But he's so sweet. He literally was like, we haven't seen you. The four of us gotten together this summer. Like, yeah. What? And I go, you know, it's crazy. My birthday is next week. Yeah. Should we get together for my birthday? And he was like, yeah. And we. I don't know who came up with it, but I was. I think I was like, let's surprise Paige. And we suddenly get so excited. He was just like, what? No, we're going. And I was like, okay. And I. And then I kept being like, we could have gone someplace closer. I'm also like, it's a Wednesday night.

And I'm so excited. Like, she's gonna be so happy. Like, she has no idea. I'm texting Joe. We're so into. I'm like, I'm on. This is a big trip, by the way. It's, like, two hours to get. I realized I have a business call, and normally business calls are like, zooms. And I'm like, she's gonna see him in a car, and she's gonna wonder why I'm in the car. And I'm like, no, she's not. She's never wondered any of these things. But we got on the call. It's not zoom. I'm like, thank God so I don't have to lie to four people. I was sweating at that point. Meanwhile, you're just going about your skincare routine.

Literally living my life. Honestly, I couldn't figure out what to wear, so I also wanted to cancel. Like, I was like, I'm not going. Like, I can't. Am I wearing shorts? Like, what am I doing?

No. And if anything, it's at like the end of dinner. I've never. Whatever. So he goes to the bathroom, and I'm just like sitting there. The waiter comes over, like, why am I here? Puts like. Puts like water down. I'm looking at the menu, and then I look up and run. Rounding the corner is Hannah and does. And my face. I was like,

So a girl walked in, she's wearing these zebra shorts, and I thought, I love a zebra short.

So it is really good. But one of the dinners, I don't know, they were, like, doing, like, reality TV questions. And one of the questions was like, if your friend got arrested and you had no idea what it was for, what's their first thought in your brain on why they got arrested? So I, like, immediately thought, like, okay, Hannah gets arrested. What am I thinking?

And my first thought thought was, she

drove into, like, a building.

Like, she accidentally drove into the yoga studio, and she, like, literally didn't mean to. And then her foot slipped, and then she was being a little hostile and resisting arrest, and they were like, you're drunk. And she's like, I'm not drunk. I don't have a drink. They're like, you're high. And she's like, I can't smoke.

That's so funny, because last night we left the restaurant, Dez was like, I'm kind of tired. Like, you drove 20 minutes the other day. Do you want to drive back? And I was like, first of all, I'm drunk.

First of all, divorce. How dare you say that?

He was, like, kind of joking.

And he was like, you're drunk. And I'm like, I had six sips of an apparel spritz. I'm fucking loaded right now. That's so unsafe. And he's like, oh, I would never ask you. I didn't know that you, like, you weren't.

You could have fully operated a vehicle.

And when you're getting in the nitty gritty of a gossip session, you lock in physically and mentally.

That's so funny when you're, like, hammered at the club, and then some drama arises, and suddenly you're crystal clear.

And then crystal clear, you're alert. Yeah. I know what you would get arrested for. We talked about last night, but something about smuggling a drug in an airport, Something regarding a weed pen. And I'd be like, get my girl out. Wait, do you want to hear how fucking prude I am? You ever, like, leaving a foreign country and they're like, do you. Have you taken any, like, at least 100 things and one of it is, like, dirt or something?

I've never seen that.

Like, you, like, you can't take, like, things from the ground or something?

I didn't tell you my Italy airport story with the tax free.

If you're doing it before tsa, you can just show it to them in your checked bag, then check your bags. Now, I like to do it after tsa because you get through tsa, and you're like, okay, I'm few. I'm gonna make my flight. Then you, like. You deal with all that. Doing it before is, like, kind of a logistical nightmare. Whatever. When I get through now, I have never, in my travels put everything I've bought in my carry on because never once have they ever asked me to see it. This time, I was like, you know what? I'm just gonna put everything I bought majority in my carry on. And then I have, like, a few things I'll put in my checked bag just in case. Like, I did kind of buy a lot this year. I get through tsa, I go to, like, the scanner thing. I'm scanning my stuff. It says, like, see a agent. Like, go to the desk. The girl standing next to me was like, oh, I think it's over there. No line. Amazing. It's like, okay, older woman. I go up. I'm like, hey, this is, like my code. It says, come see the thing. Come see a person. This is my receipt. She goes, come here. Like, waves me into the little build or in little office. Office. She goes, let me see all your stuff. So I start taking everything.

She goes, okay, there's like, a coat. A coat. I go, okay. It's not a coat. It's actually. It's actually like a wrap that you could totally, I guess, wear as a coat.

But I was thinking more over a dress and then wear it as a total outfit. You could wear it as a go.

She did not want to do any of it. I could tell she didn't want to do it. And I was missing a couple things. And right when we got to, like, the first thing I'm missing, I'm like, oh, it must be in my checked bag. Okay, I won't take the tax free for that item. Like, don't worry about it. I don't have it. I know that's against the rules. Whatever. And she goes, no, I can't do any of it. And I'm like. I'm like, wait, but I have the other stuff. Can you do the stuff I have? And she's like, now get out. And I was like, you just looked at all my stuff. Not one time did you say anything was cute.

Yeah, there is one of those. But I'm not. I'm walking, you know, when like. And the cops like watching you. And then I'm like, how did I ever use my hands when I walk? Anyway, I did drive. I'm not driving from the city to the Hamptons.

Like, this fucking guy. This is fucking brights on. Like, that's all my childhood was, was this fucking guy sells his brights on. And I'm like, does no one? He's like, oh, this dangerous is brights on?

Yeah. I used to get into a fight with my dad because in high school, my car looked like it had, like, high beams on, but it didn't. And he'd be like, you don't know how to work the car. And I'd be like, it's not. I would get so annoyed.

You're like, women can actually drive really well. Not my best friend, but a lot of women. It's actually feminist of me not being able to drive well to show, like, women can be multifaceted.

You then start to, like, get places, and when you get there, you're. You don't remember how you got there because you were thinking of other things while you drove there.

Where now I'm like, oh, my God. Like, I get out of the car, I feel like a suburban teenager. I'm like, I just got my coffee. Like, I'm independent. I. You know, I did. Of course, when I was driving to my blood test or whatever, I. I googled Southampton Animal Shelter. I go up five minutes away, going there next. I started making stops. I was doing whatever I wanted.

Hannah, you're hungover too. What did you drink yesterday? The guy was like, oh, you got salt and sugar with salt and sugar on it.

I'm really in a spicy margarita kick. Okay, I got it back. She was talking about how freedom, really, the definition of, like, women having freedom is having multiple options. And one of the things about being able to drive is at any point, you can get, you can go.

[Paige]

I'm like, kids, we're getting on the bicycle.

Yeah.

[Kim]

Like, you need to. You need to have an exit strategy at. At any time. You need to know that you can.

[Paige]

Situations that I've been like, well, I can't get out because the uber's gonna take 20 minutes.

[Kim]

So many situations in my Life where I've been going somewhere or doing something and I've had, like, a gut feeling, and I'm like, I'm actually gonna drive. And then being. And then something happening and me being like, yeah, see ya. Like, I'm out.

[Paige]

It's so nice to be able to be in a car and lock it. There's a peacefulness to it.

[Kim]

The relationship you have by yourself in your own car.

[Paige]

No, I've, like, met a new Hannah. I'm like, who are. Who is this?

[Kim]

Yeah, it's like a different meditative state.

[Paige]

It's so funny. Oh, this is our mental health moment.

Wait, did your mom give you, like, different saint cards to, like, put in your car and, like, a rosary?

She's not as Catholic.

Of course you need someone to keep

you safe, but this is the thing about religion. If that gives you the confidence you need to feel calm on the road, then that's amazing.

And makes everything better. Mental health moment. My mom was telling me because Bobby and Lois visited, and Bobby, within two weeks, like, his speech was getting so much better. And my mom's like a little scientist woman in stem. And I don't know where she got this statistic, but she was basically like, when kids travel, they have to, like, re regulate, and, like, they basically, like, retain information better because they're like, in a new environment and they're just like a sponge. And then it got me thinking about. I feel like that's with adults too. Like, me and you have both traveled more recently, and being in a. Putting yourself in a different environment immediately makes you grow. It's kind of like when you're in a new relationship. Like, you come out of it and you're a more evolved person. So I'm not saying we all have to go to Fiji, but I'm saying get on the train, go to Rockaway beach, go somewhere. And it really does change your mindset.

[Kim]

Yeah.

[Paige]

Even just go for a walk. It really does reign. Ignite, like, your brain just to, like, re. Jiggle things. I know that's not, like, the scientific way to say it, but I just wanted to give that advice because I think it's true when you're, like, in the same routine every single day, it might feel safe, but I think it also, like, keeps you stuck a little. That's why you should break up with your boyfriends.

[Kim]

100 agree. And I think, like, every couple months, I feel like I do an activity that's, like, longer than, like, getting my nails done by myself, like, outside of the home. And you feel better after. You almost feel, like, more confident. Like, oh, yeah, I can go and, like, sit there by myself. Like, one day, I went to the beach all day by myself, and that was, like, small, but I was like,

[Paige]

no, I remember that day.

[Kim]

Yeah, I'm gonna hang out by myself and do stuff.

[Paige]

Because you told me, like, four times. You're like, hey, on the beach by myself.

[Kim]

Because I was like, do you want to come to.

[Paige]

Like, I know I'm tracking you. I know you've been there. But I also think I like challenging my identity where, like, people used to know me as, like, oh, Hannah, the girl can't drive. And I'm like, what if. What if one day I could drive? You can't put me in a box anymore. You don't even know who I. I am anymore. Like, my people from my past, they don't know this Hannah.

[Kim]

Right?

[Paige]

Drive, bro. What are you gonna do?

[Kim]

Is this a childhood trauma thing that you feel like you conquered? Not trauma. I mean, like, a high school thing that you're like, I never got my license.

[Paige]

Well, at first, it was. It was like, a cocky New York City thing.

Like, people you liked not driving.

[Paige]

We loved being like, yeah, we're from the city. Of course we don't drive.

[Kim]

Oh, of course you don't.

[Paige]

Where are we gonna park a car? Yeah, we were just like, yeah, we're from the city. And then I went to Wisconsin, and I was like, yeah, I'm from the city. I don't drive. And then all my teammates would drive me everywhere because I had 10 teammates with cars. And then it started to be a problem. Then it started being like, it went from cool to, oh, you don't drive.

[Kim]

Yeah.

[Paige]

Yeah. And also, I grew up where, like, my nana didn't really drive. My uncle didn't really drive. So I kind of had this voice in my head, like, you might be like, them. Like, you just don't drive.

[Kim]

My mom doesn't really drive, and she doesn't live in a city.

[Paige]

And that's why Kim's like, Kim stopped

[Kim]

driving, like, 15 years ago. Like, she'll go drive if she has. If she has to get someplace, but typically, she's like, call someone. And she's like, drive me. And we do.

[Paige]

I know plenty of people who drive that. I'm like, maybe we shouldn't.

No. And Kim is actually one of those

That is so cute. I would be like, if I go out and I come home at this time, I could sleep for four hours.

Also, I received backlash last episode because I'm normally full of positivity in life and light and laughter.

But I. I had some critiques on the first episode of Furious. Or maybe the first half of Furious. People were. They were like, hannah, you lost the plot. Like, it's a great show.

Do you have an update of how you recently felt about it?

Okay, well, I just watched the fifth episode, and there is a part that is very realistic. Though, in life. Because she does, like, go back to her abuser. And so I. It made me upset.

That that's where they took it. But I still stick by that. I love that show.

[Paige]

I didn't get to the point where she had an abuser.

[Kim]

You didn't watch the show. And then you're coming and you're. And we've given you this platform and this forum to speak positivity into the world and make a real change in the lives of women, and you come on this platform and you abuse it.

[Paige]

If it is a story regarding abuse and stuff, I think it's important and should be watched.
