A
The next question that a lot of people have been asking me is, what are you gonna do?
B
Oh, I'm getting questions.
A
What's Brit gonna do if she has to move across the country? I kind of do believe in, like.
B
Jinxing myself, and I still feel like.
A
That I'm not moving if I'm not engaged. He knows that.
B
Getting a GOTG exclusive. Hello, you guys. What is up? Welcome back to Gals in the Go podcast. I'm Danielle.
A
I'm Brooke. Happy Wednesday.
B
Happy Wednesday. We're like, tr. Back in the swing of things. Back at it.
A
Back at it. I know. I feel like the first week, first week back, I sound so corporate. You know what I mean? Like, I'm like, everybody was slowly getting to things, and now I feel like every. Everybody's up. Everybody said January. We've quotas, we've gotten. We've got.
B
Oh, my gosh. Everyone is circling back. Like, you think that's just for corporate? No, no, it is in our world too.
A
They're circling back.
B
Yeah. I feel like there was a second of, like, no brand events, no nothing, and now it's, like, full force, like, brand events in the city. Like, all. All the things.
A
Things are happening.
B
Yeah. You know, the gals are out here doing things, but, yeah, it's January, so I'm like, what is going on?
A
My abs are sore because we did a branded workout class this morning. I guess I haven't done ab exercises in a while because, like, I am sitting here and I'm consciously thinking about the fact that my. Like, I'm. I'm nervous for tomorrow because we took this class this morning.
B
It's kind of good, though. Like, I told Brooke, my back hurts, which isn't good, which means I had bad form.
A
Oh, is that what that.
B
Probably, like, my. My core should hurt. Oh, yeah. So you're good.
A
Hey, hey, hey. I did something right. But the core hurting sometimes could, like, be in the same categories, like, stomachache, you know, when, like, yeah, muscles hurt so bad that you're like, what is it? Oh, it's uncomfortable. Like, it's, like, churning kind of.
B
No, it is turning for sure. It's so funny. Like, I hadn't been to a branded workout class in a while with, like, influencers and stuff. And, like, people really are just so beast in those classes. Like, we need to talk about influencer workout classes, because at least the ones we go to. I feel like everyone's like. Like, yes, people are filming every now and then, but truly, everyone is there for a workout, which I love.
A
No that's why they intimidated me when I was, like, wildly out of shape, I think.
B
Yeah.
A
Because, like, not that, you know, but I was. And I'm gonna be honest. Like, you stand out like, these. If you do a video over the crowd and. And you're struggling to keep up and everybody else is in perfect form, like. Yeah, your eye does go to that person.
B
Yeah, of course. Like, it.
A
It.
B
Especially because there's, like, a photographer there. And, like, I. I expect. You know, when you go to an event like this, you should expect. I will say this photographer. He was there.
A
The.
B
From the beginning to the end of the class, he was there.
A
Yeah. You guys stepped out, and he asked me for some solos, which almost never happens. I honestly felt honored. That really never happens. They never pull me for the solo so much.
B
It's always so exciting when you had a brand event and they're like, can I get a photo of you? They, like, love, like, oh, you're dressed in the brand. Like, come here. They have, like, a face sheet sometimes of, like, people they need to take photos of. And anytime someone holding a clipboard grabs you for a photo, you're like, yeah, I'm cool.
A
Yeah.
B
Important. They want.
A
They need my photo. They.
B
They need my photo. Maybe catch Brooke on Getty Images for her workout photos.
A
Oh, my God. Do you think those are going on Getty?
B
No, I. I don't think.
A
Trigger workout glasses.
B
Trigger warning. Yeah. Getty Images is, like, a scary place if you guys don't know what that is. It's like, there's Getty Images bfa where you. Now I'm telling you guys, you can go do it. You can look up our names, and it shows photos from, like, all these events we've been to, which is, like, fun, because if you're at a red carpet event or an event of sorts, then you go home and you know that the photographer was Getty. You can just go look up your name, and there's all these photos, and you look really cool. There's the cool watermark. Like, Getty Image, you know?
A
Yeah. And from what I understand, people buy them. Like, let's just say, hypothetically, someone was, like, writing a news article on us and they needed images, then they would, like, buy those images.
B
Right? That's.
A
Get the watermark removed. I've never, like, paid for one because I'm just like, I'll post it with the watermark. I don't really care.
B
And that's a whole thing because I remember, like, we've had, like, PR throughout the years. Like, Sometimes. And I remember it was like during Fashion Week and I. There was like a getty image of me that I loved. I was like, oh my God, that's so cool. I'm gonna post it. My. The publicist was like, oh well, don't worry, I'll get the like non watermark version for you. And I was like, wait, I can I post it?
A
Yeti?
B
Like that's cool.
A
You're like, you want everyone to know. Yeah, it's like, yeah. And also the images there are generally, I'm pretty sure them are unedited. Unless the photographer goes in and edits it before they upload them, I guess.
B
Yeah, I don't think they're edited.
A
They're pretty raw, you know?
B
Like some of them you're like, I wish like, I'm like, how? I think there are ways to get getty images removed.
A
Like there are. Oh, like untag yourself or something.
B
Cuz I wouldn't hate that.
A
Would love to know how to do that. Yes.
B
Cuz there's some from like Beautycon or something forever ago Yumi and like Keaton 2017. 2017, yeah. So that's always fun to go down. It's always like the first thing I see. I'm like, can we show my most recent Getty images first?
A
Yeah, that's. It's a good point. I know. Yeah.
B
Food for thought.
A
I wish it was like, you can like pin to your profile. Like, I'm like, I want to show these photos. Like these were my best three looks, you know?
B
Oh, that would be so nice. I went to a red carpet recently where they put me under Danielle Felong.
A
Yeah. Why did that?
B
I have no idea. Because the guy was holding my name and there were a lot of photos under my name. But for some reason. Oh. Because I just wanted to see what other celebrities were at the event I was at. So that night I'm like going through and I'm like, wait, oh, I didn't see this photo of me. I like this one a lot. I click on it. Danielle Felong attends blah blah blah premiere.
A
I don't know how they got that confused.
B
I don't know.
A
They usually. They write your name on like a sheet of paper and have the photographer take a picture of that before you start your photos. Because otherwise how the fuck would they know who broke my chio? Is like obviously like with major celebrities it's easy to identify. Like, yeah, that's Margot Robbie.
B
But like, yeah, it is funny though because they're like. Because they have the sign they'll often say, brooke, over here, Brooke, over here. You know, which makes you feel like a million bucks.
A
And like every. Everybody knows me.
B
Yeah, I know. Then you're like, oh, there is literally a man next to me holding a sign.
A
Yeah. It's literally their job. I'm like. I'm like, thank you. Thank you so much for holding the sign.
B
Yeah, yeah.
A
I'm just like everybody else. I'm out here, you know, making my New Year's resolutions, and I'm the most impatient person ever. But I'm learning. I'm learning, you know, I'm learning through patience.
B
Apparently. Brooks, Brooke is very patient.
A
I'm learning to be patient because I have to tell you guys, like, the best things truly do come with time. And I feel like neutral is like, the best example of that.
B
Yeah.
A
I have seen the impact that neutrophil has had on several people in my life, let me tell you. I feel like they'll casually mention, like, I'm going to start neutrophil, and then, like, you blink. You see them like, four months later and you're like, oh.
B
Oh, yeah. That's the thing with neutrophil. I think people are like, oh, my gosh. Like, no, it genuinely works. Especially like when I, you know, I think it's a really good idea to take a photo of before because you will see the after. Like, I feel like when you see yourself every day, like, oh, my gosh. But then you look back and it's. It's just amazing. When Nutrafol does, and especially if you're already taking other supplements, it's so easy to just pop it in your routine.
A
Pop it in. Nutrafol is the number one dermatologist recommended hair growth supplement brand. It's trusted by over one and a half million people. I have to say, I was just, you know, getting a little injectable and, like, you know, in the office, like, they've got neutrophil. I feel like they always have neutrophil, like, in medical offices and stuff. Like, it's. They love neutral.
B
It's the brand to use.
A
Yeah.
B
Like, it's amazing. And I feel like so many people are going through, like, hair loss right now or if you're postpartum. Like, there's so many people, like, I feel like I'm always talking about my hair these days.
A
So many reasons.
B
Guys, girls, girls, like every. Everyone's talking about hair.
A
Oh, totally, totally.
B
That's why it's so important.
A
It's so important. It's, like, really tied to your identity.
B
I've really learned confidence.
A
I mean, we know I've gone through some journeys.
B
This time last year, Brooke had red hair.
A

B
I feel like when we first moved here, the first few years, there was a ton of movie premieres and we were like going to any and all. I mean, I still really get excited about them, but now I feel like I'm more like, okay, do I actually, am I excited about this movie?
A
Well, I feel that way about events in general. I feel like that was like also the thing. Like I would. Any invitation, like, like four years ago, like when events like started really happening again. Like 20, late 20, 21, early 22. I feel like there was like a lot of going on. Like, people were just having parties left and right. I was, I would go to anything, literally. And an invite would come by inbox. I was like, I'm there, I'm there. Like, it was no question.
B
I'm literally on my way as we speak. Yeah, no, we would text. We'd be like, okay, yeah, so we'll go to this, then that, then rattle the tat. Like, there were so many things. It could literally be like free hand massages in celebration of a new Soap.
A
Were there 100. I definitely went to some really random stuff. I went like to rant, like odd locations. I would go like deep in Brooklyn for like the launch of this, like, niche brand. Yeah. Like, I don't know anybody here, but I, I wasn't. Look, I was invited. I was invited. Like, I should, I have to artists.
B
New artists, you know, and breaking into the scene, breaking into the. And that's. I do feel like that's how we met so many of the, the people that live here. And it's such a great thing and I think it's really important if you are doing content creation and you move to New York and like, you gotta kind of go to everything. And I feel so grateful that now we're to a place where we can kind of be more selective, I guess, and just really go to things that we really care about. Have we ever told the story we wouldn't like, say the brand of the staycation? We did.
A
Oh, my gosh. I don't think we did. Maybe we like podcast after and we're like, great time, like. But I don't think that we should.
B
We like, tell it like a loose.
A
Yeah. I mean, this was in the era of time when we were going to literally anything and everything that we were invited to. And it was a staycation with.
B
This doesn't even exist anymore.
A
Yeah, it was a brand, but they sold all kinds from different brands. Yeah. Yes.
B
So they don't even exist anymore to my knowledge.
A
No, no, they don't. They had a big push. Yeah. This time I'm trying to like, think about. It was like probably four, four or five years ago now, right?
B
Yeah, it was a while ago. And it was a. I think it was like the first staycation, at least that I was invited to since, like living in New York. And we were so excited about it. We were like, oh, my God. It was that like a. A nice hotel. Like, I'm not even gonna lie, you guys, it wasn't even at like the nicest hotel.
A
No, no.
B
We were just so excited. But it was like, obviously it's exciting to stay at a hotel. Brooke and I totally.
A
And it was like the itinerary was like pretty packed for the hours. It was like you're gonna do dinner and then usually you have to do content for the brand. Usually they get, you know, the rights to take photos of you with the products. Like, Danielle, Carolyn loves this product, you know, whatever treatments. And I put that in quotes because it was.
B
It was like they would put like a lotion on head massage. I don't even know if they were. Maybe the neck. Yeah. I think like the next day we got like head massages or I don't know. It was something so interesting. But looking back, we're like, oh, my gosh. And it's so funny because we got close with a couple other influencers on, like, still to this day we talk about it because we all just like went in someone's room and we were all just talking and half the group wanted to leave.
A
Did they have a share a room?
B
Yes. That's where it all started. The other thing guys we're not complaining, but, like, this is. We're being more raw in 2026.
A
No, I. I wanted. So we were hanging out with a bunch of people and they're like, oh, no, I'm. I'm going home right now. Like, I'm going back to my apartment 10 minute walk from here. Because we're, you know, in the mid. Daniel was like, how. How could you leave? Like, as if you were like cutting class. Like, you're like, guys, you can't leave. Like, I was like, this isn't jail. Like, we can go. We're free. We have free will. Like, you're free to go.
B
Like, we were in twin beds.
A
Yeah. No, I told you. I said, danielle, I want to go home because my house is nicer than this place and I will sleep more soundly at my house 10 minutes down the road. Like, know, I didn't.
B
Guys, I didn't let Brooke go.
A
No. She convinced me to say. I was like, I. I mean, I guess, like, it was. The thing that was fun was like all being together. It was like, it ended up being good. It was a fun night with the people who did stay.
B
Yes.
A
A few that made it. We survived.
B
It was like we're on a reality show.
A
I don't know why I'm like, are.
B
They gonna do bed checks?
A
Like, yeah, you. Because it was new. It was like, it was one of your first. I feel like you moved here and like, you know, it was like you were like, oh, my God, I don't wanna. And to be fair, you don't want to, like, get on someone's like, shit list. Like, you don't want it to be like, morning to be like, Danielle and Brooke left.
B
Like, yeah, I. And I still feel like that, like, even like, if we leave events early, I'm always like, ah. Like, you know, it's. But at the same time, like, I know probably no one actually cares. But when it's like a longer stay or if. I know they put a lot of money in it. I knew that we had the room, but.
A
But we.
B
You were like, we're gonna come back in the morning. I was like, you're so right. Like there was something the next morning and totally.
A
No, I was like, I. I just want to sleep in my own bed.
B
Like, honestly, now, I mean, if it was today, this obviously, I'd be like, we're going home.
A
Yeah.
B
Like now. I mean, going to my king bed.
A
Like, I would go back to my house in Brooklyn.
B
Yeah.
A
And still come back. Yeah. I mean, I think that Also, when we first moved to the city, you actually did that recently too, or something for something. When I, Katie stayed.
B
We won't get into it, but there was something where.
A
Oh, yes. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. It was like a video shoot type of thing. I mean, they were okay with it. I told, told that I wasn't gonna stay there. They were like, we have a hotel room for you. And I was like, look, it's an hour drive back home. Like, I'm. If your guys are cool with it, I'll see you at 9am the call time for tomorrow. And they were like, oh, that's totally fine. It was not like it was like a place to stay. It wasn't like, you know, when we arranged there's the room drops and whatever, like, that was. It was like a job. That was a shoot. Like, oh, yeah.
B
And they literally were like, we have a place. And you're like, oh, you have a place. It's not like, oh, we'd love for you to stay in this.
A
Yeah, it wasn't, I gauge it. I was like, how would you, like, do you think it would be cool if I went on? And they were like, sure, yeah. I was like, thank you. I'll. I'll be fresh for set tomorrow.
B
Yeah, I'll be here right now. I'll be here at 8. 55.
A
Yeah, I was, I was really prompt that day and I told Katie, I was like, look, Katie, I can take you home. I was like, you have an out. And she was so responsible. She was like, oh, I'll stay.
B
You know, I think she regretted it maybe, or maybe.
A
Yeah, I just, I'm such a, like, when I have the opportunity to like, I, I, I like a staycation, a lux staycation, don't get me wrong. But to be honest, like, I've curated my life in such a way. I love my mattress. I love my pillow. I love my bed. I love my shower. I feel so blessed. Like, I love my house.
B
I, I love, I love that. I love being home. I'm the same way these days. Any excuse to be home. Like, I. Yeah, home, Home team. Home, team home. I think that's also like a big January thing too. But it is really true once you start to really make your home nest, if you will. And like now living with Ryan too. Like, I caught myself the other night, I was watching the Golden Globes at my friend's place and I, and it wasn't even over and I was like, I'm gonna, I'm gonna go so I can hang out With Ryan. I was like, oh, my God.
A
Hey, guys, I'm. I'm gonna go. They were.
B
They were like, you're. You're not even here for the final movie. I was like, honestly, I haven't seen half these movies. Like, I.
A
So it's fine. I saw a lot of those. I had not heard of TV shows. I knew all of them, but the movies, I was like, I unaware.
B
I know. And of course, every Adolescence won so much. But I haven't seen Adolescence.
A
Did you watch it? No. It seemed dark. I heard that it was a dark. Dark energy show.
B
Speaking of dark energy. But I really want to watch it. Begonia.
A
Did you hear about this? I don't even know streaming services.
B
It's. I don't know, but I know Emma Stone stars in it. And basically this guy, like, literally thinks she's an alien, and he, like, captures her because he thinks she's an alien. And I won't. I know the whole thing. I made Delaney tell me the whole story because I thought I wasn't gonna watch it. And then she told me, now I want to watch it.
A
Oh, my gosh. No. I have not heard of that.
B
Yeah.
A
Did you watch People we Meet on Vacation?
B
Yes. Did you?
A
I'm like, halfway through, and I. I think that the casting was really well done. I think so.
B
Good.
A
I did read the book. I'm that annoying person. Not a huge Emily Henry fan.
B
Okay.
A
To be honest. And I think that the movie is better than the book so far, at least from what I'm seeing. I just. I wasn't, like, a huge fan of the book. I remember reading being like. Okay. Like, I don't. I. Her writing just. I know they're really, really popular books. Like, don't get me wrong. And I'm not out here. Like, I have elite taste or whatever it is. Like, I. I just. I don't know. I just don't really connect with them that much. I feel like the stories. I've read a few of them and they're. They're very similar.
B
Yeah. They're just not for me, I don't think. I. I think there was one Emily Henry book I was going to read, and you really don't waste your time because, you know, I take forever to get through a book, so you really know.
A
Some of them have a bit. I love a build up, but this one actually does have, like, a good.
B
Build up, so this one is great. I. The movie. Actually, Ryan watched it with me, which he literally doesn't usually like to watch movies like that. So I feel like that's my only.
A
Note was that I feel like it could have been in a TV series rather than.
B
It feels like a TV series. I know what you mean.
A
I feel like, given the fact that there was, like, so much history, like, they could have gone. They could have done, like, episodes on the trips that they want.
B
Each summer trip is. It's interesting. At first, I was trying to keep up with what was going on. I was like, okay, so it's like they do a trip every summer. Then we're to the four the present. And it is just so beautiful.
A
And I just don't really believe in, like, platonic friends like that, though.
B
This episode is sponsored by Better Help. I feel like there's so many times where I'm just going through the same situation in my head a thousand times. I want to call Brooke again to tell her about it, and I'm like, you know what? No, I. There is therapy, and that's why Better Help is so amazing. I love therapy specifically because I am getting. I'm talking to someone who's unbiased with me, my life, with my relationships. Like, I love that so much because they don't have a tie to anything. They're just there to listen to you. And selfishly, I just love that I, you know, I don't have to ask about their life.
A
I absolutely love that, too. And I feel like, specifically my life. I love therapy because I'm going through a lot of, like, change this year. I have a lot of, like, things kind of in the works, but, like, I'm very uncertain about a lot of it, and it's kind of, like, out of my hands, which, like, it just. It makes me feel a little anxious, you know? So I love, like, talking it through with someone that, as you said, completely not involved. And, like, I could. They're just like a sounding board.
B
They're a sounding board for you. It could be a week where there's not much going on, but then you're like, oh, wait, I didn't even realize I really needed to talk about this. It's. It's amazing. Better Help has quality therapists, you guys. A
Mean to tell me that you're, you know, attracted to one another? You know, it, you two attractive people that are single at various times at similar. And yeah. And you travel, you make a trip together every year and.
B
Yeah, my boyfriend's cool with it. And then. Do you. Are you watching Emily Paris?
A
No, no, I fell off.
B
Do you remember Alfie? Did you ever see Alfie? No, maybe not. I think he was in like the second or third.
A
Okay.
B
Anyways, he's in People we made on vacation.
A
Oh, I don't know.
B
You probably haven't gotten to that part, but I was like, oh, hello. I love him so much and I'm so excited to see him on the screen.
A
Wow.
B
There's more to look forward to in this movie for you. But it is. It is fun to have shows to watch. I started the show called the Chair company. It's very off brand for me to like, like, so bas. It's on hbo, Max or who? I don't know. One of those.
A
Okay.
B
And. But my trainer told me to watch it.
A
It was.
B
It's like the most, like, awkward. It's almost like it's this guy, Tim Robinson, Tim Robbins, something like that. Yeah. And I guess he's like, known. Anyways, Ryan had already watched on his own. He was like, you would hate it. We started it. I think it's hilarious, but also, like, it's a mystery. It's basically, without giving way too much, this guy, like, is part of this company that builds malls and he is in front of his whole company and he sits on a chair and it falls and. And his life purpose now is to figure out this Chair Company what's going on with the chair, why it broke. Like, he's so embarrassed and he's so obsessed with it.
A
And so he.
B
But then someone's like, don't go looking into the chair. Like, I don't know.
A
I don't know where. Is it old? Like an old shower? No, it's new. Okay. Okay.
B
It's newish. I don't know. It's something I would never.
A
It's a comedy, but, like, dry comedy.
B
Yeah. Like, I. He reminds me of, like, a Steve Carell mixed with this, like, comedian. I like Lenny Marcus. I don't know how to explain it. It's quite. I don't know if I'm gonna continue to like it, but.
A
No, I like, that's really.
B
It's a show you can watch.
A
Yeah, I would watch that. We're kind of. I'm trying to think what we've watched recently. We did be Traders. Traders is back. Mr. Beast Games is back. Yeah, it's okay. Like, I have to say, it's such a crazy show, Mr. Beast Games, because I feel like if, like, I would not have heard of it had I not, like, had my boyfriend bring it up to me. And the prize this year is $5 million. Like, I'm like, how is no one talking about this?
B
Like, that's so much money. That's probably the most money you get on traders.
A
They split a prize pot. They split a prize pot. You at the end of like, 75,000 between, like, five people, usually. Oh, I know. That's what I'm saying. I'm like, how is this possible?
B
That with traders, do you know who the traders are? Like, the viewer?
A
Yes, yes, yes, yes.
B
And then you know who the nunch. I don't understand.
A
Yes, we. We see everything, but they obviously don't know. Their objective of the game is to.
B
Figure out who the traders are by, like, doing things.
A
Yeah.
B
Do you think you like it? Obviously, because the. The way of, like, what the game is, but because, you know, a lot of the reality stars. Or do you. Not even.
A
Both. Yeah. I think it's because I grew up watching reality tv, so, like, a lot of them are, like, real throwbacks. Like.
B
Yeah, yeah.
A
There was one guy. I don't want to give spoilers, so I won't say what happens, whatever, but that was on it from Big brother season, like, 10. I think it was like, 10, 11, 12, or 13. One of, like, a very early season. Like, I think now they're on like, 27 or something. Like, and I watched it when I was, like, in middle school, so that's cool to see. Yeah. I was like, oh, my gosh, what a throwback. Like, I remember him so well. He was a Persona, you know?
B
Yeah.
A
He had a whole thing.
B
Anyways, that's fun to watch.
A
Yeah, I think that's why I like it. But I also like the idea of it. I think you would like it, too. Because I do think they're trying to figure out who. Who is the traitor. And it's not necessarily through the competitions and everything. Like, people will just say things, and you're like, oh, that's something a trader would say. But meanwhile, they're completely, like. It's interesting to see, like, how completely off they'll be in their guesses.
B
It's like a murder mystery.
A
They literally frame someone completely. Like, every week. They have to vote someone and they. You could tell it's like a mob mentality. They're like, we're gonna frame Danielle this week or whatever it is. Like, you know, and they'll, like, present their reasons. They, like, stand up like a court case. And they're like, I think Danielle's the traitor. Because, you know, she's mentioned, like, that she. She had it out for this guy and he got murdered last night. Like, she meant, like, you kind of.
B
It sounds like the murder mystery. It is 80s where you're like, I think it's this based off the conversations I'm having and things.
A
It basically was. Was. Is like, that.
B
That is fun. No, it feel like it's getting a lot of buzz this season. A lot of shows are getting a lot of buzz this season. I don't know if reality TV is, like, so back or what's going on, but I. Or game shows, I guess, specifically, like, Dancing with the Stars, obviously. Yeah. Love Island. Us. I mean, that's always been really popular, but I feel like. I don't know.
A
I didn't watch the Rob Love island season, but he's on Traders, and I.
B
Did watch that one.
A
Oh, my God.
B
Handsome man.
A
No, like, every time he comes on my screen, I'm like, I'm blushing. No, literally, I'm like, oh, my gosh. They should just show him only, like.
B
Literally all of the time.
A
Literally all the time. He's a beautiful face.
B
He is so stunning.
A
And I love that he is, like, that dark energy vibe. Like, I love that.
B
I do like that serious bad boy plays with reptiles.
A
Yes. He's perfect for this show. Like, oh, my God, it fits so well.
B
That's really fun. Yeah, maybe I'll watch.
A
I. Yeah, all the, like, older women, like, the housewives, like, love him too. They're like, Rob, like, yeah, they're. And then, like, a bunch of, like, the gay guys, like, I want Rob R. To throw me around. That's good. Like, they all are obsessed with him. I'm like, I get it, honestly. Yeah. Handsome, handsome man.
B
I love talking about TV when I'M watching tv. I feel like we're both kind of tuned into some things right now.
A
Yeah, I've been cozy. Cozy at home. Energy. I'm like, what have I been doing? Pretty much watching tv. Like, that's been.
B
I know. I feel. I feel like you've been getting a lot of questions recently about, like, your life.
A
Oh, my God. I mean, yeah, so many questions about what's up in my life and like, the. The next. I guess, like, I don't even want to say next steps because let me just walk it back. I think people. A few people unders. Not a few. Many of you understand, like, what the situation is going on in my life, but I don't think I've ever, like, sat down and, like, fully explained it, like, where. Yeah, like, my boyfriend's career and all things like that. So Ben, my boyfriend of four over four years now he is in medical school. He's in his fourth year of medical school. We started dating before he even started medical school. For context. Yeah. I knew nothing about medicine. The only, like, medicine adjacent person I knew was your dad. Like, I don't. I don't have any family. I don't have any friends. I don't have any. Like, I knew nothing about this. So when we first started dating, it was all very new to me, and I was just kind of like, yeah, let's see where things go. Like, you know, you're not like, planning for, like, the future. The future. When you're like, two months into dating something.
B
Yeah.
A
You're like, okay, it's awesome. Like, you have passions, you know, that's really important. And really being here for the ride of it has been really, really just such a journey. I feel like I'm on this journey too. Yeah. Not that I can take credit for, obviously, any of the, like, the hard work that he's put in and all that stuff, but I feel like a lot of the emotion that comes with it because I feel like there's a lot of, like, highs and lows, I think that happens with any sort of school environment. But then also, I feel like these people, they just put so much pressure on themselves. I mean. Yeah. So I've met so many of his friends from it. Like, now so many of his friends I would consider friends, like, from medical school. So now I know, like, a ton of people that are, like, future doctors, and they're really future doctors, like, very soon. So.
B
Wow.
A
I'm gonna explain in very, very simple terms, but you go through the four years of medical school part of it is like classroom learning vibes. Take a test. The other part is like clinical. So you go in and like, you know, have real life experience. And then your fourth year in March, you go through this thing called the match. You guys may have seen this day on TikTok. It's a really big day.
B
It's a viral day.
A
Viral, big day. Coming up, Match day. I cry before we even like, we're dating. I feel like I knew of this content and it's very emotional. And it's because everybody across the country opens their envelope or their decision at the same time to find out where they are going to do the rest of their training and you know, move or whatever. Some people don't have to move. It just it's so they.
B
Sorority recruitment.
A
It basically is like sorority recruitment in terms of the algorithm. So right now, in the past few months, Ben and everybody else who's in their fourth year medical school, some people take a gap year. It really just depends. But you know, if you are applying, you apply and it kind of is like almost applying for college again. Like you send out a bunch of like applications online and then you get back interviews. So he's been like in the thrust of like interviews, which are. They've been virtual, which I said because that's why the singing choir and stuff would have been a problem because, you know, he's like on like serious interviews.
B
And I'm like, you're gonna have to.
A
Yeah, I'm like the Maybelline carolers.
B
Yeah.
A
So he's been like, definitely really busy with those. And then they do like socials and stuff too. It's been like a lot of zoom activity.
B
And you've gotten to be on the show.
A
Yeah, there was a few that were like, you know, partner night or whatever.
B
Looks like I got partner night tonight. Gotta go.
A
There's some second looks coming up which are like visits, like campus tour, basically. But it's. They're not necessarily colleges. It's like hospital affiliated programs really across the country. And I guess the next question that a lot of people have been asking me is like, what, what are you gonna do? Like, are you gonna. I've been seeing the comment, like, what's.
B
Oh, I'm getting questions.
A
What's we're gonna do? She has to move across the country. Like, yeah. And do you like. Obviously we've talked about it, obviously, like.
B
You know, we've gone through all the situation or the.
A
As much as we can.
B
I know.
A
That's the thing is that there are a lot of different Outcomes that could possibly happen in this. And it's almost more stressful to go through and be like, if this, then this. Right. Rather than to have like an overarch, overarching, like, idea of like, no matter what this or that. Yes, basically. I mean, the long story. The long story short is, like, assuming by the point of time that we would have to be moving, which he would be starting residency in July. I mean, I'm not moving if I'm not engaged. Like, he knows that, like, I'm just like, that's like, point blank period. And that's just like, on, like, that's just like a moral principle that I feel like I've, like, yes. Had since, like, thinking about this next step of my life. But with that being said, like, you know, would you move whatever? Like, I mean, yes, because my job is very mobile. I think that that's the good thing. But with that being said, I think most of the job is here. Like, so it would have to be a situation where I'm like, I. I moved. Maybe, like, I live somewhere else, but I'm traveling back here all the time. Or maybe there's two places, like, you know, one in each city. Like I said, it's hard to really speculate.
B
It's hard to know because you literally do not know until that day. But I think it's good. I feel like you guys have had so many conversations of, like, okay, if it, you know, is in another state, okay, then I can do this or whatever. And it. Because you do get so many opportunities here in New York and obviously your fam. Both of your families are totally.
A
I love you. No, you're here. No, I, like, I love New York. Like, I really feel like I've established, like, I. I get. Not only is, like, a lot of my work opportunities, I have one coming up this week. Like, I would not have had that opportunity if I didn't live in New York and, like, wasn't, like, an established, like, New York person, you know? So I feel like that along with my family being here, a lot of friends, like, I just feel like, like New York is my place. I feel comfortable, I feel happy. I feel like I truly do love living here.
B
Yeah.
A
And I feel like that's what comes with dating someone in medicine is that it really is just, like, such a wild ride. And it's really. It's just such like, an honor for them to, like, be placed anywhere like this stuff. You guys, I have to tell you, it is so freaking competitive. I thought I knew about competitive because you know, I'm competitive, but, like, this stuff is crazy because everybody. The thing is, like, all these people who are future doctors, they're all smart, they all do great on the test. They all have honors, whatever it is. And then some of them run a marathon. Some of them, you know, spent the summer in Cambodia doing research. Like, they're all. They all have things. They're all, like, truly those. Like, those people that you meet, and you're just like, how the. Like, I don't understand. You know, when you meet someone like that and you, like, they. They say they're like, you know, I've. I've hiked Mount Kilimanjaro.
B
Yeah.
A
I. I've never gotten below a B on a test in my life. And I'm like, how.
B
Like, do you ever sleep in?
A
Yes. Like, those are, like. I've met people like that through sort of, like, him and this. And just people who are, like, truly, truly so smart and also, I think, passionate about what they're into. I've always wanted to be with someone who's, like, very passionate about what they do.
B
So passionate. Yeah. I mean, I often call Ben just to, like, make him have me feel better. You guys know I have, like, the worst health anxiety. Or, like, he's just. He. He's so knowledgeable, and he's just so. Like, even when we were at the football game and I was feeling cold, he was like, put the hand warmer on your neck. It's. And you could tell he's, like, really passionate about it, like, with everything. Even if it's sunscreen or what, you know, because he's not even specialized in anything right now. Right. Like, no. All general. And it's just so cool how much they learn. And I know how much he studies, and it's amazing.
A
Yeah. Yeah. It really is. It's definitely been like, it. Definitely. I feel like I. Maybe I haven't articulated it, like, well enough in terms of how it has been like a journey, but it's been definitely, like, frustrating at times. Like, I'm going to be completely honest. Like, there's been times when I think that the foundation of the relationship is so strong that it was never, like. That was never the question. It would just be frustrating when it's like, oh, it's my birthday, but he has a test the next day. It's like, oh, so, like, weddings and stuff. And it's like, what? Yeah, what? Not able to go to weddings, whatever. And really, you only understand if you understand it. It's so hard to explain to People like, no, he. He really, really can't be here. Like.
B
Like, oh, he didn't feel like asking. Like, it's not like that.
A
Yeah, absolutely not. And I know that it only gets crazier in residency. That's what everybody says, of course, because most of the programs that he's applying to, it's. You work for six days. You get one day off. So you are working, like, yeah, yeah. Like, that's. That's. That's crazy. Like, to me, that's. I just. I'm not built for that lifestyle. That's why I just am so appreciative to people who are medical professionals. It's given me. I've found a lot more grace for those people in my life. And just. I mean, I'm so much more. I've always been impressed by them, obviously. Like, you know, I'm always like, oh, my God, you're amazing. But now, really knowing how much they put into it, how many years. So now he does residency where I guess I should say, hopefully, I'm not boring everybody.
B
No, bro, by the way, I am, like, people have been asking and.
A
Okay. Okay.
B
I think this is great. You're getting a GotG exclusive. I am currently, like, actively curating my wardrobe. I feel like we all know I love a trendy piece.
A
Okay.
B
Like, I love being crazy, being like, brooke, trust me, in a couple months sometimes, you know, and then other times, I'm like, oh, that didn't hit, you know? But that's why we love corporate quints, because they have these amazing, like, luxe essentials that feel effortless and look so polished. Like, I'm really trying to shop for things now that I'm like, I'm not gonna wear this once. I'm not gonna wear this twice. I'm gonna wear this often, like, every single week, even. Especially, like, with the winter. You know, these things take up a lot of space in your closet, so you want to make sure it's something that you really like. And Quince just has such amazing pieces. They have 100 silk tops and silk skirts for easy dressing up, perfectly cut denim for everywhere. I mean, you were saying you have.
A
She. I.
B
We both have sheets from Quinn. Or you have a duvet.
A
Yeah, I have a lovely duvet cover. They have amazing bedding. They have amazing, just, like, everyday essentials I have found now in, like, switching out my wardrobe from, like, winter to summer. Yeah, the quince pieces stay, I have to say. Like, I've got, like, my silk tops that I wear more in, like, the summery Time. And then I've got like, my, my Quint's rotation of sweaters that I'm wearing in the fall and winter. And I feel like, you know, that they're good when they, like, they say.
B
You know they're good. I feel like so many of our friends are starting to discover Quince, which is so fun. Like, we can all just talk about their quince pieces. I can't stop wearing my cashmere socks from Quince because it, it be cold out still and it looks, it feels so good under my, under my boots. And I just feel very Lux knowing that I'm wearing cashmere socks.
A
Oh, you know what else I just got from Quince? The, like, runner. When you first walk into my apartment, no way to get a new runner. They have, like, so it's like a rug. It's amazing. It is so lux. I have to tell you, it feels like a piece that I would have gotten, like, at a very, very expensive store.
B
That's good to know. I. I could use a runner. I don't have a runner.
A
That's like, I'm an adult. I got a new runner.
B
For a second, I was like, you. I know.
A
I run it.
B
I was like, what? They run? But I see. But Quince does have everything, so I wasn't really surprised. So if you want to refresh your wardrobe with Quince, don't wait. Go to quin.comgals for free shipping on your order and 365 day returns. Now available in Canada too. That's Q U I n c e.com gals to get free shipping and 365 day returns. Quince.com gals yeah, I want to direct.
A
Everybody here because people are like, asking me on my YouTube and stuff. They're like, please, like, what are you gonna do? Assuming that I'm engaged, which is the plan, you know, like, that is going to happen. Yeah. I mean, we've been doing it for. I don't think that that's, like, so shocking. I feel like people were like, yeah, it's coming. But I also, like, don't know the exact time frame of that. And I'm not really too worried about that, though. That's like the second tier to all of this. Because I want everything in my life to have a moment. I want it to be like, match day is a moment moment, graduation moment. Like, I don't want to all be together, the engagement to be, like, brushed under the rug. Like, I want that to be like, a big deal.
B
No, it is a very.
A
Yeah.
B
I know. I. I. Rose, I asked you. Or maybe I spent also. So will you, like, tell me when it's gonna happen? But I guess it's hard. Cause we're, like, together.
A
I know. I know. We'll. We'll see. We'll figure it out. I'm excited because things need to be figured out. I mean, the schedule's filling up fast. And that's the thing. Like, almost all of these weekends are booked up. I don't want it to, like, be necessarily, like, sandwiched in between a ton of my friends weddings. Like, I. I mean, I know that it might happen. It has to happen sometimes, but, like, I want it to be. I want it to be my moment. I've waited.
B
Like, you have waited for your moment. We've got lots of moments.
A
No.
B
20.
A
26.
B
Big year for Brooke.
A
Yeah. Big, big year. So resident. So for the past four years, he's been in school. So he's been paying you. You, you know, more school. You pay like, it's same as law school, vet school, whatever. Like, I guess. What do they call them? Like, are they graduate programs? Technically. Because it's like further education. Right. Like, you have your. Because you go to college. You go to four years of college.
B
Or how you were getting your master's.
A
Yeah.
B
Or something you're paying to go.
A
But even more, I. I also had no idea. The medical school, I think, was four years. Like, I just. I guess I never. I literally never thought about it. Like, I. Prior to, you know, dating him, I just was always like, oh, that's a lot of school. Right.
B
Yeah.
A
And then after the four years. So now starting in July when he starts residency. That's a good way to look at it. Kind of is like your first job, but you're still in training. Yeah. So you're kind of like, you are getting paid. So you start getting paid, which is nice. Yeah. And that's been. It's been hard, like, you know, dating someone who's like a student. And I mean, not. I do not think I'm old. And let me clarify, you know, at the age of 28. But dating someone who's a student at 28 and doesn't have an income, like, it's. It's complicated.
B
Yeah.
A
It definitely complicates things for sure.
B
It's like, you know, there's such a. Not a standard, but everyone has different ways.
A
Oh, my gosh. Yes. Tick tock thinks, you know, that the man.
B
Yeah.
A
If the man doesn't pay for everything you got, you better run, sis.
B
Like, it's like, hold on. Things are a little different in 2026 as well, and, like, your situation. So it's hard, I'm sure, when you're seeing all these things and you're like, okay, well, he also provides for you in so many other ways.
A
Completely.
B
Like, you come home to cooked meals all day.
A
I was gonna say the past, like, few days, I, like, I haven't been cooking, and he's been, like, busy doing stuff, and, like, nothing's been cooked because, like, I'm not gonna, like, I don't do it. And I realize. It makes me realize how much he, like, truly does, and it's very, very impressive.
B
So he'll be in residence.
A
So he'll be in residency for. For three years, and then there's a fellowship. And so I'm not gonna bore you guys with, like, the future because, you know, that's what my parents asked me. My. My family.
B
Would you. Would his fellowship be in the same place as his residency or. Not necessarily.
A
It can be, but doesn't. Not necessarily.
B
You're here, so you should do it here. Okay.
A
I think it probably. I don't know this to be exactly true, but I think it kind of helps, like, because you have the connections and stuff. Like, you start to know people that, you know, work in that program and, like, work at that hospital or whatever it is.
B
So I think that would make sense.
A
Yeah. A lot of, like, I mean, connections is, like, everything, but Ben's parents are not doctors. His grandparents are not doctors. Like, there's. Right. He doesn't have medical in his family either, which I really, like, commend him for it because there are. And nothing wrong with it. Like, if your parents are and, like, then you decide to go into it, but it's. It's really hard to go into it raw with no connections.
B
Raw.
A
Raw.
B
Yeah. No, like, I. It's amazing because he's made so many friends, thankfully, which, you know, they can all kind of help together. But no advice, though.
A
It's not even the connection always. I mean, yeah, if both your parents are doctors and, like, in New York City, like, yeah, they're probably going to be well connected and, like, you know, be able to.
B
Oh, this is my buddy.
A
Yeah. Yeah. My daughter's amazing. And not that they. I'm sure that they. They earned it. Like, if you're smart enough to be a doctor like, you, you. You know, I would. I would use the connection too, of course. Right. But I think that having really, like to seek your own guidance is like, to me, that's like, really, really impressive. And I don't even know how, you know, you want. Like, how do you wake up one day and you're like, I want to be a doctor. Like, I genuinely don't.
B
Certainly have never had that feeling. Yeah, it's amazing. I mean, maybe, like, in, like, chemistry class. I don't know. Is he like, oh, I like this, Like.
A
Yeah, he. I think he likes. He always liked science, and then he knew, like, I think in college he came to, like, the conclusion of. But it. I mean, it's. I. I feel like our career is constantly evolving and changing. Like, yeah, we're doing the same thing, I guess, that we did when we were kids by making YouTube videos. But it's evolved and changed so many different ways. And I feel like being a doctor definitely, like, evolves and changes, but you have to make such a monumental decision. And, like, you're deciding. I. When you're in undergrad, you're like, I want to go to med school. Most likely, some people have career changes and, like, do it later. But that's a little more rare. Yeah.
B
Because then it really pushes back, you know, the rest of your life. Totally.
A
Four years is a long time. I mean, like, we started dating when we were. You were. I was 24.
B
Yeah. So it's been a minute. Wait. Because I know people are going to ask, and we can cut this out.
A
Yeah.
B
Will you keep the current apartment you have now?
A
Okay. So I'm not planning to sell it. Like, I. If I have to, you know, like, if I have to leave, then I most likely, like, economically would make sense to rent it out, just due to the fact that it's a larger mortgage, it's a larger apartment.
B
Yeah.
A
And if I was, like, kind of coming and going.
B
Yeah.
A
I might, you know, reduce the size. Like, get, like, something. Okay.
B
Because last time we talked, you were just gonna keep it.
A
Once again. Hey, up. And there's, like, so many various scenarios that it's, like, it's hard to plan.
B
It depends. Like, if the. If how the rent at where is, like, not really expensive at all.
A
Exactly.
B
Then maybe you could afford to, like, keep. Obviously, you can afford, but you know what I mean.
A
No, it makes it.
B
What Makes more sense.
A
Thank you. Yes, exactly.
B
But if it. Right. There's. Yeah. It's just so hard because there's so many. I was just trying to think of questions that people might. No, please think, please, while you're asking. But I feel like you guys really have, like, it is just literally, like, it's going to Be crazy because when match day happens, that's when it's going to be like, okay, now let's chat. Which is because you were talking about like, you guys want to have like a party or something and you're like, we might need to have the party the next day because there's going to be so much to take in.
A
So much. So, like, I think that there's a lot of emotion. Even if, like, because you could have a list, I just, I'm imagining this from a third party, you know, Like, I think that you could have a list of so many like exciting options, but if it's not your number one, maybe you get a little let down. Like I imagine it's the same thing with sororities, right? Like when you rank your, it pretty much is the similar thing. If you guys did that in Greek life or know about it, like you, you know, rank your choice sororities, like if you get your second, like, I'm sure you're super excited, but I'm sure there's a part of you that's like, wow, what would my life be if I got my first though? Or, or maybe even vice versa. Who knows? Like, there's a lot of emotion there.
B
And he's gotta sit there and rank em. Did he already like do that and submit it?
A
Yeah, and that's the other thing. Like I, I feel like I want to be clear that I'm like, I don't want to be. Like I'm part of the process, but like I am part of the process. We're planning a life together and like I am very much so. Like my opinion is mattering and I think that that's where all of the other things will kind of fall into place. Just because we are like operating sort of as like a decision making unit together. So I, it's really crazy that I never thought that I would be like, you know, involved in big decisions like this.
B
But you know, I can say knowing information that based off where you've told me, like, yeah, it'll be a good situation no matter what. Like great cities, great, amazing option.
A
No, I'm really, really so proud of him. He's put in a lot, like a lot of hard work over the years and like really gone above and beyond an extra, like, yes, like he's, he's.
B
Done so well that hopefully that yes, he'll get his good choice. The litter.
A
Yeah.
B
As they say.
A
Yeah.
B
But yeah, I know. So until March is pretty soon, honestly. So I'll have to stay tuned. I mean it's already mid January.
A
I know.
B
February will fly by.
A
I had that thought. I was like, oh, my God, March. March is, like, not that far at all. And it. So it's March 20th is match day. It's everywhere. You'll see it everywhere. So, I mean, I haven't really thought about exactly, like, what the. The content roll out will be, but obviously you guys will be involved. Yeah.
B
Do you think you'll, like, rip a post that day?
A
Yeah, I feel like I have to. I feel like it's like everyone's gonna be, like, waiting to see.
B
Like, I'm literally gonna.
A
Yeah. And it's so crazy because I do want to plan a party, like, no matter what. Like, you know, just matching is an accomplishment. Like, just like, being like. Because it basically means, like, okay, like, yes, you are. You're gonna be a do. Like, you. You have a job. Yeah. You know, like, it's happening. But I wanted to, like, plan a party, but I'm like, I can't, like, plan, like, the specific program or anything because I, I. You don't know. You don't know until you know it really is opening it. Some schools. This would be, like, my biggest fear. Some. It's. It's sweet to watch the videos. Some schools have you open it up on stage in front of everybody.
B
I thought that's what it is.
A
Oh, no, no, no. You open it private. Like, you're all in a big auditorium. It's literally like, rush.
B
Oh, my God. So you're all in the room and you just open it. Are you with your family or no.
A
Yeah, yeah, yeah. You can have your family. I think it's literally like, you don't even see. Yeah. Like, standing and then that, at that time, they go open your envelope. And then, you know, people scream, people cry.
B
Yeah. Like, ah, yay.
A
Oh, no.
B
I'm going to. Blah, blah.
A
Yeah.
B
Wow. Yeah. So I know because it's like if you knew he was going to a certain place, you could, like, theme it around.
A
Of course. Of course. I'm like, that's the least of my problems. I'm like, damn it. I can't have.
B
I can't. But also, I feel like the general doctor theme. Like, I feel like you have to have the. Those, like, injection things shot shots. And I don't know. I've. I. I look forward to this party.
A
No, me too. I think it's fun to celebrate, like, accomplishments. And of course, in my mind, like, match day is bigger than graduation, but I guess graduation is also really big. I. I don't know in my mind matches me too.
B
I don't step. But yeah, it's such a big deal. And it, it's just something that he's worked towards for so long and, and you, like, I, yeah, you really have been such a, of part, part of this process and like, and I think he's done a really good job too, of including you. And I think it's so cool that some of these schools do these partner nights where you get to hop on and kind of talk to. You kind of got to talk to other partners.
A
Right? Yeah.
B
How it is, you know, what they, you know, what their involvement is and stuff. I think that's really cool.
A
Some of them are very much so, like, you can tell, like, they speak to like, you and like your family. Like, they speak meeting like your partner or if you have kids, like some, I mean, some of these people have, like, that are applying. I mean, even if they're, if they're our age, like, yeah, you could have kids. But some of them are a little bit older, so they have like full fledged, like, families. You know what I mean? Like, they're, this is like if it's a career change or something, maybe, or a lot of people, it seems like a lot of people are on a similar timeline to us, like, re, you know, going to be engaged, recently engaged, really married. It feels like that's kind of what it is. Because if you started med school right after college, you'd be, I think around the age of like 26. I think he did, he, he did research for two years in between. I don't even, All I know is that you have to do so much. You have to really commit to it. Like it really is to the G. Yeah.
B
It's a UGA thing.
A
Oh, my God.
B
No, it is so true. You know what I'm thinking? Well, again, if he ends up not in New York or something and you have Delta diamond, that's for sure.
A
I have Delta platinum. I meant to tell you.
B
I thought you did. You didn't think you did.
A
I, I was striving for it, but it's official. It's official. Thank you. But I don't have diamond. I know.
B
So you have platinum this year. Oh, so you could hit diamond by the end of this year. Who knows? Yeah, I, I, that's one thing to look forward to.
A
I know. Is the travel. And I do feel like at this time, like, I mean, we do travel a lot as it is.
B
Yeah. Like, as it is.
A
And, and I kind of know that the next three years are going to be. We've talked, like, when you're planning for extensive things like this, I, I also, not that I want to sit on my high horse and be like, everybody should talk about these things. But, like, I, I do implore you to, like, you know, talk about these things with your partner. Like, I feel like I almost could have talked about it earlier. Like, we always knew, like, we're building this life together. But I feel like for the longest time I was just like, I'm on a ride. And then I know it's like there is a point where you're like, holy shit. Like, this is serious. Like, oh, my God.
B
Yeah.
A
I'm planning my life around yours and you're planning your life around, around mine.
B
I remember when you told me, like, we had, like, a big conversation. I was like, oh, my God. But it's because. So especially something like this, like, you, you had to. But it's definitely, like, such a good. Even if they're not in medical school, like, it's, it's really important. Like, every now and then me and Ryan check in. I'm like, you still like the idea of Florida one day? You know, like, it's good to.
A
Yes.
B
To make sure. Because if they're not, then you gotta have a quick conversation.
A
Totally.
B
And both people should be happy.
A
And opinions change. Like, normalize, changing. You know, I changed my opinion. Normalize changing your opinion on certain things. But I, I, we pretty much loosely, not loosely, firmly discussed that, like, the next three years are really going to be like, you know, he's gonna be really locked in on work. I'm gonna be really locked in on work. And, like, there is just going to be a lot of travel involved, no matter where it is, even if I stay still. Like, I want the next three years to be like me saying yes to every opportunity. Me, go, go, go.
B
Because he'll be busy in his career.
A
So I think, and I, I think it's really nice to be with someone who has ambition in their own regard. I have no clue what he is doing half the time. I'm gonna be completely honest. I really, I don't want to, like, sit here and be like, I'm dumb. But, like, I really. Sometimes he tries to explain to me things and I'm like, I'm dumb. Like, I am dumb.
B
That's literally me all the time. I couldn't tell you what Ryan does for a living, so don't worry.
A
But I, I kind of love that separation in a way.
B
It's really nice. It's really cool to just be like, oh, wow. Like, we both have these two things.
A
Yes.
B
Like Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.
A
Exactly. Exactly. And it's like, you have.
B
But you both just are so passionate about something, and that's what brings you together almost.
A
And totally the combined goal of, like, we want to build a life, like, together, I think.
B
And you celebrate each other's wins.
A
Yes. It's so nice to be with someone who celebrates your wins and you celebrate theirs. I mean, like, that's.
B
It's the best.
A
I think that's such a great thing. Yeah. I hope that that answers questions. I. I still have questions myself, you guys, just because it gets stressful, like, sitting here and, like, planning for hypotheticals, and then you're planning for hypotheticals. But I don't want to stress him out.
B
Right, right.
A
Because I'm like, oh, shoot. Like, and then I. I kind of do believe in, like, jinxing myself.
B
Yeah.
A
Does that make sense? Like, in a. To a certain extent, I'm like, I don't want to, like, really set myself up for this plan.
B
No lower expense expectations.
A
Yes. That's what I'm saying. So if I lower the expectations and just know loosely the plan is no matter what. I feel like we said, no matter what the plan is, like, we're gonna be together. So I feel like that is, like, the base of. Yeah. Grounded and so beautiful.
B
And I. Yeah. I wonder what that would be like for Gals in the Go if you weren't here. I don't know. I mean, we'd record sometimes here. Gals in the Ghost started when we were not started. But, like, for a good period of time, we were not in the same place, and it was great. And we could do those, like, virtual setups, like, other pod. Like, we'll make it work.
A
We'll make it work. But I. I will be on the go a lot.
B
Yes.
A
Like, that's the thing. So I would be able to, you know, come and do, like, a lot. You know, some. Some of these are a quick flight away. Like, it's not.
B
I could even see a world where. Because you said it's like, usually six days on, one day off, where you're here for five days.
A
Totally.
B
I mean, I don't know what the hours would be like. You don't know either, so. But we've all got you here. We're so excited for you. And thank you for sharing on Gals in the Go. I feel like it's the perfect medium to kind of, like, walk through everything. And I feel like A lot of you guys also, I've seen comments on your videos that people are going through the similar thing.
A
I know.
B
Can you imagine, like, awesome that you.
A
Have, that you guys are so smart. If you're going through, like. I mean, I just have to say, I commend you. You're doing amazing. Thank you for listening. Maybe where you're a brain rot.
B
Like, yeah, I hope we're your brain rot when you come home from, like, opening up people's bodies and you're like, okay, let's just talk about Pilates. I don't know. Like, I hope they're there for you.
A
No, it's so amazing to me that when, like, I. It's amazing to me, anybody going through this. What's really so amazing to me is that it's like, since it is, like, a big time, it's like we're in our 20s. Like, you're usually in your late 20s, like, early 30s, and, like, the start of your career and, like, the training in the medical world. These women are having kids while doing this. Like, you guys are fucking machines. Like, I. I truly cannot even. I feel like I'm going to be the worst version of myself when I'm pregnant in the sense that I'm gonna be like, I can't. I'm sitting down. I'm doing whatever. These people are there on their feet. They're working. Like, you guys are so amazing. And, like, just, oh, my gosh.
B
For health care workers, like, seriously, you guys are so important.
A
Yeah.
B
So important.
A
Is that so crazy? I think about that, like, the guys, like, they get to, like, you know, if they have a kid during, like, yeah, they're training. It's like, yeah, like, yeah, yeah, she's dealing with it. Or. Or maybe. Or it's maybe. Two doctors. Two doctors. Power couple. That's crazy. I can't imagine.
B
Can't imagine.
A
Oh, my God.
B
I'm. I'm excited for your future. And it's just so exciting that we're gonna. You know, it's gonna keep unfolding, so we'll keep updating you guys here. And obviously, Brooks, on her YouTube channel.
A
Is always talking about writing my story in real time.
B
Writing her story. But I think that wraps up today. Today's episode.
A
Oh, I just yapped for, like, an hour. Wow.
B
No, we. That was the plan. We're going to share your plan.
A
Yeah.
B
I have nothing to.
A
The rest is still unwritten.
B
The rest is still unwritten. We will talk to you guys next week.
A
Yes. Love you guys. Love you guys.
B
Bye.
