This morning we will dive into the Beatitudes. These are the values of the Kingdom of Heaven that Jesus is offering to His first-century Jewish audience. After He is done with the first twelve verses of teaching, His audience should have realized that Jesus is offering the long-awaited and much discussed Kingdom of God detailed in the Old Testament.

This morning, we are going dive into, probably, the most popular sermon of all time, the Sermon on the Mount. This sermon has attracted more attention than any discourse in history. In this message, we want to introduce the Sermon on the Mount by providing the context in which it was given. Additionally, we want to provide some cautions as we attempt to understand the meaning of Jesus' teaching.

This morning, we want to conclude our Kingdom series by considering some potentially confusing passages in the Epistles regarding the Kingdom. There is reason for confusion regarding the Kingdom, especially when these passages are not understood in context.

In this message, we look at the messaging of the Kingdom and how it was presented through the teaching ministry of John the Baptist, Jesus Christ, and His first-century disciples. Additionally, we want to compare this message of Good News to the message of Good News that we communicate today in the Church Age.
The Bible is clear - following this life, each person will face judgment (Hebrews 9:27). But, what will be judged and how can a person prepare in this life for a successful outcome at that judgment? Jesus tells a story in Luke 16 that will help answer these questions.
