Raina Greenberg
This week on the snack Coachella, Alex versus Alex and is Trump Jesus.
Ashley Hasseltine
This is a Dear media production.
Raina Greenberg
Enjoy.
Ashley Hasseltine
Hi, guys. Is he though?
Raina Greenberg
I don't know.
Ashley Hasseltine
I thought he was Jesus.
Raina Greenberg
Isn't that why we all voted for He's Jesus. He's a doctor.
Ashley Hasseltine
He looks just like him. Equally hot.
Raina Greenberg
Equally, equally as mystical.
Ashley Hasseltine
Okay, Raina, I wanted to say happy one year anniversary to the girls trip to space, the blue girl bosses, the blue origin flag with Katy Perry, who's in the news for some other reasons right now. But the cut posted happy one year. The cut posted happy one year anniversary to whatever this was.
Raina Greenberg
Well, that was an amazing week in history.
Ashley Hasseltine
But then one year later, a real space mission, which we'll talk about today, which we were remiss to not talk about last week. Rayna doesn't care about it.
Raina Greenberg
No, I don't care. I didn't even know.
Ashley Hasseltine
Raina does not care about women in stem. You heard it here first.
Raina Greenberg
I didn't even know that we went to the moon.
Ashley Hasseltine
You probably think the S in STEM is for space.
Raina Greenberg
It was science.
Ashley Hasseltine
Look at you go.
Raina Greenberg
Well, I've been joking about it on stage. Women in stem, I throw it in every once in a while, so I had to know what it meant.
Ashley Hasseltine
And we are two weeks out from my special.
Raina Greenberg
I'm so excited, Ashley.
Ashley Hasseltine
Airing on YouTube. Big time for YouTube. We'll talk about that today. Too hot time for YouTube, everybody.
Raina Greenberg
Is YouTube hot again?
Ashley Hasseltine
It's been hot. It's the hottest. I love this. I love, like having complete ownership of this and debuting it on YouTube and doing a live interactive experience. And it's just like every day YouTube becomes hotter. Like the people in the industry are like, in five years, everybody will be watching everything on YouTube.
Raina Greenberg
YouTube is having a hot girl spring.
Ashley Hasseltine
Like Netflix is very worried about YouTube. This is happening. Oh, you talked on the end. Yeah. We have the inside track.
Raina Greenberg
Netflix is shaking.
Ashley Hasseltine
So subscribe to my YouTube. It will be on my personal so which is Ashley Hasseltine. So YouTube.com ashleyhastletine and you can subscribe, of course. And so you will get notified and then you can sign up for the special, the countdown. So two weeks from today, April 30, 8pm Eastern Time. So 5pm Pacific. And I will be in the chat with you guys and I don't know where I'm going to be quite yet. Still figuring out my schedule and who I'm going to be watching it with. It won't be Raina.
Raina Greenberg
I'm so sad. Raina has a show, but she has.
Ashley Hasseltine
We have collected both, decided that she's going to just pull up YouTube, like Justin Bieber at Coachella and play this special.
Raina Greenberg
I feel like it's very of the moment, you know, like, and also, like, I'm gonna be in Seattle, which I'm very excited about. But you didn't do a show in Seattle. So, like, I will be there in Seattle. They'll get me. But they'll also get you.
Ashley Hasseltine
Exactly.
Raina Greenberg
You guys, I'm not gonna do that. But I want to do that.
Ashley Hasseltine
I know. I'm just so sad I'm not gonna be with you, but it's okay. I can't believe it. And then the next day, if you would like to watch it on prime video in the US want to specify, you can. That'll be May 1st, but I'm pushing this YouTube premiere. I'm really excited.
Raina Greenberg
So I want to remind people that, like, because a boy reminded me the other day that, like, you can put YouTube on your television. Like, put it on your TV. I think you have better knows, like, project it on your tv, obviously. So don't watch it on your computer. Like, make a whole night about it. Have snacks. Have a girls night.
Ashley Hasseltine
Yeah, y' all better do that.
Raina Greenberg
Do a themed night. Like, do costumes, Instagram story it. Like, tag us, tag me, Tag Ashley. I'm just. I'm excited to see, like, have a watch party.
Ashley Hasseltine
100%. Okay, so, yes, two weeks from today. So my YouTube again, Ashley Husseltine, not Ash Hess, the full name. Head over there, subscribe. I would love to have you guys as subscribers and then watch the space.
Raina Greenberg
Watch YouTube. Netflix is shaking. I talk to everybody at Netflix and they're scared dead.
Ashley Hasseltine
Like, once YouTube really kind of figures out more of their navigation is over for you because it is a little chaotic over there. That's why I need you guys to make sure you're subscribed so you know where to find this shit when it airs.
Raina Greenberg

Raina Greenberg
I was like. So I. Ashley and I obviously build the outlines together, but I type in these, the pre rolls. I got nervous. I was like, this is so much new information.
Ashley Hasseltine
Yeah. So let's. New stuff today. Don't. Don't skip it. Okay. We're going to kick this off with a Coachella report. Obviously, I need to understand how many people go to Coachella and how many people from LA go to Coachella because the city is empty. And I feel like that's a crazy thing for. It's not crazy, but you feel it. People joke about LA being empty. It feels empty. When I landed on Sunday, there was no one in the airport driving over here. I'm getting here quicker than ever before. Like, there's no traffic.
Raina Greenberg
All the food. Instagrams are like go to the hotspots now. Except for Common Ground you can't get
Ashley Hasseltine
into but Max and Helen's. So I saw, I saw TikTok and it was like going to Max and Helen's while the quote unquote city is empty. And she walks up to the hostess stand and they say five and a half hours. That's this diner that is just like impossible to get into. You got in once cuz there was a what, one bar stool.
Raina Greenberg
Well, my hack is that I go eat by myself and I go lunch and yes. I mean I did this in Austin also. There was like the best brunch and the hardest reservation to get in Austin was this place. And I just went by myself and I got the solo bar stool.
Ashley Hasseltine
Yeah. Okay, can we just. How many people go to.
Raina Greenberg
It looks it's the biggest festival in the country. I don't remember. I think it's 300,000 people over two weekends. So the first weekend already happened and then next weekend it'll. So it's two weekends in a row. And then the third week is like stagecoach.
Ashley Hasseltine
Okay, so 125,000, 130,000 people per day. So. So spread over two consecutive three day weekends, this brings the total attendance to about 750,000 visitors annually. And just so many of those people are from la, you really feel it. I remember last year, one night Shashank and I went out and the Uber driver was like, I just got back from Coachella. And then there was no one in the bar.
Raina Greenberg
Like it is.
Ashley Hasseltine
This is not a hot take, but you think you wouldn't feel it, but you do.
Raina Greenberg
It's very west coast. Also, like when we lived in New York, I didn't know one person that ever went totally except for some influencers. Totally. It is west coast people. So it's my whole feed for this week. Day three was so day one. Everybody's like, just fresh, ready to go. Like, fresh out the box. Day two, outfits, day three, people are hanging on by a thread. Outfits on day three are hysterical. People are like, I'm wearing jeans and a T shirt. I don't have the strength.
Ashley Hasseltine
So Coachella is not for us. And this is no shade. I love to see people having fun. I love that this is people's Super Bowl. I love that they get all dressed up, have the time of their lives, do all the things. It's not for us 40, but, like, yeah, you're right. It's age is part of it. We did go once a few years ago. We left after one day. I like a very specific music festival experience. I've been to so many in my life, and I definitely would have liked this a lot more 10 years ago, but it's just not for me in terms of the size, the amount of people, the amount of walking you have to do, the weather, the elements, all that stuff.
Raina Greenberg
Getting out of it.
Ashley Hasseltine
Getting out of it.
Raina Greenberg
People were saying, like, when they left Bieber, they were walking like three miles in the dark at two in the morning to get back to their house. That's a very common experience. It's not for me.
Ashley Hasseltine
It's just too big, I think, and. But I respect it. This is the biggest, most important music festival that exists. But I don't want to be there. So I don't have fomo, which I love. So there. When there's things, I am like, I really want to be there, or I wish we would have gone like, the Super bowl, south by Southwest this year. I was like, we should have gone. You know, there's certain things I'm like, and they're hard for me to kind of watch because I want to be there. This.
Raina Greenberg
I don't want to be there.
Ashley Hasseltine
So I love it.
Raina Greenberg
It's weird, though. You and I love a theme. You and I love. I love planning three days of outfits. Nothing gives me a thrill like that. I just don't care.
Ashley Hasseltine
I don't want to go. Three days is crazy for a festival. Like, like Lovers and Friends festival years ago was the best day of my life.
Raina Greenberg
And.
Ashley Hasseltine
But, like, I could have done one more, but three is so extreme.
Raina Greenberg
You. I think you can only. You can only buy a three day pass. You can't buy a one day.
Ashley Hasseltine
But I used to do this all the time. Like, we would do like, Hangout Fest and we've been to Lala and like, all these things. Like, I used to love it. It's just not for. Not for me.
Raina Greenberg
I can't do it.
Ashley Hasseltine
But more power to you guys having your right.
Raina Greenberg
I don't have fomo.
Ashley Hasseltine
I don't have fomo. It feels nice.
Raina Greenberg
We went the first year. We tried it.
Ashley Hasseltine
We tried it one night.
Raina Greenberg
We left.
Ashley Hasseltine
We left. Okay, this Bieber performance. So Justin Bieber headlines. And I loved it so much. Watching from my couch, like, I was feeling like, oh, I would have loved to be there. I loved it so much.
Raina Greenberg
I loved it. Those are my favorite Bieber songs. Sorry Baby and Beauty and a Beat. Like, those are my favorite three Bieber songs. I just. I feel so much nostalgia. And to watch him stream his youtubes of him singing these songs as, like a kid and the discrepancy in his voice as an adult and a kid, like, it's amazing to watch. I just. I really had so much fun watching it.
Ashley Hasseltine
Yeah. So what he did, 90 minute show. The set was awesome. Like, I love the way it looked, but it was minimalist. And he basically started it with like 45 minutes of swag and swag two and all of his newer stuff. And there was some dancing, but he was up on his feet. And then he sat down and he pulled up his YouTube and he played all these older songs. So first of all, this whole narrative about him playing from YouTube because he sold his catalog and he had to pay a fee to play those songs. It's just totally inaccurate, by the way. So people thought they had a hot take with why he did it. That has nothing to do with it. You can play whatever you want. You and I can play any song we want at our shows. We can't put them in this podcast and put them on YouTube. Like you have a performance license. That's why artists can play covers. He can play whatever he want he wanted. I think there was a narrative of, like, well, he's drawing more attention to his new stuff that he owns and playing the old stuff from YouTube. I don't think that's true. I mean, that's. You can think, I get it. It's his new stuff. He's leading with this new stuff that he's proud of. He's evolved also.
Raina Greenberg
So basically he sold his catalog, all these for $200 million. So it would make sense that there is a clause that says, we own this now and if you play this, you owe us money.
Ashley Hasseltine
That's not how it works.
Raina Greenberg
But he got that's what the two. What I'm saying is like, people are like, he went around so, you know, to give them money. He got money. He got $200 million for these songs. So even if it was the case that he had to pay the money, that's what the money's for.
Ashley Hasseltine
But that. But that's just. That's not how it works. Like, when you're at concerts and you see artists covering other artists songs, you're allowed to do kind of whatever you want. It's why we're allowed to do whatever we want at our shows.
Raina Greenberg
But half of MGK's stuff are covers.
Ashley Hasseltine
Covers, yeah. So there's a performance license clause, whatever. So people thought they had a tape with that whatever. And then at the end, by the way, after the YouTube segment, which about 30 minutes, and he did all these hits and again, it's like he connected with his younger self and it felt really healing and he just felt happy the whole time. He looked great. He didn't look all disheveled. And then he brought all these special guests out at the end and he had tems and Wizkid and did these other songs. Like, I loved it. And it seemed like most of his real fans loved it too. And of course, we're in this age of just rage bait and people trying to spin a narrative. And the only critique I saw from someone who I trust just said it was lower energy. But that's who he is now. He was naked at the Grammys with acoustic, like, totally.
Raina Greenberg
And like, I. People were saying it's lazy. And there was no set design. He's like on this computer pulling up YouTube videos. He's not like Sabrina Carpenter. He's not gonna. I mean, that's a woman. But he's not gonna come out with dancers dressed up as dogs and giant set design. And that's fine for her. That's great. I love her. She's amazing. But like, as an artist, I don't know. He has a catalog that could rival anybody alive. And so like, I really just wanna see him play the music. I don't care if anything's happening.
Ashley Hasseltine
And he's got the voice. I mean, Beyonce's Coachella performance was the greatest performance of all time. The most elaborate. The number of performers, the rehearsal time, the costumes, the choreo, the drummers, the themes, it was unbelievable. But he's not that type of performer. Never has been. And some people are like taking this whole men versus women, like Sabrina Carpenter could never. It's like they're Two different performers. And yes, she doesn't really have that luxury. She's new. You know, who would have done this and could have done this? And I would love to see it as Rihanna. She's not a dancer. I've seen her perform twice, one being the Super Bowl. She's. She could do this and I would love it.
Raina Greenberg
Like, it's not.
Ashley Hasseltine
A man is able to be lazy. Justin Bieber has been in the industry almost 20 years. He does dance and he has an old. He used to do more set design, dancing, costumes, dancers, choreo, all the things. He hasn't done that in a while. Like, I saw this TikTok that I loved and it's like, in 2026, you're gonna get whatever version of Justin Bieber he wants to give you. And it's kind of Rihanna coded. Like, if Rihanna went up and did this exact thing, I would be like, people would go crazy for it the same way. I don't think this is like a men versus women.
Raina Greenberg
I think that's a hot take. And I agree. And I don't think he's ever been that type of performer. And I also don't care. He's a 20 year catalog. I love that music. Beauty and a beat. Like, I just, I listen to it all the time in the car, baby. I just, I love it so much and I don't care. I don't need a bunch of dancers behind him. He's not like, he's not like in sync. I don't care.
Ashley Hasseltine
Yeah, exactly. And he looked happy and healthy.
Raina Greenberg
Haley looked happy.
Ashley Hasseltine
Haley looked great.
Raina Greenberg
She was there. Do you see the videos of her at rehearsal with her son?
Ashley Hasseltine
It was so cute.
Raina Greenberg
I mean, they always look like they hate each other, so it was nice to see them happy together. And their son was there. It's very cute.
Ashley Hasseltine
I just, I felt emotional. I loved it so much. And the real Bieber fans who I follow loved it too. So don't believe the haters. And. And no notes on that. And we wanted to debunk this whole catalog narrative. Okay, what's next?
Raina Greenberg
Other drama at a Coachella? I mean, people were Instagram storing the lines for food versus other lines. They say that everybody in, everybody in LA thought it was ep. So there was no lines for food. I don't know if people happen to just catch that. But like a couple of tiktoks I saw were like 6pm the lines to like make sunglasses and trinket charms were like, just stacked. None of the food lines exist.
Ashley Hasseltine
I think Ozempic plays a part, but I think it's always been like this. I think it's always been LA people or, you know, influencer type people are. I don't think Coachella has ever been a food fest, that's for sure. You and I went, we couldn't eat fast enough, and we're the only people eating. When we went, not like these giant burritos. They were like, whoa, ladies.
Raina Greenberg
They eat gluten. That's great.
Ashley Hasseltine
And then this drama that I really got into when I went In a real TikTok hole is all these influencers speaking out that the brands canceled their Coachella trips days before the festival. So they were supposed to go with a brand that they had confirmed this, and then the brand canceled. I did not see any that named the brand. And so I. I think some of these are true. I would like to think. I don't want to think everybody's lying. But then there's another side of the Internet that's like, if you didn't name the brand, we don't believe you. And you're just doing this for likes and you were never invited. And I don't know. You know, I think a lot of people are lying on TikTok a lot.
Raina Greenberg
I think just for attention. Yeah.
Ashley Hasseltine
I think we'll talk about Alex Earl today, but she posted this whole long date story and that people were like, that's. This is promo. This didn't happen. This is not a date you went on. And I don't know, I just feel like there was some weird smoking guns. I don't want to call people. People a liar, but there. I think there's a lot of this, and it's a bummer. It's a bummer that people are like, I want to get on and lie. And we don't know for sure, but, like, if you don't name the brand, maybe you're like, I don't want to drag a brand because I want more brand opportunities. They could be thinking, like, I don't want to name the brand because I don't want to be blacklisted by other brands or even this brand for the next time.
Raina Greenberg
If a brand lures you into the desert under false pretenses, I would name them.
Ashley Hasseltine
But I think we should be hearing about brands. Like a brand like Tarte. Like, if they canceled a brand trip, I think we'd hear about it 100%. Even if someone didn't make a public TikTok, page six would reach out and be like, name the brand. And we were to Run a story about it. Like, brands canceling Coachella brand trips is a story.
Raina Greenberg
Yeah. Revolve got, like, so much blowback even for just, like, over inviting people to those parties. Like, people love to pounce on a brand and, like, I love revolve and I would love to be at those parties. Yeah. But I think people love to pounce on a brand, so I don't know, name them. Okay.
Ashley Hasseltine
One more thing, Raina, I wanted to tell you. Did you see any of the content about people hiring stylists for Coachella?
Raina Greenberg
No.
Ashley Hasseltine
So a lot of people, like, hire stylists, which is fine. I get it.
Raina Greenberg
For this.
Ashley Hasseltine
For some people, especially if you're an influencer, your job. Some were really bad. Like this one girl pulled the box of stuff the stylist had pulled. It was so hilarious. It was like basketball shorts with a bikini top. Like, real basketball.
Raina Greenberg
Okay, but like, who says everything is style now? It's just, like, looked so.
Ashley Hasseltine
It was bad.
Raina Greenberg
Every day I see new stuff that, like, these stylists are, like, in fashion for spring. Balloon pants are back. Big chunky necklaces with beads are back.
Ashley Hasseltine
Like Stella and dot.
Raina Greenberg
Yeah, it's crazy.
Ashley Hasseltine
Statement necklaces, but this was bad. And then I just saw some other tech talks that just made me laugh that they were like, girls, you don't need a stylist. It's not that deep, but I understand. If this is like your Super Bowl, I get it. It's just like, funny. Like, someone was just like, if you need someone to style you for this desert festival, maybe you shouldn't be there.
Raina Greenberg
I think we've gone a little too far.
Ashley Hasseltine
But you know what? If this is again, like, people are making content and this is their livelihood, hire a stylist. I just thought it was very funny. Stylist for Coachella.
Raina Greenberg
And then finally, people got pretty upset at Kim Kardashian and Kanye for bringing Northwest to Coachella. She's 12 years old, right? People got very upset that they brought a 12 year old. How Coachella?
Ashley Hasseltine
How is North 12? That's a 16 year old.
Raina Greenberg
100%. Also, I just. Okay, here's my take on. I. I don't think it's that crazy to bring Northwest to Coachella because first of all, her dad is Kanye. Like, she should have some joy in life. Like, poor girl. But, like, second of all, she has been exposed to more by 12 years old than the average person at 40. So I don't think it's that crazy of her. And her mom and her mom's boyfriend. Do a VIP experience at a concert. It's not that crazy to me.
Ashley Hasseltine
Yeah. I think people are looking at this through their own lens.
Raina Greenberg
Like, she went with Kim. She went with her mom and her mom's boyfriend.
Ashley Hasseltine
She said. I wrote that down too. She. Her dad, who's. Who knows where he is. And she probably. She had security and chaperones. Like, I'm sure she was with Kim and Lewis at some point, and then some point, she was on her own, but did you see this? So Young Thug during his performance, north is front row with Teyana Taylor. Of course she is. And Young Thug goes, what's up, North? How you doing? Where are your parents?
Raina Greenberg
She's just. She's more grown than your average. She's more grown than me.
Ashley Hasseltine
I can't believe north is 12, but the real issue I have is north is watching Love Island.
Raina Greenberg
So if it was upset that she knew who Huda was and. No.
Ashley Hasseltine
Alondra and Nick.
Raina Greenberg
Yes.
Ashley Hasseltine
She runs up to him. Has. This has gone viral. Like, she has this complete fangirl moment. She can't keep it together, and they're really sweet to her. That's not for kids, right?
Raina Greenberg
Like, I don't know.
Ashley Hasseltine
So north is watching Love island at 10. She's a longtime fan, so clearly.
Raina Greenberg
I don't know. I just. I feel like north is more grown than your average person. Like, also, like, Kim has so many kids who can keep up with what they're watching.
Ashley Hasseltine
Okay, so I don't watch Love Island. This is not me being Pick me. I just don't. I respect it, and I want to get involved, but you guys, tell Love island watchers, please tell us if a 10, 11, 12 year old should be watching this. I mean, I don't. I'm not trying to be approved.
Raina Greenberg
I watched 902 and oh, when I was that age, like, on volume level two in the basement. Like, I wanted it. How is Kim gonna control all these kids? Like, a hundred of them?
Ashley Hasseltine
I just don't know how. Like, north is 16. You cannot tell me she's 12.
Raina Greenberg
North is older than I am.
Ashley Hasseltine
She's, like, making music also of this. Is she big for her age? And I say that to someone.
Raina Greenberg
Yeah.
Ashley Hasseltine
Yeah.
Raina Greenberg
Like, well, I know it's hard to say because she's so much taller than Kim, but Kim's five, too.
Ashley Hasseltine
But she's, like, the same height as Alondra. Like, as someone who was tall. My nephews. Like, I always looked older. I mean, Jay's three. He looks six.
Raina Greenberg
Like, how tall is Alondra, though? Like, Kim's five too.
Ashley Hasseltine
I'm just saying north, she's got to be tall for her age, which how the fuck.
Raina Greenberg
I mean, if she's even 8 inches bigger than Kim, she looks like a giant.
Ashley Hasseltine
North has to be bigger than Lewis.
Raina Greenberg
Oh, definitely Louis. Kim, her mom's boyfriend is 12 year
Ashley Hasseltine
old north, taller than her mom's Formula 1 racer famous athlete boyfriend. North is towering over.
Raina Greenberg
How tall is he?
Ashley Hasseltine
Like five nine.
Raina Greenberg
Oh, I thought I had a crush on this guy the other day. He's this comedian. I'm watching all of these clips of him. He's so hot. He has a beard, he's bald. I'm like, this is so sexy. He's recently divorced. I'm like, this is my guy. He's hysterical. I'm like flipping through. I said it to our friend Brittany. I was like, what's. I saw. She followed him. I was like, what's the deal with this guy? And she's like, married. I was like, not married, divorced. All right, that's my guy.
Ashley Hasseltine
Yeah.
Raina Greenberg
And then I saw. I thought he was joking about being like 5 4. He really is. And then I saw a photo of him with like Mike Cannon and somebody else and I was like, oh, he is actually 5 4. It's a real jump scare. When you see people alone on stage. It's impossible to know how tall comedians are. You could tell.
Ashley Hasseltine
I think I could think I could tell because of just the way the stage is. And I would look at the length of their legs. I know where the sign is at the DC Improv. I know how much taller I am than the comedy works sign in Denver. I'm like, oh, they're below the sign. Oh, he is below the improv sign.
Raina Greenberg
That's hysterical. Below the improv sign.
Ashley Hasseltine
Also 5 9. I want to backtrack. I don't think of 59 as a short king. Lewis Hamilton, I'm assuming he's 57 and below. 5 8, 5 8, 59 5. Yeah, 558 is on the cusp. But you know, he probably is a little shorter than the Internet says.
Raina Greenberg
Definitely.
Ashley Hasseltine
I feel like really rich famous people get to pay off Google. Okay, so that's your Coachella report. And then weekend two and we'll see what happens. Yeah, it's Justin Bieber going to do the same thing because it was such a surprise. And like, oh my God, this is so dope. But is he gonna. I wonder if he's gonna do the exact same YouTube thing because in that moment he seemed like he was having so much joy he was making jokes like it felt spontaneous even though of course it was planned. But I just. Weekend two, it's not gonna hit the same.
Raina Greenberg
I know but like I hate to compare it to Beyonce cause there were so much choreo and so many dancers and to see that in person live, I'd go anytime. And I've watched that set 15 times.
Ashley Hasseltine
Oh, but she wore two colors, right? Purple and yellow.
Raina Greenberg
I don't. I guess. Yeah.
Ashley Hasseltine
Or I think he has more songs to to pull from.
Raina Greenberg
He already pulled my face.
Ashley Hasseltine
If I were to guess, I think he'll do the YouTube thing, but maybe some different songs in that chunk. Yeah. Okay, just gonna take a quick break and then we will get back into it.
Raina Greenberg

Raina Greenberg
All right, season three of euphoria has dropped six years later. I'm a huge fan of the show.
Ashley Hasseltine
Like I think there's so many new fan.
Raina Greenberg
I am a new, I watch both seasons this year and I love it so much. There's so many, like, big cultural moments and I think some of the best characters that we just iconic characters and some of the biggest actors in the world. And I mean, the premiere happened and then obviously the show was pretty panned, saying, like, what is this essentially? And I was really looking forward to it. And I went into it with an open mind, being like, clearly shot very differently than this was a show about high school kids. Now it looks like a Quentin Tarantino Western. 100% does Labyrinth did all the music for the first two seasons and did not sign on for the third season. So the music is totally different. But I was like, okay, I can keep an open mind about this. I can still enjoy this even though it's not a show about high school kids anymore, which is my thing, which really is your thing. But there's so much fucked up disasters in the first two seasons. So I'm like, I can keep an open mind. Maddie is one of my favorite characters. I love the character of Jules. I was just excited to see what the characters were up to. I think, like a lot of people, I just was like, let down. I just was like, what am I watching? I mean, 80% of the first episode is just Zendaya, who's phenomenal, but it's just her being a drug runner, a drug mule in what looks like a Texas Western. And it's totally disjointed from the rest of the cast who works in Hollywood.
Ashley Hasseltine
Yeah.
Raina Greenberg
And we got three minutes with the rest of the cast, which, like, I want. Jules isn't even in this episode. Maddie, we got like two minutes with her. I just wanted, like, more of the rest of the cast because I get excited to see these other characters. And with Cassie and Nate, like, I don't. The dynamic with these two is that he's the most toxic, violent, rage fueled boyfriend. And she's really submissive and subservient to him. And it's like they gave him lobotomy. She's like, pulling rank on him about the flowers at the wedding. And she's like, you get this for me or I'm Gonna become an OnlyFans model. And he's kind of just like. Like, whatever you gotta do. I mean, this is an abusive, violent character.
Ashley Hasseltine
Could he have grown in six years? Is that kind of what they're like the dynamic has shifted.
Raina Greenberg
Maybe they are gonna allude to that. But, like, this is the most insane character shift I've seen from somebody who, like, was choking out his girlfriend, holding a gun to her head.
Ashley Hasseltine
He's Just a high schooler. It's boys being boys.
Raina Greenberg
Just being silly.
Ashley Hasseltine
Yeah. He was just this. You know, boys. You know, what they do in high school.
Raina Greenberg
Yeah.
Ashley Hasseltine
To just choke people out.
Raina Greenberg
Five years later, they're a totally different person. I also just. I mean, of course he drives a cybertruck, which I thought was really on brand.
Ashley Hasseltine
Was that in the episode?
Raina Greenberg
Yes. He pulls out. Well, because Lexi says that Cassie is in her, like, maga bubble, basically. So he pulls up on a cybertruck, which made me laugh.
Ashley Hasseltine
Okay. I love that.
Raina Greenberg
I don't understand why Cassie and Nate live in, like, a house that looks like it's from, like, the movie casino in 1970s. Like, what is this house? I don't know. I will watch it. I love the show show, and it feels nostalgic to me, but, like, this is not the same show, and I'm confused about the decision to do this. If you want to make a new show, make a new show.
Ashley Hasseltine
Totally. Yeah. I don't know. Was it like a. Where do we go from here? So I don't like this show. It's not for me. I mean, I can respect the art. I gave it a try. I've probably watched three or four episodes. I tried. I started it, which I think is a fair shot. I watched this season three premiere because you told me to, and Shashank actually has watched the first two seasons, and so he wanted to. Anyway, so we watched it last night. I mean, this show just makes me feel bad. And I don't watch only light, happy high schoolers or TV in general. I like darker stuff. I like dramas. This gives me anxiety, and I don't enjoy it. I don't really enjoy the characters. I just don't enjoy the show. It's just not for me. So that's just my opinion. To your point, I think maybe they're gonna do more characters in the next episodes. I guess in the show's defense, they were like, this is Ru's episode. And then the next time you'll see more characters. Like, maybe that's. It's less of a Get everyone equal time, which is not necessarily a format I like. Like, I remember this episode of the Bear, and it was just like, Sidney and she was at, like, her cousin's house, and it was, like, a total departure and I. From what you usually see. And I know what they were trying to do, and I respect it, but it's not for me when they do that. So I'm wondering if they were like, this is. What's the. I don't know.
Raina Greenberg
I think it's called a capsule episode because they put on Girls with Marnie with a panic in Central Park.
Ashley Hasseltine
Okay, well, that's the best episode of TV that's ever been Marnie's episode.
Raina Greenberg
I know.
Ashley Hasseltine
So actually, that's so true. Because that episode of Girls is so legendary, and I feel like other shows are like, we can do it and it doesn't always work. But I'm not even saying that's what Euphoria is trying to do. I'm not saying, like, I don't think it is. We've only seen one episode, so we don't know what they're doing. And I won't continue to watch. This drug balloon scene is one of the most horrific things I've ever seen. And we were just saying that it feels gratuitously disgusting. And then, like, spoiler alert ahead. The one girl shits herself and a dog comes up and fucking licks it. I almost threw up. What are we doing? Like, the. The gagging, the spit, the shit. I was disgusted and I felt like that a lot of times with the show. It just feels gratuitously repulsing.
Raina Greenberg
People were saying that about. I totally agree. I told you. Fast forward through it. Like, Sydney Sweeney being an only fans model. People are like, we've seen. This is so obvious. We've seen this before. Anything to just get Cindy Sweeney naked.
Ashley Hasseltine
I can't. I can't. I can't stand her. This is her best role. It is. This is her best. Born to play this. And I can't. I can't. I can't stand her. I can't stand her on the screen. I just. I don't like the show and I am not shading it.
Raina Greenberg
People love it.
Ashley Hasseltine
I'm in the minority.
Raina Greenberg
I think she actually was pretty phenomenal in the first two seasons. The third season, now, they've given her, like, a set of balls and a personality. I don't. I don't want it.
Ashley Hasseltine
Yeah. I mean, I know the bathroom scene and it was iconic. And she, you know, in her career, I will give her that one scene. She did great one time.
Raina Greenberg
She's great. She's great.
Ashley Hasseltine
Season two, she touched this character once. It was great. And anyway, I guess we'll just see how it plays out.
Raina Greenberg
Yeah. We're not going to cover it every week, but. And I appreciate you watching.
Ashley Hasseltine
And then Labyrinth, I love. And I would listen to the Euphoria soundtrack. I don't even know if it was. Whatever it was. I discovered Labyrinth through Euphoria and I became obsessed. And then he has come out and said he's not involved, like you mentioned, but it was like there was some controversy there. Yeah, he's like, they're on the outs, him and the show.
Raina Greenberg
Okay.
Ashley Hasseltine
So anyway, they played a snippet of the one song, but we're not gonna be hearing anymore. Yeah, I'm not going to be hearing any more of anything because I'm not going to continue to watch.
Raina Greenberg
I'll keep boots on the ground for you.
Ashley Hasseltine
Okay. You want to shock and watch it. Oh, yeah. Okay. So let's just talk about white girls acting out. So Blakely Thornton posted something like, white girls are back. Like, white girls are doing what they should.
Raina Greenberg
Like, they're back in their lane.
Ashley Hasseltine
They're in the. Yes, they're back in their lane. Fighting in fighting and, like, giving us the drama. Like, we know we're just being overserved with tea. I can't believe it. We've. We're so blessed.
Raina Greenberg
Yesterday I was like Amanda Batula for the third week in a row. And then I'm like, I'm amped for Amanda.
Ashley Hasseltine
You dressed like Amanda Batula today.
Raina Greenberg
I am. I went to the. I actually, like, I put on moccasins this morning to go get a coffee extra Amanda. To put Amanda Batula.
Ashley Hasseltine
So Amanda and West, we cannot recap the whole thing because if you know this and you care about it, this is for you. If you haven't been keeping up. We are fine if you skip ahead, but we're not going to give the whole backstory, but we are going to give the latest update, which is Amanda is out and about and she is posting again for her mental health.
Raina Greenberg
So she had not posted a statement since her joint statement with west that they are in a situationship and west has been out in these streets. He's been posting on Instagram. I mean, so she posts an Instagram story. It's a photo of her very cute dog, obviously. Like, she's just pandering for my attention.
Ashley Hasseltine
Last week, right? Yes.
Raina Greenberg
And then she posts something. Hi, guys. I'll keep this short and sweet. This is last Friday.
Ashley Hasseltine
She said last Friday.
Raina Greenberg
Blah, blah. I wanted to come back on and say I'm truly sorry to everyone. I. I've disappointed her. She says she's reached out to people individually. We're assuming Sierra, but who's to say, for the sake of my mental health, I'm gonna try to start living life with some sense of normalcy. If you see me out or posting online, please know this is still weighing very heavily on me. I'm not ignoring what's happened or what's unfolded. And she says she'll be at the reunion. She posted this so she could go to the Blind Tiger with West.
Ashley Hasseltine
I'm gonna turn it over to our resident New Yorker to tell you guys about the Blind Tiger, if you don't know.
Raina Greenberg
So first of all, I will say Wes has been, like, running around posting and didn't. A man did not feel the need to be like, just so y' all know, I'll be out in these streets. And I do think if a woman did it, people would crucify them. So I do understand the need to do this.
Ashley Hasseltine
Yes, I understand why she did this. Like, she's like, you're gonna see me out and I'm gonna live my life now. And this is still weighing on me. And we'll get into it at the reunion.
Raina Greenberg
I.
Ashley Hasseltine
The sentiment made sense, but it was so funny to be like, I'm gonna start Instagram storying again and going out and going, I don't know. Most crowded, the Mecca of their fans.
Raina Greenberg
I guess if somebody said to me, what's the most conspicuous place you could go where people in their late 20s and mid-30s go that watch this show, that have phones and are Instagramming Tiktoking. I would say the first of all, the West Village in general, but the Blind Tiger specifically. And then they went to Emmett's on Grove for dinner. If I were to pick a place that is packed to the walls, can't
Ashley Hasseltine
even hear from across the table, can't move.
Raina Greenberg
I mean, you are begging people. Two places. Emmett's on Grove. I went on a Tuesday night a couple weeks ago. You could not move your body. It was so many people in their early 30s that are of course going to Instagram store you. I was thinking, like, how have they not been Instagram storied? Oh, they're not. I thought they're just not going out. But she's like, I'm going to go out. I'm going to go out as loudly as possible.
Ashley Hasseltine
Yes. Like, they really made a choice. And then I guess at the Blind Tiger, she had a scarf over her head. Like, yes, I am Mrs. Iglesias. Like, literally, she is. I was like, immediately like, she is Kristen Wiig in first class. No, like a literal. What are you doing? Stop. Just own it or not. Like, she has the most pick me syndrome I've ever seen. It is leading every decision she is making. She is blinded by it. Like, she is queen of the Pick me. As I said this before, like, I watched this episode last week, last week at this point, so it would be dated where she told Ben's girlfriend or the girl he's dating, like, well, everybody says he's in love with me. That's a crazy thing to do. That's crazy work. I was with Andrew and Brenna, which is friends of ours who are married, and we were talking about it, and I was like, that's like, when we first met Brenna, that I would have said, well, you know, everybody says Andrew's in love with me. Can you even picture. It's so diabolical. Like. Like, now that I've realized this, that she is completely, chronically, and debilitatingly pick me. It makes so much sense why the moves she's making. When she posted that thing, the original statement, she wasn't thinking about the blowback. She was thinking, I've been chosen. She was thinking, I've been chosen by the house heartthrob. Now at this stage, who. And I'm being chosen over the most beautiful woman that's ever been on the show. Like, she stayed with Kyle. Cause he was like the head honcho, and she was chosen by him. Like, she. Everything she's doing, once I've seen it through this lens, which of course, we knew she was a pick me. But now when I'm realizing just how deep it runs, it makes all her choices make sense to me 100%.
Raina Greenberg
And it's very interesting, that scene with Ben, because first of all, she didn't even say if you guys have. They didn't put the footage of her saying this. So there's actually no proof on the show that she really said this. And in the interview, if you really didn't say it, you would say, if there is proof of this, then why don't you air it?
Ashley Hasseltine
She didn't deny it. She did it.
Raina Greenberg
She doubled down on it. She said, he kept trying to sleep with me at this wedding. And everybody was talking about it. I think you see this a lot with women that are with men that are embarrassing them in public. And they don't feel empowered to stand up to that person. So what they will do is embarrass their partner by publicly going after other men and fishing for attention from other men. I think you see this a lot, and I understand the root of it, which is just like, I'm being embarrassed and I feel terrible. So I'm gonna embarrass him in a different way. I'm not excusing the behavior And I'm not saying she did do this, but there's been clips of people saying, like, you know, she was touching Craig a little bit weirdly. And the whole season, she's all over West. If you, like, they're laying around the couch together and feeding each other. And I think you do, like, see this. It is just so pick me. And, like, when I really think about the fact that these are real people, we know Sierra. She's wonderful. She's humble, she's kind. I can't say enough nice things about her. When I really run the tape and I'm like, this was your really good friend. If this was one of my ex best friends and she's running around with my ex to see this on page 6 every day, people magazine every day. Cosmo, every day. This is my entire feed is photos of Amanda and West. Like, you cannot escape this. Like, this is so unkind. I do understand her being like, you know what? I didn't murder anybody, and I'm divorced and I'll date whoever I want. But, like, this is so mean to do to your friend. You didn't need to go to the Blind Tire. You didn't need to go to Emmett's on Grove. These are the most popular places in New York City. You did actually need to do this.
Ashley Hasseltine
I. I know it's mean. Yeah. And Wes too. Like, even the way he looks now and the, like, those viper shades, like, I'm like, ugh, like, I used to really ride for him, and I'm just so out on this. And, like, Sierra is so above this, and I don't know what's going on through her head, but it's like, oh, my gosh. Like, these people are really looked down upon, and she is like, this queen. And, like, again, it's just like, I always feel a little weird, like, dragging Amanda every week. And she can come out of this, and it's rooted in insecurity and a bunch of other things. Like, like, you can be cured from your pick me syndrome. But, like, so she can, like, reflect and she could be a different person in 10 years, but right now, it's like, she is just really leading with that. It's, like, so obvious.
Raina Greenberg
I agree with you. I saw this Instagram story and I actually was like, I got it, okay. She didn't cheat on her husband. She didn't kill anybody. She's like, you guys, I'm gonna leave the house, and I should be allowed to leave the house. And I was like, all right, good for you, girl. Then she Picked the loudest places you go to. And I was like, man, who.
Ashley Hasseltine
Is she talking to anyone? Or is she just, like, can't tell me nothing? Like, is she consulting anyone? Like, is there a publicist involved? Like, and you know what? Right. I wonder. I wondered if you had this thought. At first, when I saw them step out together, I was like, oh, my God, they're really out together. And then the other part of me is like, they better be. They better be. I mean, Ciara, we missed this moment for the snack. She interviewed Sydney Sweeney on the red carpet and said, like, if your friend stole your ex or whatever, they better get married. You know, Like, I think we're all just, like, they better be together after all of this.
Raina Greenberg
I think that's what everybody said. So I. I hope that they are.
Ashley Hasseltine
All right. So the next white girl drama is Alex Cooper versus Alex Earl. Which, like, we don't. We should probably check. Like, as we record, we still only have, like, the first half of this story.
Raina Greenberg
So whatever, Whatever. Whatever happened, whatever Dave Porto said is happening.
Ashley Hasseltine
So Alex Cooper of Call Her Daddy and the Unwell Podcast Network, which Alex Earle used to be a part of, and they were friends. They appeared to be really good friends and working together. And then they parted. They parted ways. And people were speculating, did something happen or was this amicable? And it was a. Just a contract renewal thing. And then in the recent weeks, months, Alex Earl has been shading Alex Cooper. She reposted a TikTok. That was. It was pretty intense that this woman just went off and was calling Alex Cooper at Grim Reaper and an ambulance chaser because she gets these people to come on her show right after their biggest heartbreaks, which I don't really agree with that. I think these people want to come on the show as they're exclusive, to share their story.
Raina Greenberg
I totally. I mean, I think Ariana Maddox, I think Rachel Kirkconnell, I think Jessie, her name's Draper. Now, I think all those people reach out to the show and that's their exclusive. And I think they're like, I want to get my side of the story out.
Ashley Hasseltine
I swear.
Raina Greenberg
Alex Cooper is an interviewer. That's her job.
Ashley Hasseltine
Yeah.
Raina Greenberg
This is media and press.
Ashley Hasseltine
Yeah. So anyway, I don't really agree with that tape.
Raina Greenberg
I don't either.
Ashley Hasseltine
Alex Earl reposted it. And then she's been in some comments saying, like, there's tea and I'll have the tea. And so Alex Cooper went on TikTok, and two minutes long, I think was just, like, directly addressed Alex Earl. Hey, girl, if you got something to say, say it. You don't have an NDA. You can say whatever happened instead of being vague to make people think something worse happened than it did.
Raina Greenberg
So basically leaves it at like your move, girl. And I watched this and I was like, you know what? Good for her. Good for her for being like, you wanna leave little droplets around social media, then say it with your whole chest. I didn't put you under an NDA. You tell people what happened. Cause Alix Earle's podcast was under the Unwell network for one year and she just didn't renew the contract. And I'm not sure what happened there, obviously, but I don't think she wants
Ashley Hasseltine
to be a podcaster.
Raina Greenberg
Yeah, I think she was too big to be at that network to begin with.
Ashley Hasseltine
Yeah. And that's not what she wants to do.
Raina Greenberg
She was in like two super bowl commercials that year. I mean, she's just too big. But I think that Alex Cooper, I was like, good for her. And then I went to the comments and people were like, this isn't it. People really did not like it. People felt like you also didn't say anything. Yeah, you're perpetuating this. Like, will they, won't they speak out about this? Alex, it was two minutes long. It's long to be like, to also give us no information. And people just did. People really did not like it.
Ashley Hasseltine
Yeah, the message to me was like kind of batty, like a. Kind of like, say what you gotta say, girl. Stop being passive aggressive. You don't have an NDA. Say it with your whole chest. And it should have just been left at that. She continued to go on and on and also be cryptic and also not tell so it. Then I think she put it out there like, I'm bigger and better than this. But then she seemed to fall right into it. And I was surprised by the format. She went on and did a full tick tock. She could have just posted anywhere on the Internet in a comment, something just super casual and it would have taken off the same way. Like if I. She can do whatever she wants. And I think she's a great business sense and I like to think she knows what she's doing. But I would have done this in a comment somewhere a little more chill, cool vibe, let people pick it up. Like, I would have been like, alex can say whatever she wants. She's not. Doesn't have an NDA. Like, leave it at that. She did a whole two minute thing, made you want more information and then didn't give it to you. So. And then Alix Earl commented on that TikTok. Okay, on it. Three exclamation points on it, 24 hours
Raina Greenberg
later, like, give it to us. Yeah, I would like to have this. You know what's really fascinating about. Okay, I don't know, I go back and forth. I, I vacillate, vacillate, oscillate. Who's to say? You can say either between, like, what did I want from her? Cause like, we ask to know everything about celebrities and just like feed on it. But then she defends herself and we also ask celebrities to also just take all the shit, not defend themselves. But I look at this and I'm like, this is beneath her to have made a two minute TikTok saying nothing. But then I'm like, I don't know, like, what would I do in this position? Like, Alix Earle isn't force to be reckoned with. Also. She's her own universe that people cycle around and they're both so huge. So, like, I don't blame her for sticking up for herself, but like, it's just, it's a lot. And the funny thing is they have the same publicist. So I don't know if you know this.
Ashley Hasseltine
Kate Bailey.
Raina Greenberg
Yes, Kate Bailey, who's is still both of their publicists, has been with them for. She was at a line. I don't know if she's gone off on her own, but she is Mario Carbone's girlfriend and she's just like a really famous publicist. She is the goat. And, and it's just funny that these girls have the same publicist. Like, and people are like, how could Alex, how could these girls publicists allow them to do this? I don't think your publicist doesn't live with you. They don't have to sign off on everything. I don't think Alex Cooper wakes up in the morning and texts Kate, like, am I allowed to post this?
Ashley Hasseltine
Are publicists just off work right now? Like, where's Amanda Patula's publicist? Where's Alex? Where's Kate Bailey? Like, where was going. Are they, are they on hiatus right now? Like, this is crazy. And like, again, to your point, it's like, I want to always try to be like, somewhat gentle because this is entertaining us.
Raina Greenberg
Oh, these girls. All these girls are feeding.
Ashley Hasseltine
Exactly. You know, and we're allowed to have thoughts on. And that's what the show is about, is our takes on these things. But like, thank you to them. You know, again, like, I, I'M speaking on what Alex Cooper did is like. I just felt like it was a little unexpected. But this is entertaining us. We're talking about it. It's content. Like, how. How boring would it be if people didn't do shit like this?
Raina Greenberg
It's also just light. It's like some people are like, you're putting your energy into this. Yeah, I am. Because, I mean, I can't give all my energy to MAGA right now and to Trump and Jesus. I mean, I need, like, a break from this sometimes. And these girls infighting Alex versus Alex, they look exactly the same.
Ashley Hasseltine
Can I tell you part? Yes, they look alike, whatever. But I'm so sick of the comment. I thought this was the same person. I'm so tired of it. The first time I saw it, it was funny. The hundred millionth time I saw it, it's not funny anymore. You. You know, they're not. Like, I feel like a couple months back, like, when the breakup happened, that was a funny comment. That was a funny take. Like, I thought these were the same person. Ha ha, ha, ha. Now I'm just like, oh, my. No, you. You know better now. If you're following these accounts and you're in these comments, you know, they're not. But yeah, I'm curious what Alex Earl is going to do. Okay, on it. What is the. Oh, I'm. I'm right on top of that rose from Don't Tell mom the Babysitter is dead. Such a deep cut. Because I was like, I recognize that. And I had to look it up. I to wanted watch. Don't Tell mom the Babysitter's Dead. Every day we would rent it over and over and over. I'm right on top of that rose. Like, that's the energy. Okay, I'm on it.
Raina Greenberg
It's just, I also. I'm surprised by the behavior by Alix Earle because, I mean, listen, I don't know her personally, obviously, but this also feels beneath her to be just, like, picking on Alex Cooper on the Internet. Like, she does seem like somebody who, like, keeps it pretty light. She has all these girlfriends. She's always, like, taking her friends that she grew up with in New Jersey on these trips and, like, on yachts and private planes. And I don't know, she doesn't seem like somebody to me that would be like, dragging another woman. Like, I am really curious, like, what happened here, because it seems not like,
Ashley Hasseltine
I mean, that grim reaper TikTok to repost. That is a real statement. That's a. That is really Like a complete takedown of Alex Cooper's show and brand to call her an ambulance chaser and a
Raina Greenberg
grim reaper, and nobody made her do it. It's not like she was being interviewed on the red carpet and somebody was like, what do you think about this? She woke up and was like, I
Ashley Hasseltine
want this to be on my. In my. On my feed. Okay, well, we. This is a developing story, and I'm just hate that, like, by the time this airs, like, she will have done
Raina Greenberg
something, whatever she says. I think we. I think that this still stands.
Ashley Hasseltine
Okay, so let's just take another quick break and then we'll get back into it. You guys, I am so excited to talk about Blissey. Okay, so silk pillowcases have changed my life. They have changed my hair. I have told you guys that I've been doing some things that's really helped my hair. And I've been getting so many compliments. In New York, people are just like, your hair, your hair especially because it looks better there because of the water. But just like, it is really, really changed. And this is one of the main things I did at the top of the year. And I'm not gatekeeping on the other stuff. I promise I'll. I'll do a series one of these days. Okay, So I was noticing so much breakage, and I was like, I think this is happening in my sleep. I turn around a lot and your. Your hair is rubbing up against whatever your pillowcase is made of. And especially if your hair is dry, which mine is. And we live in a dry climate. And so I just had always thought of silk pillowcases. And Blissey is the number one brand. And also this helps with your skin too. So if you have acne or even those fine lines and wrinkles and sleep creases you get on your face when you wake up. So it helps with all that stuff. So you will have better hair in days. I'm telling you guys, it reduces the frizz, the breakage. It preserves your styles, your color. It's better than satin. So silk is natural, cooling, and gentler on skin. And hair is the highest quality silk. So you need 100 pure mulberry silk. That's what this is. And fully machine washable. There are over 100 colors, over 3 million sold, featured in Vogue, Oprah Daily, Good Morning America, 13 times award winning, amazing gift. I bring them on the road with me. I left one at the Standard. I've since emailed them and be like. Because I would. I'm just like, they probably threw it in with the wash. But I brought it to stay my whole trip to Delaware, New York and I, it has a. It's easy to slip on another pillowcase. I just, I bring this to travel with. It has changed my life. They have sleep masks, bonnets, and also crease preventing scrunchies as well. So the bonnet's not for me. I tried it but I, I just need to be my hair, my head needs to be free. And so the pillowcase is like what works best for me. But a lot of people do bonnets and that, that it works even can work even better for you. Whatever you guys find, whatever works best for you. And Raina loves a sleep mask, of course. And the silk feels really nice on your face.
Raina Greenberg
I have sleep masks. I put one in my guest room too for like my guests. I'm like when you stare like this silk sleep mask. I sleep with sleep mask every night. It feels so nice on my skin.
Ashley Hasseltine
But this is one of the number one things I felt has changed my hair, you guys. I cannot recommend it enough so because you guys are girls. Gotta eat listeners. Ashley Hasseltine
okay, headlines. Let's kick it off with Trump is crashing out yet again, and the Christians are pissed.
Raina Greenberg
Finally, y' all are finally getting on board.
Ashley Hasseltine
If him depicting himself as Jesus is. This is the thing that has finally upset you after the most vile, hateful, most unchristian, like, stuff this man has done for the past decade. Fuck all the way off.
Raina Greenberg
Even for the last 15 days. I mean, if. If sexual assault, child abuse allegations, assaulting children, if this didn't take you out of tweeting, I'm gonna wipe out an entire civilization. You guys are upset that the White House made a little picture of him in AI dressed as Jesus.
Ashley Hasseltine
So he posted this picture of him as very clearly as Jesus. We'll talk about what he said. It was. I was not surprised in the least. I assumed he had done this already. Why is this news? Like, I was like, surely he's already done this. Like, just a couple weeks ago, someone was some minister or somebody was speaking at the White House comparing him to Jesus. All his cult followers think of him as Jesus. Like, I couldn't. This was not shocking to me at all.
Raina Greenberg
He said, I've done more for society than the Pope has. He depicted himself as a Jedi Knight, as a fighter, Superman. Like, how is this any different? I'm. The art that the White House is putting out is insane.
Ashley Hasseltine
Yeah.
Raina Greenberg
So why is this any different?
Ashley Hasseltine
I couldn't believe people are mad about it. And I can't believe Trump backed down.
Raina Greenberg
I never seen it before.
Ashley Hasseltine
I think he should have been like, y' all treat me like Jesus.
Raina Greenberg
I truly can do anything.
Ashley Hasseltine
I can't believe you're surprised by this. So the MAGA is calling him the Antichrist. He's possessed by demons.
Raina Greenberg
Yeah.
Ashley Hasseltine
Welcome to reality. He is the Antichrist.
Raina Greenberg
How is this what got you here, Arch art AI Art.
Ashley Hasseltine
AI Art.
Raina Greenberg
That's what got you guys here. So they deleted it, but.
Ashley Hasseltine
Which doesn't happen a lot. But Trump said he was. He thought the picture was him.
Raina Greenberg
As a doctor, Trump is mentioned in the Epstein files more times than Jesus is mentioned in the Bible. And this is what bothers you guys?
Ashley Hasseltine
Serena. No.
Raina Greenberg
The most famous pedophile in the world is Trump's best fucking friend.
Ashley Hasseltine
So when I.
Raina Greenberg
You guys were like, I don't like this Art.
Ashley Hasseltine
When I saw the clip of him saying, I thought, this is me as a doctor. I hate myself. I laughed out loud.
Raina Greenberg
I. I couldn't believe.
Ashley Hasseltine
He's like, because we support the Red Cross, I'm wearing a red thing. Rena. Like, Jay Jordan said a funny thing. He says, it's not fun, but it's funny.
Raina Greenberg
We're in hell, hysterical.
Ashley Hasseltine
Him saying, I'm a doctor. So have you seen the memes that have come out of this?
Raina Greenberg
I mean, there is a nurse standing next to him in that photo. There is plausible deniability. But there's also floating aliens around his head.
Ashley Hasseltine
So. So we'll post these memes on YouTube. This is one of Jesus walking on water. Need to show you guys this pain. In my doctor water skiing, there's Jesus holding the staff. Just a picture of my doctor about to pull up my iud. This picture of Jesus, like, in the sky. My doctor telling everyone he's out of network. Like, the. This is a Jesus flipping the table at the last Supper. My doctor when insurance denies my claim. Like, this is one of the funniest things I've ever again. It's just so horrific. But like, him saying, oh, no, I'm a doctor. Stop, you guys. I was a doctor. That was me as a doctor.
Raina Greenberg
You guys are stupid.
Ashley Hasseltine
Not me.
Raina Greenberg
You guys don't get it.
Ashley Hasseltine
And then he's beefing with the Pope.
Raina Greenberg
Him and the Pope are in a rap battle. I mean, I. How is this happening?
Ashley Hasseltine
No, it's literally like Alex Cooper versus Alex Earl. Donald Trump versus the Pope. Like, that's what's happening in 2026.
Raina Greenberg
It's like Alex versus Alex Sierra versus Amanda Trump versus the Pope. He's like, I was clearly just healing Jeffrey Epstein.
Ashley Hasseltine
And Pope Leo was like, I'm not scared of you. Like, literally, he's just like, I'm not scared of the President. United States.
Raina Greenberg
You won't survive the flight over here. Come get me.
Ashley Hasseltine
Just don't send JD Vance towards that Pope. Cause he killed the other one. And we love Pope Leo.
Raina Greenberg
Trump is really like the dementia experts. Are weighing. And, I mean, he really was crashing out that night. So I think from 9pm till 4am that night, he was just on a tweeting storm. Just a tear all night long. Just incoherent ramblings. He's just up all night. And Trump is sober, mind you. He doesn't drink, so he did this sober.
Ashley Hasseltine
So this is called Sundowning.
Raina Greenberg
And this is where Ashley's like, as somebody who doesn't go sleep at night either.
Ashley Hasseltine
The actual doctors and nurses, not the Jesus ones, but they're weighing in in some of the comments, some of Aaron Parnas's comments. And someone was like, my dementia patients, when the sun goes down, they're climbing the walls. Like, he. They get crazier at night, like werewolves. This is. I looked it up. Like, yes, in the nighttime, they act more erratic and they do these things. It's called sundown drowning. It's so obvious. They're climbing the walls.
Raina Greenberg
People voted for this. And it's like, they're like, this went too far. We didn't. How did you not know? We told y'.
Ashley Hasseltine
All.
Raina Greenberg
Everyone told you guys.
Ashley Hasseltine
And it's just like, I hate, like, even joking. Dementia is horrifying.
Raina Greenberg
I thought you were gonna say I hate joking because, like, this is the President. And how sad is this? You're like.
Ashley Hasseltine
You're like.
Raina Greenberg
Like, think of the dimension.
Ashley Hasseltine
Grandma had dementia. Like, we just. A family friend just died.
Raina Greenberg
Like, it's. It's horrible.
Ashley Hasseltine
But him, it's just. It's so obvious what's happening. And they are calling for him to get a, like, mental fitness test and stuff. But anyway, I can't believe this is
Raina Greenberg
where we're at every day.
Ashley Hasseltine
Okay. And the space mission. So we. I was just upset we didn't talk about this last week, but the Artemis 2 space mission is complete. This was historical in a lot of ways, in terms of the length of time, what they were able to complete. But the first woman to travel around the moon was Christina Koch. You know, I get confused.
Raina Greenberg
The reason that we even went to the moon is news to me, so say whatever you want.
Ashley Hasseltine
So Christina Koch is the first woman,
Raina Greenberg
the former mayor of New York.
Ashley Hasseltine
Yeah. But, you know, sometimes they say cock, I get all up. Okay, Christina Koch. No, I don't wanna do her like that. So she achieved this milestone as a mission specialist on NASA's Artemis 2. And a lot of the content I saw was, the last time we went to the moon, women couldn't open a credit card without a man. So it's just really One big step for womankind. But a lot of great things happen. It was so heartwarming. I just saw a video of her returning home to her dog. It was also the first person of color to go to the moon. And just these incredible things happen. It was just so feel good. And I just read this book, Taylor Jenkins Reid, called Atmosphere. Did you read Atmosphere?
Raina Greenberg
I started it. You know, I haven't finished a single book this year, except for Strangers.
Ashley Hasseltine
My first book, Atmosphere, is incredible. And she worked with a lot of people at NASA to give all this accurate information. And you just have to read if you care about space at all, even if you don't. I learned a lot and I really love this book. And it's a love story.
Raina Greenberg
One of our favorite authors ever of all time.
Ashley Hasseltine
But I did wonder why they didn't get out. You think it's fake?
Raina Greenberg
You think it's a fake?
Ashley Hasseltine
No, I just. I didn't understand why they, like, spun the block and, like, didn't get out of the car.
Raina Greenberg
I don't know anything about space, so I don't know how space works. Maybe it's hard to get out of the car.
Ashley Hasseltine
So that was never the point. So this was designed as a flight test, not a landing mission. Okay, so this was the first human deep space flight in 50 plus years. Record breaking distance. The crew surpassed the Apollo 13 record. Love that movie. For the most distance crewed spaceflight in history. Again, the first woman and the first person of color, Victor Glover. And then this safe return. You saw them, like, landing in. There's the splashdown. Raina, you didn't see anything. Who do you follow?
Raina Greenberg
What day was it?
Ashley Hasseltine
The splashdown was April 10th. It was just a couple days ago. You were sick? I guess.
Raina Greenberg
Was that Thursday?
Ashley Hasseltine
Yeah, I think so.
Raina Greenberg
That was the sickest day that I've had of my whole sickness. I really was.
Ashley Hasseltine
This was like a week of content. Okay. Anyway, so Raina missed all that.
Raina Greenberg
I'm like a man. When I get sick, it's just like the whole world crumbles down.
Ashley Hasseltine
Yeah. But. Yeah, so they were never going to land on the moon. This was a test flight and they're gonna go back. This was to ensure for safety for more complex landings. So I didn't realize how intense it was to like go to the moon until I did read Atmosphere. Like, I didn't think it was easy, but this book really educated me in how intense it is. And so I had had a more appreciation of this Artemis 2 since reading
Raina Greenberg
that book because of Taylor, Jen's Read. I mean, I don't know anything about space.
Ashley Hasseltine
All right, we got to move on. Raina does not care.
Raina Greenberg
No. Okay. You know, I feel like you learned about space from atmosphere the way I learned about, like, sailing yachts from below deck.
Ashley Hasseltine
True.
Raina Greenberg
I feel like I can drive. Drive a boat now. And you're like, I know about space.
Ashley Hasseltine
Okay. And then lastly, we do it. We shouldn't end it on such a sad note. But. But the Love on the Spectrum couple, Abby and David confirmed their breakup.
Raina Greenberg
I mean, they were together for five years. That's a long time. Substantial relationship. And what she said that she was ready to get married and he wasn't.
Ashley Hasseltine
Just get married. Like, I don't know. I wonder what was holding him back. Like, they obviously were in love. I mean, I don't want to speculate in their relationship, but I want to, like, respect them. But it was about that. Like, he wasn't ready to get married after all this.
Raina Greenberg
He's not timed out yet. More pussy to get. He was like, I'm trying to be on that next season.
Ashley Hasseltine
I hate you. All right, guys, Reyna is going rogue. I can feel it. So we're gonna end this.
Raina Greenberg
You know when you, like, take a kid out to dinner and like, you're like, at the end of the meal, you're like, they have hit the wall in terms of their behavior. It's over, guys.
Ashley Hasseltine
Raina is sundowning and so
Raina Greenberg
I'm ready for a nap. You know where kids just go, go
Ashley Hasseltine

Release Date: April 16, 2026 | Hosts: Ashley Hesseltine & Raina Greenberg
In this punchy edition of “The Snack,” Ashley and Raina deliver a fast-paced, hilarious debrief on the latest in pop culture—from Coachella tales and influencer drama, to the much-anticipated return (and reinvention) of “Euphoria,” and the wild Trump-as-Jesus meme debacle. There's also a light roast of relationship dynamics in the Bravo-verse (Amanda vs. Ciara), deep dives into girlboss YouTube launches, and hearty opinions on influencer feuds. Come for the pop culture analysis, stay for the unfiltered hot takes.
The hosts are brutally funny, self-deprecating, and sharp—unafraid of hot takes, unapologetic about their preferences, and always able to see the absurdity in influencer and political drama. They openly debate, roast, and reflect on why certain pop culture phenomena hit their feeds, checking their own privilege and aging out of festival fads, while indicting media and fan culture as much as the celebrities themselves.
This episode is a quintessential “Snack”—quick, breezy, and loaded with astute observations. Ashley and Raina turn messy headlines into smart, laugh-out-loud analysis, making the episode a must-listen for anyone wanting to keep up with (and genuinely understand) the latest in pop culture, girl world, and the wild world of 2026 internet drama.
