Tessa
We're going to Houston, baby. I have a camel toe. But it's not the pants. It's like the pants. Whatever. So this is gonna be my first time going to see Braxton's house, and I haven't seen him in over a month. This is our longest time apart, so I'm gonna get there at like 11pm tonight. You need to charge this thing too. What else am I doing wrong? Give him an outfit check. I already showed them. No, but tell them where it's from. People like to know that. Brandy Melville. Brandy Melville. This is new brand Braxton's, like, Adidas thing. This is BAE and overweight. And then this is my Carry on. We're off to Texas. Let's go. I mean, seriously, this is a behemoth. This is Bamanta. I made it to Braxton's house. Hey. He's not here yet, so I'm a little scared. But he'll be here in like, 10 minutes. My flight got so delayed. I was supposed to be here like two hours before him. Now we're only like 15 minutes apart. Should we take a little tour? I really like this green bar. I feel like I need to whip up some spicy margaritas here. I mean, I'm obsessed with it. Like, the green is so fun. Braxton's notes are my favorite thing ever. I have a whole. I don't even know. It's like a jar of every note that Braxton has ever written me. Just so, like, when one day I can look back on all of them and like, even, like, he'll leave once when he leaves in the morning. Or we try to leave notes for each other. So I have to save this. It's going in the files. Wait. I'm kind of nervous. Like, I feel like I haven't seen him. I'm not nervous, but, like, oh, my God, a mistletoe. We gotta get under there. You know when you haven't seen someone in a. In a minute, why does it feel like I'm like, going on a first date right now? Hello? Do you remember me? I'm so excited. I see him. It's either that or a serial killer.
Braxton
Woo.
Tessa
Yay. I love it here. Do you.
Braxton
Have you checked everything?
Tessa
Have you seen everything? I was scared.
Braxton
What's up, baby?
Tessa
Did you miss me?
Braxton
I missed you.
Tessa
These bags are really heavy.
Braxton
You can walk faster. That be amazing.
Tessa
Thank you.
Braxton
Wel them home.
Tessa
I packed pretty light. I actually did. You'll see. The bag says heavy. Everything I have is heavy.
Braxton
In what?
Tessa
This is so nice you got these for me?
Braxton
I got those for you.
Tessa
Thank you. First, slumber at Braxton's house. I have my Texan skier on. So tomorrow, Braxton has an off day, which is great, because that's the only one that he has. The whole time I'm here every other day. He's probably going to be gone from, like, 6am until 6pm but you gotta take what we can get, right, Braxton?
Braxton
Good attitude, babe.
Tessa
What did you miss most about me?
Braxton
What did you miss most about me? Let's hear that. Wow, you really had that tip of your tongue, huh?
Tessa
No, I'm thinking of a really good answer. What I miss most about, like, being with you physically, in person.
Braxton
You're really stalling over there, huh?
Tessa
Braxton. Wait a second. I was gonna say, like, waking up with you.
Braxton
Yeah, that was gonna be one of mine for sure.
Tessa
Was it not good enough?
Braxton
No, I was saying that was gonna be one of mine.
Tessa
I never drink water. I, like, realized yesterday I had a massive headache and I was like, why?
Braxton
It's the worst thing that you do?
Tessa
Because I've gone two days without drinking any water. Oh. All right. Good night, Vlog. See you in the morning. Hello, Gimbal day. One off day. I'm going to do hot Pilates. We're gonna go to La La Land first and get some delicious coffee. And then we're gonna hang out with Baby. So excited. I really don't wanna work out right now. But you know what? Sometimes you gotta do things you don't wanna do. La La In. Up. Cheers.
Braxton
Any help? It's not chipping out at 2.
Tessa
Well, let's not crash into someone, huh?
Braxton
Relax. That wasn't my fault.
Tessa
Okay? Dropping my kid off at work. I mean, at school. At work.
Braxton
At work.
Tessa
At work. Wow, this is so cool. Each town. This is so cool. I like the stadium. Okay, have a good day. Well, a good hour. I'll be back to pick you up if I can figure this out. How to get back in here. I sit as close to the steering wheel as humanly possible and my head is on the ceiling. Love you. Have fun. Holy. That was so hot. I thought I was gonna die and pass out the whole time. I'm so happy that's over, but it was a really good workout. I'm actually soaking wet getting in Braxton's car. So sorry, Braxton. And my hair. I, like, blew it out yesterday. I mean, seriously, have you guys ever seen my face this red? I'm matching the seats. All right, time to pick Braxton up. Braxton's Freaking out about. I go, what is Heb? Cause I'm trying to look where we can get hot dogs. Cause I was like, we should lay out and grill hot dogs today.
Braxton
I was the biggest public guy.
Tessa
He was more in love with this thing than me.
Braxton
I was the biggest publix guy in the world. But Heb is a different world.
Tessa
Is it just Texas?
Braxton
I think it is just Texas. It could be somewhere else now, but.
Tessa
I like the hot dogs that are, like, longer. Like, I don't like the ones that are long dogs. Yeah, I like those ones, like a foot long dog.
Braxton
You know what Hev stands for?
Tessa
Is it something I would be able to guess?
Braxton
No. No. Shot. Oh, no, it's not here.
Tessa
Here. Like H E R e. Yeah. H E R e here ever.
Braxton
No, but close even. No.
Tessa
Here. Everywhere.
Braxton
Closer.
Tessa
Here.
Braxton
I'm afraid we're not gonna get.
Tessa
You said it. Close. Closer.
Braxton
You are.
Tessa
Here, Everything.
Braxton
There you go.
Tessa
Delicious. Oh, Jesus. Here. Everything better.
Braxton
Here. Everything's better.
Tessa
Here. Everything's better. You can never get that. You're gonna run these people over. Do you know that?
Braxton
I didn't. They're happily walking in front of me now.
Tessa
Braxton. Seriously, I saw her.
Braxton
I mean, you were. They're gonna think that I. Guys, I've never had a ticket. Never been in an accident, Knock on wood.
Tessa
You've never had a ticket?
Braxton
No, never in my life.
Tessa
That's not true.
Braxton
So you call me a liar with.
Tessa
No factual basing ticket.
Braxton
No, that doesn't count as a ticket. You've never got a speeding ticket? A movie?
Tessa
Pulled over.
Braxton
I've gone pulled over.
Tessa
Then how'd you get out of your tickets? Yeah, because. Probably because you play football. So then how'd you get out of it?
Braxton
I just talked.
Tessa
Okay, well, you're nice, so that's different. Just me and you. Just you and me in Texas. We're going to the market. Well, you. You made me.
Braxton
I got you nervous.
Tessa
All right. Braxton's favorite place.
Braxton
Here we are.
Tessa
I need stuff over here. I'm making a salad. I need butter, lettuce and lemon and olive oil and garlic. I have never seen this in my entire life. That is wild. Enjoy your ride. I mean, literally. Feels like we're at Universal.
Braxton
I wish.
Tessa
Just a little. Yeah. Well, I'm excited to see you. We'll have fun and happy. I'll have someone to be with me.
Braxton
Chat.
Tessa
Braxton's gone. All right. Well, looking forward to seeing you. You too. I'm back.
Braxton
Love you, mama. I'm. I'm getting These burgers off the grill.
Tessa
Okay, Love you too. Y' all have a good night.
Braxton
All right. You too, mom.
Tessa
Bye, sweetie.
Braxton
Bye.
Tessa
You're a grill master.
Braxton
Now the time.
Tessa
All right, let's see. My bacon's probably on instantly. What if on intuition, I killed it?
Braxton
Killed it.
Tessa
Well, we had really great plans to go out to dinner, but we decided that we would rather order in food and watch a movie or start a show. Right? We were just having so much fun together. Why are you laughing?
Braxton
Because you were yelling at me.
Tessa
I was yelling a second ago. Cuz I'm hot.
Braxton
Exactly.
Tessa
I've actually been a treat all day.
Braxton
You've been superb to be around what.
Tessa
We'Ve been doing in this vlog. Today, sitting in this kitchen and eating food. Tomorrow I'll show you guys more. Ooh, wonton. I love soup. We're gonna set up the bed so we can watch We Were Liars and eat our food in here because the WI fi wasn't working downstairs.
Braxton
So can you please tell them for the record, I do not like to eat in bed.
Tessa
Roxy, you loved when I said this idea.
Braxton
I love the idea, but I hate the idea behind.
Tessa
Okay, but you like doing it. So he likes eating in bed. I mean. No, I love eating in bed. I don't know if I've ever told you guys. When I was in high school, there would be times when, like, there was, like, cheez its under my pillow. Like, I would hide snacks in my bed. My bed was, like, my safe space. Because when I had really, really bad anxiety, I would come home from school, and, like, the first place I would go is my bed. And I would take my laptop, and then I would take, like, five dishes of food because I. I always had anxiety that, like, if I didn't eat enough food, I would pass out. So I just always had food and snacks and, like, protein bars in my bed. Rise and shine. Good morning. Okay, so Braxton is at football. I have to make a coffee because I have meetings that'll go until, like, 5pm Starting in 15 minutes. That does not leave me enough time to go get a coffee. Okay. Think I can do this? I have no idea how much to use, so I'm just gonna eyeball it. Bro, let's hope this tastes good. Date night. Except I'm the only one drinking one. Nothing to say?
Braxton
No, I'm excited.
Tessa
I'm so hungry. This is the best sushi.
Braxton
And order the scallop. Two of those. Four Otto, four salmon. Four salmon, two scallop leaves. Two scallopies. You don't want to shrimp, right? Okay, I'm gonna do the shirt.
Tessa
I feel like I can move my eyebrows.
Braxton
Cool. We're gonna do two of the wagyu. So all of those cheers.
Tessa
I was gonna wait, but I couldn't. It's seriously so good. So these you inject. This is what they do to my face. Our waiter said that you can eat the head of the shrimp. Croxton won't do it if I take a bite. You take a bite. No, no.
Braxton
He said the best part is the.
Tessa
Ones he said right there. I'm not gonna puke. I'm not biting one in Houston. Oh, wait, that's actually delicious. I'm not. I'm not kidding. We're actually trying to try it. Honestly, the best chip I've ever had in my life. Got some fingers left in there.
Braxton
Ready? Ready.
Tessa
It was really good.
Braxton
It's actually really good.
Tessa
All right. We're going to Braxton's practice today. I've never done this before, so I'm very excited. It's gonna be hot outside, so I'm wearing some, like, workout gear today. I just pick up the goddamn key. Guess where it went. Are you kidding me? Like, seriously now my coffee is ruined and my key is soaked. I'm not even sure how one does these things. Do you think the coffee is still fine to have? Cuz I really want it. That's probably gross, right? I mean, seriously, this is ridiculous. I dropped it and I go, there's no. I hear a plop, I go, there's no way. I'm trying to salvage the coffee, but I don't know if I can. Ew. Now I'm, like, scraping around. Okay, scale of 1 to 10, how gross is it to drink the coffee? Wait, now I'm scared. We got our pass. I'm scared. I don't know anyone. So that is their stadium. And then practice is over here. Food, drinks, and everything's up here. And then I think I'm gonna walk around to the other side because it'll be closer. Don't know where I'm going, but we'll figure it out. It's so hot. I'm literally dripping sweat down my back. Yay. Look at you. You look so cute.
Braxton
Thank you. Like this hat.
Tessa
Who's excited for dinner? Braxton made that. And I've done all of this.
Braxton
Whoa, relax.
Tessa
I think we killed it.
Braxton
I think we did.
Tessa
We isn't me.
Braxton
Excuse you.
Tessa
Your sous chef. Oh, I know. That's gonna be good.
Braxton
Looks good. Where'd you get that glass. Okay.
Tessa
That changed my life. Try. It's like, seriously, like, glacier Poppy.
Braxton
It's a good orange soda.
Tessa
Well, now it's time to watch We Were Liars. I'm really scared because I'm kidding. Telling me the end of the show is crazy, and then I'm gonna cry. I have Braxton hooked on it. Episode four. Here we go. No memory of what or who hurt me. So Braxton has these little rehab. Actually, I have no idea what they are.
Braxton
Yeah, I was about to say. Please tell the class. Go ahead.
Tessa
There are these things he puts on his leg for stimulating blood flow, and they make his feet twitch. Look, it's so freaky. You're not moving your foot. That just happens. Yeah. Okay. My left leg keeps going numb sometimes, so I think I need one. I want to be a part of this. Is it gonna hurt?
Braxton
No, it's not gonna hurt.
Tessa
You're getting uncovered. I'm scared. If it hurts, how quickly can you take it off?
Braxton
Very. But it's not gonna hurt. I just want to make sure I get in the right, exact right place.
Tessa
Are you cooking something in the oven?
Braxton
Cookies. In a second.
Tessa
Why did you put cookies in the oven?
Braxton
They're not in there yet. I gotta preheat it.
Tessa
Oh, cheeky. That does hurt. What are you doing to me? Cookie time. This is so freaky. What's going on with this camera? What's going on with this camera? My gimbal's going crazy. Don't look at my bunions. Okay. Ow. Cheeky. This hurts.
Braxton
Do you want to take it off? What? What is. What is wrong with you?
Tessa
It feels really weird.
Braxton
It does feel weird. You just gotta lean into it.
Tessa
I'm not moving my foot at all. Aww. Look at the two of us. I mean, this is what life is all about. It's like we're training for when we're like grandma and grandpas. We could just sit on the couch in our recliners all day.
Braxton
Oh, my nerves.
Tessa
We're even wearing the same thing.
Braxton
We are. Look at us.
Tessa
We're spending too much time together. Bright and Early, 8am we're going to see Braxton's practice today. I'm going with his mom. So. So we're gonna go see him catch that ball. He killed it.
Braxton
Thank you.
Tessa
I'm on a call right now, so I'm, like, half taking a meeting, half talking to Braxton. I love a good merch shop. Do you guys think I could rock these around?
Braxton
Appreciate it.
Tessa
Feel like I'm on a shirt. Oh, this Is cool. I like this shirt, like as a big shirt. That's cool. Cute. These are crazy. It's like Taylor Swift. Uhhuh. See, I always like the baby shirts cuz I'm like, this would be a cute little crop top. So I usually shop in the children's section. That's cute. He's home. He's home. He's back. This is our, our last night together. I'll be here another night, but I have to sleep alone cuz Braxton's sleeping in a hotel. That's so brutal of you.
Braxton
You know, it's not much choice.
Tessa
Yes. Just cracked my back. Going out to dinner tonight and then we're gonna have game day and we're gonna finish We Were Liars tonight. So maybe I'll be crying.
Braxton
Oh God.
Tessa
I feel like I need to show some Houston things in this vlog. All I've been doing really is sitting in here. What could I show everyone? Maybe I'll take you guys on a walk. Maybe I'll route you guys right to where Braxton's house is. So Braxton's got two touchdowns today practice, which was so exciting to see. See, I just can't believe you're out there with all those big fellas. I can't believe you just don't get crunched like a soda can.
Braxton
I work out.
Tessa
It really is scary watching your significant other out there. It's just like everything you guys do is just so much physical contact. It's scary. So as much fun as it is, I'm also like sitting there like clenching my hands the entire time. But I'm excited for the first game. Well, actually it's not the first game. It's just the first game I'm going to. And it's not a real one because it's. It's preseason. But whatever feels real feels real to me too. Fit. Check.
Braxton
There you are. Boom.
Tessa
It matches.
Braxton
It goes together. Oh, check a pose. Oh goodness. And we've lost her.
Tessa
Good morning. Just going to get my morning coffee. I'm really starting to like my little Houston room routine here. I'm going to La La Land to get this coffee. Coffee reveal. This place is great. And honestly, we've gotten a lot of good recommendations in Houston so far. When you move to a new city, it takes a minute to kind of like find your groove. A lot of trial and error. Thankfully we've had a lot of great, like friends or a lot of you guys. I just keep posting and being like, where in Houston should we go? And everyone has been has been so kind and generous with offering their suggestions. One of you guys gave me a list of restaurant recommendations and I literally just took a picture of it. And like everyone has been so nice and helping us, you know, get settled here. And I've been really grateful to have that support system. But I also think something really, really great for this is Bumble bff and they can help you get situated in a new city. Find friends, find things to do, find common activities or places that you're going to like with other people. People. I mean, I had a night this week, just a girls night in with all new girls that I met basically besides one. And it was so fun. I love meeting new people and it's never too late to make new friends. Bumble for Friends is definitely a great app. If you just moved and you want to find new friends, new routine, new community, I would recommend it. I've had a lot of friends that have used it as well. So that's my little TED talk for the day. Try out some Bumble for Friends. If you're in a new city, it can definitely be a little overwhelming when you first get somewhere, but I think it can be manageable. Cheers. Game day. Yo, the stadium's so nice. Good morning. Everyone here is so nice. They really are. It shocks me, we're like the first people here. Jackson's family is very on time, which is something I'm not used to, but this is actually pretty nice. No, there's like five other people here. Game day, here we come. Game day. This is a lot nicer than Miami. The friends and family section is up here and there's AC in the stadium. It's covered. I'm liking it. Cheers. Woo. Wait guys, is yours on? Mine's really good. Mine's really good. Boots. Boots. Our margaritas are clear cuz they are just tequila I think. Yeah, yours is a little more like it. We're food. You're matching the the grill. I'm going. Get out. I'm the halftime for. We're going to need three blue margarita tequilas. I got a bacon sausage dog, buffalo wings, birria fries and oh, cheesesteak. Three blue margaritas. Guys, I have a flight in four hours and I don't think I'm making it. This is only one of mine. We got many moments coming. Well, they're hazing me so. This is not my fault. I'm being hazed. I don't know. This is my initiation. I didn't sign up for this. I like it here. Yeah, we needed you make new friends. Buffalo. No problem. I love Texas. Look at this man's injuries. I can't turn this camera around anymore. Like, this is so scary. And it's just like, oh, no big deal. Whatever.
Braxton
Occupational hazard.
Tessa
I have to be at the airport in an hour and a half.
Braxton
That's easy, though. We'll get you there.
Tessa
Or do I stay?
Braxton
You know I want to.
Tessa
Do I stay? Tiki, I think the smart thing to do would be to leave, but we could also have a night together. Sleep together one more night.
Braxton
In favor?
Tessa
You want me to stay?
Braxton
Of course I want you to stay. You know that's not a question. Can you stay? Is the question.
Tessa
Oh, gee, Dee. Well, I did get hazed at the football game, so maybe I should stay.
Braxton
Boom. There it is.
Tessa
I love you.
