A
Foreign. Hey guys, what's up? Welcome back to Gals on the Go podcast.
B
It's Brooke and Danielle. Hope you're all having a lovely day.
A
Lovely, lovely Wednesday.
B
A lovely Wednesday. We're so excited to chat with you. We have so much to. To debrief on, if you will. The Gals tour. I mean, the who is she Tour is truly begun.
A
Like, we're, we're in full swing. And Miami and Atlanta were just literally amazing.
B
I mean, we're on a high.
A
I. I feel like all I could say are good things about them. And I. I can't shut up about them.
B
No, I know. It was. So we started in Miami and I, like, took the first flight out of New York City on Wednesday morning. I was like, the show's on Thursday. Brooke was like, you go ahead. Like, I. I knew I wanted the sun. And then of course, like, the few days were there, it's like cold and rainy in Miami.
A
They were like, we don't experience a winter in Miami, but if we were to, it would be now. Yeah, this week.
B
These few days, like, oh, good. Really glad that we could bring the New York City cold. But if anything, it was still warmer because New York when we were There was like 12 degrees.
A
Yeah. Yeah. We've been having some rough, rough days here.
B
Cold days, but, you know, it was still lovely. We stayed at the 1 Hotel, South beach, which is just our favorite place ever. My family came, which was really sweet.
A
The best.
B
And the crowd there was so fun. Like, we just had a great time.
A
So great. I. When you guys come with like, the energy that is just like, we're down to clown. Like down to have a good time. Like, it honestly helps us so much. I feel like, just be silly and goofy and like, more open. Like, you know, it just creates an environment where we're just like, whatever. Like, let's just have fun.
B
You're so right. I was gonna say the same thing. Like, I think we love Miami so much and Atlanta because people would like, reassure it. You know, we say like, yes, same, or like, you know, I guess, cuz like a lot of people are told like, not to talk during the show, but like, don't talk to your friends or talk to us.
A
Yes. Purposeful, speaking, engaging. Yeah, I feel like it's like when it gets like disorderly and just like screaming for no purpose. Like, then it's like, okay, but like, no, like, give us like, talk to us and be like, yeah, me too. Yeah.
B
Oh my gosh. It's so reassuring. And it was just so Fun. We had fun with, like, our outfits, and then we went to Atlanta and we got to see some of our friends there and met so many of you guys. Like, that was such a great big old show. Like, last time we were in Atlanta, we did two nights at, like, a smaller venue. So this time it was like a bigger venue. And it was just like, it was. We just had a feeling it was gonna be rowdy and fun and, like, it was.
A
It really was, I would say, one of, dare I say, one of our best crowds, like, so far, like, every show we've ever done. Miami were great too, but Atlanta, like, it was just. Everybody was so excited to be there. Genuinely, like, excited. I could just like, look into the crowd, just see people's like, I know. Smiles, which made me so happy, you.
B
Know, it was so cool, like, and it was just so special having a ton of our friends there. Ryan's mom was there, so I was so nervous.
A
I got to meet Ryan's fam, which was really special.
B
I know Ryan's like, why are you guys so excited for Brooke to meet my family? I was like, because, like, I also want to meet Ben's family. I think it's just, like, so, like, it's not a situation we're put in a lot where we get to meet our best friends, boyfriend's family.
A
Yeah.
B
And it's just fun to get to do that.
A
It just, like, makes things make sense.
B
Yeah.
A
Like, it completes, like, the understanding you get to know someone on a deeper level.
B
Definitely. Like, it's. It's so important. So that was really fun.
A
I want to hear about you going out because I was lame and like, well, I was like, that's my 27 year old. Age is showing. Because I, like, saw my friends from college. Like, they came and I was like, all right, what. What are you guys up to? And everyone's like, oh, there's something else. Or I thought we were all going to do. We're all going home. I was like, me too.
B
Yeah.
A
I was also under this understanding, so.
B
I had lots of people asking about you.
A
Oh, that's okay.
B
And I was like, her friends, they, like, hung out before. And, like, we did. We had an earlier. You had an earlier flight than me.
A
I don't even know how I would have, like, done it all, because I got back in that room was literally looked like a hurricane headed. Because it was like, you know, us getting ready and, like, so crazy. And we just leave and we're like, oh, we'll deal with it later. And then it's like, you know, you're up late and at the show and whatever. So I had to go back, pack my things to, you know, depart the hotel by like 8:00am and like, I'm sorry, I just can't do five hours of sleep. Like, I need more than that, you know, Like, I need bare, bare, bare bones. Like six and a half.
B
Bare, bare, bare bones. 100 agree. Yeah. I, like, purposely did a later flight because I was like. I knew I wanted to hit the town. I knew that I was like, breaking dry January. Like, I didn't care.
A
Dry January.
B
No, it's so, like, who cares? I mean, like, I already had kind of broken it like, a couple weekends before for, like, a drink, but whatever. Oh, my God, it was so fun. Like, I. I don't know if you noticed, but, like, during one of the segments, we're like, in the crowd talking to people. I like, said a few bar names and one of the ones was the one I was going. I did notice that, and I think some people caught on. I did that on purpose because I was like. Because I didn't know for sure where I was going, but I was like, it might be one of these places. And so many people came. We went to this place called Painted Park. I think it's fairly new in. In New York, in Atlanta. So fun. Like, huge. Everyone's in a good mood, whatever. And then from there, like, after an hour or so, or maybe two hours, we went to Dark Horse Tavern. I've been there once before. And, like, my friends were like, we do not go here anymore, but we will go there for you. Because it's just like a dance place. Like, you're just dancing. And we were all just dancing, having the best time. It was just. It was a really good time. And then I came home and I don't know why I have all these selfies on my phone of me drunkenly walking through our hotel lobby with my room key in my hand. I'm like, look at me with my room key. I've no. We'll put them in the newsletter.
A
I don't know. What time was this?
B
R. When was maybe 1:30 or 2. Not crazy late. I have no idea. And then I came in and I. Did you hear me?
A
I don't think so.
B
Yes. I was trying so hard to be careful and quiet. And I had Chipotle earlier from that day. So disgusting. And I ate it on the bathroom floor with the door closed and watched Tick Tocks.
A
I didn't hear that.
B
So.
A
Wow. I know. I don't I mean, when you're that tired, like, I feel like you're just. I was like, wow, I'm.
B
Yeah, I'm sure you popped a melatonin.
A
Of course. I feel like it's like you. You're, like, stimulated, but also, like, just so exhausted. Like, I feel like I'm like, oh, my gosh. I don't want to talk to any. The day after the few shows, I'm like, me. It's so crazy. I'm like, I can't talk to anybody. Like, I need to lock myself in my room, have a verbal time. Yeah.
B
I wrote this down because my friend told me. I thought it was so funny. There was a lot of our friends, like, moms that came, which I thought was so sweeter. People brought their mom. We love that. We love that so much. And my friend was telling me that her mom was in line because we have a really fun drink menu at every show, and one of our drinks is obviously called the don't Text, and it's spelled D N T T X T. And my friend's mom was ordering, and she goes, I'll have the DNT text, please.
A
Oh, my gosh. That is so cute. Stop.
B
I know. And apparently the girls around her were like, it's actually don't Text. She was like, oh, my God, I'm so embarrassed.
A
Oh, my gosh. They're, like, filling her in on the lore. I know.
B
It was so cute. I would also die to be in the bathroom at the gals on the go shows. Like, what are the girls bathrooms like during the show?
A
You don't know? I feel like before the show, experience it. I would love to. I. We say we want to experience the crowd one day. Maybe we should just. It's fun. I feel like whenever we go into. We go into the crowd, like, in certain sections of the show, and I feel like everybody's just, like, staring at us, like, because they're like, oh, my God. They're actually, like, here in the crowd. I know how I am when, like, I'm at a show and, like, you know the parts.
B
Like, it's like, they're, like, right next to. Yeah. During a Broadway show, when they, like, come out of the hallway, like, oh.
A
My God, they're right next to me. Or like, when it's comedy and they, like, walk through the crowd to, like, go up and you're like, oh, my God, they just walked past me.
B
Yes.
A
So I feel like I've. I'm familiar with it, but I'm, like, looking at everyone I'm like, hello. Hello.
B
Same. I'm like, hi, guys. Thanks for being here.
A
Yeah. Just trying to be normal.
B
Should we tell them about what I. What we tried in Philly?
A
What we tried, or.
B
Because of this reason? Brooke and I have always joked about, like, wearing a wig before the show.
A
Yeah.
B
Like, sitting in the audience just because we want to be in the audience before the show. We think that would be so fun. But, like, obviously we never did it. And then we were like.
A
Well, we were like, let's do a bit like. Like a skit. Because we're theater gals. Like, maybe we should, like, open the show with a skit. I just don't know if it was. I don't think it was, like, the venue to try it.
B
It was not the venue because it was at.
A
It was our first show of this tour. So that's always like, you know, we're trying new material, seeing what sticks. But it's kind of nice because you guys get, like, the raw show also, too.
B
Really?
A
Yeah. If anything, you get a little too much information.
B
Yeah.
A
But we were like, let's. Let's crowd. So we put on jackets over our dresses, trench coats, literally. But that's it. Like, we just. And sunglasses and some trench coat sunglasses. And we're like, let's be on opposite sides of the crowd with our mics and, like, do a skit and then, like, reveal ourselves.
B
Yeah.
A
Problem is this is a city winery, which is essentially like a diner. I mean, it's like more.
B
It's not a diner, but, yes, like a restaurant.
A
It's like a restaurant.
B
You're saying diner because we've done shows and diners before. And that's another story. They were like, diner comedy clubs.
A
It's a restaurant. It's a restaurant. So it's not necessarily like, we could just sneak in to seats in, like, the theater. It's like the doors open, and it's like the doors opening to, like, a restaurant or something. That's the best way that I can describe, like, you. Everyone saw us walk in.
B
Yeah.
A
So one set of doors.
B
But we were just like. I. I really. I was like. I pushed. Broke. I was like, can we please try? And broke. You're so nice. Because I. I don't think it was, like, crazy bad. I mean, we can ask some of you that came to Philly, but it definitely was just hard to execute in a loungy venue rather than a theater. Like, we couldn't just sit next to someone in the. Like, what we wanted to do is be sitting next to someone in the theater. And Brooke and I had, like, a bit. We talk to each other from across the theater and then run on stage. But it was just hard to do that.
A
No, I have a vision of, like, doing it right with, like, two spotlights on us, and it's like, a whole thing, like, and that would make sense, but in this case, I feel like if you're just like, what the Is going on, like, especially if you don't, like, really know us. You.
B
Yeah, it's like, you're like the boyfriend that came along. Yeah.
A
You're like, what show is this? It's like, it set an interesting tone, for sure.
B
It definitely did. But I'm really proud of us for trying it in the pilot. And thank you all to the people that were in Philly that tried it. So we have nixed it since then.
A
That's been cut from the show.
B
Been cut.
A
That number's been cut.
B
The number has been cut. But you never know. Maybe one day we're doing huge venues. We can always know that we'll have spotlights. And it's a.
A
It's a trick in our back pocket.
B
Yeah. Now we've exposed it, I guess. Sorry, but I just thought it'd be funny to bring up.
A
Yeah. Probably not again on this tour, but you have to try new material to see if it hits, so. Yeah, that's what they say. So everyone's been telling me, and I'm sure they're telling you too. Like, oh, you could be a comedian. Like, you could be a comedian.
B
Like, you know, I don't get told that. But you do. You.
A
Yes, I'm sure that you do, too.
B
I don't brand myself as a comedian. I'm like, people tell me that I bounce off you. Well, and I'm okay with that. That's what, like, you really riff off Brooke really well. And I agree. Like, I'm not a joke starter.
A
Oh, my gosh. Okay. Well, I wouldn't necessarily say that I am either, but I have been too gassed by those comments recently. Shoddy and I met someone two days ago. Her name's Danielle, and she's a real, real comedian. And you would have thought that I have never. I mean, I haven't really, like, spoken to a comedian, I guess, in my life. Like, I know a few, but I haven't, like, gone deep. I was asking her every question under the like. I was like, tell me about your set. Tell me about, like, what you do. And basically, I've just learned that you have to grind if you want to be a real comedian, like, you have to go and do stand up. You have to do like eight shows a week. And to be honest, I don't have that dog in me. I just don't. Like, at this point in my life, like, I. I cannot promise that in.
B
The sense of like, being at different lounges.
A
Like, yeah, like, you're going to the club. Like, you know, it's like Saturday night later you're doing, you know, four show.
B
Yeah. Is it something that you'd be interested in?
A
No, no, that's not. No, that's not. Like, that is not. Yeah, like, the idea of being on stage and like, telling jokes, for sure. But like, I don't have the. I don't think I have the grit to like, want to get to that level because.
B
But I don't think necessarily, like, you're in a really awesome, privileged situation where you already have a platform.
A
Yeah, well, grateful, of course. But I think you still have to, no matter what. Like, I think you still need to because you can't practice with like, your friends. Right. I mean, we practice, I guess, live show. But I'm not doing stand up. Like, I don't have a set, I don't have mater.
B
Feel free to put it riff.
A
But I. Monologue section.
B
I feel like everything you say is kind of like, funny and like, oh, my gosh. So. So I feel like you are already practicing.
A
It's like, well, you know how comedy works. Like, you have to like, you know, really write a whole thing and get it down. And it's like, oh, do you like, I. She was like, I got a good 40, like, you know, like 40 minutes. It's like, that's a lot. That's a lot of pure, just solo material to get out. And I was like, you do some crowd work too? She's like, no, like, not really. Like, maybe to get from one bit to another.
B
Yeah.
A
But like, you can't rely on that. And I was like, our whole show was a crowd work.
B
Yeah. It's literally like relying constantly on talking to people.
A
But that's what makes it so fun and different.
B
We also do that because we want the shows to be something where it's like, you come. Because we can all like.
A
And every show's different and it's interactive. Yes.
B
Like, that's why we do it. But totally need to include the audience. But we want to.
A
Of course. But that's what makes I feel like our show different than. That's why when I explain our show to people, I'm like, it's comedy, but it's not. It's a podcast, but it's not.
B
I mean, we're laughing the whole time.
A
Yeah, you're right.
B
Like, I have so many memories of Atlanta. Like, Atlanta. I won't release this person, what they said. But, like, this one girl submitted something so funny, I fell to the ground. There's always something like that during tour.
A
And she was willing to share her. She was identifying herself, which we love.
B
Raised her hand and everything.
A
That was me. That was.
B
God, we were howling.
A
Yeah, she was iconic.
B
The whole venue is, like, so great.
A
So great. So that was my. My bid on Stand up, but I support it. You know, I am inspired. I don't know. I'm having, like, one of those moments in my life where I'm like, I could do interviews, and then I'm like, I could be a comedian, and then.
B
I could do all.
A
I could have a book club. Like, I literally am feeling so fudgeing random this week. Like, I. I'm actually having the most random fucking week.
B
Like, okay, maybe this is my thing. Well, the thing is, Brooke, it's so funny because you're already doing, like, all three of those things in a way. Like, in your vlogs, on your social media. You're posting about the book. You're talking about the book. Interviewing. We have a podcast. Not that we have people on all the time, but, like, you're great at that also. Oh, comedian. We're doing live shows. Like, we are, in a way, doing all three of those things. You are?
A
Yeah. No. Well, so are you. I mean, I don't do the book club. Not the book club. Yeah, but you're doing the other stuff. I feel like, in a way.
B
Yeah, yeah. Like, it's just like, finding your version and, like, deciding, like, how you want. Like, I've had so many conversations with my manager about, like, I want to get more into fashion. And then, like, she's like, okay, do you want to shoot? Like, pull from all these places and shoot a ton of looks every week? And I was like, no, that doesn't really feel organic to me. She's like, exactly. So you do your version of whatever fashion means, or, like, oh, I love. I am uncovered. Like, okay, like, what's your version of hosting? Like, stuff like that. Like, I feel like you're doing your version of it and you could lean into one. Not us having a business meeting right now.
A
No, literally, like, Strategy. This is Q1, what our goals are.
B
I feel like you could lean into some reality TV something. Because you watch a lot of it and you're such a good interviewer and.
A
I just feel so like random right now. But like also you have to try things to see what you like. That's, I would say like a lot of it. You can't just like even you say I want to do fashion, it's like, okay, like you dabble and like you see like what you like of it, right?
B
Yeah, yeah, exactly.
A
I feel like that's where I'm at right now. I'm like, I can't say that I want to be a stand up comedian.
B
Like, like you're just enjoying what you're doing.
A
Yeah, like I need to just try.
B
Things and keep funny on the pod.
A
Lol. My clips, like, what's your bet, you know? Yeah. Oh, my best bit. My. It's a whole thing.
B
Get us a 40 minute show and.
A
Yeah, I've gotta. I've got a clean five.
B
Yeah. No, it is crazy though. It's like come in a comedy seller. I feel like they're all up there for like 20, sometimes 30 minutes depending on the person. Right. Yeah.
A
I think you, you. Well, I think you have like a ver different versions of your set. Like you could do like the 15, right? Yeah, you could do 30 or you could do like the full. Yeah. Taylor's version 10.
B
That's so true.
A
Yeah. Because they have to have different lengths. Yeah. Because isn't it kind of like the placement in the show too? Like towards the end they're longer.
B
That's what I think. So I think like you're like the coolest if you're at the end or you maybe you just have something ready so you're at the end.
A

B
You also went to a movie premiere.
A
I did.
B
You also could just be a red carpet.
A
No, I'm like just a famous person period.
B
Yeah, that's famous. And you're just doing it all.
A
I just know I've had quite the week. I've had a week of. Who is she? Many personalities.
B
It's so grand. And we're also. Once this episode's up, we would have already gone, but we are literally about to hop on a plane to lax. No, not lax. Cabo San Lucas.
A
We are going to Cabo. We are tropical girls, no.
B
Yeah. Yeah. So excited. We'll do, like, a whole debrief when we're back. But we didn't go last year, which was such a mess. We just, like, couldn't get it together. But we've gone the last two years to the same hotel, so obviously we were, like, dabbling in the idea of going somewhere else. And then we were like, like, it's one homes. Like, it's one home.
A
Yeah.
B
Yeah. So it's like, one hotel in Cabo is actually being built. I think it'll be done next year, so maybe we could go next year. But these are, like, the homes that people buy, and we're, like, staying. It's. But it's a hotel. You can, like, order group service and stuff. And there's, like, a pool. But we love it. We love it regardless.
A
It's a luxurious experience, I have to say. Really, really, really.
B
Yeah. It's gonna be us, Margot and Katie. Katie Bellotti, you guys know, from last week. Yeah. Kenzie, of course, was invited. She couldn't make it, but. But we'll be thinking of her and facetiming her in or something.
A
I know. Yes. I went to a movie premiere. You guys need to all go watch this movie. I'm not being sponsored. A lot of it's so funny. Like, whenever I go to. I'm sure you, too. Like, you go to things like this, and, like, you know, you talk to everybody, and they're like, oh, yeah, I'm contracted. Got a few deliverables. Like, whatever. Getting paid to be there. I'm like, I. I'm not, but I'm just so thankful to be here. That happens all the time.
B
No, it's so true. Like, we'll run into influencer friends. They're like, oh, like, what are your deliverables? I'm like, oh, no. I just. Literally, I'm so happy to be.
A
Yeah, I'm, like, literally so excited to be here. Like, I'm actually spending money to be here.
B
Like, yeah. Or they'll be like, I'm not even gonna go in and watch the movie. I'm just gonna.
A
I know.
B
Like, if you're getting paid, I know.
A
Well, I have to tell you. So it's Will Ferrell and Reese Witherspoon. I had no idea. Honestly, I. I just didn't even know that this movie was coming out. I feel like I'm, like, out of the loop of, like, mainstream. Like, like, like, where do you hear about when, like, movies coming out?
B
I saw this trailer somewhere. Tick tock.
A
Yeah, I'm offline and I have to say I've been happier this past week. So maybe that has to do with it. I don't know.
B
Maybe. But there's something right before.
A
So much time for new hobbies now.
B
So true. You're not scrolling.
A
An interviewer.
B
Yes.
A
Red carpet attendee. A book club maker, curator.
B
Say Goodbye to Mediocre 2025. Hello thriving 2025.
A
It's called. You're cordially invited. And it's like, it's so us. It's like, I don't want to call Bride wars because that's not. Like, the brides are not. Oh. But in competition.
B
But it's energy.
A
Two weddings, same day. Will Ferrell is the dad of one of the brides, and Reese Witherspoon's the sister of the other bride.
B
Oh, that's so fun. I. I have to go watch. It's on Amazon.
A
It's not like, supposed to be, like, a love movie. Like, it's really. It's more so like the. And then, like, they're. They get along. They don't get along. It's. And it's.
B
My mom just texted me. She must be listening to the podcast. She goes, oh, Ben, are you going to go see your parents like that?
A
I'm sorry to interrupt. No, and it's the funniest thing because my mom texted me out of the blue two days ago after I posted the picture from the movie premiere, which you can go see on my Instagram. I. The second picture is us. She text me and she goes, omg, dad, Ben's beard looks so all caps. And she was being dead serious. And I was like, what's. If you don't mind me asking. I called her. I was like, what's the difference between this and the last time? She said, it's way. Like, the grooming is tighter. Like, it looks better. I was like. Then I asked Ben. He was like, I was growing it out still. Like, yeah, growing, because, you know, there's a little awkward period there.
B
Wait, did he not have a beard before?
A
He did. But, like, you know, when you're growing your beard like the. Like. Yeah, it kind of just looks like scruff at first, and then it grows.
B
But, like, he's never. So he's never had what he has now?
A
No, he has, but I guess there's phases. Maybe it's been a while maybe since it's been to this level of. It's just funny because I was like, mom, you make no sense. And she was like. Like, no, I.
B
She likes me.
A
Strategy here. Yeah, that's really funny.
B
You're cordially invited.
A
Cordially. Go watch it. Amazon Prime. I was. I. Not that I went with all expectations, but I went with no expectations. I was genuinely laughing out loud so much. There's Reese's family I once built, but they're like a Southern family. It is so accurate. Like, if you have. I know you have friends that are, like, from L Dam Energy. It's so the.
B
Might have to watch this tonight.
A
You should. It's like a good feel. Good, good.
B
Oh, my God.
A
Yeah. You'll like it.
B
Thank you.
A
Honestly, that could be my favorite of the week. It's, like, not. But.
B
Yeah, that would be.
A
Yeah. And tell me what you've been up to. I feel like you've been getting your together in between trips.
B
Yeah. Nothing really. I, like, did not do anything this week. Like, really in the sense of, like, I didn't put on makeup, you know, like, I was packing and.
A
But I think you're on top of your. Though as a result.
B
I feel on top of my right now. And it feels really good because it's about to be literally such a crazy two weeks because we. As you guys listen to this, like, Brooke and I are doing some fun things for, like, Galentine's day things. It's Fashion Week. I'm going to the super bowl or super bowl weekend. I'm not going to Super Bowl.
A
No. That's so sick. But I'm so excited, so.
B
And then we have Boston. The Boston show.
A
Yes. And then we have the Midwest.
B
Then we have the Midwest.
A
February is about to fly.
B
Fly. And it's like, the shortest month.
A
It is a short month. So did you decide your super bowl plan? So you're not going to the actual. The bowl itself, or are you going to the.
B
Well, my flight. The brand booked my flights, and they booked my flight to leave on Monday, but I don't have tickets to the game on Sunday. So I'm, like, either gonna maybe move my flight to Sunday or, like, the tickets are just, like, so expensive.
A
Yeah. Yeah.
B
And I really wanted to bring my brother, but then, like, He. It's like, a ton of, like, girly things.
A
A girl trip. Like, Brandon girl trip.
B
So actually, Delaney's coming, which will be so fun.
A
So fun.
B
So excited. And I don't know, we're just gonna. I'm, like, so excited. I've always wanted to be there for super bowl weekend, so I'm really excited.
A
So fun.
B
I'm, like, thrilled. I just can't believe there's just a lot going on right now. But it's all amazing things. It's preparing. I'm, like, preparing right now for all of that.
A
Yeah, no, I feel like it's good to take those recharges. I feel like I had that, like, last week and then.
B
Yeah.
A
But now I feel, like, chaotic again. And I'm, you know, like, I was on top of my laundry and. And now my apartment's a mess again. The laundry's like, when the laundry goes.
B
Forget it. Like, when it piles up so high and then you wash it. The best part of laundry is when there's something in the washer and the dryer but nothing out yet. It's like something's being washed, something's being dried, but there's nothing to fold yet. I love that. Period.
A
Yeah.
B
But then once the first load, the lights are done and you have to fold them, then. I hate it. But the lights.
A
While you do your lights first.
B
Sometimes.
A
You just said your lights are done.
B
Yeah, sometimes I do my lights first.
A
Yeah, that's your routine.
B
Because it's like, a smaller batch, so it feels like a little win when I fold everything. So my lights are really just like, tank tops and, like, socks and some underwear.
A
So you do lights and darks. That's how you separate it.
B
Yeah.
A
How about you? I've been doing, like.
B
What else is there to do? Materials.
A
Yeah, I've kind of been like, my two bins. I've been doing, like, delicate slash athletic clothes and, like, non athletic clothes. So, like, T shirts, towels, like, all of that would go in one. And, like. Yeah. I mean, maybe I would grab my towels and do a lot of just towels house. Because, like. But I'm like, all my T shirts of all colors, like, they can be washed together.
B
When you're saying T shirts, what do you mean? Like, I'm talking, like.
A
No, no, no. Like this. I'm wearing, like, a white skim T shirt. That would be my delicate section.
B
Okay. That's what I thought.
A
And I would probably get air dried. I don't know if I would put this in the dryer.
B
Oh, I do.
A
I'VE been air drying a lot.
B
You do that with your leggings, right?
A
Yeah.
B
So impressive.
A
Not every time. When I'm in a pinch, you know something Underwear. No, those get dried.
B
Yeah. It's so vulnerable to have your underwear hanging.
A
You're supposed to, like.
B
I know. Well, that's why I asked.
A
But I like doing it this way because I feel like almost once a day, I would say I wear athletic clothes. And even if it's not once, it probably is, because then I'm wearing, like, I'm wearing lounge or athletic wear.
B
One thing a day, definitely.
A
So I feel like that stuff piles up at the same rate. So it's kind of, like, nice to. I don't know.
B
Yeah. No, that's so true. I recently did an underwear transition.
A
What are you switching out at all?
B
Like, I slowly have been doing it now. It's, like, fully, just about. I was a hanky panky girl to the day I died. I feel like everyone kind of was for a second. Then I was like, these are itchy also because, like, they're just uncomfortable. But it's also because I dry them. I think if you, like, don't dry them, it makes them better. But I was like, no. And so I just stopped buying them. Slowly, slowly. And now I'm full skims.
A
I'm. I'm in the half.
B
Half half.
A
Yeah. Like, literally, those two are my two.
B
Oh, really? And I like some Spanx ones too. I'll, like, filter those in.
A
I see my Spanx are in a separate section. Like, I'm like. I mean, I'm going underwear.
B
I mean, like, the thongs, not Spanx. Like.
A
Yeah, I guess I have a few of those, like, in the mix. But I'm talking about. Then I have, like, a separate section for, like, skims and, like, Spanx, like, you know.
B
Yeah.
A
Like, hi.
B
Yeah, of course. More of the support, definitely. But so, yeah, so it's a thing. And I'm curious, maybe some people are transitioning from Victoria's Secret. Victoria's Secret to what are the others that people wear? Some, like, I know, like, Lululemon.
A
Like, skims. All my friends are on skims these days. Yeah.
B
Comfortable. The fits. Everybody thought.
A
I know. It sounds like this is about to be an ad. It's legitimately not. It's just I actually am wearing my skips underwear currently, so. And my skips are hot. I'm gonna skip start. Yeah.
B
Yeah, exactly.
A
Yeah.
B
No skims. Like, Kim really did that.
A
Like, I know. No, she really said, let's just revolutionize, like, the women's underwear drawer. Yeah.
B
And you know what? I finally just bought it. I don't know if you have this or not. It's like that viral skims bodysuit that everyone.
A
No, I don't have it.
B
I just.
A
The thin tank top.
B
Yeah.
A
I have the Amazon dupe.
B
Oh, I'm sure it's great then. I haven't tried it on yet. I haven't gotten in the mail yet. I'm dying to try it on. It makes everyone look so good.
A
Yeah. Like, it's like, kind of like a corset vibe, but it's not.
B
It's not.
A
Yes. It's like a. I'm excited, Cami.
B
Yeah. Like, yeah, not enough.
A
I know. She really did that. That.
B
She really did that.
A
There was a hole in the market for it, clearly.
B
Yeah. You know what? I also. I think we need to talk about is something that you taught me while we were in Miami about Instagram notes. I. Brooke, I think that no one knew this except for you.
A
I. I'm the only one that's, like, clearly reading the instructions, I guess.
B
So I've been posting on Instagram notes. If you guys don't know what Instagram notes is, it's basically like. Like a little, like, status update above.
A
Your profile picture in the conversation the second. So you swipe to the right once when you're, like, on the Instagram homepage. You swipe. It's like your messages tab.
B
Yeah. And then you see, like, profile pictures, and if people have a note, it's right there. So I've been seeing a ton of our influencer friends and just people posting, like, new reels.
A
I'll read you some right now that are live because this all of a sudden over seemingly overnight became a thing. I won't say new episode out now. So excited for live shows. Eek. January, we are done. Like an emoji. Actually, I don't see. There's not a lot right now.
B
I. I see who is buying road lippies. 7:30am Class. New episode out now. Amazon super bowl finds cell house updates, whatever that means. So I've been seeing all these, and I recently was given the feature on Instagram. I haven't had it. And then I got it, like, a few months ago. Have you always had.
A
I've had it. I've had this for months now. Yeah.
B
Okay. I just recently got New feature unlocked.
A
New feature to hop in.
B
Yeah, I decided to hop in. Well, because it's kind of annoying. Like, it's always there. Like, it's always above your Profile picture on your profile, like New Music Friday or like, do you have something to say? Like, it always, like prompts.
A
Oh, it's giving you. Yes. It's like, what's up?
B
Yeah. I'm like, okay.
A
Yeah.
B
So I've been posting and thinking that all of you have been seeing this, you know, a blast out to your followers. Yes.
A
Like, essentially.
B
Yeah. During. In December, I said vlogmas season, you know, I'm so excited. Little did I know that Brook's over there giggling to herself.
A
There were several times guys, that I opened Instagram and closed Instagram because I saw the combination of Danielle's story and her note and I was like, oh, my God, this is so corny. I want to die. Like, I just. And I'm corny too. But it was to a new level. It would be her story. For example, the. This is.
B
This is the big winner.
A
The straw that broke the camel's back.
B
I posed it. I was making pancakes and bacon on like a Saturday morning.
A
As one does. As one does on a Saturday morning. So your story was like the pancakes in the pan or on the plate. It was like, love a Saturday morning. Like, love, you know, very. Your vibe. Like, yeah, good. Then I go to the notes section. I see Danielle has new notes. And it was the bacon emoji, the egg emoji, the cloud emoji. Was it like.
B
It was. No, it was bacon, pancakes, cloud. And I thought I was being so vibey because I noticed people will do like emoji combos. Like, this girl's in Hawaii right now, and she just posted like a Hawaiian flower and a palm tree. So I was like, oh, this is just. I love an emoji combo. Whatever. So we're in Miami and I posted like, like Miami for live show. So excited. And Brooke goes.
A
We were laying in bed at night. I was like, you. You do know that I was. I honestly wasn't sure. I was like, I gotta approach this carefully because if you knew I was gonna look weird. Idiot. It's like, Daniel, you. You do know that only the people who you follow and they follow you. So, like, your mutuals are seeing these updates, right?
B
I immediately broke down.
A
Well, at first you were like, no, it can't be.
B
Yeah, I thought she was true.
A
Yeah, this can't be true.
B
I was like, you're. You're lying to me right now.
A
So then we did some research. I had to triple check. I was like, maybe I'm gaslighting myself. Maybe I'm wrong. But I knew. I read the instructions right And I was correct because you were getting people like that, you know, personally replying to this Miami thing being I'm here too. Let's link up. Up. You were asking for it. You were literally asking them to hang out. Like, that's. To me, when I see something like that and someone's like, I'm in New York, like, they're looking to like, make plans, you know.
B
No, totally. And I was immediately then like, holy. Just going back through everything I've posted and it's like, how's everyone doing today? Or like vlogmas or like, live show tickets out. And I'm like, only the people on mutuals with. So like, a lot of my friends or like influencers that I've never even met, but we follow each other are seeing this, not you guys who are. Is what you guys are all of our friends. But none of you guys saw this.
A
Yeah, it just comes across as like self promotion, which, I mean, it is. It definitely. Like, and really, what is the difference between someone you're mutuals with, I guess, and like a friend? But at the same time, like, there's just different messaging. I feel like I wouldn't be like, get your tickets. Like, I'd be like, you know, it would be phrased differently.
B
I was using it for like, community building. And I'm just building community with, like a friend from college that is just like, what the. Like, Brooke was like. I'm pretty sure you said, Brooke thinks that I posted a story or.
A
I swear I know for a fact. I don't remember what the verbiage was, but it was like giano with like the martini emoji that one also sent me. I was like, we know you have friends, Daniel.
B
You're going out. And so. But I didn't believe Brooke. I was like, like, I wouldn't do that. And so I asked my friends. Well, back. Yeah. So I asked my friends that we were already talking about notes and they were like, you definitely said something like, night on the town. I was like, holy. And like, literally. So now I've been bringing it up to people. Like, we brought up to our assistant. We were like, oh, my God. And Brooke said to Lucy, like, oh, did you see the cloud thing? She was like, yeah, I did see that. Like, I'm like, everyone saw this and thought it was weird.
A
Like, literally everyone. I said to bed. I was like, have you been. He was like, yeah, I haven't seen Danielle's update Late.
B

B
No, I'm like, no one told me.
A
Thank you for telling me, like, a pretty vacant tab. Like, you guys might not even see it. A lot of people are not utilizing this. Like, I think that it's like just big in the influencer world because.
B
And for what, literally? Why? Because it's not going to our community.
A
I've been seeing a lot new real, but I think it's people like, being like, engaged with my real sort of thing. Right.
B
Maybe. But I really. So then I like, texted a few friends that I've noticed also utilizing the notes tab and they also were so embarrassed and had no idea. So.
A
Well, this is a PSA to use notes wisely. Notes is for your mutuals. It is not just a blast to everybody. And you must be following each other to see it.
B
Yeah. I knew there was something a little off when I posted the cloud bacon and pancake emoji. And my, like, my best friend screenshotted it and said, so true. Danny. You texted it to me and I.
A
Was like, did you feel like, oh, should I delete it?
B
Like, I deleted it immediately. I responded to them. I was like, oh my God. Haha. Yeah, that was kind of weird. And then I deleted it. But I. But like, then I realized and I talked to them. They're like, yeah, no one else we are mutuals with posted. Like, it's always you.
A
So it was only you on that tab. So I'm thinking, like, everyone you've ever talked to, like, ever, like, you know, all of like the people you met in the bathroom at a bar, like.
B
They'Re all seeing that you, like, follow back. Yeah. No. Yep. So I wonder if there's a way to do a poll on our newsletter. Maybe there is. Or we'll do it on Instagram. If not, like, I need to know if you guys knew this about notes or if you thought it just went to everybody.
A
Some people are probably so confused by, like, what. What is this thing?
B
Look it up and you'll be like, okay.
A
I. Yeah, but it's probably a pretty vegan tab for most people, I would imagine. It's like, so that's why you see a cloud in a bacon emoji. It's a little frightening. New merch.
B
It's a funny bit. Oh my God. That'd be really funny. Merch it's cloud and bacon. Yeah. Like, it worked with the story, the photo, but it didn't work with the notes. Like, it just didn't. And that's okay. And I will.
A
No, it was like the combo of the things. It was like doubled the trouble. It was like, I get it. It like Saturday. And then it was like, oh, my God. Do you. Are you obsessed with bacon? Like they're leaning in real.
B
Oh, my God. I'm just so happy you said something that night. I'd still. You could have held on to it.
A
Oh, my God.
B
Yeah, I.
A
Well, I wasn't sure if you knew, like, that would have. You know, there was.
B
I feel like you never really know with me. Like, for example, last night I saw this picture of this dress that is like something I'd maybe wear, but it's pretty crazy. And you never responded to it.
A
Because I wasn't sure. I wasn't. I was like, there's a 75 chance that this is true and then there's a 20 sometimes I don't know. And like, that's.
B
No, I know.
A
The pranks are too close. You need to choose something more radical. I know.
B
I pick. I saw this dress that had like literal, like boob cones. Like, literal.
A
But isn't that trending right now?
B
I would do like a half boob cone, but this was like literal ice. Ice cream cones on a dress. And I sent it to Brooke and it was like a photo at a store. So it looked like I. The photo. And I was like thinking about this maybe for the Irvine show. And Brooke goes, fun. I'm like, oh, my God, she thinks it's real.
A
What am I supposed to say? What am I supposed to.
B
If you think it's. I mean. Yes, we had definitely have different tastes and styles. So it's like you have to be careful what you say.
A
I guess. Yeah. Yeah.
B
But like. Oh my God, that's so funny.
A
No, that is really funny.
B
You never know with me.
A
No, it does thing and you never. With Daniel, you truly never know. But with me, you never know either. I have a new hobby every week, so.
B
Yeah. I never know which way to go.
A
Yeah. Yeah. I'm leaving the house this week, so look out.
B
I'm happy that you're happy we're leaving the country this week.
A
Yeah.
B
My gosh. So I know you've been loving your cordially invited, but do you have another favorite?
A
Yeah, I mean, I only saw it once. I'm not that big of a freak. No, I'm like, I've Watched it five times already.
B
Like, no, I love having like a fixation.
A
Okay. I'm obsessed with the New York Times games.
B
Oh, yeah, you said that to me.
A
I've been in a. I didn't realize that I was not a part of something. It's a daily thing. My mom, my brother and I now are in a group chat. It used to just be them too. And they said, if you want to join our chat, you have to do it every day. And I said, I'm in.
B
Oh, you're like.
A
So I wake up to it every morning to the wordle results, like there were really cute. It's really nice. I feel like I'm, you know, part.
B
Of a community that's fun to have with the fam. Do you just. Sorry, do you just do the wordle or did you do the other one?
A
Oh, and I do connections. That's my other. That I do. And it's. It's honestly hard. I don't get it a lot of the time. The time. But wordle, like, I usually get. I feel like it gets your brain going in the morning. Like you jump for your phone and now that I'm not on Tick tock, it's kind of nice because I'm like, I have something to like, quote, scroll in the morning.
B
Yeah.
A
It's like you wake up, you make your coffee, you sit on the couch and like do your wordle.
B
It like, kind of feels like you're reading the news, but not at all.
A
Like, it's like, not. It's like, like a soft wake up. But it also gets your brain going because, you know, like when you're like, my brain's not working yet. Like, oh, yeah, like it.
B
It me dial in. Yeah, you're dialing in. No, I. I really like that. I definitely need to get back on just wordle at least. I think that's really fun. Stimulating.
A
It's fun. I mean, that. That paired with this is my new morning routine. I do that and I've been doing a red light cap.
B
Oh yeah. The higher dose.
A
Yes. Do you have this too?
B
No, I just. We've talked about.
A
Oh, yeah, you have.
B
It looks like. It looks like a hat. Right?
A
And it became part of my morning routine. Like I literally walked. Walk into the living room. I make my coffee, I put on my higher dose hat and I do my word.
B
I need. Is this in the vlogs on YouTube. Like I need to be.
A
I feel like I've shown it a few times. It's only 10 minutes. I mean, you can't like, see the red light even working? Because it's just like a. It looks like so. We'll see.
B
It's so easy to just pop on. It's so funny, like, imagining you, like your little sim. Waking up, putting on a hat to make your coffee.
A
Like, if. If you would have explained this to me 10 years ago, that this would be my morning routine, I'd be like, she sounds. Sounds lame.
B
Like, I don't think that's lame at all. I think it's fun to have those little things you look forward to, like waking up in the morning.
A
Yeah.
B
Yeah.
A
All right. What about you? What are you loving?
B
At the risk of sounding bacon cloud. Yeah, honestly, exactly. I have. There's the road glazing milk, as you know, and when I first got it, I. I guess I just didn't understand the purpose. I just, like, didn't. I don't know. But I've seen Kelly and other makeup artists use it a lot. And then on Tick Tock, let me tell you what's been going on.
A
Oh, please do.
B
There's been a movement of people. Not a movement, but, like, Haley Bieber, we love road.
A
Yes, we do.
B
I mean, we've always loved road, but the. I've been recently loving the barrier butter. It, like, just came out just great for your barrier. And it's like a moisturizer. It's amazing. Amazing. But I've been doing it in collaboration with the road glazing milk. And oh, my God, like, when you're going to work out or like, you're not putting on makeup, your skin looks like glass. But what people have been doing, because I guess Hailey Bieber showed it, which uses the glazing milk, and it's like a. I don't have this product, the Dior stick foundation, or there's a Dior foundation that she makes, and everyone's skin looks amazing. And I'm like, no, I don't need to buy another foundation.
A
So she does the skin prep and then the founding.
B
Yeah, I think so, but I'm not doing that at the moment. I just rediscovered the glazing milk because I had it with the barrier butter. It just. It gives you that glass skin. I didn't put it on today because I'm trying this new thing where I just matte my face like crazy for the lights because if I use the glazing milk, I'd be too glowy for this camera. But I've been loving it. I. I got as many sides for.
A
Our trip to Cabo Mini.
B
They have a Mini. And it's great for, like, if you want glowy makeup. I just. Road packaging makes me happy. Like, I just love it. So.
A
Yeah.
B
And the lip contour just came out. Did you see the lip liners?
A
Yes. I like the name and I. The Tate McCrae brand campaign. I thought that was very smart of her.
B
So smart. Tapping in.
A
Yes. Yes. No. I honestly haven't used road since, like, two years. Like, when it first came out. I feel like I got sent, like, the basic kit or whatever and my skin was just not in a place to be. Like, trying new.
B
Yeah.
A
But, like, I feel like I would try it again maybe now.
B
It really is great. Like, I feel like. And I feel like she really does use it, which makes it more authentic. Magic.
A
Yeah.
B
So I don't know. But great.
A
That's great.
B
We do. Yeah, we do have. We wanted to continue our Q A that we did the episode before Katie because we had so many amazing questions and we had so much to talk about that day that we really didn't do many questions. So we're gonna go through a few of them. I actually saw one that I really wanted to talk about because I thought it would be fun. Is something about weddings. Ha ha ha.
A
Do either of you have filler on your lips? They look so good. Good.
B
Like filler. Lip filler. Yeah.
A
That's what this person said.
B
My God.
A
So nice. Now, honestly, we. We've both been like, over lining and I feel like that really does the job.
B
It really does. I said to you. I literally said to you, like, I think the key is having a sharp lip liner.
A
Like, you're so right. I've let mine go dull for too long. I finally got like a NARS sharpener or whatever and it changed my life.
B
It. Seriously, you just, like, have to have it on hand and sharpen that thing, like, all the time.
A
Yeah. And a lot of reapplication. I feel like. Of gloss, unfortunately.
B
Yeah. Constantly. I know I've tried to follow in your footsteps. In what city or town and state or like, you can be general. Do you think you will get married?
A
Oh, my God. One similar to my rebranding of my personal brand new ideas idea. Every week. I'm like, destination somewhere.
B
Yeah.
A
Wait.
B
I feel like this is always what you've wanted.
A
Yeah. I was like, oh, out of the country destination. I don't know. I don't know if that's, like, practical though.
B
Did you change your mind this week?
A
This week? Maybe. Like, I'm between that and, like, like a Hampton situation.
B
I so See that for you. I would love, as an attendee to go to either. So.
A
Yes. Don't they both sound like good options?
B
I think everyone would be really excited to either go abroad because let's say you were abro. Abroad. Where are you getting married tomorrow? Like, if it was tomorrow, where are you getting.
A
Oh, my gosh. I like that. That's the problem is that I don't have the place, but I would want it to be some. Like, I'm not a beach girl, but I would want it to be somewhere warm.
B
Yeah.
A
Would be my thing. So, like, I don't know. Is it? Probably not. Like, I mean, as much as I love a Europe. European wedding, like, I would like a Turks and Caicos, honestly. Not for, like, the beach of it all, but more for the, like, warmth. And there's, like, you could have it outside and inside. And, like, if you do it the right time of year. There's not a lot of bucks, like, somewhere like that that you could just.
B
Oh, yeah. Bugs is important for you. If there are bugs at Brooks wedding.
A
I don't know. I haven't found the place is my problem.
B
Yeah.
A
That's why I can't commit to.
B
Yeah. There's actually something to unpack because you don't like the beach, but if you got married, let's say, in Turks and Caicos, where would the ceremony be?
A
I don't want to walk barefooted, like, down the. Like, that's not happening. Like, I'm so not like that. No, but I. It would be nice. Like, a nice view like that. Yeah, Like. Yeah, like, indoors with a nice view or like, on a patio with a nice. You like, that would be cool. I don't know. I'm really, like, open. I just. I don't see myself having, like, a cold wedding, you know, I don't see myself having, like, a New Year's wedding. Like, that's like. It's just not me.
B
Yeah. No, I. I'm just asking because I'm just genuinely curious. I don't know either. But I do know that the idea that it could even maybe rain really doesn't fly with me. Like, I feel like everyone wants the outdoor wedding because it's beautiful.
A
Yes.
B
But the thought of having a rain plan. That. That.
A
And no one's ever really okay with their rain plan. Like, they'll be like, you know what? Beautiful. I have one. But, like, it sucks.
B
Like, you know, like, yeah, we have plan B. You're so right. Like, you never. It's never good.
A
You never, like. And it should be that the rain plan is, like, equally to the regular plan. Because I feel like you have to plan for the worst. I hate to say that, but you really do, right?
B
Yeah. So. And the thing is, the ceremony isn't that long. Long?
A
Like, no, I mean, depends how many people you have going up there.
B
Yeah.
A
But if it's just one person marrying you guys, and then maybe you exchange some personal vows. Are we talking 20 minutes? Like, yeah, like, maybe 30. I don't know.
B
It depends. Like, if it's a Catholic wedding. Those are longer. Like, certain religions are longer.
A
But, like, you've got a good 30. Yeah, you got a clean.
B
Got a clean 30 set to do your bit. No, it's definitely something to think about. Like, I think we were. I was talking to Katie Bloody about this, and she was like, no, the thought of, like. Like, I just think about, like, me at Surf Lodge when it rained and how bad of a mood I was in. And that was Surf Lodge on your wedding.
A
So give me some. But.
B
Oh, oh, oh. Some cities, yes. I would either want to get married in Tampa or New York City. I would love. Like, the thought of a New York City wedding is so fun. Especially, like, now that we've lived here so long and, like, you start to have a lot of friends that live here. Honestly. What's her. Bridget. Bridget's wedding. The bar girl. Her wedding was, like, at the Plaza. Was it at the Plaza?
A
Yeah.
B
Oh, I'm not saying, like, I would do where.
A
Yeah.
B
Did. No, but, like, she. Her wedding made me for the first time think, oh, a wedding in New York would be chic. Like, that's. It's doable. It's so fun. It would be really expensive, though, I feel like. And then Tampa, obviously, would be lovely.
A
So.
B
Yeah.
A
No, and I'm sure. And by the way, wedding at the Plaza would be amazing. I feel like, oh, very your vibe.
B
But I actually don't think it's like. I think it's really pretty, but I think I'd want more, like, not modern.
A
But, I don't know, white brick, marble.
B
My mind changes every day as well. But I've had those two cities in mind for a while, you know, because I'm getting married tomorrow. Hi, I'm Stassi Schroeder. On my podcast, I share candid updates from my personal life, chat with some of my best friends about what's going.
A
On in our lives, give commentary on.
B
The latest pop culture headlines, and sometimes deep dive into random topics. I'm obsessed with, like, human design. It's a bit all over the place, but that's how I like it. And you will, too.
A
Listen to my podcast, Stassi.
B
Wherever you get your podcasts.
A
No, that's why, like, I'm so glad, honestly, not to be, like, so pick me. Like, but, like, that's also why I'm so glad I'm not getting married tomorrow, because my mind changes way too.
B
Yeah.
A
Like, I'm so all over the place with literally everything in my life right now, so I just need to chill.
B
No, exactly. I feel like when you get married, it's because you're ready to take that next step and hunker down and you know exactly what you want. Right now, the gals are all over the place. There is no time for that.
A
Oh. Literally no consistency everywhere.
B
Random dots on tour for comedy. Like, how are you to know I.
A
Might have a movie premiere that week?
B
Yeah, like, you literally never know.
A
Obsession.
B
Yes. Like, it's too much to make decisions, but it's always fun. It's, like, one of my favorite. I feel like we do this all the time on girls trips and stuff. It's just so fun to go around the table, like, tomorrow, where would you do your Bachelorette?
A
Yes.
B
Always so fun.
A
I know. And I feel like I've. I used to say, like, really small wedding, and I still want, like, on the smaller side. I don't think I want. I. I don't want it to be the type of thing where I'm, like, meeting people for the first time at the wedding, which I know well, people say that. And, like, yeah, of course there's gonna be a few, and then you're like.
B
Okay, let them in. Like, yeah, of course.
A
Like someone's boyfriend or whatever. Like, of course. But more so just I don't want it to be, like. And my fourth cousin, once removed that I haven't talked to but, like, felt bad, so I invited them, you know, like, no, that. Yeah, I know.
B
It adds up quickly. Like, you're like, oh, I do want that person there. Okay, well, then they have a husband or a wife.
A
And I know. I feel like a lot of wedding stuff is, like, if I have this person, I have to have these three.
B
And then the parents are like, oh, but we gotta invite the neighbors or whatever it is.
A
Of course. Of course your parents gotta have a table.
B
Yeah, the parents. It's like the Met gala. It's like, oh, who are you?
A
Who's your sponsor?
B
Yeah, it's like, I wonder if any weddings, if anyone's done, like, a themed table. I Feel like that's fun. Like, each table has its own theme. That's so crazy, though. It doesn't probably look good.
A
Oh, my gosh. I'm thinking of, like, Monopoly when you have, like, your piece. Yeah. You know, when you're playing, like, and you're like, I'm the wheel. Like, yeah.
B
It's like, exactly.
A
Xbox.
B
Like, I really like that.
A
Wow. Wedding stuff does get me, like, hype, though. Like, I gotta be honest, especially after watching this wedding theme movie, I was like, oh, this is so sick, Reese. This is not a spoiler, but, like, her character in the movies, first name Reese, she was like, I've done three site visits. Like, I'm gonna love this. You're gonna love it. Yeah.
B
Three site visits. This is what we've. So she's not the bride. She's the sister.
A
The sister of the bride.
B
Is she the maid of honor? Is that that way?
A
It's, like, unofficial. Like, they never really talk about that.
B
And then Will Ferrell is the dad.
A
Of the other bride.
B
I'm curious to see why these two are the main characters. Like, how they get connected. Oh, it's the same wedding. Is it one they.
A
No, they are having two weddings.
B
Okay.
A
But they booked the same venue on the same day. Oh.
B
So it's totally giving Brad wars. In a way.
A
It is. Except that Rhys and Will are the main characters. As opposed to the brides.
B
Girls. Yeah. And not two brides. But I know.
A
Yes. Why I love that same concept.
B
Concept. What is Yalls favorite perfume right now? Imoji. I think you. I just smelled it. It smells amazing.
A
We talked about this, like, a few weeks ago.
B
Oh, did we?
A
Yeah. Because I said the rare beauty, the fine comfort one, and you said the.
B
I have a new one.
A
I have a new character online.
B
Oh, you have another one to say.
A
Yeah. I. I went perfume shopping at Burgdorfs.
B
Yeah. What came of this? Woke up.
A
We were going to. That was the day we went to the Louis Vuitton cafe, actually.
B
Okay.
A
And I was like, oh, I want to go shopping. I was like, you know, I want to get my perfume of the year. Like, I decided that, like, I wanted to do that, and I went to the. What it. What is that brand? It's this bak. Whatever K Maison K. And I went to the counter. I was like, look, I love Bakarat, but, like, I want to do something a little different. And then they had, like, a Bakarat, like, intense. Did. Have you ever seen this one? I've seen a red bottle.
B
It. What does it smell like.
A
It's just a little more intense.
B
There's, like, 20 bottles. I feel like, yeah, this.
A
And I was like, no. And then I started smelling a few. And then this one, he was like, this is probably, like, the second or third most popular. It's called gentle fluidity. I would say kind of floral. Like, what would you say? The.
B
Maybe. No, I loved it. I just don't usually like floral, so that's why I'm like, oh, maybe. I'm sure there's floral in it.
A
It.
B
It has a Bakarat vibe. But then, yeah, maybe there's, like, a more floral.
A
Let me. I'll. I'll smell it one more time.
B
It smells so good, and it's a beautiful, like, gold bottle. Brooke and I tried to be aesthetic. Today. We filmed, like, a real. Where we show, like, each of us put our perfumes in our lip balms and, like, showing, like, you know, same girl, different.
A
It doesn't say it on it, does it? Gentle fluidity, gold.
B
Maybe like, a little vanilla. I don't know. I can't remember.
A
Well, maybe I just smell like vanilla because, like, I. I had a different one on today, but now. Okay, I don't.
B
Maybe it is floral.
A
You tell me. You tell. I'm so bad at describing the scents, guys. Like, I. I don't know the difference between.
B
So good. I wouldn't call this.
A
It's feminine.
B
I would say it's, like, a little spicy feminine. Oh, it's so good. I. I have no idea.
A
It's nice.
B
You guys can look it up.
A
My. My biggest thing was, like, I wanted it to be, like, youthful without being, like, just like a body mist. Like, Che. Like, not that all body miss are that way, but I didn't. I wanted it to be, like, adult.
B
But also bright, happy, but not like a body mist from, like, 2012. I know. Exactly.
A
Exactly. It was, like, the. The careful balance of the two, and I'm very happy with this. The bottles, obviously gorgeous. I really just went up to the counter and said, hit me. Like, I know I'm being dead serious. I literally went up there. I said, hit me with what you got.
B
I think that's so fun.
A
And he had a blast, the guy. Oh. And he wanted to keep going. I was like, I have scent fatigue on, like, the seventh day. I was like, I cannot make any more decisions. Like, this is too much.
B
Do they have coffee beans out for you to smell in between?
A
Yes, he did. And he was. He wanted me to keep going. And I was like, you're like, I'm good, actually. Every time I kept going back to this one, I was like, I still feel like I like that one the most. Stuff like I like that one the most.
B
It's always been you.
A
You gentle fluidity has a place in my heart.
B
It sounds so good.
A
What about you?
B
Obviously still loving Balda freak from Birado, which is so funny because then we went to this hotel, the Intercontinental in Buckhead, and they have all Byredo Bell to freak scents, like products.
A
I was shook. I honestly, I've never seen it at irl. I feel like maybe I've seen your bottle of it, but I. But I never connected the shampoo. They had belt freak shampoo, and it smelled amazing.
B
So good.
A
That was lovely.
B
So good. That was fun. So obviously still loving that. But I just got in the mail literally today, so, like. But I'm bringing on vacation. This is gonna be my vacation scent. Prada beauty, something, something. They. Rhubarb. Rhubarb. It's like a pink bottle. Oh, my God. It actually reminds me of this old Victoria's Secret body mist. I used to have the adult version, but it's an adult version. Yeah. It has this, like. I think it might have been pure seduction was the Victoria's Secret one. And this smells like it. I don't know how to explain it, but it smells so good. Like, sometimes when designers come out with perfumes, I don't love them, cuz I find they just remind me of the department store.
A
Sometimes they're giving like, lady. Like. Like, I feel like it's just not like they. They didn't invest in the actual scent. Yes.
B
They.
A
They just put the bot. They put their name on a bottle.
B
Yeah. And I feel like everyone can kind of agree on that, but Prada beauty. Beauty. I know. Paradox smells so good.
A
That one's a good. I travel with that.
B
That's what it is smelling like. Oh, my God, it smelled so good. And then this one came, and I'm like, this is good too. So Prada beauty is doing something right with their fragrance.
A
Yeah. They have good perfumes.
B
They do.
A
I'm happy with them.
B
Yeah. So let's see if I can find.
A
Yeah, no, we've got some good.
B
Brooke, do you have a favorite color? Oh, I'm gonna ask that.
A
Just me?
B
No.
A
Oh, it's like, that's so random.
B
Says, what's your favorite color? Colors?
A
I say, like, pink and purple these days. Probably more like pink is probably still my favorite.
B
Yeah.
A
Which, you know, like, when I see things that are like, in A multitude of colors. Like, I generally opt for pink still, which is.
B
That's a good way to, like, figure it out.
A
Yes. Whether it be clothes, but more so, I'm talking, like, accessory type items like pouches, nails. My default neutral is a pink. Like, you know, I feel like pink is for me. It's behind us.
B
Yeah.
A
It's everywhere.
B
So. Happy.
A
Yeah. How about you?
B
Is it yellow? I really don't. It's not really yellow. I don't really have an answer. But you just saying that, like, when some recently. If I'm picking something, I'm picking brown.
A
Chocolate brown. I mean, you're wearing hair or.
B
Yeah. Or red. I love red. Like, I. I feel like red's just bright and vibrant.
A
I guess you could have, like, a bright color and then, like, a neutral option.
B
What's your neutral option?
A
Honestly, I'm a gray. Like. Like, I really am.
B
Because it makes your hair pop too.
A
Do I. I do like, things in a gray.
B
Yeah.
A
Kitchen appliances and stuff. I've been getting it all. My kitchen is gray.
B
Yeah.
A
And I've been getting a lot of just. I used to get white, and now I'm like, Growth is realizing that, like, maybe things look better. Like the stainless steel, like, gray option.
B
Yeah. You know, like chrome. That's funny. Your color would be gray and your kitchen's gray. My color would be brown and my kitchen's brown.
A
It's almost like we care about that. Yeah.
B
It's almost like we care.
A
Yeah.
B
Oh, my God.
A
Should we do one more to end it on? Yeah. Bring us home. Bring her on home. John B. B.
B
Bring it on home. John B. How John B. Is doing? Or Topper or.
A
Well, these questions are really funny.
B
I know there's some good questions. I was like, we gotta, like, bring this back for another episode.
A
Someone said, brooke, did you feel different as a redhead? Other than insecure.
B
Your hair entered the room before.
A
Oh, my God. That's so funny. Okay.
B
I keep smelling this perfume for over.
A
I know we just, like, spray. I feel like this is the perfume department now.
B
It is. So sorry.
A
Literally.
B
But I actually am, like, loving.
A
Literally.
B
Literally.
A
Literally. What's something you predict will go out of style this year? I've.
B
Oh, I'm. I have one to say that. Like, I don't want to say because I don't want it to be true, but I'm seeing it happen before my eyes. Like. Which you never really wore, but, like, the super, super baggy jeans. I. I find myself pulling for this one pair of jeans that are just like a Straight leg and, like, you have, like, a tapered leg. And then obviously, skinny jeans are coming back. Like, I'm worried the baggy. Baggy jeans answer and route out. I don't know.
A
But that's just what came from now. But the thing is, like, don't get rid of them, though, because in two years, they'll be back. Like, if they're for good. For good. And also, like, but there's still.
B
Yeah, I think, like, people will still wear them with, like, a tea. But, like, I would wear them with, like, to go out with a leather jacket. Maybe people won't. I think they're still in right now, but you're right. Don't get rid of them jeans. Like, they're just always coming in and out.
A
I know. I, like, wish my mom, like, saved her cool jeans from, like, the 80s, like, those styles, because I feel like they're back in style. And, like. Yeah. I'm like, where are they? I was like, I literally don't know.
B
I literally don't know.
A
Yeah.
B
Goodwill.
A
Yeah. Yeah, yeah.
B
What about you? What do you think? That's, like, such a hard.
A
It's so hard because I feel like the things that I thought were gonna be done, like, the really sort of like, colorful accessories and, like, very, like, things like that.
B
Bag charms. Yeah.
A
Like, I think they're not. I went to Prada the other day, just. Just browsing.
B
Yeah.
A
Just walked in, you know, just to feel something.
B
Yeah.
A
And the. They literally are making the bags with a separate area to put the bag charms and selling bag drums.
B
Oh, yeah. You showed me that. That's crazy. Crazy.
A
So I feel like the things that I thought were on the way out, I guess they're giving them a longer life.
B
Yeah. Which is crazy because remember phone charms?
A
Yeah.
B
We both had those. Then they just got annoying. I still think they're adorable. They were just.
A
For sure.
B
Oh. So I was listening to a podcast, let's get dressed. I was listening to that, and she. She did a really cool episode, which I guess it doesn't make sense for us because we don't have a lot of people on, but she, like, took audio bites from, like, every podcast episode this year. And, like, her face. Favorite tips. She's learned about getting dressed, whatever. And this one girl said that she thinks that sweat sets. Me, like, matching sets may go out of style. And I'm like, that is so not cool. Like, not anytime.
A
Yeah.
B
But she was like, there will probably be a time when matching sets aren't in. I'm like, how will they not be in. I feel like they've always. I feel like they just had a resurgence.
A
I feel like it just makes getting dressed easier.
B
Yeah, like, that's. I go to revolve. Matching set section. Like, I. I want.
A
Is she talking about, like, sweat sets or matching sets?
B
Like, like, she just said matching sets. She's the owner or the founder of Lisette, and they do, like, more loungewear, I guess, but.
A
Because, like, yesterday I wore an Aritzia set where it was literally the. The flared leggings, the tank top, and the sweatshirt were all in the exact same shade of pink.
B
I saw that. That's Aritzia, Okay.
A
Yeah, it's Aritzia. Oh, my God. The. It's like the butter line. Mine. I've felt so good in those pants, I have to tell you. Like, they really just do something for you.
B
Love that feeling.
A
Never had a pair.
B
Me either.
A
Oh, my gosh. Another lovely.
B
Lovely.
A
And I don't know, like, I guess that is a matching set, but I. I feel so, like, cute when I'm all one color and coordinate or.
B
Yeah, it feels so, like, dramatic put.
A
Together without being, like, sweatset, like, bat. Just baggy all over. Like, I feel like it was still, like, fitted but cute.
B
But it was so cute.
A
Yeah. So I don't see that necessary. I mean, I hope it's dressing all in, one color. Out of style.
B
No, monochromatic is, like, very in right now.
A
That's what I thought, too.
B
Oh, very in. I don't know. That's just what she said.
A
That was her. Her prediction.
B
I think she was. She was saying, like, because, like, that's what her brand is based on. So she's like, I'm prepared, you know, if it goes out of style or something. And I'm like, why? How could it go out of style?
A
But maybe I feel like gene cuts fluctuate a lot. Like, that's definitely something. And then skirt, like, lengths, too. Right. I've been taking a lot of, like, more midi and I'm, like, not the biggest fan.
B
Like, calves out.
A
I keep trying it, and I'm just like, it's just not the cup for me.
B
You mean, like, right here?
A
Or even, like, a higher. Like. Yeah, yeah, even. Like, I feel like, not a mini, but, like, right above the even. I'm like, they're just not. It's just not working for me personally. So, like, I don't really care if it's not popular. Like, I'm just going to wear what I like.
B
Yeah. I think, you know, with stuff like that. It's so good to do. This has been so much fun.
A
So much fun.
B
We love you guys. This is such a great episode. Our next live show will be in Boston. We would love to see you there. We have a few tickets left. Gretchen Garrity is our guest. We're gonna have so much fun. We're going out after, like, Boston. Just get ready at the Wilbur Theater.
A
It's gonna be iconic. So, yeah, get your tickets and give this video a thumbs up. If you're watching on YouTube, subscribe, go watch this on YouTube. If you're not. Yeah, you can see our beautiful faces.
B
Yes. It's fun. I've been loving putting it on on my TV and just having it on it. Like, we look so much better on TV than we do on, like, Instagram reels. I'm like, oh, wow. I love how it looks on the tv.
A
Gals on the big screen.
