Just conveniently slip by and grab what's in your hand. Totally. It is crazy though, how we all like know to. You like, stand like five feet behind someone and you. You're kind of sweet. Whatever.

Well, the thing is, the gals didn't properly set it up until, like, two months ago.

Oh, guys. Literally last year, we walked into a bank.

Yeah, we went to a bank, and we said we'd like to start a business together. So until this point, we didn't legally have a business together. We got paid out separately. Everything.

We had two separate businesses. So I guess, like, we were operating, but, like, we didn't have, like, a con. Like, there was, like. I know. So we. To be completely frank, we did not do things like the. The normal.

We had a contract in the sense of, like, with our podcast network, I guess that bound us.

But yes, high level. We do have ran a business together for so long because, I mean, we got to get a podcast episode out every week. And I'm really, really grateful because I think both of us do. I think the biggest thing is we each have had our own busy seasons in life. Right now we're both in a busy season, I feel like. But it's really like recognizing, like, some weeks you're going to have a stronger week than I am, vice versa. And you can easily get really hard on yourself, and it's good to, like, keep yourself in check, be like, oh, I feel like they've done a lot more. Like, I need to pick it up, whatever. But I feel so grateful because I feel like if I need you to pick it up, like, you, yeah, will do so much more for me, vice versa. But, like, it's really easy to, like, resent someone for that too.

Yeah, I know. I know what you mean. I think it's also, like, before you even start, it's helpful for us that it's like, every Wednesday, we need to have an episode. Like, we have, like, a shared baseline, shared goal, a deliverable every week that needs to be met literally by contract by, like. So I think having. Assessing, like, the first Level, like, what are our high level? And I don't like making goals either, but almost like a deliverable or something that you're gonna be like, okay, this business, you know, we're gonna sell at the farmer's market every Saturday. Like, and we have to do it, like, whatever it is. Like, you need to have, like, the things that.

That's so true. It's like every Saturday. We know this. Okay. If you've got a wedding, you need to help me find a substitute for that week or whatever it may. That's a good example. Yeah. Like, I feel like so many people say, don't go into business with your best friend, but also, there's so many pros to doing it. Like, if you're doing it right and it's something you're both so passionate about and you're already talking anyways. I mean, it has brought Brooke and I closer, so. And we're really lucky for that. Obviously, some people that hasn't happened, but I feel like if it's not supposed to happen, you kind of have feelings before you're starting to work with someone. Like, ooh. Like, it should be easy to strike start.

I was gonna say if someone's dragging their feet to start, I feel like you don't want to, like, convince someone to start it with you. I feel like it should be, like, mutual excitement or like. Yeah. It's a good form of social media when you're like, I just want something mindless. I don't want to compare myself to anyone. Like, it's great. I have a board for every year. I used to do by season, and then I stopped. So now I do, like, outfits. 2025 outfits, 2026. And just anytime I see an outfit I like. Because also you could be traveling and it's like, oh, I'm going somewhere a little bit. But I have a ton of warm stuff pinned recently. But then a couple months ago, I have cold stuff. You know, it's just good to have one big year of outfits. So that's what I do. But I feel like people definitely do go on Pinterest and they're like, what should I wear today?

Oh, well, I will do, like, white shirt, black skirt outfit. Like, and when I. Or if I have a piece that I don't know how to style, like, there are definitely times when I do that. I bring my iPad into the closet. I'm like, what do I have that, like, resembles this?

Pinterest or even just one piece. Like, I'll be like. Like, if I have a specific, like, black polka dot maxi skirt outfits, like, I have right now, I have one, and I'm like, I mean, I could just wear it with a white T shirt, black T shirt, but, like, I'm sure that people style it in way more unique ways and, like, you know, ways that I wouldn't think.

I know it'll be probably by June within the next few months here. My boyfriend and I have talked about it. He's kind of given me hints here and there. I basically know that the ring is either in process or finished.

But I know something's going on. I know it's planned, so I know all my friends know, he knows, my parents know, etc, and I'm just freaking out. Like, I cannot stop thinking about it. It's all I think about. I'm really trying to not ruin the surprise for myself, but it's so hard not to, because some weekends we have stuff planned that I know it can't be that. Like a wedding or whatever. And then there's some free weekends, but then there's some weekends that it could be, and I'm, like, freaking out.

I don't know.

Do I just have a bunch of outfits ready? Do I just not talk to my friends about it at all? Like, I know they know, so I don't want to bring it up and risk it, but those are my best friends. I want to talk to them about it. So any words of wisdom that you have. I know it's so exciting, and I'm trying to let go and let God and not overthink it and not read into it, but I'm truly dying over here and just want to know.

[Brooke]

I mean, I could tell you I'm not at outfits ready. Like, I'm starting to, like, not even just white. Like, I'm just Like finding things that I like that I'm like, I, you know, I like this and not like, not to be like that day or whatever, but like, I just, I like to be ready.

[Danielle]

I like to be starting to buy things that you would be happy to be engaged in.

[Brooke]

Yeah. Or if it's like we're going to dinner with our family or something. Like, I just like to. I'm a person that like, it would stress me out. I know how stressed I would be if it's like we're going to dinner now and it should supposed to be like the happiest day of my life and I'm stressed about what to wear. You know what I'm saying?

[Danielle]

You mean like after you're engaged? If it was like, then there's something you want to have an outfit for that.

[Brooke]

I feel like it might be an exciting weekend or like, maybe, I don't know. Or maybe it's just a big week and you have a lot going on. Like, I just like to be prepared. So I think if you have the time now, why not get ahead of it? Why not get a few nice things that you feel comfortable and confident in? I don't. I still feel iffy about like the actual like day of like, if, you know, if you have that gut feeling like how you dress. I don't know because I haven't been there.

[Danielle]

Yeah.

[Brooke]

What do you think? Like, if you have the feeling.

[Danielle]

I have no think, but I am curious. This is actually a good question for you of like after Japan, like, are we doing our nails like neutral until the end of time? Like what are you. Or you don't care if you have crazy nails?

[Brooke]

I mean like, it's not ideal, but like I feel like I would probably, I'm probably gonna do like a proper photo shoot and like I feel like people do an engagement shoot like later on anyways, right?

[Danielle]

Oh my God.

[Brooke]

Who care? I don't think the like people. I mean, yes, it's important that your nails are done, I guess done the day.

[Brooke]

But ours nails are always done. It's ye matter of.

So you're not like go time constant. I mean you're always self tanning anyways, but like self tan, like everything like to the guy.

I'm just trying to like take care of myself now, so.

[Danielle]

Yeah, so starting now you are.

But I'm not saying that that's like I'm taking care of myself now to the end of the year.

So any like random dinners or stuff? Like, you're just like, I'm Gonna look extra good.

[Brooke]

Oh, I don't know. I didn't really think about it.

No, no, no. I did. I did think about the outfit. I just started, like, getting things literally, not even white things, like, literally, just, like I said, just things that, like, make me feel good, that I'm just, like, ready for whatever situational thing might come up.

Because I don't like to be caught off guard.

[Danielle]

I know what she means, though, about, like, talking to her friends, too, because it's like, I know you.

[Brooke]

I know you want to, and I know that, but, like, you're gonna ruin it for yourself. Like, I do. I do fear that she's gonna ruin it for herself. And I feel like you need to let go and let God in the sense that, like, your friends have your back and they're taking care of you, you know?

[Danielle]

I guess. See, I don't know what that's like because Ben won't tell me, so I know. So you can talk to me that way, though.

[Brooke]

Like, I feel like she's gonna ruin the surprise for herself if she knows that her friends know.

[Danielle]

If you think there's a chance and you want to wear white, put on the white. But don't let yourself get let down if you're not.

I know. I don't really care about getting engaged in white. Like, honestly, like, that is unimportant to

make I look good.

It's more so just like, I want a good outfit. That's what I'm saying.

My hair better look fire. Like, out of all the things that's important, what would be your number one?

Oh, my. I'm honestly gonna say outfit. Just because, like, I feel like dayto day I wear some questionable outfits. Like I do. You know what I'm saying? Like, if I, if, if I'm getting dressed with the intention of like, just like maybe during the day or something like, I don't know, that would be.
