Aaron
You know what I did see in 40x? Superman? I. You motherfuckers.
Casey
That's our.
Aaron
No, no, no, no. I have another 30 seconds. Okay. I legitimately, for the first 40 minutes of Superman thought this is so funny. This is a multi year troll that they have done. What it. Why are there things in the seats that in the back? I thought it would be a lot of tilting forward or side to side.
Adel
To move so you can feel what.
Casey
It likes to get combat sport.
Aaron
It is. There's no time. You're watching Superman. You went, I wish I was getting hit by Superman. And then the little rope that hits you between their legs and it's like. I hated it on such a visceral level. I was so motion sick.
Casey
It hits you between the legs.
Adel
Because she mentioned this. Erin sent us a voice memo about the little rope that hits you in between the legs. But I wanted to see at the.
Aaron
40X I went to, there was a little rope that hit you between the legs.
Adel
What do you mean?
Casey
I think someone behind you was kicking you under his feet.
Aaron
No, it's like when you. It's like anytime where someone landed on something, there's this rope that moves left and right that goes in between your legs.
Casey
I think Aaron went to like a back alley 40x where somebody had. I'm like a lazy boy.
Aaron
Maybe because it was what's off, Casey.
Adel
I mean, we've only ever been to the 140x theater, right? Has anyone seen 40x in a different state?
Casey
No.
Adel
Yeah. So I don't. Maybe in LA they have a little rope, but there's no little rope.
Casey
They use air for the legs in Chicago. Yeah, I mean, my dick gets jostled around, but yeah, well, that's cause it's in the cutout of your popcorn bucket.
Aaron
It's the tickler effect, guys. You're likely thinking of the tickler effect in 40x movie theaters. I'm not even kidding, Aaron. Built into the seats, gentle sensations on your legs and ankles. It's the tickler, guys.
Adel
Is that just air? It's just air.
Aaron
No, it's a rope that is with air that they use air of rope there.
Casey
Okay.
Aaron
That moves back and forth between your ankles. I just don't tickler the tickler.
Casey
Aaron, stop yelling. The tickler.
Aaron
I saw the rope. I was looking at the rope. You guys. 40x sucks so bad. And I cannot believe that that is what the three of you do. And you go to. To bond. I couldn't concentrate.
Casey
Is it wrong that three adult men want to be vulnerable and go sit in the darkness just for one or two wheeze.
Aaron
I thought it would be well designed and it would actually feel like it was associated by what is happen movie. But anytime there was a fight, it'd be like, let's just do everything the chair does. Let's just put all the buttons on for what the chair does.
Casey
I'm not gonna stand for this. I'm not gonna stand for 40x blast.
Aaron
And then snow would come out of one little hole in the front of the theater. And then steam would come out of one little hole in the front of the theater. I'm being jostled around. There's like the sitting scenes when they're just talking to each other. I'm like, oh, this is lovely. This Superman's very good. This is a good version of Superman. And then a fight starts and I'm like, being jostled. You guys are crazy.
Adel
Casey, can I tell you, Mariah and I went back to Superman because we all saw Superman together, but Mariah wanted to see it. So we saw it in 40x and we sat in the front part of the theater. We usually sit in the back, but we sat in the front where the snow effects are. It was so cool to be in the front where the snow effects are because they're literally over your head, dripping down on you. And there's some snow stuff that happens in Superman. It was. It was very cool. I thought it was gonna be, like, bad to be down in the front, but it was. I don't think it was better. Cause you have to kind of crane your neck to look at the screen. But they do make up with it, giving you, like, access to, like, the more 40x y stuff in there.
Aaron
Okay, dummies. I looked it up. Look up the tickler 40x tickler. I'm not going on Google images. They're everywhere. They're in 40x in Denver. 40x in Los Angeles.
Adel
We have tickler, Aaron. That is one of the things that, in fact, every time I go there, I send Casey and Adel a screenshot of tickler because I think it's so funny. I just think it's. It's just air. It's. You don't. There's no external hose.
Aaron
There is. I'm looking at the pictures of them a little better.
Casey
It's just tuned a little better.
Adel
I think it's tuned a little better.
Casey
Aaron. Here's. Here's what I'll say.
Aaron
No, I'm literally looking at.
Casey
I believe the picture, the one you went to is Guys, I'm gonna feel fucking crazy.
Aaron
I believe yours and I look down.
Casey
I believe yours is like that.
Aaron
Casey, you. You of all people.
Casey
I do.
Adel
Listen.
Casey
Here's what I'm saying. I just want.
Adel
We went to different movie theaters, Aaron. We have different movie theaters.
Aaron
I know, that's what I'm saying. But don't say I'm. Don't say it's just an air thing. They use air. I'm. I'm telling you, it's this little white rope thing that is hanging down that it goes between your feet. And you. If you. If you sit with your legs far enough apart, you guys, I'm actually going to start to lose it.
Casey
Aaron. I'm going to. We will be. We will be sure when we're all look under the bed, we'll all go to another 40x movie without you. And we will confirm which features are different.
Aaron
40X tickler.
Casey
Aaron, I'm looking in the closet right now. I don't see any monsters.
Aaron
He was here.
Adel
Okay.
Casey
Something grabbed your foot, you said.
Adel
Aaron, let me ask you about the tickler. Were you wearing pants or were you wearing like.
Aaron
I was wearing shorts.
Adel
You were in shorts. Interesting. I don't think I've ever seen a 40x movie in shorts. I like to wear as much clothing to the movie theater as possible because of how disgusting it is in there.
Aaron
I went with Riley and his legs were far enough apart that he was able to avoid it. And then, so halfway through, I started leaning forward and had my legs.
Casey
Oh, maybe that's the difference, is that you're not manspreading enough.
Aaron
I man spread and lean forward. It looked like this. Looked like a fucking idiot the whole time. And then the guy from Ocean's Eleven was at the movie theater and I went, I don't fucking care about anything.
Adel
Aaron, what did you think of Ocean's Eleven? Was there, just moved past it.
Aaron
Man in chair.
Adel
What did you think, Aaron, of the movie Superman, though? Did you like it?
Aaron
Who's to say? I don't know. I think I might have liked it. The parts where I wasn't getting thrown about like a rag doll. I liked it very much, I think. I thought it was great.
Adel
I loved it. I thought it was fun.
Aaron
I thought it was like. And I think I've been a Superman hater my whole life. I've never liked a single Superman ip.
Adel
Whoa. Kind of like Lex Luthor.
Aaron
Yeah.
Casey
You cheered when Christopher Reeves died, right?
Aaron
Adol.
Adel
She told you that in confidence.
Aaron
I told you that in confidence.
Adel
