But grief doesn’t follow rules—and it doesn’t always show its deepest truths where others can see.

In this episode, I share the impact of losing a high school classmate to suicide—after she had already lost her son the same way. It made me question everything we think we know about grief, healing, and what it means to be “okay.”

For a long time, I pulled back.
I stopped sharing.
I quieted my voice—because I was afraid of showing up as the grieving one.
Afraid of being seen in the mess of it.

But silence didn’t make the grief easier. It just made it lonelier.
