But the older you get and the more you live your own life in your own home. Especially if you're alone or just with your partner or whatever, you go back to your parents and it's a lot.

And so like I go home and like when I woke up I said to my brother like I expect to see you every minute on Saturday. And he was like, challenge accepted, bitch. Like we went to brunch at 9am and we did not brunch, break brunch. Another brunch club we did not break from at the hang until 11 o' clock at night. And it was continuous like talking. And then we have my sister in law's family and it was just like everyone's like eating and drinking and talking and the baby, the baby, the baby. I mean I, I was overstimmied and I was like, I know I requested this and I regret it.

I hate a loud tv. I really, I think I'm becoming more sensitive to sound as I get older.

Thanks. Yeah. If you're new here, I shot this last year after a 43 show tour. Three weeks before my wedding. I was fully crashing out. You can't tell. I seem calm and composed, but it was like a crash out mode. And it was the best time of my life. And I wish I was crashing out every day like that, but it was really wonderful. That was the best night of my life professionally. And yes, it looks so beautiful. I was sharing just photos with another comic the other night when I told him where I filmed it, which was the City Winery here in New York. And he was like, I've. I can't even believe what they did to the place. So I cannot wait for you. Guys to see it and the whole look and feel and. And I'll share more. I mean, as we go and the week it launches, I'll share some more maybe about the journey and some of the thank yous and the people who really made it possible. I mean, just such a huge team of people. The real stuff, like from your life. And so the team that edited it did it perfectly. And Ryan shot our videographer shot the wedding footage. So there's footage from him in there. I've. I. Do you think I saw this more or he saw this more? I was trying to think, who came on the road with you a little bit more and probably him. But the night that you shot the special, I watched it from the audience with Andrew the first time. Me, Andrew and Shashank up in the balcony. And then the second time around, I watched it Backstage. And it was fun to have like both of those experiences. And I mean, I was pretty drunk the second time, but it was just like such a special night and the vibe was so great and I just, I truly can't wait for people to see this. I feel like I'm such a special historian. Like I've seen every special that exists on every stream or every platform. Everyone, but a lot.

And I just. You have. I think you watch more comedy specials than anyone I know besides like some weird incel in the basement with like as far as a cool girl, like a normal person. A normal person who comes up out of the basement. Comedy special historian. I look turn to you for advice because you've seen them all.

Have they been a thing. I just thought we were doing like Easter candy. I thought like Cadbury eggs and like peeps and things like that. I did not know we were doing animal cakes. Kind of creep me out. You got to cut the head off.

I forget Carvel, I think Carvel, because I did work with them years, years, years ago, sent me a gritty cake. Gritty the master. I know about this. I don't think you were there that Christmas. They. I can't remember. They sent me a cake of gritty, and it looked like gritty who's kind of scary looking anyway, in a fun, funny way. And then it started to melt. It was terrifying. And I still took a picture with it. I was had to post content with it. I was like, my dad didn't put it in the freezer. It's melted a little bit. And they were like, they were like, that's kind of funny. I'll. I'll post it.

So this was a festival in no shock, Florida. It's a company that licensed the name Barbie from Mattel. And they put on this like Barbie Dreamfast. And it's supposed to be this like really cute festival for children. And it is a disaster. I mean, it is just a big concrete, I don't know, convention center. And the main color of Barbie obviously is pink. There's like three pink things in this whole room. The whole floor is concrete. The tickets for this dream festered at 69. That should have been your first tip off. A 69 ticket for child's Festival.

After scandal, she checked to a mental institution for months. And so I would never encourage anybody to do that. However, no one would know about this if Amanda Petula and Wes Wilson weren't on Instagram stories every single day, dancing around, drinking, eating. And you and I have a lot of mutual friends with them. And so I started to notice before I even heard this, they're just together a lot. They're dancing around a lot, like, just being goofy together. And the Instagram stories I noticed them on are these accounts that are not small account people that are verified with millions of followers. And even if they weren't hooking up with each other, if I'm Ciara and I'm like, my very close friend and my ex who did me so dirty are just being goofy on the Internet together, I have a real problem with that. Nobody would know about this if they hadn't been being, like, silly and goofy. And then people started asking questions and getting in the comments and saying, what's going on here? And Andy Cohen is asking Kyle and West, and they put out the feelers. Other than sleeping together, they weren't that secretive about this. Yeah, I think that they were actually, like, teasing this kind of a lot. They were being a little careless, like, I dare you to catch us kind of. And I don't think they were trying to, but this is not two people that kept this really private. And so to be like, you know, think about her mental health, of course, but. And she's not saying think about my mental health, but you can't do something to somebody that is really, really terrible and deplorable. And then Claim mental health.

I mean, I'm half kidding. But, like, the way they made this statement, I still can't believe it. Who approved this? Who let them do this in this way? They made it so much more serious. Like, it could have been done so differently. It could have been like, we slipped up and we hooked up and I'm so sorry. Like, why did they do it like this? Like, why did they do this joint Black background, white statement. We're seeing where the relationship goes. It wasn't that apologetic. It was this huge announcement. I still can't get over the way that it. They did this. I thought they'd be smarter than that. I mean, I don't think they're that smart. I mean, Amanda Betula has been on the show for a decade. How does she not know what would have happened here? And anyone saying, like, this is all planned and orchestrated, it's not. It's. It's not. I mean, it's just not. It's just not. We've talked to so many people that know them that this wasn't. And, like, you wish it was because it would have been done differently. Like, we hold women to a higher standard, right? Like, I do expect more for women. I have more respect for women. When a woman disappoints you, it hurts worse because you didn't see it coming. So I understand why we feel this way, but I just, like, want us all to check, ourselves, us included, of why we don't afford women the same grace we afford men and why we crucify women so much more. And I just don't want us to let this vitriol for this woman overpower the ways we should be holding men accountable. Like, women just don't get the passes that men get. Like, Kanye is selling out stadiums. Louis CK Sold out Madison Square Garden. Like, when this happens to women, they wear this scarlet letter forever. Like, Beyonce could never do an ounce of what Kanye has done. No woman comedian could come back Like, Louis CK Crystalia on tour again. I know, and it took a while, but he is back. And, like, I'm all for forgiveness and giving people second chances, especially if you love their art. There's a line for me, for sure, like, we don't need to get into this world, but there's something that doesn't matter how much I love your music. Like Diddy, for example, what you've done netfar again, like, you're off my. My Spotify for life, R. Kelly, et cetera. But I just think we as women all need to check our internalized misogyny. And we can also care about pop culture and what's going on in the world. I'm not a person that's like, how can you care so much about this but don't care about this? That's never gonna be me. And as soon as this happened, I went to Amanda's page and I looked. I went to West's page, and I was looking at the comments on both of their posts, and hers were so full of vitriol and hate. And I think, of course, so many women look at this, and they're like, this is my worst nightmare. And they overrelate to it, and it's the worst thing they could ever imagine. And, yes, we hold women to higher standards. Men are supposed to be cheaters and scumbags and liars and manipulators. But I looked at his comments, and I was like, there just aren't that many. And I was really shocked by it. And I think it's really interesting. Cause in Kyle's little man on the street thing, he brings this up and he says, you know, I went to West Page, and he's getting 50,000 followers. Kyle is also complaining about a system that also has rewarded him because Kyle has also been on television for a decade, verbally abusing his wife last week, calling her a stupid fucking bitch on national television. And lover boy is selling out across the country. So it's fascinating to me how quickly we forget that, like, exactly what this man is doing. I mean, people slutted lover boy, bought it out, sold it out. This man was terrible to his wife on television. And we just kept watching. We rewarded him with more contracts, more scenes. By the way, what they did to Hannah Burner, I get, like, so mad about it when I think about it. And he says, you know, go easy on Amanda, which I agree with. But did you guys go easy on Hannah when you got her kicked off the show and you terrorized her in the press? And that's just. You know, Ashley and I love Hannah, and we care about her, we're friends with her. But, like, to watch what they did to her in the press and just gas people up and do interviews about how terrible she is. Hannah also didn't do anything so terrible.
