How did you get your website to look like that? Mine's so basic. Thanks. I just used WIX Harmony. Sounds fancy. What's that? It's wix's AI website builder. You can just tell it what you want and it builds you a whole site. So it's like vibe coding a website. Exactly. But even better because you can still click and edit anything by hand. You don't have to use prompts for everything. Oh, that's neat. Yeah. Try it for free@wix.com Harmony the following podcast is a Dear Media production.
Brooke
Everyone to submit some voicemails.
Danielle
He gave you guys free reign.
Brooke
Nice to hear your voices.
Brook's Boyfriend
Hi, friends.
Brooke
Hello.
Brook's Boyfriend
I'm back. Brook's boyfriend.
Brooke
Way to change the topic.
Danielle
We don't hate each other yet.
Brooke
Weigh the risk and reward. No, it's hard.
Danielle
Oh, girl, I don't know.
Brooke
You caught those feels.
Danielle
This is 29. Hello, you guys. What's up? Welcome back to Gals on the Go podcast.
Friend/Co-host
I'm Danielle.
Brooke
And I'm Brooke. Happy Wednesday and happy birthday, Brooke.
Danielle
Today's your birthday?
Brooke
Oh, my God. I was not expecting you.
Danielle
We have a little crown for Brooke.
Brooke
So nice of you. Wow, that was such a big surprise.
Danielle
Look how cute you look.
Brooke
Is this going up on my actual birthday?
Danielle
Yes, this is on your birthday.
Brooke
My birthday's on a Wednesday this year. I didn't even know.
Danielle
Thank you for club. Going up on a Wednesday, middle of the week. That was so nice of you, Danielle. Wow.
Brooke
Wow. I thought you were gonna like, do like a pot. Like, he's here.
Danielle
Like, Matt's here.
Brooke
Bring him out.
Danielle
Bring them out. Bring them out.
Brooke
Like a marching band comes through or something. Oh, my God. Thank you so much.
Danielle
Very Relieved that you wore your hair down today because this could have been a big ish.
Brooke
You're so right.
Danielle
But how to feel?
Brooke
Well, thank you so much.
Listener/Caller
Here we are, 29 years.
Brooke
Thanks for spending my birthday with me.
Danielle
Yeah. So a little. We're having a little birthday party for Brookie.
Brooke
Do you want me to wear this whole episode?
Danielle
Whole episode? No, you, you can take it off. But I do think it looks adorable. It matches your dress. Take a look. Fix your hair. Make sure you feel good. You could wear it for the intro. You could take it out.
Brooke
I'll wear it for now. Cuz it's my birthday.
Danielle
Yeah, wear it for now. Let people know. You could take out a little. So tell everyone. How old are you today?
Brooke
I'm 29 today. You know, feeling good.
Danielle
I know.
Brooke
I feel like I, I keep, like, speaking about my life in a way. I'm like, change of chapters and people. Like, you're turning 30. I'm like, no, no, no. Like, I feel like I'm turning 30.
Danielle
It feels that you should be turning 30 this year for some reason. I think just because our friends are
Brooke
30, we have some.
Danielle
Yes. And you're just like, going through lots of change and excitement right now.
Brooke
It feels like close one book open of another. Like 30, like, would make sense, but I'm more than okay with it. Being 29, I got one more year to around and find out and totally, you know, I feel good. Honestly, I feel good. I, I, it's so funny, like, thinking about what you thought your life would look like at 29.
Danielle
I know.
Brooke
I was like, I'm gonna be ancient. I know.
Danielle
29 seemed old to me when I was younger.
Brooke
Are you getting so old? I was like, 29 by then. I'll be like, boring. You know, Like, I, I definitely thought that I would be like.
Danielle
And you're like, peeking.
Brooke
Oh, my God. I mean, I hope I didn't even peek yet.
Danielle
You're not even PJ.
Brooke
I feel like your early 30s are like, I mean, your 30s in general. They say that. Yeah. But like, I feel, I feel good about the years to come.
Danielle
No, it's amazing. And we'll celebrate big next year.
Brooke
Yes.
Danielle
As this episode's going up, I think you're, like, coming back from Japan.
Brooke
I am. Yeah. And I'm like, I said, I'm like, really okay with, like, no big B days. Like, I feel like I have so many other big life celebrations this year that I'm like, like, I'm good, you
Danielle
know, Like, I feel celebrated right now. Yeah.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
I know. It's just so crazy. Yeah, I guess celebrated, but it's. How perfect is it that this episode goes up on your birthday? So that's a little celebration.
Brooke
Thank you. That's so nice of you. That was why you guys really planned.
Danielle
Oh, my God. Obviously, we had to do something.
Brooke
I feel honored.
Danielle
You know, we. We thought about hiring that. No, I'm kidding.
Brooke
Yeah, I. I really am intrigued by the home magicians.
Danielle
Like, Yeah, I see this for you,
Brooke
like, at some point.
Danielle
For me, maybe that's, like, on your Bachelorette. Instead of, like, a stripper, we get a home magician.
Brooke
Yes.
Danielle
Bring them out, bring them out, bring them out. It's. What's that magician we both saw near Washington Square park who was so good I forget his name.
Brooke
Oh, my God. I know who you're talking about.
Danielle
But, you know, he's got that, like,
Brooke
he had, like, a residency.
Danielle
Yeah. You don't think he's there anymore?
Listener/Caller
No.
Danielle
Darn.
Brooke
I don't know. I mean, I guess I'm not sure. I haven't been too. I'm not too in the magic scene.
Danielle
Oh, my God, guys, a couple weeks ago, I don't know why this, like, broke my heart. To this day, it makes me so sad. Brooke texted a few of us, like, hey, guys, like, Zara Larson's coming to New York. Does anyone want to go? And none of us could.
Brooke
No, but I.
Danielle
And it, like, makes.
Brooke
I really wanted to go. Like, I would.
Danielle
Like, you're giving Zara Larson right now, like, colorful happy birthday, Dolphin.
Brooke
Yeah. It's apparently a great concert, and she's playing really small venues. And after this, I just know she's going to play, like, huge venues. And it's in Brooklyn, not far from me. I am so busy. I can't, Like, I really should not go. Like, I really, like, I. But I just was like. Let me put it. Like, if anybody's like, oh, my God. I also was dying to go. Like, Then I was like, it's fate, you know? Yeah.
Danielle
It was just so cute because you don't always, like, try to go to a concert unless you really want to see the person. I was like.
Brooke
And then I. I put myself out there and I asked someone else, and she was like, I don't know who that is. I was like, I want to die. Like, I. Now I want to die. Because you tried.
Danielle
You really tried, though.
Brooke
But now.
Danielle
And I don't want that to discourage you.
Brooke
No, but I. I, like, the resale tickets are not cheap, and I am honestly, like, I just have so much like, it's fate.
Danielle
She'll probably do Lollapalooza or something soon.
Brooke
She is doing Lollapalooza. How'd you know that?
Danielle
I didn't. That's. But she. Spiritual PR Premonition. As Brook's been having all these premonitions.
Brooke
I have, and a lot. A few of them have been coming true, which is. That's scary for you guys, because watch out, world. Watch out.
Danielle
I know one involves me, and I'm like, I hope it's true. Hey, hey. You never know.
Brooke
Hey. It was like that one week. Is Mercury out of retrograde?
Danielle
Oh, girl, I don't know. I don't follow that. I do horoscope. I do. I just.
Brooke
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know, I know, I know, I know. I don't really. I don't usually either. But, like, when something's, like, really off, I'm like, mercury must be in retrograde.
Danielle
Right? And then I like, yeah, yeah. Is that the same as the moons I'd look at with the. If it's full moon or not? That's.
Brooke
I'm like, no, I think it's different. It's like, different planet movements. Isn't it, like, our alignment with Mercury?
Danielle
Oh, that would make sense, because they're
Brooke
on different acts, like.
Danielle
Right, right. So totally different planet we're talking about.
Brooke
Totally different. It's way out there.
Danielle
Like, way out.
Brooke
No, I. I really want to go,
Danielle
but what do you want for your birthday?
Brooke
Way to change the topic.
Danielle
Oh, no, no. You're just wearing this birthday crown.
Brooke
What do I want for my birthday? I don't know. My mom gave me money and was like, buy yourself. She wants me to, like, buy myself a watch in Japan, which was really nice. I was like, I do fear that this may be.
Danielle
This won't cover. Very sweet Mom. We could use it towards it. Yeah.
Brooke
And she was like, no, tell me how much it ends up being. I was like, probably not going to
Danielle
do that, but yeah. That's so.
Brooke
It was so sweet. What do I want for my birthday?
Danielle
I like, what should I get you?
Brooke
Like, oh, yeah.
Danielle
You're like, what do I get?
Brooke
I'm like, tell me, honestly, I could use a new wallet.
Friend/Co-host
That's personal.
Danielle
No.
Brooke
Is it?
Danielle
Oh, my God. I would love to buy you a
Brooke
new wallet, but I'm not.
Danielle
I'm talking, like, a car.
Brooke
Yes. Like, nothing. Like, you do not have to ball out. I'm just saying because I feel that. I only say that because I trust your taste, and I feel like we're in the Same. Like, that's the budget that we typically spend. Like. Yeah, no, it is a card holder. Budgets.
Danielle
Like, that's like, oh, my God.
Friend/Co-host
I actually had.
Danielle
I saw one the other day that I thought was gorge. So maybe I'll go. Is it like, I'll film a vlog of me buying you a card holder.
Brooke
Is that a good gift?
Danielle
That's great.
Brooke
I hope that's appropriate.
Danielle
That's. See, that's. See, it's like, you didn't tell me. Exactly. But you're giving me, like, a thing.
Ad Voice 2
Yeah.
Danielle
And I like that.
Brooke
Okay.
Danielle
So happy birthday. Hey.
Brooke
Hey. And that's something you like. It is personal. You do want to, like, try it on, whatever. But it's the type of thing that you keep pushing off. Like, you're like, I don't need a new wallet. Like, I certainly don't need a new wallet. Like, you could literally be falling apart. And you're like, who? I don't need a new wallet. Whatever.
Danielle
I know. For some reason, I just. It's actually, you know what? The card holder I'm using was a gift, so. Hey, hey. It's not that personal. I guess.
Brooke
I understand what you're saying. I feel like for guys, maybe a little more so. Because I think the money clip and the guys, they have more preferences.
Danielle
But, yeah, I guess both you and I bought our boyfriend's wallet, so you know what? Who cares?
Brooke
Yeah, we did. It was like.
Danielle
Or you did it with Ben.
Brooke
It was like wallet shopping, like, because he was very specific. He was like, no, do not, like, the full. Like, was Ryan specific about it or.
Danielle
Not really. No. I just, like, looked at his and I went and bought one. So actually, it doesn't matter. But I do think, like, for girls, it's like, it's very like, do you want a card holder or do you want one with zips? But okay. Card holder.
Brooke
Card holder. But I would like it to have enough room for some cash. So not super tight, like, you know, like a little bit like, of a thicker gargle.
Danielle
I'm actually glad you said that.
Brooke
Okay.
Danielle
I forgot you're big on the cash.
Brooke
Yes. You know, I got my wad.
Danielle
Brooke always. Thank God she's the friend that's like, I got cash.
Brooke
You now do, too, though.
Danielle
Do I?
Friend/Co-host
Sometimes if I know I'm going to
Danielle
be with you, I'm like, I got to hold my weight. Because it's like, so. I mean, you would never say a thing, but you definitely are always the person with cash. And I feel bad.
Brooke
Someone has to have It.
Danielle
I just need everyone, like at hotels and stuff. I need everyone to just wear like
Friend/Co-host
a little Venmo badge.
Brooke
I agree.
Danielle
Because I would really. You'd get some big tips from me. I'm not even kidding.
Brooke
You're so, so right. I feel like we're moving towards an age where like, legit, no one has cash except for like our parents generation.
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke
So like, we do need to start.
Danielle
Even my parents haven't had cash recently. I'm like, damn, we're screwed if you
Brooke
guys don't have it.
Danielle
Yeah. Like, I've had a couple and my mom's like, no, nothing. Right. I'm like, oh, that's like, what?
Brooke
That My parents are so old school like that.
Danielle
But your mom's got cash.
Brooke
You have to have like small bills though. I just went to an ATM and it was like, how many ones you want? I think I took out like 50 ones.
Danielle
An ATM allow. It's always 20s.
Brooke
The Chase funds, they let you do.
Danielle
Oh, oh. Maybe the ones like connected to a bank. Sometimes they let you get a little more specific.
Brooke
Can we also talk about like ATMs? Like, I always feel like I'm like primed to get robbed after I go into an atm. Like, it's very vulnerable because literally people are watching you, like, put a card in, take money out, and then they just know you're leaving with just.
Danielle
I know dollar bills on you.
Brooke
Like every time. I'm like, this would be the perfect time to rob me.
Danielle
Just conveniently slip by and grab what's in your hand. Totally. It is crazy though, how we all like know to. You like, stand like five feet behind someone and you. I like, try to purposely make it look like I am not looking. I'm like, I don't see the code, the pin. No, I am literally not here. And sometimes in the city it's hard cuz it's not this big area. You're kind of sweet. Whatever.
Brooke
So I found a good location of a chase that's. And there's a security guard standing there,
Danielle
which I. Yeah, that is nice because
Brooke
sometimes it's just machines and someone walks in and. Well, because I went to another place where it was just machines and they had like mirrors on them so that you could see if someone walks in. But I was like, I feel like someone's gonna creep. Like, I don't know. I don't like that that I have to like keep my back.
Danielle
It's just psychotic. I'm giggling because it's like you, you have a bank, you go, do Like. Like.
Brooke
And it's not even.
Danielle
This is 29.
Brooke
No. Yes. The funniest thing is that I don't even have a chase. Like, debit card. Like, I don't. Like, I use chase for a bunch of, like, yeah, other things, business, whatever.
Danielle
But, like, not personally.
Brooke
No. Like, my bank. I don't have a location nearby. So, like, I just. Yeah, but I've got my favorite chase, like, that I go to.
Danielle
You've got your chase.
Brooke
I've got like. Like, adult is, like, being, like, the. When you say, like, the grocery store, like, you know what grocery store you're referring to?
Danielle
Y.
Brooke
You know what I mean? Like, oh, I'm running to the grocery store. Like, you don't have to say, like, I'm going to Trader Joe's. It's like, you just have the grocery store 100.
Danielle
That's actually really true. I don't have that, though, because, like, sometimes we do Trader Joe's or we order from.
Brooke
But you're not 29, so.
Danielle
I am not. You're right. This isn't. This isn't 27.
Brooke
20. No, 27 is much, much, much younger. Much different. Yeah.
Danielle
Wow. So officially, you're two years older than me again. You've been waiting for this. I've been waiting for this. We were 27 and 28, and now
Brooke
people are always consistently shocked. Not that you don't. Like, you definitely look 27. But I feel like, because you hang out with mostly people that are older, I feel like people are always like,
Danielle
oh, my God, you're so young. I'm kidding. I'm kidding.
Brooke
No, they're shocked that, like, we're two years apart. They're shot. Like, I do feel that they are.
Danielle
People are constantly shocked because it is the most confusing thing that we are not friends from college.
Brooke
Yeah, that. That's a confusing.
Danielle
Like, we met literally when I was in middle school and Brooke was in high school.
Friend/Co-host
Like that.
Danielle
Like, people that are close to us, I think sometimes forget, like, oh, my God. I always forget you guys knew each other before college or people don't know we met in college, obviously. Yeah. Or knew each other.
Brooke
Each other. I know.
Friend/Co-host
The Lord goes deep.
Danielle
Yeah. You guys listen to a podcast with friends of over. Over 10 years. I mean, I just say 10 years, but it's definitely.
Brooke
It was. We met in 2012, so now it's. I mean, I'm not good at math, but isn't that 14? No, that's 12 years. No, that's 14.
Danielle
14. 14. When we hit 15, that'll be like, fun to say. Like 15 years.
Listener/Caller
15 years.
Danielle
Our founding father.
Brooke
That. I mean, that's a long friendship.
Danielle
I know.
Brooke
Hey.
Danielle
Hey. Here we are. We don't hate each other yet.
Brooke
Yeah, I know. I really, like, we always say that we haven't had, like, huge falling outs with, like, close friends. I feel like there's people that like, fade away, but, like, fade away.
Danielle
No, there. There's certain types of people.
Brooke
Strong friendship though, over the.
Danielle
For sure.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
But you're right. There's certain types of people that like, like to have big blow ups.
Brooke
Yeah. They're like, we blew up and we're out.
Danielle
Like, we are not friends anymore. Like, I don't. Hi. We have people that we're not friends with anymore. But it's not because of anything other than like time or location that you're
Brooke
in or like, just. We grow apart.
Friend/Co-host
Yeah.
Brooke
Honestly, growing apart, I feel like is the biggest reason at this point in my life. Like, and it's. I don't blame them. They don't blame. Like, I don't think that's what I literally just like, what are we gonna do when we hang out? Like, we don't have the same interests anymore.
Danielle
I know. It is what it is.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
And that's what it is.
Friend/Co-host
Well, happy birthday.
Danielle
Also, like we said, you'll be coming back from Japan. Please tell everybody that story.
Brooke
Danielle just got such a kick out of this story.
Danielle
I did. Maybe it's just me.
Brooke
It's so funny.
Danielle
They think it's funny.
Brooke
I think it's funny too.
Danielle
It's not even a story. It's literally a comment.
Brooke
I think it's so funny. I've been getting some really silly comments.
Friend/Co-host
This episode is sponsored by Better Help. I feel like financial stress is something we don't talk about enough, but it's kind of always there in the background. Even when things look fine on the outside. There's this underlying pressure, like, am I doing enough? Saving enough? Making the right decisions? And I think what's hard is that money stress doesn't just stay about money. It shows up in your mood, your sleep, your relationships. It can make you feel anxious or even a little stuck. And sometimes there's this layer of shame around it, like you're supposed to have it all figured out.
Danielle
I've definitely had moments where I felt
Friend/Co-host
overwhelmed trying to navigate everything. And I've realized it's not really about having all the answers. It's about having the tools to deal with the stress that comes with it. That's where therapy can actually be really really helpful. Not for financial advice, but for understanding your relationship with money, working through the anxiety around it, and building health ways to cope so it doesn't take over everything else. Better help makes it easier to get started. They have over 30,000 licensed therapists and they match you based on a short questionnaire so you can focus on what you actually want to work through. And if it's not the right fit, you can switch therapists at any time. I know I have friends that ask me, like, I'm so scared. What if I don't vibe with my therapist? Like, you can literally switch. It's not like this whole thing. They want you to be happy, they want you to feel safe in your conversation. And when life feels overwhelming, therapy can help. So sign up and get 10% off@betterhelp.com Gals that's better. H lp.com Gals okay, I feel like when people talk about energy recovery and performance, they immediately jump to like workouts, protein or supplements. But something I've been learning more about lately is how much gut health actually affects all of that. Like if your gut isn't in a good place, it doesn't matter how on top of it you are with everything else. Your body just isn't absorbing things the way it should. It should. Your energy can feel off, digestion is off. It really impacts everything. And that's where Momentous Fiber plus has honestly been such a game changer. I used to think fiber was just about digestion or staying regular, but it's so much more than that. It actually plays a huge role in energy stability, recovery, focus, and overall performance. What I like about Fiber plus specifically is that it's not just adding random fiber into your routine. It's a complete three in one formula with soluble fiber, insoluble fiber, and a prebiotic resistant starch. So it's supporting your gut from start to finish, helping feed good bacteria, improve digestion, and keep your energy more stable without those spikes and crashes. And you guys know I'm really picky about what I'm putting into my body. So everything Momentous makes is super clean, science backed, no artificial additives, and it's all independently tested, which I love. If you're someone who feels like you're doing all the right things but still not feeling your best, this might honestly be the missing piece. Right now, Momentous is offering our listeners up to 35 off your first order with promo code GALS on the go. Just head to livemomentous.com and use promo code GALS on the go for up to 35 off your first order. That's livemomentous.com promo code. GALS on the go. You guys already know. I talk about this all the time, but skims really doesn't miss when it comes to intimates. I feel like I've tried so many bras and underwear over the years and my biggest issue is always comfort. Like things either dig in, don't stretch enough, or just don't feel good to wear all day. And that's honestly why I keep reaching for skims. Everything is just soft, stretchy, and actually fits the way I want to. Like, I love the underwear. Like it's one of those things where once you try it, you're like, okay, I need to replace everything I own with this.
Danielle
It's just that good.
Friend/Co-host
Like genuinely, my whole underwear drawer is skims. I've also been wearing their new everyday cotton collection and I'm obsessed. I feel like they read my mind because I've been wanting to switch over to more like cotton basics, but it's so hard to find pieces that are both comfortable but still full flattering. They also have an amazing everyday cotton scoop bra. It's that perfect everyday bra that you can wear under anything. It's super breathable, really soft, and just lays so nicely without feeling restrictive at all. So if you're someone who prioritizes comfort but still wants things to look and feel really cute, this collection is definitely worth trying. Shop everyday cotton and all of my favorite bras and underwear@skims.com after you place your order, be sure to let them know that we sent you select podcast in the survey and be sure to select our show in the dropdown menu that follows.
Brooke
And I did, like, because I was making a lot of videos about it. Like I was like, oh, you know, like what is match day? Like whatever. And the first video that I made, it got a comment that got a lot of likes that was like, you're gonna move with him even if you're not. Wait, you're literally not engaged. Why would you move with him? Or something like that. And then I replied to it with like a video being like, hahaha, like if you listen to gals on the go, you know, like what? Because you guys, like we've talked about it and like whatever. And then I think someone commented like on that video, like wait, but actually like are you going to get engaged? And then someone replied to that and said yes, she will be engaged soon. Most likely Japan.
Danielle
It's like, do you know, do you know something? I Don't. Most likely Japan.
Brooke
Most likely, yes.
Danielle
So that's my stim of the week. I cannot stop saying.
Brooke
And I posted that I'm preparing for Japan and I was like, let me know if I'm forget. Like, if you guys just went like, if I'm forgetting anything. They were like, make sure you your nails, Brooke.
Danielle
Like, oh, they're gonna love your Japan nails.
Brooke
Wait till you see it coming. I just know it's not coming. Like, we. There's been discussions. Like, I was like, I literally was like, option to not propose in Japan.
Danielle
Like the option of not know because then he's roaming around Japan with his ring and you would eventually find it. Like.
Brooke
And I do want to be like nearby to friends and family. Like, even if it's not that exact day, like the next day.
Danielle
Like, option to see your friends next day option.
Brooke
Like, I like the options.
Danielle
Yeah. You know? Yeah. I guess he could do it at the very end and then. But I literally know nothing, guys. Ben will not tell me a thing and it's so annoying. He's locked jaw, guys. And I did find it. It is a tick tock sound and it's like a transition. It was like a thing. Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, that was called back to last week.
Brooke
I'm gonna take off my hat. Off my silly hat. Yes.
Danielle
Thanks for putting it on.
Brooke
Happy birthday. Thank you.
Danielle
Happy birthday, Brooke.
Brooke
Thank you.
Danielle
You got. You should keep. You should bring it to Japan or. No. Is it. Will you literally be on like your flight back?
Brooke
Yeah, no, I get back at like
Danielle
3:00am like, wear it in premium select.
Brooke
No, I'm first on the way back.
Danielle
Oh, you're first on the way back.
Brooke
So I can do the first class, premium select Vers. First class beauty routine.
Danielle
Yes. Showing the pros and cons of both. Yes.
Brooke
I'll be like, you know, I didn't fully wash my face in premium select, but.
Danielle
So you'll be on the plane. Oh, at 3:00am yeah. Yeah.
Brooke
Then I get back. I'm just assuming that the jet, like I'm. I gave myself like two days off because Nikki told me that the jet lag is nuts. So I just am like, well, I'm gonna just give myself two days of like, nothing.
Danielle
Yeah. Mickey's. Our nails. Our nail nails. Nails. Nail gal who is also going to be in Japan at the same time as Brooke.
Brooke
Yeah. And she goes all the time. I feel like she's an expert. She's giving me all the tips. I love like when people are like, oh, let me tell you, like, when they feel like they're like. Yeah, they're actually experts. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Danielle
In Mickey we trust.
Brooke
Totally.
Danielle
We both have, like, crazy nails right now.
Brooke
Crazy nail day. Yeah, yours are great.
Danielle
Mine are Coachella nails.
Brooke
I had Coachella then when this is.
Danielle
I've just gotten back. Oh, no. Yeah, I've just gotten back. No, it's the. It's the April 9th, so hopefully my life will have changed and seen Justin Bieber, maybe met him. I'd like to meet him.
Brooke
Oh, is that your goal?
Danielle
I'd like to meet Haley and I'd like to, like, just be next to just rub elbows. Rub up. Rubbing elbows with Justin. I really, I really hope.
Brooke
Do you think Taylor would go? Didn't she go last year?
Danielle
Taylor of the Swift kind?
Brooke
Yeah, her and Travis went to Coachella last year. They did.
Danielle
But weren't they at like, Diplo or something? Like, more like. Like, she wouldn't. Oh, Sabrina. She loves Sabrina.
Brooke
Yeah, she does. Like, Sabrina. She went. No, they went to Chris Lake. Because that's how it was. Chris Lake remix. And he was caught your fire aesthetic lick. Yeah.
Danielle
Oh, my God. And then they made that song.
Brooke
Yeah. It's like, okay.
Danielle
I. I feel like since she was at Coachella last year, people would be looking for her this year. So she won't go. But I would love to hope that she's.
Brooke
I think she's been laying low.
Danielle
She has been laying low. Like, where are the paparazzi photos?
Brooke
When's the wedding? Do we know when the wedding is?
Danielle
No, wait, girl. Do we know when the wedding is?
Brooke
My thing is, like, how does she have that many tight lipped people in her life? Like, I feel like there's got to be someone that got a wedding invite that's a cousin or a plus one or something that like leaks. Like, I just. That's crazy to me.
Danielle
I agree. But also, it's Taylor Swift. Like, I don't know.
Brooke
Do you think she makes them sign an NDA with the invitation? Maybe, but then I feel like we would all know. Like, Taylor Swift makes everybody sign an NDA.
Danielle
But not if you aren't supposed to tell people about the NDA. I don't know. I just. I think that if I was invited, hey, I might be invited to sweating. You just don't know because I will not tell you. Like, if I were invited, you're like, come on. If I were invited to house with wedding, like, and she said, you literally cannot tell anyone, even your mom. Like, I wouldn't. I want to go to that.
Brooke
Really? I just Like, I don't know if I can make that promise. Like, I feel like I would. The whole point of me going would kind of be to, like, tell my sister.
Danielle
I would hope you could say after. I just mean, like, beforehand, leading up. Oh, yeah, after.
Brooke
What's the point of going if you can, like, be like, hey, the cake was delicious. Like, I don't know. Like, I want to know what the. I want to know what color scheme she chose. I want to know the font on her invitation.
Listener/Caller
I know.
Danielle
I feel like we'll get more content than we think. Yeah.
Brooke
Okay, well, that's for. That's. That's for later, anyways. Other celeb sightings and things like that. You're gonna have such. You're rubbing elbows. I can't wait to hear who you rub elbows.
Danielle
I know, because I feel like it's
Friend/Co-host
very, very buzzy, and I. I think
Brooke
you need to start studying. I need to get you a face sheet because I do fear that in some ways, your celebrity recognition skills could be improved.
Danielle
Oh, they're terrible. That's why I bring Delaney with me.
Brooke
Yes.
Danielle
They're awful. Who am I with? Clara. Oh, I don't think she'll be good either.
Brooke
We got to start studying now.
Danielle
Yeah. I need to have a good like. Okay. These are the influencers. These are the celebs. You need to be on the lookout for it. The reality. I feel like it's been the reality. Stars need to really be out.
Brooke
Yeah. But I feel like there's going to be music people, too, that, like.
Danielle
Oh, music people that I should study. You think?
Brooke
No, obviously, you know, everybody knows, like, big artists, but, like, I'm trying to think of more, like, niche artists that might, like, be with the big, like.
Danielle
Right.
Brooke
You know, because some of them are friends. I don't know. I know.
Danielle
No, you're completely right. I need to, like, be on.
Brooke
On guard.
Danielle
I know. Hopefully my outfit's slayed. We'll see. They're still in works as of now, as of current. Anything else you want to say before we get into our little episode here?
Brooke
No, I don't think so. I think we can get right into it. We asked everyone to submit some voicemails, which we love a voicemail because they're always so fun. We hear your voices, your beautiful voices.
Danielle
It is nice to hear your beautiful voices. And you guys always give.
Friend/Co-host
I mean, we.
Danielle
We gave you guys free. Free range. So, honestly, we haven't listened to these, and we're gonna. We're gonna find out together what you Guys have to say. And if it's advice, we will answer
Friend/Co-host
as best we can.
Danielle
If it's a question, we will answer. If it's just something you want to say to us, we'll listen.
Brooke
I know when that line.
Danielle
Oh, yeah, Hotline gals is open now. Let's go. All right, this one's anonymous. I mean, they're all. We're gonna keep them all anonymous.
Listener/Caller
Hey, Danielle and Brooke, I just had a question about being a business owner or starting your own business. My best friend and I are starting to own our first business and wanted to know if you had any advice just with starting your podcast business in general.
Brooke
Well, the thing is, the gals didn't properly set it up until, like, two months ago.
Danielle
Oh, guys. Literally last year, we walked into a bank.
Brooke
We went to the.
Danielle
Yeah, we went to a bank, and we said we'd like to start a business together. So until this point, we didn't legally have a business together. We got paid out separately. Everything.
Brooke
We had two separate businesses. So I guess, like, we were operating, but, like, we didn't have, like, a con. Like, there was, like. I know. So we. To be completely frank, we did not do things like the. The normal.
Danielle
We had a contract in the sense of, like, with our podcast network, I guess that bound us.
Brooke
Sorry.
Danielle
But yes, high level. We do have ran a business together for so long because, I mean, we got to get a podcast episode out every week. And I'm really, really grateful because I think both of us do. I think the biggest thing is we each have had our own busy seasons in life. Right now we're both in a busy season, I feel like. But it's really like recognizing, like, some weeks you're going to have a stronger week than I am, vice versa. And you can easily get really hard on yourself, and it's good to, like, keep yourself in check, be like, oh, I feel like they've done a lot more. Like, I need to pick it up, whatever. But I feel so grateful because I feel like if I need you to pick it up, like, you, yeah, will do so much more for me, vice versa. But, like, it's really easy to, like, resent someone for that too.
Brooke
Yeah, I know. I know what you mean. I think it's also, like, before you even start, it's helpful for us that it's like, every Wednesday, we need to have an episode. Like, we have, like, a shared baseline, shared goal, a deliverable every week that needs to be met literally by contract by, like. So I think having. Assessing, like, the first Level, like, what are our high level? And I don't like making goals either, but almost like a deliverable or something that you're gonna be like, okay, this business, you know, we're gonna sell at the farmer's market every Saturday. Like, and we have to do it, like, whatever it is. Like, you need to have, like, the things that.
Danielle
That's so true. It's like every Saturday. We know this. Okay. If you've got a wedding, you need to help me find a substitute for that week or whatever it may. That's a good example. Yeah. Actually, I wonder what the business is, but it is a really exciting thing. Like, I feel like so many people say, don't go into business with your best friend, but also, there's so many pros to doing it. Like, if you're doing it right and it's something you're both so passionate about and you're already talking anyways. I mean, it has brought Brooke and I closer, so. And we're really lucky for that. Obviously, some people that hasn't happened, but I feel like if it's not supposed to happen, you kind of have feelings before you're starting to work with someone. Like, ooh. Like, it should be easy to strike start.
Brooke
I was gonna say if someone's dragging their feet to start, I feel like you don't want to, like, convince someone to start it with you. I feel like it should be, like, mutual excitement or like. Yeah. I feel like there's been, like, times in my life where you know when you're, like, messing around with your friends and you're like, oh, my God. Like, we should. Like, I feel like before I even did the podcast with you, like, just random ideas.
Danielle
Yeah. Like, of course.
Brooke
I'm like, we should start a bikini line or something. And it's just like, yeah. Haha. Like, and it gets brushed under the rug. Like, it's probably brushed under the rug for a reason.
Danielle
Yeah. You know, like, there wasn't enough passion behind it. I totally agree. That's a fun question. I'm excited to hear more. Let us know how it goes.
Listener/Caller
So, hello. I just need advice. I have a question. What should I do if I caught feelings for someone that I was only supposed to be seeing for fun while they're just in town for a few months?
Danielle
Love is love.
Brooke
I know it's hard. You caught those feels. Well, then you have to weigh the risk and reward. The risk is that if you say something and they're not into it, then they cut it off. Currently.
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke
You can't see them for the rest of the months. But the reward is that, you know, if you try to fully pursue it, you could have a lifetime of happiness together. So for me.
Danielle
I know. I think we're both in agreement in that, like, if you're having fun, why would you stop? Especially if they're, like, 100 interested in the moment as well. I don't know what the full discussion's been. Is it, like, you know, once I move, Like, I don't like long distance. I don't. If they've told you they don't like long distance, then maybe not. I don't know.
Brooke
Yeah, I guess. I mean, you could also just wait till, like, right before they leave if you like the way that things are flowing right now to, like, break the news of, like, I.
Danielle
Right. I mean, they. As in the other person that they're talking to, because this person sounds like, whatever, that's really, really so hard. But I just think, like, why would you waste these months of love? And, yeah, there might be some heartbreak, but that's the beautiful thing about love. Like, or that's beautiful thing about heartbreak is that that means that you were with someone that you loved and you really enjoyed your time and you're sad it's over. Like. Like, I don't know if it's worth not doing at all. I don't know. Maybe I'm crazy.
Brooke
Crazy.
Danielle
But that's.
Brooke
It's so much easier said than done, though, to be like, oh, confess your feelings. Like, I get it. Like, and I would be, like, pooping my pants and be, like, so nervous.
Danielle
So, like, I poop in my pants.
Brooke
I get you.
Brook's Boyfriend
Hi, friends. Okay, so I'm back. If you remember, I'm the one who told you guys that I was pregnant
Danielle
before telling anyone else.
Brook's Boyfriend
And I'm so excited to share that we're officially 22 weeks babes. And I've told all my friends, and they were so excited. It's so fun. But I just wanted to say. I wanted to hop on and just say that. Think. God, Brooke's boyfriend matched to a school in New York. I was, like, really stressing how this is all gonna play out. And then whenever y' all had Katie on the podcast, which we love. Katie, love, love, love. I was like, no, like, are you all gonna, like, replace Brooklyn Katie? I was starting to get a little, like, stressed out. But anyway, can you. All good. All good. Everyone's staying put. That's how we like it. I was just gonna say, if you guys wanted to give us a little Advice. Because I think this could be just so fun. Maybe you could even just share. Like, I love the behind the scenes of, like, the brand trips and stuff, but. And I love how, Danny girl, you were sharing your. Your, like, clothing hauls from the trip and, like, how you piece together outfits and stuff. I don't know about you guys, but I feel like I have the hardest time putting together cute outfits. I don't know what it is. Like, do you guys go on Pinterest and, like, create a board for, like, every season? Or do you guys have someone, like, help style you like?
Danielle
How do you. Oh, she got cut off. Love her voice.
Brooke
No, wherever you're from her, she's so, so sweet. Oh, my God. It's a good question. How do you put together outfits? I feel like you have more of, like, a approach.
Danielle
Okay, wait.
Friend/Co-host
Why does spring make me feel like I need to become a completely new person?
Danielle
Like, suddenly I'm over here.
Friend/Co-host
Like, I need new outfits. Our apartment needs a reset. I need to host something outside. Like, who am I? Is anyone else in this boat right now? But honestly, I kind of love it. It's like that shift out of winter where everything just feels lighter and you want your wardrobe and your space to match that energy. So this year I've been leaning into that refresh moment and I've been shopping at Ross because they literally have everything for that spring reset in one place. Like, if you need a cute outfit, they've got flowy dresses, easy sandals. Just those pieces that make you feel like you have plans, even if you don't yet. It makes you want to make plans, that's for sure. But it's so fun to, like, run your little errands, get a coffee, go to Ross. Because also your apartment, your home, same thing. Spring is such a good excuse to switch things up. You can add some color, maybe a nice throw pillow, make it feel more like a vibe again. I'm talking, like, little decor moments, hosting pieces, even stuff for, like, outdoor hangouts. I don't have an outdoor space, but if I did, I would be going to Ross and decorating. The best part is Ross has the brands you love at 20 to 60% off other retailers prices. So you can actually do a full retail refresh without spiraling over the cost. It's giving new season, new energy, slightly better version of yourself. We love at Ross. You don't just shop. You work your magic. Find your nearest ross@rossstores.com. i've had a couple moments recently where I wanted to get a gift for Someone who was graduating or a get better soon kind of vibe.
Danielle
But I didn't know what to send. And I want something that's going to
Friend/Co-host

That's bakedbymelissa.com gals on the go for 20 off your order. Baked by melissa.com gals on the Go. Enjoy because you're gonna be obsessed. I feel like this is something we don't talk about enough, but it's so real. There are just certain phases where your body is like slightly off and you can't always pinpoint why. It could be workouts, hormones, stress, stress, literally anything. But it can throw off your balance and just make you feel not as confident. And I think what's tricky is it's not just physical, it's mental too. Like if something feels off, it kind of affects how you feel in your body, your confidence, even your relationships. So I recently learned about O Positive and their Euro vaginal probiotic.
Danielle
And I was like, wait, this actually makes so much sense.
Friend/Co-host
Euro is a specifically formulated vaginal health helping balance phone. It supports healthy vaginal smell and it maintains healthy vaginal flora. It's made with four strains of Lactobacillus probiotics plus prebiotics to make them more effective. And what I like is that it's not a quick fix. It's more about supporting your body consistently. You take two capsules a day and they Say most people see noticeable benefits within about eight weeks, sometimes even sooner.
Danielle
And honestly, when things feel bad, balance
Friend/Co-host
just makes such a difference in your confidence and overall comfort. If you've been feeling off or just want to be more productive with your health, this is something to look into. It's very proactive. So take proactive care of your health and head to oppositive.com gals or enter gals at checkout for 25 off your first purchase. That's O-P-O-S-I-T-I-V.com gals for 25 off.
Danielle
I. I think you do. I think we both dress ourselves nicely.
Brooke
Yeah. I mean, I don't have a stylist very clearly.
Danielle
I work with a stylist every now and then. If it's like, certain events or. I. I don't know. I know I, like, want all hands on deck or I don't have as much time to get, like, creative. Like, I want to, like, try something new. I feel like is when I'll use a stylist. But no, I mean, I feel like I'm just chronically online a lot of times. I mean, not in the sense of TikTok trends. That's more Brooke. But, like, I'm online a lot and I follow a lot. I follow a lot of fashion girlies, and I'm just looking at what they're wearing and I see what makes sense for me. What I like. Pinterest. We both do Pinterest, right?
Brooke
I, like, haven't been recently, but like, yes, I do. Yeah.
Danielle
It's a good form of social media when you're like, I just want something mindless. I don't want to compare myself to anyone. Like, it's great. I have a board for every year. I used to do by season, and then I stopped. So now I do, like, outfits. 2025 outfits, 2026. And just anytime I see an outfit I like. Because also you could be traveling and it's like, oh, I'm going somewhere a little bit. But I have a ton of warm stuff pinned recently. But then a couple months ago, I have cold stuff. You know, it's just good to have one big year of outfits. So that's what I do. But I feel like people definitely do go on Pinterest and they're like, what should I wear today?
Brooke
Oh, well, I will do, like, white shirt, black skirt outfit. Like, and when I. Or if I have a piece that I don't know how to style, like, there are definitely times when I do that. I bring my iPad into the closet. I'm like, what do I have that, like, resembles this?
Danielle
So you'll search the two pieces on
Brooke
Pinterest or even just one piece. Like, I'll be like. Like, if I have a specific, like, black polka dot maxi skirt outfits, like, I have right now, I have one, and I'm like, I mean, I could just wear it with a white T shirt, black T shirt, but, like, I'm sure that people style it in way more unique ways and, like, you know, ways that I wouldn't think.
Danielle
Or like a trench coat outfit. Yeah, it's like, how style. Wait, I really, really like that.
Brooke
That's a helpful way to, like, style specific pieces. I. I'm also getting really into. I'm trying to get more into, like, brands I like and finding them and being like, it's okay if, like, a lot of my pieces are from one place. Like, I. I think I used to try to be like, I want a collection of, like, all these different. And, like, if you have a brand that fits you, that you like, that you know your cuts, whatever, like, you feel comfortable in, like, that's huge. So I think I'm trying to, like, I also.
Danielle
What are the brands or you haven't figured out?
Brooke
Realization. Realization Par. Is that what.
Danielle
Oh, yeah. That's how I, like, made a big
Brooke
order of them recently. And I. They're, like, gorgeous dresses that I just feel so good in, honestly, like, that dress. Yeah. I've been obviously very into Aritzia. Like, I just. I feel like the pieces all go together, and I feel like I stopped shop. Not intentionally, but, like, I just hadn't shopped there in a while. And I did again, I was like, this is just, like, good stuff.
Danielle
No, it's so true.
Brooke
I'm trying to think of other places that, like, I'm. That, like, stand out. I had, like, a big Cezanne Arab. I'm, like, not really in that anymore, but I feel like, you know, when you lean into.
Danielle
I always love Abercrombie.
Brooke
Yeah, of course.
Danielle
My whole outfit's from Abercrombie now.
Brooke
Yeah.
Friend/Co-host
I'm.
Brooke
I'm like, where else are the clothes that I'm wearing from you?
Danielle
Like, Reformation.
Brooke
And I, like, did so well. Brandy Melville.
Danielle
Really?
Brooke
I went when I was in Austin, actually, like, a little secret side quest. I just, like, walked into it. I was like, oh, this looks good. And I just didn't try anything on. I was like, all right, whatever. It's all one size anyways.
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke
If it doesn't, I'll just give it to a friend.
Danielle
Right. It's also cheap.
Brooke
It's so cheap.
Danielle
It's so cheap.
Brooke
And I, I mean like they're just mix and match basics essentially.
Danielle
Right.
Brooke
And I, I like that.
Danielle
What'd you get? Like shirts like tees.
Brooke
I got some maxi skirts actually. And I got sweatpants. Those pair of sweatpants that I was wearing from Mahjong were from Brandy Melville. They're just like, I don't know, like, just comfy.
Friend/Co-host
Yeah.
Brooke
You know, and then I got tank tops. I got like a camo tank top.
Danielle
And that's fun.
Brooke
Yeah. Like, good basics.
Danielle
Good basics.
Brooke
No.
Danielle
Thanks for sharing. I don't have. Yeah, I don't.
Brooke
Not that I'm like, oh, that's one that I. But I mean, that's where I've shopped recently. Yes.
Danielle
Yeah. I always love. Like the other day you texted me and Katie like, where are you guys? Buying wedding guest dresses.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
Like it's so true. Like there's just so. Like I feel like I always just go on revolve and I'm just not happy. But I told you Dillard's. At least in person. I was shook at the amount of wedding guest dresses. Like low key. They slap.
Brooke
No, that's good because I do feel like revolve is great, but it's either. I would say that and I love it and I'm prepared to spend on wedding dresses, but I do feel like they be. Can be really expensive or everybody has them. I feel like it goes in one direction or the other.
Danielle
Yeah. It's like everyone has. Including myself. Like the normal Kamali dress or whatever.
Brooke
Yeah, yeah. No, and they look great and they hid for a reason. Trust. Like, I love it, but I feel like sometimes I want to be a little different, you know?
Danielle
Yeah. 100. Well, congratulations Miss Girl on your pregnancy and thanks for all the updated. And no, Katie is not replacing me, but she probably will come on the podcast again cuz we love her.
Brooke
Yes. No. And no one's getting. I don't think that either of us have the authority to replace the other. Like I. I don't think that. I think that it would have to be one of us voluntarily walks away. Like I. I do fear that it would.
Danielle
It would be a very big deal. Okay, here's the next one.
Listener/Caller
Hi, gals. You've talked in the past about things that are chic. I think it's very chic to have a signature gift that you give to people.
Danielle
Whether it's a small celebration, a thought of you, or a Housewarming gift. What would you say is your signature
Listener/Caller
gift that you like to give to loved ones?
Brooke
Oh, my God.
Listener/Caller
Such a good question.
Brooke
I do love that. But do I have a signature gift?
Danielle
Like, I don't really think I feel like you do. I don't know what it's flowers.
Brooke
Like, I mean.
Danielle
No, no.
Brooke
I've.
Danielle
I've started a new signature gift for people that get engaged. I've started getting people the abode embroidered tank top that says, like Ben's fiance or whoever. Like, I've gotten those for two people that have gotten engaged recently. And I was like, I think that's just gonna be my thing that I get the brides.
Brooke
I've gotten a few people ring holder.
Danielle
That's a good one also for engage engagement.
Brooke
Yeah. I mean, I've done a lot of, like, I've done a vase with flowers. Like, I've done pictures. I did like, you know, the. For you and Ryan. I. I do like going on Etsy for like, the more personalized gifts if I have time. It depends like, what timeline we're working with. Yeah, I'll be working with the parties tomorrow or like in three months. Because that honestly depends how far ahead
Danielle
you think about it. I. I've started doing, like coffee table books for. For like a housewarming gift. I think that's really nice.
Brooke
I mean, you got me the frame photo. I feel like a frame photo always hits. I actually have gotten that as a gift. I got like Ben's grandparents, like, for their anniversary frame photo of the family. Family. Like a nice frame from Bloomingdale's. Like. Yeah, love that.
Danielle
Yeah, that is really nice.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
Because it's also. It's more about the act of, like going to get it framed because I feel like, of course it's not like, so expensive, but it's like, oh, this is something like they probably wouldn't get around to doing for a while.
Brook's Boyfriend
No.
Danielle
And that's a nice thing to do.
Brooke
And everybody likes a family photo, like, out on their whatever. But yes, I've gotten. I've got a lot of things I've gotten. Like, you know where I've been? Like, if I really am trying to, like, be bougie, like on gifts, this is like, I'm so funny because I'm literally like a free water bottle. But then, like, I'll go to this place for gifts. Like, I lit. I literally make no sense. Like, I just. Just bear with me, guys. Tiffany. Tiffany has great gifts. No.
Danielle
Wow.
Brooke
Not talking, like, the fine. Like, I'm not Silver and stuff. Like, you can get like a set of two mugs. I mean, it's expensive, don't get me wrong. But it's Tiffany. It comes in the wrapping. It's literally looks like. Like people, like, literally, like, you shouldn't have. And you're like, no, no, no. Like, you'll see, it's okay. Like, you know, or like a nice, I don't know, like, serving dish or something. Like, you can get things that, I mean, they, once again, still expensive, but it.
Danielle
Still expensive.
Brooke
But there's also something about the act of, like, having it wrapped and everything for you and having it like the present. Honestly, the presentation goes so much further than you think.
Danielle
No, you're so right. That's. I think that's both of our signature gifts is we'll get, like, you can go on Gucci's website and look at their home stuff and get like a Gucci mug.
Friend/Co-host
Like, there's.
Brooke
Yes.
Danielle
I think. I mean, I love receiving gifts like that.
Friend/Co-host
It's like, I would literally.
Danielle
I just bought someone an engagement gift.
Friend/Co-host
I got the Mermes mugs.
Brooke
Oh, wow.
Friend/Co-host
That's really nice. I know, Daniel.
Danielle
That's really nice. Yeah.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
But it's like, such a good gift to do.
Brooke
The websites are nice. I mean, if you have the capacity to go in. Or capability, I should say capacity. And to go in person. Like, they wrap it. Like, that's when they, like, really get fancy with it.
Danielle
Yeah. Because you can do, like, the wrapping online, but in person they do the bows and you're so like, do you
Brooke
want a second bag for it? Like, they're not stingy with the bags. Like, they're not. Yeah. I. I mean, this is. That's obviously if you're trying to, like, really go far. I also, like, Emma, send flowers. Send big by Melissa, like, as well. Like, just so.
Danielle
Oh, my God. That is like, always sending flowers no one's never gonna want. Not everyone's always excited about flowers.
Brooke
I. I completely agree.
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke
You can also go to Trader Joe's and plant people. Like, I. I've done that for, like, I feel like family gifts. Like, if we're going to, like, my aunt's house or something, I go. Go to Trader Joe's and get, like a lily. Like, you can get, like, an ordinary
Danielle
potted plant, you know, I love that. Yeah, that's really nice. Okay, we got another.
Listener/Caller
Hi, Danielle and Brooke. My name is Suzanne and I'm from New Jersey. I am currently in my bridal era. So I just wanted to know when
Danielle
you guys get married one day.
Listener/Caller
Who would you guys want as your bridesmaids slash maid of honor, if you thought about that yet, and what your
Danielle
dream bachelorette destination would be? We literally talk about this all the time. Anytime there's, like, a lull in conversation or Brooke and I have been together for so long, we're like, okay, so let's list our bridesmaids. So we won't be doing that on the podcast.
Brooke
Well, I really thought about it, like, and I could change my mind, but, like, I don't think I'm gonna do bridesmaids mic drop.
Danielle
Brooke, this sucks.
Brooke
No, but I would. I. I really would have you be the man of honor. Like, now you're like, wow. Oh, my God. Of course. Like, I mean, who. Who else would I have be the man of honor? Like, I feel like this is.
Danielle
Okay. So no worries about the. No bright guys. Brooke just, like, straight up told me that on live.
Brooke
Yeah, I've really been thinking about it. You know, I've been really thinking about it. I'm just, like, I don't need my friends to, like, all be wearing. Like, I. I don't need. I don't need to, like, approve my friends dresses. Like, I just. The process of doing it, like, I'm just, like, I.
Danielle
Because you've been involved.
Brooke
I don't want to be that person because it's. It's my day. Like, I just want to have fun. Like, I don't know. Like, I just want to have fun, like, you know?
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke
And I've really thought about it. Not that I'm trying to be, like, so. So different and whatever, but I have heard of people doing.
Danielle
I don't think Bridget's doing Bridesmaids acquired style. Yeah, I think she said that.
Brooke
Yeah. Well, she's having her sister be the maid of honor. Right? Yeah. And I don't have a sister.
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke
No, I want my brother. I would want my brother and Ben's sister to be involved in the way that would be, like, important to me. But I don't know how then the ceremony goes. I don't know. I haven't really thought about that all, but I just. I have really come to terms with the fact that I don't think I want to have bridesmaids. I also don't really know what the Than, like, getting ready looks like if you don't have bridesmaids. Like, I might still invite some friends to get ready with me. I don't really know how that goes.
Danielle
Right, Right.
Brooke
But I also could see a world
Danielle
in which, like, Maybe you don't want to get ready with anyone.
Brooke
Like, it's you and my mom.
Danielle
Like the live shows.
Brooke
Your mom could come too.
Friend/Co-host
And
Brooke
it's literally a live show. We're getting ready for a live show. Yeah.
Danielle
And you know, it works.
Brooke
Yeah. It was chill. Like, that was good vibes.
Danielle
It was chill.
Brooke
Okay.
Danielle
A lot of people, you do get, like, really stressed out. I get a lot of people.
Brooke
I. I could see.
Danielle
I do too, by the way. But I. I could see. Honestly, that's you thinking ahead, but I
Brooke
would rather just like meet up, like, and then we just have party, like, you know what I mean?
Danielle
Oh, my God.
Brooke
I'm like, so stress free and like, you know.
Danielle
And you want a bachelorette, though?
Brooke
Of course. Of course. No, no. And that would be.
Danielle
That's where everyone.
Brooke
Yeah. And I don't need it to be like, these are my. My bride squad. Like, I.
Danielle
My bride squad. Yeah. I don't see that for you, but like a bachelorette with themes.
Brooke
I want a proper bachelorette. Like, party. Like, I want to party. Like, I want nights where it's like,
Danielle
we went out and you wore white and.
Brooke
Yeah, of course. No, no. And I want. I want, like, party, like, I want to get like a tables one night. Like, you know, like that party mostly chill. And then, like, you know, you go
Danielle
to bed one night without taking your makeup off.
Brooke
Yes.
Danielle
Yes.
Brooke
That's a proper bachelor to my eyes. Yeah.
Friend/Co-host
Do you.
Danielle
I forget, have you said where you would want it to be? I like said. Name a couple of places.
Brooke
I feel like I like, said Cabo, but now.
Danielle
Oh, yeah, you did say Cabo, but you've now you've done about.
Brooke
And now I've done out of the country bachelorette. And I'm like, I don't know if it's worth it. Like, it was so much fun and so amazing, but it just, it does add a lot of extra steps.
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke
And especially, I mean, I would try to be considered given that my friends probably will have, like, children and stuff at this time. So I, you know, I try to,
Danielle
you know, like, that's so nice of you. You don't have to be considerate of that. Like, it's about you.
Brooke
But I, like, want them to come.
Danielle
They will. They will come.
Brooke
Okay.
Danielle
People are. People will not miss your wedding, bachelor. I'm telling you now. Okay.
Brooke
All right, well, so the destination, I mean, obviously somewhere warm and then like tbd.
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke
Anyways, you're done. You don't have to list everybody.
Danielle
I'm not going to list My bride Spades. I. I don't know.
Brooke
It's a working. Hey, just be nice to her and you might.
Danielle
Yeah. They know who they are. You guys know who you are?
Brooke
Bride squad.
Danielle
My bride squad. No, yeah, it. But the list is like a couple people have gotten bumped off recently. Yeah. Not. Not in any bad. Like not just like.
Brooke
But you also had a. We always talk about this. D has a lot of friends, you know, A lot of friends.
Danielle
Well, I definitely still don't know what I'm gonna do about like the different pockets because I've got that, you know, like.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
But you know, the more. I mean now some of them are starting to get married and I'm not.
Ad Voice 2
I'm like.
Danielle
Okay, so noted. Perfect. That's great.
Brooke
Totally.
Danielle
You know, I'm like, I'm not part of their bridal party.
Friend/Co-host
No worries.
Danielle
So you're not mine? Not, not like that.
Brooke
No.
Danielle
But like I actually feel better.
Brooke
I feel the same way. It's almost. I feel the same way also about wedding invites. Like, you know those people that were very like not lose friends with but like friends like kind of teetering and then you can invite their wedding. You're like, actually we're good.
Danielle
Like it's actually.
Brooke
Actually less of a stress for me. No.
Danielle
Yeah. There was a couple in the last year that got married and I was pretty shocked we weren't invited. And I was like, okay, then I guess we just won't invite them to ours.
Brooke
Of course. No.
Danielle
Like.
Brooke
And you. And they set the standard. It's not bad or anything.
Danielle
It's making it easier. It's actually kind of nice getting married on the second half.
Brooke
Yes.
Listener/Caller
The group.
Danielle
Because we can kind of see, you know.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
Because I do feel bad for like our friends that got married first cuz they like. I feel like they felt like they had to include everybody.
Brooke
Yeah. And friendships change over time and. Yeah.
Danielle
Yeah, yeah.
Brooke
Okay.
Danielle
Yeah. So yes, I will be doing bridesmaids. But. And I. I've said this for years and I still say it. My bachelorette would be in Miami.
Brooke
It should. As it should be.
Danielle
But the. But I. I've talked about this before too. It's like. But then I want it to be at the one hotel. But then we're not all like, maybe
Brooke
they have a mega suite.
Danielle
Maybe they have a mega suite. That would be really fun.
Brooke
You know, I'll get to the bottom of this.
Danielle
I will be perfect. We'll put Brooke on it. She. If you give Brooke a task, she will do it.
Brooke
Yeah. I don't Want to plan the whole thing. Like, that's a big. I mean, I'll help, obviously, but I. No, no.
Danielle
I mean, yes. No, you got to put a couple heads together. Yes. Yeah.
Brooke
But I just know I want you to like it, so I want you to, you know, make sure that. But more so, like, if you give me the task of, like, Brooke, you need to make sure we get the biggest room at this hotel. I'm on it.
Danielle
Like, was it you or.
Friend/Co-host
No, this was Clara.
Danielle
She just was on this Vegas bachelorette, and they were. She did it where it was like, everyone got, like, card holders, which I thought was so cute. And then in it, you have a key to the mega suite. So maybe there's one area that's like a meeting area. Like, you want there to be a living room you can all rot in.
Brooke
I know. I wish. Mariah and Bailey, what did you guys. They had they room together, which was hard. So their room was kind of like. But it wasn't like a mega suite. Like, they were all the same rooms. There wasn't even an option. We tried to find.
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke
This room.
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke
But it was just that style of hotel.
Danielle
I know. It's something to think about, because I agree.
Brooke
I think that that's the nice thing about houses.
Danielle
A common area.
Brooke
But getting groceries and like, no, no, no, no, no, no. And it's honestly dirty and disgusting. It becomes a zoo.
Danielle
Like, yeah, I. Someone asked me this recently, like, there's a wedding coming up. And they were like, oh, yeah, we're all doing Airbnbs. And I was like, it's a wedding you and I are both going to. I was like, I think Brooke and I are going to do a hotel. Like, I just. Especially when it's a quick weekend. Unless someone else is fully organizing it and like, what?
Brooke
No, but there's great hotel. There's great hotel options.
Danielle
No, I know.
Brooke
And I'm gonna be with my boyfriend. Like, I want to, like, stay in a.
Danielle
In a nice, nice hotel. Sue me. Get ready in the hotel. Have breakfast in the lobby. Maybe nearby, a little balcony. Maybe a little balcony. But don't.
Brooke
If there's like, no hotel options. I get it. Like, there's some places that I'm saying that it's like, you legit have to
Danielle
do a house or it makes more sense. Or there's like a big group of friends that you all haven't seen each other in so long and you just want to be together constantly.
Brooke
Of course.
Danielle
But.
Brooke
No, but I'm 21 in char. Like Charleston. Like, I. I opted for the hotel. I mean, I think some people might be doing Airbnb, but I'm like, why? There's great hotel options. Like, there's great ones.
Danielle
I know. No, I'm. I'm going to wedding in Charleston, too. A lot of people are doing a house. Me and Ryan are doing the Airbnb, or. No, we're doing the hotel.
Brooke
Yeah. I'm realizing that there's a time and place for like every. Like, every situation, you know?
Danielle
Yeah. And like, what, like, what makes you had the happiest? I do think after I turned, like, 26, 27, I'm like, oh, I do things for me now.
Brooke
Try being 29.
Danielle
Am I right? Am I right? Once again, happy birthday, bro.
Brooke
Thank you. Thank you.
Danielle
Put that crown back on. Should we do, like, one more?
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
Okay. Oh, it's. Here we go.
Brook's Boyfriend
Hey, y'.
Danielle
All.
Listener/Caller
Really just wanted to get some insight, words of wisdom. Maybe someone telling me to chill out. Anyways, I think I'm getting engaged soon, actually. I know I am. I know it'll be probably by June within the next few months here. My boyfriend and I have talked about it. He's kind of given me hints here and there. I basically know that the ring is either in process or finished.
Danielle
I don't know.
Listener/Caller
But I know something's going on. I know it's planned, so I know all my friends know, he knows, my parents know, etc, and I'm just freaking out. Like, I cannot stop thinking about it. It's all I think about. I'm really trying to not ruin the surprise for myself, but it's so hard not to, because some weekends we have stuff planned that I know it can't be that. Like a wedding or whatever. And then there's some free weekends, but then there's some weekends that it could be, and I'm, like, freaking out.
Brooke
I don't know.
Listener/Caller
Do I just have a bunch of outfits ready? Do I just not talk to my friends about it at all? Like, I know they know, so I don't want to bring it up and risk it, but those are my best friends. I want to talk to them about it. So any words of wisdom that you have. I know it's so exciting, and I'm trying to let go and let God and not overthink it and not read into it, but I'm truly dying over here and just want to know.
Brooke
I mean, I could tell you I'm not at outfits ready. Like, I'm starting to, like, not even just white. Like, I'm just Like finding things that I like that I'm like, I, you know, I like this and not like, not to be like that day or whatever, but like, I just, I like to be ready.
Danielle
I like to be starting to buy things that you would be happy to be engaged in.
Brooke
Yeah. Or if it's like we're going to dinner with our family or something. Like, I just like to. I'm a person that like, it would stress me out. I know how stressed I would be if it's like we're going to dinner now and it should supposed to be like the happiest day of my life and I'm stressed about what to wear. You know what I'm saying?
Danielle
You mean like after you're engaged? If it was like, then there's something you want to have an outfit for that.
Brooke
I feel like it might be an exciting weekend or like, maybe, I don't know. Or maybe it's just a big week and you have a lot going on. Like, I just like to be prepared. So I think if you have the time now, why not get ahead of it? Why not get a few nice things that you feel comfortable and confident in? I don't. I still feel iffy about like the actual like day of like, if, you know, if you have that gut feeling like how you dress. I don't know because I haven't been there.
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke
What do you think? Like, if you have the feeling.
Danielle
I have no think, but I am curious. This is actually a good question for you of like after Japan, like, are we doing our nails like neutral until the end of time? Like what are you. Or you don't care if you have crazy nails?
Brooke
I mean like, it's not ideal, but like I feel like I would probably, I'm probably gonna do like a proper photo shoot and like I feel like people do an engagement shoot like later on anyways, right?
Danielle
Oh my God.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
Who care? I don't think the like people. I mean, yes, it's important that your nails are done, I guess done the day.
Brooke
But ours nails are always done. It's ye matter of.
Danielle
So you're not like go time constant. I mean you're always self tanning anyways, but like self tan, like everything like to the guy.
Brooke
I'm just trying to like take care of myself now, so.
Danielle
Yeah, so starting now you are.
Brooke
But I'm not saying that that's like I'm taking care of myself now to the end of the year.
Danielle
So any like random dinners or stuff? Like, you're just like, I'm Gonna look extra good.
Brooke
Oh, I don't know. I didn't really think about it.
Danielle
I didn't either until she said, I'm
Ad Voice 2
like, I wonder if Brooke's thinking this.
Brooke
No, no, no. I did. I did think about the outfit. I just started, like, getting things literally, not even white things, like, literally, just, like I said, just things that, like, make me feel good, that I'm just, like, ready for whatever situational thing might come up.
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke
Because I don't like to be caught off guard.
Danielle
I know what she means, though, about, like, talking to her friends, too, because it's like, I know you.
Brooke
I know you want to, and I know that, but, like, you're gonna ruin it for yourself. Like, I do. I do fear that she's gonna ruin it for herself. And I feel like you need to let go and let God in the sense that, like, your friends have your back and they're taking care of you, you know?
Danielle
I guess. See, I don't know what that's like because Ben won't tell me, so I know. So you can talk to me that way, though.
Brooke
Like, I feel like she's gonna ruin the surprise for herself if she knows that her friends know.
Danielle
How does she know her friends know? I guess she just knows. Maybe she told him.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
Better tell.
Brooke
Like, if I. If I knew that you knew, I wouldn't ask me.
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke
Because then I would be like. I mean, even though I like to spoil things for myself, like, I don't
Danielle
think I wouldn't spoil that one. This is.
Brooke
That's, like, the ultimate, like, yeah.
Danielle
No 100.
Brooke
And then everyone's ever like, I don't know. But I don't know about the outfit thing. I feel like, you know, everybody gets engaged in white. It's like, ah, you know, we're going for a walk through the park. It's like you put on, like, a white dress. It's like. I don't know. Like, I feel like I.
Danielle
If you think there's a chance and you want to wear white, put on the white. But don't let yourself get let down if you're not.
Brooke
I know. I don't really care about getting engaged in white. Like, honestly, like, that is unimportant to
Danielle
make I look good.
Brooke
It's more so just like, I want a good outfit. That's what I'm saying.
Danielle
What is the one thing you like?
Friend/Co-host
For me?
Danielle
My hair better look fire. Like, out of all the things that's important, what would be your number one?
Brooke
Oh, my. I'm honestly gonna say outfit. Just because, like, I feel like dayto day I wear some questionable outfits. Like I do. You know what I'm saying? Like, if I, if, if I'm getting dressed with the intention of like, just like maybe during the day or something like, I don't know, that would be.
Danielle
Ben, don't you dare. That would be crazy. Yeah, that would be crazy. Well, this is a fun one to end on.
Brooke
Yeah, that was fun.
Danielle
Oh, well, I'm so excited to get back in the studio with you soon after all of your Japan travels and we can talk about that. And hopefully you guys. Oh my God.
Friend/Co-host
And Coachella.
Danielle
I'll have to take notes. You better. We both got to take notes.
Brooke
I'm gonna be using my notes app as my diary. Dear diary.
Danielle
Dear diary. Dear gals. Well, once again, happy birthday, Brooke. We love you. Another year around the sun when you're 29, you'll understand. Understand? We love you guys and we'll see you next week. Bye.

I'm no designer, but I know my brand inside and out. And I know a generic looking website when I see one. Wix Harmony has blown me away. It's a website builder that lets me switch back and forth between using AI and hands on editing tools so I can create a website exactly the way I pictured it. I even get a personal AI agent that's an expert in web design and helps me out. Try it out for free@wix.com Harmony that's wix.com Harmony.
Ad Voice 2
How did you get your website to look like that? Mine's so basic. Thanks. I just used WIX Harmony.
Friend/Co-host
What's that?
Ad Voice 2
It's wix's AI website builder. You just tell it what you want and it builds you a whole site. But you can also switch back and forth between chatting with AI and editing things yourself. Ah, so you're not stuck with whatever the AI gives you? Nope. I mean, the results are pretty nice, but you can jump in and mess with whatever. Oh, that's neat.
