You thought that was funny?
Caitlin Clark
You were laughing like a hyena when he said it.
John Holmberg
What the hell is wrong with you? It's almost over. This guy emails me. So whatever happened to that cream you purchased that was supposed to remove all of your lower hair? Did it work? I can't remember the name of it. It's still in the drawer. I tried it, rubbed it all over, let it sit there for 10 or 15 minutes and then went into the shower. It's supposed to just wash off. Nothing happened. Roots are too thick. Gotta go in for longer period of time. But I'd been made nervous by a bunch of people who had used it in the past. That said, if you leave it on too long, it'll burn you. So I didn't. I'll go back in. There's also something that gets rid of hair on your bottom. I don't really have a problem with that. But you can rub it into that.
Doug Hopkins
Stronger if it's different.
John Holmberg
It's more sensitive, I guess because you're closer to a. I don't know. I haven't used that one yet. But the stuff that I did get and it was like ball away or something. Had a funny name. I don't remember the name of it. It didn't work. So other people have sent me all sorts of other. The next one was vite. That was one that people said you got to get.
Caitlin Clark
I've heard of that.
John Holmberg
So I'll try one of those. But there's like a removal no hair.
Doug Hopkins
Crew is one that no hair there.
John Holmberg
There's a bunch of them and I don't know what's what.
Doug Hopkins
But private at home hair removal because.
John Holmberg
Instead of public and away hair removal, private at home is the way I prefer to remove my pubic hair. Private and at home.
Doug Hopkins
Good to know.
John Holmberg
Not publicly and abound.
Caitlin Clark
Might do it at the park today.
John Holmberg
Might head over to the park and talk to father Dale and say, you know what? We should remove our pubic hair. Because nothing I like more than publicly doing that away from the house, public and abroad pubic hair removal. That's my plan. It's time now for the entertainment drills brought to you by our friends@reactdefense.com the Home Tactical Black Self defense training. If you would like to be more secure in your life. And you learn all sorts of stuff from that one. That one's amazing. That one's so much fun. On top of being educational, informative, so many different scenarios, they put them together, they've got a CCW class and go through that all sorts of self defense with that as well with guns, retention of your gun. Caitlin Clark card sells for a record breaking $366,000 at auction. Broke Serena Williams 2003 sport card record that sold for 266,000. And that was May of 2022.
John Holmberg
They make WNBA cards.
Caitlin Clark
Panini Prism. 2024 Panini Prison WNBA signature gold vinyl.
John Holmberg
She was good. Panini Prism was a point guard. She was excellent. I remember her. She was really. If I'm remembering right, she was for the globetrotter. She's real. 5 2. She played for the Connecticut sky and the Docs. Detroit Toxic Shock. Yeah, she was a good player. Panini. Panini Prism.
Caitlin Clark
Panini Prism.
John Holmberg
Yeah, she was a shooter. Am I right?
Caitlin Clark
That's amazing.
John Holmberg
Oh, yeah, yeah. You know, she's the best I've ever seen.
Caitlin Clark
Great. I mean, that's a record breaking deal for the women's sports. $366,000. Meanwhile, the LeBron card sold for 1.1 million.
John Holmberg
Yeah, and that's low.
Caitlin Clark
It's a little low.
John Holmberg
Oh wait. Is pacing with Panini Prism is the company that makes them. I. I confused it with the greatest WNBA player of all time.
Brett
Dare you, sir.
Doug Hopkins
Named after. Named after.
John Holmberg
No. No, it's not.
Ranch House Grill
No.
Doug Hopkins
Come on.
John Holmberg
They do all sorts of stuff. I didn't know they made WNBA cards. What's more valuable? My collection of 1991 Desert Storm trading cards which I have in the box. Mint pristine condition. Schwarzkopf, Schwarzkopf, Cheney, Bush. All of them. I remember. Didn't get any autographs. Could get them autographed, but they're in the box. I wonder if they're worth more than a pack of.
Doug Hopkins
If I remember right, that was one of the first times I ever heard your show when I first moved down here.
John Holmberg
Really?
Doug Hopkins
Talking about the trading cards.
John Holmberg
My trading cards of 2001. Grandma got them for me because they were visiting during Desert Storm. I was a kid and still I was 18.
Doug Hopkins
And they brought you those.
John Holmberg
And my grandma found it fascinating that I was watching the news so much, learning words like sorty and all the missions they were doing and find it. And she's like, she went out and found those cards and said, you're gonna. You're gonna. You're gonna love this. I'm like, oh, yeah.
Brett
Sure enough, 22 bucks are best offer.
John Holmberg
On ebay for my whole collection. For all of it. That's what it says in the case. Well, that doesn't seem right. The Desert Storm trading cards are only $22 or best offer. The. Been hanging onto that for. Throw that away. The second I get home, I'm going to toss that right in the garbage. You tell me the Schwartz, Schwarzkoff and Cheney and I think Wolf Blitzer's in there.
Caitlin Clark
That's the Pro Set.
John Holmberg
Man, oh, man.
Doug Hopkins
Process the company.
Ranch House Grill
Oh.
John Holmberg
Panini Prism is the CEO of Pro Set.
Caitlin Clark
There's body cam footage that shows the police going in to get Gene Hackman at his place. And there's pictures were also taken. Yeah, Mother in law.
John Holmberg
I do.
Caitlin Clark
That's right. Gene Hackman's mother in law is still alive.
John Holmberg
Yeah. Because.
Caitlin Clark
Oh, yeah, she's 91. Yoshi Feaster is her name.
John Holmberg
Yeah, Yoshi Feaster.
Caitlin Clark
Yoshi Feaster. She says she doesn't want them to release the body cam.
John Holmberg
Probably not great to see. No, if they do, I'll look.
Caitlin Clark
I like to grieve in peace for right now.
Doug Hopkins
Dogs have taken chunks out of them.
John Holmberg
What do you wait till Yoshi's gone.
Caitlin Clark
She's not even sure it was that the.
Doug Hopkins
I thought you said that one of them.
John Holmberg
One of them was in a cage.
Doug Hopkins
Almost one of them, but the other two were alive. And because they didn't get eaten by the dog. They didn't.
John Holmberg
Dogs figured it out.
Doug Hopkins
Okay.
John Holmberg
At least they didn't report that. That the Hackmans had been.
Doug Hopkins
I thought you.
John Holmberg
Devoured by their dogs. I'm not surprised by. Yeah, I do. If they release it, I'm gonna.
Brett
Because it's your theory, I will too.
Doug Hopkins
But I can't resist.
John Holmberg
I'm not wrong that old people taste old dead bodies. Tastes great mostly to cats, though.
Caitlin Clark
Warner Brothers spent 70 million making the Coyote vs. Acme movie, which Wiley Coyote finally sues the Acme company over the many faulty products that hindered his attempts to capture the Roadrunner. Warner Brothers sold the movie to a company called Ketchup Entertainment. It's going to be hitting the theaters.
John Holmberg
They're doing it.
Caitlin Clark
They're doing it. The movie is A mix of animation and live action. It also stars Will Forte and John Cena.
Brett
It's either gonna be hilarious or completely terrible.
Caitlin Clark
John Boyega from the Star wars series, a documentary on Apple tv. Plus it's called Number one on the call sheet.
John Holmberg
Black and white man in Hollywood, Black and heat men.
Caitlin Clark
Number one on the call, Black leading man in Hollywood.
John Holmberg
Gotcha. Okay.
Caitlin Clark
Star Wars.
John Holmberg
Yeah, I know.
Caitlin Clark
He wouldn't shut up.
John Holmberg
Quit talking when he's talking. It's hard enough when he's talking, but I did giggle. It blackened Heat Men.
Caitlin Clark
I didn't know what that was he's talking about. Star wars has had the vibe of being the most widest elite space movie ever. It's a franchise. It's so white that black person existing is.
Brett
It wasn't really something a Lando was.
John Holmberg
Orlando was in the first one Second one. Was he in the first second one Second One.
Caitlin Clark
So he says he does admit that being cast in the new trilogy was a fundamental moment in his career. So.
Doug Hopkins
But he's right. That first one was lily white.
John Holmberg
Was it James Earl Jones? Was. Yeah.
Brett
Darth Vader himself.
John Holmberg
He was blacker than the James Earl Jones that would have showed up. Not admitting to be the dad running around in all that black ebony.
Doug Hopkins
And I left his kid.
John Holmberg
Yeah, he bailed out. Stupid kid found him. It's like Toledo's dad's worst nightmare. Your dad is Darth Vader. Darth Toledo.
Caitlin Clark
Evidently Linkin park is having a tough time selling tickets. That's the guess the band had the bag. It's scheduled show at Dodger Stadium in September and move it to the Intuit Dome in Inglewood.
John Holmberg
Yeah.
Caitlin Clark
So it went from a 50,000 or 56,000 seat stadium to a 18,000 seat arena. And also Queens of the Stone Age dropped off the bill.
John Holmberg
Oh, they did. Maybe they're just fighting or something going on because they're at the canceled shows.
Caitlin Clark
In Rio de Janeiro and Porto Allegra in Brazil.
John Holmberg
I can't imagine that nobody wants to see them.
Caitlin Clark
Some people are putting a lot of shot on the new singer, Emily Armstrong, due to her ties.
John Holmberg
No.
Caitlin Clark
To Scientology and her support of convicted rapist Danny Masterson.
Brett
Not that many.
Caitlin Clark
Which she later said she regretted.
John Holmberg
Yeah, but you're not losing.
Caitlin Clark
I don't think that that would.
John Holmberg
That would have been fundamentally loud if that was a reason why. I think it's like when Alice in Chains came back around with the new singer. They did marquee.
Brett
Yeah.
John Holmberg
I think you have to be smart about it and say, look. And they had some Cool. New songs.
Brett
Yeah, but you're not. You're not doing stadiums at this point.
John Holmberg
No, you're not. You know you're not breaking out Dodger State. If Allison Chains came back without Lane.
Brett
Right.
John Holmberg
And tried to sell out Dodger State. Chase Field.
Brett
Yeah.
John Holmberg
They're moving to the arena real quick too. Sweet. You got to prove it first. You know, I did like that last. At least the single last year was great. Was the album good? John? Did you hear it? It's okay. Nothing special. I don't think I've ever been too crazy about a whole Linkin park album. Anyway.
Brett
Now they're greatest hits. Band for me.
John Holmberg
Yeah.
Brett
Save me the hits. I'm good.
John Holmberg
Yep. Anyway, what are you gonna do? We're late. 1108. Good job, boys.
Caitlin Clark
Late.
Doug Hopkins
Right on time.
John Holmberg
No, it's on time for us, but late compared to where we were. We were doing well compared to other shows two days in a row. Yeah, it's. Other shows have already gone home. There's a couple of morning shows in this building that are at home listening to us finish up. Maybe that's why they leave so early to catch us. That's not a bad idea.
Caitlin Clark
Big fans of the entertainment drill.
John Holmberg
They love that the one wears a shirt. Entertainment drill saved my life, Milton. That's it for us. Larry's coming up next. You guys be nice to Larry, he'll be nice to you. And we'll see you tomorrow right here in the morning sickness. Arizona's most powerful powerful rock radio station.

Holmberg's Morning Sickness - Arizona Episode: 04-01-25 - Entertainment Drill Release Date: April 1, 2025
Time Stamp: [04:53 - 07:04]
The episode kicks off with an exciting update on the world of sports memorabilia. Caitlin Clark’s trading card made headlines by selling for a record-breaking $366,000 at auction, surpassing Serena Williams' previous record of $266,000 set in May 2022.
Caitlin Clark highlights the significance of this achievement:
"That's a record-breaking deal for the women's sports. $366,000."
John Holmberg delves into the specifics of the card, noting its affiliation with Panini Prism, a prominent company known for producing WNBA signature gold vinyl cards:
"She was a shooter. Am I right? That’s amazing."
The conversation extends to the history and value of WNBA cards, with John reminiscing about past players:
"I remember her. She was really... If I'm remembering right, she was for the Globetrotters."
Despite the impressive sale, John expresses skepticism about the market value of his own Desert Storm trading card collection, which he discovers is only valued at $22 on eBay:
"The Desert Storm trading cards are only $22 or best offer. That doesn’t seem right."
Time Stamp: [07:37 - 10:50]
The discussion shifts to a somber topic involving the legendary actor Gene Hackman. Caitlin Clark reveals that police possess bodycam footage documenting the discovery of Gene Hackman and his wife's bodies. However, there's a personal element as the bodycam footage involves Yoshi Feaster, Gene Hackman's 91-year-old mother-in-law, who has requested that the footage not be released:
"Yoshi Feaster... She says she doesn't want them to release the body cam."
The hosts engage in a speculative and somewhat humorous debate about the circumstances surrounding the discovery:
John Holmberg: "Probably not great to see. No, if they do, I'll look."
Doug Hopkins adds to the theory, suggesting possible involvement of dogs in the discovery:
"Dogs have taken chunks out of them."
This segment blends serious news with lighthearted banter, showcasing the hosts' unique approach to discussing current events.
Time Stamp: [08:55 - 10:14]
In the realm of entertainment, Caitlin Clark shares news about Warner Brothers' latest project, the “Coyote vs. Acme” movie. With a hefty budget of $70 million, the film features a blend of animation and live-action, starring notable talents like Will Forte and John Cena. Additionally, John Boyega from the Star Wars series is part of the cast, contributing to the film's high-profile lineup.
Caitlin Clark provides details on the film's transition to theaters:
"It's going to be hitting the theaters. Warner Brothers sold the movie to a company called Ketchup Entertainment."
The hosts speculate on the movie’s reception, debating whether it will be "hilarious or completely terrible."
Time Stamp: [10:48 - 12:43]
The conversation transitions to the music industry, focusing on Linkin Park's recent decision to move their scheduled concert at Dodger Stadium to the Intuit Dome in Inglewood. This significant shift from a 56,000-seat stadium to an 18,000-seat arena has raised questions about the band's current popularity and internal dynamics.
Caitlin Clark remarks on the move:
"It went from a 50,000 or 56,000 seat stadium to an 18,000 seat arena."
Furthermore, Queens of the Stone Age have dropped off the bill, adding to the uncertainty surrounding the concert lineup. Caitlin attributes this to controversies surrounding the new singer, Emily Armstrong, particularly her ties to Scientology and support for convicted rapist Danny Masterson, which she later regretted:
"Some people are putting a lot of shot on the new singer, Emily Armstrong, due to her ties to Scientology and her support of convicted rapist Danny Masterson."
John Holmberg compares this situation to similar challenges faced by other bands, such as Alice in Chains, emphasizing the importance of smart branding and maintaining fan trust.
Caitlin Clark:
"That's a record-breaking deal for the women's sports. $366,000."
John Holmberg:
"I remember her. She was really... If I'm remembering right, she was for the Globetrotters."
Caitlin Clark:
"Yoshi Feaster... She says she doesn't want them to release the body cam."
Doug Hopkins:
"Dogs have taken chunks out of them."
John Holmberg:
"It went from a 50,000 or 56,000 seat stadium to an 18,000 seat arena."
Time Stamp: [12:43 - 13:27]
As the episode draws to a close, the hosts reflect on their discussions and tease upcoming segments. John Holmberg humorously urges listeners to "be nice to Larry" and wraps up with a nod to the show's strong performance compared to other morning shows. The episode concludes with well-wishes for the next day’s broadcast, maintaining the show's signature blend of humor and insightful commentary.
