Marc Brackett, Ph.D., is the founding director of the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence and a professor in the Yale Child Study Center. He is the author of the bestselling book Permission to Feel. His research focuses on how emotions influence learning, decision-making, relationships, and mental health. Marc also developed RULER, a widely used program for teaching emotional intelligence in schools.
