And although we are recording this before Halloween, the second part of this episode is going to be the morning after my Halloween party. So we're gonna give you guys the real Halloween recap. Sitting in on our hungover morning debrief like I did last year and then I got in trouble for everything I said. So stay tuned for the end of the episode for that. Are you like sleep deprived or okay?
Ashton
No, I like actually couldn't even sit up straight in class this morning. I haven't slept. I couldn't fall asleep last night because I had to wake up at 3:30 to leave for my flight today. And then I had a two hour flight from 5:30 and I landed in New Orleans at 6:30 and I couldn't fall asleep on the plane.
Alex
You guys are very sleep deprived right now.
Ashton
It was a long weekend but it was so much fun.
Alex
We went to three points this weekend so both nights we were up until like five and then we slept for a few hours. But your flight, I don't know why you delayed your flight so many times.
Ashton
On Sunday when we went to space at 10am I had a 4pm flight that day but pasta was playing from 10 to 2. My friend was like I have a 10pm flight back to New Orleans tonight. Like switch your flight, it's on the same airline. And I was like yeah. Like why wouldn't I do that? That's so smart because then I can stay for the whole set. So I switched it while I was at space. We went to the airport that night and we were like about to go through security and then I get a notification that our flight was delayed until 6am and when my alarm went off at 4am I like don't really remember this but I remember like hearing my alarm and like looking that I had to like leave for my flight and it was like 4:15 and I was Just I started like tearing up a little and I was just like, I cannot like get up right now. Like, I'm so tired. I think I slept for like two hours. When I like clicked on my phone, it was like, change flight. And I was like, change. And then I just like knocked back out and I changed it to the 10:50pm flight that day. This was last night. I got to hang out with you in Braxton and have your delicious chili.
Alex
Which is my chili not so good?
Ashton
No, it was really good. And then I was supposed to leave at what, 9:20 for my flight, delayed till 11:30pm and I was like, oh, okay. And then it got delayed till 1250. And then when I was waiting for it to be 12:50, it got delayed till 5:30 in the morning. I landed at 6:30 New Orleans time.
Alex
I'm getting on a flight to LA after this. So I'm gonna try and sleep on the flight because I'm also a little sleep deprived. But last night was actually the first night of sleep that I got because Friday night I didn't sleep, Saturday night I didn't sleep. And then Sunday we woke up, we went to the club and then we went straight to the airport. And then I landed in New York. And this was actually just like, this was supposed to be the start of a three week trip because I was going to like New York, la. New York, la. Like I think just there and back and there and back and then back to Miami. And I landed and I was listening to the Dolphins game on my headphones. I'm like, I'm stressing out, even like thinking about this again. I was listening to the game the whole flight. So I didn't sleep on the flight. And then we landed and I like went to go get coffee in the airport and I like put my headphones back in to listen to the game and I turn it on. And right as I turn the game on, they said like Braxton Barrios, like in the tent with an injury and whatever. And that's just like the last thing you want to hear. And also just like he was at an away game and I was listening to a live stream so I couldn't see the game. So I didn't know like what type of injury, like that could mean anything. Sorry, it's like pounding again. So I'm in the airport. Like I literally felt like all the blood rush from my face. Like I literally like, I ordered a coffee and I was like to Sally, I was like, just take the coffee. Like I'm not gonna be able to drink this. I immediately go to Twitter because that's where you can find like videos and live updates and everything. And for some reason my Twitter, which I was on Twitter the whole flight was like, oh, like no posts are loading right now. I tried re downloading the app, I tried upgrading the app. It literally was like, no posts are loading right now. And I think that might have been God, like protecting me because I was freaking out. And so I text Braxton's mom and I was like, hey, I just landed on my flight. Like I heard Braxton got hurt. Like what's wrong? And like she was like, oh, it seems to be like his knee or something. Like she didn't really know. I go down to get my luggage and Braxton calls me and I pick up. I just like knew right away that it was bad. And just hearing his, like, I've never heard him like that before. And I was getting my luggage in the airport and like I just immediately started like bawling my eyes out and it was just like the scariest feeling because like he was explaining to me what happened, but just like not being able to be there for him and him being in another state and like the pain in his voice, like I just, I don't know, there was like so many things racing through my mind and I was kind of like trying to stay calm with him when I was on the phone with him because I was like, I don't want to freak him out cuz he was freaking out. We get in the car from the airport and we're in New York. And I immediately like, I texted my assistant, I was like, change all my flights. Like I'm, I need to go back to Miami tonight. Like we have to change, cancel my meetings. Like whatever it takes. Like I need to like do Jake's tour. Cuz I didn't want to cancel on Jake. So I was like, I'll do the tour, but I was like, I need to do that and like go immediately back to Miami. So after Braxton called me and he was like, we don't really know exactly what it is yet, but he thought he had an idea. He didn't answer me for like an hour. And I was in like the car the whole time with Sally and I was just like hysterically crying and like, you know, it was like, couldn't breathe. Like I felt like I couldn't breathe and I was just like so anxious and I was calling Braxton's parents and I just like, I didn't know what to do and I was just crying in a disaster. And then I did Jake's tour, and everyone who probably saw me literally thinks I'm probably the dumbest person alive. First of all, I was. Had no brain from the weekend. Like, lack of sleep, going out all weekend. I was so anxious about this, and I was just doing the tour, and I was just like, holy. Like, I couldn't think of words. You know what I mean? I was like, oh, it's like, these people probably think I'm a dumbass. But I was like, okay.
Ashton
I feel like Jake can, like, have a conversation with a brick wall, so.
Alex
No, Jake kept, like, carrying the conversation. I was like, can't think of words. And then after his tour, I went back to the hotel, picked up my luggage, and went back and got on a flight, and I landed at, like, Braxton kept being like, don't come in the middle of the night. Like, it's fine. Like, I can go to the MRI alone in the morning. And I was like, you're not gonna go alone. I was like, I have to get there by 7am So I can take him. So I landed at 3am I got to his place at 4. We slept from 4 to 7, and then we went to his MRI at 7, and I slept in the back of his car.
Ashton
And that picture he took of you was so funny.
Alex
I literally was like a dead body back there. Like, Braxton has this photo of me. He came back to the car. First of all, he was like, you turned the car off? Like, there was no AC in the car. Yeah, we're in crazy, like, Miami. He was like, how are you not dying of a heat stroke? And I was like. I was so tired, I. Someone could have been slicing my body open, and I could have been sleeping. But look at. I'll put the picture up right now for anyone watching. I actually. I don't sleep. Sleep like this. Like, I usually sleep face down and, like, pretty chill, but, like, I look like a dead body right here. I was like, I was not alive. He came back from the MRI and woke me up, and he found out that it was his acl, which is, like, the worst thing, because that means he's gonna be out for the season and he has to get surgery this week. I just feel so bad that, like, he works so hard, and, like, seeing that being taken away from him is just, like. It just. I don't know. Like, I just. I feel so bad for him and.
Ashton
But at least he's. I know. But at least he's okay, you know? Like, He's. He's okay.
Alex
No, I know. That's what I kept saying. I'm like, at least, like, football's so scary, and, like. Like, you can get the injuries and everything. And it stresses me out so much. And I'm like, you're conscious, you're alive. Like, you're gonna be able to recover from this, but it's just, like, so shocking how things can just change so quickly. It sucks right now because I have all this stuff that I'm traveling for, for work. Like, I'm shooting a commercial tomorrow morning in la. And it's just like, a commercial is just something where it's like, you can't. Like, it's really hard to cancel because, like, there's so many camera people, production, lighting, a place that's rented. The brand, availability, your availability. Like, there's so much that goes into shooting a commercial, and I'm like, it's just something I'm not able to cancel, which sucks. And I don't want to leave him, but I think his family's gonna come down, too, for when he's having the surgery. And we're just trying to, like, work out our schedules right now, but he's honestly doing a lot better today. Oh, my God, my heart. He's doing a lot better today, but it was just so scary, and I just feel so bad for him. And I'm going to be the most supportive nurse girlfriend ever, and I'm like, you know what? We're going to turn this into a good thing, and he's going to have a great recovery. I love him and he's a trooper, and I'm so proud of him. And sorry, we started off on a little bit of a sad note there, but I never wanted that day to happen where, you know, he gets hurt and it's so scary, and just not being there was really scary, but happy that I'm able to be with him. Wait, I really want to explain my Halloween party that I'm having.
Ashton
Oh, yeah.
Alex
Very, very passionate and excited about this. This is another thing that happened this week that I was like, fuck. I was like, I want to cancel this party. Like, I don't want to do it. And it's another thing that there's just so many things that have been, like, paid for, ordered, people coming, flying in, and, like, I have all my friends from Miami coming. It's just like, whatever. And Braxton, I was talking to him about it, and he was like, don't cancel the party. Like, you're already going to be in la. He was like, do it. Like, have so much fun. Like, he knows how happy I am to do this party. So he was like, please do it. And just sucks that I'm not going to be able to be with him. So for this party, I am renting out a club. And I'm very excited because this club is new in la, because I didn't want a club that had, like, you know, when a club already has a vibe, like, it's very new. And I want a club that people have, like, been there and they're like, I don't want to go to that club because that just, like, I've been in that position before where I'm like, that place sucks. But. But we're transforming this club anyway. I wanted a cool theme because I didn't want it to just be, like, Halloween, spooky, scary, bloody skeletons. Because everyone does that. And I feel like it's been done so many times. Boring, basic. We're doing this different. So my idea was to do a forest and call it Mad Forest. So it's going to be loosely. Loosely based off Alice in Wonderland. And it's because I'm being the Cheshire Cat. And I know a lot of people are going to be like, why is she not Alex in Wonderland? And I did that in high school, but come on, that would be so. That would be so.
Ashton
Gonna be crawling up the walls on all fours, licking.
Alex
Yeah, that would be so predictable.
Ashton
She goes full method.
Alex
I'm gonna be a little cat crawling around the party. Literally a crazy cat. And I love that the cat's, like, so, like, mischievous. And I can't wait to see what character I develop into. Because last year, one thing about me is that I really believe in my costumes as, like, I'm transforming into the character. Last year, I was Madonna, and I kid you not, I was possessed by Madonna. It wasn't me. The way I was acting, the things I was saying, like, it just wasn't me. And her soul possessed me. And I let that. I really let the character embrace me. So for the Cheshire Cat, he's, like, mad, sneaky, mischievous. He's a trickster. And I need to watch Alice in Wonderland again before the party to, like, really get into character. But, like, I don't know what he's going to do. Like, I don't know how I'm going to be acting.
Ashton
I'm so excited to see you.
Alex
Like, I'm gonna be. I'm also gonna be fully transformed. So the other thing about this is I'm not just Wearing like a purple costume. I took it upon myself to really think that I want to turn myself into a cat. So I'm having a body paint artist come and do me there. It's actually the girl who did those aliens for Sabrina Carpenter's VMAs performance.
Ashton
Really?
Alex
Yeah. So like I'm fully gonna be a fucking cat. So they're painting my body. I'm going to be naked. My costume is the body paint. Stripes, purple and like fuchsia stripes all on my body. They're going to put a cat prosthetic on my face, so I'm going to have like a cat nose. And then I'm doing a wig. So I'm going to also have purple hair. I'm doing contact lenses. And then I'm also going to do. I got this purple Versace bodysuit that's like lace, so it's like kind of see through, but just obviously to cover like my nipples and vagine. Like how am I gonna pose for pictures? I don't know because I can't do the thing where I just.
Ashton
You're gonna literally be like crawling on people?
Alex
No, I literally need to be like. I wanna be like on all fours on all my pictures. Heidi Klum is like my inspiration. I love her parties. I went last year and I just love how she gets so into Halloween and she's the queen of Halloween. And I just want to try to do my own Halloween party. Cause I'm very excited and I want it to be very fun. And I'm just so nervous that the people in LA are gonna be losers and not have fun. I'm going to transform this club into a forest so that everyone has to have fun. And it's going to be magical fairy dust in the air where everyone's having the best night of their life.
Ashton
Yeah. I mean, you're the host, so you just got to set the vibe. If you're just like weird and like being crazy and manic and having super much, super much fun, everyone else is going to be too.
Alex
Yeah. So I guess I should. Maybe I should explain the decor. When you walk into this party, there's gonna be a circle to like get around to like where the club is. So, like through the entrance there's kind of like a little hallway. And what we're doing is we're draping things over the walls of the club so you can't really see that it's a club. And it's gonna be hedges so it looks like an Alice in Wonderland when you walk in. And there's just like big ass hedges. And there's gonna be like a keyhole cut out in the middle of the hedges. And then that's like where you would walk into the party.
Ashton
So it's like a tunnel. Like a hallway.
Alex
Yeah, a tunnel. So then on the, on the hedges, there's gonna be those signs that are like, this way. Wait, don't enter. Please enter party this way. Don't come through here. Like, go that way, left, right, up, down, like, you know all the confusing signs in Alice in Wonderland? So they're gonna be like, omg. And that's gonna be the little picture.
Ashton
Where am I going?
Alex
That's gonna be the picture spot.
Ashton
Wait, so I'm like getting excited.
Alex
I know, I know. So wait, it gets crazier. So then you go into the party, there is going to be trees. We're having big trees built to be like 12 foot trees that are just. They're like branch or leaf.
Ashton
12 foot trees?
Alex
Yeah, so they're just branch, branchy, like eerie trees. So there's going to be trees all around the club. And I'm making sure that they're tall enough so that it's not like a hazard. And people are like poking themselves in the face. And then there's gonna be like eight foot mushrooms. And I think I'm gonna put them kind of by the DJ booth. And there's a big screen behind the DJ booth. So I want the screen to play like trippy visuals of like falling into the hole of Wonderland. You know what I'm talking about?
Ashton
I forgot. Alice in Wonderland is a super trippy kind of movie.
Alex
I'm pretty sure, isn't it? That they wrote it when they were on acid or something?
Ashton
Yeah. Which is kind of fun.
Alex
You should tell people to take acid, Ashton. That's my biggest nightmare. I know. Don't say that. We're gonna fake it with our big visual of like falling and then like, whatever. So then we're having on the bar, on the back bar where all the bottles are, there's gonna be like. You know how there's like bottles of poison and it says like drink me with little tags and stuff. It's gonna have that. All the bottles are gonna like, have little, like, tags. There's gonna be like little custom napkins. And then. Oh my gosh, we're having a custom card. So the cards are going to be like, like this big, like huge, like the size of me. We're having something installed so that they can hang from the ceiling. So there's going to be like a huge, like, think of instead of like a big chandelier that's like three layers of circles, there's going to be three layers of cards.
Ashton
Oh, damn. How did you think of all this? Did you, like, coordinate this with, like, a party planner or something?
Alex
Yeah. So Kate's friend is like, a really cool designer. What's it called? Party Planner. And like, does all the decor and stuff. And she is so talented and amazing and kind of like, helps me come up with all of this. And that's what we're doing for the party. And I'm very, very. Oh, oh, oh. And I hired. Obviously I hired dancers for the parties, and I'm making them all wear Mad Hatter costumes.
Ashton
Fun.
Alex
I'm so excited. Like, this is gonna be so cool. And if no one shows up, I'm literally going to drop off the base of the earth and you'll never see me again. But I don't care. I'll have fun.
Ashton
Honestly, if I'm alone, I am gonna be Amy Winehouse. And I'm so excited. I just got my package of all my temporary tattoos and I'm so excited to be tatted. And why do I feel like it's.
Alex
Gonna make you want to get a lot of tattoos?
Ashton
I already want to get a lot of tattoos. She has one that says, like, Blake on her boob. I'm gonna have to wear, like, a triple push up bra, but I'm getting. I bought.
Alex
We should get you prosthetic boobs.
Ashton
Oh, yeah. Or we can just get a boob job.
Alex
Or if we can do that.
Ashton
I got this vintage Betsy Johnson dress from Depop and I actually have to pick it up from the tailor today. And then I just got these, like, pumps from Depop and apparently the hairstylist has a wig for me. And I'm just so excited. And I really think you should get, like, some kind of karaoke set up so I can sing for everyone. I'll be singing back to black. I'm gonna make the DJ stop and get up there.
Alex
We can do a special performance by Amy Winehouse.
Ashton
Yeah.
Alex
Should I write that on the invite?
Ashton
Yeah.
Alex
That's really cool. I like that idea. Do you only have one costume?
Ashton
Well, this Thursday, my sorority, it's actually two. Two sororities have this date party called Dynamic Duo. So it's like a costume party and it's like you and your date are like a dress up as, like, a dynamic duo. So I'm bringing my friend Shay, and we're being the two it's kind of like last minute because I wasn't gonna be here Thursday, but now I am. We're being the two guys from Saltburn. You know, like, when they go to the party, and one's wearing.
Alex
I love the Saltburn costume.
Ashton
And one's wearing the antlers.
Alex
That's.
Ashton
So I'm being Felix with the wings. And I think I'm literally just gonna wear, like. Cause he just wears, like, a white tank top and, like, jeans and the wings, so I might do that. But I also have this, like, brown, like, fur coat that I just got. So I'm like, maybe I'd wear that too.
Alex
That's really good. And you should do, like, hold the bottles of champagne and stuff.
Ashton
Mm.
Alex
I like that. I have three other costumes. But I think Halloween is so much fun because some people don't like it anymore now that they're older. They're like, it's only fun when you're young and trick or treating. Like, there's something so special about, like, dressing up as another character and getting to, like, cosplay someone else, I think.
Ashton
No, it's so much fun. Also, I, like, wanna go trick or treating with my friends this year during the day. Because New Orleans was the New Orleans is the best during Halloween. Have you ever been here, like, during Halloween?
Alex
No. But can you trick or treat, like, as an adult?
Ashton
Yeah.
Alex
I feel like if I was giving out candy and I saw people your age, I'd be like, okay.
Ashton
No. But Roe has these, like, two inflatable, like, shark costumes. And we really want to wear them and go trick or treating in them during the day on Halloween. Because there's this, like, one street called St. Charles Ave. And it's the one with, like, the big old houses, and they have, like, the troll, the trolley run through the middle. And then there's this house they decorate every year called. I think it's, like, just called the Skeleton House. And they put, like, a hundred skeletons on their front lawn. And they, like, dress them up as different characters. And, like, they have little signs and it's like, all puns. And this year they have one. It's like, um. It's like Terror Swift. And then it's like Scara's tour. And it's one skeleton for each era, like, dressed up. And it's all, like, a pun. Like, something to do with, like, bones or death, like, based on the era. And there's, like, Travis Skelsey. And it's so fun. I love it. Like, I was there the other day just, like, Looking at all them and they just, like, everyone here, like, decorates. So fun and cute for everything. I freaking love New Orleans especially.
Alex
I really appreciate that. I don't feel like anyone in Miami, like, Braxton's neighborhood's, like, kind of a little decor. But, like, I really appreciate when houses go all out for, like, Christmas and Halloween. But, like, I also, when I'm older, want to have the house that's like the just coolest trick or treating house.
Ashton
Oh, yeah. The one that, like, everyone wants to go to.
Alex
And it's so comty when they give out king size bars.
Ashton
Oh, yeah, you gotta be that.
Alex
I have to give out the King siiz bars. I literally want, like, oh, oh, my gosh. Or when. Do you remember when we were little and, like, we would go to, like, haunted walkthroughs of houses, but it was just like, family's houses and they would, like, set up and, like, you get tickets to go.
Ashton
Yes. That was so fun. Remember when, like, dad would take us to Fright Fest? That was always the best.
Alex
Fright Fest at Six Flags is always fun.
Ashton
Yeah. And we'd go on, like, the little scary trails and dad would take us on the scary ones and, like, we'd be crying and he'd just be laughing at us. It was so fun.
Alex
No, those are the best. I love a good, like, haunted mansion, Haunted hayride. And then we would also go out for Mischief Night, which a lot of people don't know about and don't do.
Ashton
I love Mischief Night.
Alex
We should do that the best. And it's like the night before Halloween for anyone who doesn't know, because apparently some people don't do Mischief Night. You go out the night before Halloween. Before Halloween and you wear all black. Yeah. When we were little, I literally would think that, like, we would get arrested and I would take it so seriously. Like, we would wear ski masks as if we were going to, like, rob someone's house. Like, I wouldn't even let my fingers be out. I would wear black gloves.
Ashton
I can't let the fingerprints.
Alex
I was like, I can't have a fingerprint here because my dad would, like, hype it up to us and make it seem like that, which was just so much fun for us. My dad would drive and we would go to my cousin's house. He would let us sit in, like, the trunk so we could. Yeah, he stealthily, like, he could, like, pull up with the lights off and like.
Ashton
Yeah.
Alex
Jump out.
Ashton
We'd hop out of the trunk and then TP their whole house so you.
Alex
Bring toilet paper and silly string. And you, like, throw the toilet paper up and it gets caught in all their trees. And then you silly string everything, and you leave it like a disaster.
Ashton
And then you run and hop in the trunk. And dad would be, like, driving away, and we're, like, running.
Alex
He would, like, jumping apart, like, 3 miles per hour. And we were like. And we would, like, dive into the trunk, and we're like, go.
Ashton
Before they get us, I think. Because we would do it, and then we'd finish and knock on their doors and then run.
Alex
Yes. That's the thing at the end is you knock on their door, so, like, you want them to come out, but you have to, like, go away before they see you. I went home before last Halloween, and we brought the little girls. The little girls, our sisters and Thomas, the kids. I got mumbled on both in my head.
Ashton
Our siblings.
Alex
Our siblings. We brought them out for mischief night, and they, honestly, they kind of sucked at it.
Ashton
They would.
Alex
They were like, wait, I can't throw the toilet paper. They, like, didn't get the vision. And I was like, guys, I think, like, maybe they're, like, a little too young. Because Thomas was literally like, he. And would, like, throw the toilet paper. And I was like, no. He's like, this is freaking serious.
Ashton
I remember it was, like, middle school was when it was, like, really intense. I remember one time me and Catherine went to. Well, her aunt was our Spanish teacher in middle school. And we. We were like, let's get Mrs. Farrell's house. Like, blah, blah, blah. And so her parents took us, and we bring, like, a bunch of toilet paper. And right before we leave, Catherine's like, we gotta do something more. And I'm like, what? She's like, we have, like, three bottles of Ranch in the fridge. Like, let's bring them and, like, put ranch everywhere. So we're like. I was like, okay, bet. Great idea. So we go. We teepee her whole house, and then we start dumping Ranch all down her driveway. We put it in her mailbox, like, on ranch doorstep. Ranch dressing.
Alex
That's so messed up.
Ashton
No, it was horrible. But we thought it was, like, hilarious. And then the next day in school, she was like, yeah, my driveway is bleached and stained with ranch because of you, too. And we were like, who? What? That wasn't us. But, like, she obviously knew it was us because it was literally her aunt. She was not happy with us. I don't know why we thought that was a good idea. I think we took it a little too far that year. Aside from that, like, remember that one street in Maniswan that we would always go trick or treating on because they would always get hit the hardest on Mischief Night. And it was covered, like, all the.
Alex
Yeah. It's so fun for when you're trick or treating to see it feel, like, spooky. So you're actually doing them a favor.
Ashton
It makes this street super exciting to trick or treat on.
Alex
Well, do you believe in ghosts?
Ashton
Yes. Like, I believe in, like, spirits, and I. I think mediums are definitely real. Like, all those stories from, like, you know, mediums talking to people from your past life.
Alex
Yeah, like a ghost. Like a person that's like.
Ashton
Like a spirit. Well, no, no, but I believe in, like, spirits, like, being around and stuff.
Alex
But, like, a ghost is like a person. I had a ghost once. I lived with a ghost.
Ashton
Okay, but you didn't see one.
Alex
Sarah did.
Ashton
I think you can see them.
Alex
Yes, you can. You can see ghosts.
Ashton
You can't.
Alex
No, you can't, Ashton. Yes, you can. Mom saw a ghost.
Ashton
Well, I think that's a little crazy.
Alex
No, because mom said that she was in college and she woke up in the middle of the night and she saw a lady folding her laundry and hanging it up. And then she thought it was a dream and she woke up and she said that her clothes were folded and put away in her closet.
Ashton
Well, I've had some crazy dreams before that were definitely not real, and I thought they were, so I don't know if I believe that.
Alex
Ashton, you can see ghosts. You can. No. And one time I had a ghost that we lived with. His name was Tyler. Never. Good. And so we basically were, like, never trusted Tyler. My freshman year of college, you know when you would have those, like, strip LED lights that would go around your room? Yeah, my. Ours would, like, flicker on all the time, and it was in the middle of the night. It would be, like, a different color than we set it to, and it would just, like, go on at, like, 3:00am so we were. Obviously, we're like, what, is there, like, a ghost in here or something? There was a speaker in our room, and it would randomly also start, like, playing music. So, like, a lot of the, like, media devices in our room would, like, malfunction or, like, glitch on in the middle of the night. Right. So we're like, okay, it's a ghost. And then one night, I was sleeping, and Sarah said that because in the dorms, like, our beds were, like, what, two feet apart from each other. She said she woke up in the middle of the night, and she saw a boy sitting on my bed. And she said he was, like, cute and normal looking. She was like, he probably, like, plays across, like, see?
Ashton
Again, this could definitely be a dream.
Alex
Okay, but it's not.
Ashton
Listen, you've never had a dream where you're like, I swear that was real. But it obviously wasn't.
Alex
Ashton, would you just play along? It's freaking Halloween.
Ashton
It's freaking Halloween. It's freaking bats.
Alex
The freaking fact. Okay, so, no, it's basically bats. No, she saw this man in my bed. No, let me finish my story.
Ashton
You don't know. It's the. It's. It's freaking bats.
Alex
No, I don't know what you're saying over there.
Ashton
It's like, the best Halloween meme ever.
Alex
Okay? It's the freaking bats.
Ashton
What?
Alex
What are you talking about? I look like a bat right now. That's what I dress this little girl.
Ashton
Yeah. Oh, can you tell him?
Alex
I know, I know. The girl is like, the freaking bats. That was fine, wasn't it? It's a freaking bat.
Ashton
Yeah.
Alex
Wait, can I finish my story?
Ashton
Your fake ghost story? Sure.
Alex
It's not fake. And she went back to bed, and then she was like, oh, my God, like, I saw this guy sitting on your bed last night. And, like, she was like, I just, like, didn't really think anything of it. And then, like, went back to bed and she said that he looked normal, so we named him Tyler. Then we, like, moved into, like, our second apartment together. And, like, weird things would happen and, like, the stove would, like, always turn on and, like, all this stuff, and we were like, oh, my God, that's Tyler with us. But she saw Tyler.
Ashton
Sure. That's crazy.
Alex
But I would love to see more of, like. I would love to see more ghost action. I'm also going to be making a YouTube vlog, which I never do. And I did, like, a Halloween YouTube vlog, which you guys should go watch because it's just so fun for my senior year of college in Key West. But I'm doing a YouTube vlog of the party because I want to, like, show everyone what's going on. Now I'm really ready for this Halloween party recap. I really need to know what. What future us is going to say.
Ashton
I want to hear what's going on.
Alex
I'm literally so excited to hear what these two are about to talk about.
Ashton
I know. Can we do it, like, right when we wake up and, like.
Alex
No, we have to do it right when we wake up from this party and Just recap everything and just blab. Okay, well, so excited. Here we go. Welcome to our hot mess recap of my Halloween party. Off to LA. Okay. The New Balance 1080 is the ultimate daily trainer, combining reliable comfort with top tier performance. I love New Balance sneakers. I mean, for the girls who are running. Good for you. I'm not a runner. I'm probably more so wearing these to, like, the coffee shop or the grocery store. But The New Balance 1080 features a cushion midsole for secure support and comfort. It's lightweight, breathable, and it is good for an everyday on the run. On the go shop the 1080@New Balance.com.

RuPaul's Jag Race is back, only on MTV. With the show stopping celebrity guest judges like Katy Perry, Dochi, Sam Smith, Adam Lambert and more. The splashiest season in her story is making a major wave.
Unknown
Raider Queen is back. I hold their face in my fancy.
Alex
Little hand because wetter is better. RuPaul's Drag Race is back. New season tomorrow, Wedding 7 Central on MTV. This is a terrible idea. Save this podcast, the end of this podcast for this part. So it's actually not even. Well, we're sitting in my bed right.
Ashton
Now, which is so comfy.
Alex
I also have to say, I just got. So we're in my new place in la. I just got my new bed. Never had a king bed before.
Ashton
I know. It's, like, massive and like, I've.
Alex
It's actually cloud. Like, I never want to leave this bed.
Ashton
Alex. I can't go on an airplane right now.
Alex
I don't know how you're doing that.
Ashton
I just want to snuggle.
Alex
I really don't know how you're doing that today. Today is a day that I just want to cry.
Ashton
Yeah, I kind of want to cry, too. I don't know why.
Alex
I really want to cry. Like, I don't get this a lot after, like, drinking, but I really want to cry.
Ashton
I've been having this for, like, weeks. Honestly, ever since Vegas. I, like, haven't had a second.
Alex
Should we just cry with the Earl girls? Really quick?
Ashton
One, two, three, go.
Alex
What do you want to cry about?
Ashton
I don't know. A lot of things.
Alex
Like, I don't have anything I want to cry about. I just, like, I just feel, you know when you just want to cry like you want to cry like, I want.
Ashton
Well, actually, I want to cry. I'm still having scaries from Your party?
Alex
Yeah, I don't. I, like, I know that's the point, is that we're supposed to talk about the party on here, but I'm like, I'm scared. I don't want to relive the mad forest.
Ashton
No. It was so fun, though.
Alex
Wait, wait.
Ashton
It was so cool.
Alex
Wait, so yesterday. So we're recording this right now on Sunday, and the party was Friday. We were supposed to record yesterday, but yesterday was entirely too scary to get up and record for the podcast. Like, I was.
Ashton
No, I. I mean, everything.
Alex
I'm like, am I allowed to say this on here? I don't know what happened at the party, but first of all, I mean, first of all, the girl who did the decor was so good.
Ashton
No, it actually looked insane.
Alex
Like, the club was transformed into Alex in Wonderland. I was addicted to the mushrooms.
Ashton
The big mushrooms.
Alex
The mushrooms were huge. And, like, there were mushrooms that were literally, like 15ft tall and just hanging around.
Ashton
And I loved you crawling on them, too, for the pictures.
Alex
Yeah, I was crawling on the mushrooms. I was crawling in the trees. Like, we should have known that. We shouldn't have put this many obstacle courses for me in a club because I would use them.
Ashton
Especially you dressed. You dressed up as a cat. You were really feeling it.
Alex
Wait, I think I might have talked about this earlier in the episode, but this is something that I feel really strongly towards is when I get into a character, wait, I always feel like my boobs falling out my boob implants for some reason. I don't know if anyone else has a boob job. Do you ever get scared that they're falling out all of a sudd if I just, like, have to, like, hold them and make sure that they're in place. Because all of a sudden I'm like, wait, it's going to be down at, like, my hips anyhow.
Ashton
That must be a crazy feeling.
Alex
It's really weird. And almost as weird as being that mother effing Cheshire cat. Because I took in my head, obviously I didn't do a trial run for this costume. It took eight and a half hours to get me into this Cheshire cat. And, like, by the end of it, I was like, oh, I don't know. I was like, I can't do this.
Ashton
The best is I, like, flew into L. A. The day of the party, and I walk in Alex's front door and she's just fully butt naked. Like, spread cheeks getting spray painted, like, in her butt. Like, I was like, oh, hey, I don't.
Alex
I don't know. What I was thinking, because in my head, I really thought that it would be, like, a sexy. Like, I didn't think it would be, like, as realistic and scary as it was.
Ashton
When you said you were getting prosthetics on your face, I was like, oh, like, you're really going for it. Like, no one everyone knows, like, cat prosthetics on your face is, like, creepy.
Alex
Yeah. I don't know what I was thinking. And then, I don't know, Like, I really just thought it would be, like, a hot, sexy outfit. And then I was like, you did look hot. That's up for debate. It was a little scary. First of all, they put that prosthetic on my face, and I have, like, the tiniest nostrils in the entire world. I don't know. Like, are yours this small? Because moms are also small like mine.
Ashton
I think I'm pretty small.
Alex
But look at mine.
Ashton
Yeah. I think.
Alex
No, yours.
Ashton
No, mine are bigger.
Alex
Triple the size. Like, there's not a lot of airflow that goes into my nose, and I'm a nose breather. And I don't know. Like, I also just, like, have panic attacks and, you know, just, like, lots of fun, and I get really claustrophobic.
Ashton
Yeah. Honestly, every time I looked at you, I was like, I really just want to, like, claw it off of her face.
Alex
No. Yeah. So, like, you know, the second that you start thinking, like, oh, my God, like, I want to take this off, and then, like, you. I couldn't, and that made me want to take it off more. So that's how these ladies, like, glued it on my face. And I just, like, wasn't mentally prepared, and I had to have Anna Sophia, go get me my Lexa Pro.
Ashton
Yeah.
Alex
I was like, please, like, I think I need to take double my dose today because I'm not sure that I can do this.
Ashton
I don't think I could have done that even, like, with the wig on my head, that huge wig. I just, like. It was a little itchy, and I was like, oh, my God, I want to rip this off right now.
Alex
So I started getting ready at 1pm and we weren't done until 8:30pm and then knowing that, like. Like, that took that long and that we hadn't even, like, gone to the party yet. And then I also was like, what if I'm hammered? And, like, I don't know. Or you. You know, when you're partying and then you, like, look in the mirror and you're like, who the is that person? I was like, no one is to let me in front of a mirror tonight. Because when we were getting ready in my living room, like behind the oven, there's this mirror, and I was looking at it and I was like, who is that? And I didn't recognize myself. And it was like, like the weird. I've never not recognized myself so much. Like I was looking in the mirror as if I was looking at someone else.
Ashton
That would trip me out.
Alex
No, it was definitely really scary. And then I was like, oh, my God, what did I do to myself? Like, halfway through getting ready, I was like, I'm not going. I was like, this isn't happening. I'm not going. You're so dramatic. I am a kind of a dramatic, but I just like, I. This was all my idea. And I was like, wait, why did I do this?
Ashton
You always do stuff like this, though. Like your bangs, your fake bangs for the frame dinner. You were like, I really want to do bangs. And you bought your little bangs and you put them on your head and.
Alex
You sometimes have visions and they. They're different in my head and I'm not good at, like, making them come to life.
Ashton
But you are. You just, like, freak out.
Alex
Yeah, but I loved the chat shower cat so much. I just didn't expect to be, like, really a cat.
Ashton
The bus was coming home after the party, you crawling around naked and having to go to the front desk to get your.
Alex
Wait, we're not there yet. Hold pause. We haven't even gotten to the party yet.
Ashton
Oh, true.
Alex
So I was spray painted into my costume head to toe. Had contact lenses in my hair, was in a wig. I had prosthetics on my face. I just, like, wasn't Alex. I was the Cheshire Cat. And what I was meaning to say about Halloween is I think that I let the characters and I. I don't. Is this weird of me? But, like, I really let the character, like, take a mind of its own. Yeah, I feel like you have to get into character. So I didn't know how the Cheshire was going to behave. And it's really funny because in the movie, the Cheshire Cat's, like, mischievous and up to no good. And I think the Cheshire Kat, like, definitely was up to no good.
Ashton
Definitely not. Mr. Cheshire was a bad boy.
Alex
But continuing on, the party was actually people showed up, so that was great.
Ashton
No, there was something in the air, though.
Alex
Wait. I was like, I can't. I don't know what. What? I still don't have a brain. But I was like, I.
Ashton
What are you trying to say? I don't know.
Alex
I'm like forgetting how to breathe for a second. That keeps happening to me. It's okay, you talk over for a second.
Ashton
Okay. So there was. Oh, you okay?
Alex
Yeah.
Ashton
Okay.
Alex
I started to get panic thinking about the mad forest.
Ashton
You gotta like sit up a little. You can't even see.
Alex
I'm trying to hide.
Ashton
I only remember having like two drinks at that party and same with like Sally and everyone says the same thing.
Alex
I also only had two drinks and like two shots, but. And I was like, oh, maybe it's because like I didn't eat that much. But last night I ate probably less than I ate that day. And we took like 10 shots. And I remember everything when I was.
Ashton
There was something in the air because.
Alex
Something no one remembers. There's a chunk of the night a.
Ashton
Good like two hours that none of us remember. We were like, where were you? Kristen's phone was locked out.
Alex
So she really happened is because. And like people are going to think that like we're talking about drugs. We're not. Like we went into a void just in Wonderland. Like Wonderland.
Ashton
Like we fell down the rabbit hole.
Alex
And I'm not kidding. And like people are going to think that I'm a freaking lunatic listening to this. But Wonderland actually took over and like we were all characters and we fell into wonderland like Alice. Kristen was gone for like two hours. She has no idea where she was.
Ashton
No one knows where Kristen was.
Alex
Cracked. She couldn't get into it. It was like disabled and everyone was.
Ashton
Unaccounted for for a full hour.
Alex
Like I don't know what happened. Like I remember the party but like do I? Bits and pieces. And also it's like I remember it. I'm like, oh, I remember it's starting and then I remember it ending and I'm like, wait, what?
Ashton
What happened in between? No, also I was wearing like six inch pumps. I think I fell 30 times. I remember I was standing up. I was just standing like having a conversation with someone and all of a sudden my ankles give out and I went like whoop. And then like three people had to pick me up. It was so embarrassing. And I had my wig was three wigs on top of my head. So I was like 7ft tall because it was like so high on my head and my six inch heels. And no, I was a mess. But it was so funny.
Alex
And you know who was crazy? There was this massive Grinch and no one knew who it was.
Ashton
Like he wouldn't say who he was.
Alex
Who are you? And he was like he was, like.
Ashton
Fully, like Jim carrying, like, in the Grinch with, like, the same suit.
Alex
It was, like, prosthetic suit, like, fully the Grinch. It was actually like someone took the Grinch out of the movie and put him in the party.
Ashton
He was, like, dancing like, him, like, with his hands and, like, doing.
Alex
I love when people do that. And who was the one girl was Kris Jenner.
Ashton
Oh, my.
Alex
And she was.
Ashton
She was fucking hilarious. I saw her and I think I, like, screamed. I've never screamed as loud as I did when I saw her. She was amazing. She was doing the whole Kris Jenner. You just got Kris dance.
Alex
Yeah, I mean, I actually don't remember that, but only from you guys telling me that. She was really good.
Ashton
She was really good.
Alex
What other costumes were so good? Oh, Madeline Argie was you. Me. And I was freaked out. She had a blonde wig on. She had, like, a Dolphins jersey, and she was me going to a Dolphins game.
Ashton
Like, why am I anxious, right? I'm really, really having a lot of it.
Alex
No, I'm like, wait, can I just.
Ashton
Do an ASMR really quick?
Alex
Oh, wait, we have to show. You guys are really good.
Ashton
We got La La Land for the first time, and I really just wanted it because I saw. I think it was Tar Yummy's vlog. She got it. And our little Babas Matcha.
Alex
It's actually the best matcha ever.
Ashton
I love the little babas.
Alex
Yeah, we can only drink out of Match today because we're so scary. And then I think other people also fell into Wonderland because everyone was. There was someone there that was, like, really crazy and that. We can't say anything else, but that's all I can.
Ashton
No, it was a little disturbing, but.
Alex
But I'm, like, really happy that. I think it was fun.
Ashton
No, it was fun.
Alex
And I. I mean, I. It's one of those things where I was so stressed about having the party, and then, like, the days leading up to it, I was like, why the fuck am I even having a party? Like, this is so stupid. It was so expensive. Like, there was so much work that went into it. And then I was like, why am I doing this? And I was like, wait, you just. I'm here to have fun. Like, I was literally like, if only me and my friends go to this party, like, I'll have the best night of my life. And I did. I didn't even. I don't even remember seeing anyone else. So imagine that we're all in Wonderland. We're all, like, out of our fucking minds. And it's 2am and all of a sudden it was, like, really bright in the club, and I was like, wait, what's happening? And I forget that there's, like, a time here when they kick everyone out that's like, I've never seen that happen before. Except when I come to la. We were fully, like, on another planet, and they turned the lights on and I was like, that is something you.
Ashton
Just never, ever, ever want to happen.
Alex
Oh, oh, wait. And you also know how I know that the Cheshire took over. I don't remember this, but my friends who were at the party called me the next morning and they were like, oh, my God, you were only meowing. And I was like, wait, what do you mean? Like, I was. I didn't meow once, like, getting ready. I didn't even practice meows. And they were like, no. We were like, oh, my God, Alex, are you having fun? Like, what's up? And you were like, meow. So that's how I know I was possessed by the Cheshire Cat. And last year I was possessed by Bandana. And I'm so excited for the Mad Forest next year. And what is it gonna bring? But now I feel like people, like, maybe we'll take it. Not it, but me more seriously, because I love Halloween and a good party. And I feel like sometimes people, like, have parties, but they just kind of, like, are hosting a party and, like, have nothing really to do with it. But I'm like, I'm here to make sure that we all are having the best time at the Mad Forest and everyone is gonna lose their minds.
Ashton
No, it's definitely an experience at your parties.
Alex
And I'm very excited.
Ashton
Me too.
Alex
For next year's party.
Ashton
We're already.
Alex
I already started planning ideas for next year's party.
Ashton
Alex was like, all right, this is what we need to do better for next time. We haven't talked about getting home from your party on Friday.
Alex
Oh, shit. This is the worst part.
Ashton
No, this is the best part.
Alex
No, no, no.

Alex
Obviously, like, we were ripped from the party in the middle of us, like, having fun.
Ashton
We weren't ready to go home.
Alex
Yeah. It wasn't like we were like tired and like, whatever. We were still like uppity ready to go. And this was also. None of us had seen each other in hours because we were all in our own.
Ashton
We were all in different worlds.
Alex
Wonderland.
Ashton
So we hadn't like been together as a group.
Alex
I didn't know what she was doing. I didn't even know where I was, honestly. We pull up to my apartment building now that I just got a place in. And mind you, this is like my third day living here and I'm most likely going to get evicted from this.
Ashton
Place because they definitely hate you.
Alex
They definitely hate me. We walked in and I realized we were like, go to the elevators. Mind you, I'm this big cat and everyone is like screaming. We're like, we're walking to the elevators and I realized I didn't have my key, so I had to go to the front desk and ask for a new key. While I'm blacked out.
Ashton
No, no, no.
Alex
Looking like a cat.
Ashton
You missed it. First of all, we're sitting outside of the elevators for like 10 minutes just like screaming and being manic. And I'm like, Sally, like, your dress broke open. Like, I can see your butt.
Alex
Sally was naked.
Ashton
She's like, oh, no, I unzippered it. She's walking around with her whole dress unzippered in the lobby. We, the elevator door open, opens, and we all get in the elevator and we're all like screaming. Manic. I have this four minute video of us just like crawling on each other in the elevator.
Alex
I'm not sure what happened because we all came straight out of Wonderland. No, we were in this elevator and.
Ashton
We'Re all like kind of debriefing with each other, like, screaming.
Alex
Everyone was like, on all fours.
Ashton
We're all like crawling around, like, licking the walls. I don't know what was going on. We're in the Elevator. We're in the elevator for, like, a full minute, and then we're like, wait, are we moving? And we look.
Alex
No. And I realized to me, the Cheshire cut in the corner of the elevator like this. And I like, wait, we're not moving. We're not moving. And I have a fear of elevators, so I started to freak out. So then we get out of the elevator, and I had to get a key from the front desk.
Ashton
Alex had to run back to the.
Alex
Front desk looking like a naked, crazy cat trash. Our cat who's blacked out. And my contacts kept swirling.
Ashton
Yeah. So her eyes were, like, cross.
Alex
Yeah. So I was like, hi, I'm Alex. Like, I need a key to my apartment. And it definitely came out much more jumbled than that. I come back over after getting a key. Sally, her dress is unzippered, so, like, her whole back and butt crack is out. Ashton, sprawled on the couch. We were with Zaza, who was dressed as Willy Wonka, and he had this big, like, stick. Kristen was crawling on all fours. Like, my phone is cracked.
Ashton
My phone is cracked. Like, where was I?
Alex
And I. I don't know what I was doing. I kept saying, like, guys, guys, no.
Ashton
We were all just, like, screaming at each other.
Alex
And so then the video continues of us, like, out in this lobby, and then we get in the elevator, and then Sally's like, ashton, your wig, your wig.
Ashton
I had to run back. I left my wig on the couch. And then we had to take Alex's prosthetics off. When we go back, I don't really.
Alex
Remember getting the prosthetics off.
Ashton
And the funniest part is what they gave her to remove the prosthetics. And the paint was this gigantic tub of baby oil.
Alex
So I kept saying, like, hi, how am I gonna get this off? Because I'm also going to be blacked out beyond my mind. And, like, I'm not sure, like, how to get this off. And they were just like, oh, they give me a. Like a. A jug. A jug of baby oil. And they were like, you just rub this on and, like, it'll come off. And I'm like, okay. Like, great.
Ashton
So we're, like, all rubbing the baby oil all over Alex's face and her body and everything.
Alex
And all four of them are rubbing me and baby no. Which we were like, she's ripping. I have this photo I have to insert right now. She's ripping my face off. Like, this. Anna goes, she looks like a newborn baby. Before they, like, wipe it off, like.
Ashton
Literally clean all this off when it's.
Alex
Like, just birth out of the woman's top.
Ashton
No, it was so scary. But also, like, it's really scary that, like, we just had a big jug of baby oil because that just if someone saw the state of our room and the baby oil, they would be really scared.
Alex
No, no, no. So continuing on, we. Then someone, I don't know who, placed an order of food from every restaurant, Uber Eats.
Ashton
Somehow we ordered from 10 different restaurants.
Alex
But no one placed the order. Like, none of us were like, oh, we ordered food, but there was, like, Papa John's, there was tacos. So now the apartment building is letting in all these, like, food deliveries. They're probably like, what's going on up there? I'm. My wig was glued to my head. So. Ashton, I don't really remember this part, but I remember being in the shower eating Papa John's while rubbing myself in baby oil and, like, crawling around and my contacts were still in. And then I remember someone was like, how are you gonna get your contacts out? And I ran. There's a video of me, which I feel like I can't show this one because I'm naked and, like, half paint dripping off of me. And I'm like, I can do it, I can do it. And I go in and I'm like, ripping the contacts out of my eyes.
Ashton
There is also pink and purple paint all over this apartment. Like, Alex somehow managed to get paint on.
Alex
Yeah, so that's the other thing is I just moved into this apartment. I've never had such a nice place furnished in my life because I had a decorator do it. And this, I will say this is the smart thing, though. I didn't put any of these sheets or pillows on the bed until today because I knew, I just knew. There's no way that I'm going to be a fully painted cat and be lickety clean and go to bed. And granted, I'm gonna overlay the photo right now. This is how I fell asleep. And so I had these. I just got some, like, cheaper sheets to put on the bed because I knew I was gonna ruin them. Which it actually ended up washing out anyway, which is good. Yeah, it did. But I fell asleep on the bed. And the whole entire bed was purple. My floor was purple, my walls are purple.
Ashton
Stuff is purple somehow.
Alex
My bed frame was purple, my kitchen chairs were purple.
Ashton
The walls.
Alex
So we woke up the next morning and I kind of was like, wait, what happened last night? And my cat prosthetic is sitting on the floor. There's hair everywhere. There's purple everywhere, there's baby oil everywhere. I was like, this looks like a bad scene right now.
Ashton
Yeah.
Alex
Also, I don't know what happened to us, because people. I mean, I just know people are gonna be like, they took drugs. No, we didn't.
Ashton
And I really only remember having two drinks in one shot.
Alex
Me too. And I don't know, it's like the mad forest took over. And I'm still like, I still want to cry about it. I had the best night ever. But, like, I just want to cry.
Ashton
I'm all anxious. Thank God for that mega bed we had the next day for the debrief.
Alex
Yeah. So my friends, because all my friends are here, they are staying at an Airbnb, and they made, like, a huge mega bed with, like, all the beds in the Airbnb combined. So all 12 of my girlfriends went and sat in this big mega bed, and we played, like, it was like a Christmas YouTube video.
Ashton
It was so nice.
Alex
Like, kind of like spa music. And then we all, like, ordered food and, like, just snuggle together for, like, three hours. Yeah.
Ashton
We also watched some Trisha Paytas.
Alex
Yeah, we watched Trisha Paytas Best Ofs.
Ashton
That cured me a little.
Alex
Yeah. I mean, I don't know. Like, I. I'm, like, anxious. I'm really anxious. Talking about it again. And my skin. So now let me tell you, getting that cut off did not come off in one lickety split. I woke up and there was still pink and purple all over me. And then I showered two more times the next day with the baby oil and then shaving cream, and there's still pink stripes all over my body, so. And I'm also going to, like, a red carpet event tomorrow in New York, so I can't fashion event. I can't have pink stripes. My ears are pink. Like, my scalp is pink. My hair is pink, My toes are pink. So I text the makeup artist, and I was like, hey, like, it's not coming off. It's, like, stained on me. And, like, the bulk of the paint came off, but my skin is stained with these, like, pink stripes. And I just had to take, like, my sixth shower where I'm fully intensely scrubbing with baby oil and shaving cream, and it's still on me. So I don't know what to do about that. She's the Cheshire Cat's. Like, now my skin's, like, getting itchy because, you know, when you've, like, put so much stuff on it, I'm like, I want to crawl out of my skin.
Ashton
I just scrub off all my Amy Winehouse tattoos yesterday, and I think my skin's, like, raw now. Those temporary tattoos stick on. Really?
Alex
I don't feel bad for you. No, I literally don't feel bad for you at all.
Ashton
Sorry. Anyway, I actually really have to go, though, because I'm gonna miss my phone.
Alex
Maybe you should call your Uber.
Ashton
Yeah, I haven't packed. Now I'm flying back to New Orleans. Back to school.
Alex
Back to school? You. Are you literally ever at school?
Ashton
No, I've been away every weekend this month, and I'm so burnt out, and I just want to cry.
Alex
Wait, is that next weekend that I'm coming to New Orleans?
Ashton
No, next. Next weekend. The 8th. The 7th.
Alex
I'm so excited for that.
Ashton
I'm so excited. It's my parents weekend and everyone's coming.
Alex
I've never. Fun fact, I've never visited Ashton at school, besides coming with my friends from Mardi Gras.
Ashton
Yeah. You've never, like, visited.
Alex
I've never visited you.
Ashton
You.
Alex
Am I gonna stay with you?
Ashton
You can if you want.
Alex
I'm so excited.
Ashton
My room's kind of small and crowded because there's a podcast studio in it.
Alex
Well, welcome to my life.
Ashton
Yeah. Okay. I have to pack.
Alex
Okay. Well, bye, Ashton.
Ashton
Bye.
Alex
I'm gonna miss you so much.
Ashton
Wait. I just want to snuggle and cry.
Alex
I know. I want to snuggle and cry, too. That's all I'm gonna do today. I also really want to try Dim Tai Fung.
Ashton
Stop. I'm so jealous. I really want to try it. Can we come next week?
Alex
Wait, so is that, like a. I didn't know it was, like, a popular place, but my friends went, is it all dumplings?
Ashton
No, they have, like, other stuff. I can't believe they saw Nora Smith there.
Alex
Yeah.
Ashton
That's crazy.
Alex
She's so nice and beautiful.
Ashton
You've met her?
Alex
I met her at the Mew Mew show. Wow. And, like, you know when someone just has a presence that's, like, so nice?
Ashton
She has an aura, for sure.
Alex
She was so nice. Like, just like a lovely human being. And I was like, I. I do kind of feel like I'm in my Narsmith era, though.
Ashton
Really? Even after the Cheshire Cat?
Alex
No, but, like, in this apartment, I woke up this morning and I did the dishes and I did laundry.
Ashton
Alex is like, I haven't done laundry in so long. I'm like, no.
Alex
Because now that I have, I'm telling you, when I travel, it's not when I'm home. But when I travel, I'm so clean. And in apartments and in hotels, I mean, in hotel rooms, I'm so clean because I just want everything to be in a, like, great place. And because this apartment is new and because it's nice, I, like, like, really care to take care of it. And I think that's my problem with my apartment in Miami is, like, it will never look good in my room because not one thing of furniture goes together. There's. There's rolling racks in every corner. Like, it just. It's never gonna look good. So, like, I don't even bother cleaning it. But now, like, I want this place to look beautiful and clean. Like, I literally was swiffering the floors this morning. I've never done that, like, in my life.
Ashton
No, it's really nice here. I love it.
Alex
And I really hope that I don't get evicted. I'm so sorry. Apartment, Bill building.
Ashton
But Alex is not the best.
Alex
That's not true. I'm a great resident. I actually. Are you leaving?
Ashton
I really, like, have to go.
Alex
Oh, well, can I tell my eviction story?
Ashton
Can I pack while you do it?
Alex
Yeah, just put down the microphone. Okay. Tomorrow morning at the crack of dawn, I'm flying to New York City and then going straight to the CFDA Awards, which is like a fashion carpet. And then I was supposed to fly the next day right back to LA because I was going to spend Halloween here because there's going to be fun Halloween parties here on Thursday, which is actual Halloween. But as I told you guys before in the episode, Braxton got hurt, so he's going to be having surgery now on Wednesday. So obviously I'm gonna go back to Miami to be with him and take care of him when he has his surgery. So that's the other thing is my last costume, which I do kind of want to say might be my best costume this year, I'm not going to be able to wear because I'm going to be in Miami and there is a party going on in Miami, but I'm not going to go. Like, while Braxton's literally getting back from surgery, I'm not going to leave him and go to a party. So I'm going to save my costume that I had made, which was really upsetting. I had had, like, so many fittings for it. It was custom made. Like, the sickest outfit. I don't think I've ever actually. I know I've never seen anyone do it before. I guess that's one thing less I have to Worry about next year. I can always wear that costume next year. But I'm actually really excited because now that. Not that I'm excited that Braxton's hurt, but now that he is hurt and having surgery this week, and I'm gonna be going home, we're gonna do, like, a really wholesome Halloween. And I. Well, I guess this is gonna be posted on Halloween, so I'm so excited. And I'm gonna be posting vlogs and stuff on my TikTok of what I'm doing, but I'm really excited. I'm looking up all these different, like, Halloween things. So I want to make bruschetta, and I got these cookie cutters that have ghosts. So you, like, cut the mozzarella in little ghosts, and you put, like, balsamic vinegar as the eyes. And then I saw another thing that was pasta and meatballs, but you wrap, like, a noodle around the meatball and, like, you put these little eyes on it, and they look like mummies. And also, I'm so excited because Braxton lives in a house, so I want to hand out candy to kids that are trick or treating. Hopefully kids are trick or treating. Like, I'm gonna be so upset if they're not, because I'm gonna get. I'm gonna get the king size bars for the kids because I want to be a good house that everyone wants to come to. So I think, like, we'll have a really fun Halloween. We'll do, like, maybe a big movie marathon and watch some scary movies, and I'll, you know, decorate Braxton's house. Fun. Sort of like I did for his birthday. But I want him to just feel, like, cozy and good. And obviously it's going to be a hard week for him because right now he's able to walk and he's fine. And then after the surgery, he's not going to be able to, and he's gonna have to go into physical therapy and, you know, learn how to do everything again and be able to move his knee and everything. So I just want to make it as, like, fun and comforting for him as possible. I think we're actually gonna have a really, really great Halloween this year. So I'm looking forward to it. Even though it's not going as I expected, I'm really looking forward to it. And I'm a big believer in everything happens for a reason. And I think we're gonna make the best out of this scenario. And I'm just so proud of Braxton because he's so positive and I'm happy that I'm able to be by his side and support him because this is gonna be a really hard time. But like, I just have. There's like no doubt in my mind, like, I don't worry for him because he's so like, positive and athletic and I just know he will be fine and recover. Great. I'm just there to be a good, supportive partner and have some comic relief because we just make each other laugh all the time. So I'm really actually looking forward to that wholesome Halloween after this weekend because this weekend was a little scary and I'm excited to post a vlog of this on YouTube. I haven't vlogged on YouTube in two years since last time I went to Key west in college for Halloween. So I'm really looking forward to it and I hope you guys enjoyed this Halloween episode. Halloween is literally my favorite holiday. Love it so much. And I'm so happy that the party went over well and everyone had fun, even though it was a little bit of a scary night. I had a good time at the Mad Forest and I'm looking forward to the Mad Forest next year. But happy Halloween everyone. I love you all so much. I will see you guys next Thursday. Bye. Wait, did I just turn that off? How do I get that back on? I'm a hot mess.

She elaborates on her commitment to creating an immersive experience, emphasizing her transformation into the Cheshire Cat.
Alix (16:00): "I'm fully gonna be a fucking cat. So they're painting my body. I'm going to be naked. My costume is the body paint."
To achieve this, Alix collaborates with a body paint artist renowned for their work with celebrities, ensuring every detail aligns with her vision. She discusses the unique decorations, including towering trees and oversized mushrooms, aiming to transport guests into a whimsical yet eerie Wonderland.

Alix (38:02): "I'm crawling on the mushrooms. I was crawling in the trees. We shouldn't have put this many obstacle courses for me in a club because I would use them."

Alix (43:00): "I didn't recognize myself. I've never not recognized myself so much. I was looking in the mirror as if I was looking at someone else."

Alix (10:28): "He thought he had an idea. He didn't answer me for like an hour. I was hysterically crying and like, you know, it was like a disaster."
