C
That's what I heard.
B
That's so like, boy of you.
C
I like throwing on the ground.
B
I'm an animal.
C
My body just was rejecting the offense.
B
I realize people think I'm just like, performative, you know, you're not too big
C
for Gals on the Go.
B
Hey guys, what's up? Welcome back to Gals on the Go podcast. I'm Danielle.
C
And I'm Brooke. Happy Wednesday.
B
Happy Wednesday. And major congratulations to our half marathon runner over here.
C
You guys. I didn't know if I was gonna finish, to be completely honest. I mean, once I was running it, like, I knew I was gonna finish, but the days leading up, I was so, so nervous.
B
You really were.
C
No, I was so nervous actually the day of the race. I mean, I'm just gonna start off strong. I pooped like seven times.
B
Yeah.
C
That morning.
B
The nervous.
C
No. And I, like, ended up, like, running late because of it. Because I like, legitimately, like, couldn't stop, like, and I was like, I gotta get everything out. Like, I know this is so. I'm sorry. Like, this is a lot but, like, I was so nervous. I literally, like, almost shit myself. Like, I was so nervous.
B
Like, but I finished. That's like me before gals and go live shows. So I understand. That was me always. I kept going to the bathroom like, oh, I didn't.
C
I guess I'd never really.
B
You never remember? You were like, oh, I don't really have that.
C
No.
B
Once or twice you did. I don't know.
C
No, I don't know why. This was a new type of nerves because I've never done anything like uncomparable to anything I've ever done in my life. Yeah, I guess like the only thing comparable is like Soul Cycle, but that was like a meet up. Like it was different. Like, I don't know.
B
Yeah.
C
Like physical stuff, like athletics, you know, that's big. I'm not really. They don't come naturally to me. So I was nervous and there's.
B
Were there porta potties if God forbid,
C
there were many on route. Yeah, yeah.
B
En route. Yeah.
C
I mean, I want to ask you about Stagecoach. We have so much to talk about the guests.
B
Oh yeah. Here I am just like, I'm like here me about the half marathon.
C
No, I mean I could, I could go right into the half marathon if that's what you want me to talk about.
B
Well, yeah, I guess, basically. What? Brook. What?
C
I feel like we have other business to cover. No. Anything else? No.
B
Well, basically you're tuning in to the. Hello. Exactly. I just had to say a big congrats to Brooke. But yeah, basically the gals have been on the go. Haha. Oh my gosh. Brooke ran a half marathon. I went to Stagecoach. I'm officially done with the desert.
C
That's a wrap.
B
That's a wrap for the desert.
C
2026 season comes to an end.
B
I also, I've never, I've literally never related to people when they're like, I feel puffy. Like a big.
C
Yeah.
B
Big drinking. I feel puffy. Like I. I see with the girl. Oh my God. I. I haven't like touched my gua sha in a minute. Oh, that came out of retirement.
C
Really?
B
I am. Ryan's like. Because I don't think I've literally used this since living with Ryan. I mean, he's seen these things. He was like, what are you doing so intensely to your face? I'm sitting there last night, like getting after it, like trying from the drinking
C
or from the travel. You think?
B
I think it is the drinking.
C
Okay.
B
I drank a lot.
C
Really?
B
Yeah.
C
No, you were keeping up. Like, I mean I, you know, I, I see the, the footage and I was drinking. No, I mean there was a girl who had like a shooter on her and like I saw it out of the corner of my eye. I said, I got to get far away from her. I'm going to throw up right now. Like that is on mile like 8 or 9.
B
Like so not even like right about to finish.
C
No, no, I mean we still had a. We still have the hardest part to go. Like.
B
Yeah, the hardest part was, wow, that's like that's baller crazy. I think that's really crazy. I would pass out.
C
I just saw a pop star. Katie just ran a marathon, and she did that too.
B
She did?
C
Yeah. She took a shot at the door. I'm like. And she still had an amazing time. I can't. I didn't want to stop for anything. I was like, I got to keep going straight. Like, I. I'm not gonna make my time. I had no time.
B
But, like, you know. Oh, my gosh. That is absolutely crazy. Well, I feel like we should just get right into it then. Welcome back to Gals on the Go. We're gonna hear about Brooks run now.
C
Oh, my God.
B
So you ran the Brooklyn Experience half marathon?
C
Yeah. They said there was 27,000 people pledged to finish. I don't know how many people finish, because I have to tell you, I saw people dropping Danielle. No, I was like. And then one. When you start seeing that, you're like, holy.
B
You think you're like.
C
I'm like. I'm in a. And I'm in a battlefield, like. And I'm like, oh, running through.
B
Jumping over people.
C
No, towards the end. Yeah. No bodies were dropping, and that's, like, what.
B
Were they being helped?
C
Yes, of course. Yes, yes, yes, yes. Well, also, like, some people, like, stop, and you think, like, you know, they're, like, massaging their leg or something, and, like, you know, it's like a temporary stop. And then some people, like, you know, hit the deck, like. Yeah. Like a real collapse.
B
Was it high?
C
Yeah, no, it was the perfect running weather. Totally. It was overcast, so I didn't have to worry about that. It was raining in the morning, but I didn't. I wasn't in the early shift, like, my. I was scheduled to start at 9. I ended up starting at 9:40 because of some production delays and. Production delays? Yes. There was some good jokes going on. Thank you. However, it was, like, the perfect. Maybe in the 50s, but, like. And I had layers on. I ended up, like, shutting my layers, handing them to Ben on the run, because people were. You could donate your layers, essentially. Like, you could wear, like, a windbreaker and, like, donate it right before you start, which I think is so smart.
B
It's really smart.
C
Yeah. So people were doing that, but I was, like, still kind of cold in the beginning, so I needed to, like. You know, I actually had a really, like. It was good. I was happy with the weather. I was happy with everything. It really couldn't have been more, like, ideal conditions for me, personally.
B
Good. You know, ideal conditions Ideal running.
C
I. I have to say, I started out Friday night. I went to my friend's concert. My. My two friends who are DJs, me and.
B
Oh, yes.
C
Yeah. Love them. I, like, spent the day with them. Like, had a lovely day, like, went to their concert. You know, I'm backstage with Beth. I literally was like, I do shows too, sometimes.
B
Yeah. You're like, I know what it's like backstage, like, what's on your rider.
C
Yeah, yeah. No, theirs is way more legitimate. Like, you know, because it's like. Well, they were the opener and, like, they had a separate dressing room from, like, the main person.
B
Wow.
C
Yeah. No, it was like a real shout, Daniel. Like, I walked backstage and, like, the main guy was, like, from, like, the main group. That was. He was like, hey, what's up? Like, you know, like, shake, shakes our hands. He's like, have a good night, guys. Like that. Well, so, yeah, it was very. I felt like groupie. It was really.
B
Yes. Oh, my gosh, you have DJ friends now.
C
Yeah, Yeah, I do have DJ friends. Wow. So then I was like, having a future. Nothing crazy, but, you know, like, I was.
B
That is kind of crazy before half marathon for you.
C
So that's what I was. I didn't realize that because it was Friday. The half marathon's not until Sunday. I knew Saturday was. I didn't really have big plans. Like, I was going to the farmer's market and, like, chilling out mostly. But then, like, towards the end of the night, like, a girl who was, like, kind of in our group, she was like, oh, like, I'm gonna. And they were. They played early. Like, this is like 9 o', clock, 10 o'.
B
Clock.
C
And she was like, oh, I'm gonna. Like, I'm gonna turn in. Like, I'm running a half marathon Sunday. Like, you know, And I was like, holy shit. Like, I'm running that half marathon, too. Should I not be doing this right now?
B
Should I be going home?
C
Yeah. And no one knew. Everyone's like, you're running that marathon.
B
Wait, no, that is. I just assumed you didn't drink.
C
Yeah, I mean, it wasn't like, to a crazy, but I ended up staying up pretty late, so I guess that was, like, probably not ideal.
B
But also, it's not like you had to get up so early on Sunday for the race.
C
I still did, though, because I wanted digestion time and stuff.
B
Did you have, like, a coffee?
C
I did. I had a coffee. I had a full breakfast, which normally I don't do before running, but in this case, like, you have to.
B
Yeah.
C
So you had pancakes and it was great. I mean, I think you just need to give yourself digestion. Like, I can't like eat a plate of pancakes and like go for a run immediately. I need like two hours in between.
B
Like. Well, you're always like that. Just on trips in general. You're like, I'm going to wake up an hour early to go get coffee, go to the bathroom. Like you have. So. Yeah, I guess a little like. How late did you say up on Friday with your DJ friend?
C
I was like, I didn't go to bed probably till 12:30 or 1.
B
Like, yeah, that's actually not as crazy.
C
It's not that crazy. But then we went then like, I'm waking up at 8am for the farmers market.
B
Yeah, true.
C
No rest. No rest. No.
B
I got DJs, farmers market marathons.
C
That. So that's. Okay. So then the morning of the marathon also, I did like the proper, like, carb load and you know. Yes, you've got a carb load. Like, whatever. I've, I've never really properly fueled for a run before. Okay, let me be clear on that because the longest run I've ever done prior to this point was 8 1/2 miles probably four months ago in the wintertime. And it was the most miserable day of my life. I was coming home crying. I was like, I feel weak, I feel sick. Like, I was in bed the rest of the day because I didn't, I didn't feel myself. Right. I didn't have like a big. I probably had like a little granola bar or something like. But you need to have like proper breakfast.
B
Yeah.
C
The night before, start drinking electrolytes. Like, you need to like, really like, take care of your body. Right. So this time I was like, I'm actually going to like, try to do that. And it works. Turns out it works out.
B
It works.
C
Yes. So I did a big plate of pasta for dinner with garlic bread and then I did the pancakes in the morning because there's like formulas for like how much carbs you're supposed to do. But I was just like, I'm just going to have as many as I feel comfortable.
B
Yeah.
C
You know, like, I'm not gonna manage it. Yeah, I managed.
B
Whatever you can manage.
C
Whatever I managed, I was able to consume that. Okay. So then the whole run day started out because. So my, my call time was between 8 and 8:30 to start the run at 9. Now they say they write all. They write, take public transit. Take public transit. But I was looking on Uber. I was like, I know the streets that are closed. I can take an Uber if I call it from this corner.
B
Okay.
C
But of course, there was so much traffic then because everyone's using, like, you
B
know, so many of the walks either.
C
Yeah.
B
You know what? Could you have walked there?
C
No, the start was in, like, Green Point.
B
Oh, the start.
C
Okay, sorry. So the start of the race, like, I'm looking out my window and I'm seeing people run.
B
That's why I asked, because I was like, oh, she could just hop out outside and get going.
C
No, that was like, you know, later.
B
Later in the race.
C
Yeah. So I see them going. I was like, oh, my God, this is stressful. Whatever. I end up, like, getting there shortly before nine. This is my first race. There is a lot of instruction. They're screaming about corrals. Like, corrals are open.
B
Corral.
C
I don't know what a corral is, but that's like. So you're in. Let's just say, like, zone four was, like, my actual, like, zone that I was starting in, which is at 9 o'. Clock. But then there's a corral A through F, which is basically, like, your position.
B
Okay.
C
But your race doesn't really start till you, like, past the start line. Like, that's when, like, your thing, like, triggers and, like, your time actually starts. So it's not like it actually matters,
B
but they just can't be on the same line. That makes complete sense.
C
But I didn't know then they were like, corrals are open. And they're like, corrals are closed. So I, like, missed that. And I was like, wait, did I just miss it? And I, like, went up to the water table. I was like, I'm sorry, this is my first time. Like, I've never run a race before. But, like. And they're like, no, no, it's okay. You can. You can join the next one. Like, 9:40 was the last one.
B
Oh, my gosh.
C
And I was nervous because I knew that the finish line closed at 12:30. So I got. And I. That made me nervous. I was like, damn. Like, my whole goal is just to finish this race right. Like, and then I was like, now I'm on a little bit of a time constraint.
B
I didn't know finish lines closed.
C
That's what I heard. The streets start to close because we're open back up, I guess I should say, because the streets are all closed. And yes, it's, like, noon. They need to open the streets because there's so much traffic. Obviously, and it's like a mass. It's all through Brooklyn too. Every street. Like it is. Yeah. It was honestly, like a great route. It was. It was good views.
B
Maybe some new coffee shops. You want to try?
C
Yeah, it was. It was so cool, like, running down the streets that I was like, wow. Normally, like, I, like, I don't look at it. Yeah, totally. You pay more attention because you're like, I guess, just aware.
B
Did you have your phone on do not disturb?
C
No, I didn't.
B
So, like, did you, like, when I texted you, did you hear it in your ear?
C
I didn't have it on. Announcing.
B
Oh, okay. I was wondering.
C
Yes. And my hands were very cold. Couldn't really text.
B
Oh, no, I wasn't obviously getting a text back, but I sent it and I was like, oh, she'll see it later. And then I was like, oh, maybe she has it on, like, the announcing.
C
But I was like, I need to focus on my.
B
No, I don't think anyone has it as announcing. I was just. Yeah, for a run. I just.
C
No, no, I'm not a runner. I know. I needed. I needed my music. I had my DJ sets lined up. I, like, I saved intentionally.
B
Did you ever pull out your phone? Yeah, because you took.
C
I had. No, I have my phone in my hand the whole time.
B
Really.
C
I wanted to have it for easy access to take video.
B
Yes.
C
But I wasn't like, texting.
B
You're an influencer.
C
Yeah, of course. No, I did bare minimum texting. Like, literally, like, spelling things wrong. Like, texting Ben, like, I have to hand you shirts. But, like, it was spelled all wrong because, like, I had shed off my.
B
You didn't text. You were.
C
No, because my headphones were connected, you know, it was a whole thing. Yeah, it was a whole production. Production.
B
Production delays.
C
Yes.
B
New vocal stem.
C
Yes. Production blaze. So anyway, so now I'm. I'm. I start. I'm going. I feel really good. In the beginning, like, honestly, I was like, this is shit's easy. Let's go. Like, in the bag. Ideal conditions. But they always. They told me they were like there. That you have to save yourself for the hills. In the end, everyone told me this about this race. They're like, it's amazing. It's a great route. Like, but just like, beware of the hills at the end. Like, save some gas in the tank. You know, I take my fucking gel. Like, my. Throw it on the ground.
B
I'm an animal.
C
You know, I knew how to. When to do it because I saw them all on the floor. At certain sections of the race, I, like, saw them and I was like, I guess this is where everybody takes.
B
I guess mile five is my first one. That's so interesting.
C
I know. It was really interesting. And it really is, like, not ideal. Like, you need to do it because your body, like, runs out of, like, resources, essentially.
B
Yeah.
C
But I, like, it's not fun to, like, eat and run at the same time. And then drinking. I stopped at all the water stations. I would have, like, a Gatorade. Like, a little swig of the Gatorade and then a little swig of the water. And then there are bathrooms on the way. There's porta potties. I did not have to go. There were lines at every single one of them. Lines, Yeah, I did see lines. Yeah.
B
That could affect your time.
C
No, that's what I was thinking. I was like, I guess these runners don't take their time seriously, but I guess you can, like, subtract, like, on your Strava and, like, really make it work for you. But, like, technically your official time, like, will be.
B
Oh, but you could internally know that.
C
Yes.
B
You were peeing or something.
C
Yes. Because people do that. Like, they'll take a break on their own. Like.
B
Yeah.
C
To, like, go to their car or something and, like. Yeah, deduct that time. I don't even know how to do that. Like, there's a way in. Like, Strava.
B
Like, sounds complicated.
C
Like, I don't even fucking know, guys. This shit's so crazy. Crazy. So then the last. Honestly, the very last, like, mile 12 is a 13.1 mile endeavor. Mile 12 is huge hill in Prospect park, and it's like a steady, progressive uphill. It's not necessarily, like. I wouldn't describe it as steep, but it's like, throughout the entire mile, like, you're going uphill. Yeah. And you know that the end is so near, but it's so. It's like, really. It is a mental battle at that point.
B
Yeah.
C
And I was. I did walk at some points. I did. I sped walk, but I would, like, walk, like, catch my breath and then, like, continue. It wasn't like, I, like, gave up and was like, I'm just walking, you know? So I was walking a little bit up the hill, and I was, like, you know, battling with myself. I was like, you know, I could do it one more mile. And a woman, like, comes from behind, and she is just screaming, and she, like, grabs my arm. She's like, come on, let's go. We can do this. And I was like, I Was like, literally on the verge of tears. I was like, I can do this. And I ran the rest of the way.
B
She was an angel.
C
No. And she was encouraging everybody around us, too. It was like, it was really from. I was like, where were you sent from?
B
Like, that's really.
C
Right. The community.
B
Did you. Did they have those, like, runners that are like, the pace.
C
They did. I didn't see any of them. So I guess I wasn't keeping a study. I think I was all over the place. I was. There was no, like, similar group of people.
B
You never were like, that's my buddy. Yeah.
C
No, no, I.
B
Like, did you see anyone you knew at all? Not, like, spectators, but, like, did you see Cat or.
C
She ran the Maybelline half.
B
Oh. But was it on the same day?
C
Yeah, it was the Central park women's Maybelline half.
B
So that's what Macy did.
C
Yeah. Yeah. They all ran with lipstick on.
B
Yes. Yeah. No, I thought that was part of the Brooklyn.
C
Wow.
B
I know.
C
No, this was a co. Ed any. Anyone could have raised all that was really, like.
B
It was. You know, I thought they were on, like, the Maybelline team for. Because that's what they did for the marathon. Okay, I see. I see. So no, you.
C
I don't know what the route even was for that. I just signed up for this one because it seemed like it was like a big one that people signed up for.
B
Yeah. And it's in Brooklyn.
C
Yeah. No, it was really cool. I threw up at the end. I did throw up.
B
Wow. It's so, like, boy of you, like, like outside, just, like, finished at the end.
C
They have, like, stations of things. You get your emergency blanket.
B
Did you, like, need that?
C
Honestly, I was kind of cold because, like, I was in no clothes.
B
True.
C
And it was like, actually 50 degrees. Yes. At first I didn't need it, but then, like, on the walk out of the park, I was like, actually, like, shivering, you know, because I start covering.
B
Yeah, yeah, Makes sense. I always wonder if people actually need it.
C
That's why. No, of course. And you look well.
B
Yeah.
C
Take my picture at the emergency.
B
Yeah, obviously.
C
And then they have, like, apples and, like, bagels. But, like, like raw bagels. Like, you know, just like a bit like. Yeah.
B
I was like, toast.
C
Like, I also, like, you're not. I mean, I wasn't hungry after. Like, my stomach was kind of. It had like, liquids and gels and just like.
B
It was. Yeah, it was pretty rough.
C
So then I saw apples. Was like a few bites of an apple. Met up with Ben. You Know, we take our pictures, whatever. We start walking out of the park, and I, like, start to, like, kind of feel unwell. And I was like, okay, we're gonna take an Uber, you know? So then I'm, like, doubled over, like, waiting for the Uber. I was like, okay, we get in the Uber. So much traffic. I'm in the Uber. Like, Ben was like, drink some water. I was like, I'm gonna throw up. Like, I'm gonna throw.
B
You feel that little taste in your mouth, like.
C
And he was like, okay. So then we hop out of the Uber, and I'm just throwing up on the side of the street. Like, in Brooklyn. Yeah. A woman walking by saw me throwing up and handed us a pack of tissues. Yeah, yeah.
B
She's like.
C
She's like, no, she didn't even say anything. She just handed it to Ben.
B
She was like, you had lots of, like, nice women.
C
So nice. Everybody was so, like, that really showed me. Like, it restored my faith in humanity that day. I was just like, people are amazing. Like, yeah.
B
So amazing. Yeah.
C
I didn't throw it. Like, it wasn't a lot.
B
Yeah, you just held.
C
My body just was rejecting the run on both ends. Like, it was.
B
Of course. So was there any moment of, like, oh, my God, I don't think I can keep doing this.
C
No, I really. At all points, I was like, I can do it. But there was, like, my pace slowed a lot in the beginning. I was like, holy shit, I am flying. Like, I was making my best times, but it was just because the terrain was, like, flat. And then it went to hills, which. And you're tired by that point, and you're like, whatever. And then at the end, I was like, I'm literally never doing that again. You know, two days later, I'm like, maybe I could do it again. Yeah, the full marathon. You have to. You're nuts. Like, I'm sorry.
B
You're nuts.
C
You're nuts.
B
It's double what you did.
C
I can't imagine doing it that dou. Like, and I know you get better, and I know you train better. Yeah, I could have trained a little bit better towards the end. I'm sure if I did, it would have gone a little bit smoother, but too many travels. Yeah. You have to really lock in for training, too. Like, you have to be like, I'm not gonna. Like, even if I am traveling, I'm gonna do it. Like, and I just wasn't. I wasn't on it, you know?
B
Yeah. And so are you going to continue to run?
C
So I Decided I determined that like my sweet spot of running is like five miles. Like, that's to the point that I like don't like, I'm enjoying myself.
B
Yeah.
C
And I get a good workout. So, like. Yes. But I don't think I'm gonna continue like long distances after that. But I could do five miles and then like also do like a workout class. Like, you know what I mean?
B
Right.
C
Like, I also want to mix in other workouts again.
B
Yeah.
C
The long story short is that if I could do it truly, I'm telling you guys, anyone can do it. And I'm seeing all different walks of life run this. Like, it actually is like emotional in that sense that you're like, wow. We're all like doing this, you know, and all ages too. I'm telling you. There was like an 88 year old woman who ran faster than me. I'm like, are you serious right now? Like, that is crazy. She finished like with a better time.
B
Like, how inspiring. That's amazing.
C
Yeah.
B
No, and it really is true. Like, I've seen you go from literally never running at all to literally running a half marathon. It's amazing. You should be so proud of yourself. Thank you.
C
And the race day, there's a lot of adrenaline. People kept saying that. They're like, oh, the adrenaline. Like there really is because there's so many people cheering you on. Yeah. Such funny signs, Danielle. Such funny signs.
B
Oh, my God.
C
I saw two summer house related signs. There's one that said run like west is following you or like behind you or something.
B
That's really funny.
C
Another one was run like Amanda Betula's behind you.
B
I was like, wow.
C
No, they were. There was like pop culture, like 6, 7.
B
Did you know like where Ben was going to be?
C
Yeah. Yeah. We had like communicated about it and that was like a nice way to break it up.
B
Was he able to get to each spot?
C
He did the like not midway point but like on the race and then at the end.
B
Okay. So they had enough time and it was.
C
Yes. But they like didn't let the like, there was like a family reunion area and then like where the runners get out. I didn't realize that those were like two separate areas. I was like, I'm looking for you. But I was in like the all runners section. Oh.
B
Like leave and go to the reunion area. Oh.
C
Ready for my reunion.
B
That's so cute. Fun. I texted him at one point and he was like. I was like, how's she doing? He was like, I just gave her. I just took her jacket. She seems to be doing well.
C
Yeah, I was. I was making it out okay at that point. I was still, like, I wasn't flustered. Like, I was okay.
B
Yeah.
C
After, like, you know, mile eight, then I started, like, seeing some hills. You also get to a point where you're like, damn, how am I still in mile eight? Because, like, there's a big sign for every mile. I was like, how. How is it not mile nine yet?
B
Like, yeah, that would. That would trip me up.
C
Like, in the beginning, I felt like I was like, yeah, that's. Yeah. And then it starts to slow.
B
Yeah.
C
It's a mental. They say a lot of running is mental. I never really understood that. I was like, no, I. I physically can't do it. But, like, after you get to the point of, like, you can physically run, like, let's just say a 5K.
B
Yeah.
C
And not, like, want to die. It is mental. I do agree with that.
B
Wow.
C
I feel like we're constantly refining our closets and, like, you know, getting rid of, like, the trendy pieces at least. I'm trying to, like. I'm trying to make my closet, like, more, like, classics, like, that I can, like, do the outfits and, like, especially for, like, Japan, I wanted, you know, basics that, like, go together.
B
Yeah, absolutely. I don't know. I'm sitting here, I'm just listening to you in awe, because I feel the same way. I'm about to go to Japan, and I'm thinking, oh, my gosh, like you were saying, you ended up wearing, like, all the same pieces and how they went together so well. That's why we love Quince.
C
We love Quinn so much. Quince makes it easy to refresh your every day this spring with pieces that truly feel as good as they look. They use premium materials, like 100 European linen, organic cotton, and ultrasound soft denim.
B
They're lightweight linen pants. You guys are. I'm about to be wearing them over all of my swimsuits. Like, they're so, so nice. They have linen dresses and tops that all start at, like, $30. They're very, like, effortless, very breathable, and you can easily wear them on repeat, like. Like Brooke did in Japan.
C
My mom just got a gorgeous leather jacket from Quinn's. Oh, no way.
B
Yeah.
C
She saw one of her friends wearing it, and then she was like, I have to get. Like, they just have great. They've great outerwear. They've great. Just, like, you know, those pieces that you're kind of looking to fill the gap in your wardrobe. I feel like Quince is truly the spot for it. Yeah.
B
And it's so nice because of that price point. It's not like, oh, should I buy it? Should I not like, oh, it's, it's a semi easy decision, you know.
C
Yeah. It's an investment, but it's not like
B
break Breaking the bank.
C
Yeah.
B
Which we absolutely love. Everything at quince is priced 50 to 80% less than similar brands and this is because they work directly with the ethical factories and cut out the middlemen. So you're paying for that quality and craftsmanship but not the brand markup, which we love.
C
We, we love quints. We have quints for our home. We, we've got rugs, we've got bedding. Like truly, everything on quints is great. Like you guys.
B
Yeah. I compliment so many of my friends on random things and they're like, it's Quinn's, you know, whatever it may be. I have this sweater that comes out every spring summer transition because I need it over my shoulders at all times.

And so we're constantly having to remake the bed and, like, do the sheets and stuff. And there is nothing I hate more than when the sheets start slipping off the corners.
C
Oh, my God. I can't stand it. That's like, actually, like, it drives me nuts.
B
No, it's. It's actually the worst. I'm like, hello, I'm just trying to make the bed or if the pillows don't feel supportive anymore or, I don't know, I just feel like a lot of people keep their bedding a lot longer than they actually should and it starts wearing down and then you're like, wait, this is affecting my sleep. It's. It's a whole thing. So that's why you need to upgrade your bed with Bowen Branch.
C
Bowen Branch creates everything you need to make your bed feel finished. They've got their signature sheets, their supportive pillows, cozy blankets, and luxurious comforters. And they're all crafted from high quality organic materials. I'm seconding that, Danielle. Like, I seriously am obsessed with my Bowen brand sheets. They do not fall off the. Like, they're the type of sheets that after you wash them and you get into your bed, you're like doing like the leg rubbing thing when you're. Yes.
B
Bicycle windshield. Yes.
C
It just feels good.
B
Yeah. So if you're looking for like a starter kit or like, where to go, like, most people start with a signature sheet set and then they quickly, quickly add the comforter or the waffle blanket to finish the bed. I have the waffle blanket and it looks so good at the end of the bed. It just kind of like ties it all together, gives it that hotel look, if you will.
C
Yeah. And it's big, which we, you know, if you have a big bed you get a big waffle blanket.
B
Yeah, you get it. It's just part of staying at the hotel Danielle and Brooke.

I'm realizing that, like to stay regular, everyone's like, well, how much fiber are you having every day? And I'm like, probably not a lot because, like, I don't really eat a lot of fruits and vegetables. Like, let's be so for real. But I feel like I've just become more aware of the impact of fiber. Especially my trip to Japan, you know, I was backed up, like things are happening and I feel like most people think fiber is just about staying regular. But fiber actually plays a major role in energy, stability, recovery, focus, and overall performance. Now that I'm a major athlete, I really care about my overall performance as a marathon athlete.
B
As a marathon athlete, no, it's very important that you've got some good gut health because gut health is seriously that foundation that supports nutrient absorption, energy, mood and recovery. And the momentous fiber plus was boosting built you guys to address that missing link in a way that most fiber products honestly don't. When gut health is not dialed in, other supplements and training habits like, don't work as well. Like, you know, if you're running, you know, you can be doing everything else right. But without that strong foundation, results fall short. And fiber is often the missing link. I feel like whenever I'm talking to someone, they're like, you just need more fiber.
C
I know. And like, you know, you hate to hear it, but like, it's, it is true. Like, this is really that missing piece. And the momentous fiber plus is a complete three in one formula. So it's, it's easy. It's got the soluble fiber, the insoluble fiber, and a prebiotic resistant starch. This combination is designed to support gut health from start to finish, feeding beneficial gut bacteria, improving digestion and helping stabilize blood sugar for steady energy without spikes or crashes.
B
Right now, momentous is offering our listeners up to 35 off your first order with promo code GALS ON THE GO. Head to livemomentous.com and use promo code galsonthego for up to 35 off your first order. That's livemomentous.com promo code GALS ON THE GO. This episode is sponsored by Better Help. You guys. May is mental health awareness month. If you didn't know that. And it's just, it's a good reminder that whatever you're going through, you don't have to go through it alone. I feel like both Brooke and I are really good examples of how life is a journey.
C
Oh, life is a journey, baby. So, you know, we've got the highs and lows, and I feel like sometimes I feel like I'm carrying everything on my back. Like, you know, I feel like you feel like that sometimes, and you really should, and then sometimes things are a little lighter, and I feel like therapy, like, just flexes with your lifestyle, and it's important to keep that important in your life.
B
It does flex with your lifestyle. That is why we love Better Help. You guys. I have a flight this week. I am doing therapy on my way to the airport.
C
On the way? Why not?
B
Because they make it so easy. You could do video call, you could do phone call. You can message, like, better help is just so amazing in that way. And like, like, I'm not letting therapy not be involved in my life because, yes, I'm having a good week, but I do need to, like, I need to talk to someone constantly, and it's just really so nice. And Better help has just those amazing therapists that work according to a strict code of conduct and they're fully licensed in the U.S. yeah.
C
I feel like if you're feeling anxious and you, like, don't really know, like, where to turn to, I feel like there's a lot of times in life I feel like that, and I'm, like, dumping my problems on Danielle or my mom or just someone. And I love having a therapist to like, like, vent it all out with. And BetterHelp does all that initial matching work for you so you could focus on your therapy goals. You fill out a short questionnaire and they're going to match you with a therapist. And if you don't like them, you could switch them at any time from their list of tailored wrecks.
B
Yeah, no, it's very customizable to you. And you don't have to be on this journey alone. So find support and have someone with you in therapy. Sign up and get 10 off at betterhelp.com gals that's better. H E lp.com/gals. I saw this TikTok and this is not what you're doing. But it was like, I've never felt more pressured to run. I've not. I've not even felt more pressured to, like, drink or. I forget how she worded it. Like, why do I feel more pressured to run right now than I do to drink?
C
Oh, I'm doing every basic, like, literally I'm hitting like the big whatever. Like Japan. Running, like everything. Yes. Yes.
B
Yeah. What is the big three Go. You have to go to Japan this year. Run a marathon or half marathon.
C
Married. Bye.
B
Bye. That's funny. Yeah.
C
Bingo card.
B
Bingo card. 20, 26. Bingo card.
C
No, it quite literally is. And I was saying now I'm gonna have time to get back to my other hobbies because, you know, needlepoint was like five hobbies ago. Like.
B
Yeah, actually it's been a minute.
C
No, I. I need to get back to that. I remember reading. Remember reading?
B
Even posted a book.
C
When do I have the time?
B
No, literally, I guess on the plane. But like, sometimes.
C
But then I need a point on the plane. You can only do so many plane activities.
B
Like, so you do needlepoint on the plane these days.
C
That's what I've been doing is my like.
B
Oh, so you're still needle pointing.
C
Yeah, but not as. I'm not as serious.
B
Yeah, you know, serial needle pointer. Yes.
C
Okay, now I want to hear about Stagecoach because I know that you have new celebrity friends. So I just want to make sure that it's not, you know, you're not too big for gals on the show.
B
No pictures. Wait, who am I? New celebrity friends. Oh, Madeline Kind. Yeah, we are friends. No, no, no. Actually, she did not follow me or anything. No, no, no, no. Guys, it was so crazy. I went to Stagecoach with t. Mobile.
C
House was stacked.
B
The house was sick. It was bachelor nation and me and then Henry and then this girl, Fia. I would say it was like a ton of bachelor people. Couples that met on bachelor in paradise. And then obviously Joey and Kelsey. It was Alex and Andrew, Joey and Kelsey and then Fia, James and like her bestie college roommate. So it's perfect that I brought my bestie college roommate, Delaney. And then Rachel. Rachel Konnell. And then. What am I trying to say? Henry.
C
Henry.
B
Henry. Henry.
C
Last name. Like, I feel like it's Henry.
B
His last name is Smith. Oh, but so he goes by Henry. Henry. And it was so funny. I was sitting down, I was telling Ryan, like the whole trip, and he's like, yeah, it was this person. Henry. Henry. Henry. And he, I just kept talking and he goes, I'm sorry. Henry. Henry, Henry. Like, I just said it was normal. Yeah. He was like, you just said that like it's a normal name. Like I should know. And I was like, all right, all right. Oh my God. My new obsession is Henry Henry. Henry really is the funniest, kindest, like, he is just the coolest guy. I like, didn't really follow him before this. Now I'm literally. I texted Delaney. I go, I miss Henry. Like, he is so, so, like the
C
definition of like the trip that changed your life.
B
Yes.
C
I miss you guys.
B
Like, it's been one day and you know what? You want to know what? The group chat is popping right now and it's not because of me. Like, people keep like, remember this that we talked about? Here's that tick tock. Or like people are like, no, it's a good missing you guys. No, it's. It's really cute. But like, it actually wasn't me that's doing it.
C
Oh, no. So you're. It was a really good group.
B
No. Yeah. T Mobile does such a good job, you know, like curating good vibes of good people that they just love being around that love the brand, whatever. But yeah, I'm not going to lie. When we got to the house and Henry brings his girlfriend Madeleine, we were like, wow.
C
And she was the plus one.
B
She was the plus one. Like she was the one helping him take his content.
C
Are you serious?
B
Like, we were at Club Magenta and we were all like getting our content done and there she is, like helping him get the portable charger, you know, like, it was her.
C
No, she. She was on a job.
B
She was on a job.
C
Like she.
B
And she is just the coolest, most down to earth person. Which I just kind of had a feeling she would be like that. But I mean, like the first day she's like, hey guys, I'm Maddie.
C
I was like, hey, Maddie, what's your name?
B
No, I totally like, did not pretend I didn't like say like, oh my God, I loved you. Like, I think she knows, like, I'm a 27 year old girl. Totally demo. Like, of course, like, we knew, we all knew who she was. I actually didn't know this. I don't know if I'm living under a rock. We were. I wanted to film the. A music video. Our music video. I wanted to film a video to house tour and show our house and someone was like, oh my God, you should get Maddie in it because she was in the music video. I was like, oh, she was in the house tour music video.
C
I don't think I saw that.
B
I didn't know this. And I was like, how did this happen? She's like, oh, yeah. Well, me and Sab, we go to the same nail girl, and it just, like, kind of happened. And then Sabrina, like, asked me if she was. I guess Sabrina said to Madeline, like, I'm forcing us to hang out by you being in my music video if you're down. And she was like, of course. So now I want to watch the music video. But I was just like, oh, Sab, that's.
C
So was she there the full weekend?
B
Full weekend, the full Monty. Well, actually, sorry, her and Henry did leave on Sunday afternoon because they had to get back because she was, like, going to film somewhere.
C
On the job.
B
Yeah, she was on a job.
C
I was like, oh, my God.
B
Full of respect. But we were sad for them to leave because they were such a. She brought, like, this camera with her and she kept taking photos of everyone. I really want those photos, like, and so much so she'd be like, wait, Delaney Daniel come back. Like, I need to take another photo of you guys. It's like. It was just. She was so cool and so. Oh. And then, you know, she did the classic, like, somehow Georgia came up and we're talking and she was like, wait, so what sorority would I be in at uga?
C
Oh, my God, that's so funny.
B
Yeah, so that was fun. We deemed her Phi Meal, we decided. Or kyo. We couldn't decide. Yeah.
C
Is she, like, like, her character that she plays in the show, though? Like, it's hard to, like, like, yes,
B
in the sense that she's like this chill, down to earth person.
C
Because, like, I can't separate the person from the character in my brain right now.
B
Well, right now her hair is really short. So, like, I didn't. Like, I kept forgetting that that's Sarah Cameron, honestly. And she's done, like, other roles now, too, but they are just the cutest couple. They were so fun, so nice. Like Henry, his lifelong mission now is to find Delaney a man. Like, he. He couldn't get over the fact he was like, oh, my gosh, we're holding a meeting at Tompkins Square park this Wednesday. If you're tall and hate fruit. Because he found out it was so fun. Fruit came up on the last day. Delaney hates fruit. And Henry found this out and he goes, were you hoping that this wouldn't come up this weekend? Just because, like, it's so embarrassing to hate.
C
I actually didn't know that she hated fruit.
B
She hates fruit.
C
But vegetables are okay.
B
Vegetables are okay. Not crazy.
C
What about fruit flavored things?
B
She likes fruit flavored things. So then he was just grilling her about that, so that was really funny. So overall, like, just obsessed with them. Like, wait, wait, but does he live.
C
Do they live here? No.
B
I thought he lived in New York this whole time. He lives in San Diego. He's just friends with all the New York people. Yeah.
C
Okay.
B
So we were both kind of like, this is so crazy, we haven't met. And he was like, well, I do live in San Diego. I was like, what? I thought you lived in New York this whole time. But I guess that makes sense. He's never at, like, events we've been at.
C
Yeah, I've never even, like, seen him. I feel like.
B
Yeah, I've never even seen him with my eyes. Yeah, so actually we did. Or no, I guess you weren't there. He told me he walked in Cynthia Rowley's Fashion Week show in the fall that I was at. I don't think he went, but he literally.
C
Clips of this.
B
Yeah. I didn't know that. Other celeb sightings. I was really excited to tell you this.
C
Yeah, no, it was very, like, Stagecoach, you know, down to earth.
B
Like, down to earth. I will say, though, Stagecoach was, like, on the rise the last few years, I feel like, because people were like Coachella. But Coachella really did their big one this year. That stage coach was very chill. Really? Yeah. Like, it was very, like, I really barely saw any of my, like, influencers that.
C
Yeah, a lot of people were, like, opting out this year.
B
Yeah. Opting option to.
C
Yeah, they're like, I'm opt out passing this year, but.
B
Yes, exactly. But. But we were walking out one of the days. And, like, I also need to say this because I realize people think I'm just, like, performative. You, like, actually need a bandana. And I know you can confirm this, like, ac. It gets so dusty. And I actually had, like. Delaney was like, I can't even lie when you said bring a bandana. I thought you were just saying that so I, like, look cool, but. No, you mean it. I was like, yeah. So she kept borrowing my bandanas all weekend. Because at the end of the night, the dust is. You're just caught. You're hacking it up. It's disgusting. Anyways, we're walking out one night, Delane and I. Or no, I don't. Whatever. I had My bandana on. We're walking, and Pepe from Love island, he's walking right next to me. And this is literally all he said. But he looked at me, he goes, that. That's what I need you. That bandana looks like it's really helping you right now. And I was like, oh, my God, it's Pepe. I go, yeah, you do. Otherwise you'll be caught. I don't even know what I said. I was so embarrassed. I was like, otherwise you'll be coughing all night. Delaney was like, what was that? I was like, I don't know.
C
So funny.
B
I was just enchanted by Pepe.
C
Is he tall?
B
So tall. And he was with a group of people I did not recognize. At first I thought he was with Hannah, little baby Han or whatever. The blonde. That's username. That's why I said.
C
But no, they.
B
They.
C
They don't like each other.
B
I thought, yeah, he was not with her.
C
Yeah.
B
I didn't know that.
C
I don't watch the after show. Not after.
B
Beyond the Villa.
C
Yeah. But I've, like, been getting served clips of. And I'm pretty sure that they, like, really don't like each other. Wow.
B
Specifically.
C
Oh.
B
Because they were the first couple, like, in the sense of.
C
Yes.
B
The first one he was matched with, I think, like, they were together at
C
a point, and then he. Yes.
B
Messes her up.
C
Yeah.
B
And then she went to Charlie, or maybe vice versa. Whatever.
C
Yeah.
B
Ashton Kutcher pointed to Delaney and he said, I love your camo. How cool was he?
C
Rogue man. He was.
B
No, he's with Mila. They were just walking with Mila, Scooter Braun and Sydney Sweeney right next to us. How wild.
C
What do you even say back to that? Like, what did.
B
I don't know what she said. She was. I think, because I don't know what she said, actually. Probably just thank you. But he just goes, love the camo.
C
Like, how cool that is. So there's. Wow, what a cool couple.
B
They're just, like, doing that. He's always that Stagecoach. He's just that really. He's just, you know. You know. Ashton, what else did I write? Oh, my God, it was so funny. So Rachel Kirkan was one of the coolest people ever, as you know.
C
Yeah. No, it's really, like, she's so kind, crazy. Like, she's so nice. She's so fun. She's so beautiful. Like, it's. She.
B
It's not fair.
C
She can cook. She can. She, like, is adventurous. Like, I. I can't think of anybody cooler really, like, it's so hard to completely agree.
B
Yeah. Like, I just. And even Delaney was like, I knew I was gonna like her, but, like, I really, really like her. I was like, I know.
C
She's just this genuine, too.
B
So genuine. She's the life of the party, genuinely. She will stay up the latest and then also be awake the next day, ready to go. So anyways, Delaney and I went to bed the first. The first night, because we're all. We were on east coast time. We were exhausted. It was like the welcome dinner. And there had been, like, talks of people going to do things. I was like, what would you guys even do? Anyways, we go to bed. We wake up the next morning. Delaney goes, look at Rachel's door. I was like, she had a sock on her door. And we're like, oh, Rachel. Like, so we're waiting for her to wake up. She wakes up like, rachel, did you have, like, a suitor over last? Because, you know, yes, of course means
C
don't come in, right?
B
Yeah, don't come in. There's someone in here with me. Whatever. And. And then I pointed it out to Andrew, and he was like, oh, my God. Like, we were all just like, I can't wait to get this.
C
Yeah.
B
She comes out. She wakes up. I go, rachel, sock on the door. She goes, oh, my God. I literally got so creative last night because I guess anytime any of us opened our door, it would, like, kind of open her door a little. Like, it did this, like, suction thing.
C
Okay, okay.
B
So she was like. So I was trying to find something to weigh down the door, and a
C
sock was the perfect.
B
She put the Jacoba sock right on top. And she was like. And it worked, but it was so funny. So every night she would do it. So every morning we'd wake up and she had a sock on her door.
C
Yeah. Wild night. She picked up something. Yeah.
B
Yeah.
C
Oh, that's so funny.
B
So that was. That was really funny.
C
No, I feel like you guys were, like, also all. From what I saw, it seemed like the group really was hanging as a group. Like, did you feel that way?
B
Very inclusive. Which was really nice because they all totally could just go in their own corner and talk about Bachelor.
C
I don't know, like, everyone, like, especially when you have a plus one. I feel like it could be very
B
segmented to you, too.
C
Like, you know, and at a festival we've discussed.
B
Oh, yeah.
C
Kind of, like, goes rogue.
B
Yeah. It is nice to have everybody. And once we got to the festival, though, I will say, like, it was Very, like, basically, me and Delaney and this is. They were all honest about, like, me and Delaney were the ones there for the country music. I see everyone else there was like, I'm excited about, like, Hooting the Blowfish, or like, they had a few. But, like, Delaney and I were like, no, no, no. Every day we have, like, four or five people we want to see.
C
Got it.
B
And it was so funny because they. Every morning, like, Henry would be like, so. So country queens, who are we excited to see today?
C
And, you know, like, educating.
B
And we would like to stay really excited about Ella Lang. Oh, yes. Ella. Like, yeah. It was just. It was so funny. Every morning they would all ask us, yeah, yeah. Who are we excited to. Of course. So that was. That was fine. It was always fun going to, like, Club Magenta, as you know, it's just, like, such a vibe there.
C
Yes.
B
What else was going to say? But overall, the festival. Oh, Saturday, we had to evacuate the festival.
C
Yeah. Because of the wind.
B
The wind was so. So we were. I was honestly the most excited about Saturday night, which sucks. It was Riley Green and then Lainey Wilson and Riley Green.
C
I feel like I know that.
B
Yeah. You know Riley Green because he came to Athens once, and Ryan and I, like, like, if we were to have a first dance song tomorrow, it would be To Georgia Time by Riley Green.
C
Did someone just see him on a plane? Am I making that up?
B
Me? Well, Margo. Oh, yeah. Yes. Yeah. Wow. She saw him. Well, we thought he was going to be on our flight. She saw him in security and me and Margot were in Delta 1, and we were like, holy shit, he's going
C
to be up here with us.
B
And we just kept waiting and waiting, and he never showed up. So I think he was on the flight after us because we got there kind of late. So I think he was just early for his flight.
C
I see.
B
I see. But she was in security with him, and so we were really excited. But. But. So Delaney and I literally got front row for Riley Green. We were so excited. We were like, let's go. He's gonna be right in front of us. The wind was really starting to make noises. Delaney was like, could a tornado happen? Like, we were both freaking out. We were having to hold onto our hats. Our hats kept blowing off. Security guards are catching our. It was crazy. And then I actually took a video of it. The lights above the stage kept moving, hitting each other, rocking, like, hundreds of lights. You know how it is. And Delaney was like, I. I am gonna be a really paranoid friend right now. Like, can we back up? Like, I'm genuinely scared that these lights are gonna fall on us.
C
Holy.
B
And I did remember that DJ Anima or whatever.
C
Yeah, Anima.
B
Yeah, Anima. Yeah, from Coachella Weekend one had to cancel because of wind. So I'm like, holy. Like, this is actually.
C
Yeah, a speaker fell at that stage too. The Do Lab. Yeah, Like, I hurt. Yeah, I know. I read that. I was like, well, thank God. I'm not there.
B
Yeah, thank God. Couldn't be there. Yeah, thank God. So then Delaney was like, can we please back up? And I was like, but she's probably right. So we did back up. And as soon as we backed up, red signs all over on the stage. On every single stage on the screen. Evacuate now. Festivals postponed. Get to near safety now.
C
Sirens going and. And everybody. Is it like a mob? Like, everyone's just running or.
B
No, like, honestly, no one was running, thank God. I was like, is this about to be the Purge? Like, it felt like the Purge. We're all just, like, freaking out.
C
Out.
B
But we all knew it was because of the wind. So it didn't feel like this violent, scary thing, which I felt really. I was like. Delaney was kind of freaking. I was like, let's just be grateful. It's because of wind, you know? Like, let's just be grateful. Holding onto our hats. I had worn clip in extensions that day. They're flying in the. Oh, my God.
C
You could just see those extensions. Yeah.
B
Delaney took a video. We'll put it in our, like, Friday dump. You just see my, like, you know the tracks.
C
Oh, that's so funny.
B
Very funny. So anyways, it was so funny though, because basically everyone else, the wind was so bad, but Delaney and I were like, no, we're staying. We're here. But everyone else. And part of our group was like, no, we're going home. So they had already started to walk to the car, so they were ahead of us. But then Delaney and I were like, okay, we have to go. There's no other option. So all of a sudden, sorry, the dust, you know.
C
Oh, it's still in there. Dusty lungs.
B
Dusty lungs.
C
Puffy and dusty lungs.
B
I'm puffy and full of dust in my lungs. All of a sudden, I'm getting so many phone calls, texts. Danielle, Danielle, are you and Delaney okay? We're very concerned. Like, do not stay. They thought we were gonna try and stay for Riley. Some people were like, hiding and shit. But we're like, no, we. They're telling us to leave follower. At the end of the day, they Were like, please, please do not stay for the concert. Like, we know. So then finally we get to the car area and they all. The whole team was like, oh, thank God. We were so worried about you guys. Because they thought we were like, that Die hard. Die hard.
C
No. Like, we're going to find this tree or something.
B
Exactly. Even Margot Austria, who, as we know, yes.
C
Country stand. Country.
B
Stagecoach, like, literally weeds us to the front. She was texting me like, are you gonna stay? I was like, no, I'm leaving. And I thought she was gonna say, no, I'm staying, because it did say postpone, but they also said evacuate. Anyways, so we get home and Stagecoach sends a notification resuming. Why'd you tell us to evacuate?
C
Because it was, like, temporary maybe. Like, it was like, they should have said that.
B
Yeah, but I think we still would have left. I mean, it was so bad.
C
And then. So you didn't go back?
B
We did not go back then. We just. Andrew brought bald caps and we pretended to be Pitbull all night. Oh, that's. And had a house party. Timo ordered like, 12 pizzas, took a ton of shots, and had fun. It was honestly, like, really fun.
C
That's so fun. I'm so excited for summer in the city. Like, it's starting to get like that. You know, we have those days where it's like 70 degrees and, like, life just feels worth living again.
B
I was skipping down the street this morning.
C
It's a gorgeous, gorgeous day. And, like, so many gorgeous days around the corner. Honestly, it makes me want to leave my house. It makes me want to, like, be on the street, like, drinking a fun little fruity cocktail.
B
No, it is seriously the best. And what's even better is that pre going out vibe, like in the summer.
C
Oh.
B
Like, I'm feeling tan, I've got my cute outfit on. And you're getting ready with your friends. You're playing Drake maybe. I don't know, whatever tickles your fancy. And you're drinking a really good drink, and that is the Malibu Pink lemonade.
C
And I love that you can drink this so many different ways. I'm more of, like a mixed drink girl, you guys know, So I. I love anything lemonade flavored. Honestly. That's like one of my favorite drinks. Fun fact about me. So I would mix it with just lemonade and make myself like an over a ton of ice.
B
A.
C
A lot. A lot of ice. I want my drink so freezing cold. Do you like your drink, like, freezing cold?
B
I do, but I'm like, one of those I get, like, sensitive, so that's what I thought.
C
See, I want brain freeze. Like, if I'm not getting brain freeze, like, it's. It's not hitting right.
B
No, no. Well, also, you know me. Like, you're putting it over ice. Like, I'm taking shots, you know, like, that's the difference.
C
But I love that you could do it both ways. I love that it's fun, it's pink, it's girly, it's cute. You guys know me. Like, I, I don't love to like the taste of alcohol, but I feel like this is, like, it's giving, like, like delicious, easy to drink summer vibes. I. It's, it's.
B
It Malibu Pink, literally. It honestly screams summer. It's got flavors of guava, pineapple, and coconut. So you can just imagine, like, you can feel that on your tongue when you're talking about it.
C
It's giving beach.
B
It's giving beach. But it's also like, I just, like, I said, like, I love just getting ready with my friends, maybe taking a little shot or pouring it over ice. And this just makes it like this all in one easy thing. It's not like you have to make this whole big cocktail. Like, it's just this easy moment.
C
No, you're so right. I'm. I. I'm not, like, getting a million Ingr and stuff. Like, this is just porto rice. If I'm getting a little fancy, maybe I'll slice some lemon in it just so that it, like, looks photogenic and I can be like, oh, this is like a delicious restaurant cocktail.
B
No, exactly. Like, literally. My friend had a birthday pregame the other day and I brought this and everyone was actually down to take a shot. Everyone's down. Like, it was. Because it's Malibu Pink. They're like, if you bring the Malibu Pink, like, I'll think about it.
C
Yeah, yeah, no, that's. And that's where we're at. I feel like there's also, like, rooftop parties and, like, things coming up.
B
Yes. Oh, my gosh. This is so rooftop coated.
C
Totally bring it. Like, I feel like if you're invited to a pregame or if you're invited to, like, a party or something, like, this is the perfect, perfect bottle to show up with. It's. It's great for a party.
B
Yeah. And I feel like, I don't know why I always just like to keep lemonade in my fridge to. For things like this. So you probably already have lemonade in your fridge. You can mix it with the Malibu Pink. It's also the cutest little bottle. It looks so good on your counter. If you care about aesthetics.
C
Or like, your bar cart. Yeah, you have a bar cart.
B
I don't have a bar cart. Do you?
C
No, I. I mean, I have, like, my, like, air fryer cart. Is, like, also a bar cart. Like, it's kind of all in one, but it looks cute on that, you know?
B
Yeah, no, for sure. It looks really good. I mean, obviously you like your pink girl palace.
C
I.
B
So I have your little hint. You have a little hint?
C
My little hint. So you can get ready with Malibu Pink. Find Malibu Pink at a retailer near you. Must be 21 or older. To purchase. Please drink responsibly. For additional information, visit Malibu.com and follow @Malibu Drinks us on IG or Malibu Rum on TikTok.
B
Must be 21 or older. To purchase, drink responsibly. Malibu Pink White Rum with tropical liqueur, 21 alcohol, volume 2025 imported Pernod Ricard, USA, New York, New York. And they invited, like, more people over to the house from the Bachelor.
C
Oh, shit.
B
I know. It was a bachelor night.
C
It was a whole. Yeah, Bachelor Mansion.
B
Literally. It was literally the Bachelor mansion. So anyways, that was really fun. I'm really sad that we didn't get to see Lainey Wilson. They just skipped Riley Green set, actually,
C
though, so he didn't even play at all.
B
Laney, class act. She did bring him on and say, like, please welcome my friend Riley Green. You know, sing a song now. So he did sing one song that I love that Delaney and I were really excited. Excited about, but not Georgia Died.
C
You didn't see it.
B
We watched it on the live stream at the house, and they're like, delaney, what are you guys doing? And we're like, we're watching.
C
Oh, that's so fun.
B
We were just the country nerds.
C
And then the last night was.
B
Last night was normal. Yeah. Resumed as normal post Malone, which is Little Wind. Yeah, he, like, didn't do a lot of his songs from his country album. It was weird. He did a lot of covers. It was good. But, like, I don't know, maybe he felt like people bed. Yeah. I don't know. But overall, really fun weekend. I am done. Are you. I'm. I'm exhausted. I'm drinking caffeine today.
C
Oh, really?
B
Yeah.
C
That's how. You know. Wow. Okay.
B
I love saying that, too. You always give me a good reaction.
C
No, because that's really, like. That's a sign. Yeah, No, I. I just am wondering how you're still going because, like, I
B
feel like, you know, tomorrow I'm crashing. Okay, tomorrow. Tomorrow will be done.
C
What does that just mean, like, tomorrow,
B
like, yeah, I'm doing nothing.
C
Catch up day.
B
Yeah. Today we've got mahjong. We've got things to do.
C
Of course, the socializing never ends. Yes.
B
But thanks for letting me tell my stagecoach story.
C
It sounds like it was a blast.
B
You know, it's really fun.
C
Fomo, but, like, not like, that's the thing. Like, I do I have more FOMO from Coachella because, like, you know, there's
B
like, yeah, obviously there.
C
Yeah, this I fomo. Because I love T Mobile. The T Mobile team is amazing. I know that they throw a hell of a trip and I know that, like, the group, I feel like I would have. I would have fit in nicely.
B
No, you were brought up all the time.
C
They probably were like, who is this girl?
B
No, they're like, like, Brooke. If Danielle says the name Brooke one more time.
C
Oh, my God. But no, that's actually how I. I say that. When I met my. My DJ friends this week, I was like, oh, you know, Danielle is like my friend Danielle.
B
Like, I kept me and you. Isn't that their name? Yeah, me and you. That's so cute. You have DJ friends.
C
Yeah, I have DJ friends. Yeah.
B
Yeah. It's no big deal.
C
Yeah.
B
So big time for the gals on the go.
C
Another phrase that came up this weekend because we were talking about, like, a lot of, like, DJ duos and just like, things like that. And I don't know how this came up, but it was like, me, Ben, and our friend Josh and the phrase creative differences kept coming up.
B
Okay.
C
And I just. That was like my fixation of the week. Creative differences. Like, if, you know, like, Ben gets stressed and I'm like, not into it. Like, oh, we have creative differences.
B
Like, or like, wait, I love that. Like, would you say it to him and be like, I think we just have creative differences this year. Oh, I really like that. I'm going to need that. Thank you.
C
Or just for anything. Like, but you could use it for things that are non creative related to. Yeah, you give an example of like, oh, I. I was thinking, you know, we should get some fast food. Like, oh, I was thinking, you know, we just go home. Like, okay, we've created creative differences.
B
I love that. Honestly, you and I could even do that for each other. When it's like, you don't want to be a bitch. But it's like, I think we just have creative differences on that.
C
Yes. It came up because we were talking about not my DJ friends, but, like, other. Just DJ duos and, like, how like. Like, some people have. I don't want to say drama, but, like, it's, like, it's hard to work, create, like, truly creatively with another, like, musician. Like, if you think about, like, a band or something, like, sometimes there's a fall and, like, one person leaves or something. Right. Like, creative differences.
B
Yeah.
C
Yeah. And I feel like there's been some things, like, some shows that I've seen that I'm just like, do you think this was his idea? Or, like, you know, you could tell that one person's more into it than the other. Creative differences.
B
No, that is true. I mean, there's definitely one person that gets to have a little more influence over the other because it's hard to find a perfect balance of, like, your styles. So that makes sense.
C
I feel like that would be really hard, like, because music alone, like, oh. And then I was saying that I'm having creative differences with myself. Because I am. No, because, like, when I think about, like, my. My aesthetic or my style, like, you know, sometimes those decisions are hard to make. I feel like I'm decisive in the sense of, like, I can choose. I. Like, maybe, like, with business decisions and stuff, I may be decisive, but when it comes to, like, pick the short color, I don't know why. I'm just like. Like, I am having creative differences with myself.
B
Yeah.
C
I don't know what I want my aesthetics to be, you know?
B
No, I definitely. I definitely relate to that. I. That's how I feel about. I'm having creative differences with myself about our apartment. I'm like, there's something wrong with it. I need to fix it, but I don't know what it is.
C
I. I get that, too. I've had. Yeah. That's another thing. In your, you know, late 20s, when you're like, I want to overhaul my life, like, apartment, what should I do? Yeah, change something up.
B
Might change something up. But also, why would I do that? But also, what would I do?
C
It's also so much work. Like, it's. It's a job to, like, a wall thing or pain.
B
Yeah, whatever.
C
Like, I.
B
No. And not that I'm going to move, obviously, but. Do you follow Rachel Solomon? Did you see her new apartment?
C
Yeah.
B
I was like, shit, that makes me want to move. Obviously not going to. She lives in Brooklyn. I know. Yeah, I know. She does live in Brooklyn. She's so excited about it. I asked her. Of course I'm Nosy. I immediately go, where is this?
C
Oh, I want to know exactly where it is. If you know the coordinates.
B
I don't think she said, but I can find out. I'll ask know me.
C
Yeah.
B
Margo, the other day, she. Something was, like. There was, like, a drama thing happened, and not with us, but, like, celebrities or whatever. And she texted someone to ask them, and she was like, I feel like you. I just asked them what was going on. Really? I was like, yeah, just do it. Why not?
C
First text, like, no. No niceties. Just, like, what's going on with it? Wow.
B
She's like, I felt like you.
C
That's. That was really funny. Sometimes I never know if I should approach it in a way of, like, hi, how are you? By the way.
B
Like, she had seen this person recently, so she was, like, kind of following up. But yeah, I'm pretty sure she just ripp the text.
C
Oh, my God.
B
Crazy.
C
That is so crazy. I know.
B
There's so much drama and, like, pop culture right now.
C
So much. A lot to keep up with the summer house stuff. I'm obsessed with stalking the leaks. Like, the. Like, I keep, like, seeing.
B
Like, apparently there's a third one. Did you hear it?
C
I listened to them all. I saw. Yeah.
B
Oh, I only heard 1.
C
I saw part 2 and 3. 2. Like, I'm locked in. I.
B
Are they as good as the first league?
C
Yeah, they're so good. Like, it's. And for me, I'm like, I. I know that it's bad and, like, production, like, it shouldn't have been leaked. And, like, yes, someone needed to get in trouble, whatever. But, like. Like, I think it's only gonna make the viewership go up.
B
I mean, for sure. People are actually. I mean, they posted everyone getting ready for the reunion.
C
It's like, extra promotion.
B
Yeah.
C
I'm like, wow. If the fight. If this is just a snippet of it, imagine. Right.
B
It really does need to be very long. Don't they film it for a long time?
C
They usually do. Like, on some of these, they'll do, like, part one, two, maybe even a three if it's, like, really that crazy?
B
Yeah, even a three. Oh, bravo.
C
Yeah. Can you imagine? That is, like, actually, like, nightmare Fuel is, like, sitting down, like, in a thing like that. When you know that you're the hated one. One, like, walking into the room, like, when you know that everybody hates you and you need to fight for yourself like you have. You better be articulate with your words, because I feel like I would fumble that so bad.
B
I would fumble it so bad. You wouldn't, you wouldn't. You're good at that.
C
I would have, like, some things prepared.
B
Yeah, you would. You would have, like, your little talking points.
C
I would be better not being the one that everybody hates being like, on the, you know.
B
Of course.
C
Yeah, of course. I was talking with my DJ friends because they, like, got on the mic and they, like, were so clear. They were like, our new single comes out like May 18th. Save it now and stream whatever we're gonna play for you tonight. Enjoy. And they were so, like, concise and
B
like, oh, no filler words.
C
And I applauded them so much after. I was like, that was amazing. And one of them was like, I actually, like, get so nervous doing it because I'll be like, put your hands up. Like, yeah, that's so something I would do. Put your hands up because you get on that mic and it's like, you better say something valuable because you're interrupting like the music flow and everything while you're saying conf and deliver your message. No, like, or.
B
That's so true. I didn't think about that. I saw a TikTok of someone trying to use no filler words for 60 seconds. Should we try it? Oh, my God.
C
Yep.
B
Hello, Brooke. My name is Danielle. I am sitting here in the podcast studio with you. You are so beautiful. You just ran a half marathon. I cannot wait to never run, actually.
C
You don't think you would ever. I just said, oh, oh, my gosh. It's so hard. I can't do it.
B
It's very difficult.
C
How many hours did you sleep? Circling back.
B
I know I, I know I could.
C
Well, how many hours did you sleep on the trip? Like, were you saying, no, no, no,
B
I, I, I don't stay. You know me. No, no, I, I definitely said, well, I, I definitely never got on west coast time, so I would just wake up at 6am the next day.
C
Same.
B
But I don't think we 1 or 2am yeah. So, you know, that's good. Yeah, yeah.
C
Oh, and we can, can we conclude on Bridget's bachelorette setting the standard for.
B
Did you. I was receiving texts from friends this weekend, like, so you're getting a private jet for your bachelorette.
C
Oh, no, I didn't get that.
B
So luckily I'm in the difference in our brands.
C
I'm in the clear. They know, you know, it will be nice. It'll be a good time. It's not going to be a private
B
jet, but I am a little spooked by private jets, honestly. So I Don't know that I.
C
That was a big one, though.
B
That was like a plane. Yeah.
C
No, that was a plan.
B
Yeah. Yeah, that was a big plane. Yeah. Or jets. Big. I don't know.
C
Whatever it was. That was.
B
To me, it was a Delta airplane. Like, it was. It was.
C
No, that was like. Yes. When I saw.
B
I would like that.
C
Yeah, that was. That was really nice.
B
That was really cool. But no, we're gonna all fly Delta.
C
Yeah.
B
Like, no. Yeah, but it did. It did definitely get me thinking. Like, maybe you can get things more sponsored than you think. And that's just to be able to provide the best experience for your friends. Like, guest experience. The best. The best guest experience. We're hospitable here at Gal.
C
I don't know.
B
I think Bridget did a really great job with it. I'm very influenced by the Swan Beauty Mirror now. I think it's very cool now.
C
Been going since you've been to Saint Barts. Would you recommend it as a bachelorette? Oh, you said you were maybe exploring it for yourself. Yeah.
B
And I. I'm excited to hear, you know, more about. Maybe we could get Bridget and Danielle on the podcast and talk about the bachelorette debrief.
C
Oh, that would be a good exclusive.
B
That would be a good exclusive. We should, like, get on that and talk to them.
C
Yeah, I think that.
B
Well, just because we have, like, lots of questions that I bet the people want to know.
C
Yeah.
B
And they don't have a podcast.
C
No. And I saw all of the discourse. I. I was in the comments. Oh, I was defending them in the comments. Yeah. Cause I saw some people, like, it's not even. Who's even influenced. I'm like, honestly, everybody.
B
Everybody's influenced. Influence.
C
Are you kidding me? I was like, this is one of the most effective marketing campaigns I've seen in a long time.
B
Like, no. And now looking back, Bridget was posting this mirror a lot. Totally in her morning routines.
C
And not to mention, like, at first, I was like. When I heard it, I was like, it's kind of gimmicky. And then. Then I. They showed it.
B
Yeah.
C
In demonstration. I was like, this is genius. It shows you where to put your eyeshadow.
B
No, it's so cool.
C
Like, it makes. It makes complete sense. They have it in an app form if you don't want the mirror. Not that we're doing free advertising for them. I have never. I'm. They haven't sent me anything.
B
Yeah.
C
You know, I just am like, I think that that's effective marketing, and I think that that's where the world is going. Like, definitely. You know, they could have spent all of that money on, let's just say, like, billboards and maybe even a traditional commercial. But instead they allocate hated, I think, you know, family money. And they. Yeah, they loaned the. The family jet for us. But, hey, no, great.
B
No. I loved Claudia's TikTok. She was like, you're just jealous. That's what it is. I'm jealous. We're all jealous.
C
Yeah.
B
And you can either decide to be green with envy or jealous. But, like, that's so cool for them. And I'm choosing to be like, that's so cool for them.
C
So cool.
B
I was so locked in on the
C
content and that's the thing. Like, weren't you fed with the con? I mean, they were like. They were getting like, every, like, two hours, I feel like there was, like, new posts, so I was like, okay, there's, like, a lot to keep up with, you know.
B
No, I. I really do have lots of questions on, like, yeah, the posting schedule. Did she say, like, wait till I put, you know, like, I have questions.
C
Yes. No, I. I do too.
B
Yeah.
C
The outfits were amazing. I mean, everybody, like, everyone looked amazing. Yes. The room drop with the fifi, like, for their friends. I was just like, wow.
B
And the goodie bags that she got truly are products that she loves. Like, every single one. There wasn't like a filler. It was all things that she has always posted about. Like, she got road. That's sick.
C
Yeah. That's so cool.
B
That's really cool. It did. It did set a tone, I'm not gonna lie. Yeah, it set a tone and it inspired me. I saved a ton of hers from my bachelorette folder on Instagram.
C
Oh, wow. I. I don't know.
B
You should do that. Anytime you see something that someone does, like, just save it. So, you know, later when you do yours, one day you're like, oh, I remember liking that.
C
Oh, my gosh. I did.
B
I do that for weddings. I'm not even engaged.
C
I just. Yeah, weddings. I feel like I see more, like, content around, I guess. Bachelorettes, I like. I. I haven't seen to this scale that I'm like, oh, I want, like, necessarily.
B
Yeah. Oh. It also meant we can end on this. It also made me think about, like, you know how she named it? Acquired a husband. Oh. I was like, what would. And I actually thought of this myself, and it actually wouldn't be this. I'm so sorry, Ryan. So we all know Ryan. I. Ryan's last name is Hicks. I don't. Yeah. Anyways, I don't think I'd be taking his last name. So we're clear. Like, I just. I feel like I just have my own name.
C
I don't know.
B
That's like a whole other conversation. But I was, like, getting hixed because, like, getting hitched.
C
I love it. I love it.
B
That would be fun.
C
She got Hicksed. Yeah.
B
And then I was thinking for you, like, she won the prize, like, something.
C
There.
B
There's. There's things.
C
There's.
B
That's workable because we don't have. Like, you know, acquired is so good.
C
No, that's good. Yeah.
B
It just makes you think. I know.
C
And acquired, like, yeah, she has a whole thing.
B
A whole thing. But I had so much fun catching up with you today. Me, too. And I'm so proud of you once again. I seriously can't get over it.
C
I'm, like, now I'm not working out, like, all week. Like, I'm.
B
Oh, yeah, you get a pass.
C
I'm off.
B
Yeah, Brooke is off. No more production delays. We love you guys so much. And we'll get to talk to you again next week, as always.
C
Love you guys. Bye.

This episode is the quintessential “Gals on the Go” catch-up: best friends Danielle and Brooke recap their most recent adventures—Brooke’s first half marathon and Danielle’s trip to Stagecoach festival. The conversation weaves through tales of nerves, bodily functions, festival dust, celebrity sightings, beauty rituals, FOMO, and reflections on adulthood, all in their signature humor, candor, and girl-talk spirit.

“If I could do it, anyone can do it. There was like an 88-year-old woman who ran faster than me…” (Brooke, 19:32)
“Run like West is following you,” “Run like Amanda Batula’s behind you.” (Brooke, 20:16)
[31:46–47:48]

“At the end of the night, the dust is... you’re hacking it up. It’s disgusting.” (Danielle, 38:00)
“We were the country nerds.” (Danielle, 50:54)
[53:15–64:00]
“I was saying I’m having creative differences with myself. When I think about my aesthetic or my style… sometimes those decisions are hard to make.” (Brooke, 54:33)
“This is one of the most effective marketing campaigns I’ve seen in a long time.” (Brooke, 60:41)
“You should do that. Anytime you see something that someone does, just save it…” (Brooke, 62:33)
“Hello, Brooke. My name is Danielle. I am sitting here in the podcast studio with you. You are so beautiful. You just ran a half marathon. I cannot wait to never run, actually—oh my gosh, it’s so hard, I can’t do it.” (Danielle, 58:10)
