Nobody prepared me for waking up months later searching for the woman I used to be...

...only to realize she no longer existed.

After my younger brother died from an opioid overdose, I spent years trying to become “myself” again. Instead, I lost my religion. I lost my certainty. I lost the identity that once made the world make sense.

What followed wasn’t simply grief or the dark night of the soul… It was an INITIATION that took years to understand, realize, accept, and DESCEND into fully in order to transmute and fly like a sparkly phoenix … (((still waiting for my wings)))
