B
Hey guys, what's up? Welcome back to Gals on the Go podcast.
A
It's Brooke and Danielle, and we're here today to do a really fun spicy, if you will, Q A. Spicy Q A.
B
It's been a minute.
A
Yeah, it's been a min. Welcome back to Gals in the Go. I hope you guys all had an amazing Thanksgiving and the holiday. Now we can like really listen to Christmas music and like, like, it's okay.
B
Yeah, yeah, you've been.
A
But like light, like light Christmas music. Like really just like Christmas coffee house in the morning. Like, you know, have you at all?
B
Not really. I'm decorating. Well, we're recording this a little bit early, so like, obviously now I will be in the spirit. But that's like my week of Thanksgiving plan.
A
Yeah.
B
Like, is like, that's when I'm gonna start. That's usually when I start. I feel like right after Thanksgiving. I mean, like, duh, like then you're full fledged. But I feel like that's, you know, trying to create those new traditions.
A
No, for sure. Wait, so will you be like, at your apartment all.
B
Yeah, yeah. All the time. Yeah. So I'm gonna do some decorating and.
A
That'S the perfect time to do it. Like right before things. I would do that.
B
Yeah. You know.
A
Well, I guess I could.
B
New York moment.
A
That'll be so nice.
B
Yeah, we're gonna make it work. I feel so biz today. I wore a button down. I literally never wear button downs because I have big boobs and I feel like I'm like doing like risky biz. Like a costume or something.
A
No, I was actually gonna say I love your crisp white Shirt.
B
Thank you so much.
A
It's really. I walked in, I was like, oh, cuz Brooke text me. She's like, go in sweater and jeans. Bad weather. I'm like, perfect. Sweater and jeans. I walk in, she looks so polished.
B
Well, I. I guess I didn't feel good in it and jeans, but, you know, I was like going to wear like a skirt and stuff. But then I feels like a lot.
A
Of work on a rainy day.
B
Tights. Like, I'm like, oh, that's like, you.
A
Know, a whole tights when it's raining.
B
Like, it doesn't. No, no, no. Like tight. No, because I didn't want to wear like, rain boots with my time. Like, it.
A
It wasn't going to work. I. I don't hate that. I haven't seen it done. But like, I don't. I don't hate it.
B
You have like Chanel rain boots, though. Like, I have like, I have like work or like Chernobyl.
A
They're like, special.
B
I tried to find ones that I really like. They're definitely like. They look more like a garden type of rain boot than like a. They're cool.
A
I feel like I remember liking them.
B
No, I love them. Yeah, but I don't know if they're.
A
Like, with the tights. Okay. Yes, understood.
B
You know what I'm saying? Like, they're not.
A
We guys. I don't even know if anyone would care, but we had the craziest, craziest thing happened to us the other day. I'm going to call it tight skate. Tight skate, guys. So weird. So Brooke and I had a meeting. Yeah, we're really cool.
B
Meetings.
A
Meetings.
B
Yeah, we've had meetings before.
A
We've had meetings. Yep. And we were at Hudson Yards, which is like a really lovely mall if you're in New York in December, which I feel like a lot of our followers are, or if you live here, obviously you have to go to the Hudson Yards mall because it is so decorated for the holidays. It is absolutely stunning. And they blast Christmas music. And they have really good stores. I feel like.
B
Yeah, I. We were saying that. I was saying if I were to make a luxury purchase, I would want to go there. They have like every luxury store, but then they also have like, Lululemon, Aloe, Caledonia.
A
So that brings us to Caledonia. So then we're walking by and I'm like, wait, Brooke, do you mind if we run in really quick? I placed like a fat order on Calzedonia. I was like, I want the burgundy tights. I want the brown. I want the Black, like buy two get one free. I was like, this is amazing. And then the other day, I was like, my tights still haven't arrived. So I went to go look for the order confirmation and there was nothing. And I was like, I know. But then I'm telling Brooke, I'm like, you what? You know when you're like, placing an order in bed at night and you're like, maybe I didn't press pet. You know, whatever. So Brooke was like, no problem. I just placed an order. So, like, I'm good because you had just done it as well. So I was like, okay, let's go in. So I'm in there, I'm getting my tights. Then Brooke goes, oh.
B
I was like, oh, my gosh. I placed an order on that website too. And then I checked my to find the order history and I was like, I, I, I. There's literally no proof, but there is a trace of me making an account. So that's why I was weird, because.
A
You know, you did something. Like, I know I did it because.
B
Why would I have signed up for an account if I didn't make a purchase? Like, I wouldn't have just gone on. And now just making accounts on all these websites, it's so random.
A
Like. Yeah. And I guess I must have continued as guest. Yeah.
B
I don't know what prompted me to do that.
A
It's a good one to make an account for. Well, maybe not though, because then Brooke realizes she doesn't have her order either, and I'm like, this is now weird.
B
Yeah. They need to get it together. I'm sure that if it was. If it happened to both of us. Not the same day.
A
Yeah.
B
I don't even think it was. Over the course of like a few.
A
Days, the last couple weeks, they've been.
B
Like, missing orders, they've been missing, Missing ops.
A
Yeah. So I gotta tell you, as much as we love Calcedonia, like, I don't know that I would place an order online right now. No, but in to missimi. I do. I have placed an order and I. It came, so I think it did. This too shall come. So Calzedonia, for some reason, I just thought that was that like, made me feel so validated because I was like, I swear I placed the order. Yeah. So then. So you realize that, like, as we're walking out of the store, and I was like, okay, well, let's go back. Let's get your tights too. Great.
B
It was great, honestly. Once again, cuz I thought that these stores were so expensive I've never shopped, like, Intimiss Calzedonia until this year. I feel like I always used to see them, like, in the mom be like, that's expensive. Like, but they're the best prices on tights I've found that are, like, great.
A
Deal, that are good quality.
B
Not going to rip on the first use.
A
Yeah, they are better, I think, than the sheer text tights.
B
Wow.
A
I bought the sheer tykes.
B
Sh.
A
Sheer tikes.
B
Sorry.
A
I'm still getting used to my invisalign. The sheer text tights, and they ripped. I couldn't even wear them out.
B
Yeah, so I've tried those too. I feel like it's. You have to be so careful, and.
A
I don't love that because the long nails don't help.
B
They don't help. And, like, you know, one thing snags, and then it's game over. Which I understand that, but, like, yeah, I don't want to have to, like, be, like, cautious when I'm out and about. Like, that's not. I, like, live your life to be like. I have to make sure.
A
Truly, it really is tight season, though. It is, and I'm loving it. Tight gets you tights. Okay, well, we have so many questions. So many questions to answer. Thank you guys so much. If you don't follow the gals on the Go podcast, Instagram, like, highly suggest doing that, because that's how you can be included in something like this. We just post a little story with the question box. You guys asked some really fun questions. We just felt like it was due.
B
We. Ren was due.
A
I was literally gonna say it was time to do it.
B
This was time to do a Q and A. I haven't done, like, a personal Q A in a while. Yeah.
A
Yeah.
B
I Not sourcing questions at this time, but on the podcast, it's okay.
A
Yeah, no, it was not even on purpose. I just haven't thought to do it. So this was when you texted. I was like, yeah, let's do a freaking Q and A.
B
Let's.
A
Let's just freaking do it.
B
Let's just do it. And, you know, we're gals 2.0. We're gals wanting to, you know, share more. I had that realization again. I was like, I'm literally 28. I'm almost 30. Like, no one's getting me in trouble. Like, no one's. Like, I feel like I still have that fear of, like, it's still, like.
A
From college and high school. Totally.
B
Like, don't say that publicly or, like, you know, you shouldn't really say. It's like, why?
A
Literally, why not? Like, that's why people listen and follow us because we tell them what's in our head at all time. Literally all the time.
B
All the time. And I'm like, we're both adult grown women. So, like, we're women. Women on the go.
A
We are never forget when we did, we tried to do an April Fool's prank to rebrand as women on the go. And people, like, thought that was too close. It was too close.
B
April Fool's pranks have to be, like, slightly out of the realm of possibility.
A
Otherw people are like, yeah, we definitely need to, like, plan ahead. Like, we already have our Halloween costumes for next year. We need to plan a good April Fools.
B
And we're trying to get ahead on, like, Galentine's and stuff. You know, we're really, like, the gals are, like, thinking ahead.
A
The gals are thinking ahead. They're having yearly meetings. Or was it not yearly new year meetings? I don't even.
B
Planning. Planning.
A
Let's start. Fun. Last text you sent to Ben and Ryan. No. No cheating.
B
You're gonna literally roast me so bad for this one. I go, I'm gonna be a star. Exclamation point.
A
Was it, like, about coming to the podcast?
B
It was about my tick tock that's doing well. And because yesterday I went to this grocery store, we felt.
A
I just watched it.
B
I was like, I. You know when you have that feeling? I'm like, this is gonna do well.
A
And gonna be a story.
B
It's starting to pick up now. So I was like, it's hitting. And he's like, good job. And I said, I'm gonna be a star. Obviously it's a joke, but, like, now.
A
I seem like, that's really cool. No, Brooke, I would say something like that too. Like, I'm a star. Like, that's. You're just so mushy with that. It's just so cute. Like, I don't see the side of you.
B
It's so like, don't say that to anyone else. I'm like, I. I don't know.
A
Mine is so boring. One way home. Sorry, guys.
B
Is that the last time you.
A
Last night?
B
Yeah.
A
Yeah, on my way home.
B
That's nice. A little warning.
A
He does not text when he's at the office. Like, yeah, there is none of that. I mean, sometimes another pack. Another text. Can you get packages? Like, this is not. Oh, oh, okay. I have a funny text. Want to watch another episode of our new happy show, which is a Joke. Because we have this realization that every night, like, a show that Ryan and I both like is really hard to find. So usually they're like dramas or thrillers or something like that. Something that we both really like. So at night when we want to watch something, it's always, like, not a happy show, and we're like, what a way. Like, right now we're watching all her fault.
B
Oh, I heard it's good, but I'm not. Yeah, it's the person from that. That other show. Oh, I went with the.
A
The woman or the man?
B
The woman.
A
Oh, I did. She was.
B
I can't. Why can't I think of the name? It's like the family show where it's.
A
Like, this is us.
B
No, no, no, no, no. It's like corporate vibes.
A
Oh, the. The Succession.
B
Succession. Thank you. Yes. She's from Succession. The redhead. Right.
A
Oh, I didn't. I watched one episode and I couldn't handle it, so.
B
I love her, though. She's. I think she's phenomenal. So I do want to watch that. Yeah.
A
It's so good. It's just one of those shows, like, not Tell me Lies, but, like, it's just, like. It gets you hooked.
B
Like murder mystery? Kind of.
A
Yeah, kind of. It's a mystery.
B
Okay.
A
I'm hoping. I haven't finished it, but it's a mystery as of now. And it is incredible. But it's, like, so not happy. So that's why I texted Ryan. Want to watch our happy show.
B
Got it.
A
Yeah.
B
Yeah. I was watching, like, reality TV and whatever to, like, shut off our brain. I feel like. Like, I'm not letting Netflix tell me what to watch at this point. I'm in, like, one of those phases where it's like, whatever we've been watching, like, is it cake? What is that Watched. Is it cake?
A
I've seen, like. You mean, like, is it cake or is it, like a.
B
It's a show. They made it into a show on Netflix where it's like they. They have people make cakes that look like objects. Like they. Every episode is a different thing. No, it's completely, like, such an absurd, ridiculous show.
A
Wow. I do.
B
Is it cake? And then they, like, cut into it and, like, the people have to guess. Like, is it good?
A
Oh, I've done that. Like, on Tick Tock, there'll be, like, two next to each other. But I didn't know there was a whole show.
B
No, there's a whole show. You gotta go watch it. It's a really mind, completely mindless watch.
A
Oh, my God. Speaking of mindless watch, did you watch All's Fair, the Kim Kardashian Joe? I haven't finished it, but I started it. Obviously. Like, a lot of people hate it or think it's bad. Whatever. I heard something and I think it was on another podcast. Maybe chicks in the office. Someone else was saying that this show all is Fair. Actually, no. I don't know. Podcast. This show was created as a second screen show, which means they made it so that you can, like, be on your phone, like a different screen and have it on. I heard that and I was like, no.
B
Did they actually make it that way or the show was so bad that they had.
A
Maybe they're recording it, package it.
B
They're like, no, no, guys, you're missing the point.
A
Like, I don't know. But, like, that really freaked me out. And it is true because it's so easy to follow. Yeah. Second screen show can refer to a few concepts, including using a secondary device like a phone or tablet while watching content on a primary screen.
B
That sounds like a good needle point show then.
A
That's what made me think of it. I was like. Because I was gonna say, is the cake show like your needlepoint?
B
Oh, 100. The cake show. Like, you could, you know, you only have to look at the screen every once in a while.
A
Yeah. It's saying all's fair, second screen. I mean, I don't know.
B
Interesting mindless watch recently. I don't know why. Maybe because it's like. Yeah, it's not too heavy. You don't have to go to bed feeling like, exactly.
A
The world's ending. Yeah. It's nice to go to bed and have sweet dreams.
B
Yeah, for sure.
A
Oh, wow. These are spicy.
B
Yeah. There are definitely a lot of spicy questions. I mean, like, everybody wants to know about our sex lives, but, like, I mean, for me, there's nothing interesting over there. Like, I don't know, things are great, but, like, you know, nothing crazy.
A
I literally have nothing to say. Yeah.
B
Like, no notes. No notes.
A
Shoot. I should have, like, looked at. I did, like, a quick glance. No, they're very much no, but we will get spicy. I promise you guys that. I just have nothing to say.
B
Do you feel comfortable asking each other about your sex? I've. Someone said yes, but, like, to a certain extent, I just am not an overtly sexual person like that. Like, yeah, I'm not. I don't enter a room and I'm not Samantha Jones. Like, you know, so did ya.
A
Yeah.
B
Last night, did you, like sideways. Yeah. Like, I think if you are that personality type, like, you'd be more. I'm totally comfortable with it. It's just not like.
A
No, I'm typically. I'm not like I was last night. Yeah. Well, something I've noticed, and this is just, like, natural progression, but, like, you're talking to your friends, one of your friends starts talking to a guy. I feel like you know every detail. Like, I remember when you and Ben started dating. Like, I know everything.
B
Yes, for sure. Because it's like, it's new. It's like the. I don't say the drama, but, like, the gossip that week. Right. Like, you're like, oh, wait till you hear what happened to me.
A
Yeah, exactly. Like, I remember I would tell all my friends, like, literally every single detail. And then he opened the door, and then we walked in, and then he kissed me. You know, like, literally every single thing.
B
There was music. There was.
A
Yeah, there was music. There were candles.
B
Yeah, there were candles. Whatever. Whatever you. Whatever you're into.
A
But then you. It's like, I even. Because I have a couple friends that, like, just got a boyfriend, and at first I was hearing everything, and now I don't hear a thing.
B
So true.
A
She just sends, like, a Snapchat with him. Like, in bed on a Sunday, like, hey, guys. Episode. I'm like, oh, my God, she's a freaking boyfriend.
B
And, like, so true.
A
I don't hear anything anymore, which is, like, so fine. And I do the same thing. But, like, I feel like, yes, I do have some friends. I feel like we both do, where they're, like, over. I don't say overly sexual, but I know more than Jonesy.
B
Yes. And it's not. It's not a bad thing to be that way, but I just wouldn't describe us as that way, which, no, I don't think it's good or bad. I can be. If I'm around someone like that. I would say adapt, for sure.
A
Yes.
B
But it's not like, you know, when I'm at, like, a group dinner, especially with new people, I'm not like.
A
So I'm the same way.
B
Like, what are the tips, everybody? Like, how are we doing this?
A
Like, no, I feel like you have to be playing one of those card games, but. Because I was going to say, I was like, you will talk about it. I feel like I will talk about.
B
Totally.
A
Just, like, all is well.
B
I'm not going to be the one to bring it up, though.
A
Like, no, I. No. But also, it just depends on, like, the type of person I'M around. Like, I have a few people in my life that, like, they want to ask, they want to chat. I'm like, okay, I just have to, like, switch my brain for a second. I'm like, I'll do it with you for sure. We'll, we'll chat it up for sure.
B
This show is sponsored by Better Help. Danielle and I are really locking in and we're creating fabulous traditions in our own lives for this holiday season. I think I'm starting a new tradition where I'm going to start decorating for the holidays around Thanksgiving. So, you know, like the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and then Black Friday, like that weekend. I'm just going to use that as, like, holiday prep. It really just, like, gets me in a cozy mood and, like, sets up the season right. And I feel like we're setting up these traditions for ourselves. And something that you could add into your family traditions could be therapy. That is truly how you make sure that you are taking time for yourself. I think it is so important to not forget to look inward and close out the year with clarity rather than chaos. You got to fill up your cup before you can pour into others. And I truly do believe that. And therapy is it. Especially online therapy with better help. BetterHelp does the initial matching work for you so you can focus on your therapy goals and find a great therapist for you. You just fill out a short questionnaire and they are going to match you with an amazing therapist. And you can also switch therapists at any time. They have over 30,000 therapists and BetterHelp is one of the world's largest online therapy platforms. So this December, start a new tradition by taking care of you. I also think I'm not trying to, like, sit here and be high and mighty and be like, oh, my God, I'm so much like. Because obviously I'm not like, we're gonna, you know, see that. But I think as you get older, it becomes Less interesting, too. I mean, I think also being in a serious relationship, it becomes less interesting. But I think when you're younger, like in college and stuff, it's so Hot Topic. Yes. But now that I'm older, like, I just feel like it's. There's more interest. Not like this sounds like, oh, my God. But there is more interesting things to talk about than, like, yeah, sex positions, period. Like, I'm gonna say, at least in my opinion.
A
Yeah.
B
And I'm not trying to sound all high and mighty, like, you know, there's a time and place. But I think when you're 21, 22, you're like, oh, yeah, what's that? Exactly. Yeah. Yeah. I, like, found out what that was at, like, 22.
A
Like, I was like, whoa, my friends are talking.
B
I was like, because.
A
What's that?
B
Yeah, no, totally. I definitely didn't know those things. Yeah.
A
I don't understand.
B
Do you find that too, like, maybe that it's like, it used to be more of, like, a fun thing that it would be like, let's talk about this. And now it's just, like, not as 100.
A
I just, like, I don't. Like, I feel like I know what I know. I mean, but also I do feel like you're at dinner and you're on your, like, second or third drink. It's like a girls night and one person says something. It's like, okay, I'll be TMI for a second. Like, it's fun to, you know, in the right environment. But. Yeah. On a Tuesday at 12pM I'm not.
B
Like, yeah, well, I wanted to bring.
A
Something every now and then. I will pull my friends, like, is this normal? Or like, what do you think about, like. But I think it was more when we were younger. For sure.
B
Yeah. Time and place. Time and place. Do you know that, like, did you ever follow. This is. So it's not niche, but, like, remember, like, the James Charles. Tati, like, Shane, did you remember, like, when that feud was going on a few years ago?
A
I couldn't tell you what it was about, but I remember all the.
B
Yeah. You know, I, like, kind of forget, too, but I know that there's one iconic line that. And Tati about James Charles goes. And you did it at my birthday party. Because he was talking about his sex life and you did it at my birthday party.
A
Oh, that's good.
B
Or birthday dinner. It was like something like, damn. Yeah. Because he was talking, I guess, about his sex life, but he was at the time younger. So for him, that Was exciting. And she was like, 40 or something, so she was.
A
He had sex at his birthday or she.
B
No, he was just talking about, like, giving blowjobs at her birthday party or something, like, two in the past. She was like, that's not appropriate. Like, you know, don't talk about that here. Basically.
A
Wow. That is. That's really funny. I guess it just depends on the vibes. I guess he felt like, damn.
B
Yeah. I don't know all this. I just, like, it's one of those, like, iconic. That's a good line that you're like. Yeah.
A
And you did it at my birthday party.
B
Yeah.
A
Wow. Well, that being said, if we're getting spicy, I'm gonna ask you one.
B
Yeah.
A
Do you. Mom, just please don't listen. I can't do this today. Favorite position.
B
I, I, guys, I. I'm not even trying to sit here and be, like, so vanilla and, like, so, like, high and mighty, but, like, I'm, like, so, like, I don't even know, like, traditional at this point. Like, I don't even know, like, traditional, traditional values. No. Like, no, I'm. I'm. My brain goes to starfish.
A
I don't know.
B
Yeah. Wait. My brain goes to needlepoint. I'm, like, continental. Like, the con. It's like the basic stitch thinking.
A
Continental, like, buffet.
B
Like, no, no, but, like, like, it's, like, the most vanilla stitch. Like, it's the plainest one. So I'm like, no. So Brooks is continental.
A
Yeah, I will. I like the continental buffet as well, too. I also like the cherry on top.
B
Yeah.
A
Yeah.
B
But I like that one too. Yeah, that's fun.
A
Fun if you're in the.
B
But I'm not. I, I, I'm not over here doing, like, I'm just not that flexible. I mean, I'll say that, like, unfortunately, I'm not.
A
Well, I, like, really needed to lock it before walking on the street.
B
Yeah. Yeah. When people, like, tell, like, that's the thing. I. Maybe it's just. Maybe it's me. You guys can be like, it's you. Like, whatever. Like, when people tell crazy stories about, like, their crazy sex life or whatever it is, I'm like, you and I are living in different bodies because, like, my body can't do that. You know what I'm saying? I don't have the stamina to, like, do something so crazy for.
A
No, I'm sorry. Or like, when people are like, no, I literally finished Heaven time.
B
Yeah. Something absolutely ridiculous.
A
I'm sorry.
B
I know.
A
Fair.
B
What do you have proof?
A
Like, I don't believe you. Do you know what that feels like?
B
Yeah.
A
Do you know what that means? Yeah, that's. That was a lot of. In college, too. Totally, literally couldn't stop. I'm like, all right.
B
Yeah. I feel like that is a lot when you're younger, too. Like, you're like, you have to tell, like, the most dramatic story or, like, oh, my God, how crazy it was, but, yeah.
A
And then you realize, like, oh, okay. But also, like, I don't know. To each his own. And, like, maybe that is their experience. I don't want to. Like, this is just. We're talking about our experiences, you guys.
B
Like, no, of course I want. I want that for everybody out there. That's what I'm saying. I wish that I had that guy. Like, you know, people say these crazy things, like, like, and I. I do believe that they do it because I, you know, I. They'll be like, oh, I was, you know, backwards and bent over, and I was like that for. So, like, you know how there's, like, decks of cards of, like, sex positions are actually doing these?
A
I see those at gift stores. I'm like, is there, like, a couple that's like, let's do that tonight maybe. Like, probably.
B
We, like, can't, like, lift each other up. Like, we're just getting there. You know what I mean? Like, so, like, carrying your weight. Like, I don't know how they do that. You know, Like.
A
I'm so sorry.
B
I'm.
A
The woman is too stunned to speak. No, totally agree.
B
But if you are, like, a really. Like, you're an athletic person, like, super flexible, like, tell us. And, like, tell us how crazy it gets because, like, I want to live vicariously through you.
A
I want to live. Yeah. Through you. Teach us your ways. I also feel like I'm typically a morning person, so I'm tired.
B
Yeah.
A
So you want to sleepy? Pretty much. Like, I'm never a night person, actually. Is that crazy to say? That is crazy to say. I'm just always, like, so tired at night. Like, all I want. I'm in my. I want to be in my sock curls and watch a show.
B
Yeah. I'm just, like, lazy in the morning, though. Like, that is my problem. Like, I. I'm like, ah, let's just wait till later because I'll be a little more like, pepper my step.
A
Yeah.
B
You know?
A
Yeah.
B
That's just how I feel.
A
Totally.
B
To each their own.
A
To each is their own birth control. Let's just make a little lighter for a second. Someone asked, oh, I want to Hear.
B
About your birth control journey because you kind of. Did you share on the podcast?
A
Yeah, I think so.
B
Okay.
A
I got off birth control last year around this time when I was starting my health journey, because we were doing, like, all kinds of, like, blood panels and tests and stuff, and my doctor had suggested she was like, maybe let's. Because I had been on birth control since I started Accutane, so, like, junior year of high school. And I was just like. I don't even know what I feel like off of it at this point. I remember when I got on birth control. I don't know if you remember, but, like, I was unwell. Like, I was, like, the moodiest person, really. It was a real. It was also, like, a hard year. Was a weird year.
B
Yeah. But you're on Accutane at the same.
A
Time, and I was on Accutane at the same time, so it could be that.
B
Yeah, I suspect.
A
Yeah. But that's not also why I went for sure. Birth control, by the way. I was just, like, reflecting. But then, like, I got so used to it, and everything was fine. Honestly, all was well. I was loving it. My skin was really clear. I feel like my skin. Skin, thankfully, still has been clear since I got off of it. Basically. I got off to, like, test my hormones, whatever, and there was nothing, like, to show for my, like, whatever. And then I was like, okay, you want to start your birth control again? And I just, like, haven't done it yet because I'm like, maybe I am a little scared that if I started again, I'll get the moodiness.
B
Like, throw a wrench in your.
A
Like, my.
B
My system that's working right now.
A
Yeah, yeah, that's. I was talking to a gynecologist the other day when I was there, when I was talking to her when she was in me, you know, that whole thing. And I was just like. She was like, do you want to, like, start it up again? I was like, I do, but I'm also like, I just feel so good in my body right now.
B
Yeah. And I'm so another variable.
A
Yeah. And I just, like, don't want to throw a wrench, especially with, like, the weather getting colder. I don't know. I don't know. So. But I told her. I was like, can I, like, send you a message in, like, January? And we'll, like, circle back. We'll circle back, you know, Love to circle back after the.
B
Love to circle back in the new year.
A
In the new year.
B
Yeah.
A
But no, I am really happy because my acne, like, didn't come back in a crazy way. I mean, like, everyone has, like, some hormonal acne. But, like, I'm so happy. Cuz I was really, really nervous. I was like, here we go. All back to my cheeks. We're good, so.
B
Well, I'm really happy about that for you.
A
Yeah. So.
B
But you're just living life, though. You're good without it.
A
Yeah, I'm good. It's a little risky. Risky biz, but, you know, if you follow the precautions when you. Yeah, yeah.
B
Just follow your precaution. I. I am a person that I, even on birth control, convince myself I'm pregnant literally every day. I'm like, oh, I'm a teen mom. I'm gonna have a kid right now. Like, I. I don't know why. Like, there's been several times in my life where I'm like, deeply, deeply convinced that I'm pregnant and. What? I've never taken plan B.
A
Can I ask you that?
B
I am. I did. I did one time. I don't think I needed to.
A
I know so many people that took it. And like, I was like, why?
B
No, honestly, like, I don't think I needed to.
A
Yeah. But I feel it was so college. Was it college or.
B
No, no, it was the year right after college. You're right after college. I was traveling and I forgot my birth control. Yeah. I was so crazy.
A
Yeah. No, that would. That would freak me out too.
B
And I was like, I don't know. Just to be sorry. Yeah. And I just knew I was like, there's like, only gonna be a handful of times probably in my life where I'm in a pinch like this because I'm very. With my birth control. I am regimented. So. Yeah, I'll take it. Just in case. Even though you could take one bit.
A
Like, I always. I thought there was this myth that you could only take it three times. Is that not true?
B
No.
A
Oh, yeah.
B
I mean, I don't know if it's necessarily, like, great as your primary form of birth control. Like, I think you should, like, you.
A
Know what if it makes you do that?
B
But I think, yeah, you take it when it's needed.
A
Did it make you, like, feel weird?
B
No.
A
Oh, that's good. I've heard that. I've never taken it.
B
Yeah.
A
But like, I feel like I've heard people say, like, it like, with your hormones for a few days or like.
B
I'm like, not in tune with my body, though. You know what I mean?
A
Yeah, I. I am, but I'm not with, like, the hormone Stuff I feel like.
B
Yeah. No, and I was also, like, running around, like, the city with my friend. Like, I was just. You know what I mean? Like, I was busy.
A
You were living life in Boston. This was in Boston, right?
B
No, but I was traveling, so I was in la.
A
You were. No, I know, but, like, what.
B
It was that year.
A
Yeah, that year.
B
Yeah. That era of time. So then I feel like I was like, like, just busy and I was like, okay, I just gotta get to the next thing. I feel like if I was home in bed, like, ruminating.
A
Yeah. It might be like, rum.
B
Oh, my God, I don't feel good. Maybe that's the secret is just, like. I don't want to say, like, keeping busy, but sometimes, like, when you're, like, starting something new or whatever, like, you just need to, like, keep your brain occupied and, like, just instead of 100 ruminating.
A
I definitely feel that way. I feel like sometimes.
B
I don't know. You've never taken blended, then?
A
No, I haven't. Not because I'm against it or anything.
B
Yeah, no, you haven't needed it.
A
I haven't. I haven't needed it.
B
The thing I don't remember. I don't think it was locked up, but, like, it usually is.
A
I thought.
B
No.
A
Or you have to, like, at the.
B
Register, they had to, like, take it off.
A
I remember the case thing.
B
Yeah.
A
Yeah.
B
But I don't think I didn't need to, like, call on the thing to, like, get them to come over.
A
Family planning.
B
So humbling. It is. So. Can you imagine? Like, and you. I know you could buy it at any age now. Like, I know that that was, like, a big thing because it was like, people, like, in high school and stuff, like, needed to have access to it. But, like, like, I cannot imagine going to my local CVS in my hometown and having to, like, go on the intercom. I'm like, hey, Mrs. Smith. Like, you know, like, she's picking up, like, something.
A
I know. I like, I wonder if it's on Ubereats or Doordash or maybe now. It is.
B
Yeah, I think it is. It is. There's this other one not sponsored. Like, they're, like, rebranding, like, Plan B now. There's, like, one that. It literally is Plan B, but there's. It's called Julie. They're like, try Julie. Honestly, No, I love it.
A
There are so many things I wish existed when we were younger.
B
Like, yeah, there's over the counter birth control, the opill.
A
Oh, I've heard. I've seen this. I've seen ads for it. Like, okay, yeah, or maybe I'm making that up.
B
I think it. It's. It's good to have options. Here's the thing. Like, yeah, I was not like, 16 and having sex, though, so, like, that. I don't. I didn't have that experience. But, like, I feel like a lot of my friends in high school, like, you know, they didn't want to tell their parents or like, whatever, or even like through college, some people are like, oh, I can't, you know, but you have to. You have to take care of yourself.
A
Yeah, I know friends that would, like, go to the health center in college.
B
To get it, which. That's. That's great. Hey, you're seeking care.
A
Yeah. You know, you got to do what you got to do. But it is scary. I. I don't know what I would have done because I started it because of Accutane. I wasn't, like, sexually active at the time, but it kind of worked out because I just.
B
Yes, it was a good time. That was kind of. Me too. Went on for my skin. Senior year of high school, I was like, ah, I'm going to college next year.
A
It's. Yeah.
B
Convenient. Perfect time. Couldn't have lined this up better if I tried.
A
Hey, mom and dad.
B
Yeah, I'm.
A
Yeah, I've been considering lol, because my dad's like a doctor. He's the one who's been telling me about this. I'm like, well, he was like. He was like, you should consider the IUD thing.
B
I thought you were gonna say for some reason.
A
What did you think?
B
Like, the pull out method. I don't know why I thought that you should consider the.
A
The pull out method. Oh, my God. If my father said that to me, I'm crying. It was enough. Him talking to me about iv. I was like, we're going there. And like, again, I mean, you probably know through Ben too, it's like, they're so medical that, like, he's not. But I was like, no, this is weird because an iud, like, that is what that's for. Like, because he was like, you could. He literally was like, you could do the non hormonal iud.
B
The copper iud.
A
Yeah. And I'm like, so literally for sex. Okay. There is nothing else that's for. But I. That, like, I. My vagina literally hurts.
B
Yeah. I can't think about it. I can't think about.
A
But I hear, like, a lot of people really love it.
B
I feel the same way. Can I say hot take, like, about Plastic surgery and everything. I don't know if this is or not. Like, I kind of feel the same way about. And now I'm not. Look, I got filler in my nose. And should we know that? That's been a look I got. There's stuff in my face and whatever. Like, I've had nose job. But the idea of a foreign body.
A
Like, object in your body.
B
Yeah. So getting breast implants, like, and having them be, like, latex, like, things in my body, like, that does kind of freak me out.
A
Yeah, no, everyone's got their things that freak them out. It also freaks me out. And, like, so, yeah, we'll do it. And like, no, of course.
B
And it looks right. And some people, like, I have to, like, some. Whatever. It looks great. I mean, it always looks great. That's the thing. It always looks so good.
A
I'm just jealous because I know at the end of the day it's dilsy. No, but the I, for some reason, like, that's. We all have our things where we draw the line. And, like, for some reason that. Yeah, I. I don't know, the idea of something just always being inside. But then, like, I'll put a tampon in, but I get to take it out, I guess.
B
Yeah. It's like a temporary. Like, I mean, it is still temporary, but, like, you can keep a copper IUD in there for what, like six years, eight years, like, something ridiculous. It comes out as, like, rusty. No, I'm joking. I'm joking.
A
Literally, I took, like, photos. But then I've had friends that have had, like, really bad experiences with it. Like, they can't stop throwing up, like, when they get it inserted.
B
Like, birth control is so personal. It really is, like, so trial and error. A lot of, like. And obviously we're not doctors. A lot of medicine is, though, because, like, some people, like, have a side effect to something some people don't. Right. Like, you have to figure out, like, you know, when they ask you at the doctor, like, any medical allergies, I'm like, I don't know. Like, I don't.
A
We'll find out.
B
Yeah, let's see. Let's check it out.
A
Let's check. Yeah. Like, my brother and my dad are allergic to penicillin.
B
How do you not. So they had to be given it to know.
A
Yeah, yeah, you got to experience it.

A
I know sometimes if your parents allergic to something, like yeah, my dad was. So they were like, yeah.
B
But no, when they say that like I, it's so funny. I say it every time. I'm like peanuts. And they're like, okay, anything serious you're.
A
Like, that is serious. But yeah, I guess like a medical. It's always good to just say yeah.
B
Yeah.
A
To begin with. Yeah. Tips to feel more sexy.
B
Honestly, this like it's like the most basic thing ever is like to treat yourself to like a new like great underwear set. Like get yourself a nice new matching bra and underwear. Like for some reason like for me it really does it for me. I mean, I know it's like, oh, buy yourself something. And it's not like, it's not like I'm doing like a whole song and dance like with the robe and being like whoa. Like it's really so that like I, I know, I don't know how to describe it.
A
No, I know. It's like, and it could just be like you're just having your own day, but it's like just knowing that, like when you go the bathroom. Bathroom. And be like, oh, hello Lace, or whatever. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I really like that. I also unfortunately, like, when I'm tan, I feel sexier and like a good blowout. I've still, like, I. I forget if I said this on the podcast. I'm still doubling down on the fact that the one beauty thing I would keep is a blowout. Like, I just feel so damn good with like a bouncy, bombshell blowout. Internal stuff, I think. Like music, like certain types.
B
That's true. You know, honestly, working out. I hate to say it, guys. Yeah, but I do. Like, I mean, it does something for you. Like that feeling, you know, the feeling after the gym and like after you shower, like, you're like, I did my workout. Like, the shower after the gym hit stiff. Like, that is a great shower. I feel peak about my body. I'm like, I've just. That is. It's a good time.
A
It's a good.
B
Those 15 minutes are good.
A
That feeling of like pushing the gym door open, water bottle in hand, like, I did it. I'm done. 45 minutes. That hour, whatever it is that class just didn't want to wake up for. Like, I did it. Like, you feel so sexy. There's like a little extra pep in my step.
B
Yeah. And you feel like your muscles are like a little sore cuz you like, did something like. I don't know if that's empowering, but honestly, I have to say, like, the most recent times that I've felt sexy, I feel like it's. I make a skims purchase, like a matching like lace bralette and underwear or whatever it is. And honestly, for me, that hits totally.
A
On that same note, there is this one set that is so not cheap, but I linked it. Literally 7,000 people clicked on this link.
B
Oh, I clicked it because you said it was expensive. You.
A
So I was like, you're like, let me see.
B
Let's see what the price is. Yeah, the Prada jacket. We have to talk about that. I had a fucking heart attack, Danielle.
A
Okay, wait, can we.
B
Okay. Yes, sorry.
A
Can I finish the negative? So this negative underwear set, before Brooke Roast me, this negative underwear set is like, I feel sexy in it. It's like a long sleeve, like Henley top and then pants. It is the softest thing ever. Ryan loves it. He thinks it's so cute. So I had it in gray and I was like, I'm gonna buy it red for the holidays. Ho, ho, ho, Mrs. Claus.
B
Christmas came early this year.
A
Christmas came out. It is so good. I literally wear it every single day. And I just feel so good on it because it's also, like. And it doesn't have to be this set, but I think, like, a more fitted loungewear set. Like, obviously love a sweatpant and, like, a sweatsuit set.
B
Yeah.
A
But there's something about this set that just feels so good, and it, like, hits all the right parts of your body, makes your bum look good. Something about a. A snug loungewear set, like, so that is linked on my ltk, if you care.
B
Yeah. But I thought it was expensive, but I was expecting it to be, like. I don't know, like, preposterous.
A
Like, because of my Prada jacket.
B
No, no, because of the way that you said it's expensive. Like, I feel like you don't normally say that. So I was like, okay, like, let's see what's expensive.
A
Oh, I thought that. I feel like that's expensive for us, for loungewear. It definitely is, because it's like.
B
Yeah, I think that that's. I just. Just didn't. I didn't know what to expect. I'm good.
A
I'm glad I took a hair.
B
Like, my God, I don't know. And you never, like, these days. Let's see. Let's see how much the Prada jacket. I love it. I love it. I went to your ltk, of course, because I was like, oh, like, I don't know. I kind of could use a jacket.
A
There's a lot of product puffers out there.
B
Holy Danielle. I mean, are people buying it from the LT guy?
A
No, I only linked it because I got one person asking me. So what I did is I linked it, but then I linked, like, four similar.
B
So smart. Yeah.
A
Because I think more people need to get puffers that cinch at the waist. Like, that was what the point I was trying to make. I was like, there are so many cute ones that cinch at the waist. So I was like, I'll link it if one person care. I don't think anyone bought it. I don't think. And I wasn't expecting anyone to buy it, but I linked it because there's always that one person. I'm trying to be reliable with my links.
B
Yeah.
A
So. But, yeah, expensive coat. But it has. I've been wearing it, like, every day, like, walking my workout. Like, it is my puffer.
B
No, it's gorgeous.
A
I retired my SAM coat. I Had, like, a Sam one.
B
I remember you've got your Canada goose.
A
So, like, you're set.
B
Yeah, that's my big boy. I actually. But then, yeah, the other day, I have a picture because I took a selfie in the mirror because I wore. I have a white puffer jacket, and I have a white fanny pack. And for some reason, I. I think I was like, maybe going to the farmer's market or something. I don't know, like, and I put it diy. And I was like, holy shit, I am diy. Product puffer.
A
Guys, this product puffer, for reference, you can go watch my Instagram about it, but, like, it cinches at the waist, but then it also comes with, like, a Prada, like, fanny pack around it.
B
So that's not removable though, right?
A
You can remove it. It's kind of hard to. But you can remove it. And, like, so I was like, this is two in one.
B
Oh, okay.
A
That's like.
B
That makes it a little bit better. Yeah.
A
So did you di. I need. Put it in the newsletter.
B
It didn't give Lux, but it. It did the trick.
A
It did the trick a little.
B
Did it needed to do. No, I absolutely love the coat. I honestly, like, I feel like when say something about the price of it, they could say it's cheap. They could say it's expensive. Like, then I'm curious, like, to that person, what is that to you?
A
You know what I mean?
B
Because it is sort of. And I go back and forth. Like, sometimes I'm like, that's like, price points to me.
A
Yeah.
B
We draw the line. Sometimes price points feel cheap. I don't know.
A
No, I totally agree. Yeah, I totally agree. That's so funny.
B
Yeah. I don't know what I was expecting a Prada jacket to cost, though. Like, duh. It's gonna be like, I know how much a product purses. So, like. Right.
A
And this came with like, baby, basically, I. Prada purse.
B
Bogo.
A
Bogo. That's. That's how I justified it. If there wasn't a fanny pack, I would not have bought it. No, it's not Bogo. But, like, you guys know the. You know, the jam. Oh, this is funny that one of them is. What is the most expensive clothing item you've ever purchased?
B
Clothing item?
A
Yeah, it's probably would be like a jacket. Like, I've bought, like, some wardrobe NYC coats or, like, probably. Oh, no, maybe like a dress.
B
I was gonna say I wore one dress two years ago to the live show. It was from. I cannot remember the brand. I Have it on my pickle, though. Like, it was light pink with the feathers going, like, across the way.
A
Oh, yes, that was. I remember you're like, oh, my God.
B
It was, like, an Australian brand, and I had it tailored, and it was dad so much, and it's like a. It was completely beaded. So it was a. Like, very. They were like, this is a very, very challenging job.
A
Yeah.
B
So they. I think it was, like, by the time I did it all in, it was thirteen, fourteen, hundred.
A
I feel like, for the dress, you're gonna say more.
B
I mean, for one dress, like, for one occasion, though, like, that's not a universal dress that I could wear again. Like, that's a one and done.
A
It's like. Yeah, probably a little for the New York show, though.
B
Yeah, no, it was great. I loved it.
A
Like, it looked great, but I loved that.
B
But to me, I could justify that for, like, a sweater that, like, I wear a few times.
A
Like, cashmere sweater.
B
I'm like. I break it out every year.
A
Yeah.
B
But I. I haven't gotten into, like, the. The mew. Mew, like, clothes of it all. Like, I feel like you. You have, like, the. The. What is it? The fleece and the Whatever else that everybody's doing.
A
Yeah. To me, it was so worth it.
B
Yeah. But that's, like a jacket again, so outerwear.
A
I'm able to justify outerwear more because you can wear it, like, over many things. I don't know. Know I have, like, a mew. Mew tank top. But, like, I feel like, yeah, the outerwear, I'd rather, like, buy a bag because you can wear it.
B
That's how everyone has their thing that they're, like, prepared to spend money on. Like, for some reason, like, spending a lot on jewelry. Like, I can't justify it. But, like, a purse, I can. I don't. And that doesn't. There's no right or wrong. It's just how my brain works.
A
Totally. No, I. Okay, then. Do you want to hear the most I spent on a dress?
B
Oh, my God.
A
Oh. That's why I was, like, excited. I was, like, perfect. Me and Brooke are even. Do you remember the. The bright yellow dress I wore for my birthday party that I did with Spritz Society? It was feathered. It was, like, neon yellow. Yeah, it was neon yellow. It was the brand David Coma, which is very expensive. But, like, that dress looked so. I literally love that dress so much. The theme was, like, the Met Gala after party. $3,000. Wow.
B
David. Com is expensive, though.
A
Their dresses are so beautiful.
B
Yeah.
A
And the worst part is I got stuff all over it and I took it to the. I was like, no worries. Haha.
B
I know.
A
I got a guy, he called me and he was like, I can't clean this.
B
Holy.
A
Because on the dress it said, do not dry clean.
B
Oh my God.
A
I'm like, so what do I do? And he was like, I don't know. I still have this darn dress and I'm determined to fix. I mean, now it's been like years. So, like, it's probably. The stain is set, but I feel like I could find someone that's like, specialized.
B
I don't.
A
I think it's because the feathers. I'm like, can. I don't understand how dry cleaning works. I've never seen it, but I'm like, can't it cover the. Like. Like, can we do something about this?
B
They definitely are able to because I've given them things with, like, elaborate buttons and it comes back with paper over the button. Yeah.
A
So, yeah. David Goma.
B
I've. I tried a dress from them for a live show once. I remember I ordered an expensive dress from them and it was like, there was like, one thing that was wrong with it.
A
And you're like.
B
And I saw. I returned it. But I. It's such a nice brand. If I were to like, like, need a bridal era expensive dress. Yeah.
A
Or like a really. Yeah. Like a gala that, like, means a lot or like a. Yeah. Premiere that you're really. I mean, that's still so expensive.
B
My thing is, I'm, like, more inclined to rent these days with an occasion like that. Just knowing how I am. Like, I think when I was first investing in, like, dresses and stuff like that, I was like, no, no. Like, it's gonna stay in my closet forever. I'm gonna wear. And I will stay in my closet forever. I want to, like, save things for, like, God willing, like my daughter and stuff, you know, but. Or daughter, whatever it may be. But how often are you wearing a yellow feather dress? Maybe you would have found one other use for it over the years.
A
Yeah, I. Yeah, I would have liked to, but I've just written it off in my head because.
B
Yeah, it's the same.
A
But I. I should. I'll add that to my list of things to do in January when it's like, cold and depressing outside. That'll. I'll get that dress fixed.
B
Yeah.
A
Because it's a good one.
B
Yeah. Yeah.
A
But, yeah, no, it's better to get, like, a black dress that, like, I. I Like weddings, maybe for some reason.
B
Then like when I'm online shopping and I see like a fellow thousand dollars. Let's just say, like, really nice black dress, like, really premium. I'm like, can't do that. But meanwhile, it's like, I would wear that probably once a month. Like.
A
Yeah.
B
You know what I mean? Like, that would be in the rotation. So.
A
Yeah.
B
Why can't I justify that?
A
No, I know, I know.
B
It's not something I'm trying to get better about. Buying things that. Investing more in things that like a fun piece. Not spending that much on.
A
Yeah.
B
Something classic. Getting the nice pair of jeans. I'm trying to do find jeans right now. That's. That's my. My next journey in life is my jeans, which it's not too big of a struggle. I'm not going to complain over here.
A
Style. Are you looking?
B
Just everything.
A
Oh, wait, no, I. I told you where to go.
B
You did tell me where to go.
A
That's a little expensive. But instead you want to invest in fee. I told Brooke to go to Kate to try the Danielle jeans, not because it's my name, but because they're even. They're really, really good for tall girlies.
B
And see, the thing is, I need a new jeans wardrobe, so I can't go that expensive, unfortunately. Like, I. None of my jeans.
A
Like, you want new? New.
B
I want everything new. Like, this is the only pair that I like.
A
What kind of style do you want?
B
I would like one that's straight. I would like another boot cut. I would like a, you know, a tighter one. Like, I. I really want. Like, I need entirely new.
A
Yeah.
B
They don't fit me right. I. Have they.
A
You did. Have you tried the Abercrombie mid rise boot cut? Those are wearing right now. They're my favorite.
B
I should try those.
A
No, they're literally me and good price point.
B
And I'm like a citizens of humanity. Like, price point. Like, it's still a sport. Yeah. Okay.
A
Bougie.
B
No, that's. That's what I'm saying. Like, I'm investing in the new.
A
Yeah, yeah.
B
I have. I have an order.
A
You should go to, like a department store, like, when you're home.
B
That sounds like such punishment. Oh, my God. I have to try jeans on, I think at home because, like, I.
A
Without the harsh lighting.
B
So vulnerable jeans are tough.
A
Yeah. I mean, you don't have to, like, go out and show the person, you know, I hate when they're like, let me know.
B
I'm like, no, but if I go with my mom Like, I have. Have to.
A
Why? Oh, cuz if you're like, with your mom or something.
B
Yeah, if I go shopping with my mom, I'm going to show her.
A
Oh, no, of course I'm going to.
B
Do the whole show.
A
Like. Yeah, I just said when you go home, because mall. I know, I know, but there are malls here in the city.
B
Well, I have my jeans on the way, basically, so I'll let you know.
A
Oh, you have new jeans on the way?
B
Yeah, and I'm citizens of humanity and I think I got one from Paige. People told me to get Paige denim. They like that. I'm just gonna return the ones I don't like.
A
Yeah.
B
Like, I'm just building a Jane wardrobe.
A
That's literally all it is.
B
Yeah. I can't wait to see some real adult stuff.
A
Favorite location you've done a live show at. Not including New York. I have like an immediate answer, but like, it's so tough because I'm like, oh, but what about.
B
I know.
A
Oh, no, I change. No, see my immediate.
B
Okay, you go first.
A
My initial answer was Chicago because, like, I feel like we are in Chicago. However, I think you guys will understand. Atlanta was so fun.
B
So fun.
A
We had so many friends there. So like, obviously that was like. And it was just like the go dogs of it all. And like, people were saying like, the craziest and like making.
B
They were. It was such a. Like, everyone got so into it. I loved it.
A
It was so good. But then also. Boston.
B
I was gonna say Boston, probably for me, but just because it was such like.
A
Your homecoming.
B
My homecoming. Iconic venue. And the crowd was amazing. Everybody was so great.
A
Like, ginormous. Amazing crowd.
B
Yeah.
A
Like, I loved that crowd.
B
Yep. That. But all three of those were really good. Everyone was great. Hey, everybody's great.
A
Because I forget like, what it was like a. I don't know what city it was, but I remember we were like. That was our best show. Like, was it la? Remember? We got upstairs. We're like that. No, was in Texas.
B
Austin. Austin. We. We were not Austin. Sorry. Houston. Houston.
A
We were like, damn.
B
We like, like, that was awesome. And it was like comedy club. Yes, definitely. Like a family. Intimate. Intimate is the word.
A
I liked that venue a lot, though, because we were like, literally right in front of the people.
B
Yeah, it was so fun. Oh, we really connected.
A
I really feel like it was California, though, at least for me. I remember getting off and I was. Because I remember I was like, not feeling my best before that show.
B
You weren't. Oh, my God. There was a whole series of events.
A
I was not well. And then we got on stage and I was. And we got off and I was like, wait, that show was so good.
B
It was good for holiday gifting. I, I really think that I'm like a top tier gift giver. So I really like put a lot of time and care into the gifts that I am giving. And for me, I'm not like, I have to make sure that the items that I'm giving are really like, beautiful, timeless, just like things that they are going to love year over year. And that's why I love gifting quints. Quince has something for everyone. They have like gorgeous cashmere sweaters for $50 that look like designer pieces. They have silk tops and skirts, amazing denim. They've got these amazing Italian wool coats. Everything's like so tailored and just looks so luxe. I just got a gorgeous chic sweater dress. It kind of is like that duster style and like it cuts open and the like, it's just so flattering and truly looks like something that I would pay hundreds and hundreds of dollars for. But with quince, it's not really. Every piece is made with premium materials from ethical, trusted factories and priced far below what other luxury brands charge. The craftsmanship and shows in every detail. Like I'm saying, the stitching, the fit, the drape, it's elevated, it's timeless. It's made to wear on repeat. So you can find gifts that are so good you'll want to keep them with quince. Go to quince.comgals for free shipping on your order and 365 day returns. Now available in Canada too. So once again, that's Q-U-I-N-C-E.com gals to get free shipping and 365 day returns. Quince.com gals.
A
Brooke, I feel like this is a question people have been dying to know and we've never really touched on this about you. Have you ever done drugs at a rave?
B
What do you guys think I did? I mean, like, I just want, like, I don't. I'm not like a square. Like, I mean, I have fun. Like, oh, she's not a square.
A
She doesn't just needle point at home.
B
I don't. Not that you can't have fun. I've. I'll say everything. I've gone to rapes completely sober, literally, not a drop of alcohol, nothing in my body and had equally as much fun as I have. Like when I have done the opposite. So yes, but it's fun. It's part of life. Right. To.
A
I feel like that's a little.
B
Hey.
A
I feel like it makes it really fun, I hear. And especially with, like, all the visuals and stuff. I don't know now.
B
Yeah, definitely more when I was younger. Like, once again, that's another thing that. Yeah. Growing up and.
A
Yeah. I feel like you'll tell me now. You're like, I didn't even, like, do anything. I just, like, went and had fun.
B
Yeah.
A
Like, it just depends on if you're in the mood or not.
B
Totally. Sometimes I really just like, I. I do like the music enough that I can go completely sober. Like, some people are like, I have to have the amd I have a good time. I. I don't.
A
You're not a fake fan.
B
No. Hey, I'm here for the music.
A
Yeah. I don't need substance to enjoy it.
B
But I, like, I'm in my 20s, I live in New York. Like, I'm gonna have a good time.
A
Yeah, I think you should. I've. Honestly, I hate to, like, assume this, but, like, anyone that I see that posts, like, at raves, like, I'm just like, oh, she's doing jokes, and it's not a bad thing. I'm just like, yeah, they're probably doing the whole bit. They're sucking the lollipop, wearing the sunglasses. I'm like, you're doing drugs.
B
That's the thing.
A
I don't even know what that means, but I just see that and I'm like, that must know something.
B
And I hate when people. I just saw one of a celebrity. Like, people, like, filming a celebrity in the crowd.
A
Hard. Yeah.
B
When they're, like, clearly, like, on drugs, having fun, I'm like, they deserve to have fun, too.
A
Yeah.
B
You know what I mean? Like, in all the comments are like, oh, she's. She's, you know, like, it's like, let. Let them live.
A
Let them, like, let them. Let them live their life, as Mel would say.
B
Yeah. I. I'm not gonna sit here and be like, it's a psychedelic experience. Like, you know, some people say I want to Coachella and change my life.
A
Yeah, it's.
B
I haven't, like, had that. That, like, other world experience, but I've had, you know, just great times. And I think if it's done safely. Live your best life.
A
I think so, too. And I. And I know you take all your precautions.
B
That's the thing. I think I also used to think, like, about drugs. I feel like I used to be. Because they scare you so much in school. To, like, drugs or bad and whatever. Like. And I think this is so bad to say, like, I used to think that there was no, like, scale of drugs. Like, I was like, okay, there's weed and then there's heroin. Like, I didn't realize.
A
No, there was a mid range.
B
Yeah, like.
A
Like, No, I know. I did, too. I was like, okay, so there's meth and then.
B
Yeah, no, I was like, okay, so there's not, like.
A
Yeah, no.
B
There's, like, recreational. There's a spectrum. No.
A
And you can choose where you do you. You do you.
B
I just don't judge anybody for whatever lifestyle choices they make in that regard.
A
Like, I'll say one thing, and you can cut this if you want, but, like, whenever I'm around you and you're doing those things, like, I am the funniest person to Brooke and I love.
B
Oh, for sure.
A
Oh, my God. Brooke thinks I am the funniest person for sure.
B
That's more like, like a mushroom experience. Okay.
A
I didn't know.
B
I feel like that's what people do.
A
Yeah. When Brooke's doing the mushroom chocolate.
B
Yeah.
A
Oh, my God.
B
We could. I mean, we could. Everyone's doing the mushroom chocolate.
A
Everyone.
B
That's, like, become a new thing. I never knew that either. I remember thinking, like, mushrooms were. And they are very serious, of course, but I remember thinking, like, whoa, that's crazy. And it's because you think, like, shrooms.
A
Yes. There was, like, movies where they would, like, do shrooms. Bad Neighbor or something was Zac Efron. Like, I think about that.
B
Well. I remember in high school, like, the kids who did shrooms. I was like, oh. Like, they did. Like, that, to me, was on, like, the heroin level.
A
Yeah.
B
It's like, on the scale, like, whoa. Oh, my God. And now that's become, like, the recreational thing of choice. I feel like in the city. Yeah.
A
Like a night out. People like, I'm just gonna take some chocolate. I'm like, whoa.
B
Yeah.
A
No hang.
B
I love it. I. For me, personally, I'm not a big drinker. You guys know, like, I'll have a cocktail from time to time, whatever. But, like, for someone. It's literally made for someone like me.
A
It's perfect. Yeah, I. I definitely. Well, I think one time I tried it at Stagecoach. Like, still unsure because I was, like, pretty okay. Another thing I tried without Brooke.
B
That's up. That's Danielle.
A
That's where I was, like, really drunk, though. And I. My friend was like, do you want to try? I, like, like, literally took, like, a bite like, not even a bite, like a nibble. So. And then I'm like, sending.
B
Snap. I was like, guys, like, I don't even want to talk about it.
A
No, we won't talk about it. Because if I. Yeah, how about this? If I ever choose to try it, like, yes, thank you. Like, in a real way. Because, like, I am curious. Because, like, when you, like, you.
B
You would enjoy it. I really do think so. It's more like a micro dose, too. Like, I'll say that, like, the amount that we're like, I. I take one square, I take two squares, like, for the night. You know what I mean? Like, that's technically like a micro dose amount. Like, it's not. So that's why I think I have a good, silly, goofy time. But I'm, like, in control. I don't feel like, out of my body.
A
So you don't feel, like, anxious or anything?
B
No, I feel like the opposite. Like, I'm not even thinking of that makes you, like. So that's the thing with Weeds too. There's so many different types of weed. Because I used to have that experience too.
A
Yeah.
B
Like when I used to smoke in, like, frat bedrooms or whatever. Like, I would have literally the worst type of the scariest. Like, I had to hold myself in the chair to, like, be like, it's okay. You're here. It's okay. You know what I mean?
A
Yeah.
B
But now I feel like when I smoke weed, like, I have the. Like, it's so. It's. There's so many different types of weed. That's basically what I have to say. Because people like, I had a bad experience. I'm like, give it a. Yeah, give it another shot.
A
Yeah.
B
There's dispensaries on every corner.
A
Yeah. They're everywhere and they are.
B
And, yeah, I guess not to normalize the chocolate, but I feel like that's. If you don't live in New York, maybe it's not as, like, common, but here it really seems that people are.
A
At Margot, taking their.
B
Yeah.
A
Chocolates.
B
Yeah.
A
I feel like a lot of people will, like, say that, so.
B
Yeah. Yeah. It's like a chill, chill thing. I think you would like it. But maybe we could.
A
I'm in a safe environment. I don't know. I just panic about everything.
B
I would not do them at Stagecoach, though. That's so funny. But I guess.
A
I just like. Yeah, but you weren't there. No, I had to.
B
No, hey, hey. We had to. Well, since you asked me about drugs, I'll ask you about your legal Drugs. Not your list of drugs. Everyone wants to know your. Your jab update.
A
My jab. Brook will be like, how's the jab going?
B
I can't not call it that. I don't know why it is.
A
No, because it's literally like a needle.
B
It is like, my family, like, we all got, like. My mom will, like, refer to it as that. Like, everyone, like, it's just like, we're just like, they're jabbed up now.
A
I've been hearing people lately, and I kind of, like, get the sauce.
B
Oh.
A
Like, oh, yeah, she's on the sauce.
B
Like, was that not used to refer to steroids back in the day?
A
Maybe.
B
I don't know.
A
It's been rebranded. This is, like, the new thing that people, like, speculate. Are they on? Yeah, no. It's going really well. Nothing really new to. To update. It's going well. I feel still so good in my body. I'm so happy I did it. I forgot. I think if. I think I updated, but if I didn't, I got, like, a new blood panel after everything, and. Did I say this on the podcast?
B
I don't think so.
A
Oh, well, Huge news. I was initially, like, in the major red for my cholesterol. That went to green. Like, super healthy. My inflammation, my inflammatory markers were crazy high. Now they are, like, literally the lowest they could ever be. Like, I was so happy, and it, like, that is why I did at the end of the day. And I just feel so good in my body. I feel so in tuned. I feel so grateful, and I'm. I literally don't have any regrets about doing GLP1, so I'm very grateful.
B
That's great. So have the response been, like, predominantly, like, positive? Like, I feel like I. I haven't seen anything that has been, you know.
A
Yeah, no, I. I'm definitely. I feel like, if anything, I've gotten messages like. Like, you know, do you have advice for this? And I'm like, okay, I'm not a doctor. Like, you know, this is Danielle.
B
Carolyn.
A
Dr. Carolyn.
B
Welcome to my.
A
Welcome to my office. But I. The main response I've gotten is like, thank you so much for being honest about it.
B
Yeah.
A
Because I remember, like, when I called you, and I was like, I'm gonna do this. Like, I was like, I will be talking about this on the podcast.
B
Like, honesty is the best policy.
A
Honesty's the best policy. And, like, it's just really, like, we've both talked about this, where it's hard to, like, see people, like, shrink or whatever. It Is.
B
Yeah.
A
Like, come on. Like, be honest.
B
Literally, that's just my thought process recently. I'm like, the amount of people that are in deny, not even, like, not addressing it. They say denial is offensive. Like, I'm gonna say, like, as a person who is, like, just sitting here, like, watching it happen, I'm like, it's kind of cruel.
A
No. Yeah, totally. I think, like, the not addressing, like, you could.
B
Whatever you could choose to. I get that.
A
Like, if you, like. Because I. I definitely am not, like, on my instag, like, talking about it all the time. Because I'm also like, I don't want to become. Like, that's not my brand. Like, that's not what I'm here to, like, share. Like, you know, whatever. But I'm like, I will. You know, if anyone asks me, I will tell them. But it's so. I think it's frustrating as well. And people are like, no, I can't believe you guys think that.
B
Like, literally, I just get 10k steps a day. It's like, okay, yeah. Or I see the opposite of people who are, like, very clearly on it, but, like, just. We'll show their lifestyle and, you know, pretend to live this unhealthy life. And I'm like, so. So. So you don't eat?
A
Yeah.
B
You know what I mean?
A
Like, you can. You've traveled. Like, I. Yeah, I feel like I have a really good balance with it.
B
I think you do, too.
A
I really think, like, I. I'm very grateful.
B
I feel like you're doing very healthy. Like, you know, you're not doing it. Once again, like, I watched the Nader show, and I was like, they literally make it seem like a tyranny. Like, they literally do dramatics here, all the needles.
A
Like, she also does it, like, the really intense way.
B
Really? What's the really intense way?
A
Well, she does it. If I remember it right, you, like, put this. The, like, syringe. The sauce in the syringe, and you do it. Like, the ones I have, it's like a pen. Like, I don't even see it.
B
Got it.
A
You know, like, yeah, I get scared of that to begin with.
B
Yeah. Yeah. It's also becoming so. Like, I knew that it would become, like, more mainstream just because of the way that, like, there was a stat about it, but I feel like now it's, like, so, so mainstream. Like, yeah, everything in the. Like, I was ordering my eat clean bro meals, and it's like, GLP1 options.
A
Like, really?
B
Yeah.
A
Need to look at that. No, it's like, protein Heavy or, like.
B
Protein heavy and, like, just a. Like, not the biggest one. That is, you know, 900 calories and, like, for gains.
A
Oh, interesting.
B
It's more so, like, just.
A
Yeah.
B
Does that make sense?
A
Yeah, no, that's it. I'm sure it's trippy, though, to see it, like, on a website. Like, I haven't.
B
Yeah. I don't think they're making new original meals for it, but. Yeah, it's like, hey, these are. But they. I mean, they have that, like, in a lot of places.
A
Yeah, they do. It's. Yeah, the sauce. Hey, I have to say it in a New York accent.
B
Yeah, the sauce.
A
So we're both on drugs.
B
Mine might be illicit.
A
Affairs.
B
I'm not, like, actively on drugs. Like, I think I would pass a drug test in the moment, but, like.
A
Any brands.
B
It's, like, been a while. Also, I will say I. Since I've been on antidepressants, I've not done drugs because. Well, except for chocolate.
A
I was gonna say I'm sorry, but that's, like.
B
That's like weed.
A
Like, that's different.
B
I have not done anything, like, crazy crazy, because I'm. There's, like, they say, like, you know, like, the chemicals, like, you already have. Like, I am kind of nervous to, like, around right now.
A
Yeah. You don't want to, like, around and find out?
B
Yeah. No, no. Finding. No, no, no, no, no. Knock on wood. Like, I've never put myself in, like, a compromising situation or anything like that, so I don't want to.
A
No. No need.
B
Yeah.
A
Well, I would say we got spicy and, like, if you don't think that.
B
I don't. What else do we have to give? Like, there's.
A
There's more to give, but there'll be more episodes. Hey, hey.
B
There's always something.
A
I really hope my mom didn't listen to this episode.
B
I might.
A
Oh, say, like, would you, like, text your mom before and be like, please don't.
B
No, I'm just gonna not address it. Don't. And just hope. Pray that she doesn't listen to this one. She's, like, so behind at this point, too. Like, I'm. You know, she'll listen to this next year and be like, holy.
A
You know what I'm gonna do when I'm home for Thanksgiving? No one tell my mom this.
B
Unsubscribe from the.
A
No, I'm gonna, like, scroll through the whole pod this episode so it looks like she listened to it. I'm four years old. See, something. Still can't.
B
But meanwhile, like, because my mom.
A
I know your mom listens to. But like my mom, like every Wednesday, like.
B
No, I know. So mine just like, hasn't been keeping up. There's other people too. Like, I'm sure that like, like family adjacent that are listening to. I think my grandma does listen, so I'm gonna have to say, don't listen to this grandma. It's okay, though. But Look, I'm a 28 year old woman.
A
That's the thing. Like, also, like, when we have kids, it's like, well, they had sex, like.
B
Yeah, so true.
A
Think about that.
B
So true. They're. Yeah. Also like, I. I've never gone, like done a deep dive with my mom and like, what exactly she did back in the day. Not that I don't want to know. No, that's the thing. Like, that's my life. Yeah.
A
Together we are family. Okay, you guys, thank you so much for listening. This was a very fun episode. And if you like this, let us know and we'll do another one.
B
Yeah, for sure.
A
Once we load up. All right, love you guys. Bye.

Podcast: Gals on the Go (PodcastOne)
In this spicy, honest, and hilariously candid episode, Brooke and Danielle dive into a freewheeling Q&A where no topic is too taboo. They chat about everything from relationship oversharing, wedding guest fashion, and feeling “Type-A,” to the nitty-gritty of sex talk with friends, the truth about drugs and raves, birth control journeys, and the realities of cosmetic and health decisions. The episode’s tone is like an unfiltered girls' night in—open, playful, a little irreverent, and always supportive.
Recommended for: Anyone wanting candid girl talk that’s equal parts fun, open, and full of big-sister advice (with plenty of laughs and no judgment).
