Thanks again for taking the time out of your day to meet with me and just share all about your experience going through this program. And before we dive into all of that, I really just want to start by giving you the opportunity to introduce yourself, tell our listeners a little bit about what season of life you're in, what lights you up, all of those good things first.
B
Yeah, sure. So I am 45, so mid-40s and I'm a wife. My husband, I've been married over 20 years and then we have two, if I say so myself, awesome children. We have a 13 year old daughter and then a 16 year old son and then we have an elderly, he's an 18 year old Italian Greyhound. We live in the southwest and man, yeah, like outside the home. So I really kind of, I super blessed. I do a lot of volunteer work and you know, but aside from kind of home duties, I do kind of just different leadership with various volunteer groups around the city. And kind of an interesting thing too is we love travel. My kids are big in sports, but we are all big travel people. We lived overseas for over 10 years in kind of different spots. So we still have kind of a bug for getting around.
A
So that is awesome. And I'm sure it adds an extra layer of planning that's required for your wardrobe when you've got to be ready to travel and have all the different things that you need for those amazing trips with your family. So Katie, tell me what, what initially drew you to her style collective? How did you find out about the program? And then of course, what made you decide to jump in when you did?
B
Well, man, I so I love podcasts. So I listened to Apple podcast and you were one of the ones that it recommended when I was kind of digging around for something fun to listen to because I've always loved style. And so I thought, oh, I'll give it a, give it a go. And so I started to listen and loved it, loved all your material and stuff. And of course that led to me you had one of, one of your wonderful three, three day like free classes that you did in the fall. And so I thought, I'll make time, I'll do it. And so I even got to do the recordings and it just intrigued me. So from there it even led me to kind of dig deeper and really want to jump in full, fully into your collective. And really the thing that, as I think about it, that really kind of helped me teeter into it was I honestly, I listened to your podcast interviews a couple of times and I loved hearing these everyday ladies who maybe were even in a different season than me, maybe didn't still have kids at home or, you know, were single or whatnot, how they each got something different from the collective and just how it just changed everything for them. And so that really intrigued me to the point where I kind of just stepped over and thought, I'm going to give this a chance. And I am so glad I did. They were Right on.
A
Well, how fun for you to come full circle now and to be one of those ladies sharing your own story on the podcast. I wonder if you saw yourself here at that point when you decided to take the leap before you jumped in. Obviously you love style and you found the podcast, but what was it like for you getting dressed before the program? What maybe felt frustrating or what wasn't quite right? What had you feel like you needed a little bit more of that hands on support?
B
That's a good question. So, yeah, so I think for me, like, like I said, you know, love clothes, love shopping, have always loved style, but I really, when I'd opened my closet, it wasn't. It kind of honestly brought a lot of noise, was kind of the way that I could describe it best. There were pieces that I'd bought. You know, I kind of a big habit of buying things on sale or just things that I loved or looked pretty. So it just felt super noisy in there. There were a lot of beautiful things and I kind of was in that category of having way too much, but honestly, feeling kind of areas of regret when you look at a piece, it was like, why are these, you know, having feelings kind of attached to them? And so it really was very off balanced. Also, I felt like I, you know, love, like I said, love shopping. So I just didn't have kind of the knowledge and honestly the practice and getting to build habits. Like I've gotten through the collective to not just focus on star pieces, thinking that that's going to be what pulls everything together and that's what I should always be buying. But it was an off balance of having, you know, too many star pieces and not enough even just basics. I just didn't appreciate those basics, like good socks or really good quality pajamas. And so I knew I needed to kind of get a better balance and then really kind of get those weeds out because it was kind of, like I said, just too much.
A
You are a girl after my own heart, wanting to just buy all the pretty things and not thinking so thoroughly about how it all works together and making sure that you have even the everyday basics covered. I mean, up until now, right. We are both now transformed in the way that we think about shopping and getting dressed. And I know, like me, you're also a busy mom. Right. You talked about having kids that are involved in a lot of activities and you guys travel a lot. So tell me a little bit about how you were able to move through the program in a way that worked for your lifestyle.
B
Sure. So, yeah. So I, you know, I knew that, okay, I could. I could take these lessons, and you do a great job because you provide all the information. And it was like, hey, here's kind of a suggested route to go through the lessons. And so for me, like, I know my busiest days are kind of Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. So I literally scheduled, like, my Monday day and then really my Friday, because my week, every week, I take Friday off. I have just the. I guess, really fortunate to be able to do that because that's kind of my day where even though I'm, like, extroverted, my little introvert side can be home and do something that's a little bit more refreshing and restful. And that's what this became was. This was just something I looked forward to, getting to take notes and dig into the lessons and really just explore Pinterest on a. In a whole new way and kind of just take my time. So I just blocked off sometimes Monday and Friday, but definitely Friday, where I just thought, okay, I'll do, you know, two hours. And sometimes I was really into it, so I take three. And so, you know, I really enjoyed having that time set aside for myself in a new way to just kind of feel refreshed and learn and kind of have no interruptions. So it worked really well because my kids were at school, my husband was at work, and it was kind of like, you know how I'd make a dentist appointment? Like, okay, but a lot more fun.
A
But I got. I hope so.
B
Yes. So it was good? Oh, yeah.
A
Oh, I think that's perfect. And that's exactly what I advise as you're getting started, is to make those kind of secret appointments for yourself to make sure that you have the accountability there, that it's built into your schedule. You know, when you're going to set time aside to tackle it, and then when you can just sort of unplug and go about with everything else. And even if you don't have three hours in a week, I think you can really get it done in so much less time. But like you were saying, sometimes it's just fun and maybe you'll go down a few rabbit holes and enjoy playing a little bit more than you expected. If you have the time, you can definitely dive deeper if you want to. And I would love to know, too, if there were any specific, specific lessons or exercises or kind of aha moments that hit you throughout the training portion of things that really helped it all click for you.
B
Oh, well, I, I honestly, I think every single lesson, you know, a lot of These things, even being someone that loves style, love shopping and things, there were something new kind of new dimensions of each area that really resonated just from, like, you know, the practicality of, like, measuring my face and figuring out what prints work for you to contrast. You know, you teach such a great job. Obvious and all these things, but really on going deeper on color and just, you know, psychology of color, what works great with. Because we get that wonderful color palette. And so clicking for me, within the color palette was just how I could use it. From things, you know, like socks to hair ties to makeup. You know, how it wasn't just for tops and bottoms and really exploring and getting creative with it has been super fun. And. And then also just the huge. I'd say if I had to pinpoint one that was the biggest, which I posted about this, I know you'll remember was, you know, we do. You do a great job teaching us through Pinterest, which I had done, you know, recipes on there. I had done other things. But this whole new world of it is once you train it, what you're looking for. And it really just helps you kind of wet your palette and get inspiration not to obviously, like, you talk about carbon copy it, but take it and apply it. And so for me, you know, I. After taking your quiz and working through these things, like, I, you know, I'm a natural. I'm natural. And then I also have, you know, hints of feminine and then also classic. And so kind of of what does that look like in a blend for me, you know, individually? And so I had pinned some outfits first on that mood board. And. And that was really fun to kind of just play around and get to play as an adult, right? And, like, pin all these fun outfits with no commitment and see kind of just what patterns were with that. So the big click was I was looking at that, and then I was working through my closet audit, which is, you know, as, you know, you guys were so encouraging because I thought, oh, my gosh, I have a lot. This is. Feels like it'll take forever. And such good advice, you know, y', all, you and the rest of the collective ladies were like, take your time. You know, pick up, do what works for you. Kind of like when you go through lessons, you know, pick a category, maybe just do shoes. And so I would do that. And it really did get done so much quicker than I thought. And it was absolutely worth it, like, y' all promised, because to have everything in one place and especially that you guys could have access to to help So I was working through that closet audit, so to see my stuff on my Pinterest boards with all my closet clothing, and then. And then to compare that to my mood board, the giant click was I saw that I actually already had clothes that would make one of the outfits. And so I thought, oh, my gosh, I have light colored jeans. I have, you know, a beautiful flannel that's green and blue. I have, you know, this kind of a sweater that I had just never, like, unbuttoned. I always wore it buttoned, you know, a cardigan. And so when I put those together with these loafers I had that y' all had suggested, it was. It was exactly what I loved about the outfit and, like, the natural kind of classic flow that they had. But it was even. It was so cool because I didn't have to buy anything. Like, I made an outfit I would have never put together, and it was something that I already knew I loved, and I already had it. So that kind of propelled me into having fun, you know, and even stepping outside Pinterest to kind of saying, well, what do I like about this? Like, you say, you know, what do I. What do I love about this? What is it the color? Is it the style? Like, what is it about this that I want to keep taking forward? So it was that. So that was. The huge click was just kind of making pin. The. The mood board items start to come alive and then moving beyond them even.
A
Oh, my gosh, that is so fun. And it's amazing for me to see that little bug that you ladies get when you're like, oh, my gosh, wait, I can make so many more outfits than I realized. And then it's like, okay, now I feel like a challenge. Like, what else can I do? And you get so inspired and excited about that. And it's always a beautiful thing when you need to buy less than you thought coming into the program because you realize how much more you really do have to work with, even if someone in without the robust assortment of options like you had. It's amazing when you start looking at things in a whole new way, what can really come from that? And I think people probably got a taste of that if they were at our Shop your closet challenge that we had earlier this year. It's just so nice to have some of those prompts and the style mood board and all of the pieces really falling together so that you can start to create even more outfits and. And to do it strategically in a way that really flatters you and highlights your Personal style type as you discovered. And to continue on that topic of outfits, Katie, you did the coolest thing and just sort of on your own, I think you started posting your weekly outfit roundups in the group. And of course we have women posting outfits in there all the time. But you were like, every week I'm going to batch my outfits, post it, get the feedback. What made you decide to start sharing those and then tell me how it helped you through? I would say probably the latter half of your time in the program, right?
B
Yes. Yes. Oh, well, that was so cool. So, you know, you know, I kind of was quieter in the beginning because I was kind of digging into the material. You know, I'm learning, I'm taking notes, you know, doing measurements. I'm kind of, you know, the closet audit, going through things because, you know, like anything that's worth it, right? It takes some time. But it's because we want this to be, I mean, I wanted this to be a permanent change, right? I don't, I don't want to go back. So it's kind of that habit building plus using what I had for knowledge. And then I'd post here and there and then I kind of just honestly, I challenged myself. I thought, okay, I have about four or five weeks left. I am going to just take, you know, take 30 seconds each morning, take a quick pic and then post them all on Fridays. And that it was honestly such a sweet highlight of my week because I looked forward to it because everyone is so encouraging there. I knew I was going to get even encouraging plus professional opinion from you because you always did such a great job commenting on every outfit. And your team, you know, they would say, hey, you know, they give sweet suggestions that I wouldn't have thought of. So I got over abundant what I thought, like, I got fresh eyes on it, I got encouragement. People are so kind. And then, you know, it's just kind of right, someone looking at it and saying, hey, like you look great when you wear a shirt tucked with the belt. And I thought I was so anti belt before this and now I love belts. I under. I. I'm sorry, belts. I love belts now. And then it really just boosted my confidence because, you know, I knew I was going to have to post. So I thought I'm going to, you know, take an extra literally, like minute or two to try on two different earrings and just see which one really sets it and to just kind of take that intentionality. I'd been learning and just having, you know, the rubber meet the road with it so. And I just loved. Yeah, those intentional responses people gave, I loved. Even just as the, the days and weeks went on, I kind of started to challenge myself. I thought, I'll throw this outfit on because I love this skirt, but I have no clue what to wear it with and I'll just see what suggestions I get. And then even just taking the, the things learned, like contrast, I thought, okay, I'm trying to understand that concept or vamp on shoes and just playing with it and what a safe and sweet space to get to kind of just post it and then, you know, hear, hear. Just honestly super kind feedback and encouragement and, and just kind of getting that support through it. So that was just an extra bonus and literally two minutes. You know, some. It was the night before. A lot of times if I didn't have time on Sunday to lay out the outfits or, you know, if the weather changed or if, you know, the event of the day changed to just kind of put some things together. And that was something that I have as a habit now that I'm so thankful for from doing those is I honestly still take the photos and then now I post them in my Pinterest, you know, like outfit inventory, which was your suggestion, which was so great. So I don't have to like reinvent anything. I'm just like, what looked good with this, you know, star piece. And it's like, oh, that's right, I can go ahead and, you know, put that outfit on when I'm going out with family in town or whatever. And I already, already know how it looks. So.
A
Okay. My favorite thing about this is that it literally just took you a couple of seconds a day and a little bit more intentionality at the start of your week for all of these benef, right. Getting the professional feedback, getting encouragement, having the accountability to take the minute to plan your outfit instead of just throwing something on haphazardly in the morning. And that really, I think, helped you build those great habits that now you've been able to keep it going on your own and build up that outfit library in such a beautiful way. And all I'm hearing is benefit, benefit, benefit from just the simple act of taking a couple extra seconds in your morning. So absolutely brilliant, my friend. I'm so excited that you did that for yourself. And I know you have told me privately a couple of times now that this overall was just a life changing experience for you, but I don't actually know the full reasons behind that. So I really want you to dig into that a little bit more. Tell Me what that has actually looked like for you and what it means to have had this be so transformative in your life.
B
Yeah. So I know at the beginning, you know, it's great because you kind of say, hey, you know, what are you looking for to get out of this? And for me, I said, I want to walk in my closet and just have joy and just love everything in there, easily be able to kind of go through it. And like I mentioned, I felt like, you know, if it was like my garden, you know, it had a ton of weeds, there were beauty in there. But once that closet audit happened, I was able to really hone in on knowing, like, my style. You know, like I said, kind of the natural with the feminine with the classic. I can mix and match. I just have so much room to play. I get to play dress up, and I do walk in every day, and I love my closet, and I got to organize it. You walk up us through that. Like you said, this didn't have to do with buying a whole wardrobe because, you know, you even do have such sweet tools, like the budgeting tool that you can kind of work through. You know, we still have, you know, these steps that are so intentional that you give us, you know, with creating kind of that fun mood board, you know, and then, like you said, you know, you walk us through kind of, you know, seasonal and what that looks like with our styles and then with our closet and kind of how we start to blend those and then going into kind of that, you know, wish list is what I call it, where I can kind of bring in pieces. But I love it because, yeah, it totally has changed everything because, like, we talked about, right. I did this at first for myself. My 45th birthday. My husband was, you know, very sweet, very supportive, and. And it's. It's so sweet. We talk about my color palette, like, every day between him and my daughter, they're like, oh, mom, that's on your color palette. So it's fun because we try to guess each other's now. And so, you know, because my husband has gray hair, and I know, you know, I privately talked about it, so I'm like, I bet that's one of your color. You know, so now I'm trying to kind of even use what I've learned, and everyone benefits, but it's rippled to my whole family. You know, they. I am not distracted. That has been the biggest game changer is, you know, you get distracted when you're in uncomfort comfortable clothes. You're in what you think you should be wearing and you're in, you know, even like being home. Like I said, you know, I'm obviously home at different points, make dinner, do things with the family. But knowing that, you know, I used to not value that. I used to think if I'm the only one seeing it, I'll wear the same thing or I'll kind of go to my mom uniform. Nothing wrong with that. But man, like it was such a blessing and benefit to myself to up level that to do it in a comfortable, higher quality, you know, sweater dress or to buy leggings that maybe made me step out of my typical six pairs of black leggings, you know, I got rid of them and I replaced them with beautiful colors from my color palette that match everything else in my closet. And my closet truly is a boutique, you know, so I love looking at the shoes. You know, sometimes at night I'll just look at those shoes and I've had those shoes, you know, I've maybe bought a pair or two to kind of just help fill in small gaps. But to know that, you know, I don't have to stick to these rules that I really self imposed of like, like I have to wear tennis shoes with, you know, leisure wear. You know, you had encouraged me, hey, maybe wear those cute ballet flats. And I'm like, what isn't that against some sort of like, you know, style law? But it's just really thinking outside and having a place to be creative and a place to play with, with beautiful things that, that I love and nothing distracting. No more negative feelings when I walk in there. All the regret items have been donated or sold and just kind of, of keeping that as its ongoing, you know, beautiful kind of machine in the sense where it's like, okay, this is working so well and, and I'm looking forward to every season that was. I used to get kind of more anxiety of like summer's coming. I don't really enjoy summer personally, but I thought, how am I going to dress for this? And just, you know, you were so kind when we talked privately kind of to talk through what that looks like to do the slow transition and to really it's, you know, taking what I've learned through. I've been so, you know, blessed to go through both, both, you know, fall, winter and a little bit of spring with you all and just kind of saying, you know, you can do it. You know, these, you know, all these obviously wonderful style habits that you've built, just take that and continue with, with the next season. It's not going to be totally, you know, off the wall.
A
Yeah. Oh, my gosh, friend, those are such fantastic experiences to have now when you get dressed, and I love hearing how it's benefited your family and you being able to, you know, move through your day without the distractions and to look at your closet joyful and creative and playful and to get to have fun when you get dressed now. And I'm really. I was excited to bring you on because some of the members that I've had on the show before have done a couple of rounds of the program. You were one and done, and I love that you are like, I have what I need. I am confident now. I can just rinse and repeat this for the next seasons. And you know exactly what to do. And it makes me incredibly happy to hear that confidence and your knowingness of, like, I've got this. And you are your own best stylist now. That is always my goal, is to put myself out of a job and to train you ladies to know exactly what you need as you continue on forward. So tell me a little bit. I feel like you've covered so much around how it's impacted your confidence and your day to day. Tell me a little bit more about how you would describe your style now compared to before. And then also, maybe if there was anything that surprised you about the experience that you weren't expecting.
B
That's a good question. No, I. Yeah, I think absolutely. More confidence, like I said, just even, you know, distraction. Right. How we can be, like you said, either our best stylist or I feel like our work first friend. You know, we can think, oh, I feel a certain way, but just, yeah, wearing good colors, feeling confident, kind of. I used to focus on showing, on trying to hide areas of my body, and it's really done a mind shift to really just kind of saying, well, what do I want to show? You know, like, what areas do I want to kind of highlight? You know, is it my eyes? Is it my hair color? I had never thought about my hair color being something that I would be one of my colors. And so I have embraced the browns, you know, that are in that color palette. I used to go to grays a lot as my standard because I thought, oh, black for me was just a little too dark. And I'm not a huge fan of, like, the bright whites. And I've learned a lot about those things, too. And so just kind of stepping out and bringing in more color, which, you know, on its own. Right. Like, that psychology of it. It's Brought in more joy. It's been more intentional when I'm knowing. Speaking in front of people to kind of maybe pick a color that. That would, you know, maybe in subconsciously. Right. Bring them more kind of at ease or peace to be around. And yeah. The day to day, like. Like I mentioned, you know, just those two minutes. Minutes to prep the full garment. Right. The full outfit. I mean, sorry. From undergarments through jewelry, shoes, and then even just having a couple of options set out, it's made all the difference. And, you know, I just. Like I said, I love opening my closet, which was my goal to be not having kind of these mixed kind of noisy feelings and kind of negative feelings in there and just to get to see all those pretty things. But there's. Yeah, there's just such a piece with that and that, you know, it's just kind of fun to add a little more time and prioritize kind of that mirror checking. I think the biggest surprise was I have spent so many years where I, you know, especially. Right. Young mom to now a mom with even older, older kids. To think, I don't have five minutes. I'll just. I'll think of the outfit in my mind, put it on and go. But what a difference when you literally stop in the mirror and pause for 10 seconds and think, oh, my gosh, this is not what my mind was showing me. You know, I can. I can do it up a little bit or. And it's not, you know, obviously. Right. Like, I thought it's okay. It was my imaginary. You know, I didn't know. But to swap out the shoes or even try a different color and then see it all click. It took minimal effort and time and to really take that space to take, you know, to see the outfit on instead of just thinking about it and leaving. And then, you know, the worst is right when you see pictures later and you're like, that's not what I thought that was gonna look. But now I know I had mentioned we had a lot of family in town, and I felt so confident and not distracted to spend time, you know, with my wonderful family, who I don't get to see that often, who came over from the East Co. And to just get to focus and just to have fun and enjoy the company instead of. And even the pictures, to look back
A
and think, oh, why did I wear that?
B
But I had posted one of the outfits I wore for an event Monday, so I already knew. Confident that was not something that was taking any of my brain space away. I got to just Enjoy where I was and who I was with and what we were doing instead of. And no remorse. Right. That was the biggest thing, to not have remorse over purchases or over the day's choices because I took a teeny bit of time.
A
Yeah. And like you said, when you don't have that teeny bit of time in the morning, now you have the outfit library, builds up of proven looks that, you know, you can just grab and rinse and repeat. And you don't have to necessarily do the planning stages every day, but when you have a little bit more time to experiment and try new combinations, you now have the skills and kind of the checklist of what to look for, what to adjust. So it doesn't have to be a daunting thing or you're making a mess in your closet trying on, you know, 15 different pairs of pants. It's like, no, I know exactly what I need to adjust this in a small way to make it work a million times better. And before we started recording, you shared a really cool story with me about having your mom in town and how the experience was different when you guys went shopping this time. So I would love for you to rehash that for everyone listening now. Tell me what shopping has been like for you compared to before.
B
Sure. My mom. Mom, amazing lady. So we growing up, we would always. One of our fun, bonding things was just to go shopping she did with her mom. And so we would shop from when I was younger, you know, and now that we don't live in the same state, you know, when she comes out, we kind of always make time, you know, it's just kind of fun, you know, we get to go shop, go to lunch. And so my daughter, we got. Got brought her along too. Of course, that's kind of their new tradition as well. And we got to just go have fun and go to stores. And my mom's so generous, you know, she loves to treat us. Us to, you know, to clothing or shoes or whatever we find. And so this was the first time, though, that we went and I had just looked at my Pinterest kind of wish list board I had created, and I had ideas in mind. So I wasn't browsing. And, you know, a lot of times for me, browsing leads to buying, and sometimes buying leads to, you know, what am I really going to do with that? I didn't think it through. Now it's taking up space and I see it as kind of money lost. And it's kind of have, you know, this buyer's remorse of Course attached. So this is the first time, of course, since I graduated from the collective that I thought, okay, I'm going to look at my wish list ahead of time. And I had in my mind, you know, these are the things I know I want. I know that they will go with what I have in my closet. I'm going to look for them. And it's fun. It's kind of like a hunting. Hunting and gathering. And so I thought, for example, you know, oh, I'd really love a pair of metallic shoes. And I had done some research and looked around, and so we went to a store, and I found this beautiful pair of silver sneakers. And, you know, I. You know, I kind of go through that checklist. I thought, okay, can I think of a few outfits in my closet that they would go with? You know, does this pair. Well, do this. They obviously fit. Do they look how I would expect them to? And so I was able to do that with a few different purchases that I knew that I wanted to add to my closet. And so everything I brought home first time, I already knew what they would go with. They just fit seamlessly into my wardrobe. And I'm so, like, this shirt, I'm so excited to wear them. And, you know, in the past, I thought, oh, they're pretty things. And I was a big star purchase buyer. And then they were kind of just on their own, and I had. I had regrets later and, you know, right on multi levels. And so it was really, really neat. Know, like, I had kind of come with this plan. I still got to enjoy myself, but I knew what I was looking for. So the intentionality of actually getting to shop didn't take the fun away. It actually made it better because it was kind of this treasure hunt and. And then even trying things on, I. You know, in my mind, right, I thought, oh, I really want, you know, for example, a denim vest. Like, those look super cool. I kind of knew what style I was looking for. I tried it on, and I just. It was like my inner stylist was like, no, the higher part on this is not, you know, you know, it doesn't flatter. It kind of sticks out funny. And so I. I felt such peace putting that back. And in the past, I would have thought, well, my mom's true, you know, I'll make it work. And it's the thing of not no longer saying, I'll make it work. It's like, you know, I. It needs to work for me. I don't need to make it work.

Oh, my gosh. Brad, you, I hope everyone's listening and taking notes because you are giving so much gold in terms of advice. I love the analogies that you're using of earlier you said your wardrobe was like a garden and it was full of weeds. And now it's just beautiful and joyful and peaceful for you to into it. And even, you know, the difference in shopping and switching from browsing to hunting for what you want. And I'm so glad that that hasn't taken the joy away. But it's given you even more freedom and confidence and empowerment to say yes to the right things and no to the wrong things. And you still get to bring in those beautiful pieces, but now you know that they're going to work as a cohesive collection and not detract from the beautiful wardrobe that you've built, but really help to fill in those gaps in such a big way because it's fun to bring in key cute, pretty pieces, but if it doesn't work for you when you go to get dressed in the morning, what's the point, right? That's awesome, Katie. And just, I guess, last question, unless there's anything else that you wanted to share that we didn't cover yet, is now that you've gone through the whole process, you graduated, you're out doing the thing, what would you say to someone who's considering the collective but maybe is feeling on the fence right now about joining or if it's the right fit for them?
B
Them? I would say I have been there. I have been there. Like I mentioned, you know, I listen to the podcast, I loved the, you know, your wonderful three days and then just to know, right, like the deeper you go in something, the more it's going to impact you. And so I would say just do it. Just give it a shot. Because I, I mean it when I say that, you know, I listened to the interviews, I really thought and made sure, you know, that, that this. And, and it absolutely has just blown me away at how life changing it has been because you get dressed every day. Why wouldn't it, why wouldn't you want it to be something that you look forward to? And so for me personally, right, it was something that kind of came with these feelings and this noise and then has become something so light and enjoyable. You know, it's, it's been such a joy, honestly, to get to learn these things, to even get to share them. Like I mentioned, like with family or friends and just this overflow of the ripple, right. And that was one thing I wanted to share you know, just that idea of it has changed my mood, it's changed my focus. It's brought, you know, a new level of, like, physical and literal comfort. Just a neat way to love yourself. So I say do it first for you, but know that everyone else will benefit because when you, you know, feel that, feel that confidence you. You feel right in your clothes, they are no longer going to be kind of deterring or distracting you from your day to day life. And so I just, Yeah, I want to encourage you to any. Anyone that's kind of on the fence about it. I mean, the lessons make it worth it, honestly, on their own. You get personalized one on one time, you know, through the. Through the weekly coaching calls and through the community group that you can throw on and ask any question. Questions are so encouraged. I mean, so that personal stylist help that Heather and her team give especially that is worth. Worth the price alone. And then, I mean, absolute, total bonus. And I know ladies mention this, and it's so true is you get this color palette and it's not like five colors. You get over 30. Like, you get a ton of colors that you can mix and match. And like I said, that I have. Have just tried to use in new ways, like eyeshadow and, you know, my socks. And so it's been really, really fun and absolutely worth it. I can guarantee you will not regret it. And yeah, it's absolutely been a game changer. And I, yeah, I couldn't just encourage more. So the saddest part is when you.

When you graduate, we definitely miss you. But I, as I said, you know, I. I'm always so encouraged to see your confidence grow in such a big way through these few months together and to know that you are fully capable and prepared to do this on your own every single season moving forward. And you sum that up so beautifully. And that is absolutely my prayer and my hope for every woman listening right now is that that gets to be their experience, too. Going from feeling, you know, like their closet is noisy or confusing or frustrating, to just feeling that peace and that joy and the freedom when you get dressed and making it easier and letting it ripple out to every one. So thank you so much for sharing all of those kind words, for taking the time to be so open about your experience in the program. Katie, I appreciate you so much, and I know this is just the beginning for you.
