The following podcast is a Dear media production.
B
I get it.
A
Oh, so you're messaging people and you
B
know that's getting sent around.
A
They're getting paid a bag.
B
Sell it as like an amen anemone. A scary amount of shares on that.
A
We need the tips. I don't think you're cool for that.
B
I haven't been relaxed since 97.
A
Whoa. Here we go.
B
Hey, guys, what's up? Welcome back to Gals on the Go podcast.
A
It's Brooke and Danielle. I hope you're all having a fabulous day. Maybe we're in your headphones, in your car, on your Alexa. Who knows? Hey, Google all of the things I
B
haven't said that in a while. I actually, like, don't actively have one set up.
A
Now that I think about it, you're not. You have Google or you have something. No, no, no.
B
You know what you do have? The doorbell.
A
Brooke has. No, you have that too. Brooke has this. I'm sorry for my language. Trash can that is haunted. We were at her apartment a couple weeks ago, and this trash can just opens all the time.
B
And I don't know how you're not getting so scared, because I just am so used to it at this point. So it's. It's like it's both voice activated and motion activated. I could probably turn. I have to look into it to see if I could turn off the voice because I like the motion activation, actually. Like, you do your hand. You have one that does that, right?
A
Not anymore. I used to.
B
Yeah. And I like it for the convenience of that. And yeah, in the beginning, it's supposed to be when you say open gan. It goes. It opens. But for some reason, it thinks a lot of things are open. And it just. It just does. Like when you're watching TV and stuff. Like, it goes. I don't like, I tune it out. I don't even hear it. I don't see it. Like, it doesn't affect me at all anymore. But I forget when people come over, they're like, oh, my God, it opened. But then we kept joking around that it was, like, clapping and, like, applauding us.
A
Yeah. Like, I would say something and then the can opens. Like, see, the can agrees with me.
B
Yeah, you guys got a kick out of that.
A
It was very silly. And I just, like, now. I just. I've honestly thought about it recently. I'm like, wow, Brooks, trash can just could be opening as we speak right now.
B
It probably is like a clamshell. Like. Yeah, that's my friend.
A
My friend.
B
The trash can runs out of battery really quick.
A
I was wondering if it's charged or
B
maybe there's a way to charge. And we. We just have been putting batteries in and it's really. That's the. But I do like the touch list because I feel like you're cooking and stuff. Like, you have, like, dirty hands. And I like the trash can itself. Like, I like the size. So that's why I'm willing to put up with the fact that the voice activation feature. A little off. A little off.
A
That's one of your favorite phrases.
B
It's a little off.
A
It's a little off. Do you have any vocal stims as of late?
B
Oh, that's a good question.
A
I don't think I do, personally. Maybe it's because I haven't been around you enough. Yeah, I don't know.
B
Oh, my gosh.
A
Oh, yeah, we do. Starring star.
B
Oh, but that's a yes.
A
Did we tell that story?
B
No, we haven't told that story. Oh, my gosh. We were having mahjong night, which was just. It's so fun and in so many good laughs. I think we were talking about so many laughs in mahjong. Were we talking about that? Yeah, because we were saying that we need to focus more.
A
Yeah, yeah. Whenever we, like, hang out, of course.
B
And we were telling stories about, like, various, like, trips and, like, brand deals that we've done. And Katie was recounting a time that her and I, we. We were brought to be essentially actors. Like, we knew that we were doing, like, a production type. A shoot. Yeah, a shoot. And she was explaining it to someone. She's like, well, you know, Brooke and I were starring in the production and we lost Kepler starring. And she's like, no, we were starring. We were starring. Like, I mean, that's what it was. We were starring.
A
We were in the show.
B
Yeah. And I was just like, I'm gonna use that so much in my everyday life.
A
We wouldn't shut up about it. Poor Katie. We were just like, oh, yeah. Well, we were starring in that episode.
B
And then we watched the Hannah Montana spider special. It was like, when we were casting the star, we needed someone who was starring. Like, it's just fun.
A
That's. Honestly, I've said that a couple times. Like, Ryan and I were talking the other day and I was like, oh, starring. And he did not understand what I was saying.
B
Yeah, no, I keep commenting on her stuff. I'm like, you're a star.
A
You're a star. I did say that to someone yesterday. And I'm wondering if that was subconscious.
B
Yeah. Starring in.
A
Starring.
B
Yes.
A
That's a. That's a race of verbal, stem, vocal stim.
B
Yeah. It's funny when like one of your friends does something stupid and like, I mean, that's not even stupid.
A
Like it was the truth.
B
Like it is the truth. It's just like we just ran.
A
There's a wholesome way of Katie putting it.
B
Yes.
A
We were starring in this photo shoot. Yes.
B
And we just ran with it. I love like taking something someone says and just beating it to the ground.
A
Red panic. Like whatever it is.
B
Of course. But of course. But of course.
A
Brooke. Like, I mean we have so many.
B
So many. My spray tan is coming off as we speak. It's at the one week mark. Not that anybody cares, but how are we doing?
A
What are you going to do? You going to scrub it off?
B
I'm going to scrub it off. You know, I. I feel like I'm pretty good at like self tan, spray tan, like management until it gets to like that last day.
A
Oh. I mean that's why I don't even have a spray. I don't even know what my. Like, I don't even know what I'm working with right now because I got a spray tan like a week ago and I just like never faded. So I'm confused. So I'm just wearing a high neck though because I feel like my foundation still a little too dark. You know when you're like in the in between phase of it's like your spray tan foundation. So I just wear high necks and wear the spray tan foundation.
B
I was actually at an event for house labs, like foundation, talking to people about foundation. I was like, mine probably doesn't match my. The rest of my body. And I came to the conclusion with like the group of people that I was talking to and we were like, we don't really care. Like as long as your makeup looks good. Like, who cares if it doesn't match?
A
Like, I think we're all just using foundation that doesn't match.
B
No, I mean. And I don't even care if it's like crazy mismatch. At least my makeup. I would rather my makeup look good.
A
Me too.
B
Do you know what I'm saying? And they'd be like, oh, you're. Your forearm and your face don't match. Like, who gives a. Like, I don't know. It's like, I just. That's another thing I don't look at when I see people. I'm not like your foundation shades crazy I. I mean, I guess I noticed on myself now, the flashback, because I had a problem with that. Like, in photos.
A
Flashback. I. I do notice on myself and other people if. If you're. I literally. This happened to me yesterday. I was literally with you. I was nervous. You were noticing, like, an open neck. I had, like, a dress on, and, like, my foundation was definitely dark. Like, I don't like that. I don't like that look.
B
Yeah. I mean, it's not my favorite look, but, like, for me, the makeup's more important. Like, I want. If I, like, you know, if I'm like, my makeup's got a sleigh. Like, I. Unfortunately, I'm working with what I got, you know?
A
Well, yeah, so then. But will you blend to the neck?
B
Oh, I do. I usually use, like, a bronzer, like, blend. Yeah. Yeah. I haven't been using, like, body glow as much, but that helps, too, to, like, conceal some, like.
A
Yeah. Body help. No, I know. But it's getting really close to that time where I'm gonna be just hopefully tan from the sun, hopefully. Because this is the first time I'm living in my new apartment where we have this rooftop with, like, tanning chairs, so. Because my last apartment had a roof but wasn't ideal tanning circumstance. I mean, it's more of, like, a.
B
Like, view.
A
It was like, a view. Yeah. This one, we've got chairs with cushions. Like, I. I hang out. I've been told that you have to, like, get up there early to tan. I'm like, oh, perfect. So there's other people up there tanning. Like, I can't wait. Wow, that's. So Catch me on the roof.
B
Starring in.
A
Starring in my own rooftop sunbathe moment. Ryan's gonna be grilling in the back with the boys, and I need you
B
to have an apartment party. Maybe. Could it be outdoor? Indoor?
A
Did you just say you want me to have an apartment party?
B
Yeah.
A
Wow, this is so exciting.
B
I feel like.
A
I feel like I have too many
B
parties, but never at your house.
A
Yeah, we haven't had a party.
B
Girls nights at your house.
A
But, like. Yeah, yeah. No, I. Hey, you just got that in my head. Maybe we'll have a spring soiree. Spring soiree. I think I can rent out the roof, but if the roof is good, if the weather's good, not the roof is good.
B
That's fun. Yeah. You can rent. It's fun to rent out. It's randomly, like, expensive to rent out the rooms in my apartment. Like. Like, they'd sell it as like an anime anatomy as an amenity.
A
Yeah.
B
Like, oh, you have these rooms you could rent out. And, like, I did it one time. I was like, this is low key, really expensive. Like, you could you do that for Ben's barbecue thing?
A
Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Yeah.
B
And you could just risk it and be like, ah, we're gonna gather a few friends and, like, gather on the barbecue. But if you want to reserve it and, like, have it for. For like, five hours or something like that, like, you have to. You have to pay the price. And it was definitely, like, a nice space and they. Whatever. But I just was like, oh, this is like, should we have just done a bar?
A
Like, I don't know. I thought it was cute.
B
Yeah, it was cute. It was cute.
A
But, yeah, it's true. It's like, I'm paying rent, but then
B
I have to pay.
A
But I guess.
B
Yeah, I guess they have to have a system, though, because, I mean, would people take advantage of it? Like, I feel like my amenity spaces are always empty.
A
Yeah. Yours? Really? Wow.
B
Like, the. I guess the main lounge, maybe, but we have a lot of, like, sub. We have, like, a study room and, like, this and that. You know what I'm saying? Like, OD with, like, a arts and crafts room. That one time I went in and, like, filmed a tik tok. I was. It was after the gym. I was like, where can I go? I just, like, went in arts and crafts.
A
Really?
B
Yeah. Like, I wasn't doing arts and crafts. I was just like, I need a quiet room.
A
And, like, I saw you did pottery recently. Did you like it?
B
Yes, and I loved it. Oh, no, it was healing. You get really dirty, though.
A
It looks really dirty. Yeah.
B
Yeah. And I did it with all my jewelry on. I had no idea. And then I just. It all, like.
A
Did it get under your rings?
B
Yeah, and I was just like, oh, I don't know how I thought that it was, like, little, like, clay making, like, you know, like, with play DOH or something. Like.
A
Yeah, it's the spinning wheel.
B
I did the wheel. You can do the hand building or the wheel.
A
And I was like, okay, I'm gonna do it.
B
I'm gonna do the wheel. And I see, like, this is so crazy. Like, Like, I see how it's, like, therapeutic, and I see how people, like, make it into, like, a spiritual thing. Like, I feel like pottery and, like, spirituality are like, kind of like. Like people who do it. Like, you get in your flow. Like, I. I get it.
A
Like, it's like, very mindfulness vibes.
B
Yes.
A
Like you're just focused on that.
B
Yeah. Like, he was like the. My. My. My tutor did a private. Ben and I did a private.
A
Okay, private.
B
Well, shout out to Awake. Chocolate. They paid for it.
A
Thank you, guys.
B
Thank you, Awake, for paying for that. You're great.
A
Starring and starring book is starring.
B
He was like, it's. It's intuitive. Like, you know, you just have to. I mean, he taught us like technique for sure. He was like, you go up, you go down. Like, here's the hand positions. But then I just started like going. And he was like, you just. You feel it, right? Like it's very. It's like a whole thing, you know, you should try it.
A
I should. I really should.
B
But it's. That's also the type of thing that I'm noticing in adulthood. A lot of these hobbies are like class based.
A
Yeah.
B
So if you don't do a private. The way that you sound. Well, they were like for to be a member. It's a two year wait list. Why does everything have a wait list? Why does everything.
A
New York loves a line, a weight, a wait list.
B
It's a pottery. Like, I know, but then again, I walked in. Now, granted, I'm there at one o' clock on a Wednesday, so I know what I'm doing. Yeah, but the place is full at one o' clock on a Wednesday. Everybody working on their gorgeous vases and projects. But I just was like, what are we.
A
I know why I'm here. And you're like, I know why Ben's here. Yeah, but how are all of you here?
B
It makes you think, especially doing pottery.
A
Like, they're just like it all the time. Even just walking around New York.
B
Yeah. You're like, what are you up to?
A
Everyone's like out and about.
B
Yeah. Yeah.
A
But hey, maybe more and more people are entrepreneurs or they're on their lunch break and they work from home. You're right.
B
You're right. Yeah.
A
Whatever. It may be what it is. Rogue. That's your.
B
That was. Yeah, that was good. But the pottery thing, you. If you want to sign up for class, you have to do like a four to six week course. Not every day. Like, it's not like school, but you have to like, it's like once like Tuesday nights and like you buy like the, like the class package. Basically. I'm like, I just can't commit to that right now. Like, I don't know, I'm in and out of town. Like, I. It's a big commitment.
A
No, that was really. You're like, I just, just can't commit to that.
B
Like, I, you know, I, I want to continue. They weren't even trying to sell.
A
They don't have drop in classes.
B
Like, well, that's like if you're just a member. And that's the two year wait list.
A
Oh, that's the wait list.
B
I think that like I'm. You have to be like, decently, like, good to be a member though. Like, I don't know if you could be.
A
To apply to be.
B
No, but it's all people who like, are very serious. You know, they might be like selling their work or something. Like, like, they're like, they're serious.
A
You went to like a serious place?
B
No, they're all serious, I think. I mean, this was, it was literally called like Brooklyn pottery. Like, it's not, it wasn't like, it
A
wasn't like art from the heart. Like, I've been to a place called that. That's why I said that.
B
There's like ones in my neighborhood that are like, for kids.
A
Yeah.
B
Maybe that's like arts and crafts, like kids studios that do pottery. I feel like. But then there's like this. Then there's like dedicated pottery studios. I was researching some and they were really serious. I was messaging some. I was like, hi, I didn't see anything about classes on your website. They're like, we do not offer classes classes. It's only open studio.
A
Oh, so you're messaging people.
B
Well, I was trying to source the best class in the area. There's actually so many in my area. That's why I'm saying it's very. It's so Brooklyn. Like, like throw clay. I think that's what they call it
A
when you, because you, oh, you throw it and then start spinning and.
B
Does your mom do pottery? I see her, I see that for her.
A
Yeah, she's done it before. I don't know. She's always doing like a side quest. She? I, I, Yes. I, we're in the hospital and my mom's like cross stitching. She just pulls this out. I was like, what are you doing?
B
Your mom side quest. That's a great way to put it.
A
I was like, wait. Like she just randomly likes to learn new things, which is great. I hope I'm like that when I'm 60.
B
Neuroplasticity.
A
That's not what that's called.
B
That's like when you keep learning new things. Like Eileen Guo, the. Is she a snowboarder or a skier? I don't know. She's something in the Olympics. And she was like, is that her name? Yeah, that's her name. Now that I'm saying. Right. Do you guys know who I'm talking about?
A
I don't.
B
Okay, well, there's this like famous whatever and she's like, brilliant. She goes to Stanford and she does. And she's a model. Like a Runway model. And she does. And she's in the Olympics. Like she actually does it all. And she talks about. She's like, I, I just like to current. Like to always be learning new things because neuroplasticity, like when you're constantly learning new things, it like improves.
A
I totally believe it all.
B
It's a whole thing.
A
Okay, guys, the decision has been made. I am keeping out my hair extensions. Brooke. And that's because you, you really sealed the deal. You were like, danielle, I, I really think you got this.
B
You have. I mean, your hair looks seriously like bastards ever. And I know you've been putting in the work.
A
Yes. That's why I love Neutrophil. Because I know that by taking this supplement every day, I'm doing something good for my hair. My hair is growing. Like, let's be real. Women have been sold every miracle product under the sun, including myself. But something about Nutraful is just even better because it's about committing to that simple daily routine that supports hair health from within. So the results actually build.
B
Yeah, I feel like you need to once again give it time. Like, I mean, it's literally like hair growth and like, you know, you're. It's a glow up season.
A
It's a glow up season. Absolutely. Nutrafol is the number one dermatologist recommended hair growth supplement, you guys. And it's the number one hair growth supplement brand personally used by dermatologists. So I feel safe.
B
I love seeing it in my dermatologist office.
A
Yeah.
B
Like, hey, Nutrify you.
A
And it's not a one size fits all approach either though. Like, Nutriful offers multiple formulas for men and women, which is really, really cool. So it's tailored to life stages if you're postpartum or menopause or, you know, you have different lifestyle factors like being plant based or, you know, you get that support that's actually right for you.

B
I'm trying to be healthier, but I will never, ever give up my sweet treat. That's one thing about me. I say I have a few. I'm not going to up my coffee and I'm not giving up sweet treat at night. And Yaso has been it for me like perfection. In your freezer, you take out your little sweet treat, but I don't feel like it's like healthier option. Like it's just an amazing sweet treat.
A
This is crazy to me. So I didn't know this about you until you've recently told me. And my dad literally has a Yeso bar like every day. Like loves. Like that's what he gets so excited. Like if we ever have someone come over, like if we're having dinner and he's like, everyone want a Yaso bar. They're available in bars. They've got chocolate crunch bars, sandwiches, poppables. And they also just launched new spoonables which each have around 400 calories and 19 grams of protein per container. Like, love when there's protein.
B
Yeah, they have protein because it's not ice cream. It's actually creamy frozen Greek yogurt. And I'm gonna be honest, guys, I'm not a Greek yogurt fan. These do not taste like Greek yogurt. Like I can attest.
A
Yeah.
B
Brownie batter bars.
A
Brownie batter.
B
They're amazing. They're 100 calories. I'm not like even counting calories, whatever. But I just, it's exciting that it's a guilt free treat. You know, I'm like, at the end of the night, a little extra protein.
A
No, they're, they're incredible. I've had them many a times because that's like the dessert we have at home. And now through April 30th, Yaso is giving away 40,001 of their new spoonables. So head to yaso.comgals to enter and upgrade your freezer. That's Y-S-S-O.com gals to enter and find full giveaway details, rules and regulations. You can also find the new Yaso spoonables at a grocery store near you as well.
B
I'm into the concept of the capsule wardrobe, you know, as I am constantly working towards that. But actually, how nice is it when you don't have to think about, like, getting dressed? You just like, you know, you have those good. It's the reliable pieces, really. And that's why we love shopping at Quints for those good quality, reliable pieces. The fabrics feel elevated, the fits are thoughtful, and the pricing is. It just makes sense, guys.
A
It's. It. Like, seriously, when you're shopping on the website, you're like, how is this real? How is this allowed? But it's because they're doing the right process so that you just pay like this really inexpensive price for such good quality things. Like, my mom, Summer's coming up. She's getting all of her linen, all of her 100% European linen from Quince. They've got the organic cotton, they've got the super soft denim, like, everything. And it's all like starting around $50.
B
Yeah. And the same focus on materials is also, like accessories, like the leather bags, the hundred percent hand woven Italian leather. Like, it's giving lux. And you look lux. I feel like you look so polished and chic and put together. Like, when I wear my quince pieces, like, I just feel great. And once again, Quince works directly with ethical factories and they cut out the middlemen. So you're still getting that amazing quality, but you don't pay for that, like, brand markup. It really is just like, why are more people doing this?
A
No, I know. Like, I love my Quince cashmere sweater. It's perfect for this transitional time from, like, winter spring vibes. And I just throw it over my shoulder if I need, I put it on. It's so soft. It's this beautiful cream color. I've had it for years, actually. So refresh your spring wardrobe with quince. Go to quince.com gals for free shipping and 365 day returns. Now available in Canada too. Go to Q-U-I-N-C-E.com gals for free shipping AND 365 day returns. Quince.com gals well, no, that's why I say, you know, it's nice if you want to start learning a new language at this age or just like keeping your brain locked in. Adam was talking about a match made in Manhattan, an app that gives them a new vocabulary word every day. And I would really like to know what that app is.
B
Wow.
A
Because, like, I need new words instead of vibes. I say vibes a lot.
B
I do New York Times Mini. And sometimes I do those. Yeah, those actually do help with like thinking of.
A
Yeah, rediscovering, definitely. Yeah, I like that. Well, today's episode, we just. We need the tips, we need the hacks. Like, we're all gal pals here. I don't really like when people gatekeep things. I don't think you're cool for that. Whatever. So we posted on the gals on the Go Instagram, which if you do not follow, like, seriously, this is how you get involved with future episodes. It's at Gals in the Go podcast and it's a good time. We're always posting things there. That's where we post our weekly dump with like photos that we reference from that week's episode, whatever it may be. And we said, hot girls don't gatekeep. Like, what are you guys gatekeeping? What are the tips? Everything. And you guys submitted some really fun things. So we're gonna talk about them. Let's talk and unpack them.
B
Let's talk. So follow at Gals on the Go podcast to be a part of all of these submission based fun episodes. You guys always have great stuff to say. Oh my gosh. I want to talk about this because I know so many people in college did this. Easy money hacks, donating plasma for money and helping others using fetch rewards. I guess that's like an app.
A
I don't know. Oh my gosh. Don, Plasma. That was so big at Georgia because
B
there was one right downtown in downtown.
A
You saw everyone just walking out.
B
Yes. And you are helping others. Like, it's amazing.
A
It's amazing.
B
I don't know what the pay was, but I feel like people who like, didn't have jobs and they were like, they needed quick cash. But also, like, money went far in Athens. So I feel like you could go donate plasma and you had like drink money for like a few weeks.
A
Like, no. I had very close friends that would regularly, every couple weeks go and donate plasma. And they, they had their routine, they had their like playlist they would listen to and you know, they did their thing and then they. With money. It was a really cool thing. So definitely look into plasma labs. I guess if you go to uga, there is definitely one right there.
B
You can literally go right after class.
A
You're so right.
B
I feel like people go right to the bar after, which is definitely not what you're supposed to do. But I feel definitely not like I'm on my way.
A
I totally forgot about that. That's a great hack, actually.
B
And you help Others. How nice.
A
Using my boyfriend's manscaped for down there. Literally life changing.
B
I could.
A
So see.
B
Does Ryan have a manscape? I don't know if that's too personal. What does Ryan use for his grooming down there? I'm sorry, I don't know if that's too personal. What's Ryan's choice groomer grooming.
A
Oh, he does have manscaped, but the nose trimmer.
B
Okay.
A
So I actually, I will not disclose said information. But he does have a manscape for his nose.
B
We just got a manscaped in a gift bag one time. So, like, that's why we. We. I mean, like, yeah, because I got a gift bag too. And then now we had two of them. I like, gave one to. I don't even know who. I think it took me a minute to realize that a manscaped was for. I thought that a manscaped was for your face.
A
Well, they have it for everything, I think now because we got the nose trimmer. Right? Yeah.
B
But I guess og.
A
Oh, OG manscaped.
B
But I feel like I just used to be like, what? It's so smart to groom their beard. Like, yeah, now I realize that it really is for.
A
No, I know. Yeah, that is a good. I wonder which manscape tool because they seriously have so many now. But now I do see on Tick Tock Shop Girls post most manscape like, things for women.
B
The electric razors and stuff.
A
Yeah, I see the craziest ads. It's like, girls, if you want your cookie. Or they make good crazy analogies for vaginas. Like, it's like the craziest thing.
B
Have you seen the Michaela Lemmy ad?
A
She's like, yes, yes. Like, yeah, that was crazy. And then announced her divorce few days later.
B
There's certain things that, like, I truly don't think I could be paid, like, enough money to do. Like, and I do feel like that might be like one of them them, like, you know, like getting on there and being like, yeah, you want down there.
A
I know we are. Wait there. There's a few things both you and I just, like, won't do. Whether if it's for the podcast for that we just literally say no every time. And sometimes it's a lot of money. Like vibrators. Let me tell you guys, they pay well.
B
I know.
A
I just can't do it.
B
Like, to a certain extent I can. But if it's like, I have to speak on my personal experience, like, I don't know, like, there's a part of
A
me If I have to make an in feed real. Like, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
B
Okay. Just.
A
But people will do it and. And I see it, I'm like, they're getting paid a bag.
B
Yeah.
A
I'm so happy for them. I hope they go buy a Birkin.
B
No. And it's something that like a lot of people have and use.
A
Obviously.
B
It's not like nothing.
A
It's just like, you know, grandma follows like, hey, hey. Yeah, grandma's.
B
I know. Honestly, like my uncle's follow me.
A
Like, you know, like it's a little like the male cousins, like they're all in there. So like why. But.
B
And you know that's getting sent around.
A
Oh, that is getting sent around.
B
Scary amount of shares on that.
A
You know what I like, don't you? I don't often look. But now I've started to look at shares and it's like terrifying. When one of your videos gets a lot of shares, I'm like.
B
Or your story frames.
A
Oh, stories. And people are.
B
And it's just like a normal.
A
Like, like what could they be saying about me?
B
Like it's like a mirror picture of my outfit. I'm like, oh, okay. So something is awry.
A
And then I think about like people that are not influencers. Yeah. And they post something and there's like five shares. That's. Those are your friends.
B
Do you see that data though? Or is it only on a professional
A
account that you see that on TikTok, anyone can see. I don't know about Instagram. I would assume so if you swipe up on your Instagram story, I think you can see your analytics no matter who you are. I should ask around. Ask around because you know what I mean? Like if.
B
Yeah.
A
Are a personal person. 5 shares. That those are your people in your circle.
B
And if you only have like 300 followers like and you're on private or something like.
A
Yeah. And then you know, like, I don't trust anyone anymore.
B
Wow. Yeah. You can't keep. Always keep an eye.
A
Keep an eye out for Selena. Literally.
B
Old Navy and Gap have been killing it. Whole recent wardrobe is from there.
A
I thought you were about to say holy cow.
B
Holy cow. I went to the Gap factory because there's randomly one in Brooklyn and I got like this amazing sweater.
A
Gap Factory.
B
Yeah. So I. I can I can I believe it?
A
We used to go to J. Crew factory all the time.
B
Yeah.
A
That was. I would get my Bermudas. Why was I dressing like a 40 year old when I was in middle school?
B
You just had to be there you
A
had to be there. I mean, I remember I would literally go to Talbots.
B
Wow. I never made it there.
A
I remember I would literally go to Talbots. I would want to see. I think it was also because my school dress code involved collared shirts. So I was like, I gotta get creative. Like, everyone has that J. Crew collared shirt. So I'd literally go to Talbots. And now I'm like, no one my age goes to Talbot.
B
That's like.
A
It's for the elders.
B
I was gonna say. I feel like they, like, no, it's
A
like, like, looking back, so crazy that I was going into Talbots for me, but I just had a very mature style back in the preppy days.
B
Yeah. You know, and I mean, at least it was a style. You know, you could say that we had a style.
A
We could go confidently knowing that we had a style. We had a style. And that's why a lot of people that are listening now followed us.
B
That's a.
A
So thank you.
B
Big thing that we got.
A
I became. We became friends during that era. So I. So, you know, I didn't think you were weird. You did. You didn't think I was weird if I was wearing.
B
No, absolutely.
A
You probably didn't know, but.
B
No, I probably didn't. I mean, no, I was. I was Jake. Like, I was one step away. It's not like I was like, oh, my God, that's so shocking. I probably. But I never physically made it in the store.
A
I feel like your mom would be like, brooke, you're not going to Talbot. Yeah, that's my way of trying to impress. Yeah. Destination. But it didn't work. Yeah, those more Aunt Abby, less Adina been saying that lotion after every shower is essential to soft skin. I know I sometimes am good at this and sometimes bad, but I do believe that it locks in that moisture. Do you do it?
B
I've been trying to do it after every shower. However, I've been having a problem where, like, this happened two nights in a row where I, like, really moisturized. Like, I put on, like, a thick layer and I woke up sweating. No, I'm telling you, I think it was the lotion. But it was only those two nights. That's the only correlation that I can make. I woke up one night, like, and I slept in, like, a T shirt. And, like, I was sweating so much. Ben was like, it must not be a breathable fabric or something because, like, so, like, it dropped. But I was like, it's a T shirt. I normally sleep in my long sleeve skim set and I don't swept through
A
that like was it when he was like all stressed? Maybe he was heat stress. I don't know.
B
I really think it was anyway. I just think it's because it like trapped in the moisture. I thought that.
A
No, that thing. There's like an extra coat. I guess you have an extra layer of skin. Maybe, maybe.
B
But I have to say it's worth it cuz my skin's really soft right now.
A
You know starring in.
B
I do, I do agree with that. It's all. It's an admin and you have to add another like five plus five minutes to your routine.
A
Like but it does help. I try to do especially I'm sure you too when you have self tan spray tan it they say it helps make it last longer which I do
B
believe so and just like looking better cuz it's not like dry crusty. It's like.
A
Yeah, we don't want dry crusty. Yeah.
B
Vibration plate. Did you get into that?
A
We got one at the house.
B
The house? What house?
A
Sorry, the house. The Florida house. My beach house. And I don't know it definitely. I don't know. I didn't like feel anything different after. Do you like feel something after?
B
I. I'm not like. It's not like I get off of it and I'm like whoa. But I like it. Like I like the feeling. I actually really think this is like so weird. But. But when I really turned up on the high setting I do think it actually helps my tmj and I don't have official tmj but like I have like a lock jaw because I'm just always chronically stressed.
A
Lock jaw. Wait, isn't that a song? Lock jaw. Is that like a tick tock sound?
B
I know what you're talking about but I lock jaw.
A
I. I see it. I don't know. I.
B
But I literally do because I clenched. They're like Brooke, relax with the dancing one. Because my. I'm literally like.
A
I'm literally.
B
My elbows. No my shoulders. Sorry. Are like at my ears. And I replied, I was like I haven't been relaxed since 97 because like I so I do feel it helps me like sort of like it shakes
A
the shakes the chance lock job. No, that's so great. Yeah, I'm so glad. No, and. And this girl is saying that she does a bala bangle workout.
B
Well if you do that it makes it harder. Like it's like it adds the intensity for sure. Because you're trying to balance the whole
A
thing that is crazy. Bala bangles in general, like, just putting them on when you're like, I feel like I'll be cleaning for an hour. And I'm like, oh my gosh, I wish I had bala bangles on my wrists. Like, that's such a genius way to just get a little extra arm workout in. So she's definitely on to something.
B
Yeah, I see that.
A
Oh, here we go. Child's pose is the best. Posed past gas when it's trapped. I don't care. I said what I said you're working
B
out, I'm working out. We're. We're both in our, in our fitness journey. You're actually going to a lot of classes, I notice. Yeah, I'm a class girl.
A
Yeah. I just like, you know, it, it makes me happy. So I bring my little stacked mat. I feel very cool. You pop it out, you know, it's nice to get into routine and whatever gets you there. And maybe that's the stacked mat.
B
I love Stacked. It's actually a female founded wellness brand and they believe that movement's essential for like a balanced life, which we were both trying to do. We're not trying to like new fitness coaches over here. We're just trying to get by. Okay.
A
Yeah, okay. We're just trying to do the bare minimum and, you know, it's nice to feel good and that's why we love stacked mat. It's so convenient, you guys. If you haven't seen these already, you need to go check them out. Like, they fold up and they put away. They also, they're really easy to store. You can just pop them in your closet or in like a little small crook. Like, it's so nice. You don't have to worry about rolling up your yoga mat anymore and dealing with the mess like that. It's like so vulnerable to me. Like having to roll up your yoga mat.
B
No. Yeah.
A
Not stacked.
B
Stacked has the most amazing tools, truly to fit seamlessly into your life. So they have like the stacked mat, which I love so much. I also like the thickness and like the plushness of it. Cuz when like in yoga, when I'm doing like Shavas, that's when you lay down.
A
Is that what it is when you lay down? When you lay down?
B
Yeah, when you lay down. Like, I don't want to be laying on the floor. Like, no, I want a little cushion.
A
Like, like a cushion. Or like if we're doing workouts like with weights or whatever and your knees down. Like, I want my knee to not be in pain.
B
I know, I'm like, I don't need to have, like, bad knees. No.
A
And they also have the stacked weights, which are really cool. They're patented and they're these adjustable hand weights that allow you to flex between 2, 4 and 6 pounds without having, like, all these different weights. Like, honestly, Ryan saw them and thought they were the coolest thing ever.
B
They're genius. If you live in a city like, and you want compact gear, stacked is 100 it. Stacked has made it even easier to move with their curated set sets. From the stacked starter set to the Pilates set, the perfect pair set, and more. They have amazing bundles that are going to give you everything you need to kick start your routine and save while you're at it.

B
This episode is sponsored by BetterHelp. One of the most stressful times of my life was, like, right before I was buying my condo. I think you.
A
I was there.
B
Yes, it was ra. You were there.
A
I remember it.
B
No, and it was actually like, it was definitely, like, a lot of pressure that I was putting on myself. But the financial stress is a different kind of stress. And, like, waking up and being like, oh, my gosh, I have, like, this huge thing coming out of my account and it's just like a looming thing kind of above you. And I feel like when you're in your 20s and you're starting to make, like, larger decisions, like, financial stress is very, very, very real. Like, paying bills, everything. Like, like, you know, mommy and daddy aren't here all the time.
A
No, they are not always. And it just can bring up a lot of anxiety. You could lose sleep over it. Like, there's so many things. So that's why we love Better help. Better Help therapists work according to a strict code of conduct and are fully licensed in the U.S. both Brooke and I are big proponents of therapy. I think it's an amazing thing. And one thing that I think people get, like, so, you know, concerned about, how do I find a therapist? Whatever. No. BetterHelp does this initial matching work for you so you can focus on your therapy goals. You fill out a questionnaire and then they'll help kind of like identify your needs and preferences. And then they put you with somebody. And also, if you're not happy with your match you can switch. No. No worries.
B
We love that. And you do it online. You do it like from your home. I do therapy from bed.
A
Yeah. You could do. Some days I'm like, can we just do audio?
B
Like, I love an audio.
A
Yeah.
B

All right, so when life feels overwhelming, therapy can help. Sign up and get 10%@betterhelp.com gals that's better. H lp.com gals something that was driving me absolutely nuts because I have a thick. I have a thick mattress. I like, I don't really have to jump into bed. No. Yeah.
A
Oh yeah. Thick mattress.
B
I do. I was so sick and tired of like, my sheets rolling off my bed and like, you know, constantly fixing the corners.
A
I hate that. Cuz you can see it from the side.
B
No, I was so over it. And I saw Shannon Ford talking about this and she was like, oh, I started using bull and branch and I don't have that problem anymore. I was like, I'm messaging, like, how thick is your mattress? Like, and really works. So I actually got these when I moved into my new place. And I cannot tell you, like, they. I don't have that problem anymore.
A
I'm so happy.
B
No, they perfectly fit, like a nice thick mattress. But they're also like fantastic sheets. They're like lux. It's giving rich sheets.
A
It's very important to make your bed feel like a hotel. Honestly. I just got their, like, bed blanket and it looks so good at the end of a bed. Like, they've got all the, all the bells and whistles to make your bed amazing and to upgrade your sleep, honestly. Because it's very important for you to improve your sleep. You know, when you sleep, that's how you take on the day, the next day.
B
Yeah, I, I know that being in my bed is one of my favorite things. Like when I really get to like, you know, like, have a night where I'm like, oh, I'm gonna really sleep deep tonight.
A
Yeah. And we're so worried about our skin care and everything else before we go to bed. Like the serums, the treatments, the facials, all the things. But how about the thing that is touching your skin for eight hours every single night? That's your bedding. So bowl and branches branch bedding. It's. They've got their organic cotton sheets. They've got breathable pillows and comforters. It's also made with ultra clean Materials that are gentle on the skin and free from harsh chemicals.
B
Love that. You can upgrade your sleep with bowl and Branch. Get 15 off your order plus free shipping at bullenbranch.com gals with code gals. That's Bull and Branch. B O L L A N D branch.com gals code gals to unlock 15 off off exclusions apply. I need to try it.
A
I always go on my left side if I feel. Yeah, you know, me and my left side.
B
I feel sometimes my trap gas is a little more complex than, like, just laying on your left side.
A
How about child's pose?
B
I'll try it. I'll do the legs up. Sometimes if I'm like, really? I need to, like, do that when
A
I'm traveling on the plane?
B
No, well, you know, I don't have the. The pod to myself all the way there. I'm, you know, I'm. I did like, premium. Like, I didn't do that.
A
Yeah. Oh, you mean like when you travel internationally? Yeah, yeah, yeah, I guess that would be. Did you see that? Is it United? That's like, opening up?
B
So smart.
A
But I'm confused. So do. What do you pay for that? Basically, we saw that United is opening, like, aisles. You can get your own aisle, but how do you book your own aisle?
B
I think it's. It's just if you happen to have your own row, like, then you benefit from it. But also if it's like a family, let's just say you've like, you and two kids.
A
So then it's your own row. Yeah.
B
So then. And then the bed extends, so that part changes. So I think if you book yourself. If you book you and two others that, you know, the whole row, then like, yeah, there's. There's your bed.
A
So you and I could snuggle up.
B
We would need a third. Unless you want to pay for the third ticket.
A
See, that's. That's. I just think this is a little faulty, but maybe I'm not understanding it. Like, I just think that's silly. Then it's only if you have three people that. So it's for mom and kids.
B
I mean, well, if it's like, you, me and like a stranger and like, you're like, you, like, turn them in. Can we make it bad?
A
Like, well, yeah. Should we make it a bed?
B
No, that's what I'm saying.
A
It's like, it's a new ticket. Like a new ticket option. Like, pay extra for the. Like, it could just be you, but you're paying a little extra. But it's, but it's less than first class.
B
Maybe.
A
Or maybe it's more because even in first class on most flights, you can't lay down.
B
Down. I didn't look too much into it because I don't fly United. Really?
A
I, I literally don't fly United at all.
B
Yeah, literally.
A
So why are we talking about it?
B
I don't know. Like, I didn't, I was like, oh, that's cool. But, like, I'll never.
A
Next.
B
I'll never do that. So, like, it doesn't matter. Yeah.
A
I just thought it was so interesting because I have had that thought. Like, it would be nice to just get a row.
B
Get a row.
A
Get a row to yourself and lay down.
B
Yeah. Could we also talk about the fact that I feel like everybody. I know that it's because that, like, of course, like, you're gonna film your beauty. You did the beauty routine, like the first class beauty routine. But I feel like I see a first class beauty routine all the time. Like, is everybody just fun? First class everywhere? Can we talk about that?
A
Yeah, that's a good question.
B
Do you feel that way too? Like, I never, I never see an economy beauty routine.
A
Like, well, that's the thing. I,
B
we need some representation maybe.
A
Why don't you film a premium. Be a premium select.
B
I, I'll say out of my neighbor. It's. My person sitting next to me is literally not Ben. He's in the back. He did economy. Remember, like we said, like,
A
I know.
B
The comments in the, the last episode. They're like, she loves that man so much. I'm like, no, no, no.
A
Not when it comes to flying. Well, no, me and Katie are doing that, you know. Yeah, yeah, me and Katie are. And then.
B
Well, but you guys have, like, the pods, right?
A
Katie and I have the pods. And then Jack and Ryan have premium sl.
B
Wow.
A
I know, it's really. But like, yeah, different.
B
Okay. Anyways, no, but I'm gonna have a neighbor next to me. Don't mind the camera. Like, like, I guess maybe that's why you don't do it, because when you're in your own little pod, you can like, like, kind of do your thing.
A
I think the reason we only see first class beauty routines is because people are only doing them or filming them when they're in I, I, I, if I, I don't really do that unless it's a really long international flight. And I guess the recent ones I've been on have been with a brand, so I'm in first class, which is really cool. So then I film them. But if I'm chilling and there's someone next to me, you know, maybe I'll, I'll spray my face and like put some moisturizer like I'm not doing and yeah, yeah.
B
The last time I was on an international flight going to Italy, although not my last, but like we had comfort. Like it was like just a regular seat but whatever. And I tried to use like the bathroom towards the front and they were like no ma', am, you can't come up here. I think I told the story.
A
Oh yeah, like, and I was like. And wow.
B
I was like, I just want to like wash my face in the sink because I don't have the luxury of the space space back here so. And then I was like, I'm not gonna like I'm anti. Maybe I'm just anti beauty routines on flights.
A
Economy beauty.
B
Coming soon.
A
Coming soon. I. I can't wait to watch. Okay, let's get through a couple more here. Using my Marriott points to get free Starbucks stars. That's a good hack. I feel like a lot of people use Marriott for like work trips and stuff. Starbucks, that's good. Someone else said using my Marriott Bonvoy points I need, need to really lock in with the Marriott bond books. I don't see it a lot of Marriotts, but then a lot of hotels I stay at are like low key, integrated within.
B
If you have amex, you automatically get like status with Marriott Bonvoy.
A
Oh, so I'm, I'm in already. You should, I should check into that.
B
Like I'm pretty. Like on amex they have a page that's like all of your benefits.
A
Yes.
B
Oh, and there are so many like
A
you, you so many.
B
It's a job. Like you have to scroll for days like you're signing up for stuff but like dedicate the time, like carve it out because I feel like it's.
A
The points guy would be proud of you.
B
Yeah, no, and then I get a free water bottle when I check in now. Cuz I'm like automatically gold or whatever.
A
Check in at Marriott hotels. Free water bottle.
B
Yeah, it's pretty hey economy.
A
Like a disposable water bottle.
B
Yeah. Like.
A
That's really cool.
B
At some hotels they charge you like $7 for a water bottle. They'll give me as many as I want. Sometimes they're like, you want more?
A
I feel like anywhere I go if I ask for a water bottle they
B
would give it to me when I'm checking in. Not at every. You'd be shocked not at every hotel. You'd be shocked. I mean, at the one motel I feel like, well, they don't do plastic there, so.
A
Yeah, they've got the aluminum.
B
Yeah. But no.
A
Yeah, once you're in the room, you're so right. The water bottles are.
B
So then you just go to. Yeah, you go get your lobby water. Oh, yeah, okay. I'm talking about like, like an airport Marriott. Like, you know, not like, I'm not talking about like hotels. Like, you know. Yeah.
A
I'm just laughing because she's laughing and. Yeah, I did. I was like, can I laugh? And then she started laughing. I was like, okay, so it is what I'm thinking.
B
It's a free water bottle. It's a big. Hey, hey, AMEX rewards, baby. I'm so thankful for my Amex that I pay like 800 here for it. Gets me that one water bottle.
A
Yeah, you better make sure you get that water bottle every time.
B
No, it pays for your clear. Pays for your pre check.
A
Yeah, you get like money off your Equinox membership. There's a lot.
B
200 flight credit. I'm like, listing everything. IMAX is like, you.
A
They're like, really? You highlight the water bottle. Yeah. Oh, my God.
B
Oh, that's really funny. Witch hazel. Wipe crevices with it after you shower and you won't stink.
A
Crevices like armpits,
B
I. I guess like your elbow grease and like your, your, your crevices. Yeah, like, I guess. Yeah, your armpit, your elbow. Like your back of your knees. Like.
A
Yeah, no, that. I'm gonna try that. That's because especially after I get a spray tan, my pits smell like, for days, like two. I. I feel like after spray time, like you have two days of smelling bad. I think even no matter how many showers I take.
B
Yeah. Okay.
A
Yeah. So that's. Oh, courtesy flush. Here's a hack back the second your number two hits the water flush. Her matches. Poo pourri. Not necessary. So just do that. Like have that flusher ready.
B
Okay. All right.
A
I love it. Everyone's telling us about smelling bad. Yeah. Literally, it's. This is great.
B
Oh, this person says the Shelby and makeup routine. It's so good.
A
And I can confirm.
B
Can confirm.
A
And she's great.
B
And the drugstore products hit like, I feel like when you do, when you use her set routine, you have to do it like in the order that she says, like the milky toner that like, you know, have.
A
Yeah, yeah. And I like how she talks about, I didn't do it today cuz I was Lazy. But how she says, like foundation leave your under eyes like blank. Like don't put foundation under your eyes. I think that's a really good thing to remind people. Cuz then it gets all cakey and then you do your blush bronzer then the concealer after. She's great. I love.
B
And her makeup looks fire in person. So that's how you know Brook.
A
Can confirm.
B
Can confirm. Yeah.
A
Yeah.
B
I love that. Wow.
A
Oh, I have seen a lot about beef tallow. Took me from 12 years of acne to glowing that.
B
You really stink with that, don't you? Is that's literally like bacon grease. Like it's.
A
Oh, yeah, that's what beef towel is.
B
Beef towel is beef fat.
A
So it's like when you make bacon and there's no. Well, well, it's like fat from the meat.
B
Yeah, but like the fat. Yeah. Like when you cook a burger.
A
Yeah.
B
And you have the fat. Isn't that literally beef towel? Am I making that up?
A
That's pretty crazy. If so maybe they get it from the meat and then they like instead of after it's cooked. Like, I don't know.
B
DIY beef tallow.
A
Just have to look into that. Guys, we need a lot of people commenting down below with all these things that are confused.
B
A lot of. A lot of different things.
A
Oh, I've heard of this AMC A list. It's a. She said it's a steal if you see at least two movies a month. I believe it's like a membership. And yeah, you get. I think it's unlimited movies.
B
I want to say it's like 20. So it's like it pays for like.
A
Like two.
B
Like. Yes. Well, no, it's unlimited. But it's like if you're going to.
A
But it pay. If as long as you're going to see two, then it's worth it. No, I think that's so cool. And honestly, it pushes you to go out to the movie.
B

B
It only looks good for one day. Day.
A
