Obviously she regrets it.
C
Be the bigger person. Don't talk about. Whoops.
B
I feel like I should talk about it.
C
I was like, no, no, no, no, no, no.
B
I don't know. We can cut this. I don't know if this is bad to say.
C
I wanted to give an update.
B
Oh, we all have those thoughts.
C
Underestimate how much you sweat on a dance floor.
B
Know how it gets with bro. Danielle, is that the Empire State Building?
C
They act like it's their first day on earth. Foreign.
B
Hello, you guys. What's up? Welcome back to Gals on the Go podcast. I'm Danielle.
C
And I'm Brooke. Happy Wednesday.
B
Happy Wednesday. I'm so excited to be talking to you. Me too. I love Gals in the Go.
C
Me too.
B
I'll say it.
C
It's.
B
I'll say it.
C
Hopefully there's someone out there that also does. Like, can someone else say it? Anybody out there?
B
I'm just so proud. Like, I just like, we've kept this going for so long and we just. I feel like a lot of times when I meet people in person, they're like, I listen to Gals in the go.
C
No, I love your. When you see post stories and you're like, met someone listening, I'm like, oh, they're out there.
B
Yeah, that's really crazy. Meeting people and they're like, I'm literally listening to Gals and Go right now.
C
So great.
B
That's so cool.
C
It's so fun. I love podcasting. Honestly, like, that's really fun. Probably one of my favorite parts of my job.
B
Yes, it's fun. We get to just sit and chat. I was like. I was like giddy on my way here.
C
I've been describing it recently. I've been asked by a Few people. I, like, got into a chat with my neighbor. Like, you know, like, you see your neighbors and, like.
B
Yeah.
C
You kind of have an idea of, like, what their life is. Like, I've lived across from this person for two years, and, like.
B
Right.
C
You know, I've seen pets. Like, whatever.
B
Yeah.
C
But, like, we got into a chat. Like, I. I was talking about, like, Ben's job, and then he was like, what do you do for work? I was like, wow. Really?
B
Wow.
C
You know, I guess we've never, like, said what we like.
B
Right.
C
I just, like, created a whole story in my mind of, like, what his life was like, what he did and stuff.
B
Probably one very different.
C
Very different.
B
Oh, than when he told you.
C
Yeah. Like, I just. My imagination runs wild. I think that that's really true. But I said. Oh. So I was describing our podcast, and I don't know why I was like, it's a comedy podcast.
B
You know what?
C
I love it. Would you describe it as a comedy?
B
Well, we went through this because we have a. On Spotify, there's different categories, and we. I think we did put one of them as comedy.
C
Like, I. I wanted to be clear that, like, it wasn't inform.
B
Informational.
C
So I was like, it's like comedy.
B
Yeah. It's like silly girl talk. I always say. Girl talk, I say.
C
But then some people are like, oh. Like, oh, no, no, no, it's not.
B
Ems.
C
Like, no. Yeah.
B
Which we do talk about. Yeah. But it's like, it's like your two best friends talking to you. And I think we're funny sometimes. And I think there's giggles.
C
Yeah.
B
No, that's cute. Yeah. I do a comedy podcast, but then
C
I didn't want to be like, well, you're not funny, you know?
B
Yeah, no, I know. It's terrifying.
C
I have the pressure, like, every time.
B
I know.
C
In the elevator, I got to do my quick 10.
B
Yeah. Get your quick 10. Oh, that's really funny. Well, I have a story that I've been sitting on.
C
I'm sad.
B
It's nothing that actually happened. It's what I thought was going to happen. Oh, imagine it involves you.
C
Oh.
B
So it was your birthday.
C
Okay.
B
And I initially wasn't gonna be in town for it. Whatever. And then changed my flight. Whatever. And you were like, oh, actually, yeah, you should come over. Ben and I are gonna do, like, I got a brand deal for an outdoor, like, meal. Yeah. And then Sal and his girlfriend are going to join immediately. I'm like, she's getting engaged tonight. I literally. I don't think I worked it up so much in my head that you were going to get. I'm like, ryan, oh, my God. She's doing. She has a brand deal for Outdoor, like, entertainment. Ben is totally. He totally worked with her. Manager to set. No, Brooke, I was so convinced.
C
Oh, my God. That would have been. Honestly, it would have been perfect because I was, like, actually been perfect.
B
No, it was like, I don't think you understand. Like, I was with people that day. I was like, I think Brook's getting engaged tonight. I'm sending snaps, Snapchats to people. I even vlogged it. And then I cut it out of the vlog because I wanted to say it on the podcast.
C
I didn't know that that was even a thought, but it does make sense. I was like, my brother's coming, you know?
B
Yeah. I was like, her parents could quickly come right after. Like, it's like, I, I, I was. That's why I was like, is Katie coming tonight? Like, I was so I was like, who else? No, because. No. And then that's why I was like, what are you wearing? And you're like, I'm wearing a dress. I'm like, oh, my God, I wonder if Ben. But then I was like, surely Ben would tell me the day of the.
C
Sure, I did. I've given this man a lot of parameters. He's like, he told me, I can't do it here. I can't do it here. It was my birthday. I didn't want him to propose on my birthday.
B
I had that thought. Yeah.
C
You know, so I gave a lot of.
B
So you did say, not on my birthday. So you knew. Okay.
C
I don't want the engagement anniversary to my birthday.
B
No, I know.
C
It was just so bad. No, no, but I understand what you're saying. It would have been the perfect setup. Oh, my God.
B
No, Like, Brooke, I. I thought it was happening up until I was in the car and you texted me and Sal and you were like, it's a little windy. We're gonna go inside. I was like, oh, like, it would have canceled. Yeah. I thought you were gonna get engaged. And then we were gonna get. I thought you were gonna get engaged at, like, 6, and we were arriving at 6:30 for dinner. Like, I don't think you understand.
C
Wow, that is genius, though. Like, that would have been, like, the perfect plan. No, I. The brand, it was through the LTK platform. Like, I. It was. It was embedded in the app. Like, there's no way that that could have been.
B
Yeah, true, true. But I don't I don't think you understand. Like, I, I literally. And then we walked in and Ben was wearing an all white outfit. I was like, maybe it could still happen. I was like, wow, you. I was like, but Brooke doesn't want that. But I just need you to.
C
It was intimate enough. It was like, I mean, it really,
B
it would have been perfect, honestly.
C
And his girlfriend, like, were coming over for dinner and then like, you said you were going to be. And I was like, oh, I haven't seen you in a minute.
B
Like, yeah, it was Brooke. But then I was like, oh, my God, I wonder if Brooke thinks it too. Because all of a sudden I can come. Like, the mind is so powerful.
C
That is so, so all of a
B
sudden I was like, oh, flighting now.
C
Oh, wow.
B
But you didn't even think it at all because you had said, don't propose on my birthday. So.
C
Yeah. And I just, we had just gotten back from Japan. I was like, there's no way this guy gets shit together that fast.
B
Like, I, but it also would have thrown you off because you wouldn't have been thinking it. No, I, you're right.
C
That would have. Yeah. And we both were talking about how tired we were. We were both like, I'm literally barely keeping my eyes open.
B
True. So maybe he was going to and it wasn't. Who knows? He'll never tell me.
C
Wow, that is, that would have been so smart. My God, you should have like, fed him that idea.
B
I know. I almost wanted to text him the day before, but I was, I was too scared. Yeah. I need, I want his trust. But that made me feel better. I was like, okay, so maybe he will tell me when he's proposing to you. I don't know.
C
I don't know. I don't know. I, I, he, he said you that I can't be. Like, he was like, please stop asking questions.
B
Yeah, you can't ask questions. For sure. Yeah. And I said, okay, Yeah, I won't ask questions either. I know.
C
Because people are upset I didn't get proposed to in Japan. I said, guys, I literally told him, asked for that. I literally asked. I said, please do not propose. Like, yes, I.
B
Most likely Japan.
C
Most likely Japan. Most likely her birthday.
B
Most likely.
C
Most likely after graduation. Like, there's so many times now, like, is it most likely this?
B
Whatever it is kind of crazy. So now are you just kind of like, I'm ready.
C
Yeah. But like at the same time, I'm like, like, I don't know. Like, are things ordered is right. Possession of an item. Like, I do not know any of that. I do not know any of that. And I don't really. I'm trying not to medal and be like, so you know.
B
No, and you shouldn't. I'm meddling right now. I'm like, so stirring the pot.
C
You're like, that would have been like the perfect scenario.
B
It was perfect. I was like, I. I literally was convinced it was happening. When you said, you're wearing a little dress and we're eating outside, I.
C
It was like just such a last minute birthday. That's why I like, came together. I was like, I have to like, film this clip outside.
B
I know. And then I was like, well, if this came from her, then no. But then I was like, it could be a fake brand deal. Which I think if you're an influencer and you're getting engaged, do the fake brand deal. A fake brand event that you're meeting Haley Bieber or something. Seriously, like, they'll get so dressed up, they'll be ready to go for sure.
C
I've definitely brought that idea up before because I've seen a few people.
B
Yeah.
C
Do it where they, like, know they have the graphic they're signing, whatever. The manager's in on it too.
B
Yes. I love that. It's like, honestly, one of the best ways. Especially people. I guess we're very like, on our. With like, organization and calendar. It's like, you can't really get much past us. No, you can't. You have to tell Ben. I was going to tell it that night, but then I was like, I want to wait till the podcast too soon. And I was like, what if he was planning on doing it tonight after we leave? Like, I was so.
C
Oh, my God. He was like, you ruined my plans.
B
No. And I was telling my friends. I was like, literally Snapchat my friends. And they were like, oh, my God, keep us updated. So actually, one of my friends text me, Delaney, text me an invisible ink. Like, did it it happen?
C
That's so funny. Wow. That's so funny. They're on the edge of their seat.
B
I know.
C
They're sad.
B
I know. I was just like, I can't believe I worked it up in my head.
C
So that's so funny. Wow.
B
I should. I should pull the vlog clips and like, send it to you or something.
C
That would have been iconic if you had those.
B
That's why I vlogged it, because I was like, God forbid, like, if they do get engaged tonight.
C
Oh, my God. For the memory.
B
It's like instead of you being like, get ready with me because I think I'm getting engaged. I'm like, get ready with me because my friend I think is getting engaged, but I have no idea.
C
Damn. No.
B
Would you do that video? Like, if you had an idea you're getting engaged, would you be like, guys, I think I'm getting.
C
Yeah. I think I feel I would, but I wouldn't.
B
I don't think you're gonna know, though.
C
I. I feel I'm not gonna see it coming.
B
No, I don't think so.
C
I feel like a lot of things. Like, I'm tough, guys. Like, that's the thing. One thing about me, I'm tough. Like, yeah, it's hard to surprise me. It's hard to get. But also, like, I'll show another engagement, and I certainly don't want anything like this. And he's like, okay, scratch that off the list. Like, certainly. You know what I mean?
B
Like, there's only a few little pockets.
C
No, I'm making it harder and harder for him. So, like, that's also the thing. Like, I get it.
B
I'm like, by the way, just watch out for when I want to get engaged. I'd be the same way.
C
Yeah.
B
If not worse. You're pretty chill.
C
Yeah, well, because I was like, I don't want the big letters. Like, will you.
B
Oh, yeah, me.
C
And he was like, oh, you don't want that. I was like, no, no, no, no, no, no.
B
You saw the fear in his eyes. Like, I already ordered them.
C
Like, they're setting it up right now.
B
Yeah. That is pretty crazy. I guess. Yeah. Starting now. Maybe you can't do that anymore. Right?
C
Like, like, request.
B
Request.
C
The. The.
B
I feel like now it's go time.
C
Yeah.
B
And we'll be on the edge of our seat, and that might require an emergency episode.
C
Oh, my God. I think it would. I don't know. I don't want everyone to, like, be sad, though. Like, and be like, oh, my God, it's coming. And, like, like, you're right.
B
You're right.
C
Okay. I'm really working it up, most likely this summer.
B
Like, yeah, it could be. It could be. It literally could be anytime now.
C
There's no more, like, hard date. Like, as long as it's not Mariah's wedding day. Like, that's literally my hard date parameter. I'm like, just not on the day of her wedding.
B
Like, yeah, like, no, it'll. It'll happen at the right time.
C
Yeah.
B
Hey, chill. Hey.
C
We're also in the middle of, like, like I said, wedding Season for my friends. I have some other friends that are in the same, like, I don't want to say debacle, because it's, like, a blessing, obviously. But I. I have one friend who's in all a lot of these weddings, and she's in the same position. She's been dating her boyfriend for a while, and, like, I think she was like, oh, my God. Like, everyone's asking me why, when? But, like, I want mine to be a moment. And, like, right now is not the moment. I'm, you know, busy with all this. Like, I want to wait until.
B
So your moment. 100. There's match day. You're having so many moments right now.
C
Moments. Big moments.
B
No, I completely agree.
C
Wow. That was. Oh, my God. I didn't even know that this was all happening. Were you, like, live texting at the. Like, you were. One second. Like, you're, like, not happening.
B
When I went to the bathroom at one point, I Snapchatted. Like, guys, it didn't. No, like, it was a. It was a thing. Like, I. I really thought it was happening.
C
That's really. That would have been. That really would have been good because I was like, oh, my brother's coming.
B
Yeah. But, like, it's. It didn't. And that's okay. And it was your birthday, and you gave a parameter. So I did.
C
And you gave me a wonderful birthday gift. You gave me an option of that. Didn't know. You crush it.
B
Oh, no, seriously.
C
I've been using it. I've been using it nonstop. I'm like, yeah, new wallet. Danielle got it.
B
Danny got it. Yeah, well, because she. You guys heard on the podcast. She told me because I straight up asked. I was like, what do you want? So I had so much fun. So I got her, like, a. Well, first I got. Found this Prada wallet, which was perfect. It's. It was considered a card holder. But then it came in the mail, and it was a little bit bigger. But we know Brooke likes a cash.
C
I got it. I like a zippered pocket for the cash.
B
Like, zip a pocket. But then I. It came, and I was like, oh, my God. Like, God forbid. So I was like, I'm just gonna run over to Mew Mew. God forbid. How many times have I said God forbid? Ran over to Mew Mew, and I was like, show me your card. Pulls out. I mean, there were literally so many. And he kept pulling ones out, and I was like, no, she likes to carry cash. And finally he goes, how much cash does this woman carry? Like, I feel like this would suffice. And I was like, no, no. She doesn't just put one bill in there. She needs, like, dollars. Like, oh, that's so funny.
C
He's like, we don't offer that anymore. Like, no one carries cash.
B
So then I went back, and I was. And I told him. I was so honest. I was like, look, I got her one from Prada, too. And Prada is owned by Mew Mew Vice. Like, their own.
C
Honest with them. Like, I'm gonna be honest.
B
I might come back and return this. I don't know. I'm gonna let her choose. And he was like, okay, I think she's gonna pick this one. I go back, and of course he was there. I was like, oh, sorry, my guy. Like, return. It's okay. I bought sunglasses that I really wanted, so you returned credit, so. Yeah.
C
Okay.
B
So fun for me.
C
Yeah.
B
But he was like, wow. I was like, yes, she went with the Prada.
C
Yeah. Sorry.
B
I'm glad you're liking it, though.
C
I love it. I. It's. Seriously. Thank you. You nailed it. I know that was a difficult assignment.
B
I was scared, and I literally was like, if you don't like either of them, that's okay, too.
C
Yeah. Wonderful. That was a wonderful birthday gift.
B
I had fun.
C
It was, like, since we had just gotten back from the trip, like, I didn't really make a big birthday thing. Like.
B
Yeah.
C
And then Ben was referring to that. Like, I saw my other friends this weekend. He was like, well, Brooke's birthday party. I was like, wasn't a party. No.
B
Please. Yeah. Can't be offended.
C
No. I was like, no. Just so we're clear, there was no party.
B
Yeah, it was my pizza.
C
No, it was four friends gathering. Two of them family.
B
Yeah. Yeah.
C
No, it was definitely very chill. We went through every Japan photo, actually, on the, like. Because you could. Airplay. I've never done that.
B
It was the cutest. Like, And Ben kind of. He was like, do you guys want to see the photos? And he brought out the iPad.
C
He's really excited.
B
And seriously, you guys would keep checking in, like, are you guys bored? I was literally not bored. Me and Ryan left. Like, that was so much fun. It just felt so wholesome. When was the. Because we follow each other on Instagram and stuff. But there were so many photos I hadn't seen, because there's so many that,
C
like, are, like, trying, so.
B
Yeah.
C
Like, that. You're like, oh, I wouldn't post this, but, like, it's.
B
It was so cool.
C
Yes.
B
And you guys would like to, like, Ben would be like, okay, no, I'm gonna airplay now and like take over like showing photos different days and stuff. Yeah, it was.
C
That was, that was highly suggest doing that.
B
Yeah, that was really fun sitting down and hearing all about the trip.
C
I feel like our families are gonna make us do that too because like, I feel like they want to hear like. Yeah, I've like told my mom like a little bit about it.
B
You should do that. The full experience.
C
I didn't even say in the last episode that there were multiple. So many. I'm curious what you have to think about this because I know your mom is like. Your mom really travels. Like she's like well traveled and stuff. But there were multiple moments in Japan where Ben I were like, our parents would hate this.
B
Oh yeah.
C
Like just the lines.
B
Yeah. Oh my God, the lines.
C
The. No like reservations. Yeah, like crazy. Just like them Just so many things that I feel like, you know, it's like a younger. Like travel is so cool that we're so hip to that they would be like, I can't get behind.
B
Yeah. I don't care about this TikTok scene Sandwich. Like.
C
Yes. They're like, I'm not waiting an hour for that.
B
Yeah, yeah. No, I. I think my mom would be the same way. I mean, there comes a point.
C
Yeah.
B
She would wait in line to like see the Buddha for sure.
C
Oh, she would like all that stuff. Yeah, you're right. You're right.
B
She would do more of that.
C
Yeah.
B
But. Yeah. So you've been to weddings recently.
C
I've been to weddings. So fun. I feel like, you know, you don't. It's underestimated how much you sweat on a dance floor. I know you must be burning like a thousand calories, right?
B
I think you might be because I. On the dance floor wet. Yeah. Like, especially if you're wearing like a light. I guess you're wearing a blue dress. Was it showing? No, it wasn't under your.
C
No, cuz it was.
B
Thank God. Luckily, like, you know. Oh my God. We know how it gets with Brooke.
C
Yeah. Like two wings. Like. Yeah. No.
B
Yeah.
C
Like anybody else hot? Like. No.
B
Oh, it's so fun to dance on the dance floor.
C
Fun to dance. And so it's like literally the same group of friends I'm seeing like all these weeks after each other.
B
So we were like 10, two weeks.
C
Like when we was like.
B
Oh, yeah. Because you saw them in Charleston and then you were in North Carolina for this wedding and then you got Mariah's wedding coming up. That's really exciting.
C
And then after that, I have weddings
B
every other week after Mariah's.
C
Yeah.
B
Holy shit.
C
Yeah. Friends, Cousins, Ben's friends.
B
Wow.
C
So the fun never ends. Yes. We're really in it.
B
The year of the weddings.
C
I wanted to talk about. I wanted to give an update on the girl who. The girl who posted online about us. People were asking for.
B
Yeah. Honestly. Yeah.
C
And the update that I have, because people were like, oh, my God. If you listen, it was like a few episodes ago, the Internet drama, drama, whatever. Influencer drama, you know, and then I'm hearing about, like, the Alex. Alex stuff. And people are like, be the bigger person. Don't talk about it. I'm like, whoops.
B
Whoops. We talked about it.
C
Yeah, I totally talked about it, but it's fine. I think it's entertaining.
B
Yeah.
C
For whatever. She did reply to me. I messaged her and she did reply. And honestly, because the people there was question. She owned up to everything.
B
It was a great message and she apologized.
C
She was just like.
B
She owned up to it and it
C
was the best message she could have written back to me.
B
Yeah.
C
Honestly, I didn't answer because I'm not gonna be like, you're forgiven.
B
Yeah, but not yet. Not in my book.
C
Keep trying.
B
No, I thought her message was perfect.
C
It was the message, like.
B
It was the message.
C
Yes, received.
B
So consider her, you know. You know, in training.
C
Yeah, no, it's okay.
B
But no, that's really nice that she replied because she didn't reply for a second. But I think also maybe she, like, wasn't really online.
C
Yeah. No, no. And she was. She, like, said, like, I needed to, like.
B
Yeah.
C
Yeah. Which I thought was. I didn't get a copy and paste response. I got a custom response.
B
Yeah, some people did.
C
So.
B
Yeah, you got a custom response.
C
So that's. That's.
B
I'm glad you updated, actually. I think people were wondering.
C
She didn't answer.
B
She did answer. You're right.
C
Yeah.
B
I'm glad you updated on that.
C
No, and afterwards, I was kind of like, oh, okay, we're fine. Like, I was like, no, I have to be a little.
B
Yeah. But it was nice to, like. Because I think she does. I mean, obviously she regrets it.
C
Yeah.
B
Things you do when you're just in a terrible place, like, it. It happens. And, you know.
C
Yeah. I feel like she has her own shame. Like, I don't.
B
Yeah. Like, I don't need to add to. We've done. Yeah.
C
Like, she.
B
She knows. Yeah. And that's on growth. It's building character. Hey, for all of us. Thank you for that update.
C
Thank you for that.
B
Thank you for the update. I have an update.
C
Oh, please.
B
Kind of random, but I feel like I should talk about it.
C
Okay.
B
GLP1.
C
Yes, please.
B
I feel like I talked about it. I'm sad. I feel like people would be like, oh, now I need to listen, because I obviously talked. Announced. I talked about. Now I feel like people don't even announce their own GLP1.
C
It's like, no, they just get it.
B
They just do it.
C
And then you're just like, oh, okay, now anybody who loses weight, I'm just like, they're on.
B
Yeah.
C
And I.
B
And you don't need to make a whole thing. Like, I don't know.
C
Like, it's just assumed.
B
It's just assumed and whatever.
C
Yeah.
B
But here at Gals in the Go, you know, we tell you guys everything. So the. But no, I. I honestly, cold turkey stopped it just because. Because I talked about on the podcast, like, a couple months ago or a month ago, I was just like, I am going through so much stress in my life. Like, it was. It just didn't match with my lifestyle, and I really loved it for the time. I'm sure a lot of you can relate, but there's just something about getting ready for a night out with the gals that's almost more fun than the actual night out. I mean, we all know I love to throw in some Drake, take my time doing my hair and makeup, and enjoy that. Oh, my gosh, that perfect pregame drink.
C
I. I feel like the perfect pregame truly sets the tone for the night. And what better way to set the tone than with Malibu Pink. It's truly the best summer get ready with Me drink. It's vibrant, it's bold, it's got fun new, fruity flavors of guava, pineapple, and coconut.
B
No, I already know Malibu Pink will be coming with us on all of our girls trips this summer. It's perfect for the girls, like us, me, who like to take shots, but if you're not one for shots, it also pairs perfectly with a lemonade for a cute and easy cocktail moment. I feel like I would do the shot. You would do, like, the cocktail.
C
Yeah. I'm definitely gonna be sipping it as a mixed drink, but while I get ready. Also, it's like this gorgeous, vibrant pink color. Can we talk about it? You guys know that's my favorite color. And scream summer.
B
And with rooftop season here, you guys, I know. You know, we all know Brooke really wants me to throw a rooftop party at My apartment. Call back to a few episodes ago. Malibu Pink will be there as my get ready with me hype up drink.
C
This is making me very excited for summer. Get ready with Malibu Pink. Find Malibu Pink at a retailer near you. Must be 21 or older to purchase. Please drink responsibly. For additional information visit Malibu.com and follow Alibu drinks us on IG or at Malibu Rum on TikTok.
B
Must be 21 or older to purchase. Drink responsibly. Malibu Pink White rum with tropical liqueur 21 alcohol volume 2025 imported by Pernod Ricard USA New York, NY.
C
My spring vibe, I feel like I'm trying to incorporate more color. I feel like I'm over like the beige, the whites. Like I want to like, you know, incorporate more. Just like fun whimsy.
B
Right? Honestly, I feel you. I feel like I've been more attracted to color recently, which is saying a lot.
C
Yeah. Hey.
B
Hey. Something's chang.
C
Something's in the air.
B
Yeah.
C
And that's why we got to go to Ross.
B
Yes.
C
To refresh our apartments, to refresh our closet, whatever it is. Because Ross has the brands that we love at 20 to 60% off of other retailers prices. So you're just, you're just getting deals,
B
you're cutting deals, you're cutting deals. It's such a great situation because it's, they've got it all. You can go in there. And I've been really attracted to orange and yellow right now. So it's like, okay, I can go in. Oh, I have a, you know, you got the sunset themed bachelor at night. You got to get the dress. But then also wait, I really want new throw pillows for my bed.
C
And like also I'm like hosting that barbecue next week. So like that barbecue, you know, why are you all up in my grill?
B
No, in my grill. But no, Lily, Ross has everything. So it's a one stop shop. We always say it, but you go in, you bring your coffee, you have a sit, you know, you do it all. So it's really, really easy to do that. I feel like everywhere I go there's a Ross. So it's like not a problem in that way. And they just, they have so much like I love a home decor section.
C
Browsing, like when you have nowhere to be, like something about it. Like going, going solo, going with a friend, going with your mom, like just, it's Ross.
B
It's. It's Ross. So at Ross, you don't just shop, you guys, you work your magic and you can find your nearest Ross@rosstores.com. it's not to say that I wouldn't do it again. I'm gonna be so honest. But I really, I feel like I learned so much from it and I really am just so happy with like my blood test results that I got from it. And I'm, I don't, I don't regret going on it and now I'm not on it straight up. And you know, if all of a sudden things start to change, maybe things change, but I'm, I'm really happy and I'm, I don't have regrets. But I wanted to tell you guys that because I feel like I get lots of questions all the time about GLP1s. I was happy with my experience, but I'm not doing it at the moment.
C
I, I think that that's very honest of you to say and to talk about it. I think a lot of people also, they don't talk about it because I feel. Not that they're like, I don't want to be like they're misusing it, but a lot of people go on and off a lot.
B
Right.
C
And take it like the.
B
So that they micro dose it or do it before a trip. Yes. So we hear about it kind of
C
like crash, do it. So I feel like, and I'm not saying that that's like right or wrong. I don't know.
B
Yeah.
C
The expert here. But yeah, I think that's also why. Because people aren't gonna be like, I'm on it. Like if they've taken it like twice, you know.
B
Right. Which, yeah, everyone is doing their own thing. And I've gotten so many messages from so many of you, but I just wanted to be straight up. Like now I'm just, I feel like I've learned so many things. Like, I don't know, we can cut this. I don't know if this is bad to say, but like I used to always, you know, this, I would wake up and I'd be like, I need like a full breakfast before I work out. And then I kind of learned, oh, I, I can have breakfast after I work out. You know, like these little things that even since being off of it for a bit of a time now, I've like learned from that and just different meals that I started to cook and the importance of protein. Like, I, I really am proud of how I used utilized it.
C
Yeah.
B
And I'm really grateful for that.
C
That.
B
So that's great.
C
No, I feel like you, like, I'm happy you're eating like really balanced and like.
B
Yeah. I don't know, it just. It changed my mentality on certain things in a good way and I'm really grateful that that was my experience with it. So.
C
Wow, that's great.
B
But yeah, normally you're supposed to like wean off and stuff, so I'm not. I just was going through so much and I was like, nope. That I. I wasn't even like traveling. I was traveling so much I couldn't even like stay routine with it.
C
Yeah.
B
You know you have it in the fridge and the travel. I was like, forget it, forget it.
C
Because people gives a pack with like a cooler. Right? Like.
B
Yeah.
C
Because it stays in the fridge, right? Is that. Yes.
B
Yeah, it stays in the fridge. Yeah, it's like a whole thing.
C
It's like, hey, it's in the fridge.
B
Yeah, it's still in my fridge, but it's just.
C
It's just there.
B
Yeah.
C
When does it go back?
B
I don't know. I don't know.
C
One's gone bad.
B
Like. Yeah, I should probably look into that. But no, I mean it's definitely not cheap, so. Yeah. But yeah, no, it's so.
C
Wow. I think that's great. That's honest. In the name of health. I have. So I did something. Oh. In the name of health. I did the full body MRI scan.
B
Oh yeah. Did we not talk about.
C
No, we never talked about it. Wow. Pernuvo is the name.
B
Yes.
C
I've heard of this for a while. I feel like we have health anxiety in different ways.
B
Definitely.
C
I feel like you run from the doctor. I run towards the doctor.
B
You. Yes. You were like, well, let me just check which is the better. Exciting.
C
No, no, it's not great either though because like you don't want to be constantly like checking and stuff. Like. And like, like cuz sometimes it creates more problems for yourself. I kind of had an instance with that once where I like, you know, look too far. Like, you know, got a lot of whatever.
B
Yeah.
C
When. But it's better to be safe than sorry. But also like you can like look too far into something and then be like, I'm creating hard problems. It is a. It's a really hard balance. Yeah. There's no radiation. I want to say that cuz people are like, what's the con? Full body. Some areas, you know, like the, the breast area and the heart. It does, but it doesn't do as well because it's like the heart's moving and the breast. Like you need to like really do like a mammography. And stuff like that, but it does do it, like, lightly. I guess I was just always convinced that there was something wrong with my brain, and I'm. And there's nothing wrong with my brain. You get the results. It's in an app. It's, like, gorgeous interface. Yes. It's expensive.
B
Yeah.
C
You sit there for an hour, they play Netflix. It's an extremely loud machine. You're not supposed to move a lot. It's not a fun hour. But, like, you get it done. And honestly, it's, like, the peace of mind for me. It's the peace of mind.
B
Yeah.
C
There were a few things that. That came up. Number one being my deviated septum. This is crooked. No, it's crooked.
B
Confirmed. Your nose is confirmed crooked.
C
No, I saw it, and it's zigzagging. Like, I was like, holy. But I. And I'm also learning through running. I can't breathe through my nose. Like, it's actually, like, a real problem. So I'm gonna. Like, this is gonna be a health goal for this year. I really want to, like, nose goals. Nose goals. Like, I don't even care about aesthetics at this point. Like, just.
B
You should be able to breathe through the nose.
C
Yeah.
B
You should be able to close your mouth and.
C
Yeah.
B
Through your nose.
C
And, like, I can when I'm sitting, but not when I'm, like, running.
B
Yeah. Which is hard, especially if you're, like, doing all this running. Yeah. Oh, yeah. You did say this, that, like, your, like, throat hurts at the end of a run.
C
Yeah.
B
I'm like. Because you're breathing with your mouth. Yeah. You're a mouth breather.
C
Yeah, No, I literally am. You know, and. And then they. They say that, like, if you're a mouth breather, it, like, changes the face, the shape of your face.
B
You get mouth breathing, face, invisalign face, all the faces.
C
Yeah, but invisalign face is good, I thought.
B
Yeah.
C
Are you almost done with that? How far into that?
B
I have not been wearing it as much. I'm so sorry. To my orthodontist.
C
I feel that happens.
B
Yeah. Well, I'm. Honestly, now my bottom teeth have moved for the most part, but I'm just gonna keep going. Like, I think he told me I'd be happy. Like, I might have an appointment next week. And he told me, like, I'm probably gonna be happy around now, which is, I think, about six months. But he wants me to. He wants me to do a year, so we'll see.
C
That's real patience.
B
Yeah.
C
Like, is being like, this is gonna positively impact me in six months. Yeah, but you're doing.
B
And I'm happy with now. I don't have one tooth sticking out in all my videos. I'm like, you know, like, it's.
C
It's.
B
It's flattering.
C
It looks great to me.
B
I'm really happy, but it's not like, I. I'll keep going. Like, now I'm just so used to Invisalign that, like, I saw Hallie Kate got Invisalign.
C
Like, everyone's girl. Everyone's getting Invisalign.
B
I know. I'm like, welcome to. Like, I don't. Like, I don't notice it as much anymore. But also I. I'm definitely more frivolous. Is that the word with it? Like, now, like, I don't wear my podcast. I'm like, I'm just not gonna wear it when I podcast because.
C
Relaxed.
B
Yeah, more relaxed about it. Like, I literally didn't wear it during Coachella weekend at all. Stagecoat. Like, I just.
C
Did it hurt when you put in the next one?
B
No, because I. Well, what I did was I just. I'm supposed to change it every week, and I just did it for one more week. Yeah. Just to be safe.
C
Yeah.
B
Because, yeah, I think it would hurt really, really bad. I was just wearing it at night, basically.
C
Basically.
B
Then. So you can, like, work it. I had one of our friends tell me, she was like, I literally only ever wore it at night, and I was fine. I was like, you must have not had to move things as much as you.
C
Was it like two years, though, or like, how.
B
No, I think she'd only been doing it maybe it was for like a year. But she was like, I just treat it like a retainer. I'm like, okay. And it worked for her, but no, I'm still wearing it during the day when I can.
C
Yeah.
B
So, yeah, Invisalign. Sorry. And then Prenova.
C
So pronovo. But yeah, it's like, I don't see myself necessarily, like, doing it every year just because, like, I'm a healthy, like, 20, 29 year old woman now. But, like, I think I really want my parents to do it.
B
Yeah.
C
I feel like, especially my dad, like, like inhaling and stuff. Like, I just. I'm like, as a firefighter, I'm like, I want him to do it. Yeah. I feel like they just go like, no one's getting a full body mri. Like, I've never even had an mri. Like, no one's, like, looking that deep into things also, like, it did. Like, I have had mild scoliosis my whole life, since I was a kid. Fun fact about me just came up.
B
Like, you didn't know.
C
No, I knew it, but, like, I don't know. I had it when I was a kid. I haven't, like, checked for that, like, since I was right, you know?
B
And so it hasn't gotten worse?
C
It hasn't gotten worse.
B
That's good. You know, I have scoliosis too.
C
Really?
B
Yeah. But my spine is like a perfect zigzag. At least it was when I was in high school. So I should probably get it checked again. I feel like a lot of people, scoliosis.
C
Yeah, they do. And technic now. Oh, like everybody's. Yeah.
B
I want to fix my posture.
C
Right. No, seriously, they gave me a link if anybody wants it, because it's. It is expensive. It's an investment. But, you know, you also get a call then, like, with the radiologist, and you could ask them as many questions as you want. They literally sit through and go through the report with you for 45 minutes.
B
Wow.
C
Yeah, so I was like, so my
B
nose, like, yeah, you know that. No, I actually think that is something I could enjoy because it would maybe give me peace. Like, you know when you get those random pains and you're like, oh, my God, something's wrong with me.
C
Literally me. I was convinced that something was in my brain. Like, I was like. Like, I'm gonna, like, just randomly, like, die one day on a plane or something. I don't know. Like, this is where my brain goes.
B
I know, guys. I'm like, no, we all have those thoughts. Let's be real.
C
I'm twisted tea.
B
Like, I'm twisted, twisted tea.
C
But it's pernuvo.combrookman. you get 300 off. I do not benefit at all from this code. I just want to share it because I feel like I have almost never received so many. Like, so many people. Like, please tell me. Like, I'm curious. Please, like, be honest.
B
Yeah, that's amazing.
C
If they have it in your city, they don't have it everywhere.
B
Really?
C
Yeah.
B
Maybe they have it, like, in the closest, like, big city or whatever it may be. Yeah.
C
New technologies and stuff coming out. I think I'm gonna, like, eventually. Then I need to go to the courthouse and I need to do domestic partnership if we. Oh, no matter. Even if we are engaged. But, like, cuz, you know, we're not gonna be married. But I want to get on his health insurance.
B
Yeah, that's like, real bad. Honestly, I Should look into that. That would be nice. I don't like my insurance much. Yours is always like a whole thing. You guys got really good insurance.
C
I have like $0 co get to the thing. It's like a hassle, you know.
B
Feel like I'm always with you when you're having to like get referrals.
C
Totally. No, the referrals are a pain. But like technically $0 when I visit
B
like dermatologist or something.
C
Which is like amazing.
B
Yeah, yeah, that is.
C
But then I, I pay a hefty out of pocket. You know, just adult things.
B
We're out here just paying adult things. Well, on the topic of health, my dad. Hi. I've been going home basically every other week, which has definitely been a lot. Like going home so much. But. And I was talking about this in my vlog because it's so easy with something like this, with what my dad's going through to be like, like there'll be like a really good day and like something's improved and you're like, yes. But then the next day maybe there you get some not so great news or you find something out and then it just like really plummets. So I'm working with my therapist to really stay like more at a level steady. Steady. Because then if like it's like not too good, not too bad. Like, like you always say how you like set expectations.
C
Yes.
B
So we're trying not to like, you know, but he's been improving, which is just.
C
That's great. Love to hear that.
B
So amazing. Like, I, and honestly, I really want to do like a. Not a tell all, but I do when, when hopefully all this is over, I would like to do a whole episode talking about my experience. I just like still don't feel so comfortable talking about everything because it's so nitty gritty. But like, I have been at the hospital a lot recently, you guys. Like, my dad is now home and we actually have hired in home care, which has given a lot of peace to our family because even though my brother lives with him, like he has a job and he works and I can only go there so much. So that's been really nice. But man, it is. Having someone in your home is so interesting, right?
C
Oh yeah. Because it's like kind of like they're just there. Yeah.
B
And I don't live there fully, but like I'm there a lot. And so I'm waking up, I'm like, hey, you know, I've got my buddies now. Like, it is just, we've had so Many like. Like, I don't want to say funny stories, but kind of, like, funny stories. Like, it's just like, we. You know, we're finally starting to get, like, a good group of people. Yeah. But it's like, to start, you know, you kind of have to see, like, who my dad vibes with. You know, It's. It's just because, like, we just need an extra hand there to, like, help him with his medications or if you
C
guys are out during the day, to, like, yeah, if I.
B
Even if I was like, I want to go walk Finley, like, I didn't want to leave my dad alone just to make sure that he has someone there. Whatever. So that's been so interesting. And, like, when I'm home and I. I. The other day, I had to take photos for a campaign, and I was relying on my mom to come over because my mom. My parents are divorced, but she's been coming over literally every single day. And so I was like, oh, when she comes over, we'll. We'll go shoot out back. It was like a bathing suit situation. So I was like, she'll take photos. She has jury duty that day. I had no idea. So then Freddie's like, I'll make up a fake name. Let's say her name's Tracy, the girl we had that. He was like, just ask Tracy to go out back. I was like, there was no way I'm asking my dad's fre. Caregiver to come take photos of me. But I was. It was getting to a point, or I was just having to film, like, brand having. I was getting to film brand deals and stuff, like, in my bedroom, and I'm like, hey, guys. Like, but of course, my dad has, like, told them all about me and everything, and they know everything. But it's just. It's so interesting, and I'm really, really grateful that we've been able to do this, though, because it's helped a lot, because at first, like, I mean, it was all. It's still all hands on deck. But, like, I'm also just realizing, like, the type of family that my family is is.
C
We'.
A
On.
B
We're a very emotional family. So, like, I. I've been told by these people that we've hired. They're like, I. There's not a lot of families, like, you guys that, like, care so much. Like, I'm t. I'm calling them every day. I'm like, okay, like, I'll call in. Like, I'll call the doctor to have them send a refill of this medication. She's like, I can't believe you're in New York City doing this. I'm like, of course I would. Like, I love my. And she was like, I'm telling you, some people just hire us and then they say goodbye, like, just go, take care. And. And it's. But I think also because with my dad, it's. We're very much hoping that this is going to be, you know, we're on the rise. And so it's a temporary thing. So I'm like, no, no, no. Let's just put in the work. We've got physical therapy. We have all these things we're doing. And I just know the more work that we all put in, like, the better the outcome. I really believe that. But it was really nice to hear.
C
Wow, that's really so incredible. I know, and it definitely is true. I mean, I see everything that you guys are doing for, like, truly above and beyond. Like, literally. I. I mean, I. I've never seen anything like it. Like, it's like all that I can tell people. I'm like, no. Danielle's like, like, doing everything right now. I feel like you're, like, running circles and back, like, just, you know, managing the whole thing. But it's obviously.
B
It's like, I want to. Like, it's not even. Yeah, it's really interesting, though, because it's such a. Like, March, April, May are always really busy times for, like, brand trips and stuff like that. And so, you know, I'm sitting down with my dad. He's like, no, please still go do those trips. Which means the world to me. And it's allowed me to, like, it's just a really busy time. Like, I basically live on an airplane right now. I mean, so do you. Honestly, it's just a busy time. But I'm glad. I'm. I'm ha. I'm really grateful that I have the capacity for it right now. I've had a few moments of, like. Like, this morning I woke up. I, like, we had a call this. I took it from bed. I, like, couldn't. I, like, couldn't move. I was just like, oh, my gosh. But then I got up, so there's just moments of burnout and stuff. But I'm really grateful that I've been able to do it. I'm really grateful to all of you who have, like, asked me about him and checked in and prayed. Like, I. I really. I. Not to get so, like. I really do feel God right now, and I know that he's taking care of us right now. Like, I feel like the other day, this. Sorry. The sun was setting, and, like, my dad was having a really good. And I was just like, I feel it, and I feel blessed, and I feel like we're finally making some progress. So I. I hope that's true. And I'm trying to stay really steady, but I don't know, it's just. It's such a. It's a growing time for my family. You know, we're learning so much, and I'm hoping that's why this is all happening. You know, we're just. We're having to build character here, you know?
C
And I feel like you guys putting in, like, this love and time and, like, just everything. Like, it's so apparent that you value him so much and stuff. So I feel like he's probably motivated by that and, like, for sure, like, the love, like, like, really does so much.
B
It does.
C
It really does.
B
It does so well, that's amazing.
C
I'm. Oh, my God. No, I definitely believe that. Whenever I. Yeah, I. Because I believe in signs and stuff, like, you know, I see something, I'm like, that's a message, like, for me.
B
Yeah, absolutely. So I. You know, we're on the up and up, and we're just. It's still a long road ahead, and I'm still gonna be going home a lot. And I'm really grateful to you for, like, being, you know, especially with gals on the go and stuff, too. And, like, we're on the go. It's. But I'm really grateful that I can do, like, can go back home so much and.
C
Yeah. And.
B
And it shows you. I was talking to. It shows you, like, who your real friends are. And I have to say, I haven't been disappointed by anybody.
C
Wow.
B
Which is really cool to say because someone else in my family was like, no. I have a list of people that I'm like, huh, Interesting.
C
That's funny.
B
So I'm really grateful to all my friends and family that have been so supportive.
C
Wow. That's really, really great. Yeah.
B
That's really, like, no one's, like, like, pissing me off.
C
No.
B
Or, like, maybe I'm just not. Look, I'm not, like, worried about that.
C
No. But not acknowledging it or something.
B
Yeah.
C
I feel like it's.
B
Yeah.
C
We're giving you the space to talk about it.
B
Right. But it also. I understand it because before all this, I would always feel awkward if, like, something bad was happening with you or something. It's like, when is the right time to ask about it. Maybe they don't want to talk about it in the moment. So I don't even get offended if someone doesn't bring it up to me because I kind of get. Or maybe I'm having a good day and they could tell. They're like, why would I bring that up?
C
Right.
B
You know, it's.
C
Yeah. I feel like you have to gauge every friendship, like, in an individual level. Yeah. So. But I think you would be like, you know what's going on in other people's lives, and you would ask them, like, because you care.
B
Right.
C
So I feel like I would ask.
B
Yeah. Yeah, you ask when you can, like, tell or, like, you maybe haven't checked in in a minute or whatever it is. So. No, I really, really appreciate it, and I will keep you guys posted. But my dad says hi. We watched my video. He was watching my Coachella vlog with me. Last time I was there was so great. Yeah, it was cute. So. And the next time I. I think the next time I'm going home, I was. I'm taking my brother to the Ella Langley concert in Florida, which is gonna be so fun. So.
C
Yeah.
B
And then I'll see my dad, obviously. But.
C
Yeah, that's great.
B
It's a great. I'm very grateful that going home is going to Florida. Like, I mean, you know, I can't complain, even though I'm kind of, like. When I'm there, I kind of just stay inside with my dad. We try to bring him out, take him outside sometimes. He's. He's sometimes in the mood, sometimes not,
C
but Because I feel like the fresh air is, like.
B
It should be good for you. Yeah.
C
Yeah. Right.
B
Finley, obviously.
C
Oh, that's nice. All that. Yeah. I feel like. Yeah. You guys have, like, a lot. Like, a lot going on. There's just, like, a whole lot we,
B
like, can't get your break to at times. Like, I got in my dad's car the other day, and there were a ton of maggots in the back seat. I wanted to throw.
C
What did you do? Up.
B
I drove straight to the car wash, and I said, bug removal. Like, that was one of the option. Oh, my God. I was disgusted. Oh, my God. There wasn't even food. Like, I don't know.
C
Bug removal in the car.
B
Yeah. They have an option at the car wash, like, detail bug removal. I'm like, okay, so it's not just me. Yeah. But my dad was like, oh, my God, there's bugs. I was like, I don't know. I Just drove it a week ago and I was here. Yeah.
C
So what?
B
There's just things or like, I'm not even gonna lie, we've like hired people so that I can sleep like someone to be there 24 hours and I wake up to snoring and I'm like, we bade you to stay awake.
C
But what it like, where does the person. Like, it's weird.
B
Yeah, they just like sit in the living room while my dad's in bed. Like, and really my dad like sleeps through the night. Like, it's. Yes, but it's just in case my dad were to need something.
C
I don't completely understand, but yeah, they
B
just like, they watch movies or some of them like, are in school, so they bring their homework. But it's like the craziest thing. They come at like 11 o'.
C
Clock.
B
I'm like, okay, good night. Like, there's my dad.
C
Yeah. You're like. It's kind of like, this is your job.
B
Yeah. But we had literally a few days in a row of people like, like snoring. We were like. And I get it, it's in the middle.
C
But like, you're working the night shift. Yeah, it's like the middle of the night.
B
You gotta stay awake.
C
My girl, that is.
B
That's been funny.
C
Like, do they go hourly and like, check on him just to.
B
I hope so. I think no, like. Well, the one night I was staying up from to watch Justin, I told her, I was like, look, I'm gonna be up, so I'm gonna check. Yeah, I would come and I would check on her and then I.
C
That's funny.
B
And she was awake, I think because she knew because I was in the other room. Like, literally, I'm literally watching the Justin Bieber live stream and we have like someone in the living room. Like, like what you put down. I was like, what is my life right now?
C
Is he in the living room?
B
No, but his room is off of the living room. So he just like cracks it and like, it's just.
C
If you literally.
B
We don't really need them. But it just gives my family a peace of mind right now. No, I completely.
C
It's nice to have someone available and
B
like, so that we can all like, sleep and like the next day. Yeah, there's a lot going on at the moment
C
that really is like, a lot going on.
B
Yeah.
C
Yeah. And your mom, I feel like, is. Is your brother. Like, everybody's like, has a part in this.
B
We've got a. We've got a. We've got it. We've got it going and I'm really grateful for that. So I feel like there are, first of all, so many birthdays right now of people in my life. There's so many things to celebrate, whether it's match day, whether it's an engagement. And engagement might be an engagement. Literally, Brooke could be getting engaged tonight. I don't know. And there's just, there's so many things that I want to send things to my friends and I'm just kind of over the sending the flowers. I'm just, I need something new to send. And that's why we are loving Baked by Melissa.
C

They get delivered right to whoever's door in just one to two days. Who doesn't love a cupcake? They're handcrafted, bite sized cupcakes. They are thoughtful. You can get like different assortments. B
some get better soon. And they also actually have these really beautiful gift boxes and they have different themes. Like I think I got someone for someone recently, like get better or love you or there's different.
C
Yeah, they've got Mother's Day. How about that?
B
I feel like, you know, pro tip, you guys.

I feel like there's a lot going on in my personal life right now. Like, some days I'm like, yes, we're so back. I'm feeling so good. And then other days they feel very overwhelming. It's a lot of sleepless nights. I'm not even lie. I wake up in the middle of night, I check my phone, and it's really easy to feel like. Like you have to figure it out on your own, you know?
C
Yeah. And you shouldn't have to feel that way. And I know you're not one to, like, want to burn it in your friends or family, so I feel like I got it. Like, that's why we turn to a therapist. That's why I turned to therapy.
B
We literally love therapy so much. And I just, anytime a friend comes to me and says, I want to start therapy, whatever, I just always say, better help. Because they have amazing better help therapists that work according to a very strict code of conduct and they're fully licensed
C
in the U.S. didn't you say that someone recommended better helps, like your family members recently, like a professional?
B
Literally, at the hospital, they gave me a list. They're like, better help. I was like, this is so.
C
I was like, hey, just go down.
B
No, literally, my dad was like, hey, like. Which is a really cool thing. I mean, they have over 30, 000 therapists. So, like, if you're matched with one, you do the questionnaire and everything and you're like, ah, they're not for me. There's another one for you to try. No additional charge. Like, easy. Boom. Done.
C
Love that. Because it's really important, I feel like, to find someone who you vibe with because that will keep you going and coming back and stuff.
B
Oh, 100. It's very important that you feel comfortable and it's someone, like, it's. It's just fun. Some weeks I just want to, like, gab, and other weeks I'm like, let's go deep, you know, whatever it may be. So you do not have to be on this journey alone. C
Do you feel like it's brought, like, you and your brother closer in a weird way?
B
Yeah, and my mom, actually, my mom and I were saying it's brought us closer, which I didn't think was possible, but yeah, no, it's. I mean, it's brought me and my dad so much closer. Like, truly, like, it's just more vulnerable moments, I feel like. But yeah, no, it's brought us, oh, a lot closer. So. But that's a cool thing.
C
Definitely. No, it's made me. I mean, I was a bystander, like, assessed a lot of situation, like, just in my life. And like, it makes me, like.
B
Makes you appreciate things.
C
Yeah, so many things. Just like the Monday, like, when you're like, ah, it's just an average day. It's. It's like I don't take it for granted.
B
Like, no, like those bo. Like, I miss, like a boring day.
C
Yeah. When it's just like your parents call you to check in and they're. You're.
B
Yeah. Like, what's up doing this, you know, Like, I. I can't lie like, every time, like, my mom or not as much anymore, but at the first, when my brother or my mom or dad would call me, like, my heart would drop every single time and I'm like, what now? But no, but not currently.
C
That's good.
B
Not currently.
C
Okay. No, we're on the up and up.
B
We're on the opposite. My mom's got my dad meditating. Like, she put the headphones on.
C
Did she go in and, like, do a meditation?
B
Oh, yeah, yeah. We've got a full, like, system.
C
Wow, that's. So everybody has a part. Yes.
B
Yeah.
C
It's like a cast. Yeah.
B
Castless the Cat. Starring Fred. Starring my dad. Anyway, sorry, that was a lot. But thanks for listening and thanks for letting. Giving me the platform to talk about it.
C
Of course. I'm so glad that you do you have sharing. Oh, I wanted to say something because I thought it was.
B
Please say something, please.
C
So I did like a brand deal slash, like, went to the event for Target and Park.
B
Oh, yeah.
C
And it reminded me of our bet that we have because we always. We have this running bit like that Danielle is Coach. She does brand deals for Coach. I do brand deals for Coach Outlet. And it was very similar. It was like Target X Park. It was like, I do Target collaboration with Park. Lower price point, more excited, accessible. Danielle, I feel like you do a lot with Park. Like, you get sent a lot of Park. And it just reminded me that I was there and I was just like,
B
hey, we have to.
C
Hey.
B
Hey. That's.
C
They knew they were hiring for the
B
like we'll get Brooke for the tar Park. Oh my God. Target park. This. It looks like a really cute collection.
C
No, it's so cute. I, I probably already sold out by now.
B
Yeah.
C
It's literally giving Lily Pulitzer Target. Like when I like I'll never forget
B
when you went to the Lily puts her target event. That was like. I thought you were the coolest, the coolest person you were. That was the coolest thing. You went into the city for the event.
C
Not invited. Just went.
B
Just went. Oh, right. It wasn't actually an influencer thing.
C
No, no, no. It was like an open invitation in the park. It was in like Madison Square park or something.
B
Open.
C
Yeah. They don't really do like park not park like the brand. They don't do like park takeovers anymore. Right.
B
Park takeovers.
C
Like I think there would be like brand activations like in like I feel like they set up like a little section but I swear like they were just like in the middle of the.
B
No, now it's pop up.
C
Yeah.
B
Now there's designated places in Soho.
C
You're so right.
B
There wasn't that before?
C
What is the deal with that?
B
I don't know but they, everyone like I saw Monday swimwear. They've got something right in and I think they just have these rotating like we do three month leases for pop ups and that's it. And they, they know how to customize it. They probably have the perfect team for like graphics and stuff like that.
C
Yeah.
B
I wonder if other cities other than New York maybe like LA to have like designated pop up venues that you can rent out.
C
I feel like pop up culture is like the last five years like exploded though.
B
Talk about lines and shrines. Yeah, pop ups. People love a pop ups or like
C
and they'll get on the line for the pop up. They will get the New York City exclusive and they give away 50 free things right away.
B
Yeah, I. Hey, it's. It's a very.
C
It's usually I just don't catch me waking up at 4 where I am to go stand in one of those lines. Unfortunately I.
B
Have you ever been to a sample sale?
C
Yeah, but not. I don't think I've like, I feel like I've stumbled into the.
B
Yeah, like you didn't go. Yeah, how about to go same. I've stumbled and I've been like, oh, there's no line. It's a Bronx and bank. Go samples or whatever. I'll walk in and I'm not really.
C
It's like picked over because like, everyone who wanted the good stuff, they went
B
at the line in the 4am line. And we're not. I don't like lines.
C
I just am not like, I'm not a stan of one thing so hard that I'm like, willing to wait in the line for it, you know?
B
Yeah. No, and the thing with sample sales is you don't know exactly what's going to be in there.
C
It's so true. It could be.
B
What if you wait in line and then you get in there and there's not your size or not? I don't know.
C
You want swim, but it's all winter.
B
Yeah, I think that's probably actually what happens, actually.
C
Yeah, that people.
B
Are you going to any concerts in, like, DJs?
C
Yes, this week when we're recording this. So it has definitely already passed. My friends. I have friends do DJ friends. Me and my DJ friends. Have I told you about my DJ friends? I. I don't know if I have.
B
I. I thought it was Josh. No, that's not here.
C
No, no, no. Like, they're called me and you. They are like a huge group. No, they like. They play Red Rocks. Like they're big. They're really.
B
Look, I didn't know what your DJ friends.
C
Yes, I have DJ friends.
B
Okay.
C
They're twitching twin sisters and they need to know go.
B
Listen, are you gonna like, be behind the booth with that?
C
I don't know. They got me on the guest list, so. Yeah, I'm on the list.
B
I cannot. If you get behind that booth, you need Ben to take a photo or
C
Ben will be with you 100. I'm just so excited. Yeah, you have to wear some of your new glasses. I have so many glasses.
B
So many new glasses from Japan.
C
I know. I was thinking about my outfit though. I gotta. I gotta look cool.
B
Yeah, it's like the perfect amount of cool.
C
Yeah. Basically, people just show up naked to these things and I just.
B
I'm.
C
You know, I'm working my way there, but, like, it's still hard.
B
This is 29.
C
Like, ah, my bare body. Yeah, it's exposure therapy. That's exp. But you should go listen to their music. Everybody should. Even if you're not like, super into house, they call themselves, like. It's like hope house. It's not like, like you're gonna like it. It's very like, vibey. You would put it like you put on Their set, like, for. Yeah. Me and you.
B
Me and you.
C
You just like.
B
Me and who? Me and you.
C
Me and you. I love, like, a sister. Like, that is so.
B
Yeah, that's cool.
C
Family businesses are so fascinating to me.
B
Definitely.
C
Especially twin relation. I mean, twins is a whole separate thing, but then, like, siblings, like, do you think you and your brother could have a business together?
B
No. I know we've talked about, like, if I ever bought a house in Florida, he could, like, manage it for me.
C
Yeah.
B
But no, I don't think about it.
C
No, I. I think you would go south really quickly. I think we have a good thing going.
B
Yeah, I think you guys have a good thing. I had so much fun with your brother a couple weeks ago.
C
No, he's great.
B
He's so.
C
He's really grown into such a nice young man.
B
He really is a nice young man with the best, like, New York accent. Yeah. Like, it's thicker than yours.
C
Yeah, for sure.
B
I love that. But, yeah, I couldn't. Yeah. I just think maybe if you're sisters, I could see it, like, having a little cupcake business together.
C
Yes.
B
Not a little of a cupcake.
C
No. I. I can't even imagine what that's like, because we don't have sisters.
B
I am noticing a pattern in the influencer space. People are leaning into, which I get. If they have a sister. They're leaning into the sister content.
C
100.
B
All of a sudden, we have a sister.
C
Oh, I didn't know you.
B
I didn't know you had a sister. And I love. Yeah, bring them out. She's been backstage for years. Sister content begins. Have you noticed this?
C
100%. I'm like, suddenly everybody has a sister.
B
Or it's like they bring out their stepsister, the half, and. Hey, sister's assistant.
C
And they're all stunning.
B
They're all stunning.
C
You've had this randomly.
B
Yeah, we're super fast.
C
Yeah. They're like people that, like, should be influencers, you know?
B
Yeah.
C
Oh, yeah. Yeah.
B
Like, and I'm enjoying the content. Let me be clear. But all of a sudden, everyone's leaning into the sister content. Maybe I'm just jealous. I. We lean into brother content.
C
I know it just doesn't hit the same. And then it gets weird. And then, like, I feel like there is, like, that. That narrative of, like, brother, sister, that's too close.
B
Like, I know weird.
C
And I don't.
B
I don't want that. I don't need that energy, you know?
C
Like.
B
Yeah, Yeah.
C
I feel like we do stuff with our moms, like, mom content.
B
Yeah. Mom con. Yeah. My mom's always like, why don't you get more mom things? Like, because we don't live near each other.
C
I mean, I do live near my mom, but that is always working. I swear. I, like, I'll, like, text her, like, 7pm she's like, I can't, Like, I'm, like, doing, like. I'm like, aren't you stressed?
B
She is busy. She's a busy girl, but she, like, loves work.
C
Like, really, really deeply loves it, you know?
B
Yeah. I need to see Adina soon. It's been a minute, and they need some Adina.
C
Maybe the next thought was dining brand deal.
B
I can't explain how much I thought that was really gonna happen.
C
Maybe we could organize something. No, no. She definitely needs to Instagram. They come to the city sometimes for, like, brunches and stuff. They'll, like, send a place on Instagram and be like, oh, really? I want to go to this. Like, next time I come, I want to go to this place. Which is nice to pick out.
B
Like, yeah, that is sweet that they like, too. But your family is also, like, team Go. You know, they come in.
C
No, they come for dinner.
B
Yeah, they go out.
C
They take the train. They love taking the train now because it's, like, very efficient because so much
B
easier take the train, literally. Why not?
C
They came, like, a few weeks ago. My brother met them because he, like, worked around Penn Station. They got into Penn Station, and my mom was actually, like, coming to an event with me, and I was like, you're not gonna make it if you, like, take. She loves a cab. Loves an Uber. And I was like, you're not gonna make it. Like, you're gonna have to take the train. And Sal met them and guided them on the train, and she. So she took the train. She gets off. She's like, it wasn't that bad. It wasn't so funny. Parents on the subway, though, they're just like, oh, my God. Like, they act like it's their first day on Earth. Like, my parents are not city people. They're Long island people, which is always
B
so trippy to me. Like, I just assume that if you're on Long island, like, you're a city person.
C
But Aunt Debbie's not that, like, right. Like, she's a Long island person.
B
Yeah, no, she's not a city person, but she used to work in the city for years. So in my. But yeah, I know. You're absolutely right.
C
I might add to too. But, like, at the end, it's been a While knows it. But, like, at the end of the day, like, they never lived here. Well, your aunt lived here, I guess, so. That's different.
B
No, she didn't live in the city. No, you're right. She just worked in the city. City. But she. Every time she comes in the city, she goes, danielle, is that the Empire State Building?
C
No, literally, it's the first day. First day in the city. Every time.
B
She literally used to work in, like, Herald Square, which is right by the Empire State Building. But maybe that's why, because it was always so right next to her that she didn't actually see the Empire State Building. I don't know. But now anytime I bring her to my roof or we're walking, I just take out my phone because I know she's gonna say it.
C
That's so funny.
B
Is that the Empire State Building? Really late. That's it. Oh, she's so funny.
C
It's so funny.
B
I love a Long island dad.
C
Now for a walk.
B
Yeah. See what they say.
C
Yeah, let's. Let's see. What do you.
B
I want to go to, like, a Nick game soon. Nick's. Nick. What do the people say? A Nick game.
C
So near the end of basketball season.
B
I think we're approaching.
C
Okay, maybe we.
B
Wouldn't that be fun?
C
Yeah.
B
Little, like, sport, you know, when I'm. When I'm around, it's been so hard to make plans. I'm like, I. I don't know. Like, catch me me if you can.
C
Yeah, Literally. Oh, my God.
B
One night only.
C
That's why I, like, I was glad to get you on my birthday. That's why I was like, hey, while you're in town, if you want to stop by. That's, like, the reason why I was.
B
I know.
C
Yeah.
B
It was perfect. Well, that's because my brother called me. He was like, things are pretty good if you want to wait a couple days. And I was like, I could use a couple extra days.
C
Say.
B
Say less. Say less. Thank you. I'm glad Dad's doing well. Like, I. I'm drowning. I could clean my apartment. My apartment. Oh, there's just so much I want to. Not actually so much I want to do, but it's just. Just. It's not in a state of, you know, Ryan's taking care of it basically right now. Like, Ryan's getting the groceries. Like, is he clean? Yeah, yeah, he's clean. He, like, makes the bed. He, like, when I get back, he knows if I get back from a trip and certain things aren't. Oh, am I Not happy. But no, he knows those few things. I need the pillows chopped. I don't want the sink to be smelly. Like when the disposal, there's stuff like I need that to be done and a few other things and he, and he does them, thankfully. Oh my God. Yeah. Oh my God, it was so sweet. I came home the other day from one of my travels and it was on the, it was on a weekday and I wasn't, I, you know, I wasn't gonna see him until later that night. Whatever. I walk in and I smell a candle and I'm like, oh, that little. He left a candle burning when he left for work. So I go over, I blow out the candle. I'm in a bad moon. I just hear Bubba. I'm like, like what, Ryan? It stayed home.
C
That's so, so he could see me.
B
Cuz I had one day here and it was really nice.
C
Oh, that is so.
B
I know, like you say like that's like a big deal for him to stay home from work. I think his boss was like out of town or something, so he knew he could work from home. But it meant a lot to me and I couldn't believe that I never went on Find my Friends or like saw.
C
Yeah, you, you go on.
B
I, I go on there. I check but I guess I wasn't checking to see if he wasn't at work or not cuz I wasn't suspicious. So.
C
That's really interesting.
B
Yeah. Oh my God. I was on the plane the other day and as I, as we always are and the woman literally sitting next to me, we're getting up and to leave and I. She's texting someone on her phone. She's like, oh, I'm. She was in the middle seat. She was like, I'm so claustrophobic. My piece of neighbor made me feel that way. I'm like, I hope it was the woman in the window seat because what like. But I'm already self conscious. I talked about in the episode with Margo that like, I feel like I'm not a fun person to sit next to on the plane. So now I'm really concerned.
C
Oh, I'm. What do you mean? I.
B
Because I like move and like.
C
Yeah, you move well.
B
I feel like you. This is you. This is you. As soon as you get into position, you have your coffee, everything. You go, you have one hand on your eyebrow and you look at your phone. Right?
C
No, you're so like I, I literally position and I. And I, I don't really move. I don't really get up to go to the bathroom if it's like an under three hour flight. Yeah, yeah.
B
And then, then you gotta move and stuff.
C
I had a situation the other day. I've been going on like these small planes because I'm going to like very like rogue destinations for these weddings. Not really, but like, you know, like a small flight.
B
Yeah.
C
Off the grid. And I brought on now I had a feeling that it would have had to be checked the base with the extender open.
B
Yeah. Some. It never. You never know.
C
You never know.
B
But on a small plane.
C
But we were early board. Like, we were pretty quick to board. They didn't say, like, they didn't put a tag on it. They weren't like, oh, you have to get jackets. I was like, oh, I'm in the clear. And we get on the plane and I. I immediately see that it's not going to fit. And you would have thought that I was like, literally, like, it was my first day on earth because, like, they didn't know what to do with me. They were like, okay, ma', am, you're gonna have to wait. And I was like, but I'm in the middle of the aisle, unfortunately, and I have nowhere to go, so.
B
And then you had to get off the. Because you had to get.
C
So I was like standing in front of someone else. Yeah. Cuz I had to get off the suitcase and whatever. Like it.
B
No, that's on them. They should be clocking all the suitcases and be like, it's not gonna fit. Check. Yeah. Those small planes are literally. I'm like, what bag will fit there?
C
Very, very, very small bag.
B
Oh my God. We're booking a, like a family trip for Ryan's family. And he's like on FaceTime with the fam and he's like, in the other room's like, danielle, do you think you're gonna need to check a bag because it's gonna be more expensive if. And I'm like, I don't know, maybe
C
I'm gonna want to check.
B
I'm like, I'm like texting him. I'm like, could you just text me?
C
You're like, do I have to decide now?
B
Yeah. Cause I was like, what's the itinerary? I don't know what we're doing.
C
How's it long? Isn't this far away this trip?
B
Yeah. Well, we're going on like a fam reunion, but I'm like, I don't know, are we swimming or like, you know, I don't know. I don't know. Are we hiking? I don't need to bring hiking boots. Like, I. I don't know. But he's like, are you going to need to check a bag? Like, please don't out me like this. I was like, option to add on later. Like, I'll add it on. I think he was like booking it. And I was like, I'll literally add it on. Cuz I think he was looking at different airlines. And then he was like, then maybe we should just do Delta because just in case. I was like, yeah, can we please?
C
Yeah, yeah.
B
But I was like, don't make me sound like the high maintenance girlfriend.
C
So funny. Yeah. It's like, Danielle needs to check a bag. It's so me though. That's literally me.
B
When I go to bed, when I
C
go to Ben's family house and they're like, oh, you brought your roller bag. I'm like, I literally always have this bag.
B
You know what, though, cuz, duffels are very annoying.
C
I travel heavy.
B
Yeah. Can you manage it?
C
Can you manage? I. I can. Yeah. I can lift it. Like if. My rule of thumb is like, if I can lift it.
B
Yeah, you got to be able to. Yeah. It's like, as long as you're good with it. Good.
C
I mean, I don't want to carry it up the stairs, but like, I. I can if needed.
B
If a man said, hey, little lady, you want me to carry your bag?
C
I don't know how people carry light because. Travel light because, like, there will still be things, like, I didn't bring. I. I feel as though I traveled as light as I possibly could. And I. But I forgot, like, hair products and stuff. I had to borrow my hair products. I'm like, how, How. How's. How are people fitting? Truly everything.
B
No idea. No idea. I don't know. I think we just require a lot of things too. Saying that for myself, like, if I'm
C
getting ready for a wedding or like a fam. Like a big family event, like, I want to have my things. Like, to me, like, that's like the main event. Like, honestly, I don't know how you treat getting ready for a wedding. I'm like, it's the Met gala.
B
No wedding things. Remember we were in Cape Cod. We literally started getting ready like three hours before Gretchen and Max's wedding.
C
I don't want to be rushed.
B
No, thou shalt not be rushed.
C
I'm using my heavy duty stuff.
B
You know what really has changed the game? This is not sponsored, but Brooke and I both have worked with Revlon on this, the Versa styler.
C
It's so great.
B
Everyone needs this, you guys. It's like a Dyson Air app in the sense that it does all these things, but there are no attachments. It has the blow dryer, the blow dry brush, and then it also can heat up to a rounded heated round brush.
C
I gave myself a blowout with that. I was amazing, actually get a blow. It ran out of time. Right before one of these weddings, I was like, okay, I'll just do this myself. I've like never gotten more compliments. I feel like at the wedding they were like actually your hair.
B
Oh my God. And you're like, I did it myself.
C
Versa Styler.
B
And then such a cool product.
C
Like curl on top. Like I just.
B
Oh yeah. I haven't tried to curl with it.
C
Oh no, I didn't curl with it.
B
Oh, like you added straight for two days and then I like option to curl later. No, I, I bought one for my mom. Like I need everyone to have one.
C
It's great. Price is right. Yeah, it's.
B
Well, it's just perfect for traveling so you don't have to bring all these different tools. I guess you should bring a curling iron if you want to curl. But I, it's amazing. Cuz I'm officers like blow drying my hair and then I'm pulling out the heated round. Yeah, it's amazing. And they restocked it on Walmart. I saw, so.
C
Oh really?
B
Yeah. Because it was sold out for so long and I was like, shoot, I don't want to tell people to get this. And it's not available.
C
Yeah, no, I've been. That's been my, my main tool.
B
Yeah, my main, my main.
C
That's my ride or die.
B
It's. It's really a gals on the go.
C
Like a product and I cannot give myself a blob for shit. Like truly.
B
No, same. But with that.
C
Yes, Chef's kiss.
B
Well, I had fun talking to you today. Do you have anything else you want to say before we wrap her up?
C
No, I really don't think so. I think that, you know, we'll. We'll catch up next week.
B
We will catch up next week. I can't wait.
C
I'll see you next week. I like your shoes. Very.
B
Thank you. They're Gucci.
C
I know. I like the matching with the, the purse. You have the coordinating purse, right?
B
Yeah. It wasn't on purpose and I was walking out the door. I go, Gucci day. Gucci day.
C
It's Wednesday. No, it's Gucci day.
B
My grandpa calls it gucky. He's like, is that that gucky, Brandy? Oh, that's wholesome of you.
C
That's like low.
B
That's pops, you know.
C
Oh, that's pop.
B
Pops.
C
Oh, that's so funny. Pop. No, I. They say I feel like every guy's
B
like, yeah, what's low? Yeah. Oh, it's low. That low brand. Kind of like Home Depot? No, it's Louis. Okay.
C
That's funny.
B
Funny.
C
I like, kind of don't want my boyfriend to be able to pronounce the brands.
B
I'm kind of like loving how they don't know how to pronounce things. Like, just leave it there.
C
Like, pops is a king for that.
B
Pops is a king for Zang Gui. I think that's iconic. Well, we love you guys. Love chatting with you. I think this was a really great episode. Lots of updates, lots of fun chats and there'll just be more of that. We'll see you guys next week.
