You are at the best part. Yeah, you are at the best part. I kept hearing that today, like a little gentle whisper in my ear, in my spirit and my intuition. You are at the best part. And we forget that, don't we? You know, many of us, we get so focused on the finish line, the outcomes of where we want to be, that we forget that you are at the best part right now, my friend. You are stepping into the best part. Something I always say is the destination is in every step. And why do I say that? Because it takes our attention, our presence into the present moment. It takes us out of our worries of the future, our doubts and our regrets of the past. And it brings us back into this next step that we are making. Because that is all we have. Have. And that's the best step we can take right now. Because every step matters in our story. And we know this. All of us have that wisdom. All of us have those lessons. But we need the reminder. Because knowing something is very different than embodying something, right? Like you can hear something, you can know something. But human beings, a lot of us, what do we need to do? We need to learn through experience. Many of us learn through the hard stuff, don't we? Hey, I'm one of those people, too. But to truly embody something, it takes practice, takes intention and it takes our presence. What a powerful thing, our presence. And then it takes a little bit more practice again. So to fully embody that the destination is in every step that you are where you are supposed to be, exactly where you need to be. That you are at the best part. It takes practice, my friend. The beautiful thing is the very thing that you need to do. You were these very things you were made out of, weren't you? Weren't you made with intention? Look at your personality, look at your uniqueness. Look at you. Look at your story. You were made with intention. Do you believe in that? You were made with intention and with care, with thought, thoughtfulness, and with practice. Why? Cuz before you, there were many more made. Billions and billions of humans made. And you were made through presence. You know, in the Bible it says, no, let us make man. Actually, no, let us make humans. You understand? Man and woman. Ooh, beautiful humans. And our likeness, which means you have the presence of divinity within you. Literally, you have the presence and the likeness, a divinity in you. So the very intention, the very presence, the very practice that you need in this season is already in you. You are made out of it. I always say you have everything that you need to succeed. And what does that mean? It means that you know the confidence, the courage, you know everything that you are looking for, everything that you feel like you need, that you might not have, you might be like, oh, my God, that type of person is so brave. Well, the experience you are about to step into, the best part, is going to activate that bravery. There is a seed of bravery within you. And the experience is the very water and light that you need to sprout and blossom that seed. The very love that you need in this next season for yourself. Oh, that is already in you. Because you are made with love. You are at the best part. You are at the best part, my friend. Because life isn't about a single moment. No. Every step is a string in our own creation. You know what I love is if you watch an interview or even if you look back in your own life, but when you listen to an interview or a podcast and someone's retelling their story, what do they do? They usually will bring up a very difficult time that they went through. Why? Because that's where their character was molded, part of their character. And they always say, like, you know what? Even though that was incredibly difficult, and at the time, I was like, just wanting to get out of it. They did not want to be there. They hated it. Everything about that moment in their life, it was a struggle. We've all had these type of moments. Some of us might be there right now. They say, in hindsight, when I look back, I wouldn't Change a thing. And I'm sure all of us have moments that when we look back, we're like, you know what? That was difficult, but I see what that did. Or I see how I alchemized that and created the individual who I am now. You are at the best part. The destination is in every step. That's a mantra for me. I repeat it to myself often. Why? Because to live a truth, you must embody a truth. You must practice it. Set an intention. What is the destination? The destination is somewhere we would like to be. Right. It's like a kid on a road trip. What do they say? Are we there yet? Why, they're just so excited to get to Disneyland. But guess what? Look out the window. Enjoy the view. The destination, we think is the final step. So often we're so focused on the destination that the step that we're taking right now, that lacks something, something really important, our presence. And if we have the presence of divinity in us, it means that the next step we're taking, the step that we are taking right now is lacking divinity, energy. No wonder we don't like where we are. No wonder we're constantly trying to escape ourselves. Giving our attention to things that truly don't deserve it. Giving our energy to people who really don't deserve it. But we're looking for an escape because we're waiting to be at the best part. Not realizing you're at the best part because your life is the best part. And of course, there's going to be moments that are more exciting. Yeah, there's going to be moments that feel so orgasmic. But your life in a whole is like a book. It's like a movie. Every scene, every page, every chapter matters. It's like when you're watching a movie and you get to the end, if it's a good movie, you're kind of sad that it's over, you know, Let me go back to the middle. Let me go back to the part where the climax was just climbing. Let me go back to where they fell in love. Let me go back to the messy part. You know, I just took a road trip with my daughter and I set a destination and I told my daughter. I was like, hey, you know, the House and Full House. Because it's like one of her favorite shows. It was one of my favorite shows growing up as well. I think it's part of the reason why I'm so positive that was such a positive TV show. I was like, you know, the house? She's like, yeah, I'm like, let's go there. She looked at me, like, really, like, excited, though. And I was like, yeah, that's the destination. But really, the destination was the whole drive. And we hugged the coast the whole way down. And I'm not even. God, I'm not even gonna lie. Every 10 minutes, I stopped and pulled over. Why? Because of the views. Oh, my God. The coast down from Canada all the way to California, through Oregon, Northern California, and just down. Oh, my God, it's immaculate. And I told my daughter, yeah, we're going to San Francisco. But we actually spent three days getting down, one day in San Francisco, and then I drove back one day on the I on the I5 highway where there was less views. But the majority of the journey was actually just driving down the coast, enjoying the views in the little towns. And we actually came across this one little town called, like, Fort Bragg. And we were driving, and I don't know where there's all these, like, old people, like, 80 years old, 70 years old, even 90 years old, with signs. Real hippie like signs. Like, real protesting, like, real revolutionary. I was like, what is this? I'm like, we gotta pull over. We gotta pull over. And told my daughter's like, sometimes you gotta take a moment, you know, and smell the roses. And we stopped, pulled over. You know, we did some photography because it was just a cool scene. I'm, like, talking to some of the old people. I'm like, can I get a picture of your sign? And then I found a little chocolate shop. And then we found a record shop and a bookshop, and then we had some. And this town was so fun. This town was immaculate. And I told my daughter, I'm like, if we were so fixed on San Francisco just being our destination, we would have never stopped because we would have been in a rush. But because the real journey was just a journey down. Anyways, I told my daughter, it doesn't matter when we get to San Francisco. We'll get there when we get there. We were willing to take a moment, smell the roses, realizing that every part of this journey matters. We're just being spontaneous. We're just gonna flow. And for me, it was really actually giving her a lesson in flow and going on a journey and not being in such a fixed outcome, allowing life to bring you moments that you could never plan for. And that's the thing. You may be so fixed and focused on a destination that you miss some of the most beautiful moments along the way because you think you're supposed to be somewhere right now. You made a timeline 10 years ago from your for yourself, but you're not there yet. Now you are on your way. And you are at the best part. Because the best part is this next step. Again, what is a destination? A destination is a point we have set for ourselves. Somewhere we want to go. So guess what? Rewire your mind or this next step to be somewhere you want to be so you don't escape it. So you give it all your energy. And guess what? You get to the next step a little bit faster if that's what you want. And you get the most out of it. And you place meaning into it. And this is how we create a better rhythm for ourselves. This is how we create a better life for ourselves. We are happy, while not just one. When we don't set our happiness on these fixed outcomes and f fixed points in the future, no, we actually put it on our presence and we practice it again. We. We've all heard to enjoy the process. Like, we know this, but it. We have to embody it. And that just takes practice, right? It takes turning on the In Hindsight podcast and getting that reminder. And then today actually reminding yourself that this day matters. Even if it's less exciting than yesterday, even if it doesn't feel good. As you know, May 24, this day matters because this day breathes into the next day and breathes into the next day. Every page in your book is a part of your journey. And later in life this season, if it is a little bit difficult for you because some of us are going through some things right now, and I want you to know, you know, I'm here with you in spirit. We're all in this together collectively. We are on this human experience, doing the best we can while we can. Good job. Congratulate yourself. You understand this season. You may tell this story in the future. Oh, my God. You're gonna be like, man, you know what? I really learned how to love because of that season. I really learned what was best for me because of that season. I really learned how to manage my money because of that season. And now we can ball out because the money is flowing to you, my friend, because you are abundant. It is coming. It is on its way. You are at the best part. The best part in the story is the one in front of you right now. When you open your eyes. Life is going to give us a full spectrum of experiences. It truly will. And each step does matter. It's like when you get in the kitchen and you follow a recipe. Often when you skip a step because you think it's pointless. You realize later, oh, I get it. I was really supposed to let that sit for 15 minutes because now the ice cream doesn't have the texture that it's supposed to have. You were supposed to let that steak sit on the cutting board for a few minutes and let it settle. Let it settle. You understand? Each step matters. It may not be a sexy step. Nope. It may not be an exciting step. Nope. But it matters. You know why? Cuz you matter. You matter, my friend. You literally work. Made with intention, through creation, with presence, you know, and divinity is in you. You were made in its likeness. And you are stepping into the best part. You know, I was looking at my own life and I was like romanticizing these places we're we're going to go. And I'm like, yeah, I love that. And then I was like, but you know, you know what I love most and is that we get to build towards that. That like, I am creating a life. Like lit. Being yourself, creating your life is a creative act in itself. What's the best part of a beautiful painting? As a painter? It's painting it, you know? It's painting it. You know, why do so many people have like a visceral reaction to like AI right now is cuz people are like, well, the best part of a painting is the actual painting process. Why? Well, you get into this flow state, you know, you lose track of time. You even forget to eat. You turn on some music, you surprise yourself. You do things you didn't even know you could do. The best part of making a song is literally making the song. It's nice to have the finished output and share it with the world. Yes, but we love the process. We just forget that because sometimes we get so fixed on the outcomes and the destinations, but they were just there. We set those destinations just for a direction. Remember, that goal is a direction. San Francisco for me and my daughter was the direction. But along the way, there was so much for us along the way. Again, I reminded my daughter, if this was a trip where we were so analytical and like, we had to be in San Francisco by this time, you know, I didn't even have any hotels booked. Nope. Every single day, you know, once I realized, you know, okay, you know, we're gonna stop in this city. I just booked a hotel because I wanted to appreciate every step along the way, every view. If I wanted to stop at a view and sit there for three hours, I wanted to stop at that view for three hours. And sometimes life is the same way. The next step you're about to take may have more to offer you than you even realize. The next season you're about to embark on may surprise you and are you ready to receive it? You are if you have the mentality and the mindset that the destination is in every step. The next step is the best part. Why? Because it gets all of you. Because the truth is you are the best part of this whole story. It's you and you done know in hindsight everything gonna be more than all right. Thank you for everybody who's been leaving comments. I love reading them. I appreciate you. Go enjoy the best part. And the secret is it just keeps on getting better too.
