Brooke
Hey, guys, what's up? Welcome back to Gals on the Go podcast.
Danielle
It's Brooke and Danielle, and I've got my hater blockers on today.
Brooke
Can't see no haters when the blockers are on.
Danielle
Welcome back to Gals in the Go podcast. Today is going to be a very fun episode for some. Not for us.
Brooke
No, not for us. We're roasting. I mean, like, we just signed ourselves up essentially for open form bullying, open.
Danielle
Forum bullying here for the gals. We are. You know, we like to spice it up around here when we can. And we do like to hear y', all's, y' all constructive feedback and criticism, and it's sometimes funny what people write. So we thought it would be fun and also beneficial. Like, we wanted to, you know, with the rebrand and everything. Like, we want this to be a podcast that you guys like to listen to.
Brooke
Of course. So we're going through our podcast reviews today. You know, this is a special place on the Internet. Really? Yeah. But, you know, there is, as you're saying, there's some valuable feedback in there. Some of them are also just hilarious. So.
Danielle
Yeah. And hopefully, you know, this will remind you guys, though, when you do leave, like, those super negative ones, that there are real people that read this.
Brooke
Totally.
Danielle
And there's a reason that we often don't look at the reviews. Because they hurt our feelings.
Brooke
Yeah. And a lot of them are, like, not productive. Like, it's just like, oh, I hate you. You're ugly, you're in love.
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke
Like, whatever it is. And it's like, okay, no need.
Danielle
Haha.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
But we pulled ones that. Well, actually, we haven't really seen them all. Bianca pulled them for us to kind of take a look, and they are. I, like, peeked at them and they. You know, there's a little bit of. Yeah.
Brooke
A little bit. A mixed bag.
Danielle
A mixed bag. So that's what you guys have to look forward to in this episode. But we're really excited because we have a fun announcement.
Brooke
We do. So I don't know if you guys have been missing us because we haven't been on tour, but maybe you have. I feel like, you know, we. It was fun to, like, get out there and connect with you guys, like, 100%, all the various cities. And we kind of wanted to, like, continue that theme without an actual tour. But, like, we want to, like, you know, bring together a community, meet people.
Danielle
Irl. Yeah. Whenever I say irl, I feel like a millennial. A millennial get to meet the gals. Irl.
Brooke
It's very. That, like, brands love to use that.
Danielle
I feel like a brand.
Brooke
Yeah. They'll be like, would love to connect. IRL.
Danielle
100%. That's. That's how it feels.
Brooke
But it's real. No, but it's real. We're. We're living our millennial tr. So, so. So we were, like, brainstorming. We were like, you know, how could we, like, bring together, like, the gals community without it necessarily being, like, us talking at you guys and, like, you.
Danielle
Know, doing like, a whole show.
Brooke
Yeah, exactly.
Danielle
Something together.
Brooke
Together. I think that's the theme, right?
Danielle
That is the theme. So we are hosting our first Gals on the Go community event, if you will. We are doing a workout class in New York City.
Brooke
We are. If you would have told me this two years ago, I would have been shocked. Like, yeah, so true.
Danielle
But here we are. And I know we're gonn to sit up front, which makes me so nervous.
Brooke
It does. I'm. But I'm like, that's my motivation to currently work out.
Danielle
I don't know about you.
Brooke
I'm like, every day I'm going. I'm like, I'm going to be in the front of that class. Coming up. I better be. Yeah. Getting in.
Danielle
And we did pull you guys on Instagram. We did say, like, you know, if we were to host a class, where would you guys want us to do it? And a lot of people said Soto Method.
Brooke
Yeah, well, we've taken the classes a few times. We love them. I have to. I feel like I'm pretty particular when it comes to work. And I have to say, I love it. It moves quickly, but it's such a good workout. You're sore the next day, but you're also like, it's. It's manageable, which I like.
Danielle
Yes. I would say it's like a soft sculpt kind of class. Like, not.
Brooke
No heat.
Danielle
No heat. We are just out here sculpting. There's always such good music. It's a really good vibe. And like Brooke said, you leave feeling like you got a really good workout, but you're not like, oh, my gosh, I'm dying.
Brooke
Exactly.
Danielle
Is perfect for the gal.
Brooke
I feel like it's very. You guys are going to love it, and it's like, a good way to, like, try a new workout if you want, make some Friends come with some friends come alone. I feel like it's the type of thing that's perfect to come alone though.
Danielle
Like, yeah, especially you don't need, like it's perfect and you have us, you have your gal pals. Totally. And like, it will be cool to me that the people that listen to the podcast in person will have some goodie bags and some fun things. Like we want to do it up and hopefully if this goes well, which I know it will, we'll do more.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
And it's just the first of many. Maybe we'll go to other cities and do this. I love how Kelly. Kellyanne.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
Makeup by Kellyanne Events. And this is definitely something that the gals want to get into as well.
Brooke
100 like they, I feel like workout is just like a good first. Like we're getting into it but like, you know, we'll see how it goes. I, I have pasta making.
Danielle
I don't know.
Brooke
Oh my God. So fun.
Danielle
All kinds of different options.
Brooke
Yeah. Wine tasting.
Danielle
I'll say less we get liddy together with the gal pals.
Brooke
Oh my gosh. But we could like cater it to like the city. Like, it could be like, you know, like what's specific, Like Atlanta, Georgia, peach pie making.
Danielle
Like, I love that. I'm, I'm so obsessed. So you guys probably like gals. When. Where can I get a ticket? So it's going to be on Wednesday, September 24th for from 5 to 5:50pm It's a 50 minute class and we are going to have so much fun. We did this time in hopes that it can maybe work out with work schedule. Hopefully, you know, as much as it can, like a happy hour kind of time. But yeah, it's a workout hour instead.
Brooke
A little evening workout. So we have a link that you guys can sign up. We're going to post it on Instagram. It will be like in our link tree and really just all over our social. So like you can go sign up. I mean there's very limited spots.
Danielle
So yeah, we'll have posted that so you guys can easily access it. And like Brooke said in the description below as well. And it's at the Sodo Method Tribeca location. That's 68 Thomas street and Tara is going to be the instructor and we're just going to have so much fun. I seriously can't wait. There's a fun little merch moment in there. That's all we'll say.
Brooke
Yeah, no, you get some things. There's, there's there. You get some things I know you.
Danielle
Guys like free things. Who doesn't?
Brooke
Who doesn't? I mean, seriously, you say free stuff is there, and people are like, I'm there. I mean, you have to pay it for the class.
Danielle
But you know what you get?
Brooke
It's bonus free hugs from the gals.
Danielle
Sweaty hugs. Oh, my God. We gotta, like, do our hugs before.
Brooke
Where's my hug?
Danielle
Where's my hug? Fun. So we're so. I'm. Oh, this is just gonna be so much fun. And hopefully we can work with the trainer to kind of.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
Have a playlist that's kind of a mesh of like, everything that we love, which I think we will for sure.
Brooke
And we're gonna have a great time. What. What else is happening in life? I feel like life is lifeing. It's going so fast. I've just.
Danielle
You finished out your Hampton summer. We're done with the Hamps.
Brooke
Done. I mean, like, maybe a little bit, like, going. Yeah, maybe. I don't really like my falls very up in the air is weddings.
Danielle
All weddings.
Brooke
I forgot you have. And you just came back from a wedding.
Danielle
I just came back from a wedding. It was lovely.
Brooke
Family wedding.
Danielle
Family wedding.
Brooke
Oh, that's so wholesome. I love a family wedding.
Danielle
It was really wholesome. And, like, it was my cousin. It was. It was really fun. I'd never been to Michigan before other than, like, the airport.
Brooke
Yeah, that was really special.
Danielle
And there's a lot of Michigan gals on the go.
Brooke
Oh, you met.
Danielle
No, I didn't. One person. But I got two messages saying I saw you, and I didn't say hi. And then just so many people were so excited that I was in Michigan. I think I was, like, up north, like, on the mitten. I was really up high.
Brooke
I went on fine friends. I was like, she's in Canada.
Danielle
I was basically in Canada.
Brooke
What airport did you fly into? I need to know, because I know. I heard.
Danielle
Yeah, I literally. I flew into Detroit and then from Detroit to Pelston, which is a very small airport, which I've been to small airports before. But I did, like, a quick Google search, and I thought you could just Uber from the airport. They were like, yeah, there is Uber in Pelston. No, there is no Uber in Pelston. I literally ended up. I texted Brooke. I was like, brooke, I'm living your worst nightmare right now. Because I feel like you just wouldn't do this. You would find another way.
Brooke
I mean, you probably looked through all of your options.
Danielle
I looked through all my options. I was so tired. I'd been up since 4am I wanted to get to the hotel, so I shared a random driver with a couple at the airport.
Brooke
How did this come up? Were you just, like, lost and then.
Danielle
Like, they approached you all of an airport? And I think they know that us people from the city are expecting to get these Ubers. And this guy came up to us, and he was like, look, look, look, you're not gonna get a car. Like, here is a taxi. You guys can call. His name was Jeff, actually. So I called Jeff, and he's like, I'm so sorry. I'm actually coming right now to get someone. Call Judy. I called Judy. She's like, no, I'm not available, but you should call Jeff. And I'm like, everyone loves Jeff. Then I call this other number. Like, we are going through. We got. It was a little sketchy, like, what pulled up.
Brooke
But how did. Were you already collabing with the other couple at this point?
Danielle
At this point, we were realizing we were calling the same people, and it was. I see.
Brooke
And it was like, hey, you. You go. And how did you determine you were going to the same place?
Danielle
Yeah, well, I was going to Petoskey, and they were going to Harbor Springs, which was, like, on the way, so I dropped them off first.
Brooke
Oh, okay. Honestly, going with another, like, in a, like, quote, like, unfamiliar place, like, and, like, a random cab place, like, now that we have, like, Uber and stuff that you could track, like, taking, like, a random cab is, like, as unconventional, I feel.
Danielle
It's scarier a little.
Brooke
That's why it is not trackable in an unfamiliar city. Yeah, like, remote.
Danielle
But everyone was so nice, and, like, the guy was lovely, but it was just so funny. I was like, this is out of.
Brooke
A movie for sure. No, I actually think it's better you went with the couple, actually. I mean, probably so with. Than going alone. So it's not something I've gone out of my way, like, someone come with me.
Danielle
But it worked out so well for you. It worked out great. And you were in the Hamptons, right?
Brooke
Yeah, this weekend. Yeah, we did like, a whole, like, split situation, you know, splitting time.
Danielle
That's so nice that both you and both parents live in the same state.
Brooke
Yeah, yeah, no, it is. It is really nice. I feel like, for reasons like that, where it's like, okay, like, we can, like, split up the week, the big weekends and stuff, and, yeah, my fall is on track to be really random. I feel like I'm just saying yes to things that kind of come my way. I'm like, might go to Mexico. I might.
Danielle
Like, everything's like a Ben.
Brooke
Yeah. Yes. His schedule is getting a little bit. Because he's, like, applying to residency and stuff now. So I feel like it's very. Like, some months are better than others in terms of, like, time. So I. Whenever. You know how it is with free time.
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke
Yeah. I feel like other people plan their vacations out, like, much further in advance, but, like, at the moment, I'm not really able to do that because it's, like, kind of things are. Things are changing on a dime, but that's so okay with me.
Danielle
It's so okay. And New York City in the fall is so lovely, so I'm, like, trying to be here as much as I can.
Brooke
Yeah. And the new apartment.
Danielle
In the new apartment, you're settling in. I know why you keep making fun of me for saying nesting, because I'm seeing it as, like, a mother term.
Brooke
Yeah. You do it when you're pregnant.
Danielle
Yeah, I'm, like, seeing it, and I'm like, oh, my God. I've just been saying, like, we've been nesting, like, oh, my God, I'm not pregnant.
Brooke
Oh, my God. That's. Well, if you preface it with the I'm not pregnant, because otherwise, people are like, oh, when's. When's the baby?
Danielle
No, I didn't realize that.
Brooke
I didn't. It's like a thing that, you know, when you are pregnant, allegedly, you feel the urge to, like. To want to nest. It's like a. A mother bird, like, making the nest. Right? Like.
Danielle
Yeah. No. They're literally preparing for their new child. Oh. We also both went to the US Open. We haven't talked about.
Brooke
Yeah, that's kind of. I have.
Danielle
Oh, okay.
Brooke
Story coming up. But I like your merch.
Danielle
Thank you. I. I was. It was fun going. We both went at the beginning of the US Open this year, so all the merch was, like, available. So, like, I feel thing, like, things sell out.
Brooke
They do.
Danielle
And I really like that I'm. I can't stop wearing, like, rugby polos.
Brooke
They're so cool. Yeah. They're very trendy right now, I feel.
Danielle
Yeah, they're popping up everywhere. They're so cute. Okay, let's do our panic of the week.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
I feel like that's leading into. Is that your plan?
Brooke
For sure, for sure, for sure. Yeah. Nothing too crazy. Don't everyone settle down. It's U.S. open season, which I feel so blessed to go. I have to say. I feel like it's. Every year gets bigger and bigger. Like, I know it's not like it's on the same grounds and stuff, but.
Danielle
I just feel like it's social media really does. Yes, 100%.
Brooke
I swear that like, well, it used to be somewhere different, like many, many like a really long time ago. And then like much, much when we.
Danielle
Were much, much younger, we might not.
Brooke
Have even been alive. I don't exactly know. But like I feel like talking like my parents about it and stuff. Like they're like almost like that's here. Like it's right. Has gotten so much like hype, which I'm happy about because I actually like watching Dennis.
Danielle
So fun.
Brooke
It's a fun sport to watch. Okay, so I know this. I've gone like every year now for four years. I feel very lucky. I. I literally tell myself, wear comfortable shoes. There's a lot of walking involved.
Danielle
Brooke, I can't.
Brooke
Why that I decided not to wear comfortable.
Danielle
Did you wear uncomfortable shoes?
Brooke
So I wore like a pair of heels that like, I forgot that the last time. They're. They're a unique pair because like they, they present as comfortable and they are comfortable except that I come home and I have massive blisters underneath my foot, so.
Danielle
Oh, that's new. It's like your foot.
Brooke
Yes, yes. It's so unique.
Danielle
And I had that.
Brooke
Completely forgot. Blocked that memory out that the last time I wore these sh. They did that and I was like, no, they're. They're comfortable. Cuz like I put them on.
Danielle
Like you don't get toe blisters. It's. Yes, you just forgot for sure.
Brooke
And it is so much walking.
Danielle
Like so much.
Brooke
Yeah, actually I was running. I did run at one point because I was running.
Danielle
One of your little runs.
Brooke
Because I had, you know, I had a call at 4 o', clock, I had to get home. 4. It was 3 o'. Clock. I was like, I'm not gonna make it. Like running back to the car. Cuz you're there all day at the open or whatever. Like if you do the daytime session or the nighttime session so long.
Danielle
It is such a long day. I've never actually had been one other time during the day. We both went during the day and I did love that actually.
Brooke
It's nice.
Danielle
Home by 4 o'. Clock.
Brooke
It's nice. It's just you. You start your day like you're like, rise in tennis.
Danielle
Like rise in tennis. You're so right. It's like breakfast in tennis.
Brooke
No, I had breakfast at the Open. Yeah, I had a breakfast burrito, but it was Just tortilla with potatoes. They were like, that's the vegetarian burrito. No egg. Huh.
Danielle
That's so.
Brooke
I think someone I fear may have been mistake. Oh, maybe. I don't know.
Danielle
That's really interesting.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
But I loved your outfit.
Brooke
Thank you. Noah's a cute little odd. I always, like, want to wear my odd muse dresses because they're so darling coded, but I need to be invited to, like, more tea parties and stuff. Like, so.
Danielle
I know. So you can wear the odd muse dress. Yes, I know. It's like, where can I wear all these darling dresses?
Brooke
They're so stunning and, like, you could wear them day to day, but, like, you know, they need, like, the moment.
Danielle
I know. We'll need to do a gals on the go tea event.
Brooke
Oh, I love that.
Danielle
And you can wear your dress, I'll wear mine.
Brooke
Oh, I love that.
Danielle
Oh, that's perfect.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
I'm like, hopefully.
Brooke
Yeah. But the open's fun. Happy open.
Danielle
Happy open season.

Danielle
My panic of the week was kind of funny. I was in the an Uber yesterday and I had to sneeze. So I sneezed. But usually if I'm in public when I sneeze, I, I let my so graphic but like I plug my nose but I let the mouth go. Kind of like I go achoo.
Brooke
How did you come up with that concept?
Danielle
Because I didn't want to like have loogies popping out but like yeah, out of my nose or I guess it's not a loogie. A booger.
Brooke
What's a loogie?
Danielle
I don't know. Actually I'm kind of grossed out I just said that word. But I'll plug my nose and go like this and like kind of go in my shoulder because I don't want to Be like a bird. But I do want to sneeze. I'm not gonna hold my sneeze.
Brooke
All right?
Danielle
I sneeze. The Uber driver immediately goes, ma', am, ma'. Am. And I was like, oh, my gosh. What? And he goes, never do that. And I thought he was like, never sneeze in my car. I'm like, this guy's getting a one star rating. Let me sneeze. He goes, no, never, ever, ever hold your sneeze.
Brooke
You.
Danielle
It sounded like my mom. He was like, you must let it go. No matter if it's 10 people, one person, you must sneeze. You could pop a vein.
Brooke
No, stop, stop. No, no, no.
Danielle
I was like, my guy. I have health anxiety.
Brooke
Like, don't tell me.
Danielle
Should not tell me that. But also, so helpful. I have noticed whenever I sneeze like, that my mom will be like, no, just like, same thing. But she's never said about pop the vein. She said, like, you need to, like, let it go. But I just don't know if I could just. When you sneeze in public, what are you doing?
Brooke
I let her rip. I do all of it.
Danielle
Like, at you.
Brooke
I never try. I mean, not open. Ah. Like, like, literally just.
Danielle
But, like, you'll turn to the side.
Brooke
I contain myself. But, like, I don't try to, like, hold the noise in or, like, do any sort. Like, I have a loud sneeze. Sometimes there's some flying objects.
Danielle
No, I mean, if that's okay with everyone, then I will start doing that, too, because I don't want to pop up.
Brooke
To be fair, there was a time period, coveted, where you didn't want to, like.
Danielle
You know, maybe I'm starved from that.
Brooke
Yeah. And I mean, do I love it when people, like, I. You have, like. Yeah, it sneezes into my arm or, like, if I have a tissue in my bag, I grab. Like. I do the best I can with what I have, you know, the best I can. Yes. I. I look at my resources and I say, what can I do with these? You know, like, if I could do something else. But I. You're not. You aren't supposed to hold it. I do. I've heard that.
Danielle
Yeah, I've heard that. But I thought it was just, like. I don't even know. I know some people will go it. And I'm like, no. Mouth closed and nose closed. Like, that's. That can't be good. But I think we do need to put a poll in our newsletter.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
How do you sneeze? And. But I'm. If I'm hearing from two people that that's okay, I'm just gonna let him rip, I guess.
Brooke
Was that the first interaction you had in the car? Like, were you talking?
Danielle
Oh, we were not speaking. So it was just like, I sneeze. And he goes, ma', am, do not do that.
Brooke
And you were like, oh, my God, I'm gonna get kicked out of the car for sneezing.
Danielle
I think he, like, felt bad after. Yeah, he was, like, trying to butter me up. But yeah, it was a little panicky. Panicked at the disco.
Brooke
Don't love that. Don't love someone who, like. And I have a few of these people in my life, like, you know, older family members and things like that, who they'll, like, freak you out with certain things. Like, they'll be like, oh, my God, don't like, crack your neck like that. You'll have a stroke, like, or something. I'm like, why? Why do we have to jump to that extreme? Like, that feels.
Danielle
It's so ridiculous.
Brooke
I was rolling my head in a circle. Like, I was stretching. Like, I was. You know what I'm saying?
Danielle
It's like if you were doing it literally all of the time, then it's like, okay, I've told you once already. I've told you twice now. I'm gonna tell you why I don't think you should do that. Like, you can, like, have a few offenses.
Brooke
Yes.
Danielle
But, like, you can't just be like, you're gonna have a heart attack if you do that. Yeah, I might spiral.
Brooke
No, that's scary. I definitely, like, I. I've gotten some fear based behaviors, I feel like, from Ben being in medical school. Like, I'm like, oh, my God, don't let that dog near you. It might bite you and you'll get rabies. Like, there's definitely, like, things that I'm like, why? I never used to think like that, but now I do.
Danielle
I want to know Ben's opinion on sneeze.
Brooke
These. Holding it in.
Danielle
Yeah. Or just like. But remind you, mind you, I don't.
Brooke
I go, like, what would your dad say?
Danielle
I don't know. I'm gonna ask him. Yes, we'll come back and let you guys know. Okay. So what's your glam on the go of the week?
Brooke
My glam on the go? I think that you're gonna really like this because I feel like you've been talking about them forever, which is road skincare. So I went home this past weekend and my mom was like, brooke, you got A job. You get to go through all the PR in the basement. Because, like, I've just. Especially when I was in my other apartments, I didn't have as much closet space. But now, like, like, I, I'm kind of past that age of, like. I mean, I still will store some things at home, but, like, I'm not doing that really anymore. Like, I, I, I really am.
Danielle
Like childhood home.
Brooke
Yes.
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke
Maybe some things in the closet, but, like, I'm not, like, just, you know, keeping, like, my fall decor there anymore. Like, I'm like, okay, I'll get a storage in the city. Like, I, I need to start like, adapting to, like, you know, I mean.
Danielle
You can do that, but also, like, if my parents live down the road. Oh.
Brooke
But they told me we're at maximum.
Danielle
Oh, okay. So it was like, they were like a subtle nudge.
Brooke
Look, you know, we're trying the best we can, but we were going through PR because I was like, okay, like, let me see what I'm gonna donate. Let me see what I'm gonna.
Danielle
Whatever.
Brooke
Just from probably the last time I moved, I think I just, like, sent a bunch of it home with them. So I've had this stuff, like, sitting in my basement for a year, and I found the full set of road skincare that at the time, it's gold. I literally, I didn't use it because I was acne prone. I was going on, like. And then I was going on Accutane. So I was like, I don't want to, like, introduce, like, like new things, whatever. But now I feel like it's the perfect time for me to start this. And I have to say, like, the way my skin is feeling, it feels like. I love how makeup wears on top of it. Like, it's just, It's.
Danielle
It's good, Good products, and it is very simple. Like.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
At least. Yeah. All of the. There's no, like, benzoyl peroxide in any other stuff. It's so simple. What are you liking the most? Are you using the whole thing?
Brooke
So the glazing milk, Full monty. The full Monty. My big three, the glazing milk, the serum, and the lotion cream.
Danielle
The barrier butter or the cream. Probably the cream.
Brooke
It's in a. It's not in a, like, container. Like, it's in a. I have to.
Danielle
Look like a squeezy tube.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
Okay. Yeah, I think it's the barrier butter, but actually, maybe not. I don't know.
Brooke
It was one of the OG products because, like, when they, like, literally had, like, the Set and the lip peptide.
Danielle
Yes. Okay, then it's not the berry butter. Yeah. The cream. Yeah, those are nice. The berry butter. I don't like putting makeup on top of that. That's like going to bed.
Brooke
But that's probably not it then, because I put makeup on top of this. And it's good.
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke
So it's good. I. Big fan. And also, like, I know everybody's already said this. Like, it's been said before that it looks good on your counter, yada, yada. But, like, it actually, like, I. I just had it out because I never did away. I was like, oh, it's like, not offensive to, like.
Danielle
I know it's very neutral. And are your bathroom counters gray, or.
Brooke
Am I making the bath? There's a gray and green, like, in the colors game.
Danielle
That's the best when it goes with the aesthetic. Like, it's really. It's not a. Yeah, yeah. It's a plus.
Brooke
It is, sure. Yeah. So I feel very late, like, that.
Danielle
You're like, three years late, but, like, you're always welcome.
Brooke
Yeah. Skincare is, like, very, like, you gotta hit it at the right time of your life, you know?
Danielle
No, I actually remember you saying, I don't want to try it right now. Like, I remember it was like a conversation.
Brooke
Yes. Because I was like, look, man, look. My acne situation, like, it's very finicky. And, like, I knew the products that worked. So I was like, I don't want to introduce anything else but this. Like, I agree with what you're saying. It's very neutral. Very.
Danielle
Like, I know you could.
Brooke
I'm. I'm gonna start adding in a retinol again because, like, I wanted to wait a few months after Accutane to do that. But, like, I feel like I could definitely do that with this.
Danielle
I think so. It's very simple. Kind of reminds me of skin fix. Like, just very simple. Like barrier repairing.
Brooke
Yeah. Lazy.
Danielle
Goodness. Goodness.
Brooke
Yes. Cool. How about you?
Danielle
Mine is a blush. It's the Summer Fridays blush. Butter balm hydrating cream blush. That was a mouthful. Have you tried it?
Brooke
I'm sure you got.
Danielle
No, it's just like, a little square, and they have tons of cream blushes, but I just. It's so pigmented, but not, like, too pigmented.
Brooke
I see.
Danielle
So I love it. And it blends really nicely. Also, the word, like, blush, butter balm, like, I'm in, you know, it's hydrating and it really looks like that when you put it on your skin. I hate when I put creams on top of other creams and they sometimes they like, won't blend, right?
Brooke
Yes.
Danielle
And I have it in the color dusty rose. And I.
Brooke
Is that what's on today?
Danielle
That's what's on today.
Brooke
It's gorge.
Danielle
I love a dusty rose. Like whenever a makeup artist is like, what do you want on your lips? I always say, like, a dusty rose. I don't know.
Brooke
That's good.
Danielle
That's what this is literally called.
Brooke
So dusty rose.
Danielle
So that's that. Do you have anything else to talk about? And before we.
Brooke
Oh, no.
Danielle
Dive into our doom.
Brooke
Yeah, there. There we go. Future so bright. Can't see the haters.
Danielle
Future so bright. I don't even know. No, we're are. I'm excited to read these. Oh, my God. The first one.
Brooke
We're hurting our own feelings today. But if you do so feel inclined and you want to be nice, you know, go. You can go. Leave us a nice review or leave us a productive review because, you know, that's like, that's the good thing.
Danielle
We are gonna start, like, I'm gonna be so for real with you guys. Like, we were not reading the reviews because they hurt our feelings. And we were like, you know what? We. It. We want to hear from you guys. And we always read the comments and everything, but I think some people like to go anonymous and take it to the reviews. So we're gonna start having, you know, buffering through those every few months and taking a look and like, making sure, like, we want this to be a place for you guys, but just hope you guys understand, like, we also have to protect our feelings.
Brooke
Totally.
Danielle
So.
Brooke
No, totally. I mean, I think that there's a fine line between like, where you get your feedback from. Right? Like, it's like, you know, is it a productive place or is it a like, self harm almost? Because sometimes it's like literally self harm behavior. Like, I'm like, I don't. I feel like I'm like hurting my.
Danielle
You know, 100 it is. It's definitely considered that at times.
Brooke
My therapist would probably think so too.
Danielle
Yeah, our therapists are probably like, why are they doing.
Brooke
Yeah, they're like, no, no, no, no.
Danielle
We're going backwards on the work we've done.
Brooke
Oh, my God. The positive affirmations.
Danielle
Okay, should we start with like, the bad ones?
Brooke
Yeah. Or we could just some of these. Like, you have to, like, you have to let them.
Danielle
You have to laugh, but you have to laugh or else don't cry.
Brooke
Yeah. I love that. The, the. There's like A headline on, like, Apple. I know they the title. You have to. They got creative with these. Hashtag blocked. Rated 1 star influencers who block anyone and everyone who makes a comment outside of singing their praises. Immature, out of touch boring. Would rather listen to a toddler chewing in my right ear and an old man chewing in my left. Oh, my gosh. She got creative.
Danielle
Wow.
Brooke
On a 247 loop. Then contribute to their podcast, social media, or YouTube income anymore. @ least they can't block and delete the real feedback here.
Danielle
That is so.
Brooke
I love. I love a creative writing.
Danielle
I know. Like, thank you for taking the time.
Brooke
No, she was so toddler chewing right here. Old man chewing left also, like, that's.
Danielle
So mean to toddler. Like, are they bad? Yeah. So you hate babies. Like, I actually think other people sound worse chewing, like, like my mom.
Brooke
That's really funny. This is definitely not. I wouldn't call this one productive because I just feel. I mean, they're saying that they're offended that we block anyone, which we don't block anyone.
Danielle
They have to have a couple offenses.
Brooke
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Danielle
And like, it's our page. So. Yeah. Take it to the reviews if you're gonna be upset. Like, you clearly hurt our feelings.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
Or Brooke was maybe doing it for insurance.
Brooke
A few other people are doing this now.
Danielle
No, it's not. And I'm trying to do it when it feel like I see like they're causing trouble or if they're replying to other people being meanie mobini. Like, we won't have that.
Brooke
Totally. Totally. That's really funny though. But I would say that we're. I would say that we're not boring.
Danielle
We're a lot. Actually, we're quite the opposite. That's the thing.
Brooke
So. So, so more on that to come. So.
Danielle
Yeah, the gals are delusional. Rated one star. The gals are not true gals on the go. They are delusional. I actually used to like this podcast, but it's not relatable anymore. Dan thinks she is a model. Do I? And she has zero style. Her outfits hideous. Brooke hardly uploads anymore. Oh, sorry to see this part. I hope one day they become normal and get nine to five jobs like real human beings.
Brooke
No. Have you ever heard of depression, babe? That's. You know, some people are going through some. Okay. Also, like, Danielle thinks I don't know the model. Yeah, I know one.
Danielle
I've never. I've never claimed to be a model.
Brooke
When have you ever, ever nosed as a model?
Danielle
Literally not ever have I ever thought I was a model. You can be upset at my style. That is so fair. Like, I'm literally in the baggiest outfit known to man. But I don't think I'm a model.
Brooke
I'm confused why that feedback would be left on the podcast. Review is my thing.
Danielle
Take it over to me. Take it over to my associate at Danielle Carolyn llc.
Brooke
Like, no, it just feels, like, inappropriate to leave that here. Like, it's like, that's where she's like, wait, so true.
Danielle
This isn't podcast feedback. Actually, Brooke hardly uploads anymore. That is not.
Brooke
No, they're really. They're just. They just don't like the Galaxy gals.
Danielle
They just don't like the gals collectively.
Brooke
They're like, these are my. They have, like, a list like, like, Danielle column and, like, a Brooke column.
Danielle
And it's like, pros, cons.
Brooke
No, I mean, we could have a whole debrief on, like, the relatable conversation. Like, the, like, relatable, like, thing. Because I feel like that's a big topic in, like, the influencer world these days, right? Is like, you know, our influencers even. Really? Really? But, like, no, I mean, guys, we wake up every day and, like, you know, do whatever the we want. Like, obviously, that's not, like, yeah, we so privileged. Yeah. 100. I wouldn't say that. That's like, you, too, should live like us.
Danielle
Like, you know, we're not trying. I. I feel like in this, like, I do think we're relatable in the sense of, like, expressing our feelings about totally relationships and friendships. And, like, if we ever say or have claimed to be relatable, like, that's what we're talking about. Like, let us be definitely. Like, we are so lucky that we can. Every night when we go to bed, we can decide what time we want to wake up in the morning. I think about that all the time, like, every morning. Ryan is 6:45. And I feel so blessed that I can be, like, I'm gonna do seven, you know, or whatever it is. So we fully acknowledge that. I hands.
Brooke
I surrender to you.
Danielle
Got me? Yeah, Officer. These two right here.
Brooke
No, that's a whole. Like, I could go and, like, I need to write, like, a dissertation, like, thesis. I feel like, on that idea too, because I do feel the same. I think I was doing, like, a call yesterday about. About a panel that I'm doing, and they were like, you know, know, talking about how they're like, oh, people like you because you're like, relatable. And I like want to identify with that, but I don't because I'm like, I'm not, but like, I am in the sense that like I'm gonna tell you about, you know, my acne struggles. Yeah, we talk about mental health. We talk about, yes. Everything we're going through. And I agree with what you're saying. Like, that's the relatable part of us. I feel not.
Danielle
I will stand firm on that. But I won't say that our lives are relatable literally at all. So.
Brooke
No, no, absolutely not. Neither are celebrities though.
Danielle
Neither are celebrities.
Brooke
You know, that's what I'm saying. I love Taylor Swift. My girl has a 10 karat rock on her finger. Like, unfortunately, like, I'm not there with pitchforks. Like, that's cool and unusual. Like, you know what I mean?

Seriously, Google Gemini is it.
Danielle
Okay? This one is just short and swept. Simple. Some of these will just read. You know, they're. Because they're just funny big. Yikes. Is the title rated one star. All I have to say is yikes.
Brooke
Yikes.
Danielle
That's like, yeah, yikes. I hate that word. But whatever.
Brooke
I. I think I used to be more offended by that word and now, like, I like it used to be like, oh, yikes. And now it's kind of like almost. Almost comical.
Danielle
It's like, yikes. Like, yikes. Yikes.
Brooke
Yeah. Oh, gosh. This is the. The thing. It's a lot of the boring feedback. So I don't know. I mean, are we too much or are we boring? Because we have to pick a lane, apparently, like, save yourself. Save yourself.
Danielle
Save yourself.
Brooke
This podcast has gotten so boring with the same topics and conversations every week.
Danielle
Okay.
Brooke
We actually do discuss this internally.
Danielle
Yeah.
Brooke
@ gals HQ a lot.
Danielle
Yeah. Let's talk about it.
Brooke
Let's talk about it.
Danielle
Let's have an open discourse. We go back and forth. We have guests on. People aren't happy with us having guests. We do a life chat. People want a topic. We do a topic. People wish it was just us talking about our life.
Brooke
I. I agree. I feel it's impossible to please all. So I think that we went back to the root of it and kind of were like, how did we start this podcast? And it was really started on us to literally just yapping.
Danielle
Yeah, literally.
Brooke
I remember we were talking about, like, how, like, people send me. I. I remember telling a story in, like, one of the first episodes on how I got sent a nude on Snapchat from, like, that's literally, like, at the fundamental core, like, it's just us two being silly and stupid. Like.
Danielle
Yeah, it's just us talking about different things that are going in our life, tying it into things that are maybe happening in the world or having on.
Brooke
People that, like, are meaningful and important.
Danielle
Like, characters in our life or people that we've talked about, talked about and love anytime that we think it could provide value in the sense of entertainment.
Brooke
Yes. I think that we've tried. We've definitely, like, tried the whole, like, you know, productive hacks and whatever. Like, and I think it took us maybe a little bit to, like, find our sort of footing. And I feel like this is where we landed. And it's a mix of, like, where people give us feedback and they say that they, like. But also, at the end of the day, like, we're too creatives. Like, we have to do what we want to do.
Danielle
Yeah. And I'm gonna shout out another podcast. We always talk about them. Giggly squad. Yeah. They are such an amazing podcast. Their podcast. They, like, don't do guests at all. And they. Which we actually do like having guests on sometimes. So you're not going to not have guests from us, but, like, they never have guests and they just talk about their life.
Brooke
Yeah, they just get.
Danielle
And people love them and we love them, and that's kind of like, not. We're not trying to copy them. We've just always been the same way, so totally. If you love them, we're the same vibe.
Brooke
Yeah, totally. I mean, maybe, like, you guys can definitely give your feedback on YouTube, Instagram, whatever. Leave us a comment. Let us know if you would be interested in those more topical episodes. But to be honest, I feel that. I think that we both speak on behalf of my associate and I. I think that we feel that it's more fun for us when we get to just sort of yap 100%.
Danielle
And sometimes if it's like, we love doing our annual Thanksgiving episode, we love doing, like, a fall favorites. Like, we just like doing things that feel organic to us at the end of the day. We have never dreaded coming to the podcast, and we don't want it to ever be like that.
Brooke
I completely Agree.
Danielle
I think that's what I said internally. We're like, we want to go and be excited to record, which we are because we do it how we want.
Brooke
I completely agree. I think so. Just sharing totally. Because I think that we get advice then on, like, on business things. And it's like, you could do it better and make more money this way. And it's like, at the root of it, though, like, we have fun when we do this. Like, it really is fun for us to like. I. This is like, one of the most fun parts of my job.
Danielle
It's the most fun of my week. Like, the most fun part of my week. We're just talking.
Brooke
I know.
Danielle
So best. So that way we're open to feedback. But if you like. Okay, so you. Do you want us to have topics like. I just can't like. It's just hard because obviously we understand that one person's gonna have a different preference than the other. So we just need to see what the general. But that's also why we switch it up every now and then, too. We're trying to cater to everyone while still staying true to us.
Brooke
Us.
Danielle
This one's great. My last two brain cells talking to each other. Rated one star. I feel dumber after listening to this. Honestly. Fair. Like, we're not here to teach you anything.
Brooke
No, we actually said that that's almost the goal.
Danielle
It's kind of brain rock content. Like, that's what we're here for. So I'm actually.
Brooke
We've achieved our goal 100%. No, 100%. I think that we got one here that says it kind of is like the same theme, but I actually really like this one. It's a bit the. It's the subject line. Undecided colon. It's a bit problematic, but it's fun. Rated 3 stars.
Danielle
I saw this one.
Brooke
I like this podcast because it's fun, carefree, kind of mindless, which is nice. It's a break from what I need on, which is It's a break from reality, which I need. On a weekly basis. They also share advice on beauty, fashion, social relationships, which I enjoy listening to overall, if you're looking for intelligent conversation, this podcast is probably not for you. I think it's a good podcast podcast and serves a purpose in our oversaturated world of social media. As a fellow UGA alum, I enjoy the podcast as well as being part of their journeys as influencers.
Danielle
She seems very decided that she likes.
Brooke
Us, but no, I think. And I think, like, that is the point Like, I think that it's helpful and it helps us kind of like carve out our little thing, which is like, that's the vibe. It's fun, but it's problematic. I don't know. Undecided problem. Yeah, like, that doesn't sound like a problem to me.
Danielle
No, it sounds perfect. Like, she likes that it's a mindless podcast, but she's not going to learn anything, which is fine. So she's just letting other people know.
Brooke
She's letting every warning, warning.
Danielle
Save yourself if you're looking for stupider.
Brooke
But it's, it's silly.
Danielle
You might have two brain cells talking to each other. The last two brain cells, mindless and annoying. Rated 2 stars. I do enjoy following these two on Insta and seeing their outfits and day to day lines. But we do need an hour. But do we need an hour plus recap of their weekend as a podcast episode? It's so dull and boring. These girls could be doing so much better. Please read your reviews. We're reading them.
Brooke
We're reading them. But what does that mean that we could do better then, like, what do.
Danielle
You, like, give up? I hate when people don't provide a solution.
Brooke
I look, I'm look, I'm gonna say, like what I perceive my feedback to be that I talk over. Because I was listening to the bros episode and I was literally cringing at myself. Like, oh my God, shut the up.
Danielle
We were all talking over each other.
Brooke
I know it was chaotic, but like, we were all. It was exciting though. We had fun.
Danielle
I. Any messages about it? I don't know.
Brooke
Well, that's what happens when you get four yappers in a room. Like, we're both, we're all, all of us were very chatty, 100%. But I, I catch myself talking over people literally all the time. We have some episodes coming up with guests and I just know it was a lot of people and it was chaotic. So I feel like, yeah, it's valuable feedback. You know, we could work on it. Something like, even the topics, like, that's valuable feedback. But when you just say like these, some of them are like, they're beyond hope.
Danielle
Like, just, just quit wire. Yeah, those always crack me up. Like, they should end the podcast. Like, no, there actually thousands and thousands of thousands of people that listen. So that would be. We'd be doing a disservice and you.
Brooke
Could just stop listening.
Danielle
That's the thing.
Brooke
Like, there's so many people that I follow. I'm sure you too, that you quote, used to follow Them on social media.
Danielle
Like, oh, that's people's favorite line when they see us.
Brooke
Like, I. Oh, I, you know, I used to follow you completely. Completely. Okay. Actually, like, come back anytime. You know, sometimes different creators serve different purposes in your life. I feel like the time too. Like, you know, know I've had to stop at certain times of certain people and then I come back around two years later, I'm like, I'm healed.
Danielle
Stop with the weird voices. Rated one star. For the love of God, please stop talking in your weird voices and grow out of the I'm in my era. It's insufferable. I can't, can't be doing that.
Brooke
Those are fun, those voices. That's real feedback though.
Danielle
You think, oh my God.
Brooke
But it depends. Like, is that just one person saying, like, I need to know, like, how many people are behind them?
Danielle
Right. Like, is it you and there's thumbs up, no reviews. No.
Brooke
Is it you and 100 others or is it just you?
Danielle
Yeah, like, I definitely would like to know that because I do like these weird, like me voices. Yeah, I'm in my blank era. I know. I say that literally all of the time, so I'll watch my mouth.
Brooke
We're working on that. Okay. A lot of these people, not this one subject line, not good. That's Sunday week.
Danielle
Oh my God.
Brooke
How are they gals on the go? And there are a lot of how are you they gals on the go. I don't understand it because we named the fucking podcast five years ago or seven. Seven years ago. Seven years ago.
Danielle
Four score and seven years ago. Our founding gals.
Brooke
Our founding gals were two young, bright eyed and bushy tailed college students. They lived a very different life, you know.
Danielle
Yeah. But I do feel we're still on the go.
Brooke
I feel that we're on the go.
Danielle
In the sense of like in a different way.
Brooke
I'm in a different city every night kind of vibe. Like, you know, people in our life are like, like, I can't keep up like with that type of thing.
Danielle
Right. But we're not. Correct. We are not going to class anymore and then going on a trip over the weekend and then it's game day and then, you know, no, we're not. But I do feel that the name still stands. When we were doing our rebrand, we thought about being just gals, like the podcast being gals or changing the name. And we were like, no, we're gals on the motherfucking go.
Brooke
And like, it's, it is us, like to Our core. And, you know, like, does gals on the go mean you have to be peak productivity? Like, every second of every day, something slotted in, like, absolutely not.
Danielle
But, like, no, that's not.
Brooke
I actually don't even think we're lying about it. Like, I almost don't even think, like, we're like, you know, I feel like we come on here and we're like, I'm so busy. Like, you know, like, it's. It's a joke.
Danielle
I know. Like, we tried, you know, so. But it is funny seeing those hard. Listen. Rated one star. Not good. Hard.
Brooke
Love the subjects. So funny.
Danielle
This is just hard to listen to. I feel like the podcast had potential, but I can't make it through.
Brooke
It had.
Danielle
I wonder what the potential.
Brooke
Seven years ago, there was some hope.
Danielle
There was hope. And now who needs it? Oh, wait, I saw one that was like, honestly, so mean. But, like, I want to talk about it.
Brooke
Oh, God.
Danielle
Something about me. It was something about. I can't find it in this moment, but it was about me. Oh. Oh, shoot. I can't find it. It's about how I always agree with you.
Brooke
Oh, this. It's the subject line. The last brain cell.
Danielle
Can you read it? I couldn't find it.
Brooke
I wonder what this podcast could be. If Danielle could have put that last brain cell to war, that last one to good use, and actually have a conversation and not just agree with Brooke. Like, have your own opinion and. Jesus. It's okay if you girls don't have the same opinion as others.
Danielle
Jesus.
Brooke
I don't feel.
Danielle
Do you think I agree with you on everything?
Brooke
I think that we're both agreeable. I think that we both agree with each other.
Danielle
We're very close.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
Very similar.
Brooke
And I think that, as best friends do, like, we always say that we're always going to, like, back each other up and justify for the other person. I think that we both do this for many of the people in our life. You know, your friend calls you and they're like, you know, I had a tough day. It's like, you're like, no, but you're amazing. You're the best. You're always going to take your friend's side. And it's not that we don't disagree or not.
Danielle
Not. We definitely disagree about things and we talk. I guess a lot of it's more like ex. Like, internally about, like, stuff that, like, planning or for the podcast, like, oh, I think we should do this. Like, I guess it's something we wouldn't talk about in the podcast.
Brooke
But no, but it's clear, though. The way that we run our days even is different in my opinion. Like, I feel like we often say, like, I'm like, look, I need rest time. Like, you know, and you're more go, go, go. You're more of a gal on the go. I'm more of a depressed gal on the go. Like, there's a difference.
Danielle
But. But I just thought that was so interesting, and I. I'm gonna note that for future. If I. During the podcast, I don't.
Brooke
Now you're gonna, like, actively disagree.
Danielle
Yeah, that's the thing.
Brooke
I feel like, counter opinion.
Danielle
Yeah, I know. Just for, like, fun. Because I can. But just.
Brooke
I hate that friend, though. That's like a contrarian, though, that has.
Danielle
To just have a different opinion. I hate that, too.
Brooke
So I'm like, yeah, like, when everybody's like, oh, you know, I'm so excited for Friday. Well, yeah, Saturday is better. Like, it's like, oh, all right. I think that we all like the weekend.
Danielle
Yeah, we all like the weekend. Like, come on. Oh, this one's nice. Love the gals. It's super fun. It's awesome for easy listening. And honestly, they make me laugh often with their stories. If this podcast isn't for you, then it isn't for you. Go find a niche podcast, whatever you're looking for.
Brooke
Oh, that's so nice. Thank you. Wow, that's lovely subject line. Why am I even here? Rated five stars.
Danielle
Oh. Oh. Plot twist.
Brooke
I'm in my 40s. I've never even been to New York. I'm clearly a woman on the stage day. I certainly can't afford the Rex, let alone the Nantucket trips. But this is one of my favorite podcasts. I actively look forward to each episode and need to know what's going on this week. P.S. to whoever stole Danielle's camera, send her the photos. That was your birthday party two years ago.
Danielle
Oh, that can't. Oh, my God.
Brooke
That. You see, like, tvt. Wow, that is a. That is a nice woman on the stay. And I agree on the stay.
Danielle
Women on the go. And that was totally her doing a callback to that. That's really awesome.
Brooke
This.
Danielle
This comment contradicts everything rated 1 star. Please consider putting more creativity in the show. When the f. When they first started in college, it was fun hearing their experiences in banter, but now she. They don't want to hear our experiences. Everything is contradictory.
Brooke
I. I think that, you know, they're projecting what they want to hear in a podcast, but be the Podcast you wish to see in the world is.
Danielle
My thing, you know, like, no, that's the thing. Like, this is the podcast. This is the type of podcast I'm to trying. Trying to listen to.
Brooke
And I do have my, like, smart people listens then from time to time, like, I feel like I have you, like, the.
Danielle
I have one brain cell, though.
Brooke
So you listen to bouncing around.
Danielle
It's bouncing around. I have to, like, catch it when I need to lock in. No.
Brooke
Oh, my gosh. No, I. I, like, I think that I have my content that I engage with when I'm like, I want to learn, and then I have my content that I'm like, you know, I want to rot.
Danielle
Yeah, there's different content for different moods. Like, sometimes I want to listen to someone talk about their wellness morning thing. Other times I don't want to hear that. I want to hear about pop culture. Like, it just depends on the day. So obviously you can listen to us when you're in the mood. That's fine too. But I think weekly is great. I do.
Brooke
We're just defending ourselves.
Danielle
I know. I was trying so hard not to.
Brooke
No. But, like, I understand the validity. This person says, like, gals on the go, question mark, what do they actually do? It would be interesting to have guests that actually contribute to society, like nurses, lawyers, doctors. I completely agree. And we always say that those are the people who run our country, like, and do way, way, way more than we are do. However, if. If this was a show where we just sat and interviewed lawyers and doctors, you guys would want to die. Like, I'm just gonna be honest, that, like, you would hate it.
Danielle
You would hate your life. I also think that because we're just not those interviewers.
Brooke
We're just not the we.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
It's.
Brooke
It's hard to be an interviewer. Like, if you're good at it, I. I implore you to start a podcast doing it because it's a skill.
Danielle
It's very scary, honestly.
Brooke
If I had to sit down with a lawyer and ask them questions about, like, being a lawyer right now, like, I think I would have to take a beta blocker. Never taken one. But like, that to me, like, I wouldn't even know where to begin, you know?
Danielle
And, like, we would need to do so much research when someone else who's already knowledgeable on it could ask some lovely questions.
Brooke
Totally.
Danielle
It would be perfect. Should we do, like, one more? Maybe like a good one, and then.
Brooke
Yeah, we can end with some positivity, you know, Spread. Spread kindness.
Danielle
Spread kindness.
Brooke
Spread lots of kindness. You know, people say it's chit, chatty and fun. People say that they look forward to it. It reminds them of the conversations they have with their friends. Oh, they love this subject line. Love the girl talk. I tune in and listen to something easy and light. They give the best. Daniel and Brooke give the best product recommendations that I enjoy hearing. Their take on pop culture, as well as how they're navigating life in their 20s. That sounds like a bot wrote it. Like, they're, like, defending us like, AI.
Danielle
It's a bot that we put in there. Get in there. I work a 9 to 5 and I have an hour commute to work, so I love putting on their podcast while I drive, drive. And Brooke and Danielle's co host is perfect because they piggyback off of each other's thoughts so well. And I can genuinely tell their best friends. Love y'. All. I love you.
Brooke
That was a really nice comment. That was really.
Danielle
And the title was one of my faves in my podcast rotation.
Brooke
Five stars Comfort Podcast. You know, like, there definitely are, like, you know, some. Some lovely.
Danielle
And we know there's so many of you guys out there that love the podcast. And, like, obviously, we can't wait to meet so many of you guys at our community event. So sign up for that down below and we will continue to filter through these and make sure that we're making this the best podcast for you and the best podcast for us, too, because we want to have.
Brooke
I think that that's the balance we need to strike is, like, you know, that we're still happy and that for us, it's not. It's still fun. Because I think that that's why we've been doing it for so long. I don't think we would have kept up with doing it for seven years if it wasn't, like, actually, like, a highlight of our week. Fun, etc.
Danielle
It's not a main income for Brooke and I. Like, it's a big one, but, like, it's not our biggest.
Brooke
No, definitely not. I think that, like, also the reason why, like, we do it is because it's fun.
Danielle
Like, we literally just do it for fun.
Brooke
Cycle of yes.
Danielle
And that we care so much.
Brooke
So we have to combine what everybody wants with what we want and, you know, we'll come to look. That's. That's the journey of the gals on the go podcast people.
Danielle
That is. And thank you guys for riding along with us. We love you so much. Let us know if you loved this video. I think it'd be funny for us to do. It'd be scary also. But like reading your assumptions about us. I think we did one, like, years ago.
Brooke
Yeah.
Danielle
Could be fun. Let us know if you guys want to see that. Get those assumptions ready, I'm sure. Yeah.
Brooke
I've watched some other people's videos of those, and they. People are brutal.
Danielle
Yeah. Might have to filter through those.
Brooke
Yeah. Yeah.
Danielle
But we love doing stuff like this and we're always down for new video ideas that you. Video ideas?
Brooke
Yeah. You're on YouTube brain.
Danielle
I know. I'm in YouTube brain right now. But. But we love you guys so much. Thanks so much for listening. Rate us 5 stars. 4 stars. Even if you're feeling it.
Brooke
Yeah, I mean, we'll take it. Look, look, look.
Danielle
We'll take what we can get. And we'll see you guys next week for another episode. Bye.
Brooke

Hosted by Brooke Miccio & Danielle Carolan
In this light-hearted and self-aware episode, Brooke and Danielle dive head-first into the mixed bag of reviews left on their podcast. With a blend of vulnerability and humor, they read out (often unfiltered and sometimes outright mean) listener reviews, respond to the feedback (both constructive and brutal), and discuss the broader challenges of being public figures online. The episode also contains updates on their personal lives, a big announcement about an in-person event, and their signature "panic of the week" and "glam on the go" segments—all wrapped up with their trademark best-friend banter.

The episode emphasizes the fluid nature of podcasting—as co-hosts and friends, they want their show to feel like a fun, safe space, not a chore, and recognize they can’t please everyone. Heartfelt positive reviews and their plans for more community engagement round off the episode on an upbeat note.
