Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Nobody panic. Do not panic. Don't sh. Where's Harley?
Co-host or Producer
Where's.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
He's coming. Harley's coming. But.
Co-host or Producer
Hello.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Hi. Hi everyone. Harley's having a little technical difficulties. Yeah, we're not sure what's going on, but it's something with his computer and he thinks he's figured it out. So he will be here soon. Hi, David. How are you?
David
I'm good. How are you doing?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Are you, are you so nervous for today?
David
I mean. Yeah, I wasn't really made aware that I was going to actually get shot until very recently. I thought it was just, you know, were finally getting to my reels that I've been, I've been pushed to the side for so long and now it's become a challenge for me that I have to, you know, I have to bear. I need to make you guys laugh or I get punished for it. And that was never the, that was never the spirit of me sharing reels. It was supposed to be a fun thing, you know, light hearted and.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yes.
David
Yeah. It wasn't meant to be a competition.
Co-host or Producer
Well,
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
when you kept bringing it up, it became more and more important that we get to it. And it kind of just snowballed from there from just like, okay, we'll start the show with David stuff. And then I was like, okay, what if he is punished? If they don't make us laugh. And then I remembered the salt gun. So here's what's going to happen, y'. All. Whenever Harley gets here, hopefully soon we are going to have David present his reels one by one. And Harley and I, like Roman emperors at the Coliseum, we'll give him a thumbs up or a thumbs down. And if he gets a thumbs down, someone in the office is going to shoot David with the assault rifle. Get it? The bug assault gun. So shout out to that. Oh, my goodness. We. What a wild, what a wild evening it was last night. I, I was totally blindsided by that Perez Hilton thing. I don't know if you saw any of that David, or you knew anything about it when it was happening.
David
I, I mean I saw it pop up when we were talking about it and I, you know, morbidly curious, looked it up and I saw like two seconds and I was like, nope, nope, I'm done. Bye. Bye.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
I know, I was the same. Yeah, like Ethan said, like, I've just never ever seen anything like that. So I'm very, very glad that he is receiving treatment and if you guys did, didn't already. Donate, donate tonami nami.org. that's the national association for Mental Illness. And they do lots of programs and have chapters in every state. Every. A lot of the big counties as well. So there's that. Yes, we do have safety glasses for David. Okay, let's do. Let's do a couple little things up top. First of all, do you know who Sarah Silverman is? I know. You're a little baby boy.
David
Jesus Christ. Yes, I know who Sarah Silverman is.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
I don't know. I don't know what. What lane you're in. Okay, so Sarah Silverman, I.
David
Do you remember me mentioning School of Rock is one of my favorite movies.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Is she in that?
David
Of course she's in that. What are you talking about?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
I haven't seen it.
David
She's. Oh, my bro. Nah, I. Tonight, Tonight, Tonight.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Listen, okay, okay, fine. Maybe, maybe, maybe tomorrow I have the day off. Well, the day off. I know. I'm not doing a show tomorrow. I love Jack Black, but I love Tenacious D. Jack Black. I have. I have, like, all of his Tenacious D songs memorized. I don't think I've ever seen a full movie with him. I saw some of Nacho Libre because it's my brother's favorite movie, but I just.
David
This is a problem.
Co-host or Producer
He's.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
I. I'm a huge. I'm a huge D fan, as it were.
David
Excuse me.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yeah, that was just for you. That was just for you.
Co-host or Producer
I know.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Everyone's so mad. Everyone's so mad. Harley. On his way, guys. On his way. But as I was saying, Sarah Silverman is becoming a lesbian matchmaker, and I love this for her. If you want to pull up my Instagram here. So she says, my best friend is letting me set her up. Are you a single, fully grown lesbian? Do you have your. Together? Are you kind? Do you love to laugh? Emotionally intelligent, Intelligent, intelligent. Respond below. And yeah. So Sarah said, hey, y', all, my friend is 54, so don't feel rejected if you are just too young. 54. I mean, yeah, that's a great age to be haunting on Instagram, I guess.
David
Oh, yeah.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
But the cool thing that's happening is all these lesbians are meeting each other in the comments section and hopefully finding love as well. And the reason I wanted to show this is because we are going to be playing matchmaker on Friday. We are going to be helping y' all with your dating profiles because Galia's coming back, and we're gonna do another round of dating profile workshops. I can't wait.
Co-host or Producer
Yay.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Someone said, I've Never finished School of Rock, so. You are not alone, Kate. Yeah, I. Like, always on. It's one of those movies that's, like, on tv, but I've just never sat down and watched the full thing.
David
It's a masterpiece. And it's a disgrace that you have not seen it, especially considering you're a Tenacious D fan. And that's, like, his, like, rock and roll opus. Movie.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
True. It's true.
David
He convinced Led Zeppelin to put a song in that. Put their song in that movie, which they never let. They, like, almost never let their songs be licensed.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Hold on, hold on. You said School of Rock is your favorite movie.
David
I didn't say it was my favorite. It was. It was in. It's in, like, my top five.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Oh, okay, okay. Because I was gonna say. Are we. Are we talking shit on Chef now?
David
No, no school.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
No, never.
Co-host or Producer
Of course.
Guest or Additional Participant
Of course.
David
No, of course not. But it was in. It's in my list. It's in my list. It's up there.
Guest or Additional Participant
Okay.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
All right.
David
I can watch School of Rock any day, anytime.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
That's me with Legally Blonde. Any day, anytime. If it's on, I'm sitting down and I'm watching it. That's like my. That would be my version of School of Rock, I think. All right, so I don't know if y' all know this, but there is now officially a professional women's baseball team. And don't worry, I'm not gonna bother you with women's sports, everybody. But I am going to show you that we have a new. A new inductee for the. Sorry. We have a new inductee. Look at my eyes there. Oh, okay. We have a new inductee into the worst national anthem performances of all time. Hall of fame. Sadly, it is from a Motown legend. This is Martha Reeves. Have you. Have you seen this? David, have you seen this?
David
Not only have I seen it, I was the one that sent it.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Oh, you sent it. Okay, cool. Well, I. Obviously, I saw it, like, a bunch of times, and I was like, okay, I'll watch that later. It is. It is so bad. And I don't know who these ladies are. I couldn't figure that out. They're like her backup singers, but very clearly did not, like, come with her.
David
No, they look like they're in the audience and they just.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yeah, they're, like, pulled them in.
Guest or Additional Participant
Go.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Go harmonize with that. That Motown legend. So this is. This is Martha Reeves of. Martha Reeves and the. Was it the Vandellas? I thought I wrote that down. And don't ask me.
David
Definitely old enough that I don't know.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yeah. Martha Reeves in the Vandellas, which is a big Motown group, and she. She had the honor of singing the national anthem at the very first game of the women's professional baseball league, which is very exciting. That's kind of like, you know, from back in the day. A league of their own. They had some of the original ballplayers from the American Girls Baseball League that were there. They're now, like, 100 years old. But the most important thing that happened was this. Did you just. Boomer alert.
David
You said 100 years. I guess, actually, technically not boomers. It's even older than boomers.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
It's even. It is like, the greatest generation. Is that the one before Boomers?
David
I think so. You and Harley are boomers, and they're boomers.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
If they're boomers. No, if. If Harley and I are boomers to
Harley
you,
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
these people are dead because that's, like, three generations above us. All right, so here is Martha Reeves. Someone said Martha. And the Donnas. They are very Donna coded, I will say. All right, let's. Let's do it. Wait. I just noticed this lady. She really hit that salute.
David
Yeah, she.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
She's gonna. She's gonna run this game like the Navy.
David
To be fair, probably a vet, but.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Oh, that's true. I thought she was just, like, the ump really getting into it, but. Yeah, so maybe she was literally from the Navy.
Guest or Additional Participant
Yeah.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Not even in the same ballpark. Nothing. Thank you.
David
Oh, I. I do have.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
They're so stupid. Like, who are these women? They. They are just not on the same page at all with her.
Guest or Additional Participant
Oh, yeah.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
You can see people in the audience, like, what the. Trying so hard to be.
David
Gives Fergie a run for her money.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Right? Look at this girl dying. He's dying. She's dying. She's dying. That lady couldn't even. Look,
Co-host or Producer
Why are we.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Why are we giving her the. The floor at this point?
David
It's like. It's so much vibrato that it sounds like a voice filter was put on the microphone on accident. Like.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yeah, I don't. I. She's. There isn't even, like, a melody, right? Like, she's not even in a key. She's in, like, different keys.
David
Well, she's switching every note. She's also off timing, too.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
All of it. Yeah, the. Okay. The ladies are trying to, like, wrangle it in also. Hey, sorry, woman in uniform. Oh, skip that. I mean, she has to. She has to know. That did not go well. That lady at the.
David
There's literally, like, sound effects, like videos I've seen with sound effects like this on someone's voice that makes it sound like this, like. Right.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
I know it's not good, by the way.
David
Galia, check. The umpire was a lieutenant commander in the US Navy. Shout out.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Oh, my God. Thank you, Gallia. Hey, I got it right. The Navy.
David
Shout out.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
That's who you are.
David
Shout out. Basement Cat gang. Who said when you're in church, it's at age 6, and you catch the old lady singing the hymn like this behind you.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yes, yes, exactly. Yeah. When I. It's happened a couple times, but there was one time that this. At a funeral, this guy came up to, like, play the trumpet, and it was, like, very. It was for my uncle, and so he was like, a Marine vet. And this guy was at the graveside playing the trumpet. First of all, he was like this chubby old man. His uniform didn't fit, and it was just like, really tightly buttoned, and he's holding the trumpet. And I was like, I think it's pre recorded. He had, like, a thing in the trumpet just playing it. And we were all just like, oh, my God. All the. At church funerals. Don't look at me, because I'm gonna laugh. Don't look at me. Here is the audience point of view of. Of the singing. And it's like. It's like such a momentous occasion, too. Like, there's so much pressure, right?
Harley
It's like, first.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
The first women's B pro baseball teams. The first game, the opening game, so everyone just really wants to enjoy it. And then it's like, he needs to do one for women in baseball now.
David
I know he should have sang the national anthem.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
You can't see anybody in this, though, really. I wish I could see the players,
David
the way it just echoes through the hills of this, like, through the whole stadium.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
He's dying right there. Oh, my God. Yeah. Just echoing through the hills. Hell. All right. And then we also have a video of her critiquing the backup singers before it happened. Let me just load this bad boy up here. Okay? That's how to tune. That's how to tune, girl. Listen, she's. Yes, she is. She is elderly, and someone should have told her this was not a good idea. Okay? Like, someone knew that it was gonna sound like this. Someone in her team knew it was gonna be like this, and they did not do her any favors. That's attitude.
Harley
Now you singing with me. Who's singing the same note I'm singing what?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Oh, my God.
David
Girl, chill.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
She. She's used to being the Beyonce, though, in her girl group. She was the. She was the front one. The front lady. I don't what you call when it's a. A front.
David
Front woman.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Front woman. Yeah.
Harley
I don't think I knew.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Why are you singing the same note as me? They're just trying to figure out what key you're on, lady. With peace and love.
David
Like, do you know what note you're singing?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Sure don't. That's the thing. Like, she probably can't hear well is my guess. Imagine like. Like, oh, my God, I get to sing with this Motown legend and then she just shits on you and you know that you're actually singing on key. Their revenge was letting her do it. Yeah. God damn. Oh, she can't even hit the first note. Like a. A sustained note. Like, she should not have been doing this. Watch this. Oh, my lord. She got it a little bit there,
David
but it wasn't bad right there.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
And then it gets to whatever this is. That's out of tune. God, she must have been a menace back in the day. She must have been a menace. So, yeah, shout out to Martha Reeves. Her people released a statement saying that while it was such a historic moment for women in sports, the field conditions were wet and windy and not ideal for a musical performance up to Martha's standards. Without stage. What the.
David
You can't sing on a wet ground.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yeah, the wind. And she said, without stage monitors, I wasn't able to hear myself as I normally would.
David
Okay, that's different. That's completely different. But complaining about a wet ground and windy. The stage monitors are like the thing you put in your ears.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yeah. But you're standing right next to them.
David
I think she just. She. It was hard for her to hear herself without, like. Just, like, putting her finger and.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
With, like, the wind and everything, maybe.
David
And the grass was wet. And the wet grass, notoriously means you can't hear when grass is.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yeah. Sound dampening for sure. Yeah. While it wasn't the performance I'd hoped for, I'm grateful to have been there in support of these remarkable athletes and this groundbreaking league. So, I mean. Yeah, maybe that's the Last one for Ms. Martha. Maybe it's just time. Right? Like, we don't. Let. Let our legends rest. Let our legends rest. They don't need to be out here. I hope she doesn't need to be out here for a check. Do you know what I mean? Like, let her rest. Let it Just be and please, please move on. But, yeah, I think that she definitely joins the likes of Fergie and others who have crossed over into the. The hall of Fame for terrible national anthems.
David
DD Megadoodoo Donated Said this feels like a Parks and Recs kit. I literally think this was in Parks and Rec when they did the debate. Yes, like, something like this. Exactly.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
The lady was, like, doing opera for it. Yes, yes, yes. When they're walking out. I just finished, like, a full rewatch of Parks and Rec. Shout out.
David
Fucking best show.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Stephanie, are you. Are you the office or Parks and Rec? Of the two, I'm a Parks and Rec girly.
David
I. I found Parks and I found the office first. Left the office, fell asleep to the office for a while. Going back. I think I like the comedy in Parks and Rec better, personally.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yeah. Yeah, like, bigger.
David
You know, I mean, there are some. I like. No disrespect to the office. I have. It holds a very special place in my heart. And there are so many funny jokes in there, but there's just, like, some. Some jokes in Parks Rec. I'm like, my God, how did you fucking come up with that? That's so funny.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
So good.
David
I mentioned the Schindler's Lunch one before, but that's like, one of my favorite jokes. Like how? Like, God, that's so funny.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
You didn't get what was popular. Restaurant. Let's do a poll. Harley's on his way. Let's do Parks and Rec versus office poll for smashing that, like, button. Does that sound good?
David
Sounds good. I'll do it right now.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
While he does that, I will tell you, the National Anthem is actually a very technically difficult song to sing. I know. It's also another difficult song to sing technically is Happy Birthday. It jumps octaves and stuff. Both of them are very tricky. And I remember being in high school, our chorus director was like, happy Birthday or the National Anthem are two great songs that you can sing and, like, an audition because it shows your range, your breath control and all that jazz. And also, another nerd fun fact. You're not supposed to clap after the National Anthem. Oh, my God, he's here. I was just giving them a lesson on the national anthem.
David
I gotta bring him in. I'm bringing him in.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
It's a hymn. You're not supposed to clap. According to my. My chorus teacher, who I believe. Oh, I have to vote as well.
Harley
Everyone get out there and vote.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Get out there and vote. Everyone stay in line. Stay in line.
Harley
I know you're not happy to See Sugar Bearing explain everything though.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
I am happy. I am happy to hear you. I love Sugar Bear. I am definitely happy for both. So what's up? Are you going to be able to vote for David's.
Harley
I'm clicking stuff still.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Oh.
Guest or Additional Participant
Oh.
Harley
With the reals. The reals? Yeah. I'll tell you, you can do a
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
thumbs up, thumbs down.
Harley
Are we doing his reels right now?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
We're about to. Yeah. Now that you.
Harley
Oh, I missed this. The Office and Parks and Rex. You know, I have a crazy answer for this.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Is it neither? Yeah, of course it is. That's not crazy. That's you.
Harley
30 Rock, dude.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
30 Rock. I love 30 Rock. You're. You're right on.
Harley
I knew you'd agree. I knew you'd agree. You know and you know what? You are. And you know what? And David, he is. When he said he was watching the Office and falling asleep is. Because he was two years old.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
He wasn't even born for 30 Rock. No, 30 Rock is. Is to me a different universe. And I love 30 Rock.
Harley
You know. Lemon party.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yes.
Harley
So the website.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yes.
David
As opposed to what?
Harley
Good, good, good. No,
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
pull it up.
Harley
No, because the. There was one joke on. On 30 Rock because her name's Liz Lemon and at one time her dad is like inviting friends to his birthday.
Guest or Additional Participant
Oh, right.
Harley
You're inviting so many people. He's like, it's. It's not a lemon party without a couple old dudes and some balls. Because I forget what the bit was. Oh, yeah, there was a. A lemon party old balls joke on
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
NBC and no one knew. And no one knew. Yeah, I love 30 Rock. That's definitely a. A banger. Okay, so let's get to it. Let's just get into it.
Harley
Here's what's gonna go, dude.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Let's just dive in. Here's what's gonna happen. David is going to show us his precious reels that he has been bugging us about.
Harley
For bugging us. Dude, we hate your stuff, David.
Guest or Additional Participant
I'm joking.
Harley
I'm joking.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
No, we just have had a lot of good chats about big, big stuff and have not been able to get to it. But now he has because it's so little, David.
Harley
And we've been dealing with big stuff.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yeah, yeah, big stuff. Not little.
Harley
We got. I gotta send you a sped up one of that or like a pitched up one that's like for. For tiny penises or something or tiny drinks or tiny penises or a small bite of something.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
A small bite.
David
Why are you thinking of tiny Penises.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Tiny, tiny mushroom penises.
Harley
You guys know the song Tiny Bubbles?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
No.
Co-host or Producer
Yes.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Who did Tiny Bubbles? That's an old ass song, isn't it?
Harley
The Carnival Cruise Line.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Oh, yeah. That's old as hell, dude. Okay, here's how it's going to work. David is going to show us his reels one by one. Harley, you and I, like Roman emperors at the Coliseum, will give him a thumbs up or a thumbs down. If we give him a thumbs down, he gets shot with the assault. The.
Harley
The bug assault gun gets assaulted at the Magic Castle.
David
Again?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yeah, again. Okay, so who. Who is shooting you, David? Because we're about to start.
David
Let me see. I. I will find out. Give me a minute.
Guest or Additional Participant
Okay.
Harley
Definitely not Nate. Nate would be the worst choice if he's there.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Why is Nate the worst choice? They're friends.
Harley
Exactly.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Is that why? Oh, okay.
Harley
You gotta take someone like Dan who's, like, low key, worried about a lawsuit or something responsible, like, shoot him at the knee.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Oh, that's true. Oh, so you're saying not that Nate would be nicer, but that he would shoot him, like, in the face?
Harley
Yeah, it's his buddy, like.
Co-host or Producer
Yeah, yeah.
Harley
Nate pops David in the eye.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
That's true. Okay, we won't. No eyeballs. He has his glasses on for sure. 30 rock watchers deserve their own Boomer alert. Each Boomer alert away. I don't care.
Harley
I just did this.
David
Love is graciously volunteered to shoot.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Hey, love's gonna do it. Where are. Where are you choosing to get shot?
David
Anywhere but my eyes or face.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
All right, well, how about the back?
David
Wanna shoot me in the back?
Harley
Eyeballs, dude, let's just have fun for the show. Let's shoot your eyeballs.
David
I'll shoot them wherever I feel like is appropriate.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
All right, Level two level decide.
Harley
My man's about to make a Instagram real.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Instagram real.
Guest or Additional Participant
All right.
Harley
Instagram your Instagram.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
All right, now, Harley, we have to agree together if it's a. A thumbs up or a thumbs down. Here is the first.
Guest or Additional Participant
So.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yes, sir. Here is the first reel that David was dying for us.
Harley
It already sucks, right?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
All right, everyone ready?
David
Yeah. This is a car at a car meet.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Car at a car meet.
Co-host or Producer
Okay.
David
Yeah.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
And I'm gonna be. I'm not gonna be, like, withholding. Okay?
David
You better not.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Okay.
David
And also, where the is Harley?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Where'd he go?
Harley
I'm right here.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Oh, yeah, but we can't see your.
David
We can't tell if you like it. You can't.
Harley
Oh, you'll know.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Okay. Ready?
Harley
I will let you know.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Okay, let's do it.
Co-host or Producer
This episode is brought to you by Facebook. So you were scrolling on Marketplace, and there it was, the bike you'd been searching for. You sent a message, and it turned out the seller was super chatty, kind of funny, and an avid cyclist. The next thing you know, you. You're in a cycling crew. Well, a community cycling group. The thing about Facebook, you might find more than what you're looking for from a browse to a bike ride this summer. Find more on Facebook.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
What the. What are you doing? Why did he do that?
David
That's the car I just see.
Harley
How about me muting my mic and laughing,
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Sugar bear?
Harley
I gotta be fair. I. I saw this. I'm surprised my leg isn't on it. I must have just sent it to
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
someone we're gonna like.
Harley
I have seen it already, but I laughed, so I still think it counts.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Oh, it's from Ontario.
Harley
If we got it even when David. When David sent it originally, it was probably brand new. Might have. You okay?
David
This is stale by now.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
I just want to see it again. This is crazy. I did not. That frame is what got me.
Harley
Well, what's he doing? What the is he doing? That's kind of to the car.
David
He's driving it from up there.
Harley
It's so dangerous. So here's the thing, though. Not A.I.
David
no, no.
Harley
A.I. can make. A.I. can make. Oh, definitely not now. Now we know. All right, let's vote for thumb for sure. I'll say thumbs up, but this is AI they handle this stuff.
David
This one, baby. Let's go.
Harley
Unbelievable. Remember the raccoon? Remember the raccoon?
David
Remember Jimothy?
Harley
Of course not. I wouldn't ask you if you remember Jimothy. Everyone remembers Jimothy. I meant the raccoon. The AI video where at Halloween last year, the raccoon came and stole the candy. It was like, on a ring camera.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Ethan.
Harley
Ethan shared it.
Co-host or Producer
Oh.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Oh, maybe I. I don't remember it.
Harley
No, I know more about Ethan. I know more about ether than you do.
David
These first three are car themes. This is the second of the three. So this is the singing car salesman, and this is what he does every time he sells a car.
Harley
Okay, can I tell you something real quick?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
What?
Harley
No, not you. You're good. David, you're not good. You want to hear why? Sure. Two car videos in a row. Risky move, dude. Very risky move.
David
There's a third one coming.
Harley
I know. You said that, and I'm, like, worried for you.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Okay, but it's A different kind of. Of car situation.
David
They're all different.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
All right, here we go.
Harley
Run the clip. Here we go.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Here we go.
Guest or Additional Participant
Along.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
And may he give you peace and bring you joy for the journey on
Harley
every road that leads you home. I am not
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
in the closet.
Co-host or Producer
Hey.
Harley
Just singing to an int I ever seen.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
It's very gay. Hi, Harley.
David
Not only is that Harley, that's gay Harley.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
It did not. It did not give us. It did not give me a big chuckle.
David
Oh, gloves already walked in over here.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
What do you think?
Guest or Additional Participant
Oh,
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
okay. What do you think, Harley? Thumbs up, thumbs down.
Harley
I think I give it a thumbs up.
David
You give it a thumbs up?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
I give it a thumbs down.
Harley
Yeah, that.
David
What does that mean?
Harley
Shoot? It means you get your ass shot.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Shoot him.
David
So I get shot.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
All right, kill him. Back that ass up, David.
David
All right, where do you want me,
Harley
love?
Guest or Additional Participant
Look at you.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Look him in the eye. Look him in the eye.
David
I'm shooting. Okay, shoot me.
Co-host or Producer
Oh,
David
that sounds too bad. It kind of sprayed, so maybe next time you get.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
This was my best idea ever. Okay, let's hope the next one is good.
David
So this is another celebration for buying a new car.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
I love that love got up and started walking over as soon as the video started. Okay, so here's the next one.
David
This is how this specific dealership likes to celebrate you getting a new car.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Okay? Cleansing the palate, giving it a fair chance. It's funnier. It's funnier than the gay guy. I mean, it's a thumbs down.
Harley
There's an important fact. There's an important factor here. Who is it? Is who. Is it the dealership's account or is it that woman's account? I don't know.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Oh, no, look at this.
David
It's her. It's her account.
Co-host or Producer
Go big.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Go big. Go big.
Harley
Okay. All right.
David
Do it.
Harley
Oh, Kill him.
David
Kill him.
Harley
That was crazy.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Got him.
David
I could tell that hurt. Oh, Ethan's still here.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
God damn, does Ethan want to shoot you.
David
You guys want to come over and try it? The second that hit his arm, I could tell that hurt. All right, here, here.
Harley
I'm willing to get shot right now
David
on camera right now. Do you want to come shoot him?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
No, I got it.
David
Oh, you got it?
Co-host or Producer
All right.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Harley, can you. All right, Ethan, can you hear. Let me do your neck. All right, this is. This is gonna be all right. Ethan, this is. Wait, this is up to you.
Harley
I'm taking my watch off because you're
David
gonna do something crazy like try to shoot my watch.
Harley
Go. She's ready to shoot you already. Okay, so he's watching reels with a gun. He's watching reels with a gun to his head.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
All right, you ready?
David
Make me laugh.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
This is. This is one of David's reals.
Harley
He just want to get shot. I'll be honest.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
All right, ready?
Guest or Additional Participant
Okay. Here.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
All right, let's go.
Harley
You're not going to make me watch.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
You see that bottle? I do see the bottle.
Harley
That's so stupid.
David
Yeah, just shoot me. Just shoot me.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Neck.
David
Don't shoot me in the neck. Why you ask me?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Okay, lift your. Lift your sleeve up.
David
Okay, hold on.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
We're just shooting. We're just shooting, Ethan.
Harley
Yeah, we're just shooting.
David
Give me the glasses.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
David is also owed a. Oh, the knuckle.
Harley
The knuckle will hurt.
David
Oh, it's kind of startling.
Guest or Additional Participant
Yeah.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Your turn.
Harley
I'm going to shoot you now.
David
Are you serious?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Wait. Tomorrow you're going to be a baby.
Harley
Now get shot. Get shot powered.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Tell her
Harley
why.
Guest or Additional Participant
What?
David
I'm an imbecile.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Imbecile.
Harley
You had. You had to pronounce it so.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
I'm scared.
Harley
Oh, now you're scared. Now you're scared.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Oh, tomorrow's gonna get shot now. Did it hurt?
David
It's just stings.
Harley
Whoa.
David
It's just startling.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
First person. First person.
Co-host or Producer
Can we.
Harley
Oh, my God.
David
I want to shoot you.
Harley
It's a.
David
It's a revenge shot.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Let's both shoot Ethan at the same time.
David
With what?
Guest or Additional Participant
There's one gun.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Oh, there's not two. I think everyone in the studio should have.
Harley
Someone should do a wield and shoot Ethan. Probably not far away.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Right?
Harley
You got with the glasses on.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Because the salt sprays.
David
Where?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
In the jugs. Do it in the jugs. I'm scared.
Harley
Everyone's getting a tattoo.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Ready? I'm ready. Stop pointing it at me.
David
You just shot me without hesitation.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
But I. Why so far away? Why are you pointing?
David
It's not even a good shot.
Harley
Love you got.
David
No, no, no. I'm saying the shot is not that good.
Harley
Shoot her.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Kill her. Oh, yeah. I'm really scared.
David
Okay, it's fine.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Count to two and shoot her.
David
Now you shoot it close.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
I'm like that when I get injection too.
Harley
All right, come here.
Guest or Additional Participant
Ready?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Me too.
Guest or Additional Participant
But that was like.
David
That didn't count.
Guest or Additional Participant
Come on.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Butt puck hitter.
Harley
Yeah. Get shot again, coward.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
No, you're not that close.
Harley
You got about.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
You gotta balance one on both. One on each. And David, you still are owed one.
Harley
Oh, yeah.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
I will see you in the HR meeting. I will see you in hell. Someone needs to shoot David. Because this video didn't make us laugh.
Harley
Yeah, David.
David
All right. I need to get shot again because I didn't make him laugh.
Harley
Yeah. Severely overestimated
David
here. Oh, it's red.
Harley
Should I shoot in the same spot? Yes. Get him on the tip.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
That was so close. That was so close.
Guest or Additional Participant
Startling.
David
Yeah, it just started.
Harley
It's like a bad.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Okay, good. Okay.
David
It's locked and loaded. Yes, sir.
Co-host or Producer
Okay.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
All right, next.
Co-host or Producer
David.
Harley
David, you severely overestimated how much we enjoy magic. Yeah. By showing us that.
David
To be fair, I think that one was. That one was kind of tainted. That experience was a little tainted, but, you know, it's okay. This one, I think.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
No, it was still. It was still funny hearing it drop. Like, it hit, like, 80 rungs on the way down.
Harley
Save that one for your boys at end the. The castle. We expect higher quality over here at H3 Enterprise.
Guest or Additional Participant
Come on.
David
I think this one's a sh.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
All right, let's see it. Let's go. Ass machine at my gym. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Just waiting. This looks like a hostage video.
David
So is it. Is it a thumbs up or is
Guest or Additional Participant
it a thumbs down?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Oh, it's okay.
Harley
It's okay.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yeah, it's a thumbs down. Get him, guys.
Harley
Yeah, I shoot him.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Shoot him. Shoot him.
David
You can shoot me. You can shoot me.
Co-host or Producer
Where are you?
David
Where are you shooting me?
Co-host or Producer
Where are you?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
And now both are gonna go in the head.
David
No
Harley
headshot.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Chill out, Patty Hearst first.
David
Yeah, shoot me. Tell us where I got him.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Thank you.
David
On my leg. Shoot me on my leg.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Body cam.
Harley
Get his. Get his Achilles tendon.
David
All right, all right, next one.
Guest or Additional Participant
Next one.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Wait for the next video.
Harley
Okay, open your mouth, David. Shoot it down his throat.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Okay. This says, adrien Broner just made every human noise, imaginal, imaginable in 10 seconds. Ready? And I think people are doing thumbs up, thumbs down in the chat.
David
I think Kate's gonna hate this one.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Oh, interesting. Okay, let's do it.
Harley
Like, why did you just call me short?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Oh, my God.
Harley
Why did you just come. That's a. That's a thumbs up right there.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
That's a thumbs up. Yeah, it is. That's a thumbs up.
Harley
Might have to take it away just for you thinking that Kate wouldn't have.
David
With that.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Can you. Can you pull all that. All those sounds, please? Thank you.
Harley
That's why I, like. This is something that I would. I would put a heart on, because I would. I want to sample these noises.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Okay. Yeah.
David
Yeah. Love they like this one. They like this one.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Stand down, soldier.
Harley
At ease.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Let's. Let's see what this one has to offer. Oops. The robotic mouth recreates human speech by copying how the body produces sound. Okay.
David
Yeah. This is a new artificial mouth.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Okay, Harley, calm down.
Harley
I've seen this one before. I like this one, but it's also. This is. This is the. The new. Come on, David. This is the new model of the David Fleshlight that. The one that got banned from the subreddit.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yeah, it's like. It's okay, but it didn't make me laugh.
Harley
Yeah, there's something the boys in the lab have been cooking up.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yeah,
David
whatever.
Harley
All right.
David
I gotta get shot. I gotta get shot. Someone come shoot me.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
One second.
David
What's going on?
Harley
Someone shoot him a lot. Someone shoot him a lot. I feel like. I feel like.
Guest or Additional Participant
Let's start. We.
Harley
No, no, tell. Tell her. Tell her to chill. We want to start banking bullets. We want to hit you with like a three shot burst.
David
Oh, they said they want to bank it. Then you just shoot me.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Are you.
Harley
See if we get.
David
Oh, my God, you know what?
Co-host or Producer
Down.
David
And if you laugh, this gun is.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
What part of the body do you want me to hit you over?
David
I don't want. No, that's not the game.
Harley
Knap, while he's sitting.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Knee cap. Knee cap.
David
Get the fuck away from.
Harley
While he's sitting. While he's sitting crawling out of here.
David
You should sit down and react to this video. And if you laugh. Okay, then stop shooting me. As far as I know I'm doing you guys a favor. I'm staying here. I'm done working, bro.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
That's right.
David
I could have gone home. Thank you. We.
Harley
We. We remember that and we acknowledge that over here. That's actually a big thing. We were just talking about that. How sick you are for that.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
How sick you are.
Guest or Additional Participant
It's okay.
David
I'll just sleep in tomorrow, come an hour later.
Co-host or Producer
Perfect.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yeah. That's all we want.
Harley
Be honest. If I were all of you guys, I. I would. I would have orchestrated an agreement amongst everyone to come in at 2pm and pretend like we've all been there for six hours or four hours. I would absolutely. Or, yeah, I would absolutely orchestrate something like that.
David
For legal reasons, I can't confirm that we. Or confirm or deny that we do that, but we, you know.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
You know, hey, when the boss is away. Am I right?
Co-host or Producer
Yeah.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
All right, the next one.
Harley
Kill him. Oh, no. No bullets.
David
I'm gonna shoot right now. Close your eyes.
Harley
Wait, wait. Before you shoot him. I just did it. Okay, we want to start. We wanna, we want to bank. We want to bank like, 3.3L reels from David, and then you get three shot.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Well, there's only two left, Har.
David
There's only two left.
Harley
Okay, so it'll be a Chris Vector. Chris Vector, then two shots.
Co-host or Producer
Yeah.
Guest or Additional Participant
50 bucks.
David
I'll shoot him five. Five times right now. 50 bucks.
Harley
Well, maybe, let's hear me out. Maybe, maybe he. These two reels suck. So you could. You're going to own two bullets and then I, I, I think I'm down for 30 bucks for another three.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Someone said shoot him in the armpit.
David
All right.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
I feel like that's a good spot.
Harley
Soft spots are the penis hole and the eyeballs.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Right.
Harley
And, and down the throat.
David
Yeah.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Do we need a gun? Bullet tier. List of where to get shot. Penis hole, S tier. Okay, let's see.
David
AI Vanguard knows a lot about getting shot in the back of the throat.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yeah. Wait, the back shots, though, is not that. The back shots is something else. Anyway.
Harley
May I assist you? Hey, Bingo.
Guest or Additional Participant
What's up, big dog?
David
I just wanted to know, like, how
Harley
many years you were alive.
David
You know what I'm saying?
Harley
Hello?
Co-host or Producer
Hello?
David
Hey, what's up, love Laughed. I get to shoot him.
Harley
Nothing.
Co-host or Producer
Shoot.
Guest or Additional Participant
I'm sorry, man.
Harley
I didn't mean to interrupt you.
David
You can go ahead.
Harley
Hello?
Co-host or Producer
Hello?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Hello? God damn it. It's good.
Harley
I'll figure that one out.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
That was a little hello. You played before.
Harley
You like that, Kate?
Co-host or Producer
I did.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Did you, love?
Harley
AI, wait, wait. No, it makes me.
David
One more time. One more time. Okay, just keep playing.
Guest or Additional Participant
Hello?
David
Hello? Oh, that's so good. You can go talk to Bingo.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yeah. Hello?
Co-host or Producer
Hello?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Okay, and then we have another AI one. This is an AI orgasm, so Harley likes this one.
Co-host or Producer
All right.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Probably keep it together so we can shoot David one more time. I'm really talking to myself.
Harley
Hello?
David
Oh, we can't see anything, Kate.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Oh, God, I'm so stupid. Okay,
Harley
what do you say?
Guest or Additional Participant
No.
David
Oh, you just told the waitress.
Harley
I want you to sit on my face. Let's say you.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
What the.
David
Oh, yeah, Harley, that's good.
Harley
It's one of the. One of the better reels I've seen in the last 70 hours.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yeah, it's pretty good. It's pretty good.
David
Thank you.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Shoot him once in the armpit.
Harley
Yeah, shoot him.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Come on.
David
All right, give me in the armpit.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Just to, Just to call it off.
Harley
It's crazy. David likes it so much.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Right down the barrel.
David
You're going to get salt all in there.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
P for piker.
David
Oh, that one hurt.
Harley
Oh, David. David likes it. He likes it. Very interesting.
David
Ah, that one actually hurt.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Oh, no. Are you okay?
David
Yeah, I'm good.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Get him an ice pack. Okay.
Co-host or Producer
So.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Thank you, David.
David
I'm shot him on extra time. Where's my 30 bucks?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Good. Real. Someone.
Harley
Venmo. Love.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
$30.
Guest or Additional Participant
You.
Harley
Kate, you. You can.
Guest or Additional Participant
You.
Harley
You can clear a budget for that?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'll put in a wreck for that. You'll have it in seven to ten business days, love. Oh, my God. What a good idea that was.
Harley
You saw that. He loved it. Every time he took a bullet, he was like, oh.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
He's like,
Harley
get me in the armpit.
David
All right, just wait till you're here. I'm gonna shoot the out of both of you.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yeah, I can't wait. I can't wait for that. I. I will put people up for pain, but I will take pain myself. So don't worry. We'll be good. Oh, my God. That was fun. Okay, wait, Harley, what happened with your computer?
Harley
So, dude, it was. It's so crazy. I did the sickest move. You're gonna hate hearing about it.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Did you finally drill that hole?
Harley
No.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Okay, cool.
Harley
That has to happen, too. No, I. I was streaming today.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yeah.
Harley
And my obs just started. I've been. I've been adding stuff. Always adding stuff.
Guest or Additional Participant
New.
Harley
New scenes and stuff like that.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yeah.
Harley
And I had added a bunch of new stuff, and obs was running like 90 of my computer and it crashed my stream. That's how I ended my stream. They just crashed my stream.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Wait, your obs was running 98?
Harley
Yeah, when I saw it go, shoot. Like, shoot up to 98. CPU and everything started going slow, and I ran over to close it, and it's just like, hard. Crashed.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Why was it taking up so much space?
Harley
Oh, like, why was it doing so much cpu?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yeah, whatever.
Harley
Like, how. How the would I know such a stupid thing?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Like, it's all your AI in there. Yeah, sure.
Harley
Yeah.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yeah.
Harley
Well, so here's actually what happened.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Hello.
Harley
I had. It crashed my computer. And then I restarted my computer. My computer seemed fine, but then when my screen savers turned on or my monitor went to sleep, when I came back down, I was like, oh. Because I turned them on and the monitors weren't getting a signal.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Okay.
Harley
It wasn't doing anything. So I. I had no eyeballs. I couldn't see anything. And I went. I got old HDMI wire. I'm plugging it. I'M under the desk. I hit. I hit my head a couple times. I'm actually. It's so much. I. I was doing so many moves and moving so fast. And, like, Ethan was. Had just said, like, all right, that's the show. And thank God he went for 45 minutes longer. Like, actually, he was like. And I'm like, keep. Keep cooking, dude. I'm like, don't you stop, dude, roll with that. I'm like, come on. And when he wanted someone to call him, like, someone calling, dude, someone called. Just call in, dude, the phone's right there. Someone call in. And I got one monitor working, this one right here. That's why I'm gay. Harley from the future. And I'm looking over on this side because.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yeah,
Harley
and I have a support over here.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Sure.
Harley
But I can't look all the way there. If. Imagine if I was doing what kind of. You know, so. So get gay. Hardly. The future is here. I'm gonna suck your dick. And having said all that, I got the monitor working. So now I was on the computer, but I thought OBS would maybe go to 90 again and crash, and you were waiting, and David was waiting and you guys were messaging and you had to start the show. But I. When I was like, oh, I think I figured it out. I had the monitor on, but it could have crashed again. It could have crashed again. I don't know. And I got the sickest idea.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Oh, God.
Guest or Additional Participant
What.
Harley
What do you think it was
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
to be the bear when you came in?
Harley
No, I wouldn't. I don't. I couldn't even open up obs. I wasn't sure if it was going to just crash again because all the.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Did you just join? Did you just join it?
Harley
Called up this buddy of mine. Yeah, yeah.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
What buddy?
Harley
French Duke. Oh, yeah, baby. Oh, yeah. And this is what's crazy. I go in there and I'm like, dude, I gotta do. I gotta do my show. It's already started. I got to do my podcast. I opened up obs and it crashed. I don't know what the. Going on. Yeah, but. And also, like, two of my monitors don't work now, and I had three running.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Okay.
Harley
And he's like, okay. He's like, let's. First, I'm gonna turn off all the plugins that you had running that you've installed. I'm just gonna turn them all off. So. No, when you open it up, he.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
It was able to, like, access all your. Like that.
Harley
No, he.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Whatever. How did it. How did it shut off all Your.
Harley
And I thought, it's not just like that meta. My meta is a she. And I don't like.
David
She's.
Harley
She's a idiot, dude. I don't even talk to her. I don't even talk to her. Honestly. I don't waste talking. I waste time talking to her. But what he did was, he was like, okay, I'm gonna go on Obs and I'm gonna turn off everything. That's not necessary other than your stream. Yeah, I see your scene here named podcast, so I'll keep that one as is and I'll turn off. Because Obs automatically runs all the filters and everything. Yeah, you could bounce between them. He's like, I'm turn all that off and that should free up some space. And he goes, before you open it up, let me do a quick check. And then he was like, okay, so your graphics card, the display adapters, it turned off. It's not running. So Obs is running on your CPU right now with no help from your gpu. He's like, you could go live right now if you cut your feet down to 720p and 30 frames, that, that could save you like a third. He's like, but it still might do whatever. He's like, you haven't restarted since 4pm, which is 7pm and he's like, he's so. He's like, let's, let's do a restart and just come back. Tell me when you're back. I restarted it. I'm like, back. He's like, okay, let's see. He's like, all right, let me turn on all, all the things on your monitors. Be on the right sources. Hang on the signal. He's doing all the. On the computer and I'm here like this. And I'm like, I will be with you shortly, Kate.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Wait, so it's connected to. Am I getting punked here? Like it's, it's connected to your computer in that way?
Harley
Yeah, that's it.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
You gave it permissions to do all that?
Harley
Yeah, yeah.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Okay.
Co-host or Producer
Okay.
Harley
I, I had done it that time when I was told you I was like making a game. Well, I mean, when I was just typing up a game, the computer did it. But when I was doing that, I, I had to give it control, so. And that was on my MacBook. But then when I went down to my computer, I had plugged it in once. Cuz I have, I. This was crazy. I have a folder with like, dude, once Hank Green started fucking gooning to AI, I was like, let's go, dad. Hank Green wrote it wrote chapter three and four of Hank Green's book.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
It literally.
Harley
So I'm allowed to. I'm allowed.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Oh, now you're.
Harley
I got this. I got this hard drive of. Of it was 25,000 songs from multiple different people from multiple different libraries. I had. I had MP3s. You click on the music, you click open MP3s.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Are you lying to me?
Harley
No.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Is this all made up?
Harley
If. If. It's. If it's.
Guest or Additional Participant
It's. It's.
Harley
It's super simple.
Co-host or Producer
Okay?
Harley
I'm always telling the truth, and I have so many fascinating things to say, so it does sometimes does sound like a lie. Naturally, that you will know it's a lie if it's hilarious, because then I'm joking.
Co-host or Producer
Okay?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
This is not just so.
Harley
Oh, yeah, it's not really funny. This is. This is crazy.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
I am. I am creeped out by it, but I'm glad that it helped you guys.
Harley
You should be. I haven't texted you in two weeks. That's been AI Talking.
David
Shut up.
Harley
Yes.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yes. Shut up.
Harley
And you should see all the stuff that I've sent it to. To explain to AI that's why. That's why when I call you and stuff, we talk on the phone. I'm actually recording you so that AI knows the type of person you are. So it could better.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Stupid.
Harley
Oh, yeah. So I got.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
You're dumb.
Harley
Yeah. No, you. Okay, you. I got. It was a folder as mp3s and it's. It was just loose mp3s. Thousands of them.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yeah.
Harley
And then I have this other folder that was WAV files, and it was organized how iTunes, old iTunes used to do it, where it would be like you would click Tupac and then click the album, and then you would have the songs from that album there. So it would. The song is in folders and folders and folders, whereas the MP3s are just loose.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Okay.
Harley
I had it for years on so many times. I was just gonna delete the 25, 000 songs. Make room, because I'm not going to organize this how. It's just. It's an insane thing to move all the. The folders. But once he had control, I was like, oh, can you make all of these songs, like, consolidate them and. And get genres for them and. And. And just organize them in one folder and not have it be all messed up like that? And he was like, yeah. And he did this whole thing, and he was like, hey. So I noticed looking through your computer that you have These production files from Ableton and you have the folders called DJing. He's like, so I just looked through your files since they came from so many different places.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
And you trust this thing to mess with your files. You don't think it's going to accidentally delete that you need or make decisions that you are not?
Harley
I, I think it's going to. Watch me when I masturbate.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Okay. Okay, that's your, that's your concern or your hope
Harley
you're asking me or gay Harley from the future?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Well, okay. Anything else you would like to say about.
Harley
So, so listen. Oh, you hate it. You think this is stupid, eh?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
No, no, no. I'm just trying to keep us on track. I do want to hear what happened.
Harley
Ah, no, that's. I know that's stupid.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
No, don't start. Tell us the rest.
Harley
Where was I? Oh yeah. So it organized all and then it, it put the genres for all the music because I like to browse the music by genres or make a playlist based on genres. Genre, genre. So I, I was like, yeah, do that. And he was like, oh, 10,000 of these songs are not good quality. They look like they could be rips
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
or they're based on what though?
Harley
The, the bit rate. So, okay, the bit rate, it could be like, yeah, different ones are MP3s or WAV files. And then they could be like 3 megabytes or 50 megabytes. And it sounds like the same on 99 of sound systems. But he, it put all these genres, it got rid of all the songs I didn't need and it's. Or that weren't good quality. And it was like, you're missing about half your library does. It doesn't have genres. And I was like, so find it and bring it to me. And he, he was like, oh, I'm gonna go look around. And he was, he said, oh, you know, if you're, if you're a Deep House producer, then you make Deep House. So all Deep House producers, I'm gonna put them as Deep House, but I'm also going to cross reference it before I do that. He's like, well, I just came back. The results were 1 out of 12 accuracy. Turns out Deep House producers could make things other than Deep House. He's like, you know what would help? If you go to Last FM and you make an account and you send over the API key, they have the, the genres there for songs are crowdsourced and they have like an active community.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Okay. But it's club like in cahoots with Last fm.
Harley
No, he could just go on the Internet.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Like, why would it suggest for you to sign up for something else?
Harley
It was.
Guest or Additional Participant
It.
Harley
It. I really went there. It was a free option. I went and I signed up. So I'm part of the community. So now Claude can search in there. Like, it can go on the website basically on my account and pull. Pull the date. Like I can get the API key and. And give it to it so that it can. Yeah. And it. And then it was like, well, this turns the results, like are now 13 out of 14 instead of 2 out of 14.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Is this stuff you were doing when you were fixing your computer?
Harley
No, I did this days ago.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
This was.
Guest or Additional Participant
Okay.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
This was earlier.
Co-host or Producer
Okay.
Harley
I did this days ago on. On my Mac.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
How many things people are getting. People are getting bored. Okay, so anything else about them?
Harley
Who's getting bored? David. What? David text you on the side? Was it Ethan? Ethan text you on the side?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
No, no one's.
Harley
Ethan told me to shut up about it. You don't do that.
Guest or Additional Participant
Dude, don't.
Harley
You don't want to watch chat. That's crazy. You watch chat?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yeah, sometimes when you're talking about AI at like.
Harley
Yeah, yeah.
Co-host or Producer
Plan B is a backup birth control option that's there for you when things don't go according to plan. It specifically works after unprotected sex and before pregnancy occurs by temporarily delaying ovulation. Plan B is available nationwide at all major retailers and through delivery apps like DoorDash, no ID, prescription or age requirement. It's the number one OBGYN recommended brand of emergency contraception, and it won't impact your future fertility. That's freedom to be use as directed.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Do you know that MySpace is coming back? Can you give us a boomer alert, David? Now there's one that David definitely doesn't know about is MySpace. Am I right?
Harley
I love it.
David
I just hadn't. I didn't use it.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Okay, so apparently there's a new documentary coming out about MySpace and the creators say that they still own it. No, no, I was like, where the. Is Tom? But apparently the owners are Chris and Tim Vanderhook. I actually don't know where Tom is now. Maybe someone in chat knows or someone else can look it up. And they said we still own. I don't know. Is that like the. What were the guys from the Facebook thing?
Harley
No, no, no. Those were the Winklevoss.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Winklevoss was another, like, Dutch name, right?
Harley
They would have loved my Claude, dude. They would have love all up in it.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
I don't know what they're doing now either. But, yeah, MySpace is coming back. They said we are stewards of the MySpace brand at this point, and we are going to relaunch MySpace. We're just waiting for the right time to do it, and if that one doesn't work, we'll do it again. So they are, like, really set on bringing back MySpace. Let's do a poll in chat. David, please. Will you go back on MySpace or will you use MySpace, yes or no? And I'm gonna show you it absolutely exists.
Harley
Didn't Justin Timberlake buy it at one point?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
I don't know about that, but right now it's a lot of music. And back in the day, that was, like, one of the coolest things is you could make your own profile and have, like, songs on the profile, which I loved. I was a huge fan of, like, this is my mood today. And, you know, putting like, a Ani DeFranco song or whatever the it was. And I, like, met girls on MySpace and, like, went on a couple dates and made a couple friends that way. So, I mean, it was. To me, I mean, yeah, it was. It was Facebook before Facebook, and it was cooler than Facebook, I thought. But, yeah, it's.
Co-host or Producer
It's.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
I don't know if it's always just been sitting here, but they're definitely. I think for a while they were just doing music. Like, they kind of switched over to just trying to focus on that, but it's here, and I don't know what's gonna happen. Let's see what we got.
Harley
Dane Cook was, like, patient zero of influencers because he got really big on MySpace that he had. He had a lot of followers on MySpace.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
That's why it was like a trick. Okay, got you.
Harley
It was a trick that he would go to, like, an agency or a pitch meeting and. And sign in on a computer there on his MySpace and crash the computer with.
Guest or Additional Participant
No.
Harley
He'd be like, yeah. To be like, yeah.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Oh, my God. I do remember listening to him via MySpace, I believe, unfortunately.
Harley
So, yeah.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
I mean, right now it looks like it's more about being, like, in the business. Almost like SoundCloud. I feel like it went kind of Soundcloud for a while, but it seems like they want to bring it back maybe more in its own form. Oh, and the. The top eight. Yeah, so the top eight.
Harley
People beefed over that, dude.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yo.
Harley
They beefed over that.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Y' all are not ready for the top eight to come back.
Harley
Getting cut from a top eight, horrible. I'M actually, I'm. I'm being opposed right now. I was dating a girl at the time, and I remembered it was like. Like, it wasn't. If it was like, eighth grade or something. It was like, promise me you'll never make a MySpace. Promise me you'll never do that to me.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
No. Not make a MySpace.
Harley
Yeah.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
You said that to her. She said that to you.
Harley
Just like, it was like an agreement. You don't make. Like, if you were all the couples, you don't make MySpace accounts, like, together or.
Co-host or Producer
No, no.
Harley
Oh, no, no, no. You don't have a. A MySpace account.
Guest or Additional Participant
Really?
Harley
Yeah. You're. You're a boyfriend or you have a girlfriend, you're not on MySpace.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Interesting. That was not a thing for us. Everybody was on MySpace. Everybody. But yeah, the top.
Harley
A Facebook came quite, quite a bit after, like, years. Six years, five years or something. I was in high school for MySpace, in university for Facebook.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yeah. Fun fact about Facebook, I was in the very first wave. My freshman year was the very first wave of Facebook releases at the college level. Because when Facebook first started, if you little guys don't know, it was only for people in college, university, and they released it, like, in. In sections. So, like, the Northeast. Because it started at Harvard. I was at uri. We were like the first kids to get it. And it was great. It was awesome. It was a nice way to, like, meet people on campus because it was literally just college kids and no one else. MySpace was open to everybody. But Facebook, Facebook still killed it. Totally just destroyed it. And no one wanted to be on there anymore.
Harley
It was so insane to go on to Facebook.
Co-host or Producer
And.
Harley
And I also got it very early. I don't know if it was. If it was the first school also.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yeah.
Harley
But I got it very, very early. And it was insane to go on Facebook and see people from class.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yes.
Harley
People from class that I said no words to.
Co-host or Producer
Yeah.
Harley
And we actually. We actually don't have a Facebook equivalent now. It's an element of Internet. Boomer. Internet that no longer is a thing because there's nothing fills the void that Facebook was. It was like sharing for the sake of sharing for no reason.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yes.
Harley
And it was so crazy to go on Facebook and now, like, that guy or that girl or that. Those. That group of friends from Facebook. I mean, from your. Your class who you never said a word to, but saw every week, you're looking at pictures of them in their parents living room on the holidays, like, so random. You're clicking through. You're looking through their elementary School pictures. Like, people posted like crazy, and everyone
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
just followed each other. Like, liked each other, followed each other and poked each other just to, like, be. Feel alive and. But you could also, like, as a. As a gay kid coming out and going to college, you could search for women who like women at your school. And so even if it wasn't about dating them, which it totally was, you could actually connect with other people. And then they got rid of that feature. I guess they kind of had to because they opened it up to everyone. But it was. It felt like a little. A little bubble of your school, which was kind of nice.
Harley
It was crazy because, like, a person that you kind of knew that you just followed because it was no different from following someone on Instagram or Twitter. But everyone was kind of just more easy with it.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yeah.
Harley
And yes, then someone would, like, change their relationship status to single. And you'll see people, like, be like, oh, what happened under that? Like, they could comment on it and it's like, everyone can see it and it's all there.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Dude.
Harley
Likes were given out way less liberally.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
What about when it went from single to. It's complicated.
Harley
Same.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
See you later, guys.
Harley
I mean, you get like, some dude in there, like, what did he do this time?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yes, exactly. I'm right here for you, girl.
Harley
Yeah.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Oh, I love that. I loved that. Status changes, people unfollowing each other. MySpace with the top eight. You had eight friends. And not only was it like, I made the top eight. Are you number one or are you number eight? There was a lot of hierarchy happening, and I wonder if they're gonna bring that back.
Harley
You ever with high five?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
What's that?
Harley
It's a good one.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Was another site.
Harley
I thought it was.
David
Well, it was.
Harley
It was at my school. It was my space. But all the black people at school
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
years did high five.
Harley
Yeah.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Oh, interesting. Okay. Kind of like Black Planet. That was like another, like, specifically, like. And in the US I don't know if it was everywhere. Like, black focused social media app, I think. I don't know if it was mostly for dating, but we're, like, blacked. Yeah. Anyway, I'm. I'm excited to see what MySpace ends up being. I am, you know, a little worried that it's just going to be taken over by corporate as everything is. But it would be really fun to have the ability to, like, do HTML and make your own page again and, you know, share stuff that way instead
Harley
of o. I already know what's going on here.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
What AI. What do you mean?
Harley
Have a Built in AI. No one's making a website on any like that anymore. They'll be like, tell our. Tell the MySpace AI ten things about you. And we're going to construct who your top eight really are.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Oh, interesting.
Harley
Number one, Pepsi. Pepsi man.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Just all just.
Harley
You know about Pepsi man, by the way.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
No, what's Pepsi man?
Harley
The Pepsi. Pepsi had. Was it Pepsi man? Yeah, Pepsi had a video game, I think on PlayStation.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Pepsi man.
Guest or Additional Participant
Game.
Harley
Pepsi man.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yeah, yeah, Video game. Interesting. Hang on. Show this Drake. That's scary. This PlayStation named after the character with the same name as an Endless Runner action video game.
David
Oh.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Kind of like. What's that? Temple Run, that kind of thing.
Harley
That's what it was way before that, though.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Interesting. Okay. Shout out.
Harley
Justin Timberlake owned MySpace starting in June 2011.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
And he was in the Facebook movie
Harley
bought in for 35 mil.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
And then he sold it 2011.
Harley
It was later sold to Time in 2016.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
2011 was late to be getting into that. But that's what they were. They were. I think he was probably trying to make it like a. A Spotify. He probably thought that he was going to be like on the cutting edge of that the way that Beyonce and Jay Z did title. Right.
Harley
And I remembered at the time, I think they like branded it my. And then they. It was like a couple underscores.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Oh, really Interesting.
Harley
They were on some like drop the space thing. The Facebook.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Oh, the Facebook. Yeah, it was the Facebook at first, which is crazy.
Harley
He was the Napster guy. That apparently was like drop the.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
The. The. The sucks.
Co-host or Producer
The.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
The is gay. My. And then spaces is dumb. That was a bad idea. Justin, if it was you.
Harley
We don't need. We don't even need it though. We don't even need it. It. You don't even give a.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Wait. So will you get on MySpace? No, I definitely will.
Harley
What are you doing there?
Guest or Additional Participant
I like.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Setting up your own little page. I think that's cute.
Harley
You're doing some recon. You're trying to pack your b. What's going on?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
We just went dark.
Harley
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
David
Sorry. We lost it for a second. We're good though.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
We're good, we're good. And then we wait for the. The chat to panic in three, two. Fff. But we're back. We're good.
David
Yeah, we should be good.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
You were accusing me of using my space for nefarious purposes.
Harley
Oh, yeah.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
For backpack related purposes. I am a married woman. I am a married woman. But yeah, I just love the idea of the nostalgia of it. Yeah.
Harley
But you're in show biz. I know how you Hollywood type are.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
I don't have Snapchat. Do you have Snapchat?
Harley
Yeah, I'm an influencer, dude. Of course.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Anyway, I will sign up for it. David. Do you think you will, even though you know nothing about it? Thoughts?
David
Sorry, I'm dealing with a technical.
Harley
David, are you good?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Someone shoot him.
Guest or Additional Participant
Someone shoot him.
David
My camera's not working, so I'll probably just do the audio only. But yeah, I probably. I might turn on for a minute just to see what it's like.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yeah, I. I hope that they. Sorry, I lost the thing. There it is. I hope that they keep the nostalgia of it and they make it like it was instead of trying to make it like slick, you know, like whatever the this is with all the squares. Like, no. Give us the ability to make our. Put our own fonts in our own colors, our own background.
Harley
Why would you go there, though?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
What do you mean?
Harley
Why would we go there?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Just to hang out with my friends.
Harley
We do have. We have a lot of options of good places to hang out with friends.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Do we though?
Harley
Yeah.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Where you could write on each other's walls. Don't you remember? Where do we hang out with friends? Online. It's all just. It's all very disconnected.
Harley
Well, I want. I have an answer, but I don't want you guys to search my hard drive. I was gonna say discord,
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
I guess
Harley
a place to hang out.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Dude, it is videos. I know, but my real life friends, none of them.
Harley
Oh, they're all gonna hop on MySpace.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yeah, I think they will.
Harley
Well, I. It's got to have something. There's got to be a thing for it. There's got to be like a thing to. I know, to take advantage of. Yeah. And if it's. If it's music related, I mean, if. If it were a thing where they like, they have an ecosystem that people are excited about, like SoundCloud. SoundCloud kind of fills. Fills in a little bit of that, right?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yeah, but you can't really like connect with people there in like the same way.
Harley
I don't know. There's this.
Guest or Additional Participant
It's.
Harley
It's a Hail Mary, but I guess worth one taking because you could take a hundred million dollar Hail Mary if you have money behind you and it's not the biggest deal.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yeah.
Harley
And you could be trying to fill in the exact void we were just talking about on Facebook because there is. There isn't something like that, I guess to your point about like not having something Like a place.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yeah, we're like.
Harley
It would be.
Guest or Additional Participant
Yeah.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Where people come to your page and, like, everyone's in the comments on your page. Like, that's not really a thing on Twitter. Nobody does it on Facebook, MySpace. You, like, literally created a space, and your space was different from your friends. You go on different. Like your walls and take quizzes and things like that.
Harley
Yeah.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
So I don't know. I like that.
Harley
I just don't want you to be disappointed when nobody gives a. I know.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Oh, I. And I. I am also aware that corporate America, venture capitalists will probably ruin it.
Harley
Private equity.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Private equity.
Harley
Private equity.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
It'll probably be cool for, like, 10 minutes, and then it'll just be ads everywhere. Right. Because that's what they do. They hook you in.
Harley
Gambling.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
They.
Harley
Oh, gambling.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
That is probably true.
Harley
You get hit with the steak.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yeah. Yeah. I don't know. I don't know. But I'm. I'm gonna be optimistic for absolutely no reason. I have no good reason to be optimistic, but I just. My space. You're gonna go on there?
Harley
Yeah.
Co-host or Producer
Okay.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Will you put me in your top eight?
Harley
Like, it'll be a bit. Yeah, okay. I'm gonna put everyone at age three except for David.
David
All right, whatever. And I got my camera.
Harley
I thought you were gone. I thought you were gone. I was joking. I thought. No, I'm back.
David
No, I'm back.
Guest or Additional Participant
I'm back.
David
I don't want to be on there. You.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Can you expand the.
Guest or Additional Participant
You.
Harley
I'll put you wherever I want.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Can you expand my screen just so it's expanded? When we're ready. Did I do something wrong?
David
I. I didn't with it.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
No, I. I brought it back in because I. I accidentally closed the window. I think we should put.
David
Screen for me.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
This is.
David
This is you. This is on your end.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
But I didn't do anything. Where is it?
David
I don't know.
Harley
What are you looking for?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Let me. Let me switch to a different screen. Pepsiman.
David
There you go.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Oh, weird. Let me go back to MySpace, then. Oh, that's bizarre. Okay. Anyway, so that's. That's MySpace, everyone. Let's see if people are going to use it. Most people won't. Two thirds are not going to use it.
Harley
We did a poll on this.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yeah. Yep. But that's okay. I hope it stays a weird underground thing, but it won't, because everything has to make.
Harley
Oh, yo, ask. Ask who uses Ask who uses AI.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Interesting.
Harley
Ask who uses AI and then ask who uses. Ask who uses any AI and ask who uses AI no, generative AI.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Wait, what is the difference there?
Harley
Forget it.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Forget it, Forget it. It's too much. All right, David, are you ready to do your segment?
David
Am I doing the show?
Harley
Your reels. Nah, forget it. Shows.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Nah, forget it. No, no more reels.
David
I mean, David's gonna tell us the. The segment's about AI, so it's true.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Let's do it then. Let's do it.
Harley
Oh, hey.
Guest or Additional Participant
Hey.
Harley
It's about to start.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Are you yelling out your window?
Harley
No, I was calling Hank, telling him to come down. It's about to start.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Hey, go, Hank.
Harley
We're about to do the AI Thing. Come on down.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
You guys are AI ing together. I love that.
Harley
He loves when David talks AI how's that?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Rock hard. Do you use AI yes. But not generative AI or no? Well, what. What would be considered AI if not generative AI? I mean, isn't that most things these days?
Harley
It's. It's if it has to create pixels.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Oh, okay. Like asking it, like a prompt or something like that.
Harley
Yeah, like, if I'm like, organize my music, it's. It's. It's not taking a job, per se, unless there's, like, the sickest assistant ever.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yeah, that's like an assistant's job.
Harley
But like, I'm gonna say, honestly, if someone. If someone hired someone and they were like, take these 12, 000 songs out of these 50, 000 folders and.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Horrible job. Horrible job.
Harley
Yeah, well, you'd have. I guess you can ask a. Like a programmer to. To write a program or something that would do it.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Someone said, I only use robots with people from the Philippines in them. They talked about that on the show today. Yeah, it's like a waymo that.
Harley
I went. I went to that Amazon store. Remember that? The Amazon story? They're like, you can go buy whatever you want. It's connected to your Amazon account. Walk in there, and the AI cameras will know exactly what's up. And then we found out that it was, like, men in the Philippines watching and just, like, clicking on your account, adding things to cart. But, like, they got a lot of money invested on, like. Yeah, the cameras know what you're holding. They watch you.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
It's impossible. That's impossible. It's some sweet. Some sweet people in the Philippines. People are saying, bad poll. You guys are crazy.
David
What else do I need to add?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Nothing. They love saying bad.
Harley
Oh, wait. 40% say no.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Okay. Yeah.
Harley
Crazy, actually. And half of them are liars.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
I don't think that they're guys.
Harley
I'm Goofing around. I know I'm goofing around.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
They might not know. What. Yeah, we.
Co-host or Producer
We're all just.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
And that's the thing. Like, when I say I don't use AI or when Harley says he does.
Harley
I saw you. Gemini stuff.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
There isn't, like, judgment in that. That's just our choices, right? So when I say I do not like AI I don't like it for creative stuff. That's just. That's me. That's my opinion.
Harley
And what Hank Green says that he uses AI to have chat, to have his chapter three and chapter four make sense in his book. And you got a problem with that? Say it to his face. You wouldn't dare, dude. He's, like, 6 3. You wouldn't dare.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
What is he gonna hit me?
Harley
He's gonna backhand David. Back to the castle.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Back to the castle. Oh, my God. All right, let's talk about. Let's talk about flock cameras, which have been huge in the news lately with
Harley
all kinds of creepy happening, scary, bad A.I.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
okay, David.
Harley
They're crazy, though. It's crazy, this stuff.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
David, take it away.
David
What up, everyone? Yeah, so I had a little write up on this about flock cameras. So for anyone who doesn't know what flock cameras are, I grabbed some pictures that I. Can you pull those up for me?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yes, there's one there.
David
So this is what a flock camera normally looks like. There's a couple more in there, but. But flock cameras are AI powered surveillance cameras. The most common are called ALPRs, which are automated license plate readers, which automatically scan any license plate that drives into view of the cameras and is stored in a database called Nova. Flock has a database called Nova, but it doesn't just track the license plate. It'll track the make, the model of the car, if there's any sort of stickers or dents on it, any sort of, like, unique identifier to the car. And then, of course, once you know that, that can be linked to your address, your name, all of that, and just creates a huge database. They also have PTZ cameras, which is what that one in the middle is. It's similar to the one that we have in the office that's above the desk. It's called a point tilt and zoom. And that'll just record live video anytime it's triggered and can be analyzed later.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
And point, tilt, and zoom. It moves.
David
Yeah.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Is that what that means?
David
Point around, it can tilt, it can zoom. So it'll. It'll tilt up and down, it can zoom in and out, and then it can move around. So basically, you can record in any direction, wherever it's.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Okay.
David
Placed.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Okay. Got you.
David
So this is the official Flock website right here. Which, for starters. Don't. Don't go there. So the other thing that they have, which you. You might have seen. And some of them are from Flock. There's some from another company that I linked as well. These ones on the. On the right here, these mobile security trailers. So I've personally seen quite a few of these in parking lots of, like, grocery stores. And that's what those are, department stores and stuff. And. And, okay, not all of them are Flock specifically. Some of them are other companies. Some are just here. License or. Some of them are.
Harley
And you. And so. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. And you like this?
David
No, no, I hate all this. The whole point is this is bad. This is very bad. And this is misused.
Harley
I don't like this either.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Harley's the one that likes these.
Harley
I don't like this, dude. That's what I'm saying. I had to. I had to make sure I burnt David on it. So everyone knew that. I'm not about this.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
The only people who are team Flock cameras are perverts and police officers. And there is a lot of overlap, but we'll get to that. Keep going. David Block. Flock.
David
Flock.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Good job.
David
Yeah. And so the. These are originally marketed as public safety. It's for helping public safety. It's a crime fighting tool. It's to help, like, if someone goes missing. Like, whenever you get amber alerts, it's easier for them to track the crime car if they know any information about it. It's supposed to help reduce crime or. Or it's supposed to help solve crime faster.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
With all. With all those kidnappings that are happening all the time, these definitely need to be everywhere. Right?
Co-host or Producer
There's.
David
And so if you scroll down, there's a frequently asked questions that gets very spicy very, very quickly.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
These people look scary.
David
All right, so they're just promising, you know, everything. You know, it's private.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Here we go.
David
Yeah. So do Flock cameras use facial recognition? If you want to go ahead and read that.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
No. Flock cameras do not use facial recognition technology. Searches are based on vehicle characteristics, not identity. Flock cannot recognize, identify, or track individuals. It is purpose built for specific public safety investigations, not to monitor people.
David
Right. So it's not tracking. It's not tracking you, but it's tracking the car that you're driving, which is registered to you and knows your address and can connect that to Your family and everything, but it doesn't know your face.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
It doesn't know your face.
David
This next one's really.
Harley
This is also. This is such a. A question begging to be amended in eight months. It won't even. Like. It's not a thing that would even stay. This could be refreshed at any moment, you know.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yes, they will absolutely end up doing facial recognition. Like, of course, they'll just remove this question.
David
One line of code and it changes everything.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yes, exactly.
David
So can anyone access my data at any time? Because this is a nationwide thing. There's. There's. It's now been documented. Over 120,000 flock cameras are across the United States.
Harley
And.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
And they're all going to the same cloud.
David
Yes. And this is a privately owned company, but they have contracts with police departments. They have contracts with HOAS businesses, but that the main one that's using them are police departments. And go ahead and read what they say here.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Men. No, first of all, David, you're doing a great job. Thank you. No, access is managed by your local agency and limited to authorized users with role based permissions. And all the authorized users are totally like cool guys that would never abuse that.
David
So they start out by saying, no, it's limited to authorized users within that area.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Mm.
David
So yeah, yeah, to your local agency.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
But every search is tied to a specific user and recorded automatically. There is no open browsing and no anonymous searches. Access is controlled locally, not by Flock.
David
Right. So they say, no, you can't browse everything. But we don't control who browses locally. You guys decide who can browse your stuff or not.
Co-host or Producer
Right.
Harley
Everyone will figure it out immediately.
David
What the are you talking about?
Co-host or Producer
Yeah.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Role based permissions could be given to literally anyone.
Harley
You think about it every time that you've seen a body cam video where the cops like, turn off your camera.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Exactly, exactly.
Harley
Yeah. And apply it to just that. The mentality of planting evidence or something like that.
David
Yeah. Is there a national database of my data? Great question.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
No. Each agency controls its own data independently. Agencies may choose to share information through a broader network, but nothing is shared automatically. Participation is opt in, governed by defined agreements and limited to lawful investigative purposes.
David
So they say no, but yes, there is. They go. They go, no, there isn't a national database, but all of these local places have their own database that go to one database. And then they decide if they can you. If each person can access it or not. So yes, there is a national database of everything.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Absolutely. The broader network.
Guest or Additional Participant
Right.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
The broader network is. Is Something you can opt into.
Harley
And I think, like, oh, we have the database. You guys can't look at it, though. That's what we mean. But like, yeah, we have a database of everyone.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Secret.
Harley
We give it. We let some people in on that too.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
But yeah, yeah, for a price.
Harley
But don't worry, not everyone gets access to this.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yeah. It actually costs more to be into with the cool people.
David
Yeah. And then how does Flock limit its technology is used?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Flock is designed for specific public safety investigations, not for watching everyone all the time. Local police or community groups decide who can use it. I don't trust local police to decide that. Like, what. How they use it and are responsible for making sure it's used correctly where they live. Like, just no oversight.
David
Yeah. So they go, here's all the technology and you guys decide how you want to use it. We're not going to limit it at all. So again, it's probably going super well. You guys aren't limiting anything. You're saying we give this technology to people and they decide if it gets limited or not?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yeah. So the answer is no. There is.
David
The answer is no.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yeah. There is no limit.
David
Yeah.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
And then again, what's going on? Palantir, the last two questions.
David
They had to put that twice for some reason that they're not owned by Palantir.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yeah. Anyway, for SEO, that's what FAQs are all for.
David
Yeah.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
People are probably looking for both of those.
David
Yeah. And so we can skip over the. How many are there? Because I described that. We'll get to that a little bit later. Okay.
Harley
There is a limited edition Palantir Game Boy.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
What?
Harley
Yeah, yeah, A couple months ago. There's a limited edition, like Palantir Game Boy.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Is that. So is Palantir like the big evil AI company?
Harley
IT Defense. I thought it weapons. Weapons.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Oh, is it weapons?
Harley
And it's. The guy. What's that guy? The guy who did Oculus VR, I believe.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Oh, okay. So it's software. AI driven software and critical government and commercial enterprises in the West.
Harley
Very specifically, white man missiles.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yeah. That's fucking weird. That's weird. They do give. They definitely give to me, like white supremacist. But anyway, what's next, David?
David
Yeah, so as I mentioned before, this is a totally privately owned company, but they send out contracts and they issue contracts for their database, their cameras, to local police departments. They do with some businesses and HOAs. But again, this is mainly being used by police departments. And huge shocker, it's being abused and not used correctly.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Love that. I'm just showing this while we chat.
David
Yeah. So we're going to get back to this later, but there's over 125,000 flock cameras, or ALPR, specifically mapped so far in the USA. And this is one of the websites kind of fighting against it, where you can locate where all of these are and do with that information what you will.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Fucking insane.
David
But luckily there are 100 cities that have rejected them. One of them being Los Angeles. Just canceled their contract.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Let's go.
David
I actually want to see out what
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
other places are shutting it down.
David
Well, yeah, you can click on there and it'll show you all the different cities.
Co-host or Producer
Hey.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Kingstown, Rhode island, that's uri, baby.
David
Shout out Providence Place.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Let's fucking go.
Harley
Apple Cinema. Holding it down. 24 7, baby.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
That's uri, baby.
David
The whole ain't no alpr that lives at Providence Place.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Fuck yeah. Oh my God. That makes me so happy. That's so funny. Very cool. Very cool. Okay, so.
David
So there's a couple, there's a couple stories that have gone viral recently of how these are being abused. But just in a broader statement, authorities have charged or accused at least 50 law enforcement officers of using license plate readers for unauthorized purposes. And at least 28 of those were to stalk romantic partners or exes.
Co-host or Producer
This episode is brought to you by Facebook. So you were scrolling on Marketplace and there it was, the bike you'd been searching for. You sent a message and it turned out the seller was super chatty, kind of funny, and an avid cyclist. The next thing you know, you're in a cycling crew. Well, a community cycling group. The thing about Facebook, you might find more than what you're looking for from a browse to. To a bike ride this summer. Find more on Facebook.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Listen, I. I knew it was bad and that's why I wanted us to talk about this, but I didn't know it was that bad. So over half of them.
David
Over half of them. And these are just, these are just people looking up the data of cases. So there could be even more that are, you know, being shelved or whatever, but these are the public ones that they could find. There's at least 50. So the first one that a lot of people heard about is a Texas cop searched license plate cameras nationwide for a woman who got an abortion in Texas. So just to quickly recap this, authorities in Texas performed a nationwide search of more than 83,000 automatic license plate reader cameras while looking for a woman who they said had a self administered abortion, including cameras in states where abortion is Legal such as Washington and Illinois.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
So they were trying to track her down to arrest her. Is that what this is?
David
So this is what they said in this case. The sheriff reported that the family was worried for the woman's safety. And so authorities used flock in an attempt to locate her to make sure she was safe and she didn't harm herself. So, Sheriff, who said that?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Who said they were concerned? The law enforcement.
David
The family told law enforcement they were concerned for her safety because they didn't know where she was. So they use this to track her down, which they can't. Which there's no facial recognition software. So.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Right. So how could they.
David
Sheriff Adam King of the johnson county police sheriff's office reported that the woman self administered the abortion. And quote, and her family was worried that she was going to bleed to death. And we were trying to find her to get her to a hospital. We weren't trying to block her from leaving the state or whatever to get an abortion. It was about her safety.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Safety. They're gonna hide behind that for everything, though. Like, I was just doing it for safety.
David
And here's the. Here's the funny part. So an officer search flock cameras database. And his reason for searching, because you always have to put a reason down. His reason was, quote, had an abortion, search for female.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
So not for safety, not for concern.
David
That's what he officially searched. Yeah.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
And I mean, we know that. That Texas has been like draconian about abortion stuff. And so that makes.
David
It's the fucking handmaid tail over there, basically.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
No, they're. They're absolutely trying to arrest her.
David
So, yeah, Officers are required to give a reason when searching flock databases, but generally are not required to have a warrant or any sort of court order. So they can just say, I'm looking for this. And they go, okay, here you go. And all of these. All of these local databases that can decide to let you look through them, you can immediately look through them.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Oh, my God.
David
Yeah. Cops are able to search across flocks nationwide networks. It does not limit them to just their area of jurisdiction. This search spread across 6,809 different flock networks utilizing data from 83,345 flock cameras.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Jesus Christ.
David
And then here. And then this is. Here we go. Sheriff Adams.
Harley
A lot of pictures of cars, eh?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yeah, it's a lot.
David
Yeah, a lot of pictures of cars.
Harley
Love that. Hey, three car reels. And now whole presentation about filming cars. What's going on? You're done with magic. You're done with magic.
David
It's my special interest. Sheriff Adams said the search quote, got a couple hits on her on Flocks in Dallas, but Flock was not responsible for ultimate finding her. He was able to establish contact with the woman and verify if she was okay two days after the Flock search.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
So there was no need for any of that?
David
No, not at all.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
But they were just abusing it.
David
It just goes to show you how. How easily you can be searched across all of this in all of these databases.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Right.
David
Flock made an official statement on this case. They said Flock is committed to ensuring every customer, including law enforcement, can. Can leverage technology in a way that reflects their values. And we support democratically authorized governing bodies to determine what that means for their community.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
So they're like, yeah, they didn't do anything wrong.
David
Flock does not decide which criminal codes to enforce in Texas or Washington. We rely on the democratic process. And in this case, it appears Flock was used to try to locate a vulnerable person who may have been a danger to herself.
Harley
Oh, okay, so they're helping. That's good.
Co-host or Producer
It doesn't.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
And you know what? It doesn't matter what it's being used for, because I've seen people saying, like, oh, well, I mean, if it helped her, then that's fine. But what that does.
Harley
I just said that.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
But I've seen it elsewhere. People being like, well, she was really gonna bleed out and this. And this saved her.
Harley
It's like, oh, asthma gold. You gotta stop watching him, Kate.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Sorry.
Harley
I told you.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
I just love this. I love his booger wall so much. His booger.
Harley
You thought it was booger wall? I thought it was blood wall.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Run a pole blood wall how?
Harley
Like just bloody teeth.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Blood on the wall like that.
Harley
Bloody teeth.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Disgusting.
David
Either way, you're not.
Harley
You're not a gamer, dude, anyway.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Clearly not. Clearly not if I don't have a booger blood wall.
Harley
As soon as you beat gta, you're gonna start wiping your blood on the wall.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
It's a rite of passage. Yeah, but I just. I see people saying that this is a good thing because it can help people in need, but that is Russian bots. Yeah, that is like the. The.
Harley
It can only be a Russian bot on Twitter.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Example. That is going to justify pervert a
David
nationwide police state, basically.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yes, exactly. Exactly.
David
So that is not regulated. I mean, it's regulated by the people that are using it, which is. Means it's not regulated.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
It's not regulated. It's like the cops investigating themselves. Right? Like, yeah, that is. That. That is not. First of all, I don't think that's what they were doing. I don't think that they were really interested in this woman's safety at all. But on top of that, even if they were, that does not justify, like, the unmitigated use of this platform. It's stupid. But anyway, yeah, let's hear about more reasons.
David
Here's another case, which was awful. A police chief in Atlanta used flock cameras to stalk his ex girlfriend and her teen dollar daughter nearly 600 times.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Jesus Christ.
David
Yeah. So, Marcy, who isn't. Who is the. The ex girlfriend?
Harley
Are.
David
You're pulling it up?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yeah, I'm just gonna put in my email and do this. Okay.
David
There's the. There's the other link if you wanted to use that one too, but.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Oh, there's a second one.
David
Yeah, yeah.
Harley
Here, I'll pull it up. I just pulled it up.
David
Thank you, Harley.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Thanks, Harley. Thanks, dude. Oh, is it the imager link that you want me to pull up?
David
No, no, underneath the red. Underneath the red.
Harley
Oh, oh, oh, the one I just sent to you after. Yeah, I sent it first.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Wait a second. Okay, extract.
Harley
It's just. Extract the desktop, and you can open it from there.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Oh, thank you. Thank you, Harley.
Harley
Hello.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
You're my hero. Okay.
David
Yeah. So this is the X. Yeah, this is the X. Her name is Marcy, and she just had this weird feeling that her. Her ex boyfriend kind of always knew where she was. Anytime she arrived somewhere, like the grocery store, the doctor, she went to a restaurant or a date, she would get a text from him about it, even though her ex, Michael. Michael Steffman, was a police chief 15 miles from her house. So how could he possibly know where she was at any of these times?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Oh, my God.
David
So she felt constantly watched. And so she got so worried, she started installing cameras outside of her house. And she took her car to a mechanic multiple times to check for if there was a tracker.
Harley
She's trying to flock back.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Trying to flock back. Fight flock with flock.
Co-host or Producer
Whoa.
David
I tried to hit him. Sound bite. And it didn't work.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
A good guy with a flock stops a bad guy with a flock every time. There we go.
David
So, yeah, she even bought a hidden camera detector and scanned her entire house, all to no avail because she had no.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
She didn't even know this technology existed. Like, that's where we're at, is people are being tracked without knowing it at all.
David
Now you can pull up the. The MJ album.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Oh, okay, cool.
David
So she texted him about this. Go to the other. Go to the other photo.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
This one.
David
She goes, how did you See, I went to Cleveland the other day. I didn't tell you. And he goes, I told you. I told you. I looked it up. There's the. By the way.
Harley
Ew.
David
And she said, how would you know though? Where did you look? And he admits.
Harley
He goes, sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Hold on. I'm sorry. Sorry.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
What?
Harley
That's. That's Mike. We're from her phone. She's texting Mike. That's Mike.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yes.
David
Yeah.
Harley
Do people do this? Like.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yeah, that's creepy.
Harley
Who put the contact? Did she. Did she put that there?
David
I think this was recreated a little bit.
Harley
Someone recreated that.
Co-host or Producer
Did they?
Harley
Today? It's not a screenshot.
David
Yeah. You know who recreated it?
Harley
They did this. So that we understand what's going on.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
I guess so.
Harley
Okay.
Guest or Additional Participant
Creepy.
Harley
No one does that.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Right.
Harley
I might start doing this with certain
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
people, but not with their ass.
Harley
Just David. On our. In our time, we never imessage. Yeah, yeah, I'll get you too.
David
I think they were trying to find a reason to put his. His photo in there. So anyway, he says. He says, Flock camera. I was in a spiral that day. I won't ever look again. Again. Cuz of Cuz if Jesus saved my ass from my pain and trauma.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Oh, shut the up.
David
And she goes, what's a Flock camera? He goes, it's a camera system that reads tags. Don't worry, I'm not tracking you or some weird stalker. Anyways. Are you now telling your friends I did that?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
The most insecure, abusive, narcissistic little peepee man. Immediately just like, oh, are you gonna tell your friends that I did this now? Oh, I'm not tracking you at all. And this is. These are all the times he checked in?
David
Yeah. So that next photo. If you want to pull that up after this. Over the next seven months, he searched her plates on Flock state database more than 500 times. So this is.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Jesus.
David
The months here and then the time at which he was searching.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Midnight. Yeah, obviously.
Harley
Also all. All while on duty, I'm sure.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Huh?
David
Yeah.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yeah, it probably works.
Harley
Going to the station or something on his free time, you know?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yeah, it's like all noon to midnight. It's all in that. And that he probably works overnight or like the later shift. Dude.
David
Unfortunately, Michael was arrested.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Let's go.
David
In November of 2025 for charges of stalking, harassment and license plate reader misuse.
Co-host or Producer
Good.
David
But unfortunately, in April, before a trial could take place, he was found dead in his home from. In his apparent. From an apparent suicide.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
I am at least he didn't kill her, too, right? At least he didn't go after her. Yeah.
Harley
Wish they all did that really Just
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
took out the garbage on that one. But, yeah, him for not sticking around to get the actual punishment he deserved.
David
Yep.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
What a loser. Absolute loser. Gross.
David
Yeah. But so, obviously, as these cases have come out, and then I. I didn't write up one of this, but of course, this is also being used for immigration as well.
Harley
Yeah.
David
Yeah. Not officially, but it's being. It's being used.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yeah.
David
Yeah. There's no. There's no. Like, federal contracts with Flock yet, but locally, they're. They're working with them.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Oh, I'm sure. Yeah.
David
Because no fucking shit. So obviously, people are outraged about this. This is, like, one of the very few nonpartisan issues that both sides of the aisle are like, yeah, fuck this. Why are we being. Why are we being stalked? Why are we being police like this? Like, this is a very easy, slippery slope to a full police state. And so people are fighting back. There's a couple legal ways people are fighting back. Which is. The first one was that website, deflock.org. you can pull that up again?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yep. Let me go back to that. Beautiful.
David
So this is a website where they are currently always tracking where any. Any camera pops up. And they have it on the map, which you can launch the map. And if you want to just pull that up and just so you can kind of get a visual.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yeah.
David
Of how many fucking cameras are everywhere.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Oh, my God. Wait, is this Puerto Rico down here?
David
I think so. Yeah. So, yeah, you can look up in your area if there's any around there.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Jesus. What are these hot spots here? Where's this? I want to see where this. Is this Georgia?
David
That's probably Atlanta.
Co-host or Producer
Oh, no.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
It's. Is it. It's kind of high up for Atlanta. Oh, no. Maybe it is. Oh, God.
David
That's probably Atlanta.
Harley
Yeah.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Texas has some big ones in the. In the major cities. Jesus. Oh, my God. Look at this. Chicago. It's covered. Gross. What the does Wyoming need cameras for? There's no one even living there. Oh, must be nice to live in Canada. Hey, Harley.
Harley
Yeah, it's pretty chill.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
You guys.
Harley
You guys are up?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yeah, we are. I'm sick of it. I don't want to up anymore. I just want to be cool and chill. That's loud.
Harley
Yeah, that's loud as it should be.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
There was another case that I saw of actual Flock employees who were using it to look up like a children's gymnastics studio.
Harley
Yep, that's up.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yeah.
David
That's crazy.
Harley
I heard about. I heard about the guy, his girlfriend, Ice. Obviously, there's no shortage of nefarious usage of. Of these cameras. I. I can't see how overall it could be. It could be a good thing. We. They did this with phones back in the day after 9, 11, remember, they were like, yeah, we're gonna. We could record every. Every conversation is a conversation you could listen into.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Well, yeah, that was the Patriot Act.
Harley
Yeah. Yeah, that was like. That was like the. The law. That was the law. And it was a big deal. And I think it went for a while. They had it going for. I don't. I think they just don't do it anymore because there's no point. No one's talking on the floor. Phone. Yeah, you know, and.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
And.
Harley
And stuff. Like, I'm sure they have their. Their means of monitoring, but this is crazy because this is a private company, and so it's like. It's a private company across the country. It's the most cyberpunk thing. It's. It's the, like, who. Who has mass surveillance across the board? Some company.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yeah. Like what the.
Harley
Some company. Some. Some guys have control with that.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
New York has insane.
Harley
Paige. Todd.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
What?
Harley
Jews.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Oh, Jews. Oh, of course it's the Jews. That is crazy. All right, keep going, David.
David
So, yeah, then there's another.
Harley
Not always the Jew, but always somewhere near.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Not always, but
David
there's another website called have I been Flocked? Which you can pull that one up.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Flock up,
David
which lets you look up your license plate and see.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Oh, my God.
David
If you have been flocked. Do you want to do it real quick? I can cut away.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Very cool. I don't know my license plate. Off, off, off. Rip.
David
Okay.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Do you know yours?
David
I do.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
I just got. I got a new car recently. Do you want to put yours in? Have you been flocked?
David
I. I tested it already and I. It said no, so.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Well, LA doesn't have them. Right.
Harley
No one gives a flock.
David
They have a bunch.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Also shout out Vermont for, like, not having any. I love that. I love Vermont.
Harley
Yeah, Vermont is great.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
I love Vermont.
Harley
Second best maple syrup on the continent.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
It's so good. So good.
David
Well, anyway, yeah, so it. It tracks that. And you can also. This will then tell you, like, how many times you've been searched as well.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Oh, my God.
David
So, yeah, very, very good. Informative website.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Immigration report.
Harley
So this is because it is public who has been searched. How does this company get access to that?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yeah, how are they getting this info scanner data from ALPR Watch it looks like there's like a scatter data. There's like an org that gets the data. But how? The D Flock project responsible for most of the data available. Oh, you can do deflock app as well, but yeah, I don't know where it comes from. We have gathered some of the data from muckrock. Freedom of information act requests. Flock safety.
Co-host or Producer
Okay.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Interesting.
David
Yeah, it's a whole movement of just any means necessary to get information. Basically.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
I think some of it is crowdsource sourced as well through these sites for sure.
Harley
Yeah.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
People are pissed.
David
Yeah. And so of course there's also a more aggressive approach that people are taking, which is there's people.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Look at that.
David
Going basically like masked in the night and cutting these cameras down basically. Because as you can see, they're just. They're just little like aluminum poles with camera. Like they're very, you know, the. They're not that hard to destroy. I mean people are like spray painting the cameras. They're putting, you know, signs up in front of them to cover them. And so if you want to go to the illegal links, one of that.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
I love an illegal link.
David
Winona, Washington lost all of their flock cameras in one night.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Minnesota. Minnesota.
David
Oh, excuse me. It says Winona, Minnesota. Excuse me. Not Washington.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Winona, Minnesota.
David
Belting story in Winona. Police there say 10 flock cameras around the city have been cut down and stolen. Officials say the automated license plate readers were sawed off at their polls in winnow.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
I guess you can saw them. That's interesting to know.
David
Buffalo county. While police departments across the look like guys technology to investigate crimes and locate missing persons, civil liberties advocates have raised privacy. Privacy widespread use. Officials tell us an investigation is ongoing.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Oh, they're so butthurt.
Guest or Additional Participant
I bet.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
And I love that for them.
David
Yeah. So we just throwing up a disclaimer here.
Guest or Additional Participant
We're not.
David
We're not. We are not encouraging people to do this. We're not encouraging any form of vandalism. We are just informing of what people are doing.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Never do that. Yeah, totally.
David
So there is a disclaimer.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
We love that. Oh, well, this just seems like. This just seems like just a helpful tutorial for.
David
Yeah, so this is. This is. This is actually not a tutorial. It's telling you what not to. What not to do and what all of these bad what not to do criminal vandals are doing.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
He's basically recreating it. So you guys know how to not do this.
David
How do. How. Please, please do not do this.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Because what if you accidentally did it and you didn't even know. Now you'll know if you catch yourself doing this that you should stop one
Guest or Additional Participant
of about a hundred thousand installed across the United States to watch over you and keep you safe. But there are criminals among us who believe that these violate their privacy and human rights. These hooligans are going out and purchasing battery operated reciprocating saws.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
There's a lot of crazy stuff going on with this guy. I just want to say. Yeah, eyeballs.
Harley
That's the guy that drove me and AB to Shamballa.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Oh.
Guest or Additional Participant
Like this one. And six inch Diablo steel Demon Blaze. Knowing it's more efficient and quieter than angle grinders, they go out dressed in non identifying disposable clothing, including work gloves and full face coverage so as to not display the color of their skin. People are careful, so they make purchases in cash and keep no receipts. In preparation of their illicit activities, these vile individuals use-dotorg to pick a target and plan a route that avoids the camera detection. With all phones, smart watches, and G almost too easy king devices left at home, these villains know if they're not caught in the act, they'll get away. St up a demonstration on my private property to show you just how. With their saw wrapped in a trash bag, they approach from behind the camera's line of sight and tear right through this black aluminum alloy.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Wait, why is the cam. Why is it in a aluminum or a trash bag? So you can't see it. Is that right?
David
I think it's about noise dampening. Or. I don't know, something. Something these hoodlums are doing.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Don't do this. Nobody do this. Nobody do this. Don't do it. Don't do it.
Guest or Additional Participant
Hopefully, Flack has secured the cameras a little better so they don't get a personal injury lawsuit. Once these degenerates have destroyed the post, they go for the camera too. Even the solar panel. They're thorough in their destruction to ensure maximum monetary loss. And they always leave the remnants behind as a visceral message to all. After this, the cold hearted anarchist makes their predetermined getaway casually yet swift. By adhering to this specific set of principles, this wild subculture of Flock Hunters ensures that their MO Is always the same. The modus operandi never changes. That way, if one of their members is picked up by law enforcement, they will face one charge of vandalism. But tying them to any previous or subsequent acts of destruction will be nearly impossible for the prosecutor. Some say Flock Hunters are domestic terrorists, patriots protecting our rights to our freedom. And our future. As for me, well, I'm just an unbiased independent journalist who doesn't like to wear shirts.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Wow. So, yeah, that's shocking news that we should never do.
David
Don't do that.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Don't do it.
David
We are just informing what not to do. There's another. Another horrible way people are choosing to fight back against these Flock cameras. Again, we are not saying. We are not condoning any of this. Do not do this. This is just informative.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
That's right. That's right. We're. We're a podcast about education above all else.
David
You know those Flock cameras that have been popping up all over the U.S. right? Do not, under any circumstances, point a high powered green laser at the Flock cameras. This cannon will permanently damage and or disable the cameras.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
High powered green laser.
David
Where would you want to be replaced? And cost the company money? Definitely not Amazon. So please, under no circumstances, I will
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
say it doesn't feel like something you should buy. If you're an evil person, you would probably want to buy that in cash. Right. So there's no paper.
David
Yeah. So you wouldn't want to. Yeah.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
If you were a monster. Anarchist. Evil.
David
Yeah.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Piece of.
David
Just don't.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Just don't.
David
Don't do that.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Just don't do that.
Co-host or Producer
Do that.
David
All right.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Okay. Oh, this is a good one. Number four. I saw this. Long. You think?
Harley
No, this is 30 seconds.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
30 seconds.
Harley
Like a minute or something.
David
All right, we're back.
Harley
We're back.
David
The button was not working on my computer, and I don't know if it
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
worked, but that's okay.
David
No, should have worked.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Y' all can email me if you want. My email showed up because it was Facebook and I wasn't logged in. Golly's gonna be so mad. She's gonna be so mad at us. Let me do this.
Co-host or Producer
Everyone.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
It's okay.
Guest or Additional Participant
We're back.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
We're back. We're back. We're back.
David
We're good. It didn't catch it.
Harley
Nice.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
I was smart to see the computer. It's okay, guys. It was just my email. Okay, so tell us about this.
David
Are you okay to click on this page?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yes, we're good. We're good.
David
So this was a man who was arrested, facing charges to destroying Flock cameras. Okay, and you can see it all this. The official. The official Facebook page of this county. The police department posted this, and it was flooded with thousands of comments vouching for him as an alibi, saying he. No, he couldn't have been doing this. He was with me. So if you Want. If you want to go to the comments, you can read some of these comments.
Co-host or Producer
All right.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Sick. Okay. Yeah. Let's do this.
Harley
What a legend.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
He was out fishing with me that day. You got the wrong guy. Couldn't have been him. He was letting me test drive his Lambo all day. When they caught him, me and homie were burning a fatty. Oh, we got some AI. He was literally cutting my grass at the same time. A date for free. I was partying with this guy. It's the first time I think I've seen two 4k people agree with something on the Internet. Mr. Jackson here was working with me at the soup kitchen to help feed those less fortunate.
Harley
You know, we got this with Luigi. I remember.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yes. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But not with Tyler. Not with Tyler. It wasn't him. He and I were at Golden Corral in Manassas, Virginia. Oh, this is so good.
Harley
You ever been to Golden Corral?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yeah, it sucks. It's not good. It's not good, Harley.
Harley
I know, but it doesn't suck.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
I feel like it. Okay.
Harley
Not good. And it rules.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
I haven't been there. There are a lot of things like that. I haven't been there in probably, like, 15, 20 years.
Harley
They have an icy. Like an icy. At the buffet. Like an icy machine interest. That shit's just there.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
People are saying, I seem loud today. I knew it. I saw my thing. Peeking. Sorry, guys. Okay.
Co-host or Producer
Wow.
Harley
There was a city, a city in the US Called Peking.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yeah.
Harley
Did you know that?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
No.
Harley
And they had a high school.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Okay.
Harley
And you know what the team name was?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Peking Ducks.
Harley
That's racist.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Did I get it right?
Harley
No, the real answer is far more racist than what you just said.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Oh, no. I liked my answer. Specking duck is so good.
Harley
You're on the right track, though.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
What is it?
Harley
Nice try. I'm not saying that.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Oh, no. Do I have to look it up?
Harley
Only if you're curious.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Let's go big. Let's go big. Mascot. I am. Or is it a high school? Or is it a college?
Harley
High school, I believe.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
High school in your.
Harley
In your country. Dude,
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
a racial slur. No way. No way.
Guest or Additional Participant
Wait.
David
Pull it up so I can read it because I can't.
Harley
Yeah, I was gonna. I was gonna say. No, actually, David, you could say it out loud, I think it's not up
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
right if I share this with you, David.
David
No, it's not.
Harley
David.
Guest or Additional Participant
You're.
Harley
You're. You're adjacent. You.
Co-host or Producer
You could.
Harley
You could. You could get holy. Speak. Speak the word, David.
David
I'm not What?
Harley
I. I don't speak the incantation. David, don't.
David
No.
Harley
Is that crazy, though?
David
It is a. It is a racial slur for Asian people that starts with the letter C. I'll just leave it at that.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
It's literally the one you're thinking of.
David
The. Yeah, the one you think of that. That's what it is.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Oh, my God, that's horrific. Imagine being an Asian kid at that school. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Oh, someone left a. Oh, my God. I wish we could read this just because of how insane it is. Everything had the name on it, too. It wasn't like. That was just, like, the mascot, but nobody cared about it. The. The.
Harley
The. The mascot was. The mascot was a dragon in full. In full yellow face, as they call garb.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Oh, my God. Well, this says they had a roller skating arena called the Blank Rink.
Harley
Hey, they were cooking sometimes.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Oh, and there were two mascots. One was the C word, and that was played by a boy. And the other one was. Hang on.
Harley
The word with at. Yeah, like dude and dudette.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Blanklet.
David
That's crazy, dude.
Harley
Yeah.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
This is crazy. This guy wrote, like, a whole thing. Is this, like, on the Facebook page or something? And he wrote this whole thing about. He's like, liberals and their pathetic ilk can go to hell when they decided to change it because this Guy graduated in 1960.
Harley
He still has his varsity jacket.
David
He signs off with loud and proud
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
C words forever, like, in full caps. What the.
David
Crazy, bro. Can you see?
Harley
Can you see him? This is the guy who. Who said that?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
I mean, I can picture him. Yeah.
Harley
Oh, okay. Because, well, I was wondering, like, what if he is Chinese guy?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
His name is Bob Brown, so I
Harley
didn't know that part when I said it, but I'm just saying, like, if I. If. I'm trying to imagine if I'm Chinese and I was from class of 68. I. I am bringing. I'm bringing that energy for sure, dude.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
What the. Blanks forever? That is crazy. Anyway, how did we get here?
David
Facebook.
Harley
My bad.
David
We were talking about Facebook. Oh. Any updates from your mom about Facebook? Is she back on?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
She's. She's toast, right, Arleigh?
Harley
Yeah, she's.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
She's banned from Facebook still, right?
Harley
I sent you. I sent you what she said.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yeah, I think so. You told us.
Harley
She was like, I'm gonna make a new account, and I'm gonna show Mark Zuckerberg what's what.
Co-host or Producer
No.
Harley
Did I not send that?
David
You did.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
We love her. Wait, hold on. There's a Mr. Bamboo picking guys, I'm gonna die.
David
Wait. The Mr. Bamboo? Who's Mr. Bamboo?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
This is the Pekin Community High School mascot, Mr. Are we gonna pull it? Are we.
David
Are we pulling. Is. Does it say the word anywhere on there?
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Let me, let me. It does.
David
Don't pull it up. I'm not gonna pull that up.
Harley
Wait, wait. You can't have the. We can't have the word written there.
David
I don't think so. Definitely.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Okay, mister, I'll read this out. Mr. Bamboo represents the school spirit and good sportsmanship at Pekin High. A picture of Mr. Bamboo with an N, not an M, whose name was chosen in a school wide contest can be found in the boys gym on the north wall. Why?
David
The whole school is racist.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Why saying such as blanks just a little bit better. You know, they were hitting that L. If they were doing this and have spirit will win. Were submitted by the student body and posted beneath this little. This is slur adjacent, so I'm not going to say that either. What is it? See it, David?
David
Yeah.
Harley
Okay, let me see it.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
You have it?
Harley
It's pulled up something. No. Okay.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Oh, my God. This is crazy. This is crazy. Peeking. Peeking is what it's called. Wowzers. Okay.
Harley
She's peeking soaking wet. Peeking soaking wet. Shaking like a child.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
They need to play that in the fractal forest. And I'll go. I don't think there's going to be enough twerking for my liking. That's my. That's my theory.
Harley
I'll keep practicing one day I'll get there. Yay.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
I know. I cannot. I really can't twerk at all. David, do we have anything else for Flock?
David
No, just, you know, fuck them. Fuck Flock.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Flock.
David
Another, you know, fight against them. Fight against them. Legally support these organizations and websites that are. Are tracking them. There's also. There's also legislators who are trying to get bills passed to ban them, to restrict them and, yeah, support them as well. Flock.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yes, Flock indeed.
Harley
And I also, you know, they. They install them on those. Those poles that don't crumple. So they're major dangerous road hazards. They don't give. The pole doesn't give.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
That's horrible.
Harley
Apparently it stands there through the car crash.
Co-host or Producer
So, yeah, this episode is brought to you by Facebook. So you were scrolling on Marketplace and there it was, the bike you'd been searching for. You sent a message and it turned out the seller was super chatty, kind of funny, and an avid cyclist. The next thing you know, you're in a cycling crew. Well, a Community cycling group. The thing about Facebook, you might find more than what you're looking for. From a browse to a bike ride this summer. Find more on Facebook,
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
but not. Not through a little saw thing as we saw. Let's do some soupy chats. David got to do all of his reels today, everyone. Do you have any bruises?
David
I don't think so. Maybe my armpit.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Have Jenny check later.
David
There's still salt on my armpit. And there's salt all over my desk too.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
I love it.
David
Let's see all these soupies. There was one that came in at the end of yesterday's episode that it was from Druin Tunique said, thanks, David, for skipping mine twice. Love that. And I'm sorry. And I went back and I saw. And the donations that came in, at least one of them, the one that I saw you donated but you didn't say anything so I. I missed it. But here I.
Harley
That's on you, pal.
David
I will say your donation now. Thank you for your donation.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you.
David
Shout out to Jerry. Like cravings. To Amelia. To Kelly. Kelly. Kelly.
Guest or Additional Participant
Yelly.
David
Yelly Kelly. Who all sent five podcast gift memberships each. Thank you so much. Thank you. Scotty Jones said School of Rock written by Mike White. Yeah, it was Shout out. Mike White.
Harley
Shout out Mike White. Shout out all white mics. All white men.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)
Yeah. What did Mike White. What else did he do?
Harley
He used a flock camera to search up his girlfriend. $5,000.
Host (possibly Kate or main host)

Podcast: H3 Podcast
Air Date: August 6, 2026
Episode: H3 After Dark #86 – “David Makes Us Laugh… Or Else”
Hosts: Ethan Klein, Kate, Harley, David + Team
This After Dark episode of the H3 Podcast centers around a lighthearted, high-stakes “make-us-laugh” challenge for staffer David: he has to present his hand-picked selection of memes and reels to the team, and if they don’t laugh, he gets shot with a (harmless, but stinging) Bug-A-Salt gun. Alongside this comedic gauntlet, the hosts dive deep into the controversial rise of AI-powered Flock cameras—license plate readers spreading across the US—and the alarming privacy implications, abuses by law enforcement, and grassroots movements fighting back. The episode weaves in classic H3 banter and nostalgia about MySpace, Facebook, School of Rock, viral fails, and the quirks of online life, all while roasting each other and their collective pop culture knowledge.
[25:24–46:32] Main Challenge Segment
Scorekeeping and Mayhem:
[80:42–126:03] Main Issue Segment
Typical H3 Podcast blend: irreverent, sarcastic, self-deprecating yet well-informed.
Episode in a sentence:
“Come for the memes and chaos, stay for the sharp takedown of AI surveillance run amok—and the camaraderie of people just trying to be funny while getting shot with salt.”
