On July 7th, award winning journalist Amanda Connolly is set to debut her first foray into authordom with The Lure of Wolves and Whispers, a romantic fantasy novel inspired by Irish mythology centering a young girl in the Isle of Eireann, ruled by a tyrannical, bloodthirsty royal family set against the magic that once thrived. Maeve saves her sister by buying illegal magic, but the cost is being thrust into a deadly game among the noble young women of her nation. She must not only beat the odds as the only peasant girl to ever win the games if she hopes to survive, but she must also learn who she can trust, and what causes are worth fighting for.
