A
The following podcast is a dear media production doing something that you're gonna think is so insane.
B
I'm so glad you waited to tell me in person.
A
Your words have a digital footprint and
B
also I know how they do it.
A
And you like low key move in silence.
B
And I don't think it on other people either.
A
I didn't want to send one mass
B
update to that page is ripped out, thrown away, lit on fire.
A
I didn't want to, like, ruin your week.
B
We have a story to tell.
A
It was brought to my attention that. Hey, guys, what's up? Welcome back to Gals on the Go podcast. I'm Danielle.
B
And I'm Brooke. And we're here. We're discussing really professionals.
A
We've got Mel Robbins over here with her glasses. Your hair looks really nice today. I like how you styled it.
B
Really? That's so funny because I was actually in a panic about it. I was like, I don't have time to go the pieces.
A
Like, wait, it looks really good.
B
Oh, really?
A
So you just picked. See, sometimes that's how it happens. Yeah.
B
When you're all thrown together. I was like, I'm doing the seven minute makeup challenge. I, like, had time. I just have poor time management.
A
Yeah, no, totally. I. I've been there before and it's like I wanted to have a relaxing morning. And then now here we are, seven minutes. Have you. Do you ever feel like you've seen the videos too, where people say, I feel like my buns always look the best right before I get in the shower? Like, throw your hair up in a bun to take a shower?
B
No, but I feel like that with makeup and stuff too. Like, yeah, sometimes, like when I. The days that I only put makeup on for a little bit, like, it hits the best. I'm like, damn, this couldn't have been
A
like, the day that I needed it
B
to be really good.
A
I know what you mean. I. This girl made a video where she literally turned on the shower, pretended like she was going to get in the shower just to do a good bun.
B
Wow.
A
I thought that was funny.
B
I mean, I really can't do a good bun, period. So.
A
No. Very difficult.
B
That's my problem. Yeah, it's like, it's like how it sits is my problem. Like, because I feel like I could style, like, the front pieces or, like, however you do that, but it's the back of the bun that, like, I feel like mine, like, juts out.
A
No, I know. We were talking about this, like, how to properly get, like, like the back of your bun to look good. But you know what? I don't know if it's any of my business.
B
I kind of feel that way about my hair. My. Yeah, everything, Everything. If it's in the back, it's none of my business.
A
Yeah. Like, if there. If my pants look weird in the back, if I've got saggy ass, like, I just don't.
B
I don't steam the back.
A
No, no. Steaming the front. Like, as long as the front looks good. Like, remember we were younger and we would always place our hair in the front and then there'd be like a crazy middle part in the back, you know, like the. That's how it is that if you're watching on YouTube, like, you just bring all of your hair. I remember I'd walk around middle school, there'd be like one piece of hair, like, just like a tail in the back. But it was like every piece of hair needed to be in the front
B
because you got to maximize. Meanwhile, it's like we had so much hair.
A
We had so much hair.
B
I feel like when you're young, you don't even know.
A
You don't even flat ironing it off.
B
Oh, of course. Crunch. I literally would just like hear the noise.
A
Comes out of the flat iron.
B
Good.
A
Like, yeah, perfect.
B
Going to hit. Get a good hair day.
A
Good hair day. Speaking of good hair day, after this, I'm going to get my hair done and. And I don't know what I'm gonna do. I still don't know.
B
So why are you really cutting it close?
A
I'm really cutting it close. I know. Because I will. Brooke kind of knows this, but I actually posted about on Instagram, but I was talking about how, okay, extensions are out. I think they're staying out. So what do I do? And we were playing mahjong the other day. You know, we have like monthly mahjong lessons, which I think have been fun.
B
I really enjoy it. I mean, my only concern is that we have too much fun and not enough learning.
A
I know. We really need to, like, set aside an hour before we start lessons so we can really g. Because I think we're also trying to like, chat.
B
I know. And we just have such a good time. Like, it's just. It's a great group. It's like, I know. We're just silly. We have like a good laugh.
A
It is. It is a good time. And I. So I brought up my hair color to everybody. And actually Emily Billings, who is our fourth. Our fourth and our fourth mahjong. And she's a. She's got beautiful brown hair, kind of close to the color that I would do, like this lighter brown. She was like, I'm going to say something crazy. Cuz I was saying I kind of want to go darker or like just like go with my roots but then add like some lighter pieces. She was like, it's spring and summer. Like let's you should do the blonde now. And then darker in the fall. And I was like, ooh, now I don't know what to do. And of course Mads, like rushed to get me in to go tonight. And now she's like, wait, so you don't want to go darker?
B
Oh my God. Why? Because she thought she was getting a transformation out of it.
A
I think she thought she's getting a transformation out of me. And she's like, okay. And I was like, can I still come?
B
Like, is it.
A
She was like, yes, of course. So, because my hair is just. I'm not happy.
B
So we're gonna have to just go on Instagram and see what you have. Are you doing a transformation video? Like, is it gonna be dramatic enough to make a transform know?
A
I don't know. It depends if she convinces me to do. She has this vision of this Haley Bieber, like brown, but with like pops of blonde. But then Emily's in my head, cuz like, yeah, it's spring and summer. Like should I. But I don't want to like fry my hair off. I don't know. Not that. Not that Mads does that at all.
B
No, but I mean, if you go light, like it's bleach. Like, I just feel she's really good at managing the expectation. I feel like she is. She'll tell me I can't get there today. Or like.
A
Yeah, but I just figured I'd say that because it'll be obvious. Like on Instagram, I. My hair hopefully will look different or at least brighter. I don't know, it's just like looking a little ombre at the moment. So I don't like bone brain.
B
Like, yeah, it's so funny because as someone who like, doesn't like, have like, I just do one color.
A
Right? This isn't even a thought for you.
B
And I don't think it on other people either. Like, I really haven't like, looked at someone and been like, she needs a roots done like, right. Genuinely, genuinely. I think in my entire life, with the exception of like, when I've seen my mom when she like has, you know, an inch of gray, and I'm like, yeah, you know, like, just Because I. She usually keeps up with it, but, you know, sometimes life gets in the way. And I'm like, wow, that's jarring. And she's like, no, I know. Like, I have to go.
A
But that's true. Yeah.
B
I really never think that about. I think a lot of things.
A
No, I know, because I was like, you think a lot of things.
B
I honestly think more about hair length and, like, the way that people style their hair, even though I'm not one to talk.
A
Your hair looks great.
B
No, I'm not one. But the color, I literally don't think about it at all. Like, I've never seen a blonde have been like, she better get her ass
A
to do something right, because you don't experience it. Yeah, that makes sense.
B
And, like, people like the lip. Like, I know that some things are intense, intentional, and some are not. So it's hard for me to gauge, like, oh, that's just grown out. Or like, oh, it's a smudge. Like, I don't know.
A
Smudge root. Yeah. You're like, what? Wait, that's so true. Like, that's just something you don't deal with and continue to.
B
I don't have, like, the education.
A
You don't have anything. No. I'm just letting everybody know that my hair will be different in next week's episode. But, hey, I don't know. Hey, hey. But speaking of all of that, I feel like we should give everyone kind of like a gals. A. A company rundown. Of what? Like, where we're at in the world where you're going, all the things. Because we're gals in the ghost. We got to give the trip updates.
B
Gals on the go. I mean, when you're listening to this. I'm currently in Japan, which is so crazy to even say out loud because I feel I. I mean, we've been planning for so long, but I also feel ill prepared at the same time just because it's like, such a massive international trip. I feel like I'm gonna forget something. But I'm. I'm beyond excited. We're gonna be in Tokyo when we're. When this comes out. Yeah.
A
So excited.
B
And there for, like, two weeks. Not in Tokyo, but, like, all over.
A
Yeah, two weeks.
B
And I mean, follow me on Instagram, I guess, to see the live updates of that.
A
So before Tokyo, though, you're going to a wedding.
B
Oh, I forgot that. I thought you meant in real time.
A
Well, yes, yes. No, in real time. But you'll have just been in a wedding in Charleston.
B
Yes. So Wedding in Charleston. Come home for the night.
A
Yeah.
B
And go. Hopefully the airports are okay. I mean, there's a lot of chaos. I'm allowing myself extra time. Are you? Yeah. Or no, you're gonna.
A
But I also. Our friend was just traveling and she was like, guys, the line was a minute long, so I don't know if people are. There's a few bad moments at the airport throughout the week and those are getting posted because I, knock on wood, have not seen that for myself yet. But also, I've been having really early morning flights. I don't know. But even I had a night flight last week and it was fine. I don't know. So. But. But yes, for international flights, like, oh, my God, I got there so early for Spain because I was just like, I'm not missing this flight.
B
Well, it's actually a connection. We're flying, I think, to like, Detroit first.
A
Yeah. When we're going, I think we're flying to like, Seattle first and then Japan.
B
Yeah.
A
I guess. Because you got to get to the west or you're slowly going west.
B
Is that the direction we fly?
A
Yeah. Cuz, like, it's. It's faster from like California to Japan than here. I believe so. It's nice. You get to fly a little over a little more land.
B
Yeah.
A
Okay. You keep going.
B
Yeah. I mean, that was just the flight. I was like, I guess I wouldn't like, that's a better transfer than like a flight to Detroit versus like landing like London or something like, I don't know. Yeah, sounds good.
A
It's a night it breaks.
B
I would be on the other side.
A
No, you would not. But wait is.
B
I need to look into this. So you go west, like, that's how you get there.
A
I believe so.
B
Okay.
A
Because we're flying to Seattle and then the flight is like faster from there, like, because then Asia, I guess, is closer that way than like, if we go to Europe, you gotta. We gotta look at a map. But I do believe that, like, that's why some people, like go to LA for a day or two and then they go to like, Japan or all these places. Yeah. Yeah. See, there's Japan and there's California. So. Yeah. You're going slowly more west.
B
Okay.
A
I know.
B
Headed west.
A
Headed west.
B
But not your honor, though. Like, it's like, I don't. It's gonna be the longest flight of my life. I've never been on a flight that long.
A
Me either. You'll have to let me know. You have to. Are you gonna bring like your Nintendo Switch?
B
I'm bringing so many activities. Yeah, I know needlepoint I've been falling behind on. So I'm gonna bring my little travel needlepoint kit, my Nintendo Switch. I've been playing the new Pokemon game because I literally. I don't know. It's like, Animal Crossing. Pokemon. Like, it's actually.
A
No, I'm addicting.
B
I'm.
A
Oh, this is like, Animal Crossing, you're saying?
B
It's basically Pokemon Animal Crossing. Like, that's.
A
That is so.
B
No, it's literally made for, like. And you can make your little house and stuff. You would really like it. Yeah, no, it's really, really fun. I'm really enjoying.
A
Are you bringing any Pokemon merch to Japan?
B
No, I buy it there. Oh, yeah? Yeah. Like, I'm. We're looking forward to, like, going to, like, the. And then the Pokemon Center. That's, like, the stores that they have. Yeah, yeah. But I'm so excited. I'm just gonna get so many, like, little trinkets.
A
You will like.
B
I'm packing. One of my suitcases is, like, half empty with the intent of filling it up.
A
Option to fill up on the way back.
B
Yes. So do you want a gift, like, from Japan?
A
No, don't get me a gift. I'll be going. But let me know what I should get there.
B
Okay.
A
Yeah. Thank you. That's nice.
B
I've seen people bring back, and I do want to get everybody, like, you know, magic kit. Got, like, a little something? Sure.
A
Yeah, yeah, do it. But I'll be going, so don't wor good unless you see something. Like, Danielle has to have this. Like, if you see, like, a Chanel. No, I'm kidding. You bag a mew. Mew bag, like.
B
Yes, of course.
A
Yes. Bring it my way.
B
Of course. But you're traveling as well. Yeah, like, but you.
A
Well, while you're gone. Okay, so, yeah, so while this episode's up, I will have flown back to Florida to be with my family, be with my dad. My aunt's gonna fly down. Ryan's gonna come down. It's. We're gonna make the most of Easter, and we're gonna do. I don't know what it's gonna look like, but we're gonna go home, and I'm excited to be in the sun because it' chile here in New York just a little bit, so hoping. Excited to be with family, be with Finley, and then I'll get back, have, like, two days and go to Coachella. Wow. Going to Coachella.
B
Okay, so you're home for a sec, then.
A
Oh, I'm home for a very long. Yeah. Because when Brooke. Like, we talk about when Brooke's gone, I'm free.
B
Yeah. No, I. Trust me, I get that.
A
Yeah. You understand. So I was like, family. Don't worry. Just wait one more week, and then I'm off for two weeks.
B
Basically, the company is company.
A
We got all of our episodes in. Don't you worry. I will be there. So, yeah, so I'll be. Be able to be home for, like, over 10 days, which would be really nice. I'm basically going home whenever I can. Like, anytime I have free time is kind of what I'm doing. And then, yeah, I'll come back for, like, a couple days here and then go to Palm Springs for Coachella, and I'm really excited. It should be fun.
B
So fun. I can't wait to hear all about it.
A
I know. I really, really hope it. I. I haven't been at Coachella in so long. I'm so used to, like, Stagecoach chill vibes, so I, like, have to mentally prepare for, like, the influencer Olympics.
B
Are you doing, like, a event Sometimes.
A
And when I say we. Thankfully, the brand I'm going with also invited Clara Purse. So she'll be my buddy. Yes. Very excited. We don't have, like, plus ones or anything, so we'll be each other's buddy. And I think we're gonna, like, get a rental car. You know, Clara, she wants to do the. The outlet malls, which I've never gone to. I heard they're good.
B
I also love the rental car concept because you have a little more freedom.
A
Yes.
B
Like, you know, mornings. It's like, coffee, Coffee. You like. No worries.
A
I know.
B
I hate being. I know you too. Like, you don't want to be an inconvenience. Like, can someone get me a coffee? It's like, just go get it.
A
Like, no. A hundred percent. Because we're actually staying at a hotel. We're not staying in a house. I don't know if I told you that.
B
I just got lip gloss all in my.
A
Oh, I'm glad you're drinking your coffee. I was thinking about it. I was like, brooke loves just two sips of the coffee and it does something for you. It does.
B
It. It's the idea of it. The idea of the copper.
A
No, I get it, but. Oh, yes. But I think we'll be doing, like, revolve fest, because I think it's gonna be fun. This and then also Rhodes doing something.
B
Oh, that's fun.
A
So I'm very excited to check that out during the day? I don't know. No, it's like, on Saturday, I think, during the day. And then there's, like, Camp Poosh. There's, like, nylon after part. There's all these things. I don't know how much energy we're gonna have, though, for all of this.
B
So is it there, like, neon, some carnival?
A
Oh, yeah. I've never been to that. I wonder if that's still a thing.
B
Me neither. I mean, I've. I only.
A
I'm always so tired after. I don't know how people do that.
B
A lot of people don't go to the festival. Can we talk about that?
A
Can we talk about that? People literally don't go. You're so right.
B
And also, I know how they do it. They're on so many drugs.
A
Oh, to. To go to the after parties. Yeah.
B
No, no. Like, if you're the type of person that's, like, you're waking up, you're doing the full day of Coachella and going to the after party, you are on so many drugs, like, you don't even remember being there. Like.
A
Yeah.
B
Or. Or, like, maybe you do, but, like. Think your memory is tainted.
A
Yeah, memory is tainted. No, I mean, you're totally right. That's 100. It's so interesting. Not that the score lights literally at all, but there's no, like. So it's Sabrina Carpenter Friday night, Justin Bieber Saturday night, and then Carol G Sunday night. There's no, like, edm. Like, I feel like every year there's, like, a John Summit. There's a. Something they don't headline, though. They don't ever have. I thought John Summit headlines last year. I thought that's why you wanted to go so bad.
B
No, he was like, the second tier.
A
Oh, okay.
B
So, like, the Sahara tent or whatever. Like, they put, like, the big, like.
A
Oh, I guess you're right. Because they're always on the main stage and there's never really the, like, production.
B
No, they never. They haven't. Like.
A
Okay. Just kidding.
B
Yeah, but EDM has its own. Similar to, like, Stagecoach, like, Country festival. Like, EDM has its own fest. Like.
A
Yeah.
B
Like, they. They don't headline edc. Like, you know, so.
A
Right.
B
And that, honestly, is, like, you know, to the people in the community. Really big.
A
Yeah, true. Yeah. I've never been that one.
B
That's like a really big one in Vegas. And it's like, you can camp, you could do whatever. Like, I don't know if I got that dog in me anymore.
A
Got that dog.
B
Yeah. That's like a big Commitment. Have you.
A
You've done EDC Miami, though? Yeah. Or no?
B
No, I did EDC when it was in New York. They had one in New Jersey. It was like the weirdest, random thing. I was like, I think a freshman in college.
A
Maybe that's what I'm thinking of. I don't know.
B
I don't know.
A
Crazy.
B
Allegedly. I was there.
A
No, Alleged. Ah, silly girl.
B
I'm joking.
A
Very fun. And then it's. Yeah. And then it's your birthday, month, birth month. Will you be in Japan? No. You'll have, like, just gotten. Yeah.
B
And I'm just kind of assuming that
A
that day is gonna be a wash. Yeah. Am I, like, building the date for you? No.
B
I mean, we get back at liter 1am that day. Like, I feel like that's gonna be.
A
Yeah. No, imagine you, like, walk into your apartment. I'm in there with. Yeah. You're like, this is the last thing I need to see right now.
B
I really. And I'm really being so genuine. Like, it's like, next year I'll have a big birthday. Like, I'm.
A
I'm okay.
B
Like, this. The trip is my big birthday. Like, and we're balling out on this trip. Like, this is like, I. I cannot trust that enough. Like, this is like, this is my big one, you know?
A
You will do your big one. I heard on. I was listening to Match Made in Manhattan, one of our favorite podcasts, and they were like, I really hope Brooke does Six Flags again for her birthday. I'm like, oh, she'll be in Japan.
B
Oh, my God. Wait, I met someone. She's probably list at south by Southwest. And she was like, you don't even know how much you influenced me. I had my birthday at Six Flags, too. I know.
A
I was like, the one that you did it at. Or a different.
B
No, a different one. She lives in a different state. But, like, she was like, that was such a good idea. Like, I did.
A
It was.
B
I got a van or whatever for my friends. I was like, oh, my God, that is so cool. Like, I would have never known.
A
Wow, that's. See, you're an influencer.
B
Hey, you, too, can have your birthday at Six Flags.
A
Also, we haven't. We haven't personally talked about or publicly talked about south by Southwest.
B
Yeah. Okay.
A
What was it?
B
So we need to go the gal. The company needs to have representation there. That's the thing. It's like festival meets, conference. You would like it because it gives players.
A
It was giving place live. The photos you were sending.
B
No, I really. And I really. I think it's the type of thing that you have to. Similar to Coachella or something like that. You have to map it out before, like, you have to be like, I got my bracelets for the. The parties. Oh, say I'm doing my panel, but Wednesday, I'm, you know, going to, like, this exclusive thing.
A
Right.
B
Because I went in blind and I didn't know anything. I knew it was like an in and out trip for me because I knew that I, like, had a lot going on.
A
Yeah.
B
So everything was so expensive. I booked last minute. Like, I knew I was going, but of course, I waited the last minute.
A
Of course. Why not?
B
I really decided. I do like Austin. I really have come around to it. When we went the first few times, I think that we got a weird experience. I think that we didn't really get to see the city to the extent I was, like, in the d. Like, where the festival is, like, in the downtown area. Like, it is so, like, it's just cool. I mean, everybody.
A
It is cool.
B
No one's actually from Texas. That's there. But like, you. You get your, like, margs and queso. But then also, like, they're healthy, but they're not healthy. Like, I know it's that kind of. And it's like young 20s.
A
Where did you stay, can I ask?
B
I stayed at the. Because it was limited availability and I still want to, like, a nice place. So the Otis Austin, which was literally on the campus of.
A
Oh, my God. Well, I was just wondering if we stayed it in the same area, because when I went last, I liked the area we stayed in, which was, like, downtown vibes.
B
I wanted. So maybe like. Like, you went to the Marriott to pick up your badge like that.
A
Okay. Yeah.
B
Yeah. I wanted to stay at, like, one of those. Oh, yeah. Where we stayed. The line people were talking about. They were like, the line. The line.
A
That was cool. That's where they had an Alfred Coffee in there, I think.
B
Yes.
A
Right. Yes.
B
No, they have, like, they've, like, locations of everything. I went to this really great, like, wellness spot. Let me give you the name of it. Yeah. Like, really wellnessy. Like, I didn't realize how big of a wellness culture.
A
I know they do very wellness.
B
Let me get you the name of it.
A
That's so fun. And you spoke on a panel. Did you see anyone you knew or were you literally like, I'm in. I'm doing my panel?
B
No, I really. I literally was, like, in and out. I saw, like, some, you know, like, mutual people that are mutual. Friend, like, but no one that you know it would be. Yeah, like, oh, I saw this person.
A
Yeah.
B
You know who I did see? Sorry, I totally forgot also, I'm all over the place. It was called the well if you live in Austin. I mean, you know, like, if don't
A
we have one in New York? The well. Is it different? I think it might be the same. That would make sense because Kellyanne always talks about the well in New York and she is from Austin, so I wonder if she lived in Austin.
B
Okay. Anyway.
A
Do they have, like, massages there too? But then there's like the food area.
B
Oh, I only saw the food area.
A
Okay, maybe not.
B
I don't know.
A
Someone needs to let us know in the comments.
B
But there is a well in New York City now that you. There's like a spa.
A
Yeah. But they do have, like, a little food area.
B
I need to look into this further. Yes, maybe it is. Okay. I saw because she came in like, I was in, like, the speaker room. I'm telling you, you would like this because it's literally like, backstage.
A
Like the green knit room. Yeah.
B
No, I just think that you. We would like it. Like, it's like the adult playlist live.
A
But, like, oh, I would love to go.
B
And the networking really is great. Like, if you really lean in, like.
A
Yeah.
B
You know, you can meet people.
A
It's nice when you have a. Like a. We could both be together. Yeah.
B
And we could have both spoken on, you know.
A
Yeah.
B
I felt like not qualified to be speaking on what I was speaking on. It was like a panel about, like, Gen Alpha versus Gen Z. And I was with, literally the chief marketing officer of Samsung.
A
Wow.
B
And the chief marketing officer of Whataburger. And the president CEO of this huge agency.
A
Oh, my God.
B
And I just was like.
A
And there was you.
B
Yeah, I was like, I post my silly little videos.
A
You were there speaking for Gen Z, I guess.
B
No. So who walks into the green room? Emma Greed.
A
Wow. That. See, that's what I want.
B
No, that. Sorry, that's major.
A
Oh, yeah.
B
I didn't want to bother, but she came in with like, the film, like, documentary style. I was like, wow, this is really legit.
A
They were filming.
B
Yeah.
A
Wow.
B
Stunning. And she is the same. She talked to.
A
She have that aura. Literally works a room.
B
No, I just was like. I was like, literally watching her trying not to stare because, you know, that's a little creepy. But she is that girl.
A
A place by. A place like south by, I feel like, is the perfect spot for her. Like, that's her Vibe that is she.
B
It was like the type of setting that I like, wish I had, like my pitch ready. You know what I mean?
A
Yeah. Something to tell her say I had
B
nothing to say, but I was like, I feel like this would be the perfect time to be like, you know,
A
I'm a business speaker. Yeah.
B
I look at my badge.
A
She's baller. If you guys don't know who she is, she's helped. I mean, skims, I believe. Like good American. Good American. Oh, my God. I'm blanking on Kristen use checks brand.
B
The, like, sports one.
A
The sports ymi. Yeah, that one.
B
The sports one.
A
Yeah, the sports one. All that. Like, she's amazing. Unreal. She has a podcast.
B
Yeah, no, she does. Like, so much business.
A
Like, she's off season. Off season. Had to think about it.
B
Yeah, she's really. That girl.
A
She really. Oh, that's a cool person to see.
B
Yeah, it was a cool sighting. Yeah, that was my cool sighting. Anyways, we gotta go. We gotta plan it, right? I think if not next year, like the year out, like, you know, I. I think the guys, we need to have a. Yeah, because on my badge it's like, oh, like under company was listed gals in the go. I'm here represent, like the company.
A
Yes, the company. I'm. Did you have fun speaking too?
B
I did. I was really nervous. Yeah. This one, I think, because it was my co. Speakers, you know, like, they're. They were. I relaxed once I was like, on stage, but I think I was just like working myself up because I was like, I really could sound like a clown compared to these people, you know,
A
but you're so good at stuff like that and they asked you for a reason, so.
B
Thank you.
A
I'm sure you reminded yourself.
B
No, of course, of course. It's like I've done creator panels before and I've done like. I've even done like larger formats, but I feel like this was definitely the one that I was like, oh, wow. Like, people could be coming to see, like the Samsung girl. And like, I'm, you know, like, I was like, just don't sound like an idiot. That was my goal. And if I help someone and then they did like open mic at the end with people asking questions and I was just like, I. Some of them, I just want to be like, I don't know.
A
But like, you can't. They ask like a question for you or do they say question for the group and someone would just kind of answer?
B
They would say question for the group and then maybe they would Be like, follow up to someone specifically or. Or like. And then the moderator, who was the head of the agency, like, she would be like, oh, Brooke, why don't you take that one? You know?
A
And I was like, great.
B
I literally felt like I was in school.
A
Popcorn Brooks. Yeah.
B
So that was. That was a really quick trip. Oh. And then I, like, had trouble getting home. And you know me, I just.
A
Brooke, text me. And she goes, I'm doing something that you're gonna think is so insane. And it was just. I. I was ready. I was like, tell me.
B
Yeah, well, because I got a thing. The. A text that was like, your flight could be canceled tomorrow due to, like, weather issues. And I knew that like, a storm was coming to New York. And I was like, I literally don't care what storm is coming. Like, I'm getting home. Like, I. I liked Austin, but I was just like there by myself. Like, I felt like I was like, lingering around. Like, I don't know. I. I just didn't want to be there. Like, if I was with people, it would have been fun. I was gonna bring Ben, but then the flights were so expensive. I was like, I'll just go by myself.
A
Like, yeah, in and out, whatever. So then you see this notification and you're like, okay, so if I want to get home, I gotta get home.
B
I was. So then of course, like, I'm emergency on the line with Delta. Like, you know, I've got my. They're so much better on the phone than they are over text.
A
Oh, my God, the text. I don't even do it.
B
No, I just didn't. They're. They're trying to quote me something ridiculous to, like, do some sort of change. And I'm like, if you call them, they do it for free. Like, yeah, Anyways, that's just.
A
So you done that?
B
So what I decided to do, I was like, okay, so if my flight's going to be canceled, I gotta get. I just want to get out of here. Like, that was my goal. I was like, I just gotta go on a flight tonight. I gotta go on a flight. And I wasn't even supposed to leave until the next morning.
A
I know. You had a whole other hotel night.
B
I did, yeah. No, I. But I was like, if there's a storm coming tomorrow, like, I gotta get out of here today.
A
And the day Ben finds out, he was go. If he was going to match was that day as well.
B
So then I'm on the phone with them. They're like, you know, and I. One thing about me Is that I will find a way. Like, I will find a fucking way. The way that I found a way is I go on the airport's website and look at all departures for that day. No, I'm scrolling down. So I'm like. I'm like, seeing, like, you know, at 7, 10, at 7, 15, at 7, whatever. And then, like, I'm, you know, filtering by Delta and I'm like, okay, the options are. And I don't even know if they're booked, But I was like, okay, there's a Delta to Raleigh and then there's like a Delta to Atlanta that was, like, delayed that I, like, could maybe get on. So I, like, told them on the phone. I was like, look, you're gonna get me on one of these two flights and we're gonna make it happen.
A
And they were.
B
Charlotte. Charlotte. Callback.
A
Callback.
B
You know Charlotte. Yeah. She was so helpful. That.
A
She was so helpful. Charlotte from Delta. We love her. You didn't get Charlotte, though.
B
I didn't, but she was real. She was on it. She was like, no worries. Give me the flight numbers. You know, like. Because of course, when they look it up, they're like, I'm seeing nothing. I'm like. I'm on the website right now and I'm seeing two different options, actually. You have to do your own research. Like, you gotta, like, dig deep. I'm so good. I. I really realized, like, I'm pretty good at the, like, the figuring stuff out.
A
You're good at troubleshooting. You're good at, like. You find a way.
B
Yeah.
A
And it's very motivating. It makes me want to be more like that. Thank you.
B
Well, it's just. I was motivated, too.
A
But then Brooks takes me. She's like, okay, I'm gonna get on a flight to Boston, and then I'm gonna spit. I'm gonna get there. Red eye to Boston, take a train to New York. I was like, is that the best situation?
B
No, it wasn't the best situation. There was actually, like, a mess up along the way. I didn't even know, like, there was a mess up. A Delta mess up where they. They were like, can you get to San Antonio? And I was like, sure, I can get to San Antonio. I'll take a flight to San Antonio. And they're like, okay, perfect. We booked you. San Antonio to Boston. That's what it originally was. I opened my ticket before this was. I was about to head to the airport before all this mess happened. San Diego to Boston.
A
Oh, no way. Yeah, that Would be way too much time in the air. Might as well just sleep in an Austin.
B
But I had. But I had no ticket to San Diego.
A
Your ticket was to San Antonio.
B
No, no, she. The person on the phone goes, I booked you San Antonio to Boston. But I opened my app and it
A
says San Diego to Boston.
B
She thought that the airport code was San. You gotta check your airport codes is the point.
A
Yeah, my God. So then you had to call and change again.
B
So then I. So then that's when they were helpful. And I was like, look, I see a Delta. I see this. I've got my bags. You gotta get me on one of these. Yeah, you know, we.
A
We sped to the airport, flying to California. And then. No way.
B
I didn't have a flight to California, though. Like, there was no flight to California from like. So she booked me an impossible option. Do you understand?
A
I don't understand how she booked you a ticket that doesn't exist. It was on your app.
B
It exists. But she literally was like, can you get to San Antonio? I was like, yeah, that's an hour away. Like, I can do that. But she booked.
A
Oh, like, because you were gonna drive to San Antonio, you can't drive to San Diego. No, understood. Understood. I thought it was a flight to San Diego.
B
And I was like, I can't even get to. To San Diego to begin with. So not. It's literally not an option. Like, no one's taking this ticket. Like, I don't know what to tell you. Like, it's not happening. So. So then I had to troubleshoot whatever. I. So then I went Austin to Atlanta. And people. I spent the night in the airport. People. Like, I'm so sorry. I. I knew I was spending the night in the airport. That's the thing. I signed up for it because then I was like, I'm gonna be in the 6am to New York.
A
So no, I'm texting with Brooke. And you know how on, like, imessage it if you have the person's location, it says it under. And I'm. I know that Brooke's going for. Moved from Texas to Boston, whatever. And we're texting. It says Atlanta, Georgia.
B
I was like, brooke, why are you
A
in Atlanta right now?
B
There was a reroute. A reroute.
A
You know, don't worry, I'll be home shortly.
B
And I did get. Oh. And then they. Oh. And then this happened.
A
I meant to tell you.
B
I don't know if this is so boring or not.
A
No, I love this stuff.
B
Mind you, I'm just Sitting in the terminal, just hysterical crying because MASH is coming up. But I'm just emotional videos and, like. And I, like, wasn't actually so sad that I, like, needed comforting. I was just, like, crying, like. Yeah, just, like, I need to, like, cry, like, right now. Like, I wasn't even frustrated or anything.
A
No.
B
Just nothing happened. I spent the night in the airport. I never slept because I was gonna say.
A
Did you sleep?
B
No and ever. Oh, my God. I will put some pictures in the newsletter. Everyone just sleeps on the floor.
A
I know.
B
On the floor with like, a. Like, not even a blanket, like, a sweatshirt over their head. You walk through and you're like, oh, my God, the bodies. Like.
A
Yeah, I'm gonna be stepping over bodies.
B
Have you spent that night in the.
A
I have once with my mom at jfk.
B
Is it like that?
A
With our winter coats? Yeah, it's. It's definitely a thing. It's all you have. One time I bought a sweatshirt at the gift shop.
B
Like, but is it always just people? Sleep floor?
A
Yeah. Where else can you sleep? Unless they have those minute suites I've never used.
B
Oh, they did. They weren't open. They didn't have availability till 4am I went to 1. I was like, I've got the plan. Yeah. I thought about in the bed. Yeah. I was like, you know, it's a little expensive for the minute suites because they are minutes, you know, so you spend more than.
A
Oh, you literally pay by the minute.
B
You pay per hour.
A
Okay. But it's, like, a lot of money.
B
Yeah, that's why. Because they only have some, you know, supply and demand, Whatever.
A
Okay.
B
So I'm waiting in the Atlanta airport. Like, I. I'm, like, making it through the overnight. I'm, like, starting to get delayers. I'm like, look, I'm like, tracking. I'm like, the Chick Play open soon. At least for breakfast. Like, I was. That was my exciting moment of the day.
A
Like, tracking.
B
When things like chick five, like.
A
So you've just never slept? Did you even try to close your eyes?
B
No, I was, like, wired. Like, I feel like I.
A
Would you not sleep on the floor?
B
It's not even like. Like, the filth Objection. Like, it's more so just like, I
A
couldn't would, Like, I couldn't even, like. Yeah, Yeah.
B
I don't know. And I feel like I was traveling alone. If something happened, like, I don't know. I just, like, started getting right.
A
Yeah. If you were alone, that is scary. If you were to miss your flight
B
or something or, like, I don't know,
A
like, yeah, no, whatever. You're so silly.
B
Yeah, I'm so silly. Two hours before my New York flight, I got a text. Your flight's been canceled to New York. And I was like, okay. And I was like, unfortunately, that's not gonna happen.
A
From Atlanta.
B
From Atlanta. And I was like, okay. And I had a feeling that that might happen because the original flight was gonna be. You know what I mean? And I was like, no worries. I'll just go on another flight. Like, whatever. So then I pull up the Atlanta flight trackers. Every flight leaving Atlanta. And I was like, okay. It appears that the first chunk of flights for the day are canceled, but at 7am they resume. So I call Delta. I'm on the wait for 45 minutes. I finally get her. I say, I need you to get me on the 7am ASAP, pronto. And she's like, I got you the. She's like, I can't, I can't. And then she was like, I got you the last spot.
A
I was like, were you at the back of the plane?
B
I think I got upgraded to comfort plus, actually.
A
Let's go.
B
The first one I got up, I kept getting upgrades, so that was good.
A
No, you're amazing.
B
And then I'm sitting there, like, waiting for my flight, and, like, I hear the people behind me and they were like, I was on the 6am but it was canceled. I don't know what to do. And I'm sitting here like, do I
A
got the last spot?
B
Oh, you know, right? Yeah, they canceled every other flight. It was like a whole thing. I will find a way. I will find a way. I'm getting home.
A
And you, like, low key move in silence. Like, you could have totally been texting me, like, oh, now this happened. But you just.
B
No, I sent one mass update to Ben. I was like, like, no worries. My flight was canceled, but I'll be home shortly. Like, I'll be home shortly, shortly. No, I'm like, my mom's like, please tell me. Please tell me what time. Please tell me what time. Like, she's like, track. Because, like, I was like, alone at the airport, like, rogue. You know, she woke up, she's like, you're still at the airport. Is everything okay? Or she was like, I see you haven't departed. Like, are you okay? And I was like, did you hear what I said?
A
When did you. Most likely Japan.
B
Most like, we can say that. We can say we.
A
You. There's bitches. Some funny you do go.
B
I'm sorry. I feel like this whole Episode's about
A
me just rambling like, no, you're such a good storyteller. I'm just sitting here like, ah. If you guys aren't familiar with FP movement, we need to give you the rundown. It's free people's activewear brand.
B

Like, you look good, you feel good. I like wearing fun colors, working out to me, I don't want it to be a chore. So why not, like, dress a little fun? I feel like at FP movement, they have. I mean, they have such, like, feminine, gorgeous styles. Cuts. I. We love the short. The carpe diem short is one of our favorites.
A
Oh, my gosh. I literally am going to Florida and I packed all of my carpe diem shorts because they're so flattering, so cute, but so practical as well. Their pieces all have this, like, performance quality that you really need in your activewear. Like, we've got the sweat wicking fabrics. We. We sweat as gals. Okay.
B

A

B
Spring spring cleaning. We are doing the spring refresh. I mean, I don't know about you, Danielle. I feel motivated. Like, I woke up one day, the sun was shining, it was a beautiful day, and it was like, you know, happy. Well, happiness. Happiness and like, inspiration for me to like, you know, do that. Like spring rebrand no.
A
100. I'm like, Easter, we've got spring. We've got the pastels. Like, it's so much fun to kind of bring that fresh. Like, I feel like I wear lots of neutrals and no color. And then it's like, wait, I want some color. I want some fun home decor. I just want to spruce up the vibes in general. And that's why we love Ross, because Ross has more of the brands you guys love. They've got 20 to 60 off other retailers prices, new looks, new Vibes. And they also don't have like that
B
huge price tag, which is great. I mean, who doesn't love shopping at your favorite brands but like just paying less? I mean, that's what I love. I also love like a store that I can just like stroll through the aisles. I don't feel like Ross is that store. Like I feel like when I think of like, you know, shopping in the suburbs, like getting in the, like Ross is just, it's that fun store.
A
It's that girl. You can get your coffee, get in the car, go run errands. I feel like Ross is always in like a plaza with like other fun. Yeah, get the coffee. I don't know, I just, I'm picturing it now.
B
Very nostalgic.
A
It's so nostalgic. And it's a one stop shop. Like if you need to get a gift for somebody or if you need a dress for an event or you want to get some new throw pillows for your bed. Like it's truly amazing.
B
Yeah, they have really great entertaining essentials too. I feel like now that I'm hosting parties.
A
You've been hosting.
B
I know, but like where am I getting my ice buckets and stuff? Like I want like Ross, I want some good prices.
A
You don't want to like break the bank.
B
Totally.
A
An ice bucket or like candles or all those table things. Tablescapes, if you will. At Ross, you don't just shop. You work your magic.
B
Find your nearest Ross@rosstores.com. we have a story to tell though. About both of us.
A
We do. Like, we don't really get involved in like drama. Tea?
B
Well, you showed up and you said
A
I was so excited. Tell Brooke about this.
B
I'm so glad you waited to tell me in person.
A
I didn't want to, but I didn't want to like ruin your week last week.
B
Oh my God.
A
So I was like. And then I, then I tried to call you but you were cooking dinner at 9pm So I was like, no,
B
this, I forgot to eat.
A
Yeah, look, I love Goodles.
B
Me too. I, my, my clock is off. I'm off. Ben's sleeping.
A
Yeah.
B
Yeah.
A
You were never even talked about that. We were playing mahjong and Ben just rises from the bedroom. I'm like, wait, you were asleep?
B
Yeah, I was like, oh, don't mind him, he's sleeping. It's seven o'. Clock. You're like, he's sleeping.
A
I'm so confused.
B
But it was a nap. We're all like, our clock in our
A
house is just don't even try to get on it. Because you're going to go to Japan.
B
Exactly. It's fine. Yeah.
A
Well, so Brooke and I, we don't like. Well, I'm gonna speak for myself. I don't like to get involved in drama, but sometimes you will. You'll get in there. Not drama, but, like, you'll stand up for yourself, as you should.
B
It's more so that I don't get involved in stuff that doesn't really. No. Well, I mean. Well, actually, I do sometimes.
A
Actually, you do. If you're having a moment, you do. Now that I think about it, it
B
depends the severity of the issue, but more likely than not, I feel like I don't. Unless I'm really, really. I have to be really passionate about the issue.
A
Yeah. Oh, for sure. There has to be passion.
B
Yes.
A
There's no passion. There's. There's no. Brook intensified. So I was made aware, to me, it was brought to my attention that someone we know, an influencer, was posting on an anonymous account, talking about us, about some of our friends, and they did get caught. And it got back to us, and it was just. Just the most shocking thing. And Brooke actually didn't know, which I was shocked because I feel like normally when I tell you something, you're like, yeah, I already saw that.
B
Because when you started telling me that there were tick tocks and stuff made about it, I was like, I can't believe that this didn't get served to me.
A
No, it was like.
B
It was like, not just like, no inner gossip. Like, it was. This was like, you know, like, it's been. It's brought to light.
A
Yeah, it's been brought to light. And so, because I was getting dms, like, girl, yeah, whatever. Like, I would look into this. And so I was like, what's going on? But the moral of the story here, there are awful forums online where you can just bash people. And I always thought that I'm like, I don't know anybody that, like, goes on those, you know, because we always
B
say that we wouldn't be friends with someone who.
A
Who goes on those websites.
B
Like, our close friends. Like, if I found out one of my close friends was posting on there, I would, like, not be friends with them. Because, like, I just think you're a loser, quite frankly.
A
Literally disgusting. The fact that you can go on those websites and be anonymous and say awful, awful things. And I always think about it. I'm like, but if I ever. All those people in person, they would be so nice to me and confirmed because I've seen this person many times, and they're always so kind to me and commenting on my things and all these things. So it's like, wow, that's actually terrifying that there's someone that we know, or there's all these people that are going on these forums and saying awful things about people that they so call love. But then if they were to see them in person, they'd be like, hey, I. Hiding behind it.
B
The psychology should be studied. I'm sure it is the psychology of, like, a troll. And it is so, like, it's embarrassing. Like, that's why you're anonymous. Because, like, quite frankly, it's the. The thing about it, like, it's. I'm not even gonna sit here and be like, you're a bad person. You're evil, you're this, you're that. Like, I. Quite frankly, it's embarrassing and you're a loser. Like, that's.
A
That's the truth.
B
And that's even worse.
A
Like, no, it's literally, like, I am embarrassed for you. And we're not here to, like. Like you said, we're not here to, like, bash on people. But it's just a good reminder that. That words, like, it get you around and you find out.
B
I agree.
A
No, it gets back.
B
This person found out, I guess, quick. Well, you told me it, like, you were like, oh, my gosh. Like, because you brought up this person, you're like, you know this person. I was like, oh, my God. I've literally been in YouTube videos on her channel before. We've done. I've been in her apartment. Yep. She, you know, we've hung out one on one. Like, and that's why I have a vested interest in this. Not even, like, vested interest. Like, one thing about me, I will stand up for myself and my friends.
A
Like, I will.
B
And that there's certain things where it's like, literally, who cares? Like, just unfollow. Brush it under the rug. And then there's certain times when I'm like, I want someone to feel uncomfortable in my presence.
A
Right.
B
I want it to be known that we have an issue.
A
Yeah.
B
Never speak to me again. Don't come near me. You don't know me. I don't know you.
A
Yeah. Like, I'm not gonna pretend to be nice. Like, exactly. I feel like a lot of times I've definitely had stuff where I'm like, oh, but if I saw them in person, like, whatever. I'll give them a hug, of course. But something like this BS like that. Yeah. No, I know, but something like this, even I'm like, like, I don't. You clearly have issues with me, so why would I, like, why? We just won't say hi to each other. So when you said that, I was like, actually, I understand that you just want them to know how you feel, and we just. That can be it. You're not gonna have a brawl in Soho or something?
B
And I didn't, I didn't even say, like, like, I'm upset with you and whatever.
A
Like, oh, yeah. So Brooke DMs.
B
Oh, yeah. So that's how we got.
A
Literally, I'm telling Brooke, we're walking down the streets of Soho the other day.
B
Probably got a show in Soho.
A
People probably got a show. Because all of a sudden Brooke's like, well, I'm gonna message them, of course. And I was like, like, oh, are you? And then I was like, wait, obviously you are like, that's so you. And I was like, you can like, include me in this a little bit. Like, you know. Yeah, for me, I've never hung out with this person one on one, like you have. But, like, I do consider them to be a mutual. And like, we've, I have always supported them.
B
Yeah.
A
So I didn't, like, have a ton to, like, message, but I was like, I'll get behind you.
B
No, no, that was really. I mean, you brought it to my attention, I guess. I wonder if I would have ever even seen it, like, had it not.
A
I mean, it would have eventually come out. Maybe, but maybe. Yeah, whatever.
B
So, So I. Message. I mean, I don't even need to read it. Like, I know. I, I, I basically was just like, this is crazy. Like, a loser for doing this and because I have, like, receipts. That's the thing. Like, there's receipts, there's proof. And you might be like, oh, my God. Like, no, it's like there was like a whole thing and it was like, fact, whatever. Like, it's a fact checked not by me, but by others.
A
Yeah. And confirmed by someone else that who messaged them. And. Yeah.
B
So essentially I wasn't just shooting in the dark. Like, I would not do that. Like, I really wouldn't have gone as hard, like, with a message had I, like, had there been a chance that there was a misunderstanding.
A
Yeah, no, no, of course. Like, there, it's just, it's definitely a thing. And it, it just scares me too, because I'm like, I really hope to God there's not anyone else in my life that's like, I'm so glad we're
B
not that close with. We were never close with this person. I am so glad because. No, when you think about it, you're like, oh my God, this person was going on. I wonder, like, if anyone in her life knew that she was doing it.
A
I know, and let me be clear. And I know you would agree with me. Like, I know that people can change. I know that people can learn from a mistake. And I know that this person will literally never do that again. But this is again, just a reminder. I know you guys, you guys, you guys are our people. But like, yeah, it's just so important to remember. Like, not that what that person said even affected us, like, literally at all. No, it's stupid stuff that we see all the time. Okay, whatever. No, but it's just a good reminder. Like, your words have a digital footprint. Like, a digital footprint different exists. And you have to be so careful.
B
Apparently one of the other posts that this person made was like, how private really is your private Reddit? Or like how anonymous really is your Anonymous? Like, she was gauging how she was trying anonymous well. So, like, she had the thought then
A
of like, oh, like the foresight to be like, oh, I should be careful maybe.
B
Yeah. Because that sort of stuff, I don't really know. I, I. The moral of the story to me
A
is just that Brooke has got not gotten a reply, by the way.
B
No, I have not gotten a reply. I mean, we did a company unfollowing. Yeah, I just am like. But the thing also the posts were very recent. Like, this was as recent as last month.
A
Like, yeah, if they were literally years ago. Like, I again, understand people can change. Like, I. People are dumb. When you're younger, you do not know. But at, at the age of 25 and up, like, come on, when you're
B
approaching 30 or 30.
A
Like when you. Yeah, no, that it's just, it's not okay.
B
And or you have to face the consequences of your actions. Like, yeah, I'm not saying like, shame, shame, shame. Like, but I. The consequences are. You don't know me. You don't know any of my friends. You will stay the away from me because you're a weirdo. Like, quite frankly, like, if you're gonna. If everything that I tell you, you're just. And it wasn't even like she was sharing things. She was sharing, like, opinions on people in her life. Like, it was just weird. It was just weird.
A
No, it's weird. Genuinely crazy that there were engaging with
B
things that were commenting on our Instagrams
A
and then commenting Replying to our stories. Like, oh my God love. Or like your apartment looks so cute. Like.
B
Yeah. Oh my God. Try this restaurant.
A
That's okay.
B
Why are you. And then you're over there. Listen to my conversation post about it. Like, Like a.
A
And this person. I didn't even realize they were so. Like, I didn't think they followed us so closely. I'm going to be real.
B
Me neither.
A
But clearly they do because they were commenting on very specific things in our life.
B
No. And it really does. Like, I know that you guys know this too. Like, and once again, it's not for. But it's like an energy thing. It's like how much energy you put into something. Like if you're expending all. Like, you know, you. You only have 24 hours in a day. You only have $24 in the bank account. Like, if you see it like that. Like, if you're expending so much of your energy invested in other people in such a negative way way. Like you only have one life. Like I. It just like, it's sad.
A
My life.
B
Drake, I've been doing. Loving that emoji.
A
I know you've been loving the pray emoji.
B
Is it a prayer?
A
I thought that's praying or high five.
B
Because someone told me there was a high five once. But I see it as prey.
A
That is definitely praying.
B
Okay.
A
Right? Yeah. Like, I've never. I guess you. No, there's like a yellow light. Like angelic light. I feel like with it.
B
More life.
A
More life. But no, it's so true. It's like I can't. Why would you put energy towards. I'll just. I. We will just never understand. Because that is something like we do. We do not. Like we have. We know people in our life that do go on those websites because they just want to like, see what's up. That's not broken eye. I will. Yeah. No, you guys just keep that to yourself. I will not look. You know, just. No, that is not for me. I do not. I do not need to know. You know, like my friends can tell me if there's an If I'm being weird or crazy.
B
Yeah.
A
No, I completely humble me. Like it. There's people in our life that can do that. I completely don't need those forums.
B
I completely agree. And I'm not going to sit here and be like, I'm a saint. I've never said a bad word about someone.
A
Oh, my God. Yeah. By the way.
B
No, no. And I'm not on my moral high horse. I just Am not someone to bash someone on the Internet like that to me is like the next level. If you want to talk in your group chat, you want to tell someone. Oh my God. Why did Brook Mitch make this post? I literally don't even care.
A
Yeah, actually keep it in the group chats. Send it to your friend. Don't accidentally send it to us.
B
Oh, I know. I've seen those.
A
Ye. Yeah, yeah. Like, oops, that was a little mishap. But. But yeah, no, literally talk your. Send your invisible ink messages for real. But posting it on like posting tik toks about it. Like, it's just.
B
I know. No, no. Commit to commiserate with like the others. Like, that's what it is. It's like kind of like we're like
A
the mentality of all of us together, like just feeling negative together.
B
Speculations on things in our life like that quite like we don't. We're not reading it. So like, quite frankly, like. Like you're. You're speculating, but like we literally don't even know.
A
Yeah, yeah, no, I know, I know. I almost. Like before I even had told Brooke, I considered unfollowing. And then I was like, eh, whatever. And then I was like, actually, no,
B
like I'm gonna hype you up more like.
A
Yeah, you were like, well, obviously we're gonna unfollow. And I was like, you're right actually. Like, why? Like that's just one little thing I can do. I just think it's so like petty sometimes to like unfo.
B
I mean, the message that I sent. Are you serious? Like, then I started rereading. I was like, was I too mean? I was like, no. What. What. What this person did is so deeply strange.
A
And well, it's cuz there's someone also in the industry that's like the. That's the thing. That's why we're so like, oh my God. Like you are literally our peer. Our peer posting about actually like influencer things.
B
Actually you have more followers than me. Honestly, you're more successful than me, which is upsetting. Yeah.
A
Broke fits.
B
I'm like, like you're spending your life like get busy in your own life. That's more so what it is. It's like, it's like. And this is also someone who like seemingly has it all chick going on.
A
Yeah. Just their own like their own life. Like I always, honestly, like always thought they were this really cool person. Me too.
B
Me too. And it's like blown up. Such a facade of like that like she was trying to be cool now instead of like just actually being cool.
A
I know it's really unfortunate. I, I do hope that. And I know, I know she will learn from this. She will never do that again. And I really hope that, that, you know, people that involve themselves in this rethink it because I just don't think positive teacher lesson. I do, I do want. Because I know people make mistakes and then they like hate their life for it. But I. It needs to be said.
B
I feel like my social calendar is filling up with like weddings, like birthday parties, like, honestly, like kids birthday parties. Like work events. You know, we're there, we're, we're booked, we're busy. And I'm so over like panic ordering and like spending a ton of money on things that like, they fit the vibe for one thing, but not the others. I don't know why I would spend hundreds of dollars on new outfits for everything. Because you could just rent clothes from Nuuly for just 98.
A
So many of my friends use Nuuly and are big fans and have influenced me because they have amazing brands on there. They have the best pieces. It's so fun, like planning your newly order. Like, okay, this month I've got a wedding, I have a graduation party and I want a cute like girls night out outfit. You can literally get all those outfits on Nuuly. You get a choice of any six styles. So you rent for whatever you've got going on. So it's perfect. You get that versatility.
B
They have amazing brands on there too. Like it's free people, it's Reformation, it's Lioness, it's Mother Hill House. Like those are the brands that you know, everyone's wearing. Like, I don't. Yeah, I'm not buying a new Hill House dress every time I have an occasion. But like, like, I mean, how perfect are they?
A
They're going to Nantucket. Get the Hill House dress.
B
Yes, yes. Especially if you're like us and you like take photos at every occasion and stuff. Like it's, it's nice to be able to constantly switch up your look and not feel guilty about it.
A
Not feeling guilty is so important. Like they also have Jaded London which is perfect for festival season coming up. Like use newly to your advantage. Like they also have inclusive sizing so they've got options if you're you, you want tall, you want petite plus, plus all of the above.
B
They've got fast free shipping and professional dry cleaning laundry. So that's my favorite part. You don't have to do any of like the cleaning and you could buy what you love at a discount. So we, we're into newly we're into renting our clothes. We're, we're doing that around here. Nuuly is a great value at 98amonth for any six styles. But right now you can get 28 off of your first month. When you sign up with the code GALS just go to n u u l-y.com and enter the code gals at sign up to get get 28 off of your first month. That's N-U-U-L-Y.com newly with two U's and use code GALS for 28 off your first month newly. Subscription clothing rental. Change your clothes.
A
Credit is the name on everyone's lips.
B
You get into your late 20s and everyone's like your credit score. I'm like, I'm sorry, what?
A
No, it's genuinely so stressful growing up and having to, you know, if you want to buy a house, if you want to buy a car, you just, just want to start building your credit. That's why we love Super.com's credit building program. It's like this new easy way to build credit that was made to take those complexities out of building credit. Like it's so, so nice.
B
Yeah, so we've all had that moment maybe where like you realize how important your credit score is or hopefully you guys haven't but maybe it's like held you back if you've like gotten like the decline card or like a car loan or whatever. But Super.com's credit building program is literally like an undo button for maxed out credit usage and unreported rent. You can get a $5,000 credit usage bonus with Super Plus. You can access the super.com card which is a secured card that's going to give you a five thousand dollar credit usage boost. It seems like it's too good to be true and it's not.
A
It's really not. They also aren't doing like a hard credit check to apply. You get 0% APR and there's no minimum balance requirements. So like Brooke said, it's really designed to be a safer way to build credit. It's not like this debt trap app.
B
You can also track your progress in the apps. You can track your credit score in real time which I, we like to keep track of, you know, things and
A
yeah, and you can track your on time rent payments which is really cool. Like you might as well be using all this to your benefit.
B
Definitely and they have a 90 day money back guarantee. So building your credit takes time. Like even the quick solutions, like, no, you got to give it 90 days. Okay, give it a few months. But I'm telling you, this is a track to a. A way to get back on track.
A
Yes. So start building your credit the easy way. Go to super.com credit right now to see how Super plus can help you boost your credit score. That's S U-P-E-R.com credit credit building features are only available to Super plus members. Impact on your credit score may vary. Super.com cannot control factors outside their services that may impact your credit. Visit super.com for more details.
B
Yeah, I do believe in forgiveness as well. Like, I feel like I've gotten messages from. I've gotten messages from people. Like, to be honest, like, you blocked me on my other account years ago. Like, but I' to, yeah, more life.
A
Like love and we can forgive but also be like, we don't need to talk. Like, we, we don't need to. Like, I don't need to talk to her and I see it at her events, but I'm happy to be like, you're good, but no more. Really?
B
Cuz I like, this is so fresh for me. Like, I'm like, you'll have to approach me in another like five to ten years.
A
Oh, no, we don't need to talk to them. But eventually, if it's like, okay, we're good, but just we're not gonna talk. Like, I don't know.
B
Yeah, weird.
A
But we're different in that weirdo behavior.
B
You're like, like a lot nicer than.
A
Well, I. But I'm not prepared to like, give a hug. Like, yeah, some people.
B
Where's my hug?
A
Where's my hug? More life.
B
I kept saying more. Like three times. You just missed it.
A
Oh, you did. I was just like talking, talking.
B
Like, I was like, you're not gonna be my life.
A
More life. Like, oh, I more life. I love Drake so much, guys. I I at a low point, I DM'd Dumois not to share gossip, by the way. I've never done that. I DM Dumois and I said, do you know if Drake's announcing tour anytime soon? She goes, no, sorry.
B
She got back to you?
A
She got back to me. I was really hoping she'd be like, yeah, yeah, more life coming poor soon. Because he keeps teasing all these things. I'm like, what's going on? But whatever.
B
Yeah, so that's that on that. It's a. I Mean, I. I saw. I see you saw it as a lesson. I see it more as a. A story, like, oh, well, yeah, I just hope it eventually ourselves in the drama.
A
But no, no, because people were. People were DMing up. People making tick tocks like. Like, Brooke and Danielle were talked about. I mean, you guys were like, oh,
B
and look, she follows her. Like, so then I was like, I'm gonna clear my name.
A
Yeah, I don't want to clear our names.
B
Yes.
A
Yeah, we don't follow that anymore.
B
Yeah, we don't part. The gals don't support that in our community.
A
In our community. Hate to even give something like this air time, but we were like, you know what? We'll talk about it.
B
It's something that you never think. Like, it's literally real life Gossip Girl.
A
It's literally Gossip Girl.
B
It's like something that you think is never gonna be because it's someone in your orbit that's more. So what it is someone that I like did. I would have considered her. I mean, she was not my close friends. Like, I would have considered her a friend.
A
Was she?
B
Yeah. The last story reply was her replying to my close friend's story. I mean, it was from, like, a
A
while ago, but no one is safe.
B
That's what I'm saying.
A
I'm like, that's wild.
B
It's more so that, like, it makes you, like, then question mine.
A
I don't think so.
B
It makes you, like, question your, like, judgment, everything. And you're like, like, yes.
A
No, that. It's just not okay. So the gals just had a bit of drunk. I took a video actually, of Brooke, like, live or a photo. I took a selfie and Brooks, like, voice to texting.
B
Yeah. Crafting up a message. Yeah, I mean, I did I send the message in the moment.
A
Yeah.
B
But I'm not, like, I stand by that message. And it was not mean. It was just, like. I was just like, stay there. Yeah. Like, honestly, like, I literally. I ended it with, like. Like, I genuinely wish you happiness.
A
Like, yeah, more life. More life. Should we wrap up with that? Yeah, I think we should, like, wrap on. Well, so, yeah, now that this episode's over, you can go look at Brook's Instagram. Tik Tok. She'll be in Japan. Like, I can't wait to tune in. I'll be in Florida. I don't know what you'll see there, but there's just. Yeah, the gals are going to. The gals are going. Yeah. I'm, like, trying to positive, like, End this on a positive note.
B
I know. I'm like, just spread kindness.
A
You really look like Mel Robbins right now. And like, the trend.
B
Yeah. And I'm just like, it says more about them than it does about you. Yeah.
A
Oh, we gotta get Mel in here.
B
What would Mel say about this?
A
I wonder if she would say to unfollow or if she would say to leave it. I feel like she would say to unfollow. She probably wouldn't because she always says you don't need to follow people. Like, she was very into that.
B
She probably wouldn't message because. And I really wouldn't have if I, like, I, I feel like I pick my battles, but as we said.
A
No, Brook, Brook, like, I won't get into it, but Brooke, recently just.
B
I know one time I, I, I did a.
A
Is what I'm thinking of.
B
I spiraled. Yeah.
A
Yep.
B
I spiraled. I did. But
A
you had, like. Can we talk about now how you had, like, couple weeks when you were adjusting?
B
Yeah, yeah. No, there's a few weeks when I think I was, like, smiling a little. Yeah, yeah, yeah, for sure.
A
You weren't spiraling. You were just heated.
B
I was. I think it was more so, like, anger.
A
You were like, I've got things I could use, so I'll just, like, use it on random. Like.
B
Yeah, like, I had, like, a reason to be, like, somewhat mad, but I blew it.
A
Yeah.
B
Up. Really? You know, like, certain things. Like, certain things that, like, I could have had a right to be mad about or maybe even bring it up to someone, but, like, I just took it to, like, like a. A level that, like, it did not need to go to.
A
But it wasn't like this awful thing. It was just like, oh, okay. You like, really?
B
Because, like, sometimes I'm just like. I don't even have the energy to bring it up to someone, but I had the energy. It was like when it was snowing.
A
No, you're sitting in the cabin.
B
Fever.
A
Yeah.
B
I was like, I gotta do something. I gotta start a fight.
A
Like, oh, you gotta stand up for yourself. It's always, like, things to do with you. It's not like just Rose.
B
No, that's what it is.
A
Yeah.
B
I mean, I'll step in and defend a friend or defend someone that I like on the Internet or if I like their opinion. But, like, I'm never gonna like the people. I go hard for myself and, like.
A
Yeah, you go to battle for me and other people.
B
No, Brooks, this person was in my book, and she is. I mean, the page is ripped out, thrown away in the corner, lit on fire like it is. Don't speak to me like. Honestly, seriously, stay the. Away from the.
A
Yeah. We love you guys so much. You guys are the best. We. You guys are in our book in Brooks.
B
Oh, you are. You're always. And you're on the front page, you guys. Oh, you're the dedication. This book is.
A
