Danielle Catalano
Hey, guys, what's up? Welcome back to Gals in the Go podcast.
Brooke Michio
It's Brooke and Danielle, and we are here for our last episode of 2024.
Danielle Catalano
It's been a ride, guys.
Brooke Michio
It's been a ride. And that's all for 2024.
Danielle Catalano
It's one of those years where, like, I can't distinct this year and last year and it's really messing me up. Like, that's a good thing, but it's also like, a really weird thing to be like, did I do that last year or was it this year? And, like, I'm just getting timelines confused because I feel like it's all good. But it's like, consistently. Are you definitely.
Brooke Michio
No. 2023 and 2024 are the same years.
Danielle Catalano
That's what I'm saying. It was like, one continued year.
Brooke Michio
One continued year, which is fine, no problem. But it's so funny. I feel like before each year, we're always like, oh, my gosh, I feel like next year is our year. You know, like, it's always that.
Danielle Catalano
And I haven't experienced that feeling quite yet, but maybe, hopefully. How about you? You have. You're like, 2025 is gonna be my, like, no people post, you know, ready.
Brooke Michio
To make next year, like, yet. I feel like, like, December 26th is when I have that moment of, like, it's like that depressing day after Christmas. If you celebrate Christmas. Okay, so Now I need to focus on better life. Yay.
Danielle Catalano
The next year. Getting your life to.
Brooke Michio
Yeah, yeah. But right now, I feel like a lot of people said this in the beginning of the year, and I still agree with it. Like, I literally. I'm sure you too. Like, I can remember exactly how I felt, what I smelled like on 20. Like, January 1st. Like, I remember that so well. December 31st of this past year. Like, I remember everything like it was yesterday.
Danielle Catalano
I like, oh, I do now. Now. It like, took me a second to remember.
Brooke Michio
I'm like, I actually don't know where you were.
Danielle Catalano
I was in Tulum.
Brooke Michio
Right. You were riding bikes.
Danielle Catalano
Bikes around. I know. I was like, how did I celebrate? Like, what? Because I feel like that's the energy that you bring into the air. I was sleeping, so that is the energy that I brought into 2024. Didn't stay up for the ball to drop. I was like, you know, I am pretty tired.
Brooke Michio
Well, because there weren't like, TVs, right.
Danielle Catalano
We were like, what was streaming? I was like, literally on YouTube. Not even YouTube TV streaming. Like YouTube streaming it. Wow.
Brooke Michio
That's like when you're in deep and.
Danielle Catalano
I, you know, it was the end of the trip.
Brooke Michio
Yeah. Giving end night.
Danielle Catalano
Yeah. But you're. You're gonna have a nice rebooted new year this year. I feel like. We'll talk about it when we get back. I mean, we, you know, gals are gonna be off the next two weeks. If you're listening to this in real time. Sorry, sorry.
Brooke Michio
We literally take, like, no time off.
Danielle Catalano
I know.
Brooke Michio
This is no days off.
Danielle Catalano
There's no seasons. We just once. Like, the years, they just roll into one another.
Brooke Michio
Yes. The only thing that we have for us for gals on the go, is these two weeks to separate. We take some time off in the summer. Like one or two weeks. And that's literally it. I'm pretty sure.
Danielle Catalano
And that that's all she wrote and.
Brooke Michio
A lot of all you guys get. So it's almost Christmas. It's almost the holidays. I heard Hanukkah starts on Christmas day this year.
Danielle Catalano
It does. Actually goes to through the new New year.
Brooke Michio
That's so fun.
Danielle Catalano
Yeah, it happens sometimes, which is fun. Yeah.
Brooke Michio
It's holly jolly.
Danielle Catalano
Holly's holly jolly. Vibes all around. Should we start with our favorite and then we can get into everything else that's been going on?
Brooke Michio
Yeah, well. Yeah. We have so much to talk about. We had a live show.
Danielle Catalano
I know, I know. Okay, well, just tell me first.
Brooke Michio
I'll tell you What I'm loving because I think you'll be really pro me.
Danielle Catalano
Oh, I'm ready.
Brooke Michio
I self tanned.
Danielle Catalano
Really?
Brooke Michio
I did. I will say, like, I had like my spray tan on from the live show.
Danielle Catalano
Still.
Brooke Michio
The Kopari gradual tan, it popped up, you know, in my mailbox. Has love. Has love when that happens. And I was drawn to it because it was. I let. I find gradual tans to be more approachable. I'm like, oh, like. But it definitely isn't like your good old Jergens like it. I woke up the next morning and I was tan. And then I did it a second night and I'm obsessed and I love it because I haven't had streaks. I also watched a tick tock on how to self tan your ha. Hands.
Danielle Catalano
What. What are the tips?
Brooke Michio
You probably already do this all, but you put lotion all over your hands and then you take a mitt and self tan your arm. So like most of the product was on your arm. And then like, don't put any more product on the mitt, but just like lightly dust over your hands. But like, not even lightly. She was like, buff it. Buff it all around and then take a wipe like they do when you get a spray tan and wipe around your hands. And I'm. This is pretty impressive because yesterday I just had tan, like on like my. I don't know.
Danielle Catalano
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like not your finger, the base of the hand.
Brooke Michio
Yeah. It's not perfect, but I'm like, wow. Like, my hands have some color.
Danielle Catalano
I'm great.
Brooke Michio
I'm working on it. But that's like, I was just really proud of myself. And it's a great self tan. I love that it's gentle, it goes on clear, which I feel like you like when you can see it, but for me, I do.
Danielle Catalano
I like a little color indicator, but the graduals don't have that.
Brooke Michio
They don't have that. Yeah.
Danielle Catalano
Unless they have like a bronzer built into it. But most of the time they don't. And then it's more of like a makeupy, like, type deal.
Brooke Michio
Yeah, I agree. Well, smell, I'm just. I'm happy. Doesn't smell.
Danielle Catalano
That's huge.
Brooke Michio
I know. Which I don't mind the smell. We always talk about this. Like, if I smell tan, I'm like, oh, that just means something good's about to happen. I'm about to go to an event. Like something like I have a party. Like, to me, self tan equals an exciting thing.
Danielle Catalano
Positive affiliation.
Brooke Michio
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Do you. Do you feel that way?
Danielle Catalano
I don't mind it. I agree similarly, but I could see how someone could be like, that is vile. That is disgusting.
Brooke Michio
Men do not like the smell. They know.
Danielle Catalano
I know.
Brooke Michio
Yeah.
Danielle Catalano
I'm sure I'm sleeping in my sleeping bag.
Brooke Michio
Like, Brook's. Like, I gotta sleep in my sack tonight.
Danielle Catalano
I know. Actually, when I get a spray tan, I have less transfer. But I will say when I have a. When I self tan, like, the transfer to my sheets to whatever, like, it is extreme. It's going everywhere.
Brooke Michio
Oh, really?
Danielle Catalano
I feel like it's less on everything.
Brooke Michio
And. Well, because the girls that we use, they like, powder you up after and they lock it in.
Danielle Catalano
And so that's a pro. I will say, because, you know, I'm over here, like, I can self now. That's a good tip. The hands are. They always get me. The knees and the elbows, too, are tough.
Brooke Michio
Head, shoulders, knees and toes.
Danielle Catalano
Yeah. Anything that's, like, you know, has joints, I feel like that.
Brooke Michio
Yeah.
Danielle Catalano
Yes.
Brooke Michio
Ligaments.
Danielle Catalano
Yeah. Because you want to, like, get it when it's like, extended and not like, it's. You have to think about it.
Brooke Michio
Yeah. This is true. So we'll see how it goes. But how about you? What do you love?
Danielle Catalano
And is it on your face, too?
Brooke Michio
Yeah. They sent also the face tanning oil.
Danielle Catalano
And that under your makeup.
Brooke Michio
Yes. And it's nice because you don't have to fix it with a lotion.
Danielle Catalano
The shade of it, I really.
Brooke Michio
It's like, golden. I don't. I'm, like, really happy with it.
Danielle Catalano
It's giving Florida sun kiss.
Brooke Michio
I love that. I love that. Thank you very much. What are you loving?
Danielle Catalano
I'm loving. I. I baked this morning. I was feeling, you know, like I'm not in the.
Brooke Michio
Brook baked this.
Danielle Catalano
Well, let me.
Brooke Michio
Okay.
Danielle Catalano
I. I baked from a mix.
Brooke Michio
Yeah.
Danielle Catalano
Our friend Donna Hansen came out with this line, Homemade Ish. And it's a cookie mix. Like, I was like, okay. Nothing revolutionary, but, like, it's honestly genius, though.
Brooke Michio
That's a cool name. Homemade. Ish.
Danielle Catalano
Yeah. And it. It's like the cutest packaging. It's a great. I don't know if it's too late for a gift when this goes up, but, like, if you need it. And it's just like the base of a cookie, essentially. So it's like the flour, the sugar, and then she puts edible glitter in there, too, which is really cute. Yeah.
Brooke Michio
Yes.
Danielle Catalano
I added my own cookies and I just tasted. I was like, this is fantastic.
Brooke Michio
I have to say that sounds delicious.
Danielle Catalano
Yes. And it just is, like, so fun. I forgot, like, you know, the vibes and the scent and, like, it creates a whole ambiance, you know?
Brooke Michio
Really? That's so nice and cozy.
Danielle Catalano
Yeah. So I'll link. I'll link it. She. That's so cool. Like, it's her own company, you know, and she's. Yeah, I know.
Brooke Michio
Things she did that I know.
Danielle Catalano
And it's cool that it's like, just the base of it, because you can add whatever your mixings. Do you like, like nuts and cookies?
Brooke Michio
No.
Danielle Catalano
Like, some people like that.
Brooke Michio
And solidarity of you.
Danielle Catalano
Of course. You support. You're like, I have a friend who's allergic.
Brooke Michio
Yeah. So I won't be eating that. No. I also just don't like nuts and things. I think I will have peanut butter. That I am.
Danielle Catalano
Yeah, that's fair.
Brooke Michio
But other than that, I don't want a brownie with walnuts macadamia.
Danielle Catalano
Ew.
Brooke Michio
Do you.
Danielle Catalano
No, absolutely not.
Brooke Michio
It's not that you're allergic to this, but I feel like you just don't like.
Danielle Catalano
Yeah, I just. It's associated with peanuts in a way, and I'm like, yeah. And also, like, I'm enjoying a chewy, delicious, yummy cookie. I don't want to break my teeth on. You know, like, it's a surprise that no one wants, but maybe someone wants it.
Brooke Michio
I know someone love that I will never understand. Like, you said, you're having, like, this.
Danielle Catalano
Gooey cookie, and it's like.
Brooke Michio
And it's like a white chocolate chunk. Like, no, thanks.
Danielle Catalano
I know.
Brooke Michio
Macadamia vibe.
Danielle Catalano
Yeah. I could deal. Like, I like some flavors. Like, I like a mult. Like, that's why I like crumble. So fun.
Brooke Michio
Right?
Danielle Catalano
You know. You know, you can go get the flavors, but not.
Brooke Michio
Are they not free? Because the other day we did our secret Santa. I, like, was gonna get.
Danielle Catalano
They're not. They are very not.
Brooke Michio
That's what I. My Google said.
Danielle Catalano
Yeah. They. They say that they cook it on different pans, but it's like, no. Like, I feel it.
Brooke Michio
So how did you get it? Clarify.
Danielle Catalano
They didn't have any. The few times I've gone, I feel like they didn't happen to have a peanut butter flavor, though.
Brooke Michio
Right. So they wouldn't have it.
Danielle Catalano
But no matter what. Like, in that case, I've risked it a lot of times and assuming that they cook it on different pans because I don't have an airborne allergy. Like, it's really just if it's right next to each other.
Brooke Michio
Yeah. If it's touching.
Danielle Catalano
So if it's like they have a pan of chocolate chip and then they have a pan of, like, something with peanut. Like, hypothetically, they're non touching, but like, when they're cooking the back, maybe someone forgot to wash them. Like, it's like that. That you risk that.
Brooke Michio
Like ice cream shops.
Danielle Catalano
Yes.
Brooke Michio
And get like, the different.
Danielle Catalano
And on the back of, like, packaging, like, it will say, like, there may be a risk, like, trace amounts or something. That's because, like, they're covering themselves for, like, margin of error. Like, if.
Brooke Michio
You know, that's not good for Brook Mitchell, though, with the Red Panic. I feel like you're like, it's not.
Danielle Catalano
But it's on every. It's literally on M M's. Like, you know, because, like, it's on Hershey. Like, everything you'll notice on the back of most labels, like, it says it. And I feel like it depends on the scale of allergy. Some. You know, I know there's more severe allergy people out there. Yeah. I don't know. I've. I've. I've seen some scares lately, though. I'm like, maybe I need to start carrying around. Not with me, but, like, it freaks me out so much. I'm like, maybe I should just be carrying that EpiPen.
Brooke Michio
Well, you always have your Benadryl emergency.
Danielle Catalano
Benadryl. Yeah.
Brooke Michio
Yeah. That's nice.
Danielle Catalano
I can, like, whip into action like someone across the.
Brooke Michio
Russ, would you be able to do that to yourself?
Danielle Catalano
If I was like, throat closing, like.
Brooke Michio
Yeah, I guess so. Yeah.
Danielle Catalano
Or I would be like, hit me like. And I think you. I remember I had, like. I used to have one, and it comes with, like, a trial one that's, like, fake. And it's like, not a real needle, but it's like, simulating what it would be like if you were to use it.
Brooke Michio
Yeah.
Danielle Catalano
And it. And it literally, like, counts you down. Like, you take off the cap and it's like, take, remove, blah, blah, blah. Like, preparing in three, two. Like, like, walks you through it.
Brooke Michio
Oh, my God.
Danielle Catalano
Yeah. If. I hope it's still the same. This was many years ago now.
Brooke Michio
They probably have a QR code with a video. You know what I mean?
Danielle Catalano
Yeah.
Brooke Michio
It used to be like, twist and bop and.
Danielle Catalano
Yeah.
Brooke Michio
We'll tell you. Wow. My face hurts from smiling. We've only been recording for, like.
Danielle Catalano
Oh, no. Wow. We didn't even get into.
Brooke Michio
That's a great problem.
Danielle Catalano
Yeah.
Brooke Michio
We're just laughing and giggly so much.
Danielle Catalano
So we had our New York show this week.
Brooke Michio
Oh, thank you, New York. We love You New York. I was getting messages. I'm sure you too. Like, I was at the show. Like, had so much fun. It was a good time. The whole fam. Was there. Well, actually, no, not sales.
Danielle Catalano
I know. Last minute. He had a. I know. And I told everybody there were girls. There was the cutest girls, and they.
Brooke Michio
Were sure they were ready to dm. Yeah.
Danielle Catalano
So I wanted to wait till we were on air to tell you this.
Brooke Michio
Oh, okay. I was waiting for this.
Danielle Catalano
As I was leaving the theater, I felt like we were Broadway performers where people were, like, stage dooring for us. Did you feel like that?
Brooke Michio
Oh, yes.
Danielle Catalano
People. I was like, oh. And I'm like, you know, you're carrying.
Brooke Michio
Your flowers jacket on.
Danielle Catalano
Oh, no, for me, like, hello, girls.
Brooke Michio
Would you like an autograph? No, I'm kidding. Not actually.
Danielle Catalano
I actually did feel like that. But they were so cute. It was like multiple groups and one group of girls. Well, they were like, oh, your mom told us to DM Sal. Which was the funniest thing.
Brooke Michio
Oh, my God.
Danielle Catalano
They already, like, wordy. But then they were like, your mom told us to keep it up.
Brooke Michio
Yeah, work on it.
Danielle Catalano
And then another group was like, brooke, Brooke, I have to tell you, Freddie bought me a tequila shot. Oh, is going to work at the show?
Brooke Michio
Oh, my gosh.
Danielle Catalano
They didn't tell you? No.
Brooke Michio
You said something to me at the.
Danielle Catalano
After party, like, oh, Fred, did Freddie tell you about the tequila shot or something?
Brooke Michio
I thought you meant something else. Oh, my God, that is so funny. No, he did not tell.
Danielle Catalano
So funny. I wonder if it was multiple people or just the lucky one gal who. And, like, I need to know context. Like, were they at the bar together? And he was like, oh, I'll grab you one. Yeah, he's.
Brooke Michio
Freddie and I are both in our shot era.
Danielle Catalano
Really?
Brooke Michio
Definitely not good.
Danielle Catalano
No, I mean, but that's, like, charming, though. Like, I mean, how lucky. The brother of the star.
Brooke Michio
No, that's awesome. I love that he was being a gentleman, honestly, like, offering to the gal behind him.
Danielle Catalano
Yeah.
Brooke Michio
And if she wanted it, she seemed happy about.
Danielle Catalano
Yeah, okay.
Brooke Michio
I didn't want him to force anything.
Danielle Catalano
It's like, now you take a shot.
Brooke Michio
Yeah. And now you take a shot. Enjoy the show. She was like, no, sure. Oh, that's so cute. Wow. Didn't know that. The funniest part to me was when we were leaving the after party. So after the show, we were, like, looking up bars nearby, and we ended up on the bar. Playwright, Celtic, pub gals in the go. One night only.
Danielle Catalano
It was. We Were like, you know, we just wanted a meeting place for everybody. Turns out that, like, we called the venue before, and we're like, hey, we're gonna be having, you know, some people. I don't even think we gave him a number. Like, really?
Brooke Michio
We didn't. We had no idea.
Danielle Catalano
Like, we'll be having some friends come and hang. They reserved us, like, a whole room.
Brooke Michio
Whole room, they said a section of the bar that's.
Danielle Catalano
So we were like, okay, we'll have a little back section. It'll be tight, but we'll make it work.
Brooke Michio
Yeah. That was awesome. It was a whole room of all of our favorite people.
Danielle Catalano
We were on the roof. It was like the fourth floor. It was like, go up to the fourth floor, like, you know, this group, and we.
Brooke Michio
Yeah, we show up.
Danielle Catalano
It is a big space.
Brooke Michio
There were lots of stairs.
Danielle Catalano
Lots. It was a workout to get up there. It was not. I don't know what I was expecting, but I wasn't expecting that many. We knew everybody, but I wasn't expecting that many people to show up.
Brooke Michio
It felt nice. It was really sweet because we had so many friends and family that came to show that we. We couldn't have everyone in the dressing room. It was already so hectic, like, just with our families and stuff, because the dressing room's so small, so we're like, okay, let's just tell everyone to meet us after. And it was so sweet.
Danielle Catalano
So sweet. Yeah.
Brooke Michio
Why did I bring that up? Oh, because then at the end of the night, I was heading down the stairs, and, like, there was a third.
Danielle Catalano
Floor, too, with, like, a second floor. Like, every. There was a bar essentially on every level.
Brooke Michio
This was giving Nashville, you're so right, you know?
Danielle Catalano
Right. I feel like those stairs are a death trap, though. Like, one wrong, one wrong, one wrong stuff.
Brooke Michio
I kept, like, looking behind me like, we're all good. Like, vibe check, vibe check. We're on the third floor. We just have one more photo. But we were heading down, and these guys. There's, like, just a ton of guys on the third floor. And I had, like, my sparkly dress with feathers on, and they were like, is it your birthday? And I was like, no, no. And then my friends behind me were like, no, no. She just did a live show. Her and her co host gals on the go. And this guy goes, I know Brooke Michio went to her high school. And they're like.
Danielle Catalano
And I just kept walking. I was like.
Brooke Michio
My friends were talking. I'm like, yeah. And he was like, wait, is she here? And all this stuff.
Danielle Catalano
I need to know who was. Because I. I was like a few steps in front of you. I feel like we like the same. But I totally did not.
Brooke Michio
I don' why didn't he say anything to you? I was like. Right. Maybe they weren't by the. Because they were like in the doorway. Maybe they were about.
Danielle Catalano
They were trying to lure people in, though.
Brooke Michio
Yeah.
Danielle Catalano
It was like a men's like, it was like, they're like end of the year party.
Brooke Michio
Yeah.
Danielle Catalano
And they were like, like, they were like, you guys want to like trying to learn my friends. And we're like, we're good. Good.
Brooke Michio
We're signing off for the night, boys.
Danielle Catalano
Yeah.
Brooke Michio
No, the show is seriously so amazing. So with that being said, we have so many more show. We have 10 more shows to go and we'd love to see you guys there. So we'll have tickets down below, but we're starting in California in a few weeks. We are.
Danielle Catalano
Thank gosh. The gals are somewhere sunny to start because we know it's. It's. I already can't wait. My bones. Yeah, I know.
Brooke Michio
I'm excited to see our California gal pals.
Danielle Catalano
It's so fun. We also may or may not have a special announcement coming for that show, so follow us on Instagram because we'll probably announce it over the break.
Brooke Michio
Yeah, I would say so.
Danielle Catalano
Yeah.
Brooke Michio
I think it's going to be a really good time.
Danielle Catalano

Brooke Michio
But yeah, so we did the live show.
Danielle Catalano
Live show you had. Oh, and then. Oh, my God, Danielle.
Brooke Michio
Oh, my God, Danielle.
Danielle Catalano
I'll have the craziest weekend, you guys. Actually, I don't even know how it's possible because I feel like this is so off brand for you to operate on this few hours of.
Brooke Michio
No, I like sleep. Yeah, I definitely like my sleep.
Danielle Catalano
Not even just sleep, but like, I feel like you are go, go, go. But like, there's rest built in and there's like moments of, you know, ess breathing.
Brooke Michio
Yes, you know me so well. Meditation. No. No meditation for any. No.
Danielle Catalano
Yeah.
Brooke Michio
I got this opportunity, like, literally a few days before the live show. T Mobile was like, hey, do you want to go to the SEC championship to see the Georgia Bulldogs play? And I'm like, obviously, yes, 100%. Like, well, not obviously. I even told the T Mobile girls. I was like, I had to think about it for a second because we had the show on Friday night and then the next morning I would have to fly out in the first flight because it was like a 430 flight. And like, I wanted to go so bad. Also, my family was in town staying with me. So I called my parents and I told them and they literally were like, go, we will be fine. And I was like, oh, that was like the one Thing that I was worried about because I knew it wouldn't affect the show at all, but it would just affect the next morning. Because normally it's like, you know, I knew we were at the after party. We were gone and everything.
Danielle Catalano
And you stayed at that app. I mean, you. You closed out the after party. Like you were there till one. Like.
Brooke Michio
Yeah. Whenever we all left. Yeah.
Danielle Catalano
Bar closed at like what, 12:30 maybe.
Brooke Michio
They turned the lights on and they're like, you guys need to.
Danielle Catalano
Yeah, they kicked us out essentially.
Brooke Michio
But yeah. No, I. Because it was just everyone was there. So fun. But it was so funny. Every time I see someone, they'd be like, why are you still here? Go home. Like, because you're all still here.
Danielle Catalano
Like, I'm doing the math in my head though, of like, oh, my gosh. And Danielle, you need to be up in three hours.
Brooke Michio
Yeah.
Danielle Catalano
How?
Brooke Michio
I took a nap. So I got home, I showered and I got into bed and I slept for about an hour and a half. And then my hatch alarm went off at 3:30. I had to get up and wash my hair so that I've never done this. But I did hire glam for game day, which was the. The best thing I ever did. We have to. We are using this glam team for Atlanta. We have to use the hair guy too. He's amazing. It was the best vibes. It landed. Ryan came with me, which was so fun and it was hit the ground running. It was the best day though, because I got to spend it with Fibula. I'm obsessed with this man. He's hysterical.
Danielle Catalano
You get the hype. You're three years late. I was three years ago around this time. Like, look, I met.
Brooke Michio
Yes. You spent a whole day with him.
Danielle Catalano
Yeah, I mean, it was like the full day, I guess, but it was like in a crowded setting. You got to know him more one on one, which I am jealous.
Brooke Michio
No, it was so funny. So I'm like having this call with T Mobile. I was like, okay, cool. Like, is it just me going with to represent Georgia? And they were like, okay, we're actually gonna have one person from Texas too. And I was like, oh, who? And they said Fibula. And I was like, oh, my God, just me and Fibula all day. This can be so fun. So he brought his friend, I brought Ryan. And it was literally just the four of us and the awesome girls that worked with T Mobile. It was the best day. And I was a little nervous because, like, you know, we can get a little competitive. And I didn't Know what Connor's vibes were? And he's definitely like a huge Texas fan. But, like, right before we went into the game, they basically had me and Ryan sit with one of the gals, and then Connor and his friend and one of the other gals sat with him.
Danielle Catalano
So they separated us intentionally.
Brooke Michio
And I feel like intentionally.
Danielle Catalano
Were you in a Georgia section?
Brooke Michio
The Brooke. The whole stadium was Georgia. It was incredible. It was probably 3/4 Georgia because it's in Atlanta. So I do, you know, feel bad for Texas in that way, but also like, go Hogs.
Danielle Catalano
Yeah.
Brooke Michio
Like, the Georgia Bulldogs know that stadium so well because of all the SEC championships, like, every year. Every year. Or like, we play one game there, like, there's always something, so we're definitely lucky to have that. But. Oh. So right before the game, Connor was like, okay, so I'll meet up at halftime. And I was like, yeah, hopefully we're in a good mood. And he was like, what do you mean? And I was like, hopefully we're in a good mood. And he was like, what do you mean? I was like, if we're losing, I'm not going to be happy. And he was like, wait, really? So I was like, okay. So he was like, I am just so. Texas football hasn't been this good in so long. I'm just happy. Yeah, he was happy.
Danielle Catalano
I feel like he's like, I hope both teams have fun.
Brooke Michio
Yes.
Danielle Catalano
And you and Ryan are like, like.
Brooke Michio
If the Bulldogs don't win, will not be. No, but it was great. So obviously the Georgia Bulldogs ended up going winning, and then it's an exciting game to watch.
Danielle Catalano
I mean, were you like, like, the energy, Was it there?
Brooke Michio
It was there, Brooke. It was there, locked in.
Danielle Catalano
And you. Wow, what a time.
Brooke Michio
And then we went back to the hotel and we all went out for a little bit, which was really fun.
Danielle Catalano
So fun.
Brooke Michio
And I just like, for. I mean, I. I didn't know. It's not like, I forgot. I didn't know. Like. Like, so many people would just go up to Connor, like, girls just like.
Danielle Catalano
And what, like, what piece of work do they reference of his? Like, are they like, oh, my God, are you. I have shoes. I have had. I have purse or like, whatever.
Brooke Michio
Some of them, I don't know, I couldn't hear it because, like, I didn't want to, like, be up in their business, but I would hear them be like, can you say blah, blah. So maybe it was, I have yours. A lot of them were just like, let's take a selfie or Like, Connor, I love or fib you.
Danielle Catalano
I love you.
Brooke Michio
And like, keep walking.
Danielle Catalano
Like, that's cool.
Brooke Michio
He has so many people that love him, and I understand why he makes everyone feel like you're his best friend. Like, that's how I feel.
Danielle Catalano
Like, you came back and you're like, we're so close.
Brooke Michio
I want to feel like he's my bestie.
Danielle Catalano
He's been one. Dating.
Brooke Michio
Yeah. I called him buddy. And he was like, never call me that again. I was like, why? And he was like, I just don't like when people call me buddy. Like, it's like, no.
Danielle Catalano
Like, it is kind of. Well, I could understand it like an older gentleman, like, calling, like, Like. But, like. And it could be kind of. Yeah.
Brooke Michio
And that's what I said to him. And he was like, no, but I could also.
Danielle Catalano
You mean it as a friend because we got each other all body, like.
Brooke Michio
Yeah. And he. I think he more so meant. Not that, like, him and I were anything, because I literally have a boyfriend, but I think he means, like, normally he doesn't like, when girls call him that, like, friend zone. So it was triggering to him. I don't really know. I don't know.
Danielle Catalano
What was Buddy, don't call.
Brooke Michio
Yeah, he was like, don't call me buddy. And Ryan was like, why? Like, use. Like, because Ryan will be like, oh, my buddies. And Connor was like, it's different. I don't know.
Danielle Catalano
So is Ryan allowed to. But you're not.
Brooke Michio
Yeah, like, Ryan. Connor said that Ryan could call him buddy.
Danielle Catalano
Okay, but.
Brooke Michio
And Ryan and Fibula, or. Yeah, Ryan and Fibula being besties. Like, at the end of the night was the funniest thing.
Danielle Catalano
Like, the stories. But I would. Like, it made sense, though.
Brooke Michio
It totally makes sense.
Danielle Catalano
Totally. Like, I'm watching them. Like. Like, things make sense.
Brooke Michio
No, like, too. Like, it was perfect and we had the best time, and I'm so grateful that I got to experience that. Like, it was a whirlwind, though. Like, literally on an hour and a half of sleep, I just kept drinking caffeine, which was like, kind of.
Danielle Catalano
You were having caffeine.
Brooke Michio
Having caffeine. And like, Coca Cola.
Danielle Catalano
Coca Cola. Danielle, I didn't even know you've ever drank Coca Cola.
Brooke Michio
Would you not know this about me? Oh, my God, Brooke. I had a Coca Cola today before I came here.
Danielle Catalano
You're lying.
Brooke Michio
I.
Danielle Catalano
This is. No, this is not a prank. This is not a prank. No, I feel like this.
Brooke Michio
You watch my vlogmas tonight or tomorrow morning, and you'll see I literally drink No, I. I keep a stash of Coke. Coca Cola. I don't know. That sounds like, weird. Like, stash.
Danielle Catalano
Yeah.
Brooke Michio
In my fridge at all times. Because for some reason, like, if I need a sense of energy, Coca Cola does it for me. Like, coffee makes me jittery, but Coke, like, gives me this, like. But not Diet Coke because I don't drink it often. So I'm like. Let me just.
Danielle Catalano
I feel like I remember you saying the mini cans. And you've told me.
Brooke Michio
Yeah.
Danielle Catalano
Thing about this. But I did.
Brooke Michio
But I don't really talk about it, I guess so.
Danielle Catalano
I. I didn't realize it was like, part of the normal drink rotation.
Brooke Michio
It's not. And when my dad visited and he saw all those, I was like, no, the reason you see so many is because I don't have them often. I just buy, like, the 12 pack, you know, every few months just to, like, have.
Danielle Catalano
Well, that's pretty crazy. That's Danielle Catalan lore.
Brooke Michio
Like, it's.
Danielle Catalano
Yeah.
Brooke Michio
I think because it's sparkling. I like it.
Danielle Catalano
I get it. I get it.
Brooke Michio
Yeah. Anyway, so that was really fun, so thank you for asking.
Danielle Catalano
So you're. Danielle's yipped up on her. Cool.
Brooke Michio
I think I am a little yipped up.
Danielle Catalano
Oh, today you are too, I guess. Maybe. Maybe because you.
Brooke Michio
Oh. But that day, yeah, I was definitely, definitely yipped up. And then Ryan and I were both like, no, we're going to bed at 9:00. And then we won.
Danielle Catalano
And it's high. I get it. You're also on adrenaline. But you were, like, working during, like, I feel like you were like, you had to get your deliverables.
Brooke Michio
Oh, yeah. I wasn't drinking, Like, I did not drink Coca Cola.
Danielle Catalano
Being crazy.
Brooke Michio
Being crazy. No, we had, like, a photo shoot. We had disposable photos we were taking. There was a Dan and Shay concert. It was so cool. I felt so cool. Like, it was cool.
Danielle Catalano
Was Ryan your photographer?
Brooke Michio
Yep, Ryan was my. He was my videographer. He did, like, iPhone video. But then they had a photographer, so.
Danielle Catalano
Oh, they provided.
Brooke Michio
They provided. I didn't realize that. So I, like. It was. It was awesome. And they. It just was perfect. And I felt like getting. And like, how we got to go to the Alabama game with Disney. Like, I just feel so grateful that, like, those things collide.
Danielle Catalano
I know. I said to Danielle, I'm like, what about that? The next one. What is it? The sugar bowl? Is that what it is?
Brooke Michio
The sugar.
Danielle Catalano
The sugar bowl, baby.
Brooke Michio
No, it's so true. I was telling you.
Danielle Catalano
Who's Gonna be the next. Next sponsor is the real question. We've got Disney T Mobile. Let me think who we got?
Brooke Michio
Who.
Danielle Catalano
Who wants to take that?
Brooke Michio
Oh, yeah, Spotify. I went to Athens for.
Danielle Catalano
Yeah. I'm trying to think. What else. What else could we give you this year?
Brooke Michio
I don't know, but it's gonna be another, like, low sleep thing because I decided last minute to, like, not, like, have this huge party, but to have people over for New Year's if people don't have plans. And I was telling you about it, and you were like, what are you gonna do now that Georgia won? I'm like, no, it's okay. The game is on New Year's Day, thank God. But still, it might be a situation where, if given the opportunity, Ryan and I already decided we would wake up and fly New Orleans. I mean, why not? Because I don't know if we'll go to the national championship. Like, I just. It's too good to be true. Like, I'm worried Georgia's gonna become the new Alabama, where they hate us because we keep winning.
Danielle Catalano
Yeah, yeah, yeah. So I'm trying to think of, like, what it could, like, you know. Oh, thank you so much for sending me to the Sugar Bowl Tums.
Brooke Michio
Like, I'm trying to get the sponsors. You know how there's sponsors.
Danielle Catalano
Yeah, yeah. Coca Cola.
Brooke Michio
I mean, Coca Cola. I mean, I'll drink. You love that. My biggest supporter, Brooke, of course. But, yeah, we'd.
Danielle Catalano
So very exciting.
Brooke Michio
What did you do last? You probably just chill.
Danielle Catalano
I legit, like, was laying in bed. Like, I was, like, doing my laundry and, like, laying in bed, and I was like. And every time I would, like, pause and be like, danielle is still going, like, legend has it.
Brooke Michio
No, that was ridiculous.
Danielle Catalano
And I was like, I'm so tired. Like, my aura sleep was insane.
Brooke Michio
I can't.
Danielle Catalano
Not even that first night. Like, I didn't really sleep a lot. Like, the night because we went to bed kind of late after the show. And, you know, it is a lot of adrenaline.
Brooke Michio
Yeah.
Danielle Catalano
Like, you're, like, reflecting whatever. You know, I'm, like, keeping that up, like. And then. And then. What do you think about this part? You know, he's like, I. I don't know. I don't know.
Brooke Michio
No, I know. Can we debrief that? Like.
Danielle Catalano
Yeah. But the night after that, I slept incredibly, I would say. And I've just been getting in the Holly Dolly spirit. I mean, I've been doing my little baking, a little decorating. Yeah. I feel like I've been trying to embrace it and getting cozy and definitely cold out.
Brooke Michio
Now it's there. Maybe it's cold outside. Are you going to go see the tree?
Danielle Catalano
No. I don't have it in my agenda.
Brooke Michio
You don't want to lay eyes on it? I feel like every year I need to lay eyes on it.
Danielle Catalano
I went when it was, like, still, like, boarded up. Like.
Brooke Michio
All right. You said eyes on tree.
Danielle Catalano
Yeah. And maybe I'll go with some. I don't really have plans to go, like, uptown to do all the. I'm doing, like, Christmasy things.
Brooke Michio
Oh, of course.
Danielle Catalano
Not necessarily. No.
Brooke Michio
I don't want to shame you, but, Brooke, I think you need to go.
Danielle Catalano
Not even gonna go see your tree.
Brooke Michio
Like, you don't want to walk down for that stuff. So busy and crazy.
Danielle Catalano
No. And fee. And, like, be clutching my purse, like, fearing that someone's gonna, like, launch into it even though it's, like, on.
Brooke Michio
Yeah. No idea. Did you hear, though, about Nest fragrances?
Danielle Catalano
No.
Brooke Michio
What they're doing?
Danielle Catalano
No. What are they doing?
Brooke Michio
Let me tell you. And I have to experience this for myself. Apparently, walking down 5th Ave, like, in the main area, they have diffusers pushing out this. The Christmas tree scent.
Danielle Catalano
Oh, wow.
Brooke Michio
That's pretty cool.
Danielle Catalano
That's so your vibe. Like, you know, the diffusers and the scent and the. Yeah, you want it. You're gonna go all the way up to Midtown district. Well, you have, like, a friends coming to town.
Brooke Michio
Yeah. So it's. I have to say, it's definitely an excuse.
Danielle Catalano
That's kind of me. Next weekend. I have some friends. They're not, like, staying with me, but, like, in town. And we're planning. Ben has a big test next week, so we're gonna. When this goes up, so we're gonna be.
Brooke Michio
Yeah.
Danielle Catalano
You know, that will be, like, my celebration, I feel like.
Brooke Michio
Definitely.
Danielle Catalano
Of course.
Brooke Michio
Or you could go to Brooklyn Botanical.
Danielle Catalano
I did want to go do, like. Yeah, the stroll.
Brooke Michio
Nice.
Danielle Catalano
And I feel like this is the most prepared I've been with my Christmas presents literally ever.
Brooke Michio
Wow. I am so opposite. That's amazing. You did a lot of Black Friday show.
Danielle Catalano
A ton. A ton. And I feel really settled about my gifts for. For most family members, I feel like I don't really have, like, a ton. We don't really do, like, it's not like every uncle and every aunt has to get a gift. Like, it's like, really just like, my.
Brooke Michio
The make Core four. That's what my family. We call it Decor four.
Danielle Catalano
It's kind of similar to that for me, too. Like, I Think a lot of my family members, like, they. They give to, like. It's such a Italian thing. You give it to your godmother and your godfather.
Brooke Michio
Oh.
Danielle Catalano
Funniest thing, though, is that. That's, like, a Catholic thing. Do you have a God?
Brooke Michio
I do. Yeah.
Danielle Catalano
You do.
Brooke Michio
My godmother is my aunt, though, like, and Debbie. Yeah.
Danielle Catalano
Yeah. Mine's my aunt Marie, so. And. Oh, yeah.
Brooke Michio
I finally got to meet her. Yes.
Danielle Catalano
Yeah. Best. Because it's, like, a nominated term, but it's also, like, supposed to be, like, if they, like, hit the can, like. Right. Like your parents. Yeah.
Brooke Michio
Where are we going with this? Yes.
Danielle Catalano
But, yeah, no, you're right. So who's your godfather? You don't have.
Brooke Michio
I don't have a godfather.
Danielle Catalano
Wow.
Brooke Michio
Oh, my God. I don't have a godfather.
Danielle Catalano
I mean, maybe you could just have one. I guess. There's no rules.
Brooke Michio
Who's your godfather?
Danielle Catalano
Uncle Rob, which is the funniest thing, because, like, it's like, a Catholic, like, tradition, and I just never knew that. Or, like.
Brooke Michio
Yeah, whatever it is. Yeah.
Danielle Catalano
Is it Catholic? Christian? I don't really think it might be.
Brooke Michio
Catholic because it was, like, a Catholic ceremony. Like, when you get. Did you get baptized?
Danielle Catalano
No, that's the other thing.
Brooke Michio
When I got baptized, it was, like, my aunt that, like, did it. I think I have questions. I need to ask if I have a God.
Danielle Catalano
No. Anyway, they did it as, like, more of, like, a symbolic situation. But anyway, so my Uncle Rob is literally from my mom's side of the family. He's literally Jewish, and he's my godfather. It's the funniest thing. And I asked.
Brooke Michio
Oh, that is funny.
Danielle Catalano
Know, when Ben and I first started dating, I asked him. I was like, oh, like, who are your godparents?
Brooke Michio
Oh, because you just thought.
Danielle Catalano
I thought everybody had godparents. I truly. I thought that it was, like, for the bit. I didn't realize.
Brooke Michio
Like, I have no idea.
Danielle Catalano
Yeah, I guess.
Brooke Michio
So I just asked my family.
Danielle Catalano
I feel like that's something, like, not to be dark. Like, you would, like, put it, like. It doesn't need to be, like, godparents, but it could be, like, in your will or something.
Brooke Michio
Yeah. Like, there's definitely, like, a Johnny.
Danielle Catalano
The kids, like, I don't know.
Brooke Michio
Well, there's that movie with Katherine Heigel and Josh Jel. My celebrity crush, where they're basically, like, both parents die, and they're in some sort of will and writing that, though they want those two people to take care of their child.
Danielle Catalano
Yeah.
Brooke Michio
It's great movie why am I seen that?
Danielle Catalano
And I would like to.
Brooke Michio
Plan B. And I would like to not. Plan B.
Danielle Catalano
Plan B. Jesus Christ. Oh, my God. Yeah. Oh, my God. That's dark.
Brooke Michio
Like plan A or something. I don't know.
Danielle Catalano
It can't be called plan B. That's crazy.
Brooke Michio
I have no idea. No, that's definitely not the name, the name of the movie, but.
Danielle Catalano
Wow. Okay.
Brooke Michio
Yeah.
Danielle Catalano
That's really, really funny. Yeah.
Brooke Michio
So first thing, life as we know it. Totally not plan B related at all.
Danielle Catalano
Anyways, anywho. So that's. That's what we do. So we don't give a lot of. I agree. It's not like every single person gets a gift. Like, it's a little bit same. It's like, yeah, parents, brother.
Brooke Michio
Yeah, same. Like, I get stuff from my aunt and then my core four and then my grandpa kind of, but it's like from the family. Do you ever do gifts? It's like, oh, your mom gets it. It's like it's from all of us.
Danielle Catalano
I love when that happens.
Brooke Michio
I love it too.
Danielle Catalano
I'm starting to get to that age where, you know, it doesn't really happen much anymore. Like if it's where it used to be, like when I was in college and stuff and I had to get, you know, someone's like, oh, I know someone's gift. Like, my mom would be like, I took care of it for you.
Brooke Michio
Oh, yeah, that doesn't happen.
Danielle Catalano
I got the card or like, whatever and it's like now I'm at the age for. That doesn't.
Brooke Michio
You're on your own.
Danielle Catalano
No.
Brooke Michio
Yo, yo.
Danielle Catalano
Yeah.
Brooke Michio

But we do like group gifts for like now we're. Well now I'm in like my baby shower era. Like I have another cousin's baby shower coming up and like that. That they're just like we grouped you in with us. Yes, I will accept that.
Brooke Michio
Thank you. I will pay money towards it.
Danielle Catalano
Yeah. Yes. No worries. Sometimes I don't even offer. Honestly. I'm like, you got this one. I know.
Brooke Michio
Yeah, you do. I'm sure you got that vase like it's really fun.
Danielle Catalano
You get me back one day.
Brooke Michio
Are you doing any like gift exchanges with. Doesn't your family do something or. No. Maybe someone else.
Danielle Catalano
We do. Do you like a white elephant. But the year is different because I have two of my cousins are pregnant. One is due, I think like honored the day before Christmas. So like she might not be an intent.
Brooke Michio
Oh yeah. For numbers.
Danielle Catalano
The numbers. I don't know, like White Elephant. You need some numbers.
Brooke Michio
No, I don't. I ask because have one either and I'd love to do one. I'm.
Danielle Catalano
I'm sorry.
Brooke Michio
I feel so fun. Did you see the one that a ton of girls in LA did, the high stakes White Elephant, by chance?
Danielle Catalano
I did. I did.
Brooke Michio
See, that is fun.
Danielle Catalano
I would be trading.
Brooke Michio
I would be trading. Maybe that's what we should do next. So we did a Secret Santa with Margo Ashri and Katie Bilotti and then us. And we use elfster.com, obviously. Such a great one. And you can put wish lists on there. In the past few years, I feel like we've used those wish lists. And Brooke had me, and past two.
Danielle Catalano
Years I've had you.
Brooke Michio
I just realized that, like, the day after.
Danielle Catalano
I know. Once I got you again, I was like, can I request. I know now we're all gonna. But we've done it for so many years that, like, we're gonna start to repeat. This was the.
Brooke Michio
Yeah, we've done.
Danielle Catalano
We did it.
Brooke Michio
I've had that too, because I had you.
Danielle Catalano
Yeah.
Brooke Michio
Yeah. So who have you not had? Katie or Margaret, Maybe both. Who knows? It's hard to think, think.
Danielle Catalano
Yeah. I'm like, which should I have? I. I definitely had one of them. I think I had Katie, so maybe I didn't. Yeah, Margot.
Brooke Michio
Maybe that's what it was. Yeah. And. But Margot was like, next year, can we just do, like, themes like Margo's like, I want a gift that's gonna make me cry. Like. And so it makes it more of like a fun surprise.
Danielle Catalano
For sure.
Brooke Michio
Which is fun.
Danielle Catalano
Yeah. Because Danielle was giving direct links, so I didn't really have much room for flexibility or creativity because she wanted the rothies. She's like, rothy's rothy. Well, my rothies did you see then Clara felt comfortable explaining accepting the fact that she has rothy. I did.
Brooke Michio
I was like, wow.
Danielle Catalano
I think it's something that not everybody.
Brooke Michio
No, it's. No, it's something that all of a sudden, it's because I tried my friends on and I was like, this is like some great arch support. Yeah, no, I know. And I definitely, like, I'm joking.
Danielle Catalano
I mean, it's completely acceptable. Yeah, please. I'm in my dirty outdoor Uggs right now. I'm in. No, man. My bare ankles are showing with these. Please. I'm in no position to judge.
Brooke Michio
Oh, no, no, no, no. It.
Danielle Catalano
I. I like these, though. What are the. These are like socks.
Brooke Michio
Yeah. These are not Roth.
Danielle Catalano
I can tell. Yeah, yeah.
Brooke Michio
They're little Gucci slides, and I'm really happy with them. And someone in my building complimented them on me. And I feel like when you're in your building, like, in your apartment, you're in the elevator with people, and it's just kind of silent.
Danielle Catalano
Always. Always.
Brooke Michio
And this guy was like, nice shoes. And then walked out. I was like, yeah, like, let's go.
Danielle Catalano
That's it.
Brooke Michio
That's it. Literally. Nice shoes.
Danielle Catalano
Wait, what's your name?
Brooke Michio
Yeah.
Danielle Catalano
What floor do you live on? No, I know.
Brooke Michio
I'm, like, dying to, like, get to know these people in my building. I'm also just. Yeah. Trying to figure out the vibes of, like. Like, we have lots of doorman to tip. I'm, like, trying to make friends there. I'm like, what are you doing?
Danielle Catalano
Like, oh, my gosh. People are. I'm in this, like, big group chat for the building, and people are, like, asking, like, what are the customary amounts? People are like, you should, like. Like, it is getting intense. Like, so.
Brooke Michio
Okay, so I want that.
Danielle Catalano
No, but they're not. They won't say it. Private message me if I want to know what I cost.
Brooke Michio
What the pm.
Danielle Catalano
Yeah. Because they don't want to, like, say it and get shamed. I think in the big chat. Yeah, we, like, I. It is, but we need to all.
Brooke Michio
Discuss so no one's lowballing here.
Danielle Catalano
And then someone was, like, talking about, like, a community tip pool. Like, large amount. Like, you know.
Brooke Michio
Yeah.
Danielle Catalano
They're like, oh, this would make it a little easier so we don't each have to get 40 envelopes or something. Like, ridiculous.
Brooke Michio
Yeah.
Danielle Catalano
And they were like. No, they appreciate a handwritten, thoughtful card. Like, it's like, you know, it's like the senior members of the building, the ones that are like, I've been here for three years. Like, the building's, like, new. Like.
Brooke Michio
Yeah. And your building's, like, a little bit bigger, too. So, like, there's so many employees to.
Danielle Catalano
But, yeah, I know.
Brooke Michio
Yeah, it's. I need to start getting that together soon.
Danielle Catalano
Yeah, that's my. That's my project for next week, too.
Brooke Michio
Did they put up, like, holiday decor in your lobby?
Danielle Catalano
Oh, yeah, we did a toy drive. I. I donated a lot of my toys.
Brooke Michio
That's really.
Danielle Catalano
Yes, I've. I had some Legos that I donated.
Brooke Michio
Oh, that's good. Love a toy drive.
Danielle Catalano
Some new, like, unopened ones. Yeah, I know. It was really sweet. And it was, like, under the tree. It was so festive because.
Brooke Michio
Oh, they had to put it under the Tree?
Danielle Catalano
Yeah.
Brooke Michio
Oh, my God.
Danielle Catalano
I suggest that drop it off, like, by the 12th, under the tre unwrapped and, like, we'll take care of it. I was like, oh, my God.
Brooke Michio
That's really cool. They're just changing lives.
Danielle Catalano
I know. So sweet. Love. A toy drive. Did you ever do, like, what was it?
Brooke Michio
Toys for Tots?
Danielle Catalano
Operation Christmas Child? I did that. I feel like that's another religious affiliate. I feel like I did it, which, like, I don't know why.
Brooke Michio
I got, like, Brooks going to shirts.
Danielle Catalano
No, but I remember, like, you make. I feel like I did almost, like, through Girl Scouts maybe through.
Brooke Michio
Maybe it was a Girl Scouts thing.
Danielle Catalano
And you, like, make a box and you, like, you know, do it custom. They give you, like, a good amount of information, I feel like, on who you have, like, their name.
Brooke Michio
We did something like that, but it was. Or maybe it was called that, but I don't remember that name. And they. And sometimes they give you, like, their name, who they are, what they like. And then I would go with my mom and we go shopping.
Danielle Catalano
Yeah. It's cute. It's kind of like the angel tree. Like, all that sort of stuff, I.
Brooke Michio
Feel like, is like.
Danielle Catalano
Like. Yeah, with the. Yeah. Cutesy, like, DIY type stuff. Yeah.
Brooke Michio
Yeah. It's a nice time to give back during the holiday season. For sure.
Danielle Catalano
It is.
Brooke Michio
Can I say something?
Danielle Catalano
Yeah.
Brooke Michio
I think my eyesight's going really. Yeah, Like, I'm, like, looking at, like, recently I've noticed, like, I have to squint. And my dad saw me doing it the other day, and he's like, do you need to go to the eye doctor? And I was like, I gotta just start eating more carrots. Like, I need to eat more.
Danielle Catalano
Do you think that will actually, like, really make a difference?
Brooke Michio
No, not actually. But, like, I always used to say I eat so many carrots. That's why I never needed glasses. But now carrots have, like, E. Coli. So now I'm scared to buy carrots. It's. Yeah, like, just, like, from afar, like, certain things. I feel like. Like I can read all these signs right here. Like, 20, 21 official honor. Like, I can read that, but then, like, sometimes I can't.
Danielle Catalano
So I think that that's normal with. I could be wrong, but I feel like that's normal with aging. Like, I feel like.
Brooke Michio
No, of course.
Danielle Catalano
Starts to, like. So your distance.
Brooke Michio
You're saying it's distance?
Danielle Catalano
Yeah.
Brooke Michio
It's not up close or anything, but I'm like, do I. But it's not something where I'D want to go and. But you've always wanted glasses. I have always wanted. Wanted glasses. But, like, now that it's like, I.
Danielle Catalano
Don'T know, you become, like, reliant on it.
Brooke Michio
You had something you want. We were talking. Okay, let's talk about something.
Danielle Catalano
Yeah.
Brooke Michio
Podcast, video.
Danielle Catalano
No matter what we do, guys, it you get your ass in here. Yeah. Because you're not gonna look good either. I'm gonna be so for real. Like, no one looks good in this lighting.
Brooke Michio
No one looks good for some. I love this lighting so much. This is. We're in our favorite studio we've ever recorded in.
Danielle Catalano
Truly.
Brooke Michio
But for some reason, like, no matter what I do, I mean, I've. I've tried to have a pillow behind me now. I sit up straight. My under eye bags look ginormous. And I feel like in person. They don't.
Danielle Catalano
They absolutely do not. It has to do with.
Brooke Michio
Same with you.
Danielle Catalano
Lightings. No. Danielle. I went on a spiral the other day because it was something along the lines of, like, I feel like it was not even one comment, but I started, like, zooming in. I was like. I got all my under eye filler dissolved, like, a while ago.
Brooke Michio
Yes. But I feel like I. Yeah.
Danielle Catalano
Over the course of this year, I literally. I started in, like, February getting it dissolved.
Brooke Michio
Yes.
Danielle Catalano
And then, like, I felt like it wasn't all gone.
Brooke Michio
Remember?
Danielle Catalano
Like it was a whole thing.
Brooke Michio
Yeah. And then you went and did more.
Danielle Catalano
Yeah.
Brooke Michio
Like, take it all out.
Danielle Catalano
This time it really was all out.
Brooke Michio
Yeah.
Danielle Catalano
So now I don't even have that as an excuse. Because for me, it's not the under eye bag. It's like, lower. And I started smiling. I'm trying to think what led to it, but I was googling then, like, below under eye, like, bag, essentially.
Brooke Michio
Whole thing.
Danielle Catalano
Malar bags, they're also called. Because I couldn't think of the name of this.
Brooke Michio
I got a malar bag.
Danielle Catalano
It's a. It's a malarback. I literally have right here. Malarbags, also known as festoons. That's what they're called. Everybody has them. It's just some are more pronounced. Doesn't have anything to do with, like, if you've had Phil. Like, it has nothing. It's just. It's partially genetic. It's partially environmental. Like, it's everything environment. Because then now you know what it was. We did our event at Pickle.
Brooke Michio
Okay.
Danielle Catalano
And I was posting pictures and yeah. I was like, oh, my God, I look, like, wrecked. Like, Truly. I don't know what happened to Me there.
Brooke Michio
That's me.
Danielle Catalano
The lighting. I think it was just the light.
Brooke Michio
It's like showing shadows. Because looking at you, I don't notice what you're talking about. But I know for me, when I'm looking at clips of me on the podcast, there's some, like, my under. Eye bags pop out of nowhere. So maybe that's what's happening for you with your students. Or it's.
Danielle Catalano
They're like, a little bit lower and it's like, oh, seriously? And it's like a pouch of, like, something. So then I started, like, going on, like, a whole, like, you know, deep dive into this. Turns out it's like, the hardest thing to fix.
Brooke Michio
I was gonna say. Then you're like, okay, how can I remove it?
Danielle Catalano
And it's like.
Brooke Michio
Like, I'll go under.
Danielle Catalano
Literally. Like, hit me, hit me. Literally. It was like, okay, the best way to fix it is a mini facelift. I was like, okay, no, no. Like, not.
Brooke Michio
Not at 27. Oh, no.
Danielle Catalano
Like a mid. Like, mid facelift or something. Okay. There's not many ways to. It's no quick fix. There's no. No. And apparently this is now. This is me being a little up. I'm going to be honest. Like, I. I look at everybody's face. I'm like, you have malar bags. You. But everyone has. You get a. Everybody has. Yeah, true. But I'm like, why did mine in certain light? I guess it really is just. And that's why I think some celebrities, like, you know, it's the whole big thing. Like, look at how celebrities really look. And it's like, yeah, they just are posting the best pictures of themselves and the best lighting and the best, you know, everything. So then when you see 100 and I. I get it. I mean, I don't, because we release these clips, but.
Brooke Michio
No, I get. I mean, you and I both put ourselves on the Internet all the time. No makeup, no nothing. Like. And. But then people were commenting, like, Danielle looks nothing like her vlogs. I'm like, all right, well, I don't know what to tell you. I'm not fine tuning my vlog here. Like, I'm not nipping and tucking. Like, it's.
Danielle Catalano
No, you're like, come see me in person. Yeah, let's chat who I am.
Brooke Michio
Yeah. I don't know why I look like a literal Goblin on YouTube. I don't know. But I do.
Danielle Catalano
Sometimes I actually can't look that Daniel knows. I can't even look at the clips. Like, she's like, do you like, the clips this week, I'm like, I'm just trusting that they're good because if I look at them, I'll spiral and the festoons will grow. No joking.
Brooke Michio
Your vestoons are showing tonight, bro.
Danielle Catalano
No, I'm like, can I gouache on my way out of festoons? No, I can't, can I? They're with me forever. Yeah.
Brooke Michio
No, I. I mean, we all have them. Like you said.
Danielle Catalano
There's just like, something, like, it's. It'd be like that. You know, it be like that. And, you know, you try. Try being an influence.
Brooke Michio
Yeah, you. You try.
Danielle Catalano
No, it's serious. We see each other, ourselves in, like, such. I feel like, extreme HD sometimes.
Brooke Michio
Yeah.
Danielle Catalano
Like, you.
Brooke Michio
You were really. I texted you in a spiral. I think you were literally at Disney World. I'm like, brooke, I'm spiraling. Like, everyone says I look like. And you're like, danielle, like, obviously you're going to post your favorite photos of yourself, and that's normal. Like, we. We record for an hour. How are we to be perfect? I'm, like, literally sitting here recording, like, chin out, Danielle. Like, you know, I.
Danielle Catalano
Sometimes I can feel myself make a very unflattering.
Brooke Michio
Like, you just know it's going to look bad later. Yeah.
Danielle Catalano
Yeah. And I'm like. But at the same time, I'm not going to try to water myself down or like.
Brooke Michio
No, we're expressive. We're so great about us, who we are. Yeah. We use our hands to talk.
Danielle Catalano
Like, we're just out here being.
Brooke Michio
Yeah.
Danielle Catalano
Vibrant.
Brooke Michio
I've gotten a few too many messages lately about me being cringe, and it's annoying. But then I saw this tick. Not when I say a few. It was like three. And it really, like, got to me know.
Danielle Catalano
And that's a. I will say it's kind of a low blow.
Brooke Michio
It's kind of. Honestly, like, that's so cringe. But I saw this Tik Tok and I literally posted and was like, you thought it was cringe? I thought it was fun and I'm happier. And I was like, it's so true.
Danielle Catalano
It's true. You're out here living your best life.
Brooke Michio
Like, we're out here going on stage, like, putting it all out on the.
Danielle Catalano
On the floor.
Brooke Michio
On the dance floor.
Danielle Catalano
We left everything on that.
Brooke Michio
Yeah. And not that people were saying our show is cringe, that I haven't hurt, but. But it's like, we thought that was fun and, like, we love. I'm so grateful for our life. But like, some people think it's cringe.
Danielle Catalano
Like, okay, that's the biggest sentiment. I feel like when people. I want to start like social media or whatever, but I like, it's cringe and it's like, I don't have it.
Brooke Michio
I don't know what to tell you.
Danielle Catalano
Like, actually, I did watch a really good video recently. What? Aaliyah's face. She's amazing. And she did a full length video and someone was like, how do I get over. Over this? And she was like, you're baby. You are literally like the way she said. I was like, that is so. You are a sim. Like, you have to like, just behave and like, do all these things because. And like, take yourself out of it, I guess, in your ego.
Brooke Michio
And you're like.
Danielle Catalano
And sort of do all of it and not think about what other people's.
Brooke Michio
Like, yeah, like, just do.
Danielle Catalano
Sort of like just like do the task. I don't know.
Brooke Michio
Like, do what you're called to do and just keep doing that. You don't have to worry about, like, just focus on controlling your sim.
Danielle Catalano
Yeah. If you're that passionate about it, like, I don't know. It's so a little good tip for being cringe. But I know I'm. I mean, I'm fudgeing cringe all the time.
Brooke Michio
No. And of course me too. But like, shut up, Shut up. Let me romanticize. Thank you.
Danielle Catalano
What do they say it in reference to? Something specific? Like, will it be like, oh, you're. The way you did this is cringe or the way like.
Brooke Michio
Or you just like, she's so like, like on my YouTube, it'll be like, oh, she's so cringe. I'm like, I want to reply and be like, at what timestamp was I cringe?
Danielle Catalano
Like, it was good until 2002 or something.
Brooke Michio
Yeah, no, it's definitely a good time. And I love talking about this at the live shows, so definitely.
Danielle Catalano
Oh, yeah, we've got some.

Well, the students, I need essentially a facelift at 27. I hope you guys all support me. No, I'm joking.
Brooke Michio
You're so. You're so good about being like, oh, boom, let me fix it. I'm like, g. I hate my face. What am I gonna do? I just, like, don't do anything about it. I just hope that my gua sha works that day.
Danielle Catalano
No, I feel like it's great. I feel like you. You have such great, like, natural features and everything.
Brooke Michio
Oh, no, that's very kind. It's not the case. I'm terrified of needles and all those things, but I. Maybe 20, 25 will be the year.
Danielle Catalano
I. Oh, hey, hey, hey.
Brooke Michio
Go on a field trip. We can go.
Danielle Catalano
Yeah.
Brooke Michio
Could be fun.
Danielle Catalano
You know, I.
Brooke Michio
But see, I don't really care about the forehead thing. I feel like that's what everyone does first. Like, I want to be like. Like, I want to be. I wanna. I wanna facelift. Like, if I'm doing something I don't.
Danielle Catalano
Want, I think that forehead, like, cool sculpting.
Brooke Michio
Yeah.
Danielle Catalano
Is that what you're talk, like, draw?
Brooke Michio
Well, I keep thinking I want masseter.
Danielle Catalano
Oh, that's an easy little.
Brooke Michio
Yeah. Oh, that thing?
Danielle Catalano
Yeah. That's easy. I thought you meant, like.
Brooke Michio
Well, I would love that, but no, I'm just like. That's a lot.
Danielle Catalano
That's. That's, like more like, you know, cut open.
Brooke Michio
Yeah, yeah. No, I'm not.
Danielle Catalano
No, you could do a little.
Brooke Michio
I have to get cavities filled next week. I'm nervous about that. Like, that's what I'm really.
Danielle Catalano
A lot of people. I'm learning about dental anxiety, though. Like, that's a very common thing.
Brooke Michio
Yeah, I guess I have that. Add that to the list. Yeah, yeah, that, like, goes under the health anxiety umbrella. We have, like, y. Dental cardiology. Like, we've got now vision, maybe vision. As long as it doesn't affect driving. I feel like that's like.
Danielle Catalano
You don't really drive a lot, so.
Brooke Michio
I don't. No, I don't. And it doesn't. Like, I can read all of the signs. It's like the smaller, finer print.
Danielle Catalano
Like, the bagel shop.
Brooke Michio
Like, what sides do they have?
Danielle Catalano
You know, that's.
Brooke Michio
Wait, so back to, like, the holidays. So you're going home for Christmas.
Danielle Catalano
Going home for Christmas for. I honestly haven't even decided the length of time yet.
Brooke Michio
But you don't have to. You don't have to book a flight. You can just.
Danielle Catalano
No.
Brooke Michio
He's out, fam.
Danielle Catalano
Oh. I will announce it here because it's coming the next two weeks. Say goodbye to big red hair.
Brooke Michio
Oh, my God.
Danielle Catalano
Yes. After. In between Christmas and the New Year, I will be dyeing my hair back to its original color. Haters, rejoice. You win.
Brooke Michio
You still hating on your hair?
Danielle Catalano
I. I haven't, like, re. Brought it up again, but, like, I don't know.
Brooke Michio
Oh, my God. It's not really booked.
Danielle Catalano
Yeah.
Brooke Michio
So what did you say to Mads?
Danielle Catalano
I was just like, I think it, you know, don't hate. And she was like, look, she had a good run.
Brooke Michio
She was like, look, we had some good times in the salon.
Danielle Catalano
Yeah. But, you know, it's. What?
Brooke Michio
Enjoy it. I really like it right now. So you're not touching it up anymore. This is.
Danielle Catalano
No, this will be the last. You know, And I could go back, like, you know.
Brooke Michio
Yeah.
Danielle Catalano
Now I probably will.
Brooke Michio
Coloring. Yep.
Danielle Catalano
I thought I would have the rest of tour, but I just, you know, I want to feel my best on this tour.
Brooke Michio
No, and if you're not feeling your best, like, I think, like you said, you just don't feel your best. Like, when you don't have makeup on. You were saying? Yeah, with the hair.
Danielle Catalano
Yes.
Brooke Michio
I know.
Danielle Catalano
I feel very washed out. Someone said it best in a comment. Like, they're like, love you, but, you know, thank you. But the hair shows up, like, before you do. You know what I mean? I get it, though. It's like, I walk into a room, they're like, red hair. Oh, it's you behind that brook.
Brooke Michio
I know what she means. Like, if you, like, even if, like, you don't have your makeup done, but, like, you go get a blowout, your hair is done. Like, not even do a color sometimes it's like your hair shows, and then it's like, oh, there's your face. Like, where's face?
Danielle Catalano
Versus, like, it all being one person consistent thing.
Brooke Michio
I. That's funny.
Danielle Catalano
Yeah. No, it was.
Brooke Michio
It was really profound.
Danielle Catalano
Well said. I was like, you know, like, black. Black air, boring, simple. More you.
Brooke Michio
No, I'm really so happy you did it, though. I think it looked amazing on stage at the live show. Yeah, no, it was so fun. It looks great with your outfit right now. It's very.
Danielle Catalano
Yeah.
Brooke Michio
Even, like, American.
Danielle Catalano
Okay. Yeah. No, I'm like, Americana gone bad. Like, you gotta hear it. No, it's not. It's not my classic style is the thing. That's the thing. Like, I'm having trouble, like, styling it with, like, my looks. Yeah.
Brooke Michio
Like, going to Soul Cycle. It's like, how are we styling?
Danielle Catalano
It's tough. It's tough. I mean, I fit in in Brooklyn. I'm not gonna lie. I do.
Brooke Michio
Like, I'm gonna miss my hipsters.
Danielle Catalano
Yes. No, I dye my hair. Rather than every. Suddenly, like, people who. You know, it's a different type of person. Like, people have never ever commented to my hair before. Like, you know, I love.
Brooke Michio
Yeah. What coffee shops do you go to?
Danielle Catalano
Yeah. Yeah. Have you tried the new yoga spot?
Brooke Michio
Yeah. And you're like, oh, no. Suddenly I need to.
Danielle Catalano
Not my crowd. Not my crowd.
Brooke Michio
You guys won't like me very much. Wait, so when.
Danielle Catalano
So in between Christmas and New Year's, I will be. So sometime in between, then. So I'll be coming back with dark hair. So this will be the last time this red hair grazes junior. Oh, my God. What about. But she'll be met.
Brooke Michio
What about me?
Danielle Catalano
Yeah. Ye. But what about you?
Brooke Michio
What about my hair color?
Danielle Catalano
No, your hair color is great. And the blowout, the extensions. I feel like it's a whole vibe.
Brooke Michio
Thank you.
Danielle Catalano
Well, what else are you doing over Christmas? How long are you even going home for?
Brooke Michio
Going home for 10 days. Going home. Hoping to make it to Disney family kind of Wants to go to Universal. I'm like, well, that's a pivot. Because like literally every year, except for like two years, we miss. We've gone to Disney and I'm like, that's like what we do. But working on that.
Danielle Catalano
What's the hold up with Universal? You just don't like, like it?
Brooke Michio
Well, it's just I've never been, you know me, I'm tradition based and it's just not Disney during the holiday. Like, I'm sure they do a great job. I love Universal. I like, sure they do a great show. But Christmas in Disney, you were just there. Like, it's, it's really. I know.
Danielle Catalano
And it's all decorated and it's like, yeah, yeah, it's nice.
Brooke Michio
But I don't have much plans other than that. Working on like slowly helping my dad kind of refurbish or re. Refinish the house, like getting a new couch. And like, he just needs his hand to be held. So we're working on, on getting some new furniture.
Danielle Catalano
Danielle Carol, Danielle Marie Interiors llc.
Brooke Michio
Yes.
Danielle Catalano
That's great.
Brooke Michio
Yeah, so that'll be fun. And then coming back for New Year's and having some friends over. What are you doing for New Year's again? You're going to concert?
Danielle Catalano
I have tickets to a concert. I'm gonna try to go to both events.
Brooke Michio
Oh, really?
Danielle Catalano
I am going to try my best.
Brooke Michio
Oh my God. Where will the ball drop at during the concert?
Danielle Catalano
I. I presume because it's.
Brooke Michio
I'm sure. I'm assuming it's a DJ concert.
Danielle Catalano
Yeah, yeah. I've seen this done before where they like kind of pause for like the minute leading up and they're like, what's. Yeah.
Brooke Michio
Oh, that's really cool.
Danielle Catalano
Yeah.
Brooke Michio
Well, hopefully. Yeah, you should stop by on it. Could be like the pre game to the concert.
Danielle Catalano
Yeah, that's what I was thinking.
Brooke Michio
As long as traffic and all that. Well, we can chat offline, but that's.
Danielle Catalano
We'll make it work. Yeah, but that's so fun that you're. This is your first like, I mean, you didn't have a housewarming, so I guess this is like really the.
Brooke Michio
Well, yeah, I didn't like buy the place though.
Danielle Catalano
But it's still like, still. It's.
Brooke Michio
No, but I took a page from your book. I got the bartender. I'm so excited. They don't have me having a bar back because I told them like probably 30, 40 people and they're like, okay, you don't need a bar far back. Oh, wow. So just me and the bartender. But I gotta figure that other than that, I don't know. I. It's like a later problem. But I just started making the particle, you know, getting the deals just so.
Danielle Catalano
People know, like, planning your vibe.
Brooke Michio
Yeah, but I know how New Year's works. People don't want to agree to something until last minute. And I know the day of it's gonna be like, can I bring my five friends? And I'll be like, sure. Honestly, like, let's.
Danielle Catalano
Yeah. I feel like you always say yes. You're so good like that. You're like, yeah, of course.
Brooke Michio
Well, I've bit myself in the butt before. Well, say like, oh, I'm so. I'm a little worried about space. No. And then like, no, not everyone ends up showing up. Then I'm like, wait, I wish I told that girl she could bring her too. You know, like, just to be generous, too. Yeah, of course to be generous. I would like to be.
Danielle Catalano
But I'm like, well, to be generous, but then also to. Yeah, I know. Because you're.
Brooke Michio
You're like, okay.
Danielle Catalano
And then. Yeah.
Brooke Michio
And you want to make sure everyone gets along, like, the vibes.
Danielle Catalano
Like, I get it. When it's a group like that size, you kind of got to curate, like, you know, these people and these people.
Brooke Michio
Yeah.
Danielle Catalano
And I know you think about, like, not inviting people if you hurt their feelings. So I feel like you can't think about that. You just have to do.
Brooke Michio
Just have to do. Yeah. So we'll see.
Danielle Catalano
That will be a really fun little.
Brooke Michio
I'm excited to dress up and, like, have a time. Wear some sparkles. We should definitely draw some more sparkles.
Danielle Catalano
Festive year.
Brooke Michio
Yeah. It's gonna 20, 25, baby. It's gonna be so good.
Danielle Catalano
I'm gonna make that my.
Brooke Michio
Gonna make that my. It's gonna be a good time. And we're gonna come back to the podcast with lots of energy. We'll be talking about all kinds of things. We'll be on tour. Like, there's just so much to look forward to next year. But for now, we want you guys to enjoy the holiday season. And also, if you're missing us, we both have YouTube channels, so you can go watch our vlogs. We both post on Instagram and tick tock and like, every platform ever, honestly. So there should be no lack thereof.
Danielle Catalano
Yeah. You'll be able to find us if you really want. You know, you can locate where we're at.
Brooke Michio
You can find us. We've. There's probably some sort of Content somewhere. So.
Danielle Catalano
And do we think Tick Tock is really going for good this time? I don't.
Brooke Michio
I have no idea. But I'm noticing a lot of Tick Tockers posting on Instagram. Like posting their reels. Like doing the. Doing the dumpster doubles. I don't know. But we'll be on YouTube, baby, no matter what.
Danielle Catalano
We've been here before Tick Tock, so.
Brooke Michio
Luckily we stayed there.
Danielle Catalano
It's like we're like dinosaurs. Like in the. We were here in the prehistoric age.
Brooke Michio
Yeah. We're seeing it all.
Danielle Catalano
Like, you're like the dinosaurs.
Brooke Michio
We're just in BC or BT before Tick Tock. At. After Tick Tock.
Danielle Catalano
Yes.
Brooke Michio
I don't know the one thing I would miss about Tick Tock. I'm sure you do. Like we post. I post stuff on there that I'm like, eh, we'll see how it goes. Like, maybe people will hate this.
Danielle Catalano
Speaking of all the cringe and how we just said you have to be a sim and whatever. Like, I feel like that was messaging to ourselves though, to post that anywhere. Yeah, you know, I have the similar idea. Or I'll, you know, maybe get a little vulnerable on Tick Tock or something. And I'm like, I literally don't care.
Brooke Michio
Which is crazy because honestly, people are the meanest on TikTok, at least for me.
Danielle Catalano
Yeah, not in.
Brooke Michio
Not everyone. Like, you guys are amazing. But TikTok is where it reaches, like people that don't follow you.
Danielle Catalano
For sure. For sure.
Brooke Michio
But that's where I feel the most comfortable post. It's weird.
Danielle Catalano
It's probably just because that's where that type of content lives.
Brooke Michio
Yeah.
Danielle Catalano
Like, you know, the vulnerable. Like. Yeah.
Brooke Michio
Where the trolls are. Under the bridge.
Danielle Catalano
Oh, it's where the trolls are. But it's also where the vulnerable. Like, I feel like people will share some crazy. That one trend of like the. What is the Muppet?
Brooke Michio
Oh, God.
Danielle Catalano
And it's like the girl with the.
Brooke Michio
Olive oil in her hair. Dude, those videos are so funny.
Danielle Catalano
Stories there's hysterical.
Brooke Michio
Yeah. I'm forgetting the song that plays behind it.
Danielle Catalano
Now I hear your voice.
Brooke Michio
Oh, yeah.
Danielle Catalano
Isn't that it?
Brooke Michio
Yes. And then like starts to escalate. God, those videos are so funny. Like, thank you all for your service and posting.
Danielle Catalano
I love it. I love a silly story that we love.
