I appreciate your patience over these last couple of weeks. My computer decided to "kick-the-bucket" (RIP old friend) before I could complete the intended episode finale. Versions of this tale have circulated for years. One popular depiction was told in author Glen Grant's TV special 'Chick'n Skin: Tales of Supernatural Hawaii' that came out in the mid-90's. Ever since seeing that interpretation as a child, the images of the story have stuck with me to this day. As the victim in my version discovers, "new beginnings" can always be haunted by tragic pasts...
