Things are changing around here. Like we said a couple weeks ago, who would have thought that the gals would be recording live from a swimming pool in the Hamptons today?

Vulnerable. We were given this idea by one of the gals staying at the house. Shout out Maggie. She was like, what if you guys filmed in the pool? We were like, we should film in the pool.

I feel like you were like, let's film in the pool. I was like, that sounds insane. And then I came around too, and.

You were like, wait, that. Because it's either. You know, we wanted to record a couple Hamptons episodes, and then we thought, how could we spice it up in the pool?

Like, I think, yeah, we're spicing it up in the pool today. Also, like, we were just saying that it's not only is it pool day, you know, vacation, Hamptons episode, it's also. Daniel and I decided to completely switch personalities for the day.

So there was no chat in the group chat, basically, AKA the chat between us two.

No chat. Well, the chat was, hey, I'm going to wear my most conservative option, because I don't. You know, it's already hard enough to do this, so I want to podcast in a swim.

And then we both came downstairs and completely opposite vibes.

So, yeah, Brooke was like, I'm going to wear a very conservative, like, one piece. I was like, oh, my God. I got this tankini from Amazon. I bought Perfect. Little did we know, for visuals, if you're not watching on YouTube, which, again, really should be today. I am wearing a blue and white gingham tankini with bows on it.

Which we did on purpose because, like, that's why we had a little summer break last week. So we know you guys missed us so much. But they're like, no, we didn't, we didn't even realize. No, no, my mom, she goes, no. New podcast today, question mark.

Oh, she's. Your mom. Is single handedly keeping us in business. She's keeping the lights on at Gals on the Go hq.

Seriously. Thank you, Peaceful Michelle. Which while we're at. I do want to tell a quick story. We should tell.

It's good. So we've been taking a lot of meetings. The gals are really trying to, you know, level up our production and just like, you know, things hit Gals hq, we're getting kind of crazy.

[Danielle]

Yeah, we're trying to level up because that's what we do around here. It's been many, many years now and many, many meetings.

[Clara]

We sit on these zoom meetings, guys, and we absorb the information, we ask a lot of questions.

[Danielle]

We're like, what? You know, we're trying to get more feedback and yeah, we really do want to take it and.

[Clara]

Totally, totally. So big things coming. But on the note of like, you know, directionally, like what we want to do, we were like in a chat with like some members of our team and they were, you know, throwing out, you know, you throw some suggestions, you see what sticks. Some ideas a little more crazy than the baby sprinter pool.

[Danielle]

Some ideas they, they play. And here we are. Yeah, we're gonna be super pruny after this.

[Clara]

Oh my gosh. Luckily it's only the bottom half because, you know, when it's your hands, it's like, that's you're Done for the day.

Like, you're. No, just our toys will be nice. That's okay. But, yeah, we were talking about how, you know, what kind of guests we want on the show when we do have guests on, and how we love having our family members on our friends that. You guys know stuff like that. And I feel like a lot of them really do, too.

People who are in the Gals Universe. Multiverse.

Is that what it is?

Yeah, it's like, universe, and then, like, the multiverse is the extended version of that.

I think, like, that's the director's cut.

I have no idea. We're not Marvel people or, like, any of that sort of stuff. But then the Gals world, and. And we were talking about our moms. We were like, oh, my gosh. Like, our moms are such, you know, big characters.

And someone on our team, they go, wait, you guys should do another episode with Zen Jen.

[Clara]

They're like, jen. Jennifer is your mom's name, right? Danielle? Because no one answered. Like, the chat was just silent.

Like, Zen Jen. They're like, hello, Anyone there?

Active chat. And then it was like two minutes of nothing. You know, when that happens, you're like, ooh, it. Something. Something's off, you know?

But really, I didn't respond yet because I was laughing so hard. I don't even know if I told my mom this. Well, here, now, you. And I was like. I think you mean peaceful Michelle. And he was like, oh, my gosh, I'm so sorry. I was like, I'm not offended at all. That is the funniest of my life. He was really trying.

No, he. It was an original idea. He was like, you should do Zen Jen's Zen moment of the week or something.

[Danielle]

Yeah.

Yeah. We're talking about segments and guests, you know, but now.

It's. You know, I get a hyper fixation right now is look, comma. And usually after I say something offensive, so I'm gonna say it.

All right. Yeah. Instead of like, can I say something mean? It's like, look. Okay, I'm looking. I am preparing.

I was gonna say, look. It's actually not offensive. You know, when you make friends in adulthood, you know, you have no context of their previous life. Like, you barely know any factors about them.

You, like, you're up with them, you're scraping for information.

[Clara]

You know, you're taking scraps, whatever you can get. Like, it's like, you know, they'll mention them. Oh, my dad likes boats. Oh, you grew up on a boat. Oh, my God.

I didn't know that. You've been in Antarctica. Who knows? Like, there's all these fun facts.

[Clara]

Totally. Like, oh, I lived in three. What states? I don't. I didn't know you lived in three states. Yeah. Like, you're learning about them. This is a universal, I think, your experience of making friends in adulthood. For sure, you don't have the background. No. You normally do.

Or people that you meet that you've only known them to be in a relationship, and then you hear about their dating stories, and you're like, so much new lore.

It's just someone sitting at the table. I was like, no, that was crazy lore.

I'm like, how do I not know that? I only know you to be with a boyfriend. So it's very fun. Highly suggest. Like, sometimes it sounds cheesy, but a little conversation starter. Even with close friends, I do quotes because I don't know why I did quotes.

[Clara]

Yeah. But if you consider them to be close friends, I've been getting a lot.

[Danielle]

Of heat lately from everyone in my life about saying, you know, she's my best friend. I have that problem I call a lot of. But I have a lot of best friends.

[Clara]

You have, like, 10. You have, like, 10 best friends.

[Danielle]

You do a big 10.

[Clara]

Oh, yeah. You got your big 10. No, you'd have a lot.

[Danielle]

You know what I mean?

You actually are really close with. That's the thing. It's a problem, I think, when people really are like, oh, that's my best friend. But, like.

Like, do you even know her middle name?

Yes. Like, they genuinely are not actually best friends.

But yes. So kind of to lay it out, because you were bringing up the twin thing. Who's here right now at the Hamptons. Oh, the Characters this week.

The cast of characters currently. Well, this is Hamptons week two for me. So I guess we do well. We. One for me, two for you.

Coachella.

[Danielle]

Yes. Weekend two. So for the full. Where we have this house in the Hamptons for two weeks. For the full two weeks. Me, Katie Bellotti and Kellyanne Sewell have the house for the full two weeks. And then we have different cast and crew coming in and out as they go. And right now we have weekend or week two.

[Clara]

Week two. And it's. The bonus additions were me and Clara Purse, our very good friend who.

[Danielle]

And they're sharing a room with.

[Clara]

Are sharing a room. We have individual beds. It actually worked out perfectly. But it is giving camp. It definitely is. I got a, A, A scent. The house is lovely. Let me just be clear. Like, it's not giving camping. Like it is giving Lux.

The only camp thing here is like our citronella bug candles.

[Clara]

Yes, you're so right.

[Danielle]

And our water bottles that.

[Clara]

Oh, that I had to label because we have the same water bottle. And God forbid I drink out of Danielle's.

So it's a bm, you know, BM water. I didn't write on mine cuz I didn't want to. So she took one for the team. Thank you.

So I got a whiff of like, and it brought me back to camp. Like I got a. In the closet. Like I was putting something and I don't know if it was the wood or what it was, but you know how scent is associated with nologist. I was like, oh my God. I'm literally at Stage Door Manor. Like I am at theater.

[Clara]

Yes. Okay. So our friend Clara. So Claire's one of those friends where like, you know, she'll drop some random crazy lore and we're just like, we've been friends, like close friends for four years now, but we take what we can get with her. Like, you know, she's a question asker. I feel she's more inquisitive of other people's lives than. Yes, she is of her own.

[Danielle]

Yeah. There's people like that where it's like they're so kind and they just want. Totally. They just want to get to know you. And it's like, wait, you know everything about me?

[Clara]

No. I'm like, no, tell me about you. Yeah.

[Danielle]

Brooke will get get you. Brook will get you.

I'll corner you. Yeah. Tell me.

[Danielle]

Brooke has cornered many.

What's your biggest fear? Mine. We're doing it right now.

[Danielle]

Honestly, here's something. There's two different types of people, or we're two different types when it comes to, like, wanting to find out information. We're both nosy in different ways. I will reply to the Instagram story, of course. I will text the person, Brooke. If she sees them in person, you're in the corner, and you're telling her. Totally. So we. Honestly. A direct tag team.

[Clara]

Yeah. No, it is. I actually did this at Max's. Max. Max. Max Wilman's wedding and Max and Gretchen's wedding. I went into that with an agenda. I said, I have information I want to get from two guests at the wedding. I'll tell you. I said, I. I want to get this information. And, you know, like, we. We had discussed it, and you were like, I thought to ask, too. And I said, no, no worries. After day two of the wedding, I will have the information. I have the information.

[Danielle]

Day one. Day one, you had the information. Day one, I feel like.

[Clara]

Because I'll just ask and, you know, I. I guess, maybe, obviously.

[Danielle]

But you only ask because you know that you have a relationship with that person.

[Clara]

Yeah.

You would never make someone feel uncomfortable.

Well, also, like, you can say no.

Or, like, you can. Like, I've done that before where people ask me things, and you're just, like. You give, like, the politically correct answer. You're like, no, I love everybody equally.

I think we know so much about her, and we do. Honestly, like, the last year, Brooke and I have been in this internal debate for whatever reason, because we just can't stop talking at all.

And we could have just asked her. This was very much so something that we definitely could have asked. But instead, we just decided to make it an ongoing problem.

[Danielle]

And it's just, like, fun to be like, what do you think? And I was so convinced. I was convinced that she had a twin this whole time, you guys, I'm like, brooke, she has a twin. I promise.

[Clara]

She had a twin. You were like, I know. Like, we. We knew. We. I know that she has, like, a sibling, but Danielle was like, no, they're twins. Yeah, they're twins. And she was like, she's blonde.

[Danielle]

Yeah, I can. I'm picturing her in my head. She's blonde.

And I was like, I, I, I know she has a sister. I, I don't know about the blonde. That's, like, mysterious. And I, I do feel we would know if she has a twin. Like, I feel if you have a twin, it's a core part of your personality, even if you're not close with that said twin, like, it's your fun fact. It's. It's a bit like, you know, you're like, because I'm a twin, I feel these feelings, and I don't doubt it. I actually can't even imagine what that's like.

I know. That's so fun. I'm so jealous.

Yes. Because sometimes I feel intuitive, but let alone, like, that next level of, like, you can feel. Oh, my God, that's.

No, I know. Imagine being so. Twin telepathy. But yeah, so, so we come to find out.

We actually just. I think I did directly ask. I was like, so while we're here, we were like, at the dinner.

Well, she's. What can I say? Yeah, yeah, you can say what? She said we could cut it if you don't want us to, Claire. She goes, yeah, my twin. And immediately we're in the car. I go, brooke, I told you I couldn't have made a bigger deal because Brooke is usually right, I'm usually wrong. So I was like, brooke, see, I knew it. She had a twin. And she goes, I ate her in the womb.

I ate my twin that I ate in the womb.

Yeah.

[Clara]

Yes. Meaning, like, you know, originally, like, not actually, but then it morphed into one. I feel like this happened.

She didn't actually eat, but, you know, comedic relief absorbed her. Yeah, she absorbed her.

So somehow that came up, though. She's like, well, you know, my twin that I. And Danielle was like, I knew it. I knew you had a twin. She's blonde.

I'm looking at her.

I want to know more about her. And Clara just starts, like, laughing. She's like, I. I definitely don't Have a twin. I. She's definitely not blonde. I actually don't know what you're referring to.

And I was like, I've seen photos of her, like, in college. I. I'm picturing this photo of her in college in a kitchen, and she goes, danielle, that's a photo of me from college. Blonde. And I was like, yes.

That she herself posted as a photo Venmo profile. It is her Venmo profile. And she posted this picture, like, on her story one day. It was like, TBT to when I was blonde. So you must have, like, subconsciously absorbed this photo and been, like, absorbed. You absorbed Callback Indian, absorbed the photo into your inner conscience and said, that is so. So now we keep joking around. The Claire is an evil twin that she's blonde and that's her alter ego. Like, so we're like, oh, yes, Clara's evil blonde twin would do that.

So if you're ever wondering what's going on in my brain, I'm just saying people have twins that don't have twins.

But it was a valid question. To be fair, we didn't really know all the family lore and stuff. So that was like, you know, I'm glad we unpacked. Unpacking.

We're getting there. Yeah. Which is crazy. That's another thing that is so crazy that you could be really, like, such, like, close friends with someone and really not know.

Like, you know, because people choose what they want to talk about. Totally. There's probably something. I mean, I feel like I know just about everything about you, but there's probably something, maybe not with Katie that.

We don't know from her childhood. She said something recently. She doesn't know what Four Corners is. There was actually a couple people at the pool the other day. I, like, joked, actually, Was I joking? I love games. I was like, we should play Four Corners. I know. Five years old. Okay. And they're like. And Katie was like. Like, what's Four Corners? I thought she was Jo. I thought she was pranking me.

Like, I'm really happy that we're staying in East Hampton rather than Montauk. I think that Montauk we've been going to a lot, and we will be going there this weekend to go out because that's where a lot of the out stuff is. However, I feel like I'm. I know I'm in New York, transplant, and I'm out here, whatever. But I'm even seeing a difference from when we did Montauk three years ago. Four. Four. And three years ago. That it's like, even busier there now. And I feel like I've heard that even the line for, like, Left Hand Coffee, which is a place we love, is, like, seriously, 50 people. And I'm not gonna be like, oh, no, they're all out here. But selfishly, I'm happy that we're in East Hampton, because East Hampton is right before Montauk, and Montauk is the end, and we can kind of, like, go into Montauk when we want. And the East Hampton town is so cute. And I just, like, love this life out here. Driving around and being in this house.

[Clara]

Yeah, it's lovely. This is a different part of the Hamptons than I've, like, really ever stayed in. I mean, it's still, like, East Hampton, which I guess. Yeah. Yeah, it's. But it's. It's really. We're in the woods. I mean, we are in the woods. In the woods. There are plenty of deer. They're. They're here.

So many deer, so many bugs.

Clara has been. I will say Claire's been a lovely roommate in the sense that she is so good. She was like, took care of the bug. She's like, I saw the biggest mosquito, but she doesn't tell me. She's not like, ah, mosquito. Like, she takes care of it. And then she tells me she knows. She knows how to deal.

She's working as well. But, yeah. So that's been really fun. We've been just, like, going to New York Plotties in the morning and then going to get coffee, which has been really lovely. Last weekend, we had such a fun weekend. We went out to Mary Lou's, which is like a new club in Montauk, which was a blast. I'm trying to think. We saw Chris Appleton, Mr. Hairstylist. Really beautiful man, honestly. And then who else did we see? Oh, like, there was some Southern charm people around. We went to Surf Lodge. Went to Surf Lodge and had an incredible experience.

Last year, I did it when Brooke wasn't here, but I did a table with our friends, and it was a blast. It was so expensive. So then I was like, I won't go again unless maybe we have the privilege of getting invited by someone or. It just, like, feels right. And so tomorrow we potentially have plans to go to Surf Lodge again, but I'm panicked because I have, like, three of my friends coming. Katie's got some friends coming. Ben's coming. Like, we just want to make sure, like, Brooke was invited, I was invited, our friends were invited. But we're all just trying to make sure. We all. There seem to be tears with these surf lodge things. It's like, oh, did you get the beach?

With everything?

Look, there's tears with everything. And coming to terms with the fact that I personally never seem to be in the top tier is. It's a tough realization to come to. It's shocking. No, it's not. It's not shocking, but it's like, you know, you get there, you think you have, like. You're like, oh, my God, I'm all set.

Suddenly you're not. It's never good enough.

It's not. It's like, oh, there's always one more thing. Like, you had that. Oh, Brooke was just a lala.

Yeah. Lollapalooza, you know, I get a VIP wristband. Let's go vip. VIP chilling in the VIP section. I look up the platinum section, you know, with the seats and the AC.

And the buffet, there's always something more.

My God. I thought that it. You're like, no, but it goes. Comparison really is the thief, because I was. I was good in my own little world over there. Is there a bug?

I'm, like, skinning my elbow. I didn't even realize this.

We're putting ourselves through challenges over here.

It's gonna be so worth it.

So. So basically, you're stressed because you want everyone to have a good time.

I'm stressed because I want everyone to have a good time. And I can only do so much, though. I can control my, you know, my ducklings, and that's all I can do. And so I'm just having to come to terms with that of, like, I think when we do these Hamptons houses. It's like, you know, we're all trying to make sure that everyone's having fun, but then it's like, I should be able to have fun. Fun, too. Not that I would. Let me be clear. I'm not gonna go to Surf Lodge without my friends. But we're just trying to all, like, our whole group is trying to figure it out, and it's like, we're just trying to make sure we have the most amazing weekend ever. So Surf Lodge, we will see. I mean, you guys will know by the time this is up, you'll know if we made it, if we made it to the deck, because I'm gonna be so for real. I'm not. I don't want to get turned down at Surf Lodge.

You've been triple checking, she said, confirming that I will have wristbands. Confirming that I will have wristbands. And I'm like, I didn't even know about these wristbands, but I, I.

But that's like my little panic of, like, I think just, like, in general, having the house and wanting to make sure everyone has fun, of course. But also making sure that I'm still having fun. Because, you know, when you're hosting, like, I'm so scared on my wedding day, I'm gonna be so stressed about everyone else, except for me.

Best. Well, you, Daniel is 10, so that's gonna be tough. But you know, for the beat people, like, I think just so that like, you know, plans can be in motion for like a celebration, a gift. It's just like generals and people won't.

Yeah. I mean, and you could do your own thing, but like Matt, once again, Max Wilman Maxwellman. He told us that he would be. Remember two summers ago when they came to the Hamptons? He pulled Danielle and I aside at the club. At the club, very casually and was like, look, look, look, look. I'm Gretchen. I are going to Italy. This will be the day. I'm proposing we're gonna have an engagement party probably a month after that.

That was the. My parents one rule. Because they saw something on the news that was the MySpace murders. And they're like, if you get on.

Everyone has different rules in their house. Like, I couldn't have computers in my room, but my friends, we could have computers in the room.

And. And some parents were very aloof. They have no idea what's going on.

[Danielle]

Like, oh, have fun, girls.

And some are very involved, so I.

[Danielle]

Feel like some lock up the liquor, you know, it just depends.

[Clara]

Yes, you're so right. Some lock the back door on the house. Others leave it wide open. The back door.

[Danielle]

Brooke, I. I want to know what you've been panicked about this week.

[Clara]

So I went to Lollapalooza this week. Music festival in Chicago. We went four years ago now, and I remember loving it then. But I was really drunk. I was really drunk.

[Danielle]

So I. Yeah, we were pre gaming. We were with, like, TK we were doing it differently.

[Clara]

So much fun. So I was like, am I really gonna like it this time, or was it just because I was drunk? I really love it. It's a fantastic. Someone's backing into the driveway. The back door. Do you Hear it.

[Danielle]

Do you think it's probably some packages.

[Clara]

Yes.

[Danielle]

Very exciting pack package day. There's so many packages in this house, you guys. Because there's, like, five influencers.

[Clara]

Yeah. You guys get a lot of packages.

[Danielle]

So many.

[Clara]

So many big packages, too.

[Danielle]

Yeah. Because we're buying, like, big.

[Clara]

Yes. Much, much bigger.

[Danielle]

Much bigger. You know, you wouldn't. You wouldn't know. So you were like, last time I went.

[Clara]

Last time, I went so drunk. I can. Cannot stress that enough. But this time. So fun. My one panic was that I had. And I had it on for the longest, literally all the time. My phone charm thing, like, I had, like, a loop, like, with beads on it.

[Danielle]

Yes. It was so cute.

[Clara]

And that was an extension of me at this point. Like, I had it on for about, you know, two months. It was so good. It was like a little wristlet that kind of went on my phone own. I didn't. I thought that that thing was rock solid.

[Danielle]

Me too.

[Clara]

I mean, it was made out of rocks, basically.

[Danielle]

I noticed it's gone now.

[Clara]

Yes.

[Danielle]

Yeah.

[Clara]

Because in the bathroom, I have it on my wrist. I wasn't even paying attention. I think I leaned over the sink to wash my hands. All of a sudden, literally let the bodies hit the floor. Every single bead, like, it ripped. It must have been 250 beads. I'm not exaggerating. Just all over the floor in various directions. There's a line out the door. There's people. Like, it was the most embarrassing moment of my life, because then I was like, holy. Do I to crawl on this bathroom floor and pick up every individual bead.

[Danielle]

Oh, there's nothing worse because you're like. So everyone saw me, and now they have an expectation of what I'm supposed to do.

[Clara]

I don't want them to trip and fall on the beads.

[Danielle]

No, no, we can't have hazards. No.

[Clara]

They're like, oh, my God. Sliding on the beads.

[Danielle]

Like, is it one of those, like, trailer things?

[Clara]

Bathroom. And my beads are everywhere. What would you do in that case?

[Danielle]

I would look around and see what people are expecting me to do. I would. I would. I would assess.

[Clara]

I had mixed messaging. There was one person who was really, you know, like, oof. Like, what are you gonna. Like, what are you gonna do? And there was one girl who. She was my queen, my angel. And she's like, literally, as long as it's not in anybody's way, you should just, like, kick them out of the way.

[Danielle]

So I think I would have done that.

[Clara]

And I picked up a few and Then I said, no, no, the floor is very, very, very much, much dirtier, much, much sturdier. It was very dirty. So I just kicked the beads around and. But just the awkwardness of that moment, I can't. I just, I think I was just feeling, feeling good, you know. And then that happened. I was like, wow, I am a loser.

[Danielle]

It's so vulnerable. Like dropping something. Seriously. And then just everyone watching or like. I was at the grocery store recently, I dropped a thing of meatballs and.

[Clara]

It'S like, slam open.

[Danielle]

Some came out. Yeah. Oh yeah. And thankfully it was at Citarella and the guy came over immediately. I mean, they don't have rubber bands like there. He felt bad.

[Clara]

Look, look, look, it's no one's fault. I'm just letting you know.

[Danielle]

No, it was so embarrassing. But I'm glad he like saw me and like brought over paper towels and like he knew what to do because I was like, look, I don't know what to do.

[Clara]

Like, help me.

[Danielle]

I am in Cinderella.

[Clara]

Yeah, no, I didn't know what to do either. There's no rule book for situations like that. Like, that's the thing. I wish that there was like a right and wrong.

[Danielle]

If you drop your beads, seriously, like, if you like, how are you to know if you drop your drink? Like, oh, it's always so awkward.

[Clara]

Awkward.

[Danielle]

Yeah. So. Wow. Well, I'm so sorry. You don't.

[Clara]

Oh, it's totally, totally okay. Lala. So amazing. I cannot tell you. I just love the music festival. It's so great. It was busy. It was busy. Like, and I, I don't think it was that busy when we went. I really don't. I. Yeah, I remember being like a popular music festival, but it was, you know, walking one stage to another. It was. Yes. Like you were in a big pack.

[Danielle]

Like trying to all get to the next set. Yeah. Yep. The lineup was stacked. Like Brooke would be like, like, oh, and T Pain came on. Oh. Then Sabrina Carpenter and I was like. And then someone else. You said. I was like, oh, two friends. I can't all. I would have just loved to be there.

[Clara]

So I'm so glad it was drone shows. It was so many. I saw Rufus to Soul finally, which I was really, really excited about cuz I really want.

[Danielle]

Like, that's a magical experience.

[Clara]

Oh, it was spiritual.

[Danielle]

It was very Zen transcended.

[Clara]

It was transcendent. And I was basically sober the whole weekend. I like, seriously, I. I believe you. No, no. And I feel like that's like music festivals in your late 20s. Like, I feel like I used to be, like, I have to get so drunk for this to have a good time.

[Danielle]

Then you don't remember it or like.

[Clara]

Yeah, no. And that's. It is fun to get that drunk too. Look, look me this weekend. But also, it's long days on your feet. Like, you know, you get to a certain.

[Danielle]

Your phone's running low, you're hot.

[Clara]

Yeah.

[Danielle]

You're chugging water.

[Clara]

Better to just. Oh. And then I became addicted to. Well, Well, I think because of my medication. Wellbutrin.

[Danielle]

Rainbow.

[Clara]

My Wellbutrin. I've been getting overheated more easily, which is the thing that happens.

[Danielle]

Yeah. Too into that workout class. That happens.

[Clara]

Yes. And I just, I sense it, you know, when I feel like I'm like, oh, I feel a little. Which I don't love. Hopefully that adjusts soon.

I, I really liked it when we went last time because, like, Chicago in the summer. So fun mixed with, like, such great music. I feel like it was a better lineup than, like, Gov Was.

[Clara]

And you can do Chicago during the day and then go at night. Like you could really. Oh. And this year I didn't take advantage of this, but they made it that you can go in and out.

[Danielle]

You're lying.

[Clara]

So if you want to go to someone at 2pm, go home, go back for the headliners.

[Danielle]

Like that's really nice that they did that because I feel bad for the people that are at 2pm I know. I bet there's. There's been people that I want to see. I'm like, I'm not getting there that early.

[Clara]

Yeah. Cuz then you're there all day and you're locked and.

[Danielle]

Yeah. And Chicago is easier where like you can just step. Like it's literally in the city.

[Clara]

It's in the middle, it's.

[Danielle]

Whereas not a lot of festivals are like that.

[Clara]

No, that's why it's the best festival. Because it's literally in the middle of everything and just, it's. The energy is just right. It's so good. Yeah.

[Danielle]

Are you enjoying the pool?

[Clara]

I am. This is maybe the most. I've been in the pool all summer.

[Danielle]

Yeah. I don't think you've been in the pool yet. Like here, here. Because it's been cloudy. I haven't.

[Clara]

Yeah. I went in the pool other times this summer. I did go.

[Danielle]

Yeah, no, of course, of course, of course. It's just such a beautiful day. I wonder what the UV is. I wonder if our back is just getting roasted. Do you put on sunscreen?

[Clara]

No. And I don't want to talk about it.

[Danielle]

I forgot. You know, I just had that thought.

[Clara]

Just now, literally all of the time.

[Danielle]

But my back is like. I'm always focused on tanning my front. I feel like, like I'm always laying on my back.

[Clara]

Your face is tan. You're very tan right now. I Very, very tan.

[Danielle]

I tried to tan my face the other day because you don't want to do that too much. It's like roasting marshmallow. Like you can't let it be too much because then it just burns it and then it peels. And nothing's worse than your face peeling because then the makeup gets all like flaky. So you gotta like really do it in doses.

[Clara]

I'm. I'm at the age where I'm more concerned about the hyperpigmentation. I feel like in the long lasting, like I'm trying to like.

[Danielle]

Yeah, I'm about. Yeah. When you're much older. Very much, much older. When I get to that stage.

[Clara]

Yes. When you're when you're much, much older. Maybe that's. That would be a, you know, something that you would consider too.

[Danielle]

Exactly.

[Clara]

Big sister. No, but I also didn't put on sunscreen. I'm not perfect, but honestly, I don't spend a lot of time in the sun. Like, I really. I. I can't stress that enough.

[Danielle]

Indoor outdoor cat.

[Clara]

[Danielle]

Yeah, I was thinking about it more. I think you already said you, like, wouldn't do this, but like, I could see you with like a little kitty cat. I've met some that I like recently.

[Clara]

I would love it. Ben is allergic.

[Danielle]

Allergic. Yeah. He's not allergic to dogs though, but dogs.

[Clara]

Some dogs. Some dogs. Dogs.

[Danielle]

But like, everyone's a little. Are you really allergic?

[Clara]

No, my mom is allergic to cats. So I actually do get that.

[Danielle]

I'm not talking about the cats. Dog.

[Clara]

Oh, sorry. Okay. They're like, no, some. But I think it's some dogs. Like, it's like, isn't it like the fur versus the hair versus the probably.

[Danielle]

And there's like hypoallergenic dogs.

[Clara]

Right?

[Danielle]

There actually are hypoallergenic cats.

[Clara]

You have a hypoallergenic dog?

[Danielle]

I have. I've always had a hypoallergenic dog. Just for fun.

[Clara]

Just for the bit of it.

[Danielle]

No, because the dogs that I like are.

[Clara]

They happen to be. They happen really all the time.

[Danielle]

They are just little designer dogs.

[Clara]

They are. Yeah. I definitely did not. I had a lab and the hair was everywhere literally all the time.

[Danielle]

That's like a thing me and Ryan disagree on often. Like, I am like, he just wants a dog with tons of shedding hair. And I'm like, are you gonna clean that up? No, it's gonna be me. It's gonna be me vacuuming it up.

[Clara]

I think that my parents were cleaning literally all the time. Because I feel like it wasn't everywhere, but he. It was coming off everywhere.

[Danielle]

You know what I mean? Like, even Kelly here with her dog. Like, I haven't like said anything, but she's just constantly vacuuming. Cuz I think she just wants to make sure everyone feels good.

[Clara]

Oh, that's nice.

[Danielle]

But like, yeah, it's another thing to like fixate on that. I don't think I could do it.

[Clara]

Literally all the time.

[Danielle]

Literally all of the time. I feel like that's like when you're a kid and you want. You say, mom, like, can we please get a dog? And it's like, are you gonna take the dog out every time? No, it always ends up being the parents that walk the dog early in the morning, like, do those things, like, take them to the vet.

[Clara]

Yeah.

[Danielle]

So.

[Clara]

Well, you have to do. Yeah, you have to do, like, the hard. The hard jobs and, like, someone's got to pick up the poop. Kids doesn't want to do that. Probably.

[Danielle]

Yes. And I. I have a little bit of a wave. I probably could. I need to figure out my configuration of products to make it a little bit better, but I loved it. So if you have, like, you know, naturally, like a little wavy, maybe curly hair, maybe try this product.

No. Your hair looked really good yesterday or. Yeah, the last two days it looked so, so good. And I'm so glad you liked it.

It's a little poofy, but I. I'm trying to mitigate that and make it more. More like curls. I think that that's like a gel. I need to figure out what that product is to like.

No, but I think that if you ha. If you do it right, it can be like, I'm pretty. Everyone says, like, you know, if you handle it right, like, over time.

Twisted and scrunch. There's like, all these things upside down, and you plop ex. Yes. There's all these things all the time. Literally all the time. My Glam on the go is a product that I'm just. I'm noticing anything that has a pump these days, it's my favorite thing. I am always here for something easy, and I was just gifted the Tatcha silk serum. Did you get this?

No, I. I did, but. That sounds lovely.

Yeah. It reminds me of their. The purple jar, that water buttercream.

[Clara]

Yeah.

It's not the gel, it's the cream, and it's. It seems like it's just that because it's that, like, light purple color, but it's just in a pump, and it's more of a serum. And while I've been here in the Hamptons, I just kind of want to put. I just brush up my eyebrows with some gel, and I put on the Tatcha silk serum, and I feel like it gives a nice glow.

[Clara]

Yes.

[Danielle]

And then my skin's moisturized. Got the skin barrier a little bit, and I just really like it. I've been using it to skin prep before makeup. I really. Kelly and I are trying to find time where I do my makeup in front of her, and. And she tells me what I'm doing wrong, so I'm curious to see what she thinks because she's a makeup artist, so we'll see. But that's my glam on the go. I love it because it's on the go.
