Introducing Meta Glasses. You have questions. They've got answers.
David
Hey, Meta, what's the capital of Peru?
Kate
Lima. How do you say where's the restroom in Spanish? Donde esta Alvano? Hey, Meta, is a hot dog a sandwich? Technically, no. Spiritually, yes.
Harley
Hey, Meta, what should I do with my life?
Kate
That's one of life's biggest questions. What do you think? Ask anything with the new meta glasses.
David
5, 4, 3, 2.
Kate
Hello, everyone.
Harley
Welcome to True Twos.
Kate
It's True Twos time. Sorry we're so late today, but we're here.
Harley
Yeah, it was my fault.
Kate
No, it was my fault.
Harley
Definitely not your fault.
Kate
It was definitely my fault.
David
No, it was definitely not my fault.
Kate
Shut up, David.
Harley
I'm. I was gonna say that it's David, but I didn't wanna because once I came, once I showed up late, then it was David. What were you doing, dude? That's all you, bro.
Kate
Yeah, David was all set up and then as soon as we actually needed to go live, everything, like, yeah, the
David
bed, everything was set up for 11 and 11am and then once. Once it got to 12:30, everything went stale and I had to start all over again.
Harley
I think if David. I honestly do think if David did the show alone, no one would watch. No, I'm kidding. It would be. It would be on time every time. I just have a feeling David's a guy that would. He would have it ready to go. It's me goofing around.
Kate
It's me though. I'm included in this.
Harley
I just. You. You just do. You actually do everything. So you might be juggling a bit. I feel like time punctuality. David, are you a guy that's always on time?
David
Not particularly, but I. I try to be. Professionally, I do. Personally, I'm not usually on time.
Kate
Guys, what if we blame Chat? Maybe it's Chat's fault because they've been blaming us this whole time.
Harley
Yeah.
Kate
So way to go, guys.
Harley
I blame all the gay women in Chat.
Kate
Be very specific, gay gals. It was your fault. Somehow. Somehow you it up. Anyway, we're here. It's true Twos. And we have a wild story that is very recent about a tick tocker who made a post about her husband and then within two weeks, less than three weeks, she and he were dead. This all just happened in July, like just a couple weeks ago. So it's very fresh. But even with that, there's so much information coming out and so we have tons to talk about. Oh, someone said I'm glowing today. That's Because I have the new Teddy glow.
Harley
You are. You are going. I was gonna comment on your camera.
Kate
Oh, thank you.
Harley
But I guess it's your actual face.
Kate
It's my actual face. First of all, I've got the Teddy Fresh classics on. When I tell you, the tank tops, they have, like, a nice slinky weight to them, you know? I love that shit.
Harley
Me too.
Kate
Like it in my sheets, like it in my clothes.
Harley
Like it on my women's sleep shirt.
Kate
Hell, yeah.
Harley
Yeah.
Kate
So it just, like, hangs really nicely. And then I did both the sunny and the peachy together. I did like the sunny and the peachy. Yeah. I did like, a line of sunny, a line of peachy.
Harley
AB Did a line of sunny. And Shambhala.
Kate
I bet he did. And I blended them together. Yep. So there's that. So shout out.
Caleb Waver
Hila.
Kate
I love it so much. And look, it matches my. My nails exactly. I wasn't even trying. This is, like, one of my favorite color purples.
David
Harley, your house is on fire.
Kate
Exactly.
Harley
Is my window open? Is my. What's going on?
Kate
It's the wildfires. It's the wildfire.
Harley
Are you guys getting this over there? Are you getting this over there?
Kate
Getting what?
Harley
All this smoke.
Kate
Oh, yeah, I'm getting it chewed now that I. I look outside.
Harley
Well, we do are out of control.
Kate
We did have downwind.
David
We did have some smoke. And then legitimately, we had, like, a crazy sun shower at the office. Like, for 20 minutes. It was pouring rain.
Kate
I was gonna say, what's a sun
David
shower where the sun's out?
Harley
I like sun showers.
Kate
And then you get, like, rainbows. That's nice.
Harley
Yeah.
Kate
Yeah, I guess that's what that's called. I've never thought about it. I just know it's. It's rainbow weather.
Harley
I like the sound of rain hitting the roof of a car when I'm inside the car.
Kate
Oh, so nice.
Harley
Oh, yeah.
David
And the smell.
Caleb Waver
I used to.
David
The asphalt.
Kate
Yeah. I used to do. When I was working at a college, there was a parking garage outside of my office, and if it was raining out, I would bring a pillow and a blanket to work and whack off
Harley
at the parking garage.
Kate
You got it. You got it. But then after I whacked off, I would pull back, like, the. The COVID to my sunroof and then just, like, take a little nap while it was raining at work. Oh, it was so nice.
Harley
This is actually hilarious. If there was a whack off in the middle.
Kate
Yeah, took whack off.
David
Then you took a break after Pullback. I was like, pullback.
Caleb Waver
What?
Kate
Yeah, pull back then never mind. Yeah, me too.
Harley
I had something that I like, but I'm like, we're not going to do that.
Kate
So you pull back the hood. Now
Harley
pop the hood on this bad boy. Lift up that back under the hood here.
Kate
Rub it out. You still got like 45 minutes of like a nice nap in the rain, which is just so important. First, before we get into the real story of the day, we have a huge update on the girl that went missing from Shambhala. She posted a video, a long video. Did you see this, Harley?
Harley
I watched it. I watched it.
Kate
So we're going to watch it now. This is Caleb Waver giving us her update. Says a thank you message and update.
Caleb Waver
Hey everyone, thanks for taking the time to listen to this video.
Kate
Of course, girl.
Caleb Waver
As you all probably know, I'm Caleb Wavair. I.
Kate
She must be so, like, embarrassed. So sad.
Caleb Waver
Disappeared last Sunday night. I believe it was 26th or 27th. Last seen at a festival that I went to in British Columbia. And I was found that following Thursday night near the no way border.
Harley
That's wild.
Kate
That is. It was like a five hour walk, I guess. And it was how many days later?
Harley
Three.
Kate
Three days. Oh my God.
Caleb Waver
I was taking the care of British paramedics. British.
Kate
She still seems a little BC paramedics.
Harley
Well, that was my thought. Who am I to say? But.
Kate
Well, you have been through the experience.
Harley
Yeah, but something like this, I mean, I, I don't know. Most people that, that go through, through something, they're not, they're not on social media right after.
Kate
Right.
Harley
You know what I mean? Yeah, but like, who am I to say how someone's going to deal with whatever and she's free to do whatever she wants.
Kate
Listen, I am happy for the update.
Harley
Extremely happy. Everyone thought she was dead.
Kate
Yeah.
Harley
Every, every hour and day that passed, more people thought the worst of it, of course. And then so when she popped up, it was such a major like, oh, thank God. Because that never happens. And someone had gone missing in a similar fashion. A woman four years ago. Yeah. And that that person was never found after, so. Oh, that's right. Yeah. People definitely worried about.
Kate
Very, very happy.
Harley
But I know if she was my friend, I'd be like, yo, next month, see if you post something, don't do it right away. Yeah. Let them know you're good. But like the freestyle on camera, you know, you just want. Yeah, you have, you know, there's like a reaction for yourself physically and mentally after something A thousand percent like that, you know.
Kate
But yeah, no, and I mean nosy me is like, oh, I'm glad we get an update from her and see how she's doing. But yeah, she probably maybe, I don't know, we can't say. Right. She does what she wants to do. She's a grown ass woman.
Harley
Well, you did you watch this?
Kate
I have not watched the full thing.
Harley
Oh, you didn't pre watch? I pre watched.
Kate
Oh God.
Harley
Yeah.
Kate
Okay.
Caleb Waver
Brought me to the hospital and trail where they took really good care of me there.
Kate
Good.
Caleb Waver
And then my family, who I'm so grateful for, flew from Ontario 3,000 km one way to help find me.
Harley
I was lost, happy.
Kate
I know.
Harley
Like we thought about it, spoke about it. You're like, that's terrible. And you for sure acknowledge it's terrible. And then time passes, you do, you do a million things, whatever. And then you think about it again. For her twin sister, she's a twin. They must have thought about it every second. Yeah, you must be awake all the time thinking about it. So yeah, yeah.
Kate
The unknown and oh God, had no
Caleb Waver
idea where I was lost until I was able to get information on the way, have some of an idea of where to go for help. But it made the biggest difference having my two brothers there helping search and rescue team. And I want to thank them so much for.
Kate
Okay, I, I don't know what she sounded like before all of this, but there, it almost feels like she has a tbi. Like the way she's talking. Like, I don't. What is that like a traumatic brain injury?
Harley
Oh yeah.
Kate
It's like she's like a little bit like delayed, but I don't know, maybe that's just how she talks.
Harley
But she seems like, honestly I, I heard this and it was a couple days after obviously and listening, I was like, oh, this. You have conversations with people that sound like this at Shambhala because they're blasted the whole time, you know.
Kate
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So yeah, there's just like a, like a, a little bit of a delay.
Caleb Waver
Putting everything aside to make sure that I got home safe. Same with the search and rescue team there. NBC and all the festival attendees and locals like the Shams farmly spreading awareness over social media, just getting the information out. Everything that would be helpful in locating me. I've been doing all right overall. Still fresh, still processing. Definitely in different ways than other people would process. You know, I've seen, I've been pretty active on social media still. I'm just trying to keep things as normal as possible. I've had one therapy session so far that was really helpful. Someone who I've been going to regularly relating to work and other personal stuff that I've been dealing with this past year.
Kate
Okay. So she's had some sort of distress before going. It sounds like there's something. Other things going on.
Harley
Well, she was a. A power lifter. Yeah, I saw. And even something like that, a sport like that, you are so strict with your calorie intake and what you consume to maximize lifting. I'm assuming if it's anything like bodybuilding competitions, you do something to maximize at the sport.
Kate
Right.
Harley
But food is such a tricky thing and what you. You know what I mean?
Kate
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Harley
So if you're, you know, eating in a particular way to maximize lifting and then. And then partying, all of it together can add. You know, I'm just making up. I'm the big. I don't know anything.
Kate
God. I know we're all just speculating and very glad she's okay, but yeah, I
Caleb Waver
mainly just wanted to give thanks for all the help. Just wanted to express that in video form. Although I don't like doing this kind of stuff.
Kate
But you didn't have to, girl.
Caleb Waver
It's definitely more meaningful that way. The two hospitals, they took great care of me, made me feel safe. And yeah, I have a lot of support here at home getting therapy. I have food being delivered to my place.
Kate
Okay.
Caleb Waver
From people from my family's church. Okay. And I also want to thank for
Kate
the gofundme Love church. Good, good.
Caleb Waver
It's a lot of money. And 60 of the money went to travel expenses for my brothers to get to B.C. to make sure that I got home safely. And then all of the rest of it is going to search and rescue.
Harley
Mind you, something like that is a good thing to make a statement about personally.
Caleb Waver
Yeah.
Harley
Because there was a lot of people that donated. So mind you, that is like somewhat of an important thing because in my head, when she was like, I don't like going on camera and stuff might. I was like, well, either you do or you don't have to do this. I'm not sure, but this is the type of thing I could imagine you. She must get a lot of questions, what's happening with this now? That. Or whatever. And so she could just. One shot clear everything up.
Kate
Yeah. I feel like she probably. This is just me. This is just an opinion. Feels like she should still be in some sort of an inpatient situation. Yeah. Like she does. She seems. She seems like, she still needs some rehab of some kind. Not like drug rehab, but, like rehabilitation. Yes, yes, yes.
Harley
Like, you were. You were lost. You were lost for a couple days. So I don't. Yeah, I don't think any of us could really imagine quite.
Kate
Oh, my God.
Harley
That would be like.
Kate
No, Especially if you were, like, on something. Like, how extra scary.
Harley
And then you come to and you don't know anyone. You don't know.
Kate
You don't know anyone. You don't know where you are.
Harley
Your phone is dead. It's, like, not a place that's near civilization.
Kate
You don't know which way to go to get out of the forest. Like, that's so scary. I. I just feel like one therapy session is not gonna do it.
Harley
Well, I don't know. We don't know if she was in the forest or anything.
Kate
Oh, okay. Okay. I was imagining it was, like, woods. I know they saw a video.
Harley
I pictured something much. I pictured something much worse. Like, pictured like. I pictured, like, a person taking her. Pictured someone taking her and trying to bring her somewhere. You know, I pictured something like that. There was also the thought because a couple years ago, apparently the guy had wandered into the woods.
Kate
Yeah.
Harley
And disappeared. But what they were using at Shambhala is they have drones with thermal imaging.
Kate
Oh, right. Yeah.
Harley
Apparently some guy was passed out at his camp just outside his tent, lying there, like, just looking at the sky. And a drone came over, like, and then flew away. And a couple minutes later, the. The medic team walked over and they're like, hey, are you good? And he was like, yeah, I'm just tripping just looking at the sky.
Kate
Yeah.
Venmo Advertiser
Cool.
Kate
All right, bye. Hey, have a good one. Okay. Oh, yeah. So I. I know there was like a. A speculation that she had been seen at, like, a Starbucks drive through with a guy, but I don't know if that.
Harley
I never took that. I never took that post seriously. I remember that post. And I was like, I don't know. This isn't enough of a thing, right?
Kate
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Harley
Because also what's about it is just like, oh, everyone at Shambhala who is here reading, it's like, if you guys see anything, let us know. And it's like 10,000 people that have been doing drugs all week, and they're like, I'll tell you if I see anything.
Kate
She wrote off. She wrote off on a Pegasus. No, I saw so much, guys. I saw so much. Exactly.
Caleb Waver
Yeah. My family said that they were great to deal with, very informative, and let them get involved in the search. Yeah. And in terms of me, I'm just taking it day by day. I don't want to share what happens yet.
Kate
You might be right, Harley. Definitely might be other people involved.
Harley
Three parts to the sentence.
Kate
Right.
Harley
The I don't want to share yet. And then the next part.
Caleb Waver
Like no matter how many times people ask me what happened, like it's not going to change when I decide to share that story. I know it's something I want to do. I know it's going to help people but.
Kate
Interesting.
Caleb Waver
I gotta process it still. Like it just happened.
Kate
Totally queen.
Caleb Waver
Like, I don't know. People are wild online.
Harley
Yes.
Kate
Like, okay.
Caleb Waver
For some people it doesn't seem like they see me as a person. Person who just experienced something extremely traumatic. Something I wouldn't wish anyone to ever experience. Literally. Like being by yourself. No one around you. Unfamiliar area.
Harley
Freaky. So not knowing.
Caleb Waver
So scary when you were going to find food next or a water source. But thankfully I was able to figure it out enough to.
Kate
She's a survivor for sure.
Caleb Waver
Survive until. Until I got help. And I'm also.
Harley
She's like 6 foot and a power lifter. And I'm not taking away that it's still a huge privilege to be a guy in this situation. But like she's strong person.
Kate
Yeah.
Harley
You know. Yeah.
Kate
Yeah. Thank God she was right.
Harley
Thank God.
Kate
Yeah.
Harley
Literally.
Kate
Because you know, if she didn't have the. That about her then who knows what could have happened because who knows where she needed to use her strength and all of that like mental and physical. This poor girl.
Caleb Waver
Yeah. You never really. I've personally never really been so grateful to be here and back at home.
Kate
Oh, this poor girl.
Caleb Waver
Because when I was out there, I did not think I was going to make it back home. There's a lot of people out there in the same situation still ongoing missing people. And just other terrible things that happen in this world, other reasons for people going missing and.
Kate
Oh yeah. And she's an emt.
Harley
Yeah.
Kate
So she has like a lot of the survival skills that it probably took to, to power through that stuff. But still it's so traumatic. I mean you're. You're having a near death experience even though maybe you're not exactly actively dying.
Caleb Waver
Right.
Kate
Because like she said she had no idea when or if she was ever going to get food again. This is horrible.
Harley
You're. And you're also three days after a festival where you. No one's eating properly. Like it's not it. And then like I said before, she powerlifting you already have a very specific diet. Yeah.
Kate
So then you're probably crashing and yeah, you're.
Harley
You're off on a bad foot. They probably dehydrated everything in every sense.
Venmo Advertiser
Ugh.
Caleb Waver
I'm hoping. I want to try my best to heal myself as much as possible to be able to start those conversations and. Yeah, it's a lot. It's a lot. I just finished a rugby game. It was fun, girl. I'm just. Yeah. Just trying to keep things okay. So normal, but still letting myself feel and process.
Kate
Okay, so she's not like, you can't slow her down.
Harley
Dude, she's going to Base coast next weekend.
Kate
She's locked in. But. Wow. Yeah. I mean, it is.
Harley
If you wanted. I guess they're just like. They'd say, be normal. She's just for us. We're like, whoa, rugby, that's crazy. But that's her normal.
Kate
Yes. Right. She's.
Harley
If they're just like, hey, just. I don't know what the doctor's telling her or whatever or, you know, a therapy. But if they're like, yeah, try and just live your life normal right now.
Kate
Like, I'm gonna smash some.
Harley
Yeah, maybe rugby's part of that, right?
Kate
Dude, rugby girls are nuts. Like in a great way.
Harley
And crazier than roller derby girls.
Kate
Yes. And they're obsessed with rugby and they always want to be playing rugby and they want to play rugby until they die. Like so. And I totally get that. And it's like a huge community and I'm sure that those girls are. Are helping her and supporting her.
Harley
And I'm telling you, like, they're just like, yes, she's coming. Yeah, we're winning this one.
Caleb Waver
She's coming.
Kate
Exactly. You want her on your.
Harley
I wonder if at all she was like, I gotta get back. I got a game.
Kate
I got a game on Sunday. That's like driving her the whole time. No, but like, my. One of my friends had breast cancer and she could cannot wait to like be done with chemo. So she could like go to drink ups and stuff. Like, they're crazy. They're nuts. But yeah. Okay. So I'm glad that she has a lot. It seems like a lot of community around her.
Caleb Waver
I am going on stress leave.
Kate
Good. Obviously stress leave. Okay.
Caleb Waver
For the time being. And yeah, yeah, yeah. Thanks again. I've met some amazing people. I've been talking to some amazing people since coming back home. I'll always be a part of the rave community. There are things I'm definitely going to change once I'M back in the scene.
Kate
Interesting.
Caleb Waver
It's not going to be for a while, which sucks, but it's for the best. But yeah, it'll be a good return once I do. Okay. And meantime, I'm just going to keep focusing on myself and what I need. Resting, other hobbies, more chill ones. Definitely going to go back to powerlifting. I've already talked to my coach. Shout out Adam Amali. I'm gonna get super jacked and strong again with all this extra time. It's gonna be weird not working, but
Kate
you got what it is. That's good, girl. Just take a little time.
Caleb Waver
My DMs are always open to talk about anything mental health related or really anything like. But yeah, like, I'm not, I'm not gonna, I'm not gonna tell you what happened yet.
Kate
Yeah. Maybe don't say your DMs are open just because, like, you don't need to be absorbing other people's trauma. And I know that's what's happening. I know people are like, this happened to me or my sister disappeared and died. You know, Like, I think people are probably trauma dumping on her as well. So.
Harley
Yes, God, people, like once again, I, I said like, the crowd is a festival where people cut loose and have a good time. So mentally a lot of people come back, they need some time. And a story like this, they might just take a personal attachment to in some way write some crazy stuff. She might end up, you know, reading a lot of things when people are, are when they, when this is new.
Kate
Yeah.
Harley
You kind of get caught up reading every single thing.
Kate
Exactly.
Harley
That's just, you know, a brutal, brutal to experience as well. And people just. The crowd that would be writing stuff, right. You know, they're like, they're all on their downers from partying and who knows how the brains are working.
Kate
Right. And her included. Right. Most likely just in that space. And it seems like she already feels bad that other people haven't lived and she did. Right. She's like, some, so many people are still out there, not found. Like, she's already thinking about like the universe of missing people. And so I just hope she's giving herself grace and breaks from the Internet and, and all of that because it's a lot to manage. What else does she have to say here?
Caleb Waver
So please chill about that.
Kate
Please chill about that. Be chill, everybody.
Caleb Waver
Yeah.
Kate
I'm so glad she's alive.
Harley
I know.
Caleb Waver
Okay. That's it for now, actually.
Harley
A miracle. I, I, I, you know, when people go missing, the, the Chances that, you know, every day that passes. And this was like, four days or something.
Kate
That's. That's a long time. Well, yeah, because they're changing for her
Harley
life, changing for her family, I'm sure.
Kate
Right? They say like 20 the first 48 hours.
Venmo Advertiser
Like.
Kate
Yeah, it's crazy. Plus, like, I'm just.
Harley
You're in the middle of nowhere.
Kate
Nowhere. Yeah. Like, there is no. There are no, like, touchstones. Right. There's, like, nothing you can see.
Harley
Just, like, wing it in the woods at night. It's surprisingly cold.
Kate
Right.
Venmo Advertiser
You know what I mean?
Kate
Yeah, it gets really cold even in the summertime in the woods. So, yeah, I mean, that's. That's the update from Kayla. I'm glad that she's okay. I'm glad that she's taking some time off.
Harley
She didn't mention a. A book in this one. Did we cut. Did we watch it all? Because I think she mentioned that she was going to do, like, a book or something.
David
Really?
Harley
She was like, yeah, she wanted to save her story.
Kate
She should.
Harley
She was ready.
Kate
And then she should. Yeah, she said that. I didn't hear the book part, but I hope she does write a book now.
Harley
Reading sucks. I hope she goes to Netflix.
Kate
Someone said Zendaya will get her part. And I was like, yeah, that. That makes sense. That totally makes sense. So shout out to Kayla. I hope she keeps healing. It sounds like she knows what happened. If she's already back to rugby, we know that she didn't physically get hurt to any degree. Right. So that's good. And, yeah, it sounds like she has a good support system. So I'm. I'm interested to hear what her. What her takeaways are. Not just why it happened, but, like, how she. How she plans to, like, reintegrate into the community and what she plans to do differently. All that's very interesting to me. So.
Caleb Waver
So, yeah.
Harley
Yeah, there's definitely a warning in there for.
Kate
Right.
Harley
And a takeaway.
Kate
Yeah, yeah, that'll be very interesting to hear. Right. And were there other people involved, like you were saying? Like, it's hard.
Harley
She made it seem quite dark at one point there. You know, she said she's not ready to talk, which I don't want to speculate too much, but she gave it something like that. There was something there.
Caleb Waver
Yeah.
Kate
Maybe something happened at the festival and she, like, ran away or who knows? We're all speculating. But yeah, shout out to her and her family. And I'm glad that.
Harley
To the family.
Kate
Shout out to the family as well. In Search and rescue and everybody. And I'm just glad that this had a happy ending because that. Well, we're not going to be talking about a happy ending for the rest of the day, so I'm talking about
Harley
a happy ending after work.
Kate
You got. You got good massage parlors in Montreal.
David
No, he's got the ultra blue.
Kate
That's too much of your own work, though. That's too much your own work.
David
You don't know. You haven't used it.
Harley
I had people over and they. They were going to the, like, someone's like, oh, where's the bad. Their bathroom down here. I'm like, yeah, there's a bathroom there. And then I was like, oh. And, like, ran. Because, like, my Ultra blows in three pieces. Like, drying out next to the sink.
Kate
Yeah.
Harley
So I was like, hold on a second. I go. And, like. And then just threw it under the sink.
Kate
Yeah.
Harley
Flush the toilet came on. I was turd sitting in there.
Kate
Sorry, guys.
Harley
I had to get rid of that.
Kate
Would an actual turd be more or less embarrassing? Thank you. The auto Blow people will be ultra blow.
Harley
You every. Anyone would be comfortable, I think into a hole where someone just flushed their.
Kate
Okay.
Harley
Versus in a hole while hole that they nutted in is right in front of your face.
Kate
But.
Caleb Waver
Okay.
Kate
But if it's in three pieces, could they have been able to tell?
Harley
No, and that's worse because they'll ask a lot of questions.
David
It's really hard to explain.
Kate
Talk about it.
David
An ultra Blow in three pieces, but
Harley
it's like, yeah, just a turd. Oh, it's kind of like, yeah, yeah.
Kate
Okay. Got you. A turd's a turd.
Harley
You know, exactly this. I'd have to be like. They'd be like, what is this, a flashlight? I'm like, no,
David
it's much more complex.
Kate
It's much worse, actually. Oh, God. All right, let's. Hey, I just Venmoed you for rent.

Kate
na do a hard transition here. Harley and David, have you heard about Sarah Gilson? Okay, so this just popped up on my feed a couple weeks ago. David, you can open the, the picture that I shared of, of Sarah.
David
Yes.
Kate
So Sarah Gilson is here on the right. She was a 43 year old influencer, TikTok influencer and a hair stylist. She lived in Oklahoma and she had over a hundred thousand followers on Tick Tock. Her whole account is just like buy this, buy this by this. She's an influencer, just selling tons of different stuff.
Harley
Top of the funnel.
Kate
Yeah, very, very much top of funnel. This is her husband at the time. His name is Jeremiah Duffy, but he goes by Sean. So this is Sean and this is Sarah. They were both previously divorced and had children from their separate marriages, their first marriages. And then they got together and got married. And she did have, she wiped a lot of the videos of the two of them. But New York Post was able to get some of the videos of them together. And so here, here's what the content was basically like. Just a lot of Aerie was like her main brand that she was hawking on TikTok. Actually I can just probably mute this because it's not going to show their audio. Just. And then this is, this is Sean helping her model things. Get your man right with this winter with this tracksuit. And here she is selling a little camera thing. Actually you can hear him in this one. You can hear them both in this one.
David
Showing off a mini camcorder.
Caleb Waver
I'm recording myself.
Kate
Recording you. Epic.
David
And reviewing a perk traveling duffel bag.
Kate
Now this one, listen to where he's going. You had a basketball tournament this weekend
Caleb Waver
and you got to take your new bag.
Harley
Basketball tournament.
David
One video on Instagram from January 2025 even chose Duffy. She's snuggling with the couple's pooch in bed.
Kate
She loves her daddy, but despite a. Okay, so that's them. That is Sarah and Sean. She was Duffy at the time and then went back to Gilson. She still misses Duffy on Instagram, but the last post there was 10 weeks ago. Also I did find this picture. Apparently her. Oh, do you hear me?
David
Whoa. You cut out for a second.
Harley
Am I? Hello? Can you hear me?
David
You're back.
Kate
You're like chopping. You're chopping in and out. You're chopping in and out.
Harley
Oh, I, I, I, I, I know. I just realized I know what this is. Let me, let me, let me fix my computer. I, I remember this story. Actually, it Popped up for me.
Kate
Okay.
Harley
But, yeah, you're doing great. I'm doing terribly.
Kate
No, you're not.
Harley
You're doing great, though, everyone. David, you too. I understand. I'm. I'm doing. Let me see if we could fix this. You keep doing. Keep doing the show. The show's great.
Kate
Okay, cool. Yeah. All right, let's go. Let's go back to this then. And I will. I will keep telling this story.
Caleb Waver
So.
Kate
Yeah, she was also a step grandma. One of Sean's older children had a baby recently. So he has five kids from his previous marriage. At the time, they were ages like 15 to 25. They were much older. And then she has two teenage kids.
David
Are you good?
Kate
Is he back?
Venmo Advertiser
Hello? Nope.
Kate
Nope. Okay. He'll let us know when he's back. I'll just keep going. So. Okay. They seem to the outside world to be a happy couple. And then on July 11th of this year, so just a couple weeks up, literally one month ago. One month ago today, Sarah Gilson, Sarah Duffy at the time, shares this video. Make sure it's muted. So she's doing that Netflix documentary trend. And it says, preparing for when Netflix drops a documentary about my soon to be ex husband who. Who I just found out is a pedophile. So she drops this video and then how far after this? Oh, then she posts this one on July 20th. So a little over a week later, she posts May, whatever the that was, never find me again. And so she's clearly. She's clearly going through it, right? She's clearly going through it. Her husband apparently is a. Is accused of being a pedophile, according to her. And then I think it was this one that has the. The full caption here. Here we go. It says, this is before we knew anything. This was June. June 20th. Thank you for the army. Your thoughts, your prayers and gift cards have meant more than you know. While I'm grieving and trying to process the worst thing imaginable, I'm solely focused on my children and their well being. Their safety and mental health is my only concern at this time. We are not okay. And I'm not sure I'll ever be the same. But God has been so faithful in this process, and I feel his presence in everything I do. Let's all remember to pray for the victim and respect her privacy. So this is before she posts about him being a pedophile. Clearly she's posting mostly for her local community. And then, yeah, so she posts this and then she posts a pedophile video. And then she posts Made whatever the that was. Never find me again. So what happened next? So her last tik tok was on July 20th, the one that I've. I've got here. Three days later on July 23rd. Three days later on July 23, 911 gets a call. I'm not sharing the actual call. What I'm sharing is the police and the dispatchers talking about the call that had come in. And so you'll be able to hear what the contents of that call were like without actually hearing like the traumatic shit that happened during the call. So here we go.
David
After she publicly accused him of being
Harley
a pedophile on her TikTok page.
Kate
Idol male that we were looking for a few weeks ago after you got caught kissing a juvenile. So already the dispatchers know who this guy is because he, he had been caught doing some stuff, which is why she said something. We'll get into the whole allegation after.
David
Here's what we know about murdered influencer Sarah Gilson and the shocking claim she
Kate
made about her soon to be killer
Harley
ex husband, Sean Duffy. Police raped.
Kate
Hang on, let me get to the rest of the audio here. Hello? Okay, here's the rest of the audio from the cops.
David
Loud BANG.
Kate
I'm trying to reach him back, but I can hear a female in the background screaming and crying. Some sort of loud bang in the background.
David
When Owasso law enforcement arrived at the
Harley
home, they discovered a sickening scene. A husband and wife were dead, both
David
with apparent gunshot wounds to the head.
Kate
So let's talk about what happened there. Okay, so we know that this guy has now been accused of being a predator of some kind by his wife at the time. But of course it's very complicated. So the night of July 23rd, Gilson, who's Sarah. So Sarah and Sean were both found dead with gunshot wounds in their home. A child who lived in the home had made the 911 call. Unclear who that child was obviously. And when the and the authorities arrived at the scene around 11:15pm and the law enforcement officials interviewed a family member. Again, unclear if it's the same child, but this family member was present at the time of the incident and they said that it was a murder suicide. So Duffy killed her and then killed himself. That is, that is what the people on the scene, the actual witnesses said. And as is usually the case, this was not the first incident. Harley, are you good? We back?
Harley
Yeah.
Kate
Okay, cool. And you said you have heard about this?
Harley
I did, I did remember hearing about it.
Kate
Okay.
Harley
I just. Yeah.
Kate
So gross.
Harley
Yeah. Scumbag.
Kate
Absolutely.
Harley
Just. Just do it. Just. Just do you just do you. Smartest idea you ever had in your entire life.
Kate
Yes. If only you've done it before you did all the other. Gross. But also. Yeah, just. Do you just do you.
Harley
And like, just like, he's. He's got like. Just his. Just his face. He's got like shark. Shark eyes, you know?
Kate
Yes, definitely. Predator behavior.
Harley
Yeah, it's just up and. Do they have a kid? Was it their child?
Kate
No, they don't. They don't have any of their own kids. They just had a bunch of kids from different marriages. So he has five, she has two. They're teenagers and in their 20s. They're a bit older. Yeah. Yeah. So this was not the first incident. There had been a lot of ongoing violence and fear, like, over the last years. Sarah was still pretty close with her ex husband, and he's actually been a great guy through all this stuff. He's kind of a bright. A bright spot in this. Look at me. Complimenting a man and give me compliments
Harley
all the time after the show.
Kate
I do. It's true.
Harley
I was like, I didn't want to do it during this. You're like, I didn't want to do it during the show because I didn't want the audience getting the wrong idea.
Kate
Come on. I have an. I have a reputation to protect. Of course. But yeah, so Lyle Landers is her ex. And Lyle said that she had been stuck in a relationship where domestic abuse seemed okay. I had begged her for five years to get away from him. So this was not. This was not something new. Like I said, it rarely is. It's really rarely like the first time that they have an argument that something like this would happen. I had offered to help her in any way I could to get away from him, but he seemed to have some sort of control over her, and she couldn't seem to get away. And that's why there were, like, happy videos of them together. Right. Because there's this cycle of abuse and everything. So you know what? What was on social media was definitely not what was happening behind the scenes. She had tried to get two different protective orders against him, so restraining orders against him, but they were both dismissed because she didn't show up for court. Another. You know, he probably intimidated her out of going and actually getting the restraining order. So they had been having problems for years, and they were. They were estranged and got more estranged when the allegations dropped a couple weeks ago. But back in 2024. So two years ago, and this is a, a weird thing, Duffy. Shawn called the police department to report that his semi automatic handgun was stolen from his vehicle. Now to me, that is a way for somebody to get out of having to turn their handgun in because they are accused of domestic violence. Because in a lot of places that happens where if you have any sort of domestic violence record, they take your gun at least for a certain amount of time.
Harley
He said that. He said that.
Kate
He said someone stole his gun. This is in 2024. So according to him, he didn't have a gun in the house because it was stolen. To me, that's him preparing to use it in an illegal way, whether on her or somebody else who knows. He also filed for bankruptcy in 2024. Apparently they had. I think it was like $260,000 in debt, which is a lot.
Harley
Was his. What was his business? What was he doing?
Kate
I couldn't, I really could not find out. Like I was trying to find what his job was. Maybe if someone in Oklahoma knows, but she was doing. She was a hairdresser and influencer. I could not find what he did besides coaching, which is what got him into trouble. But I don't know if that pays to the degree that. And maybe that was like his only job. The only thing I could find was that he was. That he was a coach for what, a girls sports team. We will talk. We will talk about that because that is a huge piece of this story. He noted 6. A little over 6k for their combined monthly, monthly income. So I mean, he's not making a ton of money. And at the time of filing, he had $100 in checking and 300 in savings. But he also marked his gun as a part of the, the value. Unless this is a different gun. Glock 19 pistol valued at $450. So maybe he had multiple guns. I don't know. So there was clearly financial stress going on. There was DV already going $150. Is that a lot or a little? I feel like that's a little. You can buy guns.
Harley
450 bucks. You get to. You get like the gun. The policeman has like a revolver. Like, like a little. A little. A little budgeting. And you could actually make a wall.
Kate
Yes, you could absolutely have a wall of guns. Do they give them away here? My wife's. My wife's dad. My wife's dad. Yes.
Harley
Was a gun.
Kate
He was actually a gun. She is 50 gun.
Harley
She's a son of a gun.
Kate
He won a gun at a, at a.
Harley
Like he was at the carnival. Carnival just tossed the ball, knocked over three milk bottles, and they're like, here you go. A gun.
Kate
No, when you squirt it in the. The clown's mouth and he blows up, that's what it was.
Harley
Like, it's loaded. Don't go shooting it now.
Kate
Yeah, put it in your car. Maybe he, like, put in for a raffle at this, like, big sporting goods store, and he won, like, a full, like, hunting outfit and a real gun, like a. Like a rifle.
Harley
I'd be stressed. If I, like, want a gun and they're like, come get your gun. I'd be like, what? And just, like, like, put it. And then. And then put it in my car. And then trap man put it in my house. I would always know where it is and where the barrel is facing. Like, if it was in the closet all the way there, I'd be like, oh, yeah, I can't. And I would, like, duck under it. I. I stayed at a buddy's house who had a wall of guns, and all of the guns on the wall are mounted, pointing at, like, where the door is. So when you walk by, there's, like, a millisecond of, like, a wall of guns pointing at you kind of.
Kate
I don't like that.
Harley
And I'm like, every single one of them's got to be empty. And it wouldn't just automatically shoot the time that I'm walking by here. But God would be silly. I am a funny guy, and God could be silly sometimes. And this would be like.
Kate
Like a joke.
Harley
Yeah, yeah. So I would duck through. I would duck through it sometimes.
Kate
Yeah, yeah.
Harley
Like, so I'm like, ducking under the, like, where they're pointing.
Kate
I. What. I was like that until I married into this family, and then I kind of got used to them, but I still don't like them. I still won't use them. And sick. They are locked away there. There are no gun walls in this family. Everything's in a safe with a lock.
Harley
I think my friend that drinks out of the garbage has a gun. A couple guns. He's got a couple guns.
Kate
I don't know if he should.
Harley
He's. He's not a person that is unsafe in all of his. It's all locked up, and he's got, like, that type of autism where, like, okay, everything is, like, the. The ammo and the stuff. They're all in separate places.
Kate
Yeah, that's what looks in different things.
Harley
Yeah, you got to do it. And there's, like, a zip tie on the Gun. So you can't even like if you had, you know. Yeah, yeah, he's good at it.
Kate
Does he like go to the gun range? Is he a hunter? What's his, what's the tea with him?
Harley
Yeah, he goes to the gun range. He likes to go to the range.
Kate
He just likes to shoot stuff.
Harley
Yeah, he likes to go the range. I think he likes to clean them and look at them and stuff. Yeah, I don't like that either. But it's funny because you have to get, you have to get a person to like be like, to vouch for you. Which he had plenty of people that he did. But like, I am one of his best friends.
Kate
Yeah.
Harley
And he didn't come and ask me.
Kate
You were not gun vouch worthy.
Harley
I, I, I like, I, I just, he just would have had to have a talk with me and I just think he wanted to have the talk.
Kate
It's like, I'm not doing this with Harley.
Harley
Exactly. I have been like, oh, really?
Venmo Advertiser
Really?
Kate
He's like, Harley's gonna tell him I'm not trustworthy. He's gonna ruin my guns.
Harley
I just thought, I'm like, I don't want to co sign anyone's gun.
Kate
Yeah, exactly.
Harley
And you should. I love, I love guns and wall of gun.
Kate
Wall of gun.
Harley
I never bought, I never bought gun or never committed to wall of gun myself and that. And then so I'm like, oh, so someone who's gotta go get a gun. I'm just like, really? Okay. I don't know, dude, tell me about, tell me about that. Write me, write me a 5, 000 word essay on why you.
Venmo Advertiser
Yeah, literally.
Harley
Why? Because it' to know what's up, why you have to buy this, you know?
Kate
Yeah, I know.
David
I,
Kate
I guess I have, I've carved out an exception in my brain for hunting. And so Liz has hunting rifles, like one for deer, one for birds. So they're different. But then I know people that have like assault rifles and handguns and like, like more guns than you could ever use and that I don't like more guns. Yeah.
Harley
Raining guns.
Kate
Yeah. Just so like multiple like guns on guns on guns that I'm like, why do we like this? What is the deal? But like, if you're using them for like a specific function, if you're a hunter, I'm like, okay, that's fine. And if you're safe about it, like, she's much safe. Her family's much safer than my dad was, who would go hunting like once a year but had a long Gun in the closet called Big John, like just hanging out, you know what I mean? Like he was reckless. He was reckless with his, with his gun for sure. But very glad that we never a horrible accident didn't befall us. Okay, so that's the guns,
Venmo Advertiser
see.
Kate
Oh, and the, the bankruptcy ended up being discharged a few months later. So I guess that didn't go through. So clearly he had a lot of terrible happening.
Harley
What does that mean? What do you mean it was discharged? It didn't go.
Kate
Does that happen? I thought it meant that it didn't go through. Let me see. Discharged bankruptcy meaning releases the debtor. Oh, oh, okay, then it was. Then some of it did go through. So I thought I had the wrong thought. So. Good question. So what is a discharge of bankruptcy? A discharge releases the debtor from personal liability for certain specified types of debts.
Harley
I typed in. What is discharging on a completely different answer from you.
Kate
I don't want to know. You're stupid. All right, so everyone get their sillies out. It's about to get really, really, really bad. Okay, so the problem, or, or the, the problem revealed itself the biggest problem on June 10, on June 10 is when a girl in the area or a woman in the area filed a protective order on behalf of her daughter against Sean. The Minor was a 15 year old girl who played on the youth basketball team Duffy coached. Now if you think back to the videos I showed, Mr. Duffy was going on a basketball tournament weekend and he was going to use his cool bag that, that Sarah was, was selling, right? So this was at least part of his job, was going to these like travel basketball tournaments. Allegedly he kissed and touched the girl and was caught by another coach. First of all, shout out to that other coach because if we think about, do you remember what happened at Penn State with the kids and how one of the coaches like walked in, saw a kid being abused and just walked out and didn't say anything like, I am so glad that this other coach actually did something with the information and went to the parents. And so the girl told the mother that Sean had engaged in other inappropriate behavior as well, outside of this one incident where he was caught, including sending her messages, inviting to her to his hotel room during a tournament trip and offering her money to keep her quiet. Total disgusting scumbag. And then the police also say that similar conduct by this coach toward this particular juvenile was reported to have occurred over an extended period of time in multiple law enforcement jurisdictions across multiple states. States prior to this specific incident. So he was looking At a lot of trouble. Potentially multiple cases in multiple cities or states or what. Wherever he was doing this. And the police actually tried to pick him up, it says, at the school where the allegations took place. So, I mean, this happened kind of quickly. It must have been around the 10th when it actually happened. And they were still at this away game, but he had already left. Like, he fled. And over the next 24 hours, police across multiple jurisdictions attempted to locate Sean by pinging cell phone towers. So this guy was just, like, in the wind after he got caught. And they also attempted to locate him by flying a drone near a tower.
Harley
I'm sorry. Well. Well, yeah, go ahead. So at this point, the allegations are out. The young girl made the accusation and backed by another coach. And at this point, he is. He is living with Sarah, or are they. Okay, are they. Are they married?
Kate
Yes, they are married.
Harley
So they're married. They're living together. And he. He there. He had history of domestic abuse before this.
Kate
Yep.
Harley
And. But they were still together, and she was, you know, essentially trapped. And yes, the allegations was the last straw. Yes, she posted about it. And this is all. This is all. So when the allegations come out, where. Where is he? Did he already.
David
Peace.
Harley
He peaced out when. When she made that video about it?
Kate
Yes. Okay, so the allegations happened on June 10 and June 10. So the mom of the girl files a restraining order. Sarah also files a restraining order same day. So she knows about it the same day. They both get their restraining orders approved, and this guy takes off.
Caleb Waver
He.
Kate
I mean, if they were trying to arrest him at the school, I'm. I'm assuming that he was away on a trip, this happened, and this coach immediately called the cops about it. And so this guy takes off. He has two pending restraining orders on him, and he, like, can't be found for the next 24 hours. And then they weren't able to do anything about it because the alleged crimes, the specific ones that they were told about that day or. Or that week, they took place on Cherokee land, and Sean was a member of the Osage tribe. And so the police had to refer it to. They referred it to the U.S. attorney's office in Tulsa, which is the organization that has jurisdiction over crimes on tribal land. So basically, yeah, it complicates things. It slows things down. And so. And so that's what happens. So then she has this restraining order, so he can't be home, so he is away. And then that's June 10, June 20. She posts the tick. The. The tick tock. Where she does the big. She does the big caption about, you guys are my army, you know, all that and saying, like, let's respect the girl's privacy and all of that. So she posts that 10 days after this all happens, probably because she's getting tons of questions about it, talking about her trauma and pain. And then two weeks later, she does the pedophile video. And then a few days later, or like, what, 12 days later, less than two weeks later, he kills her and kills himself. So that is where we are at now. And a lot of has come out since specifically from both of their exes who are on the same page and think this guy is a monster.
Venmo Advertiser
Yep.
Kate
Total monster.
Harley
Right, well, we know who he is now, but, yeah, they were. They just had warned people, but. Yes, yes.
Kate
Yeah, exactly. Oh, one thing that. That Gilson Sarah here mentioned in her restraining order request was that he had a gun, had threatened suicide, and went on the run. So he had talked to her enough for her to know that he was dangerous. So. All right, so they both got restraining
Harley
orders, and they got an emergency protective order. Yeah, I see her. And the court records showed she had sought protective orders in the past.
Kate
Yeah, and they were both thrown out eventually. Yeah, that was 2021. So it must have been really rough in 2021 when she was really scared for her life.
Harley
Yeah.
Kate
And then maybe things cooled off for a little bit. Hey, I just Venmoed you for rent.
Venmo Advertiser
Nice. Now I can instantly spend it, whether I'm checking out online with them or using the Venmo debit card.
Kate
Card. Say more.
Venmo Advertiser

Kate
And then the. The allegations came out. But according to her ex, this was kind of an ongoing vicious cycle for the five years that they were married. Okay, so we find out after he dies. Well, after he kills her and kills himself. His own children say that he doesn't deserve a funeral, and they do not plan to give him one, because under Oklahoma law, Sean's children are the ones who are considered next of kin, and they get to decide what is done after his death. So instead of doing Any kind of garbage. Yeah, they could. They could do whatever they could do
Harley
that you could throw in the garbage.
Kate
Yeah, why not? Yeah, you don't have to do anything. So basically they didn't do any kind of services, any funeral, and they cremated him and now he's in like a family plot at the funeral home. Like, he's not even in like a. Like a cemetery with. With other people. He's like, in his own place. So, I mean, I would have just thrown him in the garbage. But yeah, people are weird about the afterlife and they think, oh, you can't be, you know, doing stuff like that because maybe it'll come back to you. But whatever. So we find out that. We find out that the kids who are, you know, like I said, teenagers to like mid-20s, some of them with children, they're like, this guy, what he did, he does not deserve any sort of peace in the afterlife. And we're not doing anything about it because they're.
Harley
They're teenagers. A couple of them, right?
Kate
Yeah. 15 years old. His youngest was 15 at the time, which is the age of the girl that. That he abused ongoing, probably for years. Disgusting and clear. Probably not the first one because, like, why are you coaching softball or basketball? Girls basketball. Like, what are you doing?
Harley
But just like, just like the vetting process, once someone has had sought protective orders because someone had engaged in threatening behavior. Also possessed a firearm, threatened suicide. But even just on the lowest, like, threatening behavior shouldn't be with kids.
Kate
You don't get to be a coach
Harley
like it should be. So that stuff is so.
Kate
Well, it sucks because all that stuff gets thrown out and then it's not on his record, you know, like.
Harley
Right.
Kate
It sucks. And I don't think that that'll change because then people will say, oh, well, people can just do like fake protective orders just to guys over.
Caleb Waver
Right.
Kate
Which is what they always say.
Harley
Yeah. Yeah. And that never happens, though. That never ever happens ever.
Kate
Not a lot.
Harley
No. Listen, it'd be opposite in comparison, right? It's not a worthy comparison.
Kate
Yeah, no, it's not.
Harley
But yeah, it just sucks.
Kate
Some crazy people that.
Harley
Of course.
Kate
Yeah, yeah, yeah, of course.
Harley
But no, I. I agree when it comes to kids, I think it's just being less leniency on people's behaviors and stuff like that.
Venmo Advertiser
Please.
Kate
God.
Harley
And just like, also, okay, you engage. Someone said you engage in threatening behavior and. And maybe it doesn't pan out like you. This isn't the end all be all. You can go work. Not with kids. Right.
Kate
Just not with kids.
Harley
Like, what's like is it's like such a calling to be with kids in this situation, you know? I'm just saying.
Kate
I know.
Harley
I don't know. I. Listen, I. I don't have kids, but I always try and put myself in the shoes and I'm just like. Like the stories I've heard. I'd be weirded out in a lot of situations. Like, I'm like, I. I never understood why my mom didn't let me have a sleepover at some friend's houses.
Kate
Yeah.
Harley
And now I look back and I'm like, oh, yeah, that house is like, I thought it was cool because they have a super Nintendo. I have a super Nintendo.
Caleb Waver
Yeah.
Harley
But I'm not picking up on all the.
Kate
That's going around house is not cool.
Harley
Exactly. And. And now I think about. I'm like, timely. My kid wouldn't sleep in anyone's house.
Kate
Dude. Yeah. Y.
Harley
You know what I mean?
Kate
My mom worked in the. In the court system, and she was very, like, very careful about places we slept over. Like, if. If there were. If there was like a single mom who had a boyfriend, she's like, no. She's like, who the is that? You're not.
Harley
Strange guy. No, of course. Strange guy.
Kate
Loose guy. We don't want loose guys.
Harley
No, loose men.
Kate
Yeah. And this makes me think about the whole Sophie Cunningham thing that's happening, of course, where this is the real threat to girls in sports. It's grown men who are their coaches, who are their trainers, who are their doctors. They are the ones who are abusing girls and also causing them to quit sports because of things that happen to them. It is never trans women. It is guys like Sha Duffy who weasel their way into travel sports teams and then end up finding ways to get alone with teenage girls after the game. These are the threats, and these are the same men that are, like, really adamant that trans women are trying to ruin women's sports. They don't actually give a. At all. So. Okay, so we find out that his
Harley
kids, Sophie, was the. The WNBA player who's like, I care
Kate
about girls and sports.
Harley
Did you see. Did you see what she posted the other day?
Kate
I see all of it.
Harley
You see all of it?
Kate
Yes.
Harley
You don't you see our secret link here?
Kate
Oh, let me see. Oh, God. What? Ew, I hate her so much. What is she saying? Can I play it or no?
Harley
Yeah, on mute.
Kate
Ew, I hate this. I'm not playing.
Harley
You believe that she.
Kate
Well, this is from April.
Harley
Well, it's new to me.
Kate
Here, let me just mute it and play it. This is what you wanted me to see.
Harley
No, I didn't send that.
Kate
Yes, you.
Harley
That's not what I sent. Why are you pranking me on the show like that?
Kate
Oh, my God, bro. Yes, you did. Oh, God. Yeah, so it's crickets. Like, someone said it's crickets from her on stuff like this. She's busy, like inviting anti trans activists to games and stuff.
Harley
But do you see all the. Do you see those losers? Those dudes, those losers that come? So like, bro, that guy, someone, he, he was in the NBA at one point or something like that, and he was like, oh, now I'm gonna join the WNBA because I identify. And it's just like, dude, what are you doing? The, the, the bit from 2020 that.
Kate
Yes.
Harley
Like a sneako viewer would do. But you're a grown man. Yeah, like, you're doing, you're doing it now. Like, this is like, this is like how a 14 year old comments on this discussion here. That's what people do. They, A lot of people muddy it up. Yeah, they muddy it up with, with nonsense and just fill, fill it trash. Like those guys just being like, oh, I'm gonna do it. It's like, shut up, shut up.
Kate
And also one of them, it's not
Harley
funny, not smart, not clever. That's like you are. You're 13 years old in the brain with that.
Kate
Yeah. And they were all also, as far as I know, both terrible at basketball. And one of them has like multiple charges against him relating to abuse against women.
Harley
Really? Oh, my God.
Kate
So, like, that's, that's the thing. Like, it's just so, it's just so stupid. And they're not. They clearly don't actually give a. About women's sports. It all just comes back to wanting to make fun of women, ridicule women, degrade them, make fun of our sports, make fun of our, our abilities and all of that. So.
Harley
Except for my boy. My boy that drinks out of the garbage. You saw how excited he was. He was talking about the Dallas Liberty Wings.
Kate
The Dallas Liberty wing.
Harley
He just, he just misspoke. He just misspoked at the. He misspoke at the end there.
Kate
No, it was so cute.
Harley
Like a Dallas Liberty. It's not, it's not, it's not a. The word that he said that. It's not a slur, you know, but it's like, it's. It's a borderline one. You know what word? You didn't watch the whole video.
Kate
Oh, my God, what did he end with saying? I don't remember.
Harley
He was like, oh. He was like, easy, fun. He's like, she's the best female player in the wnba. And I was like, who's the best male player?
Kate
Oh, that's right. Oh, that's right.
Harley
And then his poor old brain. We can't. We'll talk about it later.
Kate
I can't remember what he said. I remember he said something, but. Yeah, I actually thought he was gonna have a different answer, and I'm glad he didn't. I think.
Harley
Yeah, no, he's about it. He was going to the game with his sister and stuff. So he, like, asks me about it, and then I have. Remember I told you I have that buddy who's, like, a hater of mine? Not a hater. My hater of the w. Hater. Yeah, yeah. And he was like, hey, but. But also, like. He's like, caitlin Clark's the sickest in the league.
Kate
Of course they all hate. It's so where they hate women's sports, but they love Caitlin Clark. Isn't that so interesting?
Harley
Yeah. So when I told him, I was like. He was like, yeah, w. No one does watches. W. I'm like, ah, dude, the tickets are selling out. Me and Amir tried to get tickets. It was sold out in Montreal.
Kate
Yeah, they had a big.
Harley
He was like, amir. And I was like, bro, Amir knows more player names than I do. I just know which ones are.
David
Are.
Harley
Are. Are.
David
Are.
Harley
Are. WNBA reality show.
Kate
Exactly. Exactly. Thanks. Thanks to me. And we love that. That's good. Yeah. Let's get one of those before we get back to this. Oh, someone asked Kate. Someone asked Kate, what did you think of Dijon's ejection after the so Sophie incident? Well, there's actually footage doing that Same thing to J.C. sheldon two years ago when she was on the Sun. Exact same play. Sophie just got a common foul for it. So that's what I think of that. I think it should have been a common foul anyway.
Harley
Was this the white thing?
David
It should have been a foul. I didn't see anything.
Kate
That's right.
Harley
She got all ball.
Kate
All ball, all ball.
Harley
Was this the white privilege tweet moment? Is that what is. Someone got ejected from a game and then they tweeted white privilege from the locker room.
Kate
Oh, I don't know about that.
David
Yes, that was.
Kate
Yeah, that was. Dijon tweeted white privilege. Yeah, and then she tweeted 8 23, because that's when they're playing them again, which I love. She's Such a.
Harley
That's how you do it. That's how you. That's how WWE does it.
Kate
All right.
Harley
That's how you do it. That's how you do it.
Kate
Build. Build the drama, girl.
Harley
Yeah.
Caleb Waver
Yeah.
Kate
Build the drama.
Harley
They know what they're doing. Yeah, but what was the end of that Sophie video? What was she saying at the end there?
Kate
I don't. What? She didn't say anything. She's just dancing.
Harley
Oh, okay. Weird.
Kate
Was that the video you meant to send?
Harley
Is that what you. I. Were you trying to watch that?
Kate
No.
Harley
Okay, so.
Kate
Okay, great. Whatever. Okay, back to the story. Back to the story. Okay. So we find out his kids obviously hate him. They don't want anything to do with his piece of funeral or anything. Like, he doesn't deserve that. For his actions against this girl, for his actions against our stepmom.
Harley
He's like a piece of five times over. I wish he just handled himself. It's so.
Kate
That's what I'm saying.
Harley
Like, it's just. I don't know.
Kate
Why must we kill other.
Harley
I couldn't imagine what it'd be like being their kids, you know?
Kate
So awesome being there.
Harley
It's just. Yeah, I, I, I'm at a loss. Words because. Just so up. And, and I said it before in the group chat where I was just like, if you're gonna do it, just do you just do you just do you.
Kate
That's the thing I'll never understand.
Harley
I don't want to like, do it outside. No one should even clean it or anything.
Kate
Just walk into the ocean. Leave everyone alone.
Harley
No, seriously, that's, no, actually, that's a, that's it. Like, right.
Kate
Put rocks in your pockets.
Harley
Shout out to dogs. By the way.
Kate
Shout out dogs.
Harley
You know when dogs. Because when they're, when they're gonna die, they get up and they're like, ah, I'mma head out. Yeah, walk away and go die to not bother anyone. Wish this piece of did that.
Kate
Yeah, you should have just walked into the. Walked into the ocean. All right, so more information comes out from his ex wife, the mother of those kids. And it paints a bigger picture about what a dirt bag he was. Because of course, Sarah was not the first woman that he abused. Apparently Sean repeatedly threatened suicide throughout their marriage.
Harley
Oh my God.
Kate
They had five kids together. And claims that he often warned her that he would take her out with him.
Harley
Oh, my God.
Kate
So I imagine he was also forcing her to have sex with him. That's just my own everything.
Harley
You're a. No, I, I Agree the same. You're a prisoner.
Kate
Yeah, exactly. Because, like, why five kids with this guy? According to Stephanie, who is the wife, she believes his mindset was always, if he couldn't have her, nobody else could. Which seems to be the same thing. And also, and also, she was only 17 years old when they got married. They started dating when she was 15 and he was 20. So he has been a pedophile forever. She said in a small town, it didn't seem weird at the time, but now in context of the other allegations, it definitely has a different shade to it. And I mean, back in the day that wasn't that weird. Right. Because girls were just seen as like more mature. Right. That was the, the kind of arguments to, you know, allow creepy older men to date children. And in a small town, I'm sure that had been happening for generations. Right, but this is why you don't let your kids date older people, because there's a reason they're not dating people their own age. Also this week, Sarah's ex husband. So now we're going to go back to Lyall, the good guy in this situation. So Sarah's ex husband, Lyle, they share two kids. He filed to block Sean's beneficiaries from receiving any payouts. And that would be his kids. That's, that's Sean's kids. He's like, you guys, sorry, you don't get any money from this guy. He said that they. Oh, when he talked about Sarah, he and Sarah. So this is Lyle. Lyle and Sarah divorced about seven years ago. But they had been like friendly in parenting, co parenting, very successfully it seems. And I'll show, actually I can show you Lyle, Zoom this out. So this is Lyle here on the right. Shout out to him for being a good guy. This is Sarah and their kids back in the day. And in Lyle's filing to block the payouts, he said that because Duffy intentionally and feloniously took the life of Sarah, his beneficiaries should be barred from inheriting any of her assets. Now I don't know what kind of assets she had because of like the bankruptcy stuff from a couple years ago. But yeah, apparently there's a stipulation.
Harley
So he's just saying, yeah, the kids that were not her kids would not have the money. Right?
Kate
Yes. Yeah, yeah.
Harley
Only his stuff, like it's also. Those kids are victims now and now they gotta go deal with a court thing. And I know he's just looking out for his own and probably feels away and doesn't have a connection There and. But like, it's just rough for them. Like his. His kids just gross.
Kate
Yeah. That's like seven children that have now been traumatized. Right. Seven kids that have lost two parents. Because it seems like this was, you know, like a. Somewhat of a blended family. And there were kids in the home when this happened. Who knows how many. And then in. Let's see. Okay. And then Lyle said that he remembers Sarah as a mom, a daughter, a sister and a friend. She was always a beautiful person inside and out. She was a wonderful mother and would die for her children. In fact, her trying to protect. Protect children is what ultimately led to her death. And it was a brave thing to come out and publicly say that he was a pedophile because I'm sure he would not have wanted to do that. Clearly he went on the run. He was not going to take responsibility for it. And so she made it known. And unfortunately he was a.
Harley
And that wasn't like. That was something that made him do this. The guy said he was going to do it multiple times.
Kate
A thousand percent put it.
Harley
Putting it out like he was already on the run, already had lied about having a gun. He was gonna come and do it.
Kate
Already said he was suicidal.
Harley
No part of it that was like this made it, you know. But that was probably some. He said, I am to try and
Kate
just make it, oh my God, you ruined my life. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. No, I'm sure that he of course, tried to make this her fault in, you know, those final days, which is horrible, disgusting. Say so. Then Stephanie Ramsey, who I could not find on the Internet, shout out to her for burying herself in that way. That is Sean's ex wife, the one who met him when she was 15 years old. She's also a hero in this story. She says, we're aware of Lyle's filing. However, I'm focused on our kids at the time. My children don't want anything of Sarah's. Haven't asked for anything of hers and never expected anything. So they're both on the same page, which is great.
Harley
You just have to still go through.
Kate
Yes, you gotta do it.
Harley
You just have to do it. You have to go through the motion of it.
Kate
Yeah.
Harley
And exactly.
Kate
Yeah, got you. Instead, Ramsay says her kids simply want the personal belongings that belong to their father. They want their dad's things that have sentimental value. And the little left he left them after passing. And apparently most of it, most of his stuff was sold in the past six weeks by Sarah. So she was, according to Stephanie, like selling off all of his, I think, since the allegations dropped. And so they were. They're just trying to like, recoup what potentially might be left. And Lyle here on the right, he also stepped up and covered all the funeral costs for Sarah and said he promised her parents that he would give her the funeral, the services that she deserved, which we love. So we love that for him. Thank you. Thank you, Lyle, for being a good dude in this situation. This is fucking horrifying. And I just wanted to zoom out a little bit and talk a little bit more about domestic violence in this situation. So nearly half of all women who are murdered in the United States are killed by a current or former intimate partner. And more than half of these intimate partner homicides are by firearm. And in the most horribly ironic way, Oklahoma was apparently one of the first states to create an anti red flag law law. Red flag laws keep guns out of the hands of people like Sean Duffy. They've been passed in more than a dozen states across the country. And they allow police or even family members to remove firearms from at risk people who might present a violent threat, either to themselves or others. But back in May 2020, the nation's Oklahoma bragged about being the nation's first anti fr. Anti red flag law. Are having the first one on the books, which is just so weird to brag about because Right in their. In their description of. Clearly shows what the issue could be like. Literally. This is what I just said. Remove firearms from at risk people who may be a. A violent threat to themselves or others. Dom, who was the senator who sponsored the spill, said these types of laws are a serious abuse of constitutional rights. But there has to be a point where my constitutional right to be alive is more important than your constitutional right to be an abuser. And someone with issues who could shoot me with their gun. Right.
David
No, guns are more important.
Kate
Okay, thank you. That's.
Harley
You should just get like, honestly, like psycho psychological re evaluations on a somewhat consistent basis if you have a gun. I wish guns. More guns. Bigger guns.
David
Stricter.
Harley
A stricter. Yeah. Stricter barrier of maintaining them, not just like renewing a license. If someone is like, it's worth it. If someone has accusations like this or they're going through that, then, you know, having having someone evaluate that. A face to face with that person. Something, you know. You know, people are gonna. People are gonna scam it anyways. Like he. Sean, he lied about having a gun.
Kate
Exactly.
Harley
So he lied about it.
Kate
Exactly.
Harley
You know, and people are gonna do that. It's just. You Know, but some, it just feels like not enough is happening ever. Like, and this guy's like, this is constitutional right. It's like, bro, it's a crazy man with a gun. What are you talking about? About like, crazy man with a gun who works with children and you know, people, multiple people have sought protective orders. How's it not take him seriously, Take his gun. Take his, take his gun while you sort it out.
Kate
Really what it, that's really what it is. It's almost like, like if, if kids are in a violent, a potentially violent situation and CPS removes them for like temporary custody. Right. Like, figure it out just in case it really is that bad.
Harley
Yeah, yeah.
Kate
Because isn't it better to be safe? Right. Safer than safe instead of sorry. Like. And I, I just can't believe that. Right. In this thing they talk about why these red flag laws are so important and then immediately say, but yeah, that, that. And, and you know, I just think about all the other, the other people that have been in these situations that could have benefited from a red flag law in Oklahoma who are now dead.
Harley
Well, it's just confusing when they like pass something where it's like, yeah, if you're a crazy person, you can't have a gun and you're a gun owner and then you also happen to be a police officer and going for psychological evaluation and it's like you, you have a gun as a job. You know what I mean?
Kate
Yes. Oh, and the cops, I mean we can. I have a thing about the cops too, because a lot of times police officers, like, I think they did a, they did a survey of police a few years ago and 40% of them admitted in the survey that they had committed some form of domestic violence.
Harley
Love the honesty.
Kate
And that's just. Yeah, Exactly. That's the 40 that actually admitted it. Certainly not all the people who committed it admit that sort of thing. Right?
Harley
Yeah.
Kate
And so that is like an insane, insanely high ratio for a profession.
Harley
It's. It like it in my brain, I'm like, that can't be right. But I've heard that before. I've heard that like it is a known statistic that the likelihood of domestic abuse or domestic violence is higher with that job.
Kate
Yeah.
Harley
But yeah, the number is always freaky high. And I like, I just always in my head I'm like, that's really.
Kate
It was self reported. Like, it wasn't even just like putting data together of victims. Like, this was a, a survey of actual cops, which is crazy. Let me see what else I Have. Oh, okay. So regarding anti red flag laws, research shows that There is a 23% reduction in rates of intimate partner homicide when individuals convicted of any violent misdemeanor. So not specifically domestic violence.
Harley
This is a good stat.
Kate
This is a good stat.
Harley
Why don't they operate on that though?
Kate
Because our country is rotten to the core when it comes to guns. When, when. When people with any violent misdemeanor are prohibited from accessing firearms, which is the case in, in some states, but not many. 23 reduction in deaths of, of partners.
Harley
How do you not just like run with that? Like, that's like exactly it. It just. Lives saved instantly.
Kate
I know.
Harley
What's the problem? Always like, someone's money is getting with somehow somewhere, and then someone's getting paid for it. It's always a thing like that.
Kate
The gun manufacturers, they make so much money. They make so much money off of this stuff and then they are just allowed to stop people from doing research like this. Like there isn't a ton of research on firearms and, and the deaths and the, the destruction they cause in this country specifically because it's all blocked. Like the lobbyists get together and they make sure that the Senate blocks that kind of. And so it's, it's. It's insane. And people like Sarah are the ones who suffer. Right. Like she was stuck in her relationship. Clearly he was sought a protective order.
Harley
Stable, like sort of protective order. Yeah. On someone who. On someone who had already had someone else. Someone else had sought protective orders. So now it's multiple people.
Kate
Yep.
Venmo Advertiser
Over.
Harley
Over an extended period of time. How's it not just acted on? So crazy.
Kate
Especially when she filed one in. In June and it, it stuck. So they knew and they didn't do any. They didn't do enough to protect her after that, clearly, because he was sort of in the wind. But then he eventually shows back up. So, like, why wasn't his gun taken away from him? And then I looked into restraining orders because I was like, how effective are they? Because what I always hear is that a woman gets a restraining order and a guy just walks through it and kills her. Right. So I was like, does this happen as frequently as it sounds? And it says that restraining orders are important, but they aren't perfect. They do protect people. They definitely protect a lot of people.
David
I mean, it just gives you the option that if they break the restraining order, you can call the cops and then they'll get arrested, but it doesn't really physically stop them from still coming and harassing you.
Kate
Right. And if they kill you, it's over. Right.
Harley
If I were a woman and I had a situation like that, I would get a gun. I would get a gun for sure.
Venmo Advertiser
I would go.
Harley
I would learn how to use it. And yeah, if we're doing guns, and that's. That's pathetic. And that is.
Kate
But what are you.
Harley
No, it's true. I see it every time people say something, their stories, you know, they report it. It gets reported. And then, yeah, the next one is the one they. That's when he finds out that there's a restraining order and then escalates his behavior.
Kate
Exactly. You know, Exactly. Yeah. So according to. This is one of the. One of the articles I was able to find one of the studies, restraining orders among victims of intimate partner violence. This. This stat was better than I expected. So only about 11% of the 230 women, 231 women killed by male intimates had been issued a restraining order. About one fifth of the female iph victims who had a restraining order were killed within two days. Oh, wait, no, that's not good. I thought that was a good stat. That is not good. So only 11 of them actually got restraining orders. Because I think a lot of women like me feel like they don't do anything right.
Harley
Or you just reporting it as a whole thing in itself.
Kate
Yes.
Harley
How many, you know, like how many times do you go through with it? And, you know, they're like, that's. It's not enough. Or it's not.
David
Yeah.
Harley
That we can't do anything about that.
Kate
Yeah.
Harley
There's a lot of. When you people forget that, like, especially a job like police officers, I've learned there's an enormous amount of discretion involved in that job. Like an insane amount of discretion. And it seems like up until the body cam era, the discretion could just be whatever which way they wanted.
Kate
Yes. And it would just that they controlled the narrative completely.
Harley
Right. So now, like, when you go in and you have an issue, a restraining order, you know, it's so sad. But, yeah, you'd have to consider what you're wearing, what your composure is, how you go in there. Because you're going to go to some dude that's going to have. He's going to determine what, you know, he's going to judge this moment. You know what I mean? It's just, just. And I'm only basing this off of the fact that I've heard of so many people who have sought a protective order or got a restraining order and still end up getting killed. Something like that or deeply hurt.
Kate
Yeah, no, it happens a lot. And. And I. The. The stuff that I was reading, I think. I think the organizations who are, you know, talking about protecting victims, they don't want people to see restraining orders as ineffective. So a lot of them were saying they aren't perfect, but they do help. And, you know, it can set a boundary that shows that, you know, if they continue their behavior, then they could get arrested, they could get in trouble. But we're also seeing here that this says about one fifth of the female Iph victims, it's intimate partner homicide, who had a restraining order were killed within two days of the order being issued. About one third were killed within a month. So I think it just. The restraining order itself is not the issue. It is. These men are just gonna do it. Restraining order or not, that is just what they are going to do. Nearly half of those with a restraining order had been protected by multiple orders. Victims killed in a shared residence had lower odds of having a restraining order. That makes sense. And that is. Was the case with Sarah Gilson, at least in 2021. Because they were living together.
Harley
Yeah. And you're like. It's. People be like, you got to get out of there. They warned her, but she, like, the kids have to go to school tomorrow.
Kate
Right, Exactly.
Harley
You can't just, like, get everyone out and then go to a hotel and the money doesn't. Like, there's no way to do it without, you know, how could you possibly just move life out of. Away from this person? You can. You guys are tied up together.
Kate
Right? There's.
Harley
There's got to be something that can be done in such a situation. But I honestly don't have the solution.
Kate
I don't.
Harley
I do understand how someone like her. Her hands are tied. So then maybe you try and appease this person. Walk on eggshells around them.
Kate
Yeah, exactly. Like, they count on that. And it was interesting. They said, like, rural versus urban. Like, women in rural settings are less likely to have a restraining order in rural. Is that what it says? Victims from rural counties?
Harley
Oh, yeah.
David
Yeah.
Harley
I feel like that would make sense because, like, everyone knows each other, Right. You kind of know each other around town a lot more. I feel like it's a. I don't know. I. I just. I'm basing it off shows, movies and stories like. Yeah, small town. Like sheriff, you're. What? It's his nephew.
Kate
Exactly.
Harley
Here talking about from his neck.
Kate
You don't want everyone to know his business and all that. And this says most female victims did not have a restraining order when they were killed. So does that mean that if more had restraining orders that they would be more effective? Or does it just. If someone's that psychotic and, and abusive, they're just going to do it? It's hard to know. And it even says here like, that we need more research to understand like, what exactly can protect women and other victims at this point. But yeah, only 20% of survivors, according to this. This was very helpful. And this is domesticshelters.org which actually I think is a Canadian site. But this, this source, our restraining order is really the best option. It said that only 20% of. Of people get restraining orders. Like 20% of the victims had restraining orders. So there's, there's 80% of people experiencing domestic abuse. And it's completely legal. Right. Because there, there's no oversight at all. It's just what's happening in your home and nobody knows what's going on. And also another, another reason that protective orders don't seem to be that helpful is that it says, where's my notes? There it is. In a survey, when survivors were asked what happened when you obtained an order of protection, over half of the respondents said the protection order was violated. They reported it and nothing happened to the abuser. And so like, what are we doing?
Harley
Did we watch it? Was it on this show? Or was I like on my couch sleeping, watching another. But it was a guy. Someone had made an accusation about the guy. And then he went to the cop and the cop was like, h. You're, you're, you're cool, dude. No, I know. She's crazy. She's. Yeah, you seem like a normal guy. And the cop was just very. It was a much older cop. The cop looked like he was in his 70s and he kind of just clear. Okay. He like cleared. It was some show. They're so stupid.
Kate
Their show sucks. But he wasn't 911. Right.
Harley
It may have just been a body paw patrol for boomers.
Kate
Yeah, exactly. It wasn't that, right?
Harley
No, no, it was like a real case. Yeah. And the guy was just like, ah. Yeah. She seemed like she was crazy. And he was like, right, dude. And it was just like, like something like that. Yeah, you can make a complain. The guy's like, nah, he seemed like a cool dude. Really didn't try. He didn't try and didn't try and sexually assault me. And I was in the room alone with him for hours.
Kate
Yeah, I mean, she's totally of it. Like, that's, that's that's the thing. Like, let's not go on our gut instincts, brothers. Like, if there's a paper trail, at least can we please investigate it? One of the people who ran the survey said no one enforces the restraining orders. Police won't even, won't even do anything. If you show them the paper, they say the abuser has to physically hit you again before they will enforce it. Which is insane to me because they always say something has to happen before you get a restraining order. So then you're sitting around waiting for something horrible to happen to you so you can prove that something horrible has been happening to you. And then you have a restraining order and the cops say, oh well, he didn't hit you hard enough for us to actually arrest him. Like, they're so concerned about not putting these abusers in jail that they're just letting their partners be killed. Another survivor told the survey, I've had one, but didn't feel it would protect me from him. He would use his friends to spy on me and tell him, cool friends. What cool guys. Yeah. And so it just seems like women don't trust law enforcement when it comes to stopping the abuse. And so you kind of just feel isolated, not just within your home, but also within like the criminal justice system. And there, I'm not going to leave you on just like this really sad, desperate note. There are ways to protect people or sort of like complement a, a restraining order. And so this, this site, domesticshelters.org said working with an advocate is key as they can help survivors safely plan and connect them with other resources in the community, such as safe housing and legal help. Unfortunately, taking steps to hide from an abuser may be a survivor's best bet at staying safe if the abuser is not behind bars. And like that's what you're saying. Like there's school in the morning, right? Like what, what do you do with.
Harley
You have a whole life. You have a whole life. You know, like money. This person might be controlling the money. They might be controlling the money.
Venmo Advertiser
Right.
Harley
You know, he can show up at
Kate
the kids school at any time. Like it's, it's so complicated. And they count on that. They count on that, like enmeshment of all of your stuff. So it makes it too difficult for you to actually make a move. But apparently domestic violence advocates are very helpful when it comes to that stuff. Survivors can hide their new location through address confidentiality programs. They can also consider changing their Social Security number to prevent financial abuse. Yeah, this is all stuff that you need a professional, an expert to help you with. And advocates say that while protection orders aren't perfect, in many cases they can send a clear message to abusers that there will be consequences for their actions. And so, yeah, I mean, I think we gotta get to the point where we're taking guns out of these people's hands. It clearly would not have saved Sarah Gilson's life, which is unfortunate because he lied about his gun being stolen.
Harley
And then they're always good. There's, people are always going to find a way.
Kate
Yeah, but that's no reason to just not do it.
Harley
For sure, for sure. But also like he, he doesn't need a gun. There's like, you know, it's the, it's the thing, it's the situation. Like even I, I, I like, I, I played sports my whole life and you know, I love men. I think men are awesome.
Kate
Great.
Harley
They're the best, especially the white ones. Maybe the Asians. I'll decide later. That's not important.
Kate
Okay, we'll do a tier list later.
Harley
I had, I'm looking at you. You bumped the whole average up big time, David.
Kate
That's right, David.
Harley
Yeah. But the thing is like, I, I, maybe it's crazy to say and I don't, I don't know, I can't. If I had a daughter and she was in soccer, gymnastics, basketball, and the coach is a guy. I'm not into it. No, I'm not into this. Just like I'm not, I'm not, I'm not into it. There's, you know what I mean? And, and I've, I've played sports my whole life and I know it's the same. Yeah, I know it could be the same with a son, but, but is, it is much higher.
Kate
Yeah.
Harley
And I know, who knows, there could be some reporting, a reporting mismatch there as well. Who knows? But I'm just saying, like, I have a hard time with that and you know, I never had that thought before.
Kate
I know.
Harley
And I know the news likes to bombard us with one thing. And so it has changed my mind to an extent. But I know there are some people out there have life changing coaches. A man coach. Exactly. And some people have a life changing experience with a coach. And it's, I've had good experiences with good coaches. All of them were men. And you know, like, so I, it's rough, but I'm just like, like I'm at a loss. So I'm like, I don't even know what to do. So I'm just like, I shrugs me the wrong way.
Kate
Well, it's tough because I don't like it. Like, I think, like, police policing the wrong people are drawn to the job. Right. Because they see vulnerable people that they can have control over. And like, that's why these like. Like the guy at Penn State, what's his name? Sandusky, Right?
Harley
Yeah.
Kate
He, like, started a whole channel.
Harley
Ashton Kutcher. He was on Twitter. He was like, not Sandusky. He's my boy or something. No, and it was like one of his last tweets ever. He got destroyed for it. Got destroyed for it and like, left Twitter and never came back, I don't think. But then he was like one of the first celebs I followed. Yeah. Then they posted to back their boy, Danny Masterson.
Kate
Danny Masterson, Yeah.
Harley
They were alive.
David
And he was like, at every P. Diddy party as well.
Harley
Yeah.
Caleb Waver
Was.
Kate
Oh, God, of course. Yuck. Yeah. So I think, like, the wrong people are drawn to jobs where there are vulnerable people at. At stake. Just trying to have a good time. Right. So I don't know what we do. I don't know what we do, but I. Yeah, it would be. I mean, I'm gonna be looking carefully at the. The coaches on my. Of my niece and nephew's teams, like, because they're going to be in sports their whole lives, I'm sure. Alien percent, you know, and like, right now their dad is helping coach, but, like, what happens when they get into school? Like, no travel ball. I'll tell you that right now. We're not doing hotels. That clearly is. Is something that I think creepos are attracted to.
David
I feel like that whole thing is insane too. Anyway, me too. I. I so much know a couple people whose kids are in it, and I'm like, yeah, how do you afford this? Like, you're just. What is traveling travel ball?
Harley
It's called travel ball.
Kate
Well, it's like you're. It's a travel team outside of like, your school team. So it's like, usually more elite players.
Harley
I know, but you go to like, other states and stuff or do like
Kate
insane tournaments every single weekend. It's big. I mean, I guess it's big everywhere, but especially, like, down south. There's a lot of like, big softball, baseball stuff, but every sport has it now. And it's such a cash cow. And then if you don't do that, then you're kind of on your back foot trying to get scholarships and things like that because you're not playing as much as these other kids. And then it's just. I don't know, it feels so stressful. And now they're. Now that I'm thinking of it, there's this layer of, who are these coaches that have their cell phone numbers and are texting them to come to their hotel room? But then, like, do you go with your kids to everything? Do you have to coach?
Harley
All right, girls, come in, girls, bring it in. Take a knee. All right, we got game tomorrow, so everyone check your Snapchats for messages from me.
Kate
Exactly. Like, what are we doing?
Harley
The fuck's going on?
Kate
Yeah, I'll give you guys the lineup for tomorrow on. On Snap. Just discuss disgusting shit. And it's. It's scary. And I think, speaking of Pervert park and other things, like, the number. The sheer number of people who are found to be guilty of this stuff is scary. Like, what. What do we do about that? How do we stop whatever cycle is happening from creating these people? Like, I. I don't know. I don't know what to do. So I wanted to end with this. I'm not saying that anyone has to give, but I think it's just good news that Sarah's kids. There is a fundraiser started for them via. Well, Lyle is part of it, and they've raised almost $35,000 for the kids. Not that that is going to bring back their mom, but it might help.
Harley
So he had to do the. The court jumping through hoops to make sure that his kids, her kids, get all of it. And also here, for the other kids, let's raise some money for them. Okay. And. And his. Their.
Kate
This is his kid still. This is his kids. I don't.
Harley
Oh, I thought it was the other. Oh, it was for the other kids. Oh, yeah. Because they have their whole life now.
Kate
Yeah.
Harley
With no mom, no dad.
Kate
It's so sad. Well, yeah, well, they have their dad, so.
Harley
Yeah.
Kate
Yeah, these are.
David
He has.
Harley
He has a whole other family right now also.
Kate
Yes.
Harley
So I wonder what's going to happen to the kids. Do they. Are they going to go live with him or what's going.
Kate
Probably.
Harley
That's so crazy.
Caleb Waver
I know.
Kate
But I'm just glad this, like, small community was able to. To raise some money for these poor kids. It's so sad. Like, why. What was the need for this? And the GoFundMe says Sarah was an incredible mom. Her children were the center of her world, and everything she did was for them. She loved them fiercely, worked hard to provide for them, and dreamed of giving them the best life Possible. So, yeah, they have. The whole family has such a long road ahead. I mean, just think of all the people that this guy has killed. Like, all the. All the lives. Not just like, physically, but metaphorically. Like, these kids lives will never be the same. So many people's lives will never be the same, all because of this guy being disgusting and having to do what he did. So you. And I wish that you weren't such an abusive coward and that you would get to face. Face these people in. In court and actually go to prison for what you did. But unfortunately, there will be no justice in that sense. Very, very sad. Oh, God. Let's do some super chats to break things up, and then we'll just end on a little. On a little palate cleanser.
David
Hello, everyone. Thanks for being here with us on Tuesdays. Let's see. Right off in the beginning, Chell's buck sent a milestone and said, I know this is all David's fault. He won't read membership donations. Makes them late. What are we going to do with David? Well, here we are, and I read your milestone, and I wasn't the reason we're late.
Harley
What are you gonna do?
David
So what now are we gonna do next month to respond again?
Kate
Congratulations on being a man. Be me for another month. Yes. Rest in peace, Sarah. Oh, God.
Harley
Absolutely. It's terrible. I feel for her family, even the community. There's like, it's. It's such a small comparison to what her kids are going to go through, but there's an element of, like, a community, like, you know, neighbors like you. Every time you drive by the house, something like, you know, like. And you're like. You just think, oh, it's been happening Right, right, right there. Yeah. You just think back, I could have helped or done something. This guy, this guy awful. Him to hell.
Kate
Oh, him to hell. I wish I believed in an afterlife and that he was being punished. Maybe I'll pretend just for him. Yeah, I can do that.
Harley
You like that?
Kate
Yeah, I like that. He's roasting on a spot. Spit like a.
Harley
You can go to church and pray. You can go to church and pray that he's in hell.
Kate
Okay, I'll do that.
Harley
Like, hey, guys, me again. I know it's been like 20 years, but just. I'll be quick. I hope this motherfucker's burning.
Kate
Yeah, if he's not.
Harley
And if he's not. That's on. That's on y'.
Venmo Advertiser
All.
Harley
That's on y'.
Venmo Advertiser
All.
Kate
He did plenty. He did plenty.
Harley
No, seriously, I I. I just. Yeah. Do you? Do you, dude, yeah.
Kate
Just do you hell.
David
Shout out Smiling Sushi for sending five podcast gift memberships.
Kate
Thank you, Smiling Sushi. We love that.
David
Too thick to quit said. All H3 hosts do is be late and lie.
Venmo Advertiser
Hey.
Kate
Wow, wow, wow. Not wrong today. Not wrong today I will. But that's okay.
Harley
I have nothing to say on the matter.
Kate
We have nothing to say.
David
If you speak your name, big trouble.
Kate
Exactly.
David
Kelrazer said. Kate, I know you said you weren't going to cover the Lindsay Clancy case, but evidence is pointing to her husband tried to un alive her and the kids, but she lived. Please, Kate, I only trust your true crime breakdowns.
Kate
Oh my God. I. I will say I saw that. And that is an interesting twist because I remember when it happened. If anyone isn't familiar, it's a story in Mass, Massachusetts, I believe, or New Hampshire, somewhere nearby, where a woman apparently went into postpartum psychosis, took the lives of her children and tried to also take her own life. But now in court, her defense team is poking holes in that and pointing to her husband, as David said, having something to do with it. I have not been following it closely, so I don't know how reasonable that stuff is, but if it's enough to get her, not enough to save her from a conviction, I'm kind of okay with it because I don't even think she should be on trial. Like, if this was a postpartum psychosis thing, she should not be on fucking trial. She should be in a hospital. Like, that's. That's just me though. That's just me. I don't. I do not see why she's having to go through this whole trial, but maybe there's something else. I don't know. Anyway, maybe I do want to look into it, but I. I don't want to talk about dead children on this show, so we probably will not cover it.
David
Okay, well, shout out Ms. LA RAW who said first super chat in forever. I love what you all are doing with the show. Kate, I feel so seen as a lesbian. Harley, you're hilarious. David, you're crushing production. You all make my day. Thank you so much.
Kate
A thank you so much. That's really kind.
David
Jorge Perla said. Hi guys. Today is my wife Ashley's birthday. We both love watching you so much. Would to love to give her a bday shout out. Especially from Harley, who makes her laugh more than anyone, including me. I've made peace with this.
Kate
That's tough.
Harley
She said she wanted a BJ Shout out. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Shout out. Shout out. In them lips. No. Happy birthday from everyone at After Dark.
Kate
Yeah, yeah.
David
And from your husband Jorge. Shout out. To Liss May, who sent five podcast gift memberships. Thank you.
Caleb Waver
Hey. Thank you.
Harley
Shout out. Shout out. Shout out.
David
And they also donated $20 and said, Today's my 28th birthday and all I want is a happy birthday, Alyssa from my favorite gay, Jewish David podcast. Please. I don't have any friends. Xoxo. I love you guys.
Harley
Happy birthday, Alyssa.
Kate
Hang on one second. It's okay if her husband is wrongfully convicted, if that gets her off the trial. Kate just said that.
Harley
No, you wouldn't say wrongfully convicted.
Kate
He would not get convicted. He is not the one on trial. The point of this is that if they can show reasonable doubt, then she will get off. This has nothing to do with him.
Harley
I don't know anything about the story of the details, but I do know that you did not say thank you. That's all I know really, about, like, a different.
Kate
Different frequency where I am just misinterpreted.
Harley
Why are you yelling at me, dude? I was on your side. Why are you yelling at me, kid? I was on your side.
Kate
It's just crazy.
Harley
Is she being mean to us again, David?
Kate
The words that come out of my mouth sound very different to different people. It's very interesting,
Harley
by the way, when you guys aren't here, she hits us.
David
She digitally hits us.
Kate
Poor Harley. Oh, yeah, yeah.
David
But yeah. I mean, anyone who knows how an actual court system works and doesn't just watch, like, dramas about it. You can't just magically then make someone else guilty who isn't even involved in the trial.
Kate
Arrest him right now.
Harley
Yes, I can and I will.
Kate
It's like how in, like, rom coms, they'll be like, oh, wait, we don't want to get married anymore. Let's make it these people's wedding. Like, that's not how it works.
David
Right? Like, do you remember the. The case that we covered where the. The cop died and they all tried to pin it on his girlfriend and then.
Harley
Yeah, she didn't get convicted.
David
They didn't magically then convict all the other cops that were involved in it.
Kate
Right? It's just doubt. It's just doubt. That's all it is.
David
Anyway, Rosie Hay says, hey, head fam. I got my first jury summons for next month, and I'm actually looking forward to it. H3. Oh, that. That's a. That's an emoji. Do you guys have any experience with jury Duty. Love you.
Kate
I wish.
David
Convict anyone?
Harley
We have a juror David was just talking about.
Kate
Remember the gay juror?
Harley
Yeah, he had a nice smile.
Kate
The rural juror.
Harley
Yeah, we had one. We got a juror.
Kate
We had a juice.
Harley
We got two jurors.
Kate
Firmly. Firmly.
Harley
Shout out. Firmly.
Kate
Shout out.
David
Shout out firmly. And shout out. Butchie Wean. Who's wanted to shout out dogs and cats.
Kate
Shout out.
Venmo Advertiser
Good.
Harley
Good, good, good.
David
I have some palate cleansers, and two of them are dog involved.
Kate
Oh, yay. We love that. Yeah, we love that. Okay. Is that. Is that it?
David
I mean, no, but we can. We can.
Kate
Yeah.
David
Let's do the palate cleansers and then do a few more.
Kate
Hey, I just Venmo'd you for rent.
Venmo Advertiser
Nice. Now I can instantly spend it, whether I'm checking out online with Venmo or using a Venmo debit card.
Kate
Say more.
Venmo Advertiser
More. Exactly. Because the more you do with Venmo, the more you get, like, earning up to 5% cash back with Venmo stash on a bundle of brands.
Kate
So order more pizza.
Venmo Advertiser
The meth demands it.
Kate
Get the Venmo debit card.
Venmo Advertiser

Kate
Na, let's do. Let's cleanse pallets. We had a return of the braid fade guy. This is one thing that I wanted to show. If you guys remember one of our very first episodes, we almost. Well, we thought that we were just going to get fired because we played a weird old man. What white man who had gone white man?
Harley
Was it the Dominican Republic white man?
Kate
He had gone to the Dominican Republic and gotten cornrows. And he.
David
An old school braid fade.
Kate
An old school braid fade, if you will. And so he, at some point in there, said the N word very loud with a. With an A, not a hard R. But still, as a white guy. That's not a word for us. As for us white guys. And so we all laughed and we were panicking, and it was. It was horrible. But this guy came up on my feed, and now I know why. It's because Harley follows him and comments on every single reel. But this guy is Miami promoter Nate, who he's with, I believe. That's right. And he showed up again. And at first I thought he was Rolo Tony, but then I was corrected by my friends. So here. Here is the state of Miami Influencer dudes on the street today. Don't come to the club.
Harley
I don't want ugly drugs.
Kate
He said if you're ugly, don't come to the club.
Harley
No, I believe he said, don't come to the club. I don't want ugly girls.
Kate
I have a good personality in office, working for me. I don't want you on a boat. I don't want you in a club.
Venmo Advertiser
Correct.
Kate
And I definitely don't want you in bed. Look at your hair. Who are you talking to?
Harley
This is my Tony Hawk American Wasteland custom character that I built. He looked like that and I made his face Maddale just because I was being crazy like that.
David
Because why not?
Kate
Oh my God. Did you summon him from. From the depths.
Harley
Oh, hey, you know Jack Doherty? This is Jack, 40 plus plus 20 years old.
Kate
Wait, let me see if it's here. Why isn't it here, Harley?
Harley
It is. It is there. There's. There's someone there. It's some somewhere there.
Kate
Harley wrote it's Jack40 on this guy's thing and I thought that was so funny. He's like, yeah, thanks. I write that on all of his posts.
Harley
Is that his page? Is it his page there? We're sticking to him, yo.
Caleb Waver
Yeah.
Harley
Good picture. What's his most.
David
Same picture.
Kate
Okay, these are pinned. Oh yeah. Guys, why are we cold scrolling on him again?
Harley
Not, not, not this one. Not this one.
Kate
I see what he's doing. He's flexing on us.
Harley
Don't let him flex on us. Why are we so happy? That's not my dad. So happy.
David
My bad time just pulling up the button.
Kate
I. I mean, you do look like you're climbing back from the dead. From the dead. Get there. This is Tuesday. This is so embarrassing. So yeah. Oh, here he is. It's the same day.
Harley
Stock is like seeing how your woman moves.
Kate
Stock is like seeing how your woman moves.
Caleb Waver
What?
Kate
How does this man have money? Can someone explain to me how this man has money?
Harley
Is real
Kate
massad for sure. What is that hair?
Harley
I know a massage psy up when I see one.
David
Also hair between two posts. He cut it all off.
Kate
Yeah. What the.
Harley
And also those pants have shown up too many times already.
Kate
Yeah, this is like the same day, right?
David
They're like skin tight.
Harley
What's that? Marketing mood 1 6K.
Kate
This one marketing model.
Harley
Right on my comments there. Dude, where are my comments, bro? I write it all the time. I do.
Kate
Oh, that's got P I M P behind it. Nice. So you're just saying you're pimping this girl out a model for my business.
Harley
Oh, yeah, this. Oh, yeah, it is on this one. I commented on this one.
Kate
Well, where is it? Harley, we're friends. Why isn't it showing up? Or are you lying? Don't hate me. Join me.
Harley
I swear. Oh, my God.
Kate
What a. What are you doing in your drawers?
Harley
Why is he. Why is he doing that? Stop moving like that, bro.
David
Stop making that.
Harley
Don't hold us like that. Don't hold us like that.
Kate
I'm pissing at the. The Swim up bar right now. What are you doing?
Harley
So
Kate
the. Did you just call me he? Someone said he doesn't. He's in crippling debt. I hope that's true. Jackie O. Bob. Yeah. What is this hair? Dude, look at all your sunspots. You're a thousand years old.
Harley
Yeah, dude, we're gonna. We're gonna beat you up.
Kate
Yeah, join me. Don't hate on me.
Harley
Did he just say, join me, bro? Yeah, go enjoy yourself, dude. You don't need us there.
Kate
Yeah.
Harley
What are you doing?
David
His tax and IRS strategies.
Kate
Oh, absolutely.
Harley
Fixing IRS problems.
Kate
God damn it. Oh, no one cares. What is his job? Oh, God, I'm sorry. You're loaded and you're at Planet Fitness. What's going on? Oh, God.
David
Yeah, you played yourself there. You cooked yourself. Gotta be an equinox if you're gonna have this.
Harley
Yeah, you gotta be an equinox. Dude, you're so stupid.
Kate
You're not an equinox or, like a private sesh. Honky tonk women. Dude, shut up.
David
Planet Fitness in Florida has got to be crazy.
Kate
I know. Yeah. Look at him just being creepy in the pool.
Harley
Always just elsewhere, pissing.
Kate
Yeah, right. He's always pissing.
Harley
He's always, like, literally doing, like, little kicky feet in the water there.
Kate
Yeah, yeah.
David
He's always in, like, the. Whatever the cuck position is in a pool.
Kate
That's where he is here in four feet, it's like. So what's your dad.
David
What are you doing?
Harley
Get this knob out of my face. I do have a wide facial, so we have a lot of.
Kate
Look at the pool stance.
David
It's like that Willem Dafoe picture.
Kate
Oh, my God.
David
But underwater.
Kate
Dude, what are you doing?
Harley
Look what he's doing in the water. My nephew, he's in the pool talking. Watch my handstand.
David
Watch me. Want to play Marco Polo? Want to play colors?
Kate
Nobody here wants to talk about taxes with you and your Mary Lou Bob. Like, what are you doing? Shut up.
David
I miss the old school braid fade.
Kate
I know. I miss it too. All right, and then we have three puppies or two puppies?
David
Two puppies. And then a. An AI Video.
Kate
Okay, Harley, this is the highest. About the puppies or about the AI?
David
Both, both, Both.
Kate
Both of them.
David
Highest jumping golden retriever in Ontario.
Harley
Is this Ontario, Canada, or Ontario, California?
David
I don't know.
Caleb Waver
Look.
David
Look at the back for context clues. What do you think, my super dogs?
Kate
Let's see if this dog's Canadian. This is Harley, the highest jumping golden retriever in Ontario, here to show you what he can do. Let's make some noise. Noise for Sir Chunks a lot. Sir Chunks a lot.
Venmo Advertiser
Yeah.
Kate
Is this a joke?
Harley
I don't think it was meant to be. Yeah, they're doing a bit. They must know. They must know. He never had a chance.
Kate
Dog was not getting up. There's no. I love that.
Harley
Do you know that? You ever see that dog, Bower? He's a golden retriever. You might see it next time you see a gold retriever online. He's eating, like, crazy fast, like a nutcase. And his name's Bow right now because his owner's always yelling at him. It's like, chill. And like, he got home once, and it was like, there was all this food, dog food on the floor, and he had, like, each dog sitting in front of. He was like, did you do this? And, like, one of his dogs, like, literally, like. And he's like, another dog. Did you do this? And every dog is normal. And then he's like, bauer, did you do this? And it cuts to Bauer, and Bauer's like, on the ground, like,
Caleb Waver
going.
Harley
Going crazy. Like, I've never seen a dog. Like, he's gonna. He's gonna hurt himself like, this one day.
Kate
If next time you get a Bauer video, send it to me about a video. All right? Rage baiting my fat dog. Oh, my God, this is mean already. All right, let's go. Oh, he limping. God, beagles are so microphone tape. Yeah, we didn't need it. Honestly, we didn't need it. Oh, give it to him. Oh, miss it. Miss it. Oh, you're gonna get your hand bit. Oh, yeah.
Harley
He's so pissed.
Kate
He's so mad.
Caleb Waver
He's just.
Kate
Stop being a dick. Oh, give it to him.
Harley
He keeps getting got by it also.
Kate
Yeah. Oh, that's mean. The fake throw is. Yeah, that's what he's really. He's embarrassed. God damn it. He got me again. Oh, maybe he doesn't have teeth.
Harley
He is old.
Kate
Give it to him. What is it? And Then missed it. Good job, buddy.
David
Okay. No. Go for it.
Harley
No.
Kate
What?
David
I don't want to go out.
Harley
David has something to say.
Kate
Where'd you put it?
David
You're the host, David.
Harley
I'm gonna say no. But it's your show.
David
No, but it's yours. Please.
Harley
It's not my show.
Kate
Please.
Harley
Okay, Kate, you go.
Kate
Well, I have another video from Harley.
David
She picked Harley over me.
Kate
Well, what am I supposed to do? What did you have? Nothing, I'm just talking to dog videos.
David
I was just gonna say, this reminds me of when you give dogs, like, sparkling water and they don't realize and they, like, go to drink, and then
Kate
they're like, I've never seen that.
David
Oh, it's really funny.
Kate
Well, that's interesting. I gotta see that.
David
I have seen this video, and it's incredible.
Kate
Okay.
Harley
He's a good dog. This dog is a good one.
Kate
This is Bauer. Oh, I probably need to.
Harley
No, you can have volume. You can have volume.
David
Okay.
Kate
Oh, did you do this? He said no. Are you responsible for that? Papa's love their shredded cheese.
Venmo Advertiser
Crazy.
Harley
He's like, that's crazy. Who did that?
Kate
No. I'm saying no. I would never. Are you sure? What a good he? Cute. Oh, my God.
Caleb Waver
Another one.
Kate
Did you do this? Is it all huskies?
Harley
Not our boy, though.
Kate
Is that you? Him say no.
Harley
Oh,
Kate
I want to put him in a bag of ice. Are you sure it wasn't you? He what a good. Those are good dogs. That is not what my dogs like.
Harley
My dogs instantly start attacking each other. They're like, I need all of this. You die now.
Kate
It's time for you to die.
Harley
Are you sure it wasn't you?
Kate
I think pet palette cleansers are the best after true crime. Let's make that a rule. We need to clean it up. Golden retrievers are so beautiful. Oh, my God. How many dogs. Oh, did you do that? Was that you?
Harley
Goose is still, like, just loves. People are new. So he's like, did you do that, Ghost?
David
Would you like to tell me who did that?
Harley
This is a different one, I think, actually, that I saw, but it'll be the same result.
Kate
Here we go. Was this you?
Harley
The one I saw was a. It was a different food, and he was much more aggressive. Impressive about it.
Caleb Waver
Yeah.
Harley
You can, like, hear his running around the corner, like, sliding on the ground, like, drifted around the corner. Initial D and, like, that's a follow.
Kate
Are you responsible for this mess?
Harley
And if you go to the account, there's a ton of power.
David
Good dog.
Kate
Oh, my God. He's covered.
Harley
Was it you?
Kate
Look at his tail still going. No. Oh, my God.
David
All right, this one, the last one I sent is not dog related, but it's still funny.
Kate
Okay, wait. I want to see him attack this guy. Watch this. Help.
Venmo Advertiser
Help.
Kate
Help. They're taking me, Blue. Help, Blue. Help me, Blue.
Harley
That dog's too smart. He's like, why are you wearing, like,
Kate
what are you doing?
Harley
He's like, why are you wearing that? He's like, my dogs would freak out as, you know, spirit hoods. The furry ones with, like, hats. Like, the, like, hipster weirdo was worn, like, 2010. I put one of those on and, like, crawl on all fours. My dogs do not see me as who I am.
Kate
Oh, my God.
Harley
They're literally like, oh, it's the biggest dog I've ever seen. Oh, they, like, get scared and I just like, I want a video. Yeah, I'll do it. I'll do it.
Kate
I love that.
David
We need that for tomorrow.
Kate
We need it.
David
Oh, yeah.
Kate
You guys need to figure out what's going on tomorrow because I am not here tomorrow. So you guys need to figure out what. What you're gonna do for tomorrow.
Harley
David's gone.
Kate
You gotta help me.
Harley
Just like you tune in to see other shows doing. Playing Call of Duty.
Kate
Listen, Help me.
David
I'm done down here.
Harley
Imagine.
David
That'd be crazy. That'd be crazy if we did that. That'd be so crazy if we did that.
Venmo Advertiser
Chat.
David
That would be crazy, right? We just play Call of Duty for two hours.
Kate
No, you gotta play Everest. So Ethan actually lets you Suddenly. We love EverQuest here. Nope. They are. They are too. Oh, I like that pool. No.
Caleb Waver
Oh.
Harley
Maverick.
Venmo Advertiser
Help.
Kate
M. Help. Help.
Harley
This guy's got too many dogs. I know. Get to Bow.
David
I love. I love the dog.
Harley
You can't fast forward this.
Kate
Help me.
Venmo Advertiser
Help. Come on.
Kate
Help.
Caleb Waver
Help.
Kate
No, he just wants to play.
Harley
He's just playing. He doesn't even see the alien thing.
Kate
Yeah, no, he just sees you. Oh, help me, Goose. Help.
Venmo Advertiser
Who's Goose?
Kate
Got me the baby. Look how leggy he is.
Caleb Waver
So cute.
Kate
He's like. This is a giant chew toy.
David
I just want to see him get up by Bauer.
Caleb Waver
I know.
Kate
I want G. Bower to shred him.
David
It better be.
Venmo Advertiser
Thank God.
Kate
Immediately, immediately.
Harley
D When I see dogs like this, by the way, I. I get them so hyped up.
Kate
Look, he's already breaking it. See? Bow might steal all your food, but he's save you. He's going to save you.
Harley
So he's going to eat. He's going to that out. I know these dogs, they eat like socks. They'll eat a whole sock and it out.
Caleb Waver
Yeah.
Kate
This is Chief.
David
This is Chief right here.
Kate
Some dogs are just special.
Harley
The most beautiful dog in the world.
Kate
So beautiful and so sweet.
Harley
And so you have to choke them out sometimes.
Kate
So cute. I think I have a picture, a video of you not choking him out, but you're playing them like the bongos.
David
Oh, I love slapping a. I love slapping a dog belly.
Kate
Right?
Harley
He's a good slappable dog belly.
Caleb Waver
He is.
Kate
Yeah, he loves it. All right. So this is Saikuno.
David
Yeah.
Kate
AI helps me negotiate the price of corn. Okay, corn seller that sells corn and I'm really shy, so could you please negotiate for me? I'm trying to buy one for only a dollar.
David
The video is frozen.
Harley
I'll definitely try.
Kate
It's frozen.
David
It was like.
Harley
What? It was working for me.
Kate
Oh, weird.
David
Now it's working.
Kate
Oh, but okay, corn and I'm really shy, so could you please negotiate for me? I'm trying to buy one for only a dollar.
Harley
I'll definitely try my best.
Kate
Oh God.
Harley
Let me talk to them.
Kate
Hey, it's me, the corn seller.
Venmo Advertiser
Hey.
Harley
So I was looking to buy one of your delicious corns.
Kate
Corns.
David
How much do you sell one for corns?
Kate
Well, today you can buy one for only $10,000.
Venmo Advertiser
Oh. Oh my.
Harley
That is quite a bit for corn. I was looking to buy one for a dollar.
Kate
Oh my.
Harley
What is that?
Caleb Waver
$.
Kate
Okay, well, how about this?
David
Looks like Google.
Kate
I could sell you one for only 7, 500.
Caleb Waver
Good.
Venmo Advertiser
Goodness.
Kate
Why did it do that? What did they.
Harley
How did they do that? What did they run it? That's so crazy.
Kate
Yeah.
Harley
Must be some good ass corn.
Kate
Pull that. Damage good ass corn and pull that. They're also plant based, but I'm feeling generous. They're plant based. I can give you one today for $5,000.
Harley
I really appreciate you for being flexible, but unfortunately it's still way out of my budget. Surely you can go lower than that.
Kate
All right, how about this? Final offer. Final offer. $500.
Harley
Amazing. Thank you so much for that. I will gladly buy one of your corns for a measly $500.
Kate
Excellent, bro.
David
Don't know corn prices.
Kate
Thank you for your business. I will hand you back to your friend. I will buy your.
Harley
All right.
Kate
Hey, it's me again. How'd it go?
Harley
Good news. I was able to get you the coins. Corn for just $500. What a.
Kate
So you're telling Me? You bought a singular. You bought acorn for five. Acorn is so funny.
Harley
They said they're plant based.
Kate
Hey, I want this.
Caleb Waver
That is so good.
Harley
What an idiot. What a loser. Idiot.
Kate
Those were good palate cleansers.
Harley
Go cure cancer, Dumbass. Get off the phone.
Kate
Go cure cancer.
David
Stop.
Harley
Stop writing music and stop making my thumbnails. Go, go, go. Go cure something, dude.
David
Yeah. Stop harassing corn sellers.
Kate
Yeah. Well, do we have more soupies to read?
David
We have a few more.
Kate
I can. I can wrap.
David
Yeah, blast through them real quick.
Kate
Blow those soupies. David.
David
Yo, yo, yo. Hugh, Jeff and Cock. Shout out said unrelated. Oh, what's up?
Kate
Oh, who was that? Ab.
David
That was AB Unrelated.
Harley
But I wanted sham Batty.
David
It was your Shambala baddy.
Harley
Nice.
Kate
Do you miss him?
Venmo Advertiser
Yeah.
Harley
He must be so miserable without me.
Kate
Probably. Hey, girl.
Harley
What up, dude? How you been?
Kate
Oh, he's building things.
David
I will say he was in a. He was in a quick walk out and you said Shambala Batty. And he stopped in his tracks and turned around. Shout out.
Harley
Didn't f. Still shout out. I didn't him though.
David
I don't know. The more you see.
Kate
What are you guys going to do tomorrow?
Caleb Waver
Question.
Harley
Tomorrow?
Kate
Yeah, what are you guys going to do?
David
We're going to play Call of Duty. We said.
Kate
Okay, sick. Continue.
David
We're going to do the origins Easter egg on Call of duty. Black Ops 2 zombies, whatever the that is.
Harley
Yes, good.
Venmo Advertiser
Yeah.
Kate
Okay, cool.
Harley
We're gonna start. We're gonna build the office in Minecraft.
Kate
Oh, I like that.
David
Yep. Anyway, shout out to Hugh Jeffencock who said unrelated. But I wanted to request coverage of Wallace Sousa, presenter of the crime show Canal Livera in Brazil, who allegedly orchestrated violent crimes to exclusive get footage of them to boost his ratings. That's crazy.
Kate
Oh, that's crazy. That is crazy.
Harley
Gotta look into that.
Kate
Yeah. Wallace Souza.
David
Yeah. Thank you, Brook. Said. Harley, Kate, it's my 29th birthday today. Can I get a happy birthday and some wisdom from my last year of my twenties? Thank you for everything getting. Thank you everything getting head for life.
Kate
Do you guys even happy birthday?
David
The Last year your 20s was so long ago. Do you guys still remember
Kate
David?
Harley
Fuck you, David.
Kate
Fuck you, David.
Harley
Fuck you, David.
Kate
I will give you advice. First of all, happy birthday.
Harley
Well, happy birthday. We'll give you advice. David can. He lacks the wisdom.
Kate
He lacks the wisdom to help you. I will tell you what my mom told me and it's that you do not have to have everything figured out by the end of your 20s. I think a lot of people feel like they need to and they rush to hit arbitrary deadlines and if they don't, they feel bad about themselves. But my mom told me that your 20s to her are called your try on 20s. We're trying different things on trying to figure out what you like, what you don't like, who you like, who you don't like. So don't feel pressure to have your whole life figured out by 30 because guess what? 30 is gonna just turn your life upside down. It's just what happens. That's just what happens. So enjoy being in your 20s and then in your 30s you'll really start building and figuring yourself out. So there you go. That's my advice. Shout out Harley, any advice?
Harley
Same.
David
And get an old.
Harley
You're gonna be old soon. Yeah, you'll be old and then once you are old, you'll be the youngest old. And being the youngest old is quite enjoyable. See, David is the oldest young right now.
Kate
Terrible.
Venmo Advertiser
Yeah.
David
I was called sir for the first time a few months ago by like a teenager and I was like it
Kate
happens to us all.
Harley
Did you get him back with like a broski? So he knew you were young and chill?
David
Yeah, I was like get out of here whippersnapper.
Kate
Like yo skibidi something. I know.
Caleb Waver
Thanks
Kate
David. Did you get your 40x tickets? Did you get your 40x tickets to Cocomelon yet?
David
No, I do not want to be sprayed and assaulted by babies.
Kate
Spray some wild.
David
I will say though if there is a 40x coca melon experience we all have to go to that cuz that yes deal that low key sounds like it's insane.
Harley
I was going anyways.
Kate
I'm sure they will have it. Kids would love that. They'll all get shaken baby syndrome by the end of it though.
David
Anyway, shout out Danny Fl who said I'm five days post Tony and would love to get a. Get a well shout out. This is painful as for 35 but making it through through with hydrocode Hydrocodone. Love you.
Harley
Yep.
Kate
Be careful with those.
Harley
Yeah. And yeah. Get well soon hard parts over. Yeah, gotta you know the only way out is through. You got it baby.
Kate
You got more room back there now for activities so. We're so helpful. I like that game. That was fun.
David
We had a couple people donating about their experiences with restraining orders. Slam dance said even with the restraining order, my stalker found ways to harass me by posting my personal information on adult websites while I was pregnant saying I'm down to that's ew
Kate
what's wrong with people? I'm so sorry that happened. Him.
Venmo Advertiser
Papa.
David
Molly also said I tried getting a restraining order because my ex kept breaking in and stealing things. And the one time I caught him, he got away before the cops got there. And they said someone could have let him in.
Kate
That doesn't mean why.
Harley
Yeah, yeah, but they still committed. That's the discretion where they just have control.
Kate
Yeah, they just don't want to do their job.
David
So someone let them in and then he still stole things. So what about that part?
Kate
Yeah, someone would not say that about their own. Like if. If that cop's own home was broken into. They wouldn't say that. Like that's right. That's the issue.
David
It's like this murder happens. Like, but what if someone let them in to do the murder?
Kate
Dumb, dumbass, dumb. It's not like a vampire.
David
Said, can we cold scroll through David's reels and hit the button? If things go crazy, we'd be always hitting the button.
Kate
That's a good Russian roulette game for us to play.
David
Yeah. And the only losers is the audience because they can't see what happened.
Kate
Russian roulette.
Harley
Hey, we're doing it.
Kate
Yeah, do that. I like that.
David
Shout out. We're doing that tomorrow.
Kate
I like that. I with that.
David
Fenis Punji said. Highly recommend every 90 seconds. Are common cause Ending violence against women by Anne P. Deprince. It explores how society can stop violence against women. Wonderful eye openening read.
Kate
I have an idea.
David
Oh, I get it.
Kate
I have an idea of how to stop violence against women.
David
Boogity said. In Ontario, passports are not taken by cops despite flight risks. The accused have to take it to the station. This is how my my what? Artist fled the country and skipped prison. He's been free for four years now.
Kate
Oh my God.
David
That's crazy.
Kate
Yeah, that is awful. Him?
David
Yeah, him. Shout out. Mystic King. Who said I'm 22 and I needed to hear that Fire. Thanks, Kate.
Kate
Oh good. Yeah.
Caleb Waver
Dude.
Kate
I really thought like I need to be married and have kids and everything by the time I am 30. And because of that I married the wrong person because I was just trying to hit all the checkpoints. Don't do that. Marry the right person. It doesn't matter when it happens. Which I did for the second time. Shout out.
David
And that's all. I think that's a good place to end.
Kate
That's a beautiful place to end. Well everybody, like I said, I won't be here tomorrow. So have fun boys. I'm sure it'll be a great time. Whatever it ends up being, I will definitely catch it afterwards.
David
Ultra Blow Off Live.
Kate
Ultra Blow Off. I love that idea. Yeah. Have a wonderful evening, everybody. Yep.
Harley
Everyone, thanks for hanging out.
Kate
Yeah.
Harley
Hit the thumbs up button on the way out.
Kate
Yeah. Make sure you like the stream. Oh, thank you. I look so good with my tank top and teddy glow. Thank you so much. Yeah, Go get those. Look at. I look tan from them.
Harley
Yeah.
Kate
Go get you some. Go get you some. Run. All right, we'll see. I will see you Friday. The boys will see you tomorrow. Have a good night, everybody. Bye.
Caleb Waver
Bye.
Kate
Thank.
Venmo Advertiser
You.
Sara Gilson: TikToker Murdered After Accusing Husband of CSA
Date: August 11, 2026
Hosts: Ethan Klein (absent), featured hosts: Kate, Harley, David
This episode of H3 After Dark takes a deep dive into the tragic murder-suicide of TikTok influencer Sara Gilson (Duffy), who was killed by her husband, Sean Duffy, after she accused him of child sexual abuse (CSA). The hosts dissect the timeline of events, examine abuse dynamics, discuss failures of protective interventions and gun laws, and explore the broader implications for domestic violence survivors. The show also features an extended update on a missing festivalgoer, listener engagement, and palate cleansers to balance the heavy subject matter.
The episode first revisits the case of Caleb Waver, a festival attendee who went missing and has since resurfaced. The hosts discuss her survival, social media reaction, and mental health aftermath.
On CSA & sports coaching:
On restraining orders and the system’s failures:
On survivor advice & mental health:
On the tragedy’s cascading impact:
This episode is a challenging listen: a necessary, unflinching analysis of domestic violence, child abuse, and the persistent failures of legal and social systems to protect the most vulnerable—delivered in the H3 Podcast's blunt, sometimes profane, and always critical voice. The closing tone is one of grief, solidarity with survivors, and a call for meaningful reform.
