Talking with my professor Dr. Melanie Shoup-Knox about life

Today I met with Dr. Ashton Trice to discuss his career and how he went from graduating with a degree in Music Composition to becoming an Educational Psychologist and working as a professor. Dr. Trice was the reason I started this podcast. I spoke with him last semester and I found that I felt a lot less anxious after I left. Feeling reassured that I don't need to know exactly what I am doing right now. I hope you enjoy this episode as much as I enjoyed talking with Dr. Trice.

In this episode, I speak about the difference between should versus could and the importance of focusing on the could.

In this week's episode, I talk to Candace Brendler, a grad student at JMU, about living in the moment, our shared love of science and outdoor recreation, and dealing with uncertainty.

Dr. Jeff Dyche and I talk about life, how he found his career path, and the fear of making the wrong decision. He spent a lot of his career doing research at the Air Force Academy in Colorado. He offers his insights, expertise, and advice to those of us scared of what the future may hold. I hope you enjoy!
