new wave. I don't think I ever want to use fashion tape again.
A
I'm aligned on that.
B
I literally woke up this morning. One of my friends must have needed fashion tape because I saw like, the little strips and I was triggered. Like those little tape strips?
A
Yeah. Yeah. I just. I feel like you have to be like a surgeon to get the placement right. Like, you have to have steady hands. You're like, here we go. And we're done. Here we go.
B
No, Exactly. And that's just not for me. That's. I don't really. And it's always just when you're over stimulated. So it is.
A
It's like the final two minutes. Like, wait, I have to tape.
B
And then you need to get your friends and like, they're trying to get ready too. And you're like, please, someone help me. Or it's the zipper. Or it's. Everyone's happy to do for each other, but it's always so overstimulating, so. But I. It's genuinely improved my life.
A
Just.
B
I love that, for one thing. And now I feel like I'm gonna start buying clothing items that I used to knock. I'm like, I don't want to have to tape it. Like, I've. It's literally deterred me anyways. That's that on that. Do you want to play a little game?
A
Sure.
B
I don't know how. I think it's a fun game because I'm Nosy.
A
Find out about the game.
B
I literally have had this in my notes for our podcast for months. I don't know where I came across this. It's not a very revolutionary game, but I'm just nosy. You know, I'm nosy. Go on your Spotify.
A
Oh, and.
B
I want you to search on repeat.
A
Oh, I've listened to this playlist and I'm.
B
I'm just curious, like, what? And it basically just shows you a little playlist of, like, I don't know, 20 songs or so of the songs you've been listening to the most. And I. I just want to hear what yours are.
A
My. You're not going to know any of these. They're like.
B
But some of the girls.
A
It's like the new Chris Lake album. On and on.
B
Nice.
A
This one song, it's one very summer. Very fun. Can't Decide by Max Dean and Luke Dean. Listen to it more. Chris Lake. It's Merv Max Styler, no Broke Boys, which I feel like is the summer.
B
Summer. Isn't it the summer? Yeah. Mine's up there. Number four for me.
A
Lpg, Obi, who We Just Saw, and Teenage Crime now. Because I've been listening to it.
B
It's already on there. I literally all of the time.
A
The time I had an unlock. We've listened to the song Katie put on Teenage Crime and I was Transported back to 2012. And it. It did something for me.
B
We don't sleep when the sun goes down.
A
What's on yours? Drake. Drake. Drake.
B
Actually, no. Really? Drake in sight?
A
No. Drake in sight?
B
No. Oh, Wonder. Because it's like summer right now. So all I have is Passion fruit right now of his. No, it's number one is Man Child, which I do the dance every day in my room. Does that make sense? No. Broke Boys. Party for you. Ribs by Lord.
A
Oh, you're in an emo mood kind of. I know.
B
20 cigarettes. Some country Morgan Wallen. What was that? The days. Do you think about. Yeah. A lot of country on here. Honestly.
A
Summer. That makes summer for you. As summer's winding down, I'm getting back into a routine that I love with Wayfair. I'm refreshing my space. I actually, recently, I'm still working on finishing my bedroom. I feel like that's, like, the one room that I'm, like, really finishing up in my apartment, and I got a new set of drawers to store my makeup, and it just. It's the perfect set. I feel like it's getting me organized. It's getting my space Looking clean and chic. And it just. It's wonderful, I have to tell you. So it came to my house unassembled, and then I actually had someone help me assemble it. Like, I was able to book it on the way for a website. So, so easy. I feel like I'm not a pro when it comes to, like, assembling these sort of things, so I love that I was able to, like, kind of do this all in one. And Wafer has an amazing selection of items. They have, like, linens and towels, and they have, like, home decor. If you're looking for, like, a refresh for me, it's that storage. I. I need that storage. I'm also looking into getting some more bathroom storage. I feel like I could really use that. They also have rugs and lamps. I mean, like, literally my Boston apartment, you guys, that thing was always fair. If you remember T B T. There's truly something for every style in every home. No matter what your space is or your budget. I feel like if you have, like, a piece that you're like, darn like, I kind of. Right now I also need, like, an this chair. I'm looking on Wayfair, so if you guys see any, send me some good links. Okay. I'm browsing every single day. You can get organized, refreshed, and get back to your routine for way less. Head to wafer.com right now to shop all things home. That's W-A-Y-F-A-I-R dot com. Wayfair. Every style, every home.
B
But it's. It's always quite interesting to see. So that. That was my. That was my game. That was it.
A
Oh, that's a fun game. I thought you were gonna say, like, search for this thing. And you're like, we've done that before.
B
Oh, yeah, Masters. I'm like, oh, nah, I thought I'd keep it easy. I'm just nosy. And I like to hear what everyone's, like, listening to.
A
Yeah.
B
AKA you.
A
Yeah. A lot of. A lot of beats. I feel like I've been going. Seeing some artists, you know?
B
Yeah, you've been seeing some artists.
A
Yeah. This week I'm going to Vegas.
B
I keep forgetting that.
A
Like, two days. Yeah.
B
As this. Wait, no, that's a lie. No, you would have already gone to. To Vegas.
A
To Vegas. So I'm, like, preparing now because we're gonna see Sophie Tucker. So I'm studying because, you know, I study.
B
Yeah, obviously.
A
That's my curriculum of the week.
B
Well, that's what you did when we were going to Surf Lodge this past Friday. You made everyone listen to lpg Obi.
A
It's more fun to see the artist when you. When you know their top hits at least.
B
Yeah.
A
100 at the bare minimum. Oh, Danielle is on a. I. I will take a picture and we will put in the newsletter because this is such me.
B
Right? This is Brooke's view right now.
A
Interesting position that she's.
B
No, I was thinking about it, like, Brooke is truly looking so darling in this little blue Abercrombie dress. Her Jones Road sparkly eyeshadow, a half up, half down with the claw clip.
A
Wow.
B
I am laying on a. An unmade mattress.
A
Like, raw mattress.
B
Raw mattress, no sheets and a striped terry cloth set. Hair in a bunch of nothing, you know, sweatpants, hair tied to them and.
A
No makeup your hair up and handle.
B
It or like, whatever it is. I'm actually laying on my. Like, I could get used to this.
A
You're like, on a decline.
B
I'm on a decline. This is the bed Delaney slept on. But this is really, really fun, honestly.
A
Yeah. You had a bunch of girlies here this weekend.
B
Yeah, fun.
A
It was such a good group. Everybody got along so well, obviously.
B
And like, I love looking around at all my friends are talking to each other.
A
It's really. It must be really nice for you because they all came out here together and they're all from like different walks of life, really.
B
No, I know. I'm like, you all will be friends. Sorry. Like, that's. No, it's so nice. Should we, like, do a run through of the weekend?
A
Yeah.
B
Because honestly, I feel like it was a really, really fun weekend and I feel like everyone had a lot of fun. Like there wasn't. It wasn't like, oh, my gosh. Like, I'm worried, like, she's not having like, whatever. Like, I don't know if that makes sense.
A
Yeah. No, I feel like going into the weekend, you were a little stressed.
B
I was stressed. You were so much going on because.
A
You, you like your social director.
B
Yeah.
A
And I think you like to make sure everybody's, you know, taken care of, taking care of, having a good time. But I feel like everyone went into the weekend with like, not crazy expectations. Maybe.
B
Yeah. Maybe that's what it was. But Friday we. We had plans, you guys, we had plans to go to Surf Lodge and will be sending a fruit basket or something to Touch Land because. Holy. They literally said gals and company.
A
You are welcome. Step right up. Yeah, we asked. So we invited to a touchland event. A bunch of Us influencer girlies. And we were like, look, look, look, look. Touchline. We're gonna. We want to be there. 1,000 would. Would be honored. Truly. It's. What?
B
Seriously?
A
It's in every purse of mine. Is a Touch Land hand. I think we've talked about it as a favorite on the podcast.
B
100% glam on the go for sure.
A
Yes. I buy it almost every time I'm at Sephora at the checkout.
B
Yeah, I need more.
A
But I feel like we were like, oh, we have some friends coming. Let's just see, like, you know, if they could get us some plus ones. So a few of us asked for one.
B
Danielle, she's like, look, look, I've got three friends coming.
A
Can I.
B
They don't have social media presences, so can they come? Can I get a totally say no.
A
3.
B
Yep. Ask for a plus three.
A
And they said, sure, come on through. Come on through.
B
Yep. They said, plus three, no problem. Which was so nice. They let you know, Brooke said, can I bring my boyfriend? You know, we all were able to bring all of our people, which was so kind.
A
We didn't want it to be like, oh, we could all go, except for these two. Like, that would have been. It was either we were all going or we were like, yeah, it was when it came down to it. So we all got the go ahead. Literally, like the day before, we were like, we can go. Yeah, awesome. We roll up and we're like, okay, great. Like, we're. We're just going to surf lodge. We know. We knew at that point we were going. We knew that we would be able to see the artist.
B
We knew we were going to be able to be on the deck.
A
We did. We did.
B
And we were so excited about that. We were like, we don't need a table. Like, it's so fine. We just are so grateful to be able to get on the deck, watch the artist, to be able to be there to go to this touchland event. That was sick on the beach. Like, yeah, we were grateful and already excited.
A
Yes. Beautiful event. So we went and went to the event. We met Andrea, the founder.
B
Oh, my gosh. She's so iconic.
A
Obsessed with her. Obsessed.
B
She's from Spain.
A
Yeah. And this was their first event in the U.S. right? Like, yeah.
B
And that was a really cool event to do. They. They went hard for their first event in the US Let me tell you.
A
I'll say it was finally time to go up on the deck. And they. They gave us all our special next level wristband.
B
Yeah.
A
The Wristbands for the event. And then we put on our next level wristbands to go on the deck. And everybody dispersed into, like, a million directions.
B
Yes.
A
Honestly, absolute chaos. Like, some people have to go to the bathroom. I feel like.
B
Yeah.
A
Everyone see on the deck, like, whatever. We all disappear into groups.
B
Yeah. Like, I. I was waiting. I was trying to get two more wristbands for our two friends, and they were like, okay, you need to come to the front with us. You. I think. And then, like, pretty much the rest of the people went to the deck. Maybe if you went to the bathroom.
A
Yes. And I tried. I was like, let's go get. At least get a spot, like, in the middle.
B
Yeah.
A
So I'm trying.
B
Because you were really excited about the cj.
A
So excited. I was like, let's go. She's. She's. Oh, I started. I. I thought I was leading the charts. Like, let's go get a good spot in the middle. I look up, Delaney is on the deck. Delaney's not on. I'm sorry. Not on the. Just on the deck. She is behind the dj. She's in the.
B
Delaney is behind the dj.
A
Delaney is in the DJ booth. I looked at your other friends. Caitlin and Morgan were also back there, and I was like, holy. We just got up here. We just. We literally just got our spot.
B
Literally just.
A
We weren't even, like, positioned yet in the crowd. I look up, I was like, oh, they're already behind. And then I was like, oh, my God, do our wristbands get us back there? Because remember, you said that. Yeah, like a special wristband.
B
Because that happened before I looked.
A
No, they had. They had gained an additional wristband.
B
Totally Coachella.
A
No, it was. I was.
B
Wristband unlocked.
A
Okay, that's completely fine. No worries. And then. And then I called you. I was like, please come to the middle of the crowd. And you're like, please come to the back of the crowd.
B
Yeah. We never talked about this. I was so confused. Were you just, like, wanting to get everyone right? Oh, because you didn't know what I didn't know.
A
I was like, hey, we got a spot in the middle. Like, I felt like I was at a concert. Yeah, you were like, oh, I got us a spot.
B
You need your sign.
A
Like, yes. I was like, my fingers in the air. No. And you were like, no, no, no. Report to the back. The back of the crowd.
B
Yeah. It wasn't making sense because I went to the front of Surf Lodge to get the wristbands for the last two people, and then, like, this Just, like. Just doesn't happen to the gals. Like, I'm sorry. Like, I feel like I don't have that, like, attract, like that energy that attracts this. But it was working that day.
A
I've never been pulled up on the stage like Delaney.
B
Oh, yeah. No.
A
Identified in the crowd.
B
Yeah, they literally. Yeah. So basically, Delaney said that they were just walking in, and then this woman was like, do you want to go behind the DJ booth and delay? I was like, yeah. But my two friend, like, she was with Caitlin and Morgan, and she was like, yeah. So they all got wristbands. They were immediately up. I wasn't even with them. Like, so my friends get to go up there. Great. Cool. But I was like, no.
A
She's so nonchalant about it all, though. She's like, no. They just, like, asked me if I wanted to.
B
I was like, the thing about Delaney is she is strikingly stunning, beautiful. Like, so humble and so chill. Like, she could care less.
A
Like, she literally doesn't care. She was like, with this whole thing.
B
Yeah, this thing, sure. So rewinding, I go up, I'm getting this wristbands and this guy, this woman, I think she worked for Touchland. So shout out. I think it was her. She brought me over to this guy and she's like, he's gonna take you to your table. And I was like, our table. The touchland. Like, the touchdown. And she was like, yeah. So then she takes us to the table. So then I'm like, trying to tell everyone, guys, guys, come to the back. Because the table is, like, in the back. But if this is true, I don't know. But we were told that the good.
A
The.
B
Oh, my God. It's so annoying to say, but, like, quote unquote, good tables at Surf Lodge are, like, along the water or, like, good as in, like, a lot of celebs are over there. Whatever. Like, they brought us over there. And I'm like, holy. And we literally had a table. There were other people there that were touchland. But it became to a point where it was literally just our friend group there.
A
Yeah. Because we had, like, 12 people or something.
B
So we had a big group and we were inclusive. We were, like, talking to the other people that were at the table, and they were so nice. Shout out to. But at one point, shock.
A
We were not expecting a table at all. We get to know there's Touchland, like, merch and stuff at the table. Like, it was the touchland.
B
Confirm. Yeah. Because I saw you walk up, be.
A
Like, are you sure?
B
And I'm like, look at the cups. They say touchland confirmed. Confirmed, which was so kind, just such a surprise.
A
And then, yeah, they came over and they were like, hey, yeah, Table opened up and, like, we got it for you.
B
Oh, I didn't hear that.
A
Oh, yeah, Because I was like, thank you so much. Like, I didn't think we were gonna get a table. And they were.
B
Oh, I didn't know this.
A
Oh, I heard. Yeah. Like, it was like, oh, yeah. Like, we found out. It was, like, earlier that day or something. Like, it was like, a last minute thing. So I guess maybe they were like, set your expectations low. People, honestly, always be blown away.
B
Yeah, that's so true. Like, the first time we went to Surf Lodge, our expectations were through the roof so high and the rain. But it really worked out in our favor.
A
And it was Colby's birthday that day, so perfect. She got to really have a fun birthday. And we just had such a good situation. And then those. So those special wristbands that Delaney and co had were put to good use. They were really passed around the whole group.
B
They literally were. Well, because Delaney comes back, and she was like, anyone want this?
A
I don't even want to be up, like. And I was like, I mean, me, me, me. I would.
B
I would like to volunteer if no.
A
One else wants it. It. If you're offering, take it. Yeah. So I took my spin, came back. I passed off to you. You went up, you took your spin, went back. We gave it to Colby and Adam.
B
Everyone, Everyone got a turn. So don't worry. Don't you guys worry. No, no. There was only three wristbands in the group, but we all got to go up.
A
Yeah. You know, sometimes you have to do some.
B
We're pulling back the curtain. That's really. You know, of course, we posted the stories, you know, made it look really cool.
A
But no, no, I want. I was selected to go.
B
Yeah. Like, literally, I selected.
A
Meanwhile, like, Delaney was pulling through for the whole group.
B
I'll be vulnerable for a second.
A
Oh, okay.
B
So then at one point, I think it was with you, Morgan, and Delaney or Caitlyn. Yeah, it was.
A
Caitlyn was Kaylin, because they were part of the original group that got the three wristbands. And Delaney was like, I really don't want to go up anymore. Brooke, you can take my spot. But then the other two were like, I'll go back with you. And you were like, I also want.
B
Yeah. I was like, I'll. I'll try. I was like, surely if I come back with you, Guys, they'll just be like, oh, these three girls have wristbands. We'll give this girl a wristband.
A
Yeah.
B
Thankfully, I was, like, having some liquid courage. We get up there, and I really wasn't stressed. And again, I think it's because I was chilling. But we walk up there, you guys get up on the stage, and you guys are being so nice. Like, come on. Like, it's okay. Or not, like, telling me to come up. But you guys were, like, trying to wait for me. And the bodyguard was like, it's not. Like, I don't have the liberty to, like, give this to you. And I was like, okay, no problem. Like, when is she gonna be back? Because Delane told me it was a girl.
A
Yeah.
B
And he was like, oh, now it's a guy. I was like, oh, great, great. And then finally, the guy comes back. He has one. I see he has, like, one of these colorful wristbands on. I see him give it to someone else, and then I see the bodyguard try to help me out and say something to the guy with the wristbands. And I just saw him, like, do, like, a. No.
A
I didn't know about that.
B
And I'm telling myself that it's because he didn't have any more wristbands. I did watch him give the last one. I'm sure there were more, but that came from. I hear he could have gone and gotten.
A
I think that. I mean, I think that there were some beautiful people that they were distributed to. Like, Delaney.
B
Yeah.
A
I think otherwise it was people that had a good vibe. Like, I really think that it was, like, right place, right time.
B
Yeah. I just didn't have a good.
A
Wrong time. No, But I'm saying that, like, he was. They were throwing them out, and then, like, you know, they ran out.
B
Yeah. That's what I'm telling myself. Like, I'm telling myself it's not that deep, whatever. But I just. I wouldn't even gone over there. I just thought, like, oh, all my friends have it. They'll be like, oh, yeah, you're one friend. And so I'm just, like, waiting there with the bodyguard, and I'm watching you guys. I'm taking videos, whatever. I'm vibing. Really. I didn't feel weird. And then I finally look over at the bodyguard. I was like, look, look, should I go back to the table, or should I wait here to see, like, actually coming back ever? And he was like, look, do you have friends at the table? And I was like, yeah, I do. He was like, I would Go back. I was like, oh, dagger to the heart. Dagger to the heart.
A
This man didn't know that we had a rotating caster then. So little did he know.
B
Don't worry, I'll get back there.
A
Anyway, just a mere 20 minutes later, you're on the stage because you magically got a wristband.
B
So you.
A
Dude.
B
Yeah, no, but, like. And some people would be honestly so upset about it, but I was like, wrong place, wrong time. Like, it's fine. I wouldn't have gone.
A
The only reason it worked is because the wrist. If the shoe fits. If the wristband fits. It was giving Cinderella.
B
There was a moment where, yeah, we were all seeing, like, which wrist could fit.
A
What you said some people like them out. Like, it doesn't fit me, you know? I was like, ben won't fit your wrist.
B
Yeah, I know. Poor Ben. He was like, I'll watch. He took great videos. It was very sweet. But that was funny. Lol.
A
That. That was the. The little secret to Surf Lodge with the. The wristbands. I don't know. What is it like to be one of those girls who just, like, gets access to certain things? Like, you know what I mean, where they're like, you are so beautiful, man. Like, you were saying the lady. Like, they're like, I am so sorry. This is a massive mistake, ma'. Am. You should be on the stage immediately.
B
So sorry. You're on the deck with. Must be up there.
A
Complete mistake. You need. I'm so sorry, man.
B
We were all, like, so Delaney. It's just like, next time we're all walking in a surf lodge with Delaney, like, the table's under her name.
A
Like, honestly, we are like, it's her world. We're just living in it.
B
Seriously, like. And she's just there to vibe. Like, I feel like I love her.
A
For that all the time to her, though.
B
All the time. We'll be at bars all of the time, and these guys come up to her and, you know, sometimes she's like, hey. Sometimes she's like, yeah. You know, like, she just.
A
It gets approached. I feel like that adds to the.
B
Bit of it because that's why we love her, you know, like, it's the guys.
A
Anyone else would go to their head.
B
No, it does not go to her head.
A
So humble.
B
She couldn't be more humble. I'm like, I don't think you realize, but that was really funny. I also. I won't, like, say the name to be nice, but I did have a reality TV star, like, when we were behind the DJ booth, Is this okay to say? Yeah, I won't say who it was because she ended up being nice to me. But we were up the. On, like. So then I'm on the dj, but we're on the DJ booth, and there's like, benches behind the DJ booth. And I was there last week and we stood up on the benches. No problem. It was a vibe. Ruby Saracino, Queen of Montauk, was like, yeah, let's get up on the benches. So I thought it was okay. So then when I was there this time, I. As soon as we got on the DJ booth, I was like, I'm standing on the benches. It was just like an elevated surface in that same area and immediately stand up. And this girl is like, oh, my gosh, I'm sorry. Like, my friends, like, they've never been here before. She said something like, do you mind getting down? And I was like, so I'm just getting down deep. Deep.
A
Was it her tape? Like, her.
B
Well, she said it. I can't remember exactly was loud, but I feel like she said, like, it's all we paid for this table. I'm like, I don't think there's tables back there. Like, I've never seen people, like, I have a table behind the DJ booth. Unless she was like, really good friends with the dj. I don't really know. But I was nice. I was like, no problem.
A
Haha.
B
Because I was already, you know. Oh, my God, I can't get.
A
Yeah.
B
Exposed for the wristband. Snatch of the sundry. Is she. Is this girl giving you a problem? Like, no, officer, no, no, but. And then we. We probably stayed up there, you and I, for like 20 minutes.
A
I wasn't up there with you.
B
Were you never up there with me?
A
We were never up there at the same time because you and I were switching off from the same.
B
Oh, you. You were the one who texted me, come, I have a wristband for you. You gave me the wristband.
A
Yes, I traded back with you. I gave you the wristband off my Delaney.
B
I'm getting confused with When I Wait.
A
Yes, it was Delaney to me. Me to you.
B
It was me and Kaylee, maybe. Yeah.
A
Who knows? And then. Yes, but then, like, that was the chain of the wristband.
B
Yes, because you weren't there for this reality star.
A
No, I didn't. But I did see it from afar. Took some cool videos of you girls on stage.
B

And then we were, like, going to leave, and the same reality girl grabs me and goes, I'm so sorry, by the way. Like, I don't even remember what she said, but, like, she was. Must have either was having scaries or I don't know.
A
I didn't want to get on. Probably.
B
She was probably like, oh, my God.
A
This girl's gonna, like, cancel, make a story time.
B
Like, I met on a podcast, but here I'm not gonna say her name because I actually appreciated that she apologized to me. So I don't know. And she was never, like, mean. It was just kind of like, I feel like we can all stand up here.
A
Yeah, I think we all.
B
I think we all can.
A
Excuse me.
B
We all have the purple respect officer. Can you check her wristband, too?
A
Yeah.
B
So that was just a little funny and weird, and I was like, hey, that was my Encounter for the day.
A
Hey, there were. Yeah. I'm trying to think if there were other, like, celeb sightings. Not really so many.
B
There was. Rachel Zoe was there.
A
Yeah, I did see her out of the corner of my eye.
B
Who else? Yeah, it wasn't really star studded like I thought, but, like, we had the best time. Like, we were all like, the same amount of hype and just so happy to be there. Adam's pouring rose in people's mouths. Like, it was magical. The sun, would you say?
A
So high on life?
B
So high on life.
A
It really was. Like, once we got the table, like, I don't. I can't explain to you the feeling of euphoria. Like, it was like, we are locked.
B
It's like that same feeling when you. Let's say you're already at a table and then they come with the bottles and the sign. It's just this. We were all like. None of it wasn't like, you know, I knew and I was surprising everyone or Brooke. Like, none of us knew.
A
No one knew.
B
And so just rolling up and just having that experience was, like, extra special. And we were just so excited to be there. Anyways, so thank you so much to Touchland Hand sanitizer and. And fragrances. And their fragrances.
A
Body fragrance. Yes.
B
They had a really cute, like, fragrance charm bar. Which One of my friends, I think, left one here, so you can have that one if you want. I got the same scent. It's golden lamb amber. It's very, very, very smelly. Goody.
A
Oh, yum. Okay.
B
But yeah, so we had so much fun and then we all came back and went to bed and did. And then.
A
Yeah, because it was like more of like a date thing.
B
Kind of love that.
A
Like, the outside portion ended by nine.
B
Yeah.
A
Some people went inside, like, the rest of us, like, ubered home by like, 10.
B
Yeah, it was great. Like, I was in bed by 11, 11:30. Like, that's nice.
A
Yeah, it was great because we knew we had a big day the next day.
B
We did have a big day the next day. We really over. We didn't over ourselves, though, because I was thinking about it because, okay, Saturday we wake up, we do, you know, pool. Like, everyone just wants to be by the pool, whatever. And we planned Hibachi, which is just so perfect because we had, I don't know, 13, 14, 15 of us. And it's just so, like, you just can't book a dinner that big of people. And, like, you don't want anyone to feel left out. And, like, I Don't know. It's just fun to just do something all together. So we decided to do Hibachi, which was the best call. They made it special for Colby's birthday. She got a little balloon hat that. But Hibachi will get you tired.
A
It will get you down. It's like, I feel like I'm still tired from that Hobach. Like.
B
Yeah.
A
I also just think I'm, like, hallucinating right now because I feel like I got, like, no sleep.
B
So I'm like, no sleep. Bus Club. Another club.
A
But it was. It's a Hibachi to you.
B
Hibachi for you. Very close.
A
We've used this company many times. Company. We love that company. And then we were just all very tired. Very, very tired. And we're like, oh, no. We have to rally. Because we had booked in advance. We had previously booked Common Ground. We're like, we're going to a proper club. We got a table. This is the big investment of the trip.
B
Big investment of the trip. We were like, we didn't have to pay it. Surf Lodge. How kind. How generous. We can save all our money for a table of Common Ground on Saturday. Well, we didn't know we were gonna get the table are floats, but it felt more justified. Yeah. And it was funny. We were sitting there after Hibachi, and I'm looking around and everyone's yawning, and, like, people are just tired. I see people kind of mumbling like, oh, I don't know if I'm gonna make it. And I'm like, look, we're making. We're making it. And the reason that we did this, or I think that we all kind of agreed we needed to do it. Well, one, Common Ground. So fun. Like, we knew they were gonna have a good dj, good music. Two, again, with a big group of people in the Hamptons these days, there's so many lines. Like, we want to be able to be guaranteed. We didn't want, like, a. Well, say we don't want a crazy cover. We played. We paid more than a crazy cover.
A
We wanted to just confirm that we had a spot guaranteed all together space. And it was our one bit. Going out night.
B
Yes.
A
I mean, you guys, I guess, kind of did a few things last weekend, but not really to that scale.
B
Not. We did, like. We did do Mary Lou's, but, like, this was a new weekend. Like, this was. This was new people. These are new people.
A
Yeah.
B
Characters, huh? So we wanted to do Common Ground, and it's at a new location this year. Obviously, we have, like, you know, so much love. I have a lot of love for Common Ground. I texted my guys today. Yeah, that time of year again, you.
A
Do have a connection.
B
He got us, I think. I think a good deal. We should have asked the table next to us, like, what are you in for?
A
I know.
B
What's your minimum?
A
Like, it's not a fixed rate, I assume it's very. It's variable, depending on.
B
Yeah. Like, I feel like. Yeah. I think if we just, like, reached out to a website, it would probably, like. I don't know. I don't know. We should have asked, though. Margot Ash rejoined us, which was really fun because she was here visiting her family in the Hamptons and music was so lit. The music was so lit. We definitely had to have, like, a 30 minute pump up in the kitchen here. We were like, guys, like, we got. It's happening.
A
I'm sorry, we're going to. You're part of this team.
B
Like, yeah, it's happening. And that was good that we did that little pump up. A few of us took some shots.
A
Something about a club, though. Like, I don't care, like, how tired I am. I don't know if it's just me because I like the music, but I swear it has to do with the air. Walk in and it's like, I'm up.
B
You can't not be up.
A
Right.
B
Like, towards the end of the night.
A
You get a little tired when you first walk in. You're like, oh, let's go.
B
Like, let's.
A
I feel like I was a little tired. And then I walked in. I was like, like, oh, yeah.
B
No. And. And I knew. I feel like a lot of people knew, like, we were gonna walk in. And it's like that energy, it's really hard to beat. And the. There was two different DJ sets, and they were both just amazing, like, playing a really great range of music. Like, there was Taylor Swift remixes. There was, like, High School Musical remix. There were just so many moments where I feel like we were all jumping up and down.
A
Yes. And we had just a really good situation. You're, like, right in the center.
B
Yeah. Our table was on the dance floor, which was cool.
A
They brought out the sign. Happy birthday, Colby.
B
Like, the confetti.
A
The vibes were just up. Everyone, I feel like we all walked in, woke up, and we were, like, ready to have a good night. Because, like, at that point we were like, oh, no, this is gonna be fun.
B
Yeah. No, we. And I'm glad we did it, because, you know, you're only in the Hamptons once. And we. Yo, yolo also shout out to Brooke because I had, like, set up the table so, like, they thought that my name was gonna. Like, I was supposed to put my card down, but I was just nervous because, you know, we had the minimum, and we promised all of our guests, like, this is what you will pay. And I just got. I get nervous that I'm gonna end up being, like, you know, get swindled by the. The bottle girl. And she'll be like, no, you guys need a little more. And I. I said, brooke, can you be my bad cop?
A
I.
B
And.
A
And one thing about me. I'll be the bad cop.
B
Brooke was like, yep, I don't want to go over the minimum.
A
So we're putting hard boundaries in place. We weren't. We were literally walking. Walking to our table, and I was like, so can you tell me when the. When we're getting close to the minimum so we could close out? And she was like, how about I just take your full order, and then we'll close out immediately?
B
A queen.
A
I was like, oh, say last. But for some reason, calculating the math.
B
Oh, that was so hard in the.
A
Lab, adding numbers in the calculator. Subtract that, and we will get the small bottle, and then we're still not there. We'll add in the bucket of beers and Red Bull, and then we just make it. We're in.
B
Like, no, seriously, Ben sweet BE notes on his phone of, like, quantity one. Like, yeah, yeah, yeah. Dashed one, two. It was very, very, very helpful, and I'm grateful that you put your card down. That's good to know for future. You could just. They can't not let you close out in the beginning, right?
A
No, you could just. But you have to do your full order first.
B
Yeah.
A
So we were just like, I. I literally ordered. I think it was maybe $20 over the minimum because, like, that's just, like, what got us.
B
Can't get the perfect math.
A
Yeah. I was like, okay. She was like, like, it's gonna be $20. I was like, don't.
B
We can handle that.
A
We're good. We're good. That's. That's a thank you for number over.
B
Not like, yes. That's still bad cop. That's still. You being not bad cop. You're being good cop.
A
No, no. It made her life easier, honestly, because, like, she didn't have to keep coming back to check. She got the whole order into once.
B
Yeah. Lucky girl.
A
Like, she only came up to us, like, twice.
B
Yeah. At one point, I Was like, could you make me a drink, please? I know we give you a big tip.
A
No. At one point, I was like, hey, we're still waiting for that bucket of Red Bull.
B
Oh, yeah, that. We were waiting for that Red Bull.
A
For a while, and then she kind of tried to gaslight me, like, a little bit. She was like, no, you didn't order the bucket of Red Bull. I was like, we talked.
B
Here's Ben's notes. Literally all the time talked about this.
A
But it's so loud in there, you have to scream.
B
Yeah.
A
You're like, bucket of Red Bull. And you're making, like, hand motions. You're like.
B
It's such a true, like, club experience. When you get there and you're putting in the order, there's always, like, a couple people that are tasked with the flashlight over the menu. Okay. Grey Goose, 700 milliliter.
A
Like the admin. Yeah, we'll get a big one of this.
B
Yeah.
A
One of this. Yeah.
B
A little bit of this, a little bit of that. It's just truly an art. And you know what? We don't really go clubbing in the city, like you said. So when's the last time you've been.
A
To a club in the city? Probably common ground again.
B
Yeah, I. Like, I couldn't even tell you, Brooke.
A
I don't know the last time that I went and did a table situation like that. We said we wanted to this summer, but then it didn't work out.
B
Oh, you mean. Yeah, the Mirage.
A
Yeah, RIP The Mirage. It's bankrupt.
B
Done.
A
It's bankrupt, But I don't know, like, it might not be done. I think that they're, like, trying to figure out the finances really well. They're like 150 million debt, so they have to figure that out first.
B
And I feel like no one wants to, like, buy it.
A
And. Yeah, it's not. Not looking.
B
Not looking juicy to.
A
To the investors right now, but I.
B
Feel like there's still been other venues that you can go and.
A
Totally, totally.
B
Outlets.
A
Yeah.
B
For the walks.
A
I have some. I have some things. Things on the books coming up in September.
B
Yeah.
A
Some concerts.
B
Remember.
A
September.
B
Good time. I like that song because it's the day in between me and Ryan's birthday. That's really cute, you know, like, I'm the 20th and he's the 20th.
A
You guys should have something with that at your wedding.
B
Yeah, maybe you need a lot of.
A
Songs at your wedding. Can we talk about that? I was thinking about it because I was seeing, like, Gretchen's post about. It was like, you thank. The end. Like, our. Our walk in song. Our first dance song. My aisles.
B
Yeah. There's a lot of songs.
A
The song, you know, that plays in between the speeches.
B
Yeah.
A
Song that plays when I'm talking, when, you know, this sort of thing happens.
B
Yeah.
A
There's a lot of moments for special songs.
B
There are. So there. That's kind of good, though, because I feel like there's all kinds of things. I think we've talked about it, but remind me, do you want to have it where all of your, like, bridesmaids and groomsmen get, like, announced? Like, the wedding party? Like, walking in, like, at the reception? Oh, no, no, no, no.
A
You.
B
I'm indifferent because I hear people, like, hate it, but I'm like, how fun. I like.
A
It is fun.
B
I like. See, I like.
A
Gretchen didn't do it, and I. I thought, what? She.
B
No. And it was awesome.
A
Excellent. Like, her wedding was just, like, for me. Now I'm like, gretchen didn't do that. So, like, I. I don't want to.
B
Do it, you know, like, Right.
A
I. I just liked the flow of it. It was.
B
It flowed well, I like that her.
A
And Max said a few words.
B
Yeah.
A
That was really nice.
B
I think that should be always. Yeah, that was nice.
A
We're just.
B
There's such a good wedding, and I love that they listen to the podcast.
A
Oh, my God, that was so cute.
B
They sent us a selfie of them listening and laughing, and I always think about that. It's like, everyone's at your wedding having all these different experiences. I'm like, I want all the debriefs, like, put me in your group chats of your Airbnbs and everything. I know.
A
Well, we've been having a fun summer. That was, like, a lot back to back. Now you're moving. Holy. I know. Finally.
B
Finally. I know. I like candy. I forget what it's like to have, like, a home. Oh, like a home with all of my stuff in it.
A
And you've been handling. I. I cannot reiterate that enough. Like, you've been doing this so well.
B
Like, really well.
A
Thanks for not having a home.
B
Like, I mean, I am in a stunning Hampton, of course, right now, and.
A
You have a lot of things. The closet is definitely full, but you have, like, a lot of things, like, in motion.
B
I feel like, you know, definitely a.
A
Lot of moving parts.
B
A lot of moving parts. And I'm really excited to nest. It's gonna be still very honest.
A
Did you just say.
B
Yeah.
A
Oh, you're in your nesting era.
B
I just I can't wait to nest, like, and just like, put all my stuff where I want it to be in my apartment.
A
Yep.
B
Our apartment. Oh, our. Let me correct.
A
Oh, that's cute.
B
It's so crazy. It's so nice. Like, I was like, oh, Ryan, we got to figure out the electric. Oh, you can do that. Like, he can do things.
A
I forget that there's like. I was talking. I want to say, Kelly, about something. I was like, oh, well, how do you handle, like, usually, like either a bill or something like that, right? Like, oh, that's. That's Landon's job. I was like, oh, yeah. Everybody has everything divided up differently.
B
So differently. No, it's. I really enjoy hearing how different people do things because Ryan and I were honestly trying to figure out too. Like, because I feel like you and I the same. It's like it all comes out in the wash, you know, with like, we're not going to go tip. Like, personally, we don't want to go tit for tat on things, but it is good to have like. Like with finances and stuff, like, who's doing what. Like, we don't share a bank account at the moment.
A
Yeah.
B
And so we kind of thought like, okay, it's probably gonna be me usually getting the groceries. So, like, I'll have him handle like utilities and WI fi, all that. And we were like, you know, that works for us.
A
Like, I. I think there's no right or wrong. I think it's very much so. Like, whatever. Like, I think I. At the moment, I'm paying for the WI fi because I wanted the fastest WI fi, obviously.
B
Exactly.
A
It's a write off. So, like, yeah, I'm going to do that.
B
Exactly. Just figuring out. I don't know. It's so interesting balancing it with someone else. Like I used to do with the team.
A
Are you going to say our apartment? I don't think I say that. I feel like I say my apartment.
B
Okay, good. Because I don't know, it's kind of hard to say that unless I was with him. Like, if you're with that, you be like.
A
You're like, oh, well, in our apartment we do that.
B
Or like, yeah, no, I think my apartment is my apartment.
A
It's. It's both yours and his. Technically. Yeah.
B
He could say my apartment too. I won't be upset that.
A
Yeah, it still is.
B
Yeah. Our. How's my plant doing?
A
It's good. I was just thinking about it.
B
Brooks been housing.
A
Yes. Your plan. And it's a really big, nice plant. It's it's enormous.
B
Did it seem. Because I kept telling you, like, because Brooke so kindly offered. Because I had set up for someone to water, and Brooke was like, you can send it to me.
A
I feel like I've, like, barely been home.
B
No, I know.
A
Where have I been? Oh, I went to Lollapalooza. Holy. I feel like I've been on the go, kind of.
B
Yeah. But it doesn't need much. She's very low maintenance. But I just didn't want my plant, my only live plant that I kept alive for about a year now to be. I mean, it couldn't be in storage for a month.
A
It wouldn't have made it. And that was a premium plant, right?
B
Premium plant. Very expensive.
A
What website did you source this from?
B
Like, like, yeah, it was something, like, in New York, and it was like. They delivered it to me.
A
Yeah.
B
Was. Yeah. Literally.
A
When do you want it back?
B
I know we need to coordinate. Maybe, like, this weekend. Yeah. Like, give me a couple days to find room for it. This is an ad by Better Help. I can't even lie. H E L p.com gals I am excited because since we have the second room, you probably did this when you moved too.
A
Like, like, that room was all storage.
B
Yeah, it's just gonna be storage until further notice.
A
Like, that room was under construction for almost a year. So. Yeah, you can take your time with it.
B
Yeah, I just.
A
Yeah, we'll get it together sooner than I did.
B
But no, I don't know. I'm feeling like I have to have a room that's like, I just want to put all the boxes. Like, it'll be nice. But then I feel like I'm not gonna unbox things because I'm. I'm not gonna see them. Like, I love that it can be a door that's shut, but we'll figure it out. But yeah, it's funny. Ryan had a bachelor party this past weekend and he has one this weekend. So he's. He's. We're moving. And then the next day he has to leave. But my sweet brother is coming up.
A
To Freddy, sweet Freddy, little Freddy, help me move.
B
My little brother. He's coming to help me move, which is so nice. So I was like, ryan, you're kind of lucky. Like, you're peace and out of here. But to be fair, we could have moved.
A
Well, you're not gonna, like, unbox his boxes for him?
B
No, no. But also, his boxes are like his clothes. Like, he's not really.
A
Yeah, so that was like. You don't need to, like, do his organizational system for him. Like, he can.
B
No, I'm actually. It'll kind of be nice. I can have like, my own piece and just kind of like, have you.
A
Done, like, the division of the drawers and everything yet? Or is that not like.
B
I was thinking this through. I just bought a dresser that we're going to share. Nine drawers. Do you guys have a nine drawer dresser?
A
We do have nine drawers.
B
Who gets four? Who gets five?
A
I have five.
B
I think that's fair. That's what I was thinking.
A
Yeah.
B
And I said that to him on the phone too.
A
It's only right.
B
Like, I just think I kind of wanted six.
A
Honestly, I could really use that bottom one. Well, that's the other thing about boys is that they. I'm curious to see if Ryan does this. Yeah, this is what Ben does. And I know it's not boys. In general, because I feel like there's boys who, like, love clothes.
B
Yeah.
A
My boyfriend is not one of those people. Like, he's not a clothes. Yeah. I mean, he loves, like, certain pieces. Like, I feel like he'll be like, oh, that's my favorite shirt, or like, whatever. But, like, some boys have, like, the full closet. And like, my boyfriend probably the closet is filled to half capacity. It could be probably filled with double the amount of clothes and still fit.
B
His closet.
A
His closet. Yeah. But in his, like, space, like, no, this is full. Like, it is completely full. I can't fit anything else. And I was. I'm like, you have a new pie. You have empty. Like, at the top. There could be more storage. Like, for me, I'm like, it goes deep.
B
Like, I got stuff back.
A
Yeah.
B
I'm the same way.
A
But I think that that's how they think of it.
B
Like, because. Have you ever tried to put stuff. Stuff into his. Is that why I.
A
Yes. And I have. And I do. But I also, like, have literally every closet in the place. Like, he has his closet. I have the coat closet, the second bedroom closet. The. The biggest.
B
Share the coat closet with you.
A
He's like, two coats in there.
B
Okay. Yeah.
A
It's mostly Brooks.
B
Yeah, this is mostly Brooks.
A
Then I have the second bedroom closet entirely, and then I have my closet entirely, and then I have five drawers, so I still have majority 30.
B
What closet does he have?
A
He. There is a closet, the second closet in the bedroom.
B
So he has one of the claw. I know. I've seen this.
A
There's two closets in the bedroom.
B
In the primary bedroom.
A
Yes. And he has the smaller one, and I have the bigger one.
B
Oh, and then you get the.
A
I get the two others.
B
Oh, my God. Maybe I'm doing a bad deal.
A
Why? What's your deal?
B
I. I get the big one in the primary bedroom, and then Ryan gets his own big one in the second bedroom, and then we're sharing the co closet. But maybe. Maybe he gets the coke. No, I'm kidding.
A
No, no, he can get the sec. This.
B
Maybe I'll just. I. I might have to overflow into his a little.
A
Yeah. Or maybe the coat closet's just your coat closet and then his coats can go in his closet.
B
Yes. So that closet, because it's a big closet, Right.
A
Like, isn't like, we're talking, like, significant size closets.
B
Yes. Yeah. And it's the same way, like you explained about Ben. Like, he'll think it's full, but it's like there's Space in between each hanger.
A
Yes.
B
I don't know what that's like. Like to have space in between.
A
He's like, but I understand, like, the visual clutter of it all. Like, yeah, no, I can't pick out outfits if it's like, completely the way that we have it.
B
Yeah. I'm like, oh, I think there's a white tank in there somewhere.
A
Yes. It's like digging through a sea of things. And I do get it. I actually appreciate that they're that way. You know, they're more simple. They kind of have like a one in, one out policy. Honestly, at this point, I've been slowly re refining his wardrobe over time. I'm like, look at these new pants.
B
Yesterday, I swear, I had no idea.
A
It's okay.
B
Ben and Brooke were chit chatting right before, about to go to the club, and I saw Ben's outfit and I was like, oh, my God, Ben, I love your outfit. And I didn't realize I had just said this outfit.
A
I. I'm so sorry. I actually apologized to him. I was like, I, I know I approved this outfit off, off body. But on body, the con, the, the materials don't go. Like, it's not working. And that was like, all he had on hand. I was like, I. I don't even know why I'm telling you this. Because you had no alternative. We have no alternative.
B
We don't have alternative.
A
Alternative. It wasn't so bad. I'm. I'm still learning men's fashion, like, because it was like a pair of like, Lululemon. I don't want to say joggers, because they were like, the pants.
B
ABC pants.
A
The pants.
B
Yeah.
A
But, like, linen shirt with it. Like, it just, it did it. I liked the pieces separately.
B
Yeah.
A
I, I texturally together.
B
Textures are hard. Texturally. We really need to get some men's fashion going because I, because then I was like, look, I. Because thank you, Danielle. And I was like, but see, I actually don't know. I just, I just, I saw you, I thought you looked nice from afar.
A
It looked good. When I was like, up close, I was like, now that I see it, these are more athletic. Y. This is more summer vacation. What?
B
I'm just laughing because I do the same thing, like, to wrap body on a trip. And it's like, I'm so sorry, like, you don't have another outfit. But I don't like it anymore. I just need you to know. And if they said that to us, World War 3, the night would be ruined.
A
And Actually, the next day too.
B
And I will bring it up many times.
A
Like, remember that time you told me you didn't like ma?
B
Yeah. Like, that would really be bad. So we're lucky that they are just, you know, whatever.
A
I. I can't imagine what it would be like if I had a boyfriend that was, like, really into fashion. Honestly. Like, if he was, like, critiquing my outfits, I'd be like, you can sleep on the street. Like, you.
B
You can go get a hotel. Honestly, I'm sorry. Like.
A
Like, no, no, not in this house. Like, that's just not for me. And some people, like, they love it. They're like, oh, my God. Like, we're both into style and stuff. Like, I think I just am. Like, I'm a little too critical of myself already. So, like, you know, I'm taking it.
B
It would be too much if you knew.
A
I already. I. I am already having a battle with myself.
B
I have my battle.
A
You having the battle with me.
B
I can't handle you also being. Yeah, no, there's only. There's very few things that Ryan would, like, comment scent on, but they hit when he does.
A
Oh, like preferences or whatever. Or like, what?
B
Yeah, like, he doesn't love a headband. Whoa. Yeah.
A
That's so opposite Ben's. Like, hair accessories are fun.
B
It's a very specific headband.
A
It's so funny. What headband? Like, the cotton one, you know?
B
No, I think. Yeah, no, not those. I mean, like, just like, a tip. I wore a headband one time, and I don't even wear these anymore. But the ones that kind of have, like, a knot at the top top, like, they're the fabric. Like, I get it. I kind of look 12 years old. I wore it on a boat ride, and he was like, new headband.
A
And you were like, you're gonna shut your mouth and never talk about this again.
B
I was like, I was having a bad hair day and I was already feeling a little self conscious about it. Oh, my God, I was in a terrible mood. Then we went and did, like, a sailboat ride, and I got over it, but. Oh, was I mad.
A
Really? I. I kind of get that he has, like, random things that he's like, I'll, like, wear, like, a baggy pair of jeans and, like, a baggy T shirt. Oh, yeah. How about a pretty dress? You know?
B
Like, yeah, like, if you' you my opinion, like, maybe address.
A
Yeah. And I'm like, but I feel comfortable in this.
B
But now I like this. And it's like, why did I even Ask. Because now I.
A
No, I've learned not to ask.
B
You can't.
A
You know, it's like a lot of things in my life I just have learned. I feel comfortable, I feel healthy and happy. I feel healthy and happy. So I can't ask.
B
You literally can't ask unless you're prepared for feedback.
A
That's like, when you ask your friend, like, you know, you're getting ready to go out and you're like, what do you. What do you think of this outfit? Like, I'm not prepared. This is my only outfit.
B
Yeah.
A
So, like, if you don't like it, like, I'm out of luck. Like, you know.
B
No, it's so true.
A
It's a vulnerable state.
B
I'm also trying to, like, figure out what to do because I. I appreciate when I ask people's opinions. It's so. It's so tricky with this stuff with the outfit feedback. Because, like, if I'm asking, typically it's because I really do want help. But then there's that small percentage that if everyone else wants you to wear the other outfit, it's like, well, no, I guess I really want to wear this one because I'm mad that you all chose that one, you know?
A
Yeah.
B
But on the other side, like, I'm trying. I want to be better about, like, if you say, like, should I wear this? Not you. Yeah. Oh, I like it. But maybe could you, like, wear buttons or add a belt? Because I'm like, if someone's really asked me, then they really want my opinion, and they. I won't. I'm never offended if someone doesn't take it.
A
So you're trying to be less of a yes girl. Girl.
B
Yeah. And so far, I don't think it's burned me, but I don't know, I get nervous.
A
What do you think? That's real. I feel like it's a delicate balance of, like, you want to be a good friend, so an honest friend, but you also want to be polite.
B
Yeah. You have to get a feel for, like, if they're, like, just wanting a little reassurance. Are they delicate? Are they in a delicate mode?
A
Sometimes I'm in a delicate mood, and one wrong thing, you know, if you don't like my outfit, like, I'm not going out, you know, like, that's it. I'm.
B
I know with you, you know, when.
A
I'm in those moods.
B
Yeah, I love it.
A
No, really, no worries.
B
It's liter. Really so good. No, but you always wear something cute. It's not you. It's I don't know. I'm just. I. I like when people are like, oh, my God, wait, yeah, but what if you try the shoe? And I'm like, you know what? And if I don't like their option, that's fine. I just. It's fun to talk about.
A
Ah, I'm aligned. I feel like sometimes the general, like, it is like, the opinion of someone else, an outside perspective, like, does give you a better opinion. It's like when you post pictures and someone's like, photo number five is fire. Oh, my God.
B
Yeah.
A
Yeah. Wow. I just thought that that was, like, my fifth best photo. That's why I put a fifth.
B
I feel like you said that one time. Like, you said something about posting photos. I think you said it on the podcast.
A
Yeah, no, I was. It's always.
B
Do I always pick bad photos?
A
I picked the worst photo for the first one every time. Comments most of the time on a dump of mine are like, photo number eight. Fire.
B
Fire. Fire.
A
I'm like, holy.
B
You guys had to get photo number eight. Tough. No, I hate those comments because it's like, damn. Like, should I put that first? But we love a comment, obviously.
A
No, it's nice to see from an outside. Outside lens of like, oh, wow, you think that outfit looks best on me. Like, that color, that whatever.
B
Interesting. And it's so crazy how someone could, like, really hate how they look in something. And it's like, you. I'll think, oh, my gosh, you look amazing. Like, it's crazy. And that happens all the time. Literally all the time.
A
Literally.
B
But you can't control that. You can just give your opinion and you can't let go and let. God. Look, look, look.
A
We're just.
B
We can't be stopped. It's also kind of like back to school season. Like, I still think of not, like, actual school, but for some reason, August feels like back to New York. Back to New York. Like, it's. I'm. I'm. I'm really sad that summer's ending. How do you feel about it?
A
I feel sad, too. This was a good summer.
B
It was a really good summer.
A
Summer. It was. It was a fun summer and one that I think I'll remember for a while. Like, a lot of, like, key moments, you know? Like, I feel like you, too, like, you had, like, bit. Yeah.
B
Give me your key. Three key moments, definitely this trip.
A
I mean, this was obviously it. I mean, R and Max's wedding was also fun.
B
Cap. Nantucket.
A
Oh, yeah.
B
So many good giggles.
A
The trips. It's really like, the trips that were, like, so, so key.
B
But not.
A
Not. It's not just about the trips. No, it's not just. It's about the friends you make along the way.
B
Yeah. We've just had so many good laughs this summer.
A
I feel like so many good laughs. I feel like, you know, Wellbutrin, I.
B
Love, well future for you. How do you. How do you feel? Like, do you think? It's like.
A
I feel good. I feel good. I mean, there's still, like, you know, days where I'm like, yeah. I feel out of my mind, insane. And then there's days, like, most days are, like, good. Very, very, very good. And then that's good. Some days I feel like I'm like, God. And then the next day I'm like, literally, why was I freaked out? Everything's okay.
B
Like, it's literally fine. No, I know you. I've noticed you being super giggly. Like, at night. You get. I mean, we know you get the zoomies.
A
I do get the zoomies. I get the giggles. Yeah. I've realized also, one thing about me is that, like, everyone else goes to sleep and I'm, like, up lurking. Have you noticed this?
B
Yeah, it's always like, Brook Glass downstairs.
A
Yeah. Like, you guys are all like. You take off your makeup, we go, like, watch TV or something. And then Brooks just.
B
You go to bed.
A
And then it's like, we all, like, go up to go to bed. But, like, my makeup is still on. I still have to, like, put my clothes away. Like, I still have, like, things to do. And somehow I'm up for another hour or two past everybody else. I feel like I'm, like, up and, like, going around the house, like, tiptoeing around, like, doing my errands. You know, it is running.
B
It is true. Like, you're. I feel like I'll. I. It's usually me that's, like, up with you, giggling a little bit more. And then I'm like, okay, now I have to go.
A
And then I'm up for another hour after that.
B
That and you. When you take off your makeup and do all these things, I feel like I'll look over and you have, like, one hand, like, taking off your eye makeup, then the other hand, you're, like, on tick tock.
A
Yeah.
B
I feel like you really take your time at night.
A
Oh, totally.
B
Which is really.
A
That's my me time. Yesterday, I mean, I was up. I was up, but I was in the mirror taking off my makeup. I think I stared at myself in the mirror for an Hour. I was on a different planet, Daniel. I was absolutely unwell, looking in the mirror, thinking critically about myself.
B
Can you please tell the taxi story?
A
Okay, I'll say it. I took a little chocolate. I'll say I saved it for the.
B
End of the episode.
A
I. I think that you own something that people. That people do. They take a little.
B
Everyone I know. It's like the new thing.
A
No way. Literally all of the.
B
All of the time.
A
I took a little special chocolate. If you know, you know.
B
Yeah.
A
And I just was having so much. I felt so much euphoria at the club. Like, truly. I was in euphoria.
B
Like you were having the best.
A
I was the main character of that moment.
B
Yes.
A
In my own mind. We leave the club, we get in the car to go home. Like an Uber to go home. And I just, I. I love that outside air. Do you? I normally.
B
No bugs.
A
It was really hot in the car. I remember being like, I gotta roll down my window. And like, the air just felt so good to me. So I like stuck my head out the window. We were just making fun of on Summer. I turned pretty, like, because Belly like sticks her hand out the window. And we're like, who actually does that? Apparently me. Apparently me stuck my whole head out the window like a dog. My tongue's like, whatever. And then I felt like a splash of water on my face, on my cheek. And I was like, oh my God, it's raining. Like, I looked up and I was like, is it raining? And then I realized it wasn't raining. It was the tears for my eyes. Because my eyes were full of tears and they're running down my face, but it felt like splashes of water. I was just so euphoric. I felt like I was in a movie. I was like.
B
Thank you for sharing this because I was howling when you.
A
Told us the story this morning. I was, I was on then. I legitimately couldn't stop laughing for about, like, you know when you get in trouble in class, like, they're like, stop laughing.
B
And you're like, I.
A
Now I can't. Yeah, no, I, you know, now I. I physically can't.
B
Yeah. It's like you can't hold your mouth.
A
Together and just at the dumbest things.
B
Literally the dumbest things, like just giggling. I wish I was in that car. Oh my God.
A
I was just giggling. It was a silly time.
B
And then you came back to the house and everyone was trying to be quiet.
A
Quiet like a mouse. Cuz people were sleeping and stuff. It was like late. I mean, we Went to the club. You know the club. Oh, the. Another thing about the club, they were like, show up at 11. We were like, 11, 11. We're going to show up at 11.
B
Show up at 11.
A
And actually, we showed up at 10:30 and we were like, it's a little quiet here.
B
Yeah. We understood why they want us to get there at 11. But I'm still glad we did. 10:30, we would have not made it to 11.
A
No, no, it did start to fill in at, like, 12.
B
Yeah. So noted for Common Ground East. It's also a very big venue. And it's a huge venue. Yeah, it's a huge venue. And I didn't feel like we would have liked to feel a little more crowded. Just saying.
A
Yeah, but.
B
And there were so many people there. But it's just so big.
A
It's a normal us.
B
So I don't know. That's my only feedback.
A
One thing. Yeah. The one piece of advice.
B
But you were giggling in the house and.
A
Oh, I was giggling that I was so loud that at one point I, like, made like, an. I was like, ah. Like, I made, like, a moment, like, noise. I was like, I'm so sorry. I just needed a release. Like, I just needed. Because I couldn't stop laughing. You know when you're laughing so hard and then, like, there is, like, a big, like, downloading because you have the giggles. I don't know if that was just me. I was. I still feel kind of up, honestly, if I'm being honest. I still feel I've had such a weird day. Like, I just feel weird.
B
Taking pictures in cars. Yeah.
A
I'm on a job. I'm like. I just feel. I just feel weird.
B
Like, now we're podcasting and you're looking at me in a striped outfit, like.
A
Sitting on a bra.
B
Mattress wear, literally.
A
Where's Walter? You're in a red striped.
B
Imagine if you had taken some chocolate.
A
You'd be like, where is. Where's Waldo?
B
There are times I want. I'm, like, intrigued about the chocolate.
A
Chocolate.
B
The chocolate. But I'm scared that I would. It wouldn't be good, but I would love to giggle.
A
You always hear about, like, the one rogue story, you know, did you hear.
B
Like, that would be me?
A
No. And I don't want to, like, you know, encourage anyone to do it. But, like, once I figured out that it works for me, I was like, oh, no.
B
Any. I gotta say, anytime you're like, I'm gonna take chocolate today. I'm like, we're in. I'm like, Tonight is going to be amazing. You're a joy always, but, boy, are you a real delight.
A
Well, it's nice for people who don't drink a lot.
B
Yeah. That's why, like, if you're not in the mood to, like, rip shots, which a lot of people don't, or, like, drink a lot or drink at all. Like, it's nice.
A
It is nice. Cuz it's like. And that's like, more my vibe anyways. Like, I like a social feel. I like a, like, you know, happiness.
B
Light and airy.
A
Honestly, that combined with the. Well, Ben, my psychiatrist probably like. Ma', am, you have to stop immediately. I'm sorry.
B
We kept it for the end of the episode.
A
Yeah. Yeah.
B
So now I can't wait. There's. We're gonna get a couple comments about, like, chocolate and, like, only if, you know.
A
You know, chocolate. What are they selling?
B
Thanks for sharing that.
A
Of course. A little.
B
That's nice. I didn't mean for you to share that. I just meant for you to share the story. But maybe they would have thought you were, like, really crazy.
A
Yeah. Then, no, then they'd be like, oh, you. You're not. You're deeply unwell.
B
You're unwell. We need to.
A
Yes, yes. No, this is a universal thing. You start laughing so much, you cry. I laughed. I cr. Actually, when I was, like, going to go to bed, then, like, I kept blinking and tears were still running down my face and. No, I was just. That my eyes were filled with. But I wasn't sad. I wasn't even happy at that point. I was just trying to go to bed like.
B
Yeah. Oh, my God. You're gonna sleep good tonight.
A
Yes. I must have gotten the extra eye water sensation.
B
The extra eye water lubrication. Yes. That was the. That was the box. That's what it said. Well, this was a very silly episode. I really hope you guys enjoyed this. Can't wait for you to come over.
A
Well, maybe I'll bring the tree over.
B
No, no, you don't want to bring. That's so nice. But you would actually have a very red panic.
A
Yeah, no, I don't actually. I don't think it would fit.
B
In any. No, I'll. I'll hire my. My guy again.
A

Hosts: Brooke Miccio & Danielle Carolan
Podcast: Gals on the Go (PodcastOne)
In this lively, audio-only episode, Brooke and Danielle serve up quintessential “girl talk” after a whirlwind Hamptons weekend with friends. Sleep-deprived and sillier than ever, they recap their adventures from influencer events to club nights, discuss wedding etiquette and relationship dynamics, and share stories about beauty fails, wardrobe hacks, and those embarrassing moments we all have when oversharing. If you’ve ever worried about being the “Type-A friend,” needed help justifying a wild night out, or agonized over Instagram stories and FOMO, this episode will feel like swapping stories with your best friends over brunch.

The tone is uproariously candid, self-deprecating, warm, and supportive—the platonic ideal of a late-night debrief with your bestie. Both hosts are unfiltered in sharing their “delulu” moments, anxieties, and the kinds of stories you’d normally keep only for your group chat.
This episode captures the essence of the Gals on the Go podcast: it’s friendship, laughter, small disasters, advice without judgment, and permission to live big and messy—all with a little glam and a lot of heart. Whether you’re seeking commiseration for post-party anxiety or just want the inside scoop on influencer life, the episode delivers plenty of “you had to be there” stories that will leave you feeling like you were.
