Okay. And that's crazy to say, but I looked at your catalog of episodes, and I think there's a part of love, dating, and relationships that you're not touching on, and it's the other people in the room. And I'm currently in a part of my life where I'm the other people in the room.

Got it. So you're not actively trying to date as much, you're trying to actively help other people date.

Just very like. I remember working at a restaurant, I walked by a kid on a tablet, and he was just watching a woman do laundry. And I was like, could be anything.

Yes. And I brag. Not a lot lot about a lot of things. I can brag about being an incredible, like, plus one to a wedding. I'm incredible at it. Being a. A wing woman to a friend, that's like trying to get somebody. I have a couple great. Just great facts and stories. I think if I had to add up my stats, I think 90% of my wing womaning has landed with someone getting what they wanted. Wow.

Well, that is good that you're already bringing that up because our fans immediately wanted to hold your feet to the fire.

Yeah.

And they were. Give us one successful wing womaning story that you have. Like, what's your best one? Where did you have the most success?

Okay. I might have already said this on a podcast before, and that's.

Perfect. That's the kind of audience I love. I did something once that my best friend and I still talk about where she had a crush on a man and we were going to see. See his band play somewhere.

Oh, boy.

Yeah. And that's like, that's an interesting wing woman. Right. Because she doesn't want to sit in the crowd by herself. But then after, she kind of just wants to talk to him. Right. So I can't be in the way too much. But then I have to be actively available.

Yeah. So I. I can't look like, like dead weight. I'm kind of riding single rider. Right on the. On the Disneyland.

[Jordan Myrick]

You guys are in the line together, but then once it comes to getting on the ride, you're on your own.

[Angela Giritana]

Exactly. Like, if she wants to enjoy the ride alone, I am not with you, but I am still there. Just in case you need something.

I'm in the theme park when you get off.

[Angela Giritana]

Yeah. Literally.

So she had a very. That was the situation. And he was kind of a mess. And from the jump it looked like he liked her but wasn't going to make any move to talk to her.

[Kendall Landriff]

Having straight girlfriends is so hard. And I will say specifically about this as a lesbian, never have been on a date with a woman or been seeing a woman who's ever asked me to see her band live. Every straight woman I know is like, I'm seeing this guy and he's performing with his band. And I always, I've asked multiple times what does he play? And she's like, what? Doesn't really play anything. But he's in it. He's playing the drums. I'm like, what is that? Well, but people, they're so confident. They say I can be in a band.

[Angela Giritana]

100. And this story I think is her second to last guy she ever dated. Cuz she's done with men now and now she just dates women. And I was like, yeah. Cuz this was, this was one of those times where you're like, oh man, wow. We are really just here to see this band and this isn't good. And he is not nice, man. So we. There was a moment I remembered I was really talented at. This was when we do the, the hang after and we're kind of navigating backstage. Yeah, no, no, we're at the bar. It was like a show at a bar.

[Jordan Myrick]

Got it.

[Angela Giritana]

And we kind of. It would have been cool to go backstage. No, it was like kind of just like we're going to now drink. Everyone was watching the show and all of his friends were there and it was just kind of us and his friends and the band and his friends knew the band. So it was very obvious. We were kind of like sticking out. So immediately.

[Kendall Landriff]

But she came as a date. Like they'd been seeing each other kinda, but he wasn't really giving her a ton of attention.

[Angela Giritana]

He was like, come see how my band. I don't think they had made like the. Done the full. Like we're really seeing each other yet. It was kind of like a hookup situation.

[Jordan Myrick]

So they had hooked up.

[Angela Giritana]

I think so. I remember them getting like pretty far into it, but nothing, nothing. Like I don't. I remember them just like she, she has a fat crush on him and that's what we got. Right. And I remember there being a lot of girls who surrounded this boy and I took them out.

[Jordan Myrick]

Oh, physically, okay.

[Angela Giritana]

What I did. Physically I just. Okay. So one I Will never forget this one moment. She was sitting down, right? And then there was an empty space. And I was sitting across from them, and this girl sits right next to him, Right. And I was like, that's a spot for my friend. My friend's supposed to sit there. And I talked to this girl, and somehow I got her to physically get up and come to me. Wow. Because I went. Because I just. She was.

[Kendall Landriff]

We're each other.

[Angela Giritana]

I was like, oh, my God, Where'd you get your shirt? And she was like, Forever 21. I stole it. And for some reason, this was in my. Yes. Ending people that I shouldn't. Yes. And phase. I went, I steal my clothes too.

[Jordan Myrick]

Do you?

[Angela Giritana]

She goes, no. She goes, no way at all. Get up here right now. Get up here right now. Let me see the back of this blouse. For some reason, I was like, I need to see the full thing. She gets up, she turns, and I go, oh, my God. And I was like, let's. I, like, move her over. I literally moved her. And when I moved her over and then my friend took that and sat right down.

[Kendall Landriff]

Yeah.

[Angela Giritana]

I was like, whoa. It was like that movie. That scene in those movies where they look at their powers in the mirror and they're like, wow.

[Kendall Landriff]

Yeah.

[Jordan Myrick]

But did you feel guilty? Because that other girl seems nice.

[Angela Giritana]

I was hired for a job.

[Jordan Myrick]

Okay.

[Kendall Landriff]

Right.

[Jordan Myrick]

You're just like, no remorse because you can't think about it. You just gotta get in and get out and do what you have to do.

[Kendall Landriff]

But did you also feel bad that now your friend is maybe gonna see this guy who kind of sucks?

[Angela Giritana]

Well, at the time, we were like, 23, so I should have mentioned that at. At the jump. Is that we are both blind in so many ways. Like, why was I saying, like, I steal clothes too, just to make a friend.

[Jordan Myrick]

Yeah.

[Angela Giritana]

Not the way to do it, but I got her up, and then I remember they made out that night.

[Kendall Landriff]

Oh, wow. So that's amazing. That's a true wing woman.

[Angela Giritana]

So if they want my feet to the fire, I got stuff.

Wow. I want to know, have you ever helped get any couples together that people may know publicly?

[Angela Giritana]

I don't think you guys might know them. Do you guys know Connor McCabe?

Yeah.

I had found out. It was like, after show, we all went to 4100, and my. And I had found out one of My dear family members died, and I got absolutely wasted. And then I was with the both of them, and I don't know why.

[Kendall Landriff]

They just bonded over being like, this is so awkward.

[Angela Giritana]

I remember just being like it all. And then I remember looking at them being like, you guys are always around, and you both always offer me water. You guys should hang. And then I remember talking to her on the side and then talking to him on the side that night. It was like. It was like my last night alive is what it felt like.

[Jordan Myrick]

They've been together for years and are deeply in love.

[Angela Giritana]

Yeah. And. Yeah.

[Jordan Myrick]

Wow. They're. Well, Connor is from up near where Kendall's from.

[Angela Giritana]

Okay.

[Jordan Myrick]

So we ran into them at the airport recently. We were all on the same flight.

[Angela Giritana]

Oh. Because they go on trips with families all the time.

They. With families.

[Jordan Myrick]

Their families.

[Angela Giritana]

And I think if I wing woman in the early dating stages, I should be able to wing woman in the fun. We're going into Hawaii all expenses paid. Because why is she there?

[Jordan Myrick]

I agree. Why she agree?

[Kendall Landriff]

Well, she wouldn't be there if it wasn't for you.

So you think you and Connor should go, and then Amanda is not invited on her.

[Angela Giritana]

No, I think me and Amanda should go, and Connor's parents should pay for it.

[Jordan Myrick]

Okay. Yeah. No, And I agree with that.

[Kendall Landriff]

But so with them, you said, okay, you both get me water. You both care about hydration. You're both caring, empathetic. What is, like, do you. Do you look for people who would be good together? Are you always kind of thinking, oh, those two people would be good together, or are you kind of just like, I'm here to just get whoever wants to be together together? It's not my business.

[Angela Giritana]

I'd say, like, how like a. Like a baseball player. There's like. Like, they're good at, like, fields stuff. And then some are good at batting.

[Jordan Myrick]

Okay.

[Kendall Landriff]

Yeah, I understand.

[Angela Giritana]

Like, some are good at base work with the bases, and some are good with batting. I think matchmaking is a skill of mine, but it isn't my leading skill. My leading skill is going to an event, navigating that event, and. And finding the social obstacles in front of my target.

Right.

And my client.

And eliminated taking them out.

Wow. That's unbelievable. Do you feel like wing womaning helps you in your other aspects of your life, or does it really only apply to your friends romantic lives? Because what happens if and when all your friends have partners? Does the skill just die off if it's, you know, you don't Use it, you lose it.

[Angela Giritana]

No, that's true. I think. Yeah. What I'm probably good at also, like, by proxy, is just being a good plus one to event that kind of sucks. Like, when, like, you have, like, an event that's kind of like, I. I've been to weddings before with a partner when that partner's like, do you want to come? Like, and they're like, you're not going to know anybody. And then there are groomsmen. I remember is what happened with my old ex boyfriend, and I was like, yeah, I'll go. And I was so good at not being in the way. And then when he needed me, I showed up. But then I just, like, hung out with this old lady photographer the whole time. But so I wasn't, like, one of those, like, plus ones that's, like, sitting there like, yeah, where's my time?

[Kendall Landriff]

And he's not feeling like, oh, I got to go over and make sure it's okay.

[Jordan Myrick]

Yeah.

[Angela Giritana]

Yeah. So I'd say it does transfer over, especially, like, those awful, like, brand parties.

I don't. We don't go to those. And I said, no more of those. I tapped. I tapped out on those.

I will need your help, though, because we are going to a wedding in Italy later this year, so that's one.

Of those things that I can do.

Yeah, we need you to come. No, unfortunately, you can't come unless you pay for it, because we also had to pay for it.

Yeah. And I'll do that.

Yeah. You can come to Italy with us if you want to. We're going to, like, four cities. It's going to be great. Cute.

But we'd be such a good throuple.

And I'm not in the bridal party, and it's in Italy, so I think I'M gonna do a good job. You're great at that, though.

I'm small talk.

I'm good at strangers. I moved around a lot, so I think that kind of acclimatized me to being like, hello, I'm Jordan. Nice to meet you. But I'm a little nervous.

I actually can't wait for the stories till after. Cause Kendall's gonna be like, I look over, Jordan's making mozzarella in the back with the cake.

[Kendall Landriff]

That is what it'll be. Well, we had. Oh, my God, maybe this was years ago, but we had what I would say we had a party at our home that I did not enjoy because what was this? It was the 2022 cookie swap of.

[Jordan Myrick]

You're such a bitch about that from hell.

[Kendall Landriff]

So I. Jordan's like, I want to do a cookie swap. Which, first of all, a cookie swap sounds cute. But what. When in actuality, you then have. And I'm not kidding, 2,000 cookies.

[Jordan Myrick]

No. Everybody brings Tupperware and they take cookies.

[Angela Giritana]

You kind of walk away with like a assortment, but they don't do it because it's all.

[Kendall Landriff]

We live in la. So every person goes, oh, I brought it gluten free.

[Jordan Myrick]

I'm not able to eat the rest of the cookies.

[Kendall Landriff]

And then I'm stuck with 8,000 cookies. Jordan didn't buy milk. There's a whole other argument we won't even speak about. But Jordan, we invite a bullet.

I didn't know that was, like, necessary. I don't like milk with cookies, but I didn't think it was, like, necessary. And also, I'm like, we weren't doing, like, warm, chalky chips. We were doing, like, Christmas cookies.

I had a girl come up to me. And this plays in to what I'm going to say later. Didn't know who this person was. She comes up to me, her voice is raspy. She's.

I feel very overwhelmed. Is there any milk?

[Kendall Landriff]

That was the vibe of this party.

[Angela Giritana]

And you think the rasp was because she was quenching thirsty.

[Kendall Landriff]

She had 80 cookies. And she was so.

[Jordan Myrick]

She was bone dry.

[Kendall Landriff]

She was bone dry. And she was overwhelmed because it was so loud.

You were like, my wife didn't buy any milk.

[Kendall Landriff]

No milk. We live in a tiny apartment. And this gets back to Jordan's very social where it started. The guest list is, you know, oh, 10 people will have come to the cookie party over. We planned it too early. So over the course of two months, I heard Jordan, we'd be walking the dog. Jordan's talking to an old elderly woman who doesn't even live near us. She just happens to be walking by. Come to our cookie party. Come to our cookie party, everyone.

I like everybody to be included.

[Angela Giritana]

I think that's my favorite thing about you.

I never want anybody to feel left out. It was so sweet.

But I'm telling you, when this cookie party begins, everyone shows up on time. We live in a small apartment. I would say 300 people were there.

That's absolutely draining.

300 people and not one drop of milk is crazy.

My birdie said she was about to have a panic attack. Well, I have a lot to say to her at the party.

With no milk. Wasn't even worth it.

Actually, before COVID we was actually. We did this in January of 2020. Well, then, of course.

And then, of course, by the time I said, I'm putting my foot down, I'm getting some fucking milk. I said, because Jordan's been. We don't need milk. Then, like, two hours. And I said, people are dying, Jordan. We got to get milk.

People are freaking out. This is Kendall, though. So the person is like, do you have any milk? And Kendall's like, everyone. Everyone needs milk. I'm insane.

Down to a cookie party with no milk. So I wanted milk. I said, people have got it. And no one wants to say, of course people are freaking out, though. People internally are like, where's the milk? This is insane. Who would throw a cookie party? So I finally say, I don't care what you think. I'm taking my money and my wallet. I'm going to get Some milk.

I come back, same money.

[Kendall Landriff]

I come back, remind everyone, I bought, like, four things of almond milk, two things of oat milk, whole milk, 2%.

So much milk.

I bought so much milk, I'm lugging it. I had to have our roommate Charles bring it in with me because he's a little bit more buff. And we come in, and then, of course, people are, oh, I'm gonna head out. Then people start leaving, probably because there was no milk. I'm stuck with, we had gallons of milk.

But this, I think, is very indicative of us is that I'm like, we don't need milk. And Kendall's like, we need so much milk.

Yeah.

And we needed to meet in the middle anyway.

Not as beautiful. And that's learning.

I can't get over you saying she had a raspy voice. Cause she needed milk. I need some milk, please. I'm having a panic attack, and I need milk. It's Christmas time, and I'm at the worst cookie party in the world.

It was awesome. Everybody loved it, and so many people made good cookies. But there are sometimes people who are like, this is my thing. I'm like, if you can't do a good job at some kind of potluck, food swap, whatever, you need to go buy something. Yeah, you need to go buy something. Because sometimes people will show up to something like this, and they'll be like, well, I'm not really good at baking. So I stuck my foot in a pan and then put butter on it, and then you guys can suck.

That was Lorraine from the post office.

And I didn't even want to.

Yeah. So we let her do it, But. But do you know what I mean? Just, like, in general, I'm like, just please go to a patisserie and get something good if you can't cook yourself.

I was at a chill, intimate hang. I'd say about, like, 12 people. And it was like, a night where, like, we all brought something, but it wasn't labeled a potluck. But it was at dinner time.

I hate that.

And there were two individuals there that all night, I. And not to their face, but to everyone around, I go, did you see them bring anything? Because it was just two men and friends of mine, and I couldn't look them in the eye and ask them, because I'm a fucking coward. But I was stunned that they walked into an event without anything in their hands, sat down, ate everything. That was all brought communally.

Yeah, of course.

And left and didn't say, didn't to me, that is. It was like one of the craziest things to witness. I was like, like, he's just gonna eat that.

Because manners, Angela, have gone out the window. Because people are like, well, I feel like we think of manners. We're like, oh, that's all repressive society. You know, like your mom making you.

Like, I don't know, write a thank you card or something.

What's going on over here? Getting the intel and the information. Which I feel like if I had a wing woman, I'd be like, you go get the intel and you get the information. Yes. So I feel like I'm doing that and then I am. Once I have all that information, I'm seeking out. That.

It also might be maybe I hit my la cap and I've been in here for too long. And I had to go to a party the other day and I had to sign an NDA and I was like, I gotta get out of here. This is ridiculous.

Everyone sucks. I haven't met anybody that makes me laugh. I have to go home.

You're also maybe. Do you feel like you're around a lot of, like, industry people? Because I think sometimes I'm like that when you. Sometimes I'll meet like a normal person and I'm like, not a nor. You know what I mean? Like, they're like, I'm a doctor. And I'm like, well, that's cool. And then it feels like more mysterious versus, I think, like influencers and comedians and actors. No judgment, because I am that. But it feels like you know everything about them already.

After two seconds to where you're just like, it's. There's no way to have a crush on you because I see you for who you are.

Yeah. It feels like they're either very industry or if they are a doctor or something, they're like Santa Monica.

Or like they still like have a tick tock presence.

And they're also just like a different part of this city. And then it's like, I actually feel like we're like, it's a study abroad thing and I don't have. We have nothing in common. Well, you know what I think is hard?

It. Sometimes I feel like people will be like, this is what healthy love looks like. It'd be crazy to fall in love with someone after two weeks. That's not healthy. Whatever. But sometimes I do think falling in love takes a little bit of delusion where it's kind of like if you're that healthy and you're that, like, well, I don't really need anyone. And, like, of course I'm not in love with them, or I haven't pictured our wedding together. Cause I just met them, and I'm going at a really normal pace. I'm like. I think it's sometimes almost like, I don't know, within us genetically to be, like, obsessed with someone and be like, I just pictured our whole life together, even though I hardly know anything about them. Because otherwise you would just, like, never. I don't know. When I was younger, I was so good at that quote, unquote.

And we all are, because delusion's, like, easy when you're, like, a teen and you have all those hormones. And I think that's such a good point, because I also feel that way about just, like, jobs in this industry. I was like, well, okay. Well, that's awesome. I'm so glad you sold that movie. I hope I see it.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Well, I mean, not being like, oh, you suck, but just being like, this industry, everything sucks.

Everything's big. It reminds me of child actors. And when people are like, like, child. This child actor is so good. And I'm like, yeah, well, they're a child. They're just a raw nerve of emotion. Right? Like, your whole life, all you're taught is to, like, get your emotions in check and, like, whatever. And then when you go to acting school, they're like, forget all of that. You have to, like, find your emotions again. Yeah, but I'm like a child. It's like, it's easy for them to cry. It's easy for them to feel totally joy. They haven't been beaten down by the world.

[Angela Giritana]

They could feel everything on an instant. Yes, that's Kate. Honestly, there's an arc for you. My wing womaning to my friends is sometimes. I'm always like. I think they're, like, putting down. They're always looking at the, like, negative side of someone they're into or something. And I'm always like, it's never gonna work out if you do that right now. Just. Let's. Let's ignore the fact that he has five roommates. Let's just. Let's just. Here we go. Let's. Let's try this. And maybe I have to do that to myself.

Well, I've heard people talk about, like, pick three to five things that are actual deal breakers to you.

That are actually important. I've heard Kendall say that. I've heard some other people say that.

Yeah, we didn't coin that. So I don't pick three to five actual ones that really matter to you and then lose the rest.

Because people are so quick to be like, I have this list of 20 things or not even have a list, and then just meet people, and they'll be like, well, but she was, like, taller than I thought. And then also, she. I, Like, I thought she lived in a house, but she lives in an apartment.

Yeah, those.

And all these things are building up where you're just like, this doesn't matter. Versus have three to five that, like, really matter. And then with the other ones, like, be open.

Yeah, they're stuff. And also, I tell my friends that all the time. And if anything, for me, I want to be specific. I'm not picky like that.

Yeah.

You'll never hear on them. And you, like, mentioned it, and I was like, I don't want you talking about me to, like, those.

They're, like, not your. They weren't your friends. You just, like, ran into them at a party. And it, like, I've had that problem.

With a relationship where privacy is it, like. Well, not like, actual problem, but, like, being like, oh, you give information out about us quickly. More quickly than I do.

And you have to like.

And so I think we first. I think you did literally nothing wrong. I think you were just being like, it's not a big deal. Yeah. And I was being like, I don't like those people.

That, like, feels weird. Cause we had been on, like, three zoom dates. It was, like, not. We were not, like, officially dating or anything, but I liked you a lot. And then I remember being like, I hate that. And then you called me, and then I answered the phone, and I was like, I really like her. Because this thing that I'm annoyed about doesn't even really matter.

But I genuinely made that noise out of, like, being a nice. Well, I think that's something, though, that can, like, kind of give you some clarity in that. Like, something that kind of frustrated me, and I felt like was a boundary cross with someone else. I might have been more. But I was like, oh, I like her so much, and she has all the core things that I want. This one dumb instance, like, doesn't really.

Matter, but I think the speed at which you approached that is the key. Right. Like, there's something that gives you pause that is. Yeah. Like, literally done.

You got to attack it versus.

Or just being like, I'm seeing myself not, like, that behavior, but I'm analyzing it. I'm in the driver's seat to make sure I'm not, like, letting it go and just, like, pushing it and being like, I'm obsessed with this person. But I am, like, still here, right?

Right. But also, people are so nitpicky. I hear, like, so many people where they are. They get so freaked about things where sometimes I have to be like, are you even actually freaked about this, or are you just identifying this as the thing, your future? Like, I felt like we were very different. Like, we were very different. Like, when we started dating, there were things like, I don't know if I should share this, but, like, I. It's just only embarrassing to me. But I said. I said, so many nudes when we started dating.

I have such crippling medical anxiety. I just can't. I just can't have that out there. And as we had just started dating, I don't think I've met yet, but Kendall was like, can I send you nudes? Because I like doing it. And I was like, sure. Like, I. They make me nervous, so I do not want to send them, if that's okay.

And Kendall was like, yeah.

Why are so many people kind of being like, well, what about this and what about this? And it's just random stuff that you're. Or how do I. Or I'll hear a lot from people. Like, well, I'm worried they're like, in their own mind. Like, what if I'm only dating this person because of this? I hear that, like, a lot in the industry. Like, I don't argue well. And even if I remember telling a friend, they're like, well, this guy's on the show, what if I'm like, I don't think I might really like him, but what if, like, somewhere deep down, I'm, like, only really dating him because of xyz? And I'm like, but that won't sustain time, so you'll find that out eventually. But, like, stop freaking out. Totally calm down and date the person.

Oh, I have a friend that. That told me. She was like, oh, my God. If he or she or whatever is on the app and they have a mic in their hand in their pro dating profile, like, any type of stage picture, you can't. And I was like, if that was a deal breaker for me, I. That's everyone on the apps right now. Everybody's got like a here's me clowning or here's me with a mic. Like, I was like, it would just cut off. So. And that's just. Sure. I do find it a little icky, but I'm not. But I can't. I can't actually make that a roadblock.

Any of that stuff I think is hard because. But also, I don't know. I like. I like someone that needs to, like, I'm not really good at, like, posting cute pictures of myself, and my best friend is so good at being like, post that right now. Without finding themselves in a situation where the straight woman is being hit on at the end this is.

My friend's just gorgeous and very straight and was out with me in a. A fun lesbian space, and she just kept getting hit on. And I wasn't. And I was like, damn it, this is my story for that.

But, like, this is what I'll say. Don't have too much fun. I think if you're a straight. A hot straight woman trying to wing woman, your friend who's a lesbian, don't look too cute. Don't have too much fun.

Really take a backseat and make it clear that you're taking a backseat.

And I think in a lesbian space, you could actually go up to someone and be like, hey, I'm straight. My friend's gay. Just letting you know she's over there and she's got like. I think you can be that.

Oh, no, guys. Because do you feel like it's toxic when people are like, you can't look prettier than the bride at the wedding?

Well, there's. You can't help genetics. So if the bride's not attractive, but.

Think you should be different.

Okay, so I like wearing, like, gown. I think it's with exactly a train on it that you have to walk in with. That's too much.

Because when this happened to me, it wasn't this exact scenario, but it just did happen to me where I was like, wow, like, the person who we're here for is not the Getting the focus. Right. And I would be like, I walked away that night being like. I would never want my friend to feel. To, like, not dress her prettiest or her hottest. That she felt like just because I wasn't getting attention.

But this is what I'll say. I'm not saying don't dress your prettiest. Dress your eyes. I'm not saying dull yourself down.

[Angela Giritana]

Yeah.

[Jordan Myrick]

But I think sometimes straight people in queer spaces are like, oh, I want to align with the culture so they might try to, quote, unquote, dress gayer. I'm like, you don't need to do a performance if you're going to this solely for the purpose of wing womaning. Right. Like the. That's the specific scenario we're talking about. If you're wing womaning your friend. I would say, like, don't try to fit in, quote unquote, with the gay crowd, because you're not there to make friends if you're there to wing woman.

Because also, let's go back to that story of you at the concert.

[Jordan Myrick]

You were dulling yourself down.

[Kendall Landriff]

You're not dulling yourself down, but you were go. You were living that night for being a wing woman.

So you weren't living your best life that night. It's not like that was, like, your.

Ideal night, but it also wasn't a punishment for you.

No, exactly.

You were there for a purpose.

And that's where I think, like, this conversation gets into the specifics of, like, when someone is deemed the wing woman, where it's like, that night, no matter what, I was gonna go to that concert. Right. But I was asked to do that versus, like, I've been having more than this problem. I have an issue where, like, I, like, blinked my eyes and, like, all of my best friends are married, and I don't have a lot of friends to, like, go out with that aren't gonna, like, go, like. And it's.

That's.

[Angela Giritana]

I. I don't want to be like, I'm not hanging out with my friend because she's married, and I want to hang out with single people. But I was like, oh, I should be hanging out with, like, people that I go out with that I like that I can just do stuff like that with. But it's hard because, like, you love your friends and friends and good friends are hard to come by, and it sucks. Like, this person, I feel for them because you have your best friends and you want to go out with them. Right. But, like, they don't. They're not in the same spot as you right now. Like, this person isn't in. It's really hard to, like. Like, I don't know. What do you guys think? Because it's. It's hard. Like, I'm not gonna bring my friends to this because she's not gay. And I. I don't know.

[Kendall Landriff]

But I think that is. I think it just depends the night. Because it's like, if you're going to a gay bar, I think there are friends. Not that I'd be like, if they were like, can I come? I'd be like, no, I don't want you to be there. But I think I would be like, who are the friends I'd want with me at a gay bar? And then I think you can even with the married couple thing just per se. If it was Jordan and I that might even be having a married gay person there could be ideal. Because now that's what I was gonna say.

I think it has to be a married gay person. I think a married person as your wing person is ideal because it is fun for them. It's as close to dating as they will get. Yeah.

[Kendall Landriff]

They need.

See, but here's my thing. If they are deemed wing person.

Because what I'm realizing is I'll just go out with friends. Right. Because I think, like, when. Like, when I was younger, it just felt like we were all each other's wing person.

There has to be a plan going into it now.

And I want to be clear. What I just brought up before was not struggling because my married friends can't wing person me. It's that going out with them looks different because everyone is going home to watch an episode of something with their partner versus I'm like, let's get another round, girls. Let's go over there. And we all just actually want to go home. And that's the difference that I'm talking about, I think, like, being specific and asking your friend, like, will you kind of come with me to this event and make me feel like I'm the prettiest person in the room so I can put myself out there? It's not a bad ask for a bestie.

[Jordan Myrick]

No, no, not at all. It should be a fun ask.

[Kendall Landriff]

Fun ask, exactly. I think it's just like, in general, in all of this, just being more like, this is what I want from you, because I feel like you would do so much for all of these people, but then accepting in return, you're kind of like, oh, but that's a lot. That's a huge ask. Like, having your friend, like, not beat to the gods to go to a lesbian bar is, like, not that crazy of an ass.

I mean, yes, 100%. This person wants to know, what is the best way to let your friend know if you think the person they're talking to is actually a bad idea?

And I was like, yeah, well, now that we've. Now that we're talking about it, we have to.

So it's. I mean, no matter what, when your friend is dating somebody you don't really like, that's just always rough. Are you guys good at. I feel like you're good at call.

Yeah. Well, this is.

I really believe in minding your business. I think it, you know, unless someone is actively bad. Actively detrimental.

Abusive. Causing harm to this person's life. I think you just kind of have to mind your own business.

I know. And it's almost easier when they're awful.

Yeah. Because then you can just think they're awful. Stop talking to them.

But we have plenty of friends that are dating people that I don't love, and I'm just like, well, I'm not dating them.

Because I think. Think as relationship experts as Kendall and I are.

A lot of people writing in, we see a lot of stuff where people really let their friends and their family dictate what their relationship should look like. And they'll never be happy. And your friends and your family will know you to a certain extent.

Yeah.

But they can never know you truly. And they can never know your relationship inside and out. And I think sometimes people forget this is a huge thing. Your friends and family love and want the best for you. You might not want or deserve the best.

Yeah.

Do you know what I mean? I think you're going to date someone typically who is suited for you.

[Angela Giritana]

Yeah.

[Jordan Myrick]

And I think, like, when you see someone who is kind of boring, let's say no shame. But they're just kind of boring.

Yeah.

[Jordan Myrick]

There may be a home body. They don't like to do that much. They're not very social. They kind of. You know what I mean? Like, that's totally fine.

[Angela Giritana]

Yeah.

But I think sometimes those people's friends and family can be like, you need to meet someone magical. You need to meet, you know, whatever. And it's like, that person doesn't want to date.

[Kendall Landriff]

Right.

Your friend or family member, and they shouldn't. Like, your family member should date someone who's also a homebody. If your friend is, like, not. And your friends and family will not know whether or not you're a good partner for the most part. If you are not a good partner, if you're a liar or a cheater or you don't have time in your schedule or whatever it is, like, those are the kind of people you're going to sync up with. And then your friends and family are going to be like, well, they're bad. They're bad, they're bad. And I'm like, I hate to break it to you. The person you love is also kind of bad.

Yeah.

So that's what I think.

I'm like, you have to temper your expectations for, like, certain people are going to date certain kind of people and are going to work with certain type people that might not be what you want. That's fine. I don't want to date anyone other than Kendall. So my piece of advice for everyone would be be to date Kendall. If I was going just based off of what I think is good. You know what I mean?

I think it's so easy to, like, villainize someone that you love's partner. And it's like, they're just also dating a person and trying their best. And I know. I appreciate, like, I hate when people. And because we're on the Internet, we get a lot of little comments on our relationship, and I'm kind of like, I don't want. Also, I don't want that, especially from people in my life. I would appreciate, like, understanding that you're not dating either one of us. So, like, the way we've deemed what feels good to us is going to be different than what feels good to you.

Yes.

Or, like, maybe you wouldn't want to date someone like me because it would irritate you, but it doesn't irritate Jordan. Well, actually, it does irritate Jordan. They get over it. So I think just, like, giving people grace, too, because also, it's like a long. A relationship's a long time.

And just like, I remember when I was little, I used to have these, like, insanely massive salami sandwiches at lunch. These kids would make fun of me and say, that looks disgusting because they didn't know what good salami looked like.
