In this episode we are talking Fantasy Football with JJ Zachariason. JJ wrote an e-book called The Late-Round Quarterback in 2012. And it changed his life. That document led him to a job at numberFire, where he helped build the site’s content business from the ground up. numberFire was later bought by FanDuel in 2015, and he went on to spend years as the company’s Editor-In-Chief. There, he developed one of the most popular podcasts in the fantasy football industry. He eventually left the gig to start Late-Round Fantasy Football in January of 2022.

JJ’s now talked to an audience of fantasy football diehards for more than a decade. He’s met lifelong friends, won Fantasy Sports Writers Association awards, and worn gym shorts nearly every day of his 13-year career as a fantasy analyst.

When JJ’s not shouting into his microphone about fantasy football, he’s hanging out with his wife and two kids or riding his Peloton. Like me, he graduated from the University of Pittsburgh and grew up in Western PA. Yinzers unite!
