For the love of God. You've got to show everyone that you've got a tag sticking out of your dress. How have we made it so far? I don't know. How do you think other people are like this or is it just us?
Angela
I think we're really unique.
Arielle
I think if we had a reality show, it would hit. What do you think?
Angela
Well, what about the people in Austin saying, wanting. Wanting us to do a reality show? And I said, imagine we would Never do this. We are serious about ministry. However, imagine if we did a Christian dating show where you and I were the hosts.
Arielle
She said, let's do one like Love Island Love. But they all have to. They're all in purity and they have to all go in separate beds.
Angela
Yeah, of course.
Arielle
So they're just all living together all day together.
Angela
Yeah. I mean, like, women in one house, men in another, and they're living in purity and they're, like, moving towards marriage and there's boundaries and.
Arielle
Yeah, that would be kind of cool. What do you guys think?
Angela
What do you guys think about that? Can you imagine, though? And then where the host maybe we
Arielle
get no boyfriends trying to get people married. Should we be on the show?
Angela
Well, I was gonna say, since we're the hosts, we get to pick. Like, we get to have our pick as well. Imagine we did a Christian dating show and it was, like, really holy and we talked about Jesus and talk about, like, Ephesians 5. There would be games. It'd be amazing. It'd be hilarious.
Arielle
And. And then. And then whoever slips up gets cut. Oh. I mean, if we see one. If we see one of these Christians sneaking into a room. Yeah, they get. They get the.
Angela
They get an X immediately and they. Yeah, you're out, dude. Purity is everything.
Arielle
You're out. You're. You're absolutely out.
Angela
We make it holy, though.
Arielle
All right, what do you guys think?
Angela
What do you guys think?
Arielle
No, this week, this weekend was so funny. We had to go to Austin to speak on a panel.
Angela
Okay, we have to tell this story, but before we start. Hi, I'm An.
Arielle
And I'm Ari.
Angela
And this is Girls Gone Bible. We are a faith based podcast where we talk all things spirituality, mental health, relationships. The Bible and everything that we do here is rooted in our love for Jesus. We are all living very different lives on unique individual journeys. But we are all united in the one one thing that is more important than anything, and it's the death, the burial, and the resurrection of Jesus Christ. I just feel really compelled to say that every episode to let people know that we serve a God who is not some abstract deity in space. He's not a good idea. He is a person. His name is Jesus. He has a holy spirit who inhabits our hearts and our bodies when we give our lives to him. If you haven't given your life to Jesus, I'm telling you, it is actually literally life or death. And there's no other way to live your life except following the Lord Jesus. Following the Bible, there's nothing more important. Get a Bible, read it. Start in the Gospel of John and read about the life of Jesus and it'll change your whole life. And it's. There's nothing truly nothing more important. And that was a great intro, Ange. On that note, that was probably one
Arielle
of the best ones.
Angela
We are not in our state space that we created. Yeah. And before people freak out, we failed.
Arielle
So, I mean, I am utterly disappointed in myself personally. And I felt like, wow, we don't like it.
Angela
We don't like it. But we're gonna fix it and it's gonna take some time.
Arielle
Revamp.
Angela
Yeah.
Arielle
We felt like it was a little too mature and dark. And our personalities are very vibrant. It didn't really match who we were.
Angela
We're just gonna do a revamp. But in the meantime, we're back with our trusty honeycomb background. You never fail us, honeycomb.
Arielle
So get into okay.
Angela
This weekend. We have to, guys. We have not had a story like this in a long time.
Arielle
This episode is sponsored by Better Health. With it being March, I've been thinking a lot about women and everything we carry. The visible things and the invisible ones too. The way we show up for our families, our relationships, our work, and still somehow hold space for everyone else. I was actually thinking about all the women in my life. My friends, my mom. The women I've watched carry so much with so much strength. And it made me realize how easy it is for our emotional well being to get pushed to the side. And the truth is, you matter too. And therapy can be a space where you finally get to be supported. A space to process what you're carrying, to set boundaries, and to take care of yourself in a real and intentional way. Because you don't have to carry everything on your own. BetterHelp makes it simple to get started. You take a short questionnaire and they match you with a licensed therapist. And if it's not the right fit, you can switch at any time. Your emotional well being matters. Find support and feel lighter in therapy. I had a moment recently where I actually looked at my phone bill and thought, why am I paying so much every month? And I think a lot of us do that. We just, just accept it. We assume that's just what it costs. But it doesn't have to be. That's what led me to Mint Mobile. Their plans start at 15amonth, and you're still getting high speed data, unlimited talk and text, and all of the nation's largest 5G network. And it's simple. You keep your phone, keep your number, and you can activate in minutes. No contracts, no extra layers. What stood out to me is just realizing how much you could be saving by making a small shift. And honestly, you guys, if I needed this kind of plan, it's exactly what I'd use. Because when you really think about it, those monthly costs add up. This January, quit overspending on Wireless. Angela
why don't you tell it?
Arielle
No, go ahead.
Angela
We.
Arielle
We. We had. Go ahead. Okay, so we.
Angela
We go to Austin. We went to south by Southwest. It's festival. What is it?
Arielle
I don't know. I thought it was for podcasters, but everyone was there.
Angela
It's. It's a festival for music, movies, panels. There was award shows, podcasts, award shows. We also want to say that we were nominated for an I Heart Podcast award. And we're really sad to inform GGB game because you guys were like, all in this together. Stephen Furtick beat us.
Arielle
And then I said to Angel, I was like, well, good, because when I first started my faith on one of the first episodes, I think I said, you guys should listen to Stephen Furlick. I put, that is so crazy how much I've grown. Oh, praise God.
Angela
It's so beautiful that people get to see that.
Arielle
Yeah.
Angela
So Stephen Furtick beat us. Congratulations, Steven. It's all good.
Arielle
All good. We don't care.
Angela
And then so we're at south by Southwest, and Ari and I, the network that Ari and I are, that GGB is with, invited us to go speak on a panel. And we were so honored because they, out of all the podcasts that they work with, they chose and really wanted us specifically, like. Like, we were. This is what they told us. And I'm gonna believe them. They told us that we were their first pick, and we actually were kind of like, oh, we don't think we can do it. And they were like, please. Like, we love you guys. We want it to Be you guys that represent our company. And Ari and I are like, sure, we'd love to represent you guys. And so it was such an honor, and it's so sweet that they wanted us. So there was, like, a podcast panel, but guys, it was business. Like, it was a business panel. It was a bunch of, like, brands and podcast people and network people. Like, it was just like, the business side of everything. And so Ari and I are speaking on a panel for about 30 minutes. We're in Austin. We're honestly having the best time. The night before, we got to go to, like, a couple events. We went to a concert.
Arielle
I got to see Alanis Morissette, and she's my favorite icon.
Angela
You were so happy. You were flipping.
Arielle
It's like rain.
Angela
I didn't know she's saying that.
Arielle
Langley was unbelievable. I love her.
Angela
Ella Langley preached the gospel in the middle of herself. She was amazing.
Arielle
I want to be her friend so bad. Somebody DM her and say, I want to be a friend.
Angela
You should just DM her. She would probably love to be your friend.
Arielle
Do you think she let me do a little, like, chorus with her on stage?
Angela
I think so. You're a really good singer.
Arielle
Oh, Angela, give me a break.
Angela
I promise you, unless I'm Angela, I
Arielle
sound like a drowning cat. That's one thing I can't do is say no, that's not true.
Angela
You have a good voice and you can dance.
Arielle
I can. I can rap a little bit. Like, to like songs that I know you can. I know the whole hey Ma song, which I probably should. Which one here? Hematology. Oh, we're taking that out.
Angela
We go do this panel. Our outfits were cute, and we go to do this panel, and one of the network people that we're with, he's sitting in the middle of us on stage where you do a 30 minute panel. You guys, it's all business questions. So we open it up and, like, our natural instinct is just gospel preach Jesus. Like, so it's just like, what automatically comes out of us. So he asks us initially, like, what the mission is of the podcast and of. I take. Well, let me tell you guys what our mission is. It's about Jesus bringing people to Jesus. Jesus, Jesus, Jesus. And then he starts asking us questions. But usually interviewers will kind of like, pose the question to us together, so whoever has the answer will speak up. But this time he said specifically, Ariel, question. Angela, question. So you can't really, like, pass it off.
Arielle
I'm just. I don't know much about revenue and all these things scaling and all these things. I don't even know what I said. What did I say?
Angela
So Ari's like. He asked us about maybe, like, 15 questions.
Arielle
Arielle, how do you scale?
Angela
So, Arielle, how do you like. And then asks a question when it comes to, like, the ins and outs of, like, ads and all that stuff and whatever.
Arielle
Angela in a panic.
Angela
And Ari would be like, well, I would say it just kind of comes back to being authentic and vulnerable.
Arielle
That's all I knew. And I see her in the corner of her eye laughing. And then he starts telling us about. What was the word? What's the word he said?
Angela
Hobbyist.
Arielle
Oh. So then he. He gets finished. He gets finished talking about what a hobbyist is and the difference between being a hobbyist and something else. But. But Angela.
Angela
So what happens is he starts asking me a question, and he says, what is the difference between a hobbyist and. I don't remember of the question. And then I guess he explained.
Arielle
He explained the whole thing, what a
Angela
hobbyist is and what the other thing is.
Arielle
And when I looked at Angela, I could tell she was. She was gone.
Angela
I went, so do you guys ever. You know, like, I started thinking about my personal life a little bit, and so you see my eyes glaze over, and I just go. In a completely other world. And so he finishes talking, and then I tune back in. I look at him, and I go, I'm so sorry. What's a hobbyist? And he goes, and I didn't know that he had just explained what it is. And then he explains it, and I. Okay.
Arielle
And what's the question?
Angela
We were dying on stage. We started laughing, and we just let everybody into it, and the whole place, like, all these business people, everybody was on there.
Arielle
And I'm like, well, for the. We've had that. We've had the podcast for the past two years, and it'll be like three years.
Angela
Three years. And he goes, oh, three years. Three years it was. And we say all that to say it actually went so well. But I just. We wanted to show, like, tell you guys about the business panel that we did. And it's just so funny because you can say whatever you want about us, but you can't say that we're these, like, genius, strategic people, know what we are doing. It's so funny.
Arielle
It was the best. But, you know, it's kind of cool. We woke all those business people up, actually. They actually listened. They weren't. They said, I wasn't paying attention the whole time. And then you guys woke me up.
Angela
Did they say that?
Arielle
Yeah.
Angela
And then we had just the best time to see Ari semi flirt for the first time in what feels like a long time was iconic.
Arielle
No, it's crazy because when you are in a healing phase, like I've been in a long healing phase and I have not been able to feel in like two and a half years.
Angela
Feel like romantically. Right.
Arielle
Just. Yeah. I haven't been able to feel towards anyone.
Angela
Yeah.
Arielle
Because I've been just. Just truly healing. I'm like. I remember walking out of the bathroom and being like, I can feel again. This episode is brought to you by Pocket House, the world's number one expandable hose. Okay, you guys, I'm not even going to lie. I didn't expect to care this much about a hose, but after actually using it, I get it. I've used those old hoses before and it's always the same thing. They kink, they're heavy, and somehow it turns into a whole struggle just to water your plants.
Angela
Sense.
Arielle
But when I tried the pocket hose Copperhead, the first thing I noticed was how light it is. Like, I'm not dragging anything around. It just moves with you. And living in la, I also love that I can control the water easily with the nozzle, so I'm not wasting water or letting it run. And the swivel head actually makes a difference. You're not fighting the hose. It just flows how it's supposed to. But what really sold me, when you turn the water off, it literally shrinks back down. No wrapping, no mess, no trying to make it look neat. It just does it on its own. I honestly would not go back to any other h. It just makes everything so much easier. The brand new Pocket Hose Copperhead with pocket pivot is a total game changer. For a limited time, you can get a free pocket pivot and a 10 pattern sprayer with the purchase of any size Copperhead hose. Just text Bible to 64000. That's Bible 264000 for your two free gifts with purchase message and data rates may apply. See terms for details.
Angela
That makes me so happy.
Arielle
Like, I can't believe I'm ready to date again.
Angela
Yes.
Arielle
It's crazy, man. That took a while.
Angela
Good. You did it the way that you should.
Arielle
I did.
Angela
You truly did it the right way.
Arielle
So, so worth it.
Angela
Yeah.
Arielle
But I can feel again. I feel like I'm. I don't know. I haven't looked at anyone in that way. Yeah. So it was nice. It's Nice to. To feel that again. Yeah.
Angela
It was nice to see you.
Arielle
What do I look like when. When I'm.
Angela
Well, I don't know how much we can. It's for you. You're just like. You're so yourself. Like, you are yourself. You are. Ari. You're unique. And you're not the type of person that, like, conforms to anybody. Like, you are yourself in every situation. You show up, and it is. Ari. Your humor, your. The way you operate, the way you talk. And so you. And I feel like. Especially when we came into this Christian life, it was really confusing because you're like, okay, so, like, what's my identity now? What can I take with me? What do I have to leave behind? Like, it's really confusing when that happens. And so I think for you, like, when you are with someone who you can be yourself with, I know that is your one thing, and it's. You can see it from a mile away.
Arielle
I know I have to be able to be myself. And I will know right away because, you know, when I can't be myself in front of someone. Yeah, that's the worst. You guys, is that not the worst thing in the world? When you are, like, a shell of yourself? That's how you know it's not the right person.
Angela
Yeah.
Arielle
When you can't be yourself.
Angela
So true.
Arielle
When someone is trying to mold you into someone you're not, that's when you know it's not right.
Angela
It's so true. And so you love. You just come alive when you're around somebody that you can be yourself with. And, like, Ari's humor comes out and you just become the best version of your. And so it was just really cool. We're ti. It was like. We're talking about this like something happened.
Arielle
Like nothing happened.
Angela
But she's alive.
Arielle
I'm back, baby.
Angela
She's alive. I'm, like, close for construction for a
Arielle
little while, but it's a good thing.
Angela
Yeah,
Arielle
it's the best place to be.
Angela
Truly.
Arielle
You know what? I had the thought I said to my mom the other day, because I was talking about dating, and I was like, my only concern is I don't want anyone to take me away from Jesus because it's been me and Jesus for two. Like, it's just. That's my. My husband, my everything, my best friend. And so there's just a different kind of intimacy you have when it's just you and him. I even look at married couples sometimes, and I'm like, I get. I have a little bit of nervousness in me because of the way. I'm sorry.
Angela
With.
Arielle
Been with Jesus.
Angela
Yeah.
Arielle
And I know sometimes that, like, it's not the same. Yeah. I don't know. But when you have a husband or a wife.
Angela
100.
Arielle
So it's the most special, precious time when it's just you and Jesus. So it's like. That's the thing. Like, we. We go through grief, which is okay, because we yearn for certain things.
Angela
Yeah.
Arielle
But there is nothing like just being with Jesus. That's why we, like. Like, singleness is so. It's so. No, it isn't. It's the greatest gift we have. Yeah. If we just lean into it. It's been. For me.
Angela
You've done it really well.
Arielle
Thank you.
Angela
You've done it really, really well.
Arielle
It wasn't me. It was Jesus.
Angela
And I've told you that so many times. Good for you.
Arielle
Thank you.
Angela
We're ready for your man. He's so handsome.
Arielle
He's cute, right? Yeah. Yeah, he is.
Angela
I have to. Can I tell you something really quick?
Arielle
You know those moments when you're just. You just know. It's like you sit down, you start weeping for no reason. You're like, what was that? And it was just God loving you. Yeah. I just sat on my couch. Yes. Was it yesterday? It was the day before yesterday. And I just sat on my couch. And I don't know. This is just like, being completely real and vulnerable. I've had so many thoughts the past year of, like, well, am I supposed to lead someone? Because I don't know.
Angela
Sometimes, like, lead someone to Jesus. Like, lead a guy to Jesus. Yeah.
Arielle
I just have a lot of thoughts. I've met many Christians, men, and sometimes it can be disheartening. And I'm just like. I come from such a different background where I need someone to understand where I come from and just be cool.
Angela
Yeah.
Arielle
And I want someone that gets me. And that's. Typically men that don't necessarily come from the Christian background. That's just been my experience. And. But when I. When I really sit with. With. With Jesus and I think about it, I'm like, gosh, I can't even imagine someone not being able to, like. Yeah. Pray for me and lead me and stuff. So I sat the other day and I. I closed my eyes and boom. He gives me a vision of my. The. It's always the back of my husband. I never can see the face, but it's always the back. Even when I get visions walking down the altar. But he was on his knees and he was like this worshiping and I just started weeping and I opened my eyes and I was like, thank you, Jesus. I know he loves you. Thank you for like, giving me that vision that he loves you, that I will be with someone that loves you. I love that R. It was a really sweet moment I had.
Angela
That is so sweet.
Arielle
It was. It was one of those moments where you're like, Jesus. That was a beautiful.
Angela
Well, because that's a huge deal. You're like, I just feel like God is so kind to do that, to be like. Because in your waiting and in your singleness, like, it gets really, really weird
Arielle
and you're just like, it gets funny
Angela
and like, of course there's temptation to compromise of like, does he really need to be that whole. Does he really need to be everything that we preach about? Or can I so. And I just feel like for God to give you that vision and like, put like such an emphasis on it, like, don't settle. You will receive that. That is so kind of him.
Arielle
It was cool.
Angela
So, yeah, before we start, we want to remind you that we are on the Girls Gone Bible Revival tour and we are so excited to be back on the road with you gu guys starting April 30th. And we have done 41 tour nights so far. And so we're almost at the finish line of what is the Girls Gone Bible tour. And so we really, really want to see you guys. We have all of our new dates@girlsgone bible.com tour. We really want to see you guys there. Love you, hug you, hear the gospel, hear the word of God and. And I'll be with Jesus together.
Arielle
Ggb, you guys, I love GGB because it's just more intimate and we get to go deeper with you guys and talk about really hard stuff that we probably wouldn't talk about on Girls Gone Bible. And so it just feels like being with your best friends on the couch, just having really in depth, deep, messy conversations. And so, yeah, I hope you would join us on Girls Gone Bible Plus. It's really special. I absolutely love it. I get so excited every time we get to film an episode. So I hope you would join us@girlsgotbible.com plus. I got a lot of comments in the comment section about my pcos and I know I've kind of briefly touched on it, but a lot of you guys deal with that just like I do. I know so many of my friends have it as well. And you guys ask questions of, like, how I deal with it. How I've been managing it, what I've been doing, what I've. What I've been eating. And is weird because recently I have been more affected by it. And so I've really had to buckle down and change my lifestyle and just completely. I think I touched on it a little bit last week, but changing my whole diet around. I am a foodie. I love chocolate, I love going out to eat. It's my favorite thing to do, like dinners with my friends. It's her love language. It's my love language. But I've really had to cut that out completely. And I have been cooking my meals, cooking, eating a lot of fruits, substituting desserts with fruits. I make a lot of soups, I eat a lot of meats and vegetables and potatoes. In the mornings it's like I have my little routine now. So in the mornings I'll make protein like an egg and chicken sausage or I'll do a protein shake. And I'm very adamant on taking vitamins now and just like watching when you eat at home. Because the thing is, is like I think people are getting

Arielle
So sick and developing all these things is because of the food. It's the oils. And I can't believe the way I feel now. Just making my own meals.
Angela
Yeah.
Arielle
Knowing what I'm cooking with. Healthy good oils instead of all these seed oils.
Angela
I don't even recognize you. When I first met you, you would have eaten anything.
Arielle
Cheeses. She said, take goldfish. Do you guys ever.
Angela
You loved goldfish.
Arielle
That's what used to get me to. Yeah, because I would get The Quest Bar.
Angela
And you, I would get you goldfish or I'd get you those little Ritz like peanut butter.
Arielle
Every time we go to the gas station, she'd come out with her Quest bar and then you'd have. Yeah, the peanut butter crackers. Yeah.
Angela
Oh, I would be so happy to
Arielle
get that for you, but I didn't realize. Why do I feel so groggy? Why am I so bloated all the time? Why am I always so tired? And it's because I was eating over processed foods. I was eating chocolate. You can't eat that when you have pcos. It affects you, your fatigue, you're tired. So the way to reverse that is eating super clean and living a healthy lifestyle. Because there's no medications for it.
Angela
There's no medication for pcos?
Arielle
No, there isn't. My friend put her friend on a heavy and I'm going to put all this in the description, but there's a shit called the Heavy Metal Detox Shake. And they have a lot of amazing ingredients that really help you with your pcos. So I'll put that in the description. I love celery juice. It really has helped my gut tremendously. And I just eat a lot of meats and I eat really clean and I'm eating a lot of fruits and making really good protein shakes in the morning and getting a lot of exercise.
Angela
Yeah.
Arielle
And I feel so good. My skin feels good. Thank you. But I feel good. I feel more energized. It was the best thing, the best lifestyle change I could have ever made. And I think we all should be doing that. Not just because I have pcos. It was like that little nudge from God to be like, take care of, take care of yourself. Which I always do. I love. I've always eaten organic, but I just go out to dinner so much I kind of just eat whatever. And so making that change has been such a game changer for me.
Angela
And what happens? Because sometimes you get these flare ups.
Arielle
Yeah.
Angela
What does that look like for you? Because. And you said it happens like every couple of months.
Arielle
Well, so I don't typically get my period. Like the way PCOS works is it's really hard to get your period. Your body doesn't regular, your body doesn't operate like a normal woman.
Angela
I just want to say to my brothers that are watching right now, please keep watching. It's really important that you guys know this about women. Okay.
Arielle
And so, yeah, if I eat certain things or if I'm about. If my body wants to get my Period. I'll have like these flare ups where my stomach is hurts, it's bloated, I have to have a heating pad on. I feel awful. I'm moody. Yeah, just.
Angela
It affects your mood.
Arielle
Yeah, of course. And so there would be so many times where I didn't know why I didn't feel good or I was sad or. And it, it's. Your hormones are so crazy, it affects you so much. And so that's why changing that my lifestyle has been. And what do you do when you
Angela
get those flare ups is that you just have to focus on good nutrition
Arielle
and eating nutrition, managing it with food and not being so hard on yourself.
Angela
I love that, you know?
Arielle
Yeah.
Angela
I think as someone who, praise God, doesn't struggle with any sort of health issues, I can't even imagine what it's like to have something that inhibits your daily functioning and like decreases the quality of your life. Because when you go through those moments, like, you're not living life to the fullest quality. You know what I mean? So I just think it's so important for people, like what you said, to give yourself so much grace and. Yeah, I feel so much for people who have chronic illness and like, it's just crazy what people have to go through. It's so sad. Ari and I have never talked about PMSing on here and I just think it's like we go through so much as women and it affects our ability to live properly a lot of the time. Let's just talk about what girls may experience when they are on their period. Sudden anger or irritability. That feels completely out of proportion. Do you ever that?
Arielle
Yeah, of course.
Angela
Do you get sad?
Arielle
Yeah, I get sad. Of course I get sad. I get depressed. I get. I mean, you can get. You can have so much PMS so bad that you start to get suicidal thoughts.
Angela
I know, I know. See, that's what's so crazy about hormones and mental health and how everything is so connected. Literally every single month, I would have like two days of absolute hopelessness because I couldn't see anything outside of what I was feeling in that moment, which is what I think. We go through so much in life in general. Like, when we're in this negative emotion, we're like, has it always been this bad? And it can just like really make you feel numb, it can make you feel insecure, you feel like you're not yourself. And then something that we don't talk about is lust during ovulation. So not only do you get moody and, and sad around when you're getting your period, when you are ovulating, a lot of the time you can get a little crazy and a little lustful and your body is wanting things that if you're not married, obviously we don't partake in those things. And it can get really difficult and really confusing when you're ovulating or you're at a part of your cycle where, like, you are feeling things that you weren't feeling before and you're having lustful feelings. Thoughts.
Arielle
Yeah. You know, I mean, I want to do a whole episode, a whole updated episode on lust, because we don't do no cookie cutter Christian ease. And it's real thing. And it's a real thing that a lot of us struggle with. Even following Jesus and especially around your period. It's so intense. Yeah, it's so intense. And I can't imagine how many girls feel so condemned for the thoughts and the way they feel and sometimes stuff. Yeah. So all I can say is it's normal and you're not alone. And. Yeah, it's a struggle. Yeah, it's a struggle. It's not easy to be a woman. No, it's so much.
Angela
Yeah, it's a lot.
Arielle
That's why you men need to treat us. Really couldn't be patient with us.
Angela
Yeah. And I just think when you're having those temptations and when you're at that part of your cycle, like, you just have to protect yourself. You just have to be aware, be careful what you're looking at. Be careful what you're watching. Be careful how much time you're spending alone. If you are in bed and feeling something, get up and go for a walk. If you fling, flee. Flee, dude. If you are in a dating relationship, stay away from each other. That is like, something that, like, literally make it a point and, like, tell. Track your cycle, talk to your boyfriend and be like, I cannot be alone with you on these days. It's not safe. It's not helpful. And, like, take it really seriously. Like, this is. This is. And like Ari said, it's so normal, but it's just so important. There's so many parameters that you can put around yourself to just keep yourself safe in those moments.
Arielle
Yeah.
Angela
You know?
Arielle
Yeah.
Angela
I have to flee sometimes.
Arielle
I have to.
Angela
I'll get up and take a walk and be like, when?
Arielle
During your period?
Angela
Just in general.
Arielle
Sometimes you do. I know I have to fly.
Angela
I will say, listen, I have plenty of issues. It's the one area of my walk that I don't struggle in.
Arielle
I think that is so incredible, which
Angela
I don't want that to feel condemning
Arielle
to other people because I know so many girls who truly are suffering. Then there's some like me who I do, like, I do struggle.
Angela
It's a comfort thing, you know, I
Arielle
think it's like, yeah, it's, it's like,
Angela
where are you looking to? It's. I have other ways that I like to find comfort.
Arielle
Yeah. And being a human being.
Angela
Yeah.
Arielle
And when you're been single for a long time and you. I think as humans, we crave intimacy. Yeah. And it's not easy. And it's not easy to be a Christian. No one said it was easy. But man, when you fight off that temptation, it is so powerful. The power you like the power I feel when you fight off that temptation, it's like, oh, the best.
Angela
It's. And it's so important and it's so rewarding and it feels so victorious. So whenever I do have those moments and I defeat it and I flee, I'm just so happy afterwards.
Arielle
And in that moment when you feel like you have to just give into it, like that desire, because it feels so. It's like a rock. Like the Bible says, there is no temptation that you can't overcome, that he will not give you an escape. So.
Angela
Yes.
Arielle
So even speaking that out loud and getting up so good, like immediately, that will lose its power.
Angela
And then purity in a relationship is so, so, so, so, so, so difficult. It doesn't necessarily. And no, it is, it is difficult when you are in love and feeling things and kissing like, like it. It's so hard. And you have to take extra, extra, extra caution and don't condemn yourself if you mess up. But like, really take it seriously. Like, this matters so much. And the natural instinct for your body and your brain is to want certain things and you just have to, like, you just have to want the opposite. You know, you have to want the purity and just really be careful in relationships. Guys, I, I'm. I always say this. I feel like in any dating relationship,
Arielle
what if your Jesus is shaped more by culture than by scripture? We've created and personalized a savior who exists to meet our individual needs and bless our lives. We've made him into a life coach, a therapist for our anxiety, a political ally. That Jesus is safe, manageable, convenient. He fits comfortably into our lives without disrupting them too much. The Missing Messiah, a new book by Kyle Idleman and Mark Moore, helps us understand how Western culture has gradually reshaped Jesus into our image and recognize the difference between a personalized savior and a revolutionary king. It's about the true cost as well as the true gain when we stop treating Jesus like a spiritual accessory and start following him as the Messiah. If you believe there's a more dangerous, more majestic Messiah than the one you've inherited, visit missingmessiah.com to learn more that

any of us will ever be in when we get married one day. If there were any lines that we crossed, if there was any moments where, of course, for everybody, there are moments where you're like, oh, that was a little too much, little too far. I just feel like the day you get married, you're literally going to be like, why?
Arielle
Why?
Angela
Why did we do that? Why couldn't we have just waited?
Arielle
What?
Angela
Like, it's just so rewarding to get there and be like, man, we freaking did it. I did it. And. And I don't know if there's anything I'm more passionate about than physical purity, because it's just. It's everything. It's what our. It's what society runs on. Like, literally, the world runs on sex and physical intimacy and hooking up and feeding your body the desires that it wants. So imagine how much more we should literally run the other way from that.
Arielle
I've been thinking a lot lately how easy it is to feel disconnected from God. Not because we don't want to be close to him, but because life just gets busy and sometimes you don't even know where to start. That's honestly why I love Glorify. It gives you simple, intentional moments to reconnect throughout your day. You can start your morning with the verse of the day, and a devotional now just helps center you before everything else begins. What I've been doing lately is doing their daily walk with God. It's been such a grounding way to slow down and actually sit with Him. Then during the day, if I feel overwhelmed or distracted, I'll play one of their guided meditations or worship playlist just to reset. I was recently learning about women of faith in the Bible. And honestly, it was so refreshing to be reminded that they weren't perfect either. They're real, they've struggled, they've questioned, and God still used them in powerful ways. Ways. It's so comforting to know that. And then at night, their sleep meditations help you end the day in peace instead of stress, which we all need. Whether you've been walking with Jesus for years or you're just starting to explore your faith, glorify makes it really easy to Stay connected. Yeah, I mean, I talked to her so much about it, and she was like, it was. Was the most beautiful, the best thing that I've ever done in my life.
Angela
Wow.
Arielle
Wow. Yeah, it is. It's the most beautiful thing you could ever do. It's not easy, but, man, is it worth it?
Angela
It's so worth it. It's so worth it.
Arielle
Yeah, go ahead. No, I just. It's so important. Even when I did a question box yesterday and so many people were like, can you please talk about this? Like, I struggle with it. Like, I feel condemned about it. Like, I, I, I, I. So it's so good. We do a whole episode on it.
Angela
PMS brain and the mental health aspect of it. You can literally feel absolutely insane on your period. You can feel crazy. You can feel. I've, like, heard so many people be like, I, like, almost ruin all my relationships every single time that I'm PMSing. And it can get in the way of relationships because you don't feel like yourself and you don't feel good and everything is annoying you, and everything is. I've heard so many people describe it as, like, it just makes everything feel like every little thing is so much bigger than it needs to be. And I just think it's something that we just need to be aware of as girls, as women, and be aware of it and then not surrender to it, not use it as an excuse, like, oh, I'm PMSing, so I'm just gonna yell at everybody and not be nice. I think all of our spiritual practices come into play to other. Each taking thoughts captive, talking to people, being honest. Like, I'm having these crazy insecurities and these thoughts, and I feel so sad, and I feel so upset. And have people, if you, like, really struggle with pms, have your core people that you can go to every single month and be like, I need you to Remind me of truth. I'm not feeling good. This thing feels so much bigger. Is it real or is it my pms? And just give yourself so much grace. Let your body rest. This is something that I really struggle with. Our bodies need different things at different times in our cycles. Like when you're ovulating, you are on it, you're excited, you're feeling good, you're feeling good on life. When you're at the part of your cycle that you're about to PMS. And then when you're PMSing, you need different things, you're losing iron. You will be deficient in things that you are not in other parts of your cycle. You can't just run 100% like you do when you're ovulating when you're on your period. So I struggle with that so much because I'm like, I want to go 100% all the time when really you have to let your body rest. You don't need to push yourself to go to the gym when your body is literally begging you to rest and just relax and eating the right foods for the part of your cycle that you're at like eating steak or red meat or things that are full of iron when you're on your period. I just think as a society we're so out of tune with our bodies and I'm like guilty of that at times. And I just think it's so important to listen to your body and rest when you need to.
Arielle
Yeah, of course. And, and I'll say one more thing like about the way we're eating and you can absolutely reverse like your, what's going on in your body. Like I, I truly feel like I'm to going, going to be completely healed from pcos. I haven't felt sick, bloated, nothing since. Just simply changing the way my lifestyle, my eating habits, exercise. We, we don't realize how important it is. Sometimes we can be so caught up and just like bed rotting, like that's a thing now in this generation. Bed rotting, phone rotting. I am guilty of it so much. Like it's one of the things that I'm really working on sometimes. Like, and so instead of sitting with Jesus, I'm like my, the way I feel my nervous system will calm is like being on my phone and scrolling aimlessly. And if we can just take these steps of like getting up, getting exercise, getting in the sun. Yeah, I, I, I'm on class pass. You are too. I don't know if you guys have ever heard of that, but it like, really puts me on schedule. I just go on this app and I find a class that I like so I can do all different classes. I love to do Pilates. I love to stretch my body, and I love to run and I love to walk on the beach and I love. It's so like to. You have to work out. You no matter what, you have to get exercise. Like, I, I wasn't a huge fitness girl.
Angela
Yeah.
Arielle
I would work out, like, you know, here and now and then. But it's become such a huge part of my life and it's, it's really change my life. And I know how hard it is to work out when you're going through something. I know. It was really hard for me to, to work out when I was battling. But, yeah, exercise, we have, we have to constantly exercise. It's going to change your life. And really just. We have to get healthy too. All of us, we have to change our eating habits. It's okay to, like, you know, have a cheeseburger or whatever, but we can't be eating like crap all the time. No. Yeah. If you're, if you're wondering why you're constantly depressed, fatigue, tired, you have to look at your eating habits. It's really important. I don't think we talk about the way we eat enough.
Angela
Yes. And, you know, sugar actually makes me a little bit depressed.
Arielle
Yeah.
Angela
Like, when I have. You always noticed that about me. After I have sugar, I have like a mood issue. I become sad. I become. It doesn't make me feel good. And people can be a little bit like, I eat the sugar to me, but I'm like, no, no, you don't understand. Like, it genuinely makes me not feel good after I eat it. So I don't want to do that to myself, even though I love it, but it's just not worth it. And so if you're like, yeah, of course if you're drinking, like, I know so many people who struggle so severely with their mental health who literally drink like five Cokes a day and eat horribly. And I'm like, dude, can you imagine if you just fix up your diet how much better you would feel?
Arielle
Yeah.
Angela
And I know that not everybody has the resources to, like, get everything organic and, and have the best food and have high quality meat. Like, I totally understand that. You can just work with what you do have.
Arielle
Of course you can.
Angela
You can work with what you do have and make consciously healthy decisions. And. And I'm speaking to myself because I. It's probably, it's 3 o'. Clock, and I haven't eaten today, and I don't feel good. So it's like, we all just have so much. Yeah. We have so much say in how we feel.
Arielle
Yeah. And we do.
Angela
Yeah. We. A lot of us, me included, we resort to, oh, I don't feel good. Oh, my mental health. Oh, this, oh, that. When it's just like, are we treating ourselves well? Are we genuinely treating our bodies like a holy temple where the Holy Spirit resides in to function at optimal capacity? I know I don't a lot of the time, and I feel it and I suffer for it. And so, yeah, it's just so important, guys, to put really good things in your body and give yourself so much grace. Oh. When I went to Albania, I will never forget, but it's just not like that. You here. It's so hard. We have it. So. When I went to Albania for the first time, I have never felt better in my life. I was eating pounds of meat every single day, pounds of fruits. I was eating, like, 15 fruits. Like, I was eating three times as much as I do here. And I've never felt lighter and better and more energetic. And I did. I. And, like, I was glowing. I will never. And the second I got back to America, I literally probably had, like, a bowl of oatmeal, I don't know. And I immediately felt, like, so heavy and so. It's so hard.
Arielle
It is hard. Yeah. And I love that you talked about rest, because a lot of us are caught, like, someone like me. I feel like I have to go, go, go. I got to the point where I didn't even know how to rest.
Angela
Yeah.
Arielle
Another story that happened to me recently is I. When I was in Florida, there was this little garden with this little stream, and I went into the garden. It was the most beautiful thing. I took my Bible and I sat down and I opened up my Bible and I just started to read it, and I just felt this wave of tiredness come over me. So I lay down, and all of a sudden, I'm dozing off, and I hear myself saying, he makes me lay down in green pastures. He walks me beside still water. He restores my soul. I started saying that over and over again. And then I went in a deep sleep. Wow. And I woke up probably 30 minutes later, and I'm, like, lying down in this garden with this stream. Wow. And I just felt so refreshed. And I had been my head down, just going, going, going. And it was just, like, such a good reminder that rest is so good. Like, we re. Like, we don't. We don't realize how much we need to rest. Like, we don't always have to be on the go. We don't always have to be work, work, work. I know some of us all of. And work hard and. And get up early and do our thing, but rest is so crucial.
Angela
I love that you say that so much. I can't believe Psalm 23 actually came to life in your life. He actually led you in a green pasture besides still water.
Arielle
It's. It's. That's insane because that's been my scripture that I stood on for three years. Literally. That is my scripture that I repeat. I've memorized it. I repeat it out loud in a hard time when I need rest. And so, yeah, I thought that was. That was one of my. That's so cute. It was really sweet.
Angela
I know I've had moments the past few months of I'll be like, on my couch in the middle of the day, and there's a million things that I could be doing. And I choose to lay, have the Bible in front of me, read a little bit, and then close my eyes and be like, I am truly resting with Jesus right now. He's with me. And. And it's like, we take a nap. I'll literally go, jesus, let's take a nap together. And we'll, like, literally take a nap together. But it feels more restful. It's like an intentional. I am resting with God right now. There's so many ways to rest like that, to, like, literally set it aside. A time where you're just gonna lay down, close your eyes, and say, God, this is like me spending time with you right now.
Arielle
Yeah. That's honestly been what my season has looked like. A lot of the times with God is resting with him. Sometimes I'll be praying and I'll fall asleep, and I don't feel bad about it. And I wake up and I have this. I'm refreshed, you know, And I love that I did that actually yesterday I was like, went down to worship and I just laid. I. And I just worshiped and slept and woke up. And sometimes that's what it looks like to spend time with God.
Angela
Yeah.
Arielle
But I just want to let you guys know, whatever. It doesn't have to pcos you. A lot of so many people have endometriosis. What you said earlier, you. You feel for people that deal with chronic illnesses. So many people, especially us, going to all these touring and meeting so many women with chronic illnesses and what they're suffering from. There's just PCOS is just something I'm going through. But you guys are battling so many different things. And I can't believe how close Jesus has been to me through this journey of my PCOS to make you guys laugh. I didn't know what PCOS was when I went to the doctors, and she was a very serious woman. And you guys know me, I'm like, hypochondriac. And I'm by myself in this doctor's office, and she does an ultrasound on me, and she comes back in and she looks at me and she says, well, you've been diagnosed with pcos. I had no idea what it was. Was. I look at this woman, I grab her, I go, what? I go, how much time do I have? Seriously, how much time do I have? Just tell me this is a real story. And she goes, what? I was like, Seriously? I was like, am I going to. Like, what do I have to do? And she was like, the least comforting woman ever. And she looked at me like I had five. I've had.
Angela
It is the Buzari story I have ever heard in my life.
Arielle
It's, like, ridiculous. But it's still. When we go through these things, when we have any type of illness, Lyme disease. Yeah, anything like it is, it's really scary and it's really hard to deal with. And we go through a lot, and it's. You feel very isolated, you feel alone. You feel like, am I ever going to be healed? Is this. It's when your health is corrupted. That's why every day I'm like, jesus, thank you for my health. But I can't believe how close Jesus has been to me through this. And I'm sure that you guys have so many stories of how close he's been with you. And then it just brings me back to that, to the woman with the blood issue. How she went through 12 years of suffering and bleeding, and then she tried every doctor and remembered but Jesus. Jesus. And all she had to do, she didn't have to strive. She didn't have to do anything. She just had to reach her hand out.
Angela
We at GGB believe in the miraculous healing of Jesus Christ by the blood of the Lamb and the power of the Holy Spirit by the stripes on Jesus's back. The blood that was spilled can cover your illness. And so do not stop praying for whatever it is that's in your body. And you take your body, body into captivity and make it obedient to Christ. I always take 2 Corinthians 10:5. And I make it not just about my mind, but I say, you know what? I'm going to apply it to my body, too. Whatever's in me that is not obeying Christ right now, stop in the name of Jesus. Be obedient to Christ, whatever is wrong in your body. We have so many testimonies at GGB shows where we pray for people. It has nothing to do with me and Ari. It's the power of Jesus that heals people through humans. If you're watching this and you're sick yourself or you know somebody that's sick, you get somebody to lay hands on you and pray for you in full faith that you will be healed.
Arielle
Yeah. And I have to tell you, I used to be, before my faith, I used to be so scared of pcos and wondering, can I have children? All these things. I'm not scared at all.
Angela
Yes.
Arielle
Like, I know the God we serve, and I don't want you guys to be scared either, because just like you said, the blood of Jesus. I never stopped praying for myself. I, I what? One thing I do is I'll put my hands over my womb and I'll plead the blood of Jesus over my womb. I'll pray for myself. You, you, you, you never stop praying. This is what faith looks like. And this is. There's testimony after testimony in the Bible of sicknesses being healed of Jesus coming and healing sicknesses. And why can't he do that for you?
Angela
That's literally what he did in his life. Like, when Jesus was alive. He spent his time, time eating with his disciples and the people that he loved, and then he spent his time healing the sick.
Arielle
Yeah. Yeah. And then there's some times where we don't see, you know, we don't see healings, but there is a testimony in that, too. There really is. Yeah. There's been so many testimonies I've seen at the shows where they weren't healed, but, man, do they shine his light and help so many people. People through what they went through.
Angela
Yeah.
Arielle
While, yes, it was horrible what happened. I hear so many testimonies of people being like, it was the best thing that ever happened to me. Wow. It was the best thing that ever could have happened to me. I can't believe how many people I get to help through it.
Angela
Wow.
Arielle
Yeah.
Angela
And to go off of what Ari is saying, you guys also. So you pray for healing with full faith that you will be healed. And if you're not, this isn't to put a band aid on something like that. I mean, there are so many people who have the gift of healing. Who. I. I know so many leaders and pastors and I've heard so many stories of people who have the legitimate gift of healing. Like they hold healing conferences and they are. Have a reputation of praying for healing and cancer being gone and bodies being restored and, and all that stuff. And. And then their spouse gets cancer and dies. It doesn't make any sense. It doesn't make any sense. So we have to focus on the things that we can comprehend. And it's that Jesus is a healer. He wants to heal. It's his will to heal. And sometimes for some reason it doesn't. He doesn't. And when he doesn't, again, it's not to put a band aid on it. But like I think about when Paul talks about the thorn in his flesh, he. He asked the Lord three times to take his away. Three times, he said, but like, if anyone was close to God, it was Paul. And he asked him three times to take it away. And God said, my grace is sufficient for you. My power is made perfect in your weakness. And then Paul says, therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weakness, because when I am weak, then I am strong. I'm standing on that a lot this season. Not for physical purposes, but for mental. Sometimes you have a thorn in your flesh, and the call of God on your life is to live a life that's full of joy and peace regardless of your circumstance. And that's. We all, you know, are on a journey towards that. But that's what we strive to do every day, is to live a life regardless of what our circumstances look like. To look for peace, to look for joy and, and, yeah, keep on keeping on. And you're really not alone.
Arielle
You're really not alone. And this life is here today, gone tomorrow. But we have eternity and full bliss with Jesus. So this is just a small part of it, of what you're going through.
Angela
And in heaven you will have a new body that's completely restored. That's right, completely restored. Thank God.
Arielle
And our purpose here is to. To know Jesus and make him known. And make him known and love and serve his people. We pray for the sick, we be bold in our faith. We lay hands on the sick. And we never stop helping people and praying for people so good. This is James 5:13, suffering hardships. You should pray. Are any of you happy? You should sing praises. Are any of you sick? You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray. Over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord. Faith will heal the sick and the Lord will make you well. And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven. That's another thing that I actually have done quite often is when I will call the elders of the church. I will go to church, I will have them pray for us.
Angela
You've been really good about that for a long time now.
Arielle
Yes, I will put people in chains. Will you pray for me for this? It's so important. This is the scripture says it right here. Are any of you sick to you should call on the elders of the church to come and pray over you. Have people pray over you. Have people lay hands on you, have your friends lay hands on you. We all have the power to heal each other.
Angela
Yeah.
Arielle
Yeah.
Angela
So good.
Arielle
Yeah, so good.
Angela
R you guys. Be with Jesus. Spend time with Jesus. If you're watching this and you feel like you have lost your zeal a little bit or you've lost your faith fire, it's totally okay. We've been there. And you know what we do? We just go back to the source over and over and over again.
