Los angeles. Hi, kirby.
B
Hi, sarah.
A
Welcome to los angeles. I would love to start this podcast out by saying that I love your eyes, Kirby. I think you have beautiful eyes. I really do. Truly. I know that you have been getting some comments about your eyes. I have looked into your eyes more than probably almost as much as I've looked into Matt's eyes and my children's eyes. I have no negative things to say about your beautiful eyes.
B
Thank you. However, many of Kristen Cavallari's fans have pointed out the fact that I don't close my eyes all the way, assuming that I am overfilled and have too much Botox. And this is why people shouldn't talk about things they don't know about, because I was born with congenital ptosis, which is just something that people have. It's basically like the muscle in my eyebrow area that lifts my eyelid is atrophied. So I had remedy surgery to help me see better. Because basically, from the time I was born until I had the surgery, I could only see from basically, like, mid pupil down. If I wanted to see anything higher, I had to tilt my head back, and there was the potential that I could have gone blind, developed lazy eye, all of these things. And so my mom opted to have the remedy surgery. If you see me up close, have ever met me in person, I have tiny little scars at two separate points in each of my eyebrows where they took out a tendon in my leg and cut them into four little pieces to help lift my muscle within my eye. Okay. So now when I close my eyes, and this is why actually I got into the beauty industry and why I love makeup so much, is because I don't have a full eyelid when I close my eyes. That is the extent of my lid. A lot of people that have been on this podcast, for instance, Trinny Woodall.
A
Yep.
B
She's like, you have a hooded lid. I didn't correct her. But I don't have a hooded lid. Yeah, I have. This is my eyelid. It's actually more similar to Sarah's eyelid as a monolith.
A
Yeah.
B
Than it is to a hooded lid. So this is the space I have. And I feel like when makeup artists would do my makeup at the beginning of my career and they would make my eyes look smaller because they didn't understand how to actually do my eye makeup.
A
Yeah.
B
That's why a lot of the times when we are offered professional makeup artists to come do our makeup, I opt out because I know how to do my makeup. I think better than a lot of these makeup artists do.
A
Yeah.
B
And it's why, when I find a makeup artist, I stick to them like it's Melissa Herkman or no one, basically.
A
Totally.
B
The fact that so many people were like, well, you can't even close your eyes because you have so much Botox. And I'm like, remember that time that Chadwick Boseman died because he had cancer? This is a very separate thing from that. And obviously, the gravity is different. But you are saying that I am a certain way.
A
Right.
B
When actually it's something I was born with.
A
Right.
B
And you probably should not be being rude about.
A
Honestly, it is absolutely wild. How vicious some of these people who know nothing about you or us and. And the vile things they are saying. Please Instagram, give us the ability to mute the comments and the notifications.
B
Yeah, because I don't want to turn off the comments. That's our engagement, babe. But I don't want to be waking up every morning hearing that I need a blepharoplasty. I told Sarah and Alexa that I had to remove myself as a collaborator from that post because I called someone a. I did. Straight up. I said, I have congenital ptosis. You absolutely. And I deleted the comment and then removed myself from the entire thing. I saw you do that.
A
Like, these people who are talking to each other as if we're not in the room and not seeing it and getting notifications. I. I could never be super famous. Like, I could never.
B
No, I. This. This entire situation. And I told Sarah this because last week, when it really started, this, you know, Kristin Cavallari video started taking off. Sarah's like, oh, my gosh. So many people are commenting about your eyes. And I'm like, sarah, you didn't even know me when I was in the throes of YouTube @POPSUGAR. And the kinds of comments I received on a regular basis about my eyes. There was a period of four years where when I was on camera, I kept my eyes open. I looked like a deer in headlights because I was terrified to blink on camera because so many people would call out that I had weird eyes. What is wrong with her eyes? I had people calling me the ugliest person they've ever seen. Yeah, I have been through the trenches. So now it's stuff like that where I don't think those things about myself, but I don't want to see them from other people either. It's just not helpful for anybody.
A
There were also just so many comments on top of these awful Comments about you, just people misunderstanding the point of the conversation. What we said, like, taken out of context. And also just like dying on this hill, that sunscreen is poison and that they spilled it on their grass and the grass died. Therefore, sunscreen is going to kill us all.
B
And someone made a great point. Grass needs sun to survive. Like, what kind of dumb asses have we created in this country?
A
Although our skin totally different than grass.
B
I just want to be so for real, though, the fact that all of these people are calling us mean girls and they made me laugh.
A
So mean.
B
Right? And then, not to mention, Kristen Cavalieri got famous for being a mean girl.
A
Yes. She was the token mean girl.
B
She was. Whether she actually was in real life or not. That was the character that she played on the show. And she very much leaned into the villain narrative. So I think Kristen Cavalieri is fine. Like, she doesn't need little minions coming after us, calling us ugly. And I just want to be very clear as well that being born genetically blessed does not make you an expert in toxicology.
A
No, absolutely not.
B
Let's end it there.
A
Yeah, we'll end it there. Also, maybe we should get someone like, should upnique sponsor this podcast because we're both eyelid challenged.
B
Are you island challenged?
A
I mean, I.
B
Have you ever used up Neek?
A
No, I still haven't.
B
I need to try Upneek, I think, should be a part of this podcast. I use Upneek regularly and I think
A
I could benefit from it. I shouldn't call myself eyelid challenged, however, it has been a insecurity of mine all my life. So there you go. We'll say that.
B
I would love to see how it works for you. It definitely works for me. I've turned so many people on.
A
You have?
B
Matt Rez, my hair colorist, just texted me yesterday saying I don't think I need a bluff anymore or love that. He also was kind of like, but maybe I do because it actually works so well. I know what my eyes would look like. Yeah. And then I can't name them on the podcast, but, oh, yeah. Two very high profile celebrities use up Neek now because of me. We were told by their glam teams. So I'm just saying up neat. Get involved.
A
We need your help.
B
Apparently. Turn. Yeah, yeah. Turn a really bad situation into a good one. Okay.
A
Okay.
B
We went to the World Cup. We went to opening.
A
Opening day ceremony. Wow. That was. It blew my mind. It totally blew my mind. Our seats could not have been closer. We were basically on the field, on the pitch. We saw like, oh my God, the biggest stars of the world. Tom frickin Cruz.
B
Guys, I don't care what anybody says. Seeing Tom Cruise in person, I had never seen him in person before. I was shook.
A
He was like presidential level.
B
Yes.
A
People were crying.
B
Yes.
A
He was waving at people. Like, he, he. He seemed just like such a lovely man.
B
Yeah. I mean, he was signing stuff for people. They were taking selfies from like the ground where he was. It was like him. David Beckham, Victoria, whose hair looked amazing. And Anya, Taylor, Joy and Cat's Eye. Oh, and Cat's Eye. Yes.
A
I was like, yes. Kirby, we have to go ask Cat's Eye for a photo. They were really sweet. No. Everyone looked so stunning. Then we saw Hillary Duff was somewhere.
B
Hilary Duffers. Yeah. Oh, the Biebers were somewhere there.
A
Everyone was at this game.
B
It was a really fun game to be a part of. We have to thank Paula's Choice because they are the official sponsor.
A
Oh.
B
Of not even FIFA.
A
What? Not degree.
B
I mean, I think it's like unilateral. Paula's Choice is like a big one. I saw a big billboard on Melrose, I think.
A
Oh, good for them.
B
They. And then they also did a big game in New York.
A
Right, right.
B
So Paula's Choice is really. And they also were telling us that Paula's Choice, in order to go to these games, Unilever, wouldn't let them attend unless they bought a certain type of ticket.
A
Oh, yeah.
B
So their tickets were great.
A
Yeah.
B
They basically were like, you're not taking anybody unless you're giving them the presidential service.
A
Yeah. No, it was incredible. So thank you. Francis. Janice. Paula's Choice, that was unforgettable. Truly. And then us scored four goals.
B
I know, it was fab. It was so much fun.
A
We couldn't have asked for a better night. So thank you.
B
Just a follow up on the new FDA approved sunscreen filter. BMT or parcel shield. We had asked how it was going to be available in the US by summer. So the supplier, DSM Firmanich, they have an 18 month exclusivity on it. And so I was looking up like, okay, what sunscreens does.
A
Yeah.
B
Do they Firmenich make? Not many. I'm super familiar with like not name brand. But then I was told that brands like Neutrogena and you know, other brands are going to be licensing it to help expedite that process. I don't know what that means for like our favorites that we already know and love from across the world. But yes, I think this is Going to be like a. A slow trickle down effect. So I feel like maybe in 2027 we'll be on like a really good path. But just wanted to put that out there. I was looking up, like, I know what sunscreens does the supplier make, and it wasn't anything. I mean, at least in my research on their website, there wasn't anything that I could find that was name brand that I was like, oh, great, it's, you know, biore or how did they get the exclusive? Well, because they're the ones that brought it.
A
Oh, they're the ones that brought it.
B
Yeah.
A
18 months. That's kind of long.
B
I mean, good for them. I mean, if you're gonna spend all this money to make this happen, then I think you should have an exclusivity.
A
Yeah.
B
But that's why Ken View is going to be licensing it. I'm sure other large brands will do that as well.
A
I want to know what everyone's sunscreen of choice is for the summer. I like, always. You have one Currently, Pipette just sent me like their big. Their mineral sunscreen in a pump. And currently we're using that. And I love it.
B
Okay. The sunscreen that I've been using on my face non stop that I am really obsessed is the brand new one from Tatcha.
A
Oh, I know, Isn't it? Oh, Chef's kiss.
B
I know, but it's so expensive. But I just. I like the way it feels on my skin. It is. And you guys know I like the blue one that they have, right. The original that they made all those years ago. Then they came out with the silk
A
canvas version Y, which no longer, I don't think. Right.
B
Oh, is it gone? I think it's still there.
A
Okay.
B
I don't like that one.
A
But this one, it's like, why would you even. Because this one is like so much better.
B
It dries with a satin finish. It's not oily. It doesn't feel like a primer, like smells good. It just. I am obsessed with it. So that's been the one I've been using on my face.
A
You know which one I've also been using on my face is the peach and lily one. We got My world.
B
I need to try it.
A
I have it so good.
B
Okay. I need to try it because I have it. I'm finishing my Tatcha.
A
Yeah.
B
And then for my body, similar to you with the pipette.
A
Yeah.
B
I have a large ultraviolet and a large vacation sunscreen pumps.
A
I love summer because everyone's like, do you need a restock on your sunscreen. I always look forward to the Neutrogena mailer because they send literally, like everyone. Every, like every type. And then I just got the vacation one. I need to open it.
B
It's so good. Yeah. Because vacation's at Sephora now.
A
We love sunscreen.
B
Well, we have entered the summer season.
A
It is heating up in L. A.
B
And because it's summer, we are going to break down getaways, trips. What you should pack what you can bring. I love shopping on Macy's. I'm not kidding. I'm not just saying that. I get on the dot com every other day to be like, oh, what kind of sale is going on?
A
There's always a sale.
B
Always a freaking sale. We are gonna break down fashion, travel, and of course, beauty accessories that we're shopping for at Macy's for the four biggest summer travel scenarios.
A
Yeah.
B
This is kind of biased because it's like our personal summer scenarios.
A
But I feel like this fits with everyone too. There is a weekend getaway. You're going somewhere, hopefully maybe you're traveling internationally. You're probably going to a concert. You're probably going to the pool or the beach.
B
So let's kick things off with the weekend getaway. If you need a good weekender bag.
A
Yes.
B
There is no shortage of them. They are so cute.
A
So cute.
B
The one that I thought was especially cute was the Samsonite. Better than basic duffel.
A
Yes.
B
This looks like a base bag.
A
I know. I feel like they might have ripped them off. I feel like they might rip them off. Cuz I feel like this is very much a bay model with the compartment at the bottom.
B
The compartment at the bottom is a total game changer in my opinion. For the shoes or little zip compartment.
A
Yes. Sometimes I'll put my. If I'm bringing my computer, which hopefully you're not when you're going on a weekend getaway. Things that are bulky that you just don' Want to touch the other things.
B
Yes, perfect.
A
It comes in like all these really cute neutral colors, like chocolate, mauve, light pink, olive green. I think this was an Olivia Culpo collab.
B
Oh, okay.
A
Yeah.
B
And it has the strap that you can put over your suitcase handle if you are bringing a carry on type thing.
A
Yeah, that's like. That needs to be standard right now.
B
They gotta figure this stuff out.
A
Yeah. Sometimes it like without it. What are you doing?
B
Yeah, yeah.
A
What are people calling? Yeah.
B
Wild. Then you have to have a makeup organizer for a weekend trip. And Sarah and I love folio Cases for makeup bags. Yes. So many brands have started making these, but they have this really cute one from Boutique. It's this plush makeup case. And the reason why I found it was because I was looking up terry cloth makeup bags. If there were any road dupes.
A
Oh, smart.
B
There weren't, but then this one popped up and it just looks like this little.
A
Like a teddy bear.
B
Teddy bear?
A
Yeah.
B
And it has a zipper. And you open it up and there's these little compartments for all of your things. And it just makes it easier, especially if you're only going to be gone for two days. You're like, okay, eyeliners and lip liners here.
A
Yep.
B
My small travel foundation and concealers here.
A
Yep.
B
My lips done.
A
Honestly, I haven't unpacked my whole, like, makeup collection yet. And I've just been living with my makeup bag.
B
Because you moved.
A
Because I moved. I feel like, because everything is organized and I'm just like, this is actually all I need every day.
B
I agree. I'm like, do I get rid of every single thing in my bathroom and just go based off of this makeup bag?
A
Because that's like, all you really need day to day. It's your favorites. It's the ones that you continue to reach for. Yeah. And I just love that it's so organized.
B
Yes.
A
Don't throw everything away because there are things that you'll still need for a night out and what have you. But it really does, like, mentally remind you, like, oh, I don't really need everything.
B
You curate it for this folio makeup case, which.
A
But this one is so, so cute.
B
Cute.
A
Okay. We also threw in a pair of chic sandals. Love our man, Steve Madden.
B
And we love jelly. So it's.
A
This is a jelly thong kitten heel. So I think I have the non jelly version. And I will say very comfortable sandals. They're super. Like, the heel is tiny, but. But it just gives you that perfect amount of height. And the jelly thong, like, it comes in so many cute colors. You can bring it to the pool. You can bring it anywhere. It's waterproof because it's jelly.
B
I really need Steve to make a knockoff version of the Jelly Mules from Chloe.
A
Okay.
B
Because those are $600.
A
I'm sure it's in the works if it's not already available.
B
But I really, really want them. And there's no dupes of them. And I'm like, Steve, man, come on.
A
Yeah, it's coming.
B
He needs a few months on delay.
A
He needs a few months. Fasten your seatbelts. Is that what they say? No. What do they say on the.
B
Fasten your seatbelts, put your tray tables in the upright position.
A
Oh, yes.
B
Yeah.
A
Turn off all your electronic devices because airplane mode. Going international.
B
Where are you headed, Sarah? Europe, Asia or long haul travel?
A
In my dreams. Yeah, I'm going to. I'm going to Asia or Australia.
B
I want to go to Australia so, so bad.
A
Or listen, everyone's going to Korea. Take me with you.
B
I know everyone's in Korea.
A
This summer is literally, like I was telling Matt, especially in our world of beauty. It used to be you would fly to Paris, right?
B
Yes.
A
Now Korea. It's Korea. Literally everyone is going to Korea.
B
Y.
A
So take us with you. What do you need when you go on an international vacation?
B
Okay. This requires a lot of planning.
A
Yes.
B
And I could spend a whole day packing same. I. I try not to, but, you
A
know, it requires a lot of thought. You don't want to bring too many things. Even though I am an overpacker, I usually do, but I still like to have it organized. I like to use the little.
B
Yes.
A
Categories. The packing cubes. Thank you.
B
Yes.
A
And I like to bring a crossbody.
B
Crossbody is important. Something that you can hang around your person.
A
Yes.
B
So that you can see it, you can feel it.
A
Yes, exactly.
B
So you can access.
A
Did you have a Kipling bag growing up?
B
Yes. My aunt gave me a Kipling bag when I was like, 13.
A
Kipling, the monkey walked so Labubu could run.
B
Oh, wow. Wow. Yes. And do they have, like a Kipling charm? Mine didn't.
A
The monkey.
B
No.
A
My sad.
B
It was really cute.
A
The monkey matches the bag.
B
Oh, my God, that is cute.
A
Yes, It's. It's definitely, like, very on trend right now. But what we love about Kipling is that it's very practical. Lots of compartments. The one that we're specifically referring to is the Gabby. It has an adjustable strap. It can pack literally and fit everything you absolutely need. It comes in so many cute colors. It's nylon. So you don't have to worry. You know, sometimes with the leather, you're worried about the weather or, you know, scratching it. Like this is very lightweight and small and cute.
B
I love nylon bags.
A
Yes.
B
A nylon bag gets me going. I'm not kidding. It makes me excited. I'm just like, I want everything. If it's a nylon bag, I want. Also, I was going to say there are packing cubes on Macy's.
A
Oh, okay.
B
So if you are looking for a packing cube, they just make everything so much easier. It's like all my socks, underwear, bras, and this.
A
Yep.
B
Then pants.
A
Y.
B
Then dresses. It just makes it seamless. And then also when you're unpacking, you know, like.
A
Okay, yeah, I like to put, like, my dirty clothes in. In, like, the unused one. You know, it's. Yeah. It really does make everything so you don't forget anything.
B
Exactly. Okay, so we have a crossbody, a baseball cap. Sarah, you're the one that added this. Why baseball cap?
A
Because sometimes you don't want to do your hair. Even you're in a hotel, you got to run downstairs.
B
Yes.
A
And you're like, I'm just going to throw on a baseball cap and run. So I put the polo Ralph Lauren men's chino hat. It's one that you've been seeing everywhere. All the models, all the famous actresses are wearing it. It's classic. Can't go wrong with it.
B
And then, of course, hydrating Skincare, they have the new Prada reflection glossy lip balm.
A
I need to try this.
B
I am so excited. I placed an order. I'm not kidding. I got virtual pink, I think is what it's called. It's this glossy liquid balm. So if you like their regular lip balms, this is the gloss version. They have a banana shade. Clearly was calling my name.
A
I really want Chocobot.
B
I know. That looks really cute, so includes hyaluronic acid and squalane to help with hydration. And then I also was going to suggest the Chanel Hydra Beauty micro lip serum. If you have chapped lips, if you were out in the sun too long and your lips are extremely dry, flaking, I cannot recommend this lip serum enough. I will wake up with such dry lips that I have, like, that white ring around my inner corner. And I'm like, this is disgusting. But then one day, I said, effort. I want to try this micro lip serum because Chanel just launched their summer collection, which, by the way, you can buy all of it on Macy's.
A
Yep.
B
They ended up sending it to me. It's so, so cute.
A
My gosh, I need it.
B
And the micro lip serums they now have, there's like, the blue one, but then they also made, like, a pink and a yellow one.
A
Do they taste different?
B
I haven't tried them. I just before I got the summer collection, I bought the blue one.
A
Okay.
B
And the blue one, it really is a lipstick serum. So it's something that you would apply and then let set. And then you would put your regular lip product on top.
A
Right.
B
So if you feel like, you need that extra punch of hydration. It's supposed to hydrate, plump and soothe your lips for 24 hours. You can use it alone, but I like to use it as like a lip primer. So I would apply this and then the glossy lip balm, which I haven't tried yet, but it's on the way to me.
A
Like, press it in.
B
Yep.
A
Okay. Oh, I need to try that for
B
your most luscious juicy lips ever. Okay. This one's extremely relevant to our interests because we're attending a lot of them, concerts and events like Ariana Grande, the World Cup. There's festivals, there's so many stadium tours. I think the Jonas Brothers are still touring.
A
Oh, my gosh.
B
These people don't.
A
Hardest working Brothers.
B
Jonas Brothers. What are you then they have a podcast, by the way. Have you listened to the podcast? I laugh out loud. It is so funny. Enough about the Jonas Brothers. They have enough attention. Jesus. Okay, so you have to have a clear bag these days when you're going to these events.
A
Yes.
B
I am obsessed with the clear bag because then I can literally look and be like, there's my Listerine strip.
A
Yes.
B
There's my little compact with my foundation that I like.
A
I didn't lose my card.
B
Oh, I have $40 in here that I didn't see. It's great love.
A
So it's really cute too.
B
Yeah. There's a lot of different options that are not ugly because remember for a time when we'd go to so and they'd be like, you need a clear bag. I'm like, these are so ugg.
A
Yeah.
B
I don't want to buy this because it's so ugg.
A
Yeah, no, I know. They're really cute now.
B
They're really cute. Of course. Steve Madden. Madden on this podcast. We freaking love this, man. He's amazing.
A
I'm surprised there is it Is there Steve Madden Beauty. I'm surprised.
B
I would die. Would you to work with Steve Madden on a beauty line? You know how we're kind of like anti dupe in a way, but he's like the one dupe that we.
A
Steve man and Beauty and they just duped everything.
B
No, no. What if Steve Madden Beauty was actually. I love that we're pitching this out loud. What if Steve Madden Beauty was instead of dupes? They were truly the innovators that everybody else was duping.
A
Oh, that. I. Yeah. I don't think that would be Steve's model, but sure.
B
Listen, Steve, we can help you. That would be my crown achievement in life if we worked with Steve Madden on a beauty line.
A
Yeah, let's do it.
B
I see the vision. This is a good idea, Sarah. Thank you. I see this vision. Okay, so Steve Madden. Steve, the be gummy. The be gummy satchel handbag.
A
So I like this because it is like a gummy bear. It's not completely see through. So actually not sure if this is like fully stadium approved. I know I look clear enough, but it's a jelly.
B
I saw this because for the World Cup I was like, I want something cute.
A
Yeah.
B
Could I get away with this pink jelly bag? I don't want to.
A
I don't know if the colors are. I feel like the security guards are like trained to be like, it has to be clear white.
B
I agree. And also the amount of security around the World cup, like I'm very, I've gotten very anxious about all of it. Very stressed about this. Like random email saying that there was like a security threat and then they're
A
like, just kidding, practicing.
B
Let's not, let's not do that again.
A
So don't mess around. Bring your clear. And this goes for most concerts, most stadiums, any game, sporting event.
B
So but like if you want to press your luck, the Steve Madden be.
A
I think you could get away with this one. It's also small enough.
B
Yes. And then there's.
A
Yes. You picked a one that is approved.
B
Yes. This one's called Baggallini.
A
Yes.
B
Have you ever used Bagglini? I love baggling.
A
I think I have a Baggalini.
B
If you're a mom, you know about that. We need a Baggalini dog mom, real child mom. You know Baggalini, you know their game. So this is a crossbody. It is built specifically for stadium and venue compliance. So it's the right size, it's completely clear, it has a secure zip closure and an adjustable strap. And it's just like really cute.
A
Really cute. Okay. Great. For a concert that's outdoors. For a game that's outdoors, you're going to need some sun protection. And we're talking about your eyeballs. Sunglasses. So as I was scrolling I was like, I used to have these and I lost them. Where are they? No, no, that's what I remembered. So they're not the standard Wayfarers, which we love the Ray Bans classic. These are the mega ones. They're like a little bit bigger. I'm really just so glad that the teeny tiny sunglass trend is done because it just really didn't suit my face. And also because the best thing about sunglasses is Covering your face. I don't want to be seen. Don't talk to me. Megawayfairs.
B
Okay. I picked the unisex, oval, polarized, super cute. So these are actually smaller, but they're not like.
A
Remember the teeny tiny ones?
B
Yeah, but I kind of like those. I have a pair that are super reflective that I wear, but they're more for. They're not for utility. They're more for just like fashion.
A
Yes, exactly. Which I'm fine with that. But like, when you're driving around L. A. You know what I mean?
B
You need like the eye protection. I get it. So I like this oval frame shape. I think it's really flattering. It's very retro leaning.
A
It's very cute.
B
And obviously these are both Ray Ban.
A
Yeah, we love.
B
Who else? And then lastly, you need long wear beauty products. You don't want to be like adding something in the middle of a concert or event. I plan on going to this World cup games with my makeup done and I'm not touching it.
A
No, no one has time for that. No, we're jumping around.
B
I don't want to worry about a bathroom situation. I'm like, scared to leave my seat.
A
Same. I don't want to get lost.
B
Yeah.
A
So what's in your bag for long wear?
B
There is this double ended Chanel lip product that I am obsessed with. They've had it forever.
A
Yeah. It's like it's part of their OG repertoire.
B
And it's the LaRouge Duo Ultra Tenu. Is that how you say that?
A
Yeah, Tenu. Yeah.
B
And like I said, it's dual ended. So one side is this full coverage matte liquid lip. They are not joking. It is on.
A
It's on.
B
It's on. And it's like it is dry.
A
Yeah. So use the serum first. Then once that dries down, put this on.
B
Yes. And then on the other side is a gloss, a clear gloss with the brush so that it helps to kind of rehydrate your lips in a way.
A
Yeah.
B
But it does not move. I don't know what the technology is, but it doesn't get messy. It literally just stays put and it gives you that glossy finish, which is
A
fab 16 hour test wear. Wow.
B
I love it. I have it in my purse right now. Oh, very, very good.
A
Okay. Then we also have the urban decay 24.7liquid stick.
B
We both love this product.
A
Yes. It's really good. Honestly, it's the best one out there.
B
I agree.
A
Because there was a bunch that launch at the same time. And this One is the one that actually stays put.
B
Yes, it does. It's a stick, but it does stick. It dries down very quickly. So we would suggest applying it to one eye, kind of perfect. Cleaning it up and then going to the other side. Because if you try to do both at the same time, you may not like that over. Yes. But this is really great too, for tight lining. Like, it stays in your waterline.
A
Yeah.
B
And looks really, really good. There's so many different shades. I go through the brown one.
A
Like, I know water. They need to make it.
B
I know they make it a foot long.
A
You're like. I'm like, let me just.
B
I'm trying. I tried to put it on my face from like six or like.
A
Is there like a way that you could refill it? That would make sense. Probably not.
B
I know, like, if there was a refill mechanism, I think that would be a total game changer.
A
Probably cost just as much. And it's also not sustain. Whatever. Anyways, we'll just get another one.
B
It's absolutely fabulous. It says it's supposed to last 24 hours. It is waterproof and it is smudge proof. You do need an oil based eye makeup remover in order to get it off. But I'm personally obsessed with the brown. They have black. They have this one called I believe denim wash, and it's this periwinkle sparkle.
A
Pretty.
B
It is stunning. So those will not move. And they have a bunch of, like we said, bright colors in case you want to, like, do something a little different for a concert.
A
Cool.
B
And then lastly, we have the resort and beach escape.
A
All you want to do is go on vacation and not think about anything. So our suggestions are merely to protect you from the sun and give you something to carry all those things in.
B
Correct. So we have a beach tote. This may sound obvious, but you need a beach tote. That actually makes sense.
A
I feel like sometimes when you're packing for a vacation like this, you sort of forget that you need that tote. And sometimes when you're staying at nicer hotels, they'll, like, include a tote for you. But it's fun to, like, bring your own, obviously. So the one that I picked is from Sam Edelman. Also love Sam. Steven Sam. Those are my guys. This is a cute little, like, scallop shaped beach bag. She's extra large. It's the Layla extra large tote handbag. She can fit a lot. So you can throw in your sunscreen, your beach hat, your book, whatever it may be. She can handle it. What about you?
B
I picked the desegual. Someone correct me raffia backpack. So this is like this textured backpack. It looks very vacationy, super cute. It's very bohemian. But it's a backpack, so.
A
But it also has a strap. So you can like hold it as a purse.
B
Totally. My whole thing is just like oftentimes if I'm going to lay out at the pool or the beach, I prefer a backpack. So I have something on my back that keeps my arms and hands free. So then if I want to grab a mark on the way to my beach chair or if I have, you know, my towel or something else, you know what I mean?
A
Like a cover up or something, throw it on your back. Okay. That's super cute. I also included a hat. The bigger the better. This is the widest one that I could find is the palm braid wide brim Panama Vitora sun hat with a chin cord. Okay. Sometimes you're at the beach and it's like windy and you don't want to worry about just like holding your hat all down all the time. So find one with a chin strap.
