This week on the Snack Barbie nightmare Fest, a Ferrari hard launch and the summer house drama continues.
B
This is a Dear Media production.
A
Enjoy.
B
Hi guys.
A
We gotta say hi. I asked people, do you miss the high? And they were like fuck yes. We only missed it once and it was on a snack. We would never miss a high, guys. On a Monday that's like never happened in the history of time.
B
Once in a blue moon I will forget what my cue is. You know, I'm like hi guys. And then I forget the next line. It does happen to me. Once in a blue moon.
A
We are tired.
B
I don't know why. It's like we were, we went to
A
bed early, you know, hot take. It's hard to sleep not in your own bed. You know at this point this is what I do when I come to the east coast. I'm in like my parents house, my brother's house, hotel room in New York. That's. It's a lot of beds and I love bus. Another bus. Yeah. Parents pull out couch.
B
I just, I do. You feel like you are. I get overstimmied in New York. I can't sleep. I stay up super late and I wake up up late.
A
I thought you were gonna say at your parents house. And there's like a whole tick tock overstimulated your parents house over the holidays. I saw so much content about this of just being overstimulated. When you're used to living on your own in your own quiet or whatever you have going on in your house. And you get to your parents house and my parents TV is. It's not on all the time, but when it's on it's out of 12.
B
You have 18 cats.
A
There's so many animals like I got in this tick tock hole of people feeling they love their parents, they want to be with their parents. But the older you get and the more you live your own life in your own home. Especially if you're alone or just with your partner or whatever, you go back to your parents and it's a lot.
B
It is nonstop talking. I mean and especially like you and me, like we live really far from our families. And so like I go home and like when I woke up I said to my brother like I expect to see you every minute on Saturday. And he was like, challenge accepted, bitch. Like we went to brunch at 9am and we did not brunch, break brunch. Another brunch club we did not break from at the hang until 11 o' clock at night. And it was continuous like talking. And then we have my sister in law's family and it was just like everyone's like eating and drinking and talking and the baby, the baby, the baby. I mean I, I was overstimmied and I was like, I know I requested this and I regret it.
A
I hate a loud tv. I really, I think I'm becoming more sensitive to sound as I get older.
B
Like and my been always sensitive to
A
sound, but it's just my dad's hearing, you know, it's gotta be up. Like I was like, mom, you have to turn down the tv. I can't like live. Like I'd rather hear the my nephew screaming than a TV at like a 15.
B
Okay, you and I aren't TV at home people.
A
That's exactly.
B
We're not background noise TV people.
A
100%.
B
Sometimes I just realize I've been sitting in silence for an hour and I'm like, I should set a vibe. Yeah, well, you live with somebody.
A
Tv, no TV during dinner. Like I'm that bitch.
B
I don't. Do you think that's of a different generation? I can't like imagine somebody like any of our friends turning the TV on
A
during din to eat dinner in front of the TV all the time when you lived alone.
B
Yeah, that's different though. There's somebody with you.
A
Exactly. Like, I'm like, we're going to take a break and we're going to dine.
B
I know because I don't hear from you from like 6pm to 8pm I know dinner music. I know Shashank has walked in the door because I don't hear from you for two hours.
A
Okay, let's say our partners then. We have a big announcement today, you guys.

B

A
I don't know more details.
B
Okay, we have a. Well, not we. You have a.
A
No, we have.
B
I was there. I was there. You have a huge announcement. I'm just. Without further ado, I just, I feel really emotional. I'm very excited to talk about it.
A
I am announcing my special. I did already announce it on social media. Variety got the exclusive over Girls Gotta Eat podcast. But I am so excited to announce that my special Here Comes the Bride will premiere on April 30th and it will be a live YouTube experience. So someone in the comments just wrote, how was this live if it was pre taped? And I'm like, fair question. So it is live in that it will feel like a live event and I will be in the chat, which is something I'm so excited to do. I love this community, having an interactive experience with you guys. And so that will be on April 30, 8pm Eastern, 5pm Pacific, early for the west coast. And then it will be on prime video on May 1st.
B
I'm just, I feel like I'm going to cry. I'm so like, I'm so excited people to see this. Like you traveled all year. Last year you did 43 shows. I was there for both tapings of this. I can't believe how beautiful it looks. I can, because you put a lot of time and money and work into it and like, it really shows. I visually is one of the most beautiful specials I've ever seen. Like, it just, it looks like it looks expensive and the actual content and art behind it, the jokes, the storytelling, it's just, it's so special. It's so unique and different. I just, I can't wait for other people to see it. Congratulations. And you've worked really a long time, really hard for this.
A
Thanks. Yeah. If you're new here, I shot this last year after a 43 show tour. Three weeks before my wedding. I was fully crashing out. You can't tell. I seem calm and composed, but it was like a crash out mode. And it was the best time of my life. And I wish I was crashing out every day like that, but it was really wonderful. That was the best night of my life professionally. And yes, it looks so beautiful. I was sharing just photos with another comic the other night when I told him where I filmed it, which was the City Winery here in New York. And he was like, I've. I can't even believe what they did to the place. So I cannot wait for you. Guys to see it and the whole look and feel and. And I'll share more. I mean, as we go and the week it launches, I'll share some more maybe about the journey and some of the thank yous and the people who really made it possible. I mean, just such a huge team of people. And Don't Tell comedy produced it. Kyle from Don't Tell was the director, executive produced by Andrew Russell of wme, a close personal friend. And my goal was just to have as many people as possible be able to watch this. I want to share it with the world. I don't want it to be hard to access. And so having it for free on YouTube, having the live experience and then also on Prime Video, so one of the major streamers, biggest in the us, some would say subscriber wise. So I really just want it to be accessible to everybody. And, you know, if you have YouTube Premium or Prime Premium, you can watch without commercials, which is the experience I would like you to have. But whatever you guys want to do, there's multiple ways to watch it. And it's really about the last three years of my life. I mean, this. My journey to end up with my husband, but dating before him and moving to LA and my feelings on marriage and not having kids and moving in with him and the things that happen in sex, of course. And Raina's a part of it, obviously. She's a big part of the sex part.
B
I'm a big part of the sex part.
A
Yeah. We reveal our threesome. No, the wedding night and my family. And there's real footage from my wedding.
B
I've never seen anybody do that before.
A
Yeah, I mean, I. One comic who I really look up to in terms of his comedy incorporated real footage from his life. And I thought it was the coolest thing. And I'd already wanted to do that. And I was like, okay, someone's. Yeah, I could have been the first that I've known of, but the way he did it, I was like, okay, I think people want this. I think they wanna see the. The real stuff, like from your life. And so the team that edited it did it perfectly. And Ryan shot our videographer shot the wedding footage. So there's footage from him in there. There's this really special surprise at the end because make sure you watch it all the way to the end. And. Yeah, I will. I'll drop the link soon for that YouTube premiere, but those are the dates. So April 30th, May 1st, save the date. And the trailer is coming soon. And I'LL just keep promoting it. You're not sick of it?
B
The trailer. I was, like, taking a walk. I was like, I'm about to run through a wall. This is so good. It's just. It's so incredible.
A
Anna, our editor, is in the room with us today. And Anna did the trailer and it was such a. We're on version 13.
B
That's very you. That's very you.
A
But it's like, it has to be perfect. And it's like we really got there. Trailers are hard, and I wish they were real. They're real skill with the music and all the things.
B
I mean, people specifically, that's their one skill set.
A
And people don't. Yeah. And so what I asked was like, I don't do them and I'm not doing it. Mistakes are tough and I'll help where I can, but I'm not doing that.
B
True. Well, it's like shooting somebody's wedding almost. It's like you don't really have, like, one shot to get this right. Yeah. One opportunity.
A
One opportunity. I do the line in this special. If you would. One shot.
B
Would you take it or let it slip away?
A
Yeah. Forget it. I can't.
B
I can't.
A
We're over. Forgetting the special's over. I don't remember that shit.
B
Do you think you could do. The hour starts with.
A
I have had that thought and I. Maybe it does start to come back. I'm still doing some bits here and there in different ways when I'm doing shows, but I don't know if I. I haven't done it since October.
B
You might forget a tag or two, but I bet you could do it.
A
I think I might forget the flow. Once I get going on the joke, it all comes back to me. But the, like, what comes next? You just go blank. Biggest fear in comedy.
B
I just. I hear you doing bits in my head all the time, so I. So I copy you all the time. Like, I just hear it.
A
But you've heard it too many times. Honestly. In the same way Shashank and he'll say stuff like the. From the special. Like, you guys just. You shouldn't have had to be exposed that much.
B
I've. I. Do you think I saw this more or he saw this more? I was trying to think, who came on the road with you a little bit more and probably him. But the night that you shot the special, I watched it from the audience with Andrew the first time. Me, Andrew and Shashank up in the balcony. And then the second time around, I watched it Backstage. And it was fun to have like both of those experiences. And I mean, I was pretty drunk the second time, but it was just like such a special night and the vibe was so great and I just, I truly can't wait for people to see this. I feel like I'm such a special historian. Like I've seen every special that exists on every stream or every platform. Everyone, but a lot.
A
And I just. You have. I think you watch more comedy specials than anyone I know besides like some weird incel in the basement with like as far as a cool girl, like a normal person. A normal person who comes up out of the basement. Comedy special historian. I look turn to you for advice because you've seen them all.
B
The set design was beautiful. The way it shot is beautiful.
A
It's like a movie.
B
I mean, obviously the content is amazing, but like, the experience of watching it is so great. You look so beautiful. I'm just really excited for people to see that.
A
Well, thanks. Oh my God. Yes. And obviously rain is such a big part of it and it really was the, the best night. And this, we talked about this hair fixing moment that we need to like, you guys will see at some point on our social media. That's like some behind the scenes stuff
B
and you're doing some really fun press also leading up to this. What day are you on Page Six radio? Remind me.
A
It would have been today as this airs. Okay, so Page Six Radio today, that's live on Sirius. There'll be more. Yeah, you guys just, you know, watch the space.
B
Watch the space.
A
Okay, well, thank you guys for being along on the ride. I get really emotional. I think about like our audience and just like it's. All I care about is that you guys like it. You know, like, if people are like, don't know me or don't know my story and they don't like it. You have bad taste, but like, you don't get it. And it's, it's not for you. I think it's for everybody. I really think it's wonderful. Like, who doesn't love love and jokes and all the things. And I think it's. I think the content's amazing. Obviously I'm proud of it, but it's just like our audience, like, when I think about them being a part of this. And that's why I wanted to do the interactive element too. Like, that's what makes me like, really emotional and just all the support over the years, like, again, like, you guys are the ones that matter.
B
You guys just tune in every Week and you've been along for the journey. I mean, I can't tell you how many people I run into on the street. I'm talking to the audience.
A
You, the plural.
B
You that say like, I've listened since 2018, since 2019. I've been through every breakup with you guys, every success, every failure, every everything. And like, to know that people have been along for the ride for all three years of this relationship and like, to get to watch it in another form is really special. I think people feel like a real connection to that.
A
Yeah. So it's for you guys. So I hope you love it. Save the date. Okay, let's get into our report. We have a special one today. We have a nightmare report. Some would say nightmare fuel report this thing.
B
You actually the first one. You introduced me this morning. And you know what's weird? Like, do you ever see something on your feed and you scroll past it a couple times and then somebody says something to you about it and you're like, what? How did I ignore this?
A
Like, I need to revisit it?
B
Yes. So the headline is Detroit Bakery Easter lamb cake has the Internet gagging. I mean this bakery in Detroit gagging
A
in a couple like gagging. Like shocked, but gagging. Like dry heaving. But also they want it. It's a viral sensation. This Easter lamb cake that they put out as a April Fool's prank. Did you know lamb cakes were a thing? Is this the first you're hearing of them? Cuz I. I didn't.
B
Have they been a thing. I just thought we were doing like Easter candy. I thought like Cadbury eggs and like peeps and things like that. I did not know we were doing animal cakes. Kind of creep me out. You got to cut the head off.
A
But we eat animals, so it's like,
B
yeah, but I'll look at the head. That's true. I like, I don't want a whole fish served.
A
Nope, nope.
B
I don't like watching a pig roast. I don't like.
A
I don't same the animal head.
B
I don't want to see the face
A
of it, but I'm fine with a cake. Like it's. Is this cake.
B
You guys, you guys go to YouTube or Spotify and watch this.
A
So this Detroit, obviously. Detroit. We love Detroit. Shout out to Detroit. They did this as a prank and it's so hideous. It's so terrifying. But like kind of ugly cute. This lamb cake and people are like, I want it, I need it.
B
It has fucked up teeth. The eyes are pointing in different directions. All of the frosting is cracked where
A
it's from the streets. So people were like, I need it. People love that shit. Like, ugly, ugly, hot. So people were like, I want that cake. And then I just think that this. Again, we talked about. We'll talk about on Monday how Easter was on steroids this year, but this is even more proof. So then I just started seeing a lot of content about Easter lamb cakes. And especially, I feel like maybe people who aren't Christian are like, what the fuck are these Christians doing with these lamb cakes? And there's such a range. Like, we'll post this one reel that I found of, like, which Easter lamb cake are you? Like, they can look really cute and nice and not scary. And then they can look like this. And so there's a real spectrum. So check this out. If you guys are watching on YouTube and shout to that bakery. I don't think.
B
I mean, this clearly didn't do what they thought it was going to do. I would see this and be like, I must have this.
A
I must terrify the googly eyes.
B
It's. Those teeth are worse than Azul's.
A
No, this is like, if a zoologist was a cake and he was on crack and I had never rescued him, this is what he would look like on the streets. This is what he looked like the day I fostered him.
B
But, like, the first day I got.
A
I know, no. Cause he was all, like, muscled and smelled the day I got Azul as Tafos Foster, quote, unquote. We went and sat in the patio till the groomer was ready to take him in for a bath. I couldn't even smell him. I was like, what is wrong with this animal? Like, there's no way I'm keeping him. He's disgusting. He's this cake and.
B
But he's so desirable now. Like, that cake. I would be like, I have to have that cake. Like, I'm not doing, like, a sweet lamb. Like, you know, just, like, doesn't scare the kids kind of cake. This. This lamb will scare every child in the neighborhood.
A
That's so funny. Like, I would fuck with my kids like that. Like, I'd be like, happy birthday. Scream for this. The one time this. Who sent it to me? I forget Carvel, I think Carvel, because I did work with them years, years, years ago, sent me a gritty cake. Gritty the master. I know about this. I don't think you were there that Christmas. They. I can't remember. They sent me a cake of gritty, and it looked like gritty who's kind of scary looking anyway, in a fun, funny way. And then it started to melt. It was terrifying. And I still took a picture with it. I was had to post content with it. I was like, my dad didn't put it in the freezer. It's melted a little bit. And they were like, they were like, that's kind of funny. I'll. I'll post it.
B
That's what this looks like. It looks like a lamb melted.
A
Yes. Yes. Okay, so next on the Nightmare Report is Barbie Dreamfest turned out to be a nightmare.
B
So this was a festival in no shock, Florida. It's a company that licensed the name Barbie from Mattel. And they put on this like Barbie Dreamfast. And it's supposed to be this like really cute festival for children. And it is a disaster. I mean, it is just a big concrete, I don't know, convention center. And the main color of Barbie obviously is pink. There's like three pink things in this whole room. The whole floor is concrete. The tickets for this dream festered at 69. That should have been your first tip off. A 69 ticket for child's Festival.
A
Something's going wrong.
B
I mean, nothing was going right at this festival. And tickets went up to like as high as 449. With a 50 coupon to pay more money to get other things like photos there. And this is so shocking to me because like after Fire Festival and like the Willy Wonka Festival, like how could you possibly conceive of putting this on if you're. People were saying, like we showed up at the festival starting time and the vendors were still arriving and setting up.
A
Okay, so it was just super disorganized and chaotic anyway, besides esthetically a nightmare.
B
Horrifying. Yes. It looked like, I don't know, just like a parking lot with some pink in it. But like the fact that you did not just cancel this festival.
A
I know. I wonder what attendance was like. I mean, a festival gone wrong is my pop culture porn category. Like I saw this and I was like, hell yeah, I'm sad for this. I mean, obviously if I Fire Festival. But the Willy Wonka Fest, if you guys don't remember, we talked about it. This was in Glasgow, right?
B
I don't remember.
A
People called the cops. Like kids were crying. Like kids were scared. They got taken out of their crying. The police showed up. It was so bad. So I live for this. It looks like the most low budget expo. Like even there's. When they're walking in, you know, you can tell you're Just in like a hotel. The carpet there's like a balloon arch. Like nothing was pink like you said. It's just the room is too big.
B
It looks like a dystopian society.
A
Yes. Like it really, it looks like a tour of a Barbie manufacturing facility. Like, it looks like a warehouse. It looks like, here's where we make the Barbies and like, kids shouldn't be in here.
B
You know what?
A
It does make me a hard hat tour for Barbie.
B
It does. Like you're going to go into the factory now.
A
It looks like the literal warehouse.
B
It just, it makes me sad cuz, like, people's kids really look forward to this and they were so excited. Also, these are very expensive tickets and like to show up as a little girl. And this is what the experience is.
A
And this is the problem with AI because they put out images of what it should look like. I mean, also that's false advertising. Like, they should get sued for this. I don't think that's fair. If you put out a bunch of AI images and it showed up and looked nothing like them. Like people sued McDonald's back in the day for that shit. We should be able to Sue. I would 100% sue. Take on Barbie Dream Fest on behalf of my kids being scarred for life. Fuck yeah.
B
Live your love, your truth. You finally get to be a P.I. i show up to lawyer a judge.
A
The cops show up to this one. So that's your nightmare report, everybody. So, you know, hopefully this is a lesson learned. Like these festivals just need to do better, especially when they're for kids. It's just.
B
I don't know what you guys thought. Like, it wasn't ready. So, like, why did you let people show up for this? Mattel put out a statement and was like, we licensed the name. This was not on us. And we are refunding the money.
A
But they need to do better with who they license the name to. It's giving Devil wears Prada 2 merch a target. Like, how did this happen?
B
How did this happen?
A
And it should have been a smaller space and more compact and just more elevated. Obviously. It goes without saying. I mean, this was hot garbage.
B
But thank you for bringing up Star Wars Prada because it's not in here. But you saw Meryl Streep and Anna Wintour on the COVID of American Vogue today. No, iconic. Iconic.
A
What
B
could you die? I mean, the image that is worth like a thousand words, obviously. My comment was actually groundbreaking.
A
Okay, the likes are flowing in.
B
The likes are flowing in.
A
Okay, we're just gonna Take a quick break. I am telling you guys about no cd. So we have been talking about this and we really. This is a great resource if you are having any sort of ocd, these doubts or anxieties, intrusive thoughts. Everyone does have doubts and anxieties about their relationship. Of course, from time to time, if you're dating, whatever you're out there doing, your personal life. But for some people, those doubts and anxieties can feel all consuming and impossible to move on from. So these can be things like creating a mental list of your partner's pros, cons, panicking about them, whether you made the wrong choice, constantly researching signs you're with the right person, having a random dream about spending your life with another person, and then feeling guilty and terrified about what that might mean. Asking your partner over and over again if they're really happy with you, even though they've already said yes. Again, not fishing for compliments, just like you really feel like you need those answers. So this is relationship ocd. And it may seem like overthinking or commitment issues, but they actually can be signs of relationship ocd. A lot of people think this is just about cleaning and organizing, but that couldn't be more wrong. So real OCD is a serious condition where these distressing, unwanted thoughts get stuck on repeat and you feel driven to do certain mental or physical behaviors called compulsions to try to make them stop. And it can be exhausting and it can affect your personal relationships. But it is one of the most treatable mental health conditions when you get the right kind of specialized therapy, which is ERP therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, which is proven to be the most effective. Regular talk therapy, is not recommended. It can actually make OCD worse. So that is why NOCD is the world's leading OCD treatment provider. And all of their licensed therapists specialize in ERP. So the therapy is 100% virtual, covered by insurance for over 138 million Americans, and support between sessions. So you never have to face this alone. So if you are struggling with OCD or unrelenting intrusive thoughts, NOCD can help. Book a free 15 minute call to get started at learn.nocd.com GGE all right,

A
Do you feel like. Yes. The world's on fire. Like, we're all going to die probably next week. Yeah, Everything's really bad. My special. You'll never get to see it.
B
Right. Trump's going to hit the button.
A
It's over.
B
Yeah.
A
He's threatening civilians. He's been over. But pop culture wise, like, what are this? What we're getting with Mormon wives, Summer house, Feuded rivalry. Like we're overserved, too. Like, we are overserved. Like, there's never been a better time in pop culture than 2026. I will die on that hill when stuff is happening. I'm like, how were we this lucky? I guess it's cause we need it. Cause to balance out.
B
Yes.
A
The hellscape.
B
I have not had a pop culture fucking just needle to the vein scandal in years. And then we got back to back weeks with Taylor, Frankie Paul, Amanda Batula, and Wes Wilson. How did this happen to us?
A
I know. Well, let's get into it. So we Recorded last week about Summer House an hour after it happened. So we, we pushed back our recording because it happened as I was like trying to get ready. I mean, it happened at 10am and we typically record at 11. So we really just had to like collect our thoughts. And we had some regrets just because we hadn't really thought about it enough. We hadn't seen more things that came out and whatever. I think we did a fine job. But I mean, it's just still slowed down a little bit. But for the all of last week and over the weekend, it was just all I was seeing. So, so much has happened since. So we just want to circle back.
B
Yeah. I mean, it feels like it has slowed down a teeny tiny bit now. People are sort of like listening in and reporting on like Lindsay's Conversations in Public West Conversations in Public. The season is still airing and then we're going to film the reunion a couple of weeks. So we're going to keep getting fed by this. But I really want to pop off about something.
A
Okay.
B
So the thing that came out, I guess a day or two after Amanda Batula and Wes Wilson have not spoken out about this, but Kyle Cook gave a basically man on the street interview to somebody from tmz. Is that who that was?
A
Still? I'm confused and I don't care enough. But yeah, yeah, great. Someone got the exclusive of him coming out of his apartment just ready to talk.
B
Yes. And, you know, if I knew nothing about him, I would be like, that's a really. That's a real man. That's a really measured person. He said, you know, I'm disappointed about this. He didn't say terrible things about either of them, really. And he said, you know, Amanda is somebody who struggles with mental health and, you know, please remember that. And I was like, that's. If I knew nothing else about him, I'd be like, that's a really standup guy who's still sticking up for the person he was with for 10 years. It seemed calm and measured. I would like to pop off about the things that he said.
A
What? Like since or on the show, on that interview. Okay.
B
And get your reaction.
A
Okay.
B
Okay. So he said, you know, keep in mind that she's somebody with mental health issues.
A
And sorry to interrupt you wasn't like a three parter.
B
They divided it into two parts.
A
Okay, got it. Okay. Cause I watched Carl's a Mess part one, and then Ashley, I can't.
B
Carl's a mess. It's just, I say it to myself all day long. When People are like, I'm stuck in traffic. And I'm like, and Carl's a mess. I mean, I can't see Carl being the most upset of all these people.
A
We went to dinner with one of Carl's best friends. She's also one of our best friends that night. And we're like, is Carl a mess? He was like, carl's a mess. I was just with Carl. He was. Came for me with Carl. He came straight from Carl to us.
B
And he was like, I had to console Carl.
A
I could confirm he's a mess. Okay, So I do.
B
I agree with the sentiment of, like, these are real people. And when the entire weight of the Internet is thrown at somebody for, listen, she didn't kill anybody. They didn't kill anybody.
A
It is hard.
B
And these are real people. And people have. They've ended their lives for online bullying. And, you know, you saw what happened with Raquel Levis. After scandal, she checked to a mental institution for months. And so I would never encourage anybody to do that. However, no one would know about this if Amanda Petula and Wes Wilson weren't on Instagram stories every single day, dancing around, drinking, eating. And you and I have a lot of mutual friends with them. And so I started to notice before I even heard this, they're just together a lot. They're dancing around a lot, like, just being goofy together. And the Instagram stories I noticed them on are these accounts that are not small account people that are verified with millions of followers. And even if they weren't hooking up with each other, if I'm Ciara and I'm like, my very close friend and my ex who did me so dirty are just being goofy on the Internet together, I have a real problem with that. Nobody would know about this if they hadn't been being, like, silly and goofy. And then people started asking questions and getting in the comments and saying, what's going on here? And Andy Cohen is asking Kyle and West, and they put out the feelers. Other than sleeping together, they weren't that secretive about this. Yeah, I think that they were actually, like, teasing this kind of a lot. They were being a little careless, like, I dare you to catch us kind of. And I don't think they were trying to, but this is not two people that kept this really private. And so to be like, you know, think about her mental health, of course, but. And she's not saying think about my mental health, but you can't do something to somebody that is really, really terrible and deplorable. And then Claim mental health.
A
But he's saying that.
B
He's saying it, not her. Yeah.
A
And I have thoughts on, like, the line between accountability and bullying.
B
100%.
A
I'm with you. I can't believe the way this went down. I mean, for me last week to be like, they're probably in love.
B
I was so off.
A
They are not together. That much is clear. West is hooking up with somebody every night. That's. It appears to be seven threesomes. He's doing all this. I mean, these are just all the claims that are coming out. Like, he is a fuck boy for the generations. Like, they're not a couple. Right.
B
So I don't know. But as soon as this came out, there were a bunch of women that came forward. And of course, people can lie, but multiple women were like, I'm dating him.
A
Yeah. So what it appears to have happened, which is out there in the news and we have had it confirmed as well, is that there was a video of them. There was video proof. And so that's why they made this statement. I was joking. When we were at dinner, I was like, I would go full Donald Trump. I'd be like, deny, deny, gaslight lie. That was AI. I mean, I'm half kidding. But, like, the way they made this statement, I still can't believe it. Who approved this? Who let them do this in this way? They made it so much more serious. Like, it could have been done so differently. It could have been like, we slipped up and we hooked up and I'm so sorry. Like, why did they do it like this? Like, why did they do this joint Black background, white statement. We're seeing where the relationship goes. It wasn't that apologetic. It was this huge announcement. I still can't get over the way that it. They did this. I thought they'd be smarter than that. I mean, I don't think they're that smart. I mean, Amanda Betula has been on the show for a decade. How does she not know what would have happened here? And anyone saying, like, this is all planned and orchestrated, it's not. It's. It's not. I mean, it's just not. It's just not. We've talked to so many people that know them that this wasn't. And, like, you wish it was because it would have been done differently. Bravo would have handled it differently if they had a hand in it. Like, the way that they did this. Who let this happen?
B
I don't know.
A
I'm with you.
B
When this came out, I mean, before really digesting this for a couple of days. And all these other women coming forward saying, I'm dating him too. I'm sleeping with him too. I was like, clearly they have burned their. Their professional lives to the ground because they're in love.
A
Yeah.
B
But that statement did not say that. It didn't say that we are so sorry for who we've hurt. I mean, it didn't say that either. There didn't seem to be a lot of accountability. And I understand people saying, like, the heart wants what it wants. I fell in love with somebody that I was really close friends with. This just happens. But it didn't say those things. And I'm just curious, like, what's gonna happen at the reunion? Like, are they gonna walk out hand in hand? They better.
A
They better be.
B
Like, we are in love. But that doesn't seem to be what's happening.
A
They're not in love. Okay, I have a question for you. Yeah. Do you think that Amanda underestimated how much people love Ciara and don't ride for her? Like, do you think there's a world in which Amanda thought she was a fan favorite and this would not happen? Like, I can't stop going over this in my head. How anyone else could have seen this response. And they didn't.
B
Maybe.
A
Unless they just didn't care.
B
Maybe that maybe she overestimated how much kindness she would get from the fans for leaving Kyle. I mean, there was so much like
A
she felt untouchable, positive hype around her.
B
And, you know, I don't. I can't even begin to understand what it feels like to be on a reality show at very young age. 23 years old, 24, she's with this guy who verbally abused her on national television and cheated on her. And she's with somebody for 10 years through her 20s, her early 30s. She gets out of this relationship.
A
She.
B
Anybody would act a little crazy and go kind of wild.
A
But.
B
And yeah, maybe you date some people that are wrong for you, but betraying your friend and, you know, it's a little different. You know, I always think, like, we all date a lot of people. Are every one of those people off limits to everybody else around you?
A
No.
B
You know, if I was in a serious relationship with somebody that had a beginning, middle and an end, and I had an agency in that relationship ending, maybe I would be okay with somebody around me dating that person. Cause I would feel like I. I ended this in a way that I needed to. But when somebody just hurts you so deeply, like west and Ciara and does you so dirty to watch your close friend go after that person. I can't imagine anything more painful.
A
I know. And I keep coming back to Demi on Mormon Wives, saying explicitly that she was a fan favorite and then acting unhinged. And I'm wondering if you have a delusional part of you that thinks you're the favorite and you're empowered to do whatever you want. Like, I wonder if Amanda was like, I have so much love from the audience and so much goodwill towards me right now, and everybody loves Wes. Like, who wouldn't support this? I can't wrap my head around her mindset. And, I mean, Amanda sucks for this. That much is clear. Like, she's the queen of the pick me's. I think that we have realized that now. I was always neutral on her. I wasn't like a hater, but I was like, whatever. I thought she was a better friend. I will say that. So she's not a girl's girl. It's a parent. I don't think that she's that smart for doing this this way. But, like, she didn't commit a crime. She's not a pedophile. She's not causing harm to the world. And like, I've said this before, and I'll say it like, I am so bothered by the excitement to tear down a woman and the enthusiasm to pile on and ruin this woman's life. And I get it, though. She did a shitty thing. She stabbed her friend in the back. She stabbed another woman in the back. A woman that people love, that we love. And so I understand why the story took off. Everybody has a take. We're doing that second week in a row we're talking about this. I understand it, and I understand if you don't want to support her anymore. But like I said, there's a line between holding someone accountable and bullying them. Like, what do you want to do? Make her kill herself? Like, there's such a. It's so weird behavior to be in people's comments and in their messages and saying the meanest stuff. Like, that's not holding someone accountable. That's like you're trying to bully them off the Internet or bully them into literal suicide. And I just don't think this would have happened to a man like, west got.
B
But it didn't happen to happen to a man.
A
Like, but just the. If a man did this to another man, it wouldn't even be news like this. But just in this situation, west got more followers from this. That was one of Kyle's Main talking points on the street. Like, he did a shitty thing, too. He had a really close relationship with Sierra. He had a friendship with her. He had an intimate relationship with her. Like. Like, why the fuck would this increase his popularity? And I think there's a lot of things that are true at once. Like, we hold women to a higher standard, right? Like, I do expect more for women. I have more respect for women. When a woman disappoints you, it hurts worse because you didn't see it coming. So I understand why we feel this way, but I just, like, want us all to check, ourselves, us included, of why we don't afford women the same grace we afford men and why we crucify women so much more. And I just don't want us to let this vitriol for this woman overpower the ways we should be holding men accountable. Like, women just don't get the passes that men get. Like, Kanye is selling out stadiums. Louis CK Sold out Madison Square Garden. Like, when this happens to women, they wear this scarlet letter forever. Like, Beyonce could never do an ounce of what Kanye has done. No woman comedian could come back Like, Louis CK Crystalia on tour again. I know, and it took a while, but he is back. And, like, I'm all for forgiveness and giving people second chances, especially if you love their art. There's a line for me, for sure, like, we don't need to get into this world, but there's something that doesn't matter how much I love your music. Like Diddy, for example, what you've done netfar again, like, you're off my. My Spotify for life, R. Kelly, et cetera. But I just think we as women all need to check our internalized misogyny. And if you're being harder on women than these terrible men, why. And it's just. I don't know. That's just. It's on my mind. This isn't in defense of Amanda. It's just the bigger issue. And we can also care about pop culture and what's going on in the world. I'm not a person that's like, how can you care so much about this but don't care about this? That's never gonna be me. But, like, women just. They don't get forgiven ever. Like, I always. I thought about that with Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel, that, like, cheating scandal,
B
like, all the time.
A
The way that Justin Timberlake apologized years ago when he was caught on camera with another woman, whatever. And people were like, an honest king. Thank you, King. Jessica Biel. Would have banned from society. She would have had to get, like, leave the country, leave the Internet.
B
I mean, I think what's happening in pop culture is what's happening in the world. This is just a metaphor for what happens everywhere. And as soon as this happened, I went to Amanda's page and I looked. I went to West's page, and I was looking at the comments on both of their posts, and hers were so full of vitriol and hate. And I think, of course, so many women look at this, and they're like, this is my worst nightmare. And they overrelate to it, and it's the worst thing they could ever imagine. And, yes, we hold women to higher standards. Men are supposed to be cheaters and scumbags and liars and manipulators. But I looked at his comments, and I was like, there just aren't that many. And I was really shocked by it. And I think it's really interesting. Cause in Kyle's little man on the street thing, he brings this up and he says, you know, I went to West Page, and he's getting 50,000 followers. Kyle is also complaining about a system that also has rewarded him because Kyle has also been on television for a decade, verbally abusing his wife last week, calling her a stupid fucking bitch on national television. And lover boy is selling out across the country. So it's fascinating to me how quickly we forget that, like, exactly what this man is doing. I mean, people slutted lover boy, bought it out, sold it out. This man was terrible to his wife on television. And we just kept watching. We rewarded him with more contracts, more scenes. By the way, what they did to Hannah Burner, I get, like, so mad about it when I think about it. And he says, you know, go easy on Amanda, which I agree with. But did you guys go easy on Hannah when you got her kicked off the show and you terrorized her in the press? And that's just. You know, Ashley and I love Hannah, and we care about her, we're friends with her. But, like, to watch what they did to her in the press and just gas people up and do interviews about how terrible she is. Hannah also didn't do anything so terrible.
A
I don't even remember what she allegedly did.
B
But I just. I agree with you. And I think it's an interesting, important conversation of, like, why are we okay with one thing and not the other? And I think what Wes did is terrible. And him and Kyle are good friends. And I was looking through, like, you never know how close anybody Is. But I was looking through Kyle's posts and he posted for West's birthday and he said like, happy birthday to my brother. And it was this whole roundup of photos of them. Like they are close.
A
It's so crazy. This is this man's ex wife.
B
Uh huh.
A
What are we. Why are we forgetting that? I don't care. Cause I don't care about Kyle's feelings. But I'm just saying that's worst technically because the marriage of it all. So we're going to just get into Kanye really quick. But there's one thing I really got to bring up and that is the Rihanna of it all.
B
I. You never expected Rihanna to enter this chat.
A
We know Rihanna loves Bravo. So she's talked about, but I thought she was a housewives Stan and I didn't know Rihanna was watching Summer House. So I guess Rihanna had followed all of them. Rihanna had followed Amanda and then unfollowed Amanda. If Rihanna felt follows me, I've made it. If Rihanna unfollows me, I'm leaving the planet.
B
Going into hiding. Yeah.
A
Can you imagine Brianna following you? Then she unfollows you and then I guess Rihanna has said she wants to hook Sierra up with somebody. People are speculating as Michael B. Jordan. I can't believe I can't get over the Rihanna aspect of this.
B
Also, I like shipping her with like a big celebrity because so many people were saying like, she's going to be the next Bachelorette. I honestly can't think of anything I want to do last year than date 30 men. It sounds like a punishment.
A
I love the takes about this. They're like, okay, she was traumatized by one man. Why should she go be traumatized by 30 of them? And also, she's just bigger and better than this dying franchise. Like, I really like the takes that were like, that's an insult.
B
And she has. I mean, I'm sure she will speak her truth when the time comes at the reunion. I mean, she's carried herself with nothing but class and poise and just continued to post her brand deals and be on the red carpets. And I look forward to seeing what she has to say. Say, I think that she is just wonderful. And I mean humble. You look at her, you're like, that's the most beautiful person I've ever seen in my life. And she's humble.
A
She's great.
B
And we just, you know, we root for her. Team Sarah.
A
Yeah. And just one thing, I mean, Carl and Lindsay shot this Uber Eats commercial immediately. I mean, they obviously Have Uber eats deals. So. But the publicist dial them up, like, let's go. Carl's a mess. Let's go. So they. They shot this commercial, and Carl's a mess, and she hands him tissues, and you're like, oh, my God. You forget that. They're like, for a second, like, they were engaged in the whole breakup, and, like, the world is healing and it is united. The rest of the cast, I'll say that certain members.
B
Lindsay Hubbard, I always say, like, the devil works hard. Lindsay Hubbard works harder. When she got pregnant, she had that first response ad locked and loaded.
A
She.
B
That's how she announced her pregnancy. Getting paid. She's monetizing off the back of West Amanda.
A
I'm not a fan of her as a person. I am a huge fan of her as a business person. A queen, a Kris Jenner through and through.
B
So it's interesting because these people are just, like, in the streets, going out in New York City. West, I think, traveled to. And I will probably get this wrong. Arizona, to deal with Marriott and had posted this thing. They edited him out of the videos because they were like, we can't have you in these brand deals. But people overheard him at the pool saying that him and Amanda were in a relationship. This is all just hearsay.
A
Yeah.
B
So I am curious to see, like, what comes to light over the next couple weeks before we get the reunion.
A
Reunion. Jesus Christ. So, yeah, we. We mentioned Kanye. Kanye is having a comeback. What? He sold out two nights at SoFi. 80,000 seats. Made millions of dollars.
B
60,000.
A
But again, you. You find your line for when you want to cancel somebody and how much their music and their art means to you and what they've done. Kanye, to me, is a real villain to the Jewish community. He sold shirts with swastikas on them. Like, did we forget this? You know, and so anyway, so that happened. But now the news as of today is he was supposed to headline the wireless festival in the UK and they have canceled the festival because they have banned him from the uk. So the government has said he's caused so much harm, especially to this specific community, and he can't come in the country, which is crazy. So the wireless festival, if you're not familiar, it's huge. Drake headlined it last year. Three different nights. He did a different set every night. Was iconic. But it's huge. Just so. It's like a Coachella. So he was supposed to headline it and he can't come in the country. To get banned from a country is crazy.
B
I mean, to Me, the way he's gone after Jewish people, it is as bad to me as some other people. It's cancelable forever. Amanda Petula. Okay? Like, I don't think I can't give her a pass. But, like, this has nothing. This can't even hold a candle to what is going on with these men that have, like, really put a dark mark on society and incited violence and encouraged hatred, anti Semitism, horrible things against women and people of certain races. And I can't forgive it. I can't look the other way. And I really, like. There was a couple people that I follow that I'm friendly with that I saw at this concert posting about it. I felt, like, sick about it.
A
Yeah, I mean, you know, people justified however they want. The new album is good, actually. Musically, it's old guys, just, like, people are like the. That's the thing. People are like, I love the music. It meant a lot to me. And, like, he's back and it doesn't matter. I wouldn't go see him in concert. I wouldn't give him my money. But people are like, he has a mental illness again. I'm just saying. It's not what I'm saying. People say he's a mental illness. He has since come out and said he wants to reconnect with the Jewish community.
B
Fuck him. On behalf of the. I'm not saying. You're saying. Yeah, on behalf of the Jewish community. Fuck Kanye West.
A
Yeah. I mean, it's. Again, you are welcome to know anything and everything you know about him and make your own decision. You know, he is not in the Epstein files. He's not a fucking pedophile. He has caused a lot of harm. And I. I mean, I can't believe this. It's like. It's just. My point is people are so quick
B
to forget there is some justice in the world. Lisa Vanderpump has removed Dakota from Vanderpump Villa this season, which they should. And I think that was Jeremiah idea. And I remember saying this a couple weeks ago, that if Taylor gets kicked off the Bachelorette, then Dakota should be edited out of other things as well. So thank you for taking our idea. And they have announced that he will be edited out of the footage.
A
Raina, I love when people get edited out after the fact. So this is a real deep cut. But Siesta Key, you know, I used to fuck with that show. And the guy Alex in Siesta Key got in trouble for racist stuff. He got canceled. His dad, I think, was like, one of the creators of the show. He was like the main character. He was the top main character. And they had to edit him out of a season. And it was crazy because he was there and then they would. You could tell someone was like talking to him. The editing was crazy. I watched that season for the editing out of him to just see how they did it. It was hilarious.
B
It's just so funny to like watch scenes where, you know, people are sitting at a dinner table together.
A
Yes, yes.
B
And they have edited them out.
A
Well, and then there's like, there was the summer house thing that came out where they had said they edited that one guy out of that one scene.
B
Emeril.
A
Emeril. And then people were speculating. Cause they just didn't wanna pay him. That episode. Like he only had one scene at dinner and like he was there and they edited him out. That was like some tea. But anyway, I just. I just find that stuff really interesting, fascinating.
B
So at least one person is being held accountable, and that's Dakota, as he should be.
A
Okay, so we are just gonna take a quick break while we're talking about pop culture and TV shows. We have a TV show we think you guys are going to like. This is the Testaments on Hulu. So it is from the executive producers of the Handmaid's Tale. A new dawn rises in Gilead. So the Testaments is a new Hulu original series based on the novel by Margaret Atwood. Golden Globe nominee Chase Infinity plays the dutiful teen Agnes, who guides newcomer Daisy through the halls of Aunt Lydia's elite preparatory school for future wives, where obedience is instilled brutally. With no connection to the outside world, the daughters of Gilead's commanders start to challenge authority, seek independence, and explore their identity. This is just the beginning of their reckoning. The series explores friendship, empowerment and resilience and what coming of age means for young women in a society that affords them no rights. Agnes and Daisy's bond becomes the catalyst that will up in their past, present and future. Raised obey but destined to defy. There's nothing more powerful than a teenage girl. So the Testaments is out now. You guys can watch the Testaments now streaming on Hulu and Hulu on Disney plus for bundle subscribers. Terms apply.

Like everyone was sending me the memes. There's these ET memes. The pictures are insane.
B
He's like screaming in the back seat.
A
He's not okay. I was like, he looks all sweaty. I got so confused. I thought we were seeing photos from the crash. I thought he was flipping in the car. I was so confused.
B
Oh, you know he's in the cop car.
A
But he was in the cop car cuffed and he was yawning and. And he's yawning. It looks like a roller coaster pic. It looks like when they take a picture of you like screaming on a roller coaster. KFC posted. I said not the roller coaster pick.
B
I thought he was yelling. I thought he was yelling, get the President on the line for me.
A
Okay, so yes, then he calls Donald Trump.
B
If I'M doing piece of shit stuff. I guess I'll call the biggest piece of shit there is to get me out of it.
A
If I'm the president and a grown ass adult calls me, I got a dui. I'm sending you to jail right now. On my own accord.
B
Not him. He's like, honestly, I wasn't doing anything besides bombing another country.
A
Do not call me. Exactly. He's like, sorry, let me set this truth social tweet aside for the second where I threaten a whole country and circle back to your dui. Like, if you're my kid, fine. But a grown adult, Let me call the president to get me out of this dui. I can't.
B
I mean, he's just this. Like, it doesn't. I hate that. It doesn't surprise me.
A
Of course not.
B
Nothing about this surprises me.
A
But the memes are fire. There's one of him kneeling. The kneeling meme has gone craz. And the ET beam, like, there's just so many. And again, he looks so up. Like, I don't know why I'm surprised.
B
You're surprised because this is, by the way, one of the most, I would say, top five most famous athletes that has ever lived.
A
True.
B
Like, it's like him, Tom Brady, and LeBron. Like, I don't. Who's more famous than these people?
A
Oh, my God. If LeBron got a DUI, rain, I'd never recover. I'd be like, my king. But now we have something in common. And Shaq.
B
Ashley, you might be Shaq this week, I think.
A
Guys, stay tuned.
B
This girl, I was on the street corner yesterday was like, I have a vet with Shaq. I was like, stay tuned.
A
So Raina voice notes me, and she's like, I have a surprise. I have a present for you. I have a surprise for you. And she's like, met this girl. She's like, she has an event with Shaq. And the way you said it, I heard Shep. And I said, I don't care. You don't know me at all. Like, we've met him multiple times. Like, what do you. I literally. It took me a minute until you said something else that made me realize it was Shaq because I heard Shep Lilisp. It was even there. So speech. Okay. That doesn't even track sometimes.
B
I actually don't think I have a lisp anymore now that I have the chin implant. I feel like sometimes my mouth sounds like there's rocks in it. So I think that's what you were hearing, but, like, that is so funny, because I was like, I have a gift for you. And you probably were like.
A
And then I was like, shaq, oh, my God. Okay. So anyway, that was release. And thank you guys for knowing. Knowing what. What I like and sending to me a million times.
B
So as of this week, a judge has 10 of Blake Lively's claims against Justin Baldoni. I think there's 13 total. So 10 were tossed out. We still will get a trial. And she said, I'm still. I'm still happy to go to trial about these three main parts of my case, but the main. Sexual harassment.
A
Yeah. So they dropped the sexual harassment stuff. What's left on the table is the smear campaign stuff, right?
B
Yeah. And she basically says, I'm glad to be able to be a voice for people that I know this happened to and people that I don't know this has happened to. But, like, like, there is real hard evidence that this campaign was launched to make me look bad, to make my businesses look bad, to take work away from me, to make sure I couldn't be employable anymore.
A
And she posted on Instagram. Did you read her whole statement? It was long. It was long. I need a TL doctor. I don't care. I thought I cared, but I don't.
B
Claude, give me the tldr clawd.
A
Okay, girl.
B
Well, we made a pact to stop.
A
So that's the latest on Blake and Justin. And so we'll still see what shakes out. I mean, he did try to ruin her career. Right? Those. Like that will.
B
I feel like that's indisputable. I. I think he. His defense will be like, she deserved it and they didn't. She. They tried to ruin mine, and her and her husband bullied me, and they brought all these claims that are not true. And Ashley and I just think they both have acted terrible. We don't know. We'll see how this shakes out.
A
Yeah.
B
But we will get a trial.
A
Yes. Okay. And Kim Kardashian and Lewis Hamilton make their relationship Instagram official with high speed Ferrari Drive. So I think my husband, like, came over this video and not over Kim, over the car.
B
He broke the news to us.
A
He sent it to us. Yes. And Shashank is on top of his pop culture, surprisingly. But he sent this to us, and I thought it was about the car. And then at the end, you see Kim and she says, like, that's insane. Just, like, such a hot take. Like, obviously, this Ferrari is fucking insane. You're the most famous F1 driver in his Ferrari. That's insane. Like, okay, Kim. But I guess they're together and, you know, it's not surprising to me at all. And they're both short and powerful and famous. And I see this for them.
B
Short people. Short people find each other. This is surprising. They're both little people. And she.
A
Well, Connie is small. Like, she. She only works out with small people.
B
She ended that marriage to Chris Humphrey. I'm like, that's weak.
A
She was like, you're too tall. I can't do it. Insane.
B
100.
A
She loves a shot short king.
B
I think that this is the sexiest hard launch I've ever seen. I mean, what is a hotter way? I think I hard launched my relationship, like, in front of a Ferris wheel or some.
A
Was it. What Ferris wheel?
B
Were we on a boat? No. I think maybe I hard launched on that boat for your birthday. Regardless, it wasn't in my F1 driver's Ferrari.
A
No, I said, shashank, you didn't even hard launch me in your M3. Like, because his car means the world to him, and I just.
B
He hard launched you on a balcony in Malibu. Is that what it is? Is that where that photo is? On his birthday, on that balcony in Malibu.
A
He doesn't post a lot. That first photo, the first time he ever posted me, it was a picture from New York. And I think it was, like, later in the summer, you know, the first. Bella sent it to me before I even saw it myself.
B
What was the photo? I thought it was that orange dress.
A
No, that was his birthday, though.
B
Oh, the laying in the grass.
A
Yeah, the lane in the grass thing. But I heart. I soft launched him and then I. Whatever. Regardless, it's hot. The Ferrari's hot. Hot take. Ferraris are hot. Good for you, Kim. I guess. Okay, lastly. I mean, so much is happening in the world that's so unbelievably disgusting. I mean, we really have the 25th Amendment on the table. Like, Trump is unhinged. I don't even understand. It's like, whatever. You guys can, you know, do your research and see what's happening in the world. But I just wanted to address that. He did fire Pam Bondi. A lot of people sent that to me. I love to talk about Pam Bondi, and he fired her, and the women are getting fired and the men not quite yet. And I just love this quote that women who carry water for the patriarchy always drown first. And there's this weird correlation between that and Amanda Petula.
B
No, of course it is.
A
When you center men and you choose men and you stab Women in the back, you pay the price. So let that be a lesson.
B
She's a traitor against her own kind.
A
Yeah, exactly. That's what it is. That's like, when it comes to the government, like, yes, we expect that from white men. From Pete Hagseth and Cash Patel. There's a white man. I mean, whatever these guys do. Yeah, but these women, like, they feel worse to us as women, and they fall first and never do this. Like, I mean, it's. It's a lesson. I always said Pam Bondi will be the first one to rot in prison. And she sold her soul to this man that was never going to save her.
B
Well, her and Kristi Noem both. I mean, when they ceased to be valuable to these men, they were the first to go.
A
Of course they were.
B
So, anyways, well, let's wrap with something positive and wonderful. Ashley special.
A
Yes. The Dow's at 50K.
B
When's the trailer dropping? Tomorrow.
A
No, the trailer will drop a little closer too.

Oh, okay.

Episode: Canceling Men vs. Women, Barbie Nightmare, and Hard Launch Goals
Date: April 9, 2026
Hosts: Ashley Hesseltine & Rayna Greenberg
Main Theme: A hilarious yet insightful discussion of pop culture scandals, gendered “cancel culture,” viral events, and juicy hard launches, all through the unique, candid lens of Ashley and Rayna.
This “Snack” episode is a pop-culture-packed ride where Ashley and Rayna bring their signature wit to the week’s wildest headlines. They dive into why women get canceled harder than men, break down newly viral internet fiascos (like the “nightmare Barbie fest” and that terrifying Detroit lamb cake), and get real about how women are treated in scandals, both online and IRL. Plus: major announcements, including Ashley’s standup special and Kim Kardashian’s latest “hard launch.”
Ashley (on cancel culture):
“Why do we crucify women so much more? I just don't want us to let this vitriol for this woman overpower the ways we should be holding men accountable.” (34:20)
Rayna (on Barbie Dreamfest):
“It looked like you're on a hard hat tour for Barbie—like you’re going into the factory now.” (18:26)
Ashley: “The excitement to tear down a woman and the enthusiasm to pile on and ruin this woman’s life… There’s a line between accountability and bullying.” (33:41)
Rayna: “She [Ciara] has carried herself with nothing but class and poise.” (40:00)
Ashley (on influencers):
“When you center men and choose men and stab women in the back, you pay the price. So let that be a lesson.” (56:39)
On Rihanna unfollowing Amanda:
“If Rihanna unfollows me, I’m leaving the planet.” (39:24)
On Ashley’s special:
"It’s really about the last three years of my life...my husband, but dating before him and moving to LA and my feelings on marriage and not having kids and moving in with him and the things that happen in sex, of course." (06:11)
“Canceling Men vs. Women, Barbie Nightmare, and Hard Launch Goals” is classic Girls Gotta Eat: unfiltered, whip-smart, and culturally sharp. Ashley and Rayna connect viral pop moments with deeper commentary on gender bias, internet culture, and the wild world of reality TV, never losing their irreverent, big-sister energy. The episode jumps from laugh-out-loud takes on disaster festivals to frank reflection on why women pay a higher price for scandal than men, all while keeping up the relentless banter, quotable lines, and pop culture expertise.
For longtime and first-time listeners alike, this episode is both hilarious escapism and a smart social commentary.
